Please stand with me as we read God's holy word together. Ephesians chapter six verse sixteen and seventeen this morning. Above all, taking the shield of faith wherewith we, you shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked and take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the spirit, which is the word of God. So father, we thank you for your holy word and we thank you, Lord, that we're, not just targets for the wicked one, Lord, that we can stand, that we can withstand, that we have armor that we can wear, we have the help of your Holy Spirit. And, Lord, we haven't been left as orphans. You're a a Lord Jesus, you are our great high priest. You ever lived to make intercession for us. And Lord, you've given us the comforter, the Holy Spirit that's given us gifts, and and Lord is teaching us as we study your word and emboldening us and helping us, Lord, to walk this walk of faith. And, we thank you for the apostle Paul and his experience being chained to a Roman soldier and seeing the metaphor, seeing the picture, the spiritual armor that we're able to put on, that we're able to withstand, stand, and doing everything to remain standing, Lord. And so we pray in these last days as the battle intensifies, Lord, that we would be a people, Lord, that are prepared and ready and, not retreating and not AWOL, but, Lord, bringing glory and honor unto you and knowing that the battle belongs to the Lord, that you're ready to fight for us, Lord. So bless, we pray now. Pour out your holy spirit and be our teacher. In Jesus' name, pray. Amen. Would you please be seated? Warren Wiersbees quoted as saying that Christianity is a battleground, not a playground. If you're chained to Roman soldier and you're going through, you know, martyrdom in Nigeria presently and other places around the world where being a Christian means you're a, you know, you're a you're a marked man or a woman simply for your belief system, simply for believing in Jesus, and your unwillingness to say, Al Akbar, you can be chopped to pieces in Nigeria by the Islamic groups that are there and such. And so Paul told Timothy to a young pastor that Paul was grooming. Paul said Timothy was like minded, and he was trying to help Timothy. Timothy eventually would be the pastor of Ephesus. Paul spent three years in Ephesus planting that church, and history tells us that as Timothy was the pastor there, that Timothy spoke up against the feast, the festivities of greatest Diana of the Ephesians, which was a sexual cult type thing. And you remember the apostle Paul for the space of two hours, you know, the people were shouting out, great is Diana. Great is Diana. And the silversmith gave Paul much trouble, and the guild that was building these shrines, building these little idols to Artemis, to the sexual stimulation type things that they had. And Paul was refuting that as a religion and exposing it. Well, Timothy did the same. Timothy spoke up against their festival, and tradition tells us that he was taken out and beaten to death. So Paul is preempting. Paul's getting Timothy ready for the fight. Remember that we're invincible, and not one hair of our head can be touched until that point in time that the Lord says, alright, you're coming home through martyrdom. I'm gonna let these guys beat you to death. In second Timothy two verse three, Paul said, endure hardness as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. So it really wouldn't work today where the pastors are saying, you have your best life now. Right? Yeah. You're not you don't have the right mindset that you're a soldier and, you know, and ready to fight until, all that stuff's exposed as cotton candy, as, just smoke and mirrors. And then you finally realize there's a a depth of growth that takes place by being tested and going through these trials. And as Paul said, we fight not against flesh and blood, but against spirits and principalities of the air. And so we recognize the spiritual battle that's taking place that's coming against our wives, our children, our husbands, our families, our community, and we we don't want to be defeated. We don't even wanna be neutralized where the devil leaves us alone. We wanna be a threat to the kingdom of darkness to stand, to withstand, to bring glory and honor unto the Lord. And so Paul, in first Timothy six twelve, he says, fight the good fight of faith. Lay hold on eternal life. The fight of faith, you know, you can start out believing. And, Theotrophes, John said, love the preeminence. Paul said that, the people that he started with in the second Timothy chapter four were no longer there, but the Lord stood with me. So a lot of people start in the fight, but as the fight intensifies, many people opt out and they look for places to hide and places to be comforted rather than be engaged in the battle and go toe to toe. And so I'm just so thankful that my wife, Kathy, that for thirty one years that we've been here and even before that, that we didn't know we didn't know that the Lord was gonna put us in a fight like this. We didn't know that we were gonna be planting a church and be in the ministry and all. And, a lot of people that we started with aren't in the ministry anymore. Many had fallen over the years. But, I'm so thankful that I get to, wake up each Sunday morning and climb into the van and on Saturdays preparing and through the week preparing and, know that, we're in God's will and that, you know, there's opposition. There's there's, opposition against anybody that wants to bring forth God's word and truth. But, she's willing to fight the good fight of faith to lay hold on eternal life. It's it's amazing amazing battle. Second Timothy four verse seven, Paul is able to look at his life and said, I fought, in the past tense, I fought a good fight. I fought a good fight. Now sometimes when you're watching, you know, wrestling or UFC or or boxing, if that's your thing, Paul would, see the Romans, and he'd see the Greeks in the Ithmian Games, kinda like the Olympics. And he was he was, you know, enamored with the the skill skill set of many many today, women also. I mean, they've got a kick, a roundhouse kick that can knock you out so quick, these women. And, they're not as adept at striking as the men are, their upper body strength, But that kick that kick that kick could take out anybody. Ruthie hit me with one the other day, a couple weeks ago, and, I was wondering, man, where did she learn that? And, apparently, it was from Evie. Evie uses them against her brothers, and so it it'll it'll surprise you, that roundhouse. But, Paul said, I fought a good fight. And, the fight of faith, and I finished my course. So he uses a imagery of boxing, and he says, don't shadow box. I don't just beat the air. If I'm gonna punch, I wanna hit, you know, what I'm what I'm aiming at, you know. And, and and then he uses the metaphor of a marathon run. You know, I finished my course. I stayed within the lanes. I fought according to the rules, lest I be disqualified. So Paul, a victorious Christian soldier, tells us how. How can I be successful in this battle? And if you look at Paul's list of different ways that he was, you know, beat down by the wicked one, whether it be shipwrecked or, stoned or hit with clubs, hit with cat o' nine tails, famine and peril, and and all the huge list of things, you know, And and then a messenger of Satan to buffet him. He experienced, like many of us do, physiological problems, mental problems, emotional problems. And, and how did he get through it? How was he victorious? He kept walking by faith. He did not give into the temptation to doubt God and to quit on God and to walk away from the fight. And so, Jeremiah had a hard time. And in chapter 12, the Lord of Jeremiah, the the Lord told Jeremiah, Jeremiah, if you're weakened, if you're wimping out in the time of the foot soldiers, you know, because the preliminary aspects of battles of the foot soldiering, but what are you gonna do when the horses and the chariots come? So God was not giving in to Jeremiah's cry to stop the fight. Stop the fight. You know, make it easier. Make it easier. Let me find a church where life is easy, where everything goes my way. He said, you ain't seen nothing yet. You bet you better you better get ready because it's gonna get tougher, Jeremiah, you know. And maybe the Lord speaks to you in that way, and and you you're learning what it what it is to die to self and allow Christ to live through you. So Paul tells us how. Verse 11, he says, put on the whole armor of God that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. I hate to go into battle and realize there's no ammo in my mag. There's no ammo. I'm out of ammo. What am I gonna do? I'm out of ammo. And I would hate to be in battle in that way. I would want to prepare ahead of time and make sure that everything is in a working order before I get into battle. I wanna make sure my my, you know, walkie talkies, my communications, everything's working. I'll make sure that all everybody that's helping me, everybody that's a part of this battle is helping a church. There's no solo. No pastor does this alone. There's gotta be people praying. There's gotta be people in the front lines, people behind the lines. When David went after the Amalekites, the the, those that at Ziklag, they took all their family members and all, and Amalekite let David know where where the families were. There were 400 that went into battle and 200 stayed back with the stuff. And so there's always those that have to stay back with the stuff and help with the families and the daily routine and all that. And then sometimes those get sent out, you know, into battle, and the Lord gave David every single person, every wife, every son, daughter, everybody was brought back. But before that, his mighty men were weeping till they couldn't weep anymore, and they were thinking about just like the people did with Moses, we need to stone David. We need to kill David. David's responsible for this. David's bad leadership's led us into this battle, and we've been so defeated, you know, and so dejected. And then you see David. Where'd he go? Did he get some encouragement from anybody? No. David went and got alone with the Lord. And it says, and the Lord encouraged him as he got alone with the Lord. And then the Lord let David know, David, I'm gonna give you the victory. I'm gonna give you every single one of them back. You know? And then when they got the stuff, when they got everything back, and then they got all the spoil from their enemies, you know, the the the some of the mighty men, some of the soldiers said, well, you know, we'll give them their wives and children back, those that stayed with the stuff, but they don't get the the splendor of the spoils. And David says, no. Those that stay with the stuff and those that go into battle