Live from Bremerton. It's Monday night. Monday night. And we're celebrating Christmas early. Look at this snow globe. Look at that. Vicky bought me this yesterday from the general store in Port Gamble, and we are partying. We are celebrating Christmas. I'd play the music, the tune, but it would stumble rob, so I gotta just let you see that. It's the first snow globe I've ever owned. And I hear that, I heard last week that that's how the flat earth is, flat and then there's an orb. So for Robbie out there, Robbie, I'm with you. I'm with you, Robbie. Robbie, I'm with you too. Well, let's pray. Father, we come before you. Thank you that we can enjoy this season. We know a lot of folks are getting stressed out and and missing the reason for the season, Lord. It's it's hard to travel around and hit Costco in all these stores and all these gift buying and all this stuff going on and running out of time. We just pray for your peace that surpasses all understanding, that we guard our hearts and minds. Pray that you keep your hedge of protection around our loved ones. And, Lord, all those that are getting the sniffles and colds and flus and too much sugar, and we just pray for your healing touch upon their bodies. And we just commit the service in your hands tonight, Lord, and pray that you anoint them blast. Thank you for Rob and Vicky and Brandon opening their home, and we just pray that you'd be well pleased tonight, Lord. In Jesus' name, amen. Amen. I sing a simple song to my savior, to my Jesus. I'm grateful for the things you've done. Nice. Thank you, Rob. Alright. We're in Ezekiel 22, and I just wanted to point out if any of you saw The US Abraham Lincoln, I put it on the Calvary Chapel Bremerton Facebook, you know, Rick Bodrey. But on Sunday's sermon, I'd mentioned first Corinthians fifteen fifty eight, be steadfast, immovable, always abiding the work of the Lord for you know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord. And then we talked about how a lighthouse has waves and inclement weather and all sorts of stuff that pushes against it and tries to knock it over and all, but it remains there. And we told the story of a of a US vessel, an aircraft carrier, and with destroyers all around it going through the ocean and they see something on the radar and they tell that something to get out of the way, that move over that we're you know, I'm a I'm a aircraft carrier. You need to move. And guy on the other end of the radio says, no. We're we're not gonna move. You move. And they went back and forth. And finally, the person that was operating the lighthouse says he says, well, we're a, you know, we're a blah blah blah. We're a, you know, a aircraft carrier with a destroyer and all that. Went through his whole list and he says, well, we're a lighthouse. And then they're like, oh, okay. Okay. So anyway, AI must have heard that because when the later in the day when I was on Facebook, that video was, you know, posting and much you know, it says it much better than I can say it. And so anyway, I posted on in two places. So if if you wanna see that, the emphasis upon be steadfast and movable, always abound in the work of the Lord, for you know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord. So that's something to bring to your attention. And then in case you didn't know, I got a snow globe, new snow globe. This is the first snow globe that I've ever owned. And Vicky, my sister Vicky got it for me yesterday. And you notice it's called a globe because it's a circle. Right? And so flat earth, there's it could be flat with an orb, but, you know Flat at the bottom. It's a it reminds me of Christmas. It it has a Christmas tune on there. Alright. So I'll probably be shaking that for you a few times during this study just to see if you're awake. But I brought that all the way from Seabeck over here. To let you know, pastor, I did see your video about four times today. You did? Yeah. Hard to not watch it. Yeah. It was it was stunning. Stupendous. Stupendous. You know, tips. Well, it just kept showing up. I'm almost like Stupendous. Just I don't know a better word. Just Stupendous. Stupendous. Ezekiel chapter 22. Be in prayer for those that are sick. Christie's foot is getting better. She's got a little growth in her neck. She's gonna go in and have that biopsied. She also there was another one. What's the other one? She got some blood clots on her arm. Brittany, my daughter's got some blood clots, and continue to pray for Brittany. And Lynette Warren's mom, she needs prayer. And who else? My friend, Renny. She's got cancer right here. They're gonna cut it out tomorrow. Oh, alright. Renny. That that's nothing. She had terminal cancer, and she beat it. So it's nothing? This is just a little skin cancer. She's not even worried about it. Oh. It's like they're just gonna cut it out. Okay. But pray for her. Alright, Renny. Anybody else? Father, we come before you. We lift up Renny and, Lord, the c word, the big c word, cancer. She's overcome terminal cancer, wasn't terminal after all. And now she has a little skin cancer. And, Lord, we pray that we not underestimate it, that, they not have to go real deep. Just cut it out. And, thank you that they did that with my dad with his nose, and he's doing good. And so, be with Christie. Help her with her throat. Help her with her foot. Help her with her blood clot. Be with Britney with her blood clot. And little Tobias getting a cold and Ruthie a cold. And, Lord, we just lift up those Nancy with vertigo and Keith that was sick and others who are sick. Lord, we just pray for your healing touch and just pray that you give us the attention span as we study Ezekiel 22 that you'd be our teacher, the open scriptures to understanding, Lord, and that we go away and strengthen, refresh, and encourage, Lord. In Jesus' name, amen. Alright. Ezekiel 22. That attention span is for me. I don't know. You seem to do okay. If you get a box in the mail with Cheryl's name on it, don't open it. Alright. So do the globe again. Yeah. It's a major award. Right. Okay. Moreover, the word of the Lord came unto me saying, now the son of man, wilt thou judge, wilt thou judge the bloody city? Ye thou shalt show her all her abominations. So what city is he