Right. Live from Bremerton. It's Monday night. We are here tonight in Bremerton to study Genesis chapter eight, and we're gonna open with prayer and then a sweet time of worship, and then, then we'll get into the study. Father, we come before you. We lift up Christie, and, Lord, we pray if she's not out of surgery yet, Lord, we pray that she would be soon and everything would go well, no complications, and that she would be coming out of the anesthesia and just be so excited that she's got this behind her, and we just pray that you heal her totally and completely. Lord, we lift up Allen's arm and pray you continue to fill it in and heal him, and we lift up Shannon Goodson. You help her. She goes to the doctor and try to figure out what's going on with her, And we lift up, Finley, Lord, and, we just pray for him that, you continue to heal his legs and his hips and his body, and he's been so traumatized, Saturday with that accident, Lord, and we just thank you he's come through the surgeries. And we just pray for him and his family that you provide for them, protect them, heal him, and, just pour out your holy spirit. We lift up little Calvary Bremerton and pray that we could be a light and a blessing. And we pray, Lord, that you'd anoint and bless the time as we study Genesis eight tonight. In Jesus' name, amen. Amen. Amen. I sing praises to your Oh, Lord. Praises to your name. Oh, Lord. For your name is great Amen. Amen. Praise the Lord. We're in Genesis chapter eight. Genesis chapter eight. Alright. Father, once again, we just come before you and we ask you to be our teacher, that you'd open the scriptures to our understanding, Lord, that we would be able to give an answer to people that are skeptical, that are wondering what's what Lord and that we could take the global flood that's known by over 200 cultures historically, universal flood Lord, that we'd be able to navigate the scriptures and be able to explain as best we can, Lord, how it happened. And so teach us, Help us to understand the pertinent most important aspects of this and, be able to give an answer to hope... People of the hope that's within us, Lord. That, Lord, you continue to prophecy and let us know, what's coming as we as we read in your word, the prophecies that are there that are being fulfilled. And and Lord we pray that we'd be students of prophecy and be aware and not be those that are skeptics and not be those that fall into that trap of everything continues as it always has and and so Lord help help us to have this foundational, that of creation, that of the flood and so forth. So blessed, we pray in Jesus' name. Amen. Amen. Alright. So does anybody know if they found the ark? No. No. They haven't. Okay. Alright. Lot of talk about the ark. They found the ark. Right? Okay. I just thought maybe you guys did some homework. Okay. So chapter seven verse 24, and the waters prevailed upon the earth a hundred and fifty days. Now in, second Peter three verse six seven eight nine, right in there, it talks about they all perished. Everything that was breathing perished. Everything, the animals, the dinosaurs, the people. In chapter six, we're told that the thoughts and intents of man's heart were only evil continually and repented God that he'd made man. So he commissioned a guy named Noah. Noah who, was perfect in his generations, meaning his genetic code was intact, that he, did not have a polluted or corrupted DNA. The reason being this would be important is because of Genesis three fifteen, the seed of the woman, the son of man, the last Adam would be a human being, the son of man, not an angel as Hebrews one says, and so not a half breed, not half angel and half human being and and so that was very important. So Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord, we're told, but he also was perfect in his generations, in his DNA. Shemham and Japheth, his sons, they too and missus Noah had good DNA. Now some guys, as I've been continuing to read and and study this about the Nephilim, they speculate because when it says before and after, they speculate that maybe one of the wives, maybe Ham's wife, had a little bit of squiggly in there of an Nephilim somewhere in there, and that after the flood she was able to pass on the, you know, the sons of God, the titans, the giants, the the the Nephilim. And so we don't know that. My thought was always that the angels that did it got incarcerated afterwards and then that some of them did it again. And so with Joshua and, with David, with Goliath, and the giants that were still thereafter, you know, and maybe there's some still today, some are saying. Maybe that woman in that red dress that looked like a man with an Adam's apple, the Dell the Dell woman, maybe she's really a man or a Nephilim, you know. I don't know. Maybe they still walk among us but her eyes and her face and everything was tweaking, you know. So a lot of crazy stuff going on. So anyway, prevailed and, Peter reminds us that they perished and, so that first generation. So God remembered Noah. Now it says God remembered Noah. God's got a really good memory. It isn't that he forgot him, it's that God's faithful and he's coming back to Adam to fulfill that what he promised and and it's important for you if you're in a trial, if you're in a difficult place, maybe you feel stuck in an ark, it's not going anywhere, and and you're wondering where's God? Possibly Noah hasn't been talking to God, you know, every day in that ark, you know, and they've been doing the best they can with the flat screen TVs and gaming and watching football but but they just... They don't know what to do with themselves and and wondering if God's forgot us here. It's been a hundred and fifty days of the waters seeping out of the ground, the bursting forth and forty days of rain and the whole thing and, and the water's bursting forth. And so the continuing to to cover the earth and to come above the mountains 22 feet above every every mountain peak and all and the pre flood mountaintops and post flood mountaintops which the tectonic plates as they push... Would push up air at about 17,000 feet, and so the mountain ranges and the Grand Canyon and a lot of it dug out and and the whole thing as the water is being abated. So God remembered Noah and remember he hasn't forgotten you. God has not forgotten you, the place you're at and and every living thing and all the cattle that was in the ark and God made a a wind and the Hebrew word is and it's the same word, that we use for the Holy Spirit in the Hebrew and the same moving of the wind in Genesis one verse two, where he divided the the water from the land. And in the... So a moving of the Holy Spirit, a moving of the wind, and it's interesting in Genesis one verse two when, when he uses the wind, and the earth was without form and void and darkness upon the face of the deep and the spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. The holy spirit moving the, moving the hovering over and the wind being moved. And in verse nine, God said, let the waters under the heaven be gathered together into one place and let the dry land appear and it was so. And so this evaporation that was taking place and this is before the sun as God is using the wind there to expose the waters. The waters were covering the earth. And so again, now the waters are covering the earth, completely covered and God's gonna use the wind to abate the water that's covering the earth. And so the earth... Top the top of the earth is gonna be changed. It's gonna be way different than it was before, and the gathering of the water, the seas, and everything. And a lot of the water is gonna seep back down in to the earth and it's gonna take a while and so Noah's gonna have to be very patient. And so with him in the ark and God made the wind to pass over the earth and the waters subsided. And so the fountains also of the deep and the windows of heaven, so two sources of water, the fountains of the deep and the windows of heaven. We talked about the firmament. We talked about the Walt Brown tatonic plate theory of the water bursting up like a hydrogen bomb and going on up into space and and then coming back down. But it it it... There's just no way around it there. Even though we don't believe in a canopy theory, there's a source of water that's coming from the heavens and an expanse of the atmosphere, however you wanna describe it. And and so I've been wrestling with that too. I wrestle with these kind of things. So the fountains also of the deep and the windows of heaven were stopped, and the rain from heaven was, restrained. So after the flood, obviously, we're gonna have a cycle of rain, evaporation, precipitation, and seasons and the whole thing. But before the flood, the earth was watered with a mist like a fog with with water coming up in the Garden Of Eden out of the ground and, so it hadn't rained. So remember, Noah is describing, the emphasis a hundred and twenty years of preaching and building that ark, that barge that people need to get into the boat, get into the ark, get into Jesus Christ, and and the people negated. They they didn't. And we see in John three that the reason people don't do it is because they love darkness, not because they don't understand. Now they may know they're, you know, completely... You know, they could be mocking him because it never rained before. They didn't know about the water that's gonna come up from underneath either, but, the Lord can give them a measure of faith to act on that faith like you and I do, like we have, like we continue to do. Now in Psalm a hundred and four hundred and four verse six through nine, thou covered it with the deep as with a garment, the water stood above the mountains. At thy rebuke, they fled at the voice of your thunder, they hastened away. They go up by the mountains, they go down by the valleys under the place which thou hast founded for them. Thou hast set abound that they may not pass over that they turn not again to cover the earth. He sends the springs into the valleys which run among the hills. They give drink to every beast of the field and the wild donkeys quench their thirst. By them shall the fowls