2 Corinthians 11:3,15 -Seduction- Pastor Rick Beaudry 2025-06-01

Seduction is our topic and would you please stand with me as we read God's holy word together. Second Corinthians chapter 11 beginning with verse three. But I fear lest by any means as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtlety, so your mind should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. For if he that cometh preaches another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if he receive another spirit which he have not received, or another gospel which he have not accepted, you might well bear with him. For I suppose I was not a wit behind the very chiefest apostles, But though I be rude in speech, yet not in knowledge, but we have been thoroughly made manifest among you in all things. I have committed an offense in abasing myself that ye might be exalted because I have preached to you the gospel of God freely. I robbed other churches taking wages of them to do you service. And when I was present with you and wanted, I was chargeable to no man for that which was lacking to me. The brethren which came from Macedonia supplied in all things I have kept myself from being burdensome unto you, and so will I keep myself. As the truth of Christ is in me, no man shall stop me of this boasting in the regions of Achaia. Wherefore, because I love you not, God knows, but what I do, that I will do, that I may cut off occasion from them which desire occasion, that wherein they glory, they may be found even as we. For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ. And no marvel, for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore, it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness, whose end shall be according to their works. Father, thank you for your holy word. And Lord, we don't wanna be deceived. We don't wanna follow a false gospel. We don't wanna be led by a false spirit, the spirit of the age in which we're living, the spirit of antichrist. Lord, we don't wanna be led away from the glorious gospel. We wanna continue walking that straight and narrow path with that which you've given us. We wanna glean. We wanna learn. We wanna grow in-depth in our in our understanding of who you are. We wanna get to know you better and better and better like we studied last week in this marital relationship. Lord, we wanna go deep. We wanna be intimate. We want to, know you intimately, Lord. Not just head knowledge. Knowledge puffs up, but love edifies. Lord, we wanna truly know you. And when we hear a lie, when we hear something that does not mesh with your word or with the holy spirit. Lord, we pray that a red flag would go up within our hearts, that, Lord, you'd remind us of the scripture that refutes those lies. And, Lord, that we'd continue to walk in fellowship, that straight and narrow path as in Psalm one meditating upon your word day and night. So bless we pray. Pour out your holy spirit. Lead and guide us into all truth. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen. Would you please be seated? In Matthew 24 verse four, Jesus said, take heed that no man deceive you. And, in verse five, for many will come in my name saying I am Christ and shall deceive many. That's twice in Matthew 24. The third time in verse 11, he said that there would be false Christs and false prophets that would come along and, and don't be deceived by them. And then he says in verse 24, that if it were possible, they'd be able to deceive even the very elect, these false prophets. So we, in the last days, are being inundated with the artificial intelligence, or as one guy coined it, the alien intelligence, because it's a demonic intelligence. And, and we we, can go online and we can ask any topic and it seems a lot of the truth has been scrubbed and moved around. And, AI can can, chat GPT, all of it can come in there and they can sound so close to the truth and yet be off, you know, a mile so to speak. And, we as Christians, we need to gain a greater and greater knowledge and understanding of what the gospel is. We need a greater and greater, depth of relationship with the Holy Spirit because the Holy Spirit, has promised that, Jesus said when he sends a comforter, the comforter would guide us into all truth and teach us of things to come. And so we don't want to be those, led astray. And it's just so strange how even churches are being led astray. Carl came up to me and told me about a church in our community that recently said they're not gonna pray for Israel anymore. What? What? What happened? Why wouldn't you pray for Israel? Why wouldn't you pray for the peace of Jerusalem? Why would you succumb to antisemitism? You know, I mean, that's just so illogical, irrational, unbiblical. You know, there's a blessing in Genesis 12 that God says, I'll bless those that bless you and curse those that curse you. I mean, prophetically, we see, you know, in in Ezekiel chapter thirty six and thirty seven, a miracle of the, rebirth of the nation of Israel in one day. How could you not be rejoicing? I mean, without Israel in the land, then where are we in the prophetic time clock? You know? And if we are at the end of the age, you know, we should be those that support. But in Zechariah 12, we're told prophetically that all nations are gonna turn their back upon Israel, including America One day. But it doesn't mean it doesn't break our heart. It doesn't mean that we as the church are are going to succumb to a two state solution and give in politically to the the idiocy of the diplomacy that people are trying to push down the the necks of Israel. And so we're not gonna comp compromise. We're not gonna give into any of that, and we're gonna continue to, take the word of God as it comes. And, you know, Paul dealt with Israel in regard to the gospel in Romans nine, ten, and 11. Israel, we've been grafted in. You know, we this this church age, this church period, the gospel goes out to the Jew first and then to the Gentiles. So there's there's so much we could say about the the level of deception that's taking place. We know that in the tribulation period in second Thessalonians two, because the people in the tribulation period reject the truth, God is gonna give them over to a strong delusion that they would believe the lie. What is the lie? The lie back in Genesis chapter three that you can be as gods. People are gonna actually believe that they can be as gods. So the Apostle Paul is dealing with the church of Corinth, which he spent eighteen months pastoring, planting and all. And, he's hearing reports of all sorts of different kinds of problems. One of the problems of which is the false prophets that are there are undermining him as an apostle. And they're presenting a different Jesus. They're presenting a different, gospel with a different spirit. Their influence is not of the Holy Spirit. Jesus warned that there was a time where the religious leaders and people would persecute you and kill you and, incarcerate you and all, and they would do it in the name of the Lord thinking they do God's service. You think of the apostle Paul, Saul of Tarsus, that which he did as a religious zealot, he did it by what spirit? It wasn't the Holy Spirit directing him. It wasn't the Holy Spirit guiding him to go incarcerate Christians and kill Christians and all. That wasn't the Holy Spirit, and yet he's all pious and self righteous as a Pharisee thinking he he's doing God's service. It wasn't the Holy Spirit leading, guiding Caiaphas and Annas and the Sanhedrin to go and crucify Jesus, was it? Well, on one hand, maybe yes. Because Jesus told them, this is your hour, the hour of darkness. Judas, that which you do, do quickly. So no man takes my life from me, but I willingly lay it down. But they, in their mind, thought they were doing God's service, when in actuality, as Jesus said to Pilate, you don't have any real power. No man, you know, can take my life from me. And, he came to bear witness of the truth. And Pilate, what is truth? You know? And, truth is incarnate. Truth standing right in front of you, Pilate. So it it as as they point out in the book of Acts in chapter four, you know, the predeterminate council and foreknowledge of God, all this happened. But the people that are doing it think that they're doing God's service. And they're and it's not the Holy Spirit that they're serving, it's the devil they're serving. And so Jesus said in Matthew seven fifteen, beware of false prophets. False prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly, they are ravening wolves. I think one of the greatest sources of false prophets today is on YouTube. The YouTube prophets, the Instagram prophets, the Facebook prophets, all the people in social media that think they know the truth. And they got a little bit of knowledge as my pastor, one of my teachers, David Hawking, said, gentlemen, a little knowledge is a dangerous thing. And, you know, nowadays, these guys don't even need to study truth. All they need to do is ask AI. Hey, AI. Pastor Rick's saying this. I would like to refute that notion of a millennium. I would like to refute the notion of, you know, the gospel or prophecy, you know, all that. And ai will come back with a nice little paragraph for you to cut and paste and post. You don't even have to think anymore. You can go to false prophets all over YouTube and and take their, you know, their crazy energy, their whole whatever, allegorizing things, and and you could you can cut and paste and bring that as an argument and appear to be a person that's really studious and learned and the whole thing. And, for you and I as Christians, all we need to do is pray, hear the Holy Spirit. Pretty soon, we're turning the bible. We're turning it back and forth. We're moving on through. And we're rebutting the lies that people try to post as truth. You ever do that? You ever get in an intellectual biblical argument? Are you have you ever gone to the place of earnestly contending for the faith to fight the good fight? Or do are we just passive? We just let it all, let it go, let it go. That's unloving. You're too critical. Don't call them out on that. Well, what's it mean to be a watchman in Ezekiel three or Ezekiel 33? If we don't warn people of sin or where that