He draws sharp parallels between Paul’s trials and modern pressures: COVID church shutdowns, Bill C‑9 and Pastor Arthur Pawlowski’s legal battles, rising hate‑speech laws, biometric surveillance and the normalization of sexual immorality, that threaten Christian witness. Beaudry urges the church to be continually filled with the Holy Spirit, to pray for open mouths and open eyes, and to obey God rather than men rather than resort to worldly coping or pharmakia. Pointing to Paul as an “ambassador in bonds,” he challenges us to embrace suffering as testimony, seize God‑given opportunities to preach, and trust Christ to turn people from darkness to light.
