Father, thank you so much for the sweet time of worship and that we get to be men and women of the word, Lord. That we are those that heed your exhortation to study to show ourselves approved under God, workmen and workwomen that need not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. Lord, we wanna be able to give an answer to anybody that might ask us of the hope that lies within us with meekness and with fear, Lord. And we thank you that you've promised us that the holy spirit will bring to remembrance the scripture, the holy word of God as we hide your word away in our heart, Lord, that you'll bring it to remembrance that we might be able to help people that are looking for answers, Lord, as we point them to Jesus. The volume of the book being written of him. So be our teacher tonight. Give us hearts to apply these truths. Give us ears to hear, and reveal your love unto us. Reveal yourself to a greater measure than ever, Lord. In Jesus' name, amen. Alright. Now, if have any of you ever attended a church that does not teach prophecy? Yeah. And what is a church like that like? What's it like? Shallow. Shallow? Yeah. Not boring. Boring? Dead? Hypocritical? Wrong. So 27% of the bible is prophecy. Jen And McCall in her site today has an article from LifeWay polls that indicates that only 2% of churches today are teaching bible prophecy. Only 2%. So what that means is you don't teach the book of Revelation, you don't teach the blessed hope, you don't teach, you know, 27% of the bible. So here we are at the end of the age, and you pick and choose where you're going to teach for people, and you avoid anything that pertains to something that might unsettle them, you know, because somehow they've been taught that prophecy is doom and gloom. That somehow it's gonna make people head for the doors, you know, where the exact opposite is true. I've noticed that as we're approaching the soon return of the Lord, you know, the sense of as you're watching the criminalization of America and the communism and the takeover of America and America coming down that you got a couple different types of people. One group of people are radically melting down, radically getting angry, and their eyes are open. They see this country being stolen from them. And they saw the election being stolen, and they see everything, the criminal cabal, the Bidens, the Obamas, the all of them, you know, just in your face, the Maui massacre, the whole thing in your face, and there's nothing new the populace can do about it. And Soros' son, I read today, is saying that we cannot allow the populace, the people in America to rally around a candidate like Trump and take this country back. Can't let it happen because we're moving toward globalism. So as a Christian, you've got an allegiance to your citizenship being in heaven, and you have an allegiance to America as citizen of this country. And so you're you're in two places. You fought in the wars. You served in the military. You have a constitution. You have a responsibility specifically to do your duty. And yet, as as we're approaching the soon return of the Lord, America is not mentioned. So prophetically speaking, for globalism, a one world government, a one world monetary system, a one world religious system, America has to go down. The dollar has to go down. So some of these things for you and I, it's not doom and gloom. We're looking at and we're saying, hey, it just means the Lord's coming. And we're not gonna hold on to something the Lord say the shelf life is over. And and you have to be very careful of a candidate like Donald Trump that can neutralize you and get you so focused on regaining your equilibrium, regaining the country, and he's gonna run again, and you're gonna well, you're being played. He's also a part of the establishment. He's also a part of the I would liken him to a Judah sheep, a Trojan horse. It neutralizes people because you say what they want to hear, then you don't do anything. So it allows more time to take place before the people wake up, the patriots in America to wake up to actually do something. And so they think voting is still a way to make it happen, and yet right before your eyes, they keep stealing the elections and such. And so we're watching communism. We're watching a a communistic revolution, a takeover. And what stands in the way is freedom. What stands in the way is Christians who are awake and such. And so within the church, the church also conforms to that model, to that place. And so, turn to Acts chapter one. So the the greatest heretic of our generation that's had the most impact upon the church in America is pastor Rick Warren. He's the greatest heretic that's ever in my generation. I mean, Benny Hinn and those guys pale in comparison because this guy has gotten the majority of the churches to follow his purpose driven model. When he came forth with his purpose driven model, he brought forth a three legged stool to illustrate. He was taught by Peter Drucker. Peter Drucker was instrumental when Hiroshima and Nagasaki were wiped out. Peter Drucker was brought in by the United States government to help them re industrialize. So Rick Warren sat under Robert Schuller and Peter Drucker and others to learn his his whole thing that he was gonna do. And and so his whole purpose driven thing, taking the message bible and twisting scripture, can be illustrated in the way he's trying to do it presently in regard to women pastors. If you watch the video clips, the way he twist the scriptures to try and convince the Southern Baptist Convention stuff that that's okay. You can see him in action. Well, one of the things he did back when he jumped off his three legged stool the three legged stool, by the way, is what? What's what's the three legged stool represent? It's going to be really good now because this is like thirty years ago. Right? One is what? Government. Government. Church. The church. And business. And business. So you take those three and you put them together. So and that's what's you you take the government, you get the church to be involved, and you get business. So you get the technocrats, you get the banks, you get them all to be involved, and that's globalism. That's the one world government, one world economic system, and the one world religious system. That's his three legged stool. So when you go into Islamic city or Hindu city, any kind of city, you look for the spiritual leader. Not a Christian leader. When you're when you're ministering or speaking to Christians, you tell the Christians what they want to hear. You bring Obama up there and you say, Obama, you know, is a Christian in front of all the Christians, and they believe that. Right? So here's what he did in regard to prophecy. Notice verse six. When they therefore, the apostles, were gathered together, they asked of him Jesus saying, Lord, will thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel? And Jesus said unto them, it is not for you to know the times or the seasons which the father has put in his power. So he's not rebuking them for asking that question. He's letting them know that you're going to have to walk by faith and that you're going to have to live in such a way of the imminent return of Christ that it could happen at any moment. And as far as the timeline of when the rapture is going to take place or when Israel is going to be reborn and all the stuff that we see now, Jesus is telling the guys, you go do what I've told you to do and because they were so anxious for the Lord to set up his kingdom. They were fighting over who was gonna sit on the left hand, who was gonna sit on the right, and now he's crucified, he's raised from the dead, and they're still holding on to that. Like, you know, I wanna be a part of this messianic kingdom. But what they didn't see from the old testament scriptures, they didn't see the church age. They didn't understand or see the church age. Paul in Ephesians two talked about how it was a mystery once hid now revealed. So in the next chapter, they're gonna see Pentecost. They're gonna see the church be born at Pentecost, and it's a body, it's a it's a mystery that was once hid, now revealed. And then they're gonna move forward with the gospel in recognition that the Lord has set aside Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles be come in as Paul lays it out in Romans eleven twenty five. So Rick Warren did a great great disservice to the church in saying, it's none of your business. Prophecy is none of your business. It's not creeds, he said, meaning teaching, doctrine, it's deeds. Go out there in your community and be missional. Do good deeds. Well, that's Catholicism. That's what Catholicism is. That's what religion is. You cover your sin, you cover everything with, we're gonna go go do good things in the community. If there's any graffiti on the on the buildings around here, we're gonna go on Sunday morning. We're not even gonna do church. We're gonna go on Sunday morning. We're gonna clean the graffiti off the buildings, you know. We're gonna feed the homeless. We're gonna, you know, whatever, you know. So you get all these churches caught up in the purpose driven churches. I think close to 450,000 pastors every week would go to pastors.com, and they would get from Rick Warren, his organization, their topical studies, their social justice teaching that would move people in the direction of being good people and doing good things in the culture. So now, today, you have prophecy being fulfilled and it's not the fluffy, warm, fuzzy kind of prophecy. It's the prophecies that speak of destruction, that speak of the tribulation period, that speak of the beast system, that speak of cataclysmic events. Everybody receiving a vaccine passport, a central bank digital currency, which ties into Revelation 13, you know, Revelation thirteen sixteen through through 18. Churches don't wanna hear about that. People don't wanna hear about that. They want to live in denial. So they're trying to get away from churches that teach prophecy. So you and I are different than 98% of the churches out there. We're in the two percent. We're in the 2% that are looking for the soon return of Jesus Christ. I had a conversation with a gentleman a couple months ago, and he was trying to implore me about a pre wrath, where they take Revelation chapter six and they say that God's wrath doesn't begin till verse 17, but man's wrath is the first part of the seals that are being opened and all. So you gotta get ready for the tribulation period. You gotta get ready for it because the church is gonna go through the tribulation period. You're not gonna be raptured before the tribulation period. Well, what kind of joy do you think there'd be in a church that teaches that? Zero. Zero joy. Zero looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and savior. Zero. And that's what's happening in these churches because the people aren't equipped to be excited about the eminency, the the soon return of Jesus. So Jeremiah finds himself in a situation. Same situation. Jeremiah is letting the nation know Nebbe's coming. You guys have been rejecting God, the father. You've been rejecting this covenant. You've turned over to Baal. You've turned over to idolatry. You've turned over to things that been unfaithful to God. So whether it's Isaiah or Jeremiah or Ezekiel or Habakkuk or Hosea, God's sending these prophets to try and wake the nation up, and the nation doesn't wanna wake up. The nation's gonna continue being religious in Isaiah one going through the motions. God says, I'm sick and tired of your sacrifices, you know. You know, I'm tired of it. Spare the animals. They don't need to keep killing the animals. That means absolutely nothing in what you're doing being religious. And because there's no obedience there. Obedience is better than sacrifice. So Jeremiah is going to spend forty years letting them know that your nation's perishing, that you need to repent, you need to turn back to God. And he could quote him second Chronicles seven fourteen. He could teach them about Jonah and cities of Nineveh. America could look at the example of Nineveh and how they repented, and God gave them a reprieve or whatever. But if the church, 98%, are not teaching prophecy, they're unaware of prophecy, they they look at it as doom and gloom because what's that mean? What's it mean? If you see prophecy as doom and gloom, what does that mean about your biblical world view? What's that mean? It means you're in love with America. It means you're in love with the world. It means you don't want to let go of your lifestyle. It means you've enjoyed prosperity for a long time and now it's over. The salt has lost its savor and it's good for nothing but to be trodden under the foot of men. Well, if you want to keep milking the cow of the old days, now you gotta go back and historically talk about when the church was really doing well. Because you don't wanna deal with what's presently happening. And so you're gonna mask up, double mask up. You're gonna do everything the government's saying. You're gonna keep saying, when's normal coming back? You know? And you're gonna be telling the people just we we just need to give them two weeks. Just give them two weeks, you know, to get past the curve, you know? And so you fall into the whole trap of it. And it just gets worse and worse and worse and worse because you won't stand up against evil. You won't preach the truth, teach the truth. And and prophetically speaking, you continue to go down that road of therapeutic messages, feel good messages, self help messages, and do gooder type messages. Then the other side of it, if you want to really be popular today, not like Jeremiah. Jeremiah is not going be popular. Do you know how Jeremiah could be