We Here you go, pastor. Alright. Thanks. Okay. While you're turning there, for those of you who need a reminder, we have a Christmas party, Sunday night at 5PM at the Seventh Day Adventist School across the street from the church and after church on Sunday from twelve to five or whatever we'll be setting up and then 05:00 we should start and gonna have lots of food and just a lot of fun, some Christmas carols, and play a little bingo and give away gifts. Lot of gifts are gonna be there for the kids and family. So, just come ready to celebrate the birth of our lord and savior Jesus Christ and it may appear to be early in the month, the first Sunday, the, you know, the seventh but that just gives you all the rest of the month to keep celebrating his birth. Right? Amen. So there you go. Alrighty. Okay. Chapter two verse 18. Let's pray. Father, we thank you so much for the privilege and the blessing of studying this book and having you be our teacher. And Lord, as Genesis is the book of beginnings, shows us how things started. Lord, you've given us this book through John as you revealed unto him how things end, Lord. And during the times of the Gentiles, the times of man upon earth. And Lord, we thank you that the future looks really, really good, Lord, where Israel's back in the land, where you're ruling and reigning from Jerusalem as king of kings and lord of lords, where the apostles have a thrones there ruling and reigning, where David is a prince, and and, Lord, the curse is reversed. And for one thousand years on this planet, Lord, you ruling and reigning. And that we serving with you, Lord, we the church as a kingdom of priests. And so, Lord, we just thank you for the future that we have. So very exciting, our citizenship being in heaven, and we pray, Lord, that we And by that is like Let's say we study the church of Ephesus. What can we learn personally from the church of Ephesus? Mistake they made. They left their first love. They left their first love. And so as we look at the church of Ephesus, see that, and they're prosperous and all, but one thing I have against you, Jesus said, you've left your first love. And so as we go through here, we can allow the Holy Spirit to help us make the application of how some of these things, his indictment, his his exposing what was wrong. He's given an evaluation of these churches and anytime we start to give an evaluation, Paul said, let a man examine himself to see whether he's in the faith or not. And then if you start to examine yourself or you examine the times in which you're living, people don't like to be examined. People don't like to be exposed. The devil doesn't like to be exposed and then they'll say, judge not lest you be judged and here Jesus is, he's judging. He's making a judgment. He's looking at these churches. He's commending them for some things are doing well and then he's warning them, you know, repent of this, correct this, or I'm going to pull the witness. I'm going to pull the lampstand from you and you're going to wind up being a dead church and so so again, by way of review, chapter two and three, as John saw in chapter one verse 19, write the things which you have seen which was the vision of Jesus, write the things which are, which is the present tense, even the time we're living in, which is the church age. So the church age has gone on for almost two thousand years now and when we get to the book of Laodicea, the last of the seven, we're gonna see that that particular era, the lukewarm Laodicean Church, it depicts the apostate church at the end of the days. So, that's who we are is the apostate church at the end of the days and right before the lord's return and Paul warns of this in first Timothy chapter four verse one through three, and in second Timothy, and then also in second Thessalonians two, a great departure, a great falling away from the truth. And interesting, I wanna let you know ahead of time, the Nicolaitans, Nico is is dominating or ruling over the laity. Laodicea is the laity wanting to rule over the leadership. It's people rule. So when you see the Rick Warren's knocking on the doors of churches and asking people what they want in their church, Nowhere do you see that it's a democracy and and God's asking your opinion on what his church should be. Do you ever see that? Do you ever see that in the scripture? Where the Lord's saying, you know what? I I wanna be successful. I want a lot of people to join my church and upon this rock, you know, I wanna build this church, but I'm gonna need your help. Can you tell me how long worship should be? Can you tell me what kind of songs we should sing? Can you tell me how long the sermon should be? What what's the content of the sermon? What's the content of the teaching? Should we get should we incorporate some psychology? Should we make it more entertaining and fun? And should we have smoke signals and all these other sorts of things? You know, how can we be successful in getting the most people we can, the most nickel noses, you know, into the church? And so Church Incorporated, but we don't we don't go that route. We don't allow the culture to dictate what the church should be. So we look to the scripture and we mimic, we copy from Pentecost and we see in Acts two forty two that the basis of the churches they were in Acts two forty two. They were in the apostles' doctrine. Right? So the apostles' doctrine is the word of God that God revealed through the apostles. They were praying, they were worshiping, and they were fellowshipping. Right? So four main things. And the fifth one is evangelizing. That comprises what the church should be about, what the church should be doing. And the priority when you get to chapter six when when there was a contention over the distribution of goods, the distribution of food and clothing in Jerusalem for the those that were poor. You had the Hellenistic widow saying the Jewish widows are getting more than us and so the disciples, the apostles, they said we're gonna give ourselves to the word of God in prayer. The the importance of doctrine, the importance of the word of God was the primary function of the pastor. Jesus said to Peter, do you love me? Feed my sheep. Right? The apostle Paul said he was innocent of everyone's blood because for three years, night and day with tears, he gave them the full counsel of god. So, doctrine is essential. Jesus said, go and make disciples. A disciple is a learner. That's the main function of a church. That's why we're here right now. We're here at a Bible study. Now at the Bible study we're also like in Acts two forty two we're breaking bread, having a meal together. We're also we just worship the Lord in song. We prayed and we're experiencing fellowship. You're going from house to house. That's the function of the church. I don't need someone to tell me the new program that we can apply to make our church grow. This is we did a poll and this is what people want in a church, you know. Well, did you did you poll Jesus? Did you ask him what he wants? Because he's the head of his own church. So any pastor that compromises and as Paul said, there's a time where the people will not endure sound doctrine, but they shall heap to themselves teachers having itching ears. So they're going to pressure the teachers by laity, the Laodicean, those who get on the board, those who are in control and they they put pressure upon the teaching pastor to not teach very long. Now if you need to sleep during the service, I'm hearing that a really good place to sleep is in the nursery at the church there. So just go in the nursery after you've eaten your turkey. I'm having a hard time staying awake that tryptophan, but just go in there and snore away, know, nobody will care. But so anyway, we we wanna teach the word of God and hopefully we prepared our hearts ahead of time. I'm excited how zealous and excited you guys are to come out on a night like tonight and drive through that darkness and even if it's raining, even whatever, you know, and you wanna you wanna study the bible, you're here. And and that's exciting to me. And so we're not gonna go around the room and ask for your vote on what it says or what it means. We're gonna look at objective truth, not