Good evening. We're live Monday night here in Bremerton, Jeremiah chapter 47, and we, we're gonna open with prayer. Father, we come before you, and we pray that you bless this night, that, we would, be led by your holy spirit, that you teach us, Lord. We pray for the neighbors next door that they not over, you know, don't pop their heads, but, Lord, as much as lies within us, seek peace with all people, Lord. We're seeking peace, and we pray that you calm them down and help them with the parking of cars and stuff. We can't help becoming a megachurch, Lord. It just happens. And we just pray that you you save them, and we'd have even more parking, Lord. So bless, we pray this night. In Jesus' name, amen. Amen. Amen. More parking. Amen. Amen. Holiness. Your Alright. Thanks, Rob. Praise the lord. We are in Jeremiah chapter 47. 47. And, let's see her announcements. Tonight's your last night according to the 23rd Republican District to vote for Jeremy Anderson, if you so choose, because in Oregon, they are outlawing having private farms and gardens and things like that. And in Kitsap County, apparently, it's getting harder and harder to get permits to do things in regard to, you know, farming and and all that. So Jeremy has a big farm. We buy our meat from him, Woodpecker Hill Farms, and and he's running for office. So you have till tonight. You can do it online, and you can I did it last night online? Kathy did it. And so we put our vote in because I I I hope that he gets elected more than I hope Trump does because my meat is very important to me, and I don't wanna eat crickets. So this is a real vote. This vote matters. This is a real vote. So, let's pray for him. Father, we come before you, we lift up Jeremy and his family. Thank you for the work they're doing. Good Christian family. And, Lord, we pray that overwhelmingly in Kitsap County that Jeremy would be raised up to bring some common sense, any kind of sense to that of government in our county. We thank you for our county government, how we came through COVID so well with the sheriffs and everybody, and we pray that all those that have infiltrated county commissioners and such to try and bring in a UN agenda into Kitsap County. We pray that people like Jeremy and sheriffs and others would say no and that we already have laws in place and that protect us to be able to be sustainable, Lord. Sustainability that we could grow our own food, raise our own animals, and work as a network of people in this community, as a community, to grow and and disperse and produce and be able to circumvent the Bill Gates and the Bezos and all them that are trying to destroy our source of foods, Lord, and, try and make us eat junk. So we pray, Lord, that you'd raise up a standard against the wickedness of these globalists, of the devil, and, Lord, that we'd have a a window of opportunity, a period of time, Lord, where we can still stand and and do that which is necessary. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen. Amen. Alright. Well, hope God hears that prayer. Let me tell you. Alright. So I hate to lose my source. I feel like I'm a drug addict. Now I gotta find a new dealer. You know, what am I gonna do? That's a big thing for me too because I'm a farmer in my cell thing. Mhmm. Yep. Water. They're doing an organ based upon water. They're saying the water's not yours to use. You're using more than your quota taking water away from other people. I pay more than other people. There you go. And it rains. So, basically, everybody needs to noncomply and the military, everybody on the border, they just gotta not follow orders that go against the constitution. Just not gonna do it. So, everybody's gotta stand up against the tyranny. Alright. So Jeremiah 47. Father, just bless your word now in Jesus' name. Amen. So God's using, the Babylonians to, as a sword of the Lord to wipe out these nations, surrounding surrounding, you know, Israel. And we looked at the times of the Gentiles in in Luke chapter 21 where Babylon becomes a world ruling empire. And then we talked about later on how the Medes and the Persians are gonna subdue the Babylonians. And then after the Medes and the Persians, Alexander the Great, the Greeks, and then al after Alexander the Great, the Romans. And then the Romans go for about almost five hundred years, and it splits east to west. And and so in Daniel's Nebuchadnezzar's vision and Daniel's interpretation, the iron mixed with clay, the rebirth of the Roman Empire during the tribulation period with the Antichrist ruling and and 10, an imperial form of government where 10 kings, according to Daniel two, the 10 toes, the 10 crowns, the 10 heads, and all. So this world empire and the and these nations and all, the lord's able to raise one up, take one down. We talk about the shelf life of a nation. We, as America, are a pretty young nation. We've been a superpower for a period of time, but, the lord can use Egypt to wipe out the Philistines or start it. The lord can use as he's going to the Babylonians to finish it. And and so this chapter here deals with the Philistines. Next week is the Moabites. And and so the word of the Lord that came to Jeremiah the prophet against the Philistines before Pharaoh smote Gaza. So this is about June. So what's happening here is when Josiah was killed, pharaoh Necho slew him in battle. He told him don't go out and battle with the Assyrians and all. And he went anyway, and he got killed. So that was around June. And, on the way heading back toward Egypt, it looks like he came through the area of Gaza where the Philistines are and was, gonna smite that city, gonna destroy that city of the Philistines. Now who are the Philistines? This is an important question in the day in which we're living because if we don't know historically who the Philistines are, then the nation of Israel, may not have right to their land because they may not be the ancient indigenous people of that land for the liberals out there, people that don't know their Bible. So people would draw be drawn into I grew up at a time or years ago, There was a guy named Yasser Arafat, and he was the leader of the Palestinian, you know, liberation army or whatever. And so part of his funding and the monies that he would get for these Palestinian people that, you know, in the area of Gaza. So, is he would say, wait a minute. We have a right to this land because we are in fact the ancient Philistines. That was his argument. And a lot of people couldn't argue back. They didn't understand. They they thought, yeah. That's right. That's right. So why is that an important question? Who are the Philistines? They're all dead. They're all dead now. Yeah. Gone. You never meet a Philistine. Right? Is it in Israel? But there's a whole lot of Israelites still alive. Right? And that's a that's a good thing Sheryl points out is that a lot of these ancient peoples, you know, Egypt's obviously still alive, but Moabites is present day Jordan. Have you ever met an Amalekite? You know? There's a lot of these ites that are gone. Termites, all of them. Right? And and so the Philistines become a perennial enemy of of the nation of Israel. David deals them in second Samuel eight verse one. He finally wipes them out pretty good. But later, as we're in Jeremiah here, they're still Philistines. And so he didn't wipe them out completely. He subdued them to the point that they weren't, you know, warring with them again. When Solomon came in, same sort of thing. But eventually, God's gonna use in this chapter here the Babylonians to completely wipe out the Philistines. So if we were to say today, if somebody said, well, wait a minute. Those people in Gaza have a right to that land, by what right? By squatters' rights? Is it their land? Or in 05/14/1948 when the Belfar declaration was declared, the move of Zionism of getting Israel back in the land, and god gave this land to Abraham. So by right of God, God's the one who owns it. God gave it to to, you know, to Israel. They've never entered into all the geographical areas of it, and people are wanting to fight over Jerusalem. And that's part of the times of the Gentiles when when Israel finally subdues when Jesus returns, then all the Gentile nations can be subdued, and that next world rule will be the nation of Israel having dominance over all the planet with Jesus as king of kings and David as his prince, and you and I being a part of the government as kings and priests during that period of time. So that's what we call the millennium. But in this case here, David subdues them in second Samuel eight verse one, but they are perennial enemy. So even today, if you were to if you were to look at it in the argument about, hey, these are the ancient, you know, Philistines. They have a right to land. No. On 05/14/1948 with the Belfour Declaration, what happened was is the British who had control of the area, they