First Corinthians three, and I brethren could not speak unto you as under spiritual but as under carnal even as under babes in Christ. I fed you with milk and not with meat for hitherto you were not able to bear it neither yet now are you able. For you are yet carnal for whereas there is among you envy and strife and divisions, are you not carnal and walk as men? For while one say it, I'm of Paul, another I'm of Apollos, are you not carnal? Who then is Paul? Who is Apollos but ministers by whom you believed even as the Lord gave to every man? I have planted Apollos water but God gave the increase. So then neither is he that plants anything, neither he that waters but God that gives the increase. Now he that plants and he that waters are one and every man shall receive of his own reward according to his own labor. For we are laborers together with God, you're God's husbandry, you're God's building. Father, we come before you Lord and as we study your word, we pray that you would fill us to overflowing, that you'd be our teacher, that you edify and build us up, strengthen us. And Lord, I do pray that that we'd be able to do everything decently and in order, that we'd start on time, finish on time, and, be, flexible, but not so so flexible, Lord, that we we, overdo it. Help us to, hit the target, hit the bull's eye, and be able to hear that what you're wanting to hear, and then maybe have some some other things we study as as dessert later at home. But Lord bless this time. Help us to be wise with the time you've given us. In Jesus name we pray, amen. Would you please be seated? Now I'm gonna talk extra fast. I don't appreciate how excited you were that I was gonna finish at twelve. That breaks my heart that I'm I'm gonna I'm gonna read so fast, your head's gonna spin. You're you're gonna have to you're gonna have to get the tape. For the eyes of the Lord, run to and fro the no. People have always always complained about how fast I talk. It's because there's so much inside of me, so much I'm wanting to get out. And I thought with this time we have, I just cruise, but I can't. I I gotta go back. So in second Corinthians sixteen nine, the prophet Hananiah speaking to King Asa, he said, the eyes of the Lord go to and fro throughout the whole earth. God's omniscient, he sees everything. To show himself strong on behalf of a man or a woman, he didn't say woman, he said man, but women too. A man or a woman whose heart is perfect toward God. Are you that man? Are you that woman? Are you that marriage? Are you that couple? Are you that single man, single woman? Are you that child that God's looking at like like Samuel? I'm gonna make you into a prophet Samuel. John the Baptist, others. So God is still looking for people to fill and use for his kingdom and glory, and oh, how he's looking for people today. Oh, how many opportunities we have at the end of the age to be used of God. Don't you wanna be used of God? And his eyes are going to and fro throughout the whole earth to show himself strong on behalf of you. And the prerequisite is is that your heart's perfect toward him. He doesn't want you to have a divided heart, in love with the world, and think we're gonna go back to normal, and we need to come up with a solution to get back to normal. No. Normal is putting the Lord first. Seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these other things be added unto you. We got off course. We better hope in men. We thought men would do the job that we voted them and hired them to do. And while we were asleep, they corrupted and destroyed all that was good. So the prerequisite is that they be those whose hearts are perfect toward him, which means spiritually controlled people. Be being filled with the Holy Spirit. We talked about the natural man, how he understands not the things of God neither can he know them. Why? Because they're spiritually discerned. Nick, you must be born again. Nick, you're religious, but Nick, you're headed to hell unless you're born again. You gotta be body, soul, and spirit, Nick. And then we talked about the carnal man. The carnal man is born again, but the carnal man is allowing the flesh to dominate his life. Fleshly dominated. So the church's appeal toward carnal and the unbelievers, not the spiritual. The church's appeal is to the unbeliever and the carnal Christian to entertain. And I don't know how many times I'm gonna say it throughout the next year, but I think I think that church in Cleveland, wherever it was that did that Super Bowl thing, you know, hit a new, new ringer or whatever for idiocy, You know? Kicking the bible? Are you kidding me? And writing some big ball thing, you know, and god. People love it so. They love to be entertained. Can you imagine running around boasting about how your woman pastor kicked the bible 20 yards? I mean, come on. Would that be embarrassing and shameful? Wouldn't you be ashamed if somebody I mean, talk about idiocy. But but if you're carnal, you're fleshly, that's the kind of thing you want. That's the kind of thing that makes you laugh, makes you, oh, that's so cool. So the problem with the church of Corinth and that of many churches today is that they are made up of people who are not the spiritual men, the pneumatikos in the Greek, but are instead the natural men, the sukkakos, the unbelievers, or the carnal men, the sukkakos, the believers still dominated by the flesh. Who are you? Who are you this morning? The spiritual, we wanna look at in three ways. You can evaluate your life in three ways. The spiritual is number one, flourishing. Verse one. And I, brethren, could not speak to you as unto spiritual, but as under carnal, even as under babes in Christ. So Paul, hey, planted this church. Eighteen months I spent here planting this church. And I find reports that you guys are carnal. I find reports that there's sedition and factions and, you know, a bunch of problems, bunch of babes in Christ. Where's that investment? Where's that time we put in? It's okay to be a babe at first, but why aren't you growing? Why don't you got your big boy, you know, bib overalls on or something, you know? So this word brethren speaks of he's believers indwelt by the spirit, but carnal. So when he