Chapter 16. Welcome if you're watching on Facebook. Be sure to check out, Vicky's latest, be not deceived podcast. Some good things happening. You can find it where, Vicky? On YouTube? On YouTube. And we have bible studies on Rumble and Facebook, and we have some stuff on Telegram. So so anyway, welcome. So let's pray. Father, we come before you, and we thank you that on this Monday night, this Columbus Day celebration, Columbus crossing the the blue in 1492, we thank you, Lord, that we can just celebrate being Americans, celebrate all that it means to us to live a life of freedom because of the cross of Calvary, to follow Jesus Christ no matter what happens, no matter how great a fallen away there is. Lord, we're here tonight to study your word, and we pray that your your words are light onto our feet, onto our path. And, Lord, we lift up the Dinsmores, and we pray that you bring healing to their household and comfort. And, Lord, we lift up Teresa Olsen's friend, Aleska and John and their family. They get saved and help them with their medical procedures this week. Lord, be with my wife, Kathy, as she's not feeling good. And anybody else at Nancy who's at home with the cold and and Lee and anybody else, Lord, just bless them. And those that played hooky and went to the casino today, Lord, make them winners, Lord. Make them winners. In Jesus' name, amen. Alright. Thank you, Rob. Alright. We we are in Ezekiel chapter 16. Ezekiel 16. Now why did God judge Sodom and Gomorrah? Wouldn't repent. They're wicked. What was the indictment that God had against them? They didn't take care of the poor. What's that? I don't know. That was that was Thomas. Rob says he didn't take care of the poor and the widows. So is that a reason god would judge a nation, judge a city, group of cities? Why did God judge Lucifer? It was pride. Pride. Pride. Yeah. Pride. In this chapter, we're gonna see where in verse 49, God's God's judging his own people, nation of Israel, and the nation of Israel hi, Jules. How are you? Good. There's some cake out there for you. Okay. The his own people, the children of Israel, Judah, turned their backs upon him and are engaging in just as heinous a sins as Sodom and Gomorrah. Even still today in Israel today, in Tel Aviv, in San Francisco, and many US cities all over the world, people are engaging in the type of sins of, quote, unquote, Sodom and Gomorrah. But the Lord says the reason what was Sodom's sin, it was pride, fullness of bread, idleness, and they cared not for the poor and needy. So starts out with pride like Lucifer thinking more highly of yourself than you ought to think. And you remember when Lot separated himself from Abraham, he pitched his tent towards Sodom with the Jordan Valley there. It's very, very fertile. So they had, a great amount of productivity from the, in an agricultural way. And so the pride, the fullness of bread made them prosperous, and then the idleness, they lend themselves toward pleasure, living for pleasure. And then the living for pleasure, they, iniquity abounded and the love of many grew cold as Jesus described in the last days where they did not care. They did not have a care for those that were impoverished. And and so that that was the root sin root cause with Sodom and Gomorrah. And Lucifer's fall in Isaiah 14. When we get to Ezekiel 28, there'd be another picture of the king of Tyre and it's analogous to Lucifer. Again, it was pride. He was puffed up with pride And in that that being filled with pride, it blinds a person, it blinds a nation, blinds a people. And Adolf Hitler, his phrase for Germany after their humiliate humiliation World War one when they were trying to rebuild Germany was make Germany great. Where have we heard that? Make America great. One of the things that the Lord in this chapter confirmed to me, I've been reeling with thinking over and over and over again that what I'm not seeing is shame. I'm not seeing people ashamed. I'm not seeing America ashamed for who we've become and who we are. Our face should be blushing. We should be blushing with shame because of what we're doing to children with the pedophilia and the cages and our our elites and our whole population inflamed with lust and preying upon children and trying to legislate that pedophilia would be made legal. And whether it's Jeffrey Epstein's place or Pizzagate when Obama was president, they just mock us. They go down to a pizza place, and they have a menu. And on the menu, they can choose what child, what kind of kid they want in a in a subsequent room next to it. So Podesta, the Podesta brothers and all were involved in that. And you can't you can't indict. You can't do anything because as soon as you start to indict somebody in DC, it's a chain reaction because everybody's involved in it. And so you can never prosecute. You can never deal with these these p ditty right now. It's never nothing's ever gonna happen because Hollywood, it's so pervasive. The elites in in London, you know, in England, all over the world, the the turning away from God, filled with pride that we can get away with whatever we want. We're not accountable to anybody. And so pride goes before destruction and a haughty spirit before a fall. God resists the proud. He gives grace to the humble. Now humble thyself to the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift thee up. Another aspect of this chapter is we're all sinners. God's people are really good at sinning, and we as human beings are really, really good at sinning. We're really good at doing evil. But God is as I've done some funerals, sometimes you'll come across a person that, you know, really went after it. We had one gal that lived a really crazy lifestyle, lesbianism and all that, and the alcohols and all, and her friends came to the funeral and they were hooting and hollering with the pictures we had up of her and and just really, you know, like like like a boastfulness, you know. And and so the Lord showed me in that funeral, you know, so and so was a great sinner, but her God is an even greater savior. And that's what you're gonna get out of this here as I was we move to the last verse of chapter 16. You're gonna see the greatness of the cross, the greatness of our God, the greatness of our salvation, the greatness of his covenant, unconditional covenant in Jeremiah 31 with the nation of Israel. And you can see the picture in the tribulation period where two thirds of the Jews died during the tribulation period, but you can see that one third remnant that's preserved and comes to a saving faith when they say blessed is he that comes in the name of the Lord. And so all of us all of us have a an easy time sinning, an easy time missing the mark, an easy time being selfish. When we're not selfish, it should surprise us. It should be like, wow, the Lord's working in my life today. I actually actually was loving to someone today. You know? That's that's what it should be like. But if you get intoxicated with like in Luke 18, the Pharisee and the publican went to pray, and the Pharisee prayed thus with himself. His prayer hit the ceiling, came right back down, and he begins to thank God that he's not like all these other wretches. You know? And and the publican who's a tax collector, hated tax collector, wouldn't so much as lift up his eyes even unto heaven, smote his breast and just said, God, be merciful to me a sinner. And Jesus said, that man went away justified just as if he'd never sinned. So righteousness exalts a nation, and sin is a reproach to any people. Another quote, Billy Graham said this, but he's not the one that originated it. If God doesn't apologize to Sodom and Gomorrah or or excuse me. If God does not judge America, then he owes Sodom and Gomorrah an apology. And Billy's not the one that originated that, but we're talking about a guy that was preaching late 50s, 60s, 70s in there, and seeing the condition of America, calling America out, and we don't even blush. The church doesn't blush. We don't we don't blush. We are not ashamed. We are so filled with pride that we're so good that we don't even see how far away from the Lord we are. And that's why we're given over to such incredible amounts of false doctrine and doctrines of demons and fables and everything's geared toward me. Everything's geared toward man. It's it's it's a human centered gospel. It's a human centered church. It's not Christ centered. And and so if I were to diagnose the problem of America and come up with a solution, it's not a political problem. It's a problem of not wanting to repent, not seeing the need of repentance in the church. Judgment begins at the house of God. So he says, again, the word of the Lord came unto me saying, son of man, cause Jerusalem to know her abominations. So part of the job of the pastor is to point out the abominations, point out what's wrong, call call call the nation out, call us out, and this will not make you popular. This will not grow the church if you if you do that. People don't want to look into the mirror and see who they really are. They want to be pampered, lied to, and told, you know, that love means whatever you want it to mean because God's a God of love. He's just winking at your sin. He doesn't care about your sin. He's just winking at it, you know. Oh, wow. Isn't that cute? You know? And people have a false sense of of security. They don't fear hell. They don't fear God. And the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge. And so part of part of what we do when we go through the Bible is we allow the Bible to just say what it's saying and pray that people, you know, get convicted when they should be convicted, comforted when they should be comforted, and encouraged when they need to be encouraged. But lying to people, bringing forward doctrines of demons isn't gonna isn't gonna build up the body of Christ. Instead, you're gonna have a an apostate church that's turned away from the Lord in rebellion to the Lord. And the nation of Israel. Picture these guys still going to temple, still going to church. Picture the Nazis taking methamphetamines and various kind of drugs to do really bad things to Jews, but then going to church, going to the Lutheran church. They're clueless, aren't they? Absolutely clueless. But that's the way it was. And say, thus saith the Lord God unto Jerusalem, thy birth and thy nativity are of the land of Canaan. Thy father was an Amorite and thy mother a Hittite. My grandma is in hospice right now. And one of the things my grandma has meant to me was it kind of centered me like this