Philippians 2:12-18 -His Good Pleasure- Pastor Rick Beaudry 2026-09-20
Pastor Rick Beaudry expounds Philippians 2:12-18, calling us to work out our salvation with fear and trembling because God is at work in us to will and to do of his good pleasure. He outlines six byproducts of living for God pleasure: joyous progress, joyous power, joyous peace, joyous purity, joyous preaching, and the privilege of sacrificial service. Using biblical examples from Joseph to Peter to Noah and historical testimonies, he urges cooperation with the Holy Spirit, steadfast obedience, and a life that shines as salt and light amid cultural pressures. The message opens with intercessory prayer for congregants and concludes with a challenge to remain faithful, bold, and sacrificial for the sake of Christ.
