Philippians 2:25,30 -A Soldiers Homecoming- Pastor Rick Beaudry 2026-10-04
Pastor Rick Beaudry preaches from Philippians 2:25-30, using the figure of Epaphroditus as a model of a faithful soldier of Christ who risked his life for the gospel and deserves a "soldier's homecoming." He draws parallels between Paul's spiritual warfare imagery in Ephesians 6 and the daily battles believers face, urging listeners to stand firm, put on the full armor of God, and share the gospel boldly. The message also touches on the themes of suffering, sickness, perseverance, and God's mercy, reminding us that true joy and eternal reward come through faithful service. The sermon closes with an invitation for anyone who does not yet know Jesus to receive Him and a prayer for boldness to stand against evil and reach the lost.