talking about? Jerusalem. Jerusalem. And what's the name Jerusalem mean? Say, a sea of peace. City of peace and city of the great king. Right? Yeah. And now it's become like Sodom and Gomorrah where our lord was crucified. Right? And bloody city. So a lot of innocent blood being shed because of idolatry, because of their idolatrous practices. They have unwanted pregnancies. And with those unwanted pregnancies, they, offer them in a demonic ritual, offering them under Baal. And, we've talked about this many times. And they have a place called the Valley Of Hinnom where we get the word Gehenna, where hell, you know, where the fire is never quenched, the worm died not. And so they'd burn these babies up and throw them into the dump and get rid of all the all the dead bodies, And nobody seems to care about it. Nobody cares one bit. You know, if you've got fifteen weeks, fifteen weeks is better than the whole term. You know? So they don't have the ability to judge anymore. They don't have the ability to discern between good and evil. And they've, they've reduced themselves as human beings to evaluating things based upon the lesser of two evils. Not standing for righteousness. You'll notice here he says, ye, thou shalt show her all her abominations. How many of you like confrontation? The prophet heir is told to confront the city, to confront the people. Do you like being confronted with your sin? Do you like being the one that has to go to the person and confront them? Rob's real good at it. He does it all over Facebook all the time. And his daughter his daughter, Britney, is pretty good at it too. But it's kinda like being a policeman. It's it's you're very zealous for the law, very zealous for what's right and what's wrong, and you can't just walk away. You just can't walk away with innocent children being exploited and trafficked and and manipulated, then, nowadays we have a thing called adrenachrome where a lot of the, Hollywood people and elites and wealthy people, they think there's a, fountain of youth in taking the blood from babies and having a blood transfusion. So like a vampire, take the blood of a baby and take that that has qualities within it that they believe will give them a more youthful you know, way of life, better than their old stale blood, I guess. Do you know why it's called adrenachrome? Adrenaline in it. I hear the word adrenaline? Yeah. So what they do is they they beat on the babies, smack them, get their adrenaline going really strong, screaming, and then that's when they take the blood. And they like that adrenaline that's in that blood to come into their bodies. It's called adrenachrome. Isn't that horrible? It is horrible. Sick. Right? And they have an appetite that's such that they can't get enough. More and more and more and more children being human trafficked and being used in this way. And the world just wants to act like it's not happening. And so the Lord's telling Ezekiel, hey, your job is to confront. And in chapter three and in chapter 33, he lets us know turn to chapter 33. Watch what happens if we don't confront. If you're one of those Christians that preaches an easy believism and verse eight verse seven. So thou son of man, I have set thee a watchman under the house of Israel. Therefore, thou shalt hear the word of my mouth and warn them from me. Part of being a Christian, of preaching and teaching is warning people. Jesus warned people more about hell than he did promising them heaven. When I say unto the wicked, oh wicked man, thou shalt surely die if thou doest not speak to warn the wicked from his way. That wicked man shall die in his iniquity, but his blood will I require at your hand. If you don't warn, then you're guilty. You're culpable. You are responsible for their blood. Their blood's on your hands. So that's why in Acts chapter 20, Paul used this phrase to describe that for the space of three years, night and day, that I ceased not to bring you the full counsel of God. And he said, so I'm innocent of your blood. Your blood's on you. You guys are now responsible because I warned you night and day with tears. Now he's talking to the elders who are pastors, and he tells the pastors, take heed that you watch over this flock whom the Lord purchased with his own blood. So they're blood bought. And so you make sure that you treat them right because after my departing, Paul said, there's gonna be grievous wolves. Some are gonna emanate from within and some come from without, not sparing the flock. So the shepherd is supposed to be able to warn. It's like a doctor, Renny. Renny went to the doctor and the doctor found a cancer cell on her chin. And that doctor had a biopsied and looked at it and said, hey. This is this is serious. This could spread. And people that know Matthew seven say, well, judge not lest you be judged, doc. Don't judge me. You can't judge me. So just let her continue then. Just let her continue in sin. Let her continue with that cancer on her face. Because, god, I don't want somebody to be mad at me. I don't want them to be mad at me when I tell them they have to have surgery, they have to stop sleeping together, or stop lying, cheating, stealing, or whatever. I I mean, if I tell them the truth about their sin, then they're not gonna like me. And God says, I'm gonna hold you accountable. You must confront. And in Matthew 18, within the church, we confront one person alone, first of all. Then we take a witness. Then we bring it before the leadership of the church. And so in first Corinthians five, when they weren't confronting the man that took his father's wife, so that's an incestuous relationship. When they didn't confront it, Paul said a little leaven leavens the whole lump. You gotta cut that leaven out. You gotta cut that cancer out. If you don't deal with that sin, that sin will permeate the whole church, and the church is gonna lose power, and it's going to lose the purity, and you risk grieving and quenching the holy spirit because it's just a just another religious social club. And and so God wants to make sure like remember Ananias and Sapphira in Acts chapter five? Weren't they confronted about their sin? They're confronted and when they lied, you haven't lied to a man, you've lied to God. They