Father, come before you. And Lord, we just commit this night in your hands. We thank you that we can study the the holy word of God. And we pray that you'd be our teacher tonight, that you'd open the scriptures to our understanding, and that we would have hearts and minds and a willingness that we surrender to your will for our lives, Lord. Make us doers everywhere, not hearers only. Bless the worship time. Anoint and bless Rob as he leads us as we worship you. Thank you for the meal. Thank you for the cookies and the biscuits and the dessert and the salads and all the food that we got to have. And, we just commit this night unto you, Lord, in Jesus' name. We also pray for, Karen Menard, Lord, Raleigh going home to be with you. And, we pray you comfort her undergird, strengthen her. And we thank you that she has family and friends around her. And thank you that Sally, no more cancer. And we pray that you continue to heal Alan and Cora and help James with his hips and everything and help Christie and just continue to bring your healing touch upon this body of believers, Lord. Father, we come before you and we just thank you so much once again that we can gather in your name. And that we pray, Lord, that you would bless this time of fellowship, the time as we're in your word, the time as we're praying and interceding on behalf of of each other. And we just pray for those listening and watching on Facebook that you bless them too. Alan Cora who might be sick and and anybody else out there. We lift up Carl who's in Lord in South Korea visiting his grandkids and his daughter and everybody. We pray that you bless him mightily and bring him back safe. And just pour out your spirit tonight, Lord, in Jesus' name. Amen. Alright. Before we jump into the text here, this is the room. This is the room that we do the podcast in. And Rob and Vicky have put this together, and we have several podcasts that we've completed. And they are on YouTube for anybody that wants to go there. And and we recently did one on prophecy on the January 1, and a lot of it is still pertinent, but some of it we got we got so many prophecy things happening so quick that we're trying to keep up. So what ideas do you have for upcoming podcasts that you would like to have Rob and Vicky and and and us delve into? What are some ideas? And those of you on Facebook, you can in the comment section, you can bring up some ideas. But what are some things you think would help people in the area of a podcast? Anybody? Jim? Prayer and fasting? Prayer and fasting? Okay. So Jim thinks we should talk about what it means to pray and to fast and how that impacts a Christian's life. Jesus said when you fast and so not if, but when. So how many of us fast? No. You don't need to put your hands up. I'd have to bring in the sin sniffing dog because we'd all be lying. So but The rapture is trending right now. The rapture is trending. Rob says trending on what, Rob? X? Well, on Facebook and YouTube. Okay. So Facebook and YouTube. People who are trying to balance between the day of the lord and he shall come quickly and as a thief in the night and they're kind of people are kind of mixing the difference between the rapture and Christ's second coming and the battle of Armageddon and the latter days. So it's and it's really trending pretty big. There's some big numbers out there. Okay. Now, well, that's good. Thank you. I didn't know that because, you know, I'm not on Facebook or social media anymore. So enjoy it. I got another one. The big thing that's going on with everybody all on the Trump train right now, AI, mRNA shot, Stargate, all the tech people that are pushing all this stuff. And it's another problem, you know. I mean, he's doing a lot of good stuff, but there's also, there's something with that, too, that maybe somebody could talk about that. I don't know who would So AI, artificial intelligence, basically the B system. The B system. That's So we could talk about the B system that's coming together. And I understand that China is There was a 500,000,000,000 or a trillion dollar decline in the stock market due to the Chinese coming out with a algorithm and AI, an ability to be faster than chat GPT. So investors are like, uh-oh, China's gonna win. So there was a quote from Putin. Whoever reaches the point of singularity with the fastest, you know, AI will be the one that can control the world. So there's a battle. There's a there's a race to get to the point with whatever technology you have to reach that point. So as I heard that and remember Putin saying that, thought, well, wait a minute. So you mean you're not gonna have AI in China and then AI in America and AI in Europe? They're not gonna all fight against each other. There's gonna be one AI, you know, the image of the beast, and that's gonna be the dominant one over all the rest of them. You know? Otherwise, what would happen? They'd be fighting all day with each other? Is that right? So the bankers choose one that's gonna be it. You know? So anyway, that's that was my thought. But but, yeah, name the guys that Trump has around him that are globalist, like Oracle, Larry Ellison. Right? And the other guy, the Fink. Fink. There's two. So what are their expertise? Tech. Tech y guys? Tech y. And then who else? Elon Musk. Elon Musk. Oh, yeah. And Elon Musk spent $250,000,000 on Trump's reelection. Did you know that? And then who else? Who's another globalist? Peter Thiel. Peter Thiel? PayPal? Mhmm. Who else? I heard at first, I don't know if he's still around, but Jeff Bezos met with Trump at some point. Right? Yeah. Now Jeff Bezos with the Sky the Sky what's it called? Skynet? Sky what? Skylink. Skylink. Okay. With Skylane, one of the things they're proposing is data centers. So with Amazon and Jeff Bezos, they'll have regional data centers and $500,000,000,000 to do this slated. And what it'll do is they'll they'll need their own source of electricity. So they're talking about nuclear like you guys do in the subs and everything Mhmm. Because the grid isn't sufficient to provide all electricity. So massive, massive, massive, huge warehouses Mhmm. That'll that'll collect data in that region. And then Amazon can collect data. Everybody can collect data. Mhmm. But they're gonna put these things everywhere for this quote unquote smart cities, fifteen minute cities. And then what did president Trump coin the phrase of? Just so you conservatives old name. Just so all the curse conservatives will buy in. Okay. Let's do it. What do you call them? Cities. Freedom cities. Oh, yeah. Freedom cities. Yeah. Freedom. Doesn't that sound great? Yeah. I'm not afraid now. Freedom cities. Alright. Alright. So there's a term Trumpism. We got all the different sorts of isms, but this Trumpism's real. And I'm very thankful that I'm getting phone calls and people are coming up to me and they're letting me know that they're they're free of they've been saved from this seduction of Trump making America great. And so he ran on a ticket. He ran on a platform of anti woke and anti globalism. So anti globalism means anti beast system. Right? So you're gonna do everything nationally. But what's interesting is he definitely is the salesman. It's out there for the beast system. And he's got all the tech guys and everybody coming around to help him with this. And he's the gift that keeps on giving. I mean, he wasn't even elected. And he's talking about the North American Union already with Greenland and Canada and the Gulf Of America and Panama Canal and no more borders and the whole thing. And I'm just like, wow. I just I stand back and not say anything anymore. This guy's doing it for me. You know? And I reminded some people recently that I said, now why did why did I originally say that I was gonna vote for president Trump? And and I had to remind people. I said because it'll hasten the return of Jesus Christ. What do mean by that? Because Trump will build the beast system. He will speed up the building of the beast system. And if I'm a pre trib rapture guy, he's coming for us before that beast system starts, you know, before it the antichrist signs the peace treaty. But the system has to be in place before the antichrist comes on the scene. And it can be he can be alive right now, but that beast system needs to be going because the period is only seven years. So all this all this technology of surveillance of everybody and a mark on the right hand of the forehead and the the economic system tied in, all of that digital ID has a seven year shelf life. Now it could be ten years, fifteen years leading up to it. You could have fifteen years of the rapture could happen now and fifteen years from now could be the sign of the peace treaty. You understand that? The the tribulation doesn't start the pre trib rapture. Nobody knows the pre trib rapture. It's could happen at any moment. But most feel that it will be pretty close to the time of the beginning of the tribulation period. So a peace treaty with Israel, according to Daniel 09/25 through '27, will start the seven year tribulation period, the seventy seven of Daniel. But what we're looking at is when these things begin to come to pass, what are some of these things? So one world economic system, digital, nobody can buy or sell without a market right hand in their forehead. We're watching that. Rob's saying people are asking about the rapture. One thing I noticed about the rapture is people are in huge disagreement about the timing of the rapture. Mhmm. Some pre some pre wrath in Revelation six, and some mid, and some post. And so that's everybody's, you know, got a idea in that regard. But I think people is what Rob's alluding to, people are recognizing with president Trump there, and they're recognizing the technology, and they're like, this is the