Live from Bremerton. It's Monday night. We're here have studying the book of Daniel, Daniel chapter two tonight, and wanna put a shout out to Kathy Beaudry. Praying for her knees. Her knees, she, fell down and hurt herself. And for Pamela, Pamela fell down for a second time and hurt herself. And shout out to my dad that the Holy Spirit comfort him. He's gonna be in the Lord's presence at any moment, so I wanna pray for him. He's heavily sedated, and and, I hope he comes out of it at some point. I can talk to him one more time, but but if not, God's on the throne in control. Thomas, wants us to pray for the single mothers, on Father's Day, the intention on the single mothers that don't have husbands to help them. So, yeah, that's true. And vice versa, vice versa, vice versa. And Thomas is looking for a wife if there's anybody out there that, is a matchmaker. Thomas is about 70 and he has never been married. Right? Right. And he's looking for just a knockout 40 year old woman. 35. 35. 35. Okay. And just a bombshell. Just woah. Woah. How would you describe her? You know? No. I don't want a sermon. Just real quick. One thing. What? No. No. One one word. I would do describe her. Sarah? Beautiful. Okay. Alright. So let's pray. Father, we come before you. And, Lord, we lift up Kathy, and I pray that as she gets her leg up and her knee, the swelling will go down, that you'd help her overcome that all that and be able to make it into bed tonight and, be able to walk, the swelling go down, heal her, Lord. I lift up, Pamela. She too, Lord, as she's fallen twice, and help her with her mobility and help her to heal up. Thank you that no bones are broken, just a little tissue bruising and stuff, and just pray that you help her also. And, thank you that Betty and Ray are over their COVID and for Brooke that she continue to make advancements and help her with the, with the powers that be with, they need help in that way. And, Lord, we do lift up Thomas, and we take him serious, and he's looking to Abraham and Sarah. And at this stage of his life, Lord, he's never been married, and he's, he's wanting a miracle. And so, Lord, we come alongside him. We pray as you pray, Lord, not our will, but your will be done. Whatever your perfect will is for Thomas, we pray that he'd enter into all that you have for him. We know he'd be a great, great husband, Lord, because he loves Jesus. We just ask that you bless your word as we study tonight in Daniel two. You bless him as we worship you, and just be with my dad, Lord. Comfort him. Be with Larry and the family, Susan, Lauren, little girls, just help them as they minister on him and all the staff there at the at the hospice, Lord. Your perfect timing. Lord, take them home if you're not gonna do a miracle healing. In Jesus' name, amen. Amen. Need prayer? Okay. So the Gallagher family, Lord, we lift up for comfort with them and that you watch over and protect them and help them get through the loss of their loved one, Lord, in Jesus' name. And, Lord, I'd be with Julie as she's still recovering from her mom going home to be with you and bless her and the family. And just thank you for the time that she had to be able to say goodbye. Rob turns that down so my mic isn't when we're singing. So right now I'm teaching so I it's okay for me to speak. Okay. Alright. So, I understand my limitations. Alright. I can't do it all. Alright. So, Daniel Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego have been in school for three years. They're learning Aramaic and they're learning, how to be part of the wise man team. There's a team of different soothsayers, sorcerers, magicians, the Chaldeans and, Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego are part of this. Now Nebuchadnezzar, he's going to bed at night and he's recognizing, alright, this kingdom has been given to me and what's the future look like? What's the future of this kingdom? And so he has a dream. A dream where the Lord begins to show him the future of not just his kingdom but subsequent kingdoms, you know, thereafter, world kingdoms. So basically a picture of the times of the gentiles, a gentile world rule. So we're gonna by way of reminder, we go over this quite often. The times of the gentiles, I just said a gentile world rule, and Luke 21. We talked about it last week. But, what's that first Gentile nation that's gonna be a world Babylon? And that we're gonna see that that's the head of gold. And then the second nation in Daniel five that subdues, the Babylonian? Medo Persia. You got Cyrus, Persian, and Darius the Mede, and they together. And so what's the what's it look like, the statue that we're gonna see? Daniel two, what's the two arms. Right? Silver. And then two arms, Medes, Persians. Yep. Right? And then after them comes a chest of brass. And who's that? Alexander the Great. Alexander the Great. And then after Alexander the Great, about sixty three BC, who takes over then? The Romans. And it's iron mixed with clay and the iron just crushes everything, right? And also two legs. So as we study that fourth, dominant world power, it's gonna split East West and so that's the two legs. And then some commentators feel that the feet of clay is gonna lean toward the rebirth of the Roman Empire that's going to be the tribulation period. Remember Daniel nine talks about the rebirth and that rebirth of that Roman Empire is going to be empirical. It's going to dominate with as kings but also some some feel that that clay represents some sort of a democracy, the human aspect mixed in with there. I don't I'm not sure I believe that is the case, but we'll we'll continue to study before we get there. Other guys like JD Frog and stuff. Anybody listen to JD last night? I didn't get a chance, but he's doing this prophecy thing again. But, one of the things he interjects is the iron mixed with clay, the clay being we were fashioned from the dirt of the ground, speaking of human beings, and that the beast system is gonna want to integrate machines, gonna want to integrate technology with human beings. So they're gonna wanna tie our DNA with the vaccines, the mRNA technology, the nanoparticles, and they wanna be able, as Catherine Austin Fitz pointed out a long time ago, they want an operating system inside of us, a computer operating system. Now a lot of this is what they want. Right? Whether they get to pull it off or not, we don't know. But in any event, that's their objective. They're trying to put like like Julie said, Neuralink, a link in your head and, connect you with the Beast system so that so that they can try to achieve, an omniscient. So they can know your thoughts. So they can know everything you're gonna do ahead of time. And, and so it's a counterfeit effort to be God is what it is. And, because we know that God is the only one that's omniscient, omnipotent and omnipresent and the beast system can't do that because Satan is just a fallen angel and, he's the leader, the dragon and his antichrist is just a man, inspired by the devil and then the false prophet, that third part of that unholy trinity. So they're gonna use technology and so that last final dominant world empire, the rebirth, so it's the fourth world empire, the fifth world empire will be what? Jesus. Ruling and reigning, fifth world empire. Alright. And so we're gonna see a stone not cut with hands gonna subdue all these. Right? Alright. So let's pray. Father, we we just pray as we give an overview, kinda looking at what's going on. We're so excited to be studying the book of Daniel. So exciting that we don't need to rely upon men and, philosophies and different even AI or whatever. Lord, just real simple basic bible study knowing that you by the power of your holy spirit will teach us, you bring to remembrance the scripture, and that your word, lord, is living and powerful and sharper than any intuitive sword, dividing the sunder of soul and spirit, joint and arrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. And, lord, your word, the gospel, is the power of God into salvation that transform and change our hearts and minds and lives. And Lord, none of us have arrived, none of us are you're not finished with any of us. So we ask that you continue to transform and change us from within, that we'd be more like Jesus tonight as we leave here than when we came in. In Jesus name we pray. Amen. You want to interrupt me? So in the second year in the second year of the reign of Nebuchadnezzar that's so funny. Kathy will say, you're not funny. Alright. In the second year of the reign of Nebuchadnezzar, it's been about three years that they've been in school. He started his reign, they calculated time a year before but it's the second year officially, the way they calculate time. Nebuchadnezzar dreamed dreams and his spirit was troubled in his sleep and went from him. Have you ever had a dream and dream dreams and remember the dream? Has the Lord ever spoke to you through a dream? Again, Rob, is are you able to tell what that is? Can you validate it? It went right to the word? Oh, okay. Would you like to tell people about your dream? The the dream is coming back. Coming back? The one with was Vicky in the dream? No. The one the one that I Bad that the new Jerusalem had descended, and I hadn't hadn't even studied that in in Revelation. And we were had been raptured, and we had given jobs to do, basically things to do, works to do. And I was with an angel who was assigned to me, basically showing me the things of heaven and the things during the millennium period. During that time, we were going and ministering to people. It was really interesting because I had come down with this angel and we came to this little boutique where these people were working. I was standing there in front of this woman and she couldn't see me. I was standing right in front of her, she didn't even notice me. So I looked at the angel, she doesn't see me. And the angel said, you need to slow down. So I said, oh, okay. Slow down. So as soon as I slowed down, I materialized right in front of her, and almost startled. She's like, where'd you come from? And so then we ministered to people in the boutique, then the angel said we have to go back, so we ascended back up to heaven. And the the dream had a lot more elements to it. But to make a long story short, I was unaware of any of this until I had mentioned the dream to Vicky's dad, who then took me to the book of Revelation and explained started explaining all these elements to my vision that I had, this dream that I had, that actually was biblical. Praise the Lord. I was like, man, I had this really weird dream. He just did it a prophecy. Took me right to the bible and he said everything he's like, and he was so excited because he couldn't believe it that I actually had a dream that was Well, if you ever dream and the Lord gives you the lottery numbers, make sure you let me know what you're I'll share it. Alright? I'll share it with everybody. I I really want that dream. Alright? Oh, thank you for that. Anybody else? Betty, you had a dream? Hold hold that thought. Oh, boy. I just opened my mouth. When I was pregnant with David, I had a dream that I was gonna have a boy, and they would look just like his dad. Well, it's true. And, you know, I don't know where it came from, but it came I did and then those days when I had David, they didn't have the ultrasounds like they do now. You know? So and that was one dream that did come through. That's