really popular? By telling them how to make Israel great again. All they got to do all Jeremiah has to do is, God send in a new leader, and this new leader is gonna give us our country back. And, you know, nine eleven never really happened, you know. Maui massacre never really happened. All that bad stuff, it never really happened. It wasn't the government that did any of that, you know. And and if it and if it was the government, it was just those bad Democrats. Those Democrats are really bad, and we need to get some Republicans in there. That's how a pastor can be popular today. That's how he can get a huge church is providing hope that we're gonna get to keep America the way it's been for our generation. You know, we're gonna get it back. But if you if you let him know that Trump's an impostor, that Trump's a Judah sheep, that he's part of the whole Rosh Chalk ball and the globalist, and you're being neutralized. It's the controlled opposition. Then that doesn't sell. People's hearts sink. You mean, I'm gonna lose my house? You mean Klaus Schwab is right? I'm gonna own nothing and still be happy? You mean they're gonna build a smart city in Maui? They're really gonna get away with that? You know? They're really gonna take and cut down all the trees and bury them? They're really gonna pollute our food and put the vaccine in the food and really? Is that stuff really true? A lady in the church pulled me aside on Sunday yesterday, beautiful, wonderful Christian lady, and she told me that she's tried to speak to her husband concerning what's happened in Maui, trying to let him know that directed energy weapons, and just burned the place up and all, and all kinds of evidence and everything. And he said, if you continue to talk about that, we're gonna have to separate. That's how people are in the church. If you continue to talk about this, we're going to separate. It's too much for me to absorb. I haven't been prepared for this. It's too over the top. I've got children to raise. I've got retirement. I've got plans. I've got dreams. Don't talk about it's over. Well, that's what Jeremiah was doing. Jeremiah was trying to get the people ready because see if they surrendered to God, if they surrendered to Nebbe, it would go easier on them. If they are going to fight against God and fight against Nebbe, then it's going be really hard on them. Forty years, Jeremiah has got to run with this message. Forty years, he's got to run with a message that nobody likes. Not one single person likes this message. He's all alone and yet he's not alone. Alright? So, now Pasher, the son of Imr, the priest. So you've got a priest here. In the first Chronicles twenty four fourteen, he's part of the fifteenth order, the son of Imr. And which means they have a course. They serve in the temple by course. And so we can take this name and we can trace it in this genealogy, the son of Imr at first Chronicles 24 verse 14 of the fifteenth order. Who was also chief governor in the house of the Lord. He heard that Jeremiah prophesied these things. So back in chapter 19, Jeremiah is prophesying that judgment is coming. He's prophesying that you guys have turned and become stiff necked, that Topheth, remember we talked about Gehenna, we talked about the burning, we talked about hell, and you guys are going to suffer in this garbage heat of hell. Hell is coming. The valley of slaughter, you're you're slaughtering children, the whole thing. So he's rebuking the generation. He's letting them know that your pedophilia, your adrenaline chrome, your child trafficking is coming to an end. Your child sacrifice of babies coming to an end. God has had enough and he's going to judge you. And Christians don't want to hear about that. They don't want that brought into the church. That's politics. Don't talk about that. That's that's that's for we're more civil than that. And we're gonna get our champion. Our champion's gonna stop it. Yeah. Right. How's that working for you? You know, anyway, this guy, Pasher, his name means prosperity. His name means freedom. A false prophet. So when we talk about 2% of the churches teaching prophecy, we're talking about teaching biblical prophecy. There's a lot of churches teaching YouTube prophets. I had a dream. I had a vision. I felt this. I had pizza and God gave me this vision. Can't substantiate it. It's inconsistent with scripture. It's feelings. It's I think so. It doesn't happen. But it sure sells a whole lot of people. That's another group that a whole lot of people run that way. And you can have fairy dust coming from the ceiling. You can have the music going and smoke machines and worship for an hour and a little little message. Boy, all these churches will spend forty minutes asking for money. So it's it's always a sales. And but if you tell the people what they want to hear, everything's gonna be okay, you know? It's gonna be okay. The people keep coming back for it. And so I try to insult you guys. I try to pin your ears against the wall and see if I can get you to leave. And I try to use words and and statements and scripture that'll just put the fear of God in you. And as I said Sunday, Oswald Chamber said, if you fear God, you'll fear nothing else. Nothing else. That's the whole problem with COVID. Everybody feared they'd lose their job, feared they'd lose this, feared they might lose their life, and you got tricked. You got tricked. Today, I posted also the Daigle report on Calvary Chapel site, I found on Steve Quail or I think I found it on Rapture Ready at the bottom. And so the guy did his research and he traced the Daigle report. The Daigle Junior guy just died in 2021. And he connected the dots that this originate this report that by 2025, America and Western the Western nations, that their population our population will go from 330,000,000 down to 90,000,000 people by 2025. Now check this out. It's on schedule. How is it on schedule? Because of the COVID jab. The media is not telling you. But it's right on schedule with the amount of people that are dying and the amount of super cancers that are just taking people out and you never hear about it, on schedule. Now who's involved in this? The Department of Defense? Yep. The Rockefeller Foundation? And daggle the the this daggle guys are putting it on, you know, World Health Organization, all of them are involved in this. And and this is what they plotted way back in 2015. So when Trump gets up on there and he says, hey, let's give him two weeks for the curve and we've got the warp speed jab for you. He's a bold faced liar. This has been going on since 2015, the development of this jab. And this whole means of deceiving people has been going on for quite some time. So you can't have it both ways. He's not a four degree genius and an idiot at the same time. So you can't say to him, well, he just didn't know. No, he does know. He certainly knows now because he's changed his tune because I just saw where he's telling everybody to tell him you're not going to wear the mask this time. Well, if you're not going to wear the mask this time, then go back to when you promoted the warp speed jab and tell people you were wrong. You know? But he's not going to do that. So he's trying to get the people together to get that populous movement going and watch it, you know, watch it the wind come out of its sails, betraying the people once again. So you've got this pasture guy. Now he's he's the guy that's telling him peace, peace, where there is no peace. Hey, everything's great, prosperity. Jeremiah is blowing it. Everything's gonna continue as always has. You know, we get the right guy in there, the right stuff in there, and everything's gonna be okay. So this guy's not only a priest, but he's also a governor. He's a has authority in the house of the Lord. He heard that Jeremiah the prophet prophesied these things. And so he'd he'd heard about it. He looked on Jeremiah's Facebook page and saw what he was doing in YouTube. Hey, this guy's really spouting off. We've got to silence this guy. This is not the message we want people to be hearing. And so it says, then Pasher smote Jeremiah, the prophet, and put him in the stocks that were in the high gate of Benjamin, which was by the house of the Lord. So according to Deuteronomy 20 five:two and three, if somebody did something evil, this particular position that he enjoyed as a governor, as a leader, as a priest, and a governor of the temple area, he could take Jeremiah and put him in the stocks. Now the stocks, you see it in a lot of old English type movies where they torture people. You've got to put your arms in the wood, and they put you in a very uncomfortable position so that you cramp. Your legs, your arms, your neck, your back would cramp. Nowhere near as painful as crucifixion, but in any event, a means of torture. And then, according to Deuteronomy chapter 25 verse two and three, they could give you 40 stripes. 40 stripes with a with a whip. And Paul received this five times. And Paul described it as 40 stripes less one. Why? Because the guys were afraid they might miscount. You're not allowed to go to 41. So they would stop at 39 just in case somebody can't count, you know. So very, very painful, and Jeremiah is subjected to this. And if you're like me, I expect this kind of behavior if I'm in rebellion to God. I expect to get my rear end whooped if I'm dealing drugs, cheating on my wife, lying, stealing, you know, all the bad things out there. Now, typically in our culture, those kind of people are rewarded. They're rewarded, right? They never get in trouble. They never prosecute. They're no criminals, you know. They they you can't prosecute them. But as a Christian, I think in terms of there's a hedge around me. God's gonna protect me. I'm doing what he's called me to do. When he called me and he told me, hey, I'm gonna make you a prophet, Jeremiah. Before I formed you in your mother's womb, I knew you and ordained you a prophet unto God. Jeremiah was like, no, no, no, no. I don't want to do that. Go get someone else. Go get someone else. No. You're going to go do what I tell you to do. Alright. I'm doing what you told me to do. I haven't given in to the false prophets. The false message is the easy way. I continue to to tell them what you give me to tell them. And this is the thanks I get from you. I thought you were the all powerful, almighty God. Where's that hedge of protection? Why aren't you protecting your profit? So Jeremiah is just radically disillusioned. He's just he's like, how do how do these evil people get away with this? You know? Have you ever felt like that? Have you ever felt gross injustice perpetrated against you where people slander and and take what you're saying and twist it and all? And we gotta be really careful today because the globalists, the governments have the power to paint a picture on your website or email or everything to to make it they can actually have pictures of you doing something wrong and it's not you. Or it's a picture of you, but they can make a movie of it. They can make anyway, they can come up with evidence against you that you can't prove your innocence. You know? And so it's a scary time that we're living in because what I've discovered is these wimpy Christians in Kitsap County, you know, they'll attack someone like coach Joe Kennedy who's standing for righteousness, and they'll attack him and denigrate him and slander him and tear him down simply because they're jealous. Yeah. Because he won. Because he got a million dollars and they can't stand it that he's prospering, you know. And so they're gonna denigrate and slander him and all. And none of them are gonna come and support him and encourage him and his family and all, why wouldn't the guy move to Florida? Who would wanna stay here? You know? The Lord just gave you money to leave. You know? The only people that stay here are people that can't get out. You know? Alright. So Who would that be? Yeah. You're trapped, buddy. Alright. So they smote Jeremiah the prophet and put him in the stocks that were in the high Gate Of Benjamin, which was the house of the Lord. And immediately, Jeremiah did like Job. Naked came I into the world. Naked, I'm gonna go. The Lord giveth the Lord. Take it away. Blessed be the name of the Lord. Not. That isn't his reaction. That's not his reaction. And it came to pass on the next day that Pasher, from liberty to terror. Pasher's name means freedom. His name means prosperity. And so he says, and it came to pass on the next day that Pasher brought forth Jeremiah out of the stocks, then said Jeremiah unto him, the Lord has not called your name Pasher, but he's called you Megor Masabib. Say that backwards. Which means terror. You're a man of terror. You're a terrorist. We don't negotiate with terrorists. And it's prophetic. It's a prophetic word of the way this guy is going to operate. Terror that's going to come against the nation. For thus saith the Lord, behold, I will make thee a terror to yourself. Now watch this. Jeremiah is going to say, you, your friends, everybody you know is gonna go into captivity and you're gonna die in Babylon. All of your dreaming, all of your kingdom age stuff that we're gonna bring in the kingdom here in America, we're gonna take control of the political process, know. All that all that smoke and mirrors that you've got guys have been projecting to yourself and all your friends and they shall fall by the sword of their enemies. And then I shall behold it and I will give all Judah into the hand of the king of Babylon. And he shall carry them captive into Babylon and shall slay them with the sword. Guys are going to be deported. Now, how popular a message would that be for me to say the Chinese and the Russians are coming? The Chinese and the Russians are