Give them great favor. In Jesus' name, amen. Amen. Alright. Jeremiah 11. The wind is blowing. Okay. Okay. God made a covenant with the nation of Israel. And Jeremiah the prophet is the weeping prophet, and he's prophesying for about forty years. And in this message here, chapter 11, God is reminding wanting Jeremiah to remind the people that he made a covenant with them, and it was a two part covenant. One is if you obey, I'm gonna bless you. Gonna bring you into a land of flowing with milk and honey. If you rebel against me, and sin against me, and go into idolatry and all that, then then you're gonna lose. You're gonna lose all the benefits. You're gonna lose everything that I wanted to do for you. And so they're in a time of apostasy. They're in a time where they've turned their back upon God. He's gonna point out that there are idols, false gods, little g gods on every corner in Jerusalem, and you have more gods gods than there are cities, you know, in the entire country. So he says, the word that came to Jeremiah from the Lord saying, hear the words of this covenant and speak unto the men of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem and say unto them, thus saith the Lord God of Israel, cursed be the man that obeys not the words of this covenant. So there's blessing and there's cursing, and they in in Deuteronomy or excuse me, in Exodus twenty four seven and eight, the Lord had brought forth his covenant. Deuteronomy twenty seven nine through twenty eight sixty three through 68, the Lord indicated that there'd be a dispersion that eventually if I if I have to judge you and I have to bring another nation against you, there's gonna be the diaspora. You're gonna be dispersed, you know, all over the all over the worlds, and and that's exactly what's happened throughout history. God's gonna use Nebuchadnezzar in May to destroy Jerusalem, and they're gonna spend seventy years in captivity, and they're gonna be spread abroad. And then after that seventy years, you're gonna see where Nehemiah and Ezra the priest and others are able come back and begin to rebuild Jerusalem. And then there's a period of time where they're back in the land and time of the second temple period where Herod the great is building rebuilding the temple, and and Jesus shows up. Jesus comes along. It's his time in this first advent. And again, they reject the Messiah and the diaspora, the dispersion. In seventy AD, Titus surrounded the city of Jerusalem and destroyed it. Jesus said not one stone would remain upon another. And then the Jews are spread all over the planet. And for close to two thousand years, that's the way it is. And very few Jews live in in, you know, Israel. But on 05/14/1948, according to Ezekiel thirty six and thirty seven, the nation of Israel was reborn. The nation of Israel in unbelief though, in unbelief. They're reborn in unbelief and that the Lord regathered them from all over the world and brought them back into the land. And so although he makes a covenant and it's a conditional covenant, they don't have the ability to keep the covenant and praise the Lord Jesus comes along and gives us a new covenant that he can keep and that we can receive, you know, as a gift. As a gift, we receive the blessings of the Lord, our salvation because of his faithfulness. James tells us that, you know, whosoever keeps the whole law and misses in one year, you're guilty of it all. So the old the old covenant was designed to show us our need of a savior, to show us our need of Jesus. And so Balaam tried to he was confronted by king Balak to bring a curse upon the nation of Israel with the Midianites and all. And Balaam, the false prophet who prophesied a lot of true prophecies, he he said, you can't directly go after them that way, cursing them. God won't allow that. But, you can entice them. You can get them in a compromising situation where it's God will be the one disciplining them. And so the devil can't directly come against you and I, let's say, unless he gets permission like with Job. But we as Christians, if we choose to, we can backslide and we can give the devil permission to destroy our lives. But if we say no to the devil and we say yes to the Holy Spirit, we're protected. We're protected from, you know, a huge onslaught. Actions bring consequences, so God's not mocked. Whatsoever man sows, that shall also reap. In the church today, the number one enemy or weapon that the devil uses against us is deception. Jesus said, take heed that no man deceive you. So with the media and all the stuff going on and the lack of bible teachers that won't teach the bible, the so called Christians don't have a Christian worldview, a biblical worldview. Like 4%, only 4% view the world through the lens of the Bible. And and then the next weapon that the devil uses is again like with the nation of Israel, drawing the church into sexual immorality. And when the church is drawn into sexual immorality, and we're living just like the world, then look at this. Then then we lose man, I am so popular. Then we lose that protection. We become vulnerable. We become powerless. The salt is good for nothing but to be trodden in the foot of men, you know. And so rather than being a preserving influence in the culture, we can't preserve anything. The putrefaction, the corruption begins to overthrow the church. And Jesus is looking at the Laodicean church, he said, you're you're neither hot nor cold. You know, you're lukewarm. You make me sick. I wanna spew you out of my mouth. He'd rather you're hot or cold. And so this indifference to the things of the spirit and a false sense of security in that, you know, I'm rich and increased with goods and in need of nothing. And Jesus says, no, you're naked, poor, blind, and miserable, in actuality. So the nation of Israel here, they've blown it with their covenant. They've been disobedient. In Romans chapter one verse five, we hear about the the obedience of faith. James says, you know, faith without works is dead. So people say they believe, they profess that they know God, but in works they deny Him, which which means by the works of the flesh shall no man be justified. When Paul uses the word works, he's talking about a person that's trying to keep the law. You can't do it. But when James says faith without works is dead, James is talking about fruit. That if you say you believe, there's gonna be fruit that proves you believe. There's gonna be evidence thereof. And so you're not gonna Christianize all the worldly aberrant behavior. So I'm a Christian adulterer. I'm a Christian pot smoker. I'm a Christian drunk. I'm a Christian fornicator. I'm a Christian liar. I'm a Christian murderer. I'm a Christian homosexual. I'm a Christian lesbian. So that's what's happening today. You Christianize all the behavior. You say that, hey, I believe, but in works you deny him. The fruit of your life is not indicative of what it means to be a Christian. You haven't come to repentance. You you are practicing a lifestyle of sin. You're no different than the world. And so the Lord tells us to come out from among them, be separate, touch not the unclean thing and I'll receive you, saith the Lord. So it's not that we don't sin. If we say we have no sin, we're a liar, but we don't practice sin. We don't live a lifestyle of sin. Now these people, they still go to temple, They still offer sacrifices. They're still going through the motions of being followers of Judaism. But, Jeremiah can't get their attention that their heart, you know, is divided, that their heart has been given over to lewdness and licentiousness. And and so, when Hezekiah was sick and he went against the wall and began to weep and and crying out to God. God sent Nathan the prophet and said, tell Hezekiah, I'll give him fifteen more years. And before that, he said, prepare your house because his sickness is unto death. And Hezekiah went and wept before the Lord. And the Lord says, alright, I'll give you fifteen more years. And so they take this balm and they put it on the boil and he's healed and all that. And but in that fifteen years, he had a son named Manasseh. And Manasseh ruled and reigned for fifty five years. And Manasseh was the most wicked Obama Biden you ever saw, you know, leading the entire nation into wickedness. Wickedness, wickedness, wickedness for fifty five years, even at the point of Manasseh offering his own children unto Baal, unto the false prophet Baal. So they'd heat the statue up with the red, white, hot arms, and then they'd take these unwanted pregnancies and set them on the arms of the of the statue. So it's like our abortion today. It's murdering of these unwanted children. Now, in this in this idolatry, again, the devil will use a sexual, lusting to try and get people involved in the various forms of idolatry and they inevitably would have a a form of a fertility goddess, whether it be Baal or Balim or Aphrodite. And so part of the religious right, the false religious right, was, you know, the sexual promiscuity, the sexual priestesses that would come down and sell themselves to the men, the women, and, and then the unwanted pregnancies, the, Valley Of Hinnom, Gehenna, where we get the word in the New Testament of hell, where the the Lake Of Fire, where the worm dieth not and the fires never quenched. That was a that was a junkyard outside of Jerusalem of a pet perpetual burning of getting rid of those bodies, of getting rid of all the stuff that was associated with, with this sort of thing. And so then Manasseh winds up coming to know the Lord, amazingly. Where sin does abound, grace does much more abound. Right? In Isaiah 35. The Assyrians grab ahold of Manasseh and they put hooks in his jaw and they take him back to Assyria. And he, while in affliction, he cries out to God and he wound up being able to come back. But he was more wicked than all the other kings put together. And God says, nope, the nation's ripe for judgment, but there was another son that came along after that named Josiah. Josiah reigned for thirty one years. And Josiah was the child king, the one that made reforms, and that's the time we're at right now. He's making reforms. He's getting rid of the Sodomites. He's getting rid of the idols. He's trying to clean things up, but it's too late. Judgment's coming, but yet Josiah, king Josiah, who would die in battle with pharaoh Necho of Egypt as he's going out in the league with him. But, yeah, he would eventually die, but the lord the lord indicated that that was a blessing just like in Isaiah fifty seven one, that he wouldn't see the evil to come, and so god, you know, god took him home. So, let's look at Deuteronomy twenty seven nine. Let's go there. Moses and the priests and the Levites spoken to all Israel saying, take heed and hearken o Israel, this day thou art become the people of the Lord thy God. Thou shall therefore obey the voice of the Lord thy God and do, the emphasis on the old covenant is doing. The emphasis on the new covenant is trusting. Jesus said, it is finished. I did it. Right? He did it. You and I can't do it. He doesn't want us to do it. In John six, some guys came to Jesus and said, good master, what are the works that we could do that we could receive, you know, eternal life? And he says, this is the work that you believe on