We lift up balance, Selena and Shannon, and just so many so many people succumbing to various sicknesses and things, Lord, challenges. And, Lord, we just thank you that you're the great physician. We thank you that Alan's getting better and Selena's getting better and Kathy's feeling better. And Lord, we pray for Shannon for her iron levels to, increase her energies and things and, for Shannon and and just, Lord, you know each one and we just pray that you undergird and strengthen us. You help us tonight as we study your word, that you would inhabit the praise of your people, Lord, that we'd make you smile tonight, that you would smile, that you'd be well pleased, Lord, as you, inhabit the praise of your people where two or more are gathered in your name. There you are in the midst, and, we just lift this time up and commit it in your hands and pray that we'd be a blessing unto you, Lord. In Jesus' name. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. There you go. Alright. Thanks, Rob. Yes. Alright. So Genesis chapter six. Okay. Father, we thank you for the privilege and the blessing of studying your word, the freedom of assembly, freedom of speech, and having your word, having the Bible, and living in a country that still recognizes to some degree your sovereignty and in some respects, but Lord, whether or not they recognize or not, you're still sovereign. You're on the throne. You're in control. And no matter if the whole world rebels against you, the entire world and Satan gets everybody to come against you, Lord, you... You've got eight people. Eight people, Lord, gathered here tonight, and we just thank you for your faithfulness. We thank you that we're two or more gathered in your name. There you are in the midst. Thank you for the lessons we're learning with, Noah and that whole generation of people and, the importance of faithfulness in in the in the midst of tremendous evil. And Lord as you said, as it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be in the time of the coming son of man. Help us Lord to understand the times in which we're living and how they correlate, how they parallel, things that we're learning here, in the book of Genesis concerning Noah and the time of the flood in your judgment. Help us Lord, we pray in Jesus name. Amen. Alright. Students of prophecy. So we'll pick it back up at verse five. We saw where this daughters of men, the sons of God saw and they took them wives of whom they chose and so the daughters of men. So the the women, human human women were being intermarried with angels, fallen angels that the Nephilim called the fallen ones, and and they were producing a hybrid. And the reason for this was in Genesis three verse 15, God said that the seed of the woman that Jesus would come. Hebrews one talks about he'd come not as an angel but as a man, the son of man, and so the seed of the woman is the virgin born son of God because Adam in his nature, Adamica nature has fallen, so our first federal head fell. He was... He transgressed and Eve was deceived, and so God gives the gospel there in Genesis three fifteen that the seed of the woman, the virgin virgin born son of God, that is he'll be bruised, that Jesus would go to the cross and and that he would crush the serpent's head. And so Satan wanting to fight against God, having rebelled against God with one third of the stars falling with Lucifer prior to the creation of the earth. Now he's down on the earth. He's slithering around like a serpent. He's talking to Eve, and when Eve, gave in... When Adam and Eve gave in, they forfeited the sovereignty, the... Being the federal head over the earth. And so Satan, not only the usurper, became the little g god of this world, the prince of the power of the air, and he also had one third of the angels, which we call demons today, that are working with him in their rebellion against God. And so as Adam and Eve were leaving the garden, they tried to cover their nakedness, their conscience was violated. They... God had given them a conscience and God had given them a free moral agency. They're made in the image and likeness of God, and we'll see that in that image and likeness of God, there's a power of choice. Adam and Eve chose to sin and Adam transgressed, but they didn't choose a life of rebellion against God like we see in chapter six here. Outright apostasy rebellion against God. And so God, in his grace and his mercy, didn't allow them to partake of the tree of life, lest they would remain in their sinful condition, you know, perpetually for eternity, but he had flaming swords there to keep them from there, and he didn't accept their religious effort of covering their nakedness with coats of... With fig leaves, so the Lord gave them coats of skins. And as we're gonna see in the story of Noah, there's a strong indicator that Cain and Abel, they too were taught the importance of a blood sacrifice because those coats of skins, blood had to take place for God to kill those sheep or whatever it was he, clothed them in, and the Lord explaining to them that the Messiah, that one day that his blood would be shed and that he's the lamb of God that takes away the sins of the world as John the Baptist said in John two. And so Adam and Eve had righteousness imputed to them by grace through faith. They believed in the Lord and and it was imputed to them for righteousness. So now you have children, lots of boys and girls and sons and daughters and comes to Cain and Abel and Cain kills Abel and the occasion of that is that Abel offered a prescribed sacrifice, a lamb, and and Cain brought the work of his hands, kinda like the fig leaves, you know, the effort of his hands as a farmer. God rejected that, and Cain got indignant, envious, jealous, angry with his brother, and picked up a rock and slew him, killed him. And and so we go from there. And we move into chapter five, and he died and he died and he died and he died, and we see the lineage in chapter five, which is an indicator that everybody sinned, including the line of Seth. So in this chapter, you can't you can't go with the line of Seth as the sons of God saw the women that they were good and this was the godly line and that's that's Chris Austen and early church father Augustine. They tried to perpetuate that and as a part of Catholic dogma, the best way to understand this is to use the Bible. Last week, we used the Bible and we saw in Jude, and we saw in Peter alluding to the angels that left their first estate that fell. And and so we saw the indicator there that they're called Nephilim. They're called in the Greek, let's see, in the Greek, Gigantes. That is where they get giants from, and in the Latin, Titans throughout Greek mythology. And so we saw throughout history there, we've seen these giants. And then we also saw that although they're incarcerated in Tartarus, another compartment that Peter alludes to, and... Let's see here. That Peter alludes to, one time found in the bible Tartarus, but also found in other Greek manuscripts, that it is incarcerating these really bad demons that are being held there, but then it says and also afterward. So then we looked at the occasion of Caleb and Joshua and coming across giants, you know, in the land and king Og of Bashan, and we saw that even after the flood, Satan is still attempting to pollute the gene pool, to pollute the gene pool so that Jesus can't come back the first time he's trying to... That he can't come as the babe of Bethlehem, but Satan failed. Jesus came as the babe of Bethlehem, but now he wants to destroy the gene pool in that he could destroy the whole nation of Israel, he could destroy all of humanity that who is he coming back for? He's coming back for transhumanists, you know, and the usurper, the devil with his unholy trinity, he still envisions that people... Everyone will worship him as God, a counterfeit God the father, and then his antichrist, who the Bible also prophesies of in Genesis three fifteen, seed of the serpent, that he would be the counterfeit for Christ in place of Jesus Christ, and then the false prophet being the the counterfeit holy spirit. Now the problem with this is Satan, Lucifer, Isaiah 14 and Ezekiel 28, he is a fallen angel, and he's tantamount or equivalent to that of maybe Michael the archangel, Gabriel. When he finally does, when he finally is incarcerated in Revelation chapter 20, it only takes an angel to grab hold of him and put him into the abyss. So he's not the opposite of God, but for this to play out, this... To expose the free will of man, what man would choose, even in the millennium when man has a... An environment with Jesus ruling and reigning, and you and I rule and reigning kings and priests, the human beings that begin to repopulate the planet in a in a environment where there's no more curse, just like Adam and Eve, before the curse, man's heart is the problem. A man chooses, to rebel against God. Satan's loosed at the end of that thousand years, and we see there's a big coup again... A coup attempt again, a rebellion against God even at the... In the time of the millennium. So in this present age, the church age presently, God's calling out a bride, Jew, Gentile, barbarian, Scythian, bond free, male, female, and, and Jesus said, as it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be in the coming of the son of man. So this this corruption where the... It's a keyword here, corruption in this chapter. This corruption is is going to continue even in the time in which we live where when you start to hear about aliens coming and UFOs, Once again, Satan is gonna try and use his fallen angels to deceive man and to give the technology to Elon Musk and the rest of these guys where they can try to bring forth a hybrid, a hybrid human being. Some would say that the mRNA vaccine and the injections and things like that are fundamentally changing the cell of human beings. And, part of the mark of the beast, others are saying, would also be a move in the direction of of changing people's DNA. They'd no longer be, human. They'd be a hybrid of of of a fallen angel, and human being. And so God is going to preserve a seed. He's gonna preserve a seed, so that Messiah can come, but also he's going to preserve seed, at the end of the age, when Satan tries it once again. So you got a 144,000, 12,000 from each tribe in Revelation fourteen seven and fourteen, and and they're they're marked. They're sealed. There's no way Satan can ruin the... That DNA on on those guys, these Jewish young men. And you've got a one third remnant of Jews who are gonna be saved at the end of the tribulation period. You have the church that's already been raptured and it gets their new glorified bodies. You have what's called tribulation saints that Satan can't get a hold of. Revelation six and seven, innumerable multitude