is where I came from. And no matter how many times my mom was married, you know, you got your mom, your dad, grandparents, and you kind of find out, they're from Minnesota and they're from Wisconsin and, you know, they live in San Diego and you just kind of you kind of have a Cathy and I go down memory lane and we think about where we came from and who our families were and are and that sort of thing. And, you know, I didn't come from a Christian home. I came loving people, my grandma very loving and all, But these guys, they didn't come from a good stock. They didn't come from a good place. And many of us, we missed out on being raised like my grandkids are in godly Christian home. And I look at Brittany and Wayne and and I applaud them, and I look at Kathy the way that as a mother, she raised Jessica and Brittany in a Christian home. So sometimes when I see Christian kids doing crazy stuff that's against the Lord, I'll say to Kathy, I'll say, you and I were not raised in a Christian home. And we've never made excuses, you know, of who we are. And when God intervened and saved us, you know, our life was changed. So I don't understand how somebody that's raised in a Christian home can be a worse sinner than you and I ever were before we ever even met Jesus. You know? How's that work? How's that work? I I just house has been swept. Yeah. House has been swept. Yeah. Holy Spirit. That that could be true. It could be they they well, they're not saved. I I hope and pray they are, but you're right. It it could very well be they're gonna hear away from me. I never knew you. You that practice iniquity. Because it's very hard to to comprehend. And yet we're all sinners, we've all sinned, and we all continue to sin. But he's saying you didn't come from good stock, you came from the land that you're obtaining. You know, the Canaanites lived there, the Amorites lived there, the Hittites lived there, these powerful nations. And as for your nativity in the day that you were born, thy navel was not cut, neither was thou washed in water to cleanse thee, thou was not salted at all nor swaddled at all. So you personalize that. When you were born, were you set out into a field to just fare for yourself? If if you had an unwanted pregnancy here, in many cases, they would take the baby and walk him out into the woods and just leave the baby there. Let the wild animals eat it. Now check this out. You're gonna get more angry when you hear that somebody took a dog and they drove it out to the wilderness and dropped the dog off than you are a baby being aborted. People go crazy when they hear somebody took a batch of puppies or kittens out and just dropped them off. They go nuts, but they think nothing of fifteen weeks to abort or a woman's reproductive rights. It's like, again, you're on a you're you're unashamed. But it's it's like fighting words if I hear that somebody took that dog out there and dropped it off. Well, that's what he's saying here is that when you were born, there was nobody there to cut the umbilical cord. You you you you weren't washed with water. You you weren't cleansed with salt. Salt has an antiseptic, you know, aspect to it. So it's gonna kill all the germs. You're gonna strengthen the skin. And you weren't swaddled. You weren't put in swaddling clothes like Jesus would wrap in the swaddling clothes. I'm so thankful. My mom had me when she's 15, and I'm so thankful that she had that instinct of being a mom and didn't abort me or didn't send me away or whatever. And, no, I pitied thee to do any of these unto thee to have compassion upon thee, but thou was cast out in the open field to the loathing of thy person in the day that thou was thou was born. And so you're unwanted. You're worthless. You're dropped off. You hear about these children sometimes dropped off at fire stations or dropped off in a dumpster, and people hear this crying of a little baby and the baby saved and comes into, you know, the adoption process or orphans or whatever. And and but he's saying, you guys you guys were lost. You were unwanted. Nobody wanted you. And when I passed by thee and saw thee polluted while you're worthless, what condition were you in when the Lord chose you? When he rescued you? What condition were you in? Were you a prize? We were dead in our sins and trespasses. We were enemies of God at enmity with him. And when I passed by thee and saw thee polluted in your own blood, so you weren't washed, the blood was all over you. I said unto thee, when thou was in thy thy blood, live. Yeah. I said unto thee, when thou was in thy blood, live. God's saying I had good intentions for you. I I adopted you. I paid the Goel price. I prayed the I paid the price of redemption to redeem you, to purchase you out of sin, out of slavery, out of death, out of bondage. And I not only found you, adopted you, and gave you an inheritance to be a joint heir with my son, but it cost me my only begotten son to purchase you. And I gave you life, and I gave you a name, and I marked you as with ownership as belonging to me. So don't ever don't ever fall into that trap that people who are consumed with themselves with psychology, that they have a low self esteem, that you're not valuable. In me that is in my flesh dwells no good thing. It's true. There's nothing intrinsically valuable about me. When I go back to the dust, the mineral values is just pennies, nothing valuable. But you put the holy spirit inside of me, God come in and dwell within me, there's where my value is because he purchased me. When he puts the seal of the Holy Spirit upon me and marks me and gives me an engagement ring, which signify redemption that he purchased me with blood, it it it should stir within me the tremendous value that he placed upon me, that I was worth it. And who for the joy that was set before him, the joy of what? The joy of saving you and I. Saving us from ourselves, saving us from hell, saving us from our our our own destruction if we were left to ourselves. None of us can save ourselves. None of us can be good enough. None of us can clean ourselves up. None of us can wash that blood and wash that filth off of ourselves. God had to intervene. It took his intervention. And the devil is a destroyer. The devil is the one that throws us away as a piece of trash. The devil is the accuser. The devil is the one that condemns. The devil is the one that tells you you're worthless. You wives, when you have a husband that needs to be hit over the head with a frying pan, you know, when they tell you you're worthless, what did you do all day? You don't do anything. And and some of the guys that I've had to talk to recently, I would just say they're cavemen. They're like cavemen, and they don't have any sense at all. They're blockheads. And my grandkids laugh when I say that, but it's true. It's they're clueless. They're just clueless. What planet did you drop off of? You know? It's like, you're really gonna treat a woman that way? And blows my mind, but Jesus is not that way. Husbands love your wife like Christ loved the church and gave himself for her. One of the guys was telling me recently, I'm dead. I'm dead. I'm dead. And I'm like, good. That's how you're supposed to be. You're supposed to be dead. You know? Christ gave himself for his wife. You're dead. You know? And serve your wife the way Christ did. You know? Once she she feels loved, once she feels secure and safe, then she'll respect you. But until then, it's game on. It's the battle of all hell breaking loose. So get it through your head. You're not gonna lord over her and force her and berate her and belittle her and break her spirit till she conforms. Not gonna happen. And conforms to the storm. And so she'll she'll she you might think she's in submission, but you better sleep with one eye open. I'll tell you that. And you better have a taster with your food. You know? So I've caused thee to multiply as the buds. So you're worthless, but because of my involvement in your life, I'm gonna make your life fruitful. And we were talking last week about how unfruitful, you know, the nation of Israel was. But with the Lord being the husbandman, with the Lord working with us, the Lord can make our lives fruitful. All we have to do is abide in him in John 15. So I've caused thee to multiply as the bud of the field and thou hast increased and become great and thou art come to excellent ornaments. Thy breasts are fashioned and thine hair is grown, whereas thou was naked and bare. And so you were worthless. You're naked and bare, but now you're clothed with righteousness. Now you have a robe of righteousness. When when you come back in Revelation 19, his wife has made herself ready. Right? The Lord's prepared you and you're in clean white garments, unspotted, unblemished, and all the sinfulness and all the all the garbage of our past is gone and and the Lord exalts us as his bride. Now when I passed by thee and looked upon thee, behold thy time was the time of love. And I spread my skirt over thee and covered thy nakedness. Yeah. I swore unto thee and entered into a covenant with thee, saith the Lord God, and thou became mine. You became the wife of Jehovah, and you were worthless. You were like Ruth, the Moabites, and you came from the area of Moab with Naomi, and Oprah stayed behind. And Melian and Chilion, you know, they died. And Ruth, you know, she's in bitterness, not Ruth, but Naomi. And you found a near kinsman redeemer named Boaz. And you went at the night of threshing when he laid himself down, and he's an older guy and you're a young, beautiful, beautiful woman. But where'd you come from? How what was your origin? Where who are your people? You know? Well, the Moabites were from a incestuous relationship with Lot and his daughters. Right? The Ammonites, the Moabites. And Ruth, the Moabites is a result of an incestuous relationship. And if we pull the curtain back upon our families, all of our families, everyone represented here, chances are there are some things that nobody wants to talk about of things that happen in our pedigree. The boldness, the courage of the Lord Jesus is that he chose to come through this pedigree, that he chose in Matthew one to have a pedigree, an ancestral line that comes through very, very filthy people, all of us being filthy. He didn't come through the Christian celebrities and the great people of the age, you know? It came through, know, Ruth and Rahab the harlot and Bathsheba and people that women named there in Matthew one, and typically you won't even name women in the Jewish pedigree, but