tribulation period. We don't need to argue about that. This is the technology the antichrist is gonna use. So then the topic of the rapture comes up because we don't wanna be in that tribulation period. Right? So I wanna be a student of the rapture, you know, now. And so, pastor, when do you think it's gonna happen? Well, I don't know, but I'm writing a book on it. I'll let you know later. And it'll make me rich, but but we have to be ready every day. So we're living in a very exciting time. I wasn't around when Jesus, you know, his first coming, but we're living in a time at the end of the end of the last days, we believe. Number one, why do we believe that? Because Israel's in the land. So if I believe that I was living in the last days and Israel wasn't in the land yet, gotta still wait for Israel to get into the land because that and and here's what happened. A lot of folks didn't believe that Israel would be in the land because it seemed preposterous. So what they did is they leaned toward a replacement theology at the time that the church has taken the place of Israel. Well, that's not true, but a whole lot of religious systems and denominations still believe that, and particularly the Catholic church. And now another thing is Babylon. People symbolize figuratively saying, you know, America, the stock market, when it crashes, that's Revelation 18 where all the commerce, everybody looks on and it's smoking and all. And so they symbolically place mystery Babylon, the great, as a, you know, New York City. And then they'll cite, well, Babylon's in ruins. There's no way Babylon could be literal Babylon. You know? And but fascinating. We're watching a huge port be developed in Iraq, southern part, and and canal systems and rail systems and road systems and everything for an economic explosion to take place in that region with India and China and all the Turkey and Europe and everybody involved in that general region with the distribution of goods by container ships, rail lines, truck lines, every which way probably drones and all that. So very, very fascinating the time we're living in. So I hear prayer and fasting. I hear the beast system, the rapture. What else? Any other ideas for Vicky to pray about some podcasts? I mean, you were talking about about Trump, you know, making America great again. Well, that that is just rebranding what the antichrist is gonna be doing to the entire world because, like you said, so Trump has to he has to rebrand what needs to take place prior to the antichrist. It's a yeah. Go ahead. I'm sorry. No. So I was just gonna agree that that this a subject matter is in relations to the rapture is that Trump is doing exactly what needs to take place prior to the signing of the peace treaty because all that stuff has to be in place for the antichrist to use it. Yep. And not just for America, but the rest of world. What was going on in in in you just said, in Babylon being rebuilt. Mhmm. Well, that's that's part of the puzzle Yeah. That's gonna happen during the tribulation period. So everybody's got their peace and Trump's got his peace. And the other part is the collapse of things. The German economy, Japan economy, all the different economies getting ready to implode. And then what's gonna replace it? The bankers are ready. Bank of America said they're ready. They're ready to implement this new digital token, you know, economic system that's gonna come in. So you're gonna need an economic or excuse me, a digital ID, a digital wallet, everything going digital. And and even the mRNA vaccine is gonna tie in with this whole digital system. And so what are they gonna do to roll that out, Jim, to get everybody to get the mRNA jab? Another Bird flu. Bird flu, right? Well, more than that. There's other Avian, specifically saying anti, what's that disease back in the eighties? And stuff. Bird flu, monkeypox, all of them, they're All of them. How about the golden age, though, too? He's mentioning the Aquarius. Age. That harkens back to a time of a lot of weird spiritual things going New Age. New Age. New Golden Age. So that would be the Kingdom Now theology or Dominion Theology, the sub mountain mandate. So that brings in a certain segment of the church that believes out of Bethel, California is very strong, the NAR movements, New Apostolic Reformation. Mhmm. And so they're looking at taking over America, taking over the world from a religious moral standpoint and working with government, churches working with government and banks, the three legged stool of Rick Warren, and imposing upon the world, you know, a moralistic standard. And that moralistic standard, the new religious system will be doing good. Doing good is defined as a good social credit score. So doing good would mean you don't eat. If I didn't show you yet, but yesterday, I did something that's gonna be illegal one day. And this this is a 32 ounce Tomahawk rib eye. Now one day they're gonna say that's that's immoral. You need to eat some crickets and some worms and get your protein from another source because that cow that that came from has flatulence and it's ruining, you know, the air. It's it's causing global warming and everything. Those fires in LA, they were caused by this. That's that's how those fires were caused. So you're a you're a you're a mean, bad, nasty person, and we forbid you to eat meat. And by the way, it was 32 ounce, and it had 240 224 grams of protein. That's that's significant. That was That is That was good. And Fatted calf. But anyway, if you if you try to live like that or do that, your your social credit score is gonna drop, and then you're not gonna be able to get loans and go places and travel or any kind of perks or whatever. So that's the b system that's coming. And I'm trying to eat as much as I can before they do it. So it's it's it's a it's a mad dash. But what else? You got the pandemic. They wanna re re get it going again. Bill Gates met with president Trump at Mar A Lago for three hours. When the World Health Organization is the ballister, so to speak, where he's gonna defund it, last time Leo Holman pointed out that last time they did this, there's a trickery where Trump allocated the money that would have gone to the WHO to the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. So that money, you gotta watch if that money is gonna go that direction. And then you got HHS, Health and Human Services, $500,000,000 slated for this next pandemic that's coming. And money's allocated for help in churches and masking and testing and all the COVID stuff coming again and the lockdowns and all that. So then you got war. You got Putin and Ukraine and president Trump and people jock in. They said that NATO is already sending troops over to to Ukraine. Mhmm. And with that, you're gonna escalate a war. And then the idea is why well, the reason why is because soon as Trump was elected, Germany's government was falling apart. So why are they falling apart? Because of the debt load. The debt load on these countries is huge. So the people are gonna blame the politicians for the implosion of the economy as they lose everything. And instead of that, the politicians wanna push war so that they can cover all of the responsibility for them imploding. You know? So crisis reaction solution, the solution will be one world government and a one world economic system and a one world religious system. So Jesus said there'd be wars and rumors of wars. And so it's happening so incredibly fast. So now we'll get into our study. And our study is gonna pertain the first five verses are gonna pertain to what we just talked about. It's telescoping to the tribulation period. And could somebody tell me what the tribulation period is? Jacob's wrath. Time of Jacob's wrath, which means who's Jacob? Israel. So it's a time where God's going to pour out his wrath upon who? The Everybody. Yeah. Everybody. But particularly the nation of Israel to for what purpose? Their disobedience, their rejection. Their unbelief, and it's it's a picture as as going through a fire. Right? And what happens when you go through the fire? Purification. Either burned up or purified. Right? And if you if you receive it properly, it humbles you, compels you to confess your sin, to cry out blessed he comes in the name of the Lord, and you're converted. You experience conversion. Jeremiah 31, God's words can be written in your heart, and that's God's work of Zechariah thirteen eight nine, where two thirds of the Jews are going to perish, but a one third remnant is gonna come through that tribulation period and be saved. And they're gonna enter into the millennium. Jesus is gonna rule and reign for a thousand years during that time. So that's the time of Jacob's trouble. It's the seventieth seven of Daniel. 