subjective. We're gonna look at what the word means. What's what is this saying? And we use the scripture to interpret the scripture. Not my opinion, your opinion. When something's vague or unclear, we'll say, well, it could be this, it could be that, not sure. Gotta do some more study on that. But most of what we study is real clear of what it means. And so now we're dealing with the church of Thyatira. Thyatira is the church if we look prophetically over the church age from 600 to fifteen seventeen. Now prior to this in 03/13, Constantine nationalized the church. And when the church in the state began to yoke up and become one entity so to speak, you had a flood of a lot of unbelievers that came into the church and the church was corrupted because of this. And we saw with Pergamos that it was the place where Satan's throne dwells, you know, and all that. And so great corruption developing. And then we come to the the area of Thyatira. Now we're introduced to Thyatira in Acts chapter 16 by a woman, a businesswoman named Lydia. Lydia was a seller of purple and the apostle Paul and Silas were in the area of Macedonia or Philippi and they went to the riverside on the Sabbath day. You can see in Acts sixteen fourteen and fifteen and there was a woman there named Lydia and they met this woman named Lydia and she's here in the gospel, you know, presented, and she's a traveling business person. In Thyatira, there's a trader trading guild, if you will, And one of their main things that they would sell was cloth in the color of purple because they were prolific with dye. They had a purple dye that they used to dye the fabric. And so so if Judy Bauman's listening, you know, this is where she bought her her purple fabric to make these wonderful dresses and stuff and so, Lydia begged the Lydia wanted to be baptized. She was baptized at the river and then she begged the apostle Paul and Silas to come stay at her house. So, she's from Thyretira, probably had a business and a house in Thyretira but she had another home as she's traveling in the area of Macedonia and so, that's a background of Thyatira. It's the smallest of the gilded cities as far as marketing and such, but this particular church Thyatira, the name means continuous sacrifice and this church represents the Roman Catholic church and what doctrine does the Roman Catholic church about a continuous sacrifice? False doctrine. The mass. They have a mass every day. The constant sacrifice and we're gonna see that there's 10 false doctrines that come out of the Catholic church as a result of this darkness that preceded it and this is known as the dark ages. And so, he says and under the angel of the church in Thyatira, things saith the son of god who has his eyes like a flame of fire and his feet like fine bronze. So, in each of these churches, the description, we reach back to chapter one for a picture of Jesus and he's describing himself out of out of chapter one there and verse fourteen and fifteen. And so first of all the one with the eyes like a flame of fire. We've been talking lot about the beast system and boy it's just exploding in growth, the technocracy, the technology. And when we look at his eyes like a flame of fire, he can see everything. There's nothing hidden from his eyes. He can see within you. Human beings can't do that. And they can't do it even if they put a chip in you. Now some of them are trying to tell you that with these chips they have and stuff, they're gonna be able to read your mind and all that kind of stuff. And I don't know on what level they'll be able to do that, but everything done in secret one day is gonna be shouted from the rooftop. Right? And the lord knows everything. He's omniscient. He knows everything. He can see everything. The eyes of the lord, they run to and fro throughout the whole earth to show himself strong on behalf of a man or a woman whose heart is perfect toward god and so the lord sees everything even a little sparrow Jesus talked about that falls to the ground doesn't go unnoticed you know to your heavenly father and your your hairs on your head are all numbered he knows the actual number he knows everything about you and his good thoughts concerning you, the Psalmist said, are numbered more than all the grains of sand or all the stars within the heaven. Those are his not bad thoughts. His good thoughts concerning you. He knows you really well. He knows everything about you and so it would behoove us to not try and lie to him, to not try and hide things, to not try and cover things, but instead to confess if the Holy Spirit's convicting us. Just agree with the holy to confess means to agree with the Holy Spirit. We're not asking you to go to a confessional. We're not asking you to go to a church with a hologram in Europe now that people are going in and to AI and confessing their sins to an AI, you know, stature or whatever. Use us in the quiet of your heart. You pray and you express to the Lord, hey Lord, I agree and that was wrong and Lord please restore fellowship. I want I want my fellowship restored with you. And so David tried to cover his sin and and he cried out when Nathan the prophet came to say you're the man. David cried out, you know, restoring to me the joy of my salvation. I've been drying up inside trying to cover my sin. Whosoever tries to cover his sin is not going to prosper. You're acting like God doesn't see. So Moses looks to the left, looks to the right, he kills the Egyptian, he didn't look up. God's watching, God sees everything and so our sin will find us out. And the other the other aspect of this and I learned this from a pastor Chuck Junior, his son one time was impacted with the idea with the truth that God sees everything and the little guy was like, does he really see everything? Know, like, I've done some bad things, you know? And his dad was so smart and let him know, yes, he loves you so much he can't take his eyes off of you. He sees everything. So like a flame of fire and his feet as like fine bronze. And so speaking of judgment, he's going to be the judge but also strength and purity. Bronze is a pure metal and very strong and so Jesus has feet like fine bronze and we're gonna see that Nebbe's the end of the age, Nebbe's feet of that statue was iron mixed with clay and people are making a lot of predictions about what what does that mean, the iron mixed with clay? Is that transhumanism? And what's that mean? So I know your works and your love and your service and your faith and your patience and thy works and thy last be more than the first. So you're increasing in works. You're increasing in doing good deeds, good things. You're doing a lot of really good things for the community and we commend churches with that understanding of our mission. And our doctrine is to teach, we're to make disciples, but we're also not to just love in word but in deed and in truth. And so we see Jesus feeding the 5,000, not counting women and children. We see Jesus alleviating suffering. We see the early church sharing and that's part of the word communion or fellowship speaks of sharing. So in Acts six we saw them sharing as Barnabas sold a piece of land and brought it and laid it at the disciples' feet. Part of the proceeds of that went to not buy big buildings, but it went to buy food in a time of a dearth, in a time of a phantom, and so that people had food to eat. And so the Catholic church has been prolific in that way of trying to minister under the poor all over the world. And Jesus says, I know your works, I know your love, I know your service, I know your faith and your patience and the works and and the last to be more than the first and so you're increasing. You're increasing as time goes on. You're not stagnant. You're not going backwards. You're increasing. And so your deeds, your external deeds, these are good things that you're doing. Notwithstanding, so I see that here's the good part, the commendation notwithstanding there's what we would call punishable allowances some things that you allowed into the church that need to be cleaned up need to be corrected and this is a pretty serious one here he says notwithstanding I have a few things against thee because thou allows that woman, that woman