share alike. So it's a picture when we go to heaven, some of us can't be engaging the enemy on the front lines, but you can pray, and you can support, you can give, and you can serve behind the enemy lines. No soldier goes to war at his own expense. So you know, as you send your sons, your daughters, your people into battle, that you know that they're supported. You know that they have the right clothing, the right armament, the right ammo. You would definitely not wanna send them into battle without the proper training and without the proper, you know, armament. So too, we as Christians, and especially as a pastor, I don't want you to face the battle ill equipped, unaware, unable. I don't wanna lie to you and try to give you a false sense of security in the days and weeks ahead, or even at judgment when you face the Lord and he says, away from me, I never knew you. I want you to be stirred to the very core of your being, to examine yourself to see whether you're in the faith or not. Some of you, some of those who have been here may not even be saved. So I'm not gonna water it down. I'm not gonna make it soft so that you don't realize the the battle that's raging against your soul. The devil would love to lie to you and say, hey, you're fine. You're fine. You stay in that adulterous affair. You stay in that porn habit. You stay in that drug habit. You stay in that alcohol problem. You stay in that covetous role you're in thinking you're you know, that you're increased with goods means you're holy. And one day you hear the Lord say, away from me. I never knew you, you that practice iniquity. You got all the Christianese down. You got all the name dropping down. You got all the the stories down, the little, you know, Pinocchio type stories that they say in church nowadays. But little nursery rhymes and stuff, but it didn't embolden you, didn't strengthen you, it didn't prepare you for the battle, and you didn't have a sense of reality. Paul's given us a sense of reality. And so the belt, the breastplate, and the boots are on. Now we see the shield of faith, verse 16. So above all, which means in addition to, so you've got these three on, the belt, the breastplate, and the boots. In addition to taking the shield of faith wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked, and that wicked is the wicked one. The devil is behind this. He's the one that's using the demons and different ranks of demons and and fallen angels that are wreaking havoc upon you, and they can't be, they're not omniscient, they don't know everything, but they have a great intel. They're able to gather intel. They are not omnipresent, they can't be everywhere. Satan can't be everywhere. He's a fallen angel. But there's a myriad of one third of the stars fell with Lucifer, so they have basic grids that they're responsible for. So if we looked at Daniel 10, we see that Daniel is praying for twenty one days and that the the prince of Persia and the prince of Greece were holding, you know, Michael and Gabriel and the other angels back. And, but they had designated regions, designated places that the prince of Persia of Iran, was battling. And Daniel was in Babylon, and Daniel was wanting to, get an answer from the Lord, and the, Medes and the Persians had wiped out, the Babylonians in Daniel chapter five with Belteshazzar. So Daniel was under the the, in subjection unto Cyrus and Darius and all, but he's praying and he's asking God for direction, and God's gonna give him direction. But, it took twenty one days because of the battle that he couldn't see in the spiritual realm. And a lot of times, you and I are wanting an answer quickly, and the answer is not coming back quickly. And so we learned, as we'll see next week, to persevere to persevere in in prayer. Even though with our senses, we don't see any changes, by faith, we continue to act in a way that we know is right and that is persevering and and that is, that the devil hates a saint that's on their knees praying. And, would love to get you distracted and off of your knees and off of prayer and get you distracted on your phone and all of the sorts of ways that that we're distracted nowadays. And so this shield of faith was like a small door. In the Greek here, it's not a little one. It's not the circle one. It's the great big one that looked like a door that was interlocking. So sometimes you watch in different movies and all, and you can see the Romans in battle, and they would lock their interlocking. And then the enemy would hurl these fiery darts, these arrows that they dip in in pitch and then light them and all, and it gonna intimidate and cause the soldier to be afraid and to move his to move it, but don't move it. Interlock those babies, and when they're coming down, you know, you'd be able to, withstand the fiery darts. And so the devil's lobbying fiery darts. He's shooting fiery darts. So today in in in warfare, think of being a soldier, being on one of the ships, and they put a swarm of drones. A huge swarm of drones is coming at you like locusts. You know, what are you gonna do? How are you shielded from that? With the iron dome, is there technology that can knock those out of the sky? Like in Israel, we see them knocking, you know, the individual rockets and things down. But when there are drones and all, we're hoping and praying that they come up with the EMP technology to render those those drones, inoperable, knock out their electronics, you know, very quickly. Because how are you going to stop all those drones coming through? And, you try to use a multimillion dollar weapons to go after a $200,000, you know, drone or a $60,000 drone, and it's it's it's it's, you know, it's it's causing it to go broke in comparison. So, but these guys have the shields, and they're like doors, a small door, and they're about two and a half feet wide and four foot high. They're interlocked to shield from the flaming arrows. And so why the shield of faith? I'm only vulnerable if I drop my shield, if I don't believe. So it's the shield of faith or the faith, and you've gotta keep the faith. When I was growing up in Southern California, I'd watch on channel two, think it was. And Jim Hill, I'd watch sports, and he'd always end the segment, keep the faith. I like that. Keep the faith. Don't don't get away from the faith. Keep the faith. Keep believing. One thing to start out believing, it's another thing to finish believing. So our basic trust in God is what's spoken of here. And, the just shall live by his faith, God told Habakkuk in Habakkuk two four. On Habakkuk chapter one, God told Habakkuk, the prophet Habakkuk that, Habakkuk, I'm gonna do a thing that if I told you what I'm gonna do, you wouldn't believe me. And what God was gonna do is God was gonna use these Babylonians who were fierce, and their their horses were at the speed of leopards and all. They were very adept and very good at warfare. And, in May, ultimately, the Lord used these Babylonians to destroy Jerusalem, to take it out. And, Habakkuk the prophet is hearing this, that God's gonna use these nasty, mean, terrible Babylonians as an instrument of judgment against his own people. And, and Habakkuk was just just blown away. Like, how could we're evil, Lord. We're bad, but these guys are really bad. They're really bad, Lord. And, we're your chosen people. Why would you use these guys and allow that to happen? And so Habakkuk's mulling it over. He's thinking it through. He says, I'm a watchman on a watchtower, and I'm watching. I'm waiting for an answer from God. And, God told Habakkuk, Habakkuk, a man's, heart that's lifted up isn't isn't right. The just shall live by his faith. So the just, those who are right, they're gonna have to trust me. You're gonna have to keep trusting me. That this that which I'm doing, I'm gonna continue with my plan for Israel. But in the interim here, in the disobedience and in this rebellion against me, I'm gonna use a chastening hand upon the nation of Israel to to purify a remnant. And so for seventy years, the children of Israel would go into Babylon, and a small little remnant would come back out and and rebuild the temple in the second temple period. And now God always has a believing remnant, but it's time for God to judge his own people, and he's gonna use the Babylonians in that way. And so who what is Daniel to think? What is Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego? What are what is that believing remnant of Ezekiel and Habakkuk and Hosea and all of them? What are they to do? They're continue to believe. They're gonna have to walk by their faith. They're gonna have to continue to walk by faith. And what has God challenged in your life? What is he challenging you with? What attack is the enemy making against you? Your faith is the most per precious, most precious thing that you and I possess is the faith that God's given us. You take away my faith and I'm undone. It's over. I I I'm done. If if the devil were able to steal my faith or if I were to willingly give up my faith in Jesus, where do I go from there? There's there's nothing left. I've tasted. I've seen that the Lord is good. Where am I gonna go? He has the words of eternal life, you know. In John six, Jesus fed the people with the loaves and the fishes. And it says he used the word disciples, and many of his disciples no longer walked with him. These aren't fringe people. Right? These are disciples. These are church goers. They're there for the loaves and the fishes, the happy meals and all. And they're just really happy, but Jesus let them know that you're gonna have to love me and come to me for me. You're gonna have to eat my flesh and drink my blood. You're gonna have to be an intimacy here and all. And it says that many of his disciples no longer walked with him. And he turned to the 12 and he said, are you gonna leave me also? And they said, where are we gonna go? You have the words of eternal life. And that's what it's like to be bought. That's what it's like when the Lord purchases you, when he grabs hold of you, and he makes himself known to you, you will never be the same again. Your life is that old life is gone, and you have that new life, and you know that this world before ignorance was bliss, you didn't know the Lord, and you were searching for truth. But once he invaded that comfort zone of yours, once he invaded, once he made himself known, and he grabbed hold of you, and he gave you a love, and loved you with a love that you've never been loved with ever before, and he satisfied that longing deep within your heart. And you go through the honeymoon experience where everything's great, everything's wonderful, and then you pray a stupid prayer. Lord, make me like a Christian that's loves you and praises you in the midst of the trials, because this is so easy, Lord. You're just before the prayer even gets out of