Philippians chapter two verses five through 11. Would you please stand with me as we read God's holy word together? Philippians two five through 11. Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus who being in the form of God thought it not robbery to be equal with God, but made himself of no reputation and took upon him the form of his servant and was made in the likeness of men. And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient unto death even the death of the cross. Wherefore God also has highly exalted him and given him a name which is above every name. That at the name of Jesus, every knee should bow and things in heaven and things in the earth and things under the earth and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is lord to the glory of god the father. Father, we thank you for your holy word. And, Lord, we pray that you would lead and guide us into all truth. We're tired. We're so tired, Lord, like Lot was, where our soul is vexed day by day, watching the decadence, the immorality, the level of deceitfulness, Lord, in the world in which we live. Lord, it grieves my heart to see the spiritual leaders. I don't look, Lord, at the at the worldly government leaders, Lord. I expect them to lie. I know they're liars. I know when their lips are moving, they're lying. But Lord, it just grieves me to see the deception from the pulpits with so many pastors that are clueless, absolutely clueless of the times in which we're living. And Lord, I pray it not be so here. I pray, Lord, that as we yearn and we desire to be led and guide, for you to guide us into all truth, that we'll know the truth and the truth will set us free and keep us free. That, Lord, we'd have no tolerance for evil, no tolerance for half truths. That, Lord, we'd have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them to be salt, to be light in these last days. And, Lord, I thank you, Lord, that our small little voice is such an incredible threat to the devil that the devil hates us. The devil seeks to silence us, to to stop us. And, Lord, that just teaches us ever more how important truth is. So Lord equip us and strengthen us and give us the boldness of the early church to not and never ever ever back down, Lord. Help us, Lord, in these last days. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen. Please be seated. In verse five, he says, let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus. And we want you to notice, for us to notice, the way up is down. Whole lot of people seeking the way up, seeking to be wealthy, popular, you know, seeking the cryptocurrencies, and you'll be a millionaire, you know, and I'm gonna give you $5,000 if you vote for us, you know, and so many different ways that people are being seduced and drawn to a, you know, a false paradigm. There's just no way these things are gonna happen, but it but it's salesmanship. It's a means of seducing people, and nobody wants to be humbled anymore. Nobody wants to be humble. Our leadership wants to be golden. Our leadership wants to be exalted. Our leadership wants statues and straight of Hormuz named after him and all that kind of stuff. And everybody's pant running around going, he's a Christian. He's a Christian. He's a Christian. But it's so antithetical to who Jesus is. It sounds more like Nebuchadnezzar. Isn't that is not this great Babylon which I have built? It doesn't sound like Jesus. It doesn't sound like what what Paul's describing here, but it sure sells. It sure sells because you're a child of the kingdom. You know, you're gonna be healthy, wealthy, prosperous, and you're never gonna gain fat, and you're gonna be real skinny and all that. I mean, that's the prosperity gospel that people wanna hear, you know. But you don't find it in the bible. It's not taught in the bible. And and the very person that that it's all based upon Jesus Christ, he didn't live that way. These false prophets years ago say, he wore designer clothes and, you know, he had cap teeth, and, you know, and, you know, he he never suffered. I mean, show me that. Show me that. Or or your suffering is due to you. You didn't have enough faith. Well, what? Jesus didn't have enough faith. Paul didn't have enough faith. You know? But that false gospel, you can't get rid of it. People gravitate toward that, sort of teaching. But this teaching here, the way up is down to humble yourself in the sight of the Lord, and he'll lift you up, or God resists the proud and he gives grace to the humble. Man, we wanna be prideful. We want everyone to notice us. We want likes. We want a following of our own. And so notice, first of all, his humiliation. We're gonna look at his humiliation before we get into verse, nine of his exaltation. And so verse six, who, speaking of Jesus, being in the form of God, this word being is the Hebrew or excuse me, the Greek word, which, that which a man is in his very essence, which cannot be changed. And then the word form. This word form is morphe, his unalterable essence, substance, and nature. So Jesus is essentially an unalterably God, the pre incarnate Christ. In John seventeen five, this is the Lord's prayer, our Lord Jesus prayer. He says, and now, oh father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was. So Jesus being glorified, second person of the trinity before the world was made, and all things were made by him, and without him was not anything made that was made. He's the creator. He is the redeemer. He's the son of man. He's the god man. And that's what we're gonna see here. He's the god man. He's fully god. So in his humiliation of going to the cross and all, now in John 17, he's praying before he goes to the cross. And he said, alright. Alright, father. Now it's almost time for me to be exalted again. It's almost time for me after I'm gonna be crucified, buried, to be raised from the dead, to ascend to the right hand of the father. And so I've I've set aside the free exercise of my deity, and I took on the form of a man, fully God, fully man, and now it's almost getting time. It's getting close to where that work of redemption's complete, and, and I'll be able to, enjoy the splendor of my glory and my deity. Jesus said in John eight fifty eight to the Pharisees, before Abraham was, I am. And I am statement that the Pharisees picked up stones to slay him because who are you? Who do you make yourself out to be? I am that I am. And that's why the great I am statements, if you go through the New Testament and the Old Testament, and you look at the I am statements of God, Jesus said, I am the bread of life. I am the light of the world. I am the resurrection and the life. Right? And before Abraham was, I am. I am the door. I am the good shepherd. And it's a lesson in his declaration of deity. And the Pharisees, the religious leaders, would understand what it was he was saying as the ego e me, I am. So Jesus is the self existent, never created. So in Colossians, when it says that he's first born of creation, it speaks of rank. It speaks of position. It doesn't mean that he was created or born, the first one that was born. It speaks of rank. And so, be careful on that. And so so he's the self existing eternal God, and so this is his unalterable, eternal form or essence, his unchangeable being divine. So even though he's the babe of Bethlehem, comes through Mary's womb, born of a virgin, he's still God. He's Emmanuel, God with us, the babe of Bethlehem. So he takes on the form of a human being, but he's still God. He thought it not robbery to be equal with God. The word robbery means to cling to. So though equal to God, Jesus set aside, and this you gotta be very careful here because a lot of heresy emanates from a misinterpretation of these passages where people would say, well, he's not God anymore. No. He never ceased being being God. He's God the whole way through. It's just he set aside the free exercise of his deity to take on humanity. He added humanity to his deity, the limitations of humanity. And so he thought it not robbery. It means to cling to. So though equal to God, Jesus set aside his equality as God for us. So verse seven, but made himself of no reputation. So here we have the word the Greek word kino, where we get our theological term, the kenosis. So the emptying, the emptying of himself. And so kino, so he made himself of no reputation, so he's exalted. He's second person of the trinity. He's gonna come down to a planet of dogs, all different type of dogs, and he's gonna take on the form of a dog. He's on the dog planet. Think about that. What if you as a human being were to be lowered to a planet of dogs? What kind of dog would you wanna be? Well, I'm gonna come as a Rottweiler, man. I'm taking no gut from anybody. I'm a be a pit bull, man. Nobody's gonna mess with me. What kind of dog do you think he came as? How low did he go? Little poodle? I got this little curly hair here, and people love to rub their fingers in. Oh, you look like a poodle. You just got your hair go, oh, you look like a poodle. You know? You come as a poodle? He came as a lamb. When when you come as a lion? When you come as a roaring lion? Don't