Live from Bremerton. It's Monday night. We are blessed to be here at Robin Vicky's home and Brandon's home here in beautiful Bremerton, and we are gonna study Genesis chapter six tonight. And, we welcome you, those of you on Facebook joining us. We're gonna open with a word of prayer and then, worship the Lord, and, we're gonna have a time of study and then a time of, we wanted to be able to, pray, have some time to pray and partake communion and worship at at the end of the bible study. And so for Selena and Allen and, my wife Kathy and and, Courtney and others who are sick tonight, we wanna be able to intercede and and lift them up before the Lord. So, we come before you, Lord, and we lift up little Selena to you, and, Lord, the picture is just horrific. It's just so overwhelming to see a a little child suffering in that way. And, God, pray that you would do miracles of healing and touch her body and just not let it spread and no scarring, nothing like that, and Lord, we pray you give the doctors wisdom, and Lord, we pray for Alan too, that big hole in his arm. We pray that there'd be no more infection or sepsis or anything that would spread, and we just pray that the healing would continue for Alan and and for Courtney, her back. Lord, we pray that you calm her muscles down and for Kathy, her back's hurting. And, Lord, we lift up John who has cancer, Betty's cousin, and, God, we pray that you comfort his wife and family. And, God, you do miracles of healing with John and give Betty and Ray wisdom on how to comfort the family, ministering to the family, Lord. And so we just commit this night into your hands, we ask that you would bless as we worship you, as we study your word, as we fellowship. Thank you for the food that we're able to enjoy with one another and bless, Lord, we pray. Pour out your Holy Spirit upon us. We ask in Jesus' name. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Alright. Thanks, Ryan. Amen, baby. Alright. Genesis chapter six. Genesis six. Father, we just pray that you would be our teacher. Lord, very controversial section of the Bible and a lot of different ideas and things going on and Lord, we just pray that you'd be our teacher and that we'd allow your word and by the power of your holy spirit to connect the dots for us, Help us to, be able to observe and interpret and apply these things and, help us to continue to grow and learn anew, Lord, to not be, following little rabbit trails that don't don't go anywhere. So just teach us, Lord, just as if we're children. Make it so simple that even a child could understand. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen. Amen. Alright. So Genesis six. In chapter five, we had the sons of Adam. In chapter six, we're gonna have the daughters of Adam. And we're going to cover the first part of this here where fallen angels, the sons of God, began to marry the daughters of Adam or human beings. And the offspring of this is what they would call the fallen ones or the Nephilim, and very controversial. Some people would say, no. This is a differentiation between the line of Seth and the line of Cain, and you you can't connect that. You have to add that to the text. You have to make that up to try and go in that direction. But Chrysostom and Augustine, they popularized this, and it became a real strong part of the Catholic church and all, and even Protestantism. And so it's been a very controversial section of the Bible, and we'll do the best we can to try and discover and look at look at look at things from an undeniable standpoint. So a lot of times what happens is you get to the use of the New Testament to help us understand what's going on or or alluded to here in the Old Testament. And some of this is even prophetic because Jesus said in Matthew twenty four thirty seven, and as it was in the days of Noah, so shall it also be in the coming of the son of man and also as it was in the days of Sodom and Gomorrah. So there's certain reasons here in these first few verses of why God decided to bring a flood because of the disobedience of man. And so it came to pass when men began to multiply, so the gene pool is just exploding with these guys living, you know, 900 plus years old. They're able to have a lot of children and and they multiplied on the face of the earth, And now we in chapter five, we had, and he died, and he and he and he died. Now we have, coming to the daughters. The daughters were born unto them. So daughters were born onto, the people that have been populating the the planet from Adam and through and through Cain and through Abel, you know, Abel died, but I mean, through all of all the people have gone before them. And and it says, and this is one sentence, verses one and two is one sentence in the Hebrew, that the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair and they took them wives of all whom they chose. And so these women these women were like the ladies here tonight, very very beautiful and so the watchers, those that were watching in, they saw how attractive they were. Now I don't know, you know, where the was there such a thing as an ugly woman in that day? I don't know. They're probably all just huge knockout close to close to the gene pool of of Adam, you know, Adam and Eve. And she's finitely perfect, and Adam was smitten by her when he saw her standing there naked, you know, and he couldn't resist. He'd rather he'd rather transgress than miss out on being with his woman. And so so in any event, the the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair and they took them wives of all who they chose. Now, the ugliest women I've ever seen are men that try to be women and I don't I don't understand that. I think it's an affront and dishonorable to women that God made women so beautiful, and they're just a part of the Biden administration in many cases. And, you know, they're they're they're just you know, there's some adjectives you could use, but I mean, just just it's not God's creation. He he made things he makes all things beautiful in his time. You know? And but Satan is a is a is a counterfeit and just very very sad what we see today. And so the sons of God, these are the unholy angels, the one third that fell with Lucifer, and we're gonna prove here that these are angels. These aren't in the line of Seth. There's nowhere in here even Seth is mentioned, but that's what people impose upon the text because the text is kind of scary to some. So in Job chapter one verse six, it says, the sons of God came before the Lord with Satan and and did it again in chapter two of Job verse one, and sons of God being angels, and they came before the Lord with Satan, and God says to Satan, have you considered my servant Job? Man perfect and upright in all of his ways, a man that fears God and eschews evil, and then Satan basically says, well, he's a mercenary. Take away all this stuff and he'll curse you to your face. He doesn't love you for who you are. And so God allows Satan. He removes that hedge of protection around Job and Job's family. And you know the story that Job, you know, didn't sin with his lips. Naked came out of the world, naked on the go, Lord, give the Lord, take away, blessed be the name of the Lord. So in those two instances and and then also in Job 38 verse seven, somebody wanna read that? The sons of God were there, speaking of angels, and they were there at the point of creation. Somebody can read that if they'd like. Thirty eight seven? Thirty eight seven. Yep. I'm getting there. Thirty eight seven. Yeah. When the morning stars sang together and all the sons of God shouted for joy. And so that we're we're talking about angels and and now I can hear people saying, well, Jesus said that in Matthew 22 verse 30 that the angels neither marry nor are given in marriage. In his response, he's talking about holy