69 of those seven year periods of time have already been accomplished. There's one seven year period remaining. So if we're a premillennial dispensationalist in our type of theology, we believe that God deals with us according to epochs of time or administrations or periods of time. So if we look at the Old Testament, that's a period of time where God, you know, dealt with the nation of Israel and and and the world as a whole. It wasn't the church period. So the church period was a mystery once hid now revealed, and the church began many holes at at Pentecost. And so Jesus said he'd send the comforter before the holy spirit would be upon people like Samson and stuff for for service, but we needed to wait for the cross. We needed to wait for the lord to be crucified, buried, raised from the dead, and then we could have the indwelling of the holy spirit, which is god doing the work from within us rather than the external application of the law that pointed us to the corner, pointed us to a place of no way out and cry out to Christ. And so after the church age, according to Romans eleven twenty five, blindness in part has happened unto Israel, in part happened unto Israel in that there are Jews that are saved that are part of the church. We see that in Acts. But then there's also Jews, Israelis. Now they like to call themselves messianic Jews, but in actuality what they are is Christians. They're they're there is no distinction for a messianic Jew. Culturally, they may wanna hold on to their messianic culture, but Judaism is is over with. It's done. And so but there's a point in time where the Lord deals nationally with the nation of Israel at the end of the church age. And so blindness in part is happening in Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles become in. And once that happens, that person, that's that's the rapture. And then the starting of the 77 of Daniel takes place with the signing of the peace treaty that the Antichrist who's somewhere out there who he is going to sign with the nation of Israel. So what precipitates that signing of the peace treaty is what? War. War. Oh, yeah. Are gonna happen. And people are gonna try and destroy Israel. And it might be Ezekiel thirty eight and thirty nine, which we're gonna be getting to. But Israel's gonna win, and then the antichrist and the governments of the world are gonna say, you know, what are we gonna do with them? We cleaned out Gaza. We got beachfront property there now. Jared Kushner just built a mansion there, right there on the waterfront. You know, we got rid of all the people that were there. We burned out LA. We burned out Lahaina. We burned out all over the world where we want these smart cities and such, but Israel's Israel's in the way. They're in the way, you know. And people just hate them from a demonic standpoint. There's no real rationale for it. What are we gonna do with them? Well, we're gonna have to sign a peace treaty with them, help them rebuild their temple, and and try to peacefully coexist with them for a time. Twelve hundred and sixty days after that signing that peace treaty, the antichrist goes into that temple, declares himself to be god, demands to be worshiped as god, and the nation of Israel, their eyes are open that this guy is an impostor. And now they're on his hit list because the devil thinks in this insanity that he can keep Jesus from returning if there's no Jews left. They're all gone. So that's Revelation 12. The devil goes after the woman and tries to destroy the nation of Israel. And Jesus said in Matthew 24, except those days be shortened, those days of the tribulation period when when the planet is being hit with seals and trumpet and bowl judgments and the the population of the planet's being reduced to over over 50% are gone in a very short period of time and more and more are dying, there's a point where if the lord doesn't intervene, then there'd be no flesh saved. Nobody'd be left. But for Israel's sake, for the elect's sake, the Lord Jesus intervenes, and that's in his return. And he stops the devil from his insanity of destroying every every person on the planet and wanted to take him to hell and all. So chapter 30 verse one. The word of the lord came again unto me saying, son of man, prophecy and say, thus saith the lord god. He says, wail ye alas for the day. And so he's saying, this day is gonna be a brutal day. Time's up with this day. It's a it's a time of great pain. So verse three is gonna speak of the tribulation period. For the day is near, even the day of the Lord is near, a cloudy day. It shall be the time of the nations. And so the day of Lord when you see that phrase, that's the tribulation period and it's the time of God's judgment of his wrath being poured out. Now notice as Rob mentioned earlier, people are saying he comes quickly. Well, that word near there in the Hebrew basically says, time's up, no more delay. And so when we hear Jesus say in Revelation three one, behold, I come quickly. When he says in Revelation 22 verse seven, behold, I come quickly. Revelation twenty two twelve, I'm coming quickly. In Revelation twenty two ten, I'm coming quickly. It's been two thousand years. What's he mean? What do you mean you come quickly? It's been two thousand years. When the things start happening. That's it. Right there. The pregnant woman is in labor. Right. So what that means is a domino effect. It's a domino effect. As soon as one of those dominoes falls, all the rest fall in rapid succession. So once this tribulation period starts, that sign of the peace treaty, events of the tribulation period, this pregnant whole group, this whole bulk of prophecies are gonna start to fall. So we're watching ahead of time in according to first Thessalonians five verse two, the day of the lord so cometh as a thief in the night. For when they shall say peace and safety. So they're looking at the Trumpism, they're looking at the globalist, they're looking at their ability to reduce war. We're never gonna have a war again because we don't have any more borders. With no borders, there's no sovereign nationalism of people fighting against each other. And we've got a governing board that determines, you know, what's best for each region, you know. Only problem with that is Revelation chapter seven says that three of those kings fight with the antichrist because there's ten ten kings. Three of them fight with the antichrist and they lose and then the other seven give over their sovereignty to the antichrist and he becomes the eighth. So even even in their utopia, age of Aquarius, wonderful year like Jim alluded to, there's still human nature and there's still a whole lot of fighting and wars and and stuff going on. So behold I come quickly. So when he says it's near, I'm looking at that and I'm saying, how near? How close is it? When you know, how close are we to the rapture? How close are we, you know, to the tribulation period? So what are some signs Cause Jesus said there'd be signs. Right? What are some signs that you see of his second coming? Which means he's coming at the end of that seven year tribulation periods. We talked about what starts it, which is the signing of the peace treaty. But in Luke chapter 21, you could turn there. Luke 21. Cloudy day, it shall be a time of the nations. Now that's an important thing. We're gonna start in verse of Luke 21 and we're gonna start in verse 24. Jerusalem, the destruction was foretold, and that's in seventy AD. But they shall fall by the edge of the sword and shall be led away captive into all nations, the Jews will be. And Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles. So we saw after seventy AD, Jerusalem was trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled. So it's been over two thousand years. Right? It's it's right. Well, a little less than two thousand years. The Gentiles are still in power. There's still a global power. The global the dominant nations, the dominant power upon the planet is led by Gentiles, not the nation of Israel. So in the millennium, the dominant power is gonna be Israel. And Jesus is king of kings and lord of lords and he's gonna rule and reign over the all the Gentile nations. And David as a prince and Jesus as king and then you and I are kings and priests in our new glorified bodies as part of the Lord Jesus, a part of his government as the Gentile nations begin to repopulate. So until the times of the Gentiles. So the times of the Gentiles is going to end at the return of Christ. When Jesus returns, it's the end of the times of the Gentiles. He's going to establish his kingdom. Now some would say that because Israel has sovereignty over the city of Jerusalem that the times of the Gentiles has already ended. Not true. Because they're gonna lose sovereignty. They're gonna lose possession of the nation or excuse me, of Jerusalem when the antichrist comes in and and it's gonna be a cup of trembling, they're gonna expel them, you know, from Jerusalem. They're gonna flee to Basra. So and there shall be signs in the sun and in the moon and in the stars and on the earth distress of nations with perplexity. That word perplexity means no way out. So during the tribulation period, there's going to be cataclysmic events in nature that are going to get people's attention. And then all the systems, they're gonna be a system breakdown. There you notice there was no water in the fire hydrants for the fires in LA. That's a system breakdown. Food scarcity, a system breakdown. Energy breakdown. The storms that are coming, inability to rebuild after the storm, so many of them coming, asteroids hitting the earth, so many things in the heavens happening. So and distress of nations with perplexity. Perplexity means no way out. Men's hearts failing them for fear. So people so afraid of what they're enduring that they're having panic attacks, heart attacks, anxiety. There just aren't enough gummies to calm them down. And for looking after those things which are coming. So they're seeing what's happening and they're anticipating even more that's gonna come. And that's that's the part where you and I, we don't do that. Why don't we do that? Why don't we worry about what's coming? We're not gonna be here, Debbie says. What else? In your daily life, why don't we worry about the future? Can you add 18 inches to your stature? Nope. If you can't add 18 inches to your stature, what are you worried about? Right? Yeah. And can you make one hair white or black? Yeah. No. No. No. Right? Kinda. We walk by faith day by day, trusting in the Lord. He's sovereign. He's in control. And and we know looking ahead, as Debbie says, we're not gonna be here, that we're not subject on to God's wrath. And so we're saved from his wrath because Jesus already went to the Cross Of Calvary and experienced the wrath of