already here. 10,000 people a day are crossing our border into this country. Many many of them military age. They're pooling in Mexico at a place called San Vicente and they're being helped by our own government, Mayorkas and all, and they're being prepared to invade America once, I believe, the dollar crashes because we're going to freak out. When your pensions are taken and your dollar has no buying power, Americans who have been holding on to their prosperity, that's why we don't act, they're going to freak. They're going to really freak out. Famine, pestilence, all of those sorts of things coming. And to subdue all those weapons you have, all the guns you have and all that stuff, your government knows that. The IRS is getting automatic weapons. They're all getting weapons. Why? Because they know you're coming for them. Americans are gonna come for them. Americans are boasting they're coming for them. Well, they're not gonna fight you. They're gonna send the Chinese and the Russians and foreign people in here to subjugate you and to colonize America. Taking all the houses away and all of it. It's happening right now. It's communist takeover. It's a communist revolution. It's happening right now as we speak. Your own government is treason treasonously, and they're not hiding it. They're using weather, weather ability, they're using lasers. I mean, do you know how many fires there are out there? They're they're setting the forests on fire. People say, well, I'm gonna go to Montana. I'm gonna hide in the trees, you know, and I'm gonna live off the land. No, you're not. They're gonna burn you out. They're burn the forests all over Canada, everywhere to burn them out. And we're going to starve you out. So I kept thinking, how are all these food processing plants catching fire? How are all these trains being derailed? Well, trains are filled with nitrogen. The nitrogen is the main component for fertilizer. So India and The Netherlands and other countries, they can't grow food if they don't have fertilizer. So the food that you're getting presently is food that's already been grown. The food for the future can't be grown because you don't have the nitrogen fertilizers to build, you know, to farm that. And so there's your trains and all that. And then your production companies, Smith Smithfield was purchased by the Chinese, the largest pork manufacturing plant in America's purchased by the Chinese years ago. And so you're selling your farmland to the Chinese. You're allowing Bill Gates to buy all your farmland. And I love what I saw today that Oprah and The Rock and these guys are caught by people on social media. They're huge lie where they're asking for money for the Maui Fund. And these people are just blasting them. Blasting them like, you guys are the ones that cause this. You're the ones buying all of it. I love that. But you're not very popular talking like this. People still have hope that we're gonna turn this around in the twenty twenty four election. Well, what if there is no election? Does anybody wanna hear that? There there isn't gonna be an election. We're not gonna make it to the election. And if you do, your vote isn't gonna be counted in a way that's going to produce a candidate that's going to save you. So that is not a popular message. So if I wanted to be popular, I would say, you know, Mike Pence is gonna save us, and Pompeo helped us with nine eleven. And, boy, we did a good job. And and, know, we've got some we've got some Republicans in there that are really getting mad. They're getting ticked off, man. They're really getting ticked off. Yeah. Right. How many how much longer do you gotta listen to that stuff? What if Gavin Newsom's elected? What are you gonna do then? You know? If there is an election. So it's put a fork in it. You know? The church is dead. It's dead. It doesn't have the ability to resist the evil because we're too soft. That's the problem. We're too soft. So we fall by the sword of their enemies, and all thine eyes shall behold it, and I will give all Judah into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall carry them captive into Babylon, and shall slay them with the sword. Now, if I'm Jeremiah, and I'm a faithful remnant, if I knew the doctrine of the rapture, that the rapture was gonna happen before May when Nebuchadnezzar was gonna come and do all this, wouldn't I be excited? Wouldn't I be excited that before the collapse and the beast system were to start, that God is going to rapture his bride out of this. Right? That would be a great doctrine. The problem is, they don't have that kind of doctrine. They don't have that kind of hope of the resurrection I mean, the rapture at that time. That's a doctrine that's taught in the old testament, where you have Enoch as an illustration of the rapture. You have the nation of Israel, an illustration of of excuse me. You have Noah and the ark as an illustration of Israel going through the tribulation period, but you have Enoch walked with God and was not. Right? And and so you you have Daniel and Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego as an illustration of the tribulation period going through the fiery furnace. And Daniel's not mentioned. Daniel illustrated of of of the rapture having already been taken out. So you have a mystery is a secret once hidden now revealed. We have this rapture doctrine identified in the New Testament, very clear, and yet people think it's a bad doctrine. They they don't wanna hear it. They think it's, you know, it's crazy, you date setters and stuff. You need to get ready for the tribulation period. We don't have much time. We gotta get ready for the the trib because the church is going through the trib and all. So I'm I'm very, very excited about the rapture, and the soon return of Christ, because prophecies are being fulfilled left and right, all over the place. And I've given up on on this world. And not the sense that I'm passive. I'm occupying till it's come. I'm about my father's business. But I've chose to do the very most important thing, which is to reach people with the hope of Jesus is coming again. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. So we're telling about his coming kingdom, that Jesus is coming again. I believe in a monarchy. I believe in a theocracy. I believe in king of kings and lord of lords that Jesus is coming. So Daniel is not winning any points with these people. Moreover, I will deliver all the strength of the city, and all of its labors, and all of its precious things, and all the treasures of the kings of Judah will I give into the hand of their enemies, who shall spoil them and take them and carry them to Babylon. So the Lord is saying, you know when Hezekiah in Isaiah 39 verse six, when Hezekiah was told that the sickness get your house in order because you're gonna die. And God sent Nathan the prophet there, Hezekiah is crying and weeping before the Lord. And the Lord gave him fifteen more years, and he had them in Asenal. One of the things he did, some ambassadors from Babylon came to the king and he's all really excited. You know what he did? He took these ambassadors from Babylon into the palace and he showed them all of his treasures. The gold, the silver, all that had amassed through Solomon, David, and all the riches that they had. Babylonians were waiting. They're just waiting for the chance to go take the spoil, you know. What do you think the spoil is of America for the globalist? The land, the tangible assets, everything we have is being negotiated, being given control thereof to the globalist and to Satan really, to the devil. And so you lose your freedom, and thou passer, mister freedom, mister prosperity, and all who dwell in thine house shall go into captivity. And thou shall come to Babylon and there thou shall die and shall be buried there. You and all your friends to whom thou has prophesied lies. So when we say only 2% of the churches teach prophecy, we have to remember there's a whole lot of false prophecy going on in a lot of the churches still. When we say the only 2% teach prophecy, we're talking biblical prophecy. So, you're in the 2% because we expositionally go through the bible from Genesis to Revelation. We don't leave anything out, and so we cover we cover prophecy as it comes to us. And so even even this past Sunday yesterday, you know, we're looking at Romans nine, ten, 11, and Paul is letting you know prophetically that chapter nine is Israel's past election, chapter 10, their present rejection, chapter 11, future restoration. Israel, Paul is saying two thousand years ago, is gonna be restored, and we have the advantage of Ezekiel thirty six and thirty seven of 05/14/1948, Israel being reborn as a nation. Wow. That's a huge prophecy. How could you say as a preterist, as many of the churches today who are play they have a replacement theology. One of the churches here, when we were teaching the book of Revelation, they, for the very first time, taught the book of Revelation real quickly, and they did it as a preterist. They did it as looking at seventy AD that all of this stuff happened back when Titus surrounded Jerusalem and destroyed it. So they taught it historical as having already been completed. They're not teaching it to the congregation as its future. You know? So they're getting ready to rebuild the temple. Well, the rebuilding of the temple means that I you know, that Daniel nine twenty seven and Matthew 24 when Jesus said, when you see the abomination of desolation spoken did they see that in seventy AD? Did they see the Antichrist, you know, go into that temple? No. They did not. It's future, and it's still future that the Antichrist the person that comes along to sign that peace treaty in Daniel nine twenty seven, is at the midpoint, twelve hundred and sixty days after signing it, is going go into the temple, declare himself to be God, demand to be worshipped as God. That's future. How could you leave that out? How how could you not let people know and arm them and get them ready for that? And then, remind them that as Christians, you're not going to be there to see that. That you're going to be caught up. You're gonna be taken by the Lord just as he promised. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go to prepare a place for you, I'm gonna come again and receive you under myself that where I am there, you may go also. So if the rapture is at the end of the tribulation period, what's the point? What? Am I gonna go to heaven and come right back? You know, at the end of the tribute at at the end of the trib, that whole teaching in John fourteen one through three, let not your heart be troubled. Do you believe in God? Believe also in me. My father's house are many mansions. What? I'm gonna go up to the mansion and come right back? Right. You know? Well, what if what if I'm gonna spend seven years there? Or at least at least seven years, and it's a picture, you know, of a of a wedding and the tribulation period seven. And what if according to Jude, I come back with him in the second coming, not the rapture, I come back with him in the second coming, at the end of the tribulation period when he when every eye is gonna see him, he's coming in the clouds and 10 thousands and thousands of saints, Enoch said in the book of Jude. And so much easier to look at it pre millennial dispensationalist than it is to try and do a preterist or a kingdom now or these these these offshoots of the Catholicism over the last couple hundred years because the doctrines and the teaching of of the rapture were hidden, by and large from the church because of the dark ages and the the dominance of the Catholic church over the Protestant church for so many years. But as many are pointing out, the early church fathers all believed in a preacher rapture. You know? So it's not a new idea that Darby and some of these people came up with at the end of the eighteenth century leading in the nineteenth, not true, totally erroneous. And so and not only that, but I've got the bible, which predates Darby and all that. The bible tells me that there's gonna be the rapture before God pours out his wrath because we're not subject under God's wrath. So it's an ecclesiological separation or deliverance from God's wrath. When we talk of wrath being poured out upon the Lord, that's salvation. And so we've already been delivered from the wrath to come in the sense of the cross. So when it talks about being delivered from the wrath to come to the church, we've already dealt with sin. It means the wrath that's gonna be in the tribulation period when God changes his administration, the way that he deals with men. We're presently in a dispensation of grace in the church age, in the dispensation of the rapture of the tribulation period. It's a time where God pours out his wrath from Revelation six on to 19. I don't understand why people don't wanna connect the dots. There's so much there. And so the prosperity party that these guys preach, they prophesy lies and today the same sort of thing. They're prophesying the lies of the prosperity is gonna continue. We're gonna usher in the kingdom age. We're gonna take the planet over. They misconstrue the word grace. Grace is licentiousness. We can do whatever we want. And then they come up with a different word different definition of what the word love means. All of a sudden, means acceptance of homosexuality and pedophilia. Love wins. You can't judge right or wrong anymore because you're a hater, a bigot, a homophobe if you do. So now the church takes and misconstrues the word love, and they teach people that love is tolerance of evil. So how's that working for you? Verse seven, oh Lord, thou has deceived me. So Jeremiah, after this whooping, he's got some words for God. Oh Lord, thou has