sin is leading toward, aren't we then responsible for their sin in Ezekiel three and thirty three? So God's called us to be watchmen, to watch and to warn the sinner. Once we warn the sinner, as the apostle Paul did in Acts chapter 20, he said he was innocent of the blood of all the sufficient people. Why? Because for the space of three years, he ceased not night and day with tears to warn them. Warning them, letting them know the truth. He gave them the full counsel of God. He didn't give half truths. He gave them the full counsel of God so that they were aware and had an understanding of what to do if, say, the Judaizers come in. So the Judaizers roll in from Jerusalem, and they're going to impose upon the church of Corinth a different gospel. They're gonna impose upon them, yeah, believe in Jesus, but you need to keep the Mosaic law too. That's bringing a legalism into the church. Or the antinomian, no, no law bent, which would be, hey, easy peasy, you know, just do whatever's right in your own eyes. Nobody can judge you, you know. So this would be what we call liberalism, where there is no law, there is no guidance. And, Jesus said, if you love me, you know, keep keep my commandments. And so if I love Jesus, I'm not I'm not going according to the Mosaic law necessarily to the letter of the law which kills to try and gain my salvation. But I'm certainly applying thou shall not murder. Jesus said it's internal. If you're angry with your brother, you're already a murderer. So now I ask the Lord to give me the love for not only my brother, but for even my enemies. Help me to love. Because love's the fulfillment of the law. Without love, we're nothing. So we're able to navigate by the with the help of the holy spirit, not negating the word of god, but not approaching god based upon a legal nor a licentious, antianomian or against law, false doctrine approach. When we get to the book of Galatians, we're gonna see that Paul says, if somebody comes along with a different gospel, even if an angel comes with a different gospel, let them be anathema. Let them be a curse. So if you're a Joseph Smith follower and LDS or whatever and you buy into the angel Moroni appearing and giving some gold tablet somewhere or whatever, you should you should say anathema. God God forbid that a person would, bring forth a different gospel. And, Paul gets real angry in the book of Galatians. When we get there, we'll we'll, dissect it and and dig in. In Mark thirteen twenty two, Jesus said, for false Christs and false prophets shall rise and shall show signs and wonders to to seduce, if it were if it were possible, even the elect. And so, we look at our young girls, our young boys, our young people who are naive, and we don't want anybody coming along a predator seducing them, bewitching them, moving them in a direction that, and and here's another thing. Again, you gotta I'm pretty naive about a lot of this stuff. But, there are people who are pursuing your wives, your husbands, your children online. They are predators. And they will get them into a chat room, a game room, giving a phone to your young children where people have access to them is insanity. It's absolute insanity. Some of them have been corresponding with a person they think is, you know, beautiful looking guy or whatever. And it turns out to be an old creeper, a predator, a pedophile. And two years later, two years of grooming, two years of breaking them down, two years of promising them stuff, Then they meet at a park and you don't see your kids anymore. Or your kids wind up being seduced and molested and and ruined. So this this seduction is very powerful with the advent of the internet. And, you need to be very, very aware of the different ways that the enemy disguises himself and seeks to seduce you and your loved ones from a place of truth, from a place of safety, from a place of being close to Jesus. Now the spirit speaks expressly in first Timothy four one, that in the latter times are we living in the latter times? So we know the timing of this. Some shall depart from the faith. That means apostasy. So some that profess to be Christians today are going to depart from the faith. They're gonna fall away from the faith. And I know I know that Calvinists are gonna say, well, if they're saved, then they can't lose their salvation. Can they depart from the faith? Can they exercise their free will to depart from the faith? Now I hope and pray that they're given over to Satan for the destruction of the body, that they're saved. I'm hoping and praying they're saved. They're just backsliding a bit. I don't know how much. They shall depart from the faith. Now notice giving heed. Don't give heed. Take heed that no man deceive you, Jesus said in Matthew 24 verse four. Take heed. He's warning you. So they're giving heed. So they're listening. So I had a woman, you know, contact me if she's here. Praise the Lord. But she contacted me on Messenger the other day and she had all these different things that somebody was telling her from from YouTube. And all I did, one simple thing, is I wrote back one thing, Psalm one. Wow. She went back and she went with the Amplified Bible and she read Psalm one, then she wrote me a big paragraph of what the Amplified and all that says in Psalm one. So at the beginning of Psalm one, blessed, oh, how happy is the man that listens not to the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful. So are you listening to them? You're being seduced. But you can be blessed in that. But his delight is in the law of the Lord. And as long as he meditate day and night. Put the electronics down. Get the word of God out. Meditate upon the word of God. And you shall be like a tree that's planted along the river. Its leaf shall not wither or bring forth its fruit in the season. And whatsoever you doeth shall prosper. But the ungodly are not so, but are like the chaff which the wind drives away. So you wanna be fruitful? You wanna be stable? The roots of your life go down deep so that when the storms come against your life, you don't rely upon one of those 10 things in your life. You don't rely upon those counselors you've been seeing for twenty some years as a Christian. Because at crunch time, it's not gonna get you through. You need to rely upon Jesus. You're being fed a false gospel, psychobabble, psychology, existential humanism. In a time of prosperity when there's no problems, you can get away with it. But in a time of crisis, only one gonna get you through it is Jesus and his word by the power of his holy spirit. Because many of these so called Christian counselors who mean well, they're basically there because you're a dog chasing your tail. You just won't move on. You keep going back and back and back and back to your victimization. And the focus is upon you. Get your eyes off yourself. Get your eyes on Jesus and grow in the grace and knowledge of him. Train your mind. Take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ. If you don't, you're gonna crash and burn. You're gonna go through a horrible, horrible breakdown if you haven't already. If you think your marijuana is gonna prop you up, your drugs are gonna prop you up, your alcohol is gonna prop you up, but by the way, I'm a born again Christian too. In a time of crisis, you're gonna crash. You've got to go all in with Jesus to get through the times that are ahead. All in. Not halfway. They're gonna seduce you. As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he. They're gonna use lies to seduce you and to pull you away from Jesus. What if they can pull you away from Jesus just 510%. And another grew another 10%. How far away are you from Jesus? How much of Jesus are you relying upon? How much of his word are you relying upon? How many other things have you factored in and mixed in? It's idolatry. You don't mix the idolatry. You come out from among them, be separate, saith the lord. Touch not the unclean thing and I'll receive you. What does light have in common with darkness? Stay with the light. Stay with God's word. Don't use the rudimentary, entry level truths of psychology when you have the giver of truth, the giver of life that's willing to communicate his love toward you and his truth in who we are. To beguile, to seduce, to deceive. So how are Christians seduced by false prophets? Number one, misinformation, lies. Verse three, but I fear lest by any means as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtlety, so your mind should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. So Paul's wanting to communicate to the church of Corinth. They don't have the whole New Testament yet. This letter he's sending is gonna become part of the New Testament for you and I to enjoy. But they have the Mosaic Law. They have the Pentateuch. They have the book of Genesis. And they're able to look back. He's referring to the book of Genesis for an example of the tactic of the wicked one, how he seduces people. And we're reminded of Genesis chapter three, when the serpent beguiled Adam and Eve. So he beguiled Eve through his subtleties, so your mind should be corrupted from the simplicity that's in Christ. That word begau means to seduce, to deceive. And so the devil continues to use his old tricks. Jesus said in John eight that he's a liar. And that the Pharisees' father was the devil, that he was a liar and a murderer from the beginning. And, lie, deception is the devil's greatest weapon, I believe. Deception, to deceive people. And with the information highway that we have, as I said with AI, with all of it, it's you need to be a student of God's word. You need to be a man or woman of God's word. You need to be immersed in God's word. The psalmist in Psalm 19 said, thy word have I hidden my heart that I might not sin against thee. You gotta train your children up. You gotta get the word of God into them. The propaganda, the misinformation, the deception, to seduce and corrupt people's minds is over the top today. The false prophets, the false Christs, the false religious leaders all use deception. They use lies to deceive people. In Genesis three, you could turn there if you want. Verse one, now the serpent, now he's described here, Lucifer the devil, as a snake, as a serpent. I