Jezebel. Now, how many of you parents would like to name your daughter Jezebel? Anybody? Nope. How about Judas? My grandson's Judah, which means praise. How about Adolf? Well, maybe. How about Hitler? No. So there's certain names throughout throughout history that, you know, that we recognize somebody ruined that name. Now Jezebel is a Sidonian princess of the Phoenicians and so when the nation of Israel divided the 10 tribes in the North operating out of Samaria and the two tribes in the South Judah and Benjamin out of Jerusalem, one of the things that happened is Jeroboam who took over when there was this gulf, this division that took place after Absalom actually after Solomon died. Solomon died and he put Rehoboam in charge, and Rehoboam was just horrible. And he listened to the young bucks and he raised taxes and raised everything. The elder guys came to Rehoboam and said, hey. Your dad was you know, he's a big builder man, and and it was hard. If you kinda lax things a little bit, you'll win the hearts of the people and all. And the young bucks came and said, no. Make it twice as hard. You know? Well, it caused a huge division, and I hope America doesn't split in two or three or four. But Jeroboam, he took the split that went toward the north and he had the 10 northern tribes and he knew that the distance to Jerusalem to participate in the feast was such that he would lose the allegiance of the people if they during the times of various holidays if they traveled to Jerusalem he knew that he'd lose them, that religion is the opiate of the people. So what he did is he followed an example of Aaron and he made a golden calf and he put two golden calves actually and put one in Bethel and forget the other place but it was it was strategically placed so that the the 10 northern tribes didn't have very far to go. So, it's idolatry. You remember when Aaron did it, he lied to Moses and he'd said it just just popped out. The people the people had their gold, their earrings, all that kind of stuff. And, you know, we we melted it and it just these calves popped out. This calve popped out. Well, the calf represented e Egypt and it was idolatrous that they would do that. And God had Moses grind it up to little gold powder, made all of them drink it and stuff. So it should have been pretty clear that God with the 10 commandments, you know, you're not gonna have any gods before them and you're not gonna commit idolatry. You're not gonna have any graven images or idols in place of your relationship with God. So Jezebel historically in first Kings sixteen thirty one through 33 what she did when a leader of Israel like for instance before this happened this trend toward idolatry was introduced by Solomon. Solomon was told that he was not to have 300 wives and 700 concubines. He wasn't supposed to multiply wives and he wasn't supposed to multiply horses, you know, horses representing your your trust in your own military and all. And so what he did is he had a lot of foreign wives. And when you have a foreign wife from other countries, it may be a political move to solidify the peace that you want, you know, in the regional. But what happens is that Solomon began to build temples. He began to build pagan temples all over Israel for his foreign wives who introduced the nation to idolatrous belief systems. So then Jeroboam and Reboam come along and now Jeroboam's got the two golden calves and and then Ahab marries the Sidonian princess named Jezebel and and she introduces the nation to Baalism in Astrath and you remember how Elijah executed four fifty prophets of Baal. Well, Jezebel had 400 other prophetesses and these were fertility goddesses. Fertility meaning sexual stimulation in this in this pagan style of worship. And then unwanted pregnancies and then babies that are born They would bring them out into the grove areas, into these temple areas, and these people would get in these big orgies. And there was also temple priestesses, women and men, that would come from these temples, and they would offer themselves sexually, and they would have a, you know, like religious rights mixed in with it, and then there would be unwanted pregnancies. And and with these unwanted pregnancies, they would take these babies and they would heat the statue of Baal up with his arms outstretched. And even Manasseh offered some of his own sons on to Baal, in Psalm 106 you can see. And and they would get white hot, red hot arms, and then you take these babies and you set them on the arms of the of the image of Baal and of course the baby's just screaming. So now the worshippers all around there, they scream even louder, chanting even louder to try and drown out the sound, you know, of these babies being, you know, aborted, abortion mill, murdering murdering of babies because of sexual immorality. And so that's what Jezebel was introducing at the time. So at this time here, the Lord's using the name Jezebel to describe the idolatrous practices of the Catholic church. And and so to call herself a prophetess. Now there's some good prophetesses in Exodus fifteen twenty we got Miriam, the sister of Moses and Aaron. She's a prophetess. In the book of Judges chapter four verse four we got Deborah. She's a prophetess. In Luka two thirty six we got Anna who was there with Simeon waiting for the consolation of Israel waiting for the lord Jesus and Mary and Joseph walk in one day. Whoo. Look at this baby. Wanna dedicate him. And then I love Philip, evangelist, one of the early deacons. How how many prophetesses did he have? Three. Was it three? Four. Oh, four. Four prophetesses and and they were which means they speak forth the word of god and so these are these are holy women that speak forth God's word. So if we had a ladies bible study here there would be a prophetess, somebody that speaks forth the word of God, may not have the office of a prophet but a teacher of the bible unto women and to children because we know that unless there's an apostasy, we don't raise up a woman to teach men and women like in the case of Deborah who became one of the judges, but she did it reluctantly because the men were wimping out and so she was raised up in that role. And you'll see that that happen throughout church history when the men abdicate their responsibility to be spiritual leaders. So what happens is you you open up the door for a lot of heresy and a lot of false teaching. So to teach my servants to commit fornication and to eat things sacrificed unto idols. So what Jezebel's doing is introducing idolatry in the Catholic church. Now the Catholic church never been guilty of idolatry, have they? They don't have any idols or images that the people worship. Right? Indulgences. Yeah. Indulgences and all. And and what about mariolatry, you know, worshiping of Mary, that sort of thing. So I gave her space to repent. I love that. The lord gives the Catholic church space to repent. Give you a time to repent. He gives Rick time to repent. Doesn't just slam me to the ground right away. Now, Ananias and Savira, they didn't have much space to repent. It's like over, right? Boom. So sometimes it's quick. Sometimes it sometimes the Lord gives the city of Nineveh space to repent. He got forty days to repent. And then he gives them a reprieve of over a hundred years before he finally judges them. And had they not backslid again he wouldn't have had to judge them. So and I gave her space to repent of her fornication. So the fornication is a is a spiritual immorality. It's idolatry. And and she repented not. And that's a bummer. That's a bummer when the Lord reveals to you what your sin is, gives you space to repent, and she repented not. That means the Lord's gonna have to use the stick. That means he's gonna have to make it a little you know, like in Hebrews 12, whom the Lord loves, he chastens and he scourges every son or daughter. Right? And and so train up a child the way you should go. When they're old, they won't depart from Spare the rod, spoil the child. Do ever hear that? Yeah. And and so spanking, the lord spanks us. Behold, I will cast her into a bed and then that commit adultery with her into great tribulation. Now, does the church go through the tribulation? No. This church does. Yeah. Oh, this