He lays out four facets of sonship: our exalted position as joint heirs with Christ, an enlightened eternal perspective that sees present suffering as fleeting compared with future glory, the eventual perfection of our glorified bodies, and the Holy Spirit’s help in prayer. Beaudry calls us to yield to the Spirit, endure tribulation rather than chase a prosperity gospel, and live with the hope of Christ’s return that purifies and sustains us. He closes with an appeal to be born again and to trust the Spirit’s intercession for our weaknesses.