of people beneath the throne of God who gave up their lives by refusing this, and many would say, this DNA change, this taking of the mark of the beast, identifying with the beast in that beast system. Now Satan, as I said, is a fallen angel. He's not omniscient. He doesn't know everything, but he's a great student of the Bible. He's a great student of psychology and human behavior and science and and he's a... He's far superior than you and I as human beings. We are made a little lower than the angels. And he's not, omnipresent. He can't be everywhere. He's gonna need flock cameras. He's gonna need data centers. He's gonna need technology to... As best he can to try to put together his web of surveillance, his surveillance web in the time of the tribulation period. And we're watching the birth pangs of this. We're watching the birth pangs of this system develop what we have termed the beast system. So again, in Luke chapter 17, as Jesus said, you know, as it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be in the coming son of man, and he goes on to describe how they're marrying, they're given in marriage, basically business as usual, but there's another aspect of this in that the fallen ones were messing around the time of of of Noah, and then there were also tremendous sexual sinfulness in the time of Sodom and Gomorrah because Jesus said just as also was in the time of Sodom and Gomorrah, the people going after strange flesh. So there's a there's a component there of of of a intermarriage that's corrupting, the DNA and corrupting humanity and practices and things that just repents God that even makes man. And so in in verse five, says, and God saw the wickedness wickedness of man was great in the earth and that every imagination of the thoughts and hearts of evil was only evil continually. Now when we go to second Corinthians chapter 10 verse four and five, the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty of God to the pulling down of strongholds. And and we take... Paul's talking about your thought life. He's talking about the way you think, and the propaganda of this beast system is such they wanna censor all biblical thinking. They wanna remove the Bible and prayer from school in '61 and '63. They wanna remove every vestige of of biblical thinkers and thinking and we're the ones that don't fit in. And so some are gonna give the reason that we're gone is that the aliens took us, you know, but we know it's the rapture and we know that the Lord's coming for us. But in the interim here in the birth pang period, we're gonna have a harder and harder time refuting the wickedness of the wicked one and the things they do. And some are saying with the six g technology and the towers and a lot of different eve... WiFi that actually the fiery darts that we read about in Ephesians six, we're we're getting thoughts coming at us that are making some people go insane. You know, they're starting to have images and hearing voices and hearing things, and we know that's part of the demonic. Could it be tied in with the technology also? But we have to be in the place of as a man thinketh in the heart, so is he. We need to be biblical thinkers like Enoch was. He walked with God and was not. Enoch walked with God and he thought along the lines of obeying God. Noah also walked with God. Right? And so he's walking in obedience unto God and he's teaching his children to walk in obedience unto God. And so we're instructed that anytime we hear anybody bring forth, you know, the czar of AI or an image or anything that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, you know, that we're to take that thought and and that image, that imagination, and everything that their doctrines of demons and we're bringing it all to the obedience of Christ. We're to measure everything. Everything has to go through the filter of God's word. Amen. That's why it's so easy for a spirit filled Christian to know that they know that they know that the spirit of this age is not of God because of pride. Anytime you see pride boasting, the antichrist is described in Daniel seven as a boaster, big big mouth, blowhard, you know. And I don't know if you're seeing anybody on the scene like that right now, but but loves gold and things like that to give you a little idea, Nebuchadnezzar. But that should just be a huge red flag going off that, hey, this isn't my Jesus. This isn't the spirit. This is the spirit of antichrist. This isn't the holy spirit that's leading, guiding, directing in this area even though they might try to Christianize it all. So second Corinthians five or ten ten four and five. I know... Saw Bernie looking there. I think I said five. Ten four and five is very important to understand how you and I are gonna fight moving forward as Christians, lest we succumb and get seduced and get sucked into the vortex of all this deception. And and so these guys were... Excuse me. Every imagination high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God and every thought you bring it into captivity. So every day we gotta filter and especially with our kids. If you have kids that are going to public school, really important that you debrief them and continue to take every thought, every idea, every indoctrination and bring it all back to the obedience of of Christ because lest they get into college and they throw away their Christianity. And so if you're not homeschooling them and and for whatever reason they're in the public school, God holds you responsible to train them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. And I know it's hard. We're living in a hard hard time. You don't have much help. Great in the earth and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. So what's happening in Genesis two verse seven, he's made in the likeness and image of God and that he's not a robot. Man has the free moral agency, the the ability to think, to reason, and God has also given them a conscience. God hasn't given them the law yet. They don't have the Mosaic Law, but they know from conscience that murder's wrong. When Cain slew his brother, he knows it's wrong. Adam and Eve, they're gonna lie to God. They know it's wrong. God's given a conscience. But the conscience of man is failing now. The conscience of man is like Paul would describe severed with a hot iron, past feeling. They're past the point. So today, people would have terminology that would describe people in this condition. You won't hear them say they're demoniacs filled with demons, but you will hear them say they're psychopath or narcissistic, which means, know, intensely selfish, you know, and how do you... How can you spot a psychopath, you know, people that can do evil and not feel anything and blame everybody else, you know, play the victim. And that's where these guys had reached. They reached this place where there is proud as Lucifer, the person they're following or the the little g god that they're following. And the second Peter two four, these these demons, these fallen ones, these Nephilim, they're put into a place called Tartarus as we said, and the thought and intents of their heart were only evil continually. And and I want you to understand here, When we get over here, notice in verse 12, and God looked upon the earth and behold it was corrupt for all flesh had corrupted in his way upon the earth. I want you to understand very, very important with the midterms coming up. It's not just Democrats. Republicans sin too. All means all. So don't fall into that trap of thinking you're good like a Pharisee and all these Democrats. Now I'm watching on Facebook. Everybody's calling them communists. Oh, I'm a mega guy. I'm Republican, and I'm a good guy. No. All means all. All have sinned and come short of the glory of God. Okay? And and these sons of Seth that people think are so good, no, they sin too. That's why they die. And that's why the sons of God are fallen angels, not the, you know, sons of Seth. So just get over it. Alright. So and and the reason God brings us to Romans three twenty three, all have sinned, come short of the glory of God, is so that salvation can be a free gift. Mhmm. Right? It's a gift. And all we like sheep have gone astray, and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all. The only hero we have moving forward Jesus. Is Jesus. Vain is the help of man, Psalm a 118. You know, it's foolish to put your confidence in man. Don't do it. And leaders that we elect supposedly, we don't elect anymore, they're appointed, they have to be chained to the constitution, but they're not. They arbitrarily do whatever they want. And so our our form of government is wholly inadequate for immoral people. We're immoral. We're corrupt. We don't even know what murder is anymore. Mom can murder three babies and and she gets rewarded with $3,000,000. What a what a country. What what a culture. You know, where are we at? We're... Just as it was in the days of Noah, Jesus said, so shall it be in the coming son of man. The corruption's gonna be over the top. And and so it repented the Lord that he had made man on the earth and it grieved him in his heart. There's no fellowship. God made you and I, as we talked about on Sunday, we are and were made for his pleasure. God takes pleasure in you and I knowing him and walking like Enoch did, walking like Noah did. Our walk with the Lord is along a narrow path with Jesus. And God has made us that we might know him and enjoy him forever. And that's that's the reason he's made us. And when we choose to walk away, if you've ever had a son or a daughter walk away or a loved one walk away, it deeply deeply grieves your heart and the Lord's grieved. It's breaking his heart. He had a higher purpose, a higher intention of making man, not that he would be, you know, I use the term satanized, you know, influenced by Satan, but Satan's there to provide door number two or door number three or door number four, an alternative view, an alternative choice because had God not given man the power of choice, then our relationship would not be a love relationship. It would be performance based upon algorithms and programming where we simply follow him and say we love him because that's our programming. But he didn't make us like that. And so it's it's a choice. God doesn't send anybody to hell. He sends the angels to hell, the fallen angels. That's what hell was made for, but he won't force anybody into heaven and he doesn't send anybody to hell. People go to hell by choosing to go to hell by rejecting Jesus Christ. So and it repented the Lord that he had made man upon the earth and it grieved him in his heart and the Lord said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth, both man and beast and creeping thing and the fowls of the air for repent of me that I've made him... Made them. So