him whom he has sent. So it's salvation is by grace through faith. The just shall live by faith. But the emphasis here is upon doing. It's upon obedience. Thou shall therefore obey the voice of the Lord thy God and do his commandments and his statutes which I command you this day. And Moses charged the people the same day saying, these shall stand about, half of them are gonna be about on Mount Gerizim to bless the people when you come over the Jordan, Simeon, Levi, and Judah, and Issachar, and Joseph, and Benjamin, and these shall stand upon Mount Ebal. So you got two different mountains as the people are coming through. You'd have one group pronouncing the blessings and another group pronouncing the curses that would come upon them based upon obedience or disobedience. Right? We see that? And and these shall stand upon Mount Ebal to curse Reuben, Gad, Asher, Zebulun, Dan, and Naphtali. And the Levites shall speak and say unto all the men of Israel with a loud voice, cursed be the man who make of any carved or melted image, an abomination unto the Lord, the work of the hands of the craftsman, and puts it in a secret place, and all the people shall answer and say, amen. Cursed be he who dishonors his father or his mother, and all the people shall say, amen. Cursed be he who removes the neighbor's landmark, and all the people shall say, amen. So you're going through all these curses, and then you come down to chapter 28 and, let's see here. 28 verse 63 now. Aren't you glad he didn't make us read all that? Okay. And it shall come to pass that as the Lord rejoice over you to do you good and to multiply you, so the Lord will rejoice over you to destroy you and to bring you to nothing. And you shall be plucked from off the land to which thou goest to possess it. And the Lord shall scatter thee among all the people from one end of the earth even under the other end and there shalt thou serve other gods which neither thou nor thy fathers have known even wooden stone. And among these nations shalt thou find no no ease, neither shall the sole of your foot have rest, but the Lord shall give thee there a trembling heart and failing of eyes and sorrow of mine. You're gonna be out of God's will. And thy life shall hang in doubt before thee, and thou shalt fear day and night, and shall have no assurance of thy life. In the morning, thou shalt say, would to God it were evening, and at evening, would to say, would to God it were the morning. For the fear of thine heart wherewith thou shalt fear, and and the sight of thine eyes which thou shall see. So no peace. And the Lord shall bring thee into Egypt, and again, the ships by the way, thereof I spoke unto thee, thou shall see it no more again, and there shall be sold unto your enemies, and male and female slaves, and no man shall shall buy you. And so, the judgment that God is is speaking upon him as a result of disobedience, there's a promise there. There's a covenant that he's making. And and so he says, you obeyed not the words of this covenant, which verse four, which I commanded your fathers in the day that I brought them forth out of the land of Egypt from the iron furnace. So you're gonna spend four hundred and thirty years down in Egypt going through an iron furnace. You're gonna make bricks, and you're gonna be slaves under pharaoh, you know, during this period of time. And the Lord is bringing forth the people. You go down into Egypt, first of all, with Joseph who sold and goes before you for 20 pieces of silver, a type of Christ. And so, the time he's 17 to the time he's 30, Jesus started his public ministry at the age of 30, and Joseph elevated the second command of pharaoh at the age of 30. A famine comes out all over the land, and so now you got Jacob and the brothers of Joseph, the 70, came down into Egypt, and Joseph's able to put them in an area of of Goshen where there's lots of good grass, and the Israelites with Jacob are shepherds. The Egyptians hated shepherds. They looked down their noses at shepherds, they gave them some really good grass to graze upon. And then there came a time where, Jacob died and, and Joseph's still alive. And when Jacob died, he called his brothers in and he said, that which you meant for evil, God meant for good, to save many people this day. And so they were worried, you know, what's Joseph gonna do? But then and so they're multiplying. They're starting to have families and they're growing. But then it came a time where there was a pharaoh who knew not Joseph. And and that pharaoh who knew not Joseph began to listen to his his advisors saying, these Israelites are multiplying faster than we can we can stop. You know, they're just they're they're gonna overtake us and all. And so they they, turned them into slaves. And, and then as they're slaves, you remember in the time of Moses, you're supposed to take the male children and throw them into the Nile and, try to try to reduce the population. And Moses, his name means drawn forth, and so the Lord raised up a deliverer, that of Moses. And then Moses, when the time was right, he tried to do it in his flesh and it wasn't right. He slew an Egyptian. He went out in the deserts of Midian for forty years. So his first forty in Egypt, second forty, tending the sheep of Jethro. And about 80 years old, the Lord appears to him in a burning bush, and Moses and, and the Lord commissions Moses and his brother Aaron to go tell the pharaoh, let my people go. And so you know the story, the Exodus and the parting of the Red Sea and all the plagues. And each plague was designed to confront each and every one of the false gods that the Egyptians had and to prove to everybody the impotency of this false belief system. And so they come on out, and there's millions of them, and then God takes us, we just read in Deuteronomy, and he divides them up Mount Gerizim, Mount Ebal. He makes a covenant with them as his covenant people. And, and now we're here in the book of Jeremiah. They violated that covenant. They they don't believe. They're not trusting. They're not following the Lord. So he talks about in their past, they came through that iron furnace saying, obey my voice and do them according to all which I command you, so shall you be my people and I'll be your God. In Deuteronomy four twenty, he describes this fiery iron furnace in first Kings eight fifty one, this fiery furnace. And, we remember Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego in a fiery furnace in Daniel, you know, chapter three. And a picture of the nation of Israel in the tribulation period. Daniel's not mentioned, a picture of Daniel being a type of the church, the rapture. And then we see Peter using illustration of a fiery furnace in first Peter one, first Peter four, and the trial of of our faith as we go through the fiery furnace. The purpose of the fiery furnace is refiner's fire. Rob can sing that song, refiner's fire. And so the Lord causes us to go through these fiery trials. He burns off the dross, which are the impurities, and the metal the metalsmith knows he has pure metal when? When, Rob? When? When skims off the grass. When? When he can see his face. Right? Jesus is finished when we look like him. When we see his face. Right? Okay. So, obey my voice and do them according to all which I command you, so shall you be my people and I'll be your God. And Deuteronomy four twenty says, I want you to fear me. You need to fear me. The word fear speaks of reverence and awe. It speaks of respect. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of what? The fear of the Lord is beginning of what? Knowledge. Knowledge. Knowledge. Wisdom and knowledge. Wisdom and knowledge. Yeah. And so wisdom wisdom is what? Knowledge. Knowledge. The ability to know how to use the knowledge. If I can split an atom and I don't have wisdom, I might use it to kill a bunch of people. Right? But if I can split an atom and I use it to produce energy, I'm using it in a wise manner. Right? So the fear of the Lord is beginning in wisdom. You just win the lottery, you have no wisdom. You lose all the money. Right? Mhmm. Mhmm. So we we ask the Lord, if any man lack wisdom, let him ask of God who freely gives. Right? I don't have much wisdom. But Cathy has a lot of wisdom, so I listen to her. That I may perform the oath which I have sworn unto your fathers to give them a land flowing with milk and honey as it is this day. Then answered I and said, so be it, oh Lord. So how many of you parents or grandparents have prodigal children? Anybody? Do you know what a prodigal were you the prodigal child? No. No. No? Now, problem with a prodigal or for a parent I had a prodigal parent, but as a parent, I've had a prodigal daughter from time to time. She's doing really good now. But we use the word in athletics and school and music, we use the word potential. As parents, we see potential. We see God given potential gifting placed within these children. And then we as parents take knowledge of them, we get to know them, we get to identify their bent in life, and we don't try to make them in our image. We take knowledge of them and try to help them facilitate them moving in the direction that God's made them. So if they're gifted at music, we try to get them in music school and get them a guitar and piano, whatever it takes. We don't try to force, a son that's gifted in music to be the next Babe Ruth. Maybe they're gifted in two, three ways. So alright, you can play sports, but music might be the bent. So in many cases, a frustrated father, who is a frustrated athlete, wants his son to fulfill his dreams. So they will impose upon these kids their desires, and then the kid, all he can think of is he loves to serve or he loves to draw, he loves to paint, he's artistic, you know, and he got that maybe from his mother, or just grandmother, somebody prior. And, and so you try to force these things on kids and it just doesn't quite work, and, they become frustrated. So fathers, you know, provoke not your children to wrath. And then in other cases, you're doing everything you can. You see their potential. They're prolific in in academics. They're prolific in sports. They're prolific in music and all these other things. And and then what happens? What happens to ruin it? Criticism. What's that? Criticism. Criticism? That could be. If you've got daughters, it's always a boy. Uh-huh. Boy always. Rings. A boy comes along. And a boy or something? And nowadays it might be a girl. Don't know. A boy or the boy. You know? But they get off they get off track, and then they're they're they're friends, the people that they associate with. You take and you bring them into the youth group, and they've got this tremendous potential. It's there. You wanna groom it, wanna help it to grow. And they go into the youth group, and you find out that the youth group isn't about Jesus. It's about circumventing the rules. They've learned to lie, they do the same dope, they do the same drugs, they do the same everything, promiscuity and all that. And that's the avenue that they begin to indulge themselves in the world. And some of them don't come out of that drugs and alcohol for twenty, thirty years. They wind up being taken down from the youth group, you know. That's your prodigal. And they go off into the world, and they take off, and