my mouth, you're blessing me. And now you recognize just, you know, there's gotta be some depth. There's gotta there's gotta be, you know, a means of expressing my love back toward you. And so the Lord uses trials, doesn't he? And as we go through trials and testing, our heart is being revealed, not to God, but he already knows your heart. He's showing us our own hearts. And how many times when we're faced with these trials, how quickly we believe the lies of the wicked one that God doesn't love me. And that God's doing this to me because I did something bad. And what happened? What happened to the honeymoon? What happened to the enormous grace? Great grace being poured out upon us and and all. Why why now? What changed? You know? So you search your heart and you're looking for sin. You're looking for sin in the camp. You're looking for something that changed God's, you know, movement in your heart and life because every message you hear is how much God wants to bless your life. Very seldom do you hear a message about trials and having to trust God through those trials, through the difficulty. And if I am suffering, it must mean I did something wrong. Well, now you gotta analyze Job. What did Job do wrong? God was bragging on Job. No. In many cases, the reason you're going through this trial is because you're doing something good. And the devil wants to come in and challenge you and and disarm you and cause you to lose your faith and to curse God and die, as Job's wife said. Why do you maintain your integrity? You know? Why don't you curse God and die? And Job says to his wife, you speak as a foolish woman speak. Shall I not receive good at the hand of the Lord, not evil? And in all this, Job sinned not with his lips. Well, skin for skin, all that a man has will he give for his life. And so all of his stuff's taken, his health's taken, and still Job maintained his integrity. That's you. That's you showing the devil and all the principalities and powers, showing all your friends and family never and they treat you like you're a leper. They don't wanna catch it. Nobody wants nobody wants to live like Job. Nobody wants to go through that. So you're the leper. And the reason though and the way they calm their mind is, he must have done something wrong. Why do these bad things always happen to you? A pastor's wife asked my wife at a pastor's conference. And why would a pastor's wife even ask that question? You know why. Because we stepped up, we stepped forward, and said, Lord, here am I. Send me. Now you're a target. Now the enemy wants to discourage you and stop you and neutralize you and keep you from from sharing the glorious good news to people that their faith would be strengthened, that they would come to faith. And so the shield of faith, you're not alone. You've got other soldiers there side by side, and you interlock this this this shield there to combat the fiery darts. And so faith is our basic trust in God. The just shall live by faith. In Romans one seventeen, Paul said one sixteen, I'm not ashamed of the gospel of Christ for it is the power of God unto salvation To everyone that believes, to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. For therein is the righteousness of God, where? In the gospel, the righteous righteousness of God is revealed. From faith to faith as it is written, the just shall live by faith. Paul's quoting Habakkuk two four. Now Paul uses it again in Galatians three verse eight, where or three eleven, excuse me, where the church of Galatia was starting to go back into legalism. They were starting to be persuaded by Judaizers that, you know, maybe the Gentiles should be circumcised and all. And Paul's saying that's a different gospel. And if if even if an angel were to come to you, the angel Moroni and Brill to, you know, present a different gospel, let him be anathema. That's a that's a false gospel. Because in Galatians three eleven, he says, by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified. You can't be justified by the works of the law. There's no way. The intention of the law is to stop every mouth to make everybody guilty. No. The just shall live by faith. So Paul quotes it again. And then he quotes it a third time in Hebrews ten thirty eight, since I believe Paul's the writer of Hebrews. Maybe not, but the writer of Hebrews quotes it again. And here's what was happening. The Hebrew believers, the Hebrew Christians were falling back into Judaism. And they're falling back into Judaism so as to avoid persecution from the Judaizers, from the Jews. And so Paul says, in Hebrews ten thirty eight, he says, those who draw back, you're drawing back. It's a form of apostasy. You're falling away from the faith. You know better, but you're falling back. God takes no pleasure in those who draw back. Pay close attention to that word, pleasure. God takes no pleasure. Don't you wanna be pleasurable to God? Do you want God to be pleasing, to be pleased with you? So Paul says he takes no pleasure in those who draw back, but the just shall live by faith. And then what's he do? He goes into chapter 11. And in chapter 11, he says, faith is the evidence of things hoped for, the substance of things not seen. You don't have it yet, but you believe. You've got the title deed. It's in your heart. And then he goes down to verse six, and he says, without faith, it's impossible to please God. For they that come to him must believe that he is, and that he's a rewarder of those who diligently seek him. And then what's he doing the rest of the chapter? By faith. By faith. By faith. By faith. By faith. By faith. By faith. By faith. He goes through Abraham and Moses and and Sarah and Jephthah and Gideon and David and all these heroes in the hall of faith. Those who pleased God because they believed in God, because they kept believing in God. And Paul's saying, man, don't drop that shield of faith. Don't let any fiery arrows take you out. Don't believe the lies, the fiery lies of the wicked one seeking to condemn you and try and convince you that God doesn't love you, that you're not special unto God, and that he's not gonna complete that work that he's begun in you. Don't believe it. The devil's using deception against you. And these fiery darts, they come into your mind. They come into your mind, and the devil's wanting to use the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eye, and the pride of life to destroy you. One to wipe you out. And you've gotta resist. You've gotta take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ. You gotta be a man, a woman of the word to counteract the lies of the wicked one. He can't deceive you because you know God's word. Thy word have I hid my heart that I might not sin against you. You have the Holy Spirit helping you, bringing to remembrance the word of God to counteract the lies of the culture in which you're living. You're made in the image of God. You're special. You have God given inalienable rights the founders of your country recognize. These are not privileges derived from a government or technocrats moving forward. These are your God given inalienable rights because you've been made in the image of God, and you've been made for the purpose of giving him pleasure. And you cannot please him if you don't have faith. And then we think of the lapse of faith. We look at Abraham. We look at Sarah. We look at David. We look at these guys in the hall of faith, and somebody's edited out their failures. There's no record of wrong. There's no record of Abram going into Egypt and telling Sarah, tell him you're my sister because you're such a knockout, you know? You're so beautiful. They're gonna wanna kill me because you're so beautiful. They wanna take you from me. And then he does it again with the Philistines. And then if that ain't enough, his son does it. Isaac does it in the area of the Philistines. Crazy. So easy. We can be so filled with fear. Fear is the opposite of faith. We can be so controlled by fear in the media and all the lies that come forth, and we drop our guard. We drop our faith. We take the shield, we put it down, and we begin to trust in man. We trust in a doctor. We trust in guys parading themselves on television. The so called science, trust the science, trust the experts. Now, don't misconstrue. Don't misunderstand. Doctors, many doctors are a gift from God, and they're keeping your life going so that you can serve the Lord a little bit longer. Physiologically, men, doctors have come up with medicines that keep your body pumping and going, and all that other sorts of thing. But you also have to understand that although television can be good in some regards, television, media, Facebook, all of it can also be used as evil. If the objective of the wicked one is population reduction, which means to murder, to genocide people, then it would appear that the COVID that was released and then the subsequent warp speed jab was presented by doctors, sold by doctors, and we trust doctors. In that case, we'd have to say no. I'm not gonna trust the ventilator and the remdesivir. I've done my intel, I've done my due diligence, and I'm hearing that these are killing people in record numbers. I'm not gonna take the jab. I'm not gonna give my children the vaccine with the timersol, the mercury adjunct that causes five thousand percent increase in autism in children. That's where you don't trust them. But you break your break your arm and you go and have it reset, you trust the doctor. They're good at that. And get all the pain meds and everything you can. But when it's subjective, when it's simply they're selling you pharmaceuticals because you're depressed, and they've got the pill that'll make you not depressed, and they've got the pill that'll make you whole and happy and you're happy pills and all, and your brain chemistry is being altered. And then later, years later, you find out it was all a farce. It was all fraud. They can't measure it. There's no test to measure serotonin imbalance. And that whole Prozac and that whole thing was a scheme to just make lots of money and to mobilize people to make them so they could be like Nazi soldiers. Your spouse would be going through cancer, dying, you never shed a tear. You're incapable of having emotions anymore because you're so jacked up on on the pharmaceuticals. And, you know, it it's no different than when I was an unbeliever and you deal with life, my whole family, with alcohol or drugs. You're self medicating. You can't handle life. Why can't you handle life as a Christian? Where's your faith? Oh, pastor, I got plenty of faith. This is physiological. No. It's not. It's not diabetes. It's not physiological. You were lied to. It's in your head, and you need to resist it. It's real. Depression, discouragement's real, but how do we deal with it? By faith. We continue to walk by faith. We continue to