used the word brethren, he's talking to those that he believes are saved. But the problem is is their carnality, which means fleshly dominated by the fallen and ademic nature. They're babes in Christ five years later. He planted the church five years earlier, and they've got an arrested state of development. They're stunted. They're stagnant. They're immature. They're barren. They're not flourishing in spiritual growth. Jesus said in John 10 verse 10, I am come that you might have life and that you might have it abundantly. And I I want the abundant life of the spirit. It doesn't mean I'm gonna give you a Joel Olsteen kind of a hope where you can have everything you want, but Jesus, once you have Jesus, you've got everything you need, everything you should want. And the unsearchable riches of Christ, the life of the spirit. And, the life of the spirit is superior to the life of the flesh. Why wouldn't you want the life of the spirit? So why still babes? The carnality is a behavioral pattern. Being carnal is a behavioral pattern. If you're spending enormous amount of time on social media, on the television, things that feed the eye gate, the ear gate with carnality, with fleshly stuff, consequently, you're going to be a carnal Christian. There's where your appetite is. That's the things that you enjoy. I couldn't wait to, at times, it almost making me insane trying to watch a movie with Kathy at night, and, those commercials coming on were up just about making me insane. It was like, we gotta shut this off. I can't listen one more time to that, you know. And I can't imagine people that have that blaring, you know, all day long. That's their that's their, you know, who they hang out with, you know, all day long. And so it's something that we choose moment by moment, moment at a time. And then we're in a restaurant, and we saw these kids there in the restaurant, and they weren't talking with each other. Everyone had their head down their phones, you know, for for hours, you know. And, so, we could be guilty of that. I've been known to look at my phone a little bit, but, a lot of times, you know, you go to birthday parties and places, and again, nobody's talking. Nobody's interacting. Gotta put those things in a in a in a basket, you know, or a bucket of water or something, you know? People freak out if they didn't have it, but that it lends itself to carnality. Obviously, can use our phones with bible apps and I use mine to I'll show you how spiritual I am. I I listen to bible teaching on it, you know. Pastor Chuck, I I explained that to you guys, the word for today. So I go to the gym and I listen to bible studies. So I'm getting bible studies, bible studies, bible studies as a result of the phone. And if I don't do a bible study, I'm doing worship music. So it's a tool if it's used in the right way. And then we try to take on our Facebook pages and we try to post things that kinda, that we just read about there in stevequail.com. That information, try to get on there, see if we can circulate and get more people, you know, to wake up. We use YouTube and and, you know, Vicky's, Be Not Deceived podcast and Rumble, a lot of you guys are posting a lot of stuff all the time. And the emphasis, we're gonna use the social media in a positive way to alert people, wake people up, and and that's the proper usage thereof. But a a pattern, so we choose moment by moment at a time. So a spiritual, and I'm gonna use this word in a in a right way, hope it doesn't offend anybody, a spiritual retardation is of our own doing. Galatians six seven, be not deceived, God is not mocked. Whatsoever man sows, so so shall he reap. So the sowing and the reaping. If you sow to the flesh, you're gonna reap corruption. If you sow to the spirit, you're gonna reap life. You're gonna reap the fruit of the spirit. So it's a choice you make of what's coming into the ears, the eyes, the time that you have, even when you're working, even when you're working out, even when you're walking, you can be sowing. You can be praying without ceasing. You can be sowing to the spirit. If you're cut off from the spirit, there should be sort of a lag going on, sort of a, you know, I miss walking in the spirit. This distraction that came in took me away from the Lord for the past fifteen minutes or whatever, and it's not edifying. It's not building me up. It's not causing me to fall more in love with the Lord. It's a distraction. Exactly. Distracting us, keeping us away from the true riches, that of Christ. And, Mary and Martha were debating. Martha needed to work. Food needed to be done. Dishes done. But Jesus said to Martha, Martha, Martha, Martha, Martha. Maybe you know a Martha. Mary's chosen that better thing. She's chosen the best thing to sit at my feet and to hear my word, and it's not gonna be taken from her, you know. So you prioritize. You prioritize and you do the best thing. What's the best I can do with my time, my talent, the treasure that God's given me? I wanna be flourishing in my walk and relationship with the Lord. He says, verse two, he said, I fed you with milk. When you're babes, I fed you with milk. And not with me, for hitherto you were not able to bear it, neither yet now are you able. You're still nursing. You're five years old, you're still nursing. At what age do you wean the child from the milk? We got we got churches in our community where people have been there twenty, thirty years, and they're still on the milk. It's milk. And a lot of it isn't even milk. A lot of it's psychology. A lot of it isn't the the beginning teachings of the Bible, that of that of salvation, that of the gospel, everybody says. Just preach the gospel. Well, we do preach the gospel. Gospel means good news. Prophecy is good news. Ties in with calling people to Christ. They've taken, they wiped out the word repentance and sin and hell, and everything's just a feel good message. They aren't even on milk. They're on a humanistic existential philosophy of being man centered. It's centered upon man, not upon Jesus Christ. Only time you bring in Jesus Christ is is that he's the genie you rub and then you get what you want, you know? No no asking the Lord, Lord, here am I. Use me like Isaiah. How would