hate serpents. Some of you love serpents. You put them around your neck and all that. Man, I hate snakes. I love the state of Washington because I only see those, you know, those non poisonous ones, the black ones running around. But, god, can you imagine going to Africa or India or Australia and they've got every kind of bug and poisonous snake everywhere, you know? No way. So now the serpent was more subtle than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said unto the woman, so when I ask you when we get in the millennium, will we be able to talk to the animals? Did Adam and Eve were they able to talk to the animals in the Garden Of Eden? Talking to this serpent. Wouldn't you love to talk to your dog and have him talk back like Balaam's donkey? You know? A horse is a horse. Yeah. Don't go there. Don't go there. Don't go there. I'll start singing it. Don't do that. You guys get me off track. I tell you. Alright. So the serpent, he's more subtle than any of the beasts of the fields where the Lord God had made. And he said unto the woman, yea, has God said? So you have to understand that this is so important for us. The devil will always attack God's word. Always, always, always. In the schools, it's God's word they don't like. When we had our daycare shut down, a lawyer came to me later and told me, you know why you're really shut down? I said, why? Because you had the kids in the Abeka curriculum And they weren't going to fund a daycare that you were educating the children in God's word. Wasn't gonna happen. They told you twice to put the kids in the head start reading program, which means they would never learn to read. And our kids were two grades ahead of the public school kids when they were put in the public school. Not only that, but their parents, many of whom were unbelievers, signed the parent handbook that agreed that we would use the Abeka curriculum, which would teach about Noah's Ark and things like that. Biblical stories. They wanted their kids to be immersed in the basics of the bible. But what was a threat to this big state run whatever was the word of God. The devil doesn't want the word of God into these kids. The very first textbook of the public schools was commissioned by our government. It's the bible. The Bible. A whole different era, a whole different point in time. And, God, wouldn't it be great if we got the Bible back in school and I guess Texas putting the 10 Commandments up and and and all that. And so you teach the basics. You teach right and wrong. And so you he says, yeah. Has God said and and here's another point. The devil knows the bible better than you. He knows the bible better than us. And and when Jesus is tempted in Matthew four and Jesus starts quoting the scripture, Satan says, if, challenging Jesus, if you're the son of God after forty days of not eating, he appeals to the desire, the hunger impulse of Jesus being the God man, fully God and fully man. In John four, he was weary. Jesus knew what it was to be tempted in all points like we and yet without sin. Jesus knew what it was to be physiologically weary, physiologically thirsty. He knew what it was to be hungry. That ghrelin hormone raging saying, I need some food. And the devil knows the physiology of human beings and says, if you are the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread. And Jesus said, it is written, man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God. And then what'd Satan do next? Well, he took Jesus up on a high pinnacle and said, you know, if you're the son of God, cast yourself off of here. As it says in Psalm 91, he'll give his so Satan's quoting Psalm 91. He'll give his angels charge over you, lest you dash your foot against a stone. But he doesn't quote it properly. He twists it a bit to make it sound like, hey, this is okay. And Jesus said, thou shall not put the lord thy god to the test. So Jesus is reaching into Deuteronomy and Leviticus to counteract the lies of the wicked one. And then the third one, he takes him up onto a mountain. He shows them all the kingdoms of the world. And he says, if you bow down and worship me, me, the little g god of this world, the prince, the power, the air, I'll give you all these kingdoms. He's saying to Jesus, here's a shortcut. No suffering. You don't need to go by way of the cross. If you wanna be a king, I can make you a king as long as you worship me as god. Is Satan tempting you in a similar way? You looking for shortcuts? Or are you taking your cross up daily and following Jesus? He's a master at twisting, making it sound good. And Jesus said, thou shall worship the Lord thy God and him only shalt thou serve. And he said, be gone, Satan. There's a lesson there for us. As the devil's deceiving Eve, has God said, he's challenging the word of God. And she does she know the word of God very well? Watch what she does. She paraphrases and she adds a little phrase there. And I'm I'm kinda wondering, probably her husband added this phrase. It's kinda like my mom saying, Rick, the iron's hot. Don't go over there. Don't even touch it. What did I do? I went over there and touched it, burned my hand. I had to find out. You see a sign on someone's grass, don't walk on the grass, I gotta go walk on the grass. Yea, has God said, ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? And the woman said unto the serpent, we may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden, but of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God has said, ye shall not eat of it. And then here's her paraphrase. Neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die. So I could see Adam saying, honey, not only are we not to eat it, we're not even to touch it, thinking if I can keep her away from even touching it, then she's not gonna be close enough to eat it. Didn't work. And the serpent said unto the woman, ye shall not surely die undermining the word of God. You don't need to pray for Israel. You don't need to believe that Israel is gonna enter into the millennium and David as prince and Jesus as king of kings and lord of lords and rule from Zion. You can divide the land up. God's done with Israel. Saint Augustine, Martin Luther, and others saying God has replaced Israel with the church. If you're a student of the word, you should go to the word and see that's not true. God can use or excuse me, the devil can use uninformed Christian leaders who may have one truth, justification by grace through faith alone, Martin Luther, but miserably fail with eschatology and God's and Martin Luther wrote a commentary on Romans. How did he get around Romans nine, ten and eleven? I'll never know. How do they do that? How does some of the preachers of our day get around first Corinthians chapter twelve, thirteen and fourteen and become cessationists when they're such good students, such good expositors, such good bible teachers. But they're cessationists, meaning they don't think the gifts are operational today. How do you do that, John? How do you do that? You're so brilliant in so many ways. Why why such a blindness? Where does it say that in the bible? Where does it ever say the gifts have ceased? Prove it to me. And yet, what I tell people is, well, if you're gonna listen to this guy, no, there's two areas here you need to be careful of. One is a hyper calvinism and two, a cessationist. But other than that, we line up real well. A lot to learn from them. But sometimes, we have prejudices. And the serpent said unto the woman, ye shall not surely die, for God does know the day the eat thereof. Then your eyes shall be opened and ye shall be as gods. Little g gods. There's the lie perpetuated in the tribulation period in second Thessalonians chapter two. When they reject the truth, they start to believe Elon Musk and and Noah Yuval Harari and these elites who are using the technology to try and merge human beings to a a hope of eternal life. And who knows what sorceries are also mixed in with the demonic realm and AI and all the different ways they try to seduce and convince people that they'll never die. They're given over to a strong delusion. And so for God does know the day they eat thereof, their eyes shall be opened and you shall be as gods knowing good and evil. And when the woman saw that the tree was, notice, good for food, the lust of the eye, and that was pleasant to the eyes. The lust of the flesh, lust of the eye, And the tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof and did eat and gave unto her husband with her, and he did eat. Now we're told later by Paul that Adam was not deceived. Eve was deceived. Eve was beguiled. Adam transgressed. Adam chose Eve over God. He said, you know, this woman's so beautiful. I'm so tired of these animals. It's not good for men to be alone. I'd rather be with Eve than walk in the cool of the garden with God. Even your spouse can become an idol. When Kathy and I were broken up and trying to figure it out, one of the things the lord did with me is he established himself in my heart and life as my first love. I tried to get Kathy back, couldn't get her back. So I surrendered her, gave her up, kept praying for her salvation, but I gave up on the idea that we'd ever get back together. And then once I dug in and see, because we can use Jesus. We can go to church and use Jesus to get what we want. We can rub Jesus as a genie to get my Kathy back. And he said, I don't want to be second to Cathy. I want you to love me supremely. I want to be your first love. Once I'm your first love and once you're a spiritual leader in the home, you're gonna be able to love Cathy the way I want her to be loved. And Adam, he didn't have the Lord as his first love at this point. He loved Eve and so he transgressed. He stepped over the line. And he did eat. The seductive appeal was to the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eye, and the pride of life. The seduction continues today in America, in the world today with increasing delusional ideas that people are spreading. The central aspects of the church today, touchy, feely, not spiritual, not truth. In Hosea chapter four, hear the word of the Lord, ye children of Israel, for the Lord has a controversy with the inhabitants of land because there is no