church. This church is going through it. Do you see that? Yeah. Behold, the castor into a bed and then they commit adultery with her. Into great tribulation except they repent of theirs of their deeds. So, the rapture takes place, Catholic church, much of the Catholic church is a false church filled with a lot of unbelievers, lot of dogma and stuff, not not all of them. There's going be a remnant here that he talks about but the whole Catholic systems can be a part of later we're going to see of the religious system of the last days, right? The apostate religious system. And so we're gonna see them go through the great tribulation and much of the persecution against the tribulation saints that refused the mark of the beast is going to come from this church that's in the great tribulation period along with other religious groups a part of the one world ecumenical or one world religious system And you can see the Pope wanting to be in charge of it, right? You can see him wanting to be the one that's in charge of this one world religious system. And I will kill her children with death and all the churches shall know that I am he who searches the minds and hearts. Look at that omniscience. He sees everything. He knows everything. He searches the mind and the hearts. You can't hide anything from this God. Now the devil, he doesn't have that that omniscience. He doesn't have that ability to know everything about you. So the devil, when Judas was in the room and the Lord Jesus is having the the last supper and he said he that takes the sup and puts it in the things the one that's gonna betray me. And then he and then says, and the devil entered into Judas and then Jesus said that what you're gonna do go and do it quickly. It's the hour of darkness. So Judas left the room and then Jesus began to talk to the 11 that were there. Some very intimate things he began to say to them. And the devil has to can only be in one place at one time and has to listen to learn. So if you've got a big mouth and you like to talk, the devil has demons listening to you, watching you, studying you. But the devil cannot get in your head nor into your heart. So sometimes you might wanna pray silently. I'm just kidding. I'm just I'm just kidding. Because there's angels there too. Right? And the Holy Spirit's there to help us. So but the Lord, he knows he knows everything. He's the Alpha, the Omega, the first letter of the alphabet, the last letter of the alphabet. He's with us every age he's been with his church. Long with you always even to the end of the age. And so you're not gonna be able to make excuses. You're not gonna be able to say I was playing four d chess. You're not gonna be able to say, well, I I just, you know, I I was I was a spy. That's it. I was a spy. I went to Epstein Island, but I was just a spy. I was working for the Mossad and the CIA, you know. You can come up with so many lies right now, but the Lord knows where the bodies are buried. He knows I mean, I I it would be so strange if we were there and the Lord were to judge those that killed JFK and the Lord were to show it on a big screen. This is this is the people that did it. This is how they did it. And you watch the whole thing in motion. All their all their backroom topics, all theirs you know, and and they came up the CIA came up with a phrase to make people that question the official narrative. Do you remember what that phrase was? A conspiracy theorist. Right? Now that's exactly what they were doing. They were conspiring to kill. Right? The same way conspiring to kill Jesus. So they wanna mock you if you question the official story. If you don't trust your government, you know, what we're telling you in the media, then you're either for us or against us, Bush said when nine eleven happened, you know. And and that's a big pressure upon people to not think anymore. So I'd rather listen to the Lord and ask the Lord to give me discernment lest I follow false prophets. So so and he who searches the minds and the hearts and I will give unto every one of you according to your works. So whatsoever man sows that shall he also reap. God put his heart upon David a man after God's own heart and so during the tribulation period one quarter Revelation six:eight one quarter of the world dies, I'll kill your children, your people, the whole thing and then another third dies so 50% of 8,000,000,000, 4,000,000,000 people die in a very short period of time in the great tribulation period. And I'm going to give you according to your works. So, I'm not getting according to my works. Why is that? Because of the law of god. That's a general statement. How? Because he he paid for it. He's patient. So this is a this is in a negative sense. Right? Your hearts and I will give unto everyone of you according to your works. So your idolatry and all, there's a day of your sin will find you out there. The weight in the balance and found wanting with Belteshazzar. So when you think in acts one or excuse me, Revelation 20 at the great white throne judgment, the wicked dead are bodily raised from the dead and they're brought before God's throne and they have to give account of what they did while they're in their body whether good or bad. Right? They're gonna be judged according to their works. And Luke 12 says that some are gonna be beat with few stripes and some with many stripes. So it's a graduated punishment where the worm dieth not and the fire is never quenched. Knowledge brings responsibility. You and I with the understanding and the knowledge that we have, everybody's always worried about that guy that never heard the gospel before, but you and I have heard the gospel and people in our churches have heard the gospel and there's gonna be people that stand before the lord and they're gonna give an account what they did with that information. Some people, they bury the investment. They just bury it. They don't reinvest in the lives of others. Right? And so he said, away from me, you know, and the one that buried it and it's gonna go to a place where there's weeping and gnashing of teeth, Gehenna, the lake of fire. And so you and I, the reason we say that we're not gonna have to answer for our works is because all of our sins were placed upon Jesus Christ and he did the work. He did the work to pay for our sins and he said it is finished. The work is complete. It's done. It's paid in full with my blood so that god's plan of redemption, his work of redemption And so we receive a justification just as if we've never sinned, we receive righteousness as a free gift by grace through faith alone in Jesus Christ. That's why you and I don't have to fear a fearful looking to of judgment. Now we do have what's called the Bema Seat Judgment. Every man must appear before the judgment seat of Christ. But the Bema Seat is for reward. The Lord is going to reward us the works that we did that were good. So, you can kind of see this in Hebrews 11 where the lord leaves out all of the sinful things that David and Abraham and everybody did and he only accentuates and points out the things that pleased him that they did by faith and so at the marriage ceremony, the bride of Christ at the father's house when we're there, the lord's going to lavish gifts upon us, you know. You're going to have a crown of life. You're gonna have a crown of glory, a crown of rejoicing, a crown of righteousness, and an eternal crown that never fades away. Whereas the world, they work for a celery wreath. They work for a perishable crown that perishes. We have an imperishable crown that never fades away. So, god is gifting, god's blessing, god's bestowing upon his bride much like Eliezer when he went to go find Rebecca for Isaac. Isaac being a type of god the son and Rebecca being a type of the church and Elijah being a type of the Holy Spirit when he went and he met Rebecca, he lavished her with a nose ring and bracelets and gifts and the Holy Spirit marks us out and and provides the gifting that we need and that the Lord wants to lavish upon us. And so he says I'll put I'll give even unto everyone according to your works but unto you I say and unto the rest in Thyatira as many as have not this doctrine and who have not known the depths of Satan as they speak