they leave home. They don't follow the rules anymore. And you're sitting there going, man, unreal, such un you know, I had such great hopes, high hopes, such great dreams, such great things I could see the potential in this child. And the devil came in and destroyed it by deceiving her or deceiving him or bringing deceivers, you know. And and you your heart breaks because your intention was to come alongside them and help them to enter into all that God has intended for them. But actions have consequences, and you can't life support it. It has to be cooperation with the Holy Spirit. They've gotta be able to cooperate. So that's that's what's happening here is the Lord saying, man, I wanted to put you in a place, land flowing with milk and honey. I wanted you to have all the bennies, all the blessings, all the everything, and but I can't now. I can't because you have disobeyed me, and now you're going after foreign gods and all these different things. You didn't fear me. You didn't respect me. You didn't look to me. You were seduced by by the devil and his false prophets. And so, he says, verse five, that I may perform the oath which I have sworn unto your fathers to give them a land flowing with milk and honey as it is this day. So you're in that land of milk and honey. I have blessed you. I fulfilled my end of the bargain, my end of the promise, and, you're there. Then answered I and said, so be it, oh lord. And so, then the lord said unto me, proclaim all these words in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem saying, hear the words of this covenant and do them. And so, turn to, second Chronicles, chapter 34. Second Chronicles thirty four nineteen. So they find let's look at 14. So they find the they're going into the temple. It's been dormant, apostate, and Josiah is the king, and Josiah is gonna make early reforms. But one of the things that really triggers a great, you know, revival, if we can use that word loosely, Let's call it a reformation. They're reforming. The reason we use the word reform is because the king is going to make these reforms. He's gonna get rid of all of the idols and all the sodomites and all that stuff that they've been involved in. But revival is from the heart. Revival is inward. You can reform and make people externally follow the rules when you're a king and you're you're in charge, but you can't change their heart. So, it was short lived. So when they brought out the money that was brought into the, house of the Lord, Hilkiah the priest found a book of the law, the Lord had given by Moses. So they found some money. They're gonna use some money to repair the temple, and now they find the book of Moses. And Hilkiah said to Shaphan, the scribe, I have found the book of the law in the house of the Lord. And Hilkiah delivered the book to Shaphan. And Shaphan carried the book to the king. Can you imagine? You're the nation of Israel and nobody has the book. Nobody has a bible. Nobody has the Pentateuch, the first five books of the bible. You've been entrusted with the word of God, but you've been in such incredible apostasy under Manasseh that all the books have been burned. But the priest hid. They hid this scroll, you know, within the the temple. And so they brought wood back again saying, all that was committed to thy servants, they are doing. They have gathered together the money that was found in the house of the Lord and have delivered it into the hand of the overseers, into the hand of the workmen. Then Shaphan the scribe told the king saying, Hilkiah the priest has given me a book. And Shaphan read it before the king. And it came to pass when the king had heard the words of the law, so Josiah is hearing the words of the law that he tore his clothes. There's a famine in the land for the word of God. Right? And you and I, we can take it for granted that we have such good Bible teachers on the radio, and we got so many Bibles and churches to go hear the word of God and all. Things are changing drastically now. When we, for me, if I hear somebody teaching the Bible in a comfort comprehensive manner where they're actually doing justice to the text, it's very comforting to me because it's so rare anymore. It's so rare to hear the bible be taught the way that god wants it to be taught. Yeah. There's a lot of circus clowns in the pulpits starting out with the bible, starting out with a verse, but they never come back to the bible, you know. They just go into all these stories and stuff. So, anyway, just reading the bible. Think of how powerful just reading the bible is right here. Not even developing a sermon. Just reading the bible. So you heard the words of the law that he tore his clothes, And the king commanded Hilkiah and Hakim, the son of Shaphan, and Abdon, the son of Micah, and Shaphan the scribe, and Asaiah, the servant of the king, saying, go inquire of the Lord for me and for them who are left in Israel and in Judah concerning the words of the book that is found for great is the wrath of our Lord that is to be poured out upon us because our fathers have not kept the word of the Lord to do all that is written in this book. So he knows. Hey, the warning's here. The warning's here. And, we need to call the nation to repentance. And Hilkiah, and they whom the king had appointed went to Huldah. Now, this is a prophetess. This is this is a woman. Philip had, four daughters who are prophetesses. Prophetesses are those who bring forth the word of God. They speak forth the word of God just as a prophet. So Huldah, the prophetess, the wife of Shelem, the son of Takath, the son of Harash, keeper of the wardrobe. Now she dwelt in Jerusalem in the second quarter, and they spoke to her, to that effect. So a lot of times in a time of apostasy, the the male prophets, the male priests, the male that were in leadership dropped the ball. So in the time of the judges, the Lord, because all the males dropped the ball and went the easy route of compromise, the Lord raises up a Deborah to be a judge. In this case here, you have a faithful lady named Huldah, and you got Ananias and or excuse me. What's Robin Vicky's name in the book of Acts? Ananias and Sapphira? No. No. Right? Is that Acts five? I hope not. Is that Acts five? Ananias and Sapphira? Who am I looking for? Who am I looking for? Home bible study people. They they taught Apollos more perfectly. Remember? They spoke to Apollos. Aquila and Priscilla. Aquila and Priscilla. Yeah. There you go. So that you got this husband and wife team, you know, in the word of God, men and women of the word. They're helping the great Apollos understand the baptism of the spirit. Right? Alright. So, yeah, I was waiting for drop them. Drop them, Lord. Alright. They just went to Vegas, Lord. Drop them. Drop them. Inverted our vision. Mhmm. Boy, they sure came back hungry. You don't wanna go start a church in Vegas? Yeah. Alright. Where sin does abound, grace does much more abound. Yep. Amen. Okay. So the keeper of the water let's see here. And they answered them, and thus saith the Lord God, tell ye the man that sent you to me, thus saith the Lord, behold, I will bring evil upon this place and upon its inhabitants, even all the curses written in the book which we have read before the king because they have forsaken me and have burned incense unto other gods that they might provoke me to anger with all the works of their hands. Therefore, my wrath shall be poured out upon this place and shall not be quenched. And as for the king of Judah watch this. This is Isaiah fifty seven one. And as for the king of Judah, who sent you to inquire of the Lord, so shall you send to him, thus saith the Lord God for Israel concerning words which thou hast heard, because thine heart was tender and thou did humble thyself before God when thou heardest his words against this place and against his inhabitants and humbled thyself before me and did tear thy clothes and weep before me. I have even heard thee also saith the Lord, behold, I will gather thee to thy fathers. So, you and I might be thinking, oh, wow. Josiah got punished. God killed him in battle to pharaoh Necho. God's looking at it totally different. Think of think of Moses. Moses smote the rock a second time and he's on Mount Nebo. Right? He's looking across the Jordan, and it's his dream to lead the children of Israel on into the promised land. But God says, nope. You're not going, Moe. You're not going. You misrepresented me. You're a type of the law. Joshua's a type of Christ. Only Christ can lead us into the promised land, but Moses doesn't quite catch all that. He's thinking it's an act of discipline. But where would you rather be with all those miserable, whiny people, or would you rather be on the mount of transfiguration with Jesus, you know, in Matthew 17. Right? Right? Oh, poor Moses. No. Not poor Moses. Then not poor Josiah. Notice what he says there. Behold, I will gather thee to thy fathers, and thou shall be gathered to thy grave in peace. Neither shall thine eye see all the evil that I will bring upon America and upon the inhabitants of the same. So they brought the king words again. I'm watching a lot of pastors being taken home to be with Jesus and they don't have to see evil that's coming upon America. God in his grace and mercy says, you're done. Why don't you come on home with me? And at Calvary Bremerton, there's so many people curse because God's healing you. If he loved you, he'd take you home. Right? Yes. You wouldn't have to see the the evil to come. Right? Right? And and so if God's healing you, that means you're not ready for heaven yet. You know? When you're ready, you're going you're going, man. You know? You haven't graduated. So I'm not afraid of death to be asking the bodies to be present with the Lord. My number one concern right now is my grandkids. Absolutely. I don't want to see America collapse into communism and a foreign foreigners come in here with their armies and destroy and grab our kids and take them to camps, and it just blows my mind. Know? So bring the rapture, Lord. Bring the rapture. Rapture us. Take us home. You know? But for me as an adult, I'm I'm ready to go. Sometimes at the gym, the guys will say to me, hey. You're probably gonna live till you're 90. And I said, that's not why I'm here. I'm I I don't mind dying tomorrow. Alright. I'm I'm fine with it. Mhmm. I'm here because whatever time I have left here, want it to be quality. I don't want the pain, the sciatic going down and can't walk and, you know, how I've asked Kathy many times, honey, would you like to be a motorcycle mama with me and ride let's get a Harley and you ride on the back and I'll ride. And she's like, Rick, Rick, Rick, you would crash it and we wouldn't die. We'd be eaten through a straw and we'd have to stay in that body, stuck in that body for years and years and years, you know? No, Rick. So yeah. Exactly. You know? So, I mean, there's worse things than death. Right? Yes. Yeah. Worse things than death. So praise the Lord, Josiah, man. The Lord's saying, I'm gonna I'm gonna I'm take gonna you home. You're gonna go into battle as a king and and with helping Pharaoh Nekko out, and you're gonna get a you're you're gonna get an arrow that's gonna pierce you, buddy. Alright. So we're back here. So we get a little backdrop