Live from Bremerton. It's Monday night. Welcome. We are in Genesis chapter four tonight. Gonna study probably up to verse 15. We'll see what happens. And we had a wonderful picnic yesterday. Thank you all for helping the baptism. And had a huge, huge praise report with Carl Hendrix showing up at church after having his heart attack last month. Him and Sue, and so really exciting to see him improving. And Kelly is still battling. She's gonna get better, though. Carol Mary Jackson Waller, she's had back surgery, and she's recovering. And who else? Anybody else that we on the Thomas Poole has a missing hand puppet Oh, no. Named Poncho. Poncho. Right. Poncho. And he thinks he left it at Silverdale. He ministers the children with a hand puppet. Rob went out the house here if anybody wants to use his money. And so we're gonna pray that the Lord will provide that. And at least he didn't lose his guitar this time. Okay. Alright. Right? Father, we come before you, and we thank you for this Monday night. We ask that you pour out your holy spirit upon us, and thank you for the privilege of meeting here and the beautiful weather and the food and the picnic that went well and the baptism and all the nice families that we got to drop closer to, the fellowship, getting to know each other better, and Brooke even showing up. Thank you for that. And we continue to lift up Kelly for her recovery and Karen and Carl and any others, Lord. We just pray that your hand be upon them. And George's friend who had a heart attack, and we lift up Greg Mitchell that you help him overcome his back problems and just continue to pour out your holy spirit upon us. Help us to fulfill the reason you called us, Lord, that we might glorify you. Be with the Dinsmore's, Lord, as they battle with car trouble in Idaho and help them to get home safe and be refreshed and all, and just continue to bless, Lord, in Jesus' name. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Now they want me to sing. Alright. Let's see. Genesis chapter four. Now, Rob and Vicky and Jim and Marlene and the Dinsmores are going on vacation. So next Monday, next two Mondays, we won't be meeting, and, there'll be a time of refreshing for him and a lot of others taking vacations and stuff. So that's just how it is during the summer. And, so, anyway, next Monday and the Monday after, we won't be here. Alright. Genesis chapter four beginning with verse one. Father, we thank you for the sweet time that we could fellowship, get to know each other yesterday and today and the potluck and all the food, the great food and fellowship and baptism and watching the kids and races and just so peaceful, such a blessing, so uplifting, miracles interspersed. And we just thank you for all the servants, all the folks that you raised up, everybody helping, everybody pitching in, just so sweet, Lord, the body of Christ, watching the body of Christ be the body of Christ. And now as we turn to Genesis chapter four, we pray that you'd be our teacher, that you'd open the scriptures to our understanding, that Lord, we'd be edified, built up, strengthened tonight, and be able to give an answer to others, Lord, who are looking for hope, that we can give an answer to them, hope that lies within us, Lord, with meekness and with fear, and that we're studying to show ourselves approved unto God, workmen that need not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. In Jesus name, amen. Amen. All right, so the reason this is so important is like the apostasy, the falling away from the truth is increasing. Bernie was telling me about it, Rob was telling me about it tonight. I saw a couple of guys talk about the remnant church and about 2% of churches teach prophecy today. And they're saying it's even getting smaller, the amount of people that are teaching doctrine. So Rob's running into stuff like, you know, flat earth and don't mess with him about flat earth, but also women pastors. Apparently it's becoming more and more intense and aggressive. The whole idea of women, you know, pastoring churches and preaching and teaching. It's important that we're students of God's word, rightly dividing the word of truth. It's a real easy thing like we've illustrated last week, the husband of one wife. First Timothy and Titus, it's pretty clear it's male. But anyway, whole different argument, but you and I went down that road and we're able to help people understand not that women aren't to teach, not that they can't teach, not that they're even most likely even better teachers, especially if they have my new best friend, Google AI, to help them. Because it's but in a time of apostasy where the men won't step up and teach, then by all means be a Deborah. Get up there and teach God's Word. Get it out there. Women evangelists. We have Philip with the evangelist, he had four virgin daughters who were prophetesses speaking forth the word of God, and that's a wonderful blessing. I have two daughters and if they want to share the scriptures with people from an evangelistic standpoint or prophecy or whatever, praise the Lord, be a fool not to receive from somebody that knows the scripture. Alright. So there you go. So verse one, and Adam knew Eve, his wife, and she conceived and bore Cain and said, I've gotten a man from the Lord. And so Adam and Eve have their first child. This is the first child with a belly button. And Eve is going through the whole process of Genesis three sixteen, the curse and the pain of childbearing, the sorrow and the whole thing. And she's a student of the Bible because the name that she gives him is the very name that the Lord had prophesied of in Genesis three fifteen. So in the Hebrew, she's theologically, she's correct that this is the God man. You know, this man has come from God. But she's not applying it properly and it's the wrong timing. So in her mind, she's thinking that, all right, this is the one that the Lord promised that I was going to have. But, so she names him Cain, which means gotten of God. And there's little play on words there in the Hebrew kinda alluding to, you know, I got this from God, that this is the child that God prophesied of. But again, she's not applying it correctly. And so, I've gotten a man from the Lord. So this is the first birth, the first belly button, gotten of God, and she again bore, so her second one, now the question comes back from AI from others. You can ask this to AI. Well, not yet. We'll do that in a minute. So Shegenboer his brother Abel, and Abel was a keeper of sheep, but Cain was a tiller of the ground. And so Abel, his name means vanity, or we would use breath for the name Abel. And they have two different callings. Abel was a keeper of the sheep, so a shepherd. And then it's a really neat study to do a study in the Bible of all the different shepherds in the Bible, including our Lord. And Cain was a tiller of the ground, so he's a farmer, a rancher, and nothing wrong with that, a great calling. And, let's see here. And in the process of time, so this is a distinct time. There's some time that's gone by, but a specific day, a specific time. So it lends itself toward Adam and Eve along with Cain and Abel were taught by God concerning a blood sacrifice, concerning this day, concerning how to offer a sacrifice, which again would tie in to Genesis three fifteen, the proevangelium where the seed of the woman, the virgin born son of God that is healed would be bruised, but that he'd crush the serpent's head. And so, without the shedding of blood, there's no remission of sin. It's impossible that the blood of bulls and bullocks would take away sin. And so as John the Baptist said, Behold the Lamb of God, John one twenty nine, who takes away the sins of the world. And so the Lord has prepared them ahead of time to understand the sacrificial system. And when people would bring lambs to the priests in the time of Jesus, the money changers and the priesthood were very, very wicked. They were making a lot of money off of religion. So they would basically tell a person if they raised their own lamb to bring at Passover, that your lamb has a blemish. It needs to be unspotted, unblemished, you know, speaking forth of Jesus, the unspotted, unblemished lamb of God. And so they had their kosher lambs ready for people to purchase and all. And Mary and Joseph were too poor in the dedication of Jesus to offer a lamb, And so they offered, you know, little turtle doves and all. So the law had a provision in there for those that were poor and you offer a sacrifice for your firstborn. Now that Mosaic Law isn't here yet, but the principle, the teaching concerning a blood sacrifice that would be offered unto God as a means of atonement at onement until the point in time when telescoping future when the lamb of God, when the virgin born son of God, the babe of Bethlehem, when he would finally go to the cross. And so they're they're doing it by faith. When we read in Hebrews 11 verse four, Abel offered by faith. So right now we're getting the sides lined up for this eventuality. So in the process of time, it came to pass that Cain brought the fruit of the ground. So a specific time that he knew to bring maybe to an altar where the Shekinah glory of God was at entrance to the Garden Of Eden possibly, where the flaming swords were and all. And so there's a specific day, specific time when they were