Ephesians 4:25,32 -His Kindness- Pastor Rick Beaudry 2026-03-15
We have the blessing of being in the book of Ephesians today. Ephesians four twenty five through 32, his kindness. Would you please stand with me as we read God's holy word together? Ephesians chapter four beginning with verse 25. Wherefore putting away lying speak every man truth with his neighbor for we are members one of another. Be angry and sin not, let not the sun go down upon your wrath. Neither give place to the devil. Let him that stole steal no more, but let him labor working with his hands the thing which is good that he may have to give to him that need it. Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying that it may minister grace unto the hearers. And grieve not the holy spirit of God whereby you're sealed under the day of redemption. Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and evil speaking be put away from you with all malice. Be kind one to another, tender hearted, forgiving one another even as God for Christ's sake has forgiven you. Father, we thank you so much for this family of believers here. And I kept hearing James mention family, family, family that Queen Esther's family and and so many that came to the graveside there with Sally, they're family. And we thank you for the body of Christ, which is family, Lord, that we go through the ups and the downs and all the different things that take place, but Lord, we have one another to lean upon and and carry and bear one another's burdens, to weep with those that weep and rejoice with those that rejoice. And Lord, we rely upon you and your Holy Spirit, and we thank you for the body of Christ, and we pray today, that we could be kind one to another, tender hearted, forgiving one another, even as God, for Christ's sake has forgiven us, Lord. And so we pray that we'd walk with that example, your example of forgiving those who hated you, those who mocked you, those who spit upon you, Lord, and you cried out, father, forgive them for they know not what they do. Help us, Lord, to be soft and tender and kind and loving. Let us be a loving body of believers that love you with all of our heart, all our mind, all soul, all our strength, and that we love one another, and Lord, that we love the lost. Lord, help us to love. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen. Would you please be seated? In response to his kindness in saving us, we're to put off these five sins. Now, before we get go into these five sins, I wanna open with describing for you verse 32 for me and my family when we went up to Twin Peaks when we're raising the girls, they're just little ones. Each summer, we'd go on a family camp. And at this family camp, you'd spend a week there there'd and be Sunday school for the children, then there'd be adult classes, you know, all day, and then meals together for an entire week. And very affordable, great place for a Christian family to go to at the conference center. And we had a pastor there named Bob Hoekstra, and Bob Hoekstra, in doing this family camp when he was teaching this passage, Ephesians four thirty two, he put it to a song. And we incorporated that in our family where each time Jessica and Brittany would fight with each other, we'd make them face each other and and sing this song to each other. Both of them have to sing it. And so I'll I'll sing it for you. Be kind one to another, tender hearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake has forgiven you. And then he added this, do do do do do, Ephesians four thirty two. So I could never forget it because it's put to a, you know, a little song there. Right? And so we would actually make our girls do that now. I think Britney hated it so much. She's never taught her kids to do that. Because you could go from rampage and fighting and pulling hair and they're screaming, and Kathy had these rules like you don't you don't, you know, her rule was you don't say shut up. That's a bad word, you know, and things like that. So if one said shut up, you know, they gotta come together and do that or and so pretty tight reign there with Kathy, but it's a it's a great reminder for me when I first learned this passage in that way. And so five, things to put off. Number one, put off lying. Verse 25. Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbor for we are members one of another. Now Psalm sixteen one sixteen eleven says, all men are liars. So let me see some hands. Is anybody here not a liar? You'd be lying if you did, if you raised your hand. So I had I had a gotcha. I'd have nailed you right there. So Jesus in speaking to the pharisees in John chapter eight, he says to the pharisees that your father's the devil and that he's a liar. He says, your father's the devil and the lust of your father you will do. He was a murderer from the beginning and he abode not in the truth because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks of his own for he is a liar and the father of it. And so Jesus looked into these religious leaders. He's saying, your father's the devil. He's a murderer and a liar and the lust of your father you will do. I mean, he's speaking truth right there. He's not afraid. He's not being passive toward the religious leaders. Like, I need to make friends with these guys. I need to compromise with these guys so that my ministry will flourish, you know. No. He's he's all about truth. He's he's he's never ever ever gonna back down and compromise one iota, one in no way shape or form is is Jesus ever gonna compromise the truth. And so lying is natural for the devil and his children. Deception is the, number one tool of the wicked one to deceive people today. And we we emphasize be not deceived. And Jesus said, take heed that no man deceive you. Well, the deceiver is one of his names, the devil. He goes about like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour. It's not always a frontal physical attack. In many ways, it's it's just leads a person to destruction because they believe lies, and, they're they're thrown off off the path. And so the, little g god of this world, the prince of the power of the air that's in charge of government that's over over human government, God, of course, is above that, and they there's a filter, a providential, you know, godly filter that the devil needs permission as we saw with Job. He can't just arbitrarily do anything, but he has a limited authority. And in that limited authority in in ruling and reigning as the little g god of this world, the prince of power of the air, as he wields his power, his power, goes forth as a liar. And he's a counterfeit. He's a counterfeit god the father. He sees himself as a counterfeit God the father. And his antichrist, a counterfeit in place of Jesus Christ. And the false prophet, as we've learned about chapter 13 of the book of Revelation, as a counterfeit holy spirit. And their modus operandi, their objective is to deceive people, to deceive the whole world. And the book of Revelation talks about that. He had that he that deceived the whole world left the world, you know, in this deception. And and the greatest deception is is that you don't need God, that you don't need Jesus Christ. That somehow you can get to heaven by a different gospel. Maybe the different gospel is by being good. Have you ever heard that one? Good people go to heaven, bad people go to hell. Well, that's a false gospel that many people believe. And they strive to be good. They strive to be better. They strive to, you know, outdo the, the evil that they do. And so for the Jews, on the day of Yom Kippur, that's basically what they do is they'd evaluate through the year all the things that they maybe did bad and they confess those things. And then the day of Yom Kippur, they try and they try and confess it, you know, make it right and all. And so, looking at God as a checks and the balances and all, but in looking at the day of Yom Kippur, they didn't they didn't see on the great day of atonement, being one with God. You know, looking at the lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world. They don't recognize Jesus in that way. And so the great deception in that they've rejected the Messiah. And second Thessalonians two, because they reject the truth, they as in the tribulation period, the people in the tribulation period, because they reject the truth of the gospel, they reject the truth of Jesus Christ as the Messiah. God says, he's gonna give them over to a strong delusion that they would believe the lie. And the lie is a lie that refers back to the garden when Satan told Adam and Eve, you shall not surely die. And so the lie moving forward is that human beings won't won't die. And that's why at the funeral of Sally, it's so powerful because there's evidence that, you know, people do die. And I don't know how they're gonna hide the bodies. I don't know how they're gonna, you know, keep this deception going. I know a lot of the faith preachers that preach if you had enough faith, you'd never get sick. They go into hospitals with a pseudonym. They go into hospital with an alias. They don't want people to know that they in fact get sick. And so a lot of people postulate and spread rumors and spread lies and and oversell, so to speak, with this god complex that someday you guys are gonna be as gods. That's what that's what the lie moving forward is, you're gonna be as gods. And we're gonna transform you with technology merging with biology and we're gonna bring forth a superhuman, you know, and all. And, that's the lie moving forward. Now with AI, the advent of AI, it's incredibly incredibly powerful. So many videos and so many things that we watch anymore are AI. Now I don't care if something that's truthful was produced by AI. That doesn't bother me. I don't know why it would bother anybody. It doesn't bother me. It's