Now the we're in a new section of the book of Revelation and Revelation chapter one verse 19, John was instructed to write the things which thou has seen and what he had seen was a vision of Jesus in chapter one, risen Lord, and then write the things which are in the present tense and so that was chapter two and three, the church age encompassing, you know, from Pentecost unto the rapture and then write the things which shall be hereafter, after these things and and so from chapter four and five we see the church in heaven raptured in heaven, Jesus holding in chapter five the title deed to the earth, the line of the tribe of Judah who's worthy to open the scroll and loose the seals, and so we see him holding onto the seals, he's going to open up the seals, Chapter six begins with the opening of the seals. Six unto 19 is the tribulation period. So you got the seal, the trumpet, the bowl judgments and the last of the bowl judgments is Armageddon. Armageddon we see in chapter 19 the second coming of Christ and and he comes with his bride the church who's already been in heaven and we see in chapter 20 a different dispensation which is the millennium six times a thousand years is mentioned. And it starts out talking about how the beast and the false prophet are put into the lake of fire. Also the tribulation saints that made it that refused the mark of the beast Revelation chapter 20 verse four, who gave up their heads, gave up their lives for rejecting the mark of the beast. And so in Revelation six and seven, we saw them beneath the throne of God crying out how long oh Lord, holy and true, you know, till they would be avenged and they're avenged there at the second coming. The devil's grabbed hold of and he's put into the abyss, a holding compartment by just a regular angel grabbed hold of him. So, he's going to remain there in chapter 20. We saw for a thousand years and the lord Jesus going to rule and reign from Jerusalem for a thousand years. David as his prince, the nation of Israel is no longer under the domination of the times of the Gentiles, the times of the Gentiles cease with the coming of Christ. And there are Gentile nations with kings in the millennium that that are ruling over the Gentile portion of the world. And then you and I are ruling and reigning with him in our new glorified bodies as kings and priests and and so we serve him for a thousand years. At the end of the thousand years, he allows the devil to be released and according to Isaiah 65 verse 20, the people that are repopulating the planet during that thousand years, they have children that are born and those children have till they're 100 years old to choose whether or not they're going to receive Christ or not. And if they don't, then they die. So these rebels at the end of that age are a huge huge amount of innumerable number of of rebels beneath the age of a hundreds, a bunch of teenagers wanting to go after go after Jesus and the devil's inciting them to riot, to rebel, and the Lord consumes them with fire from heaven immediately. And so that's the end of the millennium, the great white throne judgment, the wicked dead, the second resurrection are raised up and they give an account of what they did while they're in their body whether good or bad. And so you've got all the wicked dead brought up from the seed, the grave, everywhere, and so they're in their final abode and and we have the saints. We have the Old Testament saints resurrected at the second coming of Christ during that seventy five day interval that we saw in Daniel chapter 12. Blessed is he that comes to the twelve hundred ninetieth day, a thirty day past the twelve sixty of a second coming. And then blessed is he that comes at thirteen hundred and thirty fifth day. So seventy five day interval there. And we talked about Matthew 25, the sheep and the goat judgments where the Lord's gonna judge the Gentiles that made it through the tribulation period unto that seventy five day interval and he's gonna judge them according to their antisemitism or pro semitism. So those that were antisemitic that were against the Jews when they saw him the Jews naked, you know, hungry, thirsty, and in prison in the hospital and you didn't visit them, you didn't clothe them, you didn't give them food, give them clothing or something to drink. Jesus said, in at least as you done in the least of these my brethren, you done it unto me. So those that were favorable, those Gentiles are favorable. That's as James says, faith without works is dead. That proved their faith in the true living God, that action, and they get to come into the millennium and the other ones are judged. And then there's a place tonight that we're gonna look at in second Peter chapter three verse 10 through 13 where Peter reminds us that everything's gonna be burned up, a new heaven and a new earth. So coming out of the tribulation period with all the seals, the trumpets, the bold judgments, and over half of the population genocided and blood as high as the horse's bridle, four and a half feet high, and just cataclysmic earthquakes and blackouts and famine and pestilence and plagues and the planet going through a time of upheaval. Some feel during that seventy five day interval that that's where this fiery restoring of the earth takes place. But in our text it talks about new heaven and new earth that the old heaven and earth were burned up, and so we have a new heaven and new earth and a new Jerusalem. So not new in time but new in kind, and so a different kind of heaven and earth. The apostle Paul in second Corinthians chapter 12 said he knew a man in the body or out of the body. He couldn't tell but caught up to the third heaven and so Paul is privy on up into heaven the third heaven where God's throne dwells the first heaven is the air we breathe and where the birds fly the second heaven is where they didn't go to the moon and the third heaven is where God's throne dwells and so Paul's caught up there and he said it was there weren't words to express it was inexpressible couldn't couldn't define it couldn't say it and that revelation that God gave him was so great that God gave him a messenger of Satan to keep him humble lest he be puffed up without measure about what he saw up there. But what he saw up there is what we're reading about here. And so this New Jerusalem is already built and it's like a space station. It's suspended above the earth in space and imagine with all these alien talk and all the space talk and space agents and aliens who are deceiving people and everything, demons are deceiving and all. We actually have a real, you know, Jerusalem out there that during the millennium when you and I are our new glorified bodies, it could very well be that we're able to go on up there and come back and up there and come back. Wouldn't that be fascinating? And you wouldn't need a space suit or an Elon Musk rocket ship. You know? You would and at what kind of speed could you get there? You know? Would it be the speed of thought? You know? What kind of Jesus is able in that new glorified body. He's able to walk through walls. Right? So it's a new kind, a new kind of environment, new kind of place that we're gonna live in. And also, he's ascending up to the third heaven to his right hand of his father, just ascending. He's not he's not, hey, I'm gonna get on a rocket ship and come back, you know? Yeah. And he comes with the clouds. He comes with this kind of glory and all. So a total different dimension that we can't see and John's doing the best to describe it unto us as best he can. And so Father, we pray that you would open the scriptures that you'd be our teacher and Lord, we thank you for the huge profound privilege of being disciples Lord. I thank you for rescuing me and Cathy when we were 20 years old Lord and not letting us go further into the things of the world. You nipped it in the bud and and I'm just so thankful that that we get to be Christians and that we get to hang out with Christians, your church and that you've caused their minds to be open, their hearts and lives to be open Lord and John three many people don't want to believe but the folks that are gathered here tonight and those watching listening, Lord you apprehended them, you quickened them, you raised them from the dead, you revealed yourself unto us and Lord we delight in sitting at your feet and get to know you better and we ask that you be our teacher tonight and that we would be equipped and strengthened to tell people of the hope that's in us Lord that this earth is not our home, that our citizenship is in heaven. We ask that you would bless Lord in Jesus name, Amen. Alright and I saw and John keeps saying that he's John the revelator, he's got a vision and the book of Revelation is the apocalypse. It's the revelation of Jesus Christ. The volume of the book is written of him, right? Mhmm. And so if you want the key to unlock the book of Revelation, if you want the key to unlock the Bible, it's Jesus. That's the key. And every page, every word, every, you know, space in between, it's all about him. He's the logos. He's the living word. And I saw a new heaven and a new earth and so new and kind. For the first heaven and the first earth were passed away and there was no more sea. Oh, bummer. No more sea, no more no more islands and no more Hawaii, right? And and all that kind of stuff. Oh, bummer, right? No more sea. No more sea, so It's it's speaking of the vast water that covered the earth is I believe what it's speaking of. But also it said Revelation thirteen one that the beast came out of the sea. The sea was symbolic of the world and and Isaiah twenty seven one is the sea monster. God's going to deal with the sea monster but it looks like the new heaven, the earth doesn't have the vast amount of water covering it like we have today like we see today and so how did it pass away? Turn to second Peter chapter three. And verse 10. But the day of the Lord, but the day of the Lord, right? What is the day of the Lord you guys? Every day. Second coming. Pardon me? Second coming. Nope. It's The the day of the Lord is the tribulation period. It's a campaign of when it starts to the finish of him setting up his kingdom. And so the day of the Lord, the day of the Lord, the day of the Lord speaks to the time of Jacob's trouble, and we we got a whole list of it, but it's basically starts with the signing of the peace treaty and becomes a campaign throughout the book of Revelation. It's a campaign continuing client culminating with the second coming as Bernie Bernie said of Jesus. So but the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night. So in first Thessalonians five, you and I as children of light, the day of the Lord doesn't come as a thief in night to us because we're aware. We know the tribulation, the beast system is being built right now, we know it. We see the one world economic system being built. We see the one