Pointing to Stephanos, Aquila and Priscilla and the example of the early church, he encourages committed service, home-based fellowship when necessary, and affectionate mutual care. He closes with the solemn charge Maranatha our Lord cometh and a benediction of grace and love, calling us to repent, hold to the gospel, and live under Christ's lordship.