I will put upon you no other burden. So there's a remnant within this church. So when people say to me Catholics aren't saved. I say some of them are. Some of them are. If they believe that Jesus was crucified, buried, raised from the dead and they believe by grace through faith that they're saved, their name is written in Lamb's Book of Life. Now the Catholic dogma, the Catholic doctrine doesn't lead someone to get saved but even my grandma when I was at the Lutheran Church was an offshoot, very similar rituals and things. They they bring forth the the basics of salvation so that these people you know hear the gospel in that in that regard. But the problem with the Catholics they had so much dogma, so much false stuff that and they don't teach the Bible that it keeps so many of their people away where the people listen to the Pope and they listen to the priest but they don't listen to Jesus. They don't learn the word of God. Catholics forbid or they had in the past forbid their people to have a Bible and read a Bible, the priest will tell you what it means, you know. And so that's that Nicolaitan, that's that the leadership dominating or shepherding over the shepherd movement where they lording, that's the word I was looking for, lording over the people. And we know that there's one mediator between God and man, the man Christ Jesus. But that which you have already know the depths of Satan so these guys are into the this is something I would recommend knowing the depths of Satan. People talk about the Vatican and stuff that's there and the Nephilim and you know the occult practices of the Roman Catholic Church and all delving into these things and that's not not something I really want to dig into. But that which you have already hold fast. So hold fast onto your faith. Keep your faith. Keep your relationship till I come. And so and so I am coming again. You keep it. You you have patience, endurance, hold fast that which you have till I come. It's your faith you're gonna hold on to. And he that overcomes and who are they that overcome? Those who believe in first John five, the ones that believe are they that overcome. And he that overcomes and keepeth my works under the end to him will I have give power over the nations. So this remnant is gonna be saved, preserved, and go into the millennium. And they're gonna be able to serve the Lord with the power that he gives. And he shall rule them with a rod of iron. So there's Psalm two, the Lord Jesus is gonna rule with a rod of iron. As the vessels of the potter shall they be broken to shivers even as I received of my father. So, oh how the heathen rage and imagine a vain thing against the lord and against his anointing but the god's going to hold them in derision and I'll give him the morning star. So, the remnant's gonna get Jesus. He's the morning star in Revelation twenty two sixteen. And he has an ear he that has an ear, let him hear what the spirit is saying unto the churches. So 10 false doctrines that came out of this idolatrous practice through Jezebel, the Jezebel teaching. Number one, justification by works. That you can be justified by working your way to heaven, doing good things. And the Lord commenced the good works as fruit but not in place of faith. So faith without works is dead but it's the faith that's first and then the fruit of that faith should be works. Meaning you should should desire to spread God's love. To share the gospel, to alleviate suffering. And so justification by works that you can work your way to heaven, you can be a good Catholic and make it to heaven. And then a baptismal regeneration. So when I was a baby, my mom took me to the Catholic church and they baptized me. And that was a false doctrine that said that by being baptized I was a part of the Catholic church now and that I was saved. And so baptismal regeneration, and even as you're older, if you want to become a part of the Catholic church, have you been baptized yet? Well, we'll baptize you and you'll experience the baptismal regeneration. The doctrine of celibacy lends itself to pedophilia, lends itself to pregnant nuns, and again, unwanted babies. All over these convents and stuff they find bodies of little babies. That's right. All over the world pedophilia, these men and women I guess, but the men, the priests and all the hierarchy, they are not called of God to be celibate. Right. And Jesus said some are made eunuchs, you know, some have the gift of being a eunuch, some are made eunuchs by men. Paul said, if you you have the gift in first Corinthians seven, it's great but if you don't, if you're burning with passion, get married. Amen. So, God said in the garden, it's not good for man to be alone and so most of us, most of us are designed to be married and to procreate and have kids and stuff. And so but this forced celibacy upon the priests and upon the women that that served as nuns is not a biblical concept. And so the worship of images, all the different pictures and worship images that they have, images of Mary and people seeing Mary and people seeing different things on the side of a building and stuff. False doctrine of confessionalism. When I made my first communion, you know, I learned some prayers. Hail Mary, full of grace, the lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women. Blessed is the fruit of the womb, your womb, the lord Jesus, you know. That was just Tuesday night catechism, you know. And so I had to learn all these prayers and then and then you go and there's a screen there and there's a guy behind it and and you say, father, I have sinned and alright, my son, you know, what'd you what'd you what'd you do? And I've watched this in movies a lot so I know the words and you know, so you see blue bloods, know, guys always going in there. Drive me crazy. So you go in there and you confess what you've done, and then now he says, goes out there and say four Hail Marys, five Our Fathers, you know, blah blah blah. Get on your knees and say these things, and and then they slap you with some holy water and all that kind of stuff. So confessionalism, and we can go directly to God. We don't have to go through any man. There's one mediator between god and man, the man Christ Jesus. So, and Jesus ever lives to make intercession for us. He's praying for us. So, we just confess right to the lord. I don't have to go through some priest, you know, or pastor, whatever. And then the doctrine of purgatory. People don't like to hear that loved ones or people are going to hell, so the Catholics designed a place called purgatory. And purgatory, you can see in Luke 16 a teaching that refutes purgatory where the rich man Lazarus died and they went into Hades or Sheol and it was a double compartment. It was a place one side was called Abraham's bosom, a place of comfort. Jesus told the thief on the cross next to him, this day you'll be with me in paradise. So he went to a place of comfort because of faith in Jesus Christ. The rich man who was not a believer was on the other side of this great gulf that was between and and Jesus named names. This isn't just a parable. He's naming a real a real place and the rich man was in grievous torment. He cried out and he recognized Abraham, right? And he says, send Lazarus. He's still ordering Lazarus, right? Rich guys like to order everybody and send Lazarus over to dip his hand, finger into the water to touch my tongue because I'm in grievous torment and and the lord explained that no, there's a great gulf between us and you can't come over here and we can't go over there and and so the rich man said, send somebody back to tell my brothers. Right. And he said, they have Moses and the prophets. Now check this out. Moses and the prophets, they've got the Old Testament. Right. They have Moses and the prophets. If they believe not Moses and the prophets, neither will they believe if one be raised from the dead. Because they don't believe in Jesus. He raised himself from the dead, right? So they're not gonna believe. And so now in Ephesians four when Jesus was crucified, it says in Ephesians four that before he ascended he descended into lower parts of the earth and he emptied out the place where Abraham's bosom was because they were awaiting the