to make this offering under the Lord. And if they do it correctly, and they do it in faith, then God's going to impute righteousness unto them because they are professing that they believe in God's provision for sin on into the future when Jesus would go to the cross. Whereas you and I, righteousness is imputed to us, an accounting term, in the ledger, there's no record of wrong. It is finished, and tell us not paid in full. He paid for all the sins of the whole world, but especially for those who believe. So all those from Cain and Abel, Adam and Eve, forward were awaiting the crucifixion. So in Ephesians four, He that ascended first descended the lower parts of the earth. And what were there in the lower parts of the earth? A double compartment in Luke 16, where the rich man of Lazarus died. Jesus told the thief on the cross, this day you'll be with me in paradise. He died, Jesus died. He that ascended on Pentecost first descended in the lower part of the earth, Abraham's bosom. So Adam, Eve, Abraham, all the Old Testament patriarchs, Abel, were all there awaiting in a place of comfort, awaiting the fulfillment of the seed of the woman being crucified, buried, raised from the dead. And so that's the gospel message under the Old Testament believers. So the Old Testament believers, from the time of Adam forward, salvation is by grace through faith alone unto them, the same way that we believe. Nobody was able later, when the law was given with Moses, nobody was able to keep the law and have entry into heaven by being good and keeping the six thirteen precepts of the Old Testament law. Noah, salvation is righteousness imputed unto him and that he was a preacher of righteousness and he believed and he showed his obedience. He showed his faith through his obedience. So what's happening here is Abel is showing his faith through his obedience to provide a blood sacrifice as prescribed by God, picturing, telescoping to one day Jesus, the Lamb of God, who would take away the sins of the world. Now Cain is rebellious, Cain is prideful, and Cain is saying, You know what? And it could be that Cain has done this before, you know, over a course of time. We don't know how much time has elapsed, but they're adults by this time. And Cain finally says, You know what? My brother's raising sheep. God allows him to bring one of his lambs, but I'm tired of selling or trying to purchase one of his lambs, you know, or trade him for grain, trade him for organic vegetables. I'm going to offer what I create, you know, what I work for, because what I'm bringing forth is good. And so Cain is a religious effort, a religious effort to focus upon what he has done and God to receive. Whereas Abel, he's bringing the lamb in faith unto God. It has no bearing on how well he raised the lamb or any merit on his part. It's solely by grace, but again, an act of obedience. So in the process of time, it came to pass that Cain brought to the fruit of the ground an offering unto the Lord. Now later in the Mosaic Law, there's going to be grain offerings. There's going to be offerings that they can bring before the Lord, but it doesn't speak of the payment for sin, which is without the shedding of blood, there's no remission of sin. It's impossible that the blood of bulls and bullocks of lambs can take away sin. So Jesus is the lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world. And so real clear about salvation here, the emphasis upon salvation. Now picture yourself in Moses' Egypt and God causes the 10 plagues, and the last plague is the Passover. Now picture what is God picturing? What is God trying to teach those in the time of Moses about Jesus? And the shape on the door is in the shape of a cross, right? And so the angel of death passes over that house. If they by faith obey the Lord and put that blood, their firstborn won't die. If they're disobedient, then their firstborn in their house is gonna die. Now, year after year, God says, I want you guys to partake and participate in Passover. The time of Christ, think he participated in four different Passovers during this public ministry. And each and every time, you think the people got it, you think they, hey, there's the lamb of God. You know, John the Baptist said it twice, right? And recognizing. But to partake of the Passover and have all these lambs brought before the priests, and so many lambs, you know, if there's a million people in Jerusalem, so much so that the blood, as they would slice their neck, would come into the Brook Kidron and come down the Kidron Valley would be red, you know? And Jesus, when he's stepping over that little brook to get it in the Garden Of Gethsemane, you know, near the Mount Of Olives, that blood speaks of what's going happen to Him, you know. But were the people clueless? They're clueless, right? They didn't see the symbol. They didn't see Hosea twelve ten that the Lord speaks through the prophets, and He speaks through similitudes. He speaks through pictures, so typology. And Cain was directly disobedient, completely disobedient, trying to bring the religious works, the religious efforts of his own works, and by the works of the flesh shall no man be justified, right? And so he's operating in the flesh. Abel's operating in the spirit. And by faith. And in Abel, he also brought of the firstlings. So the firstling speaks of that which is best. So he understands to take the best of the flock. The one that's, you know, if you're not careful, we offer to God less than the best. Thomas has a saying, Bless with the best. Right? If we're not careful, we give to God the leftovers. Right? So if you're a farmer and you've got a flock and they have a value on each one of their heads, know, hey, this lamb, this goat, because goats are mixed in, is worth X amount. And I can take and sell, you know, three of these or four of them or five of them, and I can get $500 a head or whatever. Now there's one over here, the runt, and it's blind, only has three legs. Got in a real scruffle with a wolf, you know, or something. And I'm going give that one to God. I'm going to offer to God the blind lame one. How do you think God feels when you offer to Him the blind lame one? Right? So Abel understands that in order for this to be meaningful and appropriate in showing his love and appreciation to God for forgiving him of his sins and all, that God requires our best. And even to the point of loving him more than we love our spouses, more than we love our children, our grandchildren, our very lives. He doesn't like being second. He doesn't like getting the leftovers. And so Abel, he also brought her the firstlings of the flock. So he understands, all right, I'm going to give God the best little lamb I've got in here, you know. And I would pray about it ahead of time, Lord, which is the best one? Which one do you want, you know. And I've been told that you never want to, John Persily was saying that when you raise animals, you never want to make the mistake of naming them, you know. You get too attached. I'm a city boy, I've never raised anything like that. So he also brought of the firstlings of the flock and of the fat. And so, the best. He's bringing the best. When you take a nice big rib eye and it's got a lot of fat on it, or one time, Catherine, this lady in our church, she gave us a rack of lamb and I had a rotisserie feature in the barbecue. And I put it on there and I learned how, this was before AI, my best friend, but I learned. And you take this rope and you tie it on there and get it on that thing. Man, that puppy just kept going real slow and it was so much fat on there. It was like the best I've ever had and oh my gosh, rack of lamb. I haven't had it since. But that fat, kinda got a glimpse of it. And then when Kathy has me make her a rib eye, I kind of get a glimpse of it. Because the rib eye's got a lot of this fat in the corners of it, marbled with fat, also, and she'll tell me, I want you to cook that to where the fat is like burnt, A burnt offering, you know. And now when you do filet mignon, doesn't have any fat in it, don't cook it medium well, you know. So anyway, I can see where the juiciest, tastiest, best part of that lamb is with the fat. Now when the fat, when it starts burning, it's an incense. It comes up, the smell comes up before God, you know, as a sweet smelling savor. And I've had many burnt offerings when I walk away from the grill and they're like charcoal when I come back. You don't want to ruin money, don't want to waste money like that. For some reason, it's in my head as I'm cooking a steak that I want to go wash the dishes that I'm getting dirty. I'm kind of, I've hanging around Rob too much. I just want to, I want to wash them so quick rather than waiting to the end. And so I take my eye off the prize, off of the steak, and next thing I know when I go out there, there's this billowing smoke. Smoke! I think I'd done it once and I said, Honey, your steak's done. And Rick, you cooked it too much. Oh, I'm sorry. But this is serious here. I mean, later on in the Mosaic Law, the priests, those that serve with all of this butchering and cutting and offering and sweating and heat and around the barbecues and the big talons where they grab it with these hooks and all that, it's a lot of work and there's a lot of priests doing it. Now, when the work is finished, these guys