of the heavens have their habitation that sing among the branches. He watches the hills from his chamber, the earth is satisfied with the fruit of thy works. He caused the grass to grow for the cattle and the herb for the service of man that he may bring forth food out of the earth and wine that makes glad the heart of man and oil to make his face to shine and bread which strengthens man's heart. The trees of the Lord are full of sap, the cedars of Lebanon which he has planted. The birds make their nests. As for the stork, the fir trees are her house. The high hills are a refuge for the wild goats and the rocks for the badgers. He appointed the moon for the seasons. The sun knows it's going down. Thou make us darkness and it is night wherein the beasts of the forest do creep forth. The young lions roar after their prey and seek their food from God. The sun rises, they gather themselves together, they lay down in their dens, men go forth unto his work and to his labor until the evening. Oh lord, how manifold are thy works and your wisdom thou has made them all. The earth is full of your riches. So is this great and wild wide sea wherein thou hast... Every... All the creeping things innumerable, the small and great beasts. There's no... There go the ships. There is that Leviathan which thou has made to play therein. And so, these all wait upon thee, thou mayest give them their food in due season that which thou givest them, they gather and open thine hand, they are filled with good. Thou has hid thy face, they are troubled. Thou takest away their breath, they die and return to their dust. Thou sends forth the spirit they are created and thou renews the face of the earth continually sustained. The glory of the Lord shall shall endure forever and the Lord shall rejoice in his works. He looketh on the earth and it it trembles. He touches the hills and they smoke. I will sing unto the Lord as long as I live. I will sing praises to my God while I have my being. My meditation of him shall be sweet. I will be glad in the Lord. Let the sinners be consumed out of all the earth and let the wicked be no more. Blessed thou the Lord, oh my soul. Praise the Lord. So the sinners were consumed out of the earth, based upon the the drowning, you know, with the flood taking place. And just a beautiful psalm describing, the flood, describing, the cycle of of the seasons and the moon and the stars and all and God's creation and so Noah gets to leave the ark and start over. They're gonna... Animals are gonna go out and they're gonna be fruitful multiply like God told Adam and Adam and... Excuse me, Noah and missus Noah and Shemham j fifth and their wives are gonna have a chance to go and be productive and repopulate the planet. So eight people are gonna start out all over again. And so... The waters return from off the earth continually and after the end of the hundred and fifty days, so we saw that in verse 24, the waters were abated. And, and the ark rested in the seventh month, on the seventeenth day of the month, upon the Mountain Of Ararat. And somebody wanna read Jeremiah fifty one twenty seven? And somebody wanna read Isaiah thirty seven thirty eight? And Thirty seven twenty eight, you said? 37. Let me see here. I I think it looks like a three thirty seven thirty eight. 38? Yep. I got Isaiah. And how about John nineteen thirty? John nineteen thirty, I think it is. And somebody else can do Exodus twelve two, and somebody else first Corinthians five verse seven. Okay. And let's see. Genesis two twenty three. Let's see here. Okay. Alright. So Jeremiah fifty one twenty seven. I can read that. Okay. Set ye up a standard in the land. Blow the trumpet among the nations. Prepare the nations against her. Call together against her the kingdoms of Ararat, Minnie and Ashkenaz appoint a captain against her, cause the horses to come up as the rough caterpillars. So that verse is gonna be applied to verse four where we see the ark rested on the mountain range of Ararat. Isaiah thirty seven thirty eight. Hey. A lot of names here, so I'm probably gonna butcher it. It says... And it says, and it came to pass as he was worshiping in the house of Nis rak, his god, that Admalek and Shezar, his sons, smote him with the sword, and they escaped into the land of Amerenai and Ashaddon, his son reassigned in his stead. Thank you. And and the ark rested in the seventh month, so the... These dates are significant. The seventh month's gonna wind up being the first month of the Jewish calendar. These years are three hundred and sixty day years based upon the Jewish lunar calendar. So if we're trying to track how long, you know, they were in the ark, how long it lasted, One of the easiest ways to say is it was a year. He went from year 600 to 06/2001, three hundred sixty five days if you add the, you know, the leap year part into it. Some are saying, you know, three hundred and seventy one days, so a little bit more over, you know, a three hundred sixty five day year. But these dates are significant because we'll see that, Exodus twelve two, that the Passover that, Sean's gonna read starts on this day, and and three days later on the seventeenth that the fourteenth day of the month the Passover is, and the seventeenth day is when Jesus rose from the dead. So when we look at rest, Jesus is our rest. Noah's name means rest, and and so come on to me all you that labor in here. He said, come into the ark. Right? Alright. So some play on words there. So it rested the seventh day of the seventh month, a hundred and fifty days and the waters abated and rest the seventh seventh month, the seventeenth day of the month upon the Mountains Of Ararat. So... And the waters decreased continually until the tenth month in the tenth month on the first day of the month where the tops of the mountains seen and it came to pass that the end of forty days that Noah opened the windows of the ark which he had made. So go ahead, Sean, and read Exodus 12 verse two. This month shall be your beginning of months. It shall be the first month of the year to you. Okay. So the the, first month became the... The seventh month became the first month unto them for Passover. They're having the Passover, and the Passover lamb is killed on the fourteenth day of Nisan, which is the day that Jesus was crucified. And then three days later, on the seventeenth, is the resurrection. Okay? So if you wanna tie that together. Tenth month, first day of the month were the tops of the mountains seen. And then first Corinthians five verse seven talks about how they had to purge out the old leaven, and so this is a whole new beginning, whole new time frame of purging out the old leaven and entering into the new. And and then in John 19 verse 30, Jesus said, it is finished. So the work is finished, and now comes the, his burial, death, burial, resurrection. So the work is finished. God's God's finished the work of of judging the world. Mhmm. The sin's been paid for. It is finished. And and now on the seventeenth day of the month. Passover lamb's killed on the on the fourteenth of Nisan and then on the seventeenth, three days later. And that's when Jesus died was on the the the fourteenth and as a Passover lamb. Alright. Does that make any sense? You can Mhmm. You can continue to to look at it. So the waters, decreased continually until the tenth month and the tenth month of the first day of the month where the tops of the mountain seen. And it came to pass at the end of the forty days that Noah opened the windows of the ark which he had made. So now Noah is gonna test. He's gonna put a test forth with ravens and with doves and he's not gonna just, woo hoo. Let's get out of here, you know, and just jump off and make little rowboats and hang on to trees or, you know, whatever. He's gonna he's gonna stay in there until he absolutely knows. So at this point, the Lord's not speaking to Noah. Noah's using what we would call what? Intuition. Time. Common sense. Yeah. Wisdom. Right? Now that first bird, that raven, is a unclean bird. Right? And an unclean bird that doesn't come back, why wouldn't that unclean bird not come back? Nothing to eat. No filthy nasty dead stuff to eat. Well, doesn't come back because there's carcasses floating and it feels it feels no problem of floating down there and and starting to munch on dead floating carcasses on the surface. Right? The dove is a clean bird, doesn't want no part of dead carcasses. Right? No part at all. And and also the the dove represents peace. Right? The dove also represents the holy spirit. The holy spirit came down upon Jesus like a dove. Right? And the shape of a dove. And so the the Holy Spirit's looking down at the earth, and and it's like, hey. This is not my home, not where I'm gonna go. And the doves, they mate they mate for a a lifetime. They're very clean birds. They secrete oils that keep them clean. They eat clean. And, and eventually, this dove's gonna come back with a leaf of a fig tree, you know, in its mouth, which is a symbol people use for peace, not a big branch like like, people tried to point out. Now in first Kings seventeen four, four through six, 46, Elijah was fed by ravens. Remember? Somebody wanna read it? And Luke twelve twenty four. Somebody read Luke twelve twenty four and somebody else read first Kings 17. Might be four through six or 46. I got a four dot six. But you know the story. Elijah was tired. He'd run away from Jezebel, and and he needs sustenance. And so when we look at us, when we run out of gas, we ask the question, god made us body, soul, and spirit. And so is my body run down? I just, you know, did a radical thing against the 450 prophets of Baal, and I could I could subsist on food for forty days if God miraculously allows me to, like Elijah. But but physiologically, see that Jesus John four was weary and he was thirsty. So these bodies have appetites, these bodies need rest, these bodies need proper food and all that. So when we're counseling or evaluating why I feel so sluggish or what's going on, we evaluate physiologically. We say, what have I been eating? Have I been sleeping? Did I get any exercise? Have I been walking? Have I been getting any sunshine? So