crucifixion so that their sins would actually be paid for so that then they could be in heaven best in the body, be present with the Lord. But the wicked dead are still accumulating in this place called Hades or Sheol awaiting the wicked resurrection, the resurrection of the wicked in Revelation 20 where they're resurrected and they appear before the great white throne judgment. And then then they are sentenced to the place that the antichrist and the false prophet and the eventual abode of the devil after a thousand years. He's in the abyss now or he will be in the abyss, but he's loosed and it's called the Lake Of Fire. So outside of Jerusalem was a place called Gehinnom. Hinnom, the Valley Of Hinnom. And Hinnom was a perpetual burning dump, a a burning place of refuse. If you had a dead donkey, you'd throw the dead donkey there. But a perpetual place, a burning. And that's why it was so cool to see Nicodemus and Joseph of Arimathea go to Pontius Pilate and beg the body of Jesus because had they not, the wicked ones would have taken him and thrown him and hid him. That that that bad place. Right? And so we have the not a bone of him was broken, preserved him, went to the tomb of Joseph Of Arathea, raised himself from the dead three days later. He's seen for forty days by people and some 500 at one time. And so and then at Pentecost, 50 he told them to wait to tarry in Jerusalem till the promise of my father. They waited ten more days. And on the fiftieth day on Pente, fiftieth day, the holy spirit was poured out upon the 120 that are waiting in the upper room, and and the church began to explode and all. And so we have no fear of death. To bask in the bodies, be present with the Lord. We're not going to purgatory. And part of the whole purgatory thing was is the Catholic church could make money off you Right. Because you could pay them and they'll pray your your family members out of purgatory to get them into heaven. If they were bad people and they didn't believe in Jesus, you could pray them out of purgatory. You could pay the priest. And another false doctrine is transubstantiation. And this is where at the mass, you would have the bread and the cup. And if you've ever been to a Catholic church and made your first communion, they'll let you partake with the wafer, this little tiny wafer thingy. But you're not allowed to touch the wine or the grape juice and all because you might spill the actual blood of Jesus. Yeah. So they think that it's the actual bread, the body, and the actual blood of Jesus that they've generated somehow because they're so holy. And it's a false doctrine of transubstantiation. And that's why those priests were always so drunk drinking all that wine. And and then they had indulgences where you could pay the priest, you could pay the church to go and indulge yourself in sin. You know, I wanna I wanna go commit adultery, and I wanna be but I don't wanna have to pay the price of it, you know. So pay these guys for a reduced sentence, you know. And, boy, think of the racket these guys had, man. Crazy. And then they had a false doctrine of penance. And penance would be flaglation where you beat yourself. And you're gonna you're gonna beat yourself and whip yourself and and deny yourself certain things to try and pay for your own sins, you know. And then the false doctrine of mariolatry, the worship of Mary, a co redemptress, you know. So this is the dogma that many many people are caught up in within the the Catholic church. And boy, we got more time to go into chapter three now. Okay. So some of you have lived through that stuff. And then like Nicodemus, who is a ruler who knew Judaism, right, you come to Jesus by night, Nick at night, and and he calls you a good master. What must I do? And he says you gotta be born again. And Nicodemus is thinking in the natural, how can a man that is old be born a second time? Jesus said you need to be born of the water and the spirit. The natural birth is the water breaking into the water and then the spiritual birth is being born again. Your body and soul, you need to be body, soul and spirit. So many of us that were Catholics, we were in this religious dogma and then the light bulb went on one night where we realized we needed to be born again. Amen. And we've received Christ in our heart and life and now for the first time, we had ears to hear. That little Catholic stint that I had as a little guy, I got the red coat and the patch on it and I got the little book I had to read and little bible and I had the whole suit that I had to wear and my aunts and uncles and everybody came and gave me money and cards and all that. That part was cool. Part that bothered me is it was a Tuesday night, the catechism, and it kept me from my baseball practice. It really made me mad. And but I reached the place where that day came and I got to have do my first communion. I didn't know Jesus. Nobody ever ever taught me the gospel. I didn't have a clue. I was clueless. Clueless. I learned some religious things, but I was completely clueless. And Kathy grew up in Saint Bonaventure Track, which was Saint Bonaventure was a Catholic track, and the neighbors across the street and all around here, they're all Catholics. They all go to mass. They all go to church on Sunday night, and Kathy would go with them and stuff. And they were doing the same things that Kathy did as a Methodist unbeliever that she was doing to all her friends. There was no difference. Just they went to mass. They went to Catholic church, but they smoked hash. They drank alcohol and got drunk. Their parents were drunks. They, you know, pretty good people, pretty good moral people. But, you know, you'd go over to the Saint Bonaventure fair that they have every year to raise money on their property, and you got the all the rides and attractions and all. And the priest be going by smoking and drinking and, you know, no nothing different than any other parent or anybody else. So Kathy had always mystified Kathy, like, I thought these people are holy people. I thought they're better than us. You know, I thought they're and and then she met the first holy guy she ever met when she met me. That's really shudder. Alright. So, he that has an ear to hear, let him hear what the spirit is saying under the churches And so the remnant gets the morning star. They get Jesus. They can come the same way as any protestant, you know. They it's a relationship with Jesus Christ. And the natural man understands not the things of God neither can he know them. They're spiritually discerned. And so eyes not seen or ear heard neither has it entered in the hearts of men the things which God has prepared for them that love him but God has revealed them unto us by his spirit. John the revelator. This revelation is a spiritual revelation and god has given you the capacity to understand what he's saying. Amen. So, why would the churches not teach this revelation? Right? Sad. The apocalypse. Alright. Chapter three. Now we come to the Reformation. And there was a priest who was also a lawyer named Martin Luther. And and so this time goes from 1517 to the seventeen hundreds, the Protestant Reformation. And the name Sardis means those escaping. And so Luther went up to the Wittenberg door and he wrote his five hundred and ninety five thesis on the Wittenberg door and nailed it to the door and and he was a marked man. They were trying to get him to shut up and here I stand, I can do no other, you know, some of his famous things that he said. And so he was basically up on his knees going up the Sistine Chapel on his knees on the stairway and the Lord spoke to him and said the just shall live by faith. So that's out of Habakkuk Habakkuk, the book of Habakkuk, the just shall live by faith. Then we see the Apostle Paul is saying Habakkuk was concerned about the Babylonians being used by God to judge Judah and these guys are evil. How can you do that? Know and Habakkuk the prophet couldn't understand it and the Lord said, hey the just shall live by faith. And then we see the apostle Paul in Romans chapter one verse 16 say, I'm not ashamed of the gospel of Christ for it is the power of god unto salvation to everyone that believes to the Jew first and also the Greek for