of what's happened at the time of Josiah, trying to bring in the reforms. And, verse six, then the Lord said to me, proclaim all these words in the cities of Judah and the streets of Jerusalem saying, hear the words of this covenant and do them. Repent. Now do we have anybody doing that in our country? No. Do we have anybody calling the nation to repentance? Uh-uh. No. We're exceptional. We're exceptional generation. We're gonna make America great. We're the greatest nation on the planet. Yeah. We we we are the greatest pedophiles on the planet, you know? That's what we are. Preying upon children and other nations and such. There's no call. The religious leaders aren't the Christian pastors aren't calling their congregations to repentance because that would mean they did something wrong. We haven't done anything wrong. For I earnestly protested unto you fathers in the day that I brought them up out of the land of Egypt, even unto this day, rising early and protesting saying, obey my voice. And so Romans one verse five is the obedience of faith. You if you believe, there's gonna be a desire in your heart to live a life that's pleasing unto God. You're not under the law. It's love. Love's a higher motivator. Cathy, and I, in our relationship with each other, there's a trust there in that we don't want to, do bad things to each other because not because, you know, we're under the law, but it's love. The love's motivating us to, be faithful to each other, to be faithful unto God. Yet they obeyed not nor inclined their ear, but walked everyone in the imagination of their evil heart. What's that mean? So let's talk about objective truth, absolute truth, and subjective truth. What's subjective? What's objective? Objective. Two plus two equals four. Right? Absolute. That's absolute objective truth. Right? It's a mathematical certainty. Right? Yeah. No debate. But what happens if I don't feel like two plus two is four? That offends me. You're a bigot racist, you know? It doesn't equal four, you know? And so now all of a sudden you got everybody, you know, that's not a boy, it could be a girl. That's not a girl, that's a boy, you know? They take what they feel. You know, they're they're taking absolute truth and subjectively reinterpreting it. We're in a bible study here. And, if I'm gonna ask you what this means, you should be able to look at words and definitions and come up with a interpretation based upon context and the definition of words. It shouldn't be when you hear, thou shall not steal. That's pretty clear to me. Yeah. But to someone else, it's, oh, it's okay. He was hungry. You know? It's not wrong. That was the right thing to do, you know? And so they walked everyone in the imagination of their evil heart. So the psychiatrist, he's gonna tell you that the reason your behavior is wrong is because you're a victim, because your home life was bad, that you started out being perfect, you started out being innocent and pure. It's the society that ruined you, It's the society. It's your parents and the teachers and the the culture that you grew up in that didn't appreciate your brilliance. Now, you're a mess today because you're a victim, you know? Get away from the toxic people. Let's talk about this and maybe take this pill and, you know, this blah blah blah and try to make them good where the Bible looks you and I and says, you're a sinner. You were shaping in iniquity. And your heart don't follow Oprah's heart. Don't follow your heart. The heart's deceitful above all things desperately wicked. Who can know it? You you can't follow the imagination of your heart. In the book of Judges, there's a phrase there that's fair that describes that four hundred year period of time. Every man did that which was right in his own eyes. Yeah. Mhmm. And that's what we have today. It's existential humanism. It's the bible is not the authority. God is not the authority. We we you know, Noah Yuval Harari says, God's dead. We just haven't buried the body yet. You know? These dreamers, because they reject the truth, God says, I'm gonna judge you by giving you over to a strong delusion that you would believe the lie. These pretenders think that they're going to develop idols that can see and hear and think artificial intelligence and they're going to fashion these idols and human beings merge with machines and they're gonna lie to people say, you're not gonna die. You're gonna live forever. Well, that's the lie that the devil told Adam and Eve in their disobedience unto God. And so, they're gonna do it according to what they feel feeling. Somebody want to sing that song? Did you hear that song sung in in Vegas? And so, there you are. Oh, love let's sing that. No. So therefore, I will bring upon them all the words of this covenant which I commanded them to do, but they did them not. And so, and the Lord said unto me, a conspiracy Are you a conspiracy theorist? You don't believe that Lee Harvey Oswald shot John Fitzgerald Kennedy a lone gunman? There might have been more shooters. George Bush was out there. Right? George Bush just starting out and the CIA was there. Right? What about Robert Kennedy? What about Martin Luther King? How about Jacqueline Kennedy? Jacqueline Kennedy. What about Robert running now? Are they gonna Kennedy him? That's kinda scary. Your conspiracy theory, if you don't believe the official story of nine eleven, You're conspiracy theorist, and that's a that's a methodology born by the CIA to marginalize you, to mock you, to get you to conform to the official narrative. You had to believe the COVID lie and get your jab and wear your mask and walk lockstep with everybody else, lest you be a conspiracy theorist. You know? But now the bodies are dropping like crazy. 600,000 of them, I think I read this morning already, dead, died suddenly, and the media doesn't wanna talk about it. If you talk about it, your neighbor you're a conspiracy theorist. Don't talk about that. You know? So was there conspiracy to kill Jesus? Yes. Did they conspire to kill Jesus? Multiple times. Yeah? Was there a plot to kill Jesus? Yep. Right? These guys are so We can wait. So the Lord said unto me, a conspiracy is found among the men of Judah and among the inhabitants of Jerusalem. What do you think that conspiracy is? Disobey? Yeah. What are they conspiring to do? Children. Read ahead. Read the next few verses. What are they conspiring to do? Wanted to keep being idolaters. Yep. And what else? What are they what are they conspiring? Well, we'll see it later. Well It's part of it. I'll say, so conspiracies found among the men of Judah and among the inhabitants of Jerusalem, they are turned back to the iniquities of their forefathers who refused to hear my words, and they went after other gods to serve them, the house of Israel and the house of Judah, have broken my covenant which I made with their fathers. So the World Economic Forum is conspiring to the great reset to abandon God, get rid of God, and to bring in a new age movement, a mystical new age based upon feelings. And and it so you get away from the absolute truth of God's word and the people are deceived. Joseph Goebel said, you tell them a lie, you've filled them with fear, and you can get them to do anything and believe anything you want them to believe. So you break God's covenant, now you're drifting. You're drifting away because you don't have any truth to to anchor you, to keep you going. He says, verse 11, therefore, thus saith the Lord, behold, I will bring evil upon them which they shall not be able to escape. And though they shall cry unto me, I will not hearken unto them. And so, there is a conspiracy among the leadership, the politicians and the religious leaders and such, to turn away from God, to give in to the idols around them, and to get away from absolute truth and base it more on senses. Much of people going to the church today, it's emotional and the appeal is to your senses. Sloppy little stories that make you cry and tingles and feel good and it's all about the senses but it doesn't minister to your spirit. It doesn't feed your spirit because it's, it's psychology and it's feel good stuff and philosophy. It's not the word of God. And so my job is not to make you feel good. Although Nancy said she's comforted every time she goes to church. So the prophet speaks to edification, exhortation, and comfort. Edification is to build you up. Prophecy is speaking forth the word of God. So a balanced sermon should build you up in your faith. There's also the exhortation, I gotta get you out of your seat. I gotta get you moving. I gotta get you to go and make disciples. That's exhortation. Right? Get you to repent if I can. And then comfort, I gotta after I beat you down and show you you're a sinner and you're a loser, I gotta remind you of the cross. I gotta comfort you that Jesus died for you, that Jesus is your answer, that he'll that he will be your everything, that he's the only winner on the planet, you know? So humble yourself. Get away from your pride that you're better than everybody. Alright. So he says, therefore, thus saith the Lord, behold, I will bring evil upon them which they shall not be able to escape. And though they shall cry unto me, I will not hearken unto them. So, Psalm eighteen forty one, answered them not. If I regard iniquity in my heart, what? I will not hear thee. Psalm sixty six eighteen, if I regard iniquity in my heart, what? I will not hear The Lord will not hear you. So, we as Christians, our prayers can be hindered by sin, unconfessed sin. It's not that he's not listening, he's just ignoring you. He's ignoring you. That's right. For a good reason. Yeah, There's a lot of times I hear people talking to me, but I don't respond. Two: That's true. Speaker I can hear you, but I'm not answering. Right? Took my earplugs out. Took them out. Put my earplugs in. So how tragic that is that we lose that access to God because in Hebrews four, we're told that we can boldly come before his throne of grace. That I don't need to go through a priest. I don't need to go through a man. There's one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus. Right? So I can go directly. I can go directly, and I am also told that Jesus ever lives to make intercession for me. I know that the devil's there. He's there for a while longer. And he's the accuser of the brethren. There's a day where he's gonna be cast out of heaven. Right? Cast down to the earth. But he's able to use the letter of the law to condemn me and to prove to God that I'm unworthy of heaven, that I'm unworthy of eternal life. And if I believe those stupid lies, then I'm gonna live in a, you know, in a in a sense of being condemned and depressed and discouraged and neutralized. But if I know he's a liar, then I can look to the truth of it and find the truth, discover the truth, and realize that since God is for me, who can be against me? Can anything separate me from the love of God that's in Christ Jesus? You know? We're more than conquerors through him that loved us. Right? And why do the Catholics have confession then? Because the priests like to know everything you're doing. Exactly. So they can go lots of about you to the other priests. Right? I can't wait to use it in the sermons when you tell me. Everything's naked and open before