nice. Alright. So does God communicate through dreams still? Alright. So at Pentecost, remember Peter reached back and grabbed hold of Joel chapter two to try and give a an understanding to people what was taking place the holy spirit was poured out at Pentecost. And he said, for these are not drunk as you suppose. So people thought these guys at nine in the morning, as they're speaking in tongues, 16 different dialects of people, different languages that came to the Passover. And, now they're hearing the wonderful things of God, as the Holy Spirit comes out upon them. And people are speculating, all these people must be drunk. And he says, for these are not drunk as you suppose, seeing it is but the third hour of the of the day, 9AM. But this is that, so Peter has a good working knowledge of the scripture. And like Rob did, and like Rob's father-in-law did, we looked at the scripture to authenticate or validate what we might be thinking the Lord's speaking to us. Sometimes, we have a dream and it's just a pizza yank. It has no spiritual connotation or anything. Other times like, Betty had a dream about her son. She had to wait until the son was born that he'd look like his dad and all that. The Lord is speaking to her ahead of time. And and so in this case, says, but this is that which was spoken through the prophet Joel, and it shall come to pass in the last day. So we wanna pay close attention to that phrase, in the last days. What days are we living in? How do you how can you prove that? How can you prove that? In the last days? Is that a pic but is that unique to just this time or could somebody so how do we know we're in the last day? Let me a lot of those are are good, but there's one specific verse that just Hebrews one one and two. God, who at sundry times and at diverse manners spake in time to pass by the prophets, has in these last days spoken to us through his son. So the coming of Jesus inaugurated the last days. Right? So that's we're in the last days. So had the nation of Israel recognize him as messiah, it all be over. But prophetically, the bible indicated ahead of time that he'd be cut off, that they wouldn't. But, two thousand years of the church age and we're living in the last days. At the end of the church age, the rapture will will happen according to Romans eleven twenty five when the blindness apart is happened until the fullness of the gentiles comes in. So the fullness of the gentiles is different than the times of the gentiles. And then after that, the signing of the peace treaty, Daniel nine twenty five to 27 inaugurates or starts the seventieth seventh of Daniel. And and then the next epoch or period of time is the millennial rule and reign of Jesus. In Revelation 20, the devil is loosed at the end of that thousand years and, the Lord, subdues him with fire. And then Revelation twenty one and twenty two is the eternal state. And so new heaven, new earth, new Jerusalem, which Rob already saw in his dream. And so, and it came to pass in the last days, verse 17 of acts two, saith God. So Jesus already been crucified. He's already raised. He's ascended up to heaven. He walked for forty days with the boys, with everybody. 120 are in the upper room waiting for the promise of the father. On the fiftieth day on Pentecost, the holy spirit comes out. And it says, and it shall come to pass on the last day, saith god, I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh, and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy. So your kid, the young people, will be prophesying. And Philip had, four daughters who are prophetesses. Right? Wouldn't that be awesome if your kids are prophetesses? Now prophecy is also can speak of the future, but also it's speaking forth the word of God. And the word of God has a prophetic, power to it. And shall prophesy and your young men shall see visions. I still see visions because I'm young. And your old men shall dream dreams. I don't I don't have any dreams. And on my servants and on my handmaidens I'll pour out in those days of the spirit and they shall prophecy. And I will show wonders in the heaven above and signs in the earth beneath. So now we're moving in this prophecy into the tribulation period. So you have Pentecost and it telescopes into the tribulation period of the last days and wonders in heaven above and signs in the earth beneath blood and fire and vapor and smoke. The sun shall be turned. So there's where Marlene said Matthew 24. The sun shall be turned into darkness and the moon into blood before that great notable day of the Lord comes. So the book of Revelation, we see the fires and and all that's happening and the wars and and the moon turning red. It shall come to pass that whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. So that's the time we're living in. And dreams and visions. And the spirit was troubled, so he's troubled in his sleep, Nebuchadnezzar went from him. And that word troubled, his heart began to race. That's what it means in the Hebrews. Heart began to race. And, you ever woke up with your heart racing? Almost an anxiety attack? Panic attack? Don't know why but your heart's racing. I just had a dream that troubled me. I have dreams all the time and when I wake up with these dreams, so glad it was just a dream. You know? I have these these I had one just the other day. A lot of times I can't remember, but I had one the other day that I was in trouble because I took three red, cups, plastic cups from the gym and I put them in my bag and I was in trouble. The whole dream I was in trouble and I was just like so frustrated like, aren't they for us, you know? And, and what happened is we have those red cups at my house and the gym doesn't even have those things, you know? So when I woke up, I was really excited that it was just a dream and sometimes I have dreams, I'm late for my job, I'm back carpet cleaning, I'm back in California running my business and stuff and I'm late or something happened and then I wake up, I'm so glad it's just a dream. I'm not in trouble. I'm not in trouble. And, most typically are the kind of dreams I have. Went from him. Then the king commanded to summon the magicians and the astrologers. So astrology is what? The magicians are the engravers. They would engrave things. Astrology, the horoscope, the zodiac, looking up to the stars, right? Astrology. And the sorcerers with pharmakia and the sorcerers that are active in the book of revelation. So the all cult, looking into the all cult. These are categorized as wise men. So in verses one through 30, we have the demand or the challenge. And and this section is the challenge we're gonna see that comes to the guys. And then, on to verse 13. And then there's a plea in verse 14 that comes from Daniel. There's a prayer that comes, and then there's a testimony in verse 24, in this chapter. And then there's a a reward that's gonna come. He's gonna be rewarded. And the interpretation is another aspect of this chapter he's gonna interpret it. So Nebbe has this dream and the king commanded to summon the magicians, astrologers, the sorcerers and Chaldeans. The Chaldeans are a national group of people that have been just much like the Jews have brought in. They're priests. They're they're religious sect if you will and they wanna show that they too can interpret the stars with astrology and also astronomy. So astronomy, looking at the moon and the stars and all that and so so astrologers and astronomy what's the other one, Rob? So astrology astrology, the horoscope, right? You think that, hey, I'm a I'm a Capricorn? Right? But astronomy? Okay. There you go. So these guys were that. They were astrologers and astrologists. If we could do that. Alright. So these are the NASA guys. To show the king his dreams. So they came and stood before the king. And, that's a that's a big to do. In Genesis chapter 20 verse three, Abimelech, the king of the Philistines, he had a dream. And in his dream, the Lord spoke to him, Don't you dare touch Sarah. She's another man's wife. And he's a pagan king but he gets a dream. And Abraham had lied, that great man of faith feared Sarah was such a knockout Thomas. She was so beautiful that when Abraham went into Egypt he said tell them you're my sister. Now this time he does it again when he's in the area of the Philistines with Abimelech. And tell them you're my sister. And so this guy's plotting to bring her into his harem because he'd never seen a girl that beautiful. And so the Lord says, Man, you're a dead man if you go even near her. And in Genesis 40 one:one-eight 32, Joseph Joseph is able to interpret dreams as he's in when he was in prison with Potiphar's wife, the butcher and the baker got their you know, they was it the butcher got his head taken off Or the baker? Which one? One of them made it. You told about them. You guys remember which one? So pharaoh has a dream. And it came to pass at the end of two full years that Pharaoh dreamed and behold, stood by the river and behold, there came about of the river seven favored cows, fat flesh and they fed in the meadow and behold, seven other cows came up from them out of the river ill favored and lean fleshed and and stood by the other cows upon the drink of the river by the brink of the river. And you know where I'm going with this. And the ill favored and the lean fleshed cows did eat up the seven well favored and fat cows. So bear awoke and he slept and dreamed a second time and behold seven ears of grain came up from the stock, filled and and good and behold seven thin ears, the light of the east wind sprung up after them. And the seven thin ears devoured the seven fat, full ears, and the pharaoh awoke, and behold, it was a dream. And it came to pass in the morning that his spirit was troubled. So this seems to happen to these kings. And he sent and called for all the magicians of Egypt and all the wise men thereof. And Pharaoh told them his dream, but there was none that could interpret them unto Pharaoh. Then spoke the chief butler, so Marlene said it was the butcher, the candlestick maker that, got his head lopped off. So the butler on the pharaoh saying, do remember so this guy was in jail when Joseph was in jail. I do remember my faults this day. Pharaoh was angry with his servants and put me in prison in the captain of the guard's house, which me and this chief baker, and he dreamed a dream in one night and and and he dreamed each man according to the interpretation of his dream. And there was there with us a young man, a Hebrew servant, the captain of the guard, and he told him and he interpreted for us our dreams, each man according to his dream did interpret. And it came to pass as he interpreted to us, it was, me he restored unto his office, him he hanged. Then Pharaoh sent and called for Joseph and they brought him hastily out of the dungeon and saved himself and changed his raiment and came under the pharaoh. So Joseph, he spent from 13 to just about 30 years old waiting for this moment. 