lied to the Holy Spirit. And boy, they both dropped dead. So God takes it serious. Says, nevertheless, if thou warn the wicked of his way to turn from it and he do not turn from his way, he shall die in his iniquity, but thou hast delivered thy soul. Therefore, O son of man, speak unto the house of Israel, thus speak saying, if our transgressions and our sins be upon us, and we pine away in them, how should we then live? So repent. Saying to them, as I live, saith the Lord God, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but that the wicked turn from his wicked way and live. Turn ye, turn ye for why we die, o house of Israel. So we have a responsibility to confront sin. So we would say the church has an immune system. And in that immune system, in the body of Christ, every action, attitude, everything we do is evaluated by the word of God. And the word of God determines what's right, what's wrong, what's good, what's evil. And it's not a mystery. It's real clear. And so if that immune system is working properly, then we speak the truth in love, and we point people to the cross, and we encourage them to repent and stop doing what they're doing. And if they won't, then it becomes more, you know, more severe, the the action. So you don't wanna sacrifice the whole church for one person's sin that begins to spread and pollutes and corrupts the work that God's trying to do. So too in a home, in your home, you gotta confront sin. But again, pastors, Christians, moms, dads, police officers, everybody, medics, we all wanna get at the the at the means of bringing healing, of bringing restoration. That's the goal. If any man be overtaken in a fault, you are a spirit to restore such one in the spirit of meekness, lest you also be tempted. So we the goal is restoration. It's not condemnation. And we're wanting we're wanting to restore a person to fellowship. I have lots of guys that tell me over the years, I've had several, several guys, lots of guys tell me that they quit smoking pot because in my sermon I would say something like, Yeah, you're smoking pot and calling yourself a Christian, and you're saying it's just an herb, man. It's just an herb. God made an herb. And but you're sinning it. It's pharmakia. It's drugs. It's hallucinogenic. And just that little really cool statement, it's really cool, brought conviction into their lives and they quit smoking pot. You know, several of them. Pastor, I smoked for forty years. You know, the guys are saying, I thought I was a Christian. Well, you know, you were a loaded Christian if you were. I don't know. I mean, what are we gonna do at the bible study? We're gonna have a peace pie. Let's let's pass the bong. You know? Okay. Let's all pass the bong. Come on. What made you think that that was, you know, Christ like to do that? Well, I did it for my nerves. I did it medicinally. Is that why you say the gummies? They stop smoking it? Rob uses the gummies. A lot of people use gummies. Gummies can be medicinal. Opiates opiates kill you. So if you're using the cannabis in a gummy form for pain relief, that's something that's not going to be like an opiate that can take over your life. You know? So I always tell people at church, if my preaching is causing you to be anxious and you're filled with anxiety and and, you know, rather than taking your Xanax, you know, pop a gummy. Just take a gummy real quick and take a chill pill. No. I don't I don't do that. I don't say that. I joke with them because I know what's going on. Access stuff that really knocks you out? I don't know. I just heard the term. I don't know. Because I keep hearing it lately. I'm a virgin. I don't know. Oh. Yeah. I don't know. Then say they thou, thus saith the lord god, the city sheddeth blood in its midst of it, that her time may come and maketh idols against herself to defile herself. So our sin when we sin, we sin against god, but we sin against ourselves. There's consequences of sin where, you know, God doesn't mock whatsoever man sows that you'll also reap. So we're hurting ourselves, and they're into idolatry. They're bringing this idolatry forth, and it's it it has a it has an appeal to the flesh from a sensual standpoint, so there's a lot of fertility aspects of it from a sexual activity. And and like we said, that an that impure engagement brings forth unwanted pregnancies, and you're shedding the blood. You're gonna sacrifice these babies unto demons. Paul said that which to the Gentiles sacrifice, you know, they actually in their worshiping of idols, they're actually worshiping demons. So demons, these fallen angels, are behind the deception and the the images that are made. And so there's no love. There's absolutely no love if you're living in a city like that. Murder city, you know? In Matthew chapter 22 verses 34 through 40, a the Pharisees were talking to Jesus and a lawyer came to him and said, you know, master, what's the greatest commandment? What's the greatest of all the commandments? You know? There's 613 precepts in the old testament law. And he says, what's the greatest one? Do you remember what Jesus said? Love. He Jesus gave him two. The apostle Paul narrowed it down to just one. And what did Jesus say? Love the lord thy god with all your heart, all your mind, all your soul, all your strength. So if you're loving the lord that way, you're not gonna be an idolater. You're going to love him supremely. And then love your neighbor as yourself. Jesus said, these two hang all the law and the prophets, all the law summed up in love. That's what Paul said. Love is the fulfillment of the law. So if you're loving God and you're loving your neighbor, you're not going to be committing adultery against the Lord. So idolatry is adultery against God. You're being unfaithful to God, and he's he's the only true God. And so they're they're dishonoring him by giving into this this these idolatrous practices. So against thyself, thou art become guilty in thy blood that thou hast shed and has defiled thyself and thine idols which thou hast made. And thou hast caused thy days to draw near and art come even under thy years. Therefore have I made thee a reproach unto the nations and a mocking to all countries. So people are laughing at you. They're mocking