angels in heaven, the context. He's coming across when the guys are trying to say, hey. A guy had seven seven wives, you know, who's married seven times this woman, you know, or or man or whatever. You know, whose wife will she be? And he says, you do not understanding that the angels of heaven neither marry nor are given a marriage. So when we're in our new glorified bodies and we're in heaven, Jesus saying there's no means or need of procreation, you're eternal and you're eternal bodies and all. And so the holy angels, holy angels neither marry nor are given a marriage. Now, holy angels are always represented in the masculine, never in the feminine. So it's the masculine angels who are seeing the daughters of men that they're beautiful and attractive, and it doesn't say that they rape them. It says there's there's actually like a marriage, you know, like a holy matrimony somehow. I don't know how that works, but marriages. And and so the objective as we see it, you know, we have to ask the reason why, we're gonna hold that back a minute. We're gonna look at Jude, go to the book of Jude now, and Jude verse six, and remember these angels, these sons of God, the Nephilim means the fallen ones, so the unholy angels. And then we're gonna go to first Peter and also second Peter, and we're gonna see commentary in the in the New Testament of what's going on. So Jude verse six, and the angels who kept not their first estate but left their own habitation. So they left their own order, their own function, their own place within the creation order. When we go to Sodom and Gomorrah, we're gonna see that the men left there. And in Romans one, Paul Paul also talks about it there where God created sex for men with women, not men with men or women with women. And so the sodomy of Sodom and Gomorrah was unnatural. It went against God's design and so to these angels, the angels who kept not their first estate but left their habitation, he has reserved an everlasting chains under darkness under the judgment of the great day. So there's a Hebrew or there's a reference here with these fallen angels that did that did that prior to the prior to the flood who left their first state and they cohabitated with women and they offspring were these the Nephilim, the fallen ones. The Lord's saying that he grabbed hold of them with the flood, destroyed everybody in the planet. Noah and his wife and, you know, sons Shemham Japheth and their wives, eight people on the ark. But god took these angels and the Nephilim and all them that had fallen and he incarcerated them. Peter will use a word called Tartarus, and Tartarus is a different word. It's not describing hell, different different places of hell, Hadeshiel, the abyss, the Abuso, the lake of fire eventually in Revelation 20 verse 10, the great white throne judgment. So God is holding back these fallen angels who were involved in this activity. He's holding them back, incarcerated them, and so under darkness unto the judgment of the great day. So Revelation 20 verse 10, the great white throne judgment, they're gonna be judged, and you and I in first Corinthians six are gonna judge angels. We're gonna be a part of the judgment. So he says even as Sodom and Gomorrah and the cities about them in in like manner giving themselves over to fornication and going after strange flesh. So the angels left their first estate in their habitation and they were not supposed to go after women nor are these men to go after strange flesh meaning practicing sodomy. Now you remember in Genesis 18 that the angels that visited Abraham and Sarah, they were in the form of men. You remember in Hebrews thirteen two that the writer is telling us to entertain strangers for some have entertained angels unaware. And so at the at the resurrection, you remember that when the women came to the tomb, there were men there. They were angels always appearing as men. Never women, never little cherub little babies, little floaty fat fat little babies, but always men. And in many cases, human beings like John when he'd seen angel, he's so afraid of the angel that he'd bow down and, you know, start to worship the angel. Peter, when he's in in acts 12, an angel comes to him and, opens the door for him and grabs him and and takes him out and all. But, the angels are able to appear as human beings. So the three that were there in Genesis 18, Abraham and Sarah, they're bringing word. The angel of the Lord, Jesus is there, the third person there, and, first person. And, it's a Christophany, and he's letting Abraham know this time next year that Sarah's gonna become pregnant. Now the other two of the angels, they go down into Sodom and Gomorrah, and they go to grab hold of Lot. You remember? And and Lot takes these men, they appear as men, and brings them into his house because that's part of the oriental culture. That's the Hebrews thirteen two, entertain strangers unaware. In the whole city, it says old and young, which is really sad. They they violated. They had pedophilia with all these young little boys and girls in Sodom and Gomorrah. It's not anything new, the Epstein files and the the proliferation as as it was in the days of Noah, as it was in the time of Sodom and Gomorrah, so shall it be at the coming of the son of man. And so the demonic activity is increasing presently. So this is also prophetic of the times in which we're living, of what people are gonna be involved in once again. He repented God that he made man when he saw the evil of man was only evil continually. It grieved God. It grieved God in his heart. And so the heart of man is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked. Who can know it? And so man degraded very, rapidly, and so God says, alright. I'm gonna have to judge. I'm gonna have to judge humanity, and, we're gonna come back to the reason why in a minute. But, but in any event, the, the pedophilia, the going after the children today, and also today, a return to trying to pollute the gene pool to use the the vaccines and the various CRISPR and all the different technologies today to try and, break down what it means to be a human being. Elon Musk and the guys are calling it transhumanism. And Daniel's vision in Daniel chapter two, the iron mixed with the clay, in many case in many some commentators today are trying to allude that the seed of the woman. So here's the reason why that in Genesis three fifteen, why is Satan trying to do this? Why does God have to stop it? Because the Messiah is gonna be a virgin born son of God. He's not gonna be an angel. He's gonna be a man. We talked about that yesterday in regard to the kenosis, the incarnation, the son of man. And so the seed of the woman, the virgin born son of God, women don't have the seed so impregnated with the virgin birth and and his heel would be bruised but they'd crush the seed of the serpent, the serpent's head. So what's happening is the devil hears this and wants to ruin the human gene pool so that Messiah, the Christ, the son of God cannot come through, the human line. So he wants to try and corrupt, by corrupting with the angels mixed in, and then Daniel picks up on it with the vision that Nebuchadnezzar has, the iron mixed with the clay, and won't adhere. It won't the miry clay won't adhere. So there's gonna be an attempt made with the antichrist, the seed of the serpent, to try and bring him from the abyss and possibly with whatever technology is available, Satan is gonna try and bring forth a counterfeit Jesus Christ that's gonna be the seed of the serpent. Now we know that the serpent indicative of in Genesis three of beguiling Adam and Eve, and so Satan was able to appear as a serpent and also able to talk. So what's in play here, what we're looking at is that even though Jesus said the angels neither marry nor are given in marriage, he's