Live from Bremerton. It's Monday night. Let's pray. Father, we come before you, and we pray that you bless this bible study tonight, this time of worshiping you. Thank you for the meal we're able to, share in, and, thank you for those who provided food and for Rob and Vicky opening their home. And we just commit this night into your hands and pray that you'd be our teacher, that you'd encourage us. And, Lord, we lift up Thomas Poole's jacket with his ID and everything that's in it. Lord, we pray that you would cause it to surface and that somebody call him with the ID there and say, hey. They have the jacket, that he would be reunited with his jacket and his guitar and everything else that he's ever lost, Lord. Help him find it all. In Jesus' name, amen. Alright. Thanks, Rob. Okay. We are in Ezekiel chapter 43. Ezekiel 43. And let's pray again. Father, we thank you for the sweet time of worship. And now as we study your word, Lord, please open the scriptures to our understanding. And, I lift up my dad to you, and I pray that you would heal him. I pray that you would comfort him. I pray, Lord, I trust in your sovereign decision, Lord, of of healing him, restoring him, or taking him home, Lord. Your will be done and keep him keep him comfortable there and use them with the nurses and my brothers and family members there and just bless, Lord, in Jesus' name. Amen. Okay. Temple Mount. The we're studying the future. The future temple. So how many temples are slated for the nation of Israel? How many temples? Three. What's the first one? Solomon's Solomon's Good job. What's the second temple? What happened to the first temple? What happened to the first temple? It was broken. What's that? Destroyed by the Babylonians. And that triggered what's called the times of the Gentiles. Right? And times of the Gentiles means that the Gentiles are dominant over the Temple Mount. Right? Over the temple area. And and so the next seventy years, the children of Israel spent in captivity in Babylon. And then at the end of that seventy years, what happened? Cyrus Good try. To go. Good try. Yeah. Cyrus. Cyrus. Cyrus. That was a good one. Cyrus. Yeah. You guys are great students. Cyrus gave gave permission. Well, actually, you're saying when the command go restore and rebuild Jerusalem to come in beside the prince. So Nehemiah chapter two, Artaxerxes Lodimannus gave the command. Cyrus, before him, gave permission. And and so Nehemiah and Ezra the priest and Zerubbabel and Joshua were a part of what's called the second temple period of the rebuilding of the of the first temple. So if you go to Israel today, they will show you the ruins of what's called the second temple period. What happened in seventy AD to that second temple? Romans took it down. Right? And Jesus wept over the city and told them that not one stone remained upon another and within forty years the Romans put a siege upon the city and and millions of people died as a as a result thereof. So presently, we don't have a temple there. The nation of Israel, diaspora, they were spread all over the world and left the nation. And then on 05/14/1948, Israel was reborn as a nation, so they've been in the land since '48 officially. And and what is the prospect of another temple being built? It's gonna be the Antichrist Temple. The Antichrist Temple, Rob says. Exactly. And so on 04/14/2025, just happened, on the first day of Passover, there was a 43% increase in Jews coming to the Temple Mount to celebrate Passover and interest in the rebuilding of the temple. 200,000 Jewish visitors. Also what happened during this time frame is Mike Huckabee, who is an ambassador from president Trump to the nation of Israel, went with a signed note from president Trump and put within the rocks of the Great Wall. You ever been there? And you take a little prayer request and you put them, and the prayer request was for the peace of Israel. Israel be at peace. In 2017, president Trump himself went there, and so this time a handwritten letter, prayer for peace at the Western Wall. And so what's happening is people are getting excited excited because there's very little resistance and whatever resistance there is to the rebuilding of the temple by the enemies of the Jews, it just dissipates. So there's more and more excitement building about the rebuilding of the third temple. What's that mean for you and I? Closer to the rapture. Closer to the rapture. Right? Because the temple is going to be the tribulation temple, the third temple, the antichrist temple, the beast system, and and we are going to be raptured before the signing of the peace treaty, Daniel nine twenty seven, which starts the tribulation period. So as we're looking forward, there has to be in the beast system, you know, an economic system, religious system, and I just saw where Syria is asking for admittance in the Abraham Accord, which is a peace process of of trying to bring the Muslims with the Jews and all. And the house of Abraham is an effort to get the one world religious system going there and then a one world governmental system. So when in 1967, some feel that when Israel went to war with the Turks, the Turks had maintained control of the Temple Mount area. But 1967, the Jerusalem was liberated. And some hold that that the times of the Gentiles ended there, but others would say no. It's because the Antichrist is gonna come back in and according to Zechariah 12, going to push all the Jews off out of there and take control. So the Antichrist deceives the nation of Israel in being a peacemaker and helping to rebuild the temple and all. And at the midpoint, Jesus said in Matthew twenty four fifteen that when you see the abomination of desolation spoken of by Daniel the prophet, go into the holy place, you know, then you then you know. And and so that's the abomination of desolation spoken of by Daniel the prophet. The eyes of the Jews are open that they've been tricked, and then the last three and a half years of the tribulation period is an intense antisemitism from the antichrist in the world, and they will the nation of Israel try to fight, but Zechariah 12, the nation of Israel loses, so the Temple Mount is secured by the Gentile Gentiles, the Antichrist led by the Gent Antichrist, and and they flee. The Jews begin to flee Jerusalem once again. So they lose possession of the area. So really the end of the times of the Gentiles at the return of Jesus, and when he returns, he's gonna rule and reign for a thousand years. And one of the things that's gonna take place is God's gonna rebuild the temple, and it's going to be the fourth temple, and it's going to be some call it Ezekiel's Temple, and it's gonna be built upon Mount Zion. And Mount Zion's gonna take on some geographical changes because when Jesus steps foot, when he walks up the Mount Of Olives into the city, there's a earthquake and a breaking and water coming out down to the Dead Sea and so we talked about the size of the mountain area. Would we say how big the area was last last time? 10 miles. 10 mile area and then a one mile area of for the temple. Yeah. So a huge temple. So now the return of the Lord, the return of Jesus, the king, you know, into the temple precinct area. So afterward, he brought me this is gonna be the Shekinah glory of God filling the temple. So afterward, he brought me to the gate, even to the gate that look at toward the east and behold now the Turks when they had control of the temple area, they knew bible prophecy and they knew that the Messiah was gonna enter through the East Gate. So you know what they did? They blocked it up. Right? So how is it these guys can know Bible prophecy but Christians have a replacement theology that that's never gonna happen? How is that? That's just crazy, isn't it? They think it's all already happened in seventy AD and and, you know, there's not gonna be any millennium or millennial temple or or any of that. And pretty sad, isn't it? Pastor? Yeah? Wouldn't the Turks or the Muslims, wouldn't they also be considered Gentiles? Yeah. So they're still kinda in trouble. Isn't that what you do? Right? Well, no. Because they don't have control of the Temple Mount period. The nation of Israel in the sixty seven war gained control. Although the Dome Of The Rock, they haven't gotten rid of that. Yeah. They're subservient to Jewish rule at the temple. But the Jews can't totally get rid of all of them because of the political outcry of it all. But like you're alluding to, president Trump and the United Nations and the nations of the world put a lot of pressure upon Israel about what they can and cannot do