you. You were were supposed to be a light unto the nations, a light that others would be drawn to. You and I are to provoke jealousy in people that they see the relationship we have with Jesus, it would provoke them to jealousy that, hey, what is it about you? You know, I want what you have. How come how come you're not like, the rest of us? And so, light should be able to shine out from the darkness. So I I never really care about how dark Bremerton is or Kitsap County is. My only concern is, are we being light? Because if we're being light, then the darkness flees. When Rob comes over there and flips that switch on, these lights come on, the darkness leaves. So all we Christians need to concern ourselves with is being light. And you don't take your light and hide it under a bushel to compromise to get the darkness to like you. You shine it bright, and you'll find out who your friends are. You'll find out if they're cockroaches, they flee. Right? They just oh, I gotta go here. I gotta go here. Right? They're not real friends, are they? And but if they you know, if they're believers, then they're gonna love the fellowship with you because Jesus is the center of the conversation, The reason you're meeting, the reason you're getting together is there's a desire collectively to glorify the Lord rather than put the light under a bushel. And so the they're you're being exposed, for who you are. Daniel nine, eight says, god gave them a face of confusion. You seem so confused like a deer in a headlight. And that's the times that we're living in. We're living in a time of great, great confusion. Biden was able to pardon his son. Right? How does that work? Criminals. Criminal activity. And before you leave office, you're gonna you're gonna pardon the criminals. And and you and I, we're thankful that the Lord Jesus pardoned us in our criminality, the things that we've done, the blood that we've shed, abortions as a result of our disobedience to God. And he takes our sins and he cast them from the east to west. He remembers them no more. And so we're we're thankful for his pardon. It cost him everything, cost him his blood to redeem us and to pay for our sins, but there's now therefore no condemnation. If you've got your girlfriend pregnant and convinced her to go have an abortion, you're just as guilty as she is of murder, right, and of adultery. But if you come to Christ and you confess that sin, he's faithful and just to forgive you of that sin, to cleanse you of all unrighteousness, you're no more evil than somebody that steals or lies or you know? Some sins are worse than others, especially those that knowledge bring in responsibility. You know better, but you do it anyway. You transgress. You can reach a place of rebellion where it's even worse, and and the consequences are are greater. So those who are near and those who are far from thee shall mock thee, who are infamous and much vexed. Behold, the princes of Israel, everyone was in thee to their power to shed blood. So they're being corrupted. The power that they want, the money that they have, leads to corruption. And the religious leaders, Jesus was being railroaded, Pilate said, you know, why? What evil has he done? I find no fault in this man. You know? And he knew for envy that he was delivered. And religious leaders began to get the people to say, you know, release Barabbas. Release Barabbas, you know, not Jesus. And why? What evil has he's done? You know? Let his blood be upon us and upon our children. You know, they were they were shouting Matthew 27. And little did they know what they were saying. And thee has so they're basically saying, we're responsible. We're responsible. Let his blood be upon us. We'll take the responsibility. And later Peter's able to confront him, you know, and Stephen and others, and they're able to say, you know, you, by your wicked hands that's confrontation. You, by your wicked hands, crucified the just one. You know? So in there, have they set light by by father and mother in the midst of thee? Have they dealt by oppression with the sojourner? And they have they vexed the fatherless and the widow. And so there's, again, there's no love. There's no care for the poor. Instead of caring for the poor, Proverbs twenty two twenty two talks about how the rich will oppress the poor and use the poor. Exploitation. Thou hast despised mine holy things and profaned my sabbaths. And so you've taken that, you know, which was once holy, once revered, once honored, and you've made it common. You profane the Sabbaths and you're not setting the Sabbath aside as a time for you and I. You had to work six days, and for the Jews, was a sign that God gave them the sign of the Sabbath, the Sabbath rest, and, on the seventh day. And, the children of Israel wound up going into captivity for seventy years because, they were to let allow the ground to be rested every seventh year. So seven times 70 is four hundred ninety years. They didn't do that. So that's what he they just failed to walk in fellowship with the lord based upon his word that they'd been given. The other nations weren't given God's word, but they were they were special in that God gave gave them his word, his instructions. Jeff Meursman would call the bible basic instructions before leaving earth. Right? And and that's true. The lord has shown thee, o man, what the lord does require of thee, to do justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with thy god. And so he hasn't left us without an understanding or instructions in in how we're to live. And basically we're to live according to love. Love is the fulfillment. Without love we're nothing. We as Christians, we could have a lot of head knowledge, but without love we're nothing. It means nothing. And so in thee are the men that carry tales, and this word tales speaks of slander. Revelation 20 or excuse me, twelve twelve nine and ten nine through 18 speaks of the devil being a slander, devil being the accuser of the brethren. And so in the Greek, the text is diablo. So it's the devil when people slander. When they slander your character and say things against you falsely for the lord's for the lord's name's sake, you know, happy are you. They did the same thing to Jesus. So a lot