whom we have to do. Well, then if there's if you have to confess it to the priest, then how about all the cardinals and the the other people with the bow? Who are they gonna confess to? God, I guess. There is a laity or the sin of the Nicolaitans is a structure of hierarchy in the Catholic church, and God disdains that hierarchy. And so, God's no respecter of persons. All of us have access to him, every single one of us. Every single one. What's that? Come Come boldly. Yeah. We can come boldly because of the cross, because of his blood. But the priests, you know, why did they sell indulgences? Yeah. Mhmm. The word sell is money, profit. Why did they come up with a false doctrine of purgatory? Yeah. Right. Praying people out of purgatory. Money. Money. Right? And and so when I made my first communion, went in there and had to confess to the guy in the box, the whole thing. And I just made a bunch of stuff up because I was so so such such a good kid. And I wanted I wanted the money from my my aunts, you know. I got the red jacket and the and this patch right there and slicked back and this little book. And and so I went in there and he said, alright. Now you go out there and you say three Hail Marys and four Our Fathers. And so you go out there and you get down on your knees and you say those, our father who art in heaven, you know, hail Mary, full of grace, Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women. So you say all that stuff that you've been learning on Tuesday nights that took you away from your baseball practice, you know. You don't understand. And and so it was it's part of a racket. It's part of a religious system, and and there's no basis. Now, if you're a Jew, you might have a bar mitzvah, and you might have tutelage and and religious training, if you will, to learn, you know, the first five books of the Bible. And many many groups, you know, they'll they'll spend their young years actually memorizing vast portions of the old testament, the Jews do. So the apostle Paul was one of those guys. You can have all that knowledge and still not know God. Martin Luther was a priest and he was caught up in all that. And he was climbing the Sistine Chapel on his on his knees and it occurred to him the just shall live by faith. And he stopped. That you can't earn this. You can't work this. You can't get there by being good enough and working and suffering enough and flagations, you know, hitting yourself or any of that kind of stuff, that justification is by grace through faith alone. And that started the Protestant Reformation. So a lot of people saved in the Catholic church that believe in Jesus, and that belief they have in Jesus, that faith they have in Jesus is imputed onto them for righteousness, but there's a whole lot of garbage added to it all around them that they have to sift through, you know. And so, in any event, a lot of one of the things about Calvary Chapel is that a whole lot of ex Catholics came simply because the simple teaching of the Bible. They were never taught the Bible in the years they were in the Catholic church. And the simple teaching of the Bible captivated them, and they just kept coming because they wanna get to know God. And so, that's that's that. Alright. So verse 12, then shall the cities of Judah and the Habitat of Jerusalem go and cry unto the gods, notice little g gods, unto whom they offer incense. So God's saying, when things get dire, when things get difficult, America, and you guys start to come back to the churches and cry out to me, I'm not gonna listen to you. I cried and cried and cried to you for forty years and you wouldn't turn. You wouldn't listen. And that's a terrible thing if you cross a line with God. It's a terrible thing. Go go you know, you go to your central gods. You go ask Oprah. You go ask Biden. You go ask all these people you put your trust in. Ask them to fix the economy. Ask them to provide the food. If you don't see them destroying you right now, you know, they're throwing you under the bus, America. They're destroying your energy, your ability to produce energy. They're destroying your food supply. They're destroying your grid. They're destroying your military. They're destroying your dollar. You don't see it coming, Mariga? You're being suicided. You're being taken down. But who cares? Nobody seems to care. And so you have a false sense of hope. And so go to your little gods unto whom they offer incense, but they shall not save them at all in the time of their trouble. So they're impotent to save. During the tribulation period, that artificial intelligence, the image of the beast, it's not all powerful. Our God's all powerful. Yeah. You know? Our God's omnipotent. They're they're just they're just playing with technology and thinking that everybody's gonna bow down and worship the image of the beast. Oh, wow. You know? Well, God's going to destroy their champion, the Antichrist, with the sword of his mouth and the brightness of his coming. Gone. Done. Armageddon, the blood's going be as high as the horse's bridle as soon as Jesus appears, you know? I mean, that's the champion I wanna follow. And and so, for according to the number, notice the number of your cities where your gods. So Paul, when he went in Acts 17 to Athens, the city was wholly given over to idolatry and just statues and stuff to all the different false deities and all. And he used the launching pad of the unknown god, and he preached he tried to preach Christ under these Epicurean philosophers, and he's quoting and they said, who is this babbler? You know, and he's speaking of the resurrection and all. And according to the number of the streets of Jerusalem, have you set up altars to the shameful thing, even altars to burn incense on the Baal, to Balaam. And so, in Deuteronomy thirty two sixteen and seventeen, a commentary on setting up these idols on the Baal, it says that they're actually offering unto devils, demons. That's what Paul says. The things that the Gentiles sacrifice under their idols, they're actually being tricked by demons. Demons are drawing them in. Therefore, pray not for these people. Can you imagine that? You're a Christian and God says you're Jeremiah and God says, don't even pray for these people anymore. Don't pray for them. That's a dangerous place to be. Neither lift up a cry or a prayer for them, for I will not hear them in the time that they cry unto me because of their trouble. So, now I'm Jonah, and I'm heading over to Nineveh, and I don't want to go to Nineveh. I hate the Ninevites. I'm a patriot. I love Israel. I hate the Assyrians. I hate Ninevites. And so I'm gonna get on a boat and I'm gonna go the opposite way to Tarshish. Right? And when I'm in that boat, the boat hits a storm, and you know the story. I'm thrown over. I'm swallowed by a great fish, and Jesus confirms his story. And then I'm spit out upon shore. I mean, it sure would have been great if God says, I'm not gonna listen to the Ninevites anymore. I'm not gonna listen to their prayers. I'm done with them. But God says, sends Jonah there and with a message of forty days and you're gonna perish. And from the king on down, they all repented. And and Jonah is just so livid. He's so angry. He wanted those people to die, you know? And and here God's saying to his own people, I'm not gonna listen to you. To much is given, much is required. Knowledge brings responsibility. The Ninevites, they had so many kids and animals, didn't know the left hand from the right and all. And they knew enough to know that they were sinners, and they repented in sackcloth and ashes, and God repented of the evil that he was gonna bring on them and gave them a reprieve of over a hundred years. Right? And then later, they were ripened under judgment and judged later. But Jonah, he had no heart. He had no heart at all to reach the lost, to reach these people. And yet, it's the greatest recorded revival in the Bible except for Revelation six and seven, where there's innumerable multitude of people beneath the throne of God who gave up their heads according to Revelation 20 verse four by refusing the mark of the beast. Right? An innumerable multitude of people who said no to the Antichrist, I'm not taking the shot, I'm not taking the ID, I'm not masking, I'm not doing any of that, and I'm willing to die. And so I'm reading about Nigeria. In Nigeria, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and some of the bankers, the World Bank, they are doing a test, a beta test on Nigerians, on Nigeria. They are testing the digital currency, they're testing the digital ID, and they're trying to get all the bugs out of it, everything that's needed to be able to implement it worldwide. And so it's moving forward and you're going to see people be bribed, compensated to tie into this system, and you're going to see people who refuse. Now, when you say, go woke, go broke, you don't say that, right? So they bring to your attention that Target going gay pride this month, lost $9,000,000,000 and you're watching the Dodgers do a gay pride thing and you're watching Chick fil A. Chick fil A was compromised and they're doing it. You're watching the show The Chosen. They're bringing the gay pride stuff onto their set and all that and everything. And you think, you know what, alright, we're going to boycott. We're going to boycott these guys and we're going to make them buckle under and all. Right? Wrong. Larry Fink from BlackRock said, we are influencers. We are going to change behavior. So here's what happens. They're not concerned with the consumer revenue. They want the investment revenue from BlackRock, from the globalists. So they will compromise and do everything they're told to do right now, whether they're Disney or Bush or NAS CAR, the only way they can stay in business is to go to bed with the globalists. That's their investment money. And so they're using money to basically come against God and to promote this this evil to try and break down the Bible, break down Christians, break down the culture, and to ripen ripen the world to a point of implosion. That everything that's holding it together that's good will be imploded. The family, you know, children, schools, churches, implode the whole thing, and then bring forth a demonic reset, a whole demonic system that the Bible talks about. That the Bible tells us that the unholy trinity, the devil being, the counterfeit God the father, the antichrist that counterfeit Jesus Christ, the false prophet, a counterfeit Holy Spirit, that they're gonna be on the scene one day, and the world is gonna be enthralled by them, those earth dwellers, the Bible calls them. And so, we see the beginning of sorrows, the birth pangs of the birthing of the beast system, and we see that. We know, look up, knowing our redemption draws nigh that Jesus is gonna come for us. And so pray not for them. I will not hear them at the time that they cry unto me because of their trouble. And so you and I have access. The Lord says, you're in any kind of trouble, you call, you ask, you seek, you knock. Keep asking, keep seeking, keep knocking. There isn't any sin that you've committed that he's gonna shut the door on you. Right? It's for those sins he died. He invites you to come and confess that sin and he's faithful and just to forgive you