30 years old. Same age as Jesus when Jesus started his public ministry. Thirteen years of waiting, being prepared. And and Pharaoh said unto Joseph, I've dreamed a dream, and there is none that can interpret it. And I have heard say that thee that thou can understand dreams and interpret it. And Joseph answered Pharaoh saying, it is not in me. God shall give Pharaoh an answer of peace. Not me, but God, he's saying. And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, in my dream, behold, stood upon the bank of the river, and, hold, there came up. And so Pharaoh, in this case, is gonna tell Joseph what the dream is. Nebuchadnezzar isn't gonna even let people know what a dream is. So he doesn't really trust those wise men. He's gonna say, you guys have to tell me what the dream is and what the interpretation there is thereof. And and so and Joseph said unto Pharaoh, verse 25, the dream Pharaoh is one of one God has shown Pharaoh what he is should do. The seven good cows are seven ears and seven good ears. So you know what Joseph did. Joseph's able to prepare ahead of time food storage for seven years because there's a seven year drought that's coming. And so it made Joseph and it made Farrell where he owned everything because everybody lost their farms and everything just to get food and which is another interesting side note. You'll own nothing and be happy. Right? Oh, Clouch. So and the king said unto them, I have dreamed a dream and my spirit was troubled to know the dream. Then spoke the Chaldeans to the king in Aramaic. So from here, Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach, Abednego have been in school, learning Aramaic, which is a Syrian language. And from here till all the way through chapter seven, the book of Daniel is now written in Aramaic. And so three years later, he's able to speak Aramaic. Daniel uses a couple verses in Greek and Hebrew. So then spoke with Chaldeans of the king in Aramaic, O king, live forever. So they're buttering them up, they're softening them, you know. Tell thy servants the dream and we will show the interpretation. And, that seems reasonable. Tell me the dream and I'll interpret it for you. That's what Pharaoh did for Joseph, right? And answered and said to the Chaldeans, the thing is gone from me. If you will not make known unto me the dream with the interpretation of it, ye shall be cut in pieces and your house shall be made a refuse heap. So this is a huge demand, demanding of these guys. And it's at this point that you wouldn't want to be one of the wise men, right? No matter how much money. And what a graduation present for Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego. I mean this is a graduation. They just graduated. Look at this challenge, immediate challenge. And we would look at it as this is impossible. The Chaldeans, magicians, everyone is saying it's possible. Well what are you facing that's impossible? Could it be that God's setting the stage? Could it be an opportunity for God to work? For God to do great things? But he he purposely is making it so that only he gets the glory. Right? And he's setting the stage. And he's he's gonna elevate Daniel. He's gonna show. I'm gonna I'm gonna cause Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach, Abednego to be set apart. Come out from among them, be separate, saith the Lord. Touch off the unclean thing and I'll receive you. You're in the world but not of the world. So Christians make a huge mistake of trying to be like the world. Using all the world's methodology and stuff, marketing and whatever. Much better to be unique, to be different, to be a stranger, to be a pilgrim, to be different than the world. That the world would say, you know, what's the secret of your strength, Samson? What's the secret of your strength? Like we talked about yesterday. It's my relationship with the Lord. That's the secret. If you show the dream and its interpretation, you'll receive from the gifts and rewards and great honor. Therefore, show me the dream and the interpretation of it. So nowadays, you wanna know what's going on and I guess Nancy Reagan, a lot of people still do this but they're, they wanna do seances, they wanna call the 1900 number, They want to walk into a psychic shop, you know. Psychic, it says down on Sunset Beach in California there's this place around PCH says psychic, you know. And she's been there, he's been there twenty five, thirty years, so there must be a lot of people that go there to wanna know the future. You wanna know what your future is like Nebuchadnezzar? Who can tell you your future? Who can tell Thomas who his wife is, you know, ahead of time? How do you know, you know, they're gonna have a boy like Betty, the Lord gave her a dream that David's gonna look like his dad and stuff like that. It'd be great to know the future. Some some have said the reason God doesn't let us know the future is it's gonna be far harder than we think at the beginning. We're so optimistic. And if we've known how difficult it would be, we've never gotten married. No. I'm just kidding. I'm kidding, right? I'm kidding. Know it was hard, I just remained single. Take heed. Alright, so you go into the psychic place and what's the first thing they ask you? Your name? Well, you're the psychic. You tell me my name. Today, if you tell somebody your name, if I go to have my car fixed, not Sean but or a restaurant or anywhere, one of the first things they do is they pull up your profile. People are curious about who you are and you pay with cash, they don't know. But they take your card and they look at it, oh, Richard Bowdreak, you know. They can type that in real quick there and Facebook page. So that psychic, you tell her your name nowadays and she can say, well, can you wait in the lobby for a few minutes? You know, have some coffee. I'm I'm gonna get ready. And they're going back to the AI and they're asking the AI and the Internet and the whole thing to get to get some generalities about you. Generalities. Maybe not real specifics. Unless like right now I've got my dad a tribute to my dad saying goodbye to my dad. So if I went to the psychic, now she's gonna say, your dad's really sick about ready to die. Or a few weeks from now my dad is dead and she says, your dad wants you to know this. Right? She knows my dad's dead, she knows his name, she sees pictures of him and she said, your dad wants me to tell you this. Now, that's that's just trickery, right? That's just that's just crazy trickery. Now these guys, if they have a relationship with demons, can the demons tell them stuff about people? You think so? You think so? Yeah? Oh, I hear absolutely. What things can they tell? Can they tell the future? Tell things they've seen you do? So why can't these magicians, these soothsayers, why can't they approach the demons to tell them what Nebby's dream was? Well, they're around. Pardon me? They're in the room when he's there. The demons the demons can be in his room. You got nothing to go on. Nothing to go on? Okay. So Nebbe didn't tell a soul. Didn't tell anybody. Is it not of his heart yet? So the demons have to listen to what you say, right, to find out what you're up to? Okay. Alright. So Satan doesn't have that ability. He's got to use generalities. And, so generality to me or you if we lost a loved one for Julie is a guy in the church who's a false prophet, a wolf, would see that she's grieving over her loss of her mother and she's a single mom and come up to her and say, you know, the Lord showed me the Lord showed me that you're having a hard time. The Lord showed me that you're a little depressed, you know, things like that. I had a worship leader that did that to vulnerable women. He played the field. He played the room. And it was sickening the way that would do that. And he was really into Kathryn Coleman and really into the woo woo spirituality stuff and so that's part of what he he did. Part of where he leaned and he would gain emotional connections with people, particularly women. And or vulnerable guys. And that's what the pedophiles, all these people do, they look for vulnerable, lonely children and, so they they they're very slick in their strategies of deceiving people. Now these guys, he will show you the interpretation. The king answered and said to the Chaldeans, this thing is gone from me. If you will not make it known unto me the dream with the interpretation, so that's huge, of it, you shall be cut in pieces and your houses, shall be made cut in pieces and your house made a refuse. So very demanding heat. But if you show the dream and its interpretation, you shall receive of me gifts and rewards and great honor therefore. Show me the dreams and the interpretation of it. And so he's also, letting them know that if you guys are legit, if you can really do this, then there's a great deal of reward for you. They answered again and said, let the king tell his servants the dream and we will show the interpretation of it. So now they're saying, help us help you. Help us help you. We wanna help you king. You ever heard that before? Help me help you. Tell me. Tell me what help me to help you. You know? So you're better off taking the fifth amendment and not saying anything. Right? Don't say a word. Because they're trying to get you to confess or whatever and so don't say anything. Say nothing. I know nothing. Help me to help you. So in many cases, people can be lying to you and then you divulge things and it's twisted and, they don't get it right. So sometimes it's best to be silent. The king answered and said, I know of certainty that you would gain the time. So he's saying, if I tell you the dream, then you're going to take the time or if I don't emphasize a certain time frame here, the urgency of let me know it quickly, you guys will think that he's going to calm down and won't be so demanding in the days and weeks ahead. And that's kinda not gonna be that big of a thing because you see the thing is is gone from me. So I'm gonna forget it in time. So don't think. It's in my head. It's in my heart right now. I'm not gonna forget this so you don't have the time that you're wanting to delay that I might forget the dream. But if you will not make known unto me the dream, there is but one decree for you. For you have prepared lying and corrupt words to speak before me till the time has changed. Therefore, tell me the dream. And so, they're gonna go to the AI and the AI is gonna write out a plausible explanation, or a dream and then an interpretation. You know, they're gonna they're gonna guess but they're gonna let AI try to try to, based upon Nebby's personality and all the information and all of his websites he goes to and all of his likes and all of his family members and everything involved in that AI will go in there and bring forth a composite, some sort of a character kind of a thing that you know what, Nebi's probably worried about the future. He's a brand new king. He just entered in and he's probably concerned about his kingdom. And, so they'll make an educated guess, but that's how AI, is working today. You guys told me that AI is writing the sermons for the guys and the AI Bibles and, it's just a huge database to speak before me until the thing has changed. Therefore, tell me the dream And I shall show and I and I shall know that ye show me its interpretation. So if you can tell me the dream, then I know that you got the goods, that you got the ability to give me the proper real interpretation of what's going on. And, and so the Chaldeans answered before the king and said, there is not a man upon the earth that can reveal the king's matter. Therefore, there is no king, lord, nor ruler that asks such things of any magician or astrologer or Chaldean, the priest. So you're asking something that's impossible. You're there's no king. You're the first king ever that's asked something like this and, you know, you're you're