mess with me, man. But he comes in his first advent, his first coming, as a lamb slain before the foundation of the earth. Anybody ever been afraid of a lamb? I remember at the Puyallup Fair before COVID, they used to have a mutton busting. And, my grandkids would go in there, and they'd get to ride on top of the the sheep, grab into the fur and hold on, you know, and they'd time it just like you're riding a bronching buck and all. And they look pretty big, you know. If it was a ram with the big horns, that'd kind of scare me. But you know, anybody ever been afraid of, you know, herd of sheep, you know, killing you, killing your livestock or anything? Sheep are dumb. Sheep are defenseless to a certain degree. I heard a friend of mine, a pastor, you know, he said the hardest thing for for some people in the church is the sheep bites. And the sheep bites are on your back. They're cowards. So they back bite you. So we don't wanna be like that. We don't wanna be dogs, and we don't wanna be wolves. We don't wanna be goats. But the Lord describes us as sheep. Describes himself as sheep. Describes himself as the good shepherd, the great shepherd, the chief shepherd of us as sheep. So he's the kenosis, the emptying of the prerogative of deity, the glory of divinity, Jesus willingly gave up to become a man. Now he could have become an angel. As a man, he's made a little bit lower than the angels. Right? So in Hebrews one, you can look there of his deity. You look in John one of his deity. You can look in Colossians one describing him as God. You can look in Revelation one when they knock at the door, and they claim that he's not God, proving the deity of Christ. Fully God, but there's something new happening here. This is a new thing, never been done before. The emptying of the prerogative of deity, the glory of divinity. Jesus willingly gave up to become a man, and yet, he never ceased being God. His being, his former essence is unalterable. He became what I like, and many of us describe him as, the God man. Fully God, fully man. His morphe is that of God. His schema is that of man. Our morphe, and this is again very careful because you're never gonna be a god. That's a that's another heretical thing that, just as Jesus became god, you know, you're gonna go to a planet and with your wife and repopulate that planet. You're the next Adam and Eve, you know, the God makers, the Mormons. So our morphe is that of humanity. Our schema is that of infant. Our schema is of a child, of a man, of a father, of a husband. Our morphe is unalterable. We will never be God. So that's a big part of the lie within the garden. That's a big part of the lie that the serpent told Eve. You shall not die. You're gonna be as God. That's the that's the lie that's repackaged all throughout history that somehow you're gonna be able to reach godhood. That's the lie that's repackaged during the tribulation period in second Thessalonians chapter two because the world rejects the truth. You're not rejecting the truth. You love the truth. You wanna know the truth, especially about Jesus. You don't wanna believe in a different Jesus. You don't wanna believe in a different gospel. And and something caught my attention this week, and I want you to think about this. If you hear a pastor, a prominent pastor, a nobody pastor, add to the gospel, I want you to recognize that's a false gospel. Let me give an example. If you don't vote, I don't think you're a Christian. Who do you think you are? So the only way I can be saved, Jack, is I've got to believe in Jesus and vote. Only way I can get saved, Amir, is believe in Jesus and Israel can do no wrong. You're not a Christian if you don't support Israel. Well, we love Israel. We know that that Israel the promises to Israel are yay and amen. We know that ultimately, Jeremiah 31, that Israel, the covenant, the new covenant is unconditional covenant. But in the interim here, there's a whole lot of rebellion going on against God. Show me where Israel's supposed to build the temple. God's not asking them to build a temple. That's rebellion against Jesus. The true Israel of God. And I'm not saying the church takes the place of Israel. No. No. No. No. No. The church is Jewish, first and foremost. I'm just saying Israel, like America, has corrupt government. And that corrupt government and corrupt people, unbelievers do bad things. And when they do bad things, they don't get carte blanche simply because God said, I'm gonna bless those that bless Israel and curse those that curse Israel. Do you understand? Israel in Isaac shall they see be called, which means believers. Now you don't need to be anti Semitic, and you don't need to hate Israel. Love Israel. Your savior's a Jew. God is going to spank his own children. You don't spank somebody else's kids. During the tribulation period, two thirds of the Jews are going to perish in the time of Jacob's trouble. God's got this this covered. A one third remnant is gonna be saved by being purified. He's the one that spanks them as they go through. And in that rebellion and in that stubbornness and that stiff neck, and God's the one that describes them this way. They finally say, blessed is he that comes in the name of the Lord. And that's the true Israel of God. That's that's that's the group that's been promised the geographical area, the land, all of it. And they're gonna enter into it during the millennium. And they're gonna be dominant, but presently, we're in what's called the times of the Gentiles, Gentile world rule. There's a struggle going on for world rule, a struggle for globalism, and Israel's in that struggle. Their government's in that struggle. And ultimately, when they sign a covenant with the Antichrist, they're going to perceive that they have global dominance, especially in the Middle East, the nation. But they've been tricked. At the midpoint of the tribulation period, that antichrist is gonna go into the temple, declare himself to be God, demand to be worshiped as God, then they're gonna know they've been deceived. And then the fury of the devil who hates Israel is gonna come against them. And Zechariah 12 says, all nations are going to forsake them. That's the prophetic picture. In the interim here, we love Israel. We pray for Israel, but we do not give any ethnic or people group carte blanche, look the other way when they're doing evil. Did Jesus do that? Did he look the other way? No. He exposed. He exposed the evil. And the greatest evil is rejecting Jesus. The blasphemy of the Holy Spirit. So be very careful moving forward to midterms that these these puppets begin to pressure you and add to the gospel. Be very careful when they demonize Democrats, but don't expose Republicans for their evil. It's hypocrisy. It's rudimentary. It's idiocy. Anybody can pick at Democrats. They're right there. That's their job is to be idiots, To bring you off balance so that you'll trust other idiots. It's lunacy. You're smarter than that. Look for king Jesus, and don't let any of these guys say, I don't know if you're a Christian if you don't take the jab. I don't know if you're a Christian if you're preaching a different gospel. You're adding to the gospel. Salvation is by grace through faith alone. You can be amazed at how many Democrats are in heaven. They believe in the same Jesus you believe in. You'll know them by their fruit, granted. Praise the Lord. But don't fall into that trap of pharisaism of we're better than everybody else. Look at us. We're against abortion. Has abortion ceased? It's increased under your watch through The States. Idiocy. And so if we focus on Jesus, we don't get tripped up in that lunacy. And so when the people get a chance to vote, they vote for Brabbas. There's your vote. We're going to globalism church. Get your head around it. It's happening. Jesus was in complete submission unto his father. He willingly limited the free exercise of his deity. And you and I, although we are never gonna be God, we've been made in the likeness of God, having what? How do we know? The likeness of God, the power of choice. Salvation is by grace through faith alone. We make a choice. We can choose to reject Jesus. We can choose to receive Jesus. And maybe your mom died from cancer, your dad died from cancer. Something grievous, terrible happened to you in your childhood or at some point in your life. It's a fool's errand to reject Jesus Christ and blame God. That's a fool's errand. You're deceived. What if we took your son, your only begotten son, and put him on the cross? Punished him and he's innocent. He didn't do anything wrong. That's what God did to love you. That's what God did to remove that curse of cancer, that curse of the fall of man and his rebellion against God. You don't understand how much God loves you. Instead, the very source of your forgiveness, the very source of life, the very life giver, you're rejecting him. For God so loved you that he gave his son. Is there anybody that's ever been more mistreated than God's only begotten son? Don't play the victim. It's unbecoming of you. We've been made in the likeness of God, having the power of choice, the