the courage, the boldness of our Lord in in coming along those lines. And so, Arutha Moabite is there she is, and she's poor, she's working in the field, she's cutting the corners, and Naomi is letting her know that that Boaz is a near kinsman. And when she went to the edge of his bed and uncovered his feet, at midnight, he woke up and he knew that there was a woman at the edge of his bed, and she let her intentions be known that she wanted him to be her kinsman redeemer. And he was really blown away knowing that with her beauty, she could have had any of the younger guys, but she chose this older guy. And and so the covering taking that covering of the skirt or the blanket and putting that over her was a picture. It was an agreement that I'll be your covering, that I'm gonna protect you now and be your covering, your provider. And that's what the Lord's saying. I protected you. I covered you. I'm your provider. And so you became mine. There's a there's a marital covenant in that you became mine. Then washed I thee with water, yay, I thoroughly washed away thy blood from thee and I anointed thee with oil. Isn't it amazing how many harlots followed Jesus? Isn't it amazing? What was it about Jesus that these harlots were drawn to him? Very mangling. Forgiving. Very forgiving, merciful. They felt cleansed. They felt pure. They felt accepted. They didn't feel dirty, did they? They probably didn't like their life. They didn't like their life? Probably. But they're so beat down. How are they going to rise up from that? Right? And so but the Lord Jesus, you know, the woman caught in the very act of adultery, neither do I condemn thee, go and sin no more, you know, where are thine accusers, you know? And in Luke seven, the woman that took the very costly alabaster box of ointment, you know, anointing him and washing his feet with her tears and drying them with her hair and all. And Simon the Pharisee was indignant, you know, he was like, you must not be a holy man because you'd know that this woman's a very sinful person. And so it's the forgiveness. It was the forgiveness that he extended toward people in that, Simon, if I forgive somebody if God were to forgive somebody of a, you know, a million dollar debt, and then he forgives somebody of a $10 debt, which one do you think would be most appreciative, most thankful? Well, the one that you forgave the great debt, you know? And so those that are forgiven much, they love much is what he let Simon know. And so you can never be too small for God to use, only too big, too big for your britches. So you come just as you are. And John Newton, who wrote Amazing Grace, you know, he's a slave trader And he became very ashamed, very repentant, grieving over what he was involved in and what he was doing. And I came to know the Lord and and then, you know, penned and wrote the song that we still sing today, Amazing Grace, you know, you saved a wretch like me. And Paul described himself as the chiefest of sinners, a blasphemer. And so, then washed I thee with water, yea I thoroughly washed away thy blood from thee, and I anointed thee with oil, So the oil of the Holy Spirit, God pours out his spirit upon us and gives us the comforter, gives us new clothes, as we said, robes of righteousness and a ring on our finger. We're we're marked out. We have the engagement ring and we're waiting for our groom to come and he's gonna come for us. We've got the oil. You know, we're the we're the wise virgins where our our lamps are burning, our lamps are filled with oil. We're not the foolish. And we're watching. We're looking. We're looking for the fetching. We're looking for the rapture of the church. We're looking for Jesus to come for his bride and to take us to the father's house. And in my father's house are many mansions. If it weren't, so I'd tell you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go to prepare a place for you, will come again and receive you onto myself that where I am, there you may be also. Pray always that you be accounted worthy to escape these things, the tribulation period, and to stand before the son of God. And and so we continue to pray when you see these things begin to come to pass and look up because you know that your redemption is drawing nigh. It's the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and savior. He found me when I was 20 years old and I wasn't seeking him. And he's marked me. He's written my name in the lamb's book of life. I belong to him. He saved me. I have the earnest of the Holy Spirit. He's coming back for more. He's coming back for that purchased possession. And and that's why we're excited about the times in which we're living in. I clothe thee also with embroidered work and shod thee with badger skin and I girded thee about with fine linen, and I covered thee with silk. So the Lord gave them the best, the very best that he had he clothed them in, and they weren't wearing rags. And when you're raising a bunch of kids and you don't have a whole lot of money, you do the best you can. But one thing about it is their clothes can be clean. No matter how expensive they are, they can be clean. And my parents couldn't afford to give us the best of clothes or lots of clothes, but always clean and you can wear a pair of Levi jeans. You can wear if you have two pairs of Levi jeans, that'll get you through the week. You just rotate them. If you have two t shirts, you rotate them, you know? And when you play sports, you may not get the Nikes or the Reeboks or the Adidas, but all that matters is how you perform on the field. That's all that matters. Just makes you more angry. Makes you more angry when the rich kids come there with all that stuff acting so cocky. But when the whistle blows, all that matters all that matters is that you do your best. You just do your best. Get a sponsor. Well, I'm not talking about that. I'm just saying that there's a certain shame to to poverty. There's certain shame that comes, but but there's also there's no shame in being poor. Jesus, foxes have whole birds, have nests, but the son of man has nowhere to lay his head. But when it comes to the Lord, he's gonna give us the best. And we don't use this as a prosperity doctrine that everybody's to have, you know, very expensive clothes and things like that. But it's it's ultimately ultimately, when we're there in heaven, we're gonna have the very, very best that only God can provide. When in Genesis 24, when Eleazar, the servant of of Abraham, when Isaac came of age, and his mother Sarah had died in chapter 23, he was really mourning and lonely. And so Abraham sent Eliezer, who's a type of the comforter, the Holy Spirit, back to the land that Abraham came from to go and find a bride for Isaac. And when Eliezer came to the well there, Laban, home of Laban and Rebecca and all, Eleazar, the servant, when he knew who she was and what family she was a part of, he got really excited because he prayed a prayer that the Lord would bring the bride to Isaac the right one. And once he knew she's the right one, he put bracelets on her wrists and in the day they had, like today, a lot of days, they have rings in their noses and this very expensive jewelry and he gave her gifts. And that's when we go to the father's house, when the Lord comes and snatches us and takes us, we're going to have the Bema Seat judgment where the Lord is going to lavish us with gifts. He's going to pour out the best that he has. I deck thee also with ornaments and I put bracelets upon your hands and a chain on your neck. Great things he has done. Great things he has done. Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory, honor and power for thou has created all things and for thy pleasure they are and were created. And I put a jewel in your nose. That's not my my style, but my my daughters everybody seems to be putting jewels in their eyelids and their nose and their lips and their tongues and I don't get it, but apparently it's a sign of affection if a guy gives that to you. What does that say? Noses and earrings in your ears and a beautiful crown upon your head. Is that okay? Can we have a crown on the head? Can't make love like that. Alright. Yours doesn't say forehead. Doesn't matter, does it? I know. Nose, forehead, lip, jewel, earring, forehead, necklace, beautiful crown upon your head. And so we're all gonna get a crown. Right? Amen. Praise the lord. In second Timothy chapter four, Paul said, what? I fought a good fight. I finished my course. There's now therefore laid up for me a crown of righteousness and not to me only, but to unto all them who love his appearing, looking, watching, waiting for the Lord. So what kind of crowns? You're going to eat at Five Crowns restaurant? I never have. I'm too poor. You know what I thought of today? This is a joke. Okay? It's just a joke. So don't get your feelings hurt. Alright? No. I won't say it. I know. I won't say it. But it's it's no. I can't say it. I can't say it. Can't say it. Alright. So anyway, I do wanna talk about the crowns, because I crown of life is the martyr's crown. Right? Yeah. Twice we see the crown of life in James and and I forget where else. We've got a crown of rejoicing. We've got a crown of righteousness. We've got an incorruptible crown that fadeth not away. Right? And what else? Pardon me? The martyr crown is the crown of life. You're looking forward to having a crown? Why would why do you want a crown? I went to the dentist today, and I don't need a crown. Drill it down. Different kind of crown? So you cast it on your first kind. Cast it on his feet. So Jesus wore a crown of thorns. Mhmm. Right? Right. So that we could have A crown of righteousness. A crown of righteousness, an incorruptible crown that fades not away, first Corinthians nine twenty five. Second Timothy four eight, a crown of righteousness. James one twelve, crown of life, first Peter five four, crown of glory, first Thessalonians two nineteen, a crown of rejoicing, and Revelation two ten, a crown of life. Alright? So the Lord is not gonna leave us without a crown. We're gonna have at least one crown. And the four and twenty elders in Revelation chapter four, they're gonna take their crowns off and lay them at the feet of Jesus and sing, thou art worthy, oh lord, to receive glory, honor, and power for thou has created all things and they are and were created for your pleasure. Right? And it's gonna be great to have something to lay at Jesus' feet. Right? Amen. In worship. So this is the way he loves us. For thus was thou decked with gold and silver, and thy