of us people are gonna tell lies about us. They're gonna gossip about us. They're gonna slander about us. They're gonna try and destroy our character and get other people to go along that way. So in thee are men that carry tails to shed blood. So you you you could be like you could be like Jezebel, who when she saw Ahab Ahab wanting his neighbor's vineyard, Naboth's vineyard, she sent some baser guys like they tried to do with Jesus. So they'll send false witnesses. The false witnesses will say, hey, I saw Naboth blasphemed the Lord. They're slandering Naboth. And with two witnesses, now they're able to take it to the court, and the two witnesses swearing that Naboth blasphemed the name of the lord. Now the punishment is take him out and stone him. And that's what the Sidonian princess, Jezebel, did for her husband, Ahab. She aced out Naboth to get his vineyard. So the vineyard was stolen with blood, and that's what these people are doing. They're framing people. Subad. And in the midst they eat upon the mountains in the midst of the they commit lewdness. And so this lewdness, the lustfulness, the idolatry is pornography. And our culture is just immersed, obsessed, polluted, maybe like a sewer with pornography. When I was younger, I've said this many times, the television that came into people's homes before that, you know, people would need magazines. Before magazines, they used carved these guys carved images. So they'd have a carved image of a of a male, a carved image of a female's, and then those carved images would stimulate people, the image thereof. And so they'd lust, be stimulated in that way, and and then begin to engage to act out those things. And when the television came into the home, there was a part branch of government that would be a censorship branch of government. Any Hollywood or any kind of programming would have to first go through a scrutiny of censorship. And if it didn't pass, it couldn't play. And so they had even what they'd call family hour in the evening after dinner, family kind of shows. And early on, I've said this before, but you'd see Ricky and Lucy in pajamas all the way up to their neck and and then separate beds. They have a bedroom, but they'd have separate single beds. And then a few years later, you know, you have Three's Company. Yeah. And that's at family hour. So now you're confusing people with what a family is. You've got two women and a man living together, the man's a homosexual, and they tell jokes and think it's funny. But it begins to break down. It's it's called desensitizing. First when you see it, you're shocked. And then more and more and more of that stuff begins to desensitize you. Even still today, the whole wokeism, you know, you look at Disney, and Disney can make a really wholesome movie, a nice wholesome movie, and it makes millions and millions of dollars because that's what moms and dads want, something wholesome that they could take their kids to. But it's not about making money, it's about polluting the kids' minds. It's about breaking down the home, breaking down the family. So they'll bring in Harry Potter, and they'll dress it up and make it look like, hey, this is pretty cool. But Harry Potter's witchcraft, and Harry Potter makes it into the churches. It's witchcraft in the churches, The little cards that the kids are doing. Tarot cards or what are they? Pokemon Pokemon type things. These are images of in Haitian stuff of different types of demons, I was told. So they're they're doing that. And a lot of a lot of idolatrous imagery I've been told that the movie Moana, the first one was kinda well, but then the second one's even worse. What they introduce is they introduce a lot of occultic practices that maybe the indigenous people of Hawaii used to practice with idols and such. And so that's not something that you want to introduce your kids to even though there's some good surfers out there. You know? So so anyway, our our grandkids aren't allowed to go see Moana too. But again, if if Disney or whoever is making these movies were to make them with a Christian theme, then they make enormous amounts of money, tons of money. And so it's not about making money. It's about indoctrination. It's about breaking down the mores of society that are holding the society together so the demonic influences, they wanna tear down the family. They wanna tear down what it means to be a boy or a girl, a man, a woman, a husband, a wife. And so they use media to do it. And one of the greatest ways to break down a society is the immorality of Playboy and Penthouse during the sixties, the sexual revolution, and and a different value system begin to permeate an existential humanistic philosophy of every man doing that which is right in their own eyes. So they're getting away from what the bible declares as right and wrong. Divorce rates go way up. Kids are moved about. Sex education taught in the schools. It's all idolatry. It's all about idolatry. It's turning people away away from God. And so when Kathy was homeschooling and she was a part of the homeschool group, they let her do the newsletter. And her newsletter, the front cover, it had a bible. And then on top of it was the family on top of the bible. So she took it from Matthew six actually, Matthew seven, you know, build your house upon the rock. Be a doer of God's word, not a hearer only. And so if that's the foundation of your life, Jesus said, upon this rock, I'll build my church. So build your life, upon Jesus. Allow Jesus to be the foundation of your home, the foundation of your life, and, seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, all these other things be added unto you. The heathen, you know, are all they're concerned about is what am I gonna eat? What am I gonna eat? What am I gonna drink? What am I gonna wear? But you're men and women of faith, so trust the Lord day by day, one day at a time. If he closed the fields, he's gonna clothe you. If he feeds the birds, he's gonna feed you. And and so it's it's a walk of faith day by day. He just he's not gonna give you three days of food. He might. He might be a hoarder. But he wants us to live day by day that he's gonna provide. He didn't say, hey, trust me. Go to church on this Sunday and then