deceived me and I was deceived. Thou art stronger than I and has prevailed. I am in derision daily. Everyone mocks me. You ever felt like that? So what's he mean by you've deceived me? What's he mean by you've prevailed, you're stronger, you've prevailed over me? He just thought he was gonna have some some protection. Protection? Yep. I agree. Thought he was God's man. Yeah. I'm doing what you told me to do, man. You're you're gonna be protecting me. Right? Yeah. Frequency. There's a wake of destruction in my word. Yeah. And in Genesis 51, the Lord told Abraham, you know, I'm your shield. Yeah. I'm your exceedingly great reward, you know. Well, yeah, I'm a strong tower. Romans eight thirty one. Since God not if, but since God's for me, who can be against me? Paul says. Right? Right. Then he goes into a whole list of adverse circumstances. Height, or depth, or principality, or power, you know. He's going through all these different scenarios that if it does come against me, it still can't separate me from God's love. May whoop on me, may even kill me, but to be asked when the bodies be present with the Lord. Right? So, threaten to kill me, don't worry. Jesus said, don't fear those who can kill the body, but fear him who can not only kill your body, cast your soul into hell. Matthew 10. So, we see there, you've deceived me. So he misconstrued as I did at a certain point in my walk with the Lord. I felt deceived when everything went sideways for me. I felt like, uh-oh, what did I miss? I wasn't taught this when I was at Calvary Costa Mesa. I wasn't taught that, you know, that this sort of a demonic storm could so come and just wipe a person out. Not in my generation. I'm living in a generation of prosperity. Everybody's prospering. I was told if you teach the bible, the church will grow. That's what I was told. I was told people are famished. They're needing the word of God and they used to have a phrase when I go to the pastor's conference, if you teach it, they will come. I don't know where they got that from, right? Field of dreams. And we taught it here in Bremerton. We taught it. We continue to teach it. The message hasn't changed. We don't back down. But people hated me, hated me, hated me, continued to hate me. Very, very small group of people want to hear what the bible has to say. So I felt deceived, but I knew it was incongruous. I knew it wasn't God that was deceiving me. It was that I believed the false gospel. I believed that the Bless Me Club would reach me. I believed that if I live the right way that I would be entitled and entitlement, that I would be blessed the way that I see all the other pastors being blessed. I never saw a pastor lose his church building. Never. Never saw him lose his house. Never saw him lose everything. And go all in. Go all in with everything he had and then lose it all. I never saw any anybody. There's nobody I met that that happened to. So it must mean Kathy and I are evil. We're evil. That's what everybody said. You're evil. So how do you deal with that? How do you deal with that total abandonment? You know, it's like, it's mind boggling. So I had to spend time, Kathy and I had to spend time coming back to Square 1 and trying to understand what is it we missed, what didn't we understand, what went wrong. And I still can't reconcile it except to say that how was Jesus treated? You see, my frame of reference was people in a time of prosperity. And whether I like it or not, Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa taught a prosperity gospel. Just like all Joel not as severe as Joel Olsteen and them, but still underneath the radar was always God wants to bless you. And if you live a godly life and you do what you're supposed to do, you're gonna be blessed. And if there was anybody in the group that wasn't being blessed and went through RAD trials, must be a leper, must be somebody that's doing something wrong. There must be something hidden there. And then as I began to investigate, I began to discover that many of these pastors have cheated on their wives, have done enormous bad things that have been covered over and nobody knows about, and they're still being blessed. Now that would make sense to me if Kathy cheated on me and I cheated on her, and we did a bunch of bad stuff and then got caught, and then the whole ministry fell apart. That makes sense. But there's a sense of I was deceived because the gospel in my generation is a prosperity gospel. But if I look at Iran or China, this is how Christians are treated. If I look out through church history, anybody that stood tall and taught the word in place or at a time where people were ungodly. And, you know, I could be in the pocket. I could be in Orange County in the pocket and be insulated and protected by all the Christians that are there. But you come to Kitsap County, holy smokes. You call this Christianity? Really? And so there's a famine for the word of God. And we were disillusioned. We were rocked. But we were prepared for the time we're living in now. As I was talking to Brandon earlier, I know the devil's playbook now. I know how he works. I know I know what they're doing. That's why we can see things that are happening. It was so mind blowing to me that my own government my own government, I lived in this Pollyanna that if I did what's right, I had the constitution to protect me and my own government couldn't hurt me. So back in 2008, 2009, when the state came in and shut down our day care, that was inconceivable. There was no way they could get away with that unless I did something wrong. But they made up lies and they shut it and nobody came to rescue. Well now, what? That's happening every day now. But back then, it wasn't like a trendy thing. So it prepared us presently to have some discernment and to see through more of the lies than we used to. Now a lot of ways, I didn't want to go fight those fights because if I start to fight some of those things over there, it might rattle the people, and we might jeopardize, you know, our prosperity, you know, blessings or whatever. And so but once you once you hit something like this, now I went back and I began to research nine eleven, and I began to go on doctor Stanley Monte's site where he starts his show by saying, the truth is often stranger than fiction. So I had a whole new awakening of understanding the Rockefellers and understanding our government and understanding the foundation thereof and the church and how the church took a five zero one c three tax exempt status in the fifties, and they kept the church in this place of prosperity because they didn't expose the government. They weren't allowed to talk about anything the government did bad. And then the state allowed the churches to get prosperous, and that was the game. That was what you're supposed to do. But we reached the place where where nine eleven happened, and the churches bought it. They bought into it hook, line, and sinker. And pretty soon, our kids our young people are going to Iraq and and Afghanistan. And for what? Weapons of mass destruction, terrorists and such, and they learn that it's a lie. They learn that it's not true. We lose the moral high ground. We can hardly get anybody to sign up to serve in the military today, any of the good people, because we're so incredibly disgusted with what's happened. And so, that was my awakening, and I felt deceived, but I and I, you know, I shook my fist at God. One of the verses that helped me with this was Paul, in speaking to Timothy, said, they error because they think that godliness is a means of gain. And his emphasis there is, know, don't be covetous. Don't don't fall into the path of covetousness. Be content with what things the Lord has given you. And so we live in a time of covetousness where we change the word and we call it blessings, God's blessings, you know. And the book of Jabez comes along and we're praying. We already got so much, we can't even contain it all. Now we're praying, Lord, broaden my coast. That's a book that sells. People want more. They want more. They want more. And so you're caught up all in it. The pastor's wives are teaching it. All the ladies' mysteries. The prayer of Jabez, you know, he prayed, Lord, broaden my coast. Broaden my coast. You know? And and it just there's no end to it. And it keeps you soft though. It keeps you soft because you don't wanna lose it. So so we did we weren't engaged in the culture. We sent our kids to public school, and we watched prayer and the bible being taken out of the school after Linda Baines Johnson gave that five zero one c three in the fifties. You don't need a tax exempt status at church. How did you survive all the way to the fifties without one? You know? How did you how did you go from the inception of this country to the fifties and be able to speak from the pulpit truth, all truth. And then the other greatest weapon was the television with the media being controlled by the Rockefellers and such because they're able to groom, they're able to lie. The most powerful tool presently is control of the media by these globalists. It's so difficult as a pastor to reach people with the truth. And you get a small little group that endures the shock of it and then as they move forward, they start as the light bulb goes on, as they look at alternative new sites, and the same thing that happened to me. So we're not promised prosperity. Nowhere when we present the gospel should we tell people that you're going to have your best life now. That's false gospel. You might get sober. I hope you do. Your marriage might be put back together. I hope it is. But you might be thrown into jail, you might be put in stocks, you might be murdered for your faith in Jesus Christ. And we have to count the cost. So he feels deceived, And then also he says, thou art stronger than I. What's he mean by that? I could not prevail. You've prevailed. What's that? Well, back in chapter one, what did Jeremiah say when the Lord told him I've called you? Find somebody else. I didn't sign up for this. Remember I told you I didn't sign up for this. Now you're beating on me. You're stronger than me. You've prevailed. You forced me into this. Right? Yep. I didn't ask for this. Kathy says, if I know that you were gonna be a pastor, I'd never married you. You know? I didn't sign up for this. But it gets better because the Lord the Lord causes you to be of one accord. And we're gonna see that Jeremiah, he tries to refrain, when he tries to get out of it, he realizes, you know, God's word is like a fire in my bones. And I know I'm in God's will, and this is where I want to be. So life can be very difficult. It can be torturous as a result of following the Lord, but it's even more torturous if you try to quit. That's what he's going to find out. He's going to find out that the suffering in God's will that he's ordained for us to suffer in, that it's a picture of Jesus suffering upon the cross. And it's also a means of fellowship with Jesus in that Paul said that I might know him, the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, plural, being made conformable unto his death. So as Jeremiah is going through this, the Lord's gonna draw ever closer to him. And Jeremiah, like Shadrach, Meshach, Abednego are gonna realize, hey, Jesus is with me in this suffering, and this is pretty cool. The things that he's teaching me, the things he's showing me, the way that he's changing my heart, that selfishness that's dying, that's coming to the cross, you know, this this is amazing. So I'm in derision daily. Everyone mocks me. So you might go through a time where you're drooling, and you're bopping into the walls, and you can't make sense of things and it looks like you're not going to make it. Cathy and I have been through that. Not only did the stuff here happen, but my father-in-law died. Right when I needed them the most. The person that the two people that would help us the most, my mother and father-in-law died within that year. And then my best friend died and my sister died. And it was overwhelming to watch then our family members turn against us and friends turn against us. The closest people to us are turning against us. And what's that do? It isolates you unto God. The only one you can turn to is him. Right? And so, the disillusionment, just like, what's going on? For since I spoke, I cried out. I cried violence and spoil because the word of the Lord was made a reproach unto me and a derision daily. And so, what do we do when we don't understand what's happening? When our ability intellectually reaches its its end, what do we do? Cry out to God. Cry out to God? Fall back on what we know. There we go. And what do we know? Jesus died for me and he loves me. So we never question God's love. Right? And we we go to Proverbs three, five, and six. Right? That's like your number one verse when you're in this spot. Which is what? Trust in the Lord with all not half heart, with all your heart. Right, Kathy? So if you lean on your own understanding, Jeremiah, you're going to be shipwrecked. The devil is such a great deceiver. He's going to tell you that God doesn't love you. He's going to tell you that you didn't hear from God. He's going to tell you that you're evil. That's why this is happening. God's spanking you. And I used to the condemnation was so great that I used to think of that. And I used to say, Lord, if you mark iniquities, who can stand? If you're going to start to judge me now on my sinfulness, nobody can withstand that. Nobody can stand under the condemnation of constantly showing me my sin. Now rebellion is different. Rebellion is, you've purposed in your heart. I'm I'm just gonna go against God, it doesn't matter what he's telling me. But to allow the devil to come in and begin to character