you use me, Lord? How did you make me? What are my gifts? How can I serve you, Lord? You're still nursing. And a nursing baby is consumed with himself. Totally consumed with, I'm gonna scream as loud as I can until I get what I want. In first Corinthians fourteen twenty, brethren, be not children in understanding how be it in malice be ye children, but in understanding be men. So grow up. Be men. Now, don't like the attack against men. I don't like it. I don't think it's profitable. Making fun of men, you know, the culture making fun of men. Now, some of you, you're angry at men. You wish they'd man up, grow up, whatever. I I don't I don't see it as productive to ridicule and and shame them and such, know. Come alongside. Try and help them. Try and try and get them to to grow spiritually. And if they're growing spiritually, what they do with their life is their business, not yours. You know? It doesn't matter if they're living at home. Doesn't matter if they're, you know, don't not married and don't have a bunch of kids or those it's their choice. Are they doing what God's calling to do spiritually? Not everybody's supposed to be married. And as the economic as the economics get tighter and tighter, it may be that we all have to, as families, live together longer to spread the wealth. Right? So don't be making fun of those and degradating those that have a different lifestyle than you or me. I I don't like it. I I I feel bad for them. I feel bad that the cultures reached that point. I mean, in the sixties when pornography was introduced, when the bible came out of the schools and prayer out of the schools, the the family began to be disrupted and messed up, and so the Hugh Hefners of life began to introduce independent an independence in the sexual revolution and such. And then also the the tax structure changed from the fifties to sixties where it became harder and harder to live off of one income, so women put into the into the workforce. And so a lot of that's contributed to where we are today where women can't trust men to be faithful in marriage, so they have to get their career because if that marriage doesn't laugh till death do we part, they're gonna have to be able to take care, you know, them and their children. We understand that, but that's a breakdown of society. And men that don't wanna be faithful, definitely that's a problem. So you look at it from a moral standpoint, from a biblical standpoint, but where we are today, it's a mess. And as I interview men and women, at the gym or whatever, I've been out of the loop for so long, it's on both sides. It's on the woman's side and the man's side. It's a mess. And so, be careful with that sort of a division because the devil wants to destroy families. The devil wants to denigrate marriage and having children and having a home, a godly Christian home. I mean, how does a woman, how does a man after 30 find a suitable person to marry? They tell you the pool is really small, very few available, huge carnality in the churches, Sleeping around and messing around, you know. You can't even go to church to find a suitable person to remarry. It's a mess out there. It's because of the carnality. Things are not as the way they should, and so this grow up being men and the guys that are doing that whole thing, it it a lot of the pastors that are playing off of that presently, I think it's a cheap shot. I think you need to move on and just move on to something else. So a 20 year old in diapers is not cute, especially if you gotta change them. God's word is milk, And I love the milk of the word. When we're preparing a message here at Calvary Bremerton, every week there's milk because we take into consideration there's new believers. There's people just starting out that need to hear the milk of the word. But we don't we don't cause the ones that have grown and are able to eat solid food to just simply be a part of a seeker friendly church that doesn't teach the full council of God. So every week, you're hearing a seeker sensitive entry level, you know, come to Christ, but there's no sin, there's no repentance, there's no hell, that kind of a come to Christ. Which is basically, as soon as I finish this verse up, I'm gonna show you how you can sign up and become a part of our electronic tithing program. That's really what it's about. Nickels and noses. Get new people signed up in into the bank account. That's what that's about. And, as long as you don't offend them, they'll keep giving you money. So let's not offend them. And you older Christians, we're gonna dry you up. And you guys aren't gonna hear the word of God. You're not gonna hear prophecy. You're only gonna every week, you're gonna hear psychology, self help, feel good messages with a little bit of milk in there. A little milk in there to try and tell you that I'm still teaching the bible. And so what happens is your marriage suffers after three, four years of that. Your wife hasn't been nourished and built up in the faith. Your family hasn't built up. Oh, they're in youth group and all that, but where do they go after youth group when they enter college? They don't have a working knowledge of the scriptures. They're not rooted and grounded in the scriptures. They can't debate with the evolutionists. They can't debate with anybody in the colleges because college is the bless me life. College is I want the stuff. But if they're rooted and grounded in the faith, God can bless them with the stuff, bless them with a good career, bless them with a good marriage, but it's biblically founded. The bible holds the the weight, the priority, Biblically based values rather than the secular based values go along to get along. And so the breakdown, again, of the society where they have a secular world view rather than a biblical world view, take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ. But we don't because we're pragmatic. Well, what works in the marketplace? How can I prosper in the marketplace? How can I Christianize the world and make it look clean? Make it look good? Make it look like a blessing from God? And so we're dummy down, having been taught the word of God. So we want milk, we want bread, we want meat, lots of meat. We don't want