decided that we'll put Israel in a spot where they're up against overwhelming odds, and we're going to let Arabs, all the Arabs, and everybody that can run toward that land and whoever can win the war, then they get the they get the geographical area that today is known as Israel. So Israel miraculously was able to subdue all these overwhelming host of of Arabs and to the amazement of the British and those of Egypt and all, but there was still a certain amount of Arabs living in the area. Israel didn't have a complete dominance of the whole area Even so much as they didn't have dominance of Jerusalem, the Jordanians still had Jerusalem. So it wasn't until later with the nineteen sixty seven war that Moshe Dayan, one of his soldiers, actually took Jerusalem from the from Jordan who had control of of Jerusalem, and he's looking across with his field glasses, and he saw them put up an Israeli flag. But because of political pressure, Moshe Dayan had him take it down because they didn't want to incite all of the Arabs with the Dome Of The Rock Mosque there and all that to go insane. So they they pulled the flag down and tried for some sort of diplomacy. There's a lot of folks that wish they had kept that up there because they've dealt with a dividing of Jerusalem all that time, a dividing of the state. You know? They're fighting right now with the Biden administration wanting a two state, you know, policy, a two state solution to the nation of Israel having the Palestinians there wanting, you know, rights of citizenship. So as far as I know, the Jews are willing to let the Palestinians, Arabs live there as long as they behave themselves and not do a proxy war through Hamas and the Hezbollah and all. So that's kinda what's going on. So with the argument, the oral argument, the debate, well, who has rights to this land? Well, Israel, this is their land, and and they they got kicked out of their own land after seventy AD when the Romans got tired of dealing with them, and they were dispersed throughout the whole world. And then miraculously, God fulfilled his promise in Ezekiel thirty six and thirty seven that he would regather them from all over the world. And on 05/14/1948 is when they had a statehood where they reborn is the way it's described in Ezekiel thirty six and thirty seven. Unprecedented in the history of the world that a people could be sent out for over two thousand years and away from their land and still maintain their identity, still know who they are, and come back into the land that God said that he would regather them in. So pretty amazing. For you and I today, one of the key issues that we look at is Israel. All these Bible people, thumpers, everybody, a lot of them, their whole eschatology is messed up because they replace Israel with the church. They don't think Israel has a right to the land. So I would agree that with other pastors that that's a demonic false doctrine when you go against Israel in that way. So here you have God using he's gonna be using Babylon to deal with Egypt, Babylon to deal with all these different nations, but that starts out describing the word of the lord that came to Jeremiah, the prophet against the Philistines before, pharaoh smote Gaza. So about June, about five years later, five years after this, in 06/2004, Babylon will come in like a flood against these cities, against against the Philistines. So the word of the Lord that came to Jeremiah the prophet against the Philistines before Pharaoh smote Gaza. Now, the Philistines have what's what's known as a pentapolis, which is five main cities and five rulers over those cities. So these cities, according to Joshua thirteen three, are called Gaza, Ashkelon, Ashdod, Gath, and Ekron. And so this one here, Gaza, made famous by a guy named Samson who met a harlot there named Delilah of of Judges chapter 16, and he met his match. He told his secret, you know, if you cut my hair, if you shave my head, I'll be as weak as any other man. And that was the city that that of Gaza that we're talking about here. So what is the area in question that Israel's fighting over now? Gaza? So it's a coastal area. Right? It's a coastal area if you look at a map. So the Philistines, again, we come back to that question. Who are the Philistines? Who are these guys? We're gonna see that there's speculation of who they are, but they they are sailors and that they came from the Island Of Crete. The word down here, Kathtor, is a word for the air the Island Of Crete. So the Cretans Paul talks about the Cretans. They're lazy gluttons and all that. Right? Okay. Also, got you got Barnabas who's from Cyprus. So there's a debate of, are they really from Crete? Are they are they from Cyprus? And then you got Tyre and Sidon who also is mentioned here. And some say that they're also because they're working so closely with Tyre and Sidon that they're ancient Phoenicians. So both seafaring tribes of people love the ocean and all that. And when we get to Tyre and Sidon, that's an interesting one because Tyre and Sidon, they've got a little island off the coast. And when Nebuchadnezzar wants to wipe them out, they don't care for the the property on the right on the coast because they just go and they they continue to survive living on their island. Well, when when Nebi Nebi couldn't subdue Tyre and Sidon, so we'll see in Ezekiel when we get there that Alexander the Great, when he came along, he took all of the rubble that Nebbe destroyed on the mainland right there, Tyre and Sidon, and he used it with his soldiers to build a causeway, to build a jetty out to the island. Because the people out on the island were mariners. They had ships. They could get food. They could distribute. They could do everything. Just kinda laugh laugh at king Nebbe and his armies because they couldn't get out there. And but, anyway, Alexander the Great figured out a way and then wiped them out. You know? So got them, but scraped and never to be raised up again. So turn to Judges chapter three. Didn't think we're going there, did you? Judges chapter three. So we wanna come back and we're we're looking at the the book of Judges. The children of Israel are coming off the time of of Joshua. Joshua dies, and the Lord raises up a system of judges. So Rami asked earlier, where's the authority of Samuel, the prophet, to, be able to kill king Agag of of the Amalekites? And the answer is, part of the form of government. If we look at the form of government, it's a theocracy. God was with Moses and with Joshua with a pillar of fire at night and a cloud, Shekinah glory, you know, by the day to cover them from the heat. And so later when the children of Israel, after the duration, the four hundred thirty years of the book of judges, Samuel was the last of the judges. So there's a theocracy operating, but Samuel was a judge, so he had authority. He had authority, extended authority to implement God's will. So not just a prophet, but also a judge. And as a judge, when we're coming into first Samuel, the children of Israel get tired of this theocracy, and they ask for a king. They wanna be like all the other nations. And God indicates to Samuel, Samuel, they haven't rejected you. They've rejected me. And and it broke God's heart because they had a a theocracy where God's ruling and reigning. And and that's the form of government that I believe in. I'm not Republican or Democrat. I'm messianic. I'm looking for a theocracy where Jesus, king of kings and lord of lords, where almighty gods ruling and reigning once again. So regardless of what kind of government there is in place, we have a constitutional republic. God is sovereign. God is ruling and reigning. We have the liturgy god of this world, Satan, usurper that has authority, but ultimately, God still makes every decision. So for you and I as Christians, if any government comes along that violates God's laws, doesn't matter what your human laws are. If you're told Jews are bad, kill Jews, that violates God's law. And you don't do what they're doing. Right? You obey God rather than men. And and you go away rejoicing that you're counted worthy to suffer for their sake and all. So as far as authority goes. So God's sovereign. He's sovereign over all of them. Extension of that authority through Joshua. Joshua's dead. Now the year of the book of Judges. So look at chapter three here. Now these are the nations which the Lord left to test Israel by them even as many of Israel as had not known all the wars of Canaan. So Joshua Joshua and the boys were learning war. And Caleb and Joshua, man, they were fierce warriors, and they had to be held back because they wanted to go in and take out, you know, take out the Canaanites. But when the 12 spies went out, 10 came back with an unbelieving report and said, boy, there's giants in the land. These guys got walled villages and all that. Well, Caleb and Joshua are, like, 40 years