free moral agency to choose, to think, to reason. Jesus was in complete submission unto his father. He willingly limited the free exercise of his deity. He said, I do always those things that please the father. In Matthew chapter four verses three through 10, Jesus was baptized by John the Baptist and the heavens opened up and the Holy Spirit came down the shape of a dove and immediately, the tempter, the devil took Jesus out into the wilderness. And Jesus didn't eat for forty days and forty nights. And immediately, the tempter said, hey, you're hungry. You're the god man. You're fully god. You're fully man. And I wanna test if you're god. I wanna test you that give in to that craving, that shouting for food right now. Me, I don't have any problem with temptation concerning food and diets. I just give in immediately. It's no no fight for me. I just give in. But Jesus wasn't gonna give in, was he? And so Satan know physiologically how hard it is to do these diets, to fast for forty days. Your body's screaming. The grill and hormone wanting food is just screaming. It's raging. You're getting headaches, whole thing. I need some food. Nobody I don't think anybody here's got forty days and forty nights. Whoo. If conditional, he's quoting not quoting yet, but he's gonna quote Psalm 91 in a second here. But he's saying, if you're the son of man, command that these stones be made bread. So he's given Jesus a chance to exercise his deity. Jesus set aside the free exercise of his deity. He wouldn't use his power, his deity for his selfish means. So Jesus comes back to Deuteronomy six verse eight, and he said, it is written. There's a lesson for you and I. Every time you're tempted, come back to the word of God because the Satan's a liar. It is written, man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God. You're gonna live by the rhema, the spoken word of God, not just the written word of God. Never gonna violate the written word of God. God doesn't make mistakes or stutter or or change his mind. The immutability of God. You're not the exception to the rule. Don't violate God's word. It's always going to be adultery. It's always going to be murder. It's never going to be abortion. It's murder. And you're not the exception. You're not a victim. It's not your choice. It's a life. And whether it's one baby and 3,000,000 babies or three babies by a mother who's lost her instincts as a mother, and that's nothing new. In a time of siege against Jerusalem, as you read in Lamentations when the the Babylonians are sieging the city and no food in or out. There's no means of sustenance, and they'll go for days and months and all. The women were so hungry, they were boiling their babies. Sodening their babies, boiling them and eating the babies. If you're the son of man, command that these stones be made bread. And it is written, man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God. For me, I try to understand God's will for my life. And in that passage, what I understand is Huntington Beach has always been my paradise. And there's nothing wrong. Nobody could say, Rick, right here in the Bible, says, if you live in Huntington Beach, you're in sin. There's no written verse that says that's wrong. It's the rhema. It's the spoken word of God in my heart that God speaks and continues to speak to Kathy and I, this is where I have you. This is the field I want you to labor in and work in and serve me in. And it's effortless. It's not hard. I I don't I don't need Huntington Beach paradise. I have something so much better, which is being in God's will. That's where I wanna be. I could not enjoy so called external paradise if I'm outside of God's will. I can only ride my bike along the beach so much, and I found out a month is pretty good. But after a month, I'm ready to come back. I'm ready to get back on the saddle, get in here. That's that's the whole intention of celebrating your anniversary and spending time outside of the norm. And I just praise the Lord and thank the Lord that I have a place to come back to. I have a loving group of people, and I have the privilege of standing in this pulpit. And God has entrusted in me his holy word, and I get to study, and I get to share, and I I I learn more than any of you. I get more blessed than any of you in what I get to do. What a blessing. But it's the raiment, it's the spoken word of God that is written in my heart. And then Satan takes Jesus upon the temple, the high part of the temple, and he says, I'm gonna quote scripture too. I know the Bible better than you guys. I'm gonna quote you Psalm ninety one ten eleven, and and he'll give his angels charge over you to keep you in all your ways, lest you dash your foot against a stone. But Satan didn't put to keep you in all your ways. He pulled that out. He separated that out. He'll give his angels charge over you, lest you dash to bear thee up, lest you dash your foot against a stone. And Jesus comes back, and he said, it is written, thou shall not tempt the Lord thy God. Not gonna tempt him. Then Satan says, I know. I know. You as a man, you as a son of man, you don't like suffering. You don't wanna suffer. Human beings don't wanna suffer. I I I tried to get that through to God concerning Job, but but God won. Job was willing to suffer for God's glory. I was wrong. I beat Job up and I took away everything from him, and he still worshiped God. I was wrong. But I don't know if I'm wrong about you because most guys, they live with the thought of save thyself. Save yourself. If you're the son of God, save yourself and come down from that cross. The devil shouted through the people. So he takes Jesus and he says, see all these kingdoms of the world. I'm the little g God of this world. I'm the prince of the power of the air. I'm the one that seduced Adam and Eve and I'm the one that stole from them. The federal headship. That first Adam blew it. So if you'll bow down and worship me, if you'll read my text in Isaiah 14, my I will statements, there's my goal. That's my strategy. That's my mandate. I will ascend as the most high God. If you'll bow down and worship me, you don't need to go by way of the cross. I'll give you a shortcut. I'll give you all the kingdoms of the world. As long as I'm God, you can be the king. And again, Jesus quoting the scripture. It is written, man shall worship the Lord thy God and him you're not God, Satan. Man shall worship the Lord thy God and him only shalt thou serve. Begone, Satan. And Satan's leaves Luke's account, I think, says he leaves for a season. So you won that battle. He's praying for you, Peter. Satan wants to sift you as weed. He wants to beat you up and all, but I'm praying for you that your faith fail not and you get through that victory, but you can't drop your guard because Satan's gonna come back another way another time. So be careful. See, be gone, and he left for a season, but he's coming back. And so we see Jesus setting aside the free exercise of his deity to suffer as a human being. And say, knowing that knowing that temptation that oh, you can fix it in a second. You can fix every wrong in a second. And he took upon him the form of a servant and was made in the likeness of men. In second Corinthians eight nine, though he was rich, rich how? Rich in his deity, rich in the splendor of heaven, rich in his glory, seated at the right hand of his father, though he was rich, yet for our sakes, he emptied himself. He became poor. The poor carpenter from Nazareth. That we, through his poverty, his emptying of himself, his giving of himself, his laying down his life, his blood being payment, we become rich. All of our sins are forgiven to talis die. It is finished, paid in full. In the ledger, paid in full. The inheritance, joint heirs with Jesus. All that we forfeited, all that we lost. He's there in Revelation five as a lion of the tribe of Judah with the title deed to the earth. He's the creator. He's the redeemer, and your name's in the lamb's book of life. You're a joint heir with Jesus. If you suffer with him, in Romans eight, you're gonna reign with him. Big step down. He took on the form of a man, not an angel. If he'd have stepped down as an angel, it wouldn't have been as low as becoming a man. But he's made Hebrews one a little lower than the angels. And yet there's no plan of redemption for the fallen angels, is there? Jesus is the son of man identifying with man. And he goes from not only a man, but he took on the form of a servant, a peasant. In Matthew 20 verse 27, our example is even take this mind in you, which was also in Christ Jesus. Even as the son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister and give his life a ransom for many. That's our example. That's what he did. He gave his life a ransom for many. Big step down. The incarnate Christ. In John chapter one, the incarnation. In the beginning was the word, the logos, the word of God. In the beginning here's another in in the beginning before Genesis. In the beginning, God created the heaven, the earth. Well, before the creation of the heaven and the earth, there's in the beginning was the word, and the word was with