talking about holy angels. What about the fallen angels? The fallen angels who look like men, how are they able to cohabitate with women and have an offspring? If you can answer that, I'd like to know. Do do these angels are they fully developed men with the ability of procreation? If an angel now look look at it in Sodom and Gomorrah. They're passing off as men and these guys in Sodom and Gomorrah want them. Right? They want them sexually. So I lean toward these guys had the plumbing and they were able to cohabitate with women. And the offspring of the mixing of the of the seed of the serpent, these these fallen angels, the offspring of the Nephilim are the fallen ones, and so it's a hybrid. Today, they're trying to make a hybrid human being. They're trying to find a way to change people's DNA, and pastor J. D. Frogger pointed out a lot of times that he did a pretty good deep dive in this, and Billy Crone's trying to follow also, and that it would disqualify people. If they're not human, then they don't have salvation during the tribulation period. If they take the mark of the beast, if they allow themselves to have their DNA changed, whether it's an mRNA vaccine or, you know, the the whatever kind of marking, what can ever kind of technology they're gonna use to to make a you know, those that would follow after Lucifer, follow after the devil, and so a changing of them. And and the iron mixed with the clay isn't gonna hear. They're gonna try it. It's not gonna work. They're gonna think that somehow they're gonna be able to make a hybrid human that's gonna live forever and that's the lie that they believe in that Satan gave to Eve and it's a lie that they believe in second Thessalonians two where they believe the lie, well, you won't surely die. They think they have the technology. Now these guys are far smarter than we are. They're not knuckle draggers and and drooling kind of guys. These guys with living 900 and some years old with the help of Satan too, they the occult and all, they're very, very intelligent. So some some commentators have suggested that maybe these fallen angels that look like Ben didn't have the plumbing, and they didn't have the ability. But what they did in a counterfeit way is they had the ability, and we talked about it yesterday at lunch, and you guys are gonna have to help me with this, With the CRISPR and with the in vitro gonna help me here. In vitro fertilization. Right? So was it possible for these angels with their technology to be able to take part of their DNA and do an invertal in vitro putting it into the women. Right? Put into the women? Yeah. Yeah. So help me, Vicky. What am I trying to say? Some type of artificial insemination. Artificial insemination? Rob Rob laid it out there. Yeah. Did anybody ever have trouble getting pregnant and and and you were helped? You know? The technology is such that they're able to I hear I hear somebody talking. George, you got the answer. Know, able to collect your children from a test tube. Bunch of headbangers? That was before my time. Well, that's interesting, though. That's interesting because whatever technology we think we have an ability to, you know, the seed of the serpent, the seed of the woman, the counterfeit, you know, virgin birth and all, and a hybridization, that's what's happening here. There's a hybridization. The these are not angels. They're not human. There's a mixture going on. Iron mixed with clay. Later with the technology, are they gonna be able to take the iron, the technology, and merge that with the human side and with the alcohol, with the angels. So there's speculation there, you know, we don't we don't know just yet, but as we're looking back for an explanation of how this happened, it's real clear that it's not speaking of the sons of Seth. Okay? Sons of Seth are all gonna die in the flood. Right? And it's not this one group that Seth cites that's righteous and the Kenan site that's unrighteous. No. Just like Republicans and Democrats, they're all wicked. All wicked. There's no there's no voting for the sons of Seth because they're republican and they're holy and they're just, and that's where the messiah is gonna come through. And then we're gonna demonize the all this offspring of Cain. No. Some of the offspring of Cain can believe in the Lord, can be saved, you know. He doesn't just designate a certain bloodline. What he's saying is the Messiah is gonna come through if we're gonna follow the the the bloodline of the Messiah, it's gonna come through the line of Seth. Now in the line of Seth, there's gonna be sons that don't believe in Jesus, there's gonna be some that do, but for the purpose of Messiah and following that all the way to Luke's gospel through Mary and Matthew's gospel through Joseph, the Lord's letting us know that's the that's the the line that he's gonna go through. If these this line of Seth were holy, why weren't they in the ark? How come they didn't get in the ark? How come they all perished, you know, during the flood? So that's that's a very poor, poor explanation what's going on here. So much better like like George has pointed out. People people are looking at having designer babies, choosing their babies, and and that's why in in Norway and other countries, they're they're allowing human beings to determine kill the baby up to one year old because that's not what I signed up for. The baby I I signed up for a baby that had really beautiful blonde hair curly like pastor Rick and blue eyes and and that kind of complexion and came out looking like a dog, you know. I don't I don't want a baby like that. And his ears are supposed to be clamped back toward his head, not sticking out like Obama's, so I I don't want that baby. You know? And they want designer babies. And so I had to kinda joke there a little bit, but in Daniel three twenty five, it's and speaking of angel there in Daniel three twenty five. Now in Daniel three twenty five, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego are in the fiery furnace, and there's a fourth, and he says the son of man and it's the Hebrew word been Elohim. And so I lean toward it's Jesus, but that's the description here of these sons of God has been Elohim is the is the Hebrew word. Alright. So let's go to first Peter three nineteen and twenty. Or no. Second Peter. I'm sorry. Second Peter Right. Second Peter two four through eight. Second Peter. For if God spared not the angels that sin but cast them down to hell, now that word hell, here's that word I told you about earlier is a Greek word Tartarus. So in Greek writing, this word Tartarus is found all through Greek Greek literature but it so happens it's the only time it's found in the Bible. So when we look at hell, a general term, we talk about hell Sheol in the Hebrew Old Testament, Hades in the New Testament. So he that ascended first descended to the lower parts of the earth, that's Jesus in Ephesians four. A double compartment hell according to Luke 16, Abraham's bosom told the thief on the cross this day will be with me in paradise, and so, the thief on the cross came to the place that Lazarus who died and the rich man was across on the other side with a gulf that was there and he was in grievous torment asking father Abraham to send Lazarus to touch the water to touch his tongue and all. So that's a picture of hell, a holding compartment for the for both those who believed prior to the cross and they were awaiting a payment for their sins, Jesus actually going to the cross of Calvary, and then the other side of it a place of torment. Then we see that Jesus emptied out that Abraham's bosom, emptied it out, asked the bodies to be present with the Lord, but the wicked dead that are there in the other side of it in hell or or Hades' shield, they're awaiting the great white throne judgment of Revelation