on the temple, you know, in Jerusalem, in the Temple Mount area. So there's a lot of political pressure on them and even to the point of dividing the temple area and allowing the Muslims to have space there. So that's why some talk about a wall that'll be built and give the Gentiles the one side and the Jews will have the other side in the book of Revelation. So so, yeah, I view it the times of the Gentiles ends with the coming of Jesus. And some look at it as a partial fulfillment of in 1967. Alright. So afterward he brought me to the gate, even to the gate that looketh toward the east. And and behold the glory of the Lord, the Shekinah glory of God came from the way of the East and his voice was like a noise of many waters. We read that in Revelation one verse 15 that his voice was like the voice, it's speaking of Jesus, the voice of many waters. And the earth shined with his glory. In second in Habakkuk two fourteen, it says, the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord. And we're gonna look at some verses that speak of of this glory, the Shekinah glory, and the second coming of the Lord. And it was according to the appearance of the vision which I saw, even according to the vision that I saw when I came to destroy the city. So it's the Lord speaking here and earlier when he came to to destroy it in Ezekiel one four through 28 Ezekiel saw vision and And then now and the vision were like the vision that I saw by the River Chebar, I fell upon my face. And so Ezekiel is being taken up again in the in the in the spiritual realm and nineteen years earlier in Ezekiel chapter 10 verse 18, the glory of the Lord had departed from the city and and the glory of the Lord departed from the East Gate. If you look at Ezekiel chapter 10 verses eighteen and nineteen, the departure Ichabod, the the phrase Ichabod means the glory has departed. Now nineteen years later, Ezekiel gets a vision of the time of the millennium, the thousand year rule and reign of Jesus, and letting him know that when this fourth temple is built, and this fourth temple is gonna be built by God, God's the one that's gonna build it. He just given the dimensions of it all, of how big it's going to be, but but it's it's it's the Lord that's gonna build it. And the glory of the Lord came into the house by way of the gate whose prospect is toward the east. So the spirit took me up. So like John the revelator caught up in the spirit, you get to see a whole dimension. The apostle Paul was caught up to the third heaven. He said he knew a man whether in the body or not in the body caught up to the third heaven. So you're caught up to to a totally different dimension and able to see like in a time machine, able to see the future. So the spirit took me up and brought me into the inner court and behold the glory of the Lord filled the house. So the Shekinah glory of God. And let's look at some verses that that describe the Shekinah glory of God. Who wants second Chronicles five verse 14? I can do it. Okay. And who wants Exodus thirteen twenty one and twenty two? Exodus thirty three nine and ten. Exodus sixteen ten. Exodus nineteen nine. Exodus twenty four fifteen through 18. Okay. How how about numbers fifteen? Nine fifteen. Nine fifteen? Nine fifteen. I'll do it. Right? Okay. And I'm gonna back off of some of them. There's lots of them. How about on the New Testament, Luke one thirty five? Luke one thirty five. Amen, brother. How about Luke nine thirty four and thirty five? I'll do thirty four and thirty five. Okay. How about acts one nine? One nine? Anybody? Okay. And how about Luke twenty one twenty seven? I'll do it. And Revelation one verse seven? I'll do it. Okay. And then we'll finish up with the Lord's return. And guess where he's gonna return? Matthew twenty four twenty seven and Matthew 24 verse 30. 24 verse 30. Yep. Twenty four twenty seven. Twenty four twenty seven. He exited out the East gate, and he's coming back into the East gate. Right? Okay. Exodus thirteen twenty one through 22. What was that? Was it 31? Exodus thirteen twenty one. Okay. And the Lord went before them by day in a pillar of cloud and led them the way, and by night in a pillar of fire to give them light to go by day and night. Turn the page. He took away excuse me. He took not away the pillar of the cloud by day nor the pillar of fire by night from before the people. So Moses saw a burning bush, the glory the Shekinah glory of God. The three wise men are there three? How many wise men? I don't know. Three. Was there three? How many? How many? Yeah. Okay. The wise men that came from the East, they saw a star. Yeah. A star that moved. That's the Shekinah glory of God. Yes, ma'am. And it hovered over the house where the babe was two years old. Okay. So the Shekinah glory of God, the the shining bright. Numbers nine fifteen is a duplicate of what Rob just read. Who's next? Exodus thirty three nine and ten? And it came to pass when Moses entered the tabernacle that the pillar of cloud descended and stood at the door of the tabernacle, and the Lord talked with Moses. All the people saw the pillar of cloud standing at the tabernacle door, and all the people rose and worshiped each man in his tenth door. Okay. So the tabernacle, the Shekinah glory of God shows up. And Exodus sixteen ten. And it seemed to pass as Aaron spake unto the whole congregation of the children of Israel that they looked towards the wilderness and behold, the glory of the Lord appeared in the cloud. Did we do nineteen nine? I'm doing it right now. Okay. And the Lord said unto Moses, lo, I come unto thee in a thick cloud and the people may hear when I speak with thee and believe thee forever. And Moses told told the words of the people unto the Lord. And so Moses when he goes up to receive the Decalogue, his face is shining bright. Right? The afterglow and Paul tells us that he wore a veil so they couldn't see the fading glory. Exodus twenty four fifteen through 18. And Moses went up into the mountain and a cloud covered the mountain and the glory of the Lord abode upon Mount Sinai. And the cloud covered it six days. And the seventh day, he called unto Moses out of the midst of the cloud. In the sight of the glory of the Lord was like devouring fire on the top of the mountain in the eyes of the children of Israel. And Moses went into the midst of the cloud and got him up into the mount. And Moses was in the mount forty days and forty nights. Isn't that awesome? Amazing. Nobody can see God in the fullness of his glory and live. Right? Numbers nine fifteen. So the children of Israel, when they're coming, you know, into that cul de sac and that they're pushed into a corner, and the Egyptian the Egyptian army is coming to get them. You know, the lord the lord protects them with a pillar of fire by night and a cloud by day. Now cloud by day when they're in the wilderness to shield them from the heat of the sun and and a pillar of fire by night to protect them from their from their enemies. Alright. Who's next? Did anybody go we didn't we didn't go numbers eleven twenty five, twelve five, sixteen forty two. Leviticus sixteen two. What was next was Luke one There we go. At the conception of Mary. Luke one thirty five, I got it. It says, and the angel answered and said unto her, the holy ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the highest shall overshadow thee. Therefore, that holy thing, I don't know why it says thing, which shall be from of thee shall be called the son of God. Amen. Amen. Thank you, Thomas. Thank you. And then we've got Luke nine thirty four and thirty five. While he thus spoke, there came a cloud and overshadowed the overshadowed them, and they feared as they entered into the cloud. And there came a voice out of the cloud saying, this is my beloved son. Hear him. And when was that? At transfiguration. Right? Mount Of Transfiguration. Now at the Ascension, acts one nine. Anybody get that? Acts one nine. Don't I know. Acts one nine? Twenty one. I don't think anybody got that. Oh, okay. Well, at the Ascension, he's he's caught up in a cloud up on on up into heaven. Right? Alright. Luke at his return. Luke twenty one twenty seven. Behold, she come. She come. Oh, sounds biblical. Twenty one twenty seven. Okay. At that time, they will see the son of man coming in the cloud with power and great glory. In Revelation one seven. Behold, he cometh with clouds and every eye shall see him and they also which pierced him and all kindred of the earth shall wail because of him even so. Amen. Amen. And Matthew twenty four twenty seven. For the lightning cometh out of the east