Live from Bremerton. It's Monday night. We are in Daniel chapter two. Gonna finish up, Lord willing, this book. There's so much in here. And, basically, we're gonna move forward from verse 31, but we're gonna back it up to verse 28 and look at the latter days, what that means. So are we living in the latter days? So let's pray. And, father, we come before you, and we thank you for this wonderful space at Rob and Vicky's home that we can meet. And, Lord, it's just such a gorgeous, gorgeous day. And, we lift up Sally and James, that you'd heal Sally, Lord, and comfort James. We pray for Mike Goodson, that you'd help him to gain weight, that his health would increase. And, Lord, we lift up Gloria. She's sick, and we pray that you undergird and strengthen her and, bless bless her, Lord. And, anybody else that's been sick, Lord, we pray for your healing touch upon their bodies. And, Lord, we lift up Idaho by Coeur D'Alene with Athwal, with the shooting, the firemen and all, just just the craziness of all that going on. We pray for your comfort upon them. Pray that all that the enemy means for evil, Lord, you turn around for good, that it would just unite that community even stronger to stand up against any kind of infiltration of weirdness, Lord. So just bless these pockets around America of conservative thinking and loving people that love Jesus, and, they're just being they're being infiltrated, Lord. So just protect us, we pray, and help our little little remnant group here to remain faithful unto you, and, just bless tonight. Pour out your holy spirit in Jesus' name. Amen. Amen. Amen. The everlasting god. You do not faint. You won't go weary. You are the fender out of me. Oh, you good? Okay. Thanks. Alrighty. Daniel chapter two. There's so much here, and, I'm so blessed to, be able to study, the book of Daniel with you guys. I love the fact that you are students of the bible, and it gives me gives me a place to teach. The times we're living in, there's very, very, very few that call themselves Christians that are interested in the book of Daniel, that are interested in prophecy, interested in the book of Revelation. They just skip over it and just don't even deal with it. So and many within the church, majority of those denominations are those that are part of the, what we call the replacement theology. And, Augustine, Saint Augustine was instrumental in, convincing much of the church in his day coming out of the Catholic church that the church replaced Israel and that we don't need to worry about Israel anymore, that all the promises, everything pertain to the church, which we as students of the Bible, we understand that to be false and that Jesus has a distinct plan for the nation of Israel. God always has, and his promise to them are yay and amen. And the apostle Paul and present the gospel in Romans book of Romans chapter nine, Israel's past election. Chapter 10, its present rejection. Chapter 11, its future restoration. Ezekiel thirty six and thirty seven describes the rebirth of the nation of Israel on 05/14/1948. That took place unprecedented in history. So Augustine in his day, you know, Israel didn't look like it ever come back from the dead, but, God said it would, and it did. It is. And, and now we're in what's called the last days. And the last days being, the time of Christ. In his first coming, we have been living in the last days. We could say, for us, we're in the last of the last days. We're not ignorant of the times that we're living in, and we have many more signs that are being fulfilled or prophecies being fulfilled in these last of the last days that signify and let us know as we study first Thessalonians five that that day of the Lord, which is the tribulation period, not the rapture, that the day of the Lord wouldn't overtake us unaware. And so we are watching and we're seeing the formation of the one world monetary system, bible prophesies of in Revelation thirteen sixteen through 18, a one world religious system, and also a one world, governmental system that we're gonna see in Daniel chapter two here and, Daniel seven also. And so it's very exciting to connect the dots and to not allegorize or spiritualize or, and the accuracy of the book of Daniel is so incredible that textual critics would say there's gotta be a second Daniel. It had to have been written after the fact because it's so incredibly accurate, you know, prophetically. And so, we remind ourselves that in May that Nebuchadnezzar Babylonian, the nation of Babylon destroyed, the temple. And then there's three different, exodus, if you will, of of, taking the people away, and Ezekiel was a part of the the third one, and Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach, Abednego, part of the first one. And, they are in Babylon. They're young guys. They're part of nobility, and they have some real gifting and faith in God. And, Daniel's gonna rise to the top here in chapter two because not only, could he interpret a dream, but he could actually tell the king, Nebuchadnezzar, what his dream was. And the other magicians and and Chaldeans and Wiseman, none of them could do that. We saw that last week. And now we're getting into the interpretation, of the dream. And, but we wanna look at verse 28 where he says, for there is a god in heaven who reveals secrets and make it known to the king Nebuchadnezzar, what shall be in the latter days, the dream and the vision of thy head upon thy bed are these. And so, basically, what's happening, it's the period of what we call the times of the Gentiles. The times of the Gentiles is described also in Luke chapter 21 to verse 34. The times of the Gentiles is where the world is ruled by Gentile nations. So there's four different prominent Gentile empires that are alluded to in this in this dream and pictured in a in a statue that king Nebuchadnezzar has that he that he's gonna build. And so the head of gold represents who? Nebuchadnezzar and Babylon. So the Babylonian empire is gonna go from June to May, about sixty six years. And then we remember in Daniel five that Cyrus, the Persian, with Darius, Mede, the Medes and the Persians, they, come through the Levied Gate and the Euphrates River being dammed up. And in Daniel five, as in a moment, the Babylonian empire crumbles and Belteshazzar is executed, and the Medo Persian Empire goes from May to March. And and Daniel's alive during the entire time of the Babylonian and on into the time when Cyrus is there for a few years, not the entire time of of the Medo Persian Empire because it's close to two hundred and eight years, so it wouldn't be there. But he's an elderly man at the time that Cyrus comes. Then Cyrus is presented with Isaiah thirty four forty four, where God surnamed him ahead of time, said, I'm gonna use Cyrus, my servant. So you present the Isaiah written in 700, and, this is more like five hundred five hundred years before Christ. And, and you show him where God surnamed him, you know, this king ahead of time. And so Cyrus became very favorable toward the Jews, and he's the one that allowed them to go back, to Jerusalem, begin to rebuild and all that. And then Alexander the Great, so you got the the head of gold and then you got the chest of silver and the arms of silver, each arm representing the Medes, the Persians, two different, fronts or two different groups, representing that empire. And Then you have the chest of brass, or you got the the, yeah, the chest of brass, belt of brass. And so that's Alexander the Great. And Alexander the Great is March to 06/30, sixty three BC. So about a hundred and eighty five years. And then in sixty three BC, to April, we have the Roman Empire, and, and that's the legs of iron and the feet of, clay mixed with clay, representing the Roman Empire. And so the Roman Empire, there's gonna be a rebirth of the Roman Empire according to Daniel 09/2027, and, that's gonna be a seven year period of time where the the last seven year period of the Gentile world rule of the times of the Gentiles. The times of the Gentiles ends with the second coming of Jesus. And with the second coming of Jesus, we have the kingdom age, and, that's where Jesus can rule and reign. And, turn to Matthew chapter 25 a second, just in case somebody wants to allegorize it. Matthew 25 and, verse thirty one and thirty two. So this is the second coming. So when the son of man shall come in his glory and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory. Read the next verse. And before him shall be gathered all nations, and he shall separate them one from another as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats. So this is literal. It's not allegorical. It's not his throne in heaven. It's his throne here on earth. This is the beginning of the millennium. There's a seventy five day interval where Jesus is going to judge the nations of how they treated the nation of Israel and kind of restore the earth after it comes out of the tribulation period, how messed up it is and all, and reverse the curse and get it all ready. And, Daniel chapter 12 will describe the twelve hundred ninetieth day, from the abomination of desolation spoken of by Daniel the prophet. And so, there's a twelve hundred and sixty days, which is three and a half years, then there's a blessed teeth come the thirteen hundred and thirty fifth day, which would be the start, actual start of the millennium. And and according to Revelation chapter 21 through 10, rule and reign for a thousand years, in the Latin, we call that millennium. And, so Jesus is gonna rule and reign upon the earth fulfilling many of the Old Testament, prophecies. And so that's when the times of the Gentiles ends, and we we're awaiting we're awaiting what comes next is the seventieth seven of Daniel, the day of the Lord. And, we believe that you and I are gonna be raptured before that happens, before the signing of that peace treaty. And then, and that's where some of these guys, they they get kinda crazy when we're talking about the last days. So if we look at the last days, we we look at Hebrews one. Last