raiment was of fine linen and silk and embroidered work. Thou did eat fine flour and honey and oil, and thou was exceedingly beautiful, and thou did prosper into a kingdom. And so for us guys, that's that's the way our wife that's the picture of our wives, how beautiful they are and how the they may not be decked with gold and silver because we don't have it to give them, but but they're content. Their godliness with contentment. And so thy kingdom Zion. And thy renown went forth among the nations for thy beauty. So everybody's thinking of Zion. They're thinking of Jerusalem. They're thinking of the nation of Israel and the beauty of holiness, perfect throughout my my splendor. And I renowned went forth among the nations for thy beauty, for it was perfect throughout my splendor, which I had put upon thee, saith the lord god. America the beautiful. People used to sing songs of how the beauty of America, how beautiful America is. What do our inner cities look like now? Feces. Feces everywhere. There's druggies that Druggies and swords and just just ugliness. So we would call it ugliness. And just how how sad it is when the light cannot dispel the darkness and push the darkness and conquer the darkness and bring them to light. Beautiful through his beauty. He says, verse 15, but contrast, but thou did trust in thine own beauty. So the Lord makes you beautiful, the Lord blesses you, the Lord lavishes love upon you, And at first, you appreciate. At first, you're you're thankful. You sing with gratitude. You cherish the grace, the unmerited favor he pours out upon you. But then after a while, like the church of Ephesus, you leave your first love. You're more in love with the things now. You're more in love with the blessings than you are the blesser. You're more concerned about your house and your cars and your trips and your bank accounts and all the prosperity and everything he's given you. And where before when you were like a foreigner and you lived in abject poverty and maybe even had to be a prostitute, and you came out of that prostitution, you married you married a big strong sailor, and he brought you to America, and and you're living better than anybody you've ever known. Got a house and cars and insurance and start having kids and and the tragedy is we forget. Many of us forget and we want more and more and more. And so Jesus feeds the multitudes with the loaves and the fishes, and the people are attracted to him because they want the blessings, not the blesser. He told him you're gonna have to eat my flesh and drink my blood. You're gonna have to come to me for me. And it said, and many of his disciples no longer walked with him, turned to the 12, and he said, are you gonna leave me also? And where are we gonna go? You have the words of eternal life. So Carl came up to me after church on Sunday, and this is a guy that's been in the church like we were describing, the Rick Warren social justice rebranding type churches that don't teach the word of God. And he came up to me and he said, where am I gonna go? And you can finish it. We have the words of eternal life. When you when your when your appetite is satisfied with the word of God, and that's all you're looking for is content. I need the word of God. I need the Lord to speak to me. I need his word, and you have an appetite for his word. You're not gonna settle. You're not gonna settle for a church or a Bible study or a place that turns it into psychobabble therapy, a therapy session. Everybody needs to raise their hand and say, I think, I think. What do you think this verse means? I think. I think it means this. I think it means that. And by the time you're done, nobody learned a thing. It's all opinions. It's all feel good. And that's what most of the churches are doing today, self satisfied. Dissatisfied with their own ideas, their own dreams, visions. I think. I think. Well, what's the Bible say? Does anybody consider what the Bible says? Can anybody quote the Bible? Does anybody know a verse of the bible? You know? It doesn't matter what I think. What's the what's the bible say? But you did trust in your own beauty, and you played the harlot because of the of thy renown and poured out thy fornication on everyone that passed by as it was. And so you're a party animal. You're in the prime of your life. You've got it all. You're all decked out, and people know about you, and but you're corrupted. You know, one of the things that strikes me as just amazing, and a guy at the gym taught me this. I had no idea this was a thing today, and I hesitate to say it, but it isn't guys boasting. It's girls boasting of how many men they've been with. Yep. I didn't know that was a thing. That's huge. It's like, are you kidding me? Are you kidding me? When I was growing up, you know, I wasn't even a believer. And the guys might think like that. They used to. They used used be sluts or whatever if you slut a bunch of guys. Right. And Now it's no shame, it seems like. No shame. See? No shame. Now it's a badge. It's launches on your belt or something, and it's scary out there. So I would say, as a parent, as a grandparent with young grandsons, mamas, watch over your boys. It used to be you have to watch your girls. Right? Now it's like, watch out for them girls. That's me. They were so busy watching the boys that they forgot that the girls are just as bad. But, I mean, they're they're they're boastful of how many they've been with. And so that corruption that's there. And so and here's the other sad part of it. You ever seen a person who's lost their beauty, who's passed their prime, who's still trying to act like that's person of old? Yes. It's it's pretty sad, isn't it? Oh, no. And but in her prime, in your prime here, you're filled with fornication. There's a reason, you know, we we used to in first Corinthians seven, you when when somebody goes against marriage, the two coming together as one for, you know, sexual union, they become one soul. So when somebody goes outside the protection of marriage and commits adultery or fornication, now you're giving a piece of yourself to somebody else. You're you're they have a piece of you, a piece of your soul. So pretty soon, when you look at people who've been very sexually active and or a child, and this is the sad part, a child that's been abused sexually over and over again, they've been hollowed out. They've been hollowed out. Their their soul has been hollowed out, and they've lost their innocence way beyond innocence. And and that's not what God's intended. That's not what so far from what God's intended. And these people prey upon the most innocent children they can find, and then they hollow them out, and they discard them as trash. And it's and I believe that's why so many of them are confused and go into the gay and the lesbian lifestyle and lifestyles that are, you know, aberrant is because they're so mentally confused about who they are and who their sexuality is. And so they're produced by a very corrupt adults, a society of adults that prey upon them. And that's why we need to be very, very compassionate toward young people that are experimenting with the gay and lesbian lifestyle and they're incredibly empty, and they're trying to get rid of the gnawing, and they're trying to get rid of the pain that they've experienced. And in many cases, they want other people to hurt the way that they're hurting. So they in turn perpetuate what happened to them. And a it's a horrible, horrible thing. If we can get our kids under the place of marriage as virgins and allow them to experience God's ideal for marriage and having children and protect them from sexual predators and all, that's a huge achievement in this day and age. Amen. Huge. I mean, it it's it's not easy. The churches are so promiscuous. The youth groups, everybody's sleeping with each other. So don't trust the youth group with your boy or your girl thinking this is a safe place for them. Scouts, all these kind of places, wherever people are, you be careful, you vet, you watch, you be the person that goes along with them, and don't drop your guard. Don't drop your guard. And of thy garment and of thy garment thou did take and deck thy high places with various colors and played the harlot on them like things shall not come neither shall it be so. And so they would go out into the groves. They would go out into the upper areas, and they pitch tents. And they'd have idols, and they'd have, you know, bonfires. And this is part of where they would scream and make lots of noise, and they'd set up their idols, these idols made out of metal, of val, of asterisk, and they'd have outstretched arms, and the outstretched arms would get red hot. And then there's the chanting and the screaming in the circle all around the fire and everything and various ritual worshiping of demons and a lot of, promiscuity, sexual interaction, and then a woman gets pregnant, and then what do you do with that baby? Now the baby can be part of the sexual ritual in that they take the baby and put the baby on the red hot arms of bowel outstretched, and then the baby screaming, and then the people, like the churches were told in Germany when the Jews were going by in the trains screaming, sing louder. Sing louder. Can you believe that? Christian church is told to sing louder. And so they sing and they chant and they do all this occultic stuff with a high pitched noises to try and drown out the screams of the little babies. So what God's supposed to do with the people like this? You know, what's he what's he supposed to do? I think if they just lit them on fire, because there's a fire there, they might as well I mean, he killed a lot of people in the Old Testament. Why not just kill these people? Well, he's gonna judge eventually. We what are what is the methodology of abortion in America in the world today? You ever heard of saline abortion? So we think we're not as barbaric as what I just described. Right? We're not as barbaric. Right? It's just a fetus, right? It's not a baby. It's a lie. So we burn the babies in the womb with salt. Just burn them up. Secondly, we take instruments and go in to the womb and slice the baby up. And then we vacuum the baby out. We also take let the head of the baby crown and then we take scissors and the the skull is real soft and we cut an incision in the crown of the head of the baby and we vacuum the brain out. That's what we do today. And these people talk about, well, if we don't have abortion, we're gonna have to get coat hangers. It's a big bold faced lie. It's a bold faced