like going to the library and grabbing information and then putting that information down on paper, and maybe I'm the one that put it down on the paper, but I didn't produce that information. It was research. So if AI is producing and somebody's starting out writing a thing or making a video or whatever, I don't care if it originated as AI as long as it's truthful. But I need to be a fact checker, and I need to make sure that those facts are are, accurate. I I've heard a lot of pastors using AI now with their sermons and such. I won't go that far. I don't wanna do that. I don't wanna rely upon, you know, false holy spirit or whatever. But looking at it from a standpoint of computers and information and bible software and things like that, there's a lot of digital software already that we use to gain information very quickly in my computer. I've got some bible software where I can I can go through the bible a lot faster than when I first started, and I had all my commentaries and my dictionaries and everything all over a big table and yellow legal pads, and, you know, you spend hours and hours and hours searching for this and putting that and this and that, and then you bring it all together into a sermon, you know? And, that's how we used to roll. And, now we can bring our phone, and we've got bible software on our phone, and we can use it as a concordance. We can use it as a dictionary. We can look up Greek words and all. So I have no problem with the technology being used in a good way, but I'm also aware that the devil can bring forth things that appear to look good and maybe but, you know, look like it's truthful, but it's incumbent upon me to fact check, to make sure, check these things out before I tell you something I just learned, and then I find out later you come up to me and, know, pastor Rick, that was a lie, and and AI did that and they tricked you. Well, a lot of that's going on. And we gotta be we gotta be wise as serpents and gentle as doves or we might lose credibility with people as we're trying to be truthers, as we're trying to teach people the truth. And we certainly can't be liars. We certainly can't stand in the pulpit and present ourselves before people, you know, as liars and giving into these lies and all, postulating and and spreading these lies. And so government loves propaganda. Joseph Goebel said if you can get them afraid, you can get them to believe anything, and so you you create false flags and, you know, you get people afraid that there's some drones from Iran. They're gonna start hitting cities and stuff, and you get people just real afraid, afraid, afraid, afraid. You start the board of peace and you start a war and nobody knows which end is up and pretty soon peace is war and war is peace and and which end is up, you know? And where is the truth? Where are the churches that are teaching the truth? How how important is truth? If we've got a government that has a board of peace or let's call it the office of faith, the department of faith. And the department of faith is head up by a woman, and we'll just call her Jezebel, and she's a heretic, and she's she's trying to get a $100,000 before she'll heal a child who's sick. You've gotta give me a 100 grands. God, alright. There's 50 over there. Alright. There's a 100 over there. Alright. Keep keep it going. Keep it going. And they're just running this big scam, this big con, and she's the director of the office of faith. She's the president's pastor. And and nobody says anything about it. It's a lie. It's a bold faced lie. It's like Jezebel leading the nation into the worship of Val and Ashtoreth. And it takes Elijah the prophet to challenge king Ahab and the 450 prophets of Baal and to show them that they're not gods. That Baal is not god. And there's this contest there, and you know the story. And Elijah slays the 450 prophets of Baal, but truth is important. He wasn't gonna allow that lie to permeate the whole culture. He was called to speak of the true and living God and to stand firm and not allow the people to believe a lie. And the the tribulation period's gonna be just so incredibly immersed with lies, but thankfully, Lord keeps it simple for us. It's really simple. Don't take the mark of the beast. If you find yourself in the tribulation period, just one thing to take with you today, don't take the mark of the beast. If you take the mark of the beast, you're gonna spend eternity in hell. So if you find yourself in the tribulation period and we're raptured, it's time for you to get right with Jesus. It's time for you to receive Christ into your heart and life. And your your faith is gonna be proven, because faith without works is dead, gonna be proven during the tribulation period in your refusal to believe the lies of the government, the lies of the antichrist who declares himself to be God, goes into the temple and demands to be worshiped as God. And you're gonna say, no way. I'm not doing that. No way, Jose. No way. Not gonna do that. And that that that gumption that you have and that faith that you have that you exercise in saying no to the lie and the liars is gonna be imputed unto you or proof of your righteousness, of your faith in Jesus Christ. So moving forward, be very very careful of AI. The the computer software, I just read this morning where one of the chips that Google has can do things, in three and a half minutes. It used to take three and a half years. And, they're moving faster and faster and faster with these chips and the technology and such, and they want all of the of the cameras and the microphones and and I'm and I'm watching where they even want you and I to have a body camera. And that body camera may be our phones, but they want you to have something on your person that can help them listen and record and watch everything you do and everybody around you is doing, you know. And so fascinating. And these data centers are being built all over the world. Kathy told me enormous amount of them on the East Coast are being built, and there's lack of water in these communities because these huge warehouse data centers need water and, to cool the computers. And it, I don't know about you, but our electric bill doubled, last month. A thousand dollars for two months. How could that happen? That's twice of what we used to pay. And I'm suggesting it to you that these AI data centers are gobbling up all the energy. They need the energy. So it's gonna hurt us to use the amount of energy that we need because, they're gonna they're gonna gobble it up. And so they're looking for alternative sources of energy to power these data centers. Why? Because information is important to them. They they can't be omniscient because they're not God. God is omniscient. He knows everything. Well, wanna record everything and bring forth a pseudo, a lying omniscience for the antichrist. And and so that's the importance of gathering together all this information. Now there was a time when Obama was president that the powers that be recognized because of the internet that we were onto them. Many of us truthers were onto them. And so Hillary Clinton made the the statement that we're losing the information war. And so they were, they were recognizing that they need to sell us on war. They need to sell us on a new world order. They need to sell us and convince us of these things, but we had alternative sources of media and we were we were catching them in their lives. And so it was stifling them. It was causing them to have to slow down. But hey, now nowadays, it doesn't matter because the Christians are so incredibly deceived. Why? Because the devil joined the church. You can watch Fox News and you think that's truth. And you're being lied to. You've you've been deceived. You've been deceived because they've taught you to hate Democrats. And because the Democrats and the Republicans are on the same team, you're able to be deceived because you go and you hear what you want to hear from Fox conservative news, they're not doing what they're telling you they're gonna do for you. They're doing the complete opposite, but it's neutralized you so that you don't speak up and expose the evil on both sides. You go along to get along because there's censorship, there's pressure for speaking up, and and you if you're a real truther, you could be killed, you know, if you speak the truth nowadays. They'll kill you. So they want control of information and and it's it's it's centered with control and with lies. It's a means of of controlling us. And so as we're looking the days and weeks ahead, is the economy going to crash at some point? Are we aware? Are we did we forget Epstein and all those files and all that? Where's war going in The Middle East? Is the Strait Of Hormuz gonna be, you know, choked and gasoline gonna reach, $10 a gallon? Do we have a solution for this? Is there gonna be peace in The Middle East? Are they gonna rebuild Gaza? Are they gonna rebuild the temple pretty soon? What's in play? What where are we going? Is Armageddon gonna happen? Is our military telling all the soldiers we're bringing forth Armageddon? Is that true or false? We as Christians, we know that's false. The antichrist is the one that brings forth Armageddon. Right? Jesus brings forth Armageddon. Right? He's the one that returns. And so we have a whole lot of lies, a replacement theology that somehow the church has replaced Israel. We have a preterist or an amillennial view of eschatology of of prophecy that it all happened in seventy AD. It's already done. It's historical, which is a Catholic view. But we as a protestants with a premillennial dispensationalist, we see that we're in the church age. We see prophecies fulfilled in Ezekiel thirty six and thirty seven of Israel becoming a nation, being reborn as a nation on 05/14/1948. And and we we celebrate that