come back when you run out of food. You know? Come back when you run out of something. You know? No. It's it's day by day. Give us this day our daily bread when he taught the disciples how to pray. And the manna that came down from heaven, it was a day supply. So Jesus is the man that come down from heaven. He's the bread of life, and we have spiritual appetites and spiritual desires, and we should, feast upon his word and spend time in his word that our spirit is being fed. So, like, tonight you're at bible study. Well, tomorrow, doesn't matter that you went to church on Sunday, Monday. Get in the word on Tuesday. Get in the word on Wednesday. Spend time in prayer. Spend time in God's word. You'd be feeding your spirit. And all the trials and all the stuff that comes your way, rather than fear, you're gonna have faith because faith comes by hearing, hearing by the word of God. And so you're gonna be able to say, well, Lord, I I need you to I need you to put some more meal in the meal barrel. You know? This widow here that I've been staying with, her and her son, they got one more day's worth of food, one more bowl full, then they're gonna they're gonna die. And so Elijah tells him to, you know, make up that food and give the first part to the prophet or you're giving it first to the Lord, seeking first the kingdom of God, and then, the Lord continues to provide our needs. And birds go out and work hard. They're up early to go get the worm. So we're gonna work hard, but god's gonna provide the worms. And so there's the pollution, the cesspool, the sewer of immorality. And one has committed abomination with his neighbor's wife. So here's adultery there. A guy's a guy's has committed adultery with his neighbor's with his neighbor's wife. And, and another has lewdly defiled his daughter-in-law. So here we have incest. Now you've got, within your own family, you're doing things. So it's there's no rules. You do whatever you want. And another in the has humbled his sister, his father's daughter. So again, incest within the family and how how decadent that is for a family to engage in this. God didn't intend for this to happen. It's not by design. And and so it goes against and and the raping and the a lot of we meet a lot of people that have been raped and abused sexually by their dad or their uncle or their brother or and it leaves scars, lasting lasting scars. So in thee have they taken gifts to shed blood. So they're, you know, greed. They're able you're able to bribe them. You're able to pay them and they'll do they'll do things to murder, murder for hire. Thou hast taken interest and increase, and thou hast greedily gained of thy neighbors by extortion and hast forgotten me, saith the Lord God. And so they weren't supposed to be charging exorbitant interest to other Jews, but they were preying upon the poor exploiting and leveraging. And rather than doing it God's way, they were doing it their own way. And so the injustice that many people were under. He says, verse 13, behold, therefore, I have smitten mine hand at thy dishonesty and gain which thou hast made and at thy blood which has been in the midst of thee. So, smit my hands together. I'm gonna deal with you guys. And can thine heart endure or can thine hands be strong in the days that I shall deal with thee? I, the Lord, have spoken it and will do it. So the Lord's saying, I'm bringing I'm bringing derision. I'm bringing I'm bringing judgment. I'm bringing chastening against you, and you're gonna be fear and trembling. Are you gonna be able to handle you're gonna be able to handle it emotionally, spiritually, physically? Jesus said men's heart would be failing them seeing the things that are coming upon the earth during the tribulation period. So great, great anxiety of heart, people unable to cope with the demonic activity during the tribulation period. And Jesus said it would be a time that the world's never seen nor will see again. It's gonna be so severe. People wanting to kill themselves in Revelation nine and unable to, get their soul to leave their bodies and demons stinging them and tormenting them and such and meteorites and all sorts of things from from the sky coming and hitting the planet and earthquakes and volcanoes and cataclysmic, you know, natural events and stuff. And then a demon's being unleashed against the planet. And people are thinking they're UFOs or aliens or whatever. And and it says men's hearts failing them for fear. Overwhelmed with fear. Have you ever been overwhelmed with fear? Anybody? You just freeze. You just freeze? Yeah. We just we just pray. When fear tries to grip our heart and grab hold, we pray. We give it up to the Lord, all our cares upon him for he cares for us. And we when we transfer and we take that burden that the devil wants us to carry, and Jesus said, come unto me all you that labor and every laden, I'll give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn of me. From meek and lowly in heart, you shall find rest under your souls. For my yoke is easy, my burden is light. He doesn't want you carrying that burden. He remembers your frame. He remembers he made you out of the dust of the ground. He doesn't expect you to be able to go toe to toe with demons. Right? You always wanna keep Jesus between you and the devil. And you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you. And he's your strength, and he'll fight for us if we trust him and honor him. And if we if we walk by faith, if we're willing to die for him, I'd rather die than deny you, Lord. He's gonna fight for you. Mhmm. Now now you put it in his court rather than you trying to compromise with evil and leaning on your own understanding, your own reasoning abilities, and doing this lesser two evil things is not working. It's not working at all. And the it's interesting to me that I heard all the pastors harping about voting. I don't hear any of them talking about vetting. You know what vetting is? Vetting the appointments. So we're to prove all things hold fast that which is good. We're to test the spirits. So here you have this president, and he's he's appointing his cabinet now. One of the first ones he appointed was secretary of the treasury, who's a George Soros hedge fund manager for ten