and shineth even unto the west, so shall also the coming of the son of man be. Is that verse 30? What direction was that? East to what? East to west. K. And then shall appear the sign of the son of man in heaven, and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. Amen. Amen. With power and great glory. It's our alright. So so we see the glory of the Lord's gonna fill this new temple, the fourth temple, the millennial temple. Some feel that this is not gonna happen. It's allegorical. It's it's symbolic. There isn't really gonna be a a thousand year rule and reign of Jesus upon the earth. I'm kinda excited that there is. I'm excited that you and I are gonna be kings and priests ruling and reigning with Jesus, and I'm excited to know that Jesus is gonna be leading a theocracy as king of kings and lord of lords. And as we'll see here in this chapter, David as as his prince, and that's very exciting to me. And so when when Ezekiel saw this vision, we're like the vision I saw by the River Chebar, notice his response, I fell upon my face. And that's the response of somebody with an encounter sometimes with an angel and sometimes with God. In Revelation chapter 19 verse 10, John the revelator had an angel that appeared to him and he fell down to worship that angel, and the angel told him to stand up. Don't worship me. Only worship God. You don't worship angels. You don't worship the angel Moroni. You know? In Revelation 22 verse nine, same thing happened again. John got a revelation, an angel was there and John went down to worship the angel. These are bright ones, they're pretty bright, and the angel said, see thou do it not, you know, worship God. And Paul and Barnabas in acts 14, they were coming into the city, I think it's Antioch, and and the priest there said one is Mercury, one is Jupiter, and they began to take garlands and ready to sacrifice animals under under Paul and Barnabas. And they said, don't do that. Don't do that. You know, they're worshiping them as gods. We're men of like passions as ye. We're just like you. We're flesh and bone. And then Daniel chapter 10, Daniel bowed down to an angel and the angel told him to stand up. And then there's an interesting one in Joshua chapter five verses 13 through 15. Joshua is bowing down and he's like, you for us or against us? Somebody wanna read that? Read it. This is really cool. Joshua five thirteen through 15. This is a Sunday school lesson right here. Kathy? Joshua five thirteen through 15. Anybody there? Want me to read it? So I'll go ahead and read it since I got the mic right here. Okay. So Joshua five thirteen through 15. And it came to pass when Joshua was by Jericho that he lifted up his eyes and looked and behold there stood a man over against him with his sword drawn in his hand. And Joshua went unto him and said unto him, art thou for us or for our adversaries? Joshua did not recognize him. You a friend or a foe? And he said, no. But as a captain of the host of the Lord am I now come. I'm the captain of the Lord's hosts of all the angels. And Joshua fell on his face to the earth and did worship and said unto him, what saith my Lord unto his servant? And the captain of the Lord's hosts said unto Joshua, loose thy shoe off your off your foot. Yeah, princess. Take your shoe off, princess. For the place whereon thou standest is holy and Joshua did so. So why didn't this man, the captain of the Lord's host, tell Joshua to stop worshiping and stand up? Jesus. Jesus. Because that's Jesus. That's Jesus. Alright. So when you see That's a clue. When you see yeah. That's a clue. When you see the man receiving the worship, you know it's God. It's what we call a Christophany or a Theophany, and it's a pre incarnate appearance of Christ. Pre incarnate before he comes forth through the womb of of Mary. I thought I thought Jesus came Oh, the fourth one? The fourth one. Yeah. Fourth in there. Yeah. He's yeah. That is true. Yeah. You're right. As they're there in the fourth and and Nebbe says, and he's as the son of God. I thought you were alluding to the three Hebrew children. Okay. But yeah, that was a good one, Thomas. Good. And there's other there's other Christophanies times when the Lord appears. And so we've got the fell on his face, got the Shekinah glory coming through the East Gate and and the Lord filled the house and who wants to read Revelation twenty one three and Revelation twenty one twenty three? Twenty one twenty three? Mhmm. And the spirit took me up and brought me into the inner court and behold, the glory of the lord filled the house. The glory of the lord. We we crave the glory of the Lord. Amen. We crave to be with the Lord. We crave the living water. Right? Revelation twenty one three. And I heard a great voice of heaven saying, behold, the tabernacle of God is with men and he will dwell with them and they shall be his people and God himself shall be with them and be their God. So after the millennium, Revelation twenty one and twenty two, the eternal state, new heaven, new earth comes down out of heaven and God is tabernacling in his glory among men. Revelation twenty one twenty three. And the city had no need of the sun neither of the moon to shine in it. For the glory of God did lighten it, and the lamb is the light thereof. God is the light of the world. Right? Amen. And the Shekinah glory of God's gonna light the city up. I I guess there was a blackout today in Portugal in places like that. Uh-huh. Is that right? Portugal and and all that I read. And they just need the Lord to show up there. Right? Amen. And light it up. Had a power power outage. Now we saw in second Chronicles five fourteen, who read that one? Nobody. Read that? Oh, are you gonna read it? I was gonna read it. Okay. Please. I love that one. I love that one. Tell yeah. Read the Okay. So the priest could not stand and minister by raising of the cloud for the glory of the Lord had filled the house of God. So we're reading about the fourth temple being filled with the kind of glory. Solomon's temple that Debbie just read once it was being dedicated and the glory filled it, the priest couldn't even stand because of how bright and how powerful the Shekinah glory was and they they dropped to the ground. They put their faces to the ground. Right? Okay. Verse six. And I heard him speaking unto me out of the house and the man stood by me. And so this is the angel of chapter 40 verse three. And he said unto me, son of man, the place of my throne and the place of the sole of my feet where I will dwell in the midst of the children of Israel forever in my holy name shall the house of Israel no more defile neither they nor the kings by their harlotry nor by the carcass carcasses of the kings in their high places. So this is God with us, Emmanuel, God with us gonna dwell there and and the angels letting them know that. And and so the we shall call his name Emmanuel, which is god with us. Right? And so the tabernacle of god's gonna be among men, and and that's very exciting to know that our sins are forgiven and that we get to dwell with the Lord. Adam and Eve got expelled from the garden. They felt naked. They tried to cover that nakedness with fig leaves, and the Lord gave them coats of skins signifying that the lamb of God, the virgin born son of God would take away the sins of the world and that God would provide a new covenant, you know, that he would provide a way for us to be redeemed and forgiven and restored and have a new glorified body. The first Adam failed, the last Adam doesn't fail. And so here we are. And he says Israel forever in this holy name shall the house of Israel no more defile neither they nor their kings by their harlotry nor by their carcasses of the kings in their high places. So no more compromise. When the children of Israel were tired of the theocracy and they wanted to have a king like all the other nations, God told Samuel Samuel, they haven't rejected you, they've rejected me. And when you have human government, there's a whole lot of compromises being made and a whole lot of corruption, whole lot of dead bodies, dead kings all around the temple precinct area. And and then also we're gonna see in the millennial temple, there's a there's a need of consecration. There's a need of purification. There's a need of the children of Israel remembering in the time of Manasseh and at other times how they desecrated the temple. And and so the Lord through the sacrificial system as a memorial and as a means of consecration is the emphasis upon the millennial temple. There needs to be holiness holiness under the Lord. There's gonna be sinners