chapter 20 where they're gonna be bodily resurrected from the dead. They're gonna stand before God and give an account of what they did while they're in their body whether good or bad. And then we in first Corinthians six gonna be there also judging with them and we're gonna be judging angels and so at that point in time, the Lord is going to sentence the unbelievers to what's called the Lake Of Fire. There's another aspect of this where we have the abyss or the abuso. So the false prophet and the Antichrist, they're apprehended and taken by an angel to the lake of fire in Revelation 20 verse three and but but the devil, he doesn't go to the Lake Of Fire until after the millennium and so after the millennium, every every every entity, every angel fallen angel, fallen people, they're gonna be what's called the Lake Of Fire where the worm dieth not, the fires never quenched. Jesus spoke more about the eventual abode of the wicked than he did of heaven, warning people. So when we talk about the good news, sometimes we have to soften people up to recognize how good the good news is by being truthful with them and letting them know the alternative. If you reject, there's door number two. There's no door number three or four or five. There's no reincarnation. There's no annihilation. No, you're gonna live for all eternity but you determine now in this three score in ten years and 10 by reason of strength, you know. Pointing on to all men wants to die and then the judgment. The place that you spend eternity is based upon what you choose, who you choose. If you choose Jesus, then you get to spend all eternity in the place that he's gone to prepare for you. If you reject Jesus, in John three, you're condemned already because you don't believe in him. So people shouldn't be mad at God because there's a place called hell. He needed the place, first of all, to put the fallen angels that rebelled against him who are holy angels. One third of the stars fell with Lucifer, so hell was prepared for the devil and the fallen angels. And in order for heaven to be heaven, it has to be based upon love and love is based upon free will, free moral agency. You made the image of God, you have the choice. So people know God doesn't send any human beings to hell. Human beings go to hell because they choose hell over repenting of their sins and surrendering unto Jesus. So like we talked about yesterday, every knee is gonna bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. And so and so here we say, for God spared not the angels that sinned but cast them down to hell and delivered them into chains of darkness to be reserved under judgment. So some would hold right here that this is it. It stops right here. Everything that happened before the before the flood, this is it. It ends. Now let me read a verse for you. Let's see here. There are giants in the earth in those days and also after that. Verse four. Some say no, there can't be giants and that we're giants there. They're saying that were giants is a is a is a inappropriate word, a wrong word. It's a word from the Septuagint. It's a word shoulda had Nephilim, fallen ones there, And they'll use the word giants from the Septuagint, from the Greek. And then also in Greek mythology, and if you're look using the Latin to describe what's happened, you would call these the titans. And you so you'd see in Greek mythology, you know, these giants commingled as gods and Hercules and different names in Greek mythology and all. Now when it says and also after that, we're gonna look at some verses where after the flood, there were still giants in the land. Remember David and Goliath? Remember the King Og in Deuteronomy three? He had a bed, I mean a California king bed that was 13 and a half feet long. The guy was a giant, and I, you know, eight eight wide. When Kathy and I go traveling, we each get a king a queen bed. And, man, sleep so good. Oh, man. To have a big bed, you know. Alright. So anyway, king Og there and Joshua and the boys had to a Bashan had to wipe him out. And then in Genesis 14, you have Chedolamer, and we we can look at that. You have the Lubim. You have the Rephaim. You have the Anachem. You have the Nephilim. So different names for fallen ones, fallen angels. Do you get that? We'll go over it again. Alright. So back here in in second Peter, deliver them to chains of darkness to be reserved under judgment and spared not the old world but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness bringing in the flood upon the word of the ungodly. And so some of them say here, as I said back in verse four, that that's it. The Lord dealt with it. He dealt with all of them, and there there are no other angels, you know, giants after that. The problem with that is archaeologically, we have and historically, we have accounts, not just archaeologically of the flood of dead giants and dead dinosaurs and all that, but we also have accounts in our even even in The United States Of Indians describing the, you know, the red haired ones. In Afghanistan, these red haired giants and some of those caves and all. So we have accounts still of giants out there, and and typically, these giants and dragons, you know, the same thing with dragons and dinosaurs, some of them survived. One of the guys we had at the Roxy that gave a thing on doctor Thomas Kendall said in The Congo, they still have evidence of the pterodactyl that survived the flood but still lives in the jungles of The Congo. So interesting. Kinda I saw it on Jurassic Park. It's real. It's real. And and and alright. So I don't agree with that. I don't agree that Tartarus held them all and and that was it, you know. They're held in chains. I do believe that these fallen angels that were involved in all that, they are being held. But, somehow, there's some of them that are learn that trick with the devil, and the devil throughout history has tried to pollute the gene pool. It wasn't just one instance there. The devil has tried to stop the the gene line for the Messiah like we talked about with Moses where the pharaoh wanted to eradicate all the Jews that were there in, you know, in Egypt. That was an attempt by the devil to make it so that Messiah couldn't come through the nation of Israel as Jews. We also see that afterwards that when Joshua Moses and Joshua were leaving Egypt that they were met by king Agabashan who was a giant, and they were also they didn't do a very good job in the area of the Golan and Gaza area, and they were supposed to eradicate all these nations. God God let them know that get rid of all the Anakin, get rid of all of them. And, they did a pretty good job, but they didn't they left one section there, and we'll look at that, that, they didn't eradicate them all. So later, it came back to bite the children of Israel in that Goliath, his four brothers, David picked up five smooth stones, and and so and afterwards. So I don't know if the basketball teams, if those guys are giants. I don't know. You ever seen the six finger guy? Six fingers, six toes. That's one of that's one of the monikers, one of the characteristics of the Giants. They they have six fingers, and that's why that's why they wanna see your hand. Show me your hand. You know, show me your hands. And so alright. That the sons of God saw verse two, the daughters men that they were fair and they they took them wives of all whom they chose. And so we we see that and the Lord said my spirit shall not always strive with man for that he also is flesh yet his day shall be a hundred and twenty years. So God's saying this is this is not why I designed you, this is not what I intended, This is a perversion and and and I'm I'm not I'm not gonna allow this to continue. I'm gonna judge this and but I'm gonna give you a hundred and twenty years to repent. I'm gonna give you a hundred and