assassinate and slander you and just tear you down, it's like, I didn't sign up for this. You know? I I I can't if if you're going to mark iniquities, Psalm a 138, who can stand, Lord? You you you there's no way we that are made from the dust of the ground can do this on our own in our own righteousness. So I always went back to the prophet Clint Eastwood, a man's gotta know his limitations. You know, I I Lord, I need you. So trust in the Lord with all your heart, not half hearted. The double minded man's unstable in all of his ways. Right? I can't be double minded. I gotta trust the Lord with all my heart, lean not on my own understanding. So I have a natural faculty, natural reasoning capacity, and this is this is irreconcilable. This is incomprehensible. That's why I say to people, I can't figure it out. I don't know. In all your ways, acknowledge him, and he'll direct your path. So that's what we did. We we very simple verses. We acknowledge the Lord, and day by day, day by day, he directs our paths. We know we're in God's will. That's all I need to know today. Lord, am I in your will? Yeah. You're in my will. What do you want me to do? Be faithful. Do what I've called you to do. Go teach that bible study. Alright, Lord. What if there's only five people? Go teach a bible study. I'm there with you. And we went through a season where there's like less than 10 people for a long time. Long time. And then COVID happened, and we started getting a few more people. But even before that, we had a few more. But it's just a matter of faithfulness. So the sense of peace that you have in your heart that, hey, we weathered the storm. We're in God's will, and God's gonna get us through this. But there's that disillusionment, you can't run to any other pastors, they don't have the capacity to counsel you because they haven't gone through it. Who's Jeremiah gonna go talk to? Who's he gonna go talk to? Nobody to talk to except God. Now, you got to be careful there like we taught on Sunday. Elijah thought he was the only one left. So the Lord's always got a remnant. It's just, Jeremiah doesn't have anybody. And we meet people all the time that have suffered far greater than we have, and we've discovered that there's a tremendous love and grace and mercy. It's the self righteous ones that haven't been through these kind of things, that haven't been broken yet, that still have a formula in their head. They think that their blessings are because they're good. They're good, man. So since I spoke, I cried out. Oh, and that's the other thing I gotta back up. When I used to say to the Lord, when the devil's condemning me, and he's picking at me every which way, and I know there's no condemnation. And when I'm starting to succumb to the, I should have done this, I should have done that, I wish I could have done that better, it went that better, you know? Second guess in everything you've done. And I realized, I I realized, the majority of the pastors I know are far bigger sinners than I've been. And it's not a boast, but it's like, you know, Lord, they have the grace card. They have enormous grace on their lives. They can do anything wrong and you keep prospering them. You can't even erode their prosperity. They're they're just you know, so how righteous do I need to be so that you'll bless me? You know, you can't you can't relate with God like that. That's what Paul's telling Timothy. Godliness is not a means of gain. So you it's a fruitfulness. It's a love. It's becoming more Christ like. So for thence I spoke, I cried out. I cried violence and spoil because of the word of the Lord was made a reproach unto me. So every time I teach the word, I get beat up. I get slandered. People get mad at me every time I teach the truth. Every time I take the message that you've given me and I teach it, people leave and hit the doors. Know, they they wind up running away. They don't it doesn't it doesn't resonate with them. Now, that's the majority. That's the broad group of people. But like we talked yesterday, there's always a remnant of people. There's always a group of people that the Lord will bring who are biblical thinking people, who are ready to hear about the cross, ready to hear about suffering, ready to hear about adversity and difficulty and affliction and things. And all you gotta do is take them through the bible. It's not your words, it's the lord's words. He's the one that promised that all they that live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the lord will deliver them out of them all. Right? Those are those are promises. They're in my promise jar. Right? That we, through much tribulation, will enter into the kingdom of God. Paul went back to the church of, you know, Antioch and Lystra and them in Derby. And he and he after he was stoned and left for dead, he stood back up and he went back in there to those guys and said, hey, this isn't an anomaly. This is the normal Christian life. This is the normal Christian life, you guys. Wow. We, through much tribulation, will enter into the kingdom of God. Do you guys still want to keep going? Do you want to keep going? This is the norm. And you'll notice that many are falling away. There's a huge apostasy right now because many of the professing people came on wanting the prosperity. And now that the prosperity is starting to erode and persecution is ramping up, many people are falling away and not want to go to church anymore because they're not getting out of it with their promise. They came for the happy meals. They came for the loaves and the fishes. They didn't come for Jesus. And now they're many of them are really. Many of them are being exposed. He says, then I said, I will not make mention of him nor speak anymore in his name. Any of you ever done that? You ever been so angry at God that I'm not going to share the gospel ever again? You never done that? Have you ever wanted to quit your calling? Quit what God's called you to do? Anybody ever thought of quitting on their marriage? I didn't sign up for this. Nobody's ever thought of quitting on their marriage, and yet the divorce rate in the church is higher than you guys are the holy ones. You guys are the real holy ones. I said don't tempt us. Oh, don't tempt us. Okay. When we don't get what we want, somehow we think we can threaten God. Do you know who I am? Without me, man, they they got nothing, man. Can you hear God laughing? Can you hear him laughing? I'm gonna whip you even harder. Then I said, will not make mention of him nor speak anymore in his name, but his word was in my heart like a burning fire shut up in my bones and I was weary with forbearing and I could not refrain. He had to speak. It was in his heart. He had to go for it. It was worse. It would be worse quitting than it would be going through the trials that God's allowed in your life. Because now you don't have the Lord. Now you don't have the fellowship that you're able to draw from to get through it and all. And so he said, I quit. I quit. Out of here. Angry. So let's look at second Timothy four one through six. For those of you that are on Facebook, it's right there on that picture I took. Yep. Right? You know I'm going to go there. So anybody that was listening and watching watching watching those notes, they'll say, well, I don't want to say anything. Second Timothy four one through six. Somebody want the microphone they could read it because you're tired of listening me? So we got passer. Passer is prosperity. Passer is gonna be very, very prosperous in a time of prosperity. His message resonates with the hearts of people that want more and more and more and more. And he's gonna be a rock star and Christian celebrity in popularity where there's no persecution and nobody stopping the the gravy train, the party. Right? He can do it for a generate he could do it for forty years. While Jeremiah at the same time for forty years is teaching the complete opposite. And his church is like one person, two people. One guy is telling the truth, one guy is lying. But there's a time, and I posted last week, Daniel chapter 12, the emphasis upon time, time, time, time, time. And Gehazi, when Gehazi ran after Naaman, and Gehazi wanted some Babylonians garments, and silver and gold and all, Elisha had just healed Naaman the Syrian, second Kings five, and offered to pay Elisha. Elisha says, no, freely we receive, freely we give, we don't want any of the material stuff, go on your way and all that. And, but Gehazi, a part of the school of the prophets, he runs after him and tells him a lie, And he wants some stuff. And, Elisha the prophet says to his servant Gehazi, when Gehazi gets back, Gehazi, where'd you go? Oh, nowhere. Nowhere. Did not my heart go with you? And then he said, is this a time he can see in his heart, he can see what was in the mind of Gehazi. Is this a time to receive olive yards, vineyards, men servants, maidservants? You see, Gehazi wanted the prosperity. And Elisha is saying, that time's up. We're in a time of apostasy. We're in a time where the nation has turned its back upon God, and you need to be focused. You need to be focused on the times in which you're living and understand the brevity, the seriousness of the times you're living. You don't need to go with the cares of this life and the statefulness of riches that blind you to the times in which you're living and you bear no fruit. Right? So here in second Timothy four one through four, who's got the mic? I got it. Okay. Here we go. Right. I'm right here. I got it. At one four one through four? Yep. Second Timothy four one through six. One through six. Because she's got it in my bible. And so I solemnly urge you before God and before Jesus Christ, who will someday judge the living and the dead when he appears to set up his kingdom. Preach the word of God. Be persistent whether the time is favorable or not. Patient, correct, rebuke, encourage your people with good teaching. For a time is coming where people will no longer listen to right teaching. Hear that? Stop. A time will come when they will not listen. Does that mean Timothy is supposed to quit? Stop. Is he supposed to adapt? Is he supposed to change the message that'll resonate with more people? Go ahead, Rob. For they will follow their own desires and will look for teachers who will tell them whatever they want to hear. They will reject the truth and follow strange myths. But you should keep a clear mind in every situation. Don't be afraid of suffering for the Lord's work at bringing others to Christ. Complete the ministry God has given you. Verse six. As for me, my life has already been poured out as an offering to God. The time of my death is near. So Paul saw his life, his ministry as a drink offering. His life is poured out as an offering unto God and the time of his departure, that we're departure, breaking tent, breaking camp, time for him to go home. But he's saying here, the time's gonna come when they will not endure sound doctrine. So I know that. I know that I'm living in that time, but I'm not gonna change the message to what Rick Warren is teaching the guys how to get a big church. I'm not gonna do it. I'm not gonna give in to people who have itchy ears and want to hear what they wanna hear and impose this pressure upon me that I'm supposed to tell them what they want to hear. So my heart stirs. I I get I get like like like I get frustrated almost like, lord, they're not telling the truth. These people are deceived. They're they're being deceived by this guy. And he's given 90% truth, but 10% of it's a lie. Well, that's what heresy is. Heresy is like rat poison. It's not 100% poison. It's food with two or three, four, 5% poison in it. You're tricking them. You're getting them to to go toward that, and then it it doesn't cause them to grow spiritually. It doesn't build them up. It doesn't get them ready. And so Timothy's reaction is to be, but you endure afflictions. Timothy Timothy when Paul's gone, Timothy takes over the church at Ephesus, and Timothy rebukes the city of Ephesus for giving themselves over to Diana, to idolatry. And the occultic group of people in Ephesus come over to pastor Timothy and they beat him to death. They beat him to death. Endure afflictions, he says. Now Timothy, his name is timid. He's timid when he starts out. Paul has to tell him, God hasn't given us the spirit of fear, but of power of love and a sound mind. Paul had to exhort Timothy to become bolder, bolder, bolder. Right? And Timothy wound up being very bold. He wound up being willing to be beat to death. He wasn't going to refrain or hold back telling those people, so make full proof of your ministry. And what a badge of honor. What an incredible badge of honor when the enemy when your life's over the target. When when your life is a target of the wicked one and he wants to neutralize you or take you out. What a privilege, a blessing to be accounted worthy to be treated like those that have gone before you. And you're not with the Christian celebrities, but you're with the biblical celebrities. You're with those whom God recognizes. So now turn to Revelation chapter 10. Where are we going, Vicky? Eight through 11. There we go. So if you're a young mom and you've got two, three, four, five kids, even one kid, can you even stand listening to me? Is this what you wanna hear? Is this what you dreamt of When you were young and single and you're in a time of prosperity, Christianity, and you watched your parents and your family and everybody buy houses and work their jobs and, you know, great vacations vacations, and all that kind of stuff. And now, times have changed. Some pastors are gonna keep you asleep by telling you what you wanna hear, and you gravitate toward that because you can't deal with reality. And then, pastor Rick and some