truth, nor mercy, nor knowledge of God in the land. He says in Hosea four six, this is one of my dad's favorite verses. My people are destroyed for a lack of knowledge. Because thou has rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shall not be no priest to me. Seeing thou has forgotten the law of thy god, I will also forget your children. And there shall be like the people, like the priests. We get religious leaders. We get politicians that mirror who we are. And I will punish them for their ways and reward them for their doings, for they shall eat and not have enough. They shall commit whoredom and shall not increase, because they have left off to take heed to the lord. Whoredom and wine and new wine. Take away the heart. God wants your heart. You've been dummied down. You've been seduced. In Revelation nine, it's gonna get even worse. It's sorcery, the pharmakeia. In Revelation eighteen twenty three, it's the sorcery that gathers, that that that, deceives the nations and gathers the nations to go to war against God, to stop Jesus from returning and taking back his planet that he created, that he redeemed. The audacity, the insanity of human beings seduced by demonic spirits, thinking that their technology and their wisdom is able to overthrow God. And how does Jesus react to this? He comes with the clouds and every eye see him. And we're told in second Thessalonians two that he destroys the world's champion, the antichrist. Destroys him with the brightness of his coming and the sword of his mouth at Bozrah, at Petra, during Armageddon. It's insanity, these people. For if he comes and preaches another Jesus, it's the Greek word allos, another of a of the same kind. So there's more than one. There's more than one Jesus, another of the same kind. So they're they're hypocrites. They're actors. They're acting like they're spiritual gurus, whom we have not preached. So we've preached to you Jesus. In Matthew, chapter 16 verse 13, Jesus asked the question, who do men say that I am? What's the general consensus of Jesus today? What would Joe Rogan say? I hear he's going to church. Joe Rogan is the present day Oprah. Maybe Jerry Springer, whoever. I hope Joe Rogan gets saved. He's going to church on a regular basis. Hope and pray for that guy. I like that guy. I mean, I don't approve of everything, but I like him. I never liked Oprah. I wanted her to ride away in her broom, you know, just get out. So deceptive. So Russell Brand or any of the guys coming on YouTube, everybody's getting saved now. Mel Gibson, Catholic, Jim Caviezel. I mean, how many of them are putting ashes on their forehead and everybody's got this spiritual testimony now of their belief in Jesus? All these different religious system merging together. Protestants becoming Catholics. Many protestants pastors now teaching evolution again. It's getting so incredibly convoluted and sketchy and you got to think that the devil's stirring things up to divide people. Who are these people in Seattle? Have any of you vetted these Christians in Seattle going against Antifa? Do any of you know who they are? Are we creating a civil war? Are they paid on the right by George Soros just as George Soros funds Antifa? How do we know? Any of you know them? Are they a part of local churches? Or they brought in, bussed in, and they gain what they want on the stage of the world on television and all. And and, the mayor demanding the mayor step down, that sort of thing. What kind of gasoline is poured onto something that to divide the country and begin to cause a civil war between Christians and Muslims in in Texas. Are we that stupid? We're gonna fall for it? We're gonna take the bait? Certainly, we wanna stand for righteousness. Certainly, we wanna stand against laws that allow the the schools to take our children and do medical procedures and things without the parental knowledge. Certainly, we stand against that and should. And we applaud those courageous enough to do that. But we don't wanna succumb to hatred and be divided. It should be all parents from all religions standing up for those kids. So who do men say that I am, the son of man am? Who do they say? What's what does the media say? Who is Jesus? Well some say you're John the Baptist. You remind us of John the Baptist. Repent for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. Foxes have holes, birds there have nests but the son of man has nowhere to lay his head. You're like John the Baptist. He slept out in the he camped like you camp a lot. You're out there under the stars. You're bold. You're in the face of the religious leaders. You remind us of John the Baptist who lost his head because he stood up to Herod. Some say you're Jeremiah. What was Jeremiah like? Forty years of preaching, maybe one convert? The weeping prophet. Jesus wept. Jesus wept over the city of Jerusalem. Jesus wept at the tomb of Lazarus. Jesus must have done a whole lot of weeping intercessory prayer on behalf of people who are walking in darkness and it broke his heart. You remind us of Jeremiah. You remind us of that prophet. Some say you're that prophet. The one that Moses spoke of. The one to come. So there's a general consensus. The general consensus of your Jesus doesn't save you. You need to know him. So Jesus brings it personal. Who do you say that I am? And each and every person needs to answer this personally. Because if you believed in a different Jesus, if you believe Jesus was just a good guy, that Jesus was equivalent to Buddha Muhammad Confucius, you are mistaken. You are still in your sins. You don't believe in the Jesus of the bible, almighty God, the son of God, the son of man, fully God, fully man, the babe of Bethlehem, King of kings and lord of lords. And every knee is gonna bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is lord one day. You're believing in a inferior Jesus. Just a just a religious guy, a good guy, one of many. And Peter says, thou art the Christ. The Greek form of the Hebrew Messiah. You're the Messiah. The son of the living God. And Jesus said, blessed art thou Simon Barjona, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you. This wasn't your natural faculties, your natural human reasoning that brought this to your understanding. This is the work of the Holy Spirit. And I say unto thee that thou art Peter, little stone. And upon this massive rock, Petra, I'm gonna build my church and the gates of hell will not prevail against it. Who do men say that I am? Who does Oprah say Jesus is? Who does Joe Rogan say Jesus is? Or if you receive another spirit, which you have not received, and this is a Greek word, heteros, another of a different kind. Not the work of the Holy Spirit that's gonna lead and guide you into all truth. According to John fifteen twenty six, the spirit of truth which proceeds from the Father, he shall testify of me. No, you've you've been led by a false spirit that's led you astray to believe in a different Jesus, a different kind. In John fourteen six, Jesus makes it real clear, I am the way, I am the truth, I am the life. No man comes to the father but by me. So as C. S. Lewis would argue, he's either Lord, he's a liar, he's a lunatic. He's either who he claimed to be, Lord of lords, and you believe, or he's a liar. One of the greatest deceivers of all of all of history, deceiving you into believing in him. If he was in his right mind claiming that I'm the bread of life, don't those guys wind up as lunatics? If he says, I'm the door. I'm the good shepherd. I'm the resurrection and the life. He that believes in me, though we are dead yet shall he live. And whosoever lives and believes in me shall never die. Doesn't a guy like that either he proves it? Destroy this temple in three days and I'll raise it up. Or he's carted off by the guys with the white coats. Right? He's a lunatic. He's a Lord, he's a liar, or he's a lunatic. But if he can back it up, then he's Lord. If he can come out of that tomb and be raised from the dead and be seen for forty days by over 500 different people and then ascend to the right hand of his father, and we have the more sure word of prophecy connecting the dots that he's who he claimed to be because the volume of the book is written of him. You think you have eternal life? Search the scriptures for in them, they are they which testify of me. The entire bible from Genesis to Revelation speaks of Jesus. That's your gospel. The good news of Jesus Christ. It's not just John three sixteen. The entire bible, the entire truth, I am the way, the truth and the life. No man comes to the father but by me. We would call that the exclusivity of Jesus Christ. And that'll get you in trouble. Because the world today wants a one world religion and it wants to bring the Mohammedans, with the Jews, with the Christians all together, the house of Abraham, that we all worship the same god as George h w Bush tried to say. Well, people like that. All roads lead to god. You got yours. I got mine. But when a guy stands up there and says, I'm the only way. Only through me. I am the way. I am the truth. I am the life. No man comes to the father but by me. That makes it pretty clear. And then he backed it up by being crucified, buried, raised from the dead, and ascended to the right hand of his father. In John first John four one, John says, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits. You gotta try the spirits today. And the way that you try them is the same way Jesus did in Matthew four when the devil was tempted him. Use the word of God. Use the sword of the spirit, which is the word of God, to combat the lies of the wicked one. And watch how quickly people get angry at you because you're inflexible. You won't you won't give. You won't compromise. You won't agree. It's interesting to me that if you're a policeman and you pull somebody over to give them a ticket, because they're going a hundred miles an hour, they got four tickets and they're gonna get their license revoked because they've gone so many. I know of a guy. And he pulls you over and you say, why are you so critical? Haven't you heard of judge not lest ye be judged? And then you follow it up with, why don't you just love? You Christians, you don't need to evaluate truth and error, right