twenty years as God always gives space for repentance as he's gonna commission Noah to build the ark, and it's gonna take Noah a hundred and twenty years to build the ark. The average age was nine twelve, and and 120 presently is a is a a big age for anybody living today to live to be at a 120. So after this, Moses and and others lived beyond the 120, and Noah, I think, lived to 374 after the flood. But the age began to greatly diminish thereafter, and some would some would say as a result of the flood, we'll we'll look at that next week, how it changed the radiology. The the Kevin explained it to me is the carbon buildup in your body, and it wasn't a vapor canopy that protected these guys. It's more of when the breaking up of the crust of the earth, the granite and the the lightning, the thunder, the electricity, more of a radiological, not radiation, but different word, and and that it affected the human beings, but God God we'll look at that next week, how the earth changed after the flood and man lifespan decreased. But here he's saying, yeah, this day shall be a hundred and twenty years. So those that are here, you're not gonna live 09/12, you got a hundred and twenty years to choose to receive Christ. We're gonna see that Noah is a preacher of righteousness. Peter reminds us of that, And, we also have Enoch. Enoch being a preacher of righteousness before he leaves. Yeah. So they're not, without excuse. They they have been made known. They're told to get into the ark, get into Christ. Jesus is the door. At a certain point, the door is gonna be shut and the animals are smart enough to get in but the people didn't. But God's gracious and merciful, he's saying, alright, it's time to judge and turn to and so there were giants in the earth in those days, and as I said, that's a that's a a translation in the King James from the Septuagint in Alexandria, Egypt, the scholars made the Bible from Hebrew to Greek translation and this is the word that they use. It's and so they they made it giants and we would in the Hebrew it would be Nephilim, which means fallen ones, and then there's also the Rephilim, and there's the Anachem. And so we're gonna look at some verses in this regard to see that even afterwards there were giants still, you know, in the land. So Deuteronomy three thirteen. Let's go there. Deuteronomy three thirteen. This odd guy, king Abashan, and when we get to chapter ten eleven of Genesis, Nimrod, many feel was also a giant in rebellion against God. And Deuteronomy, What did I say? Three thirteen. We got Og. Og. And this land should be possessed at the time from and have Mount Gilead and the cities I gave unto the Reubenites and the Gershite. Am I in the right place? Three thirteen. Your army three thirteen is what you told us. Yeah. I don't I don't think I'm in the right place. Ogg. Ogg. I can't read my writing. Let's see here. Three verse 11, James? Yeah. That's it. 11. I gotta change that in my bible. You guys can wait. Alright. Thank you, James. Alright. For only Og, king Abashan remained of the remnant of giants. So this is after the flood. We got giants again. His bedstead was a bedstead of iron. So remember metallurgy, they're working these are these are intelligent people. They're working with iron. Now the Philistines didn't want the Israelites to have iron. You've got iron chariots and all. You'd be you'd be more prolific militarily if you had the ability to make swords and chariots and things with iron. So is it not in Rabbah of the children of Ammon, nine cubits was the length, so a cubit being 18 inches, it's the elbow to the to the wrist and so he's got a bed of 13 and a half feet and six feet wide, four cubits breath of it and the cubit of a man. So this is where they came up with the California king bed right there. That's a that's it. That's a big bed. And then we've got let's see. We've got numbers thirteen thirty three and Joshua chapter 13, and then we've also got to second Samuel twenty one fifteen. We have Isaiah twenty six fourteen, Genesis 14 verse five, and we're gonna be hunting down instances of giants. The Rephaim is a name for them, the Nephilim, the Anakin, and we also have in Genesis 14 let me read it for you real quick because it's just a it's just a surface. It's not that in-depth. Verse five, and in the fourteenth year came Chudolomer, the king that were with him and smote the Rephaim. So Abe's gonna go out with 318 men and he's gonna rescue Lot and the king of Sodom. So there's a battle here in the tar pits and stuff. So in the fourteenth year came Cheddalamor and the kings that were with him, they smote the Rephaim and Ashtaroth, these are giants, The Carnaim and the Zuzim, these are all giants, in Ham, and the Imam and Shavakirathim, and they're, you know, with Abraham's help, God's help helping Abraham, they're gonna win. They're gonna wipe out these giants. In Numbers 13 also. And so where do we go from here? We went to Numbers. Numbers 13 and Joshua 13. I love this one because Caleb and Joshua, they they've been waiting forty years for the unbelieving report to be done away with. When they first went in, the 12 spies went in to spy out the land. The 10 unbelieving came back with an unbelieving report and said, hey, we're like grasshoppers, big huge walled cities and the people there are giants. And Caleb and Joshua, they wanted to go in right now and seize the land. But because of the unbelievable report of the 10 unbelieving spies, the hearts of the people were permeated, and they had to wait. And I just love Caleb. I love his his his attitude. I just love I kinda wanna be like him. So What did I say? I said Numbers? 13. Numbers 13. Okay. Are you there? Somebody can read it. 33. There she is. Go ahead. Vicky can read it. Thirteen thirty three. And there it was. And they saw giants and the sons of Anak who came of the giants and were in our own sight as grasshoppers and so we were in their sight. And then you go to Numbers In Joshua. In Joshua, but also in chapter 14 here. Yeah, we'll go to Joshua. Joshua 14. Joshua 14 down to verse six, then the children of Judah came unto Joshua and Gilgal and Caleb and the son of Jephunah the Kenazite and said unto him, thou knowest the thing that the Lord said unto unto Moses, the man of God concerning me and thee in Kadesh Barnea. 40 years old was I when Moses, the servant of the Lord sent me from Cadesh Barnea to spy out the land and I brought him word again and it was in the that was in my heart. Never nevertheless, my brethren who went up with me made the heart of the people to melt but I wholly followed the Lord my God. Moses swore on that day saying surely the land where on thy feet have trodden shall be thine inheritance and the children forever because thou has wholly followed the Lord my God. And now behold, the Lord has kept me alive as he said, these forty and five years. So he's 85 years old. Watch what he says, even since the Lord spake this word unto Moses while the children of Israel wandered in the wilderness and now low, I am I am this day fourscore and five years old. He's 85 years old. It's his birthday. Look at the attitude of this guy. There's no way he's gonna run around on a scooter, this guy. There's just no way. And as yet, I am as strong this day as I was in the day that Moses sent me as my strength and as as then even so is my strength now for war both to go out and to come in. Now therefore, give me this mountain. He wants to take the mountain in Hebron and this is where David's gonna have his kingdom, the headquarters of his kingdom for the first seven years. And this is the area that Abraham buried his beloved Sarah in the cave at Macphilah and all, so Hebron's a special place And notice he says, now therefore give me this mountain of which the Lord spake in the day for thou heard in that day how the Anakim were