there's... Some say there's close to 7,000,000,000 people on the planet by now mathematically with living to be 900 some years old and the depravity of man is is evident, sin lost. And then we come to one of those beautiful studies in the Bible, the but God passages. You know, if you go through and you look at your concordance, but God, but God, but God, but God. In this case, but Noah. The name Noah means rest. But Noah... So you got all these people, got the black, the dark, the, you know, the black velvet of sin, of darkness, and then you got this beautiful diamond set on top of that black velvet and that's Jesus Christ. That's Jesus. Right? But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord. So Noah didn't deserve it. He didn't work for it. Noah found this grace, and this first time we see the word grace, and the word grace speaks of unmerited favor. Noah found favor with God, and we see a little bit about Noah's character. He's a just man and that speaks of him. He's a believer. He has faith. In Hebrews eleven seven, we'll see his life's work that he believed God and it pleased God as he's building the ark. So he's being proven. So when we look at Abraham, the father of our faith, how do we know that Abraham, you know, believed? There's one time where Abraham didn't believe where there was a famine in the land and he went down to Egypt. That's a lapse of faith. Another time, there's a lapse of faith in the area of Gerar with Elimelech with Abimelech with the Philistines and again, he tells Sarah, tell him you're my sister and again, a lapse of faith. But then there's other times he's exalted in faith. He's got lots of faith. So for you and I to be able to see his faith, the crowning moment of his faith is when god told him, doff your son Isaac, you know, as a burnt offering. And we see Abram, a little bit older now, and we see him obeying the Lord. So we see him in Romans four, faith is seen in obedience and and that's how we how we know that he... As he lifted the knife and he said, oh, that Ishmael might live before you and loathed and Isaac shall thy seed be called, and then we look at him in Hebrews 11 and the Lord's talking about the faith that he had that he believed God and that belief in God is imputed to him for righteousness because at that moment, Abraham's believing that if I take this son down, God's got a problem. I'm not gonna lean on my own understanding. God, you're gonna have to raise him from the dead. You know? And Jesus said the gospel was before preached to Abraham. Abraham heard the gospel just as I believe Adam and Eve heard the gospel, just as I believe Cain and Abel heard the gospel. Noah heard the gospel. And we're gonna see that Noah, that he's gonna bring pairs of clean animals, male and female, 14 of them. Why? Who knows what a clean animal is? What's a dirty animal? How's he know? Again, he was instructed about... And then when he comes out in chapter nine, first thing he does is build an altar. Who told him to build an altar? Where did he ever see an altar? You know? And so Adam and Eve had an altar, and Cain and Abel should've known. And Abel did. Cain didn't. And so so the gospel was before preached to Abraham, and Jesus said, Abraham rejoice to see my day, he saw it and was glad. So we're not to the point in time of Abraham yet, but he's is in the hall of faith, but Noah, he's the he's the guy that's gonna pass the torch. He's the guy that the Lord's gonna entrust. So Enoch, like a type of the church has been raptured, and Noah is gonna show as we... As as we're in Christ, we're gonna get through that time of judgment because of God's grace, being in the boat, being in Christ. So grace the first time, he's a sinner saved by grace. He found grace. I, you and I, each of us as believers, we found grace. God found us. I was lost, now I'm found, and God didn't choose the nation of Israel because they're the biggest, baddest nation on the planet. They're the littlest, you know, and... But God wanted to show himself strong on behalf of the nation of Israel, and so it's in the mind and the heart of God. For by grace are you saved through faith and that not of yourselves. It's a gift to go out God, not of worthless any man should boast. So... But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord. That's that's the most precious, precious, precious statement that could be made about you and I, but Rick found grace in the eyes of the Lord. God looked down and says, I'm gonna save Rick. I'm gonna save Kathy, and I'm gonna let them walk with me a walk of faith in marriage. That's the greatest privilege I've ever been afforded. Greatest privilege I've ever been a part of is the walk of faith with a believing wife, not knowing what lies ahead. I still don't know what's up ahead, but day by day walking in fellowship with God with my wife and Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord. And then he says, these are the generations of Noah. Noah was a just man. So if I think of Jairus, the centurion, he was a just man. If I think of Cornelius in acts chapter 10, he's a just man. Just man in the sense of, he does right. He stands for righteousness and, would be an indicator here that, this grace that he found, he believes in Jesus and there's an imputed right righteousness unto him, but he's acting out. He's working out his salvation as we saw yesterday with fear and trembling for it is God working in him both the will and to do of his good pleasure. So he's living out his salvation. He's living out. Paul said Paul said that I might apprehend that for which I was apprehended. Why did God save me? Why did God intervene on the road to Damascus in Acts nine? Why did he do that? Why did he save me? And Agabus, the the prophet, he says, oh, he's a bad dude. I'm not gonna go over there and anoint him and pray over him. You know? He's he's a hitman. He's... No. He's a chosen vessel unto me. Show him what things he must suffer for my name's sake. So that's part of his calling, a chosen vessel thing he's gonna suffer, a calling of suffering. But Paul says, you know what? In this walk of faith, I'm gonna run the race to receive the prize. I'm not gonna shadow box. I'm gonna I'm gonna hit that which I'm aiming at. You know? And I need to run-in such a way that I'm not disqualified. I need to run according to the rules in the Ithmian Games or the Olympic Games. I need to stay in my lane. You know? And... But I'm pressing toward the mark. I'm pressing toward the finish line. And the goal in his heart was to know God, but also to fulfill the reason God chose him. Is that how you're running? Are you running that you might apprehend that for which you were apprehended? Do you see what I mean? And that's where fulfillment is found. That's where contentment is lived is when we are seeking to fulfill the reason God saved us. And it may not always be an objective out there like building an ark. It might and it never never is not, never is not. It always is for the purpose of fellowship. If you live to bring God pleasure in your life, Lord, here am I. Lord, how can I? I want fellowship today, Lord. What would you have me do today? Where where am I to go? What am I to do? Who am I to call? What... How would you fill my day? How should how should I spend this day? And tonight, of you are missing some really good movies on Netflix. Others of you are missing the NFL, some football. You consciously made a decision to seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness to prioritize and say, you know what? I'm gonna go spend time with Jesus with some of his people and we're gonna study Genesis six tonight. Hallelujah. Right? And and the byproduct of that is when we leave here, we're gonna say, I am sure glad I did that. You know, the Lord spoke to me here, there, you know, up in the air. I don't know. And so these are the generations of Noah. I I... You know, there were times where I had to wrestle with going to church, like, oh, am I gonna make it on time, make it on time? And and I said, well, I'm going. I'm going anyway. We're going, Kath. We're going. And I never drove home from going to church regretting that I went. Mhmm. I was always glad I made it. I was always glad that that bad attitude I had and all that junk that I was carrying that I was being ripped off. And by the time we we rode home, you know, driving home, it was like, god, that was stupid. Those things were so stupid, you know. Why did we magnify those things? The devil has ripped me off. So these are the generations. No. He's a just man and perfect in his generation. So he's a saved man. He's a believer. Hebrews eleven seven, somebody wanna read Hebrews eleven seven to talk about his faith and... But he's a just man, he's perfect in his generations and Noah walked with God and Noah begot three sons, Shem, Ham and Japheth. So here's the here's the indicator here. When it says he's perfect in his generations, these fallen angels were destroying the gene pool and Noah didn't engage. Noah, his three sons Shemham and Japheth and their wives were pure, pure bloods. And today people are calling themselves pure bloods. If you get in a car accident and you need blood, is the blood bank corrupted with COVID vaccine blood? Probably. So people are using the term today, pure bloods. I'm a pure blood. I didn't get the jab. And so some people are taking and getting their blood taken from them, and they're having their own family blood bank. In the event they get sick, have surgery, whatever, they have blood that's untainted. How do you know if you have a medical procedure that you're not getting tainted blood? You know? So Noah, his blood is pure pure blood all the way back to Adam. He's a real human being. He's got it all. And and god's looking at the rest of the planet. Now Satan... Think of Satan. Satan did a pretty good job of corrupting the planet. He got everyone, 7,000,000,000 people. He got them all except eight. Eight people. It was down to the nub. It was down to the nitty gritty. Right? Mhmm. Down to the nitty gritty. And God knew all along what would happen, but but look at that. Look at look at look at all that they had, these people had. All they had to live for and to know God and walk with God And they choose to follow Satan. They choose to give in to the fallen angels. And it doesn't say that the fallen angels raped the women. It says they married them. The women who were fair to look at were willing to do this. Ain't that incredible? That's insane. It's just insane. And Noah walked with God. And so just like Enoch, Noah walked with God, which speaks of fellowship, which speaks of obedience, and he walked by faith, not by sight. And who has Hebrews eleven seven? Anybody? By faith, Noah being warned of God with things not yet seen, moved with fear, prepared an ark to save... Excuse me, to the