get to take some meat home. That's part of how they live. The priest is able to eat from the offerings. So when they're going home, they get a certain portion from the lamb. There's a part of it that was offered, there's another part of it distributed among the priests, part of their payment, you know, so they're able to, you know, go home like that. So that's how we live. The workman's worthy of his hire and God provides in that way. And so I love barbecues. I just love them. They're good. I love the way everybody feeds me. Everybody takes care of Kathy and I, taking us out to restaurants after church and buying us a steak. It's sweet, it's just sweet. So the first things of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the Lord had respect unto Abel's and to his offering. So he's basically, I mean, the thing that you and I want to hear from our dads and those in authority over us, from our Heavenly Father especially, is, Hey, well done. I'm proud of you. I'm proud of you, Rick. When you hear that, he has respect unto your obedience. He wants you to know that, Hey, you did well. You followed instructions. You obeyed what you were taught. Mom and Dad were taught by God directly. Mom and dad taught Abel and Cain of this special day when we bring this offering to the Lord, right? And it's for fellowship. You know, Cain, in his curse that's coming upon him, he doesn't get to see God's face anymore. No more fellowship. And Adam and Eve already, they were able to walk in the garden in the cool of the day. Now they can only do it prescribed times, you know what I mean? They're expelled from the garden. Well, this is one of those times where God draws near in this time of fellowship. And so Cain doesn't get to have fellowship anymore as a result of killing his brother and not being obedient in this regard. And so, for Abel, a great demonstration. And this is the younger brother, and how come the older brother is so disobedient? Why is the younger brother the one that's obeying? Why did God say that Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated? They're twins. Why did he choose one over the other? Because he knew that Esau had no regard for the things of the spirit, no desire for the things of the spirit, that he was a man of the flesh, just like Cain, a man of the flesh. But Jacob, he'll catch her. He desired the birthright. He desired the blessing. Even though he's born as a twin, that when that leg came out, Esau's foot came out first, he got the red string put on it that this is the firstborn. Then he brings it back into the womb and now they're fighting, you know, they're fighting over it, you know, two nations fighting in that womb, you know. And Jacob, he's wanting to grab hold of that heel and pull Esau back into that womb. You're not getting out of here first, you know. So heel catch means supplanter. And so he began to try and connive because he did have a desire for the birthright and all, doing it in the flesh. And Esau, he didn't care one bit about it. He did want the birthright. He wanted the blessings. But he found no place for the birthright, Hebrews tells us, though he sought it with tears later when he realized, like Judas, that it didn't work out. He didn't get the blessing back even though he pursued it with tears. He found no place of repentance, though he sought it with tears, in Hebrews 12. And it was a done deal. And Jacob later, the Lord seeing, before they're even born, the Lord seeing two nations, Jacob have I loved, Esau have I hated, hated in the sense of rejecting him, rejecting his fleshly determination to do it his way. And Jacob wanted to know God. And so God sent Jacob away when Rebecca, who knew that Jacob was going to get the blessing, she tried to help God out like later or like earlier, Sarah tried to help God out with Hagar and so they concocted a plan, they deceived Isaac, but what happened, Jacob winds up going up to the brother in law's home and Laban, and Laban's a bigger conniver than Jacob ever thought of being. So Jacob got his reap what you sow and spent twenty years up there and came away with wives and concubines and kids. Then they're going to see Esau the next day and he's trying to get a good night's sleep so he crosses over the brook and Hosea tells us, describes the fight that came, WWW, and the Lord wrestled, God wrestled, pre incarnate Christ wrestled with Jacob and dislodged his hip. And very, very painful to have your hip dislodged. And Jacob won by losing God when he subdued Jacob there in his demands and his fighting with God, conniving and all, crippled him. And when Jacob tapped out, I'm not gonna let go of you till you bless me, God changed his name to Israel, governed of God, and he walked away from there, a changed man from within. And A. W. Tozer says that God, before God can use a man greatly, he must hurt him deeply. And so Jacob experienced that deep, deep hurt and brokenness, we would call it. He was broken before the Lord. He was transformed and changed. And he became, another word is governed by God. He began to yield to the governance of God in his life. And so we see here with Cain and Abel the similar kind of a situation where you have two boys and two different destinies, two different ways that they're gonna go. And so when we look over our children, we look over our grandchildren, you know, we pray that God give us an opportunity to sow in God's word, to sow in all that we can to minister to their heart, to minister to the very heart of who they are, that they might receive Christ at an early age and be governed by the Holy Spirit all their days long. We don't know till later on when they're making their own decisions of whether or not they truly have chosen Christ or not. But we hope and we pray that that they have, and we never stop praying for them no matter what. So how how tragic it is as it's leading up, we're gonna have the first murder, we're going have the first lie, and how tragic for Adam and Eve to see their beloved Abel killed by Cain and the blood going down into the earth and the blood crying out and the whole picture there, just how tragic for Adam and Eve and how you, as a parent, you think back to the Garden of Eden and the tree of knowledge and good and evil. This is knowledge God was trying to keep from you. He didn't want you to experience this kind of knowledge of evil and murder and lying and, you know, the whole thing. He wanted you to be maintained and continue in your innocence, you know, finitely perfect. But just the tragedy, the tragedy of it. Then the lack of remorse in Cain. Cain doesn't care one bit about Abel. He doesn't care one bit that he killed his brother, you know. Judas went out and wept bitterly. He didn't care one bit. The only reason he's out there crying and weeping is because his plan didn't work, you know. And that's what happens. So godly sorrow works toward repentance, not to be repented of. But worldly sorrow is just a sorrow of your plan didn't work. That you're sorry that you got caught. Sorry that you are rejected by God. So Cain brings the work of his hands, religious effort, and Abel also he brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. The Lord had respect unto Abel and to his offering. And you know, that's all you and I want. That's all you and I want to accomplish in this life, is to hear the Lord say, Well done, thou good and faithful servant. You've been faithful over a few things. I'm going to make you ruler over much. Enter into the joy of the Lord. This is preparatory. This is how God is preparing us of how we serve Him in the millennium. And it's all based upon faithfulness, not how big our following is, how big our flock is. It's based upon, you just be faithful with what I've given you to work with and be a man, a woman of faith, and I'm going to bless you, and I'm going to cause you to enter into eternity, into the millennium, in your new glorified body, And we're going to be kings and priests serving the Lord in his government, in his one thousand year rule and reign. And I'm there. I want to hear the Lord say, Well done, thou good and faithful servant. At the end of your life, as you're approaching that day, you want to make sure that, like with the Apostle Paul, that you know that you've run the race to receive the prize. That you didn't just run, you know, disregarding the rules, you stayed in the lane. You stayed in the lane that God gave you and followed his instructions and fulfilled what he called you to do. And that you didn't shadow box that what you were aiming at, you know, you hit, you fought a good fight, you finished your course, and you need that confidence. You need to know that you played according to the rules, you served according to the rules, that you weren't disqualified, and that God is going to reward your faithfulness. That's a great motivator. A great motivator that you're storing up treasure in heaven, that you're preparing ahead of time in your portfolio. As in your stewardship, your portfolio is you've sent it on ahead. And so some people want to look at the material, the physical realm as proof of their faithfulness and fruitfulness, but I'm much more concerned about deferring the rewards till later, sending on ahead. Jesus said, Store not up for yourselves treasure upon earth where moth and rust does corrupt, but thieves break through and