Philippans 2:5,11 -Jesus Christ Is Lord- Pastor Rick Beaudry 2026-09-13
Pastor Rick Beaudry reads Philippians 2:5–11 and unpacks Christ’s humility and exaltation, explaining the kenosis as Jesus emptying himself to become the God‑man, obedient even to death on the cross. He contrasts the way down that leads to true exaltation with the prosperity gospel, political add‑ons to the gospel, and other false teachings that mislead and compromise truth. Tracing Jesus’ temptation, suffering, prophetic fulfillment, and resurrection, he urges us to confess Jesus as Lord, live humbly, resist compromise, and be salt and light amid cultural decay. The message closes with prayer and a clear call to repentance, faith, and sacrificial obedience.