saving of his house by which he condemned the world and became heirs of righteousness, which is by faith. So how many years did Noah walk with God before the crowning achievement of his life? Hundred and twenty. Six hundred years. Oh, six hundred years. So all those years of preparation, all those years like Lot of being vexed and watching the wickedness, watching all the the craziness of the people around you and the stuff that's going on. And it's like, I've been hearing more and more of you say, I heard Jim say it. I heard other people say it. Everybody seems to be saying it right now. I just wanna go home. Mhmm. Mhmm. I just want the rapture. Yep. That's all we want right now. We we know the goose is cooked. It's it's over. Mhmm. You know? There's no fix in this bad boy. It's it's corrupt to the core. Yeah. These are pedophiles in power. And only people that wanna live in denial and treat church as a place of escape, you know, and call themselves Christians, you know, radical denial, cognitive dissonance, and, you know, by the... The beauty of the rapture, the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great isn't taught in the churches. Only 2% of churches are teaching prophecy. So people are using the methodology and the therapies and the rudimentary philosophies of men, lovers of knowledge, to try and fix man and churches to become, you know, therapy sessions. And it doesn't have the power to transform and change a life. And without changed lives, it's just gonna get worse and worse and worse and worse just like it did here. It didn't happen overnight. He's 600 years old. He's walked by faith for six hundred years. God has been preparing him. God has been preparing Noah for this, you know, and and missus Noah. The rabbi's tradition say her name was Naama and she's a daughter of Lamech. We don't have that in the bible, we don't know, but that's what the rabbis claim. And so we don't know missus Noah's name, but Noah, his name means rest. And so he walked with God and you and I are walking with God and Jesus showed us two paths. Right? There's a narrow path and there's a broad path. The narrow path, narrow is the way that leads to life eternal and few there be that find it. Right? And you found it. God, Noah found grace. You found it. You found that narrow path. Right? And then narrow path, Jesus said, I am the way, I am the truth. I am the life. No man come to the father but by me. You're going down an exclusive narrow path. Not inclusive. It doesn't include everybody. No. That's the Broadway. The Broadway and many go in there at. Right? There's a Broadway. There's a way that the majority of people go down in Noah's generation. Everybody except the eight people, him, his wife, three sons, three daughter in laws, that's it. Everybody else went down the broadway that leads to destruction and they had six hundred years up to this point and now God says as Rob alluded to, now they're gonna have another hundred and twenty. Hundred and twenty years as Peter reminds us in second Peter two five that Noah was a preacher of righteousness. And for a hundred and twenty years, he's gonna build this barge. It's a big box. It's about the size of the Titanic, some say, but it's a box, and it's built brilliantly because it can't be toppled. It can't be... Rob's a real good builder here, but this kind would would sink. It wouldn't make it. This is a great big huge box, and some of you, you know, you might go down to Kentucky and see Ken Ham's, you know, the ark. That's exciting. Others of you might realize that Shemham and Japheth are Turks, that the ark is gonna set on Mount Ararat, 14,900 and almost almost 15,000 feet, think it is, or 16,996, almost 17,000. Anyway, that's in Armenia. That's Turkey, present day Turkey. In 1916, some Russian soldiers were flying over, and they saw the ark sitting there on that mountain. And we're gonna see where that ark was preserved with pitch, with tar inside and out. A testimony. The Smithsonian Institute has a lot of artifacts from history that they don't want the public to see. Things that are like like dinosaur prints and things that would prove the bible. Well, the Turks don't allow nor the Russians do they allow people to go visit and go see the location of the ark. The world doesn't wanna know. They don't want that testimony, but God's preserving it. And it's secured... The bigger part of it's secured in ice because it's so high. So regardless of what the people want, God's preserving it for some reason. And again, another testimony of the validity, the truth of the Bible. I mean, that just blows your mind. I mean, if... When we go to Israel and you see the Sea Of Galilee and you see Jerusalem and you see... Physically see what you're reading about here, it's a whole other level of belief, of trust, of factual... Facts. You know? I can look at pictures of the ark, or I can be there and see it. And I look at that wood, and I can say, hey. That's gopher wood. You know? Hey. Just that wood. That's gopher wood. You know? And and then the architecture of it, the design. Is it gonna be 450 feet long? Is it gonna be 75 feet wide? You know? Cubits? How high? Three decks? Can I have a window in it? Can I have one door in the side? You know? I mean, the Lord's laying out for us the the diagram, the the architectural plans for it. And so I'm getting ahead of myself, but here we go. So Shem, Ham, and Japheth. Shem is... Means name, Ham means warm or hot, and Japheth means fair, good looking. And so you got these three guys, again, they're Turks and that's where they get thrust out of, you know, when it finally... A year later when it finally time to go. And the earth also... Now notice the word corrupt. Corrupt. Corrupt. Corrupt. And so the earth also was corrupt before God and the earth was filled with violence. So there's the corruption before God and earth filled with violence. The word corrupt means to decay. It speaks of putrefaction and and it was filled. It wasn't just a little bit. It was filled with violence. Unrestrained violence. Unrestrained corruption. The people's conscience were seared with a hot iron. There wasn't the Mosaic Law yet. So turn to first Timothy. How is man gonna be able to, you know, govern himself with this heart that's deceitfully wicked, that's deceitful above all things and desperately wicked and who can know it? Jeremiah seventeen nine. The problem is the heart of man. The problem is not I'm a republican, I'm a democrat. It's not my skin is black, white, brown, yellow. Some people are prejudiced and think that, oh, look at that. You know? These white guys are evil. You know? We gotta get rid of all the white people. You know? We gotta get rid of the black people. The white people suppress... All the black people, all the brown people, all the Chinese. We all come from Shemham and Japheth. We all have the same blood that Jesus has. Right? It's his blood as a human being. And so let's see here. Where was I going? Timothy. Timothy. First Timothy. First epistle of Timothy. I I want I wanna back it up because I love some of Paul's words here. Verse three, and I besought thee to abide still at Ephesus talking to his young pastor prodigy Timothy, son of the faith. When I went into Macedonia, which is Philippi, that thou might charge some that they teach no other doctrine. So Timmy's saying, you know what? Let there be consistency with doctrine. Doctrine's important. The truth is important. Neither give heed to fables. Boy, this is what's happening today, fables. Don't give heed to fables and endless genealogies which minister questions rather than godly edifying which is in faith, so do. Now, the end of the commandment is love. You and I are governed by love because we're believers. These people that were growing and populating the planet in rebellion to God, it was the opposite of love. They were they were in rebellion. Wasn't love. We're governed by love. We're like Noah, we want to know God, we wanna walk with God and we wanna live lives that are pleasing to God. So even when people aren't looking, we know that God's looking and we don't want to break his heart. So the end of the commandment, love is the fulfillment of all the law. The 613 precepts of the Mosaic law, you can you can summarize it all up as love. Love the Lord thy God with all your heart, all your mind, all your soul, your strength. Love your neighbor as yourself and these two are all the law of the prophets, Jesus said. And Paul summarized as love is the fulfillment of law. Now, end of the commandment is love out of a pure heart. Problem is I don't have a pure heart. I need a new heart. I need to be born again. End of a good conscience. Yeah? I need my conscience. I want my conscience to be active. I want my children to have a conscience that's active. I want them to, be governed in that way even when the... Even when they don't they don't necessarily have the the law imposing upon them or pressuring them. A good conscience and a faith unfeigned, faith in God, from which some having swerved... See, I like that word, swerved, have turned aside... Here's here's a really good one. They've turned aside none to vain jangling. You ever talked to a vein jangler? No. It's called meaningless talk. Meaningless talk. How much of media, how much of what we have to listen to, how much of what's taking place in churches is vain jangling, meaningless talk, desiring to be teachers of the law. So, a, every... Everybody's a pastor nowadays. Everybody knows. We don't need pastors anymore. We got AI. Women in the pulpit, all of it. We we... If we think it, it just must be true. We don't have to follow the word of God. And, you know, James warns us, be not many teachers, judgments may be stronger on you. We're gonna give an account. So desiring to be teachers of the law, understanding neither what they say... Remember Paul's a... He's a rabbi. He's a pharisee. This guy knows the law. Concerning the law, he's blameless. He's like he's like... I was telling Rob yesterday after church, said, you know, Rob, Sometimes I'm really embarrassed to be a pastor today when I hear these guys. It's like it's like you build these really beautiful ships. You're very skilled at it. Lot of work. Lot of... Goes into it. But I have to deal with guys that call themselves pastors that are like small children that go to Walmart and they get a model and they put it together with super glue or something. I'm elaborating and add more to the story, but but basically, it's vain jangling. It's foolishness. It's it's like weirdness, you know. And we try to be those that study God's word, exposit God's word, dig into God's word, and allow God's word to say what it wants to say. And and it's just... It's a clown show that's going on out there. And people, the people don't know the difference. They don't know the