because Israel's back in the land as God said she would be. We see Gog, the leader of Magog with a coalition of Islamic nations, five nations, which would be the Sudan and Turkey and and Persia, Iran and Ethiopia and we see them coming against the nation of Israel as God puts a hook in their jaw, Ezekiel thirty eight and thirty nine, that's prophetic. There's a guy coming along that's gonna have a peace treaty maybe after Ezekiel thirty eight and thirty nine. And that peace treaty or that covenant is gonna be a one year and it's gonna it's not called the time of the church's trouble. It's called the time of Jacob's trouble because the church isn't here when that happens. And the time of Jacob's trouble is when God's gonna pour out his wrath upon Israel. So don't worry about Israel being immoral. God's gonna spank them. You don't need to be a hater of Israel. Your Messiah is a Jew. We love Israel and we recognize that they are in fact immoral, but God's gonna spank them. God's gonna God's gonna deal with them. Two thirds of them are gonna perish. So we don't need to hate. We don't need to hate any ethnic group or group of people. And when we're being sold war in regard to Iran, we don't need to hate Iran. We don't need believe the propaganda in regard to Iran. If we were to dig deeper, we'd see that the CIA and the Mossad has been funding a lot of these terrorist groups in the region to foster war, to bring forth war, to destabilize the people. So if you look at Iran, 2,000,000 Christians in Iran, fastest growing church in the world. So you may hate the ideology of Islam. You may hate those in government. I mean, how could you not hate our government, all these pedophiles? How could you love your own government when they're pedophiles? And they have been pedophiles. How how how can you deny the facts of their pedophilia, these main players? They want you to see it. Have you been neutralized or does it make you angry? Be angry and sin not, we're gonna see in a few verses here. How can you use that anger? How can it be used constructively? Because the wrath of man works not the righteousness of God. Are you angry enough to go in when you see the money changers, when you see the Jezebels making merchandise of the church? I posted one video a guy had there, he said, he said the I think it's something along the lines of, the people in the church are the stupidest people. They allow themselves to be robbed and the those robbing them don't even have a gun. They're just ripping you off, making merchandise, promising things they can't they can't fulfill, you know. And it's mind boggling to me to watch what the deception that's taking place, people not knowing the word of God and not knowing what to do. And during COVID, it was amazing to me how easily people were deceived. And who was behind that? Who were the people behind that? And you give them a free pass? You look the other way because he's gonna tell you what you want to hear? Is is that not the love of the world and the love of money that neutralizes you? You think you're gonna make America great? How great has he made America? What happened to that phrase? What happened to mega? It's not working. We're we're headed toward an economic collapse. Trump was hired to deceive. He was hired to build the beast system. The new world order and the new economic system. That's what he was hired. But we're neutralized because we believed a lie. Had they presented a democrat, we'd be awake. But bring in a wolf in sheep's clothing and we're neutralized. We'll put up with pedophilia. We'll put up with a genocide with a with a jab, the Warp Speed jab, because he's telling me what I wanna hear. Now I've now I've gotta try and compartmentalize and deal with a genocide in Gaza. I've gotta deal with Pacific Palace Palisades and and different parts of Hawaii, Lahaina, and other places where they're they're being decimated to build smart cities. But I act like that's a lie. That that's not true. Well, what's happening? What's what's the facts? The builders buying up this land? Are they building smart cities? Are they gonna build a smart city that Jared Kushner dreamt of in Gaza? Is it gonna be the Riviera they envision? Gotta get rid of all the people. Gotta move the people out. Is that is that the preparation where there's no more walls as it says in Ezekiel 38, where they're sitting in peace finally, and they think that they're safe, and that's the setting the stage for Gog leading Magog, these Islamic nations coming against Israel, five out of every six of that invading forces wiped out by God. God's the one that's gonna wipe them out. We don't need to start Armageddon. Ezekiel thirty eight thirty nine is not Armageddon. It's a smackdown of Islam. It's a smackdown of Russia. Magog is Russia and Russia at some point is gonna feel emboldened that America isn't there guarding Israel and that Israel's sitting there with unwalled villages and all. And alright, now it's time to go in and take Leviathan. It's time to take their energy, their natural gas and their minerals and such, and to stop them all together. Are they gonna rebuild the temple? Is the Dome of the Rock Mosque? Is the Temple Mount being bombed presently? Why is why is our government so much, our military, Pete Heads says, why do they wanna build that temple so bad? Help Israel build that temple. Falls right into prophecy, doesn't it? Because there needs to be a temple there for the antichrist to go into that temple and to create the biggest lie of all, declare himself to be God, demand to be worshiped as God. Isn't that the abomination of desolation? Isn't that the biggest lie of all that the devil is claiming that his in place of Jesus Christ is the Christ, the Messiah? How do you prepare the the people of the planet for this? How do you get them ready to receive a person like this? It's through deception. It's a dumbing down. The serpent beguiled Eve to eat the forbidden fruit. In acts five verse three, when, Ananias and Sapphira saw Barnabas sell some land and bring it laid at the disciples feet, they thought, hey, let's sell some land and let's let's lay it at the disciples' feet and they did. And Peter recognized that, hey, they'd held back part of the price, which was their prerogative, but they were lying, to the holy spirit. And so Peter said that Satan filled thine heart to lie to the holy ghost as Ananias lied. His wife Sapphira wasn't there and it it's kinda cute. It says here in five, and they brought in the young boys and the young guys rolled them up, picked them up, and took them to the grave. I thought, wow, rolled them up, you know. They do the mummy thing there. And then, Sapphira came in a little while later and she lied to the holy spirit. She dropped dead. The boys come in again. The young boys rolled her up, picked her up, and dropped her in next to her husband. Why? Because they lied to the holy spirit. Fear, great fear filled the whole entire church, the young church there. The holiness that the holy spirit was demanding upon these people at this time and man, you can drop dead just by lying back at that time. And how many of us are dropped dead right now, you know? It's amazing to me. In John sixteen thirteen, Jesus said, when the spirit of truth has come, he will guide you into all truth. So the holy spirit, Jesus was saying, it's expedient that I go. I'm gonna send the holy spirit. The holy spirit's the spirit of truth. When COVID happened, we don't just listen to the news and get our truth. We don't just listen to a doctor and get our truth. We pray. We seek the mind of the Lord. And we look at what's being said, and we fact check. We prove all things, hold fast to that which is good. We test everything. And then we ask the Holy Spirit to give us discernment, to give us wisdom. The spirit of truth is willing and ready. So when the spirit of truth has come, he will guide you into all truth for he shall not speak of himself, but whatsoever he shall hear that shall he speak. And he will show you things to come prophetically. We're being helped by the Holy Spirit for you and I to discern the times we're living in. We're watchmen. We're watching. We're aware. We're looking up knowing our redemption draws nigh. And the Holy Spirit is helping us to connect the dots with scripture that's already been laid out, already revealed, and to look at the events and the things that are taking place today, and to say, you know what? We're living in biblical times. The return of Jesus Christ is at the very door. The rapture's gotta be closed. How do we know? Because the beast system's being built. The one world economic system is in motion. The one world governance, governmental system is in motion. The one world religious system is in motion. And we're watching them come together. It's it's happening. And so if I'm in first Thessalonians five, I'm not surprised when I see the day of the Lord coming. I'm a child of light. It's not gonna overtake me as a child of darkness as a thief in the night. I'm aware. I'm aware it's coming. And I look in Luke and the Lord told me in in Luke 21, when you see these things begin to come to pass and look up knowing that your redemption draws nigh. So I know the times I'm living in. And I'm I'm not ignorant of the times I'm living in. I'm teaching prophecy. I'm a student of prophecy. And I have the help of the holy spirit to connect the dots, to connect the scripture, and to prove all things hold fast to that which is good. I'm a child of light. He says, verse 25, wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbor for we are members one of another. So fellowship with God and one another is based upon truth. How could your marriage be based upon a lie? That's called betrayal. You find out later your your spouse is unfaithful to you. You've been living a lie. And all the betrayal, all