in the millennium. The Gentiles that repopulate during that thousand years are going to sin. They're in their their human bodies. You and I are in our new glorified bodies. We're not gonna be sinning anymore. And according to Jeremiah thirty one thirty one, the Jews, that one third remnant along with a 144,000 Jews that enter the millennium, they're perfect also. They have their new glorified bodies. And so but there is going to be sin and we see in Isaiah 11 where the curse is reversed and we're gonna see the animal life peaceful with children. Right? With the wolf and the lion and little child leading them and the adder's den, a child near the snake snake hole, the hole of the snake and nobody in jeopardy, nobody nobody no danger in that way. But there will be sin and they the heart of man illustrated at the end of the millennium where the end where the devil's loosed and exposes the heart of men in their rebellion toward God. So they'll they'll obey the Lord because he's gonna rule and reign with a rod of righteousness. Paul tells Timothy that the law is for the, you know, for the sinner. And so we need the law presently, the Mosaic law or hopefully a Judeo Christian ethic because the heart of man's wicked. And so the law keeps man in check, keeps man in place. If there's lawlessness, then men are free to commit more and more crimes. And so god's a god of order and he gave human government as a as a means of trying to deal with a fallen world, men with an endemic nature, and he gave the sword to human government to enforce the law. And so the law is good. The problem is man. Man is wicked. Alright. So the death penalty works, just so you know. Guys that commit crimes worthy of death, they don't commit anymore after execution. It works. But the the releasing these guys that have committed heinous crimes, they repeat, don't they? Yep. Over and over and over. And so, anyway, God's way works. Alright. So in their setting, in their threshold, by the threshold and by their post, by my post in the wall between me and them, they they have defiled my holy name by their abominations that they have committed wherefore I have consumed them in mine anger. So God is a consuming fire. He purified, you know, you think of that seventy five day interval at the end of the tribulation period and the return of the Lord and and then that thirteen hundred and thirty fifth day that's described in in Daniel chapter 12, and that seventy five day interval, many many feel that the Lord's going to purify. He's gonna he's gonna purify the planet from all of the cataclysm and everything that took place during the tribulation period. And so he's describing that here, all that defilement and all that that everything that's all messed up. Peter says, ultimately, the earth is gonna be consumed by fire, and we get a new heaven, new earth in Revelation twenty one and twenty two during the eternal state. And now let them put away their harlotry and their carcasses of their kings far from me and I will dwell in the midst of them forever. So there's he's looking back to what caused him to Ichabod, what caused the glory of the Lord to depart was all the abominations and all the filthiness and everything. And he's letting them know that this time when he comes back through that east gate that he shut in. He's never going to depart again from them, that he's gonna stay there. And Deuteronomy four twenty four says he's a consuming fire. Deuteronomy nine verse three, he's a consuming fire. And we're reminded in Hebrews 12 verse 29 that our gods are consuming fire to those that are that are rebellious. Their sin's gonna find them out and you can fall down upon this rock and you can be broken or one day the rock's gonna fall upon you and grind you to powder. It's better to fall upon Jesus the rock and be broken before him in repentance and humility than to be puffed up and prideful and force him to where he has to judge you and he that rock is gonna crush you and grind you to powder. And so to the children of Israel, Ezekiel or excuse me, Zechariah thirteen eight nine, a one third remnant is going to go through the fire, fire purifying the fire of the tribulation period to prepare that one third remnant for fellowship with God in the in the millennium. Now son of man, show the house to the house of Israel that they may be ashamed of their iniquity and let them measure the pattern. And so God's a God of order. He's a holy God, and he's going to remind them as a memorial, as a means of consecration, that he is holy and what caused the discipline that he had to bring. And and so remind them by way of remembrance. And if they be ashamed of all that they have done, show them the form of the house and the fashion of it and the egresses and all of that. So Ezekiel's there with a rebellious group of people that have rebelled against God and the Lord's wanting Ezekiel to remind these guys of of what caused the discipline and then as a means of encouragement to show them the intention of God to build, you know, the temple once again and to rule and reign among them during the millennium. And he's trying to bring them to repentance. And if they be ashamed of all that they have done, show them all the form of the house and the fashion of it and the egress of it and the entrance of it and the forms of it and all the ordinances and all of its forms and all of its laws and write it in their sight that they may keep the whole form of it and all of its ordinances and do them. So an emphasis upon being obedient, upon doing, not just hearing, and the importance here is fellowship. The purpose of the kingdom system, this system, is number one as a memorial, That we're not re inaugurating the Mosaic Law. It's not going to be the Mosaic Law during the millennium. It's a kingdom system or kingdom law. And so number one, the purpose that of memorial. The intention of the Mosaic law was to stop every mouth, to make the Jews, the Gentiles, everybody guilty. So it would it would it was a tutor or a pedagogue to drive us to Christ. By the works of the law shall no flesh be justified. We can be perfect with the law and missing one point, we're guilty of the whole law. The wages of sin is death. The law condemns us. And it's not that the law is bad, the law is good. It shows us the holiness of God, shows us his standards and and and should, you know, with a proper attitude rather than act like a pharisee that you can keep it outwardly and be a be a poser. Instead the the law is internal. And so Jesus said if you look upon a woman with lust in your heart, you're already guilty of adultery. If you're angry with your brother, you're already guilty of murder. So the law's intention is to stop every mouth and cause the only way of escape from judgment is that of Jesus. Whosoever calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. So there's the so theological, there's a salvation that they're gonna enjoy, but the intention during the millennium is as a memorial like we look back at on communion, this do in remembrance of means. So the Jews will look back at the sacrificial system as a means of memorial. Secondly, the second purpose of the millennial system is fellowship for the saint, the millennial saints. How many how many saints are there? Old Testament saints? Yeah. The church age saints? Church age saints? Millennial saints. Millennial The millennial saints, as a means of fellowship, they are they're going to confess their sin. He's faithful and just to forgive them their sin and cleanse them all in righteousness. Hebrews ten one through four, it's impossible that the blood of bulls and the bullocks could take away sin, but the sacrificial system is a means of of those who sin, the millennial saints, those who sin during the millennium, they have a way of restoring fellowship through confession. The other one is the third reason is ritual cleansing. There's a means of an emphasis upon all of the furnishings and all of the the altar and all of this is where God's gonna dwell, so you don't want that defiled. So there's an emphasis upon the the priests that are gonna work there, the priests of Zadok, the sons of Zadok, there's a means of keeping the temple clean and pure and and looking right rather than the time of the Teiches Epiphanes where he went into the temple, the second temple period, and took a pig and desecrated the temple in that way in the time of of of the Hanukkah, the festival of lights. I always forget these guys' names, but the sons of Maccabean. Maccabean. The Maccabean. Thank you, Eddie. The Maccabean, the sons of Joseph Maccabees, and they they