God being poured out upon us as sinners. So the eschatological wrath, which is the wrath God pours out in the tribulation period in the last days, is not something we're subject unto because we're not appointed under wrath as the church. And we're saved from that that wrath to come. We've already been saved. So but the world is gonna experience that wrath and it's gonna be Jesus said it's gonna be a time that the world's never seen before nor will ever see again. And so so looking after those things which are coming on the earth for the powers of heaven shall be shaken and then shall they see the son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. And so this is the second coming. It's not the rapture. The world leans people upon the planet are gonna see the the coming of Christ. And and he's coming according to second Thessalonians chapter two, he's gonna destroy the antichrist and the false prophet with the sword of his mouth and the brightness of his coming. And then shall they see the son of man coming in a cloud with power and with great glory. And when they see these things begin to come to pass so you're you're looking at the tribulation period and you're you're seeing the beast system developing. When you see these things begin to come to pass, then look up, lift up your heads for your redemption draws nigh. That's speaking to you and I as the church. That's speaking of the rapture of the church when you see the beast system developing, then look up, lift up your heads for your redemption is drawing nice. So that would be Titus two thirteen, looking for that blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and savior Jesus Christ. And that's the hope that we have. And according to Revelation three ten, we're not gonna be here. We're gonna be raptured out before he's gonna save us from the wrath to come. Revelation three. And because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon the world to try them who dwell upon the earth. And so the church of Philadelphia, a church that's been pressured and and gone through difficulty, the Lord says, because you've been faithful unto me, I'm gonna keep you from the hour of the time of temptation that's coming upon the earth. So that's another good reference of the rapture. So for the day is near, even the day of the Lord is near, a cloudy day. It shall be the time of the nation. So it's it's the time where the times of the Gentiles ends according to Luke twenty one twenty four we just read. When it starts, there's no delay. It's dominoes happening. Behold, I come quickly, near, and and the sword shall come upon Egypt and great pain shall be in Ethiopia and the slain shall fall in Egypt and they shall take away the multitude and the foundation shall be broken down. So all these Gentile nations are gonna be destroyed during the tribulation period. Let's look at some verses that pertain to this time. Who wants Joel? The book of Joel twelve one and two. A cloudy day, a dark day. Who wants Joel two one and two? Who wants Psalm two? Okay. And Zephaniah one fifteen. Okay. Revelation fourteen nineteen. Daniel 12 verse one. Okay? And I'll start it off. Revelation six seventeen. So the timeline, the outline of the book of Revelation. You guys know the outline. Right? Chronological order. He's told in Revelation chapter one. Vicky knows this. She studies Revelation every morning. She loves it. And people are telling me they wanna study it again. So the outline is verse 19 of chapter one. John's told, write the things which thou hast seen. So that's in the past. What did John see? He saw in Revelation one, the risen Christ. He got a vision of Jesus. Then it says, write the things which are. That's in the in the present tense. So write the church age. Revelation two and three is the church age. And so it's it telescopes over over there were individual churches, but all telescopes over the church age description of different types of churches. So write the things which are, and then write the things which shall be hereafter. So John the revelators caught up into a like a time machine and that word hereafter is and it means after these things, after the church age. So in Revelation two and three, you have the church age. In Revelation four, notice what he says in verse one. Again, see the word. So after this, after the church age, I looked and behold a door was opened in heaven and the first voice that I heard was as it were a trumpet talking with me which said come up here and I'll show thee things which must be hereafter after these things, after the church age. So in chapter four and five, we see the church in heaven. Chapter six starts the tribulation period and it starts with Jesus in chapter five is the only one worthy to open the scroll and loose the seals. The seals are the seal judgments that are coming. So in chapter six, I saw when the lamb opened one of the seals and I heard as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four living creatures saying, come. And I saw him, behold, a white horse, and he that sat and had a bow and a crown was given unto him, and he went forth conquering and to conquer. And so this is the antichrist and the wars are gonna take place. So it breaks out in the first seal of war. And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature say, come. And there went another horse that was red and power was given unto him that sat on it to take peace from the earth. So there's war, there's breaking out, and you got famine, you got pestilence, so is the the riders of the apocalypse, the four riders. And then you got on to chapter 19 at the return of Christ is the fulfillment of the tribulation period. So Armageddon and then a parenthetic teaching of what's happening. And so chapter 16, Armageddon, but also chapter 19 describing Jesus returning. Verse 17, I saw an angel standing in the sun and he cried with a loud voice saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, come and gather yourselves together with the supper of the great God that you may eat the flesh of kings and the flesh of captains and the flesh of the mighty men, the flesh of horses and them that sat upon the flesh of all men. So Jesus returns and he returns with 10 thousands and thousands of a saint in Revelation 19, the first part of it. And let us be glad and rejoicing and have honored him for the marriage of the lamb has come so he got the marriage supper of the lamb. And and I saw heaven open and behold a white horse He that sat upon him was called faithful and true and righteous. Does he judge and make war and his eyes were like a flame of fire. So verse 11, the second coming of Christ, he's the real rider on the white horse. The false one was the antichrist of Revelation six. And and anti means in place of. So in place of Jesus Christ, Satan's counterfeit, the unholy trinity. And so Revelation six seven, for the great day of his wrath, that great day, the day of the lord, of his wrath has come, and who shall be able to stand? Who's gonna be able to stand up against his wrath that he's pouring out? So we cry out, Lord, in your wrath, remember mercy. Remember mercy. Alright. So who's next? Joel two twelve one and two? Joel two twelve. Excuse me. Two one through two. Blow ye the trumpet in Zion and sound an alarm in my holy mountain. Let all the inhabitants of the land tremble for the day of the lord cometh for it is nigh at hand. A day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick darkness. As the morning spreads upon the mountains, a great people and strong, there hath not even been ever the like, either shall be anymore after it, even to the years of many generations. Amen. Zephaniah one fifteen. Revelation fourteen nineteen. And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth and gathered the vine of the earth and cast it into the great wine press of the wrath of God. Blood's gonna be as high as the horse's bridle. And that sickle we see in Isaiah chapter sixty three one through three. Jesus trampling out the vintage and And so just crushing his enemies. And then let's see. Daniel 12 verse one. Oh, that's me. Hold on. Daniel twelve one. At that time, Michael, the great prince who protects your people will arise. There will be a time of distress such as has not happened from the beginning of nations until then. But at that time, your people, everyone whose name is found written in the book will be delivered. Praise the lord. You can keep going if you want. Multitudes who sleep in the dust of the earth will awake and some to everlasting life and others to shame and everlasting contempt. And that's the resurrection that Martha understood when Lazarus was dead. She believed in the resurrection, a general resurrection. And so those who believe and those who don't. Michael's pointing out this can be a time that's coming, a time of Jacob's trouble that the world has never seen or will ever see again. And then Psalm two is one of our favorites because they're plotting and scheming the devil and all of his minions to stop Jesus from returning, to keep him from taking possession of the planet that he created and that he redeemed. And they're set up there at Armageddon. They've gathered together the the armies of the Antichrist, and they're converging at the area of Basra in Southern Jordan trying to stop the return of Jesus, and the antichrist is chasing after that one third remnant that's preserved in the area of Petra. And so Psalm two, who has that? How many verses? Maybe. Three? Sure. Praise the lord. Thank you. In verse four, and the sword shall come upon Egypt in great pain shall be in Ethiopia. When the slain shall fall in Egypt, they shall take away the multitudes and the foundation shall be broken down. So these Gentile nations are gonna be all destroyed. The focus is here primarily