you don't wanna bypass the physiological part that may affect your emotional part, the center of your mind, your will, your emotion, your mood swings and stuff. So then we we analyze that and then spiritually, the most important part about being a spiritual to seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness. And so when we look at Elijah, we can evaluate how the great physician, was seeking to restore his prophet who was a little delusional. I'm the only one left. You know? Right? I'm the only one that's been faithful to you. And God says, no, I've got 7,000 that haven't bowed their knee to the prophet bell. Right? But it's interesting the Lord uses an unclean bird, a raven, to bring salads to, Elijah. Right? Did he use a bunny to bring salads or a raven to bring meat? Meat. Carnivore. Right? And like we said, when Jesus was cooking some fish along the Sea Of Galilee, caught any fish? No. Children come and dine. He's broiling fish protein. Right? Nothing wrong with the salad. I like salads, but I just love it where... And when we move on through here, when... Since we're on the topic of meat, at least I am. In verse 20, when Noah builds an altar, the Lord says it's a sweet smelling savor. I think Jesus loves a good grilling. Good grilling. Right? The smell, the aroma coming off that grill. Right? I love it. Alright. So just a side note. Okay. So first Kings seventeen four through six. Okay. It shall be that thou shalt drink of the brook that I have commanded the ravens to feed thee there. So he went and did according unto the word of the Lord, for he went and dwelt by the Brook Cherith that is before Jordan. And the ravens brought him bread and flesh in the morning and bread and flesh in the evening, and he drank with the brook. I don't know how that bread, but they they brought him some bread. They probably went to the trash heap of someone and grabbed their old bread or whatever. Right? And cardin... You know, ravenous birds. And then Luke twelve twenty four says that God feeds the ravens. Right? Mhmm. And they're unclean. Right? But God still cares for the birds. He cares for the ravens and all, able to use the ravens in that way. And so Noah's gonna test and he sent forth the raven, this is first test, which went forth to and fro until the waters were dried up from off the earth. So this is a scavenger bird, an unclean bird according to Leviticus eleven fifteen. And and he also sent forth a dove from from him to see the waters were abated from off the face of the ground. So he's he's waiting to see if, you know, what'll happen. Is there any trees that are exposed? Are there any trees that are still, you know, there? Any vegetation? Doesn't quite know. I don't know if it was foggy, if he could see, apparently, visually. He hasn't taken the top off the roof yet to leave, but sending these birds out. And and so from the dove, him to see if the waters were abated from off the face of the ground. But the dove found no rest for the sole of her foot and she returned unto him into the ark for the waters were on the face of the whole earth then he put forth his hand and took her and pulled her in unto him into the ark. And so Psalm a hundred and sixteen seven says return unto thy rest And so the dove returns, the, raven doesn't need to return because the raven is this, you know, scavenger and can eat whatever's whatever's out there. And, but the the dove representing the Holy Spirit and Noah reaching out to receive, you know, the Holy Spirit, so to speak, and to receive this dove back in. And he and he stayed yet another seven days. Again, he sent forth the dove out of the ark. So here we go. Second test. And the dove came into him in the evening and lo in her mouth was an olive leaf. So when you see the olive branch, it's not an olive branch, but bringing an olive leaf. So this is indicative of the olive trees grow on the side of the mountains a little high up, but a dove loves the valley. And so the dove's not content yet, because the dove wants to nest and make a place in the valleys. So... But the dove does come back with a, with an olive leaf, let Noah know that, hey, the water is abating from the mountains and somewhere up up the mountain, a a little little higher than the valley are these olive groves, olive trees, and brings back an olive leaf. So Noah knew that the waters were abated from the earth, so he's... Alright. It's it's dissipating. It's it's soaking back in and the winds moving around and the tectonic plates and all... Things are moving and and he stayed yet another seven days and sent forth the dove which returned not again unto anymore. So the doves content to be in the valleys at this point and, to nest and you've got two of each and two two of the clean... Seven pairs of clean. So the dove's gonna be able to mate and begin to have little doves and all that and so content. So the third test takes place, and it came to pass in the six hundred and first year. So we saw that Noah went in... According to Noah's age, Noah went into the ark on the six hundredth year. It was his birthday on the six hundredth, and let's see. Let's find that over in chapter seven. Chapter six. Do you guys see it? I could connect it. Verse six? Seven? Verse seven? Six. Six. And Noah saw 600... And Noah was 600 years old when the flood of waters was upon the earth. So a hundred and twenty years of building, and, now he's gonna have one year of rest inside the inside the ark, gonna be able to rest. And that one year has elapsed, and so so the six six hundred and first year in the first month of the first day of the month, the waters were dried up from off the earth and Noah removed the covering of the ark and looked and behold, the face of the ground was dry. And so he's been waiting and waiting and waiting, and he's gonna wait fifty six more days. So in the second month, on the seven twentieth day of the of the month was the earth dried. And so three hundred and seventy seven days or three hundred sixty five days with the calendar that we use now of a one year elapsed point in time that is in the art and you can sharpen your pencil and deal with that and and look at it and all that, but there's a general general rule. Now, why didn't Noah rush? Why didn't he rush to get out of there? Why did he keep waiting, waiting, waiting, waiting? Pardon me? Being cautious? Yeah. Cautious. But why didn't Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego jump out of that fiery furnace as soon as those ropes were burned off of them? Faith is there. Faith? Because they were in fellowship with Jesus. Right? Yeah. So apparently, Noah and the and the gang were enjoying fellowship with Jesus in the ark. Right? They were in Christ. They were enjoying it and, you jump out of this boat and you gotta start working again. You gotta rebuild the whole world. Right? Right? A year on a cruise ship. Yeah. Yeah. They've been bringing him good food, you know? Yeah. So, anyway, you're in that trial, you're in that difficulty, you're in this place where you feel like, you know, hey, wanna stretch my legs? Remember, that's the place you need to be until the Lord releases you, till he releases you. And and so Shadrach, Meshach, Abednego, and Nebbe said, did we not throw three in there? There's fourth. And he says, the son of man. So when God spoke onto him, so now Noah's been using his his husbandry, his his whole intellect, every... His reasoning, captain of that ship. Right? Jesus is the captain, but, captain of our faith. But he's been sending out the ravens, sending out the doves. We don't see that the Lord gave him any instruction doing that way, but it doesn't appear the Lord's been speaking to him. But now it says, and God spoke unto Noah saying, go forth. Now earlier the Lord said, come. In chapter seven verse one, come. Come unto me all you that labor and heavy laden. So the invitation to come. Now the commission to go. So go into all the world and preach the gospel. Right? Go into every creature. Preach the gospel to every creature, you know, in Mark's account, in Matthew's account. Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the father, son, the holy spirit, and loam with you always even at the end of the age. And so we have a command from the lord to go. We have an open door that no man can shut. And so as Bernie said earlier, I just wish that last Gentile would, come to Christ during the church age. We're waiting for the last one because Romans eleven twenty five says that blindness in part has happened unto Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles be come in. The nation of Israel, by and large is they're unbelievers. They don't believe in Jesus. They're building the third temple because they don't believe in Jesus. There's no need for a third temple if you believe in Jesus, but they reject Jesus and they still officially as a nation don't see Jesus as their Messiah. They don't they don't take Christians seriously. Right? And, so... But we're instructed to go. We also need to remind ourselves that our our lord is a Jew. The church was all Jewish to start, but blindness in part has happened unto Israel and the true Israel of God are those who believe. So that's the true Israel of God and and only a remnant only a remnant is gonna be saved during the tribulation period. Two thirds are gonna perish and that one third remnant's gonna cry out from Basra, blessed is he that comes in the name of the Lord and the Lord Jesus can intervene. And so they're gonna enter into all the Jeremiah 31 promises, the unconditional new covenant that God makes with the nation of Israel, but they're converted Jews. And they don't become Christians at that point. They are, believing messianic Jews. And so in the, millennium, Jesus is gonna rule and reign as king of kings, lord of lords, David as his prince, and there's going to be the 12 apostles ruling from their thrones. So the nation of Israel is no longer gonna be what's called the times of the Gentiles where there's Gentile global rule. The global rule is gonna be Jewish and, and the nation of Israel can't try to speed that up right now in the flesh. They can't try to speed it up in the flesh and do it