old at the time, and they're saying, let's go. Let's do it now. You know? And, but they had to wait forty years as the lord caused the nation of Israel to go in a circle for forty years, fed them with manna. It's a mixed multitude of people. You could never please them at all. And Moses wound up on Mount Nebo looking across, but he couldn't go over because people provoked him in his heart, the meekest man in the world. You know? And he misrepresented the type and all. But Joshua being Moses being a type of the law and Joshua being a type of Jesus, it's Jesus that gets us over the Jordan into the promised land. The law can't do that. And so so Joshua reaches the end of his his career and he dies. And so now it's a system that God establishes of the book of Judges. Now in the book of Judges, there's a cycle. And the cycle is a four part cycle that the children of Israel are worshiping God, and they're in sync with him. They're needing to learn the art of war here, these folks, Joshua's dead, because you're gonna have enemies. And God's gonna use those enemies to test, we see, the nation of Israel, of whether you're going to obey God or not. And if you don't obey God, so now you're obeying God and you're being blessed. You follow for the idols after about forty years is the duration of people obeying God. And then after about forty years, they get tired of obeying God and being blessed, and they're enticed by their enemies into idolatry. They go into idolatry for a period of time. God uses a foreign nation to thump on them, and they could go into bondage to that foreign nation, whether it's the Midianites or the Philistines or the Amalekites, any of these Canaanite civilizations, and they can go into bondage with them for like eighteen years, twenty years, whatever. And then the bondage gets so severe that they begin to cry out to God again. So it's pressure. It's pain that corrects them. Right? So whom the Lord loves, he chastens and he scourges every son. So it's the kindness of God that leads me to repentance. It's his kindness. But sometimes his kindness is a good spanking. And when he spanks, if I'm the prodigal and I walk away, the punishment I'm receiving are consequences because of my own decisions. And in those consequences, there's there's pressure applied. There's pain there. I'm eating pig food and all. I've run out of money. I've lived crazy. But the kindness of God leads me to repentance. I think of the Lord. I think of dad at home. Hey, man. Servants have it better than I do. I'm gonna head toward home. That's a picture of repentance. As soon as you turn and head toward God, he runs toward you. He's looking out the window the whole time. He can't go rescue the foreign land. I mean, you gotta use the word can't loosely. God can do whatever he wants, but he doesn't. He waits for you to come to a place of repentance. And then and then he comes, kills a fatted calf, the robe of righteousness, the ring on your finger and all, and and, you know, you're back in right standing with the Lord. And so so in this cycle here, they would they would be rescued and they'd enjoy this prosperity once again, and they'd fall away. So this is a cycle that went on for four hundred and thirty years, and so notice what happens. So he says only that the generations children of Israel might know to teach them war, at least to such as before they knew nothing of it, namely the five lords of the Philistines and all the Canaanites and the Sidonians and the Hivites who dwelt in Mount Lebanon from Mount, Balhem on Hermon, as far as the entrance of Hema. And they were to test Israel. God's gonna use them to test them to know whether they would hearken unto the commandments of the lord which he commanded their fathers by the hand of Moses. So these nations are there as a sword of the Lord. Right? God's gonna use a foreign nation to discipline his own people and, to correct them. And, and so the children of Israel dwelt among the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Amorites, the Perizzites, the Hivites, the Jebusites, and they took their daughters to be their wives and gave their daughters to their sons and served their gods, little g gods. And the children of Israel did evil in the sight of the lord and forgot the lord, their god, and served Balaam and the idols. So why does Jesus tell us to partake at communion and this do in remembrance of me? Because we, like everybody, can forget the Lord. Right? Mhmm. We can forget, especially, you know, coming out of the great depression, you look at my grandma, you look at people that came out of that hard era and, you know, World War one, economic crash, the World War two, man, they are penny pinchers. They knew where every penny was. They worked for everything. They never forgot how scarce food was and how difficult it was for dads and moms and everybody to get jobs and all that. They're a totally different breed, and they built a they built a country. And then the next generation, you know, they had babies too, and houses and cars, and the next generation has no concept of that. It's all prosperity. And they turn their backs upon God. Right? Mhmm. They come into the sixties and these kids think, hey, sexual revolution, drugs, all of it. You know? And and so you're basically taking the Bible out of school, prayer out of school, you're you're turning your back upon God, and you sow to the wind, you're gonna reap the whirlwind. So it takes a while. It takes forty years, fifty years, sixty years, and this is where we're at today. We're at a place where we've turned our back upon God for so long as a country that now God he very might well use a foreign nation to correct us, to discipline us. Why us? Because too much is given, much is required. You claim to be a Christian nation. You had it so good, you know, but it's me that you've rejected. And so so, anyway, the lord lord used that to test them, to correct them. And he says, verse eight, therefore, the anger of the lord was hot against Israel, and he sold them into the hand of Cush Eiryim, king of Mesopotamia, so this area of Iraq. And, and so he sold them. I feel like we're being sold by our leaders to the Chinese, to all the foreign countries that want our land, want our houses, want our everything, just our whole way of life, and, they're invading our country presently. We are being sold out, and yet God's above all that allowing it to happen. And the children of Israel served Kusharim eighteen eight years. So they got whooped on. They're serving them for eight years. And when the children of Israel cried unto the Lord so what's the solution? Decrying to the Lord. Get the whole nation crying unto the Lord, praying, crying out to God. And when the children of Israel cried under the Lord, the Lord raised up a deliverer to the children of Israel who delivered them, even Othniel, the son of Kenaz, Caleb's Caleb's younger brother. So Joshua and Caleb, when they finally, after that forty years, Caleb was promised the area of Hebron. And he says, I'm 80 and five years old this day. I'm as strong today as when I was 40 years old. And the Anakim were in that upper area of Hebron, which means there were giants in the land. And Caleb didn't care. I'm going up there at 85 years old, and I'm gonna clean them out because this is my inheritance. So now you have a son who has that same spirit within him, Othniel, and the son of Caleb's younger brother, and men of faith is what we'd call them. And the spirit of the Lord came upon him. That's the most important sentence there. The spirit of the Lord coming upon you and I. So the relationship with the Holy Spirit in the Old Testament is you had no indwelling of the Holy Spirit in the Old Testament dispensation. That's why Jesus said, it's expedient that I go to be with the father because if I go to the father, I'm a send the comforter unto you, holy spirit. But you would see the holy spirit come upon Samson, come upon Opniel. So it's the epi experience that Jesus promised to wait for the promise of the father. The the, you shall receive power when the holy ghost comes upon you. Jesus breathed the holy spirit to his disciples after his resurrection, said to receive you the holy spirit, so the indwelling of the holy spirit. All of us who are Christians have the holy spirit. If we don't have the holy spirit, we're not saved. In the old testament dispensation, these guys had to await. They look future to the crucifixion of Jesus. So there's no indwelling of the Holy Spirit in any of them. They weren't in that that kind of a relationship yet. Their faith was imputed to them for righteousness and that one day Jesus would go to the cross and die for them. But in this case here, Othniel has the Holy Spirit come upon him to endue him with power. And we need that spiritual power. It's not by might nor by power, natural power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord host. And he judged Israel and went out to war and the Lord delivered the Cushan Rishaim, king of Mesopotamia into his hand and his hand prevailed against Cusharin Ahanaem and the land had rest forty years. See that rest? See that wonderful rest? And Othniel, the son of Kenaz died. You lose your great leaders. While your leader's alive, the leader has a firm hand, and he's called the nation to repentance to seek the true and living God. Forty years goes by and that leader dies, and now what happens? What are the people gonna do? And the children of Israel did evil again. You see this? In the sight of the lord. And the lord strengthened Eglon, the king of Moab. Now I read this to my grandkids this morning. This is such an interesting story here. My grandkids, they have another grandpa who makes knives and learns metallurgy and all that. There's gonna be an 18 inch blade made here, a double edged sword. Not a sword, not a big sword, but but a a knife. And there's gonna be a character here who's really, really fat. He's super fat. Fatty. He's got so many rolls so many rolls that he can have a Big Mac stuffed underneath those rolls for a snack later. Food just stuffed all over his body. And and so there's a guy who's gonna be the next leader, the next he's left handed. Left handed. And he makes an 18 inch, one cubit. A cubit's from your elbow, you know, to to your hand here. 18 inch blade. And he's gonna put a sheath over in his right thigh, and he's gonna be able to grab that left handed because everybody's out there right handed. Right? So stealth, you gotta learn the art of war. Part of the art of war is deception. Right? And good people can deceive their enemy. Right? You trick them. They have false information. So some would disagree with that. They'd say, oh, it's gotta be there's no deception. No. There is. Sun Tzu, the art of war. It's deception. So you gotta you gotta catch them. And so the children of Israel did evil again in sight of the Lord, and the Lord strengthened Eglon, the king of Moab, so this can be the next heavy. He's real heavy. He's really fat. Against Israel, because they had done evil in the sight of the Lord. And he gathered unto him the children of Ammon and Amalek and went and smote Israel and possessed the city of palm trees. Ah, that's Huntington Beach. Hold on. Huntington Beach. It's Jericho, city of palm trees. So the children of Israel served Eglon, the king of Moab, eighteen years. Eighteen years because you're disobedient to god. That's a long time. But when the children of Israel cried unto the Lord, there we go again, the Lord raised them up a deliverer, Ehud, the son of Gerah, a Benjamite, a man left handed. And when Rachel, when she died at the gate leading into Bethlehem, house of bread, she named her son like like the pain that was coming from her as she died, Benoni, I think it is, in childbearing. When Jacob came there, he says, no, I'm gonna change his name. He's gonna be the son of my right hand. So this guy's a Benjamite, but he's the son of somebody's left hand, left handed. And by him the children of Israel, right hand speaks of strength, its arm is strength. If you're right handed, your right arm is probably stronger than your left arm. And by him the children of Israel sent tribute unto Eglon, the king of Moab. So you got to pay these guys year by year by year. But Ehud made a dagger which had two edges of a cubit length and he did gird it under his raiment upon his right right thigh. And he brought the tribute onto Eglon. So this is what we call disarming your enemy. You got your plan, your strategy. Now you gotta disarm them. You need the element of surprise. Right? So you're paying them, hey, they're subservient king of Moab. Eglon was a very fat man. And so he did gird it on his right side, and he brought the tribute onto Eglon, king Moab, and Eglon was a very fat man. So I told my grandkids that he was chubby. He's husky. Right? So when he had finished offering the tribute, he sent away the people who bore the tribute, but he himself turned back by the quarries quarries and were by Gilgal and said, I have a secret. Who doesn't want a secret? Secret Aaron under the old king who said, keep silence. And all who stood by him went out from him. So he's left alone. No bodyguards, nobody there. And Ehud came unto him, and he was sitting in the summer parlor, which he had for himself alone. And Ehud said, I have a message from God under thee. And he rose out of his seat. So he got this Ehud, you know, coming closer. And he had put forth his left hand and took the dagger from his right thigh, so nobody frisked him. Nobody put him through a metal detector or anything. How'd this guy get in here? And he thrust it into his belly. My grandkids couldn't believe this next part. So you're you couldn't use your pocket knife on this guy. He's got too many rolls. He's like the Michelin man. Huge, huge girth. And the hilt the hilt, the handle. Right? The haft, you're holding on where your hands at. And the hilt also went in after the blade. So we're estimating 18 inch blade. You can't use a sword. You can't hide it, but 18 inches a cubit. That's not a pocket knife. 18 inches to get there. And pretty soon Gideon started saying, well, Judah's about this this big and, you know, Ezra's this big. They're thinking through this, you know, and how big a knife it would take. And and he thrust it. Left hand, he took the dagger in his right hand and he thrust it into his belly. And the hilt also went in after the blade and the fat closed the pawn. And so he said, well, is this Java the hud? Is that is he is that who he is? Java? My grandkids are like, well, in the Lord of the Rings, papa, there was this guy there that was really fat. You know? Only way they could kill him, they had to chop his head off. And I'm like, oh, okay. Here we go. We're we're in the story. You know? These guys are warriors. And the fat closed upon his hand so that he could not draw the dagger out of his belly and dirt came out. Oh, kids love to know what that is. Won't touch that. Right, Kent? Don't touch that. Probably his intestines got cut a bit or something. So this guy's a real roly poly. Right? So yuck. You better have your gloves. Then he had went forth through the porch and shut the doors of the parlor upon him and locked them. And he has gone out. His servants came, and when they saw that the hold the doors of the parlor were locked, they said, surely, he covers his feet in the summer chambers, which means when you're Elijah and you're fighting the 450 prophets of Baal and you're giving them first shot at it, if you're God's real, cause fire to come down and and burn the offering there. And when he doesn't, Elijah begins to mock him. Maybe he's covering himself. Maybe he's going potty. Maybe he's going to the bathroom. So he's mocking their god. So that's what his men are saying. Maybe he's in the restroom. And and they wait a little longer in verse 25. He's dead on the earth. Gone. So you go through here like this, and notice verse 31. And after him was Shamgar the son of Anath, who slew of the Philistines 600 men with the ox goad with an ox goad, and he also delivered Israel. So you come out of that. Ehud escaped while they came back in the past and come and he blew a trumpet and got the Moabites there and he slew Moab. He had great fourscore years. You got that. And the land had rest fourscore years. So Abraham Lincoln said fourscore and seventy years ago. Right? So how many is fourscore? Forty years. Forty years? What's a score? Four score? I thought it was eighty years, but okay. So four score and whatever years ago. And after him was Shamgram, the son of Anath, who slew the Philistines. So this next judge comes along and he takes an ox goat, and he and he whoops on the Philistines. So this is a continual back and forth, back and forth, back and forth, back and forth. And like I said, David gave rest when David came in to the to the nation in second Samuel eight verse one because he wiped out the Philistines. Now in first Samuel chapter 17, there 80. Sorry. 80. 