difference between that expository preaching and a model from Walmart that a small child put together. They don't they don't know the difference. It's it's it's it's insane. There's a famine in the land for the word of God. And the famine in the land for the word of God is the people are relying upon feelings. They're just going with feelings and existential humanism. If it feels good, do it. Whatever. Every man doing that would just write in his own eyes. There's no biblical basis in what's going on in these churches. It's vain jangling and it's embarrassing to be associated with a lot of this stuff. It's just it's... But we know that the law is good if a man use it lawfully. So even though we're not under the law anymore, right, we're under grace, the law is still a guide. The law is still there. I'm still not gonna murder because I'm living according to love, a higher standard. Right? But the law is still there. The law is good. Anybody that teaches law isn't good, you know, he's gonna be at least in the kingdom of God. But we know that the law is good if a man use it lawfully knowing this that the law is not made for a righteous man. So it's not made for a guy like Noah. He doesn't need to live under the law. He's living according to love. Not made for you and I. We're living according to love. We're like Joseph. We're living on a higher standard. Not the letter. The letter kills. The spirit gives life. Knowing this that the law is not made for a righteous man but for the lawless and disobedient. They don't have the law. They had a conscience but these people were doing that was right in their own eyes. They need a law. They need the mosaic law to correct them. They need a mosaic law to show them who God is. This is who I am. This is my holy standard, you know, and for the ungodly and for sinners. So we can't Christianize this nation. We can't make people walk like Christians and live like Christians. I learned that early on with my mom. Why would I impose upon her a yoke of bondage that neither we nor our fathers were able to bear in the keeping of the law in acts 15? Why do I expect an unbeliever to live like a believer when they don't have the help of the holy spirit? Right? So there's a great grace. There's great extension of mercy and grace toward the unbeliever that doesn't have the help of the holy spirit. Now they do have the law and they have a conscience so they don't have carte blanche to do evil but when they do evil, we're not surprised. When when they succumb to alcoholism, we're not surprised. We don't condemn them. We don't condemn them just as Jesus didn't condemn the woman caught in the very act of adultery. The very purpose he came for was to save sinners, to reach the lost. And the law is used to expose. It's like a guide. It's it's a light that shines upon our heart and upon our actions to show us our need of Christ. You need Jesus. And so, it's for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers, murderers of mothers. How about murderers of their little babies? For manslayers, for fornicators, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for kidnappers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine, healthy doctrine, healthy teaching of God's word. According to the glorious gospel of the blessed God which is... Which was committed to my trust. Now turn to second Thessalonians two. Turn back a little bit. As it was in the days of Noah, so shall it also be in the coming of the son of man. Now remember, Noah's a prophet. Prophecy. Now we've... Chapter two. Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and by our gathering together unto him, the rapture, that you'd be not soon shaken in mind or be troubled neither by spirit nor by word nor by letter as from us as the day of the Lord, the day of Christ, the rapture or or the tribulation is present, the tribulation period. Tribulation hasn't happened yet. People were telling them that the trib happened. Tribs tribs already hear you guys. Nope. The day of the Lord. Let no man deceive you by any means for that day, the day of the Lord, the tribulation period isn't going to come, shall not come except there come the falling away first, the rebellion against God. Same rebellion that we're watching in chapter six against God. Again, at the end of the age, there's a rebellion against God, the apostasy, the falling away from the truth. And that man of sin, here we go, the antichrist to be revealed, the son of perdition of damnation who oppose and exalts himself above all that is called God. So one of the ways people know they're in the tribulation period is the antichrist has been revealed to him. He's there. He goes in the temple three and a half years, twelve hundred and sixty days in from signing that peace treaty in Daniel 09/27 with the nation of Israel, that covenant. And he goes in there and he declares himself to be God, demands to be worshiped as God. Twelve hundred sixty days later is the second coming of Christ. Jesus returns with his bride and with the angels. Alright. Who oppose and exalts himself above all that is called God and that is worship so that he as God sits in the temple of God showing himself that he is God. Remember you not that when I was with you, I told you these things. So he told them what the tribulation period was gonna be like, the birth pangs, the antichrist and all. And some people were come along saying, we're already in the tribulation periods. No. No. No. We're not in the tribulation period. And now you know what restrains. There's the word I was looking for, restraint. The law can restrain evil. Murderers that are executed don't murder again. Right? If you mamby pamby it and say it's not her fault, she didn't get enough hugs, the pharmaceutical companies gave her too many drugs, then you're gonna see a trend of other people murdering their babies. You're gonna see people when they lose the sanctity of life in the country of The Netherlands executing murdering a two year old child because they have down syndrome. You've lost too much corruption. Should have been restraining that evil. And now you know what restrains that he might be revealed in this time. So the antichrist is gonna be revealed but that which is restraining is the work of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit's restraining the beast system and that antichrist to emerge to sign that peace treaty right now. For the mystery of iniquity does already work. It's a mystery, this iniquity, this continuing, when sin does abound, grace does much more but this mystery of iniquity, the love of many is gonna grow cold and iniquity is gonna abound. The abounding iniquity just like in Genesis six does already work. Only he who now hinders will continue to hinder. That's our job. We are salt and light. We are to restrain evil until he'd be taken out of the way. So the rapture of the church is gonna remove the restraint... Restrainer which is the work of the Holy Spirit in and through the church. When we expose evil, when we walk in fellowship with God, sometimes we don't even need to say anything. It's just people looking, they see the way we live. And then shall that wicked, that word wicked is the lawless one. And then shall that wicked one, the lawless one be revealed. So we're raptured, then the lawless one. Now think about that. Think about how unrestrained evil is going to be when the church is no longer here. If you think it's bad now, just wait for the earth dwellers to see all hell breaking loose. The seal judgments, the trumpet judgments, the bowl judgments, just unrestrained evil. Billions of people dying in a very short period of time. Christie's in the right business, the dead guy business. There can be a lot of funerals, man, but she's gonna be with us. So whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth and will destroy the brightness of his coming. So it's war. War is happening. The devil's been at war with God and the only ultimate solution is the return of Jesus and he he slays the Antichrist with the sword of his mouth and the the brightness of his coming and sword of his mouth and and and so corruption here back at verse 11. The earth was corrupted before God and the earth was filled with violence. So unrestrained evil, nothing holding it back. And it says, and God looked upon the earth. God has flock cameras everywhere. He can see everything everybody's doing. He's got data centers. He's... He... He's got angels that are that are watching, checking it twice and seeing if you're naughty or nice, you know, and he knows what you're doing. No. That's the antichrist. That's the world system, a counterfeit. We know in Hebrews four thirteen that everything is naked and open before the eyes of whom we have to do. God sees everything. He knows everything. Satan doesn't. Satan has to learn. And the antichrist is a is a man, the demonic man, that needs the technology to counterfeit the attributes of God. And there is an a whole lot of people that make it through the tribulation period. We don't know how many, but they make it into the millennium at the end of the tribulation period. In Matthew 25, Jesus separates them as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. So even with all those flock cameras and all the data centers and all the cameras, there are people who believe in Jesus who helped the nation of Israel and they make it through in their human bodies not having received the mark of the beast at the end of the trip. So this system... And I like how Brit Gillette always points this out. People are looking at this beast system as just ominous. It's like perfection, singularity. They make a lot of mistakes. It's not perfect. You know? And if you don't believe me, then watch Terminator two and watch how Sarah Connor and the guys took it down, Skynet, and imagine a whole lot of that's gonna happen. So people rebelling against it. So it says corrupt for all flesh had corrupted. Again, I want... I have to emphasize this in the time in which I'm living, the most best way I could say this, all Democrats, all Republicans, all white, black, brown, every single person on this planet is a sinner. All have sinned and come short of the glory of God. Don't let the propaganda get you to hate people in Iran. They're selling war. The fastest growing church in the world is in Iran. Right? Now you may be identifying false doctrine, Islamic ideology. You may recognize things that are wrong, but you need to really understand that the prince of the power of the air, the devil is behind the Israeli government, the US government, the Iranian government. All these governments are run by the prince, the power of the air. The puppets that are in there are demonic people. They're not voting for king Jesus. Okay? They're deceivers. And so don't let your kids, our kids, our grandkids go