fought against the Taekes Epiphanes, and they prevailed and they went in and kept the menorah going. They kept the oil in the menorah, the light continuing, and Jesus participated in this festival of lights in the gospel of John you can read about that. So the fourth reason is a theocracy. God is wanting the people upon the planet to experience the blessing of walking in obedience. So he's gonna rule and reign with a rod of righteousness but the people that are on this planet need to experience and know that if they obey the Lord, there's gonna be blessings in their life. And if they don't obey the Lord, then then there's gonna be consequences. So somebody wanna read Zechariah fourteen sixteen through 21 to illustrate the consequences of disobedience during the millennium? See, there's gonna be a law, a system of law. Oh, yeah. What did you say? What is Zechariah? Zechariah fourteen sixteen through 21. So Habakkuk two fourteen while he's getting there, for the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord. So the Gentiles are gonna be filled. The whole earth's gonna be filled with the glory of the lord. Even the cows are gonna have things around their neck saying, holiness unto god, you know, little little things. Everything's gonna be about holiness and and a holy god. Zechariah fourteen sixteen through 21, all of the people on the planet need to participate in the feast of tabernacles year by year. And if they don't, this is what happens. Alright. And it shall come to pass that everyone who left of all the nations which come against Jerusalem shall go up from year to year to worship the king, the Lord of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles, and it shall be that whichever of the families of the earth do not come up to Jerusalem to worship the king, the lord of hosts, on them, there will be no rain. If the family of Egypt will not come up and enter in, they shall have no rain. They shall receive the plague with which the Lord strikes the nations who do not come up to keep the feast of tabernacles. This shall be the punishment of Egypt and the punishment of all nations that do not come up to keep the feast of tabernacles. In that day, holiness to the Lord shall be engraved on the bells of the horses, the pots in the Lord's house shall be like the bowls before the altar. Yes, every pot in Jerusalem and Judah shall be holiness to the Lord of hosts. Everyone who sacrifices shall come and take them and cook in them. In that day, there shall no longer be a Canaanite in the house of the Lord. So if I was Amish and I had some horses, I'd put bells around their neck and engrave on it holiness under the Lord. Right? Why would I do that? Just to identify with this period of time here. So you're gonna have people that that still could be disobedient, but if they're gonna come into the temple that we're just studying, they need to do things right decently and in order, And we study that in first Corinthians chapter 14. Everything's to be done decently in order. The time that we're living in now, part of my frustration that I'm feeling of frustration as a pastor is the apostasy is upon us. The apostasy means rebellion. Rebellion against God and rebellion against And his and we have a mixed multitude of people like Moses did where you have sheep and goats and you got tares and wheat and you got people that think they've been saved three years but they think they're so incredibly smart. They think they're they're smug and they're not teachable. They're not teachable. So when you try to correct them and teach the word, you know, so many people who listen to YouTube prophets and aberrant heretical teaching, they got these crazy ideas and stuff and it's incredibly frustrating to have to try and teach and bring correction where they don't receive it. You know? Where they just they just they just like, who do you think you are? Well, that's where there needs to be leadership. And in our little church, something all of you need to understand is at times when we go out to lunch, I'm your friend. K? And we'll joke and we'll play and we'll do whatever, you know, picnics, all that kind of thing. I'm your friend. But when we're at church or I'm at bible study, I'm your pastor. And as a pastor, I have to lead. And you need to understand, we're not co leading. We're co laboring, but we're not co leading. We're not it's not a democracy. It's a it's a benevolent dictatorship. Okay? And and if you don't understand that, you're gonna have trouble because because everything's to be done decently in no order. And it's not a clown show. It's not make it up as you go. There's a certain protocol and all. And if if somebody tries to introduce heresy into the church it's not unloving of me to try and stop it, to try and keep it from permeating, from spreading and all. So if you see me pull a stick out and have to smack a goat or smack a a rebellious sheep, you know, I I have to do it as a shepherd. Although, so there's rod and his staff, they comfort me. You know, they pull me out of the ditch and get me going again. So the chief shepherd requires that the under shepherds, as Paul is talking to them in acts chapter 20, that they take heed over the flock which the lord has purchased with his own blood. The most heinous crime within the church is heresy because people will get off track and some people are going to perish and be shipwrecked in their faith if you don't nip it in the bud and stop the heresy. The devil wants to undermine the word of God. And the Laodicean church Laodicean means people rule. So it happens with the Elastes Apostate Church. Everybody thinks they're in charge. Everybody's got an opinion about the millennium or the rapture or, you know, whatever. If there is the earth flat? Is it round? You know, all these kind of things. And and to me it's a no brainer. We stay with the word of God and when you stay with the word of God that's the authority. Jesus is the head of his church and you're to do things decent in order. Now when correction comes that's where we get to see if you're teachable or not. If you put your neck up and you get all angry and everything then there's an indicator that you got some growing to do. Now you don't have to serve at Calvary Bremerton either. You can be my friend. You can be just my friend And we'll laugh and we'll joke and all that. But if you step forward and you wanna serve and or attend church at Calvary Bremerton, there's gonna be certain things that we do. So let's say somebody stands up and blurts out something during the service. I'm I'm gonna I'm gonna ask them to leave in the future. And that's not unloving. That's leadership. If if somebody after we're we're doing the announcements and I say, hey, come on. Let's let's come on. It's time to start. And everybody's quiet, but there's one or two people still talking. What am I supposed to do? What am I supposed to do? I'm trying to I'm trying to get the service started and so and if if Mike's there, he'll go he'll whistle real loud for me. But, you know, don't get your feelings hurt if if somebody whistles real loud and says, hey. You know? If it's time to take all the stuff out to the thing out there and it's raining, you're afraid of getting your hair wet or whatever, you know, and I say, hey, man up. Don't don't get your feelings hurt and leave the church over that. I mean, you can if you want, but but I'm I'm going to be more as a coach, as a leader that that provides instructions, and those instructions might not be, oh, sweetie, would you please consider? You know? That that's not how not how I operate. Okay? So don't get your don't get your feelings hurt. And there was a time where, can I use you and Vicky as an example, Rob? Absolutely. Okay. So there's a time where we're having the bible study here. This is Rob and Vicky's house. Right? And it's their bible study. If it's in our bulletin and I'm the pastor of it, I'm in charge. If Rob doesn't want you to wear shoes in here, he's in charge about his house, all that kind of stuff. Alright? But this bible study, I'm in charge. I'm not co laboring with Rob and Vicky. Do you understand? So if Rob or Vicky arbitrarily say, we're canceling Monday night? No. No. No. You don't do that without talking to me. I'll find another house. You see what I mean? I'll rent the school across the way. I'm not co leading when it comes to the bible study. Everything's done decent in order. So one time they did that and I had to take them aside and correct them. They're teachable. We're still here. They didn't they didn't get offended to the point of he can't do