lie, you know? People get rid of unwanted pregnancies all throughout history, and and we're so we're we're so what's the word? Humane? Is that the word? That we'll actually fund it, and we'll call it Planned Parenthood. How prideful are we? One of the podcasts I was listening to, he said that his girlfriend at the time ended up getting pregnant, he didn't want her to get an abortion. But she went to Planned Parenthood and, you know, did all that. But at the same time, he's like, I was very, very, very against it. You know? He didn't find God yet or anything, but he was like, I was very, very against it. But why is there not more places? Like, his thought was if you have a Planned Parenthood, there should be a place across the street, essentially, that had more things that were, like, you know Adoption. Ways for adoption, ways to help bring the baby into the world, ways to, you know, do all this kind of stuff. Crisis pregnancy more places. Call them crisis pregnancy centers that Christian set up. But then also a lot of Christians and groups have brought trailers there with where the gal that's going in can have a scan and see that it's a baby because they're being lied to that it's just tissue. It's undeveloped. So a lot of these Christian organizations will try and get them over there, but they're making that illegal. They've been arresting elderly an elderly woman just simply for standing on the sidewalk with literature, praying silently against what happens inside that building. And so more and more you're seeing people being arrested. So that was also taken, verse 17, thy fair jewels of gold and of thy silver, which I had given thee and made to thyself and images of men and did commit harlotry with them. So they're taking during Solomon's reign, Solomon's silver was like rocks that was so plentiful. So they're taking something that starts out by being jewelry, silver and gold and stuff, and now they're fashioning it, and this is so strange. They're fashioning it into pornographic images, and it would appear here phallic symbols, images of men, and did commit harlotry with them. So when I went to Turkey with Kathy, see the seven churches, there were wooden idols that Americans could buy, and part of them, asterisk, so they have female and male type idols, and there would be multi breasted women. And so if a man sees that, it's supposed to inflame him, the sensuality of it, and so it incites your flesh. And then so too they had phallic symbols, you know, for the women and all, but they were carved out of wood and very prevalent. And he took thine embroidered garments and covered them and thou hast set mine oil and mine incense before them. So you took that which I blessed you with and now you're using it as incense and worshiping of demons, And my food also so all these blessings are turned into a means of worshiping demons and being used contrary to what God's intention was. So my food also which I gave thee in flour and oil and honey with which I fed thee, thou hast even set it before them for a sweet savor, thus it was, saith the Lord. And so you're taking the blessings that I'm giving you, and you're using in such a way to show your unfaithfulness unto me. Moreover, thou has taken thy sons and thy daughters whom thou has borne unto me and these has thou sacrificed unto them to be devoured. So notice how he says they're his children. These children belong to the Lord. And our children belong to the Lord. Psalm a 127, you know, we the fruit of the womb is his reward. And when we do a baby dedication, what we try to get through to people is that this doesn't mean your baby's going to heaven. It means that God's given you this baby. He's blessed you with it through the womb as his reward. And then now the Lord wants you to give that baby back to him, to dedicate this baby back to him that you, Hannah, are gonna raise Samuel in the nurture and admonition of the Lord, and you're gonna ask the Lord for help. Lord, help me raise this child in a Christian home that this child will wind up in heaven. So God's entrusting these children to you, Christian parents, that you would raise them in such a way that you would influence them for the kingdom of God. You'd influence them as best you can. You're an influencer. You're a you're a Instagram influencer, and you're gonna influence your children pouring in the word of God and the Christian home, modeling the Christian life in a Christian home that they would be lords the lords for all eternity. So they're offering their children. They're sacrificing their children. Manasseh was a king for fifty five years. In second Kings twenty one six, Manasseh offered his sons into the fire. Ahaz in second Kings 16 verse three, king Ahaz, he also offered his sons unto Baal. So you've you've taken thy sons and thy daughters whom thou has borne unto me, and these has thou sacrificed unto them to be devoured. Is this of thine harlotries, a small matter? So is this a small thing? Is this a little thing, America? Is it okay to give the women fifteen weeks? Republicans think it's okay to give them fifteen weeks now to abort their babies. But after fifteen weeks, the child's developed too much, so we're gonna be more humane than the Democrats. And we're gonna have a new slogan where we let everyone know, the evangelicals, everyone, well, not the evangelicals, but anybody, that we won't interfere with a woman's reproductive rights. Oh, that sounds so good, doesn't it? That thou hast slain my children to deliver them to cause them to pass through the fire, for them. And in all thine abominations and thine harlotries, thou hast not remembered the days of thy youth when thou was naked and bare and was polluted in the blood. You don't remember your BC days. You don't remember what it was like, you know, being alienated from God, being a slave to the devil, being abused by people, and when the devil is going around like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour. All I know is I wanted to be married, and I wanted to have a family and I just didn't know how I was going to accomplish that. And the Lord saved me and he saved Kathy, and he's been the center of our marriage and the center of our life, and I've never forgotten who I was before that. And so that's one of the advantages I think of being not raised in a Christian home. There's a contrast, if you will. There's the days of BC when you didn't know the Lord, and then there's the contrast of when you came to know the Lord. And I think a lot of times kids that are raised in Christian homes, they're curious about the world. They're curious about the things of the world, and you're trying to warn them and tell them, hey, drugs are a dead end. These things alcohol is a dead end. You know, remain a virgin till you get married. Do things God's way, you're trying so hard. And then they go to youth group, and there's a guy at youth group that's undermining them, you know, lying to them like the devil. And I wish I could go back and realize what my girls were up against in those so called youth groups in Kitsap County here. But to a certain degree, we release them into adulthood, and they need to learn to say no. But another aspect of that is they're young, they're impressionable, they're 14 years old, they're 15 years old, and they need support of the parents, especially the leaders of these so called youth groups to police it, to make sure that the predators aren't allowed to continually be the predators. And doesn't seem they they seem to care. They put them in the worship team because they're effective. And it was polluted in thy blood and it came to pass that for all thy wickedness, woe, woe unto thee, saith the Lord God. So repent. Stop doing what you're doing that thou has also built unto thee an eminent place and has made thee a high place in every street. And so on every corner, it's filled with whores, prostitution, the men coming to these places, and I've never been to Europe. But what is it? Amsterdam that has the red light district, and they talk about how they have the the women standing there in the windows. Yep. And then you can walk the street, you can they're showing themselves somewhat in Vegas, Seattle. Nowadays, social media has a bunch of different ways for people to, you know, hook up. And so it's been going on forever. Now one of the things that I'm noticing about Huntington Beach, which I hold in high esteem, it's my hometown, and I heard Jack Hibbs describe it as I've described it many times, there are pockets there are pockets in California of places where there's lots of conservatives, Christians, strong churches, and they resist the policies of Gavin Newsom in Sacramento. Okay? So Kitsap County can be a pocket. It can be people were so afraid of Jay Inslee's policies that they moved them Montana, Texas, Tennessee, all these red state places. Property in Idaho because of Jay and Idaho. And we stayed. And 10 acres. I know. So she doesn't have And anything more? Any more? You guys wanna just go home? No. No. I'm sorry. I definitely because, you know, it's pastor appreciation month. Month? I don't feel appreciated. Wait a minute. Alright. Is it a month? Let's get on it. You guys serious about this? Is actually. You serious about this? Come on. Zip it. Zip it. Alright. When I went there this last time, what I noticed was a lot of bars that bars along the beach, alcohol, partying. May not be whores, but a whole lot of partying, whole lot of as we're gonna get over here, pride, fullness of bread, idleness. When you make lots of money and you're living in an affluent society, what are you gonna do with your time and your money? They like to party. They like to go to the bar. So a lot of bars downtown, a lot of bars along the beach where the kids are and the families are now, a proliferation at the end of the pier. Ruby's was didn't renew their lease, and guess what? There's a bar, another bar. Bars don't always bring in a family environment. You know? And in time, if you watch It's a Wonderful Life, you can see Porterville. Right? And Potteryville. Potteryville. And you don't want a nice, clean, good city like Mayberry RFD to become Potteryville. And so most cities should have districts, a certain section of the city designated for one aspect and, you know, other parts where not. And same with TV, censorship. Censor out the filth, allow family programming, and don't allow the filth to come into the home and corrupt the minds of the children and the families. And it's been a frog in the kettle thing over the course of time in America