the hurt, the deep deep deep deep hurt as the two are coming together to become one, is there anybody I can trust? Is there anybody I can trust that'll be a truther, that'll tell the truth? And so put off lying. Secondly, put off anger. Verse 26. Be angry and sin not. Let not the sun go down upon your wrath. And so this is in the Greek, it's the permissive imperative. So it's not a command to be angry. It's a prohibition against sinning as the peril in anger. So in our selfishness, we can be overwhelmed with anger and then with that selfish anger, it can lead to wrath. So let not the sun go down upon your wrath. So a good rule of thumb for us as husbands and wives and parents is that we if we have a difference with one another, if we have a problem and it escalates to the point of exhibiting anger, we would call it getting into the flesh, your face gets red and you start spitting when you talk and, you know, I know this never happened to you guys because you're those people that never had an argument in fifty years of marriage. I know that. There's people like that. Right? My grandma told me that. Ricky, we're married sixty years. Never had an argument. Well, somebody's comatose. And grandma, somebody's somebody's already dead. You know? And and I heard one I heard one pastor recently saying, oh, I love this pastor. I love him so much. But he basically said to his wife, have I ever done anything to hurt you? And she thought about it and said, no, you have not. And I thought, wow. I I don't think I can get through an hour without hurting her. You know, what the heck? What a fool I am, you know? So somebody let me off the hook and said his wife was telling him that so that he'd feel good. You know? And sometimes you ladies can lie to make us feel good. That's okay. I guess. I don't know. But in any event, don't let the sun go down upon your wrath. So what that means is, you know, before you go to sleep at night, resolve differences. Don't let it stew. Don't let it fester. Don't let it grow. You don't wanna be sleeping on the couch for a whole week, you know. You wanna kinda nip that in the bud and kinda keep it keep it to a day. Keep it to half a day. Keep keep it to, you know, resolve it before you go to bed. And what I've learned as as and you guys can tuck this way, you better write it out, is this is so simple. When you're a brand new married couple, the guys are trying so hard to be dominant, to be the lord. It's his castle, you know. It's so hard to get your wife to submit. See what it says here, submit. And and you just lord over them. You're trying to dominate, trying to control them, and that's not what God is saying. You're to lay your life down for him. You're to make your life, you know, infectious that she wants to follow your leadership because you're so loving. You love her as Christ loved the church. And as you love her, she finds it easier and easier as she sees you, and this is this is critical. As she sees you in love with Jesus and he's the head of the home, then she recognizes that headship and she recognizes the authority in the home is the word of God. But if you're a filthy sinner, a liar, into porn, into all kinds of bad stuff, she's not gonna follow you. She's not gonna follow that ungodly leadership no matter how much you try to pressure into doing things or or give in to things that she knows to be, you know, ungodly. And if you don't wanna work, if you're not gonna provide, if you're not gonna protect and all that, she's not gonna follow your leadership. And you don't have to try and sabotage the whole thing to break it all down, you know, so that finally she's broken and then now she's all broken and putty in your hand and now you get to control and dominate her. Who wants that kind of a marriage? I like that Kathy smacks me back. You know? I like she hits me. You know? I'm just kidding. Just kidding. But I hear of I hear of women that have these obnoxious husbands, and, you know, I've heard recently that, yeah, you know, that she smacked him in the face and knocked out a couple of his teeth, and I'm like, right on. Right on. That's good. That's good. I mean, you'd have to know this guy to be cheering that one on, but but it can happen. And so so you you you you it's a tendency of immaturity to act that way. So forty years of marriage, let me forty four years of marriage. Let me tell you the easiest way of conflict resolution. It's in first Corinthians six. Paul says, why are you taking one another to court, you Christians? Why are you going to court before the secular people to resolve your differences? Know you not that one day you're gonna judge angels? And then here's the key. Why don't one of you take wrong? So that's my role. My role when we're in a fight is to say, honey, I'm sorry. I was wrong. And it's over. The the there's no sun going down on the wrath, you know? No no wrath. And 99.9 of the time, you know, it is my fault or whatever, but but I've learned that's the best way to resolve it is to not try and, you know, who can be the most stubborn and force force the issue or whatever. Maybe it's we're magnifying when you're young, you magnify, you make mountains out of molehills, you know. It's a little tiny thing and you're gonna magnify it, make it this big old huge thing. You don't need to do that. As you get older, it doesn't matter. It really doesn't matter. All these things, it really doesn't matter. Husbands, love your wives as Christ loved the church and gave himself for. You know? Husbands, take knowledge of your wives. And and that to me is the best way to resolve the conflict. You that are supposed to be strong, you know, why why can't you humble yourself? Why can't you see it from a different side? See see it from her perspective of what's happening? Why do you have to try and grind it out and prove that you're strong? I mean, that's that's a marriage that's not gonna last. Nobody can nobody can survive under that kind of leadership, you know. And so don't lord over the flock. Don't lord over. So let not the sun go down upon your wrath. And and the same in dealing with your children. Don't be don't be yelling and screaming and going crazy in the flesh and all. Expect your kids to behave themselves. Don't be using foul language and expect your children to not repeat the foul language, you know. When you at Christmas time, you when you watch I don't know if it's Toy Story or whatever it is, you know. You shoot your eye out kid, that one, that movie. The guy's there helping his dad do the spare tire along the road and he he hits the the hubcap and the lug the lug the lugs go all over the place. And then he says, oh, fudge, you know. But it wasn't fudge. And his dad's like alarmed and then they go home and they make a big deal of it. And it was his friend that did it and then they're screaming on the phone and all his friends getting in trouble because he he he he told on one of his friends that talks with that kind of language. And then the commentary is, I heard that language from my dad every day, you know. And parents sometimes act like, you know, your kids are not supposed to talk like that, but they hear it every day in your home. You don't want them to be angry at school and getting in fights and resolving conflict with anger and wrath, but they see conflict resolution in that way in their home, you know? And and so with the help of the holy spirit, we're gonna get through this and make a way, but every family's gotta find a way. And I've discovered that that that I'm the one that's wrong. That's what I've discovered more than anything. I'm the one that's put Kathy through so many things, and she's been so faithful, so incredibly faithful. I could never ever ever make it up to her. And and when she's you know, she she basically there's there's no there's no requirement on my wife. I don't I don't rule her. I don't give her an organizational plot plan for her life. She's a free agent. She's free to do whatever she wants. Are you guys like that? Do women feel freedom? Do you feel free? Do you feel free of criticism? Husband using words to condemn you and rule you and coerce you? Again, I was younger, I was a bigger idiot than I am today, and I did a lot of mean things trying to figure things out. Had some bad fights, you know, bad arguments. But God wants me to lay my life down. And anger, the wrath of man works not the righteousness of God. And and here's one more tidbit. My mom was a raging lunatic screamer and a drunk raging lunatic screamer. And she would throw stuff and just huge fights, all of her husbands. And man, I did not want a home like that. And I thank the Lord that Kathy's not like my mom, that she's sweet, but she's strong too. She could whack me across the lips if I'm not careful. So I like like them having chutzpah. I like them being spunky and and not gonna take it, you know. I like that. And I don't wanna rule over anybody. I made a big enough mess with my life. Why would I wanna try and rule over you guys, You know? Why would I try to rule over you know, to a certain degree, you have to have structure with your children. I get that. I understand that. And you've gotta rule from the standpoint of keeping them from hurting themselves, but there's a point where they're adults and they make their own decisions. You know? Grandparents are kinda cool because we get to watch the kids and it's not our responsibility. Grandparents don't spank. Do you know that? We don't spank our grandkids. Ain't that amazing? It's a it's a free zone. And the other night when we're over there babysitting them, I asked Isaiah. I said, hey, Isaiah, you know, what have you been doing? How's things going? And all that. And Isaiah, what are we gonna do tonight? What movie are we gonna watch? What are we gonna do tonight? And and they're all kinda on their switches. When