there, so these are giants, and that the cities there great and fortified. If it be, if so be the Lord will be with me and that's what we want. We want to know, Lord, here am I, use me. Now is the Lord with me or I am I with the Lord, you know? If God before us, who can be against us? And these promises never gonna leave us nor forsake us. Caleb has this confidence since God before us, who can be against us? He know that God's for him. So if it be so, the Lord will be with me, then I shall be able to drive them out as the Lord said. So this this was supposed to have been done earlier, but they didn't get it done. And Joshua blessed him and gave him Caleb the son of Jephunah Hebron for an inheritance. Hebron therefore became the inheritance Caleb the son of Jephunah the Kenazite unto this day because he wholly followed the lord god of Israel and the name Hebron before kith Arba, which Arba was a great man among the Anakim and the land had rest for more. And so before and after, we've got them. And verse 14 of chapter 15, and Caleb drove out from there the three sons of Anak, Shii, Ahiaman, and Talmai, the children of Anak, the giants. He drove them out, 85 years old, and he went up from there to the inhabitants of Debir, the name of Debir which is Kirath Eber, and Caleb said, he that smites Kirath Eber and takes it will I give Aksa my daughter in marriage. So so anyway, Caleb is not done yet. He's he's wanting to serve the Lord in that way and so giant still. So when we come back to this verse here and it says, there were giants in the earth in those days and also after that when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men and they bore children to them, the same became mighty men who are of old, men of renown. So now prophetically speaking, if we're reading in Matthew 24 and Luke 17, Jesus saying as it was in the days of Noah, as it was in the days of Lot, as it was in Sodom and Gomorrah, so shall it be the coming of the son of man. Now they were eating and drinking, they were given marriage and all that, so things continue as they always were and then boom, Sodom and Gomorrah, there's there's hail coming down, you know, fire and brimstone. So that's one aspect of it. Life is normal, But another aspect of it, the the commentators try to bring in is what were the characteristics of the world at the time of Noah? Every man did that which was evil, you know, in his heart. The thoughts and intents of man's heart were only evil continually. Well, we're reaching that day. We can see that the every man doing that to right in his own eyes, the existentialism and the lack of people being able to follow God's word with absolute truth. We see we were talking about this before the bible study with a mother that can kill three of her children. The culture isn't able to discern between good and evil anymore. Based upon feelings, this woman's able to go on GoFundMe and get $3,000,000. She's rewarded for murdering three children. That's insanity. If we were more of a biblical society, a society like in the fifties where where we were taught the Bible and we were taught we were praying in school whether you're a believer or not a believer, That's the way our public schools were. That's where our society was. Very few divorces back then. Adultery was still wrong. And now today, a mother murdering three kids because she's got Postpartum. Postpartum depression. She's on her period. No. Postpartum. I got some good beyond the period jokes. My god. Oh. Alright. I have two daughters. Yeah. I know. Know. I know. What's the difference between a terrorist and a woman on her period? You can negotiate with terrorists. Alright. What's the difference between a woman on PMS and a pit bull? You can put a pit bull on a leash. Alright. Alright. So we get the drift. We understand. We understand it can be brutal for the ladies, but it's still murder. Alright? Still murder. And I got a third one. I won't say it. Alright. Okay. See see how angry the women get when they hear that? And I've talked to Kathy about ladies going through menopause and I guess it's pretty brutal. It's really brutal going through menopause. But Kathy says, if you rely upon the Holy Spirit and you trust in the Lord, all those hot flashes and all that stuff and everything or hormonal stuff and maybe you need some hormonal adjustments or whatever, but her thought is is that you're still responsible for God for your actions, you know, yelling, screaming, going crazy, you can't blame, you know, but culture is doing that. And with the help of the Holy Spirit, we can we can get through it. So anyway, the the giants, the advent of the giants, the the genetic altering and the changes that they're wanting to make even still today. So there are giants in the earth in those days and after that when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of the men. Now it came in unto. Is there any other way to explain that? What what what are they saying? They're saying the sons of Seth, you know, came no. These are giants. These are the Nephilim, the fallen ones, came in onto the daughters of men. So there's procreation going on here and they bore children to them, that's pretty clear, that whom they became mighty men who were of old men of renown. So we saw that. And God saw the wickedness of man was great in the earth and that every imagination of the thought of his heart was only evil continually. And so God took and put these these fallen ones, these Nephilim in second Peter two four to Tartarus and it repented the Lord. So the Lord is grieved. He's he's saddened, breaking his heart, what's happening so quickly to humanity. He had such a higher purpose, such a higher intent. And and at the end of the age, iniquity is gonna abound, the love of many is gonna grow cold, the man's enemies will be those of his own household. We're already watching society break apart and become very violent and sexually perverted and degradation that's taking place is much like at this time and it grieves God. It grieves in his heart because that's not how that's not the plane that God wanted man to live upon. Man was supposed to live on a much higher plane, the life of the spirit and in fellowship with God, and and so it's a very demonic time in which we're living, a return to human beings giving into the flesh, giving into the world, and giving into the occult, the demonic activity. In the time of Christ, think of how many people he encountered that were demon possessed, you know, and he's casting the demons out of him. In our culture, we don't identify demon possessed people necessarily. We have psychotropic drugs and names for this sort of thing, but demon possession and demonic activity is increasing. The occult's increasing, and it's gonna take Jesus Christ coming back and destroying the earth, stopping the devil, stopping the fallen angels, and to set up his kingdom, and and so he's gonna put it down. So it repented the Lord that he'd made man on the earth and it grieved him in his heart. So God intention was to make us for fellowship and Enoch walked with God and was not and Noah walked with God. Noah was an upright man, but the majority of the people are just in rebellion to God and being influenced by demons. And that's the that's the importance of the church is we're to be salt and light, we're to restrain evil, we're to slow down the corruption, the putrification that's taking place in the world. God's given these guys a hundred and twenty days or a hundred and twenty years to choose Christ, to get in the boat, to get on board. So he's he's not real quick. He's long suffering, not willing that any would perish, that all would come to repentance, But Jesus said, you're the salt of the earth. Salt was used to put upon the meat to keep the meat from corrupting. You salt the meat, and a light exposes