fight a banker war. You know? They're deceiving you. And why are why are we even there? I thought what... He was a president of peace. You know? Peace and safety. And the Bible says sudden destruction's coming. Oh, I've heard that somewhere. So when God said unto Noah, remember his name means rest, the end of all flesh has come before me for the earth is filled with violence through them that... And behold, I will destroy them with the earth. Now, is there pockets? Is there a place on this planet? Is there a place in America where we can move and not be bugged? Where we can get away from the corruption, the sin, the the everything. I mean, I would like to think so. I would like to think so. I'd like to think of the state of Washington here. I didn't need to move to Montana. I didn't need to move to Texas. I didn't need to move somewhere. Right here, as Eddie said when he came in here, sufficient is the evil of just this day. There's evil every day, everywhere. Yeah. So for me, I just try to avoid the evil every day, you know. I try to stay away from evil people and stuff. It's kinda... It's getting harder and harder, but pretty soon, I'm not gonna be able to have a moment's peace. I'm gonna have to live in a fifteen minute city, and everything I do is gonna be surveilled. And I'm not gonna be able to go out of my apartment downtown Bremerton to go get food unless I get permission. And then when I go, I can only be gone for fifteen minutes. And when I go to buy, I gotta buy cricket powder. I gotta buy bugs for protein because I already ate my my one rib eye a month. I already ate it. You know, that's what's coming for these people. And it's... He likes cricket food. He likes a cricket. No. Oh, okay. And God said, I mean, I I can't judge people's food there. Alright. So God said unto Noah, the end of all flesh has come for me for the earth is filled with the violence through them and behold, I will destroy them, with the earth. So I wouldn't wanna live in Seattle. I wouldn't wouldn't wanna live in the big cities with high crime rates and all. I definitely wanna try and find and live a place to eke out a little bit of peace for my family and safety, but this place is filled. There's no place to go, you know. Now there is one place, the ark. There's one escape, get in the boat, get in the boat, judgment's coming. The only escape is Jesus. Right? Right. And and that's why we gather in little bible studies and all is because we center around Jesus and we we have peace, we have rest and knowing that he's sovereign, he's on the throne, he's in control. No matter how much these guys try to destroy everything, the Lord Jesus, except those days be short and no flesh should be saved, but for the elect's sake, the nation of Israel, the Lord Jesus is gonna intervene. And and so God said unto Noah, the end of all flesh has come before me, the earth is filled with violence through them and behold, I will destroy them with the earth. So make thee an ark and this word ark is a box. It's a coffin. It's a barge, if you will. Great big barge, huge barge is what it means in the Hebrew. And so make thee an ark, now remember, it's never rained yet, and the waters of the deep haven't been broken up to come up. And so, Noah, why are... Why do you have that big boat in your driveway? Why why do you keep year after year after year, Noah? You're a nut job. You are a nut job. And he keeps saying, get in the boat. He's a preacher of righteousness. Get in the boat. Noah, why are you doing this? Noah, did you get permits to build this? Noah, we're gonna send children services over there. You're you're mistreating your kids. Noah, you know, you're... We're... We got the guys with the white coats. They're gonna take you away. They're gonna haul you away, man. You are a nut job. So make the an ark of gopher wood. Anybody know what gopher wood is? It's go for wood. For wood. Go for wood. So make the an arc of go for wood. Rob and Vik are cutting down a lot of trees. No one would have to be cutting down a lot of trees. They're loggers. These guys are loggers now. They've got to set up a mill, and they've got to begin to hone it all. I I don't know quite how how they do it all, but make the an ark of go for wood? Yeah. It's easy for you to say, Gon. It's gonna take me a hundred and twenty years. And rooms. The word rooms there means nests. You need to put some nests in there, places for animals to hang out. By the time he gets all the animals in there... Actually, the lord brings all the animals. He doesn't have to go out there hunt. When my grandkids... When the chickens get out of the cage, I had this big huge fishing net for salmon and we'd go and we'd grab that for them and they chased the chickens around trying to catch them in a net. Can you imagine Shemham, Japheth, and Noah and everybody running around trying to catch all the animals in a net? You know, like a butterfly catcher? No. The... Where we're gonna get there, the Lord said, he brought the animals. They all just started coming. Now the people won't come. I can't get the people to get in the boat, Lord. Lord, I... I'm doing the best I can, this preaching to righteousness, but I can't get them to get in the boat. Imagine how frustrating that'd be and how much your heart would break watching people miss out on eternal life. So make the an ark of gopher wood, room shalt thou make in the ark and thou shalt pitch it within and without with pitch, and so pitch is tar. So some have said that the Rockefeller Foundation Standard Oil that when they read the Bible and they read that there were tar pits in chapter 14 with Chetah Lehmer and all them, and and this pitch here and all readily available, that they knew geologically that, hey, there's a lot of oil in The Middle East. So they went over there and geologically surveyed, you know, Iraq, you know, Saudi Arabia, these whole regions, and brought in Standard Oil to pump it out and make contracts, make agreements with the the countries that are there. And today, we know enormous amount of oil there, sweet oil, real oil that's that's conducive to turning it into energy. Some oil, some some oil, it it it takes more work, I guess, to refine it and all, but it's been said in The Middle East, there's this really sweet crude, really advantageous in the way of of converting it or making it into diesel and gasoline and all that. But man, if you if you stop the Strait Of Hormuz, if you choke it, then you can blame them for the high diesel prices, food prices. It's all orchestrated, isn't it? It's all preplanned. Whole world is getting ready for blackouts and and food shortages and energy shortages. And and and so why are you building data centers that require water and energy that you're saying we're... We have shortage of, you know? You're you're... Bill Gates is buying the water and he's gonna have a whole water thing that people can invest in. He's buying up all the water rights, all the aquifers, these farms and all. These data centers need the water. And... But this pitch is the Hebrew word kaphar and it means covering. So there's a covering that's gonna go upon this ark and the word is used in Leviticus chapter seventeen eleven and it's it's the word atonement. There's an atonement that's made. The same word is used in that way. So on the great day of atonement, a woman, a day of reconciliation for the nation of Israel, you would bring a... The goat, the blood of the goat, and you'd sprinkle, you know, at the at the mercy seat, and then you'd have another goat that was the scapegoat that the priest would confess the sins of the people for that year, you know, upon that goat, and then send it out in the wilderness which was a picture of forgiveness, and the sins of the nation were covered, Kafar, for one more year. Now those of you that have studied with me, you know what I'm gonna say next. In John two, John the Baptist said, behold, take away the sin... Did he say cover or take away, Ram? Away. Take away. Important distinction. Important distinction. Right? Yeah. Year by year, these guys have to go through the ritual, the day of Yom Kippur, the great day of atonement, pointing future that one day Jesus would come and he would take away the sin. So it's it's a means of faith year by year by year. The Passover lamb in Egypt, same thing. The death... Angel of death's gonna pass over. Jesus is that Passover lamb. Right? And so in Colossians, we don't need these days and they were all shadows of that to come. Christ is the fulfillment of all of these types, the typology. And so the ark is a type of Christ. And and when we're in Christ, we've been washed in the blood of the lamb. Yes. We've been covered with his blood. Right? Washed. And and so there's typology here. And this is the fashion which thou shall make it. Of the length of the ark shall be 300 cubits. So different debates about what a cubit is, but basically it's from the elbow to your wrist. So they say 18 inches, the average. So 18 inches. I don't know why God didn't write it in our unit of measurement, but he... You know, some people use the metric system. We have our system. So if we convert, we've got cubits. So 50 cubits, so 300 cubits, the the the length of it. So that's supposed to be 438 long, 75 wide and 44 feet high with the cubit. And and then you're to put a window in it and the window shalt thou make, so God's gonna provide light. A window shalt thou make to the ark, and in a cubit shalt thou finish it above above. So the picture is not just one little window that's a cubit square, it's... You've seen some of the pictures of the ark, they have like porches. It comes out like a porch. The roof's there and it comes out like an eave and then there's a window, a cubit high, all the way wraps around. It's a wraparound so that the animals and those that are in, there's water can't get in but light can and bad smells can get out. You know? Right? Yeah. The methane can escape. Yeah. You don't wanna light a match on the art. You don't wanna light a match. But... That's terrible. But... But some guys say the animals hibernated for a year. Why would you bring food there? Yeah. They also point out there was no multiplying. Nobody had babies for a year. So I could see some animals are brought in as eggs. Right? If you can get two of a kind and... Like in Huntington Beach, they've got two turtles. The turt... Well, are sea creatures. Maybe crocodiles. I don't know. But all the animals that were in the water, you know, there's no need to bring them in the yard. But but anyway, there's a sea turtle up in Sunset Beach, California now, which never happened in the history of of, you know, this time, our lifetime, but the current is so warm, it brought up a sea turtle that came to shore and buried the eggs in the sand. So you could see the Lord bringing juveniles, you