world religious system where everybody's claiming to be a Christian now, everybody, all there. Everybody's gonna be religious moving forward, right? No more atheists. And you can be any religion you want, but everyone's getting on board. And then a one world governmental system, the world being divided in 10 toes, 10 horns, 10 crowns, 10 kings. We've studied that in the book of Daniel in Revelation thirteen and seventeen. And so we see that now. First Thessalonians five, the unbelievers don't see it. So the coming of the Lord when they say peace and safety, they look for peace and safety, peace and safety, the Department of War, the Board of Peace, you know, that Trump's fostering. When Jesus returns, the seal judgments start to be unleashed and Catherine Austin Fitz says there's trillions and trillions, 17,000,000,000,000 or more missing over the last few years where the governments of the world have been building underground cities. They're getting ready to go underground and Revelation chapter three tells us that the rich are under the ground and they're trying to hide from the wrath of the lamb. Yeah. So they think they're gonna be able to escape all that's happening on the surface and in the in the heavens and the cataclysmic events and 100 pound hail bombs coming down and bombarding people. Demons coming up in Revelation nine out of the abyss and flying around and they're not drones. Right? They're not drones. They're flying around. They're stinging people and biting people. And Revelation nine, the people can't die. Ain't that fascinating? One little tidbit. I've been asking the question, how are we gonna stop these drones, swarms of drones where you have multi hundreds of millions of dollar weaponry on your ships and stuff. And in Yemen, they're using relatively inexpensive drones to torment and all that sort of thing. And how are you gonna do that? And we talked about EMPs. We talked about how Russia had technology with USS Donald Cook and the Black Sea to render it helpless with a directional EMP. It made all their electronics fry. Right? And recently I saw where Israel with America has now has implementing because part of this is beta test. You're beta testing weaponry in all these areas of war right now. Getting ready for a bigger one. But as a little tidbit, they have the ability to EMP the drones that are coming in. Not just the dome like they have to block the missiles that are coming in from Iran, but they have the directional EMP electromagnetic pulse weapon to render all their electronics, you know, null and void. And that's very fascinating to me because that's that's like one group having bows and arrows and you having Winchester rifles, know, you're gonna have an advantage in the battlefield. So the day of the Lord is gonna come as a thief in the night and and we see the beast system being built and when we see that, we're told to look up knowing that our redemption draws nigh, that the rapture's coming at any moment. Now when do you guys think the rapture's gonna take place? Anybody know? How much longer? How much longer? When are we going home? Today. Is anybody homesick? Yeah. Anybody wanna go home? Ready. Alright. So in which the heavens shall pass away. Second Peter chapter three verse 10. In which the heavens shall pass away. So in Zechariah, there's a passage in chapter 14 of men's skin melting off their body. Right? Mhmm. And so might be neutron bombs taking place during the tribulation period where the infrastructure that these guys are building their smart cities remain, but they use nuclear weaponry, neutron bond they call it, where they fry all the people. They just get rid of all the people. They melt all the people. But it's God melting them. It's God causing them all to be melted. And by Him all things consist. So if you guys are students of atomic energy and the atomic bomb and all and the splitting of atoms, In Colossians it says by him all things consist. That word consist means Jesus is the glue that holds all of the atoms together. So if Jesus during the time of the day of the Lord releases these atoms it creates a huge fireball doesn't it? Fire. Just everything's gonna burn up. It's all gonna burn. He's not gonna destroy the earth with the flood. He's gonna destroy it by fire. Right? And so the first heaven and the first earth are passed away. And so the heavens shall pass away with great noise and the elements shall melt with fervent heat. That word fervent, when I say that word, the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much. That means you're not lukewarm. That means you're not in a church, you're not a Christian that's asleep. That means your prayers are hot. You're on fire. The effectual mean you don't stop. You continue to pray the effectual fervent prayer, hot prayer of a righteous man avails much and I always get frustrated when I pray for people that are sick with cancer and we can't get them healed, it frustrates me and so I always look at, man, maybe I'm not that effectual fervent prayer guy, know. This kind in Matthew 17, this kind cometh not out but by prayer and fasting. Maybe maybe we gotta spend more time in prayer and fasting to to be able to overcome that kind, that kind of sickness, that kind of demon, that kind of, you know, move and working of the wicked one, you know. And when we get into chapter six of Ephesians, we're gonna try and study and learn the strategies of the wicked one. We're gonna try and get to know our armor and how we use that armor against all the wickedness that comes against us. And so the elements shall melt with a fervent heat. The earth also, so this is gonna burn up. Now do you think this is happening in that seventy five day interval where the earth is gonna go through the purifying of fire? Or is it at the end of the millennium, at the end of the millennium where it's all actually burned up and we've got a brand new, a new kind of heaven, a new kind of earth, not just not just emphasis new in time, but new in kind. And so I heard Brandon in there, he thinks it's at the end of the millennium. Right? But the earth does undergo according to, you know, like Isaiah 11 where we see the reversing of the curse, the beasts and the animals and all them, and we see in Isaiah two, we see the earth restored, maybe we would use a word, closer to the condition of Eden, you know, the curse. We're gonna see some verses here that talk about the curse being reversed. So it's something to think about, but in any event, melt with a fervent heat the earth also and the works that are in it shall be burned up. Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved so the day of the Lord, the campaign of the Lord and His second coming in His return gonna be met with the earth going under fire, everything's gonna be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in all holy living and godliness? He's letting you know you can't take it with you. It's all gonna burn. You ever hear people say it's all gonna burn. It's all gonna burn. And what's funny is they're mistreating your possessions when they say that, you know. And so they ought you to be in all holy living and godliness looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God in which the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved and the elements shall melt with fervent heat. And so the Lord in His return in that campaign of Armageddon, that seventy five day interval, restoration that's going to take place but also at the end of the millennium it could be that time wise that this takes place place then. Not sure, not sure. Are you guys sure? Do you guys know? Commentators, lot of them they're so afraid of it that they they make it allegorical symbolic, this chapter that we're in. And so in any event, we were told here, now there's no references in the Old Testament like we did with the millennium and like we did with the book of Revelation. We have no references in Ezekiel or Isaiah or any of the prophets about the eternal state. Revelation twenty one and twenty two, it's only the book of Revelation that gives us a picture, a synopsis, an overview of what the conditions are like in the eternal state. At the end of the millennium, a thousand year old reign after the Great White Throne Judgment, all the wicked dead, we move forward into a new heaven, a new earth condition. So in Ephesians two verse seven, it says in the ages to come. Remember we looked at ages premillennial dispensationalist, what age are we in now? Church age. Church age started at Pentecost and continues until when? Till the rapture of the church which is Romans eleven twenty five. That blindness apart has happened unto Israel. So presently Israel's put on hold, they're regathered in unbelief, Ezekiel thirty six and thirty seven, but we're in the church age, the dominance of Jew and Gentile, male female, barbarian, Scythian bond or free, whosoever will let them come. There's the church age ends with the rapture. The tribulation period starts Daniel nine twenty five through 27 with the signing of a covenant with the Antichrist. The little horn signs a covenant with the nation of Israel and that starts twelve hundred and sixty days later this Antichrist in place of Jesus Christ, his impostor, goes into the temple. Matthew twenty four fifteen goes into the temple, declares himself to be God, demands to be worshipped as God. Twelve hundred and sixty days after that is the second coming of Jesus. He's gonna come back. So you look at it as a time, a time and a half time. You look at it as forty two months, three and a half years, or twelve hundred and sixty days. And blessed is he that comes to thirteen hundred and thirty fifth day because that person gets to go into the millennium. We're gonna rule and reign with the Lord for a thousand years. And so you have the age of the church, you have the age of the tribulation period, which is the seventieth seven of Daniel and 69 sevens were determined and the coming of the Messiah, the prince and the Messiah would be cut off and so the time that the command goes forth to restore and rebuild Jerusalem until the coming of the Messiah, the prince shall be sixty nine seven year periods of time. And and so four hundred and eighty three years after that command or a hundred and seventy three, eight hundred and eighty days. And on March fourteenth four forty five BC, Artaxerxes, Lodimannus gave the command to go and restore and rebuild Jerusalem on an April six thirty two AD. Jesus rode into Jerusalem. Amen. And they did not know the time of their visitation. Your city's left here desolate. Hoff and I had gathered you as mother hen does gather her brood around her around her wings but you would not. He sees Titus up ahead in seventy eight deacon to destroy Jerusalem and and so his heart is broken. He's rejected, officially rejected in his first advent, first coming as the Messiah but Daniel nine twenty five through 27 said that Messiah would