of these churches that do teach prophecy are starting to let you know, it's gonna get worse. And then you start to think, what's gonna happen to my kids? What's gonna happen to my children? You can't sleep. I suggest you, you give your kids back to Jesus. They belong to him. You're gonna have to give it all to Jesus. You're gonna let go of everything. You have to let go of it all. If you don't let go, then you're the monkey that's caught by the hunter because you're grabbing hold of the rice, and you're squawking, and he comes over and he clubs you. All you gotta do is let go. You give those kids back to the Lord because they're a gift from Him. And He loves them far more than you do. And He's going to get them home. He's going to get them home. Your job is to be the spiritual leader. So, our message is not always sweet. If I if go ahead and read. Who's ever going to read? Ten eight through 11. Revelation ten eight through 11, John the beloved is given a book and God tells him to swallow that book. I've got it again. Okay, Rob. Ten eight Through 11. Through 11. Then the voice from heaven called to me again, Go and take the unrolled scroll from the angel who was standing on the sea and on the land. So I approached him and asked him to give me the little scroll. Yes. Take it and eat it, he said. At first, it will taste like honey, but when you swallow it, it will make your stomach sour. So I took the little scroll from the hands of the angel and I ate it, and it was sweet to my mouth, but it made my stomach sour. Then he said to me, you must prophecy again about many peoples, nations, languages, and kings. Keep going? No. That's it. Okay. Starts out sweet. You can present a message to people. I love when I reach a place of scripture that's candy. I know that people are gonna love this message. It's the gospel. It's it's it's so sweet. Oh, it's, you know, I know the thoughts that I think towards you. Jeremiah twenty nine eleven, you know, thoughts of peace and not of evil bring you to expected end. I love messages like that because that's and then I gotta go do a a section where die. Die. You know? The cross. You're going have to die. And and I know, oh, this one's going to hurt today. This one this one's going to hurt. It's not people don't really want to die. They want to hear the the smooth things, the good things, the wonderful things, God's love for them. Talk on God's love, you know. Keep it at love, you know. And so, John, he's got the sweetness and he's got the bitter. The reality of much of what we're teaching, especially for Jeremiah here, is judgment. Much of what we're teaching is God's judgment that's coming upon a Christ rejecting world. That's that's huge amount of prophecy deals with Jesus being the one that rescues humanity from complete destruction. We're told in Matthew 24 that men's hearts are gonna fail them. We're in Luke 21. Men's heart failing them for fear because as they see the things that are coming upon the earth, the cataclysmic events of the tribulation period. So as we describe these things to people, what's coming, we're trying to get you ready to let go and to know that the coming of the Lord for you, the bride of Christ is soon, which is called the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and savior. So it may be bitter in the sense like, well, you know, think I might lose my pension. I think I might lose my house. I don't know if we're gonna have enough food. I don't know if we're gonna be able to take that vacation. There's a bitterness to it. There's like this evil. If the Lord doesn't come and rapture me quick, communism might make my life uncomfortable. That's not the tribulation period. That's just part of part of tribulation. That's part of evil. That's part of the breakdown of our society. And I can't act like I've got a solution for you. Invest in bitcoin and you're not going to lose a thing. That's not me. I don't I'm brainless in that way. I don't know what to do. I ask you guys, what are you guys gonna do? What are you gonna do? We don't know what to do, but the Lord does. So you're gonna get a lot of financial advisers and people trying to steer you and get you so you don't lose anything, so Klaus Schwab's a liar and all. And my job is just point you to Jesus. You know? Be a good steward of what he's given you. But I can't I can't candy coat it and take away the bitter part of the calling that God's given us to take our cross up daily. What's the cross signify? Death. The cross signifies death. If any man come after me, let him indulge himself. No. It says deny himself. When have you heard a message like that? And Jesus is saying, Luke nine, if any man come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross. Not one time back when he got saved, but he says daily. Paul says, I'm crucified with Christ. I'm already crucified with Christ. Rick's already dead, Paul's dead. But if you're still alive, if you're still wanting the things of the world, we take you to first John about the love of the world. So he had to speak. He couldn't refrain. And Paul says in first Corinthians nine sixteen, woe is me if I don't preach the gospel. His heart's burning. The two on the road to Emmaus, they're dejected. They're bummed out. They're just wiped out because Jesus was just crucified. And Jesus appears to him on the road to Emmaus, and they're saying to Jesus, have you not heard? He's in a different form. They didn't recognize him. Haven't you heard what's happened? He goes through the scripture, which we all wish we were there, and he shows them all the scriptures pertaining to himself. And it says, did not our hearts burn within us? As you're going through the scriptures, as the Lord's I mean, in John six, it says, and his disciples no longer walked with him after the happy meals, after he gave them the cost of following him that they'd have to eat his flesh and drink his blood. All the Happy Meal people that thought they're gonna quit work and get free food, you know, universal basic income and live in smart cities and just get to do whatever they want, watch TV all day. G say, no. No. That's that's not what I got for you. You're gonna have to seek me for me, not the Bennies, not the fringe benefits. The bennies are out of this world. When you get to heaven, you're gonna be blessed in that way. But you're gonna have to approach me for me. And it says, of his disciples disciples means a learner. These are people not, you know, just like casual. And many of his disciples no longer walked with him. And then what did he say to his disciples, Vicky? Are you guys gonna leave me too? Rob says, are you guys gonna leave me also? Yeah. And then what did Peter say? Are you going to go? Once you've tasted and seen that Jesus is good and you say, I'm out of here. I'm not reading my bible anymore. I'm not going to pray. I'm not going to go to church anymore. I'm done. If you're a true Christian, you're going be miserable. You're going be absolutely miserable because there's nothing else that satisfies. There's nothing else like spending time with the Lord for the true believer of God. They went out from us. Why? They weren't of us. Right? Had they been with us, they continue with us. So backsliding, we understand. A person may go away for a time. They're going to come back and say, man, I was so miserable. I was so bummed out. You know? If you're not bummed out, then you're not being chastened of the Lord. And if you're not being chastened of the Lord in Hebrews 12, then you're none of his. Jeremiah is feeling the inward unction of the Holy Spirit of get back to work, do what I've called you to do. I want to speak through you. And Kathy and I have discovered that that right there is what got us through the darkest times in our marriage and Christian experience. Was get back to work Elijah. Quit sitting here worried about Jezebel. Get back to work. And so for us, it wasn't going to get new jobs and trying to resurrect ourselves financially and start all over. Our calling was to stay where God's planted us and continue to teach the word. Study God's word, teach God's word, be faithful to what God's called you to do, and there's such a joy and a blessing, such an enormous joy and blessing in simply doing what God's called you to do. And that might be working at Bangor Keyport, the shipyard, being a father, a mother, grandma, aunt, uncle, whatever, but when you're in that place of where you know that's what God's called you to do, that's that place of peace. There's such a peace in your heart. And so, woe is me if I don't. For I heard for I heard the defaming of many, fear on every side. Reports say they, and we will report it. All my friends watch for my fall saying perhaps he will be enticed and we shall prevail against him and we shall take out our revenge on him. What are they saying there? Vicky just read an article by Whitney Webb and Whitney Webb has delved real far into the Epstein, the Trumps, the globalists, the Rockefellers, the Rothschilds. And in order for someone to be in the upper echelon of government, they have to go through a period of testing, of trial, of of of so their handlers can control them. And how is it they're prepared to be the Biden? They got something on them. They have something on them. So it's called a honey trap. It's film. You bring them to a hotel. So let's say you're a lower level FBI agent, CIA agent, military, and you're a man of integrity, a woman of integrity, and you believe in the system, you believe in your government, you believe in it all, and you want to advance. You're doing your job really well, and some people come to you and they say, hey, you know, we're going to give you a promotion, an opportunity to be promoted and or you ask for it, you apply for it. All of a sudden, you're going to Maui and you're in a hotel And as you're in that hotel, there's direct energy weapons that are being unleashed against the ground there, and you're FEMA. You're the people in the government. You're the people that are supposed to avert that and stop that and protect people. And you're the ones that are supposed to sound the sirens and help people. So you're there in the hotel, and now they start parading 15 different buses that go through and pick up all the children in Maui. Nobody is able to locate those buses. What happened to those 2,400 children that were taken? Well, many of those children are taken to your hotel room and there's cameras in that hotel room. And as you begin to engage in your pedophilia with these children, you're filmed and now you get advancement. Now you get to be promoted. You get to rise above everybody else because your handlers have something on you and which will be played out. If you're Ross Perot and you're a man of integrity and you're running in office as a billionaire against George Bush and you're starting to make a lot of headway as with the populace with people saying, hey. This is a good guy. You get a phone call that you better drop out of the race or we're gonna kill your daughter. Nobody's elected. They're appointed. They're always appointed. So for us as Christians, what our enemies are trying to do is they're trying to disqualify us. They're trying to set a honey trap. And for pastors, in overwhelming occasions, it's the secretary, the director of Sunday school, somebody within the whole system of these churches that the pastor winds up sleeping with, committing adultery, doing things wrong, and that's what Jeremiah's enemies are saying. Maybe we can entice him. We can't get any dirt on Daniel because Daniel's a man of integrity. We're gonna have to change the rules. We're gonna have to change the laws. We're gonna have to make it illegal to pray. We're gonna have to tell people they can't meet. They have to double mass. They they have to take the jab. They can't sing. They all that. And the guys that resist that, the gals that resist that, they're a threat to our kingdom. We're gonna have to raise the ante. Can we can we do something, find something on it? Can we research them? Is there anything we can do? And so the devil will come after your marriage, the devil will come after your integrity, the devil will try and entice you, put a honey trap there. People will come up to you. I have guys come up to me and say stuff like, hey, pastor Rick, let's buy that building across the street. And I said, what do mean? Like the church? No. Us. Let's buy it. And we'll get this crew, all the guys that are working on our buildings, we'll get them to help us build that one up and we'll make some money off it. I'm like, I can't do that. What if I decided I wanted to do that? What if I decided, hey, it's okay for me to make merchandise of everybody, manipulate people. That would have been the test of finances. So pastors, typically, honey trap is three g's. Three g's that take a pastor used to take a pastor down. Doesn't take them down anymore. Because the world standard is so low, the pastoral standard's gone even lower. So it used to be like the Southern Baptist Convention right now, Southern Baptist Group, they have a like a two or three year waiting list to restore fallen pastors. So many pastors are falling, being disqualified. So but the three g's that used to take a pastor out, number one is gold. They steal the money. Number two is girls. Nowadays, it might be boys too. I don't know. She knows it's true. And because these guys are and the other third one is glory. You take God's glory under yourself. And those used to be three things that were the honey traps, the means of taking them down. And that's the strategy. The devil, he strategizes. He's he's studying. And the devil can wait fifty years to take a guy down. The guy can be David and he can be a giant killer when he's young. And he can be like small in his