darkness. And so when the church fails to expose darkness, calling out the darkness, Ephesians five eleven, have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose it. And all you gotta do is shine the light of God's word on it, and the cockroaches flee. They don't like to be exposed. They don't like whistleblowers. They don't like people that prove that they're liars. They hate it. And we've been duped into thinking that we can vote for a man and that he's gonna fix it all. But we in the church have a job to do and that is to vet these guys, to prove it, to show it, to you know, Jesus said, you'll know them by their fruit, not by their slogans or their phrases, you know. And and then also the lives that we live, we can't impose upon the culture a higher standard than we're living. And so what's the standard? The standard is be holy, be perfect, be Christ like, and we need the help of the holy spirit to live that way. So if we love the Lord, then we're not gonna be liars, we're not gonna be murderers, we're not gonna be condoning. If we condone the killing of three children, then we're a murderer. You know, we're just as guilty. And in Ezekiel three and Ezekiel 33, if we don't warn, if we see this behavior, a man go into into a through a window into a house and we don't we don't stop that or say anything about it, pastors that don't warn, then that God's gonna hold them accountable. The blood is upon them. They're gonna be held accountable. And so being a whistleblower, being a person that shines light and and the light is is not a light that we possess, it's that we reflect from Jesus. So as we're walking in the light of season light, we have fellowship with God and if we say we know God and do not the things he says, you know, we don't keep his commands, we're a liar and the truth isn't in us. So we want to be able to walk with God as Enoch, walk with God as Noah, that's God's intention for making Adam and Eve. They'd walk with God in the cold day and it speaks of fellowship. And and when we're in fellowship with the Lord, we're empowered. How powerful are we as Christians? How powerful are the churches in America to stave off the corruption, to stop the culture from corrupting? I'm watching a whole lot of big name guys worried about Islam. I am not worried about Islam one iota. Why is that? Because greater is he that's in me than he that's in the world. I've got a much greater message, a much better message than any Islamic guy, you know. I got a much better message than any occult guy. All I need to do is do my job as a Christian in Texas and wherever I live, and the church needs to be a fire, church needs to be a flame. Why aren't the Islamic people in Iran going into the synagogues there anymore? The or the the whatever is they build. The what do they call? Mosque. Mosque. Because they're coming to Christ. It's the fastest growing church in the world. Right? So you got a whole lot of empty mosque so to in Great Britain and Europe, you have empty churches because it's a post Christian era. So what's going to fill that void, that vacuum when the church apostasizes evil? You're gonna be flooded with 45,000,000 Muslims who are going to implement Sharia Lagan, implement their culture. So the key issue is be Christians. Do your job. Do what you're supposed to do. Share the gospel and and and live it. Live it. You know? Don't don't compromise with the world. Don't make your churches like the world. Don't be putting LBGTQ pastors and pastorettes in the pulpit and call that Christianity and teach the word of God. Educate the people. Educate the children. Give the children a chance to know right from wrong, left hand from right hand instead of, you know what? I don't feel like doing that. Well, too bad how you feel. It's God's word. So the law was given for the lawless, and we are given the Holy Spirit. And I'd much rather be a small church with a group of people that are all in for Jesus than a big church where people just what's Jesus get? He he just gets the leftovers, you know. I I wanna I wanna go all the way and and, you know, I like going to the beach, I like doing things, but I don't wanna be a worldly Christian. I don't wanna be a lukewarm Christian. I want my life to bear fruit, and and I wanna finish. Someone laughed at me yesterday when I said that that I was watching Lonesome Dove on on our vacation, and I like the part where and Kathy Kathy didn't understand me, but Gus was sick. Gus you got Gus and Woodrow, Tommy Lee Jones, Robert Duvall. Robert Duvall got shot by some Indians. He lost his leg and he's laying there in bed and the the doctor wants to take off the second leg and he you take off that second leg, I'll kill you. So he's waiting for Woodrow to get there and and he finally got there, and he's sweating. He's poisoning him, and he wrote a couple letters and made Woodrow am I saying it right? Tommy Lee Jones promise to bury him at this little little place. So he did all that and then he went to sleep. I mean, shut his eyes, and then these guys have been together a lot of years. And he put his hand on his forehead, and he's just kinda thinking about all the things they've been through. And and he opens up his eyes, Robert Duvall, and says something like, what a ride. You know, what a what a I forget the exact words, but, you know, what what an adventure. What an adventure we've had. And that's what I said to Kathy. I said, you know, Kathy, that's how I like in our marriage. It's a step of faith. It's been an adventure. You know? It's been an exciting walk of faith with God. We don't know what's up ahead, but, I mean, we jumped in at 21 years old. And by the time it's finished, we're gonna be able to look back on our life where there should be that wonderment like, wow. Look at all the fights we were in. Look at all the good things that happened, the bad things, the heartache, the devil coming against us, and all the different things. And that's the walk of faith. We're walking with God, and our life shouldn't be boring. Our life should be, you know, giant killers. We should be giant killers. We should be like Caleb. We should be like Woodrow and and Gus, you know. They're they're out there, Texas Rangers, and man, it it makes them mad when somebody does something wrong, you know, that's that's their function is to stand for righteousness. Alright. So I hope you're having fun as a Christian walking with the Lord, and and you look back on your life, man, what a walk of faith. What an incredible walk of faith, the things that God privileged me to do. And so it repented God, but the intention is that God would that we would have fellowship with God and that it would be exciting. Jesus said, I've come that you might have life, that you might have it more abundantly, the life of the spirit. And the thief comes not but to steal, to kill, to destroy. I'm thankful that I'm not gonna die an alcoholic. I'm thankful that I'm not gonna that I'm still alive, that I didn't die from drug use. I'm thankful that Jesus is the glue that holds my marriage together. I'm thankful I get to be a husband, a father, a grandfather, and none of that would have been possible had I not responded to God's offer to let me walk with him. And and that's that's the greatest privilege of all is to walk with the Lord and now he's saying, it repented me that I made you. It breaks my heart, I'm grieved. You're you're not living up to the purpose I had for you, to know me, to fellowship with me, to walk with me. And so repent of the Lord that he had made man on the earth and it grieved him in his heart and the Lord said I will destroy man whom I have created from the race of the place of the earth, both man and beast and creeping thing, what did they do wrong? And and the fowls of the air, do you think they did some genetic altering with the animals? For