be cut off and Jesus said in John chapter five, I come in my father's name and you receive me. Not another shall come in his own name and him you shall receive. So, the nation of Israel set themselves up presently with Donald J Trump helping them to rebuild their temple. Right? And and the Cyrus coin and the whole thing that's going on, the Asher the Red Heifer, we're getting close. We're getting close to all this stuff. And so so you have the seventieth seven of Daniel yet to be fulfilled. The children of Israel owed God seventy years in Babylon because they didn't allow the land to receive the Sabbath rest over four ninety year period of time. And now they have a seventy one seven year period of time, the seventy seven, the time of Jacob's trouble, the day of the Lord, which we're thankful that it's a short period of time, isn't that? For Bill Gates and all these crazies, Peter Thiel, Elon Musk, Zuckerberg, all the bankers for them to be seduced by the devil into thinking that they can be as gods and the technocrats according to Revelation seventeen seventeen, the Lord's gonna put it into their hearts to do according to his will. The stage is being set for the return of Jesus to do the biggest smackdown ever. And so these guys are doing God a favor. He's gonna be glorified. And even the nation of Russia and Turkey and Germany and Iran and The Sudan and this coalition of nations of Ezekiel thirty eight and thirty nine, they're doing God a favor and that there one day God's gonna put a hook in their jaw and draw them into Israel and they think they're gonna take the spoil and God is causing himself to be glorified because he's going to wipe out five out of every six of those who try to invade. And I believe that's gonna happen before the tribulation period and soften the underbelly of the world to receive the Antichrist as a peacemaker. And so that's on the horizon and would you do you guys prefer to read comic books? Or do you like studying the Bible? Like studying the Bible. I like what God's showing us. I don't want to be asleep or go to sleep or attend a church that's asleep. I wanna be a student of prophecy. And I thank the Lord that we've been able to study through this book and the other prophetic books in the Old Testament and the volume of the book is written of him, the spirit of the Lord prophecies, the testimony of the spirit of prophecy And one third of the bible's prophecy. And God's telling us ahead of time what's gonna happen. So we are connecting dots and it's exciting to connect dots. And I I'm not bummed out that I'm missing Fox News right now to find out what's happening in the world out there, you know. Because they're lying to me. They're lying to me. And all the news media is lying to me. And I like reading God's word. It's not a waste of time studying God's word and knowing that it's impossible for God to lie. That everything that He's written is come to pass, 300 prophecies fulfilled in His first coming and all these things that He's saying are going to come to pass as you and I are living in these last days. Alright, so I saw a new heaven and a new earth for the first heaven the first earth were passed away and there was no more sea. And I saw and I John saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem coming down from God out of heaven prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. So we have a new home here In John fourteen:three Jesus said, Let not your heart be troubled. You believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions, dwelling places, places to live. If it weren't so I'd tell you, I go to prepare a place for you and if I go to prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you unto myself that where I am there you may be also. At the rapture of the church, this is where we're going. We're gonna be at the new Jerusalem. We're gonna be in heaven. We're gonna be at the father's house. Right? And there's there's a Jerusalem on earth during the millennium and there's a Jerusalem that Jesus rule and reign from and there's a Jerusalem in heaven that's like a I don't wanna use spaceship, but a cube of shining bright light out there. Maybe kinda similar to what the wise men saw from Babylon when they were looking for the the star of Bethlehem. They were looking for the king of Israel. The Shekinah glory of God glowing out there, you know, and Rob studies the stars and all. Well, these guys in the millennium are gonna say, hey, there's something right there that we've never seen before. Look at that thing. And then you are gonna say, beam me up Scotty and you're gonna go right on up there. Right? You're gonna go on up there. And all the earth dwellers who don't have a new glorified body, who have their natural bodies, they can't move as fast as you. They can't do what you're doing because it takes a new body to be a part of a new city, to be a part of a new heaven and a new earth. It takes a new body, a new kind of body, right? And you're gonna have that new kind of body. And so let's look at some passages that speak of the hope that guys like Abraham had about this new city that he was looking for whose builder and maker was God. Hebrews 10, or excuse me, 11 eleven:nine through 16, who wants that one? I'll do it. Okay, and Galatians four twenty six, who wants that? I can do it. Okay, in Hebrews twelve twenty two through 24. I'll do it. Okay, and I John saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem coming down from God out of heaven. A home prepared for a bride, a home prepared for the church, a home prepared for the wife of Jehovah, the nation of Israel decked out gold. Gold is the speaks of deity, gold, and there's transparent gold. The whole city is made out of transparent gold and we got gold at $5 an ounce right now. The city, the whole city and the roads, the asphalt in heaven is gold, just everywhere gold. And Donald Trump's trying to get a head start, everything's gold. Maybe he's saying he's deity. Old Nebbe built a 90 foot tall golden image of himself. That kind of stuff is cringe worthy to me. It makes me cringe. It makes me I don't even have to say anything anymore. It's like this is so far over the top cringe worthy people. If you don't say something about it, you're asleep. I don't need to say anything more about it. I warned I tried to warn you, but man, it's so far beyond what I could even envision back before the election, you know? This is spooky, how spooky this circus has become. He's a casino operator the way he's insider trading and all the crypto stuff for him and his family, the $40,000,000,000, you know, they've amassed in a short period of time. All over the world, people giving them billions of dollars in airplanes and stuff to the art of the deal, you know? When does that ever happen? I mean, it's crazy. It's Looney Tunes, you know? But it's the last days. The church is asleep. They're apostate. They don't even get it. They just wanna hide out a little bit longer before reality kicks in. Have you heard about the coming blackouts? Anybody here with that? It's gonna be fascinating. They're creating a crisis, a choke point, the Strait Of Hormuz. It's a purposeful choke point with energy and we don't even need to be dependent upon oil energy anymore. But they're forcing us all into it because it's a means of control. Right? Okay. So I'm a crazy man. I know it. Alright. Hebrews eleven nine through 16. Who is that? I got it. Just gotta put one more page. 11. Take my glasses off. By faith, he sojourned in the land of promise as in the strange country, dwelleth in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob. The heirs the heirs with him of promise. For he looked for the city which hath foundations, whose neither builder and oh, excuse me, whose builder and maker was God. Through faith, also Sarah herself received strength to conceive seed and was delivered of a child where she was past age because she judged him faithful who had promised. Therefore, sprang there even of one and in him as good as dead. So many as the stars of the sky, sky in multitude and as the sand which is by the seashore innumerable. These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them far off and were persuaded by them and embraced them and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth. For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country. And truthfully, if they had mindful, if they had been mindful of that country from whence they had come out, they might not have been up, there might have been an opportunity to have returned. But now they desire a better country that is a heavenly. Therefore, God is not ashamed as he's called to be their God for he has prepared them the city. So do you feel like you're at home? Does this earth feel like home to you? Does this does this government feel like a godly government? Do they represent you, your values, how you think, what you esteem? No. And so if we start at the starting point where Adam forfeited dominion over this earth and the usurper, the devil, Satan, whom the Bible describes as little g god of this world, the prince, the power of the air, where he's ruling. He he has authority over all these governments. This is his world. This is Satan's world. Right? Yeah. Now above that, that sphere of authority and sovereignty, God's still on the throne in control. And although Adam forfeited dominion over the earth and the earth itself and we saw Matthew four when Jesus was tempted, Satan offered this earth to Jesus if he'd bow down and worship him. Jesus declined. The devil was offering him a shortcut. You don't need to go by way of the cross. You don't need to go by way of suffering. You know, you can have it all if you'll worship the devil, worship a fallen angel and it is written thou shall worship the Lord thy God and him only shalt thou serve. So Jesus refused that shortcut, refused that way, but it illustrates the authority that the devil had in his rebellion and is usurping from Adam, our first federal head, a representative of humanity. And so Jesus comes on the scene as the seed of the woman, the virgin born son of God, the son of man, the last Adam and he fulfills everything incumbent upon him to redeem the earth. And so it wasn't that he wanted another planet, it was that you're that treasure in the midst of this field that he had to purchase with his own blood. And so in the purchasing of you, he also purchased this planet. So he has right by right of creation and right by redemption, but he hasn't taken possession of the purchased possession yet. So he sealed us. He's given us the earnest, the Holy Spirit and the trees and all of creation is groaning and travailing waiting for the day that Jesus will come take possession of this earth because it's in a cursed condition and there's a day where the trees want to clap their hands and all of creation, the birds, everyone, the curse reversed and begin to worship the true and living God