they're on their switches, they're busy, you know. It's real quiet. And finally, said to him, Isaiah, do you want me to think of some stuff that we can do that will all get in trouble? And then and then he started laughing. Because that's what papas do. Right? We we think of things that we can do and and it's fun. So be angry and sin not. Let not the sun go down upon your wrath. It's the permissive imperative. It's not a command to be angry up to prohibition against sinning as the peril in anger. It can escalate. But what about righteous indignation? Righteous indignation anger that Jesus exhibited. In Psalm seven eleven, it says, God is angry with the wicked every day. And boy, I see people angry with the democrats every day. And when you're pointing the finger at the democrat, there's three pointing back at you. The republicans are just as wicked as democrats. Do you think it's only democrats on Epstein Island? Give me a break. Only democrats on Pizzagate, these are all pedophiles. That's how they're controlled by their controllers with the videos and all of it. You don't do what you what you're supposed to. You can't even be in the club until you're compromised, till they have leverage on you. They're just puppets and they're actors and they have a script. And when you finally understand that, you're set free from the propaganda on Fox News and all the other newsreels. You're finally set free. And you begin to see the playbook and you can spot it because it's repeated. I'm expecting a false flag. I'm expecting a big building or something to be hit to be blamed on Iran. To distract us from the whole economy imploding, I'm expecting them to blame it on the Strait Of Hormuz. It's the Iranian's fault. They choke the Strait Of Hormuz. The whole economy tanked because we didn't have oil, and yet America can produce more oil than the rest of the world. We got plenty of oil, plenty of energy. But all somehow somehow, they're to blame. They gotta blame somebody. You gotta play the blame game. But it's never it's I mean, president Trump's family has already gained $13,000,000,000 of wealth from January in making a crypto coin that the nation of Pakistan is already using, where you take what dollars you have and you tie it with the Trump crypto. $13,000,000,000 personally, and the Trump boys are out there promoting it to everybody. Personally. Gonna gain that wealth because they know they're transferring out of the dollar into the crypto digital currency, which there can be several of them at first and but all tied in with the Bank of International Settlements. I mean, so how's he gonna get people to not think that's wrong? They're gonna tell you that you too can do that and you can get rich. They're gonna appeal to your lust, your covetousness, and you're gonna give up your freedom for a lie. God is angry with the wicked every day. In Mark chapter three verse four, Jesus was in the synagogue in the Galilee area and he's gonna, heal a man with a withered hand, and it happened to be the Sabbath day. And they were there, and I looked up what they is. It was the Pharisees and the Herodians were there, and they're looking, you know, and watching, just waiting for Jesus to do that on the Sabbath day. And Jesus asked him a question, trying to reason with him. Is it okay to do good on the Sabbath or evil? Is it okay to save life or to take life? You guys evaluate that, you know. And then he caused the man with the withered hands, hand to be healed. But Jesus was looking with anger at these pharisees and Herodians that were there trying to catch him in doing something wrong, you know, on the on the Sabbath day. He looked with anger. Now, when I think of Jesus looking with anger, I don't want him to look at me that way. He looks at me with compassion when I fall. The only way I'm gonna get a spanking is if I'm rebellious. If I continue, and so now I'm in Hebrews 12, whom he loves, he chastens and spanks us. Right? But it's for correction. It's to get me going in the right direction again. But I think of Peter when he denied the Lord on three different occasions on on one night, and and when on that third time, it says that he looked and Jesus looked at him. And I think of that look and with Peter, it wasn't a look of anger. It was a look of Peter. And I don't even know if it's a look of I told you so. More of a look of Peter, I love you. And Peter, I'm I haven't given up on you. And I know this is breaking your heart, Peter. But in this brokenness, I'm gonna I'm gonna build you up spiritually, Peter. You're gonna be stronger after the resurrection than you've ever been because you're gonna rely upon me and not upon yourself. As you rely upon yourself, you'll fail. And so he's learning lessons there, but Jesus looked with a look of compassion and it's the kindness of God, Romans two verse four, that leads us to repentance. It's that kindness, that love that God is bestows upon us even when we fail that makes me want to do that which is right. And I believe that's that love that needs to be in the marriage and with our children where there's a godly spiritual leadership in the home. It's the love that you have for your wife, the love that you have for your children that compels them and motivates them to live in submission to the bible, in submission to God's word, which you are exhibiting and directing as the head of the home. And as you love, you're inspiring obedience. Like Joseph in his love for the Lord, how can I do this great evil against God when he's tempted by Potiphar's wife? And so love is the greatest the greatest motivator, the greatest means of of wanting to follow. And it's the love of the Lord that leads me to repentance. It's his kindness that leads me to repentance. And so we we see that. And then in John two fifteen, Jesus whipped the bankers out of the temple. He actually put together a scourge with several layers and the money changers were in there. They had the sheep and the oxen, yeah, because of the sacrifices. And then they had the doves and that, and then they had the money changers because you could only use the temple shekel. So if you came from other parts of the world and you had different denominations, different groups of coinage, the money changers would change it and give you the exchange rate that was beneficial to them. Jesus saw this business, Church Incorporated, this business, and he took a whip and he whipped all those guys. So you think of Jesus, he's not this wimpy guy. He's strong enough to take a whip in his hand and to take these men and throw over their tables. They're not little tiny card tables. These tables in many cases are like big rock, you know, granite type tables. He's throwing the tables over and then he's whipping them, herding them all out of the temple. Do you think Jesus is afraid of man? Do you think Jesus couldn't call down 12 legions of angels and wipe everybody out if he wanted to as Peter cut off Malchus' ear? Of course, he could. One angel slew a 185,000 of of Senecarib's host that was coming against Hezekiah. Just one angel. 185,000. So meekness is not weakness. It's strength under control. No man takes his life from him. He willingly lays it down. But if he wants to demonstrate strength to these guys who are plotting to kill him, he's gonna whip him and usher him out of the out of the temple. Now that was in John two where the first Passover was starting. He did it again three and a half years later at the last Passover, six days before the Passover, the Passover that he was gonna die on as the lamb of God, he did it again. And boy, they hated him for it, didn't they? In Matthew twenty one twelve, he turned over the tables again. In Matthew twenty three thirty three, he says, you serpents, you generation of vipers. How can you how can you escape the damnation of hell? So it's not passive. This righteousing to the nation is not passive. You're not neutralized. You don't just go along to get along. There's things that anger you. You should be angry about the pedophilia. You should be angry that the next leg to fall or the next movement is legalization of pedophilia. That should anger you, cause your blood to boil. That pretty soon it's gonna be legal to prey upon these children. If if you're neutralized and you don't care about something like that, you're you're already done. You're you're done as a nation, as a culture. It's over. If you can't protect the most innocent, do you know there's more babies killed by their mothers through abortion than any other way of murder? More than the wars, all of it put together, but we're neutralized because Roe versus Wade is no. There's more abortions taking place now than ever before. It's just done through The States. You're not hearing about it. It's done globally. Population reduction doesn't make you angry. My dad used to go to the operation rescue in front of the abortion clinics years ago. He used to stand out on the sidewalks with a little plastic little baby in his hand trying trying reason with the ladies going in there to not have that abortion. Left a profound impact upon my upon my daughters. And but he wasn't a raving lunatic there. He just spent his time there incensed within his heart that people would do this to children, and so he tried to stand against it. You serpents, you generation of vipers. How can you escape the damnation of hell? Look at his word choice. He he's not Pollyanna ish. He's he's using some strong words to get their attention. And he's letting them know about hell. And he's letting them know again as he did in John eight that their father's the devil. Jesus said he came not to bring peace but a sword. What's the sword? Your greatest weapon is truth. The way that I see us is we are truthers. And I will stand for the truth and I'll stand up against Mega. I'll stand up against any lie there is in