Genesis 8
This Monday night Bible study, led by Pastor Rick Beaudry, works through Genesis 8, covering the waters receding after the flood, Noah sending out the raven and the dove, the ark resting on Ararat, and God's promise never again to curse the ground. The discussion ties these events to related passages in Psalm 104, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Exodus 12, and 1 Corinthians 5, and draws connections to Christ as our rest and Passover lamb. Pastor Beaudry also urges us to respond to God in worship and giving, to be transformed by the renewing of our minds as Romans 12 describes, and to seek the fullness of the Holy Spirit. The evening closes with prayer for healing and recovery for several members of the congregation.