once again. But the devil tries to posture himself as he's gonna make a Utopian age here, a golden age, an age of Aquarius, and that if people will worship him and worship the beast and his image and all. And so it's a huge deception and it bothers me that Christians are being seduced, professing Christians, seduced into that because this is not our home. Jesus said this kingdom is not of this world, it's not of this world in the sense of this character that this world is in. So Abraham and Sarah they were looking for a city whose builder and maker is God. They were pilgrims, were strangers, they were sojourners. They didn't feel at home wherever they were. They didn't feel at home. The only piece of real estate that Abraham purchased was the cave at Mephilah in Hebron to bury his beloved Sarin when she died, know. So he was a tent guy. He was temporary abode in a tent. You see what I mean? And he wasn't putting down roots. He was looking for that city, that new Jerusalem and totally and completely dissatisfied with Egypt and Sodom and Gomorrah and all that the world had to offer. He was dissatisfied. He was looking for something better. Alright. And so and that better is home. So Galatians four twenty six. But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of assault. So Jerusalem in contrast to Mount Sinai, the law, we're looking we're looking up Jerusalem's above, and that's ultimately, that's where our home is. And then Hebrews twelve twenty two through 24. For you have come to Mount Zion and the city of the living God, heavenly Jerusalem, and to the marriage of angels, to the general assembly and the church of the firstborn who are enrolled in heaven and to God, the judge of all and to and to spirits of the righteous, not perfect made perfect, and to to Jesus, the mediator of the new covenant, and to the sprinkling of blood which speaks bitter than the blood of Abel. So in this new heaven, this new earth, this new Jerusalem, we're gonna see here there's no temple. God is the temple. God is gonna dwell and make us a boat among us. He's omnipresent, He's gonna be everywhere. There's gonna be a few omissions, few things that aren't gonna be there's gonna be no sun, s u n, be no moon. God's gonna be the light thereof. So it's a new kind of home, a new kind of place. Now notice who the people are that inhabit it, a numeral company of angels, the angels are gonna be a part of this new Jerusalem. Man, you're gonna meet Clarence. You're gonna see God's wings. Right? And one of the fascinating things that's taking place right now is you're watching some of the pastors having people read the book of Enoch because they're trying to preempt and get people ready for this fallen angel, you know, the aliens that Trump and the guys are gonna devote, the paperwork and all that. Between the testaments, between the close of the Old Testament, Malachi and the start of the New Testament, there's a period of time there four and something years where you have Jewish writings and these Jewish writings is the Apocrypha and one of the books in the Apocrypha which is uninspired by the way, is talks about the Nephilim, the angels and fallen angels and so kind of fascinating. So in this new Jerusalem, there's no Nephilim fallen angels. These are one third of the stars in Revelation 12 fell with Lucifer in Isaiah 14 and Ezekiel 28. But he's just a fallen angel, one angel grabs hold of him and throws him, he's a cherub, exalted angel, grabs hold of him and puts him in chains for a thousand years and then he meets up with the Antichrist and the false prophet in the Lake Of Fire where they spend all eternity. But we see there's gonna be innumerable company of angels, we're gonna get to meet these angels and that's gonna be fascinating. Now Jesus didn't come back as an angel, Hebrews one. He came back as a man, the son of man. He identifies with you and I as human beings and that's why the angels desire to look into these things. They're so curious because when Lucifer fell, one third fell with him, there's no plan of redemption. So what about these guys that you made from the dust of the ground, this Adam, this Eve, these people, all they've ever done is rebel against you. You know, that's all they've ever done. And you take on the form of a man, the babe of Bethlehem, and you allow them to crucify you, to abuse you and all. And so I think the angels what do you think the angels are gonna say to us? I always think they're gonna say, why didn't you pray more? Why didn't you pray about everything? Why did you doubt? Why didn't you believe? Because we can limit God through unbelief, right? God want to do so much more. He want to do so much more but and we use that word limited loosely but they failed to enter in the children of Israel because of unbelief, right? They grieve, they quench the Holy Spirit. I believe in my lifetime the number one thing that's held me back is a fighting church. Always fighting among ourselves, always bickering and fighting and gossiping and afraid, insecure, wanting power, wanting to jockey for position. So biting and devouring one another, you know. And the devil just looks on and says, you guys are doing it to yourselves. You're doing it to yourselves. And I think that's the biggest mystery for me is like, man, what we could have accomplished if we'd have worked together, you know, if we'd have been one. So innumerable company of angels to the general assembly and church of the firstborn who are written in heaven and to God the judge of all the spirits of man made perfect. And so you've got the Old Testament saints, the tribulation saints, the church age, you've got the millennial saints and the nation of Israel, the 144,000, the two witnesses and these are the people that have this new home and it's like a bride, a home prepared for a bride. And so again, the Jewish wedding, the betrothal, the fetching, the ceremony in heaven and then the return to the marriage supper of the lamb on earth. And so like Paul when he went up there and saw it, we're up there and we see it and we come back with the Lord, we don't come back with the new Jerusalem, we come back with Jesus to the old earth. Right? And we're gonna just be so stoked, you know, letting people know that man, you ain't seen nothing yet. You ain't seen nothing yet. This this Jerusalem in the millennial Ezekiel's temple, it's pretty cool, but man, you ought to see the new Jerusalem, Come with me, come with me, hey, check it out, you know. And it's gonna be so exciting. So John saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem coming down from God out of heaven prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, behold, the tabernacle of God is with men and he will dwell with them and they shall be his people and God himself shall be with them and be their God. Amen. Tabernacle, dwelling place, God's gonna dwell among us. Now if we were to turn and let's turn. If we turn to John chapter one, I think we're gonna see something pretty cool there. It's after the book of Luke. John chapter one. It's the other beginning, in the beginning. Right? In the beginning in Genesis, God created the heaven and the earth, created as bara out of nothing in Genesis one one. Right? And here, we have a glimpse before the physical creation and we have this emphasis upon tabernacling. Now Paul said, I fought a good fight, finished my course. He said the time of my departure is at hand and that picture of departure is the picture of a breaking of a tent in a campground. So Paul knew his death was soon, but he likened his life as just this body as a temporary abode, a temporary tabernacle if you will. And so the time my departure is hand, I fought a good fight, finished my course, and there's now laid up and you go through that in chapter four of the second Timothy and he's describing what awaits him. But in John chapter one, in the beginning, so in Genesis one one, in the beginning, when was the beginning? In the beginning God, Elohim, three person of the Godhead, father son holy spirit created bara out of nothing. So in the beginning was the word. In the very beginning is the word, the logos, the incarnate word of God. And the word was with God and the word was God. So the word's God, the second person of the Trinity is the word of God. The volume of the book is written of him. Search the scripture and then you think you have eternal life and they or they which testify of me, Jesus said. So with God and the word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him. So John one, Colossians one, Hebrews one and Revelation one all prove the deity of Jesus Christ. Who do men say that I am? Everybody's got an opinion. Who do you say that I am? Thou art the Christ, the Messiah, the anointed one. Right? Blessed art thou Simon Bar Jonah for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you but my father was in heaven. And I say unto you your little stone, Peter Peter and upon this rock massive stone myself, I'm gonna build my church and the gates of hell not gonna prevail against it. So the same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by Him and without Him was not anything made that was made. We're talking angels, principalities, planets, everything was made. Same. Even Satan, yeah, fallen angels. He created being. In him was life and the life was the light of men and the light shines in the darkness and darkness overcame it not. There was a man sent from God whose name was John. Now, why did John lose his head? Speaking the truth. Speaking the truth. What a surprise. Never saw it coming. There's things in our life we never see it coming, but it's God's will. It's not because you're bad. And so to be asked of the bodies be present with the Lord. John's with the Lord. He's in a good place. He The same came for a witness to bear witness of the light that all men through him might believe. He was not the light, John wasn't the light, but was sent to bear witness of that light. And so you can picture that like, because, hey, because, I'm in prison here. I'm a guy that likes being out in the field with locusts and wild honey and baptizing people down at the Jordan. You know me, you're my cousin. Are you the one? Well, previously he said behold the lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world. Guys some days you know our faith is so strong we say the right things like Peter and then the Lord's blessed you know commending us, oh blessed art thou Simon by Jonah, flesh and blood, man, really you're really on fire, man. You really got some good insights in the scripture, Peter. You really got it. And then Jesus goes on to describe how he's gonna be betrayed and given over the hands of the Gentiles and all. He's gonna be crucified and Peter comes over to him and says, be that far from thee. That's not gonna happen to you. And Jesus said to him, get behind me Satan. You savor not the things that be of God but the things of men. So