80. You're right. Oh, okay. I didn't know. Anyway, I like that. That's good. Fact check me. Fact check me. Good. Scores scores Four score and seven years ago. Score is twenty years? Mhmm. Who art thou, Lord? I'm Jesus. Whom you persecuting? Why are you kicking against the goads? They'd have a piece of wood at the flank of the ox when you're plowing so that the the ox couldn't kick you. And if it tried to kick you, it'd goad them. And so, like like a spear, like a pointed a pointed something that points in the there. Once got jawbone hook with that. But, you know, Samson used a donkey's jaw, the jawbone of a donkey to kill Philistines. So now turn to Judges chapter 16. Judges chapter 16. Now I was about to say in first Samuel 17, there's a guy named David who was a shepherd boy, and the Philistines had their champion, didn't they? And and their champion was a guy from Gath named Goliath, nine foot six tall. There's giants in the land. Right? And David slew him with a slingshot because the battle belonged to the lord. Now in chapter 16 here, got 31 verses. We wanna just overview it, or do we want someone to read it? Who wants to read it? When then went Samson to Gaza, which is one of those five Philistine cities. There's there's five cities. There's Gaza, Ashkelon, Ashdod, Gath, and Ekron. And so he's he goes to Gaza, and we're looking at here in chapter 47 verse one, the Philistines before pharaoh smote Gaza. So Samson was in Gaza years ago. And how about Robbie read it? She's such a good reader. Yeah. Robbie. She's got the ethos and the pathos and diction, all the right pronunciation, and probably do a podcast with her one day. Yeah. Yeah. Now Samson went to Gaza and saw a harlot there and went to her. When it was told to the Gazites saying, Samson has come here, they surrounded the the the place and lay in wait for him all night at the gate of the city. And they kept silent all night saying, let us wait until the morning light, then we will kill him. Now Samson lay until midnight, and at midnight he arose and took hold of the doors of the city gate and the two posts and pulled them up along with the bars. Then he put them on his shoulder and carried them up to the top of the mountain, which is opposite opposite Hebron. After this, it came about that he loved a woman in the Valley Of Sorek, whose name was Delilah. The lords of the the lords of the Philistines came up to her and said to her, entice him and see where his great strength lies and how we may overpower him that we may bind him to afflict him. Then will we we will each give you 1,100 pieces of silver. So Delilah said to Samson, please tell me where your great strength is and how you may be bound to afflict you. Samson said to her, if they bind me with seven fresh cords that have not been dried, then I will become weak and be like any other man. Then the lords of the Philistines brought up to her seven fresh cords that had not been dried, and she bound him with them. Now she had men lying in wait in an inner room. And she said to him, the Philistines are upon you, Samson. But he snapped the cords as a string of toes as a string of toe snaps when it touches fire. So his strength was not discovered. Then Delilah said to Samson, behold, you have deceived me and told me lies. Now please tell me how you may be bound. He said to her, if they bind me tightly with new ropes, which have not been used, then I will become weak and be like any other man. So Delilah took new ropes and bound him with with them and said to him, the Philistines are upon you, Samson, for the men were lying in wait in the inner room. But he snapped the ropes from his arms like a thread. Then Delilah said to Samson, up to now, you have deceived me and told me lies. Tell me how you may be bound. And he said to her, if you weave the seven locks of my hair with the web and fasten it with a pin, then I will become weak and be like any other man. So while he slept, Delilah took the seven locks of his hair and wove them into the web. And she fastened it with the pin and said to him, the Philistines are upon you, Samson. But he woke from his sleep and pulled out the pin of the loom in the web. Delilah extracts his secret. Then she said to him, how can you say I love you when your heart is not with me? You have deceived me these three times and have not told me where your great strength is. It came about when she pressed him daily with her words and urged him that his soul was annoyed to death. So he told her all that was in his heart and said to her, a razor has never come on my head for I have been a Nazirite to God from my mother's womb. If I am shaved, then my strength will leave me, and I will become weak and be like any other man. When Dalila saw that he had told her all that was in his heart, she sent and called the lords of the Philistine, saying, come up once more, for he has told me all that is in his heart. Then the lords of the Philistines came up to her and brought the money in in their hands. She made him sleep on her knees and called for a man and had him shave off the seven locks of his hair. Then she began to afflict him, and his strength left him. She said, the Philistines are upon you, Samson. And he woke from his sleep and said, I will go out at other times and shake myself free. But he did not know that the Lord had departed from him. Then the Philistines seized him and gouged out his eyes, and they brought him down to Gaza and bound him with bronze chains. And he was a grinder in the prison. However, the hair on his head began to grow again after it was shaved off. Now the lords of the Philistines assembled to offer a great sacrifice to Dagon, their god, and to rejoice for they said, our god has given Samson, our enemy, into our hands. When the people saw him, they praised their god, for they said, our God has given our enemy into our hands, even the destroyer of our country. Who has slain meant destroy our country, who has slain many of us? It so happened when they were in high spirits that they call they said, call for Samson that he may amuse us. So they called for Sampson from the prison, and he entertained them. And he made him stand between the pillars. Then Sampson said to the boy who was holding his hand, let me feel the pillars on my which the house rests that I may lean against them. Now the house was full of men and women, and all the lords of the Philistines were there. And about 3,000 men and women were on the roof looking on when Samson was amusing them. Then Samson called to the lord and said, oh, Lord God, please remember me, and please strengthen me just this time, oh, God, that I may at once be avenged to the Philistines for my two eyes. Samson grasped the two middle pillars on which the house rested and braced himself against them, the one with his right hand, the other with his left. And Samson said, let me die with the Philistines. And he bent with all his might so that the house fell on the lord's and all the people who were in it. So the dead whom he killed at his death were more than those whom he killed in his life. Then his brothers and all his father's household came down, took him, brought him up, and buried him between Zorah and Esh Eshto in the tomb of Manoah, his father. Thus, he had judged Israel twenty years. Thank you so much, Robbie. So sin binds, sin blinds, and sin grinds. Right? Tragic thing here is he he could reach back into the well, and he could be strong every single time he he come close to telling what the secret of his strength was. And, you know, he was toying with people, letting people know. But he he had a Nazarite vow, so he had a privileged birth. And and the Nazarite vow, he was instructed to never cut his hair, to never drink the fruit of the vine, and to not be around anything corrupt like a dead animal or anything. And the Philistines are their perennial enemy. He's he's a judge for, you know, twenty years, and he could he could kill a thousand Philistines with a jawbone of a, you know, a donkey. He could make riddles. And so when they're wanting to know the secret of a strength earlier, you know, he talked about the the the sweet out of the eater, the honeycomb that was inside of the carcass of a dead lion. So he touched a dead lion. That's one of the things strike against you. Don't do that. He's partying with the harlots and such, so he's around the, you know, the the fruit of the vine. But the third part of the Nazirite vow is don't cut the hair. So he's braiding the hair, you know, weird things. And finally, he lets her know. And the tragedy is just like before, he thought he could reach into the well and be strong enough to throw off those Philistines that were coming at him. But it says he knew not that the holy spirit had departed, and he was as weak as any other man. So the secret of Sansham's strength was what? The holy spirit. Spirit. Right. Not the hair. The hair was just symbolic of of that covenant that he had with the lord, that of a Nazarite vow. Sam's Samuel was also a Nazarite dedicated by Hannah, you know, under the lord, given to the lord. And John the Baptist might have taken a Nazarite vow too with his with his long hair and all that. But in any event, he didn't appreciate it. Now he killed more Philistines in his death than he did during his lifetime. So you see once again, they're they're this perennial enemy, the Philistines, over and over and over again. And and now in second Samuel chapter eight, it says, and after this, it came to pass that David smoked the Philistines and subdued them. And, David took, Methaginimah out of the hand of the Philistines. And and then he smoked Moab, and it goes through chapter eight here of all the different, nations that