God, and the word was God. And the same was in the beginning with God. And all things were created by him, and without him was not anything created that was created. John one one through three. And then you come down to verse 14. Here you go. Here it is. And the word became flesh and dwelt among us. Took on humanity, the God man. And the word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld his glory as the only begotten of the father full of grace and truth. That's the kenosis. That's the God man. That's the son of man. That's Jesus. That's the babe of Bethlehem, the virgin born son of God. That's why it's so exciting to still live in a country that celebrates Christmas. And don't ever come to me and tell me there's no such thing as Christmas. It's a Babylonian holiday. Saturnalia and all that. I know that stuff. Don't tell me the word rapture is not in the Bible. It's in the Latin. It's in the Bible. It's harpazo in the Greek, but your argument's an ignorant argument. Because what we're after at Christmas is what? That the whole world acknowledged the incarnation. That God became the babe of Bethlehem. Don't take that away from me in this country. I wanna continue to celebrate collectively, corporately, publicly, display the lights everywhere. Oh, that's pagan. The trees no. I don't care. Get it out there. Make them angry. Make them mad. Make it undeniable. Don't take your light and put it under a bush hole. Watch all the cool movies, Miracle on this Street, and Wonderful Life, and Scrooge, and all of it. Run through all of them. And then a few months later, celebrate Easter. Oh, Easter. It's only in the King James, not East. Alright. At Passover. Celebrate resurrection Sunday. We celebrate it every Sunday. The world hates it. Many people, when Christmas happens, you know what they do? They go to Hawaii and they go to Palm Springs. They want to get away from all the festivity. They take a couple weeks off during the Christmas season because they don't want to be around anybody celebrating the Christmas holiday. Try to get away from it. And then Elvis has the audacity of going to Hawaii and doing a Hawaiian movie there, you know? Christmas movie. I can hear him right now. And being found in fashion, verse eight, as a man, that word fashion is the Greek word schema, which means his outward form. He humbled himself. So he's still going down and became obedient unto death. So obedient unto death. Now watch this qualifier. Not just any kind of death. What kind of death would you compel a woman that strangles three babies? What kind of death would you want her to die? Public hanging, electrocution, injection. What would it be? Eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth, put the fear of God and everybody else out there so they don't do it. It curtails it curtails crime. It's effective. It works. And it's God's mandate when we get to Genesis nine. God gives Noah the right of capital punishment. Romans 13, they don't bear the sword in vain. It's a deterrent to crime. So what kind? And yet Pilate says, I find no fault in him. He didn't do anything wrong. He's the real victim, the only victim, the only unjustified execution, railroaded, liars. We think of JFK. We think of Martin Luther King Junior. We think of so many people assassinated and and the statecraft of assassination, silencing people to get in the way of the bankers. And then every now and then you read about Andrew Jackson, And he's ushered in by the people because they're so tired of the bankers. And he wipes out the Rothschild banking system, the twenty year charter. And what happens? The banker send assassins after him. And he evades their assassination and all, and he fights till 1913 on Jekyll Island. They Aldrich amendment. Nelson Rockefeller Aldrich. Nelson Aldrich Rockefeller. It's the Aldrich amendment. During Christmas time when nobody's watching, the bankers get together just off of New York to Jekyll Island, and they put together what's called the Federal Reserve System, which is not federal. It's the privatization of the banking system. That's what Andrew Jackson thought to keep from happening. But they got you. And now we've had it over a hundred years, and now the new systems can be put in place, and they're never gonna prosecute a Fauci or a Bill Gates. They got immunity. We're never gonna see these guys publicly hanged. No. It's the Christians in Nigeria, the Christians in Iran, the Christians in China, the Christians all over the world that can be wiped out, executed, slaughtered. Nobody cares. There's no voice. Nobody cares. And Jesus, Pilate says, why? I find no fault in him. And the Jews, they don't have the right of capital punishment. Now they can circumvent the law, and they can take them out and stone them like they did Stephen, but they don't wanna stone him. They want him to die even the death of the cross. They want this to be the most heinous, ignoble, demonic means of capital punishment, which was developed by the Persians in the time frame of three to 400 BC. And it was not a form of capital punishment for the Jews. It was for the Romans that they adopted when they conquered the Greeks. And so the Persians being conquered by the Greeks and the Greeks, you know, adopting this form of capital punishment that the Persians came up with. And then the Greeks, delivering it to the Romans, and the Romans using it publicly all over the the the roads leading into Rome, public execution and all. And they're in Jerusalem. There's gonna be two thieves and the savior of the world hanging upon a cross, hanging upon a tree public. And Jesus is apprehended in the Garden Of Gethsemane, and he's in agony. And Luke's gospel says that he's sweating as it were great drops of blood. The blood vessels in his body. And you think of anxiety. Anxiety is real. Depression's real. Discouragement's real. Jesus suffered more than anybody else. He suffered anxiety. He was anxious knowing what awaited him. Father, if you're willing, remove this cup from me, the cup of your wrath, the the cross. If you're willing, remove this cup from me, but nevertheless, not as I will, but thy will be done. And Peter, James, and John were to pray lest they fall into temptation and they can't. Their spirit is willing, flesh is weak and Jesus is praying and Luke, the doctor, Luke says, and he was sweating as the blood vessels were breaking down and it was coming into this the pores and he was sweating blood. Blood's dripping off his forehead. I tried to say the word that I studied, hemiatosis, something like that. I just butchered it, but I sound smart because you don't know what it what it means. Had I not told you I miss said it, you wouldn't even know. You'd think he's one smart dude. And then he's grabbed hold of Judas comes up and betrays him with a kiss. Betrayest thou the son of man with a kiss. The Peter, though everyone betray you, not me, takes off Malchus's ear with a sword. And Jesus said, don't you know that I got 12 legions of angels that are ready to come here and deliver all of us if I wanted to? I I could call them down. If I exercise the free exercise of my deity, I can bring 12 legions, 6,000 allegiance, 72,000 angels, only one angel it took to kill the Assyrians of Senegribe, a 185,000 soldiers, which is one angel. The power and the humility, the emptying of himself, the humility to allow his creation to do this to him. It's just the beginning of that hour of darkness. This is your hour. Do what you're gonna do, Judas. And for thirty pieces of silver, he's betrayed, and Judas is thinking like a mega guy. Judas is thinking mega. He's thinking, make Judah great. Make Israel great. Let's force this guy to be the king. Let's stop him from this insanity of the cross. Let let's force him to exercise his deity to overthrow the Romans and set up his kingdom. I've seen him do it. I've seen him walk on water. I've seen him raise the dead to life. I know the scriptures that speak of his second advent. I'm gonna bring him into the first. I don't see him being cut off. Let's force it. Let's force the issue. Let's take control. And he kisses Jesus, and Jesus said, betrayest thou the son of man with a kiss? The son of man? You're my bro. Judas, you got a moment here. I'm giving you space to repent. You don't need to go out as the son of perdition and hang yourself. Suicide yourself and throw the 30 pieces of silver before the religious leaders. And what is that to us? And they buy the field of blood, Akal Dama, a place for strangers to die within near the potter's house. The shard broken ruined lives represented by the broken pottery thrown into the field. Jesus came for those broken lives. He's the potter and we're the clay. And he makes us into vessels of honor. Trophies of his grace, trophies of his love. And he does it with just dust, just dust of the ground. He grabs an atom and he breathes life into him, from something that's worthless, something that doesn't cost anything. And he makes a beautiful life. He takes and brings beauty from ashes, the oil of joy of mourning, garment of praise with heaviness. And yes, he's anxious. He's sweating. And then they grab