there in his righteous god revealed from faith to faith as it is written back to Habakkuk, the just shall live by faith. And then we saw the apostle Paul used in the book of Galatians as we just studied. The just shall live by faith. Don't go back into the law. Don't go in the law. Continue. Started in the spirit. Continue in the spirit. And then in Hebrews chapter 10, I believe the Apostle Paul, the writer of book of Hebrews, he also says the just shall live by faith. And that you guys can't go back to the Mosaic law and Judaism. God takes no pleasure in those who draw back, which would be apostatized. And so you gotta you started by faith. You gotta continue by faith. And Martin Luther was overwhelmed with this truth and was used of God along with others with with other church leaders to translate the bible from Greek into the various languages of Europe and a whole renaissance of learning and understanding. Great with doctrine. Really, really good with doctrine. But again, they made a huge mistake in that they yoked up with government. They became state run churches. And so watch this unfold. And under the angel of the church in Sardis write these things saith he that has the seven spirits. So in chapter one we saw the seven spirits speaking of the holy spirit of God and the seven stars which is the angels. And I know your works that thou has a name that thou livest but you're dead. You have a name. You're you're known for doctrine. You're known for truth. You're known for the reformation. All these doctrines but you're dead. You're spiritually dead protestant churches because you yoked up with the state. You lack power. You lack the power of the Holy Spirit. And and so you look at the Wesleyans, John, Charles Wesley, you look at many of these guys later through the Philadelphia church, the missionary churches that went out with the gospel and all. But the Protestant church here, one of the things that happens like Martin Luther hated the Jews, blamed the Jews for crucifying Jesus. So he introduced along with Saint Augustine, they introduced what's known today as a Preterist that it all happened in the past or replacement theology. That somehow the church replaced the nation of Israel and that the promises that were given to the nation of Israel ceased with their rejection of Jesus in his first advent, which is wrong and which continues today in Protestant churches that are trying to say that, you know, Israel isn't entitled to the land that they're in right now and and that the church is the one that's gonna usher in the kingdom. We're gonna participate in the seven mountain mandate, we're gonna bring in the golden ages. We're gonna yoke up with government. We're gonna make the place a better place where we're gonna merge the technocrat businesses with and the bankers with government and with with religious groups, all different types of religious groups, we're gonna usher in the return of Jesus Christ. When we get it ready, he's gonna come and rule and reign. You believe that? No. That's crazy stuff. Crazy talk. So I know your works now has a name that thou livest and are dead, but be watchful and strengthen the things which remain that are ready to die for I have not found your works perfect before God. And so you've been weighed in the balance and found wanting and the Lord has a has a indictment against it. He says remember therefore how thou has received and heard and hold fast and repent. If therefore thou shall not watch, I will come on thee as a thief and thou shall not know what I will come upon thee. So because they're replacement theology, this much of the those in the Protestant church, they don't believe in the doctor of the rapture, the pre trib rapture. They forgot. They forgot these truths. These truths were buried by the Catholic church. And that's why when you hear in the eighteen sixties or whatever McDonald and Darby and all these people speculating that the pre trib rapture is a new doctrine, a new thing that Schofield and others, you know, propagated upon the Protestant church. That's not true. It's a revitalized doctrine. It's a doctrine that was crushed by the dark ages of the Catholic church that weren't teaching these things and and there's there was a resurgence of these great men of the eighteen hundreds that came through the time of the missionaries that were going out and scholars, great scholars, and they began to rediscover these doctrines, rediscover that the nation of Israel was gonna be in the land. So if you're during this time if they're saying no the church took the place of Israel, there are scholars in the eighteen hundreds that says no no, They're gonna come back in the land according to Ezekiel thirty six and thirty seven. And people are like, no way. Well, 05/14/1948, it happened. They're there. But then there's early church fathers and their writings like Aurenaeus, and he writes concerning his hope of a pre trib rapture. So, you can look back at church history. You can look back at Jesus and the apostle Paul and the New Testament that speaks of the rapture, the rapture of the church, and then you can also look historically at some of the church fathers and some of the teaching and you can just rediscover that in their writings they were anticipating the pre tribulation rapture of the church. So so if you don't watch, I will come on thee as a thief and that's part of that problem is you've got a lot of unbelievers in the church. So if you look at first Thessalonians chapter five, remember how we studied the different prepositions, we and us and they, and so the contrast of we and us in first Corinthians chapter five, it's not gonna overtake us unaware cause we're children of light and so that day which is the day of the Lord which tribulation period is not gonna surprise us. But them, the other ones, the unbelievers, they and they can even be in the church and they're unbelievers. It's gonna come as a thief and night on unto them because they're children of darkness, because they don't they don't understand. So let's turn there for a second. I'll show you what I mean. It's first Thessalonians chapter five. So he just got done talking about the rapture in chapter four, and now Paul, he says, but of the times and the seasons brethren, have no need that I write unto you. For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord, so this isn't the rapture, this is the tribulation period. That the day of the Lord cometh as a thief in the night. For when they shall say peace and safety, what are they saying today? Peace and safety. Peace and security. Peace and safety. Because the beast system's being built. Right? Then sudden destruction comes upon them, people in the tribulation period. They're gonna they're gonna line up for these marks. They're gonna line up for their basic income. They're gonna line up for all that the beast is promising. Right? Peace and safety. Then sudden destruction comes upon them as travail upon a woman. So what we're doing is we're looking at the birth pangs. We're saying, hey, there's some birth pangs that are pointing toward the development of the beast system, the seven year tribulation period and the infrastructure thereof. So it's gonna come upon them as a woman with child and they shall not escape. But you brethren are not in darkness. So you are not in darkness that that day should overtake you as a thief. We're learning every week we're pointing people to the beast system being built. I mean they're talking about rebuilding the temple. They're talking about the ashes of the red heifer. They've got priests ready to re inaugurate and when the antichrist comes maybe that covenant that he's signing is a covenant of the reestablishing of the Mosaic law. You know, the whole Mosaic system. Right? And so we're watching that and we're just fascinated how it's coming. And we're not making this up, this is really happening. Ye are all sons of light and sons of the day. We are not of the night nor of darkness therefore let us not sleep. So the emphasis upon watching in our text. She's saying watch. Be aware. And so you're all sons of light and sons of the day. We are not of the night nor of darkness. I don't want to be in darkness. I don't want AI to deceive me. I don't