you go from really having great insight and great woah, woah, woah, here to get thee behind me, Satan. Right? Now Kathy hasn't said that to me yet, so not It's not that coming, man. I'm just a dope on a rope. Alright. So that was the true light which lights every man that cometh into the world. He was not in the world or he was in the world and the world was made by him. Speaking of Jesus, John bearing witness of that light. He was in the world so he's in Nazareth, his own brothers didn't believe in him till after the resurrection. His community in Nazareth didn't believe in him. Isn't this the carpenter's son? Isn't Mary and Joseph, aren't his brothers and sisters here still with us, know? And a prophet is not without honor except among his own family, right? Kindred and all. And so he was in the world, the world is made by him, the world knew him not. He came unto his own, the nation of Israel, and his own received him not. But as many as received him, them gave he the power to become the children of God in them that believe on His name. You and I have received Him when we give an author call, we give an invitation, when we give an invitation to Christ. People say well accepting Christ isn't that doesn't mean you're saved. Oh have you accepted Christ? How about receive Christ? Have you received Christ? As many as received him to them gave you power to become the sons of God, right? There's a way to to transfer this opportunity, you know. Whosoever calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved, you know? So we try to give people an opportunity to respond. People say, well, there's no altar calls in the Bible. There's no crusades in the Bible, you know? And people like to muddy the waters concerning evangelistic efforts. How many of you like when a pastor during the service on Sunday gives an opportunity for people to receive Christ? Isn't Yeah. That a good thing? Why would people denigrate that unless they're hyper reformed Calvinists that don't think you need to that the ones that are saved will get saved, they're already saved, you know? Crazy people. Alright. But as many as received him to them gave he power to become the children of God, it's by the power of the Holy Spirit, even to them that believe on his name who are born not of blood nor the will of the flesh nor the will of man but born of God. So it's not just the physical birth, there's a spiritual birth here, they're born of the spirit. And here's our verse about tabernacling. And the word, remember how in the beginning, in the beginning was the word, was with God, the word was God. Same was in the beginning with God all things are made by him without him, Not only me, I'm speaking in tongues now. And the word was made flesh. So he took on the form in Philippians two. He took on the form of a man, the locos. And the word was made flesh and dwelt among us and we beheld and that word dwelt is tabernacled. He tabernacled among us. And we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the father full of grace and truth. Alright, back to our text. Don't you love God's word? Amen. We got a new home kids. We got a new home. Well Lord, I lost my home. I went through foreclosure, I got a new home for you. I got a new place for you. So much gold everywhere and it's so bright, you're gonna need all your sunglasses, Rick, you're gonna need them all. Lord I like sunglasses I know Rick. You're cool. And I heard a great voice I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, behold, the tabernacle of god is with men and he will dwell with them. So, you don't go to the temple to meet him, to see him. He's everywhere. And we can be careful in the way that we pray even in this room or at the church, church building, tabernacle, Seventh day Adventist Church that we get to use where we start to pray things like, Lord, we sense your presence. Lord, we pray that you'd manifest yourself among us, you know, and he's always there. What we're really saying is Lord help us to tune in, help us to tune in, get quiet enough and turn our phones off long enough that we can sense your presence, right? Cause you're always there with me Lord, always there. And somebody apologized to me their phone went off on Sunday. I didn't even care, didn't even bother me. I told them they weren't gonna lose their salvation, it's okay. And and I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, behold, the tabernacle of god is with men and he, oh, it wasn't Betty. She wasn't there. It wasn't you, Betty. It wasn't he? And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, behold, the tabernacle of god is with men and he will dwell, tabernacle dwell, he dwelt among us with them and they shall be his people. I wanna be his people. I don't wanna be in John eight and Jesus tell me, your father's the devil. And who's he saying it to? He's saying it to the Pharisees, to Jewish religious leaders, your father's the devil. He was a liar and a murderer from the beginning. The lust of their father you will do. Oh! This whole debate about who is the true Israel of God, you know, I'll bless those that bless them, curse those that curse them. The true Israel of God are those who believe, right? And even regathered in unbelief presently, we respect the promises that are given to the nation of Israel, but we also recognize the only ones that are getting into this city are the ones that believe in Jesus. Mhmm. Right? Only ones. And so that's part of the reason why we're we're we're favorable toward them and wanting to be kind to them and share with them and provoke them to jealousy, that they would be provoked to jealousy that we know, we know the greatest Jew that ever lived, his name is Jesus. We know that we know. So I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, behold, the tabernacle of God is with men and he will dwell with them and they shall be his people and God himself shall be with them and be their God. You know, you may go through life and not have very many friends, but if you've got Jesus as your friend, he says he calls you friends, man, you got all you need. You got everything you need. All the saints, all the angels are there. And boy, what a party that's gonna be. What a time of rejoicing. What a time singing and feasting and just celebrating. So you've got a new home now. Now he's gonna describe the new heart. He's gonna give you a new heart. And God shall wipe away all tears. The curse is gonna be reversed. The curse is gonna be removed. And we saw this in Isaiah 11 and Isaiah two, the curse in that the animal kingdom is not in that cursed condition of trying to devour one another and things made closer to the Garden of Eden and yet there's still sin in the millennium. Here he says, and God shall wipe away all tears. So I'm in heaven, I'm at the New Jerusalem and I'm crying. So there are tears, but they're wiped away. I don't know what I'm crying about. I don't know how I cannot cry if there's somebody that I love that didn't make it to heaven that got rejected and judged at the great white throne judgment. It's gonna break my heart. How could heaven be heaven if I have that memory, if I have that thought in my heart and mind of the former former time, you know. So do you think like in men in black he does some sort of erases your memory? Are we gonna really know that if we have a loved one that didn't make it? That's what I'm asking you, Betty. I hope I don't have any. Let's read this together. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain for the former things shall be passed away. There's no more hospitals, there's no more graves, there's no more sickness. There's some of you are in chronic pain your whole life, emotional, physical, all of that goes away. No more. But the part that freaks me out is well, I have a memory of people that I love that didn't make it. Like what if what if the realization is, hey, my mom's not here. Hey, is Jessica where's Jessica? What do you do? I'm not comforted right here. There's no comfort right here in thinking, oh, it doesn't matter. He'll just remove those memories. No, my heart's breaking right now. I don't project out there and say, well someday that pain will go away. No, that doesn't come for me. I want to know right now that she's gonna be there and I want to know that my mom's gonna be there. I wanna know the people that I love are gonna be there. And I don't wanna waste my life and find out later that they're not. So when Jesus saw the nation of Israel rejecting him, did he weep over the city? It bothered him. Yeah. So I guess the time to cry and to weep is now. Yeah. This is the time to exhibit or experience the broken heart of God. God's heart is breaking over the lost and you experience in fellowship with him, it's his heart that's breaking within you over the lost. He's not indifferent to the lost. He's not saying well it doesn't matter one day I'll just erase everybody's memory. It doesn't matter if people are in hell because one day I'm just gonna burn it so hot that none of them will feel that pain anymore. That's called annihilation. The Bible doesn't teach annihilation. The Bible teaches eternal torment. Well how could a God of love? Well you can't go there. God of love sent his son to die for you. Some of this stuff's too heavy for our heads to think through, right? So we gotta prayerfully run with what we do know and we do know that one day all of the child trafficking is gonna stop. All these children that have been the innocence that have been preyed upon and and been breaking God's heart watching humanity, grieved God that he made man because he saw that man's heart was only evil continually. So he decided to cause the flood to destroy man and Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord, right? So eight people, God's gonna start over with eight people and Jesus is gonna come forth from that lineage to be the savior of the world. So there's no more tears from their eyes, there should be no more death, neither sorrow nor crying and there shall be any more pain for the former things are passed away. So in my experience when people that I love die, I go through a grieving process that can last variable times or period, but it's a part of love. It's part of loving somebody and it can come across you and hit you upside the head and unexpectedly a little memory boom, it triggers something and you start to weep, start to miss them and then you wipe your face and you have a period of time where you think, all right, I'm over that and then comes back again. Maybe it's at Mother's Day, maybe it's at Christmas, maybe it's when another person in the family dies, brings back all these memories, all these things and so like Betty, I agree with Betty, all of us we understand that at some point it's not gonna hurt anymore. The pain is gonna finally stop. And for the former things are passed away, what's that mean? Are we not going to remember the former things? Well we