hopes that your eyes will be opened. And I've already been vindicated. Already, I've been vindicated. And nobody's come back and said, pastor, you were right. They doubled down. But I'm not backing off. I'm not gonna get caught up in the political game of trying to build the church by demonizing democrats, demonizing Iran, and then jump on the war wagon and we're doing something righteous. As the whole economy, the global economy is collapsing, the b system's being built, And that's what's really happening under the radar. Crisis reaction solution. Edmund Burke said, all that is necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing. Well, pastor, what do you want us to do? Be a truther. In verse 11 of chapter five, have no fellowship with them, fruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them. Simply expose the lies. Don't believe what Fox News is saying. Shut it off. Don't get caught up in the Tucker Carlson, Candace whatever and all this crazy stuff. Don't get caught up in all that. Be biblical. Think biblically. Be able to point out how their their arguments are unbiblical. That's what a truther does. And as we said, the the holy spirit will bring to remembrance and show you the truth. Real easy when they say we're ushering in Armageddon. Well, I know my bible. No. You're not, Pete Hezekiel, of war. You're not ushering in Armageddon. This isn't a noble thing that you're doing, getting your soldiers to think you're bringing in Armageddon that's gonna bring Christ back? That's craziness. And so anybody, even people that have only been with me three, four four years, five years are able to articulate and explain, oh, no. No. No. No. There there's a peace treaty that's signed and seven year tribulation period. The midpoint, the antichrist goes in there. Everybody's anybody that's been studying with me knows that much. Because I never shut up. I keep repeating myself because it's pertinent, because it's the time we're living in. It's important to be a truther. And recently with pastor Billy Crone, when he brings in the Trump paradox, it's beautiful because it's everything I've been telling you for five years, six years. And he's getting a lot of a lot more covering a lot more ground than I could. And, he's doing a great job of waking people up to the 10 toes and the 10 horns, the 10 kings, and the club of Rome, the technique, and all these things that we've been studying and studying more than once. Through the book of Daniel twice, book of revelation twice. And I told you before the election, the reason I was voting for Trump was because he would usher the return of Jesus Christ in much sooner. Amen. Because he would build the beast system. And the very first day in office, which Billy Crone puts in his five d d DVD set, I've said to you many times, he did the Stargate Project, half $1,000,000,000,000, $500,000,000,000 for Palantir, for Peter Thiel, and Alex Karp, and Elon Musk, and all the technocrats to have the funding they need to build this grid, this digital control system with satellites and all of it. Do you hear about that very much? Any churches mentioning that? But that's what's happening. That's truth. But if people aren't aware of what's going on, if they're distracted, then it happens as in a moment someday, all the banks are shut down, you can't get your account money out, everything stopped, stock market's gone, your retirement's gone, and now your only choice is you move into the digital system. That's where we're headed. Could he win an election based upon that ahead of time? Did he tell everybody that? No. But now, he's got nothing to lose. Right? Now he's moving that direction. They're all moving that direction. The communist revolution in China genocided over forty million of its own people who we would call truthers. You're a threat to the liars if you're a truther. If you're educated, if you're a teacher, you're a threat to the ideology of Islam and communism because you know too much. You you can expose their lies. And so they deal with you by incarcerating you or killing you. The globalist model presently is censorship, propaganda, and if you don't toe the line, we'll Charlie Kirk you. We'll assassinate you publicly. If you start to say anything about 09:11, if you start to speak concerning Israel and the Gaza genocide, we're gonna silence you. Not allowed to think, not allowed to speak the truth. And I love Israel, but it doesn't mean everything Israel does, they get carte blanche, they they that they are moral with everything they do. That would be inconsistent. That would mean being compromised and a liar. So you have to speak the truth. You have to prove all things hold fast that which is good and lay it out. Tolerance is evil is not of God. Psalm ninety seven ten says, ye that love the Lord hate evil. Verse 26, be angry and sin not, let not the sun go upon your wrath. So selfish anger is wrath. And James says, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath. Swift to hear. So listen, pastor Romaine used to say, you got two ears, you got one mouth. Let the ears use the ears, swift to hear, slow to speak, and slow to wrath. For the wrath of man works not the righteousness of God. He says, neither give place to the devil. And so we don't wanna give in to the devil in the flesh and sow and stew upon this anger and and act in that anger. And so as we selfishly stew in anger, it becomes malice, it's slow burning, then it explodes in wrath, and that this is, the first step toward murder. Jesus said, if you're angry with your brother in this way, you've already committed murder. It's already emanates in your heart. It starts in your heart. So take that and forgive the person. Forgive them quickly. Don't stew in it. Send it away. Send it away. Don't stew. When you're wronged, forgive the person. Immediately forgive them. Now that doesn't mean restore fellowship because Luke seventeen one through three says, if they repent, forgive them in the sense of restoring fellowship. But you and I, from Matthew 18, if somebody wrongs us, we gotta forgive them because otherwise it'll mess up my heart. It'll develop into bitterness and anger and and and stuff. So I need to get rid of that. I need to have the attitude of Jesus, father forgive them for they know not what they do. I need to have the attitude of Stephen, Lord, lay not this sin to their charge. So I can go to verse 42. Right? Be kind one to another, tender hearted, forgiving one another even as God for Christ's sake has forgiven you. If Christ has forgiven me, and I see that in Matthew 18, a million dollar debt's been forgiven to me, why would I go choke my neighbor because he owes me $50? Now I need to forgive my neighbor, do the best I can to love my neighbor, but it doesn't mean we're gonna have fellowship because he's wronging me, continually wronging me, But I don't want his wronging of me to control me and to bring me to a place where it's hindering my fellowship with the Lord. So it may compel me to be on my knees and to pray for my neighbor that he'll get saved. Maybe that's why the Lord brought him into my life. I made the mistake of praying for patience and the Lord brought a neighbor like that into my life. Never pray for patience. Proverbs fifteen one, a soft answer turns away wrath, but grievous words stir up anger. The devil tricks us into the flesh. Pastor Chuck used to tap his arm when he was being provoked by people in class. We had some guys provoking him, acting like they're super smart in the Greek, and I watched him tap his arm and later on, somebody explained to me, he's reminding himself, don't react in kind, don't react in the flesh, don't get into the flesh. And a lot of times, it's it's best to just ignore the fools. Facebook's like that. As I said last week, one of the best things I learned on Facebook is I don't go on your sites and attack you. I put information out there that I'm trying to educate people with, and hopefully, it's getting through to a few people. But when a person comes on my site and starts to attack me, my first inclination is trying to reason with them. I'll give them scriptures and spend some time helping them, but man, they go crazy, don't they? They just they just whoo. So what I'm learning is delete them, block them, unfriend them, and then there's peace on my side. Because I don't go on your sites even though I see a lot of stuff maybe that I disagree. That's none of my business. That's your site. Maintain your site. And and so in some ways, it it backed me down a little bit. It's like, god, do I really wanna avail myself to a bunch of idiots? You know? It's just like, it opens the door for just crazy waste of time. But and I think it's alienated me from a lot of people because it's it's not what people wanna hear, but, you know, during the Flat Earth thing or any of this beast stuff or all this stuff, it's it's important that we identify what's wrong and try and rescue people from believing lies. And I've got a site that I follow now. It's called died suddenly, and it goes through all the tons of stories of people who have died suddenly from the jab, the vaccines and such. And the evidence is overwhelming now that we were lied to. Overwhelming. What did we do with it? Did anybody go to jail? Anybody get in trouble for killing people, lying to people? Well, it helped me to be ready next time to be wiser. So put off lying, put off anger. Thirdly, put off stealing. Let him that stole, steal no more. Thou shall not steal. Adam and Eve stole the forbidden fruit, didn't they? My house shall be called a called of all nations, a house of prayer, but you've made a den of thieves. And so the church incorporated the money, the merchandising of people, you're stealing from people. In John ten ten, Jesus said that the thief comes not but to steal, to kill, and to destroy the devil. That's