of bringing this filth into the home, and it's a it's a sad thing. Alright. So they've committed fornication. Thou hast built high places, So you're building these places all around. Thou hast also committed fornication with the Egyptians, your neighbors, and great flesh, and has increased thine harlotries to provoke men to anger. So all over the world, I hear I hear of men saying that when they retire, they're going to go or they even presently, they go on cruise ships and they go on trips to you pick a city. You pick a place. Taiwan, Thailand. Thailand. What's it? Singapore. They go to these cities. They go to these places where the families actually provide their children because it's a source of income for these for these very perverted men to go there and oh, yeah. They have cruise ships for them, the whole thing. And no prosecution, no nothing. They know they can go there and they can do it. And so all over the world, you have the predatory Americans with their pornography and their pedophilia, the whole thing going, not not just keeping it at home. So behold, therefore, I have stretched out thy hand over thee and have diminished thine ordinary food and delivered thee under the will of of them that hate thee. So now now you used to be protected. You used to have sovereignty and sovereign borders and watch the borders, and now I'm gonna give you over to your enemies. I'm just gonna give you over. So when I look at America, I don't look at you're always being lied to that your enemy is the Chinese and the Russians. Mhmm. Your enemy is your own federal government. Amen. They're standing down. They're they are planning and plotting and scheming to take America down. Mhmm. And They're not telling us any of the truth. And and it's Mayorkas at the Danbarr cutoff. He's there organizing, bringing all these 30,000,000 guys in here. So you've increased thine heart of the trees to provoke me to anger, so God's a jealous God. Behold, therefore, I have stretched out my hand over thee and have diminished thine ordinary food and delivered thee under the will of them that hate thee, the daughter of the Philistines who are ashamed of thy lewd way. So your enemies are ashamed. Your enemies, these foreigners who don't have the word of God or anything, you know, you're living a blasphemous lifestyle. It's embarrassing to God. And even your enemies, the things that you're doing, even your these pagan nations don't do what you're doing. You've gone so far away from the Lord. And turn to one Kings chapter 11. First Kings chapter 11. You got it. First Kings 11 verse seven. These high places, watch what happened. Then did Solomon build a high place for Chemosh, the abomination of Moab in the hill that is before Jerusalem, and for Molech in the abomination of the children of Ammon, and likewise did he for all of his foreign wives who burned incense and sacrificed under their gods. So how good of a chance did Solomon have? What kind of home life did he have? What kind of, you know, silver spoon was put in his mouth, you know? The guy's the richest man that ever lived. Right? And he's also given wisdom. Right? Son of David, king. And and he's told, don't multiply horses and don't multiply your wives. Right? He's got 700 wives, 300 concubines, and his wives, many of whom are foreign wives, have foreign belief systems, and they bring those belief systems into Israel. And now Solomon has spent a time of apostasy turning away from the Lord and facilitating the building of of idols and temples under foreign foreign gods. So he says he says, and likewise did he for all of his foreign wives who burned incense and sacrificed under their gods. And the Lord was angry with Solomon because the heart was turned from the Lord God of Israel who had appeared unto him twice and had commanded him. Concerning this thing, he should not go after other gods, little as ye gods, he kept not that which the Lord commanded. Wherefore the Lord said unto Solomon, for as much as this is done by thee and thou has not kept my covenant and my statutes which I have commanded thee, I will surely tear the kingdom away from thee and will give it to thy servant. Notwithstanding in thy days, I will not do it for David thy father's sake, but I will tear it out of the hand of thy son. Howbeit I will not tear away the kingdom, but will give one tribe to thy son for David, my servant's sake, and for Jerusalem's sake, which I have chosen. And and the Lord stirred up the adversary unto Solomon, Haddad the Edomite, and he was the king's seed, you know, in Edom. And so the Lord stirs up the enemies and causes some disciplinary action. And and so Solomon, from the time of Solomon to the time of Nebuchadnezzar, the Lord says, I'm gonna I'm gonna leave a couple of tribes in Jerusalem. So you have the Southern Kingdom, and the kingdom's divided. You have the 10 northern tribes headquartered out of Samaria and corrupting day by day further and further away from the Lord. You have a couple times of reformation. So people are waiting for November 5, and they're thinking that I'm gonna vote this guy in and we're gonna have some reform. And and that's what Josiah, You had Hezekiah who brought forth some reform, and you had Josiah, related grandson of of Hezekiah, but they didn't get all of the filth out of the Upper Grove areas. They could in and around Jerusalem, they could get rid of the Sodomites and get rid of some of that filth, but but it never completely was cleansed. And as soon as that king dies, it all just begins to pro proliferate again. And so might get four years of holding it back, and then and then you get eight years of the filth coming in again, you know? So slow it down, I guess. Whatever. Thou has moreover multiplied thy fornication land of Canaan unto Chaldea, and yet thou was not satisfied with this. How weak is thine heart, saith the Lord God, seeing thou does doest these things, the work of an imperious harlot. And so you're unashamed, you're brazen, you're I don't know what the word vixen means, but you're a vixen prostitute, sex sells, free sex, and down to verse 33, you're an unfaithful nymphomaniac, just obsessed with sex. So in that, thou build thine eminent place in the head of every way and maketh thine high places in every street and has not been as a harlot and thou scorns higher, so you're actually doing it for free. Free sex. But like a wife that committeth adultery who taketh strangers instead of her husband, it's very unfaithful. It is an unfaithful nymph. Your husband goes to work, and you just got the delivery guy and everybody else coming over. And the guy at the gym, everywhere, this this girl just can't find no satisfaction. They give gifts to all the harlots, but thou givest thy gifts to all thy lovers and hire them that they that they may come unto thee on every side for thy harlotry. And so, some of them are paying for sex, and thou art different from other women in thine harlotries, whereas none follows thee to commit harlotries, and in that thou give us a reward and no reward is given unto thee. Therefore, thou art different. So just a crazy lust. Can't satisfy the lust. And wherefore, oh harlot, hear the word of the Lord. In Revelation seventeen five, the Lord calls calls the apostate church, the woman that rides the beast, a tramp, the queen, the harlot. Thus saith the Lord God, be because thy filthiness was poured out and thy nakedness uncovers through thine harlotries with thy lovers, with all thy idols of thine abominations by the blood of thy children which thou give unto them. So the human sacrifices the genocide. In and around Jerusalem, there's a valley called the Valley Of Hinnom, and the Valley Of Hinnom was a perpetual burning, a dump where they perpetually burn a dead donkey, dead animals, things that could corrupt. And they would take the unwanted pregnancies and put them there in the Valley Of Hinnom. And it's where we get our word Gehenna, which is hell, which is the lake of fire. And that's why we're glad that Nicodemus and Joseph of Arimathea went and begged the body of Jesus and put Jesus in the tomb there in Joseph's tomb because the religious leaders would have simply drug him out and thrown him into the Valley Of Hinnom to just burn the body. Behold, therefore, I will gather all thy lovers with whom thou has taken pleasure and all them that thou has loved with all of them that thou has hated, and I'll even gather round about against thee and will uncover thy nakedness unto thee that thou may sell all thy nakedness. So God's gonna expose you. Your sin will find you out, and he's gonna turn on them. And I'll judge thee as a woman that breaketh wedlock and sheddeth blood are judged, and I'll give thee blood in fury and in jealousy. So how is a woman adult her according to the Mosaic law judged? Stoned. Stoned to death. Stoned. So where was the guy in John eight? They brought the woman caught in the very act, but where was the guy? Right. They were all around. Double standard. Yeah. Yeah. They're all there. They're all there. All those guys. Yep. All those guys. Yeah. So the women, man, they got they they had a oh, man. You know? Just terrible. Jesus was for ruin with women's life. Right? That's right. And I also give thee into the hand and they shall throw down thine in eminent place and shall break down thy high places. They shall strip thee also on your clothes and shall take your fair jewels and leave thee naked and bare. So you're gonna be raped. You're gonna be trashed. When Nebuchadnezzar comes in and his armies come in and you look at the picture that Jeremiah provides in Lamentations, it's so horrible that they're actually practicing cannibalism, eating their own children. They're so devastated when God finally judge. They shall also bring up a company against thee, and they shall stone thee with stones and thrust thee through, with their swords. So Jeremiah twenty five nine, Nebuchadnezzar destroying the city, and and they shall burn their houses with fire and execute judgments upon thee in the sight of many women, and I will cause thee to cease from playing the harlot, and thou also shall give no hire anymore. And so stop. Stop the idolatry in first Timothy five twenty, and those that sin rebuke before all. We do people no service in the church by trying to candy coat sin and change the names of it. If it's adultery, it's adultery. If it's fornication, it's fornication. It's not an affair. It's not abortion. It's murder. And so the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, the fear of the Lord is beginning of