week, we quoted it. We said, God who at sundry times in that in diverse manners, has in the past spake unto us through the prophets, but in these last days has spoken to us through his son. So with the first coming of Jesus, that starts the last days. Now in Daniel 12, Daniel's told to seal the book till the time of the end. And so much of, if we looked at that, you look at the word time, time, time, time, time. And so there's a portion of it where knowledge will increase, and then there's, gonna be a loosening or opening up of, Daniel 12. And that's that's where I believe we're headed very quickly where, the tribulation period is, fast approaching. The Jews are looking to build a new temple. The Antichrist can't go into a temple unless the temple is rebuilt. That's called the abomination of desolation spoken of by Daniel and prophet in Matthew 24 verse 15. And so, when you see these things begin to come to pass and look up, Jesus said, for your redemption draws nigh. And now Matthew 24, this is a really poor exposition to scare people away from eschatology. And I'd originally heard it from, Rick Warren. He was telling everybody the return of Jesus is none of your business. And he got people to, not look to prophecy anymore. People were tired of hearing the left behind series. And when the rapture didn't happen, they they triggered this whole purpose driven stuff. So no eschatology. No no last days teaching. So many churches, the majority of churches went purpose driven. And so he emphasized Rick Warren that it was good deeds, not creeds. Creeds is teaching. So all this time later, thirty years later, we're dealing with an apostate church. We're dealing with pastors that don't teach the Bible, don't teach Daniel, don't teach the book of Revelation, so people aren't ready. And part of it, as I was telling Rob and Vicky, there's a guy in our community that, you know, basically quoted Rick Warren in Matthew 24. The disciples asked Jesus a question, and he says, disciples came to him and show him the buildings of the temple. And Jesus said unto them, see not all these things? They're always saying to you, there shall not be left here one stone upon another that shall not be thrown down. So Jesus is showing them that seventy AD that Titus will surround the city of Jerusalem, put a a hurt locker on it, and destroy the temple, not one stone will remain upon another. Well, the disciples then say, because, you know, they're still thinking, like, when are you gonna set up your kingdom? And he sat upon the Mount Of Olives, and the disciples came in them privately saying, tell us when shall these things be? So that's one question. What shall be the sign of thy coming and of the end of the age? And so Jesus answered and said, take heed that no man deceive you. He goes on and he gives them some signs. And then in verse 36, but of that day and hour knoweth no man, not the angels of heaven, but my father only. So what happens is Jesus is referring here not to the day of the Lord, which is the tribulation period, but he's referring to the rapture, and he's saying nobody knows the day or the hour, only my father only. So Rick Warren and this other pastor say, it's none of your business of when these things are to happen. We're just supposed to share the gospel. And by sharing the gospel and doing good deeds, we're gonna usher in the kingdom. We're gonna take back, you know, the world. And when we get it all figured out, when we get it all straightened out by voting in the right guys and getting the right churches and right teaching and curriculum back in the schools, and when we take control of Christian nationalism, kingdom age, new age, all these different names for it, dominion theology, we're gonna take dominion of the earth. When we finally take dominion, then Jesus will come back. And so for many of them, they think we're already in the millennium, and it's a means of conquering the world through the gospel. Through the preaching of the gospel, we'll conquer the world. And so I'm gonna get some light on here. There we go. So that's that's kinda and and it's very sad because, the people in these churches don't get any teaching concerning the nation of Israel. They don't get any teaching of where the nation of Israel fits, the second coming of Christ. Paul told the church of Thessalonica that you're children of light that that day wouldn't overtake you unaware. So why would you tell everybody it's none of your business? No man knows except the father when Paul's saying because they're talking about two different things. When Paul's talking first Thessalonians five, he says the day of the Lord. You know you know perfectly well, brethren, that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night. You know that. And, but not for you because you're children of light. It's not gonna overtake you unaware. But for those who are not children of light, it's gonna overtake them as a thief in the night. They're not gonna they're not gonna know what hit them when, they find themselves in the tribulation period. And the day of the Lord is a campaign. It isn't a specific day at the end of the tribulation that Jesus returns. It's the book of Revelation chapter six on to 19, and it's the day of the Lord in a campaign of his unveiling being revealed and coming back again, culminating climaxing with his physical return. Alright. So let's look at some verses that well, I'll just read them because there's so many. In the latter days, Genesis forty nine one, the 12 tribes. Numbers twenty four fourteen, a conflict with Moab in the last days. Deuteronomy four verse 30, the nation's gonna return to God in the last days. In Deuteronomy thirty one twenty nine, the nation's gonna go through great tribulation. Isaiah two verse two, in the latter days, the messianic kingdom's gonna start. Hasn't started yet. In Jeremiah thirty twenty four, they're gonna return to the land. Did they return to the land in the latter days? In Jeremiah forty eight forty seven, the Moabites are gonna return, that Southern Jordan. Jeremiah forty nine thirty nine, the Elamites, which is Iran. Ezekiel thirty eight sixteen, a king in the last days, a king invades Gog, the leader of Magog, invades the nation of Israel to take the spoil, and, that happens in the latter days. Daniel two twenty eight, where we're at, it's the times of the Gentiles in the latter days. Daniel ten fourteen, in the latter days, the future of Israel. Hosea three five, the return of Jesus in the latter days. And then in Micah four one, the messianic kingdom, in the latter days. So there's a lot of prophecy that's still not fulfilled awaiting fulfillment. And so there shall be in the latter days thy dream and thy vision of thy head upon thy bed are these. As for thee, oh king, thy thoughts came unto thy mind upon thy bed. So Nebbe is on his bed, and he's thinking about all this. And then the Lord gives him a dream. He's wanting to know what's gonna happen, and God wants to let him know what's gonna happen, but God also wants to reveal himself, to Nebuchadnezzar. And shall should come to pass hereafter, And he who reveals secrets makes known to thee what shall come to pass. So the devil cannot reveal secrets. Devil doesn't know the future. The devil's gotta listen and study and read the Bible to just like you and I to try and get a prophetic picture of what's happening. And in that light, it's insanity for the devil to think that he could gather the antichrist and the false prophet and all the armies of the earth and try to stop Jesus from returning. I mean, isn't he a student of prophecy? Doesn't he know? Doesn't he read Psalm two? Oh, how the heathen rage, imagine a vain thing against the Lord, and the Lord just laughs from heaven at the plot and scheming and planning. And the word that we would use, conspiring. The CIA tried to take that word and make it that you're a nut job if you're conspiracy theorist. All through the bible, people are conspiring against each other, conspiring to kill Jesus, and, so I am a conspiracy fact checker. And, it's it's an absolute, you know? And then all these years later, they divulged that JFK wasn't killed just by Lee Harvey Oswald, you know, that, there were several gunmen. So all you people that rejected the Warren Commission's report and were shamed into being conspiracy theorists, don't doubt what the media is telling you. You were correct. Your discernment was correct, and they admit it. So he reveals secrets and, so the future prophetic picture. And, but as for me, the secret is not revealed to me for any wisdom that I have. So Daniel's not taking the glory to himself, more than any living, but for their sakes that they shall make known the interpretation of the king and that thou mightest know the thoughts of your heart. And so that you would know and that, God would divulge what's gonna happen. So verse 31, the dream, the great image. Thou, o king, saw and behold a great image. This great image whose brightness was excellent stood before thee, and the form of it was terrible. So in the next chapter, we're gonna see that he's gonna erect the statue and want everybody to bow down to it. The image's head was a fine gold, and Vicky let us know that that fine gold as we're gonna see is for the nation, the Babylonian Empire. Now this Babylonian Empire starts out the strongest or most valuable, if you will. And then as we go through the different metals, there's a decrease, a diminishing value, if you will. But the strength increases. So this image, because the Medes and Persians come along and they're stronger than Babylon, they destroy Babylon. So the name of Chedso was a fine gold, the breast and its arms of silver, and its belly, that's what I was looking for, its belly and its thighs of bronze, and its legs of iron, and its feet part of iron and part of clay. Now in Isaiah 14 verse four, Babylon is called the golden city. And, and so this this image, this statue, is top heavy. It has very weak feet. The feet are just made of clay. And, so we see the Babylon there, and then we see the Medo