a bully. You're you're just bullying us, you know. There's no way that we could we could ever answer this and so their backs to the wall and they're saying this is unreasonable. I had a carpet cleaning business and I had a guy, Ron, that was a guy I worked for there And, he made a mistake in purchasing olefin carpet, which loves oil. And I had four big buildings, commercial buildings that I do every weekend, cleaning up the the hallways, just the tributaries where you go straight down the aisles. So it's a baby blue. Well, it would get a tinge of yellow, every week. So what happened, Olefin loves oil and it's impervious to stains. So the reason he put it there is you could spill coffee, spill something, it doesn't stain. But it loves oil. So you've got asphalt parking lots with everybody coming in with oil on their shoes. That's why Robin McKimy can take his shoes off and it gets all over the carpet making these yellow pathways. So we're in there cleaning every week. It's a great cash cow for us. And he pulls me into the office one time and he says, I want you to clean that carpet and I want it to stay clean. Okay, so I said to him, you can want that all you want but it'll never happen. Now eventually he lost the account. It gave him time to find somebody else But I was trying to let him know that the second law of thermodynamics, what is it? Entropy. What's that mean? Everything's getting worse. Everything's degrading. Houses don't miraculously have no dust. There's more dust. You know? Everything's waxing down. You don't take care of the fruit trees, they're gonna morph or they're gonna entropy to getting worse. Right? Husbandry. You gotta you gotta put your part in there. It's just law. Second law of thermodynamics. So anyway, I'm trying to let him know, second law of thermodynamics and I gave him a solution. You need to buy nylon carpet. That's a mistake you made. If you buy nylon carpet, then it's going to stay clean. You're not going have these yellow tributaries. But got rid of me and I was going to the school of ministry so I didn't care. And I different made venture. I was faced with something impossible. Somebody demanding of me something that's impossible and I wasn't being a smart aleck, was just letting them know that your demand is too great. There's no way. Now could I schmooze them? Could I, you know, lied to them and kept it going a little longer? Maybe. But, that's not who we are. So you just tell them the truth straight up and the ball is in his court. So these guys are like, this is crazy. Let's, who wants to read second kings six verse 12? Second kings six verse 12. Now in second kings chapter five, Elisha is there and Naaman the Syrians got leprosy and he comes to he comes to Judah and, his his, Naaman's maiden that was there. I wish you know the prophet of Israel, and the prophet was Elisha. And, because he could heal you. Nobody in the whole realm of Assyrians, could do this and, of Assyria could could heal. So leprosy, he's a he's a valiant. Naaman was a valiant general, a valiant warrior, but he had leprosy. So the maiden said there's a there's a guy in Israel that can that can heal you named Elisha. So the king of Assyria sends a letter to the king of Israel, and the king of Israel is feeling like these astrologers. You're asking me to have one of my guys heal the guy you're picking a fight. There's nobody that can heal somebody of of leprosy. So you know the story, chapter five of second king, Naaman the Syrian comes there and Elisha doesn't even go visit him. He sends Gehazi out there and he tells Gehazi, go tell that guy to dip seven times in the River Jordan. Real simple, becomes a child kind of a thing. And Naaman the Syrian was furious. The rivers of of of my country are far better, you know, than the than the Jordan River, you know. And and so his his men that were with him, his wise men said, you know, Neiman, you're a great man. They're asking you a very simple thing. You know, it's not a big thing they're asking you to do. It's just a simple thing. Go go, what do you got to lose? Go dip yourself seven times and see what happens. So he went and he dipped himself seven times and he came up clean like a small child. His his his leprosy was gone. And, so he came back and he was so excited and he wanted to give gifts to Elisha and Gehazi and all. Elisha is saying, no, we don't want any of your money. Don't want any of your gifts. Elisha was running a school of the prophets and, had guys he was training and, and Gehazi was greedy. And Gehazi didn't know the time they were living in. He didn't understand the times they were living, which was the time of apostasy that the nation turned its back upon God. So Gehazi concocts a lie and runs after Naaman and says, my master sent me after you because some of the prophets came down from the school and they need some clothes and they need some money and stuff. And so Naaman the Syrian gives them some money and gives them some clothes, Babylonian garments and all. And then Gehazi goes and buries it. Kinda like Achan, where Achan buried some of the loot that was there in Jericho and, took it home and buried it. And what's interesting is Elisha said said, like God said to the devil, hey, where have you been? Where have you been? Oh, neither here nor there. And Elisha says to him, did not my heart go with you? He could see into Gehazi's heart. He knew what he did even though he didn't witness it, you know, ahead of time. So then, he said, is this a time, and he knew the covetousness of him, is this a time to receive men servants, maidservants so he could see Gehazi's head what he wanted that money for? You know, lands, vineyards and all that kind of stuff. And, so he said, behold the leprosy of Naaman is upon you and upon your children. Gehazi went away from there white as snow like a like a leper. Now in chapter six, verse 12, who wants to read that one? Steve has it. Okay. Sure. Give the context. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Therefore, the heart of the king of Syria was sore troubled for the this thing. And he called his servants and said unto them, will you not show me which of us is for the king of Israel? And one of his servants said, none my lord, o king, but Elisha the prophet, that he is in Israel telleth the king that telleth the king of Israel the words that thou speakest in thy bedchamber. So Steve, tell us what was going on there. Well, the other servants knew that it was impossible to tell what the king was perceived to have and Yep. That Elisha was known to be a prophet and so Yep. Yeah. So what's happening also was before that vacation there, the king would try and do ambushes against the Israelites. But the intel, the Mossad was so good that the Mossad infiltrated all of Israel and all that for years, you know. So the intel was so good that they would let the king of Israel know Elisha will let the king of Israel know, be careful because they've got an ambush set up over here. So the element of surprise wasn't there anymore. So the king is frustrated like there must be a spy. Somebody, there's a spy among us that's, telling, you know, the intel of our military attacks. And, in verse 12, the king is told, no, king. You don't understand. Israel has a guy named Elisha, and he can hear you in your bed chamber. He can hear when you're talking to your wife. He knows he knows what you're saying. He can hear it. Right? And so these magicians and soothsayers and all those kind of people, they don't know what's going on, but somebody that's connected to God, God can give Elisha a word of knowledge, a vision, a dream, and, let them know what's going on. And so, they don't have any AI technology. They don't have any cameras in his room. They don't have any monitors. It's simply a work of the holy spirit. Wouldn't that be amazing if we, as poor as we are and as helpless as we are, we say, silver and gold, have we none? We don't have all the technology and all the bells and whistles, but in the name of Jesus Christ, stand up and walk. Wouldn't that be amazing to see that? And the gifts of the calling of God are without repentance. He's the same yesterday, today and forever. I mean, if we rely upon earthly things, human effort, human devices, we'll never see the book of acts. We'll never see the work of the holy spirit. But when our backs to the wall, we got no one else to depend or trust in, it may be that we start to see the Lord move and work in a way that, we've only read about, in the book of acts. Alright. So let them know. Verse 11, It is a rare thing that the king requires, and there's no other that can reveal it before the king except the gods, little g gods, whose dwelling is not with with flesh. So these guys are correct in that men of the flesh can't do this. And he's letting them know we're men of the flesh. We're not men of the spirit. And, the only way is that a man of of the spirit would hear from the holy spirit, you know, what's going on. And, so before thinking, accept the gods whose dwelling is not with flesh. So he's saying that their gods don't dwell with flesh, but our god dwelt among us. Jesus tabernacled among us, right? God incarnate and he wants us to know secrets. He reveals secrets unto us. And for this cause, the king was angry and very furious and commanded to destroy all the wise men of Babylon. So our God reveals secrets. So let's look at some verses of this. Let's see. I guess not. I can't read it. We're okay. Verse 28, he'll talk about secrets. Verse 29 about secrets. Verse 27 secrets. And so all the way through these secret things, you know, belong to the Lord. He's the one. For this cause, the king was angry and very furious and he commanded to destroy all the wise men of Babylon. So this nebbe's got a real anger problem. We'll see in chapter three when Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego defy him that his face is furious and contorted. It actually changed the complexion of his face. He was so furious and, threw him in the fiery furnace. And the decree went forth that the wise men should be slain and they sought Daniel and his fellows to be slain. So this is graduation present for Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego because they were part of the group of wise men. And, so stage is set now for God to work. Daniel's back to the wall. The stage is set for God to intervene and for God to do the impossible. And that's what the Lord is allowing. The Lord purposely allowed all these circumstances, all this stuff to happen so that Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach, and Bednogul could rise above the norm and be be Daniel's gonna wind up serving Babylon and then the Persians. He's gonna be there for seventy years. Cyrus is gonna wind up letting them letting them, the Jews go back to Jerusalem and all, but, Daniel's gonna be there and he's gonna be an old man after that seventy years, know, to 100 years old. Then Daniel answered with a plea. Daniel's gonna plea. He's gonna intercede. Then Daniel answered with counsel and wisdom to Arioch. Arioch means name means, fierce as a lion. Arioch is like the executioner. He's like a a general that executed hundreds of thousands of people in Jerusalem when they destroyed Jerusalem. So but they say, don't know for sure, that Ariach possibly was a proselyte and came to came to, know the Lord of the Jews, in that process of time. And he has a real heart for Daniel and for Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego. So he's not real quick to just kill these guys. He listens, Daniel has his ear so to speak. So part of God's grace in our life is God will give us favor with people. He'll give us open doors with certain people. Other people, we can be honest and generous and kind and above board and they want nothing to do with us. We we and that might be the Lord protecting us, you know, to not yoke up maybe. And so don't force things. Allow God to open and close doors. The captain king guard who had gone forth to slay these wise men. So he answered and said to Arioch, the king's captain, why is the decree so hasty from the king? Then Arioch made the thing known to Daniel. And so Daniel wasn't there. He wasn't there with these initial, wise men that were there. He wasn't there, but he was included in the group that was gonna be executed. And, so he's brought up to speed with, what's happening. Then Daniel went in and desired of the king that he would give him time and that he would show the king the interpretation. So he's asking for a meeting with the king. He didn't go in immediately right there, but he's asking for Arioch to petition the king and ask the king for a meeting. And the king agrees. Alright. I'll meet with you, Daniel. But Daniel's gonna go to prayer now. So he had a plea. Now it is his prayer. What would you do? How would you pray? So then Daniel went to his house and made the thing known to Hananiah, Mishael and Azariah, his companions. So he goes and he gets Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego and lets them know because they're also, wise men And, that they would desire mercies of the God of heaven concerning the secret that Daniel and his and his fellows should not perish with the rest of the wise men of Babylon. So he immediately goes to the Lord. He immediately goes to God in prayer, that the Lord might answer. And he lets Shadrach, Meshach, Abednego know how important this is. Now, who wants to read the book of Esther chapter four verse 13 through 17? The book of Esther chapter four verse 13 through 17. There was a situation here where a guy named Haman hated the Jews. Wanted them all to be exterminated and got the king to sign a decree. And, it can't be reversed with these guys. We'll see that in Daniel chapter six. Once they sign a decree to put Daniel in the lion's den for praying, there's no reversing that. Nebuchadnezzar is autocratic. He can do whatever he wants there, but, he as a king doesn't have the legislature or whatever that can hold him back. So but in this case, with, queen Esther, she won a beauty contest, against Vashti and she became one of the queens of of Haceros. And, and so she's a knockout. She's a beauty and she's got an uncle named Mordecai. And Mordecai refuses to bow down for Haman when Haman walked by and stuff. So Haman makes this huge hatred toward toward the Jews and has a specific day when all the Jews are gonna be killed. A holocaust. And, and actually has a gallows raised ahead of time that his arch enemy Mordecai would be hung from those gallows. So Mordecai has an audience with queen Esther and he lets her know that, don't think. You need to intercede. You need to do whatever you can. Don't think that you are going to escape this. It's gonna affect you too. And how do you know that you weren't called for such a time as this? And so watch what Queen Esther asked. Watch what Queen Esther asked in Esther four thirteen through 17. Then Mordecai commanded to answer Esther, think not with thyself that thou shalt escape in the king's house more than all the Jews. For if thou altogether holdest thy peace at this time, then shall their enlargement and deliverance arise to the Jews from another place. But thou and thy father's house shall be destroyed, and who knoweth whether there art come to the kingdom for such a time as this? Then Esther bade them, returned Mordecai this answer. Go gather together all the Jews that are present in Shushan, and fast ye for me, and neither eat nor drink three days, night or day. I also and my maidens will fast likewise, and so will I go into the king, which is not according to the law. And if I perish, I perish. And Mordecai went his way and did according to all that Esther had commanded him. So she's getting everybody to fast and pray. Fast and pray. Right? Now, when we have a problem, when we have a crisis, how do we problem solve? How do you problem solve? So we got we have a prayer chain. We ask people to pray. Sometimes we and we fast and pray, maybe nothing's happening at first. Right? Steven? Ourselves. Humble ourselves and say, Lord. In the word, yeah? So let's say your wife says she's leaving you. That, she doesn't love you, you got married too young, got a new husband somewhere and you guys have been going to church, you've been married forty years. You've been going to church, raise your kids, all that stuff and all of a sudden she's gonna leave you. How do you problem solve that? So you get on the prayer chain. So it escalates and it gets worse. Do you take her to a Christian counselor? Do you call a lawyer? Do you with your prodigal son or daughter, do you use the money you have to try and steer them, move them, change them? You can throw money at problems. You can use a lot of human practical things that to alleviate things, but sometimes your back back is back to the wall like queen Esther, Mordecai, the Jews, and like Daniel, and your only hope is in God. So let me ask you this. When's the last time you've had a crisis that you were compelled to fast and pray like queen Esther is asking Mordecai? When's the last time you were compelled to I mean, so desperate, like a dying man. These guys are praying like dying men. They're desperate. The only one that can help them is God. And when the disciples came to a kid that was throwing himself into the fire and, they couldn't cast out the demon, the father was was bummed because they did other miracles, but why can't you guys why can't your disciples, you know, cast out the demon that's tormenting my son and throwing him into the fire? And and the disciples asked, why couldn't we do this? Why why what happened? And Jesus said, This kind cometh not out but through prayer and fasting. And so, there's something to be said of denying the flesh, denying our normal way of life, the phones, everything and getting along with the Lord, maybe having a prayer meeting, when Peter was incarcerated in Acts chapter 12 and James was killed, the church went to a prayer meeting. They went to prayer. And when Peter was released by the angel, you know, Rhoda, who went to the gate and opened the door, she's like, it's Peter. And she goes back in and tells people, it's Peter. And they're like, nah. It's not. We're praying, but no. That's impossible. You know what I mean? And so when we pray, do we really even believe in all? So but anyway, queen Esther, great example there. She knew what to do. She knew alright, I'm gonna need prayer support. I'm gonna need people around me praying. And I've always told you guys, I've told you a few times, one of the things that, pastor Chuck taught us is, when he was new church plant, when he had the 25 and they were just starting over with 25 people they started with. He just said to the 25 that he had that every time you have a meal, just remember me, remember us in your prayers. You know, just bathe us in prayer. And, that's what I would say is is is paramount. The most important thing is to be bathed in prayer, petitioning God. When we get to heaven, do you think some of the angels are gonna come up to us and say, how come you didn't pray more? Why didn't you guys pray more? Can angels pray? Do angels pray? They praise God. Right? They praise God. They worship God. Alright. So queen Esther, love her, that they should desire mercies of the god of heaven. So addressing god, not little g god, but he's addressed as the god of heaven. These guys are astrologers, astronomers, they're soothsayers. So Daniel's addressing him as the God of creation, the God of heaven whose throne is in heaven. And, concerning this secret, so there's a secret there that Daniel and his followers should not perish with the rest of the wise men of Babylon. So let's get praying. Let's get everybody praying. Now watch this prayer. Watch this prayer. Then was the secret revealed unto Daniel in a night vision. Then Daniel so so we see the prayer now now the praise. Daniel's gonna praise the Lord for the answer to the prayer. This was the thus was the secret revealed unto Daniel in a night vision, so he gets a vision. And Daniel blessed the God of heaven. So it wasn't revealed to Shadrach, Meshach, Abednego. They're all praying, but God chose to reveal the secret in a vision to Daniel. Daniel answered and said, blessed is the name of God forever and ever. Notice he says, so in his praise, he's describing him in his attributes. For his wisdom, which is his omniscience, he knows everything, and his might, his omnipotent are his. And he changes the times and the seasons. He removes kings and sets up kings. He giveth wisdom unto the wise and knowledge to those who know understanding. So Jim likes this verse and and there was a part of it that really blessed him. What is that that blessed you about verse 21, Jim? Yeah. And he changed the times and the seasons. Alright. You got okay. He changes the times and the seasons. He removes kings and sets kings sets up kings. He gives wisdom unto the wise and knowledge to them that no understanding. He reveals the deep and secret things. He knows what is in the darkness and the light that dwelleth with him. And then he goes on. I thank thee and praise thee, oh, God of my fathers who has given me wisdom and might and has made me known has made known unto me now what we desired of thee, for thou hast now made known unto the king's matter made known unto us the king's matter. Okay. So the times and the seasons jumped out at Jim, and Gehazi was rebuked because he didn't know the time he was living in. Jesus rebuked his generation because they didn't know the time of their visitation as he's coming into Jerusalem, Hosanna. They didn't see the fulfillment in Zechariah lowly riding upon a donkey and on all. And, how often I would have gathered you as a mother hen does gather brood under wings, you would not hold your cities, left you desolate. Why? Because they didn't know the time of their visitation. They didn't know the prophecy that spoke of the exact day. This thy very day, Jesus said, that he would, come into Jerusalem. So there's times and seasons. Many people want to, write books and tell you when the rapture is gonna happen. Jesus said no man knows the day and the hour. So that's hidden. There's nobody can say when the rapture is gonna happen. But of the times and the seasons that we're in, that alerts us that we're getting close to the second coming, not the rapture, but the second coming of Christ. That we're getting close to the beast system, the one world government, the one world economic system, the one world religious system are on the horizon. Israel's in the land, so we have a lot of prophecies that are fulfilled and being fulfilled that let us know that we're in the last of the last days. Right? And so, who wants, first Chronicles 29, it might be 12 or 72, it can't be 72. Well, just try it. First Chronicles twenty nine twelve. K. Job 12 Vicky loves Job. Job twelve eighteen through 21. And then