and wrong, aberrant behavior. That's a Debbie Downer, man. That's critical. Haven't you heard of judge not, lest she be judged? You just need to love. Why don't you love? Well, let me test your love. Let me put a drug addict in your home and you love on them with no rules. How long are you gonna last? All the circumventing and lying that they do. How long are you gonna make it? They're manipulators. They need structure. It's so illogical, the stuff that we have to deal with today. Obama takes and says, you guys got it wrong. I say it's same sex marriage. And he lights up the White House with rainbow lights everywhere. And then he has the audacity with Rob Bell to say, love wins. That's love? Acceptance of homosexuality, lesbian, LBGTQ, that's love. We're gonna redefine in the church what love is. Oprah said that if you do it right, the pedophilia, if you do it right with children, it's good for them. What is she saying? It's an act of love? So we have a different Jesus. We have another spirit. We have another gospel. Another gospel which you have not accepted, you might well bear with them. And so you don't bear with them. You you have to be intolerant of this evil. You cannot go along to get along. You have to test. You have to earnestly contend for the faith. You have to expose the truth. One of our favorite verses today is Ephesians five verse 11. Have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them. And once you expose them, oh man, do people get angry. Because you're drawing a line in the sand. And you're saying on this side is God and on that side are the pretenders. Oh, they don't like that. All roads are supposed to lead there. So another gospel, heteros, another of a different kind, which he have not accepted, he shall bear with him. So don't bear with him. Don't bear that. Be intolerant of that. And so the gospel starts with the deity of Christ. He's God. And if you need help, you go to John one. You write this down. If you need to prove the deity of Christ, here are some places that you can prove the deity. What do we mean by deity? That Jesus is God. If he's not God, then we're still in our sins because he's the God man. He's the last Adam. He lived a perfect life. He fulfilled the law. All 613 precepts from the womb to the tomb, baby. 1,000 batting average. He never struck out. I posted yesterday on Facebook of my little guy, Isaiah, striking out. And it occurred to me that if you hit three out of 10, you're batting 300 and you're a star in the major leagues. But you're still going to hell. Because to get to heaven, you need to bat a thousand your whole life. And that's what Jesus did. And it's his righteousness. It's his stats that get you into heaven when you believe and trust in him. God doesn't grade on the curve. So we need to know that Jesus is God. So John one is your first place. You write this in the leaf of your bible because you need to know the gospel. You don't want to be preaching a different Jesus. So in the beginning was the word, the word was with God, the word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him and without him was not anything made that was made. And the word verse 14, and the word became flesh and dwelt among us. And we beheld his beauty as the only begotten of the father full of grace and truth. That's the deity of Christ. What did we learn there? He's God. He's the creator, and he's our redeemer. All things were made by him, and without him was not anything made that was made. And you know what else? He made Lucifer. He made the devil. The devil is not the opposite of God. The devil is a fallen angel. One angel grabs hold of him, Michael, and incarcerates him, chains him. In Romans or excuse me, Revelation 20, For a thousand years, he's put into the abyss. He's Lucifer, son of the morning. In Isaiah 14, in Ezekiel 28, we get a picture of him before he fell. He was an exalted cherub angel, a worship leader before the throne of God, until iniquity was found in him. And we're told in Revelation chapter 12 that one third of the stars, one third of the angels fell with Lucifer. He was so convincing. In his five I will statements in Isaiah 14, he wanted to be his God. And he was boasting and prideful and saying he was gonna be his God. He wasn't content with being an exalted cherub angel. And Jesus being God decided to come back to be incarnated, not as an angel. So another place you go is in Hebrews one. I'm skipping a little bit. But Hebrews one. So he's made a little lower than the angels. He took on the form of a man. So Hebrews one is another place that proves the deity of Christ. Revelation chapter one is another place that proves the deity of Christ. And the fourth place is Colossians one. All of them the first chapters of these books. So by way of review, John one, Colossians one, Hebrews one, Revelation one. You are now equipped to prove the deity of Christ and you're gonna be hated by the devil. It's so simple. It's just so simple. Not even AI can trip you up. You have the word of God. The next is the virgin birth. He's born of a virgin. Isaiah seven fourteen. Isaiah nine verse six. Unto us a child is born. Unto us a son is given. And the government shall be upon his shoulder. Hey, that's speaking of the millennium, A literal millennium. Imagine that. Jesus is gonna rule and reign for a thousand years. The government's gonna be upon his shoulder. And his name shall be called wonderful counselor, the mighty God, the everlasting father, the prince of peace. And of his peace and of his government, there shall be no end. That's our Jesus. That's your hope. And the virgin shall conceive and bring forth a son. And we're gonna call his name, Isaiah seven fourteen, Emmanuel. What's Emmanuel mean? God with us. It's Christmas every day. The other day they were talking online about how it's coming up. There's a day where, you know, one man esteems one day above another, another man every day alike. And they came up with this little thing there saying, hey, pretty soon is the official donut day at at Sly's Bakery. And I'm like, dude, every day is a day for Sly's Bakery, man. I'm not gonna just worship Jesus once a week. I'm gonna worship Jesus every day, man. Sorry for equating the donut man, but there you go. And then the resurrection. You produce a dead body. You destroy Christianity. Your Jesus raised himself from the dead. He's the only one that could challenge his enemies and say, a wicked and adulterous generation seeks after a sign. And the only sign that you're gonna be given is a sign of the prophet Jonah authenticating what Kathy's teaching in the Sunday school, that of Jonah. Now a little heads up, we're gonna be in the book of Daniel in the weeks ahead, and we're gonna teach in chapter three with Veggie Tales, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego with Jesus there in the fiery furnace. What a truth. What a truth. I'm so excited. I love Veggie Tales. So that of the resurrection. Now now this is your gospel. This is your Jesus. This is the Holy Spirit. And the second coming, why the ignorance of people negating prophecy, one third of the bible, saying, we don't want to hear about prophecy. It's doom and gloom. Throw it out. Just preach the gospel. You keep ignorantly hearing this. We're gonna dissect one third of the bible and say that's not the gospel. It isn't good news that Jesus is coming back. That's what gospel means, good news. So so he he came. He was crucified, buried, raised himself from the dead, ascended to the right hand of the father, and you don't need to be concerned about his second coming, nor the rapture, nor the seven year tribulation period, nor the millennium. Just the gospel, that sounds like a false gospel. Because now what you're doing is you're saying, we're looking for the golden age. We're just preaching the gospel because by preaching the gospel, we're gonna usher in the kingdom ourselves. And everyone's gonna get rich. Everyone's gonna have the gold, the crypto, the whole thing. Right? We're gonna make it right. Sounds like somebody's been deceived. How could the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and savior not be good news? Don't dissect these truths. As I said, from Genesis to Revelation is the gospel. It all speaks of Jesus. It's good news. Sometimes you have to let people know the bad news first so that they'll appreciate the good news. But don't dummy down and say that John three sixteen is the gospel and just bring John three sixteen to people in nursery school. Build them up, strengthen them. Preach the gospel. Preach the exciting aspects. I mean, the church of Thessalonica was only three weeks old when Paul addressed them eschatologically. When he's teaching them of the rapture of the church and and the tribulation period, the antichrist. Three weeks in the Lord. Don't dummy yourself down and say, oh, that's just too complicated, the book of Revelation. I my pastor's never taught it. We can't go through it. It's too complicated. Well, if it's complicated and he goes through it, all he'll do is allegorize it. He'll interpret it how he wants and make himself a big star because he came up with stuff that nobody else ever came up with. Because he thinks he thinks he thinks. But if he takes the bible literally and he teaches it literally, then the people come to an understanding that the book of Revelation is one of the greatest books in the bible. It's the apocalypse. It's the revealing of Jesus Christ. You get to know Jesus. How could you not? But just do the gospel. The inspiration and errancy of the bible, different spirit. They'll say, oh, the bible's full of errors. Show me one. Show me one of the original documents. It's not the word of man. It's the word of God. If it's only the word of man, if it's not the word of God, we ought to pack it in. We ought to let AI teach us. We ought to all have the AI bible, or the woman's bible, the fisherman's bible, the hunter's bible. There's a bible for every kind of person there is. How about just the bible? Study the bible. For I suppose, verse five, I was not a wit. I like that, a wit. What's a wit? A little bit? For I suppose I was not a wit behind the very chiefest apostles. Who's he speaking of? Those in Jerusalem with James added