in the flesh. There has to be, a recognition of Jesus because they're setting theirselves up for a fall when, they sign a covenant, Daniel nine twenty seven, with the antichrist and, and at the midpoint of the tribulation period, he's gonna go into the temple and declare himself to be God, demand to be worshipped as God and their eyes are gonna be opened. The Jews' eyes are gonna be opened that they've been deceived. In John five, Jesus said, I come in my father's name and you receive me not. Another shall come in his own name and him you will receive. So there's a blindness that's taking place. And as Bernie's point now, we're waiting for that last Gentile till the fullness of the Gentiles become in. The church age will close. God is still saving Jews because it's blindness only in part, but the the main, bulk of those who are getting saved now as the nation of Israel officially rejected Jesus in this first advent as their messiah, The Lord started the church, which was a mystery once hid now revealed. It does not take the place of the nation of Israel. It's a, it's a, mystery that was once had now revealed the church age, and and as I said, it's Jew, Gentile, barbarian, Scythian, bonder, female, female. And so the priority, the apostle Paul, he was moving about even in Gentile cities and all, he would always look for 10 Hebrew men that would have a synagogue. You would have a synagogue if he had 10 or more, and he'd always wanna preach and start his preaching at the center of where the Jews would meet, and and then he would branch out from there, you know, to the Gentiles. So the priority in Romans one is to the Jew first and to the Greek. And so so the great commission. So God spoke unto Noah saying, go forth. So you and I would say, don't go until God says to go. Don't go till God says to go. And we already have the go. There'd be no reason for us to to not go on a daily basis and pray ahead of time that the Lord gives us open doors that no man can shut, opportunities, that the Lord would go before us, that one man sows another waters and God brings the increase and and that would... That for us is a great commission. Now if I'm getting off this boat and the Lord's going to provide everything I need to go and repopulate the planet, you know, repopulate my village or whatever and the animals are gonna be very busy. Shemham and Japheth are gonna be very busy, and they're gonna have to build houses and gardens and and, start to have kids and families and, you know, the whole thing and structure. And God... We're gonna see in chapter nine that god's gonna give the authority of government, to Noah. Whereas before in chapter six, every man did that which is right in his own eyes. As we see in Romans 13, government holds the sword which is the power to capital punishment for evildoers. And so Noah's gonna have the right of capital punishment as he's brought forth to start over again. And so those that were doing that was his right in their own eyes, every man's thought and intent of his heart was only evil continually and there was violence in the land. It was chaos. It was anarchy. It was... So he's trying to bring forth some order thereafter and we'll see that in chapter nine. So... And no one... None of the animals died. Shemham, Japheth, their wives didn't die during the year. I don't even know if any of them got sick, but here they go, and thy sons and thy wives with thee. So he's bring forth with thee every living thing that is with thee of all flesh both of fowl and of cattle and of creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth that they may breed abundantly in the earth and be fruitful and multiply upon the earth. So here the Lord saying repopulate. And what's the buzzword of the Luciferian satanic globalist? What's their buzzword? Depopulation. Depopulation. Yeah. They think it's overpopulated and they wanna depopulate. Alan called me tonight and said, Rick, it's happening. I said, what's happening? He said, it's all over the news. China has a plague that's spreading. The plague is spreading. Did anybody hear that? I didn't hear it. But Alan, like, we... 's one night when COVID happened, we got a phone call right here at the bible study. But but anyway, Alan said that that the plague is spreading. I said, isn't it interesting they're calling it a plague? I mean, that's a that's a big word, you know, last time they called it COVID. And plague sounds pretty scary, you know, and I'm sure we're gonna see tonight in the news when you go home. You're gonna see videos of people dropping dead in China and bio labs and things like that. And so we know that Bill Gates is a poster child for depopulation. We have an enormous amount of this planet that doesn't have any people living on it, you know. There's plenty of room on this planet for however many peoples God wants to bring, you know. And farming ability, food production, water production, we're not running out of any natural resources. What happens is these demons, these globalists, they try to control the population through scarcity. They don't allow like Gaddafi, in Africa. He was able to bring forth a prolific amount of food. He gave free houses and education to his people. He was able to use the oil revenue, to to bless, but the globalists don't like that. They don't want to develop Africa. They want Africa to remain, you know, fighting against each other and shooting themselves in the foot and, unable to to, you know, industrialize and and to enjoy the fruits of their labors and their natural resources and and all that. So, this is this is kind of the modus operandi. Now we're watching them destroy cities, destroy whole regions of the planet with the directed energy weapons. They're creating scarcity with the tariffs and with this, choking of the Strait Of Hormuz and, trying to make food scarce, energy scarce, and, and then the the spraying, all the toxicity, all the poisons, all the people dying from cancers and turbo cancers and and, blood clots and strokes and from the vaccines. And there's just a huge effort, all the chemtrailing to, destroy the people on this planet and it emanates from the devil. The devil came to steal, to kill, and to destroy. And so, if you know this, you would have to come to conclusion at the midterms. You're gonna do it again. Your greatest enemy is your own government. Your own government is pay appointed to deceive you and to make policies against your family, against your faith, against your food. Your food is so riddled with poisons. All the processed foods that other countries don't allow but our our... In our potassium bromate in your bread and all those sorts of things that cause that cause your children to have low testosterone levels that cause them to not be able to get pregnant, to be able to have babies because the objective is depopulation. How many of remember the Georgia Guidestones? Yeah. And what was their number, Vicky? What was their number? Five. The ideal number. 500,000,000. 500,000,000 people. So with robotics, I... I'm hearing that 40 to 60% of jobs are going bye bye real soon here because of AI, because of automation, and and those jobs going bye bye. What the globalists are saying is we don't need very many people. We're gonna have things so automated, the robots and... With artificial. Or or if you want to not be labeled a terrorist, you gotta call it... What's what's it called? Yes. I am. Super intelligence or satanic intelligence. Right? But in any event, I'm hearing reports of people already losing their jobs because of it, and and so their goal is have just enough people to serve them, but not so many that they could overtake them, you know. They're afraid of how many people around the planet. Has nothing to do with global warming, that's a complete lie. Al Gore, his inconvenient truth, all that kind of stuff was a bold faced lie and and it looks like through wars what the Bible describes as the seal judgments that they're gonna get their wish in the fourth seal where one fourth of the planet's gonna die during the tribulation period. And then later, another third of the planet. So you got 8,000,000,000 people with one fell swoop of the fourth seal opening. You're gonna have 2,000,000,000 people gone. And then you're gonna you're gonna see another 2,000,000,000 people, one third thereafter. So now you're down to now you're down to 6,000,000,000, then you're gonna have one third wiped out. So now you're down to... In a short period of time, so Christie's in the right business, that are barium people. I mean, a whole lot of dead guy duty stuff and Lord I pray that Christy's okay right now. I pray that she's able to laugh and have fun and put all that pressure behind her and so in any event, a whole lot of people dying and and the Lord is telling Adam, be fruitful and multiply. The Lord's telling Noah, be fruitful and multiply. We're starting over and there's plenty of room all over the planet. Now the globalist, their design is to raise up Babylonian cities, to move the people into cities. Right? Smart cities and, to track and trace. The the mail trucks and the mail cars are all getting equipped with cameras on top of them. You didn't know that, did you? So everywhere these mail trucks are going through all the cities, they're gonna be used to read license plates and all that. The cameras that are being placed, a lot of people don't like them, they're cutting them down, but they're putting them and they've been putting them for a long time into the light poles where you don't see the cameras, you don't see the surveillance. And, and then the satellite technology, the low flying or low, if you call it low flying, satellites all over the globe. That's the way when in Revelation 11 when the two witnesses drop dead onto the ground, the whole world's able to see it. Right? The low flying satellites and everybody with their phone. But a lot of them are saying you're not gonna need your phone. You could have your smart glasses on, seat in your glasses. Right? Because chips in your head. Right? And so the technology amazing. But this whole this whole thing of depopulation, if you really look at the enormous amount of death, and Bill Gates is just so obsessed with depopulation. I read something about him, about his parents, and the topic of discussion. His mother was one of the globalist bankers and, his father was a lawyer, a six foot nine, but they were heavily, he was in Seattle and he was the one that helped Starbucks, the Starbucks guy, get started. And so if you're a prominent banker with BlackRock and with these these huge bankers, I think it was, when Bill Gates stole his technology with the the software, They were in a they were in a group in Seattle where you share ideas like a co op, and he decided to steal and then immediately license it so it became his. Right? You read that? Mhmm. And it was Noski with... And and anyway, they took that technology and they licensed it real quick. And I think it's Xerox. 