remember the cross on into the eternal state. Well we remember will Jesus still bear the scars in the eternal state? Will we remember Calvary? Bernie says yes. I think we will. Amen. Verse five, And he that sat upon the throne said, behold I make all things new, you get a new heart. If any man be in Christ, he is a new creation, the old things are passed away, all things are become new. Remember not the former things, new things of old, right? I press forth, we press forth. If we're stuck, no man having put in the hands of the plow looking back as fit for the kingdom of God, right? So to a certain degree we got to keep pressing toward the mark, moving forward. The devil wants us to look back, the devil wants us to fixate, be obsessed with the suffering that we've gone through, the things that we've experienced. And I've counseled a lot of people who can't move forward because they're still stuck in the past. They just cannot move forward. So on Sunday when I was speaking, I was trying to provide a contrast, a contrast of what my life was like before as a Christian and I asked the question, you want me to keep going? Because there's a whole lot more there but it doesn't need to come out. I don't need to dwell on it or go there. But if I use it as an illustration to try and in my testimony, this is where Kathy and I came from. And now at 20, we became Christians and we have a family and my girls are raised in a distinctly different kind of a family, a Christian family. And so I'm talking to Christians, Christian children, not worldly children, Christian children of how they're supposed to live, you know. And it can be very frustrating to watch Christian children, and I use the word they're spoiled, they're privileged, they've had a lot of advantages that we that lived in secular homes, ungodly homes, we didn't have those advantages. And I think in many cases they don't appreciate what they have. And so it can be so frustrating. So for me, I don't let my past, my mom, my upbringing, any of that stuff, I don't let it own me. I have I'm I'm a new creature in Christ Jesus. I don't have to be an alcoholic because my mom was. I don't have to go down that road of despair and heartache and and brokenness as a result of my own choices. I can choose the right path. I can choose to go the right way and even choosing the right way, God might still allow affliction. He may still allow things into my life that is a part of his sovereignty, but I don't want to be imprisoned. I don't want to be imprisoned by psychology that says because your mom is an alcoholic, you're an alcoholic, and you've got alcohol gene, you know, this gene, this physiological bent toward whatever. I don't buy that. I don't listen to If any man be in Christ, he's a new creation. The old things are passed away, all things have become new. And I'm born again. I've been born again, alright? And so I've got a new heart, a brand new heart. Amen. And I don't have to sin, I don't have to follow sin. I have victory over the world, the flesh and the devil as long as I yield to the Holy Spirit. There's a greater power working in my life now. There's no condemnation, right? To those that are in Christ Jesus who walk not after the flesh but after the spirit. The life of victory is the life of the spirit. Galatians says, If I walk in the spirit I won't fulfill the lust of the flesh, but if I sow to the flesh I'm gonna reap corruption. Reaping and sowing. God's not mocked. And so And he said unto me, Right, for these words are true and faithful. And he said unto me, It is done. I am the Alpha, the Omega, He's the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is a thirst of the fountain of the water of life freely. God has made you and I with a thirst in our heart. Those in hell are dissatisfied, they're still thirsty. The rich man that was across the gulf from Lazarus, he was begging Abraham to send Lazarus and touch Lazarus finger into the water to touch his tongue because he was tormented with thirst and Jesus met the woman in John four and what did he tell the woman that had five husbands trying to satisfy a thirst, a longing for love and companionship relationship, what did he tell her? Thirst no more. It's a spiritual thirst lady and that's when I was trying to teach concerning the wives. We acknowledge that we as husbands are inadequate in meeting that thirst. We try to meet their needs, their every need, but we point them to Jesus. Jesus is the only one that can satisfy that thirst, that spiritual hunger and thirst and so too for us as husbands. And so here He's letting us know that as He said in John seven thirty seven-thirty nine, the great day of the feast, He went in the temple and He said, If any man thirsts, let him come unto me and drink. He that believes in me out of his belly shall flow torrents of living water. Living water, right? Flow, be being filled with the Holy Spirit. Flow flow Flow flow. And so we acknowledge that that the Lord satisfies the deepest longing of my heart because according to Romans eight verse 20, all creation was subject unto a vanity or an emptiness. God made you with a God shaped hole in your heart. There's money, there's food, there's sex, there's power, fame, whatever. None of the stuff that the world offers that the devil can offer can fill that void, that emptiness in your life. And so Thomas, I'm gonna let you sing one line of a song. Okay, it's Mick Jagger, he can't find no Satisfaction. There it is. Now say it like you mean it. I can't find no satisfaction. I tried and I tried and I tried. Good job. Alright, I'll stop you there. Wake a sleeping giant. I thought he said, can't get no. Alright. Alright. I think he I think he captured I think he captured the plight of the world, the worldling, the rock star. Right? He captured it right there in that song. I mean, it came from his heart. All the rock and roll stuff, it just doesn't satisfy. So the fountain of water of life freely. He that overcometh, are you an overcomer? Yes. First John five, how do you overcome? That's a good one. There's another one. And we're not allowed in our own license and death. Okay, but also indicative of that action, first John five:four, who are they that overcome? Those who believe. That's it right there. He that overcomes shall inherit. So you're a new heir, you've got a new home, you got a new heart and you're a new heir you have an inheritance a new inheritance he that overcomes shall inherit all things not some things all things you're a joint heir with Jesus everything that he purchased everything he created everything that's any good at all belongs to him. He purchased it all, made it all, it all mugs to him and you are a joint heir meaning you share in all his inheritance that the father's given him. We're joint heirs with Christ. Boy that's exciting isn't it? I mean I used to be thinking myself as a pauper street person but I'm a plutocrat. The plutos, the riches that are ours in Christ Jesus. The unsearchable riches of Christ, right? So he that overcomes shall inherit all things and I will be his God. And there you go. If you have God, you have everything. You've got it all. If you don't have God, what's it profit a man to obtain the whole world to lose his own soul or what would a man give in exchange for his life? Right? What kind of value system do you have? I will be his God and he shall be my son. So there's relationship there. But the fearful and the unbelieving contrast, but the fearful perfect love casts out all fear. Boy, COVID sure exposed fear in a whole lot of people. Zombie fear, anxiety, xanax, weed, all sorts of coping mechanisms to cope with fear and anxiety. And we ain't seen nothing yet. So you and I as Christians, we're in Philippians four, be anxious for nothing, but in everything through prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your request be made known unto God and the peace of God that surpasses all understanding shall guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. The world can't purchase that kind of drug. They can't get that kind of therapy. They can't get that kind of psychological therapy to bring them that place of experiencing a peace that surpasses all understanding. Hey the doctor just said I'm gonna die, got stage four lung cancer but I feel great. I'm not afraid. I'm not afraid of death. I got a peace, I got a peace that's about all understanding that'll guard my heart and mind. So what do you do? You evaluate and you say, well, if the Lord's gonna take me, fasten the bodies, be present with the Lord. If this sickness is not unto death and he wants to heal me, then it's for the glory of God. God's chosen me to go through this stage four cancer for his kingdom and for his glory. My life's not my own. I've been purchased with the blood of Jesus. My name's written in the Lamb's Book of Life. You get away from the fear that the devil's trying to paralyze you with and by faith you begin to grab hold of the promises of God that nobody can take away. Right? And that's where we go. That's how we live. It's all about faith. All about faith. I was thinking of Kathy Knight today. I've basically this may be an exaggeration, but I was thinking about it. I guess I better not say it. It might not it might not you guys might not be able to understand it. I won't be able to convey it or communicate it properly. But basically, anything good that I have in my life comes from God. And and some things that are good in my life, even I can't ruin. I tend to ruin everything, sabotage everything. I can start a business and it's going real well and we're finally over the hump doing well, and I decide we're gonna do something else. We move from there and we pour our energy, time, our everything into into something else and then it all falls apart. And then we go from there and we persevere and then we reach a point of, alright, now we're we're living survival mode but it's okay, have peace, everything's fine. And and I thought, you know Lord, the only thing I haven't ruined that you've given me is my marriage with Kathy. Is it possible, Lord, that before I see you face to face that I'll ruin even that? Is that possible? No? It's been forty some years. It's not gonna So the Lord the Lord there's certain things in our life that even we can't ruin. Even though we tend to achieve and then fail, achieve and then fail, achieve and then fail. I love achieving, I love going, but then it seems like, well but in this case, my inheritance, all that Jesus purchased for me, nobody's gonna be able to take it away. And nobody's gonna be able to ruin my salvation, not even me. Not gonna ruin my salvation, not gonna ruin if it was dependent upon me, if my marriage was dependent upon me, I'd already have ruined it, right? It's it's ordained of God, it's a God thing and there's certain things in your life that are like that. And there's blessings all around you all the time, new blessings. And today I