repenteth me that I made that I made them. And so the depravity, the the decadence decadence of the time, and lost because of sin. Psalm fourteen one through three. Then we gotta finish up and I'll show you. The fool has said in his heart, there is no God. They're corrupt. They have done abominable works. There's none that doeth good. The Lord looked down from heaven upon the children of men to see if there were any that did understand and seek God. They are all gone aside. They are all together become filthy. There's none that doeth good, no, not one. And then the next verse, but Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord. Right? But Noah. You look at the but gods, the but Noah, but Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord. It's not always it's not always over so bleak, you know. Where sin abound, grace does much more abound and God's grace is sufficient and he's always got a remnant. He's always got a straight and narrow path that that a few walk down. Broad is the way that leads to destruction many go in there at, and so so there you go. In in second Samuel 24, the Lord had an angel that was gonna destroy them all. And the Lord also in Exodus 32, it repented me that I made them. Moses, I'll make a people out of you. And Moses began to intercede and and God repented of the evil that he was gonna do to the, you know, the children of Israel. And same thing when the angel of the Lord was discipline the children of Israel because David numbered the people, 70,000 of them were wiped out, but the angel was ready to wipe them all out, you know, and God held back. And so in his wrath, Lord, in your wrath, remember mercy, you know, remember your mercy when you do that. And what else here? There's the the I wanted to look at second Samuel where David was with the which we don't need to. It's fine. But in the area of Gaza where the Philistines are, and it wasn't cleaned out, so that was the eventuality of Goliath and his four brothers, these giants that were still tormenting the nation of Israel. But God set the stage for David to deal with them and he picked up five stones, you know. And then some of David's mighty men, there were times where one of them went down into a pit, icy time with a spear and killed a six finger giant. Six finger, six toes, you know, giant. You guys remember that occasion? Anyway, I'll give you some things to look at. You look at the chronicles of David's mighty men, the exploits of who they killed, of who they overcame, and they were giant killers just as Caleb and Joshua. And alright. So let's we'll we'll do Noah next week from verse eight. We'll pick it up there, and we're gonna partake in communion now. We're gonna pass out the bread and the cup and partake in communion. I'd also if if we have the time here, we you feeling good? James and Sean? It's only 07:54, but Rob's gonna lead us in the song while they're passing it out. So we can The night in which Jesus was betrayed, he took the bread and he broke it and he said, take eat. This is my body broken for you. This do in remembrance of me. And so back in chapter six here, we see that a repented god that he made man, that the thought and intents of man's heart was only evil continually, And God was grieved in his heart because his intention of making man was for fellowship. And now because of the ark and now because of the cross, Jesus dying in our place, we have fellowship restored. In that fellowship restored, Jesus said, take eat. This is my body. This do in remembrance me, so we're partaking. We're coming into union. It speaks of fellowship once again because of available unto us because of the cross. So father, thank you once again. Thank you for the sweetness that we don't need to walk on our own path or walk our own way, but Lord, we can walk in fellowship with you as you lead and guide us, Lord. We thank you for the cross of Calvary. We thank you for your love expressed in that manner. We thank you for your dear son, his body being broken. We thank you as we assimilate his life, the bread of life in each of ours. Lord, we're bound together as one. You don't want us, Lord, to be isolated, to to be away, to be separate from you for all eternity. Your desire is that we walk in sweet intimate fellowship with you for all eternity. In Jesus name we pray. Amen. Shall we partake? And Jesus took the cup and he said, this cup is a new testament in my blood for the remission of sins as often as you eat this bread and do drink this cup, you do show the Lord's death till he come. And so the sickness that we experience the is a consequence of our sins, consequence of the fall of man. And Jesus came to bring healing. Salvation means deliverance and healing. And so by his stripes, we're healed in the sense of the atonement, the atonement we're made right with him and we have sweet intimate fellowship. We have access, but also there is going to be a day where we're gonna be in our new glorified bodies and there's gonna be no more sickness, no more sorrow, no more pain, no more death, and that's the hope that we have. And in the interim here, we pray for Selena, We pray for John with cancer. We pray for Kelly, her her predicament. We pray for Shannon Goodson, her iron levels. We pray for Kathy's back and Courtney's back and Sean's knee and and just everybody else. We Shannon's head. She's having it. Bad head? Hey. Shannon's head. Haven't any pain for, like, three weeks. Oh, okay. Alright. And father, we just lift up each and every person who has battles going on, fights going on, physical infirmity, mental, spiritual. Some of us, we have kids that don't wanna talk to us anymore. But Lord, we just lift up Alan. We pray for his arm, Lord. We thank you for Alan and Cora, their courage, all that they've gone through. And, Lord, we lift up Selena. It just really grips my heart. I could just see little Ruthie. I could see Toby. I could see little ones, with with that sort of a condition, and it just breaks my heart, Lord. So, God, I pray that you'd heal this little granddaughter, Heidi Ringer Lloyd, and just heal her, Lord, and continue to heal Kelly, continue to heal Shannon and the other Shannon, and just help us, Lord, as as we walk in our brokenness, Lord. We pray that you be our strength, that our sufficiency is of Christ. And, Lord, these bodies, they're they're wearing out, but we thank you the hope that we has that we do show your death till you come. Lord, you're coming and our bodies may transform and change. This corruption must put on incorruption. This mortal must put on immortality, and death is gonna be swallowed up, Lord. And so we thank you, Lord, for the hope that is ours, that you're coming soon for us your bride. And we thank you for the finished work that you did upon the cross, so great a price of redemption, your love for us. And Lord, pray evermore that we not succumb to the temptation and the allurement of the technology of the age in which we live in, the witchcraft, the seduction, being seduced with the pharmakia, and as we see in the book of Revelation, there were many that were seduced and the the powerful influence of the AI technology, a counterfeit working in the lives of people as you purpose the Holy Spirit to work in us Lord, the comforter. So we pray that we would use technology for the good but not Lord succumb to the very seductive aspects of it Lord, the sorcery aspect of it And that we'd have no idols before you, that Lord we trust the Lord with all of our heart, all of our mind, of our soul, all of our strength, and and that we not succumb to the times in which we're living as people are being drawn away from you Lord, apostasy, falling away from the truth and beginning to depend and rely upon the falsehoods of the world and time which we live the occult. So help us, Lord, we pray. In Jesus' name, amen.