80 different Xerox executives flew up to Seattle to meet with him, and, and they solidified, making this an operating system. Not only operating system, but the software and all. So so his enterprise was was launched, but his parents were... His mother, I think, or his father or both were a part of the Margaret Sanger Planned Parenthood program, if you will. They were on the board and the topic of discussion was Malthusian Malthusian Eugenics. So we're watching in Canada and The UK people being killed for being retarded or old, the Malthusian, that's the philosopher that brought forth that idea and so it's starting to be enacted more and more and more. And then if it... If Bill Gates didn't have enough money for Microsoft, the Rockefeller Foundation, they were the precursor to Bill Gates of changing the hospitals, of changing the medicine, of changing the food, of taking control of everything to an emphasis of depopulation. It's been going on by these guys for a long time. So then the monies... Much of the monies that's available through the Rockefeller Foundation is now available to Bill Gates. He never gets prosecuted. He can take and mess around with a tick and cause... Or a mosquito to come out and make people sick and die, and nobody stops them. Nobody stops them. All over Florida, these mosquitoes he's out there and and the ticks recently and the food. Why does the guy wanna be in the food business? It's not money. It's to poison us, the crickets and all that. And it's just mind boggling to me that people think that they can go vote at the midterms and change things. If if you don't vote every day and know this stuff... I know I'm a crackpot pastor now because all the stuff I just said, but this is just basic information. This is the world we live in, and people are oblivious to it. You know? And they do... I mean, that's why every now and then I should put on my my white smock and act like I'm a doctor from the pulpit because people don't think and they just go to their doctor and their doctor tells them this and and they go to the grocery aisles and they eat the box food and and and we... I used to be able to eat anything when I was a kid. Food was way different. But nowadays, we are getting sicker and sicker and sicker and they're basically depopulating the planet. They're they're instructed to repopulate. Now this would be really fun. A church plant is a really fun thing. It's an incredibly fun when you first come to a town and the objective is plant a church. Share the gospel. Do outreaches. Meet people, you know, get it going. And a lot of people like to be a part of a new church plan. You'd be surprised how many people are bored with the church that they attend, you know, and, and so when they hear of a whole new thing, you know, taking place, and it was very exciting. I hope I hope you're still excited about attending Calvary Bremernan after thirty one years. So nothing like new converts, new people getting saved. In a church that doesn't evangelize, fossilizes. Right? Just get old. Alright. So so multiply upon the earth, and the early church in the book of acts, they got 3,000, 5,000, and then they multiplied. Right? They had a little subtraction with Ananias and Sapphira, but the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved. And pretty soon, there's great grace put upon the church and there's multiplication. It's just explosive growth in the book of Acts with the help of the Holy Spirit and a spirit filled church. Now you gotta think about that growth, about population, about growth in the church. Kathy is so onto this. We believe that much of what we call church today and people that are in the church are unsaved people. And it's very difficult to get a... An unsaved person to desire this sincere milk of the word. They don't have the appetite for the word. Their appetite is for the world. And you can't get them to... As Job said, I I steam his word more than my necessary food. There there isn't the appetite. They don't they don't want it. So you're trying to bring forth God's word, you're dealing in a time of apostasy, a great falling away from the truth. And because of that falling away, now you're looking at these people that proclaim to be Christians and you look at their diet, Rob goes online every Sunday and he examines the churches in our community and what they're being fed and the content is very very very little of the word of God. Most of the content is a feel good, make you feel good, but also it's a huge emphasis upon we need more money to do good deeds in the community. So in always asking for money and the people feel good about giving money to do good in the community to be a good person, but spiritually speaking, you're just a good person going to hell. You're not born again. You must be born again. Yeah. You know? So you're just religious. Mhmm. And now, you come in there blazing with a gospel message or a word of God message and holy spirit filling me up and I'm preaching it, they're bored. They got no appetite for it. They got no desire for the word of God and then every now and then we meet a real one. We meet somebody that's real because we connected and they'll say, we were starving. We we wanted the word of God, but we couldn't find a church that teaches the word of God. So that kind of growth comes from feeding people, evangelizing the lost, and feeding the sheep. And, and so that's called discipleship. And so what would our strategy be for repopulating Calvary Bremerton? Just be faithful. Just keep doing what we're supposed to do. Share the gospel, make disciples, and the Lord will add to the church daily such as should be saved. We're hoping and praying. I can't change the culture. I can't get people to, want what we're presenting, but I know this. I can't compromise either. I can't water it down. I can't conform. I have to be faithful and allow the Lord to bring his people because God will save them. God will bring those he wants fed. He'll bring them to a place where they're feeding. So if you look at Brandon Holthaus and a bunch of these guys, they call them remnant churches. Billy Crone, when he travels around, he talks about how people are bemoaning the fact that their pastors don't teach prophecy and they can't find it anywhere. So now these guys are doing online church. They're doing online instruction. We're in a bible study here. You would take and get the Billy Crone tapes like they used to do with pastor Chuck, and you'd sit here and you'd all be listening to the bible being taught by Billy going through a book of the bible because you can't find a local pastor that's teaching the bible. That's very very common, around America and around the world today. So if something happens to me, you know where to go. Alright. And Noah went forth and his sons and his wife and his son's wives with him. So his family and as I've said over and over and over again, if I could lay my head down on my deathbed and know that my family's saved, I'm good with that. If one of my kids is not saved or one of my grandkids, I'm not good with that. That that... I don't need to worry about there's not 2,000 people in the art. Hundred and twenty years of work in there. There should be 2,000 people in this ark. No. I'm I'm... That's up to the Lord. Mhmm. He can build a bigger boat. My main objective is knowing that God's put these children into my life, family into my life, and I wanna make sure that they make it. And so too with the people at Calvary Bremerton, I wanna make sure that each and every person makes it. So that's why I'm not enamored with or trying to get just nickels and noses. I want I want to make sure that as we're teaching the word that the word of God is able to convict and to sift out people that really aren't believers, sir. You know what I mean? And so they're uncomfortable as unbelievers in our church. We're not gonna make them comfortable. We're not gonna remove the word sin or repentance or be afraid of talking about Romans one or or prophecy or whatever it is. We're just gonna give them the full counsel of God and it has a way of purifying. It has a way of keeping the church where every single person in there when I share the gospel at the end of the sermon, I'm looking around in there and it's like, hey, they're all saved. Well, that's good. That's good. That's a good thing. And I'm kinda wondering about Shannon though, I'm not sure. So I wonder. Hanging out with all those horse people, you know, it's really weird. So Noah went forth in his sons and his wife and his sons' wives with him, and every beast, every creeping thing, even the creepers, we got the creepers. Every beast and every creeping thing and every fowl and whatsoever creeps upon the earth after their kind. So they went out like families too after their kinds. You know, there... There's different kinds or species, you know. And so the dogs are hanging out, the cats are hanging out. And so every beast and every creeping thing and every fowl, it's kinda like church, you got every beast and creeping thing in the same church, you know. All kinds of different little kinds, different things, and and their kinds went forth out of the ark. And Noah built an altar. First thing he did, built an altar. Fathers, husbands, first thing you wanna build in your home is an altar, family altar. You wanna have a regular time where you bring your wife and