Jeremiah 20
Pastor Rick Beaudry walks through Jeremiah 20, recounting Pashur's punishment of Jeremiah and the prophet's anguished struggle with God before returning to faithful proclamation. He challenges the church's avoidance of biblical prophecy, critiques the purpose driven movement and Rick Warren's influence, and underscores that only a small fraction of churches teach prophecy expositorily. Drawing parallels to present signs of moral and geopolitical decline, he defends a pre-tribulation hope and urges urgent readiness for Christ's imminent return. He calls us to endure suffering, study the Scriptures, remain faithful to our calling, and finish well.