that. You know how much money we've spent for this bible study? We put a road in. We put a deck out back. We we do you know what we do? You know who we are? I'll dare him talk to us like that. They didn't do that. But that's what people do. That's what they always do. So it's very rare to find somebody that's teachable and it has to be everything done decently in an order and and so there has to be leadership. And what I'm saying is, as time rolls on, it's gonna get more and more rebellious. We're gonna have more and more rebels come into the into the church. I mean, we've had we've had women in here during COVID that Vicky had to get rid of. You know? We've had people just out of control with with no sense of whatever. You know? And we've had people when when I said Moses, you know, murdered. I mean, they they go crazy. You know? And that's rebellion. It's heresy. And She said she met Moses. You know? So we we try to be so soft and and and, you know, gentle at first. And then after a while, we we realized they're not getting it. They're not getting it. So they're not teachable. So to protect the whole, we're gonna have to apply some discipline. And in that discipline or correction or instruction in righteousness, the ball is in their court. If they're teachable, they'll get it. They'll come along. But if they get their feelings hurt and and they leave the church, well, I hope they find a place where somebody accommodates them and makes them so they can learn again and get on track once again. So so okay. So I think sometimes people think that that it's just so loosey goosey and such a clown show that we have no organization. And ultimately, here's the thing, ministry is more caught than it's taught. Do you know what that means? For many of you, I don't need to give you any instructions. You're listening to the Holy Spirit. You get it already. That's catching it. You're in tune with the Holy Spirit. Jesus is the head of his church. Don't need to tell you nothing. You're just in tune. Other people are not as in tune as they think they are and there might be three right ways to do things but my way is the right way. Okay? And you you you got some real good ideas. Right? You got some real good ideas and you might have a better way that you think of doing things. I've done this for thirty years and I'm a little bolder now than I used to be because I get everybody and their brother give me their ideas and their armchair quarterbacks. And all I need to do to demonstrate the spiritual authority that God's blessed me with or privileged me with is say why don't you teach it? And then you're gonna find out, uh-oh, I'm not called to do this. Well then sit down and shut up and let me do what I'm supposed to do. You're challenging me about whether it's the millennium, there is no millennium, or talking by my back, you know, about whatever. There's no rapture that's not even in the Bible, you know. The earth is flat, you know. I mean, it's ridiculous to have to deal with that stuff. It's it's like absolutely ridiculous. And and I try to make sure it doesn't even come into the equation, but when it's forced on you then you gotta deal with it. And and unfortunately, people can be so rebellious and prideful at this point in time in the in the church. That's the apostasy. It's a departure from the truth. It's a rebellion against God. And so you're gonna hold me accountable to the word of God and I'm gonna hold you accountable to the word of God. Jesus is the head of his church. So there you go. And and so even in the millennium Yeah. There has to be order. I mean, come on. And so and and we're not we're not the letter of the law kills. So remember when COVID happened and people were getting uptight because we didn't start right at 10:00 and and we were we were wanting people to talk and visit and everything. New people that were coming like, wait a minute. You gotta start right at ten. Right at ten. Well, now I'm trying to start right at ten because at the end of the service, I got the other church coming back. At the time of COVID, they weren't there. So we had all the time we wanted to fellowship. So I wanted to take advantage of that. It was nice to get people, all new people, get them to know each other so that you don't have to, you know, major on the minors, so to speak, and and go to the letter of the law that you start at ten. Well, if you've got room on the back end, why not let people talk and get to know each other for ten minutes, you know, fifteen minutes. So now I'm trying to start at ten because I don't have that liberty on the back end, and I feel the pressure of getting my hour and a half sermon in in in time. Alright. So Betty's laughing. Alright. So here's the deal. In Matthew seven, if you're building your house on sand, Steve, what's that mean? It means you're in deep doo doo. Deep doo doo. So the sermon goes out. The word of God goes out. Again, there's people that are teachable. There's people that have a voracious appetite for the word of God, and there's people that don't care. If we were to describe Calvary Bremerton, we have a little niche within the community and our little niche might be like pastor Kevin Lee. We're we're similar in that we teach prophecy. We teach the whole bible. We teach it at a level, maybe a college level. It's not nursery school. It's not kindergarten. It's not a clown show. And we also have milk and and stuff for new babes. We try to mix it, you know, mix it, the full council of God. And so that's our little niche in the community. To build your house on the sand means in a time of prosperity, you get away with not being a doer of the word. You get away with it. Mhmm. You go to church and it's on your terms. Then a storm comes. The economy crashes. Doge happens. You lose your job. Somebody gets sick. And now we find out if your house is built on the sand or built on the rock. The person that built their house on the rock, meaning on Jesus, they went home from bible study as a doer of the word. The holy spirit spoke to them and the holy spirit said quit smoking the pot and you quit smoking the pot. Right? The person playing games with God acts like a hypocrite and smiles and looks like everything's good from the outside, but it's not till the crisis comes. It's not till the storms come. It's not till Christianity gets more difficult that we find out if you've been a doer of the word. A doer of the word, you're gonna have a greater faith, greater strength, greater dependency upon the Lord and he's gonna get you through those tough times. The person that's only been a hearer of the word not a doer, they they fall apart and they look for psychological counselors and people to put them back together. They look for short cuts. They don't wanna die to self. They're used to having it their own way. And now now it's time to come back to the basics. There's no shortcuts. It's always by way of the cross. It's always by way of death to self. And you gotta start fresh by being a doer of the word. And that's the way you get through it. The way that Kathy and I get through every single day is number one, humbling ourselves. Life is not fair. Grossly injustice. But we're not sovereign. We're not in control. So we have a choice each day. Are you gonna humble yourself? Are you gonna love me? Are you gonna and then the next thing is you gotta walk by faith. You're not gonna have the answers to all the questions you have in your Christianity. So the emphasis here is upon being obedience, the ordinances, being a doer of the word, not a hearer only. And I can't emphasize that enough that that's the place we're coming to and and that walking by faith is day by day. Give us this daily bread. Seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness. All these other things be added unto us. In a time of prosperity, you don't need to exercise those disciplines. You can just say, you know what? I don't I don't like that pastor. I'm gonna go another one. I'm I'm gonna go somewhere they tell me what I wanna hear. Well, that's a time of that's a time of prosperity. You get away with that. But in a time of economic reversal or health issues, now nobody can help you except God. And when it comes down to that, to the nitty gritty, he's gonna say, you need to obey me in the little things. You need to obey me. And so we think the word grace means what? I can do whatever I want. I pull out the grace card. No. Grace means, man, he saved me and man, Lord, I I wanna respond to your love with a life of worship. I wanna worship you by walking in obedience unto you. Jesus said, if you love me, keep