of that of Egypt. And and we would say that, you know, the Lord's gonna break it down and build back better, use their phrase. Mhmm. Gonna build back on Jesus. Right? Everything's gonna be torn down and built back on Jesus. He's the foundation that upon this rock, I'll build my church. You know? Ethiopia and Put and and Lud and all the mingled people and Kub, which is which is Libya, and the men of the land that is in a league shall fall with them by the sword. So there's gonna be allies. The Antichrist can have his armies and an alliance of nations that are gonna try and destroy the nation of Israel and destroy Jesus from taking possession. When when Nebuchadnezzar is gonna be used of God with the Babylonians to destroy Egypt here in a few verses. There's also gonna be an alliance of nations that are gonna try and help mercenaries, if you will, people that are paid, paid armies, and they're all gonna fail. They're all going to be subdued. Verse verse six, thus saith the lord god, they also that uphold Egypt shall fall and the pride of her power shall come down from the Tower Of Sevna that shall fall in by the sword saith the Lord God. So Egypt's gonna be destroyed from north to south is what this is saying over the over the entire area, gonna be destroyed. Complete defeat, complete destruction of Egypt and they shall be desolate in the midst of the countries that are desolate and her city shall be in the midst of the cities that are wasted. And they shall know that I am the Lord when I have set a fire in LA. No. In Egypt. And when all her helpers shall be destroyed. So they're they're not gonna have these mercenaries able to help them. Everyone's gonna know that it's it's it's it's of the Lord and they're gonna be helpless. They're gonna be burning things up. And who would have ever thought that fire, forest fires, was so effective at destroying whole cities. When when have you ever seen something like that? You know, just thousands and thousands of houses and areas. You know, you would think it would be limited to grassy areas or, you know, out in the forest, you know, out but the cities the cities, how how could how could it how could it be that every house, everything's just burning up, you know, except the blue VW bus over there or a blue roofed lead painted building, you know, that kind of thing. It's it's bizarre to try and figure this stuff out. But God says he's gonna defeat and destroy and use fire, gonna burn it to the ground and gonna be completely wasted. And they shall be desolate in the midst of the countries that are desolate and their cities shall be in the midst of the cities that are wasted. And they shall know that I am the Lord when I have set a fire in Egypt and when all her helpers shall be destroyed. In that day shall messengers go forth from me in the ships to make the careless Ethiopians afraid and great and them shall come upon them as in that day of Egypt for low it comes. So gonna go up and down the Nile River and various canals, a means of transportation, and the word's gonna get to the careless Ethiopians in Africa that, hey. You better get ready too. So when they when they say peace and safety, then sudden destruction comes upon them suddenly as travail upon a woman. So there's gonna be certain people that think like, oh, thank god we weren't there. Thank thank god it was only in Ukraine that people got wasted because of war and such. We're safe here in America, and I hope it never comes here and all. And so we're kinda careless, if you will, but but it could happen here. It could happen. Word could get out and the lord says, alright, your time's up too. Thus saith the lord god, I will, verse 10, also make the multitudes of Egypt to cease by the hand of Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon. And so he's he's gonna cause that these people, the multitudes of people be wiped out and that Nebuchadnezzar's gonna be the ones that wipes out these people. And we can cross reference this with Jeremiah forty three ten through 13, but we don't see the fulfillment of this prophecy, but we do see it fulfilled by Josephus and we also see in a British museum a clay tablet of May that the pharaoh Amasis the second was defeated by Nebuchadnezzar just as just as it says here in this verse. And and his people with him, the terrible and of the nation shall be wrought to destroy the hand. And and so they say that this this particular leader at this time, this pharaoh was Amesis the second the terrible. And shall draw their swords against Egypt and fill the land with the slain. So whole place just wiped out. God's gonna use Nebuchadnezzar, the Babylonians as his instrument of war. And and he says, and I'll make the rivers. Now notice how many times I will I will I will I will. It's God doing it. Nebuchadnezzar is just the tool in his hand that God's using. He says, and I will make the river dry. So you're gonna dry up the Nile River which is just crucial. This is the main lifeblood to Egypt is the Nile River. And I'll make the river dry dry and sell the land into the hand of the wicked and I'll make the land waste and all that is in it by the hand of foreigners. And I the Lord have spoken. So you can bank on it. It's a done deal. God's gonna do this. Thus saith the Lord God, I will also destroy the idols. So now we're getting to the religious side of it. You see the physical side of the nation, the people, and now it comes down to the idolatrous system. Egypt used to be a world dominating power and God's gonna gonna take them down completely. So Ra is their sun god, and then is it Ammon or Ammon? Ammon. Ammon is their wind and air god. They have many gods, multiple, but Ra is their sun god. And so he's coming to the the center of their religious area which is thus saith the lord god, I will also destroy the idols and I will cause their images to cease from Memphis. So Memphis is one of the it's the lower part of Egypt and it's a religious city, a center of of idolatry. So the apostle Paul in Acts 17 was in Athens. In Athens, the whole city was wholly given over to idolatry. So there's certain cities that even like Ephesus, you know, greatest Diana of the Ephesians. And so the cities are known for their idolatrous practices. If I were to go to Louisiana to New Orleans, what are one of the characteristics of the occult in New Orleans? Gras. Mardi Gras is a celebration. But what's there? The occultic practices of what? Voodoo? Many other idolatrous things. Right? And we know that. We know that that's a center, a place like that. And if we went to Cuba, if we went to Haiti, Haiti is known for voodoo and a lot of witchcraft and stuff. So so Memphis, this isn't in Tennessee, and there shall be no more a prince of the land of Egypt and I'll put fear in the land of Egypt. So the idols are destroyed and there's no leadership. There's no leadership anymore. No leadership from governmental leadership nor religious leadership. And now he's gonna deal with the upper Egypt. And I'll make Pathros desolate and will set fire in Zoan and will execute judgments in Noe. And so the the upper area also, this is a royal area and then Zohan and Pathros. I took a picture of a of a map there. Let's see if I can find it. So Zoan is also called Tannis. Tophanes below that, Avon or Hilopolis in the Greek, Pibles, Bubastis, Noth is also Memphis. So Memphis and Noth are the same same city. The city Sin is called Pelusium. And so we'll see that in a second here. And helps to have a map if you're when you're studying this. And I'll make Paphros desolate and I will set fire in Zohan and will execute judgments and know and I'll pour my fury upon sin, the strength of Egypt, which is also named Pelusium. The strength of Egypt means this was a military headquarters, a military stronghold. And I will cut off multitudes of nor, so people, gonna wipe out the people in this area. And that's another another name for nor is Ammon. And I will set fire in Egypt. Sin shall have great pain and no shall be torn asunder and Memphis shall distresses daily. So these are major cities that that the lord's gonna gonna destroy. And then And I'll set fire in Egypt to sin which have great pain and no shall be torn asunder and Memphis shall have distress daily. The young men of and this is city that's called Sun City, the city of the sun, of Pibeseth and this is Pibeseth is a city that's given over to cats. If you're a cat person, this the Egyptians worship cats, like cats. Cleopatra and them make their makeup like cat eyes and all that, I guess. I don't know. And but idols of cats shall fall by the sword and the city shall go into captivity. And Tophanes, which is a royal city for pharaoh, Tophanes. Also the day the day shall be darkness when I shall break there the yokes of Egypt and the pomp of her strength shall cease in her. As for a cloud shall cover her and her daughter shall go into captivity. So war storm, storms of war, major cities, the darkness, the gloominess, and even one of the pharaoh's royal residence is in Tophanes and so the pomp and the glory of it, the lord says I'm gonna take down. Thus will I execute judgments in Egypt and they shall know that I am the lord. And so there's a day of wrath according to Romans two verse five and that day of wrath where God's gonna judge sin, and we're thankful again that his wrath was poured out upon his son upon the cross of Calvary. There's no fearful looking to have judgment for you and I. And Jesus prayed in the Garden Of Gethsemane, father, if you're willing, remove this cup from me. It's a cup of wrath, but nevertheless not as I will, but thy will be done. And so we see that Jesus as a substitute went to the cross for us and God's fully just and holy. He has to punish sin and he punished sin in in by pouring out his wrath upon his son. And