Persian Empire, breast and its arm of silver. So the two divisions there. Its belly and its thighs of of bronze. And so that's the Alexander the Great, the Grecian empire. And then legs of iron, that's the Roman Empire, part of iron and part of its feet, part of iron and part of clay. And, so it's gonna have these weak feet. And JD Farrag, he comes up with something I haven't seen before, and I'll let Bernie tell it. But he basically sees a transhumanism here that that the beast empire, the rebirth of the Roman empire, that feet of clay speaks of merging the technology in such a way that human beings being merged with the DNA and such and and and all that and the vaccine that we took and everybody with the spike proteins, JD feels that there's a something here to that degree. Others look at it from a standpoint of being an imperial, empire, but then, declining to the point of, some sort of a democracy, the feet of clay where men, where people try to get involved to a certain degree. So you have these four kingdoms in those two verses. And, now, again, these are spread out over, June, May, all the way to the the Romans of April. And the Roman Empire is gonna divide in two parts, east and west, Constantinople and Rome, and then it's gonna basically deteriorate toward the end. So that might be another aspect of the clay. Now we come to and there were the iron and the clay, the bronze and the silver and the gold broken pieces, the pieces together and became like the chaff of the summer threshing floors, and the wind carried them away, but no place was found for them. And the stone that smote the image became a great mountain and filled the whole earth. So the picture is like we alluded to a minute ago. The picture is of Psalm two. And so this strong Roman rebirth Roman empire with the clay, the feet of 10 toes. Right? And those 10 toes we're gonna see are 10 kings. Daniel seven will describe them as 10 horns. Horns represent power and authority. And then we we see in Revelation thirteen and seventeen that it actually spells it out that these are 10 crowns and 10 kings. So the rebirth of the Roman Empire will be with 10 technocrats, 10 kings, 10 so imperial, not not a democracy. Some are saying, well, they might have a, you know, a constitutional republic for a while. No. It's it's gonna be a monarchy monarchists with 10 of them. And then in Daniel seven, we're gonna see where the three of them rebel against the Antichrist, who's the the leader that begins to lead this this this rebirth of Roman Empire. And he subdues them, then the other eight give over their sovereignty to the Antichrist. So there's just one global world ruler to finish up during the tribulation period. Now in Psalm two, you know, they're gonna be crushed. So this stone that's coming, this stone that the nations rejected is gonna become the head of the corner. So notice it says, who carried them away that no place was found for them, and the stone that smote the image became a great mountain and filled the whole earth. So you transition from the times of the Gentiles to the tribulation period being the very end, and then Jesus returning. He's the stone, and that he has the stone wipes them out, all of them. So we know in second Thessalonians chapter two that he destroys the Antichrist and the false prophet with the brightness of his coming and the sword of his mouth. And we've seen Revelation 14, the blood is as high as the horse's bridle. So he's gonna subdue in this 200 mile battlefield of all the nations that are converged there. He wipes them all out, at Armageddon, and, and so this mountain speaks of a new global government, the fifth global government, which is Jesus. It's a global government for Israel, not the Gentiles, for Israel. David as a prince and Jesus as king of kings and lord of lords, ruling over, the entire earth. And so if we were to look at, who wants Matthew twenty one forty two through 44, and who wants Psalm one eighteen twenty two? Okay. And Zechariah twelve three. Twelve three. I'll do Zechariah. Twelve three? And who wants Isaiah twenty eight sixteen? Okay. Twenty eight sixteen. Okay. And And somebody could read a a portion of Psalm two describing, what he does, how he turns it to chaff. So in second Thessalonians two eight, he wipes out the beast and the false prophet. In Matthew, the beast is the antichrist in place of Jesus Christ. In Matthew twenty one forty two through 44, he describes that the stone which the builders rejected in Psalm one eighteen becomes the head of the corner. Now the picture here is go ahead and read it. I don't think anybody chose it. Got Matthew 21? I'll do it. 42 through 44? Okay. Jesus. K. The stone. The stone not cut with hands. Jesus said to them, have you never read in the scriptures, the stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone? The Lord has done this, and it is marvelous in our eyes. That's Psalm a 118. So let me read this. Thou saw thou sawest until a stone was cut without hands, which smote the image upon its feet that were of iron and clay and broke them into pieces. So that is Jesus returning, destroying the rebirth Roman empire, the 10 toes, the 10 nations. Alright. So now Matthew twenty one forty two to 44. That's what I was reading. Jesus said unto them, have you have you never read in the scriptures the stone the builder rejected has become the cornerstone? The Lord has done this, and it is marvelous in in our eyes. Therefore, I tell you that the kingdom of God will be taken away from you and given to the people who will produce its fruit. Anyone who falls on this stone will be broken to pieces. Anyone whom it falls will be crushed. So he's almighty sovereign. But you and I, when we come to Christ, we fall upon that stone and we're broken. Right? He said upon this rock, I'll build my church. Right? He's the rock. He's the stone not cut with hands. He's the Messiah. But if we refuse him, then there's a day of judgment coming. So the world's judge, the antichrist kingdom's judge, you know, the whole world under the sway of the antichrist where he destroys them. But also individually, you and I, when we come to Christ, we either fall upon him be broken, or there's a day of judgment coming where he's gonna fall upon us and grind us to powder. Zechariah twelve three. And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people. All that burden themselves with it shall be cut into pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it. And so the city of Jerusalem, eventually America, everybody gonna turn their back upon Jerusalem, upon Israel. They're gonna be left alone, a burdensome stone, a burden to the whole world, and that stone that's not cut with hand is gonna return and wipe all of them out. And Psalm two, a portion of Psalm two, all of the heathen rage. Go ahead. A portion? Well, you can read the whole thing if you want. It's 12 verses. Sure. K. Why do the heathen rage and the people imagine a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together against the Lord and against his anointed, saying, let us break their bands asunder and cast away their cords from us. He that sitteth in the heaven shall laugh. The Lord shall have them in derision. Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath and vex them in his sore displeasure. Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion. I will declare the decree that the Lord hath said unto me, thou art my son. This day have I begotten thee. Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession. Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron. Thou shalt dash them in pieces as a pottered vessel. Be wise now, therefore, o you kings. Be instructed, you judges of the earth. Serve the Lord with fear and rejoice with trembling. Kiss the son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him. Amen. So is is that allegorical? It has that ever happened yet? No. Is it allegorical or literal? Is it gonna happen or not happen? It's gonna happen. It's literal. Right? And so it's it's so comforting to read the Bible and to let the Bible teach the Bible that we don't have to impose upon it, you know, our own ideas, our own slant, if you will. The Bible fits. It just fits like a glove. It's just so amazing. It's really hard to prove that there is no literal millennium, no literal return of Christ and setting up his kingdom upon earth. You how can you prove that with the bible? You just can't. But it just falls right into place all through the Bible to describe Jesus returning, setting up his kingdom, and ruling and reigning for a thousand years. In Isaiah chapter two verse two, it says, and it shall come to pass in the last days that the mountain of the Lord's house shall be established in the top of the mountains and shall be exalted above the hills, and all nations shall flow into it. So is that literal or symbolic? When have all nations ever flowed into, you know, Jerusalem? It hasn't happened yet, but it's going to. Right? And so when it talks about this mountain, the stone that smote the image became a great mountain and filled the whole earth, that's a dominant global kingdom that king Jesus is gonna rule and reign as king of kings and lord of lords. Alright. The next one, Isaiah twenty eight sixteen. Therefore, thus saith the lord god, behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation, a stone, a tried stone, a precious cornerstone, a sure foundation. He that believes shall not make haste. Isn't that great? It's awesome. Any other verses you wanna proof text? There's lots of them, but we'll we'll keep going. Alright. Verse 36. So the interpretation verses 36 through 34. So we got the dream in verses 31 through 35, and now we have, the interpretation. Remember when Jesus spoke of the seed and the sower and, you know, the casting out the the seed, part of the seed fell upon the wayside soil, another part of the seed, you know, wound up on the rock, the rock type soil, and the third one was the weedy soil. The fourth one, was good soil and gave forth. Now what's what I like about that parable, that story, is Jesus interprets it for us. Don't you like that? Yeah. No no if, ands, or buts about it. It's a picture of the gospel going out and the type of soil of people's hearts. You know? Now here, we have the holy spirit gonna interpret that dream for us. Right? I like that. We don't have to speculate. So this is the dream, and we will tell its interpretation before the king. So Daniel and notice it says we. Who's the we? Was Daniel alone in this? No. No. That's Like queen Esther, he had some prayer warriors. Right? Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. Right? They were all praying. So this is the dream, and we will tell its interpretation before the king. And, thou, oh, king, are the king of kings, For the god of heaven, we saw in verse 28, the god of heaven, god of heaven. So Nebuchadnezzar is being introduced to this god of heaven, has given thee a kingdom. So it's been given to him power and strength and glory. And so, and the strength is gonna be an increasing strength as we go through the various four world empires. And wherever the children of men dwell, the beasts of the field and the fowls of heaven, has he given unto thine hand and has made the ruler over them all? Thou art this head of gold. So this glorious city of gold, Babylon, and, one of the seven wonders, his gardens, you know, of ancient world, and, and so been given to you. So so it's not a picture or description of total global empire. His empire didn't expand everywhere. But if he wanted to, if he wanted to continue to expand and continue to go, God would give it to him. That's what he's saying. You're my man, and, I'd give you it all. And now Adam was told to be fruitful to multiply, take dominion over the earth. Right? Our first federal head, but then we see the fall, and now we have human government. And and in this this monarchy, king Nebuchadnezzar is gonna be used of God to to prepare a remnant of people that are gonna go back and, you know, rebuild the temple and all, but to discipline the nation of Israel. And God disciplined them primarily because of their idolatry, so he sends them to the epicenter, the capital of idolatry, that of Babylon. And, now he speaks of the second and third world empires. And after thee shall arise another kingdom inferior to thee and and the third kingdom. So in verse 39, you get two kingdoms, two just just in one verse, bronze, which shall bear rule over the earth. And so the Medo Persian empire from May to March. The Grecian empire, March to sixty three BC, hundred and eighty five years. And it divided up among, we'll see later, among Alexander the Great's generals. Six of his generals were vying for control, and it wound up being divided into four regions. And so that was the the Grecian empire conquering the Medo Persian empire. And then Daniel eight twenty one describes that. And it broke up in Syria, and Egypt was another part of it later after after the death of Alexander. And an important thing here is that God was preparing the translation or transmission of the Bible. The New Testament had been written yet. Now when Israel went into captivity in Babylon, they they later moved into Alexandria, Egypt. A lot of them became businessmen and all. So what happened is to the Hebrew language, it became a lost language later. And so they took and they translated the Old Testament into the Septuagint. And the Septuagint had 70 scholars in seventy days take the Old Testament, put it into Greek. The reason is is the Grecian empire that God allowed to be global, God wanted the Greek language, the Koine Greek language to be the language that he would use to write the New Testament because it's so incredibly powerful. So even though the Romans conquered the Greeks, the Hellenistic culture of Greek speaking Jews, Jews who were cultured by by Greece, you saw that with Stephen. Remember in Acts chapter six? And, there were people who were Jews, women, and they were fighting over the distribution of the wealth. And so you have deacons appointed, Philip and Stephen were two that they appointed that were, Hellenistic. The Hellenistic widows were were, being overlooked. And and so but interesting that he's preparing the whole world, just as he was preparing in the time of Caesar Augustus that the whole world would be taxed. God's using the Roman emperor to bring Mary and Joseph back to Bethlehem because it was time for Jesus to be born. So he uses a taxation from Caesar Augustus, then everybody had to go back to their hometown. You know? So God's ruling and reigning over this whole thing, but he allows these kings, and the stage is always being set for God's will to be done. Revelation seventeen seventeen says that God is putting in the hearts of these globalists, these leaders, to do his will. Presently, the world stage is being set to culminate with the return of Jesus Christ. The stage is being set. That's not doom and gloom. That's exciting. It's very, very exciting that the Lord Jesus is coming again. And, I'm not in love with the world so much that I want him to delay his coming. I'm old enough now that, even so, come quickly, Lord Jesus. You know? Kathy was watching and reading something today that just totally saddened her and broke her heart. And if you pull back the curtain and you see how filthy, wicked, and evil in actuality this world is, how could you not cry out for God to come? Even so, come quickly, Lord Jesus. She saw articles on human trafficking of children and what they do in China, what they do all over the world, in America, and everywhere. And you just you just think this can't go on much longer. The Lord just as in Genesis, it repented God in Genesis six that he made man because the thoughts and intents of man's heart were only evil continually. The degradation of man, of mankind, the things that we're doing to each other, it's like a dog that needs to be put down. It's gotta be put to sleep. We need Jesus to come back and set up his kingdom quick because, the demonic forces are just and the depravity of man, not just the demonic forces, but the natural man, the natural instincts of man doesn't get better. Globalists with trillions of dollars and billions of dollars don't make a better world. They make a more demonic world in their depravity, in their in their I believe many of them are demonically possessed, inspired by the devil. So Alexander is 33 years old, when he takes the throne, when he when he takes over, and, he shall be they'll rule all over all the earth. The fourth world empire, Rome, and and the fourth kingdom shall be strong as iron. So you're gonna see a decreasing in value from the gold to the silver to the bronze, now the iron, but you're gonna see an increase in strength. The Pax Romana, the Romans just crushed everybody. Now, again, why do you think the Lord put the Romans in power when he did in the type of imperial type government they were. Why do you think he did that? Pardon me? The coin. In in which way? How? How would that aid Christ coming into the world? They're they're Yep. The Pax Romana. Right? Which means what? All the nations are subdued. It's Roman rule. And like Rob's saying, they built bridges. They built roads. They built the infrastructure all over the known world so that the gospel could go forth, so that missionaries and people could travel. The apostle Paul is able to travel by ship, you know. When you destabilize the region right now, when you have a strong leader, strong, then it keeps all of the tribal aspects at bay. If you remove, Qaddafi from Libya, what fills that void? What fills that vacuum? Craziness. Right? If you remove the, Saddam Hussein from Iraq, what fills that void? If you remove Assad from Syria right now, what fills that void? You have you have terrorists fill that void. But when you have a strong man in Egypt like Mubarak, he's not gonna allow the Christians in the region to be decimated by the Muslims. Right? You're gonna be the minority. So the Kurds that are in Northern Iraq are gonna be protected by Saddam Hussein, and you're not gonna allow the Persians of Iran to to wipe them out or whatever. So but when you destabilize the region, now, you have chaos. And, so Rome taking authority and taking control of all these tribal type people and all these different governments and places, they made a they ruled with an iron fist, so to speak. There's 60,000,000 slaves during that time, but as far as getting the gospel out, the apostle Paul is able to write much of the New Testament from Roman prisons. You know? So that's part of what the Lord is setting up here, getting ready. For as much as iron breaks in pieces and subdues all things as iron that breaks, all these shall it break in pieces and bruise. So the destruction, the Pax Romana, and the Roman empire was united. That was part of their strength. They were united. Whereas the Medo Persians had the Medes and the Persians, so they weren't as strong as united front that the Romans brought, to the table. And whereas thou saw the feet and toes part of potter's clay and part of iron, the kingdom shall be divided, but there shall be in it. So this kingdom later later is gonna be the 10 toes. Later, you're gonna see a dividing of the rebirth of that kingdom into 10 different, regions, if you will, and, kings or technocrats, however it may play out. Years ago in the eighties, people thought that it might be the European Union, that the European Union was being divided into 10, and then it went to six, and it went to 13 or 14. So it's not the European Union. So the Club of Rome has a map of the world divided into 10 regions. So when Donald j Trump describes Canada and America and Greenland and the Panama Canal, you're kinda moving in a direction of dividing the world up into a new grid, if you will. And, with one king over each of them, and then later the Antichrist come along leading all of them. So so part of iron and the kingdom shall be divided. So we see with the 10, they're divided in such a way that three fight against the 10, the Antichrist, and they're subdued, and then the Antichrist