bugs. We don't want heresy. We don't want the leaven of the the pharisees, which is leaven or heresy, excuse me. We don't want aberrant teaching. And we want the honey. Psalm a 119, we want the honey. We we enjoy the sweetness of God's word. He says, how sweet are thy words unto my taste? Yea, sweeter than honey to my mouth. And then the writer of the Psalm, Psalm, 19 verse 10 says, sweeter than honey, sweeter than the honeycomb. God's word is so sweet. Jeremiah was instructed to take and swallow the scroll. Some of it was gonna be bitter. We're looking at quote unquote doom and gloom because some of the bible is bitter as it prophesies of the days that are coming. It's bitter. It's hard to swallow what's coming. Jesus said those days, the world is gonna see a day that it's never seen before and never see again. Catastrophic days ahead. That's a bitter pill to swallow. And that's why so many don't wanna go there. It's doom and gloom. But you gotta let people know the bad so they'll appreciate the good. Jesus is coming again. That's why we gotta let them know about sin and hell so that they'll appreciate the good. He's come to save you from the bad. You can't just show them the candy all the time, the sweet part of it. You gotta have a balanced approach, a balanced diet. I'm not gonna get through this first point. I'm aware of the clock. Oh my Lord, look at the time. Where's it going? This is a good topic here. Jesus said, feed my sheep. Tend my lambs. Feed them. Feed the lambs. What do you feed them? You feed them the word of God. In some or excuse me, in Job twenty three twelve, he says, I have esteemed the words of his mouth more than my necessary food. So you gotta have an appetite. Do you have an appetite for the word of God? If you don't have an appetite for the word of God, then you're going to be heaping up teachers having itching ears. You don't have an appetite for the word of God, you have an appetite to feel good messages, so you're gonna look for pastors who will tell you what you want to hear because after all, it's all about you. And they'll tickle you, and they'll teach you fables, and they'll give you doctrines of demons. You really wanna take your family to a place that's espousing doctrines of demons? Is that the appetite that you have? And then the application. James one twenty two, be doers of the word, not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. So be not deceived. Be a doer of the word, not a hearer only. It's not just the apprehension. Knowledge pops up, but love edifies. Active. Put the love into a verb. Action. Love. Use what God's teaching you to love one another and to love God. Apply God's word. The appetite for God's word. The appetite to know him. The application to be a doer of the word. The fool. The father in the home's a fool if he's not a doer of the word. He's building his home, his life upon sand. His life's gonna be exposed. His marriage is gonna be exposed. The first sign of trouble. Because he wasn't a doer of the word. Under pressure, many of us fall back to the default setting of our fallen and ademic nature under pressure. But we need to be dead. We need to mortify the deeds of the flesh. Keep that old man dead and walk in that newness of life and the power of the spirit to get past the temptation. And be a doer of the word. We build upon rock. There's stability. There's longevity. We're gonna make it through the storms. Our life, our marriage, our homes aren't gonna be wasted and wiped out. What's it profit a man to gain the whole world and lose his own soul or what would a man give in exchange for his life? That which is highly esteemed among men is an abomination unto God. You can't serve God and mammon. You can't serve God and money. It's the love of money that's the root of all evil. If riches increase, don't set your heart on it. How many of us have pursued and our children have pursued the career and the money and the stuff, but then our marriage falls apart. Our kids fall apart because we weren't doers of God's word. It's okay to have both, but make sure the main thing's the main thing, that Jesus is the foundation of your career, the foundation of your home, the foundation of your marriage. He's the boss. Every thought, everything you're gonna do goes through the filter of his word and the work of his spirit as you pray and ask him point blank, Lord, is this what you'd have me to do? Should I wait? Should I go? Should I not go? Should I move? Jay Inslee is making me crazy. He's making me crazy, man. Lord, should I move? Well, there's a Republican governor in state of Montana that's gonna send a kid to Canada. There's a Republican governor in Texas that's a globalist. He's getting away with it now, but they're all globalists, aren't they? So why don't you stay? This is your home. Who's gonna run you away from your home? Why don't you make your home better? Why don't you apply the word of God? Be a doer of the word, not a hearer only. In Mark four twenty four, take heed what you hear, with what measure you meet, it shall be measured to you and unto you that hear shall more be given. So what you hear in that service, don't be a selective here. Don't be a yeah, but. Don't say, well, that doesn't apply to me because I've already made up my mind. Why do you pray when you've already made up your mind? You just want God to stamp approval upon what you've already decided you're gonna do? We're gonna see that tomorrow night in Jeremiah 42. They want Jeremiah to pray and he prays for ten days waiting upon the Lord. The Lord tells him, stay. I'll bless you. They already decided to go to Egypt. They just wanna see if they could get, you know, Jeremiah and the Lord to stamp what they've already decided they're gonna do. So what's the point of praying then? Don't pray. Just go do what you're gonna do. Don't even come to church if you're not gonna do what God's telling you to do or revealing to you. Why even come to church then? What's the dance? You dancing with God? Be a doer of the word. And take heed. You're responsible. And what happens here in Mark four, if you don't apply what you've learned at this stage, five year old Christian, 10 year old Christian, if you're not gonna apply what you've