steal, but store up for yourselves treasures in heaven where moth and rust can't corrupt and where thieves can't break through and steal. All right, so Abel, he valued the spiritual. He valued, his value system was the spiritual side of life and so he chose to be obedient to what God had called him. But unto Cain and to his offering, he had no respect. And Cain was very angry. And this is what the globalists are trying to do now. This is what Elon Musk and all are trying to do. They're trying to offer the works of their own hands, their intellect, demon technology and all, and they're trying to be as God. They've rejected the true and living God and coming by way of humility and brokenness and confessing like the Philippian jailer, you know, What must I do to be saved? And instead, they have the audacity and the pride of saying, God's going to let me in, or I am God. I'm never going to die. And so they got a satanic Lucifer a Luciferian complex acting like they are God. So no respect, and Cain was very angry, and his countenance fell. And the Lord said unto Cain, why are you angry, and why is your countenance fallen? If you do well, shalt thou not be accepted? And if you do not well, sin lies at the door. And unto thee shall be its desire, and thou shalt rule over him. So a few little tricky kind of plays on words here. We'll look at this now. We'll look at some verses. Why was his rejected? Who wants Hebrews 11 verse four? In the hall of faith, Abel makes it there because he brought his offering by faith. I just answered the question, but we'll go ahead and read it. And then also Hebrews twelve twenty four, who wants that? Leviticus three sixteen, Leviticus seventeen six. Now remember, Adam and Eve didn't have the law, but we're looking at the law later as consistent with what God's demanding of of these guys here. First Kings eighteen thirty eight. First Kings eighteen thirty eight. Alright. Second Timothy three five, Jude 11, Ephesians four, excuse me, Ephesians one:four-six. Somebody slap Betty there. I'm awake. I know. Alright. Galatians five sixteen. I know, you're just listening. I love you, Betty. Galatians five sixteen. Anybody got that? Okay. And then Romans six fourteen. Betty's doing that one. Okay. That's a good one, Betty. I did. Six fourteen. Okay. So we're going to get an answer real quick of why God chose Abel's offering and why he rejected Cain's offering. Hebrews 11 verse four tells us. 11 verse four? Who has it? Nobody? Where's the first one? Ralphie? Eleven four. Steve's got it. Steve's got it right there. By faith, evil offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain by which he obtained witness that he was righteous. God testifying of his gifts and he it is and by it, he being dead yet speaketh. Okay. So there was a period of instruction where God instructed Adam and Eve how he was to be approached and how they could receive salvation and forgiveness of their sins. So he taught them concerning Genesis three fifteen, the seed of the woman, and how one day the virgin born son of God, through the woman, would be crucified, bleed, and nailed to a tree, and that he would overcome death, raise from the dead, and crush the serpent's head. So the gospel was before preached to Abraham when we get there. And Jesus said, Abraham rejoiced to see my day and salt was glad. So too Adam and Eve. Adam and Eve were looking future and instructed upon this certain day of how they were to bring an offering under the Lord. So Cain and Abel had plenty. They had ample time, ample time to grow, ample time to make decisions. They're working in their various callings and and Abel, obeyed the obedience of faith and did it according to, what God had taught. Alright. Hebrews twelve twenty four. Right over here. Jim? You have a Jim? Oh, very good. Okay. You you have you have come to Jesus, the one who med mediate the new covenant be between God and people and to the sprinkled blood which speak speaks of forgiveness instead of crying crying out for ben Bengayans like like the blood of Abel. There you go. Like the blood of Abel. All the way back in the beginning, something had to die. When Adam and Eve left the garden, what'd they leave in? Something had to die, right? A lamb had to be slain. And so God at that moment could have been at that, that could have been their moment where He's explaining what He was doing there and explaining, you better teach your kids, you better teach Cain that they can't use fig leaves, you can't use the work of your hands, you've got to do this in faith and obedience, right? Amen. Going to church doesn't make you a Christian. You want to know that you know that you're saved, you're going to enter into his kingdom. Make sure that I baptize you, then you'll know. I'm just kidding. I'm kidding. I'm kidding. Right. Now when Leviticus seventeen six. Leviticus three sixteen. Stan's got that. You got that, Leviticus? Leviticus three sixteen. Hold on a sec. And the priest will burn them on the altar. It is a special gift of food, a pleasing aroma to the lord. All the fat belongs to the lord. I didn't make that up, did I? Copy now. Nope. Do you hear me? Do you hear me now? You thought I was kidding. It's a sweet smelling savory of the Lord. He loves rib eye. The Lord loves a lamb. Alright. And then 17. Who's doing that? Oh, Bruce down. Me. Got it. And the priest shall sprinkle the blood upon the altar of the Lord at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and burn the fat for a sweet savor unto the Lord. Amen. And let's see. First Kings eighteen thirty eight, we're gonna see which one's accepted, which one's rejected. Got the 450 prophets of Baal and you've got Elijah. And Elijah has been mocking the 450 prophets of Baal, making fun of them. They need to bring fire down as proof of which one is, you know, accepted, and they can't bring any fire. And they're cutting themselves, and they're they're pain jangling and getting into an occultic frenzy and Elijah makes fun of them. Maybe your God's in the restroom, maybe you're not sleeping, you know. And then Elijah, just to make sure they understand that this is a God thing, a God moment, he takes a trough and fills it with water and puts the offering and makes it like this is gonna there's gonna be no doubt when this happens. And so, first Kings eighteen thirty eight. Then the fire of the Lord fell and burned up the sacrifice, the wood and the stones and the soil, and also licked up the water in the trench. Wow. Got it all. Just licked it all up. Alright. Second Timothy three five. Hold on a second. Second Timothy three five. I don't think it's working. Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof. From such, turn away. So very, very religious people. Religion is the opiate of the people. And a whole lot of people, you know, attend church and wear the right clothes and have the Christianese and say the right things. They look from the outside like they're holy people, like they're Christians or whatever, having a form of godliness but denying the power thereof. The power, there's no love. The the proof that you're truly saved is love, the agape love. Without love, we're nothing. Now Jude 11. George said he had it. Oh, for both. They both have it. Alright. George. Oh, yeah. Okay. Woe to them for they have gone the way of Cain, and for pay they have rushed headlong into the air of Balaam and perished in the rebellion of Korah. And so a bloodless sacrifice approaching God with without, you know, Without the shedding of blood, there's no remission of sin, no sacrifice. It's got to speak future. So one lamb, one lamb for man, one lamb for a family, one lamb for a nation, one lamb for the world. John said, Behold the lamb of God who takes away, not covers, the atonement each year that Adam and Eve do this on that prescribed day. And Noah, you know, he's offering, you know, from the flood. And when they're bringing the animals into the ark, some of the animals that they're bringing in are clean animals for the purpose of sacrificing, right? So the purpose of sacrificing in recognition of man's sin and without the shedding of blood there's no forgiveness of sin, it's impossible that the blood of bulls, bullocks, venoms can take away sin, so it's speaking future, it's building, it's pointing that one day Jesus will be that lamb of God who's crucified. And that's the gospel, the gospel message that God has given. And so you could see like the you could see the those that worship mother earth, those that have a Brendan always helps me with this word, but where it would be immoral, it would be evil for you to kill an animal. You know, the animal lovers. And so they think nothing of, you know, they're protecting the eagle, protecting great white sharks, protecting all the animals. It's horrible to have an animal die even I'm going to be a vegan because you're going to kill a cow or, you know. But they think nothing of killing babies, aborting innocent little babies. No care. And we're gonna get to that in a second here. Alright. So he says, If thou doest well, thou shall not thou be accepted. Now we want someone to read Ephesians one four through six. Close attention to verse six, accepted in the beloved. I have it. K. Yep. For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love, he predestined us for adoption to sonship through Jesus Christ in accordance