what he does. That's his strategy. In in John chapter 12, Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead in chapter 11 and Lazarus is there and Mary and Martha and Martha excuse me, Mary takes a alabaster of ointment that's worth 300p, Judah said, very very costly and she anoints Jesus for his burial. And and Judah says, well, you know, this money, this ointment could have been sold and given to the poor. And Jesus said, the commentary is that that Judas said this because he held the bag. He was the treasurer, and he used to dip into the treasury, and so he was coveting that money. But Jesus said, the poor you have with you always do good things with them, but she's anointing me for my burial. She's worshiping me in that way. He says, but rather let him labor working with his hands the thing which is good that he may have to give to them that need us. So when Elon Musk tells you that you're not gonna have to work anymore, that you're gonna have a universal high basic income, he's lying to you. How do I know? Because the curse within the garden of Adam and Eve is that you're gonna work. It's part of the curse. So as a Christian, it doesn't mean that you get the loaves and the fishes and never have to work again. You have to work. And if you work, let him that stole steal no more. Get a job. Work. And then you'll have an abundance where you'll be able to help people that can't work. Ain't that great? It's more blessed to give than it is to receive. To be able to be productive and develop your skill set and be able to use that skill set in such a way that you provide not only for yourselves, but your wife, your children, your family, and then you're able to also help to give to the poor, as Judas was so concerned. But if you don't work, you're not gonna be able to do that, and you're gonna be in a position where, hey, maybe I should steal. Maybe I should go out stealing, you know, which is there's no future in that, is there? Especially and now remember, he's talking to Christians. So in the past, BC days used to be liars. Don't lie anymore. Don't be a rager, that anger. Don't be stealing. Maybe used to steal. Don't don't be stealing anymore. Get a job. Work. Produce. Exercise your skill set. The gifts that God's given you. And so work is good. The thief on the cross, one of them reviled at Jesus, and the other one said, no. He's done nothing amiss. He's done nothing wrong. We're getting our just due and that we were thieves, and we're dying because we're thieves. And then he said, Lord, remember me when you're in your kingdom. Jesus said, this day you'll be with me in paradise. God stands ready to forgive all of us liars, all of us ragers, all of us those of us that steal. And fourth, says, put off trash talking. Put off talking trash, verse 29. Now I think this is personally as a pastor for thirty years, I think the tongue trash talking in a church is the most unloving, the most destructive part of being a pastor and being in a church. Presently, I think we've seen it destroy enough churches. We're from a bunch of different churches that we don't want it to happen here. And so you guys are loving on one another. You're using your tongue to edify one another, build one another up. You're not using your tongue to tear down, to gossip, to slander. That will destroy. Oh my lord. Does that destroy fellowship? Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth. Corrupt means rotten, putrid fruit, a trash mouth. No cussing pastor. There used to be a pastor in the Northwest that was known as the cussing pastor, and the kids the kids thought it was funny. And he'd also brewed beer, and he said, what would Jesus brew? And he also wrote a manual of how to have sex with a with your wife, and and he included some really bad stuff in that book. And and I'm amazed that he's not only a pastor, but he went down to Arizona, and he's got a church now of 5,000 and just bought a building for $15,000,000. A cussing, drinking, putrid pastor, doing things to his wife that I can't even repeat. Foul mouth, bad witness. It's an unruly evil full of deadly poison and very destructive to a fellowship that of the tongue can no man tame, James said. Just you can even be speaking things that are true about somebody, but it's gossip, it's slander, and it tears them down, it tears down their reputation. But that which is good to the use of edifying that it may minister grace under the hearers. So you use your words to build up, not to tear down. Ecclesiastes ten twelve says, the words of a wise man's mouth are gracious, but the lips of a fool will swallow up himself. And then we living in a military community during World War two, you like the chemtrailing to put a cover, a cloud cover over the area. You got submarines and all sorts of ships here, and so loose lips sink ships. Right? You don't wanna be talking too much. In John chapter eight, there was a woman brought to Jesus in the very act of adultery supposedly. They didn't bring the man though. Brought the woman and they were testing Jesus and and the law says, Moses says, this woman caught in the very act that she should be stoned. They're testing him. And Jesus ignored him and he went down to the ground with the finger of God that wrote the 10 commandments. The finger of God that wrote on the wall in Daniel chapter five, many, many, tekel, eupharsen. And Belteshazzar thought he got some bad liquor. Right? And he didn't know what was going on. And you've been weighed in the balance and found wanting, Belteshazzar. Your kingdom's divided from you and given to the Medes and the Persians. Right? And that finger of God is riding on the dust of the ground. And Jesus looks up at him and he says, he that is without sin cast the first stone. And from the eldest, each one began to leave the room there, leave that place. And and then Jesus stoops back down and continues to write, and he looks back up and it's only the woman standing there. And he says, where are thine accusers? So if you're in Revelation chapter 12 verse 10, the devil's the accuser of the brethren. He tells the truth about me. Just as I tried to tell the truth to you about how I get in arguments with Kathy and how I resolve conflict by admitting wrong. I'm telling you the truth. I'm being transparent. I'm not trying to posture myself like I've never got in an argument, you know. So the devil can tell a lot of truth about Rick Baudry, what a bad guy he is. But the heavenly truth is, God gave me amazing woman that can put up with me. She loves me. So love overrules what's true about me bad. And not only that, the blood of Jesus has washed away all my sins and continually washes away all my sins. So the devil's lying because he's using condemnation pointing me to the pit of hell. Kathy can point out things that are wrong with me. I can point out things to her. We can point out things that are wrong in the Trump administration because that's the truth. But we're not condemning these people like they're all going to hell. That's only God can do that. So we see this woman here, she's being condemned to go to hell and Jesus said, where are thine accuser? And she says, no, we're Lord. And he says, neither do I condemn thee. But here's the truth, go and sin no more. Because if you continue to sin in this way, it's gonna destroy you. So we get into chapter five, we're gonna see the issue of fornication and lust and all these things in chapter five, and we're to walk in love, not in lust. And the woman caught in the act of adultery, she's got a problem there. She's given into that, but this may be her come to Jesus moment. As as it says in John three seventeen, for God sent not a son of the world to condemn the world, but the world through him might be saved. So the accuser of the brethren is the prosecuting attorney before a just and a holy God. And Jesus, the defense attorney, saying, father, he's one of mine. Look at the scars. The scars that I bore on the cross of Calvary, he's one of mine. It's my blood that's washed away. That's not who he is anymore. That's not his identity. He's a saint. He's gone from a sinner to a saint. He's mine. So go and sin no more. Repent of your sin. Don't continue in this destructive lifestyle. And so we see that it's because of his kindness that we come to repentance. So in response to his kindness and saving us, we're to put off these five sins. Put off lying, put off anger, put off stealing, put off talking trash, and fifthly and finally, put off bitterness. Verse 30. And grieve not the holy spirit of God whereby you are sealed under the day of redemption. So don't resist or quench or lie or grieve the holy spirit. I've seen churches get sick. I've pastored a church that was healthy and unbeknownst to me behind the scenes, a lot of trash talking going on. And in time, I I had right. I couldn't hold it off. I tried to teach from the pulpit. I tried to address it. I tried to get people to love. I tried to stop it as best I could, and I just couldn't stop the small little Choraditha and the Byram group that just kept poisoning and poisoning, moving about poisoning. And eventually, they'll pull away like 30 people or whatever, and if you're a church of 50, you got 20 left, you know. I've seen that happen so many times. And it's usually a it's usually a means of gaining control. It's a power struggle, and they don't have any specific thing that we're doing wrong. It's they just they just wanna be in power. And and you gotta stand your ground, you gotta protect the weak because they wanna pontificate and rule over the weak, and and it's brutal. So I've seen the church get sick. I've seen where the holy spirit's grieved and quenched, and what we used to see God doing in a miraculous way. I've seen it just quench and stop, and and I've seen the devil gain victory. And the sweetness is gone, and people