Daniel 2 - Part 2
Pastor Rick Beaudry walks us through Daniel 2:28–46, unpacking Nebuchadnezzar’s dream and the statue’s metals as four successive Gentile empires: Babylon as the head of gold, then Medo‑Persia, Greece, and Rome with feet of iron mixed with clay. He ties the vision to end times themes such as the times of the Gentiles, a future rebirth of a Roman-style ten-king confederation, the Antichrist, and the stone that shatters the image as Messiah’s return and the millennial kingdom. Beaudry argues against replacement theology, affirms a distinct future for Israel and a pretribulation rapture perspective, and warns about apostasy, celebrity Christianity, and spiritual shallowness in many modern churches. He closes by pointing to Daniel’s God-given revelation and promotion as an example of God’s sovereignty and urges us toward careful study, discernment, and watchfulness.