with his pleasure and will, to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the one he loves. Accepted in the beloved? I need the word accepted. Oh, my version. Okay. In the Cain is rejected. Abel is accepted. Right? And Abel's accepted because he came through Jesus. That's the way he came is through Jesus. Right? By faith. By way of faith. And you are accepted by the Father because you came through the Son. Right? Your faith is imputed to you for righteousness. So now he says, and if thou doest not well, so he's saying if you take and offer the appropriate sin offering, you'll be accepted, Cain. But if thou doest not well, sin lies at the door. So sin is like a lion crouched. Sin is wanting to devour you. And so sin is lying at the door. It's a heavy burden, this sin. And unto thee shall be its desire. So sin is gonna want to, we saw this word used over in verse 16, part of the curse that's upon Eve, her desire would be unto her husband. Well, sin's desire upon each of us is to rule over us. Sin wants to rule over us, and like a lion crouched at the door, that burden, sin is wanting to dominate us, overwhelm us, and take us down. And he says, And thou shall rule over him. So you're supposed to get the upper hand. You're supposed to overcome the dominance of your natural inclination to sin, the natural man? How do we overcome our natural fallen nature that wants to dominate us into sinning? Or a better word, be slaves to sin. How do we overcome our fallen nature, our Adamic nature, and not become slaves to sin? Become a new creature. We become a new creature in Christ Jesus, yes? Die Die to to self. Yes. Decisions we're making. We yield to the holy spirit. So somebody read Galatians five sixteen over here. Terry has it. And this is what George was alluding to, yielding to the Holy Spirit. Let's do it. We gotta get the microphone there. Here we go. Sing it. So I say, let the Holy Spirit guide your lives, then you won't be doing what your sinful nature craves. So if we were to study Galatians five, there's a fight going on. The flesh is lusting against the spirit, spirit against the flesh. God's saying to Cain, hey, you don't have to give into that. You don't have to give into that anger and that pride and that whole thing. If you do what's right, you're going to be free. You're going have fellowship. You're going to be much, much better off. But if you don't walk in the spirit, and the Holy Spirit hadn't been given to them yet, but they had the capacity to obey the Lord. And if you obey the Lord and do what He's prescribing, do what He's going to do, then He's going to help you. So, Romans six fourteen describes one of the aspects of our salvation. Now salvation is in three tenses, right? In the past tense, we've been delivered from the past penalty of sin. In the present tense, we are being delivered from, and she's gonna read it. Not under the law, but under grace. So because of God's grace, because of the new nature that that Vicki alluded to, if any man be in Christ, he's a new creation, the old things are passed away, all things are become new. You're born again, Nicodemus, not just body and soul, but body, soul and spirit. And as George alluded to, and Terry, we walk in the spirit, we don't fulfill the lust of the flesh. And sins line at the door, sin wants to master me, but I'm no longer a slave to sin. Sin's desire is to rule over me, to make me a slave, But I choose freedom, I choose liberty, I choose to not be a slave to sin anymore. And so I choose to live the life of the spirit, to sow to the spirit. That's why you're here tonight. You're sowing to the spirit. You're sowing and feeding your spirit so that your spirit has victory over the temptation of the world, the flesh, the devil, just as Cain was tempted, just as Abel was tempted, just as Adam and Eve were tempted, how do we overcome? We've been given the Holy Spirit, you and I. And so because we have the Holy Spirit, greater is he that's in me than he that's in the world, right? And and then so, the future tense of deliverance is the very presence of sin when we get our new glorified bodies. So, Cain, it's your decision if you want to be ruled over by sin, become a slave to sin. And how do we describe that today? We see people addicted to, a slave to many different vices, many different aspects. For some, for Canaan, it seemed like he was addicted to anger. He was overwhelmed by anger. He was overwhelmed by pride. He was a slave to selfishness, harmony, jealousy, envy, yep. All these things of the flesh, The works of the flesh. Galatians five, there's a contrast. The works of the flesh versus the spirit. The fruit of the spirit. Works of the flesh, fruit of the spirit. Right? And the way we get there to have love, joy, peace, long suffering, the fruit of the spirit in our life, which is love, is to live the life of the spirit. Okay. Now, they're not going to master you, not going to master over you. And the devil goes about like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour. Sin devours. Sin destroys. The enemies come to steal, to kill, to destroy. And we can't always blame the devil. Flip Wilson said, The devil made me do it, right? You can pull that up on YouTube. And if I ever say you, Hey, that's a bozo no no. You're as old as I am. I grew up on cartoons. A bozo no no. That's a bozo no no, Kathy. Don't do that. That dates me, right? That's old school stuff. I can't even relate to the stuff my grandkids are watching. I just, I can't even, hey. Let's watch let's watch Dick Van Dyke. Kathy had him watch the other day. Let's watch I Love Lucy. Yeah. But their stuff, I I they get it. I don't get it. Oh, we watched the Jetsons the other day and I'm like, hey, I think we caught up to the Jetsons. And one of them says, no, papa, we don't have those cars that can fly yet. And I go, I think we do. I think I heard of them. They're out there. And the old school days. So sin devours. Now, verse eight. Did I leave anybody out? So one's received, one's rejected. What's he gonna do with it? And Cain talked with Abel, his brother. And it came to pass when they were in the field, and the Hebrew here is he was lured out into the field by his brother. Cain was premeditatingly plotting murder. Jesus said if you're angry with your brother, you're already a murderer. You've already committed the deed in your heart. If you're lusting after a man or a woman, you're already an adulterer. If you look upon a woman or a man with lust in your heart already. So the heart is the problem. And in the fall, Adam, Eve, Cain and Abel, had a heart, a heart. In the fall, their heart was changed. The heart's deceitfully wicked above all things and desperately wicked, and who can know it? And that's only one that knows the heart is God. Now when we get chapter six, God looks at the heart of men, and the heart of men was only evil continually, and it repented God that he'd even made man. So it's gonna get worse and worse and worse and worse, you know, before it gets better. And there's always godly people mixed in. We were talking about the founding of America the other day because J. D. Frog said that Luciferians, Satanists are the ones that founded our country. Masons, you know, and all of Washington, D. C. With all the statues and all the symbolism, it shows a strong influence of Luciferian Illuminati Masons. Some say that even George Washington was a 33 degree Mason like Donald Trump. And if you look at the belief system of the Masons and what they did, some would say, yeah, was all Satanists. And then others would say, no, our country is founded on a Judeo Christian ethic. Both are true. All throughout history, good and evil are present. Good and evil. And so part of the compromise of politics, the compromise is some are going to leave King George's Great Britain and they're going to go to a new country. And part of what they're going to do is establish freedom of religion, freedom of speech because they desire to worship God, not in a state run church, but in a church that's free. Okay, so the bankers, Illuminati guys say, Hey, right, fine, you have that. That's no threat to us. But what we want is we want control of the money. We want control of the schools and because one day we're gonna deify Lucifer. So there's a battle between Lucifer and God's people the whole time along, but God always has a remnant. He always has a remnant. And at this point, God's man is Abel, and the devil wants to take out Abel. Well, then God's gonna bring forth Seth, right, after this. So Cain talked with Abel, his brother, and it came to pass when they were in the field that Cain rose up against Abel, his brother, and slew him. So you think God should have outlawed guns? You think they should have legislated that nobody should be able to have a gun in the garden? No guns in the garden. Yep. Yeah, the heart's wicked, the problem's the heart. So Betty brings it to the table, the real problem is the heart. In countries around the world in which we live, where people don't have weapons to protect themselves, they are subject to grievous tyranny from those in power. So the Second Amendment was put in our constitution, the right to bear arms, in case their First Amendment rights were ever infringed upon so that you could protect yourself if they're ever trying to take away your free speech or right of assembly. And