knowledge, and that's what's lacking is a healthy sense of the fear of the Lord. That would sober a person. People need to hear many cases before they hear the good news and appreciate the good news, they need to hear the bad news that, the wages of sin is death. Adulterers and fornicators, thieves, you know, will not inherit the kingdom of God. Be not deceived, you know. And so in first Corinthians chapter six, the list that Paul gives, know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? You know, and but then you love it as he comes to the end there, and such were some of you. You know, so it gives the list there of people that who practice these things, who will not enter the kingdom of God. And so adulterers, fornicators, thieves, the drunkards, it's a whole big list, and such were some of you, but you are washed, sanctified. Right? Amen. Justified. And Amen. I'm just gonna stay Completed action. What? I'm just gonna stay single. You're gonna stay single? Yeah. You're married to Jesus? Yeah. Well, you can't trust a man, can you? No. But if the Lord sends one, sweeps off your feet. No. Well, I do weddings and funerals, so you either way. So I make thy my fury toward thee to rest, and my jealousy shall depart from thee, and I will be quiet and will be no more angry. So he's gonna have to punish sin. And, Cheryl, you don't have to get married. Nobody says anybody needs to be married. If you're content single, enjoy your singleness. First time in my life. There you go. Because thou has not remembered the day of thy youth, but has incited me in all these things. Behold, therefore, I will also recompense thy way upon thine head, saith the Lord God, and thou shall not commit this lewdness above all thine abominations. And so you're gonna reap what you sow. God's not mocked. Whatsoever man sows, he shall also reap. Our sin will find us out if we don't repent. And we're told in Ephesians four verse 30 to grieve not the holy spirit. Behold, everyone that uses proverbs shall use this proverb against thee saying, as as is thy mother, so is her daughter. It used to be we'd say that he's just like his father. Right? Like father like son. Right? The apple doesn't fall far from the tree. Right. So I like this in the positive that Jessica and Brittany are like their mother. I like that. That's a that's a compliment to them if they ever, you know, walk in that that closeness to the Lord like like their mother does. Kathy is the Proverbs 31 woman, virtuous woman. And so that's the way you wanna raise your daughters of virtue. So how did Kathy model that? Kathy never dressed them up like harlots. That's right. No matter what the trend, no matter what the style, no matter what Britney Spears or any other little icon was wearing or dressing, if you went to the store and you couldn't find modest clothing, you know, you didn't buy it. You just searched till you could find decent clothing. And you would if you couldn't find the good clothing, you'd have Judy Baumann make them some dresses and some clothes that are suitable for a godly young lady. Now I like as a father, as a as a parent, that when they're young, you can control to a certain degree, you know, what they wear. Later on, they go and they get pierced, they get tattoos, which they knew their dad didn't want, but alright. It's a statement. They're making a statement. And and then they wind up wearing whatever kind of clothes they want, I guess. But but anyway, Kathy did Kathy did her job. She she modeled the Christian life. She never wore, you know, risque kind of clothes or low cleavage clothes or things that would that would entice or that would not practice modesty. So thou art thy mother's daughter and and loathe her husband and her children and thou art sister of thy sister who loathe their husband and thy children. Your mother was a Hittite and your father an an Amorite. So no true love. The neighboring cities are hearing of of your promiscuity and how you are and all. And and thine sister is Samaria and and her daughters and that dwell in it thy left hand and thy younger sister that dwells at thy right hand is Sodom and her daughters. So Las Vegas, New Orleans, Seattle, San Francisco, all these different major cities, this sinfulness isn't in your sister cities and all. But kids come back and say, well, my friends are doing my friend have a have an iPad. My friend has a switch. My friend has a phone, a cell phone. And we as parents, we always say, I don't care what your friends are. You're not doing it. You're not going out. You're not gonna watch that. And You're mean. Yeah. You're mean, you know, so you gotta practice some parenting. You don't love me. You don't love me. Yeah. And and another thing I'd like to get through to Christian parents, anybody that's listening, don't let your kids go spend the night at somebody's house Amen. That you don't know them. I don't care if they're in the church or not. Even if you know them nowadays. I mean, just I mean, when when we were raising Jessica and Brittany in California, one of the things we did was the kids could play with the kids in the neighborhood, but our house was the play place. So they play at our house. They play out front of our house so that we could supervise and watch everything that's going on. And it seemed the other parents liked it because they they got a break. Yet has thou also walked after their ways nor done after their abominations, but as it were a very little thing that was corrupted more than they in all thy ways. And so you're worse than those around you. As I live, saith the Lord God, Sodom thy sister has not done, she and her daughters, the surrounding little cities of Sodom and Gomorrah, as thou has done, thou and thy daughters. So you're worse of incorruption than Sodom and Gomorrah. Behold, this was the iniquity of thy sister Sodom, pride, fullness of bread, abundance of idleness, and her daughters, neither did she strengthen the hand of the poor and the needy. So in her selfishness. And so we look where it starts. It starts with pride. What is pride? Think you're good. You're good. Pardon me? I can be as god. I can be as god. That's prideful. Mhmm. So we we like to talk about confidence and, you know, being sure of ourselves or aware of our gifts, our abilities, our weaknesses, but pride is having a higher view of yourself than you really are. Mhmm. And it stems from the the sin that Satan was guilty of. I, I, I, I. You got an eye problem. So the I wills, the five I wills of Satan in Isaiah 14, I will be as the most high God. So behold, this was the iniquity thy sister sought and pride, and that fullness of bread speaks of prosperity. If riches increase, set not your heart on it. It's not the riches. It's the love of the riches. It's the love of the money that's the root of all evil. But the fullness of bread made it so that, you know, when you're working six days a week real hard and you've gotta stay on it, stay on it, stay on it to provide, you don't have time to sin or not as much time to sin. Right? That's true. And you're too tired to sin when you get done with work. Right? Yeah. But when you only have a three day work week Mhmm. Oh. I would love Everybody wants a four day work week. You know? Now you got more time on your hands, fullness of bread, abundance of idleness. Now you're idle. What do I do with my time? Sleep. Sleep? Cheryl works real hard. She sleeps when she has a day off. But that idleness, what am I gonna do with that idleness when people retire? What do they do with that time that they have all of a sudden? How are they gonna make it useful and productive and good? And then her daughters, neither did she strengthen the hand of the poor and needy. So the selfishness that permeated didn't care about those around her. And they were naughty and committed abomination before me. Therefore, I took them away and I saw as I saw good. So Abraham's interceding, if there's 10 righteous, you know, all the way down to 10, there weren't even 10 righteous. And so the Lord destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah, and a manifestation or one of the living out of their selfishness and their sinfulness, their idleness is they reach a place where they no longer desire women. They're they're so sold out. They rather than two becoming one in marriage and being satisfied in marriage, their promiscuity leads beyond the marital realm, the realm of the marriage bed undefiled. And so experimentation with all other sorts of things. And once they do that, once they go down that path, part of the judgment that we see in Romans one is when they deny the Lord, then the Lord's gonna give them over to that behavior which shames them, which makes them feel abnormal. And so you see the legislation of the normalization of their lifestyle trying to make it normal, acceptable. The psychiatric psychiatrists used to have a label that person that practice homosexuality sodomy was aberrant behavior. And then they joined the homosexuals joined in with that whole psychiatric society and changed those laws. And presently, the one that's pushing real hard, Oprah says if you do it, the kids like it, is they're trying to legislate pedophilia to make it and they're lowering the age of consent lower and lower and lower so that these predators like we saw in Sodom and Gomorrah, two fresh men came into town and these angels were there and these men wanted them. They wanted to know them sexually. And so Lot, being father of the year, offered his virgin daughters, and they had no desire for Lot's virgin daughters, no desire at all. So So be careful in society. They're gonna be the fairies reading the stuff at the library. They're gonna be working at daycares. Everywhere where kids are, they're going to get jobs and be in places where they can groom and prey upon. And they need your children. They don't produce their own children. So they need to make your children words of the state where they can do things to your children without your knowledge while they're at school and change their gender and all that other sorts of thing. And so I call it the red line. I asked the guys at a men's teaching that I did maybe ten years ago when I told them about how this was coming, they laugh and mock me, and they say he's weird and he's a little off. And I asked them the question, where's your red line? When are you gonna wake up? When are you gonna finally say enough's enough? Are you gonna do it when they come after your kids as pedophiles? And then that was too much for them. They think I'm a weirdo, but but it's happening. It's