to it, the leaders, the movers, and the shakers. Paul says, my sufficiency is in Christ, but I'm not lower than these guys. These fossil prophets are trying to undermine me in the minds of the Corinthian believers, whom got saved under my watch for eighteen months. They're undermining me saying my appearance, my outward appearance, my speech is contemptible. And I'm not flashy enough. He says, though I be rude in speech, not flashy, not eloquent enough, yet not in knowledge. There's content. There's a whole lot of content, what I'm teaching. Very, very deep truths. I've got the milk and I've got the meat. If you're a babe, I gotta give you the milk. If you're carnal, I gotta give you the milk. But it's high time to grow up, church. Hebrews five and six, it's time to grow up. It's time to chew on some meat. Time to learn our bibles. But we have been thoroughly made manifest among you in all things. Eighteen months of grinding it out, of grounding you in the faith. And remember this too. What is the great commission? The great commission is not go and make converts. You can't make a convert. One man sows another waters, God brings the increase. The great commission is go and make disciples of the converts. So you preach and you teach. You don't cut off the teaching and say, Just preach the gospel. You preach the gospel to the unbeliever. The gospel, as I said, the good news is every sermon has the gospel in it. Every sermon has the good news of Jesus in it. Whether it's eschatology, whether it's in the Garden of Eden. Genesis three fifteen, after Adam and Eve sinned, God prophesied for them. There's the gospel in Genesis three fifteen. That the seed, the virgin born Son of God, the seed of the woman, Jesus, that one day his heel would be bruised, the serpent, yeah, would would bring him to the place where he'd be crucified. His heels can be bruised. But he would raise himself from the dead and crush the serpent's head. That's the gospel. Colossians tells us that he spoiled all principalities and powers. He triumphed over them. They thought they were gonna win. Just as they think in their insanity, they're gonna win at Armageddon and stop him from returning. These people are nut jobs. We gave you milk and meat of God's word in simple and an understandable style. How are Christians seduced by false prophets? Number one, misinformation. Secondly, manipulation. These guys are manipulators. Have I committed an offense? Verse seven, and abasing myself that ye might be exalted because I have preached to you the gospel of God freely? What? You don't respect me because I didn't charge you? Why is it these false prophets, these false churches that don't do anything except entertain, have million dollar contracts? And people that teach the word of God can barely get by. Amazing how much money is given to the false prophets. Their jets aren't big enough. They got a bigger jet because I'm pastor Dollar, you know. They don't teach the word of God. They teach a false gospel with a false spirit. It's a pleasure mania, health, wealth, and prosperity gospel. They're gold diggers. And if they can seduce you and get you to follow that, then they're exposing your heart. That's what you want to. Because you're looking for teachers having itching ears that are gonna tell you what you want to hear. And you don't wanna hear of the life of the spirit and death to self and taking your cross up daily and following Jesus. You wanna hear that it's all about you and that you're a champion. And you go to Champion Center and you're gonna get a bigger boat, a bigger car, and a bigger house this year. Bigger, bigger, bigger. He says verse 20, for or excuse me. For you suffer if a man bring you into bondage, if a man devour you, if a man take of you, if a man exalt himself, if a man smite you on the face, so you gladly allow them to exploit you. They coddle you and they lie to you and they charge you for your sessions with their psychological counselors today. And one of the things I'm learning, and it's breaking my heart, really is breaking my heart. There there's many of you I don't know you. I don't know where you came from. I don't know your backgrounds. I don't know how long you walk with the Lord. I don't know nothing. I just know that many of you came in here during COVID. And your history, the churches you've been at, what you've endured, what you've gone through. I'm I'm appalled. It's breaking my heart to see the myriad of things that you propped yourself up with. Yeah. You got Jesus, but you got so many other things added to it that are really a distraction and keeping you from really getting to know him. Every time you fall down and you run to that counselor, you negate the help that God's ready to give you. He's there. He's ready. But you wanna dig out cisterns, broken cisterns that can hold no water. And it breaks my heart. It breaks my heart. The pastors didn't do their job. But we'll do the best we can to insult you enough that you humble yourself. That's what it's all about. It's not about you. You're gonna have to die. There's no shortcut. You're gonna have to die. You're gonna take all those memories of being a victim and you're gonna have to lay him at the cross. And if any man be in Christ, he's a new creation. The old things are passed away. All things are become new. His mercies are new every morning. You got a new beginning every day. Any of those hurts that are there, he's gonna use those hurts. He's gonna turn it around so that you can help the hurting. The consolation that you've received, the comfort that you received from the Holy Spirit as your counselor, you then are gonna be able to counsel others also. And you're not gonna get paid for it. Okay? God. I mean, I'm watching guys now calling themselves life coaches. They they don't even shave yet. What do you know about life? Just where do they get these ideas? I'd be so embarrassed. It'd be like me saying, you know what? I'm a financial advisor. Any of you need help with your finances, come see me. You know? They're doing that. They're doing that. These young guys are saying, you need help managing your money. Come see me. The guy has he run a business yet? Who is he, Obama? What what's he what's he thinking? What makes you an authority on anything except being a good liar? And I don't think this kid on there is a liar. I think he's just he's just has an inflated kind of a view. I mean, go join the military. Go through boot camp. Do something, you know. Start a business. He's It's probably worth millions of dollars and I'm gonna have to choke on my words, but you know, I don't I mean, it just doesn't make sense to me. You're not even married yet, but you're gonna write a book about marriage. You're gonna write a book about raising kids. You don't have any kids yet. You throw it all out the window when you finally are married and have kids and all that. All that you thought you knew, you don't know. Good. He says, I robbed that word rob means plunder. I robbed other churches taking wages, notice that of them, to do you service. So a lot of you folks say, hey, the pastor shouldn't be, paid. He's you know, Jesus said, the workman's worthy of his hire. Don't muzzle the ox while he's treading out the grain. And people love to use their unwillingness to contribute to worship and giving by saying, hey, Paul. You know, Paul went out and worked a job. Why don't you go down the shipyard and work a job all week and then come in and as a hobby, be the pastor on the weekend? Yeah. Show me that biblical model. Paul is working as a church planter for a period of time, but every single church plant has pastors who plant their feet there and stay there with the folks. And they receive sustenance by providing the spiritual food as the people provide the the material. And so Paul's saying right here, he says, I had to rob other churches. I not only worked for eighteen months there with Priscilla and Aquila, you know, as a tent maker, but I had to also get monies from the church of Philippi to try and underwrite, you know, the church there. And boy, Kathy and I had to do that for so many years. We were receiving monies from California, from friends and family, and leveraging and borrowing and doing everything we could to provide everything this church needs to be happy. And it all burnt to the ground. But it didn't burn to the ground because we're still here thirty years now. So I robbed other churches, taking wages of them to do you service. So you gotta see that free is never free. There's somebody paying the bills. You and I are blood bought, and we're bought with blood, sweat, and tears. Somebody and many of you, you're laboring. You're laboring the shipyard banger key port, and you support this church, and you support other works by giving financially, and these ministries are able to continue and to get the glorious gospel out, to train people up and disciple people. And there's gotta be some value in the spiritual aspect of it. If you're not blessed, as J. Vernon McGee said, if you're not blessed spiritually in the church you're attending, then find one where you are blessed and support that church. Support a place that's blessing you. And as we said, the false prophets, boy they sure get a whole lot of money. But for some reason people don't appreciate bible teaching today. And when I was present with you and wanted, I was chargeable to no man for that which was lacking to me the brethren which came from Macedonia supplied in all things I have kept myself from being burdensome unto you and so will I keep myself. So the people of Philip Philippi, the Macedonian churches supported the Apostle Paul, and he wasn't chargeable to the churches of Corinth in contrast to the money they're given to the false prophets. The false prophets are manipulating them. The false prophets are making merchandise of them. And they think it's great. As the truth of Christ is in me, no man shall stop me of this boasting in the regions of Ikea. So this is of Corinth. Corinth is in the region of Ikea, which is a Roman province. So the gospel's free. We do not market the gospel. We don't market the church. He says, verse 11, wherefore, because I love you not, God knows, so love's sacrificial. He's willing to