him and they arrest him and they bring him over to the house of Annas, which is the father-in-law of Caiaphas, he's the acting high priest at the time. And they interrogate him. And then they bring him before Caiaphas. Caiaphas is home and unofficial meeting with the acting high priest, official high priest, the son-in-law of Anas. Then they bring them before the Sanhedrin before the official Sanhedrin gathered together. Three Jewish unlawful interrogations and trials. They're wanting to get Jesus to the place where he claims to be God. They declare it to be blasphemy. And he, punishable by death, but not the death of stoning, not the death of throwing them over a a cliff like they tried, and he just walked on through. Not not clubs like they're gonna club Stephen, or excuse me, Timothy eventually to death or whatever. Or taking James, the brother of John, up on top of the temple like Herod did and throwing him down. Lot of different ways to kill a man. No. No. He suffered under death, even the death of the cross. But before you get to go to the cross, you gotta go through Pilate's jurisdiction, Pilate's trial. And before he's gonna even look at you, you're gonna be beaten by the soldiers. They're going to beat you. They're gonna put a bag over your head, and they're gonna punch your face, and they're going to punch you repeatedly and say, prophesy. Who did hit you? They're gonna take clubs and beat you. They're softening you up. Then you're gonna be sent over to Herod, and Herod and his men are gonna treat you in the same manner, beating you, mocking you, giving you a staff and bowing down and ridiculing and humiliating you. Oh, the king of the Jews and all. They're gonna fashion a crown of thorns, Judean thorns, which came about because of the curse upon the earth because of man's sin, and they're gonna fashion these Judean thorns in the form of a crown and shove them on your head and push it down and cause your face to begin to bleed. They're softening you up. They're getting you ready. Now you go back to pilot and pilots interceding pilots trying to bring some reason. Prine's trying to bring some sanity. But the people are just completely demonically insane. And they're saying, let his blood be upon us and upon our children. Do you know what you're saying? Do you know what's gonna happen in seventy AD when God destroys the temple and the Romans come in to destroy Jerusalem? Do you know how many millions of people, your children included, are gonna die? Because you didn't know the day of your visitation as Jesus wept over the city? How often he would have gathered you as a mother hen does gather a brood under her wings, but you would not. Your city's left you desolate. Then Pilate offers them Barabbas, and they choose Barabbas. Hey, if you don't vote, you're not a Christian. Well, they're voting, and they're voting for Barabbas, a murderer. They're choosing to let a murdering mom of three of her children to be set free. And there's one juror, one guy that stands up and says, it's murder all day long. It's never gonna change from being murder. That's what it means. By very definition, it's murder. Can you read my lips? Murder. Well, she was. Well, she was. Well, doesn't matter. It's murder. How about the kids? What did Jesus do wrong? I find no fault in him. I he Pilate said he knew for envy that they delivered him, the religious leaders. They wanted capital punishment upon him. Are you a king? Jesus said, yeah. To this end came I forth to bear witness of the truth. What is truth? There's no truth. It's all a bunch of lies. Cynical pilot. And then they bring Jesus to the judgment area, gives them over to the lictors, those who are going to crucify him, to prepare him, to get him ready. And they I was gonna read to you the medical description of a crucifixion. I'll do my best from memory. But basically, what happens, they take a a flag phlegm. It's a hand I mean, a a handle, and then it's several leather strips off of it. And on those leather strips, there would be pieces of metal, little balls that are there. And then also pieces of sheep bone, sharp pieces of cheap bone on other ones. So when they would start, they would start, they make him naked and they would pull his arms tight up and maybe saw the passion of the crisis, the closest I've ever seen to the brutality of what it was really possibly like. And and they start with the back and they come to the upper part of the legs and the straps come around to the front. And when they hit it, it bruises at first the epidermis, the skin, but then it begins to penetrate and then the little bones go in and the bones go to his bones and they're pulling flesh off. They're pulling flesh off the back. And the immediate response of the body is enormous loss of blood, and the person goes into a shock. A shock from the loss of blood, and the body's trying to reel from the pain of that. And and the body begins to break down. Many guys would die just from the scourging. Now Jewish scourging, 40 stripes less one, but not Roman scourging. They go well beyond 39. The apostle Paul took three scorgenes. 39 stripes because he went to 40, past 40, so the Jews to stop at 39 just so they miscount, you know, they're gonna get in trouble. So and Paul's letting his abductors know that it's not right to to, you know, scourge a a Roman citizen. This was only for the low lives, you know. And so a condemned criminal like Jesus who did nothing wrong. And then after they they do this in Isaiah chapter 50, it says, I hid not my face from Isaiah 50 verse 12. They pulled his beard off. He hid not his face from shame and spitting. And so basically, they gaped upon him in Psalm 22. They gnashed upon him, and I gave my back to the smiters and my cheeks to them that plucked off my hair, and I hid not my face from shame and spitting. There's the verse. So picture that. Seven hundred years before it happened, in the year 300 to 400, they invent the Persians invent crucifixion. The Bible describes crucifixion in Isaiah fifty two fifty three and Isaiah 50 verse twelve, seven hundred years before Christ is going to suffer. Psalm 22, one thousand years before Jesus is crucified. The Bible, the psalmist describes crucifixion before Jesus even goes to the cross. The account in Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John coincides with what happened or was prophesied to happen in Psalm 22, Psalm 69, Isaiah 50 verse 12, Isaiah 52, the end of it, leading into Isaiah 53. Prophetic picture of what awaited Jesus. I gave my back to the smiters, my cheeks to them that plucked off the hair. So the people are grabbing his hair and they're pulling his beard out. If you were to reach over and grab your husband's beard right now and pull on it, he's gonna scream. It's gonna hurt. And if you pull hard enough, you're gonna pull chunks of skin out of his cheek, out of his face. And then the shame and the spitting of the people that are nearby. He saved others himself. He cannot save. If you're the Christ, come down from the cross. Come down right now. Save thyself. Save thyself. That's the that's the cry of the devil through the people. Let his blood be upon us and upon our children. And he cries out in Psalm 22, my God, my God, why has thou forsaken me? Why art thou so far from my roaring? And we see this in Psalm 22. And he he why has thou forsaken me? So Jesus, he that became sin. In second Corinthians five twenty one. He made him sin. God made him sin, who knew no sin, that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. So he's my God, my God, why has thou forsaken me? At that moment, in time, because outside of time and eternity, he'd never experienced a separation from his father. What's the definition of death? Separation. God caused his son to take the sins of the whole world, past, present, future, and to embody the sinfulness of man. And then God is fully just and holy and pouring out his wrath. If you're worth if you're willing, remove this cup from me, the cup of wrath. Remove your this from me. Nevertheless, not as I will, but thy will be done. And God pours out his wrath upon his son, punishing sin, and there's that point of separation from his father. You're so far from helping me and from the words of my roaring. Oh my god. I cry in the daytime, but thou hearest not. And in the night season and not silent. But our holy, oh thou that inhabits the praises of Israel. Our fathers trusted in thee. They trusted and thou did deliver thee them. They cried unto thee and were delivered. They trusted in thee and were not confounded. But I'm a worm. And pastor Kevin, when he was here, he talked concerning the crocus worm, the worm that would be taken and crushed to bring forth the crimson color, the blood. Jesus is that worm and no man. A reproach of men, a despise of the people. And Isaiah 53 says, he is despised of men, acquainted with grief and we hid his heart where our faces from him. All they that see the laugh me to scorn. So you picture the people there at the cross looking at him. He's nailed to the cross. They laughed me to score and they shoot out the lip. They shake the head saying, he's trusted