Jeremiah 22
Pastor Rick Beaudry expounds Jeremiah 22, urging kings and us to pursue justice by protecting widows, orphans and the oppressed while warning that persistent rebellion brings divine judgment. He uses Jephthah’s rash vow and the curse on Koniah’s line to show how leadership sin and broken covenant bring lasting consequences. Drawing parallels to today, he cautions against centralized control of food, globalist consolidation, family breakdown and the love of money, and calls Christian communities to resist injustice and steward resources wisely. He emphasizes that knowing God is proven by obedience and transformed lives rather than mere profession, and closes with a prayer for faithfulness and mutual love.