we see the cry of Jesus, my God, my God, why has thou forsaken me? Why art thou so far from my roaring? And he that knew no sin, speaking of Jesus, became sin that we might be made the righteousness of god in him. And so god, again, poured out his wrath upon his son. Jesus took that punishment that we deserved and and was buried, raised himself from the dead, seated at the right hand of the father. So God's fully just and that he punished sin, but he's also gracious other parts of his character and and loving and kind and gracious. And so there's an unconditional covenant that we enjoy because Jesus paid the price with his precious blood to redeem us from the debt that we owe that we couldn't pay. And so these guys have a fearful looking to a judgment because they don't know Jesus. Verse 20. And it came to pass in the eleventh year, in the first month, in the seventh day of the month that the word of the lord came unto me saying. So this is April 29 that Ezekiel is getting this word from the lord. He says, son of man, I have broken the arm of pharaoh, king of Egypt. Now this pharaoh here is pharaoh Hefra. And pharaoh Hefra, his name means strong-arm. He's got a muscly arm. And he's he's got some guns on him. So I've broken the arm of pharaoh king of Egypt and lo, it shall not be bound up to be healed. So he's got a broken arm and the Lord's saying I'm not gonna allow a sling for him to put his arm in a sling or a cast or anything on it. His strongest arm that he has has been rendered helpless, you know, against me. And it's not gonna be held up to be healed. So Egypt's not gonna be healed. Egypt's not gonna make a comeback, you know, after this. And we see Egypt today is like a third rate nation. They're not a prominent dominant nation. When they try to attack Israel, Israel whoops on them. And so they they know they better not go after Israel. Israel's very small, but God protects Israel. And they they're prolific at warfare. So he says bound up to be healed and put a bandage to bind it to make it strong to hold the sword. So you're not gonna be able to hold the sword. You're gonna be weak militarily. You're not gonna be able to lead your people in battle anymore. I'm gonna make you weak and So some trust in horses, some in chariots. But we're gonna trust what? The Yesterday, living I was asked by somebody if you could if you could speak to congress this week and have a verse of the bible. Which verse of the bible would you want to be in the speech that's gonna be made to congress? And I said, am I going? No. They didn't say that. And so I thought of the verse that said that righteousness exalts a nation and sins are approached to any people. Right? In Proverbs 14. And but then I I as I was thinking on that, I think, oh, how would they receive that? They'd act like they're so righteous. You know? And and I thought of problem solving. What do you what do you do? What are you what are you gonna say? So you can hear Moses crying out to the Lord. You can hear Hezekiah crying out to the Lord. You can hear Josiah crying out to the Lord. Solomon had a good prayer. You know, he started out well. And you hear Daniel interceding on behalf of the nation, you know, before the Lord. Had a lot of good things to say. But for me, I see that people are looking to Trump as a problem solver, as somebody that can fix everything that's broke, that the Democrats broke, so to speak. So for me, the verse I gave him that I thought would be most important is Matthew six thirty three. Seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you. So basically, calling America back to Jesus to put him first. Now, could've went to second Chronicles seven fourteen, which they've heard a million times. Right? Right? You could do that. If my people right? So you could go there. And then some people would say, oh, no. No. We're not the Jews. That's a verse specifically for the Jews. You know, if my people are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray, turn from their wicked ways and seek my face, then I'll hear from heaven. I'll forgive their sin and heal their land. Okay? That's that's basically every Christian gives that out there as a solution to our you know, how messed up we are. And and I like the context of Matthew six thirty three. The heathen are concerned about what they're gonna eat, what they're gonna drink, what they're gonna wear, and Jesus lets us know that he closed the fields. And Solomon, all of his glory, wasn't, you know, clothed like that. And he feeds the birds, and so we have the economy. We have jobs. We have all these things we're looking at. And we got all of our ingenuity and all the experts and all the Elon Musk, and everybody's there trying to solve all these problems, and it's like it's real simple. I said, it's just like in your marriage. If things are messed up on the horizontal in your marriage, the solution is vertical. Get right with God. Just put the Lord first and let the Lord fix all those problems, you know. Pretty simple. Matthew six, seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness. All these other things bad to undo. So what do you do with the people who've turned their back upon God? The Ninevites, forty days in you're gonna perish. So that's what I say when people say, well, second Chronicles seven fourteen is is just for the Jews. And I say, can I give you an example of a Gentile nation that had a reprieve? God didn't judge them because they repented. And the message was simply, forty days and you're gonna perish. And they took it serious enough because the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. The fear of the Lord is beginning of knowledge. And God gave them a reprieve of over a hundred years before he finally judged the Ninevites. So America is supposed to be a country that's founded on a Judeo Christian ethic of Old Testament and New Testament, and we've drifted away. And we're putting our confidence in man. Right? In a man. So call the nation back to Jesus and watch what Jesus will do. Okay. So that was my thought. I hope and pray that the Lord give the leaders ears to hear. Right? Ears to hear. So this Hoffer guy, he was strong at one point but now he's weak. Therefore, thus saith the Lord God, behold I am against pharaoh king of Egypt and will break his arms. So now plural. Your right arm, secret of your strength, your big guns, I broke that one and I won't even let him to sling. Now I'm gonna come over and break your left arm. So, I mean, I got a weird thought here, but you got two broken arms. I mean, you can't even eat. Right? Whole lot of things you can't do with two broken arms. Whole lot of things. Right? And I don't even know how you get into bed. How do you brace yourself? So the strong and that which was broken and I'll cause the sword to fall out of his hands. So you can be helpless. You can't even hold a a sword anymore. And I will scatter the Egyptians among the nations and will disperse them through the countries. Now we saw this in chapter twenty nine eight through 12, but this hasn't happened. This hasn't happened yet. Israel's happened. They were dispersed all over the world and then they came back into the land. So most of the commentators feel that this is going to happen during the millennium. They're gonna be drawn back in. They're gonna be scattered after the tribulation period, Egypt, all over the place. And then at the millennium, they're gonna be regathered after forty years. It's the best they can come up with. So I will scatter the Egyptians among the nations and will disperse them through the countries and I will strengthen the arms of the king of Babylon and put my sword in his hand but I will break Pharaoh's arms and he shall groan before him with the groaning of a deadly wounded man. And so God said it, God did it, and, you know, that settles it for us. So but I will strengthen the arms of the king of Babylon and the arms of pharaoh shall fall down and they shall know that I am the lord. So you remember when turn to Exodus chapter 17. I'll strengthen the arms strengthen the arms of Babylon. Remember the story when Moses is going after the Amalekites? And as long as you lift your arms up, you're winning. Right? You're lifting the arms up speaks of worship, and it also speaks of surrender under your father. Right? A little child lifts their arms up there. They up, daddy. Up. Up, papa. Lift me up. And so it's an expression of surrender too. Put your arms up. And so he's seventeen eight. And it says, then came Amalek and fought with Israel and Rephidim. And Moses said unto Joshua, choosest out men and go out and fight with the Amalekites tomorrow. So the Amalekites Egypt's a type of the world and Amalekites are a type of the flesh. The Amalekites were to be totally eradicated. The flesh there's no means of reforming the flesh. You have to destroy the flesh. You have to crucify the flesh. You have to kill the flesh. And so as a Christian, the new life that we live is life of the spirit, not in the flesh. If we walk in the spirit, we won't fulfill the lust of the flesh. So reckon the old man dead, crucify the flesh, mortify the deeds of the body, and that's that's the Amalekites. So with Amalek tomorrow I will stand on top of the hill and the rod of God in my hand. And Joshua did as Moses had said to him and fought with Amalek and Moses, Aaron, and Hur went up to the top of the hill. And it came to pass when Moses held up his hand that Israel prevailed and when he let down his hand Amalek prevailed. So we talked about yesterday about our sufficiency being of Christ and who is sufficient for these things. And we come back with the answer, our sufficiency is Christ. So then I try and paint a picture of gross inadequacy. So when I came to Bremerton, had no money. I had two pairs of