he smote. And once he smites them, then you have peace. You you don't get to have peace unless you subdue your enemies. Right? Your perennial war, war, war, war, war. So the way Jesus established peace is what? War. The war of Armageddon. And where there isn't gonna be any peace until someone stronger than the devil comes along and binds the strongman. Right? And that's what we need. We need Satan bound in the abyss for a thousand years for there to be peace on earth that the prince of peace purchases for us. So turn back to chapter 47. For Jeremiah? Jeremiah 47. Now in this chapter, as I said earlier, you see the warfare with the Philistines. You see David, in his career, smiting the Philistine champion. As they're there at the battlefield, David's brothers, nobody wanted to engage the Philistines. They didn't wanna deal with this warrior who'd been a warrior from his youth, And David wasn't one that was even in the military. He was tending the sheep. Tending the sheep is the lowest position you could have at that point in time. His brothers, his elder brothers, they were they were there in the military. And David was a guy that was developing this faith in a season of small things of tending his dad's sheep. He once was used of the Lord to kill a lion, a lion that tried to get at the sheep. Another time the Lord used him to kill a bear. So when he saw this Philistine, all he saw was this Philistine warring against God. That's all he saw. This Philistine, the battle belongs to the Lord, he kept telling everybody. The battle belongs to the Lord. God will fight for us. Right? So, you know the story, the Philistine champion. And then he and he tried to put on king Saul's armor, and you can't wear another man's armor. It didn't fit. It wasn't right. So he went out there by faith with a slingshot, and the lord gave him a laser guided guided missile, you know, a rock, gathered five smooth stones. Apparently, Goliath had four other brothers, so David was there to get rid of all the Philistines. Right? The giants. And had the Philistine won, all of Israel would have went and become subservient to the Philistines, but David won when that rock hit the forehead of Goliath, the only place where he didn't have any armor. He had armor all over the place. And David hit him, went deep, went to the ground. Maybe he's knocked out. Maybe he's dead from the first shot. David was gonna wait to find out and see if he wake up. So he grabbed the Philistine Goliath's sword. David didn't have a sword, and he went over and cut his head off. Once he cut his head off and held it up, you know, to all the guys, now they're charged with courage. They all have courage, and they go after, you know, after the Philistines. So later, David's David's king. He he's anointed king instead of king Saul, and, Saul has killed his thousands, and David has tens of thousands. David wanted to build a god a house later when when there was peace established, and god said, David, no. Your hands are too bloody. You're a bloody man. But I'm gonna build you a dynasty. I'm gonna build you a house. The messiah's gonna come forth from you. So the Philistines have been a real pain to the nation of Israel, but we saw where god uses them as a means of of a correction. But in this chapter, God's gonna wipe them out, gonna get rid of the Philistines for good. And we don't see them in the New Testament or any of that. Now we do see the Cretans. Paul said these Cretans are lazy gluttons and all that, but they're not called Philistines. So let me start all over. So the word of the Lord that came to Jeremiah the prophet against the Philistines before Pharaoh smote Gaza, thus saith the Lord, behold, waters rise up and put of the north from the north and shall be an overflowing flood. So from the north, the Babylonians are rising up. Babylonians are gaining strength. And when the enemy comes in like a flood, the spirit of the Lord will raise up a standard, you know, against them. And so the enemy is wanting to come in like that and and shall overflow the land and all that is in it, the city and those who dwell in it. Then the men shall cry and all the inhabitants of the land shall wail. So your big strong men, the strongest of you there in Gaza are gonna be crying. They're not only gonna be crying, but they're going to leave their kids behind. Now that's some fear. That's some real fear, man. When I was watching Band of Brothers, there's a guy there that's just overwhelmed with fear, just so unbelievably overwhelmed with fear. And two occasions of guys overwhelmed with fear. And in one of the occasion, the guy told him, who was very brave, very courageous, said all of soldiering is is understanding you're already dead. You're already dead. And for us as Christians, we're already dead. We don't fear death because to be absent of the body is to be present with the Lord. And and the second guy that was filled with fear, they had to remove him away from the rest of the guys because fear, just as the 10 unbelieving spies came back, their unbelieving report permeated, poisoned the hearts of the rest of the the guys, you know. So it takes a leader to take that keep that fear in check because I imagine we're all afraid to a certain degree. Some just allow it to overwhelm you. And so for us, it's faith. We yield to the Lord and we ask the Lord for the faith because a lot of what we're hearing instills fear in us, but we don't want the fear. Jesus is saying fear not, fear not, fear not, you know? We don't want the fear to paralyze us and to overwhelm us. So we have to counteract the fear with faith. We hold on to the promises of God, and we stand with our armor on moving forward in a battle. There's gonna be a spiritual battle at all times for you and I. And so the Babylonians, men are gonna cry, the inhabitants of the land shall wail, and the noise of the stamping of the hoofs of his strong horses at the rushing of the chariots and at the rumbling of his wheels. The father shall not look back to their children for feebleness of hands. So the cowards are gonna just bail on the kids. They're just every man for himself. So I guess the male bears eat their own. Mama bears, grizzlies have to protect the babes. You know? There's times where mama grizzly, you know, she's got more courage than the than the others. You know? So pretty sad. Because of the the day that cometh to the spoil of the Philistines and the cut off from Tyre and Sidon, every helper that remains for the lord will spoil the Philistines, the remnant of the country of Kaphtor. And so this is a day of vengeance. And in Luke twenty one twenty three, there's a time of vengeance there where God's going to avenge the he's gonna pour out his vengeance upon his own people. He's gonna pour out his vengeance upon the earth during the tribulation period, the people that have rejected, that have turned their backs upon him. For you and I as Christians, God poured out his wrath upon his son at Calvary so that we don't have to face God's wrath. And so we're not appointed under wrath. That's why we're not gonna be here during the tribulation period when God pours out his wrath on a Christ rejecting world. And that same wrath that's poured out, God's gonna use to preserve a remnant. They're gonna go through a fire just as he's testing them. They're gonna go through the fire, the time of Jacob's trouble to be purified, a one third remnant be purified. Two thirds are gonna die during the tribulation period. And and Jesus said the tribulation period is a time so horrible that the world has never seen nor will ever see again. So it's a horrible time. The day come the spoil of the Philistines and the cut off from Tyre and Sidon. So Tyre and Sidon were used to help the Philistines. They're both, as I said, mariners. And so if if Tyre and Sidon if these these people who weren't indigenous to the area, if they're the ancient Phoenicians, and then you've got the Philistines either from Crete or Cyprus, they're helping one another even though they're two different nations. But they're gonna be wiped out. You're not gonna get help from Tyre and Sidon anymore. Every helper that remains for the Lord will spoil the Philistines, the remnant of the country of Calfdor. So Calfdor is another word for Crete. And and so as I said, the Phoenicians, those of Crete, and so baldness has come upon Gaza. Ashkelon is cut off with the remnant of the valley. How long will thou cut thyself? So the this is a picture of mourning. The pagans, when they're mourning, they would shave their heads, and then they would cut themselves in mourning. So it's a picture Jeremiah has given of of the the complete overthrow of those of Gaza. And another city of the five, that of Ashkelon, is cut off with the remnant of the valley. Now this is interesting here, the remnant of the valley. Babylon's gonna wipe all them out, June. The Babylonians are gonna