own sight when he's young. Doesn't think that he's all that great. And then he goes through ten years of running from king Saul like a partridge. And then he defeats the Philistines and his enemies are subdued. Now he's 50. He's had twenty five years, thirty years of just glory. A bunch of wives, he's living in a palace, everything's going great, and he drops his guard. He's not on guard. Doesn't do his devotions anymore, doesn't pray anymore, not in the word anymore, just kind of put on cruise control, thinking about the past. Hey. Play that film again when I killed Goliath. Play that film again. Everybody seen this in a while? He's nine feet six. You know how he did that? You know, you start to live in the past. And in the times when kings go out to battle, you're staying back. You're idle. And the sin of Sodom was pride, fullness of bread, idleness, and they cared not for the poor and needy in Ezekiel 16. And in that idleness, in that time of prosperity, you think, hey, I've arrived. I I don't need to be on guard. There's no enemy that can touch me. I'm back here at the palace. And the devil says, David, I've been setting you up for this for a long time. David, this area of your flesh is the same area of the flesh that Samson had a problem with. That's women. And I'm gonna dangle Bathsheba, Uriah, one of your mighty men, his wife and Ahithophel's granddaughter across from you and she's going to go up on the roof and she's going to bathe. She's going to be naked, David. And you're going to look over there, David, and the first look is not sin. But that second look and that lusting is adultery. And David, when you try to cover your sin for a year, you're going to be miserable, the baby's going to die, you're going to marry Bathsheba, Uriah is not even going to go through the hoops that you lay out for him. He knows what you've done. He'd rather die an honorable death as a soldier. And Ahithophel, he's so angry at you. He can't touch you. God's still merciful to you, David. But you're not going to die, David. David says, David, you're the man and the sword is not going to depart from your family, David. The consequence of your action are going to be horrific. That what you did in secret is going to be done publicly and that Absalom is going to go into all the harem of your wives on the roof for everybody to see. And Tamar is going to be raped by Amnon, and then Absalom is going to kill Amnon. The sword's not going to part from your family, David. It's going be so horrific. And that's what happens. It's you lose your you lose the integrity of your ministry, you lose the integrity, all the good, all that was being built up, you drop your guard and you think, oh, it can't happen to me. I've had pastors say it to me, oh, I'm sure glad it could never happen to us, Rick. Yes, it can. Can't my wife too. Could happen to anybody and it'll it'll and that's what they're looking for. They're saying, all my friends watch for my fall, saying perhaps he will be enticed and we shall prevail against him, and we shall take our revenge on him. So everybody's waiting to whisper and to slander you. Did you hear what happened to pastor Rick Bodrey? We told you he was evil. Remember we told you he was evil? Now we got the proof. This is what he's been doing. They're waiting for that because then your message is compromised. Now your message is compromised. That message that you've been given is compromised because of your character. But the Lord is with me as a mighty terrible one. Therefore, persecutors shall stumble and they shall not prevail. They shall be greatly ashamed for they shall not prosper. Their everlasting confusion shall never be forgotten. And so, God's with me. God's gonna protect me. The only one that can ruin my ministry or my service under the Lord is me. I'm the only one that can ruin it. No foreigner, no outside person. It's a decision that I make that I decide somehow I'm gonna do this. And what I've discovered is many of the people over the years that came after me and said, we know what's wrong with Calvary Bremerton. Pastor Rick is evil. The guy that caused me so much trouble wound up getting caught in adultery. Another guy that caused me a lot of trouble, he too left his wife in an adultery. I haven't said anything. I haven't named them. I haven't tried to do anything. In fact, it makes me very very sad because I don't wish any ill on any of these people. I hope and pray they reconcile. I hope they can, you know never would I want something like that to happen. And I don't pray for vengeance or vindication or any of that. Don't want anybody to suffer. I don't gloat in any of that. My way of vindication would be the second part of Job. I want the second part. Don't you, Kathy? I want the second part of Job. What? Well, heaven will get it. But I mean now, vindication now. I keep waiting for the second part. Alright. So that would be fun. And so the persecutors, they stumble. And look how notices Jesus warned you. He told you, your enemies will be those of your own household. People the closest to you within your family. Sons and daughters and mothers and fathers. And nobody can hurt you to the degree of people that you're vulnerable to, that you love, that you've let way in, that you've told secret things to. You've you've opened up to people, and and they take it, and they slander and use it against you and all. For they're greatly ashamed, for they shall not prosper. Their everlasting confusion shall never be forgotten. So God always wins. God's gonna win. He always wins. But, oh, Lord of hosts, who test the righteous. It's just a test, Jeremiah. It's just a test written, Kathy. If you fail the test, what happens? You got to retake it. So learn your lessons well. There's no shortcut. There's no shortcut to maturity. It's through suffering. It's through death itself. Satan offered Jesus a shortcut. Hey, Jesus. You can have the kingdoms of the world if you bow down and worship me. Jesus, you don't have to go to the cross, man. Save yourself. There's a shortcut there. But, oh, Lord of hosts, who test the righteous and sees the heart. And so we study Jeremiah seventeen nine and ten. What's it say? God sees the heart. George has it. What's it say in seventeen nine and ten? Oh, alright. First night here and I call on you. That's George right there. Oh, I'm sorry. So the heart is deceitful above all things. Desperately wicked, who can know it? You don't even know your own heart, Oprah. But God knows your heart. God sees your heart. And the word of God is living and powerful and sharper than any two edged sword, dividing us under soul and spirit, joint and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. And so, search me, oh God, and know me. Try my heart. See if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting. So, Lord, my arms are open before you. Search me, know me, try me. See if there'd be any wicked way in me. So, reveal to me my heart. Reveal to me as I'm reading the word of God and as the word of God is being taught at church. Show me the mirror. As I look in the mirror, let me see who I really am, Lord, beyond all the facade, beyond all the line and everything. Reveal my heart to me and lead me in the way everlasting. Get me back on track, Lord. I don't want to live a self deceived life. I don't wanna play the hypocrite. That's in Psalm a hundred and thirty nine twenty three and twenty four for you note takers. And he sees the heart and the mind. Let me see the vengeance of them, for unto thee have I opened my cause. And so he's just opened before the Lord. Lord, I'm yours. I'm not quitting. I'm here to serve you. Here, my Lord, send me. And boy, what I love, I just love another chance. The mercies of the Lord are new every morning. I love God's calling on my life. I love being a husband and a father and a grandpa. And God's ways are just the most perfect best ways. I love being a pastor. I never thought I was supposed to be a pastor. It was surprise, surprise, surprise. But I definitely in in love with serving the Lord. And I I'm as I told you before, Charles Spurgeon said, if God's called you to be one of his pastors, don't lower yourself to become a king. It's a high calling, and all of us have a pastoral calling with our children, with people around us, to tend unto them and also to feed them, to feed them the word of God. We don't rely upon one person as the feeder. We all feed. We take what we learn and we feed others. We disciple, go and make disciples, teaching them to observe all things that I've commanded you along with you always, even to the end of the age. And so I love studying God's word. I'm starting to take pictures of my bible and the notes and post them. And what I want is I want people to see what it means to study the bible. What it means to be a disciple. To study, to show yourself approved under God, a workman that need not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. When I teach the bible, I'm not going to pastors.com and getting somebody else's sermons. I'm studying the word of God and allowing the word of God to get inside of me, for the Lord to teach me, to discover the themes, discover the message, to discover the key words and stuff, that's inductive bible study, and then an exegetical study, expository preaching, and I think it's rare, extremely rare, and so I want to kind of lay the bible out there and show people where I've been since 1980 as a student of God's word. And I don't just show up in the pulpit and open my mouth and extemporaneously preach like, give me something to say. We spend time in the word. We spend time receiving first before we can give. And so, that's basically why I've been prompted to do that. Don't know much longer I'll do it, but I'm hoping it sparks some people to study their Bibles. If you don't want to study, just maybe you like to color. Just color your Bible. Just use a colored crayon. So sing unto the Lord, praise ye the Lord. So he goes from so dejected to getting back going again. And guess what? He's in fellowship with the Lord. He's Paul and Silas in prison and he's singing. The Lord's helping them to sing because fellowship with the Lord is the best place to be. Right? It hasn't alleviated the circumstances. Pasher is going to come after him again and throw him into a pit, you know. He's not done yet. There's going to be harder times. Right? So sing of the Lord, praise of the Lord for he has delivered the soul of the poor from the hand of the evildoers. So James tells us, you know, that those who are poor, the poor are usually rich in faith. The only person we can rely upon is the Lord. We can't rely upon our money, but we have this richness of faith in in a confident hope with this confident expectation, you know, of the Lord and and a faith, the evidence of things hoped for, the substance of things not seen. And so we're looking for a city whose builder and maker is God. We're walking by faith, not by sight. And he's delivered me, so my eyes are on Jesus. When my eyes get back on Jesus, I have the victory. And don't think it's strange concerning the fiery trial that you're in, Peter said in first Peter four twelve. So cursed would be the day of which I was born. What happened? I was just singing. Now I'm fainting. Now I crashed again. Now I'm Job three. Oh, man. I wish I'd have never been born. Curse the day I was born. Curse would be the day in which I was born. Let not the day on which my mother bore me be blessed. Well, the problem Jeremiah is God formed you before and chose you before you were born. Before you're even born, he chose you. You know? I mean, come on man. Cursed. So cursed it again. Cursed be the man who brought tidings to my father saying, a male child is born unto thee, making him very glad. And so they go to the baby reveal party and everybody is wanting to know what the child is and all of a sudden blue confetti goes up in the air. It's a boy, you know. Dad's running around, going crazy. I got my linebacker. Awesome. You know, I got my boy. A male child is born unto thee, making him very glad, so profitable, very profitable. And let that man be like the cities which the Lord overthrew and repented not, and let him hear the cry in the morning and the shouting at noontime. And so he's he's saying it'd been better if I had a miscarriage. My mom would have had a miscarriage if I'd have just gone straight to heaven, you know? Little babies, David couldn't be with his little guy that died being birthed by Bathsheba. David said, I can't be with him now, but later he'll be rejoined. You know, I believe these little babies go straight to heaven. And he's saying, been better if my mother miscarried me and I could have gone straight to heaven. I could have avoided all the suffering, you know, during a lifetime of suffering, so to speak. So he's really, really, really having a pity party. And I've taken you to Jeremiah twelve five and six over and over and over again. This is a place the Lord brought me over and over and over again when I wimp out. And when I wimp out and I start to think that, you know, this is unfair and I can't I can't go another step, God doesn't take and tell me he's sorry. He doesn't apologize to me. I'm sorry, Rick. You need a sucker. You know? What do you need? He doesn't do that. And I know that a masculine voice, the voice of a coach, the voice of a father, the voice of an encourager, a mentor, drill sergeant, someone trying to get out of you more than you think you have. And sometimes you need a nurse, sometimes you need your mommy, you need hugs, you need a kiss, you need home cooked meal at Christmas. Nothing wrong with that side of it. But there's another side, and these kind of guys are being demonized in our culture, but it's a picture of God the father. A picture of God the