want to be in denial acting like it's never gonna happen or it already happened. Therefore let us not sleep as do others but let us watch and be sober minded. So reminded of the 10 virgins. They're watching, they're ready. Their oil was full. They were looking watching waiting for the soon return of Lord. For they that sleep sleep in the night and they that are drunk are drunk in the night but let us, so the personal pronouns here, but let us who are of the day be sober putting on the breastplate of faith and of love and a helmet the hope of salvation. For God has not appointed us to wrath but to obtain salvation by our lord Jesus Christ. So, this is not so theological wrath because Jesus already suffered at the cross of Calvary. The wrath that was poured out for our sins. So the wrath that's spoken of here that were not appointed thereunto is the wrath that's being poured out during the tribulation period. An eschatological wrath of the last days. So back in our text here, this is so much fun. I just so love doing this. Makes me so excited. And he says, so thou has a few names even in Sardis that have not defiled their garments and they shall walk with me in white for they are worthy. So there are believers. There's those who believe, they're men and women of faith, he that overcomes the same shall be clothed in white raiment. So we see that picture in Revelation 19, the bride of Christ coming back with white clean garment and Revelation seven fourteen, names that are written, his name out of the book of life. So he will not blot his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my father and before the angels of heaven. He that has an ear, let him hear what the spirit is saying unto the churches. So in Matthew ten thirty two and thirty three, Jesus said, if you deny me before men, then I'm gonna deny you before my father. And then he he says in Luke twelve eight and nine, if you deny me before men, I'm gonna deny you before my father and the angels of heaven. So if you confess me before men, then I'm gonna confess you before my father and the angels of heaven. I'm gonna say, dad, this this is one of mine. This is one of mine. This is one that I save. This is one that I die for. And so what happens during the Protestant Reformation is you started having the all these different churches, Lutheran churches and Anglican churches in England and all, and the people were not being born again to be a part of these churches. They were becoming members of churches. And as members of churches being baptized in the whole thing, it became yoking up with the state. And so you had doctrine, you still had doctrine, but you had no power in the transformation of lives. And so that's why our history in America was one of after the missionary movements with the Wesleys coming to America and missionaries going out in the next church, the Philadelphia church, the missionary church, there was a desire within the hearts of the people in Europe to go to the new land, to go to you know, Columbus sailed the blue in 1492. They desired to come here for religious freedom. They didn't want to be a part of state run churches. And so the pastors can get money from the state and the state can control to a certain degree the churches and the only topics and things you can talk about are things that you know, that the state approves. You know, so we've always been a threat to the devil because we can proclaim the truth and expose the lies. And so the devil doesn't like that. So have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them. I was thinking of John the Baptist again, and if he were to have made a deal with King Herod and just kept his mouth shut about Herodias coming from his brother Philip. She she was married to his brother Philip, and so they just divorced and came over to Herod. Well, if John the Baptist would have played his cards right, he could have been promoted and he could have been endorsed and he could have received monies from King Herod and he could have had a building fund to go down to the Jordan River and build a baptismal area. You know, enormous amount of money to build a baptismal area. And John the Baptist, his brand, his name would have been even bigger and huge and flocks and flocks and flocks of people coming to his place. And how does he fund it? He funds it by being a friend of Herod. But if he's really a prophet, then he's destined to die, isn't he? Prophets die. Jesus said, which of the prophets did not your fathers kill? Right? That's just part of being a prophet. When you tell the truth, the powers that be hate you and want to silence you. You know? So it's not a it's not about likes. It's about pleasing the Lord. It's about telling the truth. It's about all scriptures given by inspiration of God is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness that the man of God may be equipped thoroughly furnished for every good work. So there's times where we speak the truth in love. Right? And they may not love us. They might hate us. So but I will confess your name before my father and before his angels. And he that has an ear, let him hear what the spirit is saying unto the churches. And so these are members of the church but they're not saved and we see this to a great degree in this time of apostasy in the churches in America today you have an enormous amount of people in the churches that aren't same. So if I were to listen to what Jesus said, broad is the way that leads to destruction and many goes in there at the broad way, nickels and noses get these people into the church, but you can't talk about the stuff that Jesus is bringing up about adultery or idolatry or, you know, doctrine and prophecy and the second coming and all. And you don't mention it if two people are living together and they're going to church serving you don't talk about it. And that's heterosexual, that's male female. And you go leaving a step further and you don't even talk about two women or two men or transgenderism or any wokeism or anything of that. You're not supposed to do that because you're a hater and we want to get them saved. So we don't want to offend, they use the word offend, we don't want to offend the gays, the lesbians, the woke, the adulterers, the thieves. We can't use the word sin. We can't call them to repentance. Well, you're just milking them then. You're making merchandise of them. You just want their money and you're given a false sense of security and one day they're gonna hear the Lord say away from me I never knew you, you that practice iniquity. So narrow is the way that leads the life eternal and few there be that find it. Right? Alright. We're gonna pray and close here. I was gonna maybe do Church of Philadelphia, but we'll do that next week. And so we left off. We'll start next week with verse seven, the Church of Philadelphia. The name Philadelphia means brotherly love and this is the missionary church from 1641 to 1900. And so let's see here. 1517 to 1700. So about the 1600 to '9 1900. Yeah. And this is where the missionaries went out. And so it used to be said that the sun never set on the British Empire. So doctor Livingston all the way into Africa and William Cow Power and many people out of Europe going all over the world with the gospel. And that was that was an exciting time in church history. Alright. Well, let's pray. Father, we thank you for the time that we are able to spend in your word and we just pray that you continue to lead and guide us into all truth and lord, please continue to open the scriptures to our understanding and allow this to be like an appetizer. Help us to go back in and just keep gleaning and grinding away and and sifting and and learning more and more and more as much as we can as you wanna reveal to us that we might be equipped in these last days to give an answer to anybody of the reason of the hope that's within us, Lord. And I know for me, for us, Lord, it's that blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and savior Jesus Christ. That's what we're waiting for. We thank you, we praise you, we worship you. And Lord, we we pray that you give us open doors to share the gospel this week with people who are perishing. Equip and strengthen us. In Jesus' name, amen.