in the Lord that he would deliver him. Let him deliver him seeing he is delighted in them in him. But thou art he that took me out of the womb. His mother Mary, thou did make me hope when I was upon my mother's breast and as a babe of Bethlehem, as a human being, he hoped for good. He hoped for comfort. I was cast upon thee from the womb. Thou art my God, from my mother's belly. Be not far from me for trouble is near, for there's none to help. Notice this. Many bulls have compassed me. Strong bulls of Bashan have beset me round. They're gaping upon me. They gaped upon me with their mouths as ravening and roaring lions. I am poured out like water. Now in crucifixion, part of what happens, after that scourging, they're gonna take Jesus, and they're gonna march him to the place of crucifixion. And this is a toss, a t a t type of cross where the the vertical part of the cross would already be in the ground locked in place. So what Jesus is gonna carry is the top part, the t part. And so he's been beaten, and he's beaten beyond the recognition of a man. His beard's been poured out pulled out. His body's reeling from the from the effects of huge, enormous amount of blood. He's thirsty. His body's crying out for hydration, you know, for for water and all. He's losing his strength. Now, is a stud. This is a very, very strong man before this happens. He's not a weakling British actor. He's very strong. He's a carpenter from Nazareth. He doesn't fear anyone or anything. Nobody took his life from him. He willingly laid it down. And so he's marching toward the place of crucifixion. And Simon of Cyrene comes along to help him carry the weight of that. He's losing the strength. He's weakening now. And when he gets to the place of crucifixion, they're going to lay him down on the ground, and they're gonna take the top part, and they're going to nail. They're gonna take nine inch nails, and they're gonna go through the wrist bone area. And when they go through the wrist bone area, because the hand wouldn't be able to hold the weight of the two hands, and the wrist areas in the Hebrew or in the Greek is also the the wrist area. And they're gonna affect the ulnar ulnar, I hope I'm saying that right, nerve there. Excruciating pain from the wrist all the way up to his head begins to take place because of the nail going through his his wrist. And then they lay him they they hoist him up, and when he gets up there, they take his his feet, and they place him one over the other. They bring another nail through his feet, and there's another nerve that they're gonna compromise. It's gonna go all the way up his body. I have a sciatic nerve problem. And boy, when it's active, it really hurts. So your nerves are reeling, your muscles are cramping, and now they're going to bend your knees just a little bit, and they're gonna put a place for your feet to rest. And crucifixion is death by asphyxiation. Because what would happen is that in your shoulders, when we read the Psalm 22 here, your shoulders be become dislocated. Your elbows become dislocated from the weight of your body. Dislocated shoulder, dislocated elbows. You could your height would stretch six inches apparently due to this. You're being held by your tendons now. The joints aren't there to support the weight. So you've got to press up to get a breath. It's easy for the breath to come in. The diaphragm's compromised and and there's a weight there. But in order to exhale, in order to speak, and he spoke seven times from the cross, he's gotta use his legs to push up to exhale that breath. So what happens is is then the heart begins to break down. The the oxygen is unable to to come to the heart, so there's going to be fluid, a buildup of fluid in the pericardium, the sac around the heart. Harder and harder to breathe, harder and harder to to speak. And your thirst is off the charts. The bleeding from the head with the crown there, The beard pulled off, the shame, the spitting, the accusations, the chaos, the confusion. And the first thing that comes out of his mouth. Father, forgive them. And he had to press up to be able to say that. Father, forgive them for they know not what they do. There's a couple thieves around him. One of them begins to mock Jesus, challenge Jesus. Another one says, Lord, remember me when you're in your kingdom. Jesus steps up again and says, this day you'll be with me in paradise. The pain that he fought through, the pain that he experienced, The hope of the resurrection. The hope of salvation. And then because the Sabbath is approaching, he's gonna have to die pretty quick because not a bone of him is gonna be broken. And he's gonna press up again. He's gonna say it is finished. He's gonna press up again and he's gonna say, father, into your hands, I commit my spirit. He's gonna give up the ghost totally and completely in control. He leaves the shell of that body. And he that us send it first descends in the lower part of the earth. In Ephesians four to those in Abraham's bosom, that thief that was on the cross this day, you'll be with me in paradise. He's going to empty that place out. Be asked in the body to be present with the Lord. And he says, I'm poured out like water, and all my bones are out of joint. My heart is like wax. It is melted in the midst of my bowels. My strength is dried up like a potsherd. My tongue cleaves to my jaws, and thou hast brought me into the dust of death. For dogs have compassed me, and the assembly of the wicked have enclosed me. They pierced my hands and my feet. One thousand years before the crucifixion. They part my garments. Remember that? They part my garments, the soldiers gambling for Jesus's garment among them and cast lots upon my vesture. And now but but be not thou far from me, o lord, my my strength hasty to help me. Deliver my soul from the sword, my darling from the power of the dog. Save me from the lion's mouth, the devil. For thou hast heard me from the horns of the unicorn. Now his exaltation, the humility and the exaltation. I will declare thy name unto thy brethren in the midst of thy congregation. Will I praise thee? You that fear the Lord praise him. All the seed about Jacob glorify him and fear him all you the seed of Israel for he has not despised nor a bore aboard the affliction of the afflicted neither has he held fast from him. But when he cried unto him, he heard my praise shall be of thee and the great congregation. I will pay my vows before them and fear them. The meek shall eat and be satisfied and shall praise the Lord that seek him. Your heart shall live forever. And so there's it goes on to describe more of that exaltation. And then in Isaiah chapter 52, seven hundred years before Jesus was crucified, Isaiah penned this section describing the the crucifixion, describing what Jesus was gonna endure for us. And it starts Isaiah 53, the guys that break make these breaks. The thought really starts in Isaiah 52 verse 13, where it says, behold, my servant shall deal prudently. He shall be exalted and extolled and be very high. Now watch this. As many were astonished at thee, his visage, which means his face, was so marred more than any man. And his form, there's our word, his form, his outward appearance, more than the sons of men. Now when you think about this, think about John the beloved in Revelation chapter five. As Chuck Missler has said, the only human thing in heaven are the scars that we gave our savior. And John is looking for the line of the tribe of Judah's prevailed. And it says, who is worthy to open the scroll and loose the seals? No man, nobody, nowhere. And then John's instructed and told the line of the tribe of Judah, he's prevailed. King Jesus has prevailed. And John says, he looked at him and he saw him. And the picture there is as a lamb that was slain in Revelation five verse six, still bearing those scars. The two on the road in Emmaus didn't recognize him. Mary Magdalene didn't recognize him as the gardener. She had voice recognition. Raboni. What's he gonna look like? Are those scars? What reminder will they hold for you and I throughout eternity as the God man, fully God, fully man in heaven, the lamb slain before the foundation of the earth still bearing those scars? Now, when you see him, will you have the idiocy to say, God, why? Won't all of your injustices and everything you think he owes you an explanation for, won't they all be answered at that moment when you see him face to face? So shall he sprinkle many nations. The king shall shut their mouths at him for he that had not been told them shall they see and that which they had not heard shall they consider at the at Armageddon all those kings all the kings of the world and all these guys there and they're going to be blown away. And it goes on to say, who has believed our report and to whom his arm of Lord revealed Isaiah 53. For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, as a root out of dry ground. He has no form. There again, that word form is outward appearance, nor comeliness, outward beauty when we see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him. He is despised and rejected of men. A man of