Jeremiah 25

Pastor Rick Beaudry traces Jeremiah 25, recounting Jeremiah’s long, faithful call to repentance and the stubborn refusal of the people to hear. He develops the repeated New Testament refrain "he that has an ear to hear, let him hear," contrasting natural hearing with spiritual ears and warning against loving darkness and becoming dull of hearing. The sermon explains God using Nebuchadnezzar to bring judgment, the seventy years of captivity and Cyrus’s role, and ties those prophecies to end times imagery about the cup of wrath while assuring believers we are saved from that wrath. It closes with prayers for the sick, encouragement for us to be faithful and discerning, and a hopeful reminder to prepare for Christ’s return.