learned at this point, you don't get any more. There's no growth until you apply that which you already learned. Take heed. Knowledge brings responsibility. For he that has to him shall be given, and he that has not from him should be taken that which he has. You want a constant flow? Be a doer of the word. Allow God to illumine your heart and mind and just obey. Simply obey what God's teaching you. Don't be a selective here. Why throw that out? That's not for me. Oh, it might be for you. Why is it not for you? Oh, take up your cross. Deny yourself, take up your cross. That's not for me. That's that's suffering. That's self denial. I'm I'm a Christian to indulge. I wanna be a part of the Bless Me Club, man. I want the Happy Meals. So not just apprehension, but growth speaks of application. You've gotta apply the truth. Alright. There's point number one. Who are you? The spiritual, the flourishing. Secondly, who are you? Those fellowshipping? Are you in fellowship? Verse three, for you, are you not carnal for whereas there is among you envying strife and divisions. Are you not carnal and walk as men? In chapter six, they're suing each other, they're so angry. Chapter five, there's immorality. They're fighting over the gifts too. The exercise of these gifts. They're very gifted, but they're doing it in a carnal fleshly manner. Your envy and strife and divisions, are you not carnal and walk as men? For while one say it I'm of Paul, another I'm of Apollos. Are you not carnal? So this carnality is leading to fighting rather than fellowshipping. Rather than being one and being bros and and being in a church where you can love one another, there's little factions and heresies and strifes and envyings and backbiting and such. Boy, I've been in a church like that. That's a sick church. And I was the leader of that sick church. And I take full responsibility. I mean, it it's just overwhelming. It's overwhelming to be a part of that. But to be a part of what God's doing in your lives today, watching the things of the world fade away, watching us get older and older now, did I say older? Some of you are older and older. We're gonna be with Jesus soon. And all these things of the world are fading away, you know. We've enjoyed what the Lord's blessed us with certainly, but we can't hold on to it. We can't keep it. You know, we can't keep our grandkids. We can't keep the best things that God has for us in this life that are fading away. And yet the best is yet to come in heaven. Save your fork, the best is yet to come at those Christian potlucks. Right? Fellowshipping, spirit filled, next two forty two. Now if you wanna know at Calvary Chapel, what our program is, what's your program? Alright. Four part star program. Acts two forty two. They continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine. What's that mean? The early church, filled with the spirit, they were flourishing because they were men and women of the word. They were studying the old testament and the new testament that which was written, made available. Priority one, they were men and women of the word. They continued. They were going from house to house with bible studies. They couldn't get enough of the word of God. They had an appetite, a voracious appetite for the word of God. Does that describe you? They continued steadfastly in the word of God, in the apostles' doctrine, and then also in fellowship. When I was a partier and you leave your friends, it's so strange, you gain so many new friends, so quickly too, in a big church in California you do. I'm sorry for those of you that are attending in Kitsap County where it's difficult to make friends as Christians, you know, spirit filled Christians. But when I came up, they were everywhere. Everywhere. Just everything was exploding, you know. And I don't know how long they walked with the Lord, but the joy of the Lord was our strength. And it was exciting, far more fun. I never I never did the bar scene, the club scene. I did the bible study scene. And when I got married, we did bible studies in home still in addition to going to church because it's a part of our life. The fellowship, being around Christians. Then when many of our family members began to get saved, our our family time, our holidays were even greater because now we're fellowshipping as brothers and sisters, you know, in the Lord, and it's just so rich. And thirdly, in the breaking of bread, which would be worship, partaking of communion, that of worship. So the word of God fellowship, worship, and fourthly, prayer. A time of prayer. You guys are prayer warriors. People are getting healed because you don't hear, you do. You pray. And that's why these little cards, these little things, they're good to they're good to keep and put for your devotion in the morning and just go down this list and add to it of people you wanna pray for. And I know you're praying for me and my family and my grandkids, my little little Ruthie two years ago almost died. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man, of a righteous woman avails much. Be when men and women of prayer. Bury one another's burdens and so fulfill the law of Christ, which is love. The carnality speaks of envy, heated selfishness, strife of fighting, of quarreling, fighting over things that don't even matter. Divisions speaks of disunion, sedition, divide and conquer. The strategy of the enemy sometimes is a frontal attack, which is overt persecution against the church, kill them. The other one is to join the church, and from within the tares among the wheat divide, gossip, slander. The most destructive activity in a church is gossip. Using the tongue, an unruly member to tear and talk bad about one another. That will destroy fellowship faster than anything. You have to develop trust with one another. If you tell me something, it will make it into the sermon. You can trust me. There's no confidentiality with me. We're a body of believers. I got the shirt to prove it. Somebody bought me the shirt. But you know what I mean. There's certain intimacy, levels of intimacy. Some things are public, some things are private, And, some of the things closest to your heart, wanna be able to speak and talk to people about. Some