who wants Psalm seventy five six and seven? Yeah. And first Thessalonians five verse one. You want it Jim? One Thessalonians five:one. Okay? And that's gonna help us. So we saw the omniscience of God, the omnipotence, and verse 21 speaks of the sovereignty of God. That God's in control. He sets up a king and he takes a king down, and Nebuchadnezzar in chapter four is gonna gonna realize this after seven years of eating grass. Is this not great Babylon which I have built? And the Lord humbles him, and he's able to abase anybody he wants. Alright. So first Chronicles 29, I think it's 12. No? 12. Both riches and honor come of thee, and thou reignest overall. And in thine hand is power and might, and in thy hand it is to make great and to give strength into all. So the sovereignty of God, it all comes from God. Job twelve eighteen through 21, Vicky. Sing a song if you want. Takes off the shackles put on by kings and he ties a loin cloth around their waist. He leads priests away, stripped and overthrows officials long established. So he's in charge, we got these governments, these guys think they're in charge, the globalists, all that, but God's the one thrown in control. We as a church are restraining the evil as the Holy Spirit works through us. Once we're raptured out, it's gonna be far more far greater slippery slope. There's gonna be greater latitude, an intensity, an increase of evil because we're not there to expose the evil. So the holy spirit working through us. Psalm seventy five six and seven. Promotion. Six and seven. For promotion cometh neither from the East nor from the West nor from the South, but God is the judge. He putteth down one and seteth up another. So Daniel let let him know that the Lord removes kings and he sets up kings. He's setting you up, and he controls the times and the seasons. And we're living in the last of the last days. And, Jim, in first Thessalonians five one, what's the apostle Paul say about? The times in which we're living. But of the times and the seasons, brethren, you have no need that I write unto you. Keep reading. For you yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. For when they shall say peace and safety, then sudden destruction cometh upon them as travail upon a woman with child, and they shall not escape. They. So contrast of they and us. Keep reading. You can see the contrast. You're children of light. But ye, brethren, are not in darkness that that day should overtake you as a thief. You are all the children of light and the children of the day. We are not of the night nor of darkness. Therefore, let us not sleep as others, but let us watch and be sober. For they that sleep, sleep in the night, and they that are drunken are drunken in the night. But let us who are of the day be sober putting on the breast plate of faith and love, and for an helmet the hope of salvation. For God has not appointed us under wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ. There we go. So contrast the children of darkness, children of light, the times and the seasons. It's not gonna overtake us unaware. He's not gonna come as a thief in the night to us, speaking of the second coming, because we're aware of the times and the seasons. We're students of prophecy. We're seeing the dots connect. We know with Israel in the land. We know we're close. Alright. So verse 22. He reveals the deep and secret things. He knoweth what is in the darkness and the light dwells with him. So in Isaiah 61, rise and shine. Rise and shine. Give God the glory, rise and shine, right? And so the light is rising up. So let's look at some verses that speak of the deep things. Who wants Romans two sixteen? Okay. First Corinthians fourteen twenty four and twenty five. Somebody want that? Fourteen, twenty four and twenty five. Oh no. Okay. First Corinthians two, nine and ten. Yes, sir. And then you could also read verse 14 when you're there. We wanna contrast the natural man and the spiritual man and spiritual revelation, the deep things, the secret thing. Who wants Psalm 36 verse nine? Psalm 36 verse nine? And then, Psalm one thirty eight twelve or one thirty nine twelve. One thirty nine twelve? Okay. Alright. So we're looking at Romans two sixteen. In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel. So everything in the great white throne judgment, they're gonna say this is your line. And they're gonna play the film of Bill Gates, Soros, every who killed Kennedy, everything done in secret is gonna be shouted from the rooftop. Nothing concealed, everything exposed, transparency, the secret things. Now what's important about that for me is God knows the secret things of my heart and he still loves me. Nothing's hidden from him. Everything's naked and open before the eyes with whom we have to do. Right? Everything's naked. So he knows me the worst about me and he loves me. And he's not gonna leave me the way he found me. He's gonna transform and change me. Right? He is transforming and changing me. But man, if I had to stand on my own merit rather than God's grace, you know? Alright. First Corinthians fourteen twenty four and twenty five. But if any unbeliever or an inquirer comes in while everyone is prophesying, they are convicted of sin and are brought under judgment by all. As the secrets of their hearts are laid bare, so they will fall down and worship God, exclaiming, God is really among you. So how many times, as the word is going forth, being taught, how many times, prophetically has God revealed your heart? Maybe in a sermon, you go, how did pastor know that? You know, who told him? You know, was he in the bedroom chamber? Or, or you're in a group and some new people come in and the Lord gives you a word of knowledge, he gives you prophecy, he gives gives you insight of the secrets of people's hearts and they're overwhelmed that you would know those things and they fall down and worship God, right? So one of the things that happened to me over and over again is, going to church, simply going to church and pastor Chuck teaching the word and the word of God able to resonate, to connect with my heart, things I've been wrestling with during the week, the day, and it's like, I needed to hear that. How did how did he know that? Well, he didn't know that. It's the word of God. It's the work of the holy spirit. The holy spirit knew that about you. And the holy spirit when we study God's word, we're looking into a mirror and we're seeing our self in relationship to who God is. And it should compel us to confess our sin and, to not walk out trying to cover our sin. So God's revealing himself unto us. Job twelve twenty two. No? Psalm thirty six nine. Well, Vicky can do Job 22 because she was there. Twelve twenty two. And then Psalm 36 verse nine. How about somebody else? Hosea twelve ten. What's that? Bernie, you want that? Hosea twelve ten. Okay. Job twelve twenty two or Rob's over there. What do you have, Martin? Psalms thirty six and one thirty nine. Oh, there you go. Psalm thirty six nine. Where with thee is the fountain of life, in thy light shall we see light. So God's revealing. He's putting light and that light is illumination which leads to revelation. Right? He's illumining, exposing the secrets of men's heart, and then he reveals the heart. So when Oprah says, hey, just trust your heart. Why do we reject that? Because Jeremiah seventeen nine says what? Your own heart is all things. So you don't even know your own heart, and your heart's desperately wicked. You know? So don't be doing that. Right? Don't be going with your gut, you know. So we wanna differentiate between the, you know, the natural man, his gut, heart, that we have the holy spirit helping us, that speaks to us and leads and guides us and helps us lead and guide us into all truth. Alright. Psalm one thirty nine twelve. Yea, the darkness hideth not from me, but the night shineth as the day. The darkness and the light are both alike to thee. So what happens is, the bars like to be real dark. Congress politicians wanna stay in the dark. One of the things the devil hates the most about you and I is when we expose the darkness with the truth. The devil hates that. When you turn the light on at the houses you rented with your friends when you just got out of high school, the light goes on and the cockroaches flee. Right? They hate the line. Marlene almost finished my sentence because she went to Hawaii and they got big cockroaches there. Right? And the devil hates it. The devil would rather, be able to hide in the darkness and continue to deceive people. So the people the devil goes after the most, the people you watch, you know, public life, they call them whistleblowers. And when they start to expose the dark, dark things that these evil people are up to, they become targets of assassination and ridicule and breakdown and Breitbart was killed one night, know, bunch of them. That happens too. So in the spiritual realm, that's where the attacks come spiritually against you, because you don't water down the truth. People want you to even water it down. They'll say, don't be so critical and judgmental. Can't you just love? They don't like to have things exposed. But Jesus said, you know the truth and the truth will set you free. Right? Ephesians five eleven says have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness but rather expose them. So we try to we're not sin snippers, we're not running around trying to figure out what everybody's sin is. But when someone's bold with a lie, they're bold with a lie, I have a responsibility to expose them. And I try I try to beg them to just quit rubbing this in my face. Quit, you know, stop it. Just stop it. I don't wanna have to deal with this. And then pretty soon, I have to deal with it, and then all hell breaks loose. Alright. And I'm the I'm the one hated because I didn't love. I love them. And and so you just know you just expect it. It's what the devil's devil does. So, Vicky with Job twelve twenty two. He reveals the deep things of darkness and brings utter darkness into the light. God, you can just think of the Epstein list. Yeah. You know? God. The stuff these guys do if it ever came out, you know? Hosea twelve ten with Bernie. I sent my I sent my prophets to warn you with many visions and parables. No? Well, he speak it through the prophets. I sent my prophets to warn you with the Similitudes? Similitudes, you're saying? Typology? What do you got? A nearly inspired bible? Maybe I'm did it wrong. Let's see. Let me read it. I have also spoken by the prophets, so God is speaking to us through the prophets, right? And so we tie that in with Hebrews one verse one, God who at sundry times in diverse manners has spoken in the past unto us by the prophets, but in these last days is speaking to us through his son, whom he has appointed heir, right? Okay. So I have spoken by the prophets, I have multiplied visions and used similitudes. So what would your word be for that similitudes? Pictures? Types? Visions? Visions? Visions? What's the next word? Visions and Oh, visions and and parables. Parables. There you go. That's it. That's the word I was looking for. Parables. Parables by the ministry of the prophets. So parables, types, and typology. So a real good one to look at is Genesis 22 where you have a picture, a similitude, a parable of John three sixteen through Abraham, as God the father, Isaac, as God the son, the servants that help as a type of the holy spirit, The ram