that sin, to cleanse you of all unrighteousness. Why? Cause you have a relationship with him. An unbeliever doesn't have a relationship with him, doesn't have access, but you do. And so you can boldly come. Just like my grandkids, they have access. So I will not hear them in this time that they cry unto me because of their trouble. What has my beloved to do in mine house, seeing she has wrought lewdness with many and the holy flesh has passed from thee? When thou doest evil, then thou rejoices. So it's gay pride. It's gay pride month. You do evil and you're lewd and you rejoice. You're flagrantly flaunting your evil out in the streets for children to see and your whoredom and all. And you're flaunting it with your feathers, and your Mardi Gras, and your Vegas stuff, and even some Christians go there and see that stuff, you know? And it's disgusting. If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord doesn't hear me. Rob and Vicky, need to pray for them. They need a Holy Ghost bath. They're in John 13 and they're defiled. They're just the filth is all over them. So they just need the Holy Spirit tonight to just wash away all that Vegas filth. Right? And they don't need to be born again. They're already born again. But they've been defiled, and so I think one of you need to wash their feet. Who wants to wash their feet? Alright. Two: Okay. We need the Holy Spirit. Right. That play soul. What's it say about Lot? His soul was vexed day by day in Sodom and Gomorrah. Right? Day by day vexed and and righteous lot. Oh, yeah. Such a righteous dude. Yeah. Here, take my daughters. Yeah. So so he's not gonna hear them. And they're just incredibly flaunting, flaunting, flaunting the wickedness and the evil. In Genesis six three, it says that, it repented God that he made man because the thoughts of his heart were only evil continually. So God says, alright, I'm gonna destroy the earth with a flood. And, they're murders. They're crazies. They're just nuts. The Lord, in John 11 raised Lazarus from the dead. Now you think that would be pretty good proof that you're the Messiah. Right? God's been dead for four days. Alright. Who wants to read John twelve thirty seven through 40? Okay. John twelve thirty seven through 40. Steven, you're gonna have to get the microphone, Steven. You're gonna be on camera now. And everybody that knows you is gonna be saying, I know that guy. I know that guy. John twelve thirty seven through 40. You want that? K. Take it. K. I'll a few more in a little bit. So let's hear that. So I set you up that Jesus just raised Lazarus from the dead. Now in John 12, what are they doing? They're conspiring to kill Jesus and Lazarus. Now watch what it says here. But thou but though he had done so many miracles before them, yet they believed not on him, that the saying of Isaiah the prophet might be fulfilled which he spake, Lord, who hath believed our report? And to whom have the arm of the Lord been revealed? Therefore, they could not believe because that Isaiah said again, he had blinded their eyes and hardened their heart that they should not see with their eyes nor understand with their heart and be converted and I should heal them. Do you hear that? They could not believe. Ain't that a mind blower? You can reach a point where God not only hears your prayers, but you cannot believe. You've you've hardened your heart so far. Okay. So the gay pride thing. Who has what has my beloved to do in mine house? So, you know, in church or in the temple, seeing she has wrought lewdness with many, and the holy flesh is passed from thee. So you've got the you've got all the sacrifices going on that are holy and you're passing it around. You're making it just a big party. When thou doest evil, then thou rejoices. So you're rejoicing in the evil. You have no shame. You're not ashamed of your sin anymore. You're flaunting it, you know, to everybody in the in the whole gay pride parades and all these different things, and there's just no shame. The Lord called thy name a green olive tree, fair and of goodly fruit with the noise of a great tumult. He has kindled fire upon it, and the branches of it are broken. And so in Romans eleven seventeen through 24, Paul's talking about how God broke off these branches. The nation of Israel was broken broken off, and we were grafted into that true vine. And and so they're broken off that that olive branch. For the Lord of hosts who planted thee has pronounced evil against thee, so he's gonna uproot you. For the evil of your house of Israel and the house of Judah, which they have done against themselves to provoke me to anger in offering incense unto Baal. It's national suicide what they're doing. Have any of you ever seen anything like what's happened in the last three years in America, the national suicide that's taking place? Never. Systematically taken it down, taken America down, step brick by brick. And so many are oblivious to what's happening. And in the church, they don't want to hear about it. I have to say this. I've mentioned this many many many many times. If if Obama gets on television, just the very first part of his voice, evil fills the room. K? Just I don't just immediately evil. Eight years of evil. Christians voted him in. They voted him in. Christians, the church voted that guy in twice. And then, you've got Trump come in. He's got the house, the senate, and the presidency. Right? And he does nothing. Right. Nothing lasting. Nothing that he promised. He didn't arrest anybody. Right now, it sure would be nice if some of these guys would fear being arrested. He didn't arrest anybody. The only people being arrested are the j six people or people did you see that gentleman that was standing in front of an abortion clinic? Pro life shirt on. They beat him up. Beat him up super bad. You know? It's people like us that are being arrested. You know? We're the ones being demonized to be criminals and all. So then you have the fraudulent election and stolen election, And this Biden guy gets in there and he's bumbling and falling. He's doing his job. He's doing a masterful job of what he was appointed to do, is destroy America. He's appointed to destroy America. He's appointed so all the world laughs at America and begins to develop plan b because plan a is falling apart. So we cannot trust in the office of the presidency anymore as a leader, a global leader. He's a nut job. He's he's a laughing he's a clown. And we can't trust in the dollar anymore. We can't trust in the swift system. The whole system, you know, is coming down. They they're spending money, trillions and trillions and trillions of dollars to break the system, to break the dollar. Energy. Total nut jobs with energy. Food. They're destroying their own food. Blowing up all their processing plants. Demonizing like in The Netherlands that farmers are ruining the climate. They just say the lies and everybody's supposed to give into it. So I say all that to say, the other night, last week, I sent you guys a video of Jack Hibbs talking with Eric Metaxas. And Eric Metaxas is the guy that wrote the book on Bonhoeffer and he's the guy that wrote If You Can Keep It. And now he's got a new book, Exhorting the Church to Wake Up. And so in their waking up, they want the church to boycott Target because of gay pride. They want the church to boycott the Dodgers because of the gay pride presentation. They want, the church to be more vocal and wake up and and stand against, you know, the evil $9,000,000,000 target loss, so to speak. Well, I just told you what Larry Fink said. We're gonna use our weight, our money, BlackRock, to change behavior. We're gonna change the behavior of these corporations. So the corporations don't care about the consumers, they care about the investment money that keeps them alive during COVID. All their stores got to stay open. Right? And so anyway, I'm listening to this, and now the pastor is selling hopium. Hopium. You're selling hope. If you see the condition of this country coming down and Biden in there, how are you gonna counteract that? How are you gonna counteract a fraudulent election? How are you gonna counteract the evil that they're doing? What's your what's your solution? How are you gonna give the people hope? So so what they did is they began to talk about president Trump. And they talked about Teddy Roosevelt and they talked about three Supreme Court justices that Trump appointed that are winning some cases and Roe versus Wade reversed and they're talking about all this kind of stuff. And then they say, and Trump was appointed by God And he did really well, you know. And so they're selling hopeium that it's gonna be the second coming of Trump or DeSantis. And if we wake up in time, according to Eric's book, you know, we can get this country back. Now, there's one problem with that that they didn't mention. Well, that's a problem. In 2022, and I sent it to you guys, Trump had a party at Mira Lago, a gay pride party with Carrie Lake from Arizona. And if you look at the political article I sent you, Politico, Trump's in there exhorting the gays and lesbians, the gay pride, LBGTP. We're fighting for your rights. We're gonna get you what you deserve. How could pastors leave that out? There's an inconsistency there. You're selling opium. You're selling this hope that we're gonna get America back, man. You know? You're not even looking at all this stuff that's suicide and you're taking you down. So I anyway, I just I I've been looking for a pastor, one of the big guys, to lead right now. They don't wanna lead. They're they're not truthful. They want the old ways. They want the old days. Peninsula, and the church she goes to, her pastor started talking about what's happening because so many people left the church. He stopped. Yeah. That's what's happening. That's why they won't stopped. That's why they won't. Yeah. He left. Yeah. Many people. So he he stopped. And and there is a there is a another facet of this. We've never been through something like this. And when you have daughters and sons with little kids, this overwhelms them. Absolutely overwhelms them. And they are looking for a place of peace. They don't want to hear about this stuff. They don't want to hear what that guy was telling them. They want to find a place where they can hide out and have relationships and have friends and let the kids play, but they don't want to have to deal with the reality of the fight that we're in and the suiciding of this country. I don't think there's any point in carrying a weapon strapped to your belly, strapped to your side, and walking around a parking lot or bringing it into church and everywhere you go if you're gonna keep your mouth shut. If you're not going to expose the evil, if you're afraid to expose the evil. This is the weapon you need to use. You need to take the word of God and use it to expose the lies. Do your research, make sure you have the facts there, which is Trump had a party at Mira Lago. And it's right there. There's the article. How can you let him slip through and offer a false sense of hopium to people that he's appointed by God. Jeremiah's not a part of a gay pride party right here. Yeah. They're gonna they're gonna conspire to kill Jeremiah right here. When we finish up this section, it's a conspiracy from