becomes the eight. So not as not as united and shall be divided. But then also, the Roman Empire is divided East West toward the April. The West is Rome and 1430 53 East. And, its headquarters is what we call Istanbul, Turkey today, which was Constantinople. Kathy and I got to go into the, Blue Mosque. I think it's the Blue Mosque, but we actually got to go into a building that Constantine had built, and I think it turned into the Blue Mosque. But, the Crusaders, remember the Crusades? And so there's a time where the Christians are crusading, then there's a time around June when the Mohammedans, Islam, the dominance over the seven churches, the book of revelation trying to push toward the West. And, but in 03/13, AD, Constantine institutionalized the church and the the Roman empire divided into two parts, the East and West. And so so you got the Greek Orthodox Church and the Roman Catholic Church divided and and the strength of the iron for as much as thou sawest iron mixed with with clay. And so so the 10 toes, and then what comes after that in Daniel, seven verse seven, horns. And then, Revelation 13 and Revelation seventeen twelve, you've got, crowns and actual kings, 10 kings. So the Bible describing the last days, seven is seven of Daniel, the rebirth of the Roman Empire, and the type of empire it's going to be is empirical, a monarchy emperors. And and as the toes and the feet were part of iron and part of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong and partly broken in the end times. And, and whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men. Now this is where JD tries to tie it in. Mingle themselves with the seed of men, where they take the the clay, human beings, and try to mix their seed with technology. And, I don't I'm not sure about that. I know Elon Musk with his chip and, the technology moving in a direction to track and trace everybody. And the, devil doesn't have the ability to be an omniscient to know everything. But if they put, right now, we're watching the spike proteins that are reproducing in people's bodies and, the five g technology and the nanoparticles and all the different ways they're trying to make as Catherine Austin Fitts said, they're trying to make a software system within human beings that can then be monitored and tracked and traced and spoken where you can hear stuff and they can I mean, they dream of being able to know what you're thinking, which is godlike, and they're not gonna be able to do that? But they are moving in a direction apparently where some people that are blind blind signs and wonders, you know, Revelation 13, where you can be able to make the blind be able to see and people that have broken spine be able to take neurologically and make make it all connect again to make them be able to walk and stuff, so the lame to walk. So a counterfeit with Jesus, you know and I'm all for technology. Praise the Lord for that technology. If it's used for good and used for, helping people, praise the Lord for doctors and that sort of technology. But, but to take away my freedom and to suck my soul out of me, to give my soul to the devil, you know, no. Thank you. So so and whereas thou saw iron mixed with clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men, but they shall not adhere one to another even as iron is not mixed with clay. And so there's gonna be a fight that goes on, and it could very well be the the three fighting against the 10, and, they're subdued, and then the antichrist becomes the eight. And, others think it might be in that they try to implement some sort of democracy, the clay speaking of people. I don't think that's it. Alright. And on the day of the kings shall the god of heaven set up a kingdom which shall never be destroyed. What kingdom is that? So on the day of the kings, he's coming back to subdue them. Right? As Jim read in Psalm two, they get wiped out. Right? And as we read in Isaiah two verse two, there's a mountain of the Lord. Right? A whole new kingdom coming. So he's the stone not cut with hands. Right? And, so speaking of the Messiah, the son of man, Jesus Christ, and, the God of heaven set up a kingdom which shall never be destroyed, And the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand forever. And so the age it's gonna fulfill the age that was designed for, the millennial age. Gonna stand forever, gonna crush everybody else, and he's gonna rule and reign with a rod of righteousness. Right? For as much as thou saw the the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, speaking of Jesus, and that it broke in pieces the iron, the bronze, the clay, the silver, the gold, the great God has made known to the king what shall come to pass hereafter, and the dream is certain, and the interpretation of it, sure. So again, in in Revelation nineteen fifteen through 18, Jesus is king of kings and lord of lords, and he returns with with the angels, And, he's bringing his bride with him in his second coming, and we're just observing. And, and he's gonna set up his kingdom upon earth, and he's gonna rule and reign, for a thousand years. Is that okay? A literal thousand Then the king Nebuchadnezzar fell upon his face. Now think how interesting that is that God tells you ahead of time these global kingdoms that are coming. Now we're looking back through history, and it was all fulfilled. So your faith is built upon eyewitness testimony of Jesus' death, burial, and resurrection. But you also, as Peter says, have the more sure word of prophecy that your faith is based upon a God who cannot lie, who tells the truth, who keeps his promises 100%. So why wouldn't people be students of prophecy? Why wouldn't they want to be excited about God fulfilling his word, his promises, you know, unto us? I don't I don't get it. And and as I said yesterday, if I had to attend a church that was imbecilic clown show, and they were they were just like I can't even say the word because it would offend somebody, people that we love. Don't wanna offend them. Imbecilic. Brain dead, you know, drooling, you know, they're it's it's like it's like how idiotic can you be what you do in these churches? I I would go there and I would just walk right out and I'd say, like like my dad and a lot of people, they can't find churches. They're searching for churches that teach the bible. They're hard to find. And and I would be that guy if I wasn't a pastor and if I wasn't here, I would the very most important thing for Kathy and I, our whole marriage has been the first thing we check out is where's a good church. More important, your house, your job, your everything, because your spiritual vitality is the most important thing. So without the without the spiritual seeking first the kingdom of God in his righteousness, you know, you're messed up. And so what's a profit of man to gain the whole world, lose his own soul, or any given life? So even even though you're saved, now you're gonna be Lot. You wanna be Lot? You wanna be Lot trapped? You're a believer, but you wanna be Lot trapped in Sodom and Gomorrah? Wouldn't you rather be with Abraham? You know, cruising, looking for the city whose builder maker is God. You know? And without all the sodomites and all the filth and the worried about your children being permeated with that filth and your wife, her mind, and it just no. I told Rob and Vicky tonight that when I first started out being a pastor, one of the things they told us, the way to get your church to grow was by being a teacher of the bible. And what they said was, if you learn to teach the bible and you actually give them the bible like Jesus said to Peter, feed my sheep, and like Paul said, the full counsel of God, that God will bring his sheep to a place where they can be fed. What's changed since then? What's changed since then? Where where are the sheep that would wanna attend a church like this? Where are they? We're in the last days. So Paul said in the last days, men would be looking for teachers having itching ears. So I transitioned from a time where, and so did you, where there were bible teaching churches and Christians wanted to be fed, and that was the standard they held the pastors by, to Rick Warren's idiocy. And it's not about teaching the bible, it's about doing good deeds. So you bring a social gospel, a social gospel to change the community by removing graffiti on the walls. Kathy told me about some Seattle people, nice Seattle people, that were over there cleaning the walls of all the graffiti from the Antifa recently. And tell them what happened, Kathy. Hard thing. And what was that government agency? It was Homeland Security. And the guy couldn't even speak English. Yeah. That lady said to him, I don't understand why was it legal for them to do the graffiti and nobody stopped them, but we're trying to clean it up, and you're telling us we can't. So your social gospel doesn't work because evil just continues to ramp up. So preaching the real gospel and calling and see, they wouldn't use the word repentance in their social gospel. They wouldn't call hell hell anymore or sin sin. So what happened was we've got a whole group of people that are unbelievers in the churches. And the churches are running it like a business, and they're just trying to, as Vicky said, entertain them and tickle them, and like Marlene said. And, they've gotta give them psychology and self help and therapy. And Paul tells us what's gonna happen. They're going to not endure sound doctrine, Puget Sound doctrine. They're not gonna they're not gonna endure it. They won't they won't go for wholesome food. They're gonna heap the themselves teachers having itching ears, and they're gonna demand that the pastors shorten the sermon, very little of the word of God, and tickle me. Make me laugh. Make me feel good. I like living in ignorance. Ignorance is bliss. So don't tell me about prophecy. Don't tell me about the end of the world. Tell me how I can have a better family, better house, more money, you know, my best life now. And and it unfortunately, what I was taught, they even said