people I know, they're very, very private people. They don't want anyone, you know, on Facebook, you look at them and everything's perfect in their life. Even their pictures are all doctored and everything. They don't have wrinkles yet, just everything looks just so perfect. It's like, wow. Wow. You know, they're kids, nobody's ever been to rehab. There's no drunks in their lineage. There's nothing. It's just wow. Wow. Wow. You know? But that's not true, is it? It's not true. So as time goes on, we we, as one part of the body suffers, we all suffer. We go through this suffering of our children, grandchildren, our husbands, our wives, divorces, babies, all this stuff in the body of Christ. We're able to point one another to Jesus, the great physician to get us through all this. And that which we've learned, we're able to comfort others also, that which he taught us while we were going through it. And so it's it's exciting that I don't need to turn to artificial intelligence and ask them, what should I do? That I can grow straight to the throne of God. That I have access to the throne of grace to find help, you know, in my time of need, and that you have experienced similar things and the pain and the empathy that that comes with that and and, and I can trust you that you'll pray for me, that you'll pray for my family, and and and you trust me that we'll pray for you. The dividing. I'm of Paul, and another, I'm of Apollos. Are you not carnal, he says, so the factions develop. We exalt men instead of Jesus. I'm of Rick Baudry. No, you would never say that. I'm of Paul. I'm of Jack. I'm of Greg. You have your Christian celebrities. I'm of Joel, you know. All your celebrities out there. And you're thinking that guy, man, he's really got it together. And man, that guy, you know, I'm gonna I'm gonna I'm gonna hook up with him, man, because the blessings that are in his life will flow into my life too, you know. Oh, man. He's the greatest, know, the celebrity leaders. Trump will save us. Trump will save us. If you think Trump will save us, and I know I'm already losing people in this election cycle, the stuff I'm posting. People really, really believe that Trump's gonna save them. And when I say anything contrary, they're angry. They gotta get away. Well, I want to say to anybody that's listening, anybody that's left, I want you to watch Napoleon Dynamite and vote for Pedro. Because Pedro can grow a mustache in in eighth grade. He's got a mustache in eighth grade. Can you believe that? Why couldn't a guy like that lead us? Pedro, vote for Pedro. I'm gonna keep making fun of it till people wake up. He's the warp speed jab guy. He's a globalist. Find somebody better. Don't get caught in the lies. Shame on you. You're still here because you're not in there. So Rick, who are we supposed to vote for? The lesser of two evils? No. Where's the bible say that? Where does it say that? The lesser are two. Who could be more evil than 33,000,000 people dead and not admit what they did? What could be more evil than that? And as Catherine Austin the fifth said in the article I posted last week, and if you believe he didn't know, then he's too incompetent to lead. You can't have it both ways. You can't have fourth degree, you know, QAnon deep chess, and then have the whole thing stolen and act like January 6 never happened. Vote for Pedro. That's what I'm gonna tell him. Vote for Pedro. It's a dog and pony show. Jesus is coming. Yes. It's purposely like this. The Lord is setting the stage to take America down. It's over. Put a fork in it. The economy is gonna crash at any time this year. It's coming. And when that dollar crashes, it's over. It we're gone. I mean, don't you see the handwriting on the wall? Don't you see these fairies? These generals wearing red high heel shoes and sex mess, you know, and you're minister of health, you know, there are men now women and stuff. Give me a break, western culture. You're done. You didn't have enough saltiness to preserve the good. Bill Gates and Soros and these guys with impunity are destroying your country in your face, laughing at you, and there's no pushback. We don't know what to do. Well, that's what Jehoshaphat said. Lord, we don't have the power neither know we what to do, but our eyes are on you. There you go. That's where you wanna be now. You've reached the end of your human reasoning. Turn to God, America. Turn back to God and don't play games. Don't do the dance, the frilly Pollyanna dance. Turn to God in repentance. There's your answer. There's your solution. Otherwise, vote for Pedro. Just watch Napoleon Dynamite. I watched it with my grandkids. It's hilarious. Probably one of the best movies ever. So Jesus prayed for us to be one in John seventeen twenty one through 23, to enjoy communion, to enjoy fellowship with the true and living God. In Galatians five nineteen, now the works of the flesh are manifest which are these. So Paul's gonna contrast flesh and spirit now. Galatians five. If these characterize who you are, then you're in the flesh. When I get angry or do something wrong, I say, I got in the flesh. I didn't lose my salvation, I just got in the flesh. The flesh is still there. Now, there's another important distinction I'll bring out here. So now the works of the flesh are manifest which are these, adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness. So if you look upon a woman or man with less in your heart, you've already committed it. Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies. Verse 21, envy and murders, drunkenness, revelings, and the such alike of which I've I tell you before as I've told you also in times past that they which do such things, notice it says, shall not inherit the kingdom of God. Now I was in a class once where the guy said, that just mean loss of reward. You're still saved. No. No. No. No. No. It's indicative of an unbeliever. You will not inherit the kingdom of God, period, if this characterizes your life. You're practicing. So you take them to first John, it doesn't mean you don't sin, but you're not living a lifestyle of sin. Verse 22. Wow. It's getting close. But the fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, long suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance, against such there is no law. And they that are Christ have crucified the flesh with the affections and lust. If we live in the spirit, let us also walk in the spirit. Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another. Churches can be brutal places. So unloving, so unkind. I have a joke that I say to people this way. If you go into a bar and you're as rude to me as people are in church, you get knocked off your barstool. But in church, people think they can get say and do anything and that they're safe. They won't get a whooping. Ain't that true? What makes you think you can use your tongue to do so much destructive, brutal, brutal things that we say to each other? But people at the bars have greater fear of retribution than we in the church, the fear of God. The spiritual are flourishing, they're fellowshipping, thirdly and finally, their fellow workers. We're working for the Lord. Verse five, who then is Paul? Who is Apollos? But ministers by whom you believed even as the Lord gave to every man. So Apollos, he's a great orator. He's interprets things in an allegorical manner. He's from Alexandria Egypt. He's very very good in the old testament. Aquila and Priscilla had to help him, you know, clean up some of his things in the baptism of John and such. But a guy that was used mightily in the area of Corinth, and Paul's saying, I watered Apollos I planted Apollos watered, God brings the increase. So don't divide the two of us. We're working together. We're fellow workers. That word minister means, it means a menial worker, a table waiter, a busboy, is what that means. You see Jesus girding himself, putting a a tie on his on his outward robe and and getting a basin of water and washing the disciples' feet is the picture there of that of servanthood. And so, when was the last time you saw a busboy immortalized? Who would worship a shovel? Who would worship a hammer or a screwdriver? Rick, you're a screwdriver. That's who you are, Rick. Nothing special about you. But if you go to Harbor Freight and get some power tools, that that alright. Now, takes a breath away from me, you know? Some power tools. Just a tool. You're just a tool. But in the hands of God, he can do great things with you. As a hammer, as a screwdriver, as a shovel, as a rake, as a hoe, as a physician scalpel. God can do great things when we yield to him as our master. So we have to refocus. We have to give God the glory. Get your eyes off of Trump. Get your eyes off of the Christian celebrities. Get your eyes back onto Jesus and God will do great things. I have planted Apollo's water, but God gave the increase. So then neither is he that plants anything, neither he that waters, but God that gives the increase. God shares his glory with no man. God's the giver of life. God breathed life into Adam. When we were dead in our sins and trespasses, he quickened us. He raised us from the dead. Verse eight. Now he that plants and he that waters are one. And every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labor. So not divided, you're fellowshipping, you're workers together. You're you're striving, you're working, you're expending energy that Jesus get the glory. That his name be praised. That people begin to write songs about him. Rewarded for faithfulness, not worldly success. We wanna hear the Lord say in Matthew twenty five twenty one, well done thou good and faithful servants. You've been faithful over a few things. I'm gonna make you rulers over much. And then he says, I will make thee ruler over many things, enter thou into the joy of the Lord. I like in Hebrews six ten, it says, for God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labor of love. The Lord sees everything you do in secret. He said to not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, or right hand or left hand. You go to pray. Don't pray outside like the Pharisees. Pray in your prayer closet. You give, you give anonymously. You do things in secret, the Lord reward you openly. He's not unrighteous to forget or not see those things. You're not doing those things to be seen of men. You're doing these things in response to God's goodness in your life. You just have to give and you wanna give back to him. You're so grateful for what he's given. So God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labor of love, which you have showed towards his name and that you have ministered to the saints and do minister. Verse nine. For we are laborers together with God, you're God's husbandry, you're God's building. And so he uses a picture of a field, he uses a picture of a building to edify, to build up, to strengthen. We're all working together to build up the body of Christ. So God sees your labor, your service, the fruit of your life. He has privileged you to be his fellow worker. We're serving the Lord. And we have the privilege of serving him in his field, as he builds his church. It's not time to be carnal. It's time to grow up. It's time to stop whining. If you have a whining problem, are you a whiner? Let me ask your wife. Are you a whiner? That's unfair, isn't it? The reason you're whining is you're not dead. You're not crucified. If you've noticed people that are crucified when they're dead, dead men don't whine. There's too much of you still alive. How do I know? I could poke you and, ah. Well, if you're dead, there's no ah. You're dead. Dead men don't whine. He must increase, I must decrease. No longer I live in, but Christ living through me. Right? I'm crucified with Christ. So quit the whining. Quit the crying. Quit the murmuring like the children of Israel in the wilderness. Murmuring. There's much work to do. Oh, man. I got ten minutes. Much work. Grow in grace in the knowledge of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ. Now, in the book of second Chronicles sixteen nine, it's Hananiah, the prophet, that told Asa that the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth to show himself strong on behalf of a man whose heart is perfect toward God. And then he goes on to say, here and thou has done foolishly, therefore from henceforth thou shall have wars. Trusting in men brings wars. You're bringing wars upon yourself, Asa. I'm