his hometown in Annotah to kill him. If Trump or, you know, like, RFK, if he runs, somebody was saying that his wife and his daughter were missing for three days. They went hiking. Ross Perot, when he was running against Bush, legend has it that he got a phone call that will kill your daughter if you don't step out of the race because Bush was losing. Politicians, presidents are not elected. They are appointed. And we go through the process of voting and the votes are stolen and counted and blah blah blah blah blah blah blah. And it's a it's a unity party. They're on the same team. Trump is on the same team. If you can if you can handle this, Trump is on the same team as Biden. Trump is on the same team of Obama. But but the church doesn't wanna admit that. They don't wanna admit that. Trump is tied in with the Rothschilds. They bailed him out in Atlantic City when his casinos went bankrupt. Trump is a salesman. You know what he's gonna sell if we even reach the twenty twenty elections, which I don't think we will? He's going to sell national ID, which is being developed in Nigeria right now. Everybody needs an ID. They won't be able to steal the election if we all have a digital ID. We need a digital currency. He's a salesman, and he's going to trick the evangelicals to come into the fold of globalism. So anyway, I'm I'm I'm very saddened to see the the suiciding of America. There are pockets. There are people in a part of this country that are fighting, and they're gonna slow down the putrefaction in their communities. But ultimately, when the economy crashes, it's gonna be the biggest nuclear bomb that's ever hit in our lifetime. Everything's gonna collapse. It's gonna be a domino effect of everything collapsing. And so meanwhile, you're focused on Ukraine, focused on all this other stuff, but that's what's happening. That's the elephant in the room. They're crashing the global economy to roll out the new one. And the Lord verse 18. And the Lord has given me knowledge of it and I know it, then thou showest me their doings. But I was like a lamb or an ox that is brought to the slaughter. And I knew not that they had devised plots against me, saying, let us destroy the tree, with its fruit, and let us cut him off from the land of the living that his name may be no more remembered. So, the plot, the conspiracy is to kill Jeremiah. And he's like a lamb to the slaughter. That word plot there means devices. And so, let's look at some verses here. Who wants Isaiah 53 verse seven? What was it again? Isaiah 53 verse seven. How about second Corinthians two eleven? Okay. How about second Corinthians ten three through five? Anybody want that? Ten three through five. 10 yeah. Ten three through five. And then Revelation two twenty three. Okay. And then how about Matthew ten twenty one through 39? Who's got a really good reading voice? Ten twenty one through 39. Can you please speak into the mic? Can you please speak into the mic? Matthew ten twenty one through 39. Anybody? Okay. Rob's gonna do it. And then Luke four twenty four through 30. You want that? Okay. Luke four twenty four through 30. And then we're gonna finish up with first Peter four twelve through 14. Nancy will do that. No? No. I can, but it's Is it hard? Is it hard? You don't want it? No. I'll take it. Okay. And then first Peter one six through nine. You got it, Vicky? Yep. Okay. So we're gonna look at speaking to Jesus seven hundred years before he was crucified, Isaiah 53 verse seven. 53 verse seven. He was oppressed and treated harshly, yet he never said a word. He was led as a lamb to the slaughter. As a sheep is silent before the shearer, he did not open his mouth. So Jeremiah is saying in verse 19, but I was like a lamb or an ox that is brought to the slaughter. They're conspiring. They're plotting to kill me. Right? They're not going to ask me to be a candidate and be the next something in Jerusalem. Right? He's speaking against the lies of the false prophets. That's why they hate him. And second Corinthians two eleven, Thomas? I've almost got it here. Two eleven. Okay. Ten two. 11. Do you want me to do ten two? Because it's kinda have a problem after. If you want to. To whom do you forgive anything, I forgive also. For if for if I forgive anything to whom I forgive it for your sakes, forgive forgive in the person of Christ. Lest Satan should get an advantage of of us, for we are not ignorant of his devices. So, unforgiveness allows a root of bitterness, allows Satan to strategize to divide and conquer. Right? But the point that I wanna bring out, we're not ignorant of his plots or his devices. Right? We fight not against flesh and blood, but against spirits and principalities. Right? So it's important that we forgive one another as quickly as possible lest that root of bitterness come in and division division comes into the church. Alright. So we're looking at strategy of warfare. They're plotting. They're conspiring to kill Jeremiah. So second Corinthians ten three through five. So they sent for Jerome, and he and all Israel went to Jehovah and said to him, your father put a heavy yoke on us, but now tighten the hard labor and the heavy yoke he put on us, and he will serve you. Lihobang answered, come back to me in three days. So the people went away. Second Corinthians. Oh, it's okay. That was really good. So pretty. Such a good voice. Ten three through five. Sorry for it? There was a reason God had you read that. I'm convicted. For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish argument and every pretension that set itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ. So remember when they were we were talking about every imagination of their heart doing that was right in their own eyes? We have a biblical filter, and we take every thought and every imagination that exalts itself above Christ, Nouvelle Harari, Claus Schwab, Bill Gates, all them, and we bring everything into the filter of God's word to the to the authority of King Jesus and what he has to say. If what they're saying is contrary to absolute truth, Jesus' incarnate truth, then we reject, their wisdom as being a lie. And so the battle the battle, is in the mind and the battle is over truth or deception. And, the devil uses deception and we, know that if we expose, have no fellowship but the unfruitful works of darkness but rather expose it. And so we don't have to do it in the flesh. That's why I don't need the gun at my side to fight this battle right now. I need the truth and to take the sword of the spirit, which is the word of God, and combat the evil with the sword of the spirit. That's why they're working so hard to change the first amendment because they're tired of us catching them in their lies. So they want to censor us and penalize us and put us in jail for contradicting their climate lies, you know, for instance, you know, or their gender lies, you know. They don't want anybody contradicting them. They're so tyrannical presently. Alright. So who's next? Let's see here. Matthew, this is big. This is big. Revelation two twenty three. Revelations two twenty three. I will kill her children with death, and all the churches shall know that I am he who searches the minds and hearts. And I will give to each one of you according to your works. And so vengeance is mine, our pay, saith the Lord. And Jesus has given a progress report on the churches, and he's letting them know there's a day of reckoning. In Matthew ten twenty one through 39. 21 through 39. Brother will betray brother to death. Father will betray his own children, and the children will rise against their parents and cause them to be killed. And everyone will hate you because of your allegiance to me, but those who endure to the end will be saved. When you are persecuted in one town, flee to the next. Will assure you that I, the son of man, will return before you have reached all the towns of Israel. A student is not greater than the teacher. A servant is not greater than the master. The student shares the teacher's fate. The servant shares the master's fate. And since I, the master of the household, have been called the prince of demons, how much more will it have happened to you, the members of the household? But you don't be afraid of those who threaten you, for the time is coming when everything will be revealed. All that is the secret will be made public. What I tell you now in the dark excuse me. What I tell you now in the darkness, shout abroad when daybreak comes. When I whisper you in your ears, shout from the housetops for all to hear. Don't be afraid of those who want to kill you. They can only kill your body. They cannot touch your soul. Fear only god who can destroy both your soul and your body in hell. Not even excuse me. Not even a sparrow worth only 0.5 a penny can fall to the ground without the father knowing it. And the very hairs on your head are all numbered. So don't be afraid. You are more valuable to him than the whole flock of sparrows. So Jesus is promising us that we're gonna have enemies that are gonna wanna kill us. And some of them are gonna be in our own household, our own families. So watch this with Jeremiah. But, oh, Lord of hosts, who judges righteously, who tests the hearts and minds, let me see the vengeance on them for unto thee have I received my revealed my cause. Therefore, thus saith the lord of the men of Anathoth, now this is Jeremiah's hometown, Who seek my thy life saying, prophecy not in the name of the Lord that thou die not by our hands. So Jesus went into the Nazareth and he spoke, and they're trying to grab a hold of him and kill him. You know, isn't this Joseph's son and all that? And he says a prophet isn't without honor. So alright. Now we have Luke four twenty four through 30. Many widows were were in Israel in the day of Elijah when heaven was shut up three years and six months. And there was a great famine throughout all the land, but none of them was Elijah sent except a seraphim in the region of Sidon to the to the woman who was a widow. Verse 27. And many lepers were in Israel in the time of Elijah, the prophet, and none of them were pleased except Naaman, the Syrian. So all those in the synagogue, when they hear this, they will fill with wrath and rose up, thrust him out of the city and rose up and verse 29. And rose up and thrust him out of the That's verse 29. He goes up and thrust him out of the sea, and they led him to blow on the hill on which the city was built, that he might throw him down over the So why are they mad at Jesus? They like their sin. Like their sin? Yeah. In Nazareth. Yeah. In Nazareth. He said, this was fulfilled in your midst. Right. Right. Right. Say, is is this the son of Joseph? Yeah. Is this the son of Joseph? And then he gave an example that you just read of in a time of prior apostasy, Elijah the prophet. There's a lot of prophets in Israel, but the Lord chose a widow of Zarephath to minister unto, a foreign a foreigner, he's saying. And then he says, you know, and there are many lepers in Israel, but the Lord chose Naaman the Syrian to heal. And then they're getting so mad at him. They because he's he's insulting them, you know, and, he's letting them know. And then the interesting thing is they try to kill him, he's invincible. Yeah. They can't kill him. That's