then in our Bill of Rights, it's interesting, these are not benefits. These are not privileges. These are your God given, inalienable rights. Life, liberty, pursuit of happiness. The only way to ensure those Bill of Rights is to make sure that you put the fear of God in those who are sworn to uphold the constitution, right? Against enemies foreign and domestic. A constitutional republic is what they establish. And people are dummy down into thinking it's a democracy and that if we get in a bunch of foreigners in here, we can circumvent the constitution. Well, may be over a period of time because we're so dummy down, but the right to bear arms puts the fear of God in those in authority before they do their real dirty deeds to you, like during COVID in Australia and New Zealand and many of these countries, they knew the people were already disarmed. It emboldens them in Canada and Great Britain and all. I've been telling the guys that they're not afraid of you having the guns anymore and yet throughout history, even a pistol can be a major thing, having a pistol. Catherine Austin Fitts said that the problem with these globalists is none of them has ever had a bloody nose. They're bullies and they fear death. They really fear death. And so that's why when they meet in Basel, Switzerland for their banker meetings, they have 5,000 Swiss Army troops guarding them there at their Bilderberg meetings as their jets come in because they fear dying. And so it's not the gun's problem. Cain probably picked up a rock. And how are you gonna outlaw rocks? Nobody's allowed to have rocks, you know? So it's insane that people think society is going to be safer. Try walking over to Seattle now without a weapon. Try going over there without a weapon to protect you and your family and watch the crazy people who've been let out mental institutions to break down with the Cloward Piven strategy to overwhelm society, to break it down with lawlessness, Police officers told to stand down. Gavin Newsom passed a law that the police officers in California, in the LA area, open prostitution. They're not allowed to stop. The Johns coming down the street and the women, or men or boys, parading their stuff, you're not allowed to arrest them anymore. Not allowed to stop it. But in Seattle, we're told that they have knives and they have swords. And they're probably having them so they can protect themselves from each other. But you better be on your game if you go over there, if you go to any of these cities where the rule of law is lacking because the police officer's not going to get there in time to save you. So you better understand the nature of man, the heart of man is like Cain here. When people don't get what they want, some people, not all people, plot and scheme and plot to kill you. So in The UK and in Canada and these countries, they've been overwhelmed with Muslims, not all Muslims, but a lot of Muslims that are holding to the Quran and they're protected by the governments there and they're raping and killing and going after. In Ireland, it's so bad that the Protestants and Catholics are friends now to try and protect their children from the Muslims. But the government is not allowing the Catholics and the Protestants to protect themselves. They're protecting the Muslims who are preying upon. And that's what jihad means. Jihad means submission. They wait until they have, in their belief system, until they have dominance. And then it's either you say, Allah Akbar and your head's cut off, or you can pay a tax to coexist with them for a certain period of time with this belief system. So here you have the first murder. The first murder. How do we deal with murder? Murder's on the rise in Detroit. Murder's on the rise all over the country. Oh, we gotta get rid of guns. And oh, that gun right there, that's an AR 15. That's an assault weapon. No. That means, George's gonna tell me it means armor, the name of the company that made it. AR stands for the company that made it. It doesn't stand for it's an assault weapon. Right? What's the name of it? Armor. Louder. Armor light. Armor light. So it's a it's a type of weapon, and it's the name of the company that made it. It's not it's not an assault weapon. So So they legislate a thousand stripes, a thousand cuts to legislate the size of the magazine you can have, the type of weapon you can have. And I'm of the belief that at a certain point they don't care how many weapons you have in America, that they're going to bug spray you. They're going to use aerosol bug spray with drones and flyover to cause nerve agents in places like CBIC where these guys won't come into the stack and pack, smart cities, and total disarmament. Everybody has to disarm and you have to come into these smart cities in compliance with the banking system, the whole thing. And if you don't, we're going to come over and spray that area or they're not opposed to just lighting it on fire. They're lighting fires all over the planet. Direct energy weapons. You think you've got elk and deer and you're going be able to hunt and protect yourself? No. They're making laws in Oregon you can't even hunt anymore, you know what I mean? Even before it happens, you know? Fish and all that. They're introducing ticks and diseases and wolves and ways to keep you from being self sufficient. They want you to be controlled and dependent because government is taking the place of God. These guys think they're deists. So, one thing about them, they all bleed. Every single one of them bleeds, and they're afraid of bleeding. And you, the potential of you being able to protect yourself, I mean, they fear you, and they should because we have no intention of breaking the law. We're not lawbreakers. We have no intention of violating the constitution. The higher power of Romans 13 in our country is the constitution, not the elected officials. The elected officials are elected to uphold the constitution. So you and I obey in the high power Romans 13, we obey it. We have no intention of violating the constitution. That's the ruling document. It's a republic, a constitutional legal republic. So when a elected official begins to rule with mandates or I think so or executive order, if that violates the constitution, that's null and void. And one of the ways, if you ever get arrested, one of the ways to protect yourself is jury nullification. If everybody understands that if Pastor Rick gets arrested someday for something I've said, and then now I'm arrested, and you're in the jury, you recognize freedom of speech, guarantee me the freedom of speech, or guarantee me the freedom to pray outside, have a Bible in a park like in Canada, they're arresting people. And you don't care what the judge or the prosecuting, anybody tries to spin it. Hey, we came up with a new law. It's unlawful to have a Bible. Well, new law violates the first amendment. So that new law is null and void and we're gonna nullify in the jury system, not guilty. That's one of the checks and balances in the system. But moving forward, it's all gonna be AI. The judges, the whole thing's gonna be AI. AI's gonna decide. Alright, so that's a topic on a TED Talk maybe. I don't know, man. I love I love concealed carry. I love knowing that we can protect ourselves from guys like Kane. And I'll probably get hit in the back of the head with a rock, though, because I'm so trusting of people. And that's probably the way I'll go out. Amen. We'll go out as martyrs. Alright. So Cain talked with Abel his brother, and it came to pass when they were in the field that Cain rose up against Abel his brother and killed him, slew him, so the first murderer. Who wants first John three ten through 15? Anybody? Alright. And then we've got Matthew twenty three thirty four. Okay. And Luke I think if I can read my writing, Luke eleven fifty one. And then Matthew twenty two thirty seven through 39. Anybody want it? I got it. And then we've got Philippians two, three, and four. And you want that? Okay. And mine was Matthew And then in a in a second here, somebody get ready with Galatians three ten through 13. Galatians three ten through 13 is the last one in this section. Alright. So I'm gonna read it again, verse eight, and then it'll tie in with first John three ten through 15. And Cain talked with Abel his brother, and it came to pass when they were in the field that Cain rose up against Abel his brother and slew him. First John three ten through 15. First John three ten through 15. In this, the children of God are manifest and the children of the devil. Whoever does not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother. For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another. Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother, and wherefore slew he and why did he slew him? Because his own works were evil and his brother's righteous. Marvel not, my brethren, if the world hate you. We know that we have passed from death in life because we love the brethren. He that loveth his brother abides in death. That's so powerful. I mean, a lot of times we don't know why people hate us. And sometimes people say, it's their demons. Their demons see you as a child of light. You know, it's their demons responding. And Cain just hated his brother because his brother was righteous, because his brother, envious, jealous, nasty, you know, the whole thing. And we have people that hate us and we'd ask the question, what did I do wrong? One of the most fascinating things in my experience as a pastor is when somebody dies. Watch out when somebody dies in your family because all the brothers and sisters and the crazies come out of the woodwork who have been holding back with their hatred of you, and boy, they want the stuff. They want to make sure that you don't get one blade of grass more than them. It's envy, jealousy, hate, it's just ugly. And it's brewing and breeding and the whole loss of a loved one. Guess we would say as parents, maybe it's important to have a living trust. If you really love your kids so they don't kill each other after you're not there to protect them, Have some sort of a document, a living trust that prescribes who gets what and when and how and the whole thing. Because if you leave it up to them, oh my gosh. Even Christian families, they go nuts. People that profess to be Christians, they go nuts. And so you see the true heart come out with the envy and the jealousy and the greed. Greed is a big one. Matthew twenty three thirty four. Isn't that me? K. Let me find 34. 35. Uh-oh. 34. Okay. Therefore, I am sending you prophets and sages and teachers. Some of them will kill and crucify. Others will fog in your synagogues and pursue from town to town. So we can't be surprised when people hate us. Jesus told us, If they hated me, they're going hate you. And when you go with the truth, the number one thing that I see today that makes people hate us is we do not compromise the truth. If you compromise the truth, you can be neutral. They'll leave you alone. But if you stand up for the truth and will not compromise what's right, people hate that. They hate the light that shines upon them. And even in the church today, especially in the church today, if you expose their sacred cows, their idolatry, they go insane. And so if you want the church to grow, you've got to listen to Fox News. You've to somehow incorporate Fox News into the church and tell the people what they want to hear, cause they're being brainwashed. If you expose the lies of Fox News, the lies of Christian conservatism, you are going to be hated. Very much so. Just as Jesus exposed the Pharisees in his day, and he was the Pharisees don't like that. Alright. And the Lord said unto Cain, where is Abel, your brother? And he said, I know not. Am I my brother's keeper? So now we have the first lie. And so Matthew twenty two thirty seven through 39. Jesus said unto him, thou shalt love the lord thy god with all thy heart, with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. Can I do verse 40? Sure. On these two hang all the law and the prophets. So, Jim, who is my brother's keeper? Me. Me. Right? We're to love him. We're to love. The love's the fulfillment of the law. There's no way around it. We're commanded to love. Philippians two, three, and four. Nobody? Oh, Courtney? Philippians two, three, and four. Oh. Oh. I think I did not Okay. 24. That was the one I had. No. Oh, look. You're right. You're right. Sorry. Is there any three, two, three, and four. Okay. Don't be selfish. Don't live to make a good impression on others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourself. Don't just think about your own affairs, but be interested in others too and in what they are doing. So Cain's problem is he's esteeming himself better than Abel, better than everybody else. And so Philippians two, with Jesus' example, he came not to be ministered unto, but to minister and give his life a ransom for many. Paul's saying there, Esteem others better than yourself. Live a life of humility. He gives an example of the humility of Jesus emptying himself and taking on the form of a man. And that's the Christ like approach. When somebody wins a promotion at work or buys a new house, gets a car, whatever, the inclination within our natural man is to be envious and jealous and greedy. How come I didn't get one? But a spirit filled Christian would rejoice and praise the Lord, you know, and, oh, I'm so happy for you, you know, rather than being green with envy. And he said, what hast thou done? So he's lying to him, I know not. And God's asking him to direct. Now he's the prosecuting attorney. What have you done? The voice of your brother's blood cries unto me from the ground. Now, how much blood do you think has soaked into the ground since the garden? Of murders, of wars, of unbelievable, isn't it? Now in Revelation 14, somebody can read Revelation fourteen nineteen and twenty. I think this is kind of poetic justice, what the Lord does with the world at the Valley Of Armageddon when it comes to blood. Revelation 14. Want me to read it? Yeah. Okay. Oh, I got two guys back there. They're eager. Alright. Hold on, Steve. And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth and gathered the vine of the earth and cast and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of god. And the winepress was trodden without the city, and the blood came out of the winepress even unto the horse's bridle by the space of a 600 furlongs. So what did I say about the kings and the leaders? They don't want to bleed. They want to shed everybody else's blood and reduce the population and abortions and the whole thing. They don't want to bleed. And they're so greedy, they'll take the blood of babies, like vampires, to try and bring about a certain vitality to their bodies so that they don't age as fast, you know? Adrenochrome and poetic justice where the Lord, when he defeats the Antichrist, the false prophet, and all the armies of the world, these guys, he's trampling out the vintage in Isaiah 63. He's crushing them like grapes and their blood is four and a half feet high in the Valley Of Armageddon, a 200 mile battlefield square. And I believe it's illustrative of you shed everybody else's blood, now your blood is shed. And so he says, He opened her mouth, and now art thou cursed from the earth, which has opened her mouth to receive your brother's blood from your hand. The earth opened up and swallowed Korah, Dathan, and Abiram. In Isaiah, we're told in Isaiah five fourteen that hell, the mouth of hell is opened, and hell and destruction are never full. There's plenty of room in hell for those that want to reject God. But it does break God's heart. Alright. Galatians three ten through 13. Who got that one? Okay. Who who's got it? Kathy. For as many are of the works of the law are under the curse. For it is written, cursed is every one that continues not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them, but that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God. It is evident for the just shall live by faith and the law is not of faith, but the man that does them shall live in them. Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us. For it is written, cursed is everyone that hangs on a tree. So, it's so so beautiful, that picture there. There's a curse that was upon Adam and Eve. There's a curse upon Cain now, individually, for what he's done. And Jesus became a curse. He hung upon the tree. And the reason Cain is cursed is because of his rebellion against God, because he chose to go his own way, you know, try to bring forth the work of his hands, his own religiousness. So now art thou cursed, God says, verse 11, from the earth, which has opened her mouth to receive your brother's blood from your hand. This is your brother. You slew your brother, first murderer and liar. And so when thou tillest the ground, it shall not henceforth yield. So as a farmer, their yield is reduced. You're gonna suffer loss. You're going have to work by the sweat of your brow. The ground is not going to produce. You're not going to be fruitful anymore. You're going to be a fugitive. Richard, you want to get shot? I love that movie, The Fugitive. So you're going be a fugitive and a wanderer. So you're not going to have a home. You're going to be expelled from home and you're going to be all over the place. Now, It's interesting here with this verse, when he responds, hey, they're gonna kill me. What's that mean? There's a bunch of other people living at this time. Not just Cain and Abel. There's girls. There's sisters. There's population explosion going on. Right? So Cain's saying, hey, as I go out there, there's gonna be other cities, other places and stuff where people are gonna wanna kill me. And you're the one that killed your brother Abel. And remember, by the time we get to chapter six, murder's a big deal on the planet. Everybody's murdering each other. By the time we get to chapter nine, God gives capital punishment, Noah the authority of capital punishment. At this point, there's no execution of Cain. You're going to be a wanderer. You're going be expelled, and you're not going to have any fellowship with me. We're going see Cain describe that. So Cain said unto the Lord, until the ground there's no fruit, you're a fugitive, you're a wanderer, you shall be in the earth, shall thou be in the earth. And Cain said unto the Lord, my punishment is greater than I can bear. What a whiner. And people whine like crazy after they do something like this. It's not my fault. You know, I think sometimes I'm almost, well, I won't go insane, but you got three teenage kids, 18, 19, 17, 15, I don't care, and they break into an old man's