my commandments. Right? Yeah. And and he said John said, if you say you know God and keep not his commandments you're a liar and the truth isn't in you. Right? Okay. So there you go. The obedience. If he wants you to obedient in the millennium, oh my lord. You know? So this is the law of the house upon the top of the mountain. So Mount Zion and this is this is the millennial rule and reign of Jesus upon Mount Zion who limit round about all the most holy. Behold this is the law of the house. So you wouldn't think of law during the millennium would you? It's not the Mosaic Law, it's kingdom law. And then he says, and there are measures of the altar. Now the altar, we've seen this before. This is the dimensions. I'm just gonna read over these. And and these are the measures of the altar of the the after the cubits. So you got an altar in the millennium but it's impossible that the blood of bulls and the bullocks could take away sin. So the old testament system pointed to Christ Jesus took away. So it's not so theological. It's not salvation issue here. We're saved. All these people are saved except the the Gentiles that are reproducing. They've got till they're like 60 Isaiah chapter 66 they got till they're a 100 years old to receive Christ or not. We see some at the end of the millennium that obviously aren't saved because they rebel with the devil. But but the main issue here is as a memorial, typically, the offerings and as consecration. You can consecrate yourself to the lord with the burnt offerings. And these are the measures of the altar after the cubits. The cubit is a cubit and a hand breath. So a cubit is 18 and the hand breath on top of that, so like around 21 inches they say. And even the bottom shall be a cubit and the breadth a cubit and the border of it by its edge roundabout shall be a span span of a hand and this shall be higher placed the altar and from the bottom upon so they're saying as I looked at this, a 191 and a quarter feet tall, but part of it's down in a beneath the the floor level. Some of it's down like a basement down below. And from the bottom upon the ground even to the lower edge shall be two cubits, so below the ground level so to speak, and the breadth one cubit and from the smaller ledge even to the greater ledge shall be four cubits and the breadth of it a cubit. So the altar shall be four cubits and from the altar and upward shall be shall there be four horns. So the horns of the altar verse 20 talks about blood gonna be sprinkled on those four horns just like Exodus 29 verse 12. And the altar shall be 12 cubits long, 12 broad square in the four squares of it. And the edge shall be 14 cubits long and 14 broad in its four squares and the border about it shall be a half cubit and the bottom of it shall be a cubit about and its stairs shall look toward the east. And so 21 foot square and he said unto me son of man thus saith the Lord God these are the ordinance of the altar in the day when they shall make it to offer burnt offerings on it and to the sprinkle of the blood thereon. And so Exodus forty ten twenty nine, the sprinkling of the blood upon the altar. Hebrews seven chapter seven unto ten one through four, possible that the blood of bulls of bulls could take away sin. So again this is for a memorial. They'd also have a place the altars being a place of refuge where a person like ad Adonijah ran in first Corinthians or first Kings one verse 50 and refuge Kings two twenty eight. He knew he was gonna be executed. Psalm was after him and he ran to hold on to the horns of the altar pleading for mercy, but it didn't work. So it could be a place of refuge and refuge from judgment if you got there and all. And so the offerings, offerings during the millennium, and thou shalt give to the priests and the Levites who are of the house of Zadok. So second Samuel eight seventeen, first Kings one eight and thirty nine. We see in Ezekiel 40 verse 46, Ezekiel forty four fifteen, Ezekiel 48 verse 11 that the priestly line are the sons of Zadok who were faithful unto David in a time of Absalom's rebellion. And the lord says I'm gonna have the sons of Zadok minister unto me. First Kings one twenty six and twenty seven are the seed of Zadok who approach unto me to minister. Your ministry is unto Jesus. Everything you do, whatsoever you do, do it heartily as unto the Lord not unto men. Sean wanted so bad to get his family there on time to set up the church before we got there that he was driving 95 miles an hour. Gave it his whole heart and the police officer didn't seem to care. Gave him a ticket. But the Lord really appreciated that that he gave it his whole heart. That's what he wants. Not half hearted service and That's it. You put your whole heart, your whole pedal, your whole pedal to the metal. Who approach unto me to minister unto me saith the Lord God, a young bullock for a sin offering. And so seven days these priests are gonna get themselves ready. They're gonna get the the temple area, the precinct area ready. They've got to consecrate, they got to purify everything, they got to sprinkle with blood and get the sacrifices ready. Then the eighth day they can move forward. So thou shalt take its blood and put it upon the four horns of the four corners of the ledge and upon the border roundabout thus shalt thou cleanse and purge the temple precinct area. Thou shall take the bullock also of the sin offering and shall burn it in the appointed place of the house outside of the sanctuary. And on the second day thou shall offer a kid of the goats without blemish for a sin offering. Right now they're looking for the ashes of the red heifer, aren't they? When we say they, the temple precinct, the the temple society has everything they need and they're trying to get some ashes of the red heifer without any blonde little because it takes three or four years to to observe and watch these these heifers to see if they're gonna remain red or not. And and then you need the ashes of the red heifer to cleanse the temple area like we're reading here as a means of cleansing to inaugurate and set forth the whole sacrificial system. Kid goats without blemish for a sin offering and they shall cleanse the altar and Jesus says a lamb without blemish without spot as they did cleanse it with the bullock. When thou has finished cleansing it thou shall offer a young bullock without blemish and a ram out of the flock without blemish and thou shall offer them before the Lord and the priest shall cast salt upon them. Now here's a weird thought. When I'm in the Garden Of Eden and there's these animals there, do you think they can talk to me before the curse? Friendly. Lions, tigers, and bears. Oh my. We're all friendly. Right? No curse. They don't have any carnivore teeth yet. Maybe. Right? Maybe. Maybe not. Maybe they're eating strong grass like like, you know, like the cows do now, and then later that's carnivorous, which I'm a carnivore. I got teeth right there. And so in the millennium, if the curse is reversed I mean, what's it like to be a sheep and the priest walk up to you and say, hey, we're gonna sacrifice you today, you know. We're gonna offer you as a burnt offering. The bashful. The bashful. Yeah. I don't know. Maybe maybe I'm thinking too far. Maybe they there's a maybe you can't talk to the animals. I would love for the children to be able to, you know, bunnies to talk and all that. I mean, is that not I mean, do you think they talked in the Garden of Eden? Vicky says no. There's a separation. There's a separation. The serpent talked. Yeah. Balaam's donkey talked. Okay. Alright. Alright. Well, respect Vicky's Vicky's opinion. I don't know. Rebels are everywhere. Here we go. Here we go. It's plausible. It's plausible. Okay. But anyway, you still have these animals that are a tear down, you know, we're we're above the animals, a little bit lower than the angels. We've got our new glorified bodies. We've been exalted in the position of kings and priests. And in the sacrificial system you've got animals that are being raised without spot or blemish, without any problems for the purpose of sacrifice, to sacrifice them. So the for the service of man. And that might mean that we get to have steaks and all that other sorts of stuff and and so seven days shall thou prepare every day a goat for a sin offering and they shall also prepare a young bullock and a ram out of the flock with without blemish. So seven days shall they purge the altar and purify it and they shall consecrate themselves. So the priests are getting themselves ready. They're getting the precinct, the whole temple, everything