your children before the Lord and that they see that dad's a man of prayer, he's a man of the word, that he gives place to the authority of God's word in his home, that mom and dad are worshippers, and the children, they'll follow that kind of leadership. But if they see you're a hypocrite, they're gonna have a hard time continuing in the faith knowing it wasn't true. That's a hard thing when they reach adulthood and and so make it real. Make sure it's real. Make sure they see So Noah built an altar under the Lord and took every clean beast of every clean fowl and offered burnt offering on the altar. So he's got seven pairs, 14. He's not gonna burn them all up but he's taken a pair of each and he's gonna offer them unto the Lord. And it says, and the Lord smelled a sweet savour and comes up before the Lord as a sweet smelling savour. And the Lord said in his heart, I will not again curse the ground anymore for man's sake for the imagination of man's heart is evil from his use. So Jeremiah nine says, the heart's deceitfully wicked above all things deceitful above all things desperately wicked. Who can know it? God looked at the hearts of these people in chapter six and he said, every thought and intent of their heart was only evil continually. God sees the thoughts and intents of our hearts And he knows it to be true here that Noah's heart hasn't changed. He still has an endemic fallen nature. Shem, Ham and Japheth still have that fallen nature. There's still the propensity there in your home and my heart to do evil. But we have the help of the Holy Spirit. We have the Holy Spirit to help us to have a new heart. Create in me, Lord, a clean heart, David cried out, you know. And so we cry out to the Lord to transform and change us and give us a clean heart. And the Lord said in his heart, I will not curse the ground anymore for man's sake. So we're not coming back with the flood anymore. I'm not gonna cover the earth with a flood next time by fire, the ground anymore for man's sake for the imagination of man's heart is evil from his youth. So there's no such thing as innocent children because they're good. There may be an age of innocence where God bases it upon knowledge bringing responsibility, the age of bar mitzvah, you know, where babies that die and children that die automatically go to heaven because they're sanctified, you know, by the Lord because they they... Like David David's son that died, David said, I can't be with him now but I'll be reunited with him later. So an indicator there that the byproduct of his adulterous relationship with Bathsheba and she got pregnant and the child was sick and the child died, David recognized that child didn't have time to, grow up and choose Christ and, you know, whatever. But there's a there's a principle there of of innocence because of being an infant, being... All those aborted babies are in heaven. They're all in heaven. And God's not gonna point them to hell. That would be cruel. Right? So so don't don't fall into the trap of thinking you're basically good and the kids are basically good. The Bible says there's none righteous, no not one. All have sinned, come short of the glory of God. We're born with an endemic nature and by nature, we're fighting against God and that's why we need a new nature. We need to be born again And so... And it's not your environment, it's not your parents, it's not you were an alcoholic child that makes you such a loser, such a sinner, it's because it's in your heart. Because that's who we are apart from Christ. But he didn't come for the righteous because there are no righteous, he came for sinners. He came for people like you and I to transform and change. That's why that word transform is so important. To transform us by the renewing of our mind that we may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. And so so imagination man's heart is evil from his youth, neither will I again smite anymore every living... Everything living as I have done. And so Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord in Genesis chapter six verse eight, and it's because of, God's mercies are new each morning. It's because God decided in Genesis three five to send his son to die, to offer him as a burnt offering. And so let's look at this this emphasis upon worshiping the Lord in giving. But we wanna start with what did God give? Who went to the altar first? Who was sacrificed first for us? Right? Jesus. Jesus. So, let's look at Ephesians five verse two. Somebody want that? And then Hebrews nine twenty six. Nine twenty six. Yep. And then Hebrews ten twelve. I got it. Okay. And then Matthew twenty six twelve. I'll do it. Psalm twenty two fourteen. What was it that one? Isaiah fifty three ten. I'll do that. Okay. Now... And then and then we're gonna look at our side. God initiates, and then we say, Lord, now we're gonna worship the Lord in giving, so we're gonna give back unto the Lord. But he first... He... We... We're responders. He initiates. We respond. And so so Ephesians five two. And walk in love as Christ has also passed on the struggle. And walk in love as Christ also hath loved us and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet, stony savior. So God the father is angry at sin. He's gotta punish sin. He's gotta pour out his wrath upon sin. And there's none of us that can be good enough to ever be forgiven. So God decides to part his wrath upon his only begotten son, a lamb slain before the foundation of the earth, unspotted, unblemished Jesus. Right? And Hebrews nine twenty six. For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world, but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to away sin by the sacrifice of himself. So behold the lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world. So what the writer of the Hebrews there is doing is he's saying just like with with with the priest, the priest once a year on the great day of Yom Kippur, a great day of atonement, would take the blood from the goat and they would sprinkle it there at the mercy seat and then God would kaphar in the same word that's used for the ark, cover sin for a year and then send the other goat away into the wilderness illustrating forgiveness. You take the sin away from the sinner and send it away. So what the writer here is saying is we don't need to have a Catholic mass where Jesus is recrucified every every day. We don't need to take transubstantiation and look at the elements as the real body and blood and we're crucifying him a flesh, you know, afresh. And so he's looking at the the people of the Hebrews that were going back into Judaism saying, no. Those were just types. Those were just shadows. The substance has come. Jesus is the fulfillment of all those types. Jesus is the lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world. So a picture of this is Moses in the in the wilderness when the children of Israel are all thirsty and God told Moses to smite the rock. The rock is Christ in the first Corinthians 10 verse five that followed them as the rock is Jesus. And so you're smiting that rock. It's a picture of the... Of Jesus being smitten, and the writer uses that language. Nine twenty six, they're smitten. So he's crucified once. The next time that the children of Israel are thirsty, what's God instruct Moses to do? Speak to the rock. Speak to the rock. What's that mean? Confess. It means you're... Confess. Yeah. You're already forgiven. You've already... All your sins past, present, future already been washed away. So now you come to first John one nine, the Christians borrow soap. Right? If we... Confession. And what's confession mean? If I were a if I were a caller and I put myself in a box, would you come and confess to me your sins? You're with God. So you're experiencing conviction, not condemnation. So the Holy Spirit is speaking to Eddie saying, Eddie, that was wrong. And Eddie's gonna say, well, it's the woman you gave me. It's it's her fault. Sounds good. And he's not gonna get he's not gonna get away with it. He's not gonna get away with it. But we try that. Us men always try that. And then we say, well, you know, and we have all these excuses. We play the blame game and all that. And then the Holy Spirit speaks a little louder to Eddie. Eddie, are you tired of sleeping on the couch? Are you are you ready to confess? Are you ready to admit what happened? And and finally he says, alright. Alright. Alright. And so if we confess our sin, he's faithful and just to forgive us of our sin and to cleanse us of all unrighteousness. So you didn't lose your salvation then regain it. You you experienced a separation of fellowship because if we say we walk in the light and walk in darkness, we don't do the truth. So so we... As we confess, fellowship's restored with the Lord. There isn't that that separation, if you will. And so keep the account short and quick and sweet. So Moses speak to the rock and Moses smoke the rock. He ruined the type. God spoke in types, and that was one of the types there. And and so Moses wound up dying on top of Mount Nebo looking into the promised land but didn't get to go into the promised land because the law can't bring you in. It took Joshua, Yeshua, the Messiah, Jesus, to get the children of Israel into the promised land and to get you and I across the Jordan. Right? And so so that's a picture there. Now on the great day of the feast in John seven, Jesus stood and he said, if any man thirst, let him come on to the priest and ask the priest for some water. No. No. Oh, come on. I come come to church and give us some money and... Oh, no. Let your seat. He said, come on to me. Right? Yeah. If any man thirsts, then come to me and drink. He that believes me as the scripture has said out of his belly shall flow torrents of living water. You want the power of the holy spirit in your life? Yeah. And so just ask. Reach out for the dove. Reach out. Noah had to reach out for that dove. Right? A lot of folks just say, oh, well, if the Lord wants me to be filled with the spirit, he'll fill me with the spirit. No. There's a part on your part of asking. Seeking, knocking. Keep asking, seeking, knocking. Right? And pursuing the