house in the middle of the night. They're going to beat them to death to get a $100 or whatever. But this old man's ready and he shoots them. And the families have the audacity to go to court and to try and sue the old man because he defended himself. They didn't know better, you know. It's idiocy. Well, you raised an idiot then. You know? I mean, come on. But the courts are, you know, like, somehow you're not supposed to defend yourself. You're supposed to talk them down. Just talk them. Give them time out. You know? Bunch of whiners. It's too much for me. My punishment is greater than I can bear. So, no regard for Abel. No godly sorrow that leads to repentance. It's a worldly sorrow of selfishness, I didn't get my way. He's a whiner, he's a Judas, and we see so much of this today in the world in which we live. Behold, you know, we're blame the blame game too. We're always wanting to blame everybody else for our decisions. And so behold, thou hast driven me out this day from the face of the earth, from Eden. You're driving me away from Eden and from your face. Somehow, Cain valued the face of God. Somehow, Cain valued fellowship with God. He didn't want competition, so he killed his brother Abel. He wants God to himself, but no more fellowship. And death is separation from God. That's what death is. You're separated from God. Jesus going to the cross, reversing the curse, is a restoration of fellowship. The communion, the oneness, the joy, the blessing of knowing God and having fellowship with him. And when we see him face to face, we're gonna know even as we are known, right? Shall I be hidden, and I shall be a fugitive? So I'm going have to go into hiding. I'm going have to go into disguise. I'm going to be a fugitive, and I'll wander in the earth. And it shall come to pass, notice this, that anyone that finds me, so there's people. There's more than just Cain and Abel, finds me, shall slay me. They're going to kill me. I'm going to be a wanted man. And so to me, he's acting like a drag queen right now. That's that's how he's acting. And never the discussion, what about Abel? What about your brother? No accountability. It's everybody else's fault. So he's he takes sides against God. He's angry at God. He's angry at the world. He's angry because he's getting a raw deal. He's the murderer. He's the liar. He's the selfish one. And boy, how they try to turn it back on us, gaslight us, say it's our fault. And if you've ever been married to someone like this, I'm glad you're divorced. I'm glad you got away. And the Lord said unto him, therefore, whosoever slayeth Cain, vengeance. So now God in His grace and mercy is gonna protect Cain. And the Lord said unto him, therefore whosoever slays Cain, vengeance shall be taken on him sevenfold. And the Lord set a mark upon Cain, lest any finding him should kill him. So he's protected by grace. Now, what do you think that mark is that God placed upon Cain? We could write a book about it, the Mark of Cain. What would you put to mark him? Make people afraid of him. What would be poetic justice? A big birthmark? What? Leprosy? Leprosy? What about a horn? Are you What about a horn right there, man? Like the devil, you know, a horn. Little horns. He's gonna look different. Right? It's He's gonna look like a lot of the kids today. Right? Trying to ruin the beauty that God's given them, the beauty of who they are. They're wanting to lean toward being Luciferian, satanic. And it breaks your heart, doesn't it? The influence of demons and just breaks my heart. But next time we come together, we'll start at verse 16. Any comments or questions? Anybody feel like they got a raw deal in life and God owes you an explanation? Any murderers here? I've I've been angry with my brother. I'm a murderer. Right? Kathy, you better raise your hand. Kathy said, if I knew kung fu, I'd have snapped your neck a long time ago. She said that before. I know it. And, man, her and Britney are always running around going, Throat punch! Throat punch! They're fixated on, I'll just get my throat right to the throat, break the esophagus. Yeah. She also told me about this woman that had a violent, abusive husband and the woman in the nighttime took and sewed his sheet so he couldn't get out of the sheet, out of the bed and then she took a frying pan and beat him, just beat him, you know. That's some real anger there, right? That's purposeful. But you got five and five plan is a good thing. Amen, brother. Amen. Yeah. Better treat them right. Better treat them right. I forgot to to I told somebody at work that I would pray for him tonight. Yeah. He has a had a tumor in his brain for about twenty years. Oh my lord. And that it's in a place that they could not move it. So they put a drain in and repaired that drain, and he's been going through these surgeries all these years. His name is Jason. Jason. And I I tell him bible verses and tell him to trust in the lord, and and he I don't know. I don't think he knows the lord. He hasn't really he does read the bible on occasion, but but he he asked he asked us to pray. He's going back in next week for another surgery, and it and it's gonna be a part of the brain that is very hairy. So we need to pray for Jason that he would surrender his heart to the Lord and that he would come to the surgery. But it's the the train is getting very tight, and it's not functioning well. So so we need to pray. Alright. Do you wanna lead us some prayer, Vicky? I think she needs a microphone. And those on Facebook can join with us. The effectual fervent prayer of righteous men and women avails much, and our prayers come up before the Lord as incense. Jason is precious on the side of the Lord. Amen. And it may be God's allowed this illness to bring him to the most important healing, which is salvation. Yeah. That he'd come to know Jesus. Right? Amen. And God would heal him to boot. That'd be Amen. Thank you, Jesus. Alright. Miss Vicky's gonna pray. Father, we just ask you, Lord, to to touch touch Jason's heart unto salvation first first and foremost, that he would that he would know you, Lord. That he would surrender to you. Yes, Lord. And he would just, Lord, get to that place where where he's not gonna trust in his own his own skills, his own way, but have a a moment to surrender to you that he would he would realize that that he can't do it on his own, that he he needs you, that he surrenders to you, that his life is we talked today about life being just a vapor, so short, so fragile, and he agreed. And Lord, I just ask that you would speak to his heart, that he would surrender to you. Yes, Lord. That he would be changed, a brand new creature. Yes. That he would be turned from death to life. That he would surrender and be born again, Lord. Thank you, Father, for giving me the opportunity to pray pray for him. And Yes, Lord. I pray that you would give me an opportunity to pray with him at work, Lord. That he would then surrender, Lord, and and become born again. That his life would be be that day forward, a servant, Lord, unto you. That he would trust in you, father, for this surgery, for the outcome, but that his life would be changed Yes. From that day In Jesus' name, pray, God. Lord, pray for Robin, Vicky, and Jim, and Marlene, and Mark and Shelly as they go on an epic road trip, a vacation to Montana. We pray you give them traveling mercies. We pray that you help Mark and Shelly to get back from Idaho. Give them traveling mercies home and be refreshed enough in a week to head out. We thank you for the Monday night Bible studies here. And as Rob and Vic and Jim and Marlene and Mark and Shelly are being refreshed and strengthened, that we too would be spending time in that same way, Lord, body, soul, and spirit being invigorated, being refreshed during this season, this summer months, Lord. Thank you that we could spend time with family and friends and travel and do these things. We just pray for those that are sick, that are homebound. We pray for Greg Mitchell that you help him, Lord. Heal us back. Thank you that we could baptize Karen yesterday. And thank you that they have a voracious appetite for your word. Even though they're home, they're listening, and they're wanting to know you, Lord. They love prophecy. They're anticipating the rapture. And Karen Jackson Wallow, the same thing, and Alan Cora, what a blessing it is. And continue to help James with his knees and also as he mourns, Linda. And be with Carl Hendrix, Lord, as he and Sue, Lord, the miracle of preserving his life, helping to continue to improve and get that other stint put in when he's ready. And be with the Wilcoxes as they're on vacation, bless them. Bless Lee and Nancy, Lord. And Lord, we just lift up the body of Christ, those who are hurting. Pray for Jason, we agree. Continue to use Vicky and others at their work, employment in that mission field, continue to reach out to those who are perishing. And we lift up little tiny Calvary Bremerton, we pray Lord that we could glorify you, that you'd be well pleased. Lift up Kelly, Lord, pray that you continue to heal Kelly. Help Thomas find his puppet, his hand puppet, his ministry. Thank you for Thomas' ministry. We lift up Christie and pray that you heal her neck, that which is going on in her neck, Lord, that you would heal her and help her to be able to sing and serve you. So bless now we pray.