know, smaller, like, why do you need a a full mature elephant if you can bring an elephant as two little babies, a boy and a girl, you know. So... And the other thing is when it talks about of its sort or kind, you only need two dogs, male and female, to have all the different breeds branch off of. Right? You don't need German Shepherd, Shih Tzu, whatever. You know? So I like how he said that. But just the two dogs that bring wolves, the whole thing, the dog family. Right? And cats, all of it. So when people are trying to evaluate, alright, how many animals? How how do you get all the animals in there? How do they even catch all the animals? Well, they didn't have to. The Lord brought them. And I always like to say tongue in cheek, and it's not very funny. The animals had enough sense to get in the ark, but the people didn't. You know? It's so sad. The heart of man. Have you ever... What's that? Animals are smart enough to hear God's voice come in the ark. Yeah. He could extend their gestation period. That's right, buddy. That's right. I mean, you don't wanna be dealing with babies and all that stuff. But Mhmm. Anyway, one of the guys said that they wouldn't have all the mess because maybe the Lord put him to sleep. But then you think about that, but he brought food for him. K? And not just for Noah and his family. So I don't know. But I think the bears could go to sleep. Right? Those that do hibernate, that'd be the best way. When I go on a trip, I like to sleep if I can. It's a whole year there. Shemham and Japheth, I imagine when they were building this, they're saying, dad, where's the where's the flat screen TV TV? You know, how are we gonna game? We need to be able to game while we're doing this a whole year on this thing. What are we gonna do? You know? And Dad's calls the Queen. Television and satellite TV and all that kind of stuff. And other guys said that coming from a farm that even low tech has mechanized ways to remove waste. So when I was when I was at a... When I was at seventh grade, went to a dairy farm in Oklahoma for a summer and they had a a thing made up to where when they bring the cows in there and they bring those udders underneath there like Toby did. Toby did it by hand, but they had the pumper thingies. Anyway, the cows come in that spot there and then their waste is like on a concrete type thing that they've devised to get all that to go the direction they want it to go. So anyway, one of the guys said that that probably... They're probably smart enough to make it efficient and we don't have to worry about that. So this is the fashion which thou shall make it, the length of it, okay, we got that, and the cubit and the door and so cubits shall thou finish above and the door of the ark shalt thou set in the side thereof with the lower second and third stories that thou shall make. So three stories and in typology, who is the door? Jesus. Jesus is the door. And John 10, you can look there, and nobody comes into that pen except through him. And Revelation three twenty, behold, I stand at the door and knock. If any man hear my voice, open that door, I'll come in and what's up with him and he with me. And and so a three story barge with a light, whole window system and the door and and we're gonna see that God's the one that shuts the door. How much time do people have before the door is shut? Seven days. How much time? How much time is left for people to get in the ark, to get into Christ before the door is shut? I'm so blessed that Noah had enough grace before God that God saved his wife, that God saved Shemham and Japheth, and that God saved their wives. Eight people, Noah's family. At the very least in my life, my life's work, at the very... You know, what's a profit a man to gain the whole world and lose his own soul or what would a man give in exchange for his life? It's gonna be very very difficult to be in heaven with the realization that somebody very close to me didn't make it. They didn't make it in. Now he's gonna wipe away all tears and some indicate that maybe even our memory, but that's gonna be a horrible, horrible day at the great white throne judgment when we see people that we love and that we are preachers of righteousness and we begged and we begged and we begged and they still said no. It's... And and you you... God takes no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but that the wicked turn from their wickedness. It breaks God's heart. He's long suffering not willing that any would perish, but that all would come to repentance. And behold, I even I do bring the flood of waters upon the earth to destroy all flesh wherein is the breath of life from under heaven and everything that is in the earth shall die. So what happened to the dinosaurs? They died in the flood. Right? Yeah. There might be a few left, a few around. Would we say a dragon is in the dinosaur class? Dragons. Would we say a pterodactyl in the in The Congo, some people say. But it looks like through the fossil record that these behemoth animals died in the flood quickly and the sediment held them in place for them to be fossilized. And... But with thee will I establish my covenant. So when he uses the word flood here, in the Hebrew, it's and it's only used for a global flood, not a local flood. A global catastrophic flood. In the Greek, when the words used for flood, the Noahic flood, it's which where we get our English word cataclysm. So it's catastrophic. So it's in the Greek where it's a catastrophic flood. In the Hebrew, it's and it's only used to describe and also in Psalm twenty nine ten, the Noahic flood. Catastrophic global flood, not a localized flood because we still have floods localized. There's flooding, but this is distinctly different, this word that's used, the kind of flood that God's gonna bring. So he floods the entire earth and even the mountains are underneath and with the the tectonic plate theory, many feel that the mountains hadn't reached their peak, hadn't reached their... Until the plates began to hit and then push the mountains up and all. And so it settles on on Arat. Now Psalm a 104 describes the mountains. We'll look at that too. Psalm a 104. So and behold, I even I do bring a flood of waters upon the earth to destroy all flesh wherein is the breath of life from under heaven and everything that is in the earth shall die. But with thee will I establish my covenant and we see the covenant in Genesis nine nine through 17. God's gonna make a covenant with the Noah, the Noahic covenant, and he's gonna let them know that I'm not gonna destroy the earth by water ever again. And the gays and the lesbians love our rainbow flag, but it's ours. And and the rainbow signifies this agreement shall... And and thou shall come into the ark thou and thy sons and thy wife and thy sons wives with thee. And so it's one thousand one million four hundred thousand cubic feet of of space, 135,000 sheep could fit in it. It's 18,000 species of animals, 75,000 onto the ark. It's of 60% capacity, 4040%... At 60% capacity with all the animals, and they say that the next 40% would be for food and also there's room for more if somebody else would want to come. So we'll get there. So thy sons and thy wife and your whole family is gonna come on in and and of every living thing of all flesh, verse nineteen, two of every sort. So here we come to that word sort in the King James. We're gonna see the word kind, so it's gonna speak of species, and and we have to also include species that we know are extinct today because they weren't extinct at that time. There's plenty of room, plenty of headroom in the calculations for all the animals that we know of shall bring into the ark to keep them alive with thee, they shall be male and female. So every living thing of all, two of every sort shall thou bring into the ark to keep them alive with thee, they shall be made and female. Of the fowls after their kind and of the cattle after their kind and every creeping thing of the earth after its kind, two of every sort shall come into thee to keep them alive and so shall come to thee. Notice it says, God's gonna bring them. Do you see that? They shall come unto thee to keep them. You don't have to be a hunter and go get them. They're gonna come to you. And our kids, they love bugs, don't they? They got a bug museum in Bremerton. They love dinosaurs. They love all these kind of things that we can teach and use to teach them about the ark. And take thou unto thee of all food that is eaten and thou shall gather it to thee and it shall be for food for thee and for them for one year. So you're gonna need a year's worth of food, Noah. And so Noah's a prepper. He's prepping. Do you guys... Have you prepped for food as it was in the days of Noah? Do you have food stored up? Do you have food for a for a year's worth of food? Thus did Noah according to all that God commanded him, so did he. So he walked with God. He's he's a prepper. He obeyed. And now let's look at some... And you remember remember Joseph? Joseph was a prepper. Joseph, the Lord let Joseph know that there'd be a famine and and you're wise to prepare ahead of time. And one of the things that Joseph did being a very very good Jewish businessman is he stored up grain for seven years before the famine came. Then his dad, Jacob, and the 70 that were there in Canaan area and all the other surrounding areas of Egypt, they all went broke. Famine came. We're headed toward food shortages, energy shortages. Claus Schwab said we're gonna own nothing. Right? So if you control food, you control the world. You control them all. And so Joseph began to sell food to Jacob and the brothers went there and bought some and pretty soon everybody's buying food from Egypt. Nobody else has food. There's famine. Joseph's the only one. Well, when they run out of money, what do they bring then? Now the pharaoh owns all the land. The pharaoh owns all the assets. Now they can't even sustain themselves in the where they are, now they got to move into the fifteen minute city in Egypt and Joseph is there fortunately for the children of Israel, the 70 that come down, so they're able to go into the area of Goshen and they're able to bring their as shepherds and being a shepherd was was filthy to the Egyptians. So they're able to, you know, they're able to be there, but they don't own their own land anymore. They don't have their own place, their own houses, their own anything, and now they're renters. They got the landlord there, and then a pharaoh came along who knew not Joseph, and Joseph told the generation after him, you know, hey. Take my bones out of here when you guys leave four hundred and thirty years later with Moses and all. And then the pharaoh brings them to a place where they're slaves. Now they've got to work for the pharaoh and they've got to, you know, build bricks