leave, and and it's like, what happened? Well, we did it to ourselves. You can't blame the devil. You can't blame the Northwest for being dark. You gotta look in the mirror. We did it to ourselves. We quit loving one another. What'd you expect? But we're better than that. Right? You were sealed under the day of redemption, which speaks of the engagement ring. You're not a sinner anymore. You're a saint. You're betrothed to Jesus. Act like it. Act like a bride of the king. Don't be going into the gutter. And you're awaiting his return. You wanna be watching. You wanna be ready. You wanna be being filled with the holy spirit. He says, verse 31, let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and evil speaking be put away from you with all malice. So Paul's talking to the church of Ephesus. He knows the problem of the tongue. He knows where it goes. With the I'm of Paul, I'm of Apollos, I'm of Cephas, and the factious groups, the church of Corinth and all. And he says, you're carnal, you're babes in Christ. Grow up. Quit doing that. I'm becoming of a Christian. This isn't who Christians are. You may have been like that in other groups before, but this this grieve not. Keep yourselves in the love of God, Jude 21. Don't hate. And then a very good example of Joseph in Genesis chapter 50 verse 17. Jacob's dead. The boys are wondering what Joseph's gonna do when dad's dead. And the boys come to Joseph and says, forgive I pray thee now, the trespass of thy brethren and their sin for they did evil unto thee. And now we pray thee forgive the trespass of the servants of the God of your father. And Joseph wept when they spake unto him. So you know the story, they sold Joseph into slavery. And he spent from the time he was 17 till the time he was 30 being mistreated as a prisoner. And then God miraculously raised him to second command of that only pharaoh, and then Jacob came down with the other boys because of a famine. And the 70 came down, God formed a a nation. But after Jacob's demise, the boys are thinking Joseph's gonna get even with us now. But it says, Joseph grieved not the holy spirit. He habitually for many years let not the sun go down upon his wrath. He forgave them long ago. His heart was kind, free of bitterness. Cultivate that love. Cultivate that kindness in your heart. The devil wants to steal your faith. The devil wants you to be embittered with God and angry at God, and then it'll spring forth being angered and bitter toward others. The people that I saw that were the most corrupt or unloving or mouthy, it was because vertically they didn't have much of a walk with the Lord. And so what they do is they want to take out their anger on someone they can see because they can't punch God in the face. So they wanna punch you or your wife or your kids or someone in the church in the face. They wanna cause trouble because they're really the root of it is they're out of fellowship with God. Something happened in their life that didn't work out quite right, and you try to negotiate with them, help them help them discover their gifts and get moving and and all, but in many cases, you you lose in that that desire to free them up. His heart was free of bitterness. Says verse 18 of Genesis 50, and his brethren also went and fell down before his face and they said, behold, we be thy servants. And Joseph said unto them, fear not for am I in the place of God? And so you got Jacob wanting him to forgive. You got the boys asking for forgiveness. Behold, we be thy servants and Joseph said unto them, fear not for mine, place of God. Tear us human to forgive us divine. But as for you, verse 20, you thought evil against me, but God meant it unto good. There's Romans eight twenty eight. All things working together for good, for those who love God and are called according to his purpose. You meant evil against me, but God meant it for good to bring to pass as it is this day to save much people alive. Now therefore, fear you not for I will nourish you and your little ones and be comfort of them and spake kindly unto them. So you love God, church of Ephesus, don't leave your first love. Love God, love the saints and love the sinners, love the lost, and that'd be a healthy church. And be kind one to another, tender hearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake has forgiven you. So don't grieve the Holy Spirit, be kind, forgive as you have been forgiven. The people are lying. They're crying out, crucify him. Crucify him. Let his blood be upon us and upon our children. You know, and Pilate knew that for envy he was delivered and all. And what was Jesus' response? Father, forgive them for they know not what they do. Stephen is stoned to death in acts chapter seven and his response, as he's looking up to heaven and Jesus stood, give him a standing ovation, his face is shining like that of an angel. Lord, lay not this sin to their charge. Forgive them, Lord. Forgive these people. It's his kindness that leads us to repentance. In Lamentations chapter three, Jeremiah is there and he's seen the city totally devastated and wiped out. For forty years, he's been ministering to these people telling them one message, repent. They will not repent. They will not stop doing their evil. Finally, God brings the judgment that he'd been saying was coming through Nebuchadnezzar and the Babylonians. Cities wiped out. People are black, their skin black from from famine and pestilence and so many things from the seeds that's around the city. And Jeremiah is sitting there watching. And he says it's because of the Lord's mercies. It's because of the Lord's mercies that we're not completely consumed, you know. Great is thy faithfulness, he said. His mercies are new every morning. So when I blow it, I don't let the sun go down on the wrath. I try to I try to make it right before that day's over. Because I know that the Lord's mercies are new every morning, that I get a fresh new start the next day. And I might make it three hours or four hours before I hurt Kathy. Right now, my my record is maybe an hour. Driving in here, I probably hurt her. I prayed with her before we started. I probably hurt her there. I don't know. It's just I don't understand women, but always hurt. I'm just teasing, but his mercies are new every morning. It's not a it's not a game changer. It's not a end of the world. It's not let's get a divorce. Let's quit, you know. Let's let's let this escalate. No. Let's forgive. Let's talk this out. Let's come now, let us reason together. We have more in common. We have more good. We have more things we agree upon than this one little thing that the enemies come in here to cause us to magnify and make it far bigger than what it really is. You're being deceived. It's his kindness. Are you here this morning to repent of something? Has your unrepentant sin become bitterness? Are you contemplating divorce? Are you contemplating an affair? Are you contemplating doing something that negates and ruins everything God's trying to build and do through you because of bitterness in your heart? You didn't get your way. Or you're believing a lie. You think there's something better out there, someone better out there. God made a mistake. You married the wrong person. You're being lied to. The problems internal, the problems within. Get right with God. Allow God to change your heart. Put off your sins. Lying, anger, stealing, trash talking, bitterness. Do you trash talk about your spouse in front of your kids? If you're praying for your spouse, you don't have time to trash talk. Love or lust, chapter five. Love or lust, and be kind one to another, tender hearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake has forgiven you. Do do do do do. Ephesians four thirty two. Let's pray. Father, we thank you. I thank you, Lord, for the simplicity. It's just so simple. We're to love. We're to forgive. We're to be kind. We can't do it, Lord, in the arm of the flesh. We need your help. We need the help of your Holy Spirit to empower us, to love the people closest to us. I can't love Kathy or the kids without your help, Lord. I'm selfish to my core, but Lord, you're changing me. The flesh is crucified, walking in that newness of life, Lord, taking every day, taking our cross up and following you. The days that we choose to be selfish are the hardest days to get through Lord. The days that we die to self, we have your help. We have the help of the Holy Spirit to smooth over all the rough edges, to change us from within, to transform us, to get us Lord to have that capacity to love. Things don't mean as much. Things don't bother us as much. We're not on the edge of ready to lose it. We have peace, we have joy, we have kindness within our heart, the fruit of the spirit. So help us Lord, to live the Christian life in the fullness of your spirit bearing fruit, that people would see our love, that they'd know we're Christians. Help us to be kind, Lord, to put off the old and put on the new. In Jesus' name we pray. And while your heads are bowed, as you as you continue to pray, is there anybody here this morning, you don't have a relationship with Jesus. You don't know him. God's calling you to repent. God's calling you to turn from your sin and cry out to God, God be merciful to me a sinner. Put away the lying. Put away the sin. Confess that sin. Bring it out and allow God to wash and cleanse you and make you new. Anyone here this morning, just lift your hand up. We wanna pray with you as you receive Christ. Anyone this morning? So father, we thank you. We thank you for the peace that we enjoy, the assurance of salvation, the blessing of knowing you, your kindness, your mercies that are new each morning. Bless this fellowship, bless this body of believers that Lord we would act, that we would apply by loving one another as you love us in Jesus name. Amen.