pants, two shirts. I I wasn't dressed for success. Was overweight. I didn't know what I was doing. I didn't have a clue. Not a clue. Grossly, grossly inadequate to come to Bremerton and to even attempt to plant a church. But one thing I did have, and Kathy and I had, I don't know if we have it anymore, was a crazy I mean, the most crazy faith you ever saw. I knew I was inadequate, but I knew my God was a big God. And I would jump out of the boat to walk on water in a heartbeat. There was nothing I was afraid of. And and we went for it. We went for it. We went for it. He says, upon this rock, I'll build my church and the gates of hell will not prevail. That's a picture of storming the gates of hell. It's not defense on your heels. We're storming the city. Right? And so never ever ever did I think, hey, I'm smart enough for this. I'm anything of this. And so in this battle, it's a picture of dependence upon the Lord. It's a picture of worshiping the Lord, relying upon him. The arms are up. Lord, I'm relying upon you, and the arms are down, kinda like the children of Israel, Joshua and the guys going to Jericho, and the Lord given them a very unorthodox way to defeat the city of Jericho. Circle around the city and March one time and, you know, and then the seventh day go around it seven times and 13 times, you know, marching around the city and blow a trumpet and the walls will fall. And the walls fall which way? In. No? Out. Out. So if you're doing it in the flesh, you're pushing the walls down. But God pushed the walls out, then they went into the city. And Gideon, the same way. Various types of battles. David, you know, with the slingshot with Goliath. The battle belongs to the Lord. All of us are grossly inadequate. Grossly inadequate as parents. I mean, you can't how do you raise kids? How do you do it anymore? What how can you do what God's called you to do as a parent? You need help. How can you live the Christian life that God's called you to live? You need help. We need help. We can't do it ourselves. And we do have help. We have help. So Erin and her, one on the left and one on the right, is a picture of prayer. Is a picture of intercession intercessionary prayer where even when we get weakened and we were so weakened in the battle that our we can't hold our arms back up, the Lord brings in Aaron and Hur to lift our arms for us to pray and to help us as we rely upon the Lord. And so these are your prayer partners, people that pray. And I'm so thankful for everybody that prays for us and that remembers us in prayer and continues to pray. So on top of the hill with the rod of God in my hand, and I Joshua did as Moses had said to him and fought with Amalek. And Moses, Aaron, and Hur went up to the top of the hill. And it came to pass when Moses held up his hand that Israel prevailed, and when he let it down his hand, Amalek prevailed. So the children of Israel after they defeated Jericho, they just flippantly went up after Ai and they didn't pray. They didn't ask the Lord. They didn't ask for directions. They just thought, hey, we were so big and bad against Jericho. Let's go get Ai. And they got discomfited. They got whooped on. And they lost and they're they're all like bummed out. What happened? What happened? What happened? And then they begin to realize there's sin in the camp. Number one, we didn't pray and ask the Lord. Number two, we were told that all the spoil belonged to the Lord. That all the gold, the silver, the Babylonian garments, all that stuff belongs to the Lord in this first victory. The first always goes to God. Right? The best. And AI or excuse me, Achan was Achan because at AI, he grabbed some of the talents of gold and silver and garments and he buried them under his tent. So there's what we call sin in the camp. So defeat can come because there's sin in the camp which defiles us. And so we would call it unconvested sin. Something that we're doing that compromises us and invites in, you know, where we have a lack of faith and lack of confidence in God. And so you gotta clean the camp. You gotta go find Achan and deal with them and deal with that sin, then you get to move on. And that's what they did. Now I don't know how that applies to your life and how it applies to my life. I know that the Lord says, if the Lord were marked iniquities, who could stand? And so a lot of the defeat in my life and things that just crushing crushing defeat, I try to analyze my life and ask the Lord, alright, Lord, is there sin in the camp? You know, what is it about me that you hate so much? You know, tell me tell me what it is. I'll confess it gladly. I'll I'll stop. All this, all that. And and then I got this thing where my head goes, I know this pastor did this, and I know this pastor did that. I know this church is like that. I met that guy. And they're no better than me. So why me? You know? And it's hard to it's hard to look at it from a standpoint of pluses and minuses of cause and effect. Sometimes it's just God's will for your life to break you. It's just God's will. And sometimes he chooses you to go through failure for him to be glorified in. Not always not always this worldly success. And we would call it failure from a world standpoint, but the Lord says, I'm gonna take Satan up on this and I'm gonna let Satan whoop on you, and I'm gonna show everybody that you still love me. And that's a win because it's based upon faith. You still love the Lord. Even if something unjust comes into your life, it's not always because there's sin in the camp, you know. Because God bragged on Job. God said, have you ever considered my servant Job man perfect and upright in all of his ways, a man that fears God and excused evil? I mean that's pretty good promotion there. That's pretty good. And Satan says, well, he's a mercenary. He doesn't love you for you. You take away all of his stuff, you bless him so much and remove that hedge of protection like get after him and he'll curse you to your face. So the Lord's glorified in that Job sinned not with his lips. That Job response was blessed be the name of the Lord. Naked came out of the world naked I'm gonna go, the Lord giveth the Lord take away blessed be the name of the Lord. Though he slay me while I trust in him, he knows the way that I take and when he's tried me I'm gonna come forth as gold. So those are all verses and promises that bring, you know, God the glory even in a time of defeat. It's really easy to praise God and give God the glory when it's one win after another. But when all of a sudden, a curveball comes and something hits you from outside, you gotta walk by faith. Just gotta keep walking by faith. So Aaron, Moses, and Hur went up to the top of the hill. It came to pass when Moses held up his hand, Israel prevailed. And when he let down his hand, Amalek prevailed. So you give in to the area of the flesh, the flesh is gonna defeat. There will be defeat in the area of the flesh. Life of the spirit is where is where the victory is wrought. But Moses hands were heavy and they took the stone and they put it under him and sat thereon and Aaron Hur held up his hands, the one on the one side, the other on the other side, and his hands were steady until the going down of the sun. And Joshua vanquished Amalek and his people with the edge of the sword. And the Lord said unto Moses, write this for a memorial in a book and rehearse it in the ears of Joshua and I utterly put out of the remembrance of Amalek from the heaven. And Moses built an altar and called the name of it Jehovah Nissi. What's that mean? Banner. The Lord our banner. Banner speaks of warfare, speaks of winning. For he said because the Lord has sworn that the Lord will have war with Amalek from generation to generation, So this flesh war just always is always there until we get our new glorified body. And so there you go. So back to our text, chapter 30. He says, but I'll strengthen the arms of the king of Babylon. And, you know, we like when God is smiling upon us. We like when the Lord strengthens us. We like when the Lord provides and keeps that hedge of protection around us. And there was something I noticed when I was studying the the book of Job one time. And you guys wanna go there? It might be something you're interested in. It's so peculiar. Think it's in chapter three. So you're in chapter one and two, and Satan's allowed past the hedge of protection. Right? He gets past the hedge of protection, and we always pray, Lord, keep that hedge of protection around my children. Lord, keep that hedge of protection around, you know, the church and those we love. Don't let the devil come in and slaughter them. You know? And because we we like being protected. And Peter talks about how we're kept. And that word kept that he uses speaks of a military garrison. We're kept. We're protected. The lord protects us. We're always protected. If he if he totally pulled his hand back, we're no match for the devil. But greater is he that's in me than he that's in the world. Since God's for me, who can be against me? So I have this confidence that, hey, my sufficiency of Christ. I just gotta go for it. Go till he stops me. And but in chapter three, Job asks a question. Verse 23. Why is light given to a man whose way is hidden and whom God has hedged in? Ugh. Now I'm trapped. I'm not getting out of that trial. He used to protect me from the trial. The hedge was there. The devil couldn't get in. The devil couldn't get in to take away my stuff. The devil couldn't get in to cause me sickness. But now he's giving me light. I'm learning. I'm still in fellowship. But I don't I don't know what went wrong. I don't know which way to go. My way is hidden now. Whom God has hedged in. So you know what? You gotta get to chapter 38 to find out. You gotta get to Job two point o