they even used the phrase of the Kevin Costner movie, if you build it, they will come. Yeah. Fill the dreams. They used that one on us. They even had t shirts at the pastor's conference when I first went there. It said, if you teach it, they will come. And man, I've I've dedicated my life to studying the word, digging in and teaching it for thirty years, and it's never it's not what people want. So all you can conclude is it's apostasy. They're looking for doctrines of demons and fables. They're being seduced. They're being deceived. And and like I said before, it's really sad because there isn't a transformation, a true transformation of regeneration where people are born again and they begin to change. They still have the same alcohol problems, the same pop problem, same lust problem, same greed problem, same carnal, fleshly difficulty, and it simply become, you know, Club Med or the Elks Club or or whatever you wanna call it. But it's it's it's not a New Testament church where lives are transformed and changed. So without the transformation and the change of being born again, Kathy and I, we would have never gone to church because we're not club people. We don't like religious people. We don't like it. They're boring, and they're hypocrites. But when I found out it was real, when I found out that God was transforming and changing people and could, give me and Kathy a fresh new start as human beings and that our life could be built upon Jesus and that it's real, that He actually by the power of His Holy Spirit will change us from glory to glory in the image of His Son. Man, that was exciting. It is exciting, still exciting. But anyway, the churches, these large churches, by and large, are not Bible teaching churches. They are clown shows, and the people love it so. And the people are the ones that determine. They vote with their feet. They can leave if they want. But they don't have a desire because they're unbelievers. They're not saved. So it's a lukewarm lay the scene church where people rule, and the pastor goes along with it because he's a hireling. And it's a mark of the times we're living in. It's and it's so incredibly sad. And so Jan Markell and her guys and Brendan Holthaus, they have what's called remnant churches all around the country. Now in Iran, they're not having this problem. Why is that? Because Islam's a fraud. They're coming out of Islam, and they're coming to Christianity, and they want everything they get. They don't care how much suffering there is. They want Jesus. You know? And and I believe they'd show up for a bible study like this in droves because they're thirsty and hungry. They're not playing church. It's costing them to be a Christian. They could die in Iran. And if they can get a hold of a bible in China, part of a bible, you know, they're hungry for it. And we so as long as I know what's going on, I'm okay. I can't change it. I can't fix it. I can't make people like us. All I can do is teach the word and allow the Lord to send his sheep because he still has some sheep that'll he'll send that are hungry for his word, but not as many as there used to be because there's a falling away from the truth. That's the apostasia that's taken place. So I'm I'm very excited about this study in Daniel and Galatians, and I love meeting with you guys and studying the bible. And and this is this is meat. This isn't milk. You guys are coming for meat tonight, and we we we supply milk too. But remember how we read? I read for you in, Hebrews chapter five and six that part of the way that you learn to discern between good and evil is that you begin to eat solid food. As a babe in Christ, you're gonna be tricked. You're gonna have a very difficult time discerning between good and evil. The carnal fleshly Christian is like the world. He allows the the flesh to dominate his life. And he's like a baby, and everybody loves a baby. Little, Toby is eating solid food now, and he's really and we love him at that stage. But if he is 15 years old, still going gaga gaga, you know, and wanting his mom to nurse him, we would we would say there's a problem there. There there's a there's a problem there. And that's how a lot of these churches are. You've got these infants. You've got people and I don't even think they're saved because of their diet. They they don't show a desire. They don't hold the pastor that this pastor that Rob showed me a video of, people are asking him about the rapture and asking him about prophecy, and he just mocked them. He got up there and mocked the notion. He mocked the idea that we would be looking for the return of Jesus. And then he went into his sales pitch, and he used the word devoted. What really it comes down to is that you're devoted to God. Well, I can interpret devoted, and his interpretation is give more money. That's what that means. That's what that word means to him. One of the earmarks of a cult is it's always works centered. It's always you doing more. You working. And so you get these people in this mode like, like it used to be the Catholics like this where you've got to work, you've to be a good person, you've got to do good things, you know. And we can even sell you indulgences, you know. And we can you give us enough money, we can get your relatives out of purgatory. Right? Get them into heaven. And, you can come down to the church. You don't need to go to the bars. You can come down to the church, and we got a bowling alley in the basement with a bar. That's Catholic church one zero one. And I have to say this too, I think a lot of the problem we're having with the younger generations is they just don't know what it's like to be an unbeliever and to grow up in an unbeliever's home, an alcoholic home, drug addict home, very little money kind of a home, a lot of cigarettes and just spending money on vices, you know. And I had a great childhood, but let me tell you, alcoholic homes are ugly. And when you go back later and you see the destruction of your grandparents and your parents and nieces, nephews, and your classmates that you started drinking with in ninth grade, and you see them twenty, thirty years later, they're devastated by alcohol. It's devastating. So these pastors that sit there and say, I'm gonna drink alcohol and be cool. These young people coming up out of Christian homes saying, I wanna drink and drug and whatever be cool. I saw Kelly Slater today who's a who's a surfer, best in the world, the goat. And he said that he and I don't even think he's a believer in Jesus. But he has a value system that his mom taught him because his dad was a raging alcoholic. And it made his mom have to work a lot to to take care of the three boys. And so when he's a young guy, he started surfing, and he want his dad saw him do some maneuvers, and it was really cool to see his dad do see that. He was wanting to please his dad like kids that play baseball and everything. And, and he said that his mom told him that there's no positive future in doing alcohol. There's nothing positive in your future by doing alcohol or drugs. Nothing good will come out of it. So he said, and I'm thinking of verses in the bible as he's saying that. All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient, and I won't be brought under the power of any. So expedient means profitable. I evaluate everything I'm gonna do, the profit and loss. What's the profit of Kathy and I incorporating alcohol in our home and being teetotalers and not getting drunk? Jesus turned the water to wine and do that whole thing. Is there anything profitable that can come out of that? Is there a possibility that Jessica and Brittany or others might stumble and wind up becoming alcoholics? Could be. And even though he didn't have any alcohol, Jessica did. So there you go. But, anyway, Kelly says that what he did in the surfing was he stayed away from drugs and alcohol, and he stayed away from kids in the surfing culture. As he's on the tour, anybody that did drug drugs and alcohol, he did not hang out with those people. And, so consequently, you're healthy. And here's what his mom told him. Put your whole heart into that which you love. And he loves surfing, so he put his whole heart into it. You and I, whatsoever you do, do it heartily as unto the Lord, not unto men. Put your whole heart in it. And so I'm not going to live my life based upon the decision of other people that don't like Jesus and don't like his word. I'm gonna put my whole heart into getting to know Jesus, studying his word, and I'm grateful for a small remnant of people that God sends connects me with that will still, that still cherish and want to study God's word. And so we don't have to, and one more thing. Pastor Chuck, when they used to say that if you teach it, they will come, they had a formula, didn't they? And they used to think of themselves as really good Bible teachers, which many of them were. And then there came a day where pastor Chuck's never had before, but a lot of empty seats. That Rick Warren thing hit hard, And there were a lot of empty seats, and a lot of the Calvary pastors began to panic because they were losing people. And Chuck said, stay the course. Don't worry how big your church is. You know? And then you had guys like Ken Ortiz who tried the secret friendly movement of Bill Heibels and all them. And he said, yeah, the church grew, but it was like a lake that was only half an inch deep. There's no depth. And it was working, trying to every week work and entertain and come up with a new way to entertain and keep them there. So he went back to teaching the Bible. You know? So we wanna be healthy. We wanna go deep. So when I study, I try to go deep. I try to dig into the word to to learn so that then I can teach. And So in any event, that's that's how I look at the study of the book of Daniel. It's pretty in-depth here. This isn't this isn't something, you're gonna get at at, any of these churches around here. They don't do it. Pastor Kevin Lee does, but that's probably, the only one that I know of, you know, around us here. So so far as much