that's caught in the thicket as a type of Christ. Right? So the offering of Isaac, a picture of John three sixteen. Alright. The Passover feast, so many similitudes. God revealing deep secrets but to the natural man, first Corinthians Thomas, two do verse fourteen first. Two fourteen. The natural man First Corinthians two nine. What was the other verses? Nine and ten? Fourteen. I know. Okay. It wanted me to do something else. But I'll do fourteen first. Please. First Corinthians two fourteen. But the natural man receiveth not the things of the spirit of God, for they are foolishness unto him, neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. So let's stop there a second. Paul is desiring to teach and chapter three of first Corinthians, you're babes in Christ because they're carnal. So you can have a Christian that's carnal, it's the Greek word which is fleshly, a fleshly Christian. You got a different type of man. God told Adam and Eve, the day you sin you shall surely die. So they're death spiritually. So they're body and soul. It's a natural man. Nicodemus, you must be born again. When he's born again, he's body, soul, spirit. A triunity. Right? So the natural man, the one that's unregenerate, that doesn't know God, doesn't have the capacity to know the things of the spirit, the deep things of God. Right? Do you understand that? So and and the carnal Christian has to be fed with milk in chapter three as we go from two to three there because they're carnal and Paul's wanting to have some solid food. So they need to they need to operate in Galatians five, yield to the spirit. Don't yield to the flesh. If you walk in the spirit, you don't fulfill the lust of the flesh. So abide in Christ in John 15. Allow his life to flow through you and you'll bear fruit. Right? You're not sweating trying to bear fruit. You just abide. You know, you stay stay at the spot where the glory pops out. Okay. Now, so here's a verse that's misused, I've I've taught it correctly to you for so long. You could you could give it back to me. So first Corinthians, there's First Corinthians. There's classes in seminary that are called spiritual formation, and so this is important for your spiritual formation. First Corinthians nine First Corinthians two nine and ten, but as it is written So what's that but mean in contrast? Connecting to verse Go ahead. But as it is written, I have not seen nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for them that love him. Stop there. So eye has not seen, nor ear heard, neither has it entered in the heart of man the things that God's prepared for them that love him. So the deep things of God. The natural man can't receive those things. Your ears, your eyes, your so these churches are trying to meet people with the five senses. How many sense do have? Five or six? Five. They're trying to be sensory. They're trying to stimulate their senses, the emotional part of their being. Feel good. They're not using the scripture to feed their spirit. Right? So you got a lot of unsaved people in these apostate churches today. And one of the ways you know is they can't handle the word of God. They don't want to know the word of God. They want the message to be one of where they can stay in denial. It's about them. It's self help. It's therapeutic. It's geared toward their humanity. Okay. So eyes not seen nor ear heard, neither has it entered into the heart of men the things which God has prepared for them that love him. Now but go ahead. But Oh, But as it's written, I have not seen nor ear heard, neither have it entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for them that love him. So Thomas, would that be oh, go ahead. But God has revealed them unto us by his spirit for the spirit searches all things, yea, the deep things of God. Do you want me to read verse eight too? Sure. Go ahead. Which none of the princes of this world knew. For if they had not known it, if they had knew it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. Very good. That's very important. That's a good one. Thank you. That ties it in real well. The prince They didn't even know because they're so dead spiritually that they were killing the king of glory. So they're human faculties, eyes not seen their ear, neither is in the heart of man. Think of god's spirit of air, them loveth. So we write songs I can only imagine. And they're taking that verse and they're imagining heaven. Like, we're not there yet. I can only imagine what heaven's like, you know. But he goes on in that verse, but God has revealed them unto us by his spirit. So God is revealing to us in the spiritual realm the things that await those who love him. So we're getting to know the Lord, we're getting to know the deep things of God, the secrets of God, and, we don't have to just imagine. Right? We don't have to just imagine. We can actively grow spiritually because the holy spirit job is to reveal Jesus to us. The unsearchable riches of Christ. Do you see that? So Daniel and these guys, they don't have the indwelling of the holy spirit. The holy spirit comes upon him. That's why David prayed, take not thy holy spirit from me. It wasn't until the comforter came. Jesus said, it's expedient that I be crucified, buried, and I go to the father. Because when I go to the father, I'm gonna send the comforter, the holy spirit to you. So you're gonna have the indwelling of the holy spirit, not just the indwelling, but you're gonna have the api experience that he spoke of in acts one. But you shall receive power, dunamis, dynamic power when the holy spirit comes upon you. So the three ways that we relate with the holy spirit is with, to convict us of sin. And then we come to Christ in when we receive Christ conversion and upon in the baptism of the holy spirit for power for service. Ephesians five eighteen, be not drunk with wine wherein is excess, but be being filled. The Greek tense is continually be being filled to overflowing with the holy spirit. And that's how you serve the Lord in the overflow. Not on, like Rob and Vicky said, were starving. Well, their pastor did them a a dirty because Paul said he gave the full counsel of God. And so as you as you receive the word of God in your heart and life, and as you feast upon God's word, feed my sheep, Peter, then the Holy Spirit fills you up and overflows your life. You can't rely upon yesterday's manna, so it's important that we spend time with the Lord each and every day to be being filled, keep being filled. And that's the secret. That's the way that we get victory over the world, the flesh and the devil because greater is he that's in us than he that's in the world. And since God's for us, who can be against us? Right? So I wanna get to know the Lord. I I wanna get to know him, and it's a it's a spiritual journey to get to know the true and living God. So I thank thee and praise thee, oh, thou God of my fathers. So he's going old school. A whole lot of people don't want to go to their grandparents church. Now we want our own church. We want to drink and smoke and drug and have our own style of Christianity. Yeah. Well, don't don't forsake the borders. Don't go across the established boundaries that God has set within this word, you hipsters. And it didn't bear any fruit. Didn't go anywhere acting like that. I used to get so frustrated with these guys, trying to act like hipsters and if they wanted to see the definition of cool, they just, you know, look up the word in the dictionary and there's a picture of me. So I didn't even have to try. And, but these guys are running around acting like something they're not thinking they're convincing people they're the hip and cool new thing. And it was embarrassing. It's like high school. So you see them prancing around like Peter Pan now, you know? And it's just it's just it's sad. So they went old school, and I like old school. I like the guys that have gone before me. I still ask them ask the Lord to use them to teach me in my life. I still I listen to pastor Chuck today because he teaches the word. It never goes out of style. You know? A lot of the contemporary guys that teach the word, it's hard to find guys. It's hard to find bible teachers, good bible teachers. I love John MacArthur. You know, there's a lot of them that I greatly, greatly respect. And so I'm sad when they go away because who replaces them? So who has given me wisdom and might and has made known unto me now what we desired of thee? So he's saying, the Lord revealed it to me, but we, Shadrach, Meshach, Abednego, we were all we were all praying for wisdom and might and has made known unto me now what we desired of thee, for thou has now made known unto us the king's matter. Why? You wanna stop there? It's 08:18. We'll go a few more? No? What time you guys turn into pumpkins? Alright. We're not we're not a democracy. We're a benevolent dictatorship. I say we keep going. Alright. Alright. Alright. Therefore, went in unto Arioch, whom the king had ordained. So Daniel's gonna give a testimony now. To destroy the wise men of Babylon. And he went and he said thus unto him, destroy not the wise men of Babylon. Bring me in before the king, and I will reveal unto the king the interpretation. And that's a bold thing. Wouldn't that be exciting? It'd be so exciting. You know, sometimes when when we have studied God's word and we have an open door, we just can't wait to tell people what the Lord taught us, what he showed us. You know? I tell Kathy on Saturdays, and Sunday morning, and I just can't wait. I'm so excited. I'm so excited. I'm so excited with what the Lord, you know, has has is showing us. Then Arioch brought in Daniel before the king in haste, better do this quick, and said thus unto him, I have found a man. So now Arioch wants to take credit. Ain't that funny? I have found a man. Well, you know, Arioch has a good relationship with Daniel. That's okay. I have found a man of the captives of Judah that will make known under the king the interpretation. Now how do you think that made the magicians, the astrologers, and the Chaldeans feel? Really? Yeah. Yeah. Rude. Well, he actually saved their life. That's a good point. He saved their life, but ultimately, in most cases, they're jealous, aren't they? And envious. And in time In awe. In awe? Because they said earlier that there's there's no way that this could happen. Right. And it said earlier that no no no one can reveal it to the king except the gods, and they do not live among humans. That's right. So their gods are fake gods. So why by chapter six have they forgotten that lesson? In chapter six, they're angry and jealous of Daniel, and they they said, we can't get him by him doing something wrong. We're gonna have to study him and we're gonna have to catch him in his Christianity. Right? Yeah. So we're gonna have to make a new law. Now do you know that Canada Kathy told me this and there's a lot of stuff Kathy tells me that she's getting online that we find out later isn't true, we're being tricked. Like for instance, on Instagram learning lots of stuff all the time. But she and sometimes if I repeat it, I need to vet it, right? So anyway, she said the other day that Disney owns the rights of the King James Bible. And I thought, them rats. You know, Rupert Murdoch, did that with Zondervan, purchased the publishing rights of Zondervan. And Zondervan began to promote or publish a bunch of false bibles, like the message and that kind of stuff, watering