Ezekiel 16

He draws stark parallels to modern issues raised in the sermon, including abortion, sexual exploitation and the normalization of perversion, and calls out the church for its lack of shame and doctrinal compromise. At the same time he emphasizes God’s mercy and redemption, describing adoption, cleansing, anointing, the everlasting covenant and the promise of restoration for a repentant remnant. He urges us to repent, protect our children, live in grateful obedience, and hold fast to the hope of Christ’s return and the crowns he will give.