father, what he says to to Jeremiah, what he says to Elijah, what what he says to his prophets. He tells him basically, buckle up buttercup. You ain't seen nothing yet. It's going to get worse. Right? If you've gone weary in the time of the footmen, the foot soldiers, you're in a battle, you're in a war, we fight not against flesh and blood, but against spirits and principalities of the air. And if you're growing weary in the time at this degree, America, you ain't seen nothing yet. It's not even bad yet. Why are you whipping out now? Why are you why are you melting down now, American Christians? Do you know how many self medicate already? Do know how much of our culture can't cope with life right now? And it's still a prosperous time, especially we as Christians. Count it all joy. You know, when you fall into diverse trials. Right? Count it all joy. In everything, give thanks for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. In everything. Have that thankful singing heart, you know? So if you've grown weary in the time of the footman, what are you going to do in the time of the swelling of the Jordan when the enemy comes in like a flood? When the enemy comes in with the horses and the chariots, you know? What are you going to do? Is your faith going to last? Jesus said when the son of man comes, will he find faith on the earth? Will people be able to endure? I I know the book. I know the end. And I know that there's an innumerable multitude of people in Revelation six and seven that told the devil, that told the Antichrist, hell no. I'm not double masking. Not ever. I'm going to continue to sing on Nebuchadnezzar. I'm going to continue to worship Jesus. I'm not singing to your image, your idolatry. The early church, 6,000,000 Christians in the first two centuries said no to Caesar. I'm not gonna pinch incense once a year. That seems like a little thing. Pinch incense once a year and you can keep your job. They decided to die, 6,000,000 of them executed. In a numerable multitude of people in Revelation six and seven, saying no to the most powerful person upon the planet because they fear God more than they do the devil. Right? More than they do his in place of Jesus Christ. And so, we're growing. The trials I had when I was a brand new Christian are different from the trials I have today. The things that we went through '21, '22, '23, '24 are different than what we're facing thirty, forty years as a Christian. Way different. And I could barely get a prayer out of my mouth the first year of my Christianity. I could barely get the prayer out and I'd be flooded with blessings. Flooded. Every prayer, everything I wanted was coming true. And I prayed a really foolish prayer that I've regretted ever since. I said, Lord, this is so easy. It's so easy to praise you and to worship you when I got my Cathy now. I got a baby coming. Got her own little business. We're paying our bills. We're healthy. I'm not going into the drugs or any of that kind of stuff or alcohol or any of those things that would destroy me. And I got a nice family around me, support, a lot of people that love me, new friends. Lord, this is glorious. This is great. Anybody can do this, Lord. Lord, this is a self righteous pious prayer. Lord, make me the kind of Christian that will praise you and worship you in the midst of trials. Wish I'd have never been so self righteous. Right? Wish I'd have never been so self righteous. And but I want to say that when you're a brand new Christian, it's so amazing that just a multitude of things that begin to change and his love being poured on his grace and all that stuff. And then later, as time goes your daughter might have kyphosis, her back is turning, and you might have some financial reversals or physical problems, now you're learning to rely more and more upon the Lord. You're not as selfish and introspective and thinking Christianity is all about you. You're willing to lay your life down. You're willing to trust the Lord more and more. Your faith is growing. The Lord's preparing you for up ahead for what he has for you. And I think with Kathy and I, what the Lord from the very beginning was teaching us, and I think teaching you, all of us, is what it means to walk by faith. It takes a lot of faith to get married. It takes a lot of faith to work your job. A lot of faith to continue being faithful to the Lord and taking that step, day by day by day day by day, to follow in obedience unto Him. And we're going through this life walking by faith. We don't have all the answers. We don't have everything fulfilled that we want, our dreams, our aspirations, and all that thing, but we're willing to put the Lord first, to seek first the kingdom of God and his righteous, all these other things be added unto you. And so because he slew me not from the womb, or that my mother might have been my my grave, and her womb to be always great with me, so I could have been miscarried, I could she could have had me stillborn. Why came I forth out of the womb? Why am I even born? You ever said that? Lord, why am I even here? Now before I became a Christian, that's a common thing. People reach a place where, why am I even here? What's the purpose of life? God, what do you want me to do? And then as a Christian, you're walking by faith trying to think, alright, what what is it? You hear the pastors always talk, God's got a plan for your life. Got a gift for you. God's got a purpose and a ministry, and you can serve the Lord. And you're wondering where you fit in. And I didn't know where I fit in. And I wanted to be a Christian husband, father, and a businessman. I thought being self employed is a good idea, you know? And I thought I wanted to do that, and the Lord blessed me to the point where I was thankful, grateful, you know, all that. But inside here, it wasn't fulfilling me. And then I project out, and I'd say, alright, I got two trucks now. If I get a third truck or a fourth truck, if I have my guys do the business that built up for ten years, if I transition with a real estate license and go start selling real estate or do loans and do more of a professional kind of an adult kind of a job before my back goes out, I could do that and this. And what's the goal? Should we have a second house, a third house? Where are we going with this, Lord? What should I do? And it didn't stoke the fire within me. It didn't it didn't I went and I taught Sunday school, and I was just fascinated. Absolutely fascinated. Just blown away studying the bible, and then having the privilege and the blessing of teaching the children the bible absolutely blew me away. And but I didn't it didn't register. I didn't I didn't think there was any gifting there. I just knew that it was awesome. And then I started attending home bible studies and the guy running the bible study would remark about my working knowledge of the scripture. I thought everybody had that. Everybody. We're all Christians. There's nobody better than that. Thought we all had that. And I was trying to what do you mean? And then he let me teach a Bible study, and I went and I studied all week long, and went and did the bible study, and my heart was like Jeremiah here. My heart was just stirring. But then I thought, well, you know, how do you do that? And so, anyway, long story short, you've heard this before. For me, it was a journey of trying to discover what my gifts were and where I fit in within the body. And once I Cathy and I, once we ventured out in faith to go plant a church, and began to move in that direction, we've always felt inadequate. The job, the calling is so much greater than us. And that's why I was, like, caught in that formula thing where when everything fell apart, it was like, you can't be expecting me to be 100% perfect in the management and the exercise of this ministry. There's no doctor that's perfect. There's no baseball player that's perfect. There's no judge or jury or anybody. You can't put the margin of air on me that I had to be perfect in doing this, you know? So I'm I'm I'm humbled and amazed that we've lasted this long. And it's it's it's truly, you know, like a miracle. It's like a miracle that Jeremiah could last for forty years. It's just absolutely astounding that he would last that long with all this adversity and all this stuff against him. So don't ever stop or quit. So I came out of the womb to see the labor and sorrow that the day should be consumed with shame. And so he's filled with self pity. He's not going to end with a very successful ministry by the world standards. He's not gonna develop a big following or a church or have a huge revival like Jonah did, forty days and you're gonna perish and the whole city repented. But when people ask when Jesus asked his disciples, who do men say that I am? A whole lot of people are gonna say some say you're Jeremiah. Well, what's that mean in the mind of the people? What do you mean Jeremiah? Jeremiah cared so much for these people that he's known as the weeping prophet. He wept over these people. He didn't just condemn them and proclaim judgment on them. He interceded. It broke his heart. It broke his heart. It was the heart of God that was put inside of Jeremiah that was breaking just the same way that Jesus wept over the city of Jerusalem. You remind us of Jeremiah. And so don't stop because of difficulty or pain. The message might be bitter. The message might cause pain in people. They're a little uncomfortable hearing that kind of a message. Don't stop because the message is a difficult message to give. Continue to give it. And don't stop because of the difficulty. At this point, 63 years old and twenty eight years of marriage, or twenty eight years of being here in Bremerton, forty two years of marriage, at this point, all I want to do is finish. I have no dreams of grandeur that someday no. All I want now is to just finish. I want to finish well. I'm pressing toward the mark. I wanna get to that finish line. Jesus is coming. He's the star. He's the celebrity. And all you and I need to do is to hear Jesus say, well done, thou good and faithful servants. You've been faithful over a few things. I'm gonna make you rulers over much. Enter into the joy of the Lord. That's where the joy is gonna be, the joy of the Lord. So there's heartache and there's huge blessing. Tonight's a blessing for me. Yesterday was a huge blessing for me. And when I hear you guys out there, and I hear Betty all the time laughing, and everybody laughing, and everybody having a good time. I'm just so blessed to be a part of this body of believers, even though it's a little remnant church. This church is on fire, filled with the Holy Spirit, filled with joy. Why? Because we're looking for the return of Jesus. Amen. Because we teach prophecy. And because we teach prophecy, the holy spirit is so tickled that we're looking because the holy spirit's job is to bear witness of the son. So for a guy not to teach prophecy means you're denying the Holy Spirit, stirring the people's hearts about the soon return of Jesus. That's why when I hear some of this doctrine these guys are teaching, I said that steals the glory away from the Lord, that that pre wrath rapture stuff or Preterist or whatever. When they take when when they do not teach a pre tribulation rapture, they're taking the glory away from the Lord in his coming for his bride. And that's why those churches that do that, that don't teach prophecy, that's why the people and those there are angry. Why are they angry? Because they're losing their country. Because they're losing America. And America was a part of the prosperity gospel. Don't you know that Jesus is an American? Don't you know that? And now that they recognize they're losing it, what are they gonna hope in now? I gotta get ready for the tribulation period now. If we had a better leader, we wouldn't go into the tribulation yet. Let's pray. Father, we come before you and we thank you for the simplicity of your word and the blessing of knowing you, the blessing of fellowship with you. And Lord, help us to continue to grow. Help us to continue to mature. Help us to spend that time at your feet, singing, worshiping. And Lord, let it not be by might nor by power, by our natural might or power intellect, but by your spirit. Not by might nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord. And so, we need to rely upon your holy spirit every moment of every day, and especially in these last days, Lord, as wickedness, as evil is ramping up, as evil is being emboldened against us. And help us, Lord, to be like the early church, like those throughout history, like those in Iran, like those in Niger, like those in China, where you, Lord Jesus, are their everything. You're our portion forever. Help us, Lord, to grow in the grace and knowledge of you. Help us to grow in our faith. Lord, fill our hearts with your love. Give us discernment. Give us vision. Give us dreams. Let us rescue be used of you to rescue others who are filled with despair. Lord, help us to hone our eschatology. Help us to sharpen in our understanding of the last days events. Help us to hone and sharpen our understanding of the times in which we're living, To not be like Gehazi who didn't know the time that he was living in. To not be like those in the time of Mordecai and Esther who didn't get it, Lord. As Esther says, for such a time as this, as Mordecai's letting her know, this is your moment. This is your moment in time. And Lord, help us to enter in. Help us to seize the moment, to be a part of the bride of Christ, the the function, the duty, the the the job that we should be about about doing just before the rapture, that we'd be the church of Philadelphia maybe, Lord. Help us bring glory and honor unto you, Lord, we pray. In Jesus' name, amen.