trust God. Again, we analyze our life and we're in the clouds. I need some sunshine. I need some good food. I need rest. I've been up for three days. Well, you should be discouraged. You should be depressed being up for three days. You've got sleep deprivation. That'll make you crazy. Take a walk. Eat right. Sleep right. Don't be up all night on the on on the Internet not getting any sleep. Crazy things go on. Go to the gym. Get some dopamine going. Work out vigorously three, four times a week. Allow your body to to overcome the lethargy, the pulling you down. We're we're physiological. We're emotional. We're spiritual. We need help. Go to church. Read your bible. Psalm 42, David said, why art thou cast down on my soul? Why art thou disquieted within me? Hope thou in God. Get your hope on God. Get your eyes off of yourself. You're lacking faith. You're overwhelmed with fear, and the devil's pouncing on you. Get that shield of faith back up. Bounce those arrows off. Yes. Depression's real. Discouragement's real. Despair is real. It's real. But we have something greater. We have faith. We have faith in Jesus, that even though I'm going through the valley of the shadow of death, I'm not gonna fear any evil because God's with me through this valley that he's preordained and allowed me to go through. And I'm not gonna succumb to it with fear and doubt and unbelief and trust in a pill that's gonna somehow get me through it. Not gonna happen. Not gonna give into it. Kathy has been such a such a good example of this, let me tell you. Should just flat out tell you like my grandma, my grandma from a depression era, they just don't tolerate it. They just don't tolerate that that woe is me victim mentality. Not in their presence. You better talk about something positive. You better focus on something good that God's doing in your life. You better put that stuff behind you and move forward rather than wallowing in it. It's a lack of faith. It's overwhelming with fear. There's giants in the land. We can't take it. We can't go. We can't. We can't. We can't. There's giants in the land. The 10 spies came back. Caleb and Joshua said, let's take it now. God will do it. God will fight for us. There's no water. You brought us out here for us to perish, Moses. There's no water. Everybody filled with fear. No faith. Where's their faith? They just saw all the miracles of God in Egypt and defeating the Egyptians. He parted the Red Sea. He caused the Egyptian army to perish, to drown in the closing back up of the sea. He delivered 2,000,000 people across the dry bed. What what don't you understand? What what what? Does he change his mind? He's gonna bring you out here and deny you water and cause you to perish? It's just a test. It's just a test. He's got water you could drink of, you'll never thirst again. Maybe you're focusing too much on the physical. He denies you the physical so you'll tap into the spiritual riches that are yours. The spiritual water. Jesus on the great day of the feast went in the temple and said, if any man thirst, let him come unto me and drink. As the scripture said, he that believes in me in his belly and his innermost being shall flow torrents of living water. The woman at Jacob's well in John four, I've got water you can drink of, you'll never thirst again. And you've tasted, you've seen that he's good, and you know it to be true. And no matter what the devil tries to do to break your faith, you're gonna keep that shield of faith up. No matter what fiery darts. Smite the rock, Moses. Smite it. And the water gushed out. Speak to the rock, Moses. Oh, he smote it a second time. Bummer. He broke the tight. There's famine filled with fear. Abraham, Isaac, they go in and trust in man. There's an invasion of demons. Very occultic, oppressive, hard to overcome, difficult. There's a barren womb. My wife can't get pregnant. We're oppressed. Everybody has children except us. I'm losing my faith. I don't know what to do. Keep that shield of faith up. In Genesis fifteen one, Abraham, his wife Sarah couldn't have a child and Abraham was bummed because chapter 12, God gave this Abrahamic covenant. Chapter 15, he's reconfirming it and he starts out in verse one of chapter 15, fear not Abraham. I'm your shield and your exceedingly great reward. What more do you need? If God says I'm your shield and your exceedingly great reward, what more do you need? We have Jesus. And the unsearchable riches of Christ are ours. The devil wants us to think that we're we're we're barren, that we're unproductive. In many cases with Hannah or or Sarah or Elizabeth or Samson's mom. The Lord denies that which everyone else has because God has something far more special to do in and through you. God's gonna bring forth a Samuel, a little prophet, unto Hannah. God's gonna bring forth Isaac, not Ishmael, but Isaac, unto Sarah and Abraham. God's gonna bring forth a John the Baptist to Zechariah and Elizabeth, who are barren. In his proper timing, God's gonna do something greater than the norm and we must keep believing, keep trusting, praying, hoping. And if God says no, then we learn that his grace is sufficient for his strength's perfected in weakness. That Jesus is our exceedingly great reward. God told Abraham to fear not. God told Isaac to fear not for I'm with thee in Genesis twenty six twenty four because Isaac, like his father, went down into the area of the Philistines, and he did the same lie. He told Rebecca, tell him you're my sister because she's so beautiful. Learn from his dad. And what did Abraham come out of Egypt with? He came out of Egypt with Hagar. What did Lot come out of Egypt with with Abraham? A love for the world. A love for Egypt. And he wound up pitching his tent towards Sodom. He wound up gravitating to being within Sodom and being in the city gate in Sodom. How tragic for his family spiritually. As their relationship with God would break down, they wouldn't have the faith to persevere. And then Jacob in Genesis forty six three, God said to fear not. Fear not. Fear is the opposite of faith. You lost your faith. You're not believing. You quit trusting. Fear not. Don't fear going down into Egypt because when when my people come out of there, the seven year come out 2,000,000 strong. I'm gonna bring for the nation. So don't don't fear this famine. Joseph's there ahead of time. He's a type of Christ and he's gonna pave the way for you. And he'll catch you. Your name's changed to Israel. You're gonna be governed of God. Governed by me. Jesus said in Luke twelve thirty two, fear not little flock for it's your father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom. So don't listen to those lies of the wicked one. What a loser you are. You don't have nothing that can be measured to determine or measure your success. You have Jesus. You have eternal life, and you have precious, precious faith. So precious. Nurture that faith. Cultivate that faith. Don't have faith in faith. Have faith in God. Let your faith in God, your faith in Jesus increase and grow. You'll notice that as you walk with the Lord, your first trials when you're first married, they're little in comparison of the type you're facing today. That's because your faith muscle needs to be exercised. Your faith muscle, your capacity to to suffer, your capacity to deal with adversity is greater now. Your faith is greater. And God uses the enemy to tempt and to test you, but he does it in such a way that it benefits you, that all things are working together for good for those who love God and are called according to his purpose. Now you have a testimony. Now you can testify, I was once blind and now I see. I was once broke, the Lord came through for me. I got a new job. The Lord came through, the Lord helped me. He's always been there. I don't know why I doubted. Our spiritual armor, the belt, the breastplate, the boots, the shield of faith, and now we come to the helmet of salvation. Verse 17. And take the helmet of salvation, this was a thick metal leather overlay. Picture in my head, and and they have these plumes that come up off the top. But, when, tackle football first started, they had these leather skull cap type things, you know? Imagine bopping heads with those things. You gotta have a really good Rydell helmet, everything, you know? But these guys had a it was metal with a leather overlay and then different colored plumes at the top, and you've seen them in some of the movies, maybe maybe in Gladiator to identify which band you're of, and and, but these were their helmets. And Paul is seeing the helmet of this Roman soldier and is, here's the helmet of salvation. The enemy would seek to decapitate us by wielding his broadsword at our head, which represents your mind. That's where the battle is won or lost, is your mind. And God gives you the helmet of salvation to protect your mind. Because these fiery darts and the lies of the wicked one, the deception in the age in which we're living is so pervasive that Jesus said in the tribulation period that if it were possible, even the very elect would be deceived. And then we reminded of Revelation 18, verse 23 that, let's see here. Revelation. Yeah. Revelation eighteen twenty three, that when the Lord deals with the globalists at at Babylon, like we talked about last week, the the the monarchs, the merchants, the mariners, the Babylon is billowing with smoke, destroyed as in a moment. And the commentary there is that these rich, these globalist technocrats, these leaders that they deceived, the devil used them to deceive the nations through sorcery. That's the occult. That's lies. It's also pharmakia. It's drugs that are gonna be available and are available, passed out like candy during the time of great, great upheaval. Jesus said a time the world's never seen nor will see again. So how do people cope? It's on meds. Free meds. Medicate them all. And then lie to him with the occult and lying signs and wonders. And it's a Luciferian satanic environment, and the the objective was to deceive the whole world. How much truth do you and I know? How many lies are mixed in with what we think is true? How do I know the truth today? Man, I gotta dig in. I gotta do my due diligence nowadays. I can say something that, oh, that was AI generated, pastor. That wasn't real. I noticed on Steve Quayle the other day, as I'm not on Facebook anymore, but I still go to some of my articles I read. And I noticed that, there's a whole huge upheaval with Alec Jones and a bunch of them about the supposed assassination attempt of our president. I know a lot of the spiritual giants said, oh gosh, if he didn't turn his head just right, just nicked his nicked his ear, man. And I gotta listen to these guys buy into that and and then begin to promote Trump and, oh, the road ahead's so good. He's God's man. He's God's man. I gotta listen to that. And the b