gotta spend time with Toby and with Ruthie several hours and walking around. Toby just points and I do what he tells me. I walk him, he points and every now and then he'll grunt and point and Ruthie just flat out uses her words, she orders me and you you look at that it's like is this a waste of time? Aren't I important? Don't I have a schedule? Don't I have to achieve something today? And you're like, no, God's given me this little window of time to spend with my little ones here, right? And I'm gonna do that. And all I gotta do is not go to the gym today and I'll have time to study, I'll study too. So I had to choose, Jim, play with Toby and Ruthie. I knew I had to study, That's a given. Get ready for that. So I chose to be flexible with the Holy Spirit to spend time with these little ones and I can make up the gym any day. So they burn us with fire. Let's see here. But the fearful and non believing and the abominable and murderers and fornicators and sorcerers, you ever feared you'd lose your salvation? You ever feared you'd ruin everything? You ever fear that you're gonna fall back into this? No, you have assurance of salvation, right? And you're in the palm of his hand and you haven't committed the unpardonable sin have you, which would be rejecting Jesus Christ. But the fearful and the unbelieving and the abominable and the murderers and fornicators and sorcerers and idolaters and all liars and all who have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone which is the second death. So born once die twice. Born twice die once, right? And this whole list here represents you and I without Christ. The only reason we're not in that list is because Jesus saved us from ourselves, from our sin. We're forgiven. That's not who we are. That's not who we are anymore. You must be born again, Jesus said in John three verse seven to Nicodemus, you must be born again. Verse nine, And there came unto me one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls full of the seven last plagues. So the last of the last of the bowls led to Armageddon and this that same angel that came to him and we've got a whole bunch of sevens going on, we've a bunch of twelves coming too, seven plagues and talk with me saying, come here and I will show thee the bride, the lamb's wife. So same thing like he said in chapter four verse one, come up here, come up here and I'll show you things which shall be hereafter. And John was caught up into heaven and the Lord showed him a time machine, right? Of the tribulation period of what was gonna happen. And here he's calling them up again as he's writing chapter twenty twenty one or twenty one and twenty two showing them the eternal state and come up here and I'll show thee the bride and the lamb's wife. So look at their home. Jesus came for them in John fourteen one through three, right? And I'll receive you, where I am there you may be also, right? And Jesus told us to pray always, it'd be kind of worthy to escape these things and to stand before the Son of Man, right? And you're standing there before the Son of Man in heaven, location, location, location. And he carried me away in the spirit. So like a time machine, right? You're not limited by time, now you're in eternity. He carried you in the spirit to a great and high mountain and showed me, you know, like Mountain Zion and showed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem. This is the bride's home, the home of the bride. I mean, when Jesus said, I go to prepare a place for you, you know, he made the earth in six days, right? Six twenty four hour days, you guys hit with that? Six twenty four days? Short time, right? You're not those that believe in theistic evolution, you? Big bangs and all that. Millions of years, billions of years. And so here we have it's been two thousand years. Not that God needs time, He doesn't need time. It can be half a second He can build it all. He's not inside of time, it's an eternity. So descending from heaven, from God, so it's suspended. This new Jerusalem is suspended. Ain't that exciting? And in the millennium, man, I'm gonna I wanna go there. I wanna travel there. I don't wanna have to wait till the end of the millennium if it's suspended there and I have access. I'm gonna go. Descending out of heaven from God. Having the glory of God and her light was like a stone most precious even like a jasper stone. So we're gonna come through a lot of precious stones here. And it's the kind of glory of God that brings the light into the city. No more need of the sun or the moon. So having the glory of God, the Shekinah glory of God and her light was like a stone most precious like a jasper. And the jasper stone is like a greenish hue and clear as crystal like a diamond and had a wall great and high and had 12 gates. So huge wall and this wall is like two sixteen feet high. Doesn't say it yet but it's kinda down below here and two sixteen feet down in verse 17. 16 feet high but you know, it speaks of protection but you don't need any protection. The Lord's there. And these gates, they're gonna remain open for access but these gates are fascinating, pearly gates. Who comes up with pearly gates? So like with the stone, most precious, you know, pearl comes from something alive, right? From an oyster, an irritant in an oyster. Right? This is gonna be one big oyster, let me tell you, big oyster. Having the glory of God and her light was like a stone most precious even like a jasper stone clears crystal and he had a wall great and high and had 12 gates and at the gates 12 angels. So these angels are the gatekeepers, the watchers, you and I are to be watching. And names written on the gates which are the names of the 12 tribes. So for all eternity, you think of replacement theology, these knuckleheads, the church has replaced Israel. For all eternity God has the names of the tribes of Israel on the gates. Nobody's ever gonna forget about Israel, the 12 tribes, right? That's exciting, isn't it? Of the children of Israel, on the East three gates, on the North three gates, on the South three gates and the West were three gates. Yeah. And so eternally remembering the nation of Israel never forgotten. Jesus said, this do in remembrance of me and quadrants of gates on the four quadrants and the wall of the city had 12 foundations and in them the names of the 12 apostles of the Lamb. The 12 apostles their names there in the foundations of the city. And this speaks of the permanence, the foundation of the church, Jesus the rock, right? He's the rock. And then upon him, the 12 apostles and upon the 12 apostles, lively stones, you and I, right? We're lively stones built upon that foundation that was there. Upon this rock I'll build my church and the gates of hell will not prevail against it. And how exciting that is. Now, in the 12 apostles, do you think Judas is one of those names? The original 12. So is it Matthias or the Apostle Paul? Paul. Bernie says Paul, an apostle born out of due time. But they cast they rolled some dice at the casino with Betty and it came on to Matthias. I don't know what that is. I never give up, do I? She feels sorry for me. He was mad and so angry about it. 12 apostles. I guess we'll find out. Right? Yeah. It's exciting. It's a good thought. And he that talked with me what were you gonna say? It's interesting. I said it would be interesting if it was Paul. Yeah, it would. Yeah. And he that talked with me had a golden reed to measure the city and the gates of it and its walls. And the city lieth four squares. So the city is gonna be a cube. Geometry, it's gonna be a cube and 1,500 miles square, 1,500 miles square, that's a big city. A fathom is 600 feet. So in the city it lies four square and the length is large as the breadth and it measured the city with the reed 12,000 furlongs, the length and the breadth and the height of it equal. It looks like over 3,000,000,000 cubic miles. Is that right? Two two million? Two two point five, I got 2,000,000. Two point five and three billion cubic. Alright. He's big. Big. Perfect square. Cube. And he measured the wall of it a hundred and forty and four cubits according to the measure of a man that is of the angel. So a cubit is 18 inches, it's your arm length and about 18 inches, two sixteen feet high. And the buildings of the wall of it was of jasper, which is a green color and the city was pure gold like clear glass. So the entire city is made of gold and gold is the precious mineral of deity, speaking of deity. That's why it's cringe worthy to see Trump doing all this gold statues of himself. It's just golf courses, Trump gold, know, changing the name of airports, everything is Trump, man. It's bizarre. It's creams worthy. Whosoever exalts himself shall be abased. Humble yourself in the sight the Lord and he'll lift you up, you know. I'm just waiting for lightning to strike, you know? Just like, oh god, I gotta get under somewhere. This is you remember in Acts 12 when Herod got up there and he gave this great oration and the people said, it's not the voice of a man. It's the voice of a god. You know? And then he and he was wearing a gold suit, a gold Italian Armani suit. And the sun was shining off of it. Now it could have been silver. You have to look there in x 12. Silver threads, gold threads, and the sun hitting it. And, man, I'd have my sunglasses on. It'd be so bright. And they said, this isn't the voice of a man. This is the voice of a god. And then what happened next? Cause he received that glory. God shares his glory with no man. And he received that adulation, that glory. What happened to him? Turn around. Eaten by worms, man. Eaten by worms. Oh, man. Oh, what a way to go. When I was watching The Wizard of Oz as a kid, I was so afraid of that witch and Dorothy just takes a bucket of water and throws it on her. She's, get you my pretty you know, and she's like, you know? Does she hear it like that? Those worms consumed by worms, man. And Nebuchadnezzar, is not this great Babylon which I have built in Daniel four? There's a 90 foot tall statue to Nebbe. Everyone's gonna have to bow down when the dulcimer and the saxophone and all the musical instruments are gonna have to bow down. In chapter three, Shadrach, Meshach, and Bednu aren't going for that. In chapter four, is this not great Babylon I've built? And for seven years he's out there eating grass. Lost his mind. Lost his faculties. The dew is coming on his head. Hair's growing out real long. Nails like Howard Hughes. He's just disfigured in eagle claws and seven years because he took God's glory unto himself. God shares his glory with no man. So be careful, guys. Be careful. Thomas, you gotta be real careful, man. And the building of the wall of it was jasper and the city was put gold like clear glass and the foundations of the wall of the city were garnished with all manner of precious stones. It's like Rob did with that cabinet. Did there all the precious stones and