without straw and everything, you know, in the time when when they're finally gonna get in close to the time of leave, about 2,000,000 people. But just fascinating the way that food can be used by those in power to enslave people. Just use... Just enslave them. And we've been so incredibly blessed with our food production and distribution and the way that we get to eat and all. People all over the world, don't have it as good as us necessarily. Kathy tells me in Italy, they got their foods even better, you know. They keep all the GMO stuff out. Alright. We're gonna look at some verses now. Who wants a first Peter one ten and eleven? I can do that. Okay. In Isaiah fifty four nine, who wants that? I'll do that one. Okay. Ezekiel fourteen fourteen and twenty. Okay. We'll go with Luke seventeen twenty six and twenty seven, and then we're gonna go into first Peter. Somebody's doing one ten eleven about the prophet speaking. We're gonna go first Peter three nineteen through 22, and then we'll go into second Peter. So Peter has a lot to say about Noah. Jesus has a lot to say about Noah. Okay. So who's first? Ouch. I got it. K. Of which salvation the prophets have inquired and searched diligently who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you searching what or what manner of time the spirit of Christ which was in them did signify and it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ and the glory that should follow. So Moses is one of these prophets that he's a preacher of righteousness and he's he's being led by the Holy Spirit to preach and let people know what's coming and they they don't wanna listen. And then we're in first Peter chapter three, let's see here. Verse 18. Did I already give that to somebody? '19 through 22? I don't think anybody took it. Okay. Alright. Alright, James? No, Stan. Oh, Stan. Thank you. Thank you. So Noah, preacher of righteousness in two verse five, second second Peter two verse five, he's prophetic and he's letting people know that this ark is a type of Christ and that if you get into the ark, the water is a baptism, a picture, a figure of the death, the burial, the resurrection of Jesus that you're gonna rise above. You're gonna rise above this judgment. You're gonna be preserved through the judgment because you're washed in the blood of the lamb. You're in Christ, he's the door that you you came in through, he shut the door and he's gonna preserve you. He's he's going to get you to the end being come to this very thing that he that has begun a good work in you that he's gonna perform it under the day of Jesus Christ. Now also it says here that Jesus when he died, he went in Ephesians four, he went to the hell and he that ascended first descended lower parts of the earth and he led captivity out of there. He left those in Abraham's bosom. Noah, all of them that had died earlier couldn't be in the presence of the Lord until the crucifixion. And so he emptied that compartment out in Luke 16 which was a double compartment where the rich man and Lazarus were and, but he also went into hell and he preached not the gospel, but a proclamation of triumphal victory that he triumphed over all the demons. He triumphed over all the principalities and the powers in their coup attempt. And and so God used Noah as a figure, as a type of the death, the burial, the resurrection of Jesus, God's wrath being poured out upon his son upon the cross of of Calvary. Alright. In second Peter two verse five, and spared not the old world but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly and turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah into ashes condemned them with an overthrow making them an example unto those that after after should live ungodly and delivered just lot vexed with the filthy manner of life of the wicked and that righteous man dwelling among them seeing and hearing vexes righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds. The Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptation and to reserve the unjust under the day of judgment to be punished. And so, the Lord preserved the eight people. The Lord preserved Lot and his wife, she looks back but his two daughters, they couldn't even bring the judgment upon Sodom and Gomorrah until Lot was secure and and so we're gonna be raptured before the Lord pours out his wrath upon this Christ rejecting world. And then in second Peter chapter three, As it was in the days of Noah, so shall it also be in the coming son of man. We're living in a time where people won't study prophecy. We're living in a time where people scoff at the at the return of Jesus and the Bible says here that they're willingly ignorant. They willingly, they're exercising their will, they don't wanna study it, they don't wanna know about it. And so Paul says... Or excuse me, Peter says, the second epistle beloved I write unto you in both in which I stir up your pure minds by way of remembrance. So you've heard about this before. You've heard about this many many times, but part of being the teacher is bringing things in repetition to remembrance because not... None of us have a photographic memory. We all... This do in remembrance of me because the Lord knows we forget things. Now some of you might have photographic memory. I don't I don't know. That you may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets and of the commandments of us, the apostles and the Lord our savior, knowing this first that there shall come in the last days scoffers. So that's a prophecy. That's a prophecy for the time we're living in. They're gonna mock and they're gonna scoff and recently I made the point that Jeremiah wouldn't have had to write the book of Lamentations if the people would have listened to him. And if you want to scoff then read the book of Lamentations. God warned his own people for forty years judgment was coming. In this case, a hundred and twenty years with Noah and the judgment came. And so Peter is warning them that, hey, don't think that you're gonna get away with it. If God judged the Noahic people, if he judged Sodom and Gomorrah, what makes you think in your decadence and and your evil that he's not gonna judge you, you know. So use it as a as a means of a of a warning, you know. And so they're looking at a point of uniformitarianism is what they call it, that everything's gonna continue as it always has. Why are you guys always pushing prophecy? It's doom and gloom. Well, return of Jesus Christ is not doom and gloom. And saying, where is the promise of his coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of creation. For this they are, notice, willingly ignorant, they don't wanna know of that the world... That the that the word of God of the heavens were of old, speaking the time of Noah and they were standing out of the water and in the water, so Noah, he's our rest, which the world and then was being overflowed with water perished, the Noahic flood, historical fact, but the heavens and the earth which are now by the same word are kept in store reserved unto fire against the day of judgment. So there's a time where the Lord's gonna create a new heaven, a new earth and the former shall not be remembered nor come into mind, but he's going to destroy this present earth by fire, not by not by flood again. Reserved under against the day of judgment the perdition of ungodly men, but beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, a thousand years as one day. So the Lord is not slack concerning his promise as some men count slackness but as long suffering toward us, not one that any would perish but that all would come to repentance. So as we look back at Noah, he's got a... We're gonna look at chapter seven next week, but he's got a hundred and twenty years that God's given him to build this ark. God's long suffering not willing that any would perish. There's plenty of room in the ark. Whosoever will, let him come. And that word come is a word that we can also study next week of come unto me all you that labor and are heavy laden. I'll give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. Learn to me from meek and lowly in heart and you shall find rest under your souls. So the various places where the Lord invites people to come. Whosoever will, let them come. In Romans 10, whosoever calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. So the invitation goes out to whosoever will, but they're willingly ignorant. They won't come, and that's the part, the mystery that I don't understand. Why would somebody choose to not come? Why would they choose judgment? Why would they choose to perish and spend eternity in hell? I don't get it. I don't get it. Doesn't make sense. It's illogical. It's irrational. It's demonic. The devil's taken them captive. You know? And and so one thing I do know is through prayer, God's given us the privilege of prayer to be intercessors, to pray on behalf of those who don't see, and he's instructed us that one man sows another waters. God brings the increase. So the timing of it all, there may be in motion people that you're praying for, that you've ministered to. My exhortation would be don't give up. Don't give up. Jude talks about snatching them out of the fire. Now unto him who is able to keep us from falling and to present us faultless before his presence with singing, the only wise God be glory, honor, and power. And and so we we know that some of them need to be snatched out of the fire, and they're gonna wait till the last minute, aren't they? I don't know why. I don't know why there's such a strong pull and a love for the world. It's got to be deception. Alright. Well, let's pray. Father, we thank you and Lord as we've just scratched the surface, we pray that next week we add more to the story, more to the foundation of the Nuaic flood and and and how it ties in with the times in which we're living as it was in the days of Noah, as it was in the days of Lot. And Lord we see parallels. We see things that are happening presently and the activity of the beast system being built and the rebellion of the wicked one and all of his minions. And Lord, we see the birth pangs coming, the time of sorrow coming that point to, Lord, your soon return. So Lord, we know that time is short, but Lord, we thank you once again that you're long suffering, that you... Lord, you're not willing that anyone parents, that none of our sons, none of our daughters, none of our loved ones, none of our friends, Lord, the the sphere of influence that we enjoy, those that we know, Lord, we we bathe them in prayer. We lift them up to you, Lord. We ask God that you'd intervene, that you'd quicken their hearts and lives and raise them from the dead, Lord. That the light bulb would go on, that, just as you saved us, you would save now, Lord. Save them now, Lord. In Jesus' name. Amen.