as you saw the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands and it broke in pieces, the iron, the bronze, the clay, the silver, the gold, the great god made known to the king what shall come to pass hereafter, and the dream is certain and the interpretation is sure. So sometimes I'm making fun of people that do dreams and visions. If your dream and vision is legit and it's consistent with the word of God, I'm all for it. Share it. And we wanna see the interpretation thereof, and we wanna see the fulfillment thereof. But I don't want to be I wanna caution you of being tricked by people on YouTube and everywhere else that say they're basing the direction they're moving on or or thinking based upon a dream or a vision that they had and trying to get you to believe that dream or vision, but you can't substantiate it with the word of God. You can't check it out with the word of God. So Nebby, you know, he's he wants to validate the dream that he has, and Daniel's able to validate and bring it forth. And then we have history. We have it happening in the future to prove that Daniel, didn't just come up with this, you know, himself. And now you should be able to go rather than trying to woo a person and get them to, oh, wow. Did you hear that? They had a dream. They got a vision. You should be able to quote this and have a person say, you mean to tell me the Bible predicted the Babylonian Empire? Come on. The Medo Persian Empire? Iran? Come on. How could the Bible do that? Alexander the Great? Are you kidding me? The Roman Empire? And there's gonna be a rebirth of the Roman Empire? Come on. And the Israel in the land and king Jesus coming back, that's prophecy. Do you think people are interested? Why are they so interested in Jonathan Cahn's latest dream? Why don't they get excited about revealed prophecy, fulfilled prophecy, and be a student of it? Why are they ignorant of the Bible looking, being set up to be deceived by many lying signs and wonders of the antichrist. That's what's happening. They don't have a knowledge of the truth. And that's why Jesus said, be not deceived. Take heed that no man deceive you. And in Hebrews five, they can't discern between good and evil because they don't know their bible. Jesus said, you know the truth. The truth will set you free or keep you free. The way that you you find a fraud is by knowing the truth. And the more of the truth, thy word have I hid my heart that I might not sin against thee even personally as we study God's word. So verse 46, then the king Nebuchadnezzar fell upon his face and worshiped Daniel. That's a that's a problem there. Don't wanna worship a man and worship God. Remember we've talked a little bit about the worshiping of man, the Christian celebrities today? And we appreciate the Christian celebrities. We appreciate the Greg Lorries and the Jack Hibbs and the Raul Rees' and these wonderful pastors that have these huge churches and do great huge things, you know, for the kingdom of God. But you do not want to worship the instrument. You do not want to live your Christian life through another person. You wanna be in the game. You wanna make contact. You want to apply everything you're learning because as you apply it, you get more in Mark four, that light, that revelation. So you don't you don't wanna sit in the stands or sit in the pews and not be a student of God's word or be a prayer warrior and share the gospel and and, short term mission trips or teach children in Sunday school. There's so many things that we can do with what the Lord's equipped us with to, exercise our own gifts. So I would say, like, you know, just be careful of the hero worship and the the celebrity Christianity. So Daniel's definitely gonna be a celebrity in Babylon for a while. And and worship Daniel and command that they should offer an ablation and sweet odors unto him. Now in chapter three, when we get there, where's Daniel at? Shadrach, Meshach, Abednego got to bow down to that image, and they got to go into a fiery furnace. Where's Daniel? You know? How quickly it can change from being a celebrity. Shadrach, Meshach, and Bednar are part of this. They're gonna be rewarded. And then next week, you know, chapter three, according to VeggieTales, man, they're in a pickle, man. They're in trouble. So big pickle. So be very careful. Who else can you think of where people bow down to worship them? Musicians. Musicians. Yeah. In the Bible. Paul and Barnabas. Remember? Oh, yeah. Mercury and Jupiter. Right? And they said, men were men of like passions as ye. Worship God. So you be careful. You don't take the worship. You don't take the adulation from people that belongs only to God. So you could do what I do when people come up to worship me and tell me how great I am. Mhmm. Happens once in while. Vicky's yawning. Sorry. You deflect it by saying praise the Lord. So you get their attention off the instrument, off the vessel, thank them, but point them back to God. Praise the Lord. God, I'm just a tool. He's reaching the toolbox and he says, Rick, you're a hammer. I can use a hammer. I want you to hammer these people. Rick, you're a pliers. You're screwdriver. You're pretty twisted. But in any event, if that tool is in the hand of the master, he can accomplish a lot of things, right, if you're yielded. So it's he gets the glory. It's not the tool. We're just the tool that he chooses to use. And remember this, that if you've got a wife like mine, she always reminds you that Balaam's donkey can speak, so don't worry about that. You know? And Jesus said the rocks would cry out, so you could be a rock head. And, so be cautious. And we also remember John the beloved in the book of Revelation. He's bowing down to angels. Can't do that. When we get into Galatians this week, Paul says, if if anybody else comes with a different gospel, including the angel Moroni, let him be anathema. Right? Yeah. Don't don't fall for the golden tickets and and the super eyeglasses and the tablets that Joseph Smith found and and the angel Moroni come along. You know? I mean, people believe that stuff. Whole cult has developed out of that. Crazy. Crazy stuff. So we're not gonna do that. We're gonna worship God only. And, if you ever see a man or a woman receiving that adulation, receiving that praise, receiving that worship from people, run. Get out of there. That's a very dangerous place to be. And Kathy just wouldn't tolerate it when the women are all flocking past her Chuck. She just she just walked the other way. And Chuck's eyes fall on her. Why aren't you over here? You know? And she goes, I gave my heart only to one man, Rick Bodrey. Yeah. Noted Jesus. So the king answered unto Daniel and said, of a truth, it is that your god your god now his god needs to become Nebbe's god. Your god is the god of gods. He's the true and living god. So a plurality of, you know, demonic idols everywhere. God to this, God to that. Apostle Paul in Acts 17 on Mars Hill, the city wholly given over to idolatry. Little g gods for everything, you know. And when Kathy watches the cooking show out of Europe, out of England, she said that what's really sad is, they'll quote stuff like, well, if the gods of cooking are watching, you know, or helping us, you know. And so it it you know, that's sacrilege, know, there's a true and living God. And the lord of kings. So he's the lord Adonai, the lord of lords, king of kings of of his host, the lord of host, the armies of heaven, and a revealer of secrets. God reveals the secrets. So if we're looking at first Corinthians, you know, twelve thirteen and fourteen, we're looking at the gifts of the spirit. Part of the gifts of the spirit is God can give you prophecy. God can give you the word of knowledge. God can give you a word of knowledge about something or someone, and it will cause the church to humble. You know, if if you if it's done right and the Lord uses you in that way, God can use you with a word of knowledge to reveal a secret. Be be careful with that gift. It isn't a gift you can use all the time. There's certain certain times where, Kathy will say, you know, or I'll say, we meet somebody. We're in a certain situation. Hey. I think the Lord spoke to me. You know, in my heart, got a red flag, and, I think God's revealing this to me about that person. And then we keep our mouth quiet, and we observe and wait. And in many cases, Kathy's discernment's correct. So you ladies, a lot of you have women's intuition. It's it's a discernment. It's a gift that God can give us, supernatural gift. I believe that God is speaking to all of us a lot and we don't necessarily hear Him if we slow down enough to let Him speak. As little Samuel, servant's listening. Speak, Lord. Your servant's listening. Just a little boy, and the Lord was speaking to him. And so a revealer of secrets, seeing thou couldest reveal, this secret. So remember at Pentecost, Peter quoted Joel two that your young men shall dream dreams and your old men shall see visions. Right? And so I'm still getting dream dreams. Right? Yeah. So here here we see where God set the stage. God set the stage for all of this to happen so that Daniel would be able to reveal the God of heaven to the Babylonian Empire. And this is going to carry over with the reward that Daniel gets. Check this out. This is going to carry over all the way to the birth of Jesus. Why do I say that? Because Daniel is made a governor, but he's also given the position over all of the astrologers, the stargazers, the magicians, the Chaldeans. So why is that important in Matthew chapter two? And where did they come from? Yeah. Yeah. Thousands of thousands. And I'm not sure it's three, but that's okay. Oh. And I think we even know their name. Meldak? No. I know. Yeah. Now now these wise men were looking for what, Rob? His star. So Daniel's teaching them something about the the Mazrov. Is that what you call it? The Mazrov? The According to Chuck Missler, it's the gospel written in the stars. The Mazroth. And God revealing himself through creation. And in any event, they had a knowledge