system's overwhelming that's being built through this man. Not a peep. Can't say his name out loud. Because that mean you'd lose a lot of people because they're still believing the lie. And if I was on Facebook, I'd repost my picture when I cut myself shaving, and the blood started coming down my cheek. And I posted that and I put, winning. Fight. Fight. Fight. I got so many mega Christian people mad at me. Because what was I saying? It's a lie. It was staged. It was simply to garner support from his following to make him a messiah figure. And God let me see through it. How did I know? I knew beyond a shadow of a doubt because I could hear him say, not the hair. Not the hair. He's got a amazing comb over, and no man that's being shot at in the secret service, their job is to cover him, is gonna let him stand up and do a photo op. He wants his hair right. This is crisis acting. Crisis actors. It's staged to deceive people. And yet the Christians in the pulpit are like, he's God's man. He's Cyrus. God spared him. Well, what if God put him in to judge America, to deceive the Christians, to look for Christian nationalism? We're gonna get America back. Well, what if the whole plan is to to take the economy and crash it, but before we crash it, we're gonna rape and pillage all the wealth out of it, and we're gonna present a new system of surveillance and economics and and these things. A whole new system the bible foretells where no man can buy or sell without a mark on his right hand or his forehead. So the prelude to that, the birth pangs of the beast system, a surveillance system, stargate the first day in office, the Genesis Act, all these all these legislation for the technocrats, the board of peace. I mean, he's the gift that keeps on giving to the antichrist. But don't say his name, unless you say it in a positive that he's a messiah. Because if you dare to say his name I know I watched in the prophecy guys, they'll talk about the beast system now a little bit, and they'll show some things that are alarming. And they'll say they'll use the word administration. But they won't say, except Billy Crone or JD, they won't say Trump. Because that means have the people leave their church, their following. Well, why don't you wake the people up? Why don't you say his name? So maybe the people can see the wolf in sheep's clothing. They're under a spell. It's a cult. It it's demonic. Their minds have been invaded with lies. They can't think. Their shield of faith isn't strong enough to trust in Jesus. They gotta trust in man. They they need a human figure. And so Jesus says in John five, I come on my father's name and you receive me not. Another shall come in his own name and him you shall receive. No. I'm not saying Trump's the antichrist. I'm just saying that he's a John the Baptist for the antichrist. He's a forerunner. He's setting the stage. He's doing his part along with the other globalist, the global leaders. The the the global leaders and the devil knew that we evangelical Christians by and large would trust this guy. There's no such thing as an election anymore. These guys are appointed. So Rob's telling me the other day, hey, pastor, did you hear they're having all kinds of trouble in California with the elections again? The Republicans thought they won, and then over the weekend, you know, the Democrats all won. And I said to Rob, I said, why do you think that is? It's called crisis reaction solution. They're creating the crisis. They're creating the crisis where everyone says, these depot machines that Nancy Pelosi, you know, invested in, these voting machines and and the Rothschilds that support Gavin Newsom and such, they're the same on both sides, republican, democrat, but when they purposely steal an election and everybody knows they're stealing it, now they want people to come up with a solution. What's the solution? Well, you just brought in millions of immigrants, millions of people you brought in during the Biden steal. Now they're threatening to vote. What's the solution? What's the answer? They want you to come up with the answer. A biometric ID. Glad I thought of that. Why do they need a biometric ID? For the financial system. Once they get the financial system in place and it requires a biometric ID, now they got you. But on the way there, let's make it about voting. Let's make it about voting. Let's make it about immigration. We have too many people here that that are not naturalized citizens or legal citizens. It's way too those demon democrats, look what they did. And the only way we're gonna get our country back as republicans, the mega group, is to get a biometric ID on everybody. And we'll give them $10,000 in their account to do it, to leave the dollar, and we're gonna use the carrot at first. Just like the mark of the beast, the carrot. People are gonna sign up for it. It's such a great idea. And then later, the guillotine. Later, the sword to cut their heads off. It's so simple. If you know the devil's playbook, if you know his wiles, his strategies, we're not ignorant of his strategies. You can see it. It's so easy. Crisis reaction solution. Over and over again, get the people afraid. They have to have a biometric ID for this b system. And people can't trust the Lord enough to say no to all of the lies and the deception. They're not secure in their salvation. They wanna trust in a man, so they're easily swayed. The battlefield is the mind. First Thessalonians five verse eight says, for in a helmet, the hope is salvation. The devil wants to condemn. The devil wants to create doubt and fear and defeat you in your mind. And the greatest weapon used against the pastor and the pastor's wife is Monday morning, sometimes Sunday afternoon, discouragement? Should I be discouraged? There's hardly anybody here today. Should I quit after thirty one years? That's what the devil does. Mondays are tough. Driving home from here is tough. What did I do wrong? Did I talk too long? Did I tell lies? Did I tell fairy tales? Was I mean? Oh, I shouldn't have mentioned that coma over Trump. Offended all the bald guys. Oh, man. I shouldn't have done that. I just have to be honest. And I thank the Lord that there's still a few people showing up. That's how I look at it. I'm not discouraged anymore. I'm encouraged because I'm I'm not delusional. I know preaching like this, teaching like this in a time of apostasy, it's always gonna be a small group of people, but you're gonna get stronger. You're gonna be ready for the fight that's coming. You're you're in training. You're growing. Each and every one of you, the newer people that are I'm watching you growing. You're growing. Because we're telling the truth. We're not giving you the psychobabble. We're not giving you the feel good lies, the therapeutic preaching to make you feel good as the whole world around you is crumbling. When are the people gonna wake up? We talked this morning, we're not gonna be able to wake them up. Those who don't wanna wake up are never gonna wake up. No matter how much I try to expose Trump and the beast system, all of they're not gonna wake up. They don't want to wake up. It's too hard. It's too too difficult. They're not soldiers. They don't want a soldier. So when are they gonna wake up? When the music stops, when the economy crashes, and the globalists take everything from them. They're putting their hope in them that they get more, make America great, When in actuality, they're gonna take it all. As Klaus Schwab said, you'll own nothing and be happy. But what happens is the globalists are preparing to go underground because they know those on the surface are finally gonna wake up to the betrayal and the deception they lived under. And then they're gonna use pestilence and famine, lack of food production presently, and fertilizer to grow food, and war to kill the people remaining on the surface. And you and I believe, I believe, will be raptured. I believe the tribulation period, the period of God's judgments coming upon the earth and the globalist, the satanist, the Luciferian satanist, they're preparing for it. And their enemy are the people. The people on the planet are their enemies. They wanna reduce the population. They wanna control the population. And you and I were made in the image of God. Image and likeness of God. And this freedom that we enjoy in America, our founding fathers understood that these are God given and inable rights. No man has a right to take it away from me. And yet, that's what's happening. Tyranny is escalating. Laws are being enacted. Your right of speech, free speech, your right of assembly, be arrested for saying something wrong on Facebook now, you know. In The UK, you can be arrested for praying in public, I heard in Canada. If they see you in a posture of prayer, you can be arrested. That's insane. So so let's disarm the population, Australia, New Zealand, The UK, Canada, and then let's enact these tyrannical laws. And the people the people, the but but there's a spiritual vacuum. They they ran away from Jesus long ago. A post Christian era. God did not give us the spirit of fear, but a power of love and of a sound mind. In second Timothy one seven, Timothy was timid, he was afraid. Paul was emboldening him, fight the good fight, be a soldier, keep soldiering. Which speaks of discipline, a disciplined mind. And take it says, and take. Take means to accept, to receive from God's hands something he has prepared for us, a free gift. So you've got the helmet of salvation, the devil is trying to convince you you're not saved, that you're going to hell, that your faith in Jesus isn't enough, he isn't gonna save you. So you have salvation. The word salvation in three tenses in the past tense, he saved you from the past penalty of sin. In the present tense, he's saving you from the power of sin. You used to be a slave to sin, but your salvation is such that you sin will not have dominion over you in Romans six. You're free. You have freedom. And then in the future tense, this is where a lot of times we lose it. He's saving us from the very presence of sin. Beloved, now are we the sons of God who does not yet appear what we shall be. Know that when he appears, we shall be like him for we shall see him as he is. In first John three verse two. So God is changing us from glory to glory into the image of his son. He's gonna complete that work that he's begun. And I fail every day. I fail every week. I fail every month, every year. I fail. But the mercies of the Lord are new every morning. You need to know that it's a free gift. You can't earn it. And you can't keep it by working. It's a free gift. For by grace are you saved through faith. And that not of yourselves, it's a gift of God, not of works, lest any man should boast. It's a free gift. The devil's lying to you. You didn't lose your salvation. You can't work to get it back. You never lost it. It's a free gift that you received as he gave you that faith as you trusted and surrendered and believed in his finished work to talis die paid in full. Romans eight thirty four, Paul says, who? Who? Not what? Who is he that condemns? Revelation 12 verse 10, this the wicked one, the devil, the accuser of the brethren, he's the one that condemns. Well, in verse one of chapter eight, there's now therefore no condemnation to those who walked out of the flesh but after the spirit. In chapter seven of Romans, the things I wanna do, don't do. The things I don't wanna do, I do. Oh, wretched man that I am. Who shall deliver me from this body of death? It's a who. The devil's a who. Who is he that condemns? Who is this person that's condemning you? A husband, a wife, son or daughter, a worker? Who is he that condemns? He's a tool, the wicked one. You're not fighting against flesh and blood, but devil sure works through them, doesn't he? It is Christ that died, he rather has risen again, who is even at the right hand of God who also makes intercession for us. You think it's Jesus doing that? It's not Jesus. It's the devil. Verse 35. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation or distress or persecution or famine or nakedness or peril or sword? Nay. In all these things, in all these things, in all this adversity, in all these things, we're more than conquerors through him that loved in the past tense, the cross that loved us. There's your victory at the cross. We've already won. Job said, though he slay me, yet will I trust in him. I know that my redeemer lives and he shall stand the latter day upon the earth. And though after worms, the corruption of worms destroy this skin, yet in my body shall I see God, my new glorified body. I'll be standing there face to face seeing Jesus in my new glorified body. The boots, the breastplate, the belt, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and now the sword of the spirit. And the sword of the spirit, is the word of God. Now some say this is the offensive weapon. The greatest defense, a good offense. But I can see that breastplate behind me on my back, if my back's turned to the enemy, which I shouldn't be turned. Right? I should be facing, but they can sneak around. And that breastplate's gonna be good for that arrow that's trying to pierce my back. Right? So there's some armament there, that head, there's a back shot. But maybe the picture is you're moving forward. As a Christian, you're always moving forward. You don't just stand there idle, and you don't retreat. You don't run away, and you don't try to hide in bed and just sleep it off. Although a good night's sleep is invigorating and restorative. Right? We know that. But not as a means of escape days on end. Right? Gauge the enemy. Get back in the battle. Get back up. Serve the Lord Jesus. Do something for somebody that has it worse than you, and look how good you're gonna feel. How much better that God used you in that suffering. The sword of the spirit, which is the word of God. The Greek word is Makaria. It's a small sword, eight to 16 inches long for close combat, offensive and defensive. A bible. Your bible, my bible. It may not look all that lethal, especially if it's the dusty kind with the pages that still stick together. It might not be your first choice in a gunfight, but in the hands of a trained soldier, it's the most feared by the enemy. The enemy hates a bible believing, a bible thumping of freak Jesus freaking Christian. We're living in a time of biblical illiteracy. Devil laughs at us. He's filled the churches with imbecilic clown shows that don't teach the bible. So the people don't know their bible. It's so sad. You guys are only here because you're in love with Jesus and you love learning his word. That's the only reason you're here. If you don't want the word of God, you you do this in the seat and just you're almost in torment. Boom. You're out of here. Looking at your watch, and you can't stand it. That's okay. You're being exposed. And where do you go? You go to the show. The clown show, the imbecilic cycle babble, and then they've got $75 an hour counselors trying to counsel you through life. Because you can't go directly to the source. You have to go through men and women and gimmicks and scams, and all you keep doing is writing checks. They want your money. You're just merchandise. And we try to pour into your lives the word of God. And those of you that receive the word of God, you're not as susceptible to the lies of the wicked one. You don't live in fear. You live in victory. You live in faith. You live ready to rumble. For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty of God to the pulling down of strongholds. Casting down imaginations and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God and brings into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ. That's why I try to smash the mouths, smash them in the mouth, these YouTubers, these these liars, these social media gutless, wimpy, imbecilic guys in the pulpits. It it's not a game. You're you're leading people to hell. And I'm not and I'll date myself. I'm not Tiny Tim tripping out through the tulips, you know, prancing around. I'm gonna plant my arms here. I'm gonna plant my feet, and I'm gonna let it rip. And I'm not gonna apologize. It's the word of God. If you don't like it, take it up with the writer, you know? And so the weapons of our warfare, they're not carnal. They're not fleshly weapons, but spiritual. And God is pulling down the strongholds as next week we learn to pray, to pray against these things, to intercede and to fight, and to win the battle on our knees. Our kids are gonna be better off, our grandkids will be better off if we're men and women of prayer, because that's where the battle's won or lost. Charles Spurgeon had a whole group of people underneath the stage, underneath the floor. They had a basement in London, and that was where the power came from during the service. He'd go like this when he's ready to give the the invitation for people to receive the gospel and get the prayer engine going. They've been praying the whole time during the service. We used to do that when we had our our building get in there early. People come early and they just find a room and they just start praying for the service ahead of time. That's why I've asked you to pray at your meal and pray for Calvary Bremerton. Pray what's upcoming. We don't know what God gonna do today in our midst, who he might wanna save or encourage or whatever. But through prayer, we ask. It isn't just a rote process of going through the motions. There's gotta be life to everything that we do, the life of the spirit. Casting down imaginations. These guys are imagining big things. Jared Kushner and the guys are saying they're gonna live forever. I've gotta take that imagination and I've gotta cast it down. I've gotta expose it. I gotta hammer it. And I gotta say, Elon, you put the chip in your brain. It ain't going to my brain. And you guys are delusional because that's the lie from the pit of hell in the garden where the serpent told Eve, you shall not die. That's the lie in second Thessalonians two where God's gonna give them over to a strong delusion because they reject the truth and God gives them over to a strong delusion that they would believe the lie. The lie. The lie is you can live forever. We're gonna use technology and all that we're learning to try and make it so people don't die anymore. And yet it's appointed on to all men wants to die and then the judgment. There's a whole lot of people dying during the tribulation period including the antichrist and the false prophet, and they're taken by an angel and thrust into the lake of fire, and they're destroyed in the second coming of Christ, not the rapture. And the second coming of Christ with the brightness of his coming and the sword of his mouth, and they just dropped dead. And the blood's as high as the horse's bridle, four and a half feet high. Millions of people in the Valley Of Decision, and Jesus makes his victory ascend up the through the Valley Of Jehoshaphat, up the Mount Of Olives into the city of Jerusalem, king of kings and lord of lords. The imagination. Psalm two, oh, how the heathen imagine a vain thing. How they imagine a vain thing to come against the Lord, to come against his anointed, and the Lord will hold them in strong derision. God laughs from heaven at the devices, the imaginations, the plans of man. These Luciferian globalists. And you and I should just bold, in a bold manner. Nathan, prophet to David, you're the man. John the Baptist, it's illicit taking your brother Philip's wife. Herod, don't be afraid. I'm watching the big name Christian leaders. They're so afraid. They won't say it. They won't say his name except in a positive light. I don't know where we'd be if we didn't have him because, you know, Biden and Harris were pretty bad. It's a game. It's a game. They're on the same team. They're yucking it up with each other. They all belong to Epstein Island. What don't you understand? Why are you still caught up, pastor, in this demonizing of Democrats? They're you never say anything bad about the Republicans, and they're all on that list. And why the divulging of the list? To teach you, you have no power. It's learned helplessness. There's nothing you can do about it. Marjorie Marjorie Taylor Greene can tell you all about it, but nobody's gonna do anything. They're never gonna go to jail. They have immunity. If you haven't learned that about Bill Gates and George Soros yet, they have immunity from prosecution. They can do anything. They can load up bricks in Seattle to be thrown at glass, and nobody prosecutes. Nobody follows the money to prosecute. Paying $17 an hour on Craigslist to get these crazies down there to start throwing these things. Call it a cover color revolution or whatever. It's idiocy. Where's the rule of law? There's plenty of laws in place. You tell the police officers they have to stand down? And you think voting's gonna fix that? Vote harder. Vote harder. It's it's such a it's such a oh, it's from the pulpits. If the guys in the pulpit would expose it, it'd stop. But they're wussies. They won't. And Dietrich Bonhoeffer and Numeraller had the same problem in Hitler's reign. The churches adopted Hitler's cross. They took down all the things that point to Jesus. They put up the Trump banners, except for 700 pastors who refused to. And they were thrown in jail and killed, weren't they? Against the anything that exalts itself against the knowledge of God and bring into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ. So here's your filter. You take every idea, every fiery dart, everything the talking heads on Fox News, CNN, all of them. Every because the battle's in the mind. The the communist want to