all that good tile work there and got some real artisans there. Gonna do it, do it right. So the first foundation was jasper, which is a clear diamond, I guess, kind of a blue hue some say or green. And the second sapphire, sapphire must be the blue. You ladies know with your jewels. No, Kathy doesn't have any jewels. The third Chalcedony, the fourth emerald, so green and the greenish blue and a blue. The fifth is Sardinox, I think is a red. The sixth Sardius, a blue red. The seventh, chrysolite, which is a yellow. The eighth burl which is a hue of green, a topaz. You guys know what a topaz is, would that be a yellow green? No, gold? No. And the tenth crystal are for us, golden and the eleventh jacinth, which is a blue and the twelfth amethyst, which is a purple. What color are your birthstones? No, don't care. No. Alright. And so a lot of really good colors. And the 12 gates were 12 pearls, each one of the gates was a one pearl and the street of the city was pure gold. So the gate, two sixteen foot high wall and there's a gate made of pearl one pearl and how are pearls made Mike? Out of an irritant. Sand gets into the oyster, right? And don't worry I'm never gonna try and eat a raw oyster, okay? I tried eggs, I'm not gonna do it, but they got this oyster inside the shell and then there's a piece of sand that gets in there and I think that they call like a chrysolite and it begins to cover it, cover it, cover it, cover it, cover it. And when we were kids, they had these Japanese women divers in Japanese gardens and they would dive down and get these little oysters. Right, Ken? They get these oysters and bring them out. You can buy them and all. Pretty cool. But how big of an oyster this would be? And an irritant, what kind of reminder every time you go through that gate, what kind of reminder would that be? So you can personalize it in that the suffering you had to go through and you realize the cross. It's a reminder of the cross, the suffering that Jesus went through because he said the kingdom of heaven was like a man that went and sold all that he had to purchase that pearl of great price. Right? Right? And so every time you go through that gate, you remember the beauty of this city, the beauty of the access that I have to the throne of God, it because of the pain that Jesus went through for me by going to the cross, right? And big oyster, big amount of suffering, big pearl, God's answer to your suffering through Calvary into the city and pure gold as it were transparent glass and I saw no temple in it for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it. Remember back in chapter one of John, tabernacled, dwelt among us and no need for us going to a building to meet with God, He's everywhere, He's omnipresent, He's the tabernacle. And Jesus said that He and the Father would make their abode with us, right? Their abode, they would be at home with us. And we see the apostate church of Laodicea in the present day age in which we're living. We have buildings. We have lots of buildings, but we've kicked Jesus out of his church, his church. So in Revelation three twenty, he's knocking on the door of his church in the last days church. And his church is saying they've kicked him out and he's knocking on to come back in for fellowship. And what are they saying? Vicky knows. I'm rich and increased with goods and in need of nothing. And what's the true evaluation of that church? See, they're self happy. Their prosperity is a hard thing for the church to go through. I'm rich and increased with good and needed nothing. I don't need you, Jesus. I got all the budgets and the money and all the programs and now I go to AI. AI gives me my sermons now. And I can just use a hologram with a hologram Jesus and have Jesus talk direct through this computer. Right? The image of the beast. I'm rich and increased with goods and needed nothing. And Jesus said, no, no, no, no, no, you're naked, poor, blind and miserable. That's your true condition. And I counsel you to buy, you know, eyes out of me so you can see clearly and all and let me in. And they've kicked them out and so there's no kicking out here. Jesus encompasses the whole city where two or more gathered in his name. There he is in the midst, right? So, the sense of authority, the authority that we have as the church is in his but he's always in our presence. Where can I go from your presence if I try to go to hell away from his presence? He's even there. He's everywhere. He's omnipresent. And so a great sense of his presence here. No need of the son, Almighty and the lamb in the temple of it and the city had no need of the Sun. Well how am I gonna stay tan? How am I gonna have a good tan? Neither of the moon. Not gonna be able to hell out the moon anymore to shine in it. So we're not gonna need the sun or the moon for light and the son of man, you and I are the light of the world. How are we the light of the world? We're like a moon. We reflect the sun, s o n, right? And so for the glory of God, the Shekinah glory of God did light it And the lamb is the lamp of it, omnipresent, the light of the world. I'm the light of the world. He that believes in me, Jesus said, shall not abide in darkness. I don't wanna live in darkness. I don't wanna live in outer darkness for all eternity, right? I don't wanna live away from the presence of God for all eternity. That's the punishment for rejecting him in this life. And the nations of them who are saved shall walk in the light of it. So you've got some of the Gentile nations so walk in the light of it. And the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honor into it. So they're gonna say, yeah, we're gonna bring our glory all that we are and every knee is gonna bow and every tongue is gonna confess that Jesus Christ is Lord and the gates of it shall not be shut. Those pearly gates aren't gonna be shut at all by day for there shall be no night there, no more night. So it's gonna be like going to Alaska, you're gonna have to sleep with a light out all the time. I guess no more sleeping with your new body, right? Don't have to sleep. Open light. And they shall bring the glory and the honor of the nations into it. So everyone, every knee will bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. The glory of the nations will pale in comparison the glory of the true living God. And there shall in no way enter into it anything that defiles neither that worketh abomination. So can you and I, can we develop some sort of a commune, some sort of a kibbutz that we could keep it all clean and nice on the inside and just nice Christian people and a wall to keep all the bad people out and is that possible, a kibbutz or something, you know? Sometimes people try to make a Mayflower compact and they like to come over from England on ships and come to the new land and make agreements and we're gonna do it right, you know, and all that. Well, in this place here it's God doing it and He's the one that's gonna keep all the bad stuff out. And there shall in no way enter into anything that defiles. Churches are always being infiltrated. We think of them as holy places, as safe places for your children and all that. The devil comes in like a snake and the enemy comes in at night and he plants tares among the wheat and goats among the sheep and we gotta be wise as serpent, gentle as doves, we gotta be discerning, we gotta be so discerning, I don't even know what the truth is anymore. With every every day, man, the stuff that's on social media, man, it's a bold faced lie. You gotta fact check, fact check, fact check, prove all things, hold fast to that which is good because the greatest weapon of the wicked one is deception. And the greatest weakness of the church is we don't know God's word. And without without knowing God's word, we're so easily deceived. And there shall in no way enter into it anything that defiles neither he that worketh abomination or makes a lie. Bunch of liars. The devil is the father of all lies, right? Devil can't enter in here. Antichrist can't enter in here. None of the of the wicked, but they who are written in the Lamb's Book of Life. So the exclusivity of those whose names are written in the Lamb's Book of Life. I used to have a jacket when I was younger, high school, and it said members only. Yep. Right? And we're not members of a church. People sometimes call us, how can I become a member? You don't join the church, you gotta be born into it. You gotta be born again. And so we let them know that and is your name written in the Lamb's Book of Life? And Calvary Chapel Bremerton doesn't keep a log of members, you know. You're free to come, you're free to go. Betty went to Calvary Polsboro this Sunday and she feels bad for me. And people people come and go all the time places they wanna go. If your name's written in the lens book of life, you're in the church, you're in the you're in the you're in his church, you know what I mean? We're just one little flock, one little flock off of the hole, you know? And and we're not building our kingdom, he's building his kingdom, and he's building his kingdom in our lives. It's the our lives are enriched and edified and built up and strengthened. And all that matters is not if you're a member of First Baptist, all that matters is your name written in the lamb's book of life. Access by the cross. There's your access. Alright. You must be born again. Right? The lamb slain before the foundation of the earth. Right? So he knew you before the foundation of the earth. Alright, let's pray. Father, thank you for a glimpse, a picture of what's up ahead, Lord. We're really excited about that new Jerusalem up there. I'd love to go see it and I could become famous if I could take people up there, Lord. And I just thank you that it's awaiting us, that you've gone to prepare a place for us, and if you've gone to prepare a place for us, that you're going to come again and receive us under yourself that where you are Lord there we may be also. So Lord we are so excited. We are so excited in knowing that this earth is not our home, that we're not in love with this world neither the things that are in the world for all that's in the world the lust of flesh lust the eye the pride of life is not of the father but of the world and the world perish and lust thereof but he that doeth the will of God is gonna abide forever and Lord we want to believe keep believing keep trusting and stay on that straight and narrow we pray Lord that we would finish well that you would bless mightily pour out your Holy Spirit upon us help us Lord give us open doors of utterance give us open doors opportunities to share the gospel with those who are perishing Lord bring our prodigals home soften their hearts it's time for all of us as family family of believers Lord to get right to be right to not have the schism and the division and the problems that seem to last for so long in Jesus name we pray amen