down the NIV and all that. So anyway, she checked into it and said, no, that's not true. That's a rumor. Nobody can own the King James Bible. Praise the Lord. But, where was I going with that? Information. Oh, the stuff that we hear from people. That'll come back to me. Alright, so What was that? Kathy? She's probably telling us right here. No. That was the one she did. There was another one that was true. Oh, I know what it is. I know what it is. Another one she told me. Let's say I'm living in Canada. One time I was at a jury, a jury in Bremerton at the courthouse, and, they said something to the effect of me as a jury, if they're gonna let me be in the jury, that you guys don't need to analyze the law. The judge will interpret and analyze the law. And I said, well, that doesn't go well with me. So I knew the importance of what's called jury nullification which is another check and balance in the system because if it's just a judge we don't need a jury. So I gave an example and I said that doesn't sit well with me and said if I'm preaching the gospel in Canada, they could try me as that's hate speech if I were preaching in front of some people, certain kinds of people. But in America, if that was imposed upon me, I have a first amendment right of free speech and I have freedom of assembly as a church and everything. And, so you can't redefine free speech as hate speech simply because the pastor is, you know, preaching the gospel or whatever. And the attorney that was asking these questions says, well, those are philosophical questions or whatever and so, you know, no, that was our constitution. And one girl over there, who was who knew who I was, she, you're not a lawyer. You don't you can't interpret that. Well, every single citizen better know the bill of rights and the constitution because that's what it's for. If they make laws contrary to the constitution, the constitution saves you, protects you, you know. So if you're an informed juror and you see them railroading a pastor, you're gonna say, oh no no no no. The constitution I may not like him or agree with him, but the constitution gives him the right of free speech. Right? And same thing with Christians. They can't demonize Islam or Buddhism or Confucianism or foreign religious systems. The same privilege I have of religious freedom is the same freedom they have. If you take away theirs, you're gonna take away mine. But that's the trick being put in place that we're all fall under the the tyranny of what they're of what they're, you know, trying trying to bring. So we're gonna give up our our freedom for security. Well, protect me from Islam. They're going to they're going to Texas and they're trying to, you know, build a city. Well, if you churches are so wimpy, in Iran, they're telling us that Islam is dead. They're telling us the mosques are dead, People are coming to Christ. So the only way it can happen in Europe and happen in America is if the church is dead. You know? So it's a spiritual issue that just be strong. Alright. So here you go. So desire to thee for thou hast now made known unto us the king's matter. Therefore, Daniel went in unto Arioch the king and ordained to destroy the wise men of Babylon, went thus unto him to destroy not the wise men of Babylon. Bring me in before the king, and I will reveal unto the king the interpretation. Arioch brought in Daniel before the king in haste and said, thus unto him, I have found a man of the captives of Judah that will make known unto the king the interpretation. Found a man. Who wants to read, Matthew ten twenty six through 33? Matthew ten twenty six through 33. Okay. This is a little deeper than studying the messianic temple. Go ahead. Alright. Fear fear them not therefore, for there is nothing covered that shall not be revealed and hid that shall not be known. When I tell you in darkness that speak ye in light and what ye hear in the ear that preach ye upon the housetops. And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul, but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. Are not two Go ahead. Okay. Are not two sparrows sold for a a farthing? And one of them shall not fall on the ground without your father. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear ye not, therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows. Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men shall, him will I confess also before my father, which is in heaven. But who whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my father, which is in heaven. So Daniel's not backing down. Now he has an opportunity to testify, to give a testimony of the God of heaven that reveals the secret deep things. And Arioch says, I have found a man, one man. And second Chronicles sixteen nine says, the eyes of the Lord go to and fro throughout the whole earth for God to show himself strong on behalf of one man whose heart is perfect for God. God's looking, he's still looking for an Abraham. He's, you know, he's still looking for a Daniel. He's still looking for men and women, you know, a queen Esther whose heart is perfect toward God. Their undivided heart. Lord, I'm all yours. Whatever you want. You want me to die? I don't fear who those who can kill my body. I fear you, Lord. You know? So the devil ultimately will use you're gonna lose your job. You're gonna lose your house. Well, the book of acts, they'll lose their life. You know? You guys shut up or we're gonna kill you. 6,000,000 Christians of first two centuries refused to say Caesar is lord. They settled in their heart. 99% of your rules, Rome, will will abide by. But that one thing, going to the temple and deifying you, we will not do. Jesus is Lord. So Jesus is don't fear those who can kill the body. Fear him. Fear God that can not only kill their body and cast their souls into hell. You know? God's the one that decides. And so, shout it from the rooftops. Don't be afraid of these guys. So one is found, and that's Daniel. The king answered and said to Daniel, whose name was Belteshazzar, art thou able? So this is a this is a a sticky thing here. When God starts to use you, don't take his glory. Don't take his glory. People are gonna wanna worship you and exalt you and promote you and woo hoo, you know. I'm a Paul. I'm a Wallace. Don't do it. And, even the angels wouldn't receive the glory when John the beloved twice in the book of Revelation, you know, bowed down to the angels. Don't bow don't worship angels. Worship God. You know? The king answered and said to Daniel, whose name was Belshazzar, are thou able to make known unto me the dream which I have seen and the interpretation of it? Can you do both? Can you tell me the dream and the interpretation? Daniel answered in the presence of the king and said, the secret which the king has demanded cannot the wise men listen to that. First of all, he's he's setting the stage. He's letting them know. Cannot the wise men, the astrologers, the magicians, the soothsayers reveal unto the king. So as Thomas read in first Corinthians two verse 14, the natural man understands not the things of not God neither can he know them. So the source of the secret thing is not through the demons, it's from God. God wants to reveal himself to you and I. But there is a God in heaven, so again, the God of heaven, God of creation. God of heaven in verse 30 verse 49 and previously in verse 19. God of heaven, who reveals secrets and maketh known to the king Nebuchadnezzar what shall be, notice, in the latter days. Remember that? The latter days. So this is prophetic. This is going to telescope through four major kingdoms. It's gonna telescope in the tribulation period. It's gonna telescope under the millennium where the Messiah is gonna rule and reign. So thy dreams and the visions of the head upon the bed are these. As for thee, o king, thy thoughts came into your mind upon thy bed, what should come to pass hereafter, future. And he who reveal his secrets makes known to thee what shall come to pass. So future prophetic events, pertaining to the last days. Now in chapter 12, you remember we're gonna Daniel's gonna be told, shut it up. Seal the book. You know, seal that part of it. When knowledge increase, there'll be more information given. But as for me, the secret is not revealed to me for any wisdom that I have. So he's deflecting the praise, the honor, the glory. He's given it to God, which is so important. There's three g's that destroy you as a Christian. Three things that will destroy you. Three g's. Three things that you take that you shouldn't take. Number one, the gold. Don't be a Judas and steal God's money. Right? Number two is the girls. Many a man like Samson has fallen because of the girls. You know a myriad of pastors that have fallen because they've cheated on their wives and messed around. And the third one is the glory. You don't take God's glory. Alright. So remember that. And Nebuchadnezzar, what shall be in the latter days, visions of thy head upon thy better king? Let's see here. It should come to pass thereafter, and he who reveals secrets makes known to thee what shall come to pass. But as for me, this secret not revealed to me for any wisdom that I have more than any living, but for their sakes that shall make known the interpretation. So this was for you, King Nebbe. This was so you could understand what that dream means. And secondly, because knowledge pops up but love edifies. It's one thing to know about God, even greater to know God. So this has happened to you not only that you might know what God's going to do in the future through you and through others, but Nebby so that you could know God. And Nebby, I believe comes to know the Lord in chapter four. He 's eating grass for seven years and after that, he's a different man. Right? He's like Jonah in the alright. But as for me, the secret is not revealed to me for any wisdom that I have more than any living, but for their sake, that shall make known the interpretation of the king and that thou mightest know the thoughts of your heart. So God's wanting King Nebbe to know him. And we could do an extra study on the phrase last days, in the latter days. I got a bunch here but we'll do it next week. So remind me, we're gonna start with the latter days. We're gonna go over verses that pertain to the latter days, and then we'll move on through. Okay. So you mind me? Mhmm. Okay. Yeah. Alright. Well, let's pray. Father, we thank you for the time that we've been able to spend in your word. And, Lord, I I thank you that we're not in a rush, that we can, pick it back up next week. And I pray that that which you reveal to us, Lord, that it sink down deep within our hearts. And, Lord, that we cherish, that we get really excited about the fact that Lord, we're born from above, we're born of the spirit, that, your Holy Spirit is revealing you to us, empowering us to live the Christian life. That Lord, we don't need to walk in darkness, that we can walk in the light, that we can get to know you more and more each and every day. And Lord, I just cherish the fact that I'm not like a dumb stump anymore. That you enlighten me, you awaken me, you quicken me as in Ephesians two from the dead, that I'm alive. And Lord, that, in that in that newness of life, Lord, I'm able to have fellowship with you. So please, Lord, to reveal yourself to us and help us to be so excited about getting to know you. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