brainwash. That's why they want the public school to brainwash the kids, to indoctrinate. We want to educate. He said, go and make disciples of all nations. So we use the word of God. That's our curriculum. And that's why the state shut down our day care because twice they told us, you're using the Becca curriculum and we don't wanna pay for kids to learn about Jesus. We we didn't take them serious. They said put the kids in the head start reading program. Had we done that, we'd still be in business. But we just they can't no. We're a Christian group. We're gonna keep giving the kids the bible, and we were shut down for that reason. But they lied to make it sound like we were derelict out of ratio. But this is the curriculum. It's the bible. So you take this as a filter, every thought, everything you get, you analyze it and you bring it back to the word of God. Is that what God's word says? Is that is that what Jesus says? Is is this leader, is he looking more like Nebuchadnezzar or does he look like Jesus? If he's a Messiah, figure, a savior of America, Should he be building a statue of himself? Should he put his face on a $250 bill? Should he coins? Who is this guy? Is this not great Babylon which I have built? Doesn't remind me of Jesus. Jesus took a coin. Whose superscription is it? Caesar's. We'll render unto Caesar's the things that are Caesar's, unto God the things that are God's. Jesus wasn't enamored with everything gold, all things gold. He got the golden president. That's mind blowing. Babylon was known for the gold, baby. It it it's so ludicrous. It's so over the top. It's so irrefutable now that I that I I don't understand. I I've never understood why the leadership of the church doesn't expose it. You're commanded to. You're commanded to expose, to have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darks darkness, but rather expose it. So you bring into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ. So what happens here is you have a biblical world view rather than a secular world view. Our founding fathers had a biblical world view. That's why they wrote the constitution, the bill of rights, understanding that we were made in the image and likeness of God. And that our freedoms are derived from God, not from government as a privilege. Nobody can violate your God given bill of rights, life liberty, the pursuit of happiness. Genesis three one, the devil has God said. When the devil said, came to Eve and said, has God said? Adam Adam should have been teaching Eve, honey, if that slithery serpent ever comes to our door and knocks on our door and begins to undermine God and with lies of hath God said, honey, here's the shotgun. It's a double barrel. You kill that serpent. You shoot the devil dead right now. Boy, we'd be praising Eve, wouldn't we? Eve did it. Wiped him out. Because he came in a in a physical form and he could talk. Hath God said? That's where the enemy always starts. He's challenging God's word. That's why he hates you and me in this kind of a church, because we teach God's word. You've received more of God's word right now in this one service than 99% of the churches in Kitsap County have all year long. They start with one little verse, and then they jump off and start talking about Bambi. Bambi, get up, Bambi. Get up. Remember what your father said, you know. If you don't have something nice to say, don't say nothing at all, you know. I'm gonna start singing in a minute. God has equipped us with the holy, his holy word. In second Timothy three sixteen, all scripture from Genesis to Revelation, not the book of Enoch. You wanna read the book of Enoch about giants and all that, that's fine historical. You know, you don't know what's true, what's not true. Stay with the 66 books that have been given to us through the canon of scripture. Genesis to Revelation. And yes, we go from Genesis to Revelation. So all scripture, not some scripture, all scripture is given by inspiration. That word inspiration means it's God breathed. And you need to settle this in your mind. Is this the word of men or is it the word of God? If it's the word of men, you're gonna have a weak faith. If it's the word of God, which it is, the man your face should stand on a solid ground. Firm foundation. So all scripture is given by inspiration of God and is profitable for doctrine. Go and make disciples. We have doctrine. Doctrines that we teach about salvation, soteriology, eschatology, all the different doctrines of the bible. Profitable for doctrine. For reproof. What's reproof? We're gonna we're gonna reprove people. We're gonna correct people. We're gonna challenge people. Jesus said, get thee behind me, Satan, to Peter. He reproved them. You savor not the things that be of God, but the things that be of men. Because Peter said, be it far from you, Lord. You're not gonna be crucified. You're not going to the cross. Peter, a few a little while earlier, said, thou art the Christ, the son of the living God. Blessed art thou, Simon Bar Jonah. For flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my father is in heaven. I say to you, Peter, and upon this rock, I'll build my church, and the gates of hell not prevail against it. But guys, I'm gonna have to go to the cross. I'm gonna be going to the cross. And then Peter's like, be that far from you. We're never gonna let that happen. And Jesus says, get thee behind me, Satan. He's reproving him. It's really Satan speaking through you, Peter. It's Satan. Get thee behind me, Satan. For you savor not the things that be of God, but the things that be of men. Make America great. We're gonna make America great. In Hebrews four twelve, the word of God is living and powerful and sharper than any two edged sword. Divide us under soul. So think of the word of God can reach between soul and spirit. So the soul is the seed of the mind, the will, the emotions. So many of the churches and teachers are teaching psychology, which is geared toward the soul, the mind. And so you teach sensory. You teach what titillates and appeases the soul part of man. But the word of God reaches the spirit. Speaks to you through God's spirit, speaks to your spiritual, feeds you spiritually. I could tell a nice poem, little ditty, and you emotionally are brought to tears and crying in anger. That's your soul, sensory apparatus. I could be fixing tacos outside there in a taco truck and hurry up. Yeah. Pretty soon we're gonna have some tacos. Get ready, you know. I moved you. I moved you. Oh, yeah. That's appealing to you on the human level, but the word of God is living and powerful and sharper than any two edged sword. So it can be a scalpel. It can be a scalpel to do surgery on your heart in the in the hands of a skilled physician like Jesus, a two edged sword. It it can cut someone's head off if you need to, right, if the Lord wants that. Sharpening a two edged sword, dividing us on a soul and spirit, and joint and marrow. The joint and the marrow, the innermost parts of your being. Right? And as a discerner, we like discernment today, and as the discerner of the thoughts and intents of your heart. So as we're preaching, as we're teaching, as we're studying God's word, as you're reading, you're hearing God's word, God's word is speaking to you and exposing you like looking into a mirror. He's showing you your heart, and nobody else knows what he's showing you. He's doing that to every single person in here. And then he wants you to settle it in your heart right now. He wants you to receive that love that he's showing. He loves you and he wants you to receive that love. He wants you to overcome that unbelief, that frailty, that human frailty, to be emboldened once again as you see your salvation. You see how precious he is and his love for you at the cross. And then you walk out of here being a doer of the word, refusing to doubt, refusing to be living with fear. Able to say with Job, you know, if we lose it all, I don't care. Though he slay me, I'm a trust in him. I'm a trust in him no matter what. And a lot of times when you people don't hear what they want to hear, they blame the pastor and the church. I need to find a church that tells me what I wanna hear because that's not what I wanna hear. Good luck with that. Teachers having itching ears, you're gonna you got the itchy ears, so you wanna find people that scratch you where you itch. That's not here, is it? Living and powerful and sharpening to his sword, divided asunder of soul and spirit, joint, and marrow, and a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Before the flood, when the Lord looked at the hearts of people, he said the heart of the people of Noah's generation was only evil continually. In Jeremiah seventeen nine, Oprah said, trust your heart. And God says, the heart's deceitfully deceitful above all things, desperately wicked, and who can know it? Only God knows a heart. And God's in the business of changing our heart. And he changes our heart from glory to glory as we're as we're in the word of God and God is sanctifying us, setting us apart from the world. He's changing the way we think. So be not conformed to this world, Romans 12 verse two, into the pattern of the world. Be not conformed to this world, but be transformed. Transhumanism, Elon. God's got this down. Be transformed by the, not a knurling, by the renewing of your mind. God changes the way you think, the way things are connected. Now you're thinking like a Christian, not the natural man who understands not the things of God neither can he know them. But eye has not seen nor ear heard, neither has it entered into the heart of men, the things which God has prepared for them that love him. But God has revealed them unto us by his spirit. God is revealing to us his love letter. God wants you to know him. He wants you to know through the reading, memorization, and study of his love letter that God would change our heart. Thy word have I hid my heart that I might not sin against thee. Psalm one nineteen eleven. Second Timothy two fifteen, study to show yourself approved under God. You've gone through the fire and you found purity. You've been tested, studied to show yourself approved unto God, a workman that need not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. You're a bible thumper. You can say, hey, Psalm one, it says this. Hey, revelation. Nobody reads revel oh, yeah. There's a blessing in revelation three for those who read this book and keep it. It's a blessed book. It's a wonderful book. It's an easy book to understand if you let the holy spirit help you. Why are you afraid of a book of the bible? Why would god put it in there? Why would he put John on the island of Patmos if it wasn't pertinent and important, especially in the last days? Why would the devil want you to be there it is, dummy down and not know these truths. Certainly, that's the