lay his life down for him. Verse 12. But what I do, that I will do, that I may cut off occasion from them which desire occasion, that wherein they glory, they may be found even as we. And so he wants to expose the frauds. He wants to expose them as manipulators. Second Peter two one, Peter warns, but there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privately shall bring in damnable heresies heresies, even denying the lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. And many shall follow their pernicious ways by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of. And through what? Through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you, whose judgment now of a long time lingers not and their damnation slumbers not. It can't be any clearer what Paul and Peter are saying. False prophets, false Christs, it's a business to them. They're there to manipulate you. Huge red flags should come up if there's an inordinate amount of attention placed upon money. Of you always having to write a check, more checks, bigger checks for all the different grand schemes and ideas and things that that are going on. Now church that starts to explode in growth and needs building funds and all that, you know what? It is navigate that as you can. But, nobody God loves a cheerful giver. Don't ever be sucked in, seduced, manipulated in such a way. So how are Christians seduced by false prophets? Number one, misinformation. Secondly, manipulation. And thirdly, by manifestation. Verse 13. For such are false apostles. You're gonna see them manifested before you. You're gonna see it. God's gonna show you a wolf in sheep's clothing. Now as a pastor, I can spot typically, I can spot a wolf in sheep's clothing. But the tragedy is so many times, the sheep that you're that you're tending, they don't recognize a wolf. They don't see him. They think it's a sheep. And it's very very delicate the way you deal with the wolf in the beginning because, you know, you don't see them with their teeth upon your children's neck trying to seduce your child or whatever. You know? If that happens, your eyes are open. But they're so subtle. They're so tricky, the way they visit you and call you and and probe and size you up, you know. And what do they want? They want money. That's typically what they want. They want money. They want something from you. So be very very careful. The wolves in sheep's clothing. In Deuteronomy thirteen one, God gives a test. This is a pretty cool test. He says, if there arise among you a prophet or a dreamer of dreams. You ever seen a dreamer of dreams on YouTube? That everybody got do you got a dream? Anybody here got a dream? Anybody got a thus saith the Lord of what you think God's gonna do next week or next year? Do you think America's Babylon? I mean, dreamer of dreams. I gotta listen to it. And then once people post it, then they write a book and it doesn't happen. Blood red moons, you know. Doesn't happen. God, just stay with the word. Quit wearing me out. If there arise among you a prophet or a dreamer of dreams and gives thee a sign or a wonder, and the sign or the wonder come to pass, whereof he speaks unto thee, saying, let us go after other gods which thou has not known and let us serve them. So God allows this false prophet to fulfill the prediction he's making, to test you if you're gonna go after another god, a little g god, an idol. He wants to know if you love him. He wants to know with lines, signs, and wonders during the tribulation period, how the people are deceived by the devil, the beast, the false prophet. He's gonna test you. He spake unto these saying, let us go after these little g gods which thou has not known and let us serve them. Thou shall not hearken unto the words of that prophet or that dreamer of dreams. For the Lord your God proves you, he's testing you, To know whether you love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, with all your strength. So I'd say vote for Jesus with your feet. Support those who feed not fleece the fly. Don't support the false prophets. Expose them with the truth. Verse 14, and no marvel for Satan himself is transformed. He can manifest himself. Transform into an angel of light. His name is Lucifer Daystar. He can be the most charming, funny, dynamic, gifted of anyone you've ever met. Slick willy. I believe that's how the antichrist is gonna be. And that's why when they say stuff like, oh, I think Obama's the antichrist. No. Not gifted enough. He needs a teleprompter. He's a liar. He can't even remember his lies. I think he said, no. Not charismatic enough. This guy, this AC, he's gonna be slick, man. Revelation sixteen thirteen, I saw three unclean spirits like frogs. This is John describing in the in the tribulation period. Like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon. Another name for Satan, for Lucifer, the devil, the serpent. Now notice this, we're gonna see the unholy trinity, the manifestation of the unholy unholy trinity. I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. For they are the spirits of devils working miracles which go forth under the kings of the earth and of the whole world to gather them to the battle of the great day of God Almighty. They're being deceived to gather together to war against Jesus and stop him from returning. And they're running after, they're chasing after the Jews, the apple of his eye to exterminate, to genocide the nation of Israel. Two thirds of the Jews are destroyed during the tribulation period and a one third remnant according to Zechariah thirteen eight nine is preserved as they flee from the antichrist to modern day Southern Jordan, which is ancient Moab or Mount Seir or present day we call it Petra. That of Basra in Isaiah 63. And so this unholy trinity of the dragon being God the father, the beast, the Antichrist being God the son, and the false prophet being the Holy Spirit, the unholy trinity. Seducing with spirits to seduce the men of the earth, the kings of the earth. So seduced with lies to war against God. I mean, what greater insanity can there be? First Thessalonians five verse three. For when they shall say, and the pronouns, if you wanna look at first Thessalonians five, a contrast of pro ends of them and us. We're children of light. But when they, verse five, when they shall say peace and safety, then sudden destruction comes upon them as to avail upon a woman with child and they shall not escape. Boys, it crazy what's happening in Russia and Ukraine with Germany? Isn't it crazy what's happening with Iran in The Middle East and Israel? Crazy as we're told that China's about ready to attack Taiwan? Is the world, the globalists, are they bringing forth war to cover the economic implosion that's coming? And how do we make sense of anything after war? It's a whole new reset, isn't it? Whole new. Everything's gonna change. Don't be seduced. When they shall say peace and safety then sudden destruction comes upon them as travail upon a woman which shall and they shall not escape. Therefore, it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness whose end shall be according to their works. So don't be seduced. Don't be tricked. Don't be deceived. As Jesus said, be not deceived. Take heed that no man deceive you. As you're lied to, beware a false prophet would come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they're ravening wolves. So test them. What's your gospel? Who's Jesus? Who's the Holy Spirit? Test them. Use the word of God. For the mystery of iniquity does already work. Second Thessalonians two verse seven. Only he who now let it will let until he be taken out of the way, and that wicked shall be revealed. That restrainer is the Holy Spirit working through you, the church. And when the Holy Spirit is taking the church to heaven in the rapture, then it says, and then shall that wicked be revealed whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth and destroy with the brightness of his coming. Even him who's coming after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders and with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish. Why? Because they receive not the love of the true, that they might be saved. And for this cause, God shall send them a strong delusion that they should believe a lie or the lie. That they all might be damned who believe not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness. Don't be seduced. Don't be bewitched by the wicked one. If you continue in my word, Jesus said, then are you my disciples indeed. So how do we know you're truly a believer? You continue in his word. You don't fall away from his word. If you continue in my word, then are you that's the proof. Then are you my disciples indeed? In John six, many of his disciples no longer walked with him. They were disciples. And Jesus turns to the 12, are you gonna leave me also? Where are we gonna go? You have the words of eternal life. Nowhere else to go. But the irony is that the disciples, those that were there for the loaves and the fishes, the health, wealth and prosperity gospel, they left when it came to getting rid of all the externals and worshiping Jesus just for him. To eat his flesh, to drink his blood, to get to know him, to have communion with him. And for this cause, God shall send them a strong delusion that they should believe a lie. That they all might be damned who believe not the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness. And you'll know the truth and the truth will make you free, Jesus said. Hard to be seduced if you know the truth. In John sixteen thirteen, we'll finish up here. When he, a person, when he, the spirit of truth, has come, Jesus is gonna he says the expedient that I go to the father. Because if I go to the father, I'll send the comforter. I'll send the Periclitus, the one who comes alongside. He's gonna convict the world of sin and righteous and judgment of sin because the world doesn't believe on me. Of righteousness, you want to see the righteous standard? It's batting a thousand and I'll prove it by ascending to heaven. If you're a perfect hitter, you get to go to heaven. You get to send to heaven. Right? Of sin, of righteousness, and of judgment because the prince of this air, the devil, is