Jeremiah 11
Pastor Rick Beaudry walks through Jeremiah 11, unpacking God’s covenant with Israel, the blessings tied to obedience and the curses that follow idolatry, and how the nation’s history from exile to Josiah’s reforms reveals the cost of turning from God. He contrasts the old covenant’s emphasis on doing with the new covenant’s emphasis on trusting Christ, warns that deception and sexual immorality sap the church’s witness, and urges us to pursue holiness and discernment. Beaudry draws contemporary parallels to cultural and political decline, conspiratorial attacks on truth, and the rise of hostile systems, while calling believers to faithful witness even amid persecution. The message closes with pastoral encouragement to endure suffering as sharing in Christ’s sufferings and to remain steadfast, looking for His return.