come in, starts out talking about how the Egyptians started it with Pharaoh Necho, but now it's a picture Jeremiah has given of the Babylonians who'd be the one that completely wiped out the Philistines. And now when it says here, the remnant of the valley, if we were to look at the Septuagint or the revised standard version Bible, this would be the Valley Of The Anachem. You remember the Anachem? Anachem are the giants. I was gonna say they're the giants. Yeah. Yeah. Rephaim, Anakim, the Zumim are other names for these these giants. But Joshua and the boys wiped them all out of Israel. There's no giant communities in Israel. Wiped them all out. But the giants were able to move in a direction where the Philistines are, the Valley Of The Giants. And and so the Valley Of The Giants, all these giants are also gonna be wiped out when when Nebbe comes there and wipes them out. So turn to let's look at is it Joshua eleven twenty one through 23? Are the giants aliens? That's a good question. Somebody answer, Sheryl. Are giants aliens? They're nephilim. Nephilim. And what are nephilim? Aliens. Those are angels mixed with humans. So is that true, or are they sons of Seth? Somebody said that they came from the sky or something like that. And maybe So I would I would encourage you to go to, like, Genesis six is where In the very beginning. Genesis six, the sons of god, which are angels, fallen angels Okay. Cohabitated with women. And the offspring of that are the nephilim. Oh, it is in the very beginning. I did just read that. Did you read that? Yeah. And so others would say in argument of that, you need to be ready for this, Angels neither marry nor nor are given in marriage. Right? Jesus said. So holy angels don't marry nor are given in marriage. Fallen angels, Revelation 12 says one third of the stars fell with Lucifer. The fallen angels and when Abraham was sitting in camp, three guys walked into the camp. One of them is the Lord Jesus, two of them are angels, and they look like men. And they're able to go down in Sodom and Gomorrah and look so much like men that the Sodom and Gomorrah guys wanted them sexually. So angels can take on these fallen angels can take on the form of men looking like men, and then they wanted the women sexually. And the offspring are the Nephilim, which, as you're saying, would be some would describe as aliens, you know, hybrids. You know? Now the important thing here is that it goes on to say that Noah was perfect in his generations. He's not perfect morally. We see after the flood, he's naked and drunk. Right? So he's not perfect. So what that word perfect means, he had a perfect DNA. He didn't get the jab. The mRNA didn't get in him to change. And I'm true. That's true. The the globalist the devil's trying to change people's DNA. And some guys are speculating that this is moving in a direction of what's gonna happen during the tribulation period when people take the mark and all, and there there's no hope of salvation for them because they're no longer human. I don't know if that's true or not, but that's where some people are going with that. JD, I think, talks about that. So in any event, when it says Noah was perfect in his generation, it means that his DNA had not been polluted. So God takes eight people and puts them into the ark with the animals, comes out the other side and restarts things because the devil doesn't want the seed of the woman, Genesis three fifteen, to make it to Bethlehem to become the son of man, wants to pollute the human race, because in Hebrews one, we're told that he wasn't born of an angel. Jesus wasn't an angel. He came as a man. He identifies with us as a human being. So the first Adam failed, and we're all Adamic in nature. So the last Adam, Jesus, is perfect, and so he's the only one that could go be the sacrifice to die for our sins. So what's beautiful about that is the favorite phrase that he enjoyed was describing himself as the son of man, identifying with us in our humanity. So Satan wanted to destroy that, and he wants to destroy the nation of Israel. Why? Because the Messiah is gonna come out of the loins of Abraham. He's gonna be a Jew. So that's why Satan continually tries to circumvent what God's doing. So in Revelation 12, Satan's after the woman, the nation of Israel, to destroy them because the Messiah is gonna come rescue that one third remnant, and Satan wants to try and annihilate him, exterminate them all so there's no there's no remnant. There's no Jews anymore. So all throughout the Bible, the devil's trying to circumvent. The devil's a good reader, understands prophecy, understands you know? So he has strategies. He has strategies, but God's omniscient, and God is is ahead of him. Right? So some would call it aliens. So there's there's archaeological evidence of these giants, and some of them, according to Steve Quail, as big as 35 feet tall in Mexico presently in other parts of the world. 35, like, hieroglyphics on walls of caves with the Indians that they could actually pick up a buffalo. They're so big. And their heads, in Texas, they got some places excavated. Of course, the governments come in and try to keep it from people. Huge heads, huge hands, huge bodies. And and what's interesting about that is they're hunted down by small men and killed. So even in Afghanistan, some of the soldiers described these huge red haired guys in these caves in Afghanistan still today. So I imagine the scientists want the DNA of the nephilim to bring forth a hybrid. Right? Joshua. That's scary. What's that? Joshua what? Joshua 11. That was Joshua eleven twenty one. So the Valley Of The Anakim is gonna be wiped out in our text. Now that's in the Septuagint. It's in the RSV. Not on the King James there. It just looks like the valley's gonna be wiped out. Right? So and at that time came Joshua and cut off the Anakim, the giants, from the mountains from Hebron. Remember we talked about how Caleb wants Hebron and there were giants there? So he gets the help of the of the boys. From the mountains, from Hebron, from Deber, from Anab, and from all the mountains of Judah, and from all the mountains of Israel, Joshua destroyed them utterly with their cities. So forty five years ago, Numbers thirteen thirty three, you know, is when Caleb and Joshua wanted to continue to go in. Now Caleb's 85, and finally they're wiped out. So there was none of the Anakim left in the land of the children of Israel. So wiped out in Israel. Now watch this. Only in Gaza. So the Philistines is where these Anakim migrated. They stayed in the area of the Philistines. Joshua effectively cleared them out in Israel. There's none of them in Israel. So in Gaza and in Ashdod, there remained some. So Joshua took the whole land according to all that the Lord said unto Moses and Joshua gave it for an inheritance unto Israel according to their divisions, their tribes, and their land rested from war. And so that's that's very interesting. Joshua thirteen three. Let's see here. Now Joshua was old and stricken in years, and the Lord said unto him, thou art old and stricken in years. There remains yet very much land to be possessed. This is the land that remains at all the borders of the Philistines and all the Geshurai. So these Philistines, they came by ship to the seacoast area of of Gaza. Presently still, there's a battle in Gaza for ownership of that land, possession of that land, and and they homesteaded. From Shihor, which is before Egypt, even under the borders of Ekron northward, which is counted to the Canaanites, five lords of the Philistines, the Gazites, the Ashdodites, the Ashkelonites, the Gittites, and the Ekronites, also the Avim. And so the this is this is the area that Joshua is wiping out, but yet there's still these guys here on the fringe area. And look at look at what look how important it was for king Saul to do what he's instructed to do. Wipe him out completely. Because if you don't, the Amalekites regroup, grow back, and become a perennial enemy described as the flesh. The Egypt, you toy with Egypt, Egypt is a picture of going back into the world. So our enemy is the world, the flesh, and the devil. And so symbolic, if you will. Alright. So here we go. Back to baldness has come upon Gaza. Ashkelon is cut off. So it's it's with the remnant of the valley are gonna be wiped out. How long wilt thou cut thyself? So mourning their loss. He says, O thou So Jeremiah is talking now he's talking in picture symbolism, poetic. He says, O thou sword of the Lord. And you remember when a judge was raised up Gideon, God raised up Gideon, the lowest in his family's house, put the fleece out there. And his phrase that he used was the sword of the Lord and of Gideon. Right? This the Lord is the war the war sword. So the sword of the Lord and when Jesus comes to destroy the Antichrist, how's he come in second Thessalonians two? The sword of his mouth and