ready for the sacrificial system. And when these days are fulfilled, it shall be that upon this eighth day and so onward the priest shall make your burnt offerings upon the altar and your peace offerings and I will accept you, saith the Lord God. So you and I according to Ephesians one verse six were accepted in the beloved and you and I are told that we're to offer ourselves as living sacrifices holy and acceptable unto God which is our reasonable response of worship in light of the salvation, that he's given us according to Romans 12 verse one. And be not conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is a good and acceptable and perfect will of God. We wanna live according to the will of God. Right? Every single day we wanna be in God's will. I I don't wanna serve the Lord half heartedly. And when I was in school, Kathy and I both will tell you that we didn't apply ourselves to high school. We did not try to be the valedictorian and get all a's. Our objective in high school is to just get through it. Right? Right. And social reasons. When I got saved now if I played sports though, I put my whole heart in it. Something that I enjoyed, something that I liked, put my every everything every ounce of my energy in it. When I became a Christian, it was different. I went to church. I had a a notepad and I had a pen. And man, I was serious. Really serious. And and I wanted to learn. And I was there as much as I could get there. And I I I really wanted to learn and it it took effort. It took getting in the car and getting there and getting my family there and the whole thing. I wasn't gonna approach it half heartedly my walk in relationship with the Lord. I didn't make Jesus just a hobby and put him on the back burner and and approach him when I had time. It's a love relationship and it's a craving. It's a craving, a desire, an appetite to be in the things of the Lord. Then when I went to school of ministry, I was out of touch with study skills. So it took me about six months maybe to develop study skills because, man, this was like college courses and it was overwhelming me with with that and my business and family and traveling and all, but I put my whole heart in it, everything we had. And then when we came up to Bremerton here, Kathy and I and my dad and my two daughters, we approached this by faith. We didn't know what we were doing. We just stepped out in faith and we put our whole heart into it. Everything. We were all in. All in. Everything we had, all in. And and I'm still after thirty years, almost thirty years, I still approach my preparation for teaching with my whole heart. I wanna put my whole heart into this. I don't want to, you know, skate or skip. I don't wanna retire. I wanna go for it. Especially since we're so close to the finish line, especially since so many prophecies are being fulfilled. I wanna be like Caleb. I met a guy at the gym and his name's Caleb, and I said, you know, I like that name. And Caleb was 80 five years old or six years old, and he was strong at 85 as he was when he was 40, and he wanted the area of Hebron, and he told Joshua, you know, Moses promised it to me, and I had to circle around for forty years with all these unbelievers, you know. Joshua and Caleb remember because the unbeliever report of the of his contemporaries. So all those 20 years and and older would die. Those 20 years and younger, those kids, the adults were worried about, would enter in with Caleb and Joshua, and he was a giant killer. He attacked giants at 80 and five years old. Now this day, I'm 80 and five years old. I'm as strong today as I was when I was 40. That I like that attitude. Yes. I like to push myself, especially in the things of the Lord. We stepped out in faith and I loved stepping out in faith and taking risks and and going for it, you know, when we were planting the church and and outreaches and buildings and all the different stuff that we got to experience. I don't regret it at all. I got to experience tons of things. So I look back on it when I'm visiting my dad, and I said, dad, thank you for helping me plant that church in Bremerton. One of the most significant things in my lifetime has been to come to Bremerton with Kathy and my dad and my two daughters and myself and many of you co laboring with us now and Brian from the very beginning and trying to do something that's just crazy. It's just very few people have tried something like this, you know, and we don't have a big safety net. Every week, every day, we're walking by faith. And and to me, it's a very exciting way to go to serve the Lord, to follow the Lord, and keep giving it your all. Press toward the mark of the high calling of God. Pressing toward the mark means you're not coasting. You're pressing toward the finish line. You know? You're not the shadow box. Hit what you're aiming at, you know, Paul's saying. And he said, finished my course. You know? I finished the race, and I fought a good fight. That's the way you wanna go out. So that's the way I was exhorting my dad. He said, dad, you know what? You gave it your all for Jesus. He never never coasted. He studied four hours a day. He's in love with the Lord, studying his word, learning more and more and more and aware of the times he's living in, the sons of what do they call them? Watchmen? No. Not the Bereans, but the the watchmen. Mark Dinsmore's probably listening. He'll he'll be reminded. But there were there were some that were aware of the times they were living in, the watchmen, and it'll come to me. And that's and then that's who we wanna be. We wanna be those who are aware of the season and the times they're living in, that we're living in, understanding the times, a great understanding. I'm gonna pass out more of the prophecy books. Kathy's gonna order some more. Gonna keep doing that and keep trying to stoke the flames, stoke the fires of of of the times we're living in, being students of prophecy. Rob's been devouring the book already. Vicky devours it. And people are approaching me as they're leaving church wanting some of those 101 bible prophecies that are being fulfilled. It's a great great way to evangelize and to try and reach people that are Christians but just aren't never been interested in bible prophecy. And now you're gonna be able to hand them this and say, hey, prophecies are being fulfilled right now. So as the world the hope that people have in the world wanes as they realize they've been tricked, then you can get their eyes on Jesus and get them looking up. And again, the other thing my dad kept saying when we were visiting with him and he says often is, keep looking up. Keep looking up. And so don't be looking at these politicians to solve everything. That's the beast system. That's the trick. Keep looking up. Jesus is the author and the finisher of our faith. And we we look in future, we're gonna wind up here. We know where we're going. Right? We know we're gonna be a part of this for a thousand years with Jesus rule and reign. And then after this, where do we go, Vicky? Eternal state. Twenty one and twenty two of the book of Revelation. Right? The ages to come. Alright. Let's pray. Father, we come before you and we thank you for the hope that is ours, that blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and savior Jesus coming again. And he's gonna come in to Jerusalem and he's gonna bring that Shekinah glory through that East Gate. And and he's never gonna leave. It's gonna be shut up there and never ever gonna be Ichabod, the glory of the Lord departing again as you're gonna rule and reign for a thousand years. You're gonna tabernacle among us, Lord Emmanuel, God with us. And the Lord, we thank you for the hope that is ours. We're so excited. And Lord, we're reminded in John chapter five that in your first coming that you came under your own and your own received you not. And you came in your father's name and the world received you not. The Jews received you not but another shall come in his own name and him they will receive But in first John one, Lord, you said as many as received you to them gave you the power to become the sons of God even to them that believe on your name, Lord. So Lord God, we're thankful for the gift of salvation, the wonderful blessing of knowing you And, we pray that our family members, friends, others, Lord, would come to know you, recommit their lives, rededicate their lives unto you, Lord. We lift them up to you, we pray for divine appointments. We pray you anoint and use us, Lord, as we share the good news prophetically of your coming kingdom. In Jesus' name, pray. Amen.