Lord day by day, pursue the Lord. Alright. So Hebrews ten twelve. But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down on the right hand of God. So Jesus is high priest, and he doesn't need to, year by year, go into the temple on the great day of atonement and offer a sacrifice. He doesn't need to offer sacrifices. He's our great high priest, and he ever lives to make intercession for us. And so he's a priest forever after the order, not a Levitical order, the order of Melchizedek. Right? Without beginning of days nor end. And it's interesting. What's the first thing that Abraham did? He paid a tithe. Built an altar. Built an altar? Yeah. I'll build that. And gave ties to Melchizedek. Yeah. The the king of Salem, which is the king of peace. Right? A pre incarnate appearance of Jesus Christ in Hebrews seven. First thing he did. Now check this out. When we look at the way that we respond, people say, well, tithing is in the law. We're not under the law anymore. When did Abraham do that? Four hundred and thirty years before the law. Right? And here Noah is. Nobody's telling him he's under the law. He's an... He's respond... He's a worshiper. You're either a worshiper or not. That's why Paul brings it around to God loves a cheerful giver. If you can't give cheerfully, don't give. Right? There's principles that you can learn from about giving back to God and sacrificing things unto God, but ultimately, he's not holding the gun to your head forcing you. It means nothing to him if it's not hilarious giver from the heart responding to all that he's already given us. And so that's what he wants. He wants cheerful givers. Alright. So we got that part done. Matthew twenty six twelve. Twenty six twelve. Wherein that, she had poured this ointment on my body. She did it for my burial. And so what happened here was Judas became indignant because you know what? That was very expensive. And you know what? We could have done community outreach with the poor with... I'm the treasure. Give me that money. And Jesus said, no. You worship before you work. Worship comes before work. And and he he said she did it for my burial. It was very expensive. It cost her a lot to worship him in giving. And Psalm twenty two fourteen. My life is poured out like water. So the... My bones are all dry. My heart is like wax melting within me. It really helps when we're doing communion, this do in remembrance of me, to read Psalm 22, to read Isaiah 53, to read the account in the gospels of what Jesus went through and meditate and go slow because look at what he did. He wants you to comprehend this do in remembrance of me and then being a worshiper is responder. You're responder in your heart. He wants our heart. So his whole boy... His his shoulders are coming disjointed. Everything's coming out of joint because of the weight of his body on that cross and his heart's ready to burst. The pericardium was pierced by this centurion and blood and water came out indicative of bursting heart. He he died of a broken heart. Isaiah fifty three ten. Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise him. Oh, there you go. And he had put him to grief. When thou shall make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days and the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in his hand. Alright. So now we're gonna apply it to... For us. How how can we be a worshiper? Romans twelve one, who wants that? Twelve one and two. I like number two in there too. Romans twelve one and two. Okay. I'll get it. Philippians four eight. Four eight? Yeah. Who's got it? I got it. Okay. Hebrews thirteen fifteen. I'll do it. K. Proverbs three nine. I'll do that one. Proverbs three nine. Second Samuel twenty four twenty four. I can do that one. Alright. And that should be enough to get the point across to us. Right? I got a bunch more, but we'll we'll leave that alone. Alright. So we're moving fast now because it's almost 08:00. Romans twelve one and two. Our pumpkin carriage is coming here. Romans 12. Twelve one and two. I I beseech thee I beseech you, therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not comforted to the comforted. Be not conformed to this world, but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind that you may prove what is good and acceptable and perfect will of God. So I gotta I gotta I gotta preach on that a minute. We gotta break that down. We we are we are inductive bible study students. We wanna take that passage, and we want to break it down. Right? So he says, I... And we're of grammar. Right? We look at grammar. I beseech thee... So beseeching is begging you. Get your attention. I beseech thee therefore. What's the therefore grammatically? In addition to our... Because Points backwards Yeah. Of what he preceded it with, what came. He's building a case. His case is Romans one sixteen and seventeen, the gospel. That's his theme. So his theme of the book is I'm not ashamed of the gospel of Christ for it is the power of God unto salvation everyone that believes. To the Jew first and also to the Greek for therein is the rice of God revealed from faith to faith as written, the just shall live by faith. There's the gospel. And then he goes on to describe the gospel in chapter one with the immoral people, chapter two with the self righteous people. Then he gets into three, and he's gonna nail everybody. All have sinned and come short of the glory of God. He's gonna bring everybody to the place where every mouth stop, where everybody's guilty. And then in chapter four, he brings in Abraham the principle of faith. Chapter five, justification. Chapter six, sanctification. Sin shall not have dominion over you. Chapter seven, he's talking about that struggle between the flesh and the spirit. Things I do wanna do, I don't do. Things I don't wanna do, I do. Right? And so you better get involved in a 12 step. No. You better take some drugs. You better get to counseling. No. You need to get into chapter eight. You need the holy spirit. So then you underline a circle spirit spirit spirit spirit all the way through chapter eight, the emphasis upon the holy spirit. We're more than conquerors through him that loved us, pointing back to the cross. Now he says, what about Israel, you you Preterists at the end of the age, you Martin Luther's, you Augustines, all you people that think the church replaced Israel? Not so. So he takes chapter nine and he shows chapter nine in light of the gospel, in light of the church age. He says Israel's past election. Chapter 10, Israel's present rejection. Chapter 11, Israel's future restoration. Blindness apart has happened unto Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles come in. Now he comes to chapter 12. I beseech you therefore, in light of all I've taught you, what should your response be? Now it's your turn. This is all that god's done for you. This is your turn that you present... You're gonna present your bodies as a living sacrifice. And J Vernon McGee said the only problem with a living sacrifice is when the altar gets hot, people get down off it. Right? That you present... That word present in the Greek text is once and for all, that you present your bodies as a living sacrifice. And what kind of sacrifice? Holy and acceptable. Acceptable is well pleasing unto him. Which is your... Here we go. Is your reasonable... It's logical. Remember how, you know, Noah's using his reason faculties with the doves and the ravens and all? If you think about all this, you take it in, it's reasonable that your response would be... That word service is the word used for worship. It's reasonable that your response would be to worship God and then be not conformed to this world. Conformity of the world, want the world to like you, be in a worldly church, a worldly Christian. Let's get the church to grow. Let's be like the world. No. No. No. No. Be not like the world, but be transformed, which is a metamorphosis, your new creation in Christ Jesus, you're born again, be transformed and now the the work of changing the way you think because the thoughts and intents of man's heart are only evil continually. So what do we do with that? We're gonna be transformed by the renewing of our mind. The Lord's gonna cause the brain to be reprogrammed the way we think. We're gonna think biblically now. We're gonna think like a Christian. We're gonna think like Jesus. Right? We're gonna have the capacity to love. Right? And so be transformed by the renewing of your mind that you may prove what is a good and acceptable and perfect will of God. And what a blessing that is to be a Christian and to be led along that path. Right? So your life is an expression of worship. You're a worshiper. Alright. Philippians four eight. Four eight. My glasses off. Finally, brethren, whosoever thing... Whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are good of a good report, if there be any virtue, if there be any praise, think on these things. That sounds good, though. Probably wasn't it, but but it's nice. That's a nice one. It's part of it. Philippians four eight? Probably four eighteen maybe. Let's see. He says for 18, but I have all in the bound. I have... Am full, have received epaphroditis, the things which were sent from you, so they were given a gift unto him to help him. An odor of a sweet smell, a sacrifice acceptable, well pleasing unto God. So when you support the Apostle Paul, when you support a pastor, when you support a church with love offerings, whatever, it's a gift to sacrifice acceptable, well pleasing unto God. And... But my God shall supply all your needs according to riches glory by Christ Jesus. So Paul is thankful that as he's in prison and unable to do the tent making that he once did, that there's people from Philippi that wanna worship the Lord by supporting the work of getting the gospel out. Okay. Now Hebrews thirteen fifteen. Thirteen fifteen. Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise, the fruit of the lips that openly professes his name. And do not forget to do good and to share with others with... For with such sacrifice... Sacrifices God has pleased. So the sacrifice of our lips and sharing with other word share can be fellowship, it can be communion, communication where we share with others, you know, who are in need. Proverbs three nine. Proverbs three nine. Honor the Lord with your will and with the best part of everything you produce. So you give God the best first. Who you giving it to? If you were to give the governor, a diseased sheep, how do you think the governor would respond? So don't... Why would you try to pass off to God the leftovers, you know? You wanna give God the best. Alright. So second Samuel twenty four twenty four, interest of time, I'll just tell you what that one is. David has lost the ark of the covenant. God's gonna help him get it back, and he's... The ark of the covenant is there at the threshing floor of Aruna, and Aruna sees David coming, and he says, David, you're a prince of a man. You can have the threshing floor. And David says, no. I will not offer to the Lord that which cost me nothing. I'm gonna pay for it. So worship is always... There's always a cost involved in worshiping the Lord. You're gonna have to sacrifice time. You're gonna have to sacrifice something. So, and it's measured... The cost is measured by the widow's mites, not the amount. It's what the cost is. It cost the woman her living for that day. She wasn't gonna eat that day. Where the pharisees could go there and give in tons of money, but Jesus said this woman... And he purposely positioned himself at the temple treasury to show his disciples what true worship is. And and there was this woman with a widow and she put in her mites, and Jesus knew the value of that in in relationship to the income that this woman had in her life and the pharisees. The pharisees, he said, they gave out of their abundance. Didn't cost them a bit. Didn't cost them much. But this woman gave out of her living, meaning when you're a day laborer and you're out there in the field working for a day, day's wages, you don't have an abundance of money built up. You're working every day. And so that money you make goes for food for that day. You're buying food every day, but she's not gonna eat that day or not as much. Alright. So the Lord looks at our heart and it means most to him when when when we are responding to the cross. What did it cost God? It cost him everything. He gave his only begotten son. Alright. So verse 21, and the Lord smelled a sweet savor and the Lord said in his heart, I will not again curse the ground and boy, I love barbecues. I love church picnics. I love I love having that, a carnivore celebration. Now remember, these priests, when they would do these these burnt offerings and all, there would be a portion of it that would be offered to the Lord. The other portion, the priest gets as part of his pay. Do you understand that? He would get to take that meat home to his family. That's part of how he was compensated, you know. So read first Corinthians nine if you want an understanding. Those that go to war don't go at their own expense. So those that are in the ministry are provided for through the ministry. You minister to people in spiritual things, they minister to you in the material things And, when, something's quote unquote given to the church, the pastor and the pastor's wife may Take from it. Exactly. Because it's part of their compensation. So in our case, the church rent gets paid first. The insurance gets paid. Anything bills that the church has comes first. Cathy and I can live off of what's left over. K? And that's how it works. Alright? So don't get your underwears in a thing if if you see us utilizing something that quote unquote has been given to the church. Okay? There you go. Alright. And the Lord smelled the sweet savor and the Lord said in his heart, I will not again curse the ground anymore for a man's sake. The imagination man's heart is evil from his youth, neither will I again smite any more every everything living as I have done. So he's gonna come forth with the covenant with the bow, the rainbow as a as a symbol, which the gays and all them try to, steal from us. While the earth remains, seed time and harvest, cold and heat, so he's talking about the cycles that he's gonna bring in after the flood and the the the... If you can stop the sun from coming up, you know, then you can stop the Lord fulfilling his promises to the nation of Israel. But since the sun's coming up every day and going down the moon and stars and the whole cycle that he's created through creation, he's a God of... That's gonna keep his promises. So while the earth remains, seed time and harvest and cold and heat and summer and winter and day and night shall not cease. So the seasons are gonna continue. We're starting over. We've, the earth's changed a little bit after the flood, maybe quite a bit with the tectonic plates, everything moving, the mountain ranges, the Grand Canyon, and all that sort of thing. And I'm not gonna destroy the earth again, curse it, you know, by by water, But second Peter three ten, three seven through 10 talks about how the lord eventually after the millennium is gonna destroy the earth. Gonna have to restore the earth to be inhabited for a thousand years after the tribulation period because of the cataclysmic events that take place with the seal and the and the bowl, seal and and the trumpet and bowl judgments. So there's gonna be a, like, a restoration that Jesus does maybe during that seventy five day interval. He doesn't need seventy five days. He made everything beautiful in six days. Right? He doesn't even need six. He didn't six to lay it out. So he... There's a certain point he's gonna take all of the carnage that took place during the tribulation period and restore the earth to a garden of Eden condition, and remove the curse, the lion, the lamb, and a child leading them. Right? Thousand years, but one thing that doesn't change, this man's heart. At the end of the millennium, many of the human beings that are being reproduced, the ones that come in that start the millennium are all believers, but their offspring, these human offspring have a choice and their heart is exposed. Jesus is ruling and reigning with a rod of iron. Everyone has to do what he says. And you and I are ruling and reigning with him as kings and priests and he's got the ultimate ultimate surveillance system going on. He can stop a sinner from robbing a house before the guy even gets in there. Now the devil dreams of preprogramming. He dreams of precrime information to arrest somebody before they do the murder. Well, the lord can do that. The devil can't. They have little movies and stuff about that, but they they can't get in people's heads like that. So a lot of it's gonna be stopped before it even happens. I doubt there's gonna be any kids, molested or trafficked or any of that because the lord knows in his omniscience. He knows all that stuff gonna stop before it happens. But to illustrate the free will, free moral agency of man, he takes Satan who's been bound for a thousand years and lose him at the end of the millennium and a whole group of kings and people and Gentile nations, not the nation of Israel, they're all saved. They begin to rebel against God and God snuffs them out with fire. And so that's the end of that era which is called the millennium, Revelation 20. And, six times the word millennium, is used there. A thousand years, thousand years, thousand years, or Latin, it's millennium. And then we come into Revelation twenty one and two... 22, a new heaven, new earth. So this earth Peter described is gonna be burned up completely and there gonna be a new heaven, a new earth. And some of the guys are teaching us that when we're in the millennium, we can see the new Jerusalem that Abraham and Sarah were looking for, a city whose builder maker is God, and that we can see the new heaven, the newer. Wouldn't that be fascinating up in space? And then it comes down it comes down out of heaven, and you and I get to be... I mean, I like to I like to imagine that while we're here on during... On this earth during the millennium that we can go back and forth in our new glorified bodies. Wouldn't that be fascinating? That would be amazing. That'd be amazing, wouldn't it? Alright. So any other questions or comments while we... Before we pray? Okay. Did we cover that? Mhmm. You guys ready? Next week, chapter nine. Good to be back. Alright. Father, we thank you. And Lord, again, we lift up Christie. We haven't checked her phones to see if she's okay, but Lord, we we sense she is. We pray that you help her recover from all that's going on emotionally, physically, spiritually in every way. Bless her time with her sister Holly and with Joey and Jeffrey and just help her to recover this week. And Lord, we just thank you for her. Pray you provide for her, protect her, heal her. And Lord, we lift up Allan Goff. We pray for his arm that you continue to heal him. Shannon Goodson, get her dialed in, Lord. Get her energy back and Mike and be with Carl with his heart heart attack, his recovery from his heart surgery. Help him to get stronger and stronger. And, Lord, we pray for Finley. We pray that you do miracles of healing for Finley, Lord, and Jamie Walden's son, and God that you would speed up the healing, Lord. You would bypass all the thing. We thank you for the doctors and all their prognosis and all the things they say that might not happen, but Lord, we pray that both legs, the right and the leg, right and left leg and the hips and everything would, be miraculously healed just as you did when he fell out of the tree and broke his back, Lord. We pray for your healing touch, we thank you for preserving his life and we thank you Lord that his greatest desire through this was to read his Bible that Lord he wants to know you and Lord we wants to know you even more. And Lord we pray that our kids, that our loved ones, they too, that all of us Lord would have this desire to be in your word and to know you. And this Sunday, as Sunday's coming up Lord, Paul's exhortation that I might know him. Lord, help us, all of us, to make that the main thrust, the main motivation, the master passion of our lives to love and know you. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