the brightness of his coming. Yeah. The sword of his mouth, his word. Right? And we have the we have the word of God. It's a sword. Right? The sword of the Lord. We use the word of God as a sword in our armor. And we we don't hide the sword and talk about how strong it is. We use the sword. We use the word of God to combat the lies of the wicked one. And and the word of the Lord in in Hebrews four is living and power powerful and sharper than any two edged sword, dividing asunder soul and spirit, joint and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. So when you and I hear the word of God, the word of God is able to separate in our being between soul and spirit and joint and marrow. Right? The words of men can't do that. Psychology cannot do that. Psychology just deals with symptoms on the surface, a study of human nature, and they're always changing it. They're always trying to come up with another whatever. And basically it's the rudimentary it's a rudimentary science, a very low level science. So we have the power of the word of God. The word of God is living and powerful, sharper than any two edged sword. So when Jesus come, he destroys the antichrist as he's there at Basra with the brightness of his coming and the sword coming out of his mouth and sword of the spirit. So the sword of the Lord, how long will it be before thou art quiet? So kinda talking to himself, talking to the Lord, talking to the Holy Spirit. Lord, the sword of Lord, how long before you're quiet? How long until we have peace? How long until all your enemies are dealt with? Boy, we'd like to know that. Right? How long, oh Lord? Come quickly, Lord. How long? How long? Maranatha, our Lord, cometh, you know? And put up thyself into thy scabbard, rest and be still. There's no rest for the wicked, right? No rest for the wicked. God has to deal with his enemies. He's gotta deal with the devil, gotta deal with the antichrist, the false prophet, gotta deal with the wicked that are in rebellion against him. And and then we're gonna have peace on earth. We're gonna have a thousand years of peace. And so all of the weaponry is gonna be not used anymore, and your swords are gonna be made into plowshares and pruning hooks. You're gonna have food in the millennium. So put up into your scabbard, rest and be still. Now I could imagine if we went through fifteen, twenty years of war here in America, how much we would want peace. I could only imagine soldiers, people, you know, the guys that go to Afghanistan and and and Iraq, and they you know, nowadays, they they go five, six, seven, eight times, you know, and they're wiped out. Man's body, his mind wasn't designed to be, you know, at war for that long, and yet that's the position we took at this point. And twenty years in Afghanistan, then we just leave everything there and walk away. You know? Hey. We still need to guard some poppy fields. You know? Why are we here? Why are we sending airplane loads of cash to Iran if they're our enemy? You know? None of this makes sense. And so we really want peace. And and presently, this attack on Russia, you know, like Alex Jones and the guys saying it has all the earmarks of the CIA using guys who are trained in Turkey to implement a CIA boogeyman, so they've gotta lift up up Russia as a boogeyman, as an enemy, and they wanna go to war. They gotta go to war. The globalist, the bankers always do war. They make a lot of money from war. They get everybody fighting against each other. Nobody ever discovers what the truth is. You get to hide all of the things that you're doing. I'm honing in on one thing right now, and that is the central bank digital currency. Once that happens out of the mouths of the globalists, they have absolute control. It's over. Game over. And it's interesting if Donald Trump is put into office by the globalists, because he's not gonna be elected, he's selected. Men are selected or rejected. And he's not there because the Diebold machines quit working or the Dominion machines quit working and they didn't scam and you know? Biden got in there because they appointed him. So if Trump gets in there, I see him as a salesman for the evangelicals, all the conservatives, to get them to accept the central bank digital currency, especially as this present system is collapsing the dollar, which is an engineered collapse. But I see him as just like he was with the jab as a salesman. And once that happens, it's it's over. It's it's absolute I mean, look at look at how quickly the truckers in Canada got shut down simply by going into their bank accounts and stopping it. You know? Now we can barter, and we can try to circumvent that that globalist system, with food production and all that other stuff, and I think a lot of us will. But that's that's the biggest thing that's coming is that the whole globe would be digitized. And there was an upheaval with Bitcoin today and some other stuff happening. But the blockchain technology, once that's implemented, then they have their control that they've been looking for. So put it back, put it away. So how can it be quiet seeing the lord has given it a charge against Ashkelon? So another one of those cities, the Philistine cities, and against the seashore. There has he appointed it. So they're doomed. God's appointed it. God's gonna deal with them and wipe out the Philistines. And next week, we'll look at the Moabites. The Moabites are a result of an incestuous relationship between Lot and his daughter, one of his daughters. The Ammonites are a result of Lot and an incestuous relationship with his other daughter. So the Moabites, if we look at first Samuel or the book of Judges, and then we wanna go to first Samuel, we've got a book there called Ruth. And Ruth is a Moabitis. Right? And Ruth is mentioned in Matthew chapter one in the lineage of Jesus. So as sordid as Sodom and Gomorrah was, and Lot asking his wife, honey, did you remember to turn off the porch light? And she turned into a pillar of salt when she looked back. Now you've got the girls thinking they're the only human beings left because it was so horrific, the the fire and brimstone coming down. So they're in a little cave, and they get dad drunk, and then they go have dad go into him, and both of them conceive. So you got the Moabites, you got the Ammonites. And Moab is present day Jordan. And here's a such an interesting thing I learned from Arnold Fruchenbaum. During the tribulation period, there are people that survive during the tribulation period who don't take the mark of the beast and make it through the seven years and go into the millennium. It's the Matthew 25 sheep and goat judgment. Right? And they're favorable toward Israel. These are Gentiles. Now, Phrucobam points out that the area of Moab, ancient Moab, Jordan, Petra is off limits to the antichrist. How does that happen? It's like a city of refuge. That's amazing, isn't it? Because where where is where is the one third remnant gonna flee to? They're gonna flee to Moab. They're gonna flee to Petra, present day Southern Jordan. Isn't that fascinating? To me, it's fascinating. Alright. Well, let's pray. Sanctuary city. You yeah. You students of prophecy. Alright. Father, thank you that we could study your word. Thank you that our appetite is sweat and, Lord, we we wanna read more. We wanna continue to read. We thank you for giving us vivid pictures, Lord, that our children, grandchildren, the the imagery there of Ehud, Lord, that that king who's really fat, Lord, like Jabba the Huns, stuff like that. I know that it captivated my grandkids, and they're thinking. They're gonna go back and reread that, and they're fascinated by David and Goliath, the slaying of the giant, you know, Lord, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. Such vivid imagery, such vivid, huge, huge stories, Lord. The world can't come up with these themes and these stories. But Lord, we thank you that these are real men and women throughout history that have trusted you, that have walked with you, they're the heroes of faith. And Lord, we don't want to diminish. We don't want to shame you in these last days. We wanna bring glory and honor unto you, Lord. We wanna finish our course, and we're pressing toward the mark of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus, Lord. So help us finish the race. Help us to win the race, Lord, with your help, with your direction. Help us not to end like Samson, starting out so well and ending so bad. But Lord, his hair grew back just as with Jonah. The word of the Lord came to Jonah a second time. So in all our failures, Lord, and all our falling, Lord, you're so gracious. You're so kind to pick us back up and allow Samson to take down those those Philistines, Lord, to pull those pillars down. Help us, Lord, to learn from the mistakes of others and not repeat them, Lord. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