of Marx. I'm of Mao. I'm gonna trust in Karl Marx. I'm gonna trust in Lenin. I'm gonna trust in Stalin. I'm gonna trust in Hitler. And they do. They're elected. These guys are elected every time. They're elected. And Obama's elected twice, and then he usurps it a third time through the Biden. And a fourth time through who? They're elected. People don't stop him. I'm of Mohammed. King Asa, you relied upon the flesh rather than yielding to God's spirit. He missed the opportunity to see God move mightily through his life. He operated in the flesh rather than the spirit. What happened? King Asa, when he was small in the sight, when he was when he was little, when he first started out, he had ten years of of peace and prosperity there. He went throughout the land and he got rid of all the Astrith poles, the Aphrodite poles, he got rid of all the Sodomites, he threw them out of the land. He cleaned up even to the point of his own mother or grandmother. She had a, an idol that she had in the groves and he went there and grabbed it and ground it up and put it in the Brook Kidron. Took it away from his mom. He he was equal opportunity king. And God blessed. And then a test came. A test came where this, this guy named Zira. Well, was the first test. This guy named Zira when he's younger, came with a million man army. And Ace at the time had 580,000, but Zero also had 300,000 chariots. And Ace knew he was outmanned, outgunned, out everything, and he went to the Lord. Lord, it's easy for you to say by few or by many. It's it's no difference with you, Lord. His eyes were upon the Lord. Lord did a great thing and wiped out those Ethiopians. They got the spoil, the whole thing. Then he went through a time of prosperity, and then there came a a test where king Basha of the North, the Northern Kingdom wanted to go to war with with Judah, with the Southern Kingdom, and began to build a city to inhibit people coming and going from Jerusalem where king Asa was. And so the mistake the mistake king Asa made was rather than praying to God and appealing to him like he did with with the Ethiopians when they were attacking, when they were a threat. He says, I'm gonna go in a league with the king of Syria with Ben Haydad. I'm gonna give Ben Haydad a bunch of money and all, and he'll go and attack, you know, Basha. And when that happens, I'll go over and grab all the stuff from Rephaim, all the that they were building that city, and I'll bring it down and everything, and and we'll work it that way. And that's why Hananiah, the prophet says, you know, the stage was set. God wants the glory. God wanted to show himself strong on your behalf. When you were small in your sight, when you're little, you cried out to God and he did great things. When you got big for your britches and prosperous and everything great, now you're looking for men. You're trusting in men. You're gonna trust in Ben Haydad? Had you trusted in me, I'd have given you Ben Haydad. I'd have given your enemy Ben Haydad into your hand and Basha. But you didn't trust in me. You limited me. So now, you're gonna get sick, dude. So he became sick in his feet. And Hananiah, the prophet, let him know, cry out to God. He wouldn't. He was so angry at God that he wouldn't cry out to God. He spent all of his money, you know, on the physicians, the doctors. Nothing against doctors, but cry out to God too. God and the doctors. Right? And so the Lord allowed the sickness to get worse and worse, and he wound up dying. In his fierce anger against God and his pride against God, he wouldn't repent. He wouldn't cry out to God. And God said, hey, the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth to show himself strong on behalf of a man whose heart is perfect toward God. But you're a man of the flesh. And when you trust another man, you create wars, afflictions, problems within the church, problems within your culture, divide and conquered, prideful rebellion against God. When you turn to doctor Fauci, when you turn to doctor Brits, I'm a doctor after all. I've got the smock. I've got it all. Follow the science. How many times we heard that? You got thirty three million people dead and maimed in America as a result thereof. They're admitting they're wrong. You trusted in men. You trusted in the media. You trusted in everything but God. It was just a little test. Why'd you shut your church down? It's just a little test. Why'd you quit worshiping? It's just a little test. It's a test of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. It's a test of David and Goliath. Where's your faith? Why are you so overwhelmed with fear? It's just a little thing. Who are you? Are you the carnal man, the natural man, or the spiritual? For the eyes of the Lord, they run to and fro throughout the whole earth to show himself strong on behalf of a man, a woman, a church whose heart is undivided. Whose heart is perfect toward God. A spirit filled man, woman, church, family. Be being filled with the Holy Spirit. Finish strong. The stage is set. The stage is set. The time we're living in. We passed some good tests. Like Asa passed some good tests when he's young in the Lord. Now we're going a little bit further. It's gonna get a little grittier. It's gonna get a little harder. But God's saying, trust me. I got this. Don't trust in men. Don't be fooled. Don't be tricked by men. Don't trust in yourself either. Trust in me. Because God's setting the stage. He wants to show himself strong on behalf of a man, a woman, a church, a family whose heart is perfect toward God. He's looking for that man. He's looking for that woman, that family, that church. He's looking all over America. Americans can't find one man. They can't find one man to lead them. They can't find one woman to lead them. God forbid that Kamala get there, whatever her name is. Right? Or what's that other one? That that linebacker? Michael? God forbid. They that trust in lying vanities, they forsake their own mercy. Don't trust in the lying vanities. Don't trust in these pretenders. I would say it's like living in such a fantasy that rather than voting for God, that you'd vote for Pedro because he's got a mustache when he's in the eighth grade. Vote for Pedro. Who are you?