happening right now. And who's the weirdo? And they were naughty and committed abomination before me. Therefore, I took them away as I saw good. Neither and so it's a good thing that the Lord puts down a corrupt society to protect future societies. You know? It's like putting a rabid dog down. The lawlessness is taking place today. I'm crying out for the Lord to raise up a sheriff, to raise up somebody that will just implement the rule of law against these criminals who have the ability to Bill Gates, for instance, to do all this killing of people all over the world, but no prosecution of him or George Soros or Klaus Schwab or any of them. You know, the enormous amount of people that are being genocide and dying, And and I just cry out for the Lord to raise up a standard of righteousness against this criminality. So neither has Samaria committed half of thy sins, and thou hast multiplied thine abominations more than they, and has justified thy sisters and all thine abominations with thou hast done. So, you know, you're the surrounding cities aren't anywhere near as bad as you guys are, and you guys try to justify what you're doing. You say, oh, I I I'm I'm pretty and I'm godly and I feel skinny and, you know, I got lots of money. I'm rich and greased with goods in need of nothing. And and yet the Lord is saying this an abomination which you've done. And you make them look good with how evil you are. Thou also has judged thy sister, bear thine own shame for thy sins that thou hast committed more abominable than they that are more righteous than thou. Be thou confounded also and bear thy bear thy shame. So again, this word shame, this word shame's been really hitting me. Something that's very lacking in America, lacking in the church, lacking in our culture. It seems we can sin and we don't blush anymore. So more righteous than thou and that be thou confounded also and bear thy shame in that thou has justified thy sisters. So you're making your sisters look good with how wicked and evil you are. And these are the pagan cities and peoples and countries around you. When I shall bring again their captivity, thy captivity of Sodom and her daughters, and the captivity of Samaria and her daughters, and I will bring again the captivity of thy captives in the midst of them. And so restoration in the future that thou mayest bear thine own shame and mayest be confounded in that thou hast done in that thou art a comfort unto them. When thy sister Sodom and her daughter shall return to their former estate so God said, I'm gonna restore these guys someday. I'm gonna restore these these cities and these places, you know, in the future. And her daughter shall return in their former estate, then thou shall your daughter shall return to your former state. So the area of Jordan, the area of the Dead Sea area, some of these places the Lord's gonna cause during the millennium to come back around. He's gonna allow the Egyptians and Lebanon and these foreign cities are gonna be a part of the millennium and be a part of the Gentile nations that you and I are ruling and reigning over. And the dominant is gonna be Israel with Jesus ruling and reigning from Jerusalem. And so for thy sister Sodom was not mentioned by thy mouth in thy day of thy pride, before thy wickedness was uncovered as it is at this time of thy reproach of the daughters of Syria and all that are round about her, the daughters of the Philistines who despise thee roundabout, so being exposed. Thou has borne thy lewdness and thine abomination, saith the Lord. And so you're reaping what you've sown. You're bearing your own lewdness. For thus saith the Lord God, I will even deal with thee as thou has done, who has despised the oath in in breaking the covenant. So God's not mocked. You've borne your lewdness. So apparently, World War two, when there would be certain harlots that would service many of the the foreign enemies, there come a time where the locals may take a harlot woman and shave her head, you know, to to shame her publicly, just shorn her hair, and they're they're disciplining her for having, you know, slept with the enemy, so to speak. He says, nevertheless verse 60, nevertheless, I will remember my covenant with thee in the days of thy youth and I will establish unto thee an everlasting covenant. God's unconditional covenant to the nation of Israel in Jeremiah 31. They're gonna be born again. God's gonna establish mercy. Then thou shalt remember thy ways and be ashamed. And when thou shalt receive thy sisters, thine elder and thy younger, and I will give them unto thee for daughters, but not by thy covenant. So part of the reason we don't see any shame is people are not born again. The church is filled with unbelievers. But when you're born again, there's a whole different dynamic taking place within your heart where the Lord convicts you and the Lord says, you know, that this isn't right. You can't continue doing this. And so he writes his law in your heart. He gives you a new heart. And I will establish my covenant with thee and thou shalt know that I am the Lord. Jeremiah 33 gonna be restored. Jeremiah 31, 31 through 34, a new covenant, unconditional covenant that thou mayest remember and be confounded and never open thy mouth anymore because of thy shame, there's that word again, when I am pacified toward thee for all that thou has done, saith the Lord God. When I'm pacified, what's that mean? What's that mean? Pacified. How how is God pacified? When satisfied. Comfort us. How is God pacified? When he's angry. He's angry and he's gotta judge sin. What pacifies him? Repentance. Repentance. Repentance. Wrath. Wrath. Wrath. Pours out his wrath on his son and his anger is pacified. You can repent all you want. Not gonna pacify his anger. Someone has to pay. Someone has to pay for all this. It kinda reminds me of Seattle because, you know, like, four or five years ago, there was all those riots. And they were like, we gotta get rid of all these cops, blah blah blah blah blah. And then now there there's no shame in them saying that they made the wrong mistake. Now they're offering 50,000 signing bonuses for cops to come there, and nobody wants to still come there even with the $50,000. I heard Frisco's the same way. Yep. Yeah. Yep. Nobody admits doing wrong. Nobody admits anymore. Wants to admit that they were didn't do wrong. The Trump does admit wrong in the work jab. Maybe Nobody's done wrong. If said that they did wrong and they made the wrong choice about the cops Yeah. Then maybe they would be like, hey. Maybe there's some hope, but we can come back here. So when Jesus said, it is finished, what does that mean? He paid for our sin. Paid in full. He paid for it. And when he said, father, if you're willing, remove this cup from me. What was that cup? His wrath. Cup of wrath. Nevertheless, not as I will, but thy will be done. So he that knew no sin became sin. And the father poured out his wrath upon Jesus as a substitute to pacify his righteous, just holiness in that he has to punish sin. So he punished the sin upon his son. He poured out his wrath upon his son and Jesus is crying out, my God, my God, why has thou forsaken me? Where are thou so far from my roaring? So Jesus experiences that wrath being poured out upon him and the father separates himself from his son first time in all of eternity. And he that knew no sin became sin. And so as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, so shall the son of man be lifted up. And that serpent represents sin sin. And he says in Psalm 22, I'm a worm and no man. And so we we see how ugly we are, how ugly Sodom and Gomorrah is, how ugly life can be apart from God. But there's the transition that says says here, nevertheless or but, you know. And so the wages of sin is death, but But they like that but. What's comes after the but? Kill them all. The gift of God is eternal life. So you see the one part, the wages of sin is death. That's what we deserve, eternal separation from God. But the gift of God, eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Right? Yeah. Alright. So let's pray. Father, thank you for this chapter. It's very sobering. I don't know how you put up with us, Lord. Your love is is so amazing. And, we we thank you that our relationship with you isn't based upon works, based upon our righteousness, based upon our ability to fulfill any kind of kind of standard. But, Lord, it's a love relationship that we enter into, that you hold on to us, that you're transforming and changing us from within. Just as you will the nation of Israel, you're gonna give them a new heart. You're gonna write your law within their heart. They're gonna come to faith. They're gonna be born again. They're gonna fall in love with you. They're gonna mourn. They're gonna be filled with shame. They're gonna sorrow and recognizing that they crucified their own Messiah. And, Lord, we yearn for that day. But presently, Lord, we pray that our lives would be an expression of gratitude and thankfulness and thanksgiving in knowing who we were BC before you came along, before you saved us, when we were lost. And Lord, our life would simply be a life of worship, a life of ascribing worth unto you, that, Lord, we want people to know who you are. We want them to experience your love. And, Lord, we we know that we can't do it without the power of your holy spirit. We know that you're madly in love, with people. And, Lord, save now. Save our family members. Save, Teresa Olsen's friend, Aleska and John, who are gonna have a surgery this week. And she just so much wants for their family, to all be saved. And, I just pray that you save each of our family members and friends and give us these divine appointments to share the glorious good news of your coming kingdom. Thank you that the hope that we have is a blessed hope. Thank you, Lord. You're a God of hope. Thank you that our future is bright. Our future is so incredibly bright and exciting, Lord. It's not doom and gloom. And this is the worst in this life that we'll ever experience, that we'll ever see in this life is but a vapor, Lord. It's short. So this light affliction which is but for a moment is working a far more internal weight of glory, while we look not at the things which are seen, but the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal. Thank you, Lord, for the crowns you're gonna give us, that we're gonna be able to lay at your feet, and we're able to sing and worship you for so great a salvation, so great a savior. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