objective and strategy of the devil and why the men who fill these pulpits give into that craziness. They haven't they're not approved of God. Blessed is the man in Psalm one who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands away the sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful, but his delight is in the law of the Lord, and his law does he meditate day and night. So it goes from the head to the heart, becomes a part of you as you meditate upon God's word. He shall be like a tree that's planted by the rivers that brings forth its fruit in its season. His leaf shall not wither and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. Psalm one. Psalm two, oh, how the heathen rage. Imagine a vain thing that they're gonna destroy God's anointed. They're gonna destroy Jesus when he comes back to take the earth, and God laughs from heaven. And you know this to be true. You're you're not caught up in it. You laugh too. You're like, these guys are crazy. His way have I kept and not declined, Job says. Neither have I gone back from the commandment of his lips. I have esteemed the words of his mouth more than my necessary food. My stomach's growling. I'm hungry. Physiologically, I'm hungry. We're gonna go pretty soon. I'm gonna munch. But I like the word of God even more. I don't wanna be spiritually famished. I've esteemed the words of his mouth more than my necessary food. In Matthew chapter four, Jesus, after he was baptized and the holy spirit came down upon him, Jesus was led out in the wilderness by the devil. And the devil tempted him. Jesus hadn't eaten in forty days. So the devil looking at the son of man, fully God, fully man, with physiologically the same appetite as you and I, the desire for food. He said, if, he's challenging, if you be the son of God, command these stones to be made bread. Use the free exercise of your deity for a selfish means to simply provide food for yourself. And Jesus, how's he combat the enemy? With the sword of the spirit, which is the word of God, is what you and I need to do. When the devil challenges you and I, and he tells, hey, do this, somebody else says do this. We need to come back with the word of God. We need to reach into the sheet and pull it out and say, this is my response. And so Jesus, he quoted out of Deuteronomy chapter eight verse three, and he said, is written, man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God. And Satan says, I'm a student of the bible. I know the bible. I I've got a bible in my own name. It's got gold leaf in it. And if you guys want, you can sign my bible. It's the Trumper bible. Wow. I've been a pastor all this time, and I don't have a bible. I don't have a bible in my name. I don't have any gold leaf, and I've asked you guys to sign if I could sign your bibles. You won't let me sign your bibles. Wow. Nobody's ever kissed my ring. So Satan says, you know what? I'm gonna quote Psalm 91. I'm gonna take you up onto the temple, and I'm gonna challenge you to jump off of the temple because Psalm ninety one eleven says that he'll give his angel charge over you, lest you dash your foot against a stone. But Satan misquoted it. He'll he'll in all your ways, the Lord according to his ways, according to his will. It wouldn't be God's will as Jesus quotes out of Deuteronomy again, thou shall not tempt the Lord thy God. Don't put God to the test. Don't jump off here just to put God to the test in Deuteronomy six sixteen. And then Satan says, alright. No cross. No cross. I'll give you all the kingdoms of the world if you bow down and worship me. Because remember in Isaiah 14 and Ezekiel 28, he wanted to be as the most high God. And Adam, our first federal head, when he failed, Lucifer, the usurper, took dominion over the earth. Jesus didn't refute the little G God of this world, the prince, the power, the air, the evil one, the wicked one. He didn't refute that authority that he had, but Jesus knew that he's a lamb slain before the foundation of the earth. And he knew that in Revelation five, he's got the title deed to the earth. Who's worthy to open the scroll and lose the seal? The lion of the tribe of Judah, he's prevailed. He's the creator and the redeemer. But meanwhile, we gotta play this out. So you bow down and worship me, and I'll give you all the kingdoms of the world. I'll be God and you be king. And Jesus said, it is written, thou shall worship the Lord thy God and him only shalt thou serve. Be gone Satan in Luke's account. And it says that late, Satan left him for a season. Remember that. Satan goes about like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour. You may get a victory and he may leave you alone for a space of time, but he's looking for a vulnerability to come back at you. He's he never sleeps. And as Kathy always points out, he always looks for the the weakest link. If he can't get to you, he's gonna try and get to your husband, your wife, your son, your daughter, somebody close to you, your worship team person, somebody to neutralize, to create confusion and chaos. He's the author of confusion, and he wants to neutralize and get you off track. He really wants a father to get in the flesh, to act in the flesh, a pastor to get in the flesh. But the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty of God to the pulling down of strongholds. Now that doesn't mean I'm a pacifist. If I have a concealed carry and somebody's gonna try and hurt my family, I'm gonna I'm gonna let them know that I'm licensed in state of Washington to marry them, to bury them, and send them to hell if they're bad. You know? Their choice. Still not convinced. Still looking for something new. Everybody wants something new. Is your sword rusty? Did the did the dew cause the sword to stick and you can't get it out? Reminded a Russell Crowe in Gladiator, that guy couldn't get it out. Oh, little Frost. Frost got it in there. The future, Revelation nineteen nineteen, I saw the beast. Beast is the antichrist. And the kings of the earth and the armies gathered together to make war against him that sat upon the horse and against his army. And the beast was taken and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, the unholy trinity, which he deceived them that they had received the mark of the beast and them that worshiped his image. These both were cast alive into the lake of fire burning with brimstone, and the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth, and all the fowls were filled with their flesh, and there was a huge slaughter, and the and the carnivorous birds came and feast upon the flesh of kings and upon the whole army. So all the nukes, weapons of mass destruction, the drones, the tanks, the laser guided missiles, the hollow point rounds, all the blue helmeted UN cowards, all the armies and the armaments are no match for the sword of the spirit, is the word of God. When Jesus returns, second Thessalonians two said that he destroys the the antichrist. He destroys him with the sword of his mouth and the Shekinah glory, the brightness of his coming, and he falls dead in the streets there, right there near Basra, as the armies of the world are trying to come against the Petra, against the remnant, the one third remnant of Jews that are being preserved in the area of Petra, present day Southern Jordan. And Jesus returns to accept those days be short, no flesh should be saved, but for the elect's sake, he turns because they cry out, blessed is he that comes in the name of the Lord. Looking for that blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and savior, that's our hope. Our hope is that Jesus is gonna return. Year of God little children have overcome them because greater is he that's in you than he that's in the world. Put on the whole armor of God that you may be able to stand against the wiles, the strategies, the tricks of the devil. Put on the belt, the breastplate, the boots, the shield, the helmet, the sword. Fight the good fight of faith. Lay hold on eternal life. Keep the faith. It's always too soon to quit. Just go with what got you here. Continue to walk by faith, not by sight. Trust the Lord. Let's pray. Father, we thank you once again that you're our victor, that you're our champion, that, your son Jesus, he's overcome all principalities and powers. He triumphed over him. Thank you, Lord, that we can rest in his victory, we can rest in your love, and and, Lord, we like the sweet fellowship with you, and we thank you for one another. I thank you, Lord, that there are some like minded people here that you've sent here. So, I'm not I'm not gaslit. They can't gaslight me, Lord. No matter how many people reject, no matter how many people think I'm crazy, Lord, it lines up with your word. And that's what I bank on. That's what I trust in. That's what I stand on is your word, Lord. And the facts, the facts as we as we study, as we see the truth of the world in which we're living, we know that it isn't just bible truth, it's truth of mathematics, of food, of air, of economics. So many areas that we're being lied to, and Lord, you've given us the faculties and the reasoning abilities to understand and to grow into engineering and all other sorts of facets of learning and building and being productive. It isn't just isolated to Sunday morning bible. Just preach the gospel. It's idiocy. It affects our whole life. It affects everything. The eschatology, all of it is lining up. And so, Lord, I pray that our eyes are open, and I thank you for people that are students, that dig in, that wanna learn, they have a voracious appetite to know the truth, and to apply that truth to other lives. And I pray for your peace that surpasses all understanding, will continue to guard their hearts and minds through Christ Jesus, that they wouldn't be pulled into fear and the anxiety of this world, in this uncertainty, this chaos that's being created by the devil and all these satanic globalists, Lord. That we wouldn't play church, that we wouldn't try to hide and and be filled with fables and imaginary little friends. But Lord, that you'd get us through, that we'd face reality, and we'd face a victorious just knowing knowing Lord, you've already won, and that you're coming again right on schedule. And so Lord, we pray that you'd open more and more people's eyes, that we'd reach the lost with the love of Jesus, that you'd awaken many in the church who are neutralized, who are attending but may not even be believers. We pray that you would awaken this nation, Lord. That we'd experience a spiritual revival. You're the only one, Lord, that can give us a reprieve. You're the only one that can give us more time to share the gospel and to train up our children the way they should go. But if not, Lord, rapture us. Take us home. We're ready to go. So blessed now we pray as we partake of communion. Bless, we pray in Jesus' name. Amen.