why when Pilate says, don't you know I have power to crucify you? Jesus, you don't have any power that that was given you from above, you know. I have power to lay my life down, power to raise it up again. At that point, they're trying to throw him over a cliff. He just walks right on through him. Know? And that's how we are. You're invincible until the point in time the Lord says, you've suffered enough. Come home with me. Right? Come on with me. Right? That's it. Thank you very much. Okay. So so the death threat, the verse 21, therefore, thus saith the Lord of the men of Anathoth who seek thy life saying, prophesy not in the name of the Lord that thou die not by our hands. So if we're told don't prophesy anymore, don't speak in the name of Jesus anymore, if we're thrown in jail, if we're threatened, you're gonna lose this, that, or the other, what are we gonna do? Jesus? What are we gonna do in the book of Acts? What did they say in the book of Acts? We're gonna obey what? Who? God. We're gonna obey god rather than men. Right? They James Lee says, hey. You guys can't meet anymore. You guys can't sing. You can't worship. You can't do communion. Church is not essential. What are you gonna do? Singing. Keep singing. Keep gathering. Why? Because king Jesus is authority. He has greater authority than these puppet guys. Right? He does. We're gonna obey him, and we may suffer the consequences, but it's it's all filtered. So in the book of Acts, they went away rejoicing that they were accounted worthy to suffer for their Lord's sake. Right? Because they got beaten and threatened and they released. Right? Yeah. Alright. Now, the Lord said that you put the nation of Israel through the furnace, the iron furnace. And and here we see, therefore, thus saith the Lord of hosts, behold, I will punish them. The young men shall die by the sword. Their sons and their daughters shall die by famine, and there shall be no remnant of them, for I will bring evil upon the men of Anathoth, even the year of their judgment. So God's saying this is what what's gonna happen. But Peter's reminding us that there may be times where you're public enemy number one like Jeremiah. You're gonna go through these fiery trials. And so what's he say about these fiery trials in first Peter four twelve through 14? You. Take it not strange? First Peter 12 Four. First Peter four twelve through 13. 14. Through 14? Yeah. Okay. Very good. Thank you. Dear friends, do not be surprised at the painful trial you are suffering as though something strange were happening to you. But rejoice that you participate in the sufferings of Christ so that you may be overjoyed when his glory is revealed. If you are insulted because of the name of Christ, you are blessed for the spirit of glory and of God rests on you. So you're privileged. If you're persecuted for his name's sake and you're being going through a trial because you're living a righteous life and you're saying the gospel and you're sharing Jesus with people, you're privileged to represent him. People are reminded of the cross. They're reminded of his suffering. And so you're filling up the sufferings of Christ. Then first Peter one six through nine. Okay. Six through nine. In all this, you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials. These have come so that the proven genuineness of your faith or of greater worth than gold, which perishes even through though refined by fire, may result in praise, glory, and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed. Though you have not seen him, you love him. And even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy for you are receiving the end result of your faith, the salvation of your souls. So Peter's trying to encourage much of the church that's going through persecution and suffering and reminding them of the perspective we had. Like Paul like Paul would say, this light affliction, it's but for a moment, and it's working a far more an eternal weight of glory while we look not on the things which are seen, for the things which are seen are temporal, but we look we're looking and focused on the things that are eternal. Right? Mhmm. And so it's a privilege and a blessing. When we see Jesus, we're gonna be like those guys that come back from the battle, and the guy's gonna say, hey. How'd you get that scar there? Well, I I got that, you know, when I was whatever, and oh, look at this one, and oh, look at this one, you know. You have some battle wounds, you have some things to show of what you went through, you know. And so it's it's for his glory. You you're filling up the Paul says, I bear in my body the marks of the Lord Jesus, and that word marks is stigmata. It's the the wounds that Jesus received upon the cross. Paul's saying, I bear in my body the marks. Paul Paul has scars on his back from being, you know, whipped and cat of nine tails and rods and all these different things. So you're able to, if we suffer with him, Romans eight says, we'll also be glorified together with him. Yes. So it's gonna be it's gonna be exciting to be there and to know that our faith didn't fail. When the son of man comes, will he find faith on the earth? You know? And and as we go through these things now, Jeremiah, he's being told here what the plot is, the cons conspiracy against him. Now, in chapter 20, he's grabbed hold of and thrown in a pit, a miry pit, and it so blows his mind. Like, a lot of us aren't ready for the type of trials that are coming. I hope and pray we're raptured because we ain't seen nothing yet as America's coming down. And but the Lord, with these trials we have been going through, the things that you've experienced physically, economically, relationally, all those things, are preparing us for what's up ahead. Jeremiah is being prepared. The Lord's letting them know. In chapter 20, Jeremiah is so fit to be tied. He's so angry. He curses and I'm never gonna speak in your name again. You know, you got the wrong guy, you know. And I told you when you said that I'm a prophet that you got the wrong guy, you know, in chapter one. And he doesn't appreciate it at all. And he says, and I tried to refrain but God's word was in me like fire within my bones and I could not refrain. So he had to do what God called him to do. And so many of Jesus' disciples in John six no long and it says disciples. Many of his disciples no longer walked with him. Not worldly people, disciples, people that were learning, people that were part of church, part of what he was saying, he was doing in John six, feeding the people, the loaves and the fishes and all. Right? And then he turns to the 12 and he says, are you gonna leave me also? And they say, where are we gonna go? You have the words of eternal life. Right? Where are we going to go? Where are we going to go, gang? We've been in the world. The world doesn't satisfy. There's no going back to the world. So when people are saying, I got to get back to normal. Where where can I flee to? Can I go to Cuba? Can I go to Guatemala? Can I go to you know, where can I go to find what we used to have? You know? It's gone. It's gone. The whole world is being suicided. God, according to Revelation seventeen seventeen, he's put it in the hearts of these globalists, these demons, to fulfill his will. The stage is being set for the second coming of Christ. That's that's what's happening. And except those days be shortened, no flesh would be saved. But for the nation of Israel's sake, the elect's sake, they're gonna cry out, blessed is he that comes in the name of the Lord. Jesus is gonna intervene and save that remnant there. But you and I, the church, I I really don't think we're going to see the entirety of the collapse of America. I believe that the rapture of the church is gonna be the final nail in the coffin of America. There's gonna be a domino, domino, domino, domino. The birth pangs are happening and when the church is taken out, because you guys are the ones that do all the work. You guys are the ones that play by the rules. You guys are the ones that are preserving influence The parasites live off of you. Once you're taken out, they don't want to work. They don't want to produce. They want universal basic income. They want to smoke their dope. They just want to cruise. They want someone to take care of them. So once that's gone, once you're gone, there's going to be no resistance to the evil. The evil's going to ramp up and be on steroids and going to be taken down very rapidly. So just our voice being salt and light, the restrainer, the restraining influence of the Holy Spirit working through the church is slowing down the corruption. Mhmm. But when we're taken out, holy smokes. Mhmm. You know, I don't want to be here. Yeah. So anyway, Jeremiah, he had to be there. He didn't get raptured. And he had to endure all these crazy apostate unbelievers. And he kept telling them, tell them, surrender to Nebuchadnezzar. Surrender and it'll go better for you. And every time he tried to tell the truth and wake people up, the false prophets would whisper in the king's ear, everything's going to continue as it always has. Jeremiah doesn't know what he's talking about, you know? So Yeah. He's a conspiracy theorist. Exactly. Vicky That's right, Vicky. Yeah. And and so that you're marginalized. And and so what what they do doesn't matter. We just need to be faithful, and the Lord will do what he's gonna do. Our job is just to be faithful. Cathy and I, all we're concerned ourselves with, are we in God's will today? Are we being faithful to what God's called us to do? And that's all you can't do any more than that. You know? You you can't fix the political system. You know? There's gonna be an emphasis in Kitsap County to try and be as active as we can in the next election cycle to preserve our little community as much as we can, sheriffs, things like that. But our job is to occupy till he comes, share the gospel, get as many people saved as we can. And but don't, don't, don't, don't give in to the hopium. Don't give in to the false hope that the false prophets are gonna bring. They're gonna counteract the Jeremihos. They're gonna try and make people think that here's a safe place for you to hang out till we get rid of all these evil people. It's not never gonna happen. You're not getting rid of them. And only Jesus is gonna be able to get rid of them. Alright. Father, we thank you. And I just thank you so much for the Bible study. I thank you so much for the people that love your word and love to worship, love to fellowship and pray. And, Lord, I thank you that the handwriting's on the wall. You're coming soon. And, America's been weighed in the balance and found wanting. And, Lord, prophetically, America's not mentioned in the scriptures. This superpower has to go away so all these other nation states can give up their sovereignty and go into a 10 toe, a 10 king, a 10 part world government, and a world economic system, and a world religion, Lord. And so I thank you, Lord, for the run that we've had. I thank you for the church age, this age of grace that we've been able to go and make disciples. And Lord, we're just thankful that we're at the end of the age and that you're coming soon, Maranatha, even so, come quickly, Lord Jesus. In your name we pray. Amen. Amen. Alrighty.