sorrows and acquainted with grief and we hid as it were our faces from him. He was despised and we esteemed him not. Surely, he has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows, yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions. He was bruised for our iniquities. The chastisement of our peace was upon him, and with his stripes, we are healed, the atonement. All we all means all. All have sinned and come short of the glory of God. There's none righteous. No. Not one. All we like sheep have gone astray when the sheep when the shepherds spent and the sheep scattered. Peter, all of them, all of us scattered. All we like sheep have gone astray. We have turned everyone to his own way and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all. He that knew no sin became sin. That we might be made the rice of God in him. He was oppressed. He was afflicted. Yet he opened not his mouth. As a sheep before shears is dumb, so he opens not his mouth. When the liquor would hit, part of the reason that they're hitting him with a cat of nine tails is so Jesus would confess his crimes, confess his sins. He had nothing to confess. As a sheep before shears is dumb, so he opened not his mouth. And so the lictor would raise it. He'd he'd hit harder. So many crimes solved in the community simply from the the whooping that people would take as they confessed what they had done, the liquor would afflict them less and less. As sheep before his shearers dump, so he opened down his mouth. He was taken from prison and from judgment, and who shall declare his generation? He was cut off out of the land of the living. He never married, never had children. Living for the transgression of my people was he stricken. He made his grave with the wicked, so he's there being crucified with two thieves. And with the rich, Joseph of Arimathea, hey, I'm gonna use your tomb for the weekend. And his death because he had done no violence, neither was there any deceit in his mouth. Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise him that he has put him to grief when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin. He shall see a seed and he shall prolong his days and the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in his hand. He shall see the travail of his soul and he shall be satisfied by his knowledge. Shall my righteous servant justify. There's our word justify just if we never sinned many for he shall bear their iniquities. Therefore, will I divide him a portion with the great. So here's the exaltation, the humiliation, the exaltation. Therefore, I will divide him a portion with the great and he shall divide the spoil with the strong because he has poured out his soul unto death. He was numbered with the transgressors, the two thieves, and he bear the sins of many and made intercession for the transgressors. Father, forgive them for they know not what they do. Our Lord Jesus. And being found in fashion as a man, the schema, his outward form. He humbled himself and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. The lamb slain before the foundation of the earth from glory to suffering. Why did Jesus humble himself? Number one, the crucifixion. Number two, communication. The book of revelation to reveal himself. Philip said in John 14, show us the father and that'll suffice. Have I been such a time with you, Philip? He that has seen me has seen the father. He's communicating with his life thirty three years there and the more sure word of prophecy. He's communicating to this planet of sinners of God's love. For God so love. What kind of God do you serve? A God of love? And thirdly, that of redemption to bring his blood. His humiliation, secondly, notice his exaltation verse nine. Wherefore God also has highly exalted him and given him a name which is above every name. Colossians said that in all things he might have the preeminence. He's ranked first. He's number one. In Psalm two verse 12 says, kiss the son, lest he be angry and you perish from the way. When his wrath is kindled but a little, blessed are all they that put their trust in him. So don't mess with Jesus. Don't misconstrue his love and his kindness and the emptying of himself and the given of his love for weakness. His meekness is not weakness. When he comes in Psalm two, oh, how the heathen rage and imagine a vain thing against the Lord and against his anointed. God laughs from heaven. Wait till my son comes and destroys the antichrist and all the armies of the antichrist. With the brightness of his coming, the sword of his mouth and the antichrist and the false prophet dropped dead there at Basra. And then the an angel grabs hold of Lucifer in Revelation 20 and puts him in the lake of fire. Actually, in the abyss for a thousand years. Then later, after the millennium, the devil goes and joins up with the antichrist and the false prophet who are immediately put in the lake of fire. Jesus wins. His love for being weakness. Don't misconstrue. Verse 10, that at the name of Jesus, every knee should bow of things in heaven and things in the earth and things under the earth. So angels, holy angels, unholy angels, men, those in hell will all bow to king Jesus. It's interesting when he went to guess Gennesaret or Gadara, the demons are shrieking and speaking through those human beings who are have demons in them, and the demons know who he is. We know who you are, Jesus, the just one. Have you come to torment us before our time? They know who he is. And it's interesting in John one that he came onto his own, the nation of Israel, and his own knew him not. He was in the world. The world was made by him, and the world knew him not. He's in Nazareth, the place he grew up, and the people don't know who he is. A prophet is not without honor except among his own family and kindred. His brothers did not believe in him until after the resurrection. His own blood brothers, half blood, you know, blood brothers. Didn't believe him till after the resurrection. James and Jude got saved and wrote a, you know, epistles and James became one of the pillars within the church in acts 15 and all. But he came under his own and his own received and not but many as received him to them gave he the power to become the sons of God even as many as believe, you know, in his name. And so all bowed down to King Jesus, the Greek word Kurios, which speaks of Lord. In Luke chapter twenty one twenty six, men's hearts failing them for fear, for looking after those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. And then shall they see the son of man. This is his favorite term for himself. Not I want all of you to call me messiah, the anointed one. I want all of you to call me Christ. No. Son of man. That's what I want you to call me. The son of man. I want to identify with you as you identify with me in my death burial resurrection as you're baptized in the name of the father, the son, the holy spirit. I want to identify with you as the last Adam that I chose to become a man that I chose to become a human being, to leave the free exercise of deity, the splendor of heaven, and fellowship with my father, to take on the form of a man, and to be crucified, to have my blood be shed, The son of man, 88 times in the New Testament coming in a cloud with power and great glory. So the God man still bearing the scars taking possession of what's his. And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God, the father. When they came, the soldiers came to the cross, and they saw Jesus there already giving up the ghost. They came to break the legs of the two other thieves to speed up the process because if they can't push up, they're gonna die quicker. When they came to Jesus, he's already dead. But to confirm, to verify that he's dead, the centurion took his spear and he thrust it through the rib cage into what's called the pericardium. The place, the bag around the heart, All that fluid building up as a result of the lack of oxygen is building up. So blood and water filling up that that cavern there, that sack. And medically speaking, the doctor said that Jesus ultimately, with the asphyxiation, with not being able to get enough air, that you die eventually with a cardiac arrest or a burst heart. And what came out? Blood and water bursting out of that out of that place. And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord of the glory of the father. So it's not a question of if you'll confess Jesus Christ as Lord, but when. Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, in Matthew ten thirty two, him will I confess also before my father which is in heaven. But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my father which is in heaven. Think not that I am come to send peace upon the earth. I came not to send peace, but a sword. Jesus is a divider of men. You're either saved or you're lost. You're the saint or an ape. There's no in betweeners. There's no almost Christians. Nobody's almost pregnant. You either have that seed in you of being born again, being a new creation in Christ Jesus, or you're in the natural. You're a natural man, natural woman, body and soul, not body, soul, and spirit. It's appointed. There's an appointment in Hebrews nine twenty eight, an appointed that all men die, and then comes the judgment. Is Jesus your savior and lord? It was so important that he's not just your Lord because he's already your Lord. Every knee is gonna bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. He's Lord to everybody. But his only savior to those who believe in him, to those who receive him as their savior. As many as received him, to them gave he the power become the sons of God, even to as many as believe in his name. So why not confess him now? If thou shall confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and shall believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, thou shall be saved. For with the and it and it doesn't say, and vote for a Republican. Don't add. Don't let anybody add to the gospel. Who do they think they are? You're really that important? Gonna sway an election and Christian nationalism or something? Make America great? I've never seen America accelerate so fast into the toilet that I have during this administration. The b system is on steroids. And I'm not worried about it because it's prophetic. I let go a long time ago. I'm looking for the return of Jesus Christ. Every knee is going to bow. He's going to make it right. He's going to deal with Bill Gates. He's going to deal with George Soros. He's going to deal with Anthony Fauci and all the pretenders that have immunity. The Epstein files, these pedophiles. It's unjust, but we're warned as it was in the days of Sodom and Gomorrah, as it was in the days of Noah. Noah, the thoughts and intents of man heart was only evil continually. What do we expect at the end of the age? It's not gonna be right till king Jesus comes. So if you confess him now and you believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, for with the mouth for with the heart man believes under righteousness, And with the mouth, confession is made unto salvation. And verse 13, whosoever calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Call upon him while he's near. Use that measure of faith that he's given you to affirm, to agree that you're a sinner. Turn from your sins. Cry out to God. God, be merciful to me, a sinner. He's your savior and Lord. Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus. Humble yourself today. Upon this rock, I'll build my church and the gates of hell will not prevail against it. Whosoever shall fall upon this stone shall be broken. Fall upon Jesus and be broken. But on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind them to powder in his second coming as king of kings and lord of lords. Don't test god. You will lose. Today is the day of salvation. Tomorrow is too late. Why wait? The way up is down. Bow your heart before god. Confess Jesus Christ as lord. Now, Jesus Christ as Lord to the glory of God, the father. Hebrews two verse three. How shall we escape if we neglect so great a salvation? How are you gonna escape if you reject God's plan of salvation? Beloved, now are we the sons of God? It does not yet appear what we shall be, but we know that when he shall appear, we shall be like him for we shall see him as he is. And he does has his hope in him purifies himself even as he is pure. That blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and savior Jesus Christ is on the verge of happening. And you are ready. I'm ready. Not everybody in my family's ready. Not all my friends are ready. The only reason we're still here is because God wants to use our lives to preach Christ. To let people know once again how very, very much he loves them. Jesus Christ is Lord. You have a choice today. You can bow and you can pinch incense in one of the pagan temples, and you can say at the midterms, Caesar is Lord. Or you can say Jesus Christ is Lord. I'm not giving into paganism. I'm not giving into Caesar. I'll be a good citizen. I'll do what's required of me as a citizen in our constitution republic and all. But when it goes beyond my right as a citizen, when it comes to the place of worship, of worshiping Caesar, that Caesar is deity? No. We're not going to pinch incense, save our life and say Caesar is Lord. Jesus Christ is Lord. And ultimately, the whole world is gonna be shut out of their banking system if they don't say Caesar is Lord. If they don't worship the image of the beast. Every man a mark on the right hand of their forehead. What is Satan after? We saw it in the temptation of Jesus. He wants to be worshipped as God. And very simple minded Christians in the first two centuries, 6,000,000 Christians gave up their lives with 10 waves of Roman emperors imposing upon the early church that test of going into the temple and declaring Caesar as Lord. And they said, no. They'd rather be absent the body and be present with the Lord. An innumerable multitude of people in the tribulation period, in Revelation six and seven, refuse the mark of the beast. These are what's called the tribulation saints. They'd rather die by beheading or however they're gonna do it and overcome him by the word of their testimony, the blood of the lamb, and they love not their lives unto death. They love Jesus more than living because to die is to gain. To die physically is to live spiritually for all eternity. Whosoever seeks to save his life is gonna lose it. Whosoever loses his life for Jesus and his kingdom's sake, you're gonna gain it. The way up is down. Jesus Christ is Lord. Let's pray. Father, we thank you. We love you, Lord. And Lord, we just scratched the surface today. But the Lord, there's a lot of heavy things there in the cross and the gospel, the heart of the gospel, the crucifixion, the burial, the resurrection. Such simple truths, but Lord, we're not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, Lord. Simple, but yet so in-depth. There's so much there. There's so much of your love revealed. Lord evermore, help us to appreciate, helps to live lives of worship, ascribing worth unto you. With hearts of obedience, let this mind be in us that was also in Christ Jesus. Walk in obedience. Help us, Lord, moment by moment to take every thought captive, every impure thought, everything that's that's trying to trip us up and pollute and distract us. Help us, Lord. Help us to meditate upon your word. Have fellowship with you. Lord, help us be you be the first go to person. The person we go to first. The person we go to the most often. Lord, let us spend as much time with you as we spend on our phones, on our devices today. May we sit at your feet, Lord. Be worshippers. Be men and women of your word and give us a boldness. Give us a courage that we fear no man. That we don't fear if they like us or don't like us. Make us like you, Lord. If there's anybody here this morning and Jesus is not your savior, we want you to come to that place of surrender unto him, to king Jesus as Lord, as savior. Confess with your mouth. Believe in your heart. Receive Christ into your heart and life. Turn from your sins. Cry out to God. God, be merciful to me a sinner. He hears that cry. The self righteous Pharisee doesn't hear. Those that justify themselves, he doesn't hear them because they're exalting self. Those that humble themselves, he exalts. Those that exalt themselves, he abases. Humble yourself. Come to Jesus by faith. Salvation is a free gift. Anyone here this morning, lift your hand up. Anybody on Facebook, just cry out to Jesus now. Today is the day of salvation. Don't wake up one day and realize you've been deceived. And you find out, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in your name? Have we not cast out demons in your name? Have we not done many miracles in your name? And you find out, he says, away from me. I never knew you. Salvation's a relationship. Do you know him? Do you want to know him? Religion can't save you. He's a risen Christ, a risen savior. He wants you to know him. He wants you to pray and ask him questions. He wants you to compare the word of God with the answers that you think you're getting. He wants you to walk by faith when you don't have an answer. To walk by faith, to follow his word, to trust him. The walk of faith. Anyone here this morning? Heavenly father, we thank you so much. We thank you, Lord, for the sweetness of fellowship with you. Lord, it's just it's a treasure. The unsearchable riches of Christ that are ours as Christians. Lord, we don't want to settle for the putrid things of the world. Things that don't satisfy. Things that can't fill that void, that emptiness. And Lord, we don't wanna live on the fence either. We don't wanna have salvation as fire insurance, but live like the world. Live in the world. Lord, we're in the world, but not of it. We don't wanna be of the world. We don't wanna be worldly, lukewarm, Laodicean Christians, Lord. We wanna be more like the Church of Philadelphia, Smyrna. Lord, we wanna be a church that you're well pleased with. Hone us. Polish us. Burn off the dross, Lord. Let our life shine for your kingdom and your glory. Let the light shine bright in these dark, dark days. Help us, Lord. We pray in Jesus' name. Amen.