where the Lord says, you know what? Where were you when? Where were you when I hung the, you know, the earth when can you can you catch Leviathan? Can you deal with behemoth? If you can't answer those questions, then you don't know my dealings because my ways, you know, in Isaiah, are higher than your ways and past finding out. So that's where faith comes in. We trust the Lord. We don't know why, but there are times where you feel hedged in, where, alright, this is a trial he has for me and this came to pass. It came, but it's gonna pass. And so at some point, whether at death and you get your new body or at another point in time, like with Job, the Lord rewarded Job and gave Job back everything that he'd lost. And but Job still needed to repent. Job the Lord brought Job the place of repentance that you will trust me and walk by faith. And it's not based upon how good you are, how faithful you are, and all that. It's my grace in your life. It's my mercy in your life. And if I give you adversity, then glorify me in the adversity just as much in the time of blessing. So I'll strengthen the arms of the king of Babylon and the arms of pharaoh shall fall down and they shall know that I am the Lord when I shall put out my sword into the hand. Now later God's gonna God's gonna wipe out the Babylonians. Right now the Babylonians are in favor with God and he's using the Babylonians as an instrument of judgment. Later he's gonna use Cyrus, the Persian, and Darius the Mede to after seventy years of of Babylon being great, the shelf life's up. Your your kingdom's finished in Daniel five. You wait in the balance, found one. Your kingdom divided and given to the Medes and the Persians. And so god uses Cyrus and and Darius to subdue the Babylonians. And then later he uses Alexander the Great to subdue the Persians. And then after that he uses the Romans to subdue the Greeks. And so the shelf life of nations. So fall down and they shall know that I am the Lord when I shall put my sword into the hand of the king of Babylon and he shall stretch it out upon the land of Egypt. So there's a period of time as Babylon was developing as a nation that they weren't strong enough to deal with Egypt and the Assyrians. And then later as they gain more and more strength, they're able to defeat all those nations. They gain great strength. And the Assyrians tried to destroy Judah. They were successful in July to destroy the 10 northern tribes, but they weren't strong enough to destroy Judah, the southern tribe. And but then later, God used the Babylonians May to destroy, Jerusalem. So I'll scatter the Egyptians among the nations and disperse them among the countries and they shall know, that I am the lord. Now turn to Daniel chapter 11. We'll finish up there. So here we have the scattering of Egypt again. Now Daniel chapter 11 verse 40, it looks like that this is gonna happen during Armageddon. He says, and at the time of the end shall the king of the South push at him and the king of the North shall come against him like a whirlwind with many ships and he shall enter into the countries and shall overflow and pass through. He shall enter in also into the glorious land. So the antichrist is gonna have these victories and then he's gonna enter into the glorious land of Israel. And many countries shall be overthrown but these shall escape of his hand. Even Edom and Moab and the chief of the children of Ammon. Where's that at? Where's that location? Iran. I heard somebody. Iraq? No. Basra. Jordan. Southern Jordan. So the antichrist is gonna subdue all these different nations, but one nation, one area he's not gonna subdue, God won't let him subdue is ancient Moab, which is present day Southern Jordan, is Petra. Right? Ain't that fascinating? That during the tribulation period, here's a place where God's gonna say, you're gonna get to escape to? And and then he says, and he shall stretch forth his hand also upon the countries and the land of Egypt shall not escape. So the Antichrist can destroy, you know, what's left of the Egyptians. But he shall have power over the treasures of gold and of silver and over the precious things of Egypt and the Libyans and the Ethiopians shall be his steps. So the spoils, the tombs of the pharaohs, like the Germans tried to take all the stuff when they were, you know, wherever they went. And so he's gonna be able to take the riches that's still left of the of the Egyptians and their pyramids and their tombs and such. But tidings out of the East and out of the North shall trouble him. So Babylon's gonna get hit. Babylon's gonna be smoking. Right? Right? Destroyed. And so when you the whole world's gonna be looking on the mariners. Everybody's looking on the mariners, the monarchs, and are gonna be looking on at Babylon because as in a moment, it's destroyed and the smoke's building went up in the air. And but tidings out of the East and out of the North shall trouble him. Therefore, he shall go forth with great fury to destroy and utterly to sweep away many. So Libya and Iran and Ethiopia. And he shall plant the tabernacles of the palace between the seas and the glorious holy mountains and so that of Jerusalem. But so that's the the the tribulation period of the antichrist and his armies and what he's gonna go after. And and so we see here that I will scatter the Egyptians among the nations, disperse them among the countries, and they shall know that I am the lord. So during Armageddon, that time of Armageddon, they're gonna be scattered and the Lord's gonna let them be regathered for the time in the millennium. And they're gonna be restored in the sense that they're gonna become believers in Jesus in that time because only believers enter into the millennial the millennium. And they start out everybody starts out as believers. It's the offspring of the Gentile nations that enter into the millennium that have unbelievers, unbelieving children, if if you can even fathom that. And so alright. Well, let's pray. Father, we thank you that we could discuss things and kinda observe the times in which we're living and trying to connect the dots of the puzzle of so many things that are happening. We Lord, we thank you for how easy it is to spot some of these things, Lord, because that's because you've given us faith. You've given us discernment. And, some of this stuff's just an incredible no brainer. The one world economic system, anybody could see that coming, Lord. The one world governmental system, it's it's moving in that direction, Lord. Things are things are moving. The one where religious system's a little bit harder to see. The church is still here. But Lord, when you rapture us out of here, boy, all these things are gonna be so intense and happen even quicker. And the wars, the rumors of wars, the famines, the pestilence, all the things that you're that are preludes, the time of the Gentiles, the nation of Israel in the land, so many factors, so many things happening so quickly. Babylon being rebuilt. Lord, truly, we live in a a pregnant prophetic time. The birthing of this beast system that's coming and ultimately, the campaign of Armageddon, the the apocalypse, the revelation moving as a campaign, moving in sequential order. Lord, we're we're just so amazed at the time we live in and continue to illumine our our hearts and minds and reveal your perfect will. You said seal up the book to Daniel that it was for the time of the end, that it wasn't for his generation or his time. But Lord, you've got it open for us. You've opened it. You're opening our eyes. It's not sealed. The Book of Revelation is the apocalypse, the unveiling of Jesus Christ. And Lord, we're so excited as we see this time coming of your soon return. And Lord, we pray that you'd anoint us, that you'd empower us, that we could present the true, very simple gospel to people whom you've prepared, Lord, that their ears can hear the truth of your coming kingdom. And, Lord, that they'd be like the five wise virgins who have oil, that they receive the Holy Spirit into their lives, that they'd be transformed and changed, that they'd be ready in a moment, the twinkling of an eye, Lord, when you're coming for us, your bride. So Lord, we're looking up, we're watching, we're occupying till you come, and we crowd even so come quickly, Lord Jesus. We we want you to come. And lord, we know as Domino's when that first one falls, it's going to go in rapid succession. Things are going to happen so quickly and and lord, so we don't know how much time we have but lord, we know that you know the times that we're living in And Lord, you you you tell us to know what time it is in the sense of it's high time to wake out of sleep for our salvation is near than when we first believe, Lord. So help us not be as those that are foolish that fall asleep, but that are awakened. Bring a great awakening, Lord. Bring a huge awakening, a prophetic awakening where people more and more people would see what's happening clearly that we could prepare and help others to see what's coming, that they'd not be deceived, Lord. And Lord, we're reminded in second Thessalonians two that because they suppress the truth, because they reject the truth, they reject what we're trying to awaken them to, that the world is given over to a strong delusion that they would believe the lie. And it's all because they reject the obvious truth that's right in front of them. That you're the savior of the world. That you love him. That you came. You're crucified. You're buried. You died. You ascended to right hand of your father. And you're coming again. It's so simple. I don't know why anyone would refute or reject. But Lord, they do. So, Lord, send us to those that that need to hear of your wondrous love, Lord. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