of the stars such that this particular star, Shekinah Glory of God, actually moved and brought them over the very house that Jesus was in when he was two years old. Remember that? The star of David. And so fascinating that this carries over to that point. So then the king made Daniel a great man and gave him many great gifts and made him ruler ruler over the whole province of Babylon and chief of the governors over all the wise men of Babylon. So two parts. He's like Joseph. Remember Joseph? Joseph interpreted the dreams, and then when he interpret the dream and he gave the, what was happening, the seven years of drought and all that, the pharaoh said, you're you're promoted to just under me. You're gonna be the most powerful guy in the whole Egyptian empire except for me, and everyone's gonna have to do what you're saying. So he began to, store up food knowing that a famine was coming in seven years. And so in Genesis chapter forty one thirty nine through 46, Joseph, just like Daniel's, elevated. But that season of preparation was in prison and being sold into slavery from 17, and not until he was 30, the same age as Jesus, Joseph being a type of Jesus, he came into his public ministry. Now Daniel, horrible thing to see what's happened to his country, to his family, to the temple in Jerusalem, but God's still using them. And no matter what kind of bad things may happen out there, don't ever think that God can't use you right where he's planted you, right where he's moved you, and and that he's not looking future to do something even greater. That part of your work would carry over to the wise men going to Bethlehem and searching for the king of the Jews. Now another one I think of when it says here, and Daniel requested of the king and he asked Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, to go over the affairs of the province of Babylon, but Daniel sat at the gate of the king. So sitting at the gate of the king means you're part of the leadership, and another person that we think of that sat at the gate was who? Lot. And how tragic was that? And so Lot was a part of the ruling echelon of Sodom and Gomorrah, And it just started with a fight with the herdsman, and then it carried over to picking the best for himself. He set pitches tent toward the best grass and all that, pitching it towards Sodom and Gomorrah, and that slippery slope of compromise with the world. You got Daniel uncompromising with the world. Shadrach, Meshach, Abednego, uncompromising. Won't even eat the king's diet. They won't bow down chapter three for nothing to the king, only to God. Right? And then you got Lot. His soul was vexed day by day for the filthiness, the decadence of Sodom and Gomorrah. And his influence was such that he couldn't even influence his own family. His own family were not influenced by his faith in Jesus. His wife turned back and yearned for Sodom. And his daughters, their husbands wouldn't come. And he had some other kids, they didn't come, married couples. So he's got these two girls and he's willing to give them to the to the mob and he got father of the year, but but how tragic. And the only way I know he's saved is Peter says in righteous lot. So there's hope for me. There's hope for you. So Daniel requested, so Daniel's making sure that the we, Shadrach, Meshach, Abednego, his prayer partners, his his boys, that they're all there in this place of of leadership, and a place of influence. And chapter three starts twenty three years later. So from chapter two to chapter three, which we'll go to next week. Alright. Well, let's pray. Father, we just thank you that we can study the the book. Thank you that we got to spend two weeks on Daniel two, and we're not in a hurry. Lord, I pray that we could dig, that we could mine, that we could dig in and learn each time we go through the book of Daniel, learn new things, and learn more about your prophetic word, and help us, Lord, to as a as a as a foundation is laid of the times of the Gentiles, Lord, that as we have that foundation laid in our heart, we understand the times we're living in, that, Lord, it would help us to to see up ahead the tribulation period, the rebirth of the Roman Empire that's that's morphing, that's starting to happen. And that we'd understand with certainty, Lord, that this was prophesied and that the temple is gonna be rebuilt in Jerusalem, and that there is no replacement theology, that that the church is distinctly different than that of the nation of Israel, and that your promises to Israel, your unconditional covenant in Jeremiah 31 is gonna be fulfilled. And that blindness in part has happened unto Israel in the church age until the fullness of the Gentiles be come in. And there is a day coming in your return, Lord, where the times of the Gentiles will cease. And, Lord, you will rule and reign as king of kings and David as your prince and the 12 apostles each on thrones, and we will rule and reign as kings and priests also in your millennial kingdom, Lord. So, God, I I thank you for this this hope that we have, the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and savior. Lord, I pray more and more that we'd be excited, that we'd watch him, we'd be ready, and that we'd let other people know of the joy that that's within our heart, the anticipation of your soon return. So bless, Lord, we pray in Jesus' name. Amen. Now one more thing. Do you guys want to see seven proofs? Seven proofs, seven reasons why the church cannot be the messianic kingdom. Number one, the kingdom of God will be set up on earth like other four kingdoms in Daniel two. Replacement theology often places the kingdom in heaven. K? Daniel two thirty five and forty four, Revelation twenty one two. So the kingdom of God will be set up on earth. And we read Matthew 25 where the king comes back with the angels and sets up his kingdom on earth. Acts two, in conjunction with acts 11, proves that the church began in the first century. The fourth kingdom was in its first, not its final stage then, so the Roman Empire. It was ruled by a single king, but Daniel said that God would set up his kingdom in the last days of those kings, plural, kings. So Daniel two forty four and acts one forty four and five and eleven six. Third reason, Daniel declared that the kingdom of God would destroy all Gentile empires. The church does not fit this description. Yeshua's first coming did not end the Roman Empire. But the kingdom of God meaning Jesus, not the church. We're not gonna destroy all the governments of the world and then set up his kingdom. Daniel two thirty four, 35, and 45. Fourthly, the fifth kingdom is described as conquering the entire world. What's the fifth kingdom? Lord Jesus, the stone. Right? Indecisively, the church has not and will not perform this action. It is amazing. It's so simple. This is so remedial. I mean, who could possibly say there's no millennium? Literal rule and reign of Jesus. Daniel two three and four thirty four and thirty five, and 4445. Fifthly, the kingdom of God subdues the world. It is a theocracy. The church has never been a political organization. Scripture requires the visible church to be subject to Caesar. Unlike the church, this kingdom will remove all other empires and rule the world. So we have, Romans 13 where we're in subjection to the powers that be that God raises up. But important distinction, your subjection is not to these people parading as your government politicians. Your subservancy is to what? The constitution. You are in a constitutional republic, and the power over you is the constitution. So if they ever do anything that that is different than the constitution, like take away your free speech, just because they have a position, they can't do it because you have the first amendment rights. If they go even beyond the constitution, you have your god given inalienable rights, which are not privileges derived from government. So you have a unique form of government with obey god rather than men even when when human government goes beyond its scope of doing that which is good. God put government there to preserve the good. When government ceases to do good, then what? 1776. No. Alright. So maybe that's too much civics for us. So it's a theocracy, we'll remove all other empires and rule the world. Number six, due to its dependence on its own growth, the church would have had to seize political control gradually. Yet Daniel declared that the fifth kingdom would overthrow its predecessors quickly, immediately, as Jim read in Psalm two. Immediately, according to first Thessalonians chapter two verse eight. Immediately, with the brightness of his coming, sword of his mouth. So this whole idea that Paula White and the Trump administration and all these people, Kingdom Now and the NAR and Messianic Kingdom, what are some other names they call it, Dominionism. This whole idea that we're gonna overthrow government. We're gonna overthrow all these politicians. We're gonna get Christians in there. We're gonna get the right people in there. And then when we get everything right in their eschatology, then Jesus returns. Is that like crazy or what? So replacement theology has to teach that the church will overcome the Gentile kingdoms, yet the church has not done so in the first century and losing ground in the twenty first century. The seventh reason or eighth reason. Daniel stated that the stone would smash the image. Smiting in the spreading of the gospel is inconsistent with the ethic of the New Testament. So what these guys are saying is, we're gonna he's the stone, but the stone is the gospel, and we're gonna smite all the world with the gospel. When we get the gospel out there, it's gonna smite every kingdom. Everyone's gonna the whole world's gonna come to Christ, and then Jesus will come back. And yet Jesus said narrow is the way that leads life eternal, and few there be that find it. And Brandon figured out what that percentage is. It's really small, small percentage. Really small. Alright. So, father, thank you. Blessed, Lord, we pray in Jesus' name. Amen.