judged. So when he, the spirit of truth, has come, he will guide you into all truth. So they got AI. They got deception. They got lies. We have the Holy Spirit. We have the word of God. And if we yield to the Holy Spirit, the Holy Spirit will guide us into all truth. Now I want to emphasize here, all truth. Two plus two equals four. You don't compartmentalize truth as just spiritual truth, only available to you as a Christian. Many people that profess to be Christians and have the help of the Holy Spirit shut their churches down during COVID And then later regretted it. Now they should be the bastions of the most Holy Spirit, spirit filled leaders than anyone, but they took the bait and were deceived. So don't tell me just preach the gospel and not worry about vaccinating your child, your grandchild, and them getting autism because of the timrosol, the mercury, the bundling of these vaccines where there's too many for the little guy's nervous system. And now they've got a five thousand increase in autism. You as a spirit filled mother or father should say, you know what? I'm glad my name's written in the lamb's book of life. I'm glad I'm saved. And I may not know the day or the hour when the Lord Jesus is coming, but he's entrusted these children to me and two plus two is four. And I'm not gonna speed a hundred miles an hour because I'm gonna get a ticket. And I'm not gonna run red lights because I might crash and burn. And I'm certainly not gonna vaccinate my kids because I've learned that it could be detrimental to their health. Yes. You're still going to heaven. Yes. Your name's in the Lamb's book of life. Pastors are having heart attacks and strokes. The genocide of COVID is happening now. I don't want to be a spiritual leader, filled with the Holy Spirit and say, I was guided into all truth and I told everybody, take the jab, even Jesus would. I would be ashamed of myself as as a spiritual leader. Sharing the gospel, oh, just share the gospel. That's so simplistic. The entire Bible is the gospel. He'll guide you into all truth, for he shall not speak of himself, but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak. And he will show you things to come. Prophecy. He's gonna share the gospel. He's gonna bear witness of Jesus. Who's the gospel? The good news? And he's gonna show you, church in the last days, things to come. You're gonna have the discernment. When Trump taps Palantir, Peter Thiel, to make a database of every single American, you're gonna recognize how that ties in with Revelation 16, Revelation thirteen sixteen through 18. You're gonna say, hey, one day, nobody's gonna be able to buy or sell without a bio metric ID. Kathy and I have the new ID. We took the beast. We have the new one. We can go to Canada and to Mexico within it. It's got an RFID kind of a thing in it. But when we're at the at the airport, they also took a picture of me. So now they got facial recognition on me. They don't have my DNA, as far as I know, like Netanyahu did with the Israelis and gave it and sold it to to Pfizer. They don't have my DNA yet. But this new palantir, Peter Thiel, Elon Musk, Elon Musk and and Peter Thiel started PayPal. Peter Thiel's the one that made JD Vance. Musk went in. Now here's another one. Go to Calvary Chapel Bremerton's Facebook page. And I posted this Palantir article where Trump is tapping Palantir, Peter Thiel, to make everybody in America be on this database, a digital database. And then look at the second one I posted of Catherine Austin Fitz, describing Doge and the emphasis upon getting all the codes and everything to digitize Social Security, the banking accounts, the treasury department, how the government presently functions to get our government ready for the new digital reset economic system. You don't just hide your head in the sand and say, just preach the gospel. He wants to show you things to come. You should be excited because it's telling you, hey, the beast system's close. That means the rapture of the church and the coming of Jesus is even closer. That's where your hope should be. You shouldn't hide your head in the sand and just the idiocy of just preach the gospel. We all preach the gospel. He will guide you and show you things to come. I get excited, in case you didn't know. I get excited when they show their hand. When they show what I said to you, I'm voting for him because he's gonna usher in the bee system sooner. I almost put on there, I told you so, but I didn't think you could handle it. Or at least your friends that already left the church who just want to hear the gospel and don't want to hear about this stuff anymore. But that's okay. We'll pray for them. But the point being, it's exciting. Everything's aligning. It's coming together. As Jam Raquel said, it's not falling apart, it's falling into place. And so when you see these things begin to come to pass, Jesus said, look up for your redemption is drawing nigh. So the false prophets are not gonna warn. They're not gonna want you to be ready. And so here's another one. You know that the UN, the the World Health Organization recently are passing these laws that they have authority over the next pandemic that China's already dealing with one? Are you ready for COVID two point o as Bill Gates has promised? How will you handle that the first time is going to be important to in the second time as it comes through. You're not gonna be deceived. Your eyes are open. You can't be deceived this time. You can't be. So that's that's where my job as a pastor is to get you that they can't deceive you. They just can't deceive you. You're too informed. You're too biblical. You have the Holy Spirit. You know Jesus. And the other thing is, you're not in love with this world. If you're not in love with this world, then they can't leverage you with covetousness. All the promising of a golden age and all the money gets your bigger pockets because you're gonna get money, you know it's a lie. And you're ready for Jesus to come back. So father, we thank you. Be not deceived. Lord, please help us. Help us. We regret the times that we've been deceived, Lord. We regret. We regret so many times in my life, Lord. Guy's selling me some jewelry and I find out it was aluminum. It wasn't a Rolex. Man, took them right up to my bank and pulled the money out right there at the ATM. What a fool. Lord, it's happened to me so many times. Gosh, I played the fool. Help me to rely upon Cathy Moore to discern for me, Lord. Help me to rely upon you by your Holy Spirit to cause those red flags to go up my heart and and like lost in space. Warning warning warning, Lord, help me. Help me not to fall in the ditch, Lord. Be blind, leading the blind into the ditch. Keep us safe, Lord. Secure us. Give us ears to hear what the spirit's saying to the churches in these last days. And Lord, we pray that greater and greater discernment would permeate the church. That more and more would be awake and high time to wake out of sleep for our salvation is near than we first believe, Lord. And Lord, help us to proclaim the glorious gospel, the good news of of salvation to those who are perishing of your soon return. Help us, Lord, we pray. If there's anybody here this morning and you don't have an understanding, you don't know Jesus, Christianity is a relationship. We wanna give you the opportunity to get to know Jesus, to receive Christ in your heart and life. If you're turning from your sin, if the Holy Spirit's convicting you, showing you that you're undone, that you only bat 300. And batting 300 may get you into the Hall of Fame, but it's only gonna get you into hell spiritually. You need to bat a thousand and you can't do it, but Jesus did. Jesus is perfect. And it's his righteousness that gets you into heaven. And you receive his righteousness by grace through faith alone, by trusting in him, by trusting in his finished work to Talus die paid in full. So as you profess, if you call upon the name of the Lord, you're gonna be saved. So in John one, he said as many as received him, to them gave he the power to become the sons of God even to them that believe on his name. Do you believe on his name? You're depositing your trust in him relying only upon him for your righteousness. As you're turning from your sin, you're crying out God be merciful to me a sinner. He hears that prayer. He hears that cry. And he and he he understands your frame. He understands that he formed you from the ground, from the dust. And his expectation of you is not as bold and as big as you conjured up in your own mind. He knows what a failure we are as human beings that all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. There's none righteous. No, not one. The Lord has laid on him, upon Jesus, the iniquity of us all. That all we like sheep have gone astray. So it's no surprise that you're here this morning. That God has brought you to this humble place and that your heart is crying out for Jesus. That's the work of the Holy Spirit. Simply surrender now. Yield to the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Spirit will come into your heart and life. This is what the bible describes as being born again. No longer body and soul, but body, soul, and spirit, the life of the spirit. You'll be transformed. Anyone here this morning, just lift your hand up. Lift your hand up if you are that person wanting to receive Christ this morning. For those of you on Facebook, you pray along these lines. Dear heavenly father, I thank you for your son Jesus that he came to humble himself, to take on the form of a man. He left the splendor of heaven to be the last Adam. To live a perfect life. To be punished. To have your wrath poured out upon him. To be a substitute that he would die in our place. That he would receive the punishment upon himself that we deserve. That he was crucified, that he was buried, that he raised himself from the dead, that he ascended to your right hand, that he's coming soon. He's coming again. Please come into my heart and life and make me new. Please write my name in your lamb's book of life. And Lord, fill and use me for your kingdom and glory. Loom in my heart and mind and lead and guide me into all truth. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.