years. He's a homosexual. He's got a boyfriend or girlfriend, husband, wife, whatever you wanna call it, and they purchased a baby. And that's your department of the secretary. So is there anything that the Biden administration did that was any worse than that? No. But this is your guy and not a peep. That's the part that bothers me. No confrontation. Nobody willing to confront a president who claims to be a Christian, and he's the evangelical's champion. And then go look at the other ones. Doctor Oz and these other ones are all vaxxers. They're they're all they're all people in favor of the vaccines and not a peep. And during during the candidacy, not a peep from the pastors in regard to mister Warp Speed Jab. Not a peep. Nothing. So when I kept hearing this vote, vote, vote, vote, vote, it's making me insane because because nobody's standing for righteousness. It's easy to demonize Kamala Harris and Biden and and Obama. That's easy. But are you thinking? What what if the devil came as an angel of light or a minister of righteousness? Can you think that far? So I don't even need to I don't even need to talk about it. All all you do is you'll know them by their fruit. Who's he appointing? If he appoints a homosexual connected with Soros, then I know I've been lied to because he said he was running on an anti woke platform and an anti globalist platform. Can you get any more globalist than George Soros? Good. Just I mean, I I just I'm so tired of the idiocy in Christianity. It's just like it's just so imbecilic. The way that we lean on our own understanding and we don't heed or follow the word of God to decide what's good, what's evil, what's right, what's wrong, it always comes down to faith. You may feel like your back's to the wall. What else are we gonna do, pastor? You trust Jesus. You do the right thing and you trust Jesus. Well, what's the right thing? Well, you're gonna have to pray and decide that. Does it conflict with god's word? If it conflicts with God's word, then call him out. Expose it. And that's what the devil hates the most, is you exposing. You confronting evil with the truth. That's what they hate the most is when you shine light on what they're doing. But if the church is silent, if the church won't say anything, won't do anything, then year after year, it's just gonna get more and more contaminated and polluted, and the slippery slope continues to go down. And it's a it's a humanism is what it is. So the Lord's gonna deal with him. It's gonna get worse. There's gonna be fear and trembling. And then you're gonna be the wandering Jew. You ever heard the term the wandering Jew? They're dispersed. The all over the world. The lord's gonna kick them out of Israel and send them all over the world. And I will scatter thee among the nations and disperse thee in the countries and will consume thy filthiness out of thee. And so when the lord, brought some of them, you know, to Babylon, Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach, Abednego, and then after seventy years, Cyrus allowed the Jews to go back to Israel. And Nehemiah is building a wall, and Ezra the priests want to get Zerubbabel's temple rebuilt and trying to get the religious life of the people going again, Judaism. And, but a lot of them didn't wanna go back. It was a lot of hard, hard work to be farmers and try and rebuild a city, rebuild a country after it's been devastated by the Babylonians and all their, you know, all their enemies. So many of them began to enjoy commerce. And the center of commerce was Babylon and doing business deals with those in Egypt and all. And so many of many of the the Jews began to enjoy going and doing business in other countries. And today, you have Iranians that are Jews, Ethiopians that are Jews, Germans that are Jews. You got Jews in every country, you know, and because they've been dispersed for over two thousand years. So they're dispersed, and then they went back. And then in seventy AD, when Titus surrounded Jerusalem and destroyed the second temple period, era. Then again, the Jews were dispersed again all over the globe. It's been two thousand years, 05/14/1948. They're reborn as a nation, and now one of the rabbis is calling them all back again. And I was listening today to a bible study and the guy was saying that the Jews that he meets in Israel as he goes there and they look at excavations and archaeology and different finds, things that are going on right now, they're atheistic. So they may be back in the land, they still don't believe in Jesus. They don't even believe in God. So that's a pretty hard heart that God's gonna have to get through. In this chapter as we continue, the Lord's gonna show you part of the way that he's gonna get through to that one third remnant. He's gonna put him through the fire, the fire of the tribulation period, to burn off all the dross, all of the impurities that they brought in, the filth. And as he burns that off, they're gonna finally have some ears to hear, what the spirit's saying. And so can thy heart endure? No. It can't endure. I'm gonna have a broken heart. I'm gonna have a a ruptured heart from fear. Men's hearts failing them. Heart attacks. Verse 16, and thou shalt take thine inheritance in thyself in the sight of the nations and thou shalt know that I am the Lord. And so, you're gonna be defiled among the nations. There's gonna be serious, serious, very serious consequences, for your actions. God's been long suffering. He's given them space to repent. He's given them plenty of time to consider their ways. But they've reached a place where they're not just sinning, but where they're rebellious. Hard hearted rebellion against God. They've become very, very good liars. Have you seen that kind of people where they're really good liars? Do you know any alcoholics or drug addicts? Any criminals or criminal activity? Prodigal kids? Adults? One of the common denominators is they're very good at lying. They can really spin it. And they blame everybody else. They spin it a different way. They don't take responsibility for their own actions. And, pretty soon, they're playing the blame game, blaming parents and society and everybody else and never looking in the mirror and dealing with the man you know, in the mirror. And I have a question. Okay. So I don't understand Jewish religion or Jewish Judaism? Judaism. So do they like, the bible in the beginning, they believe the Old Testament? They're following the Old Testament, the first covenant, the old covenant. They don't think that Jesus came? They don't believe in him. They they rejected him as messiah. So if you read in John one even now, they don't believe it. Let's say turn to John one. The gospel of John one. I want you to read. Start reading from the first verse. In the beginning was the word and the word was with God. And the word is Jesus. The Yep. Was Same was in the beginning with God. Yeah. K. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him, and without him was not anything made that was made. So he's the creator. Keep going. In him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness, and the darkness comprehended it not. There was a man sent from God whose name was John. The same came for a witness to bear witness of the light that all men through him might believe. So John the Baptist has sent his cousin to preach and let everybody know the Messiah is coming to believe in him. The light is shining, but they didn't they like darkness instead. So keep going. Remember John? John started it out. John the Baptist. Repent for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. So it's an address not to the Gentiles, but to the Jews, to the nation. So keep going. He was he was not that light, but was sent to bear witness of that light. So John wasn't that light, but to bear witness of Jesus. That was the true light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world. He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. So he's in the world as Jesus of Nazareth. Right? The world was made by him. In the broad sense, the world didn't know who he is. So then keep going. Okay. He came onto his own. The Jews. The Jews. He came onto his own, and his own received him not. So there's the answer to your question there. That's when they wanna, like, push him over there. They they didn't believe that Jesus was the messiah. That's right. The nation as a whole. But keep reading. Okay. He came onto his own, and his own received him not. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God. So it's Jew and Samaritans and Gentiles. Now it goes out to whosoever will. Even them that they believe on his name, which were born not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God. And the word was made flesh and dwelt among us. That's the babe of Bethlehem. That's why we celebrate Christmas. Oh, that's why. I thought it was a different time of the year. We we held this glory. I've worked at FedEx for twenty eight years. That's what thought. Your answer yet? Christmas. Did you get your answer yet? Yeah. So they they just never accepted that he came there. So If you if you led them to Psalm 22 or Isaiah 53 and you showed them seven hundred years before he came, a description of him being rejected and crucified and all that. If you took him to Isaiah seven fourteen, the virgin shall conceive and bring forth a son that calls his name Emmanuel, they won't believe it. They won't believe Isaiah nine six. They won't believe Genesis 49. Testament, they don't believe. They they just have such a hard unbelief. No matter how much prophecy you use, their heart is blinded. They're blinded. So we're Now some do believe. There's always a percentage that do. But the nation as a whole is regathered, 05/14/1948, presently regathered in unbelief. But God's going to save them. There's gonna be a new covenant, Jeremiah 31, an unconditional covenant where God's gonna change their hearts. Are they just thinking that he's gonna come again? No. What were they what were they looking for? They were looking for a conquering king. Were thinking in the flesh. They were thinking that Jesus would overthrow the Romans and that they would be the most prolific, powerful nation on the planet. Yeah. So they saw the millennium, the promises of the millennium, and they applied them themselves presently is what they were after. But it's kind of like when Constantine nationalized the church. You had secular unbelieving people acting religious, and they didn't understand anything of the spirit. Nothing of the spirit. Alright. So let's keep going. So there's your assignment. Continue to read Me? In John. No. I mean, later. Alright. So verse 17. And the word of the Lord came unto me saying, son of man, the house of Israel is to me become dross. All they are bronze and tin and iron and lead, in the midst of the furnace. They are even the dross of the silver. And so we talked about this before. What is the dross, you silversmiths? The sludge on top. The the impurities that rise to the top. And how do you get the impurities to rise to the top? Gotta heat it way up. Right? It's a scum. You're the scum on the top. Right? Then you you you scrape it off the top. Right? And so the bronze and tin and iron and lead in the midst of the furnace and they are even the dross of the silver. So how much is the dross worth? Worthless. You're worthless now. You become like the dross. Therefore, thus saith the Lord God, because ye are all become dross, behold, therefore, I will gather you into the midst of Jerusalem. As they gather silver and bronze and iron and lead and tin in the midst of the furnace to blow the fire upon it, to melt it, so will I gather you in mine anger and in my fury and I'll leave you there and melt you. That don't sound too good. Doesn't sound too good. Yeah. I will gather you and blow upon you in the fire of my wrath and ye shall be melted in the midst of it. As silver is melted in the midst of the furnace, so shall ye be melted in the midst of it. And ye shall know that I, the Lord, have poured out my fury upon you. So part of what's happening here is you get the the fire going, the furnace going, and you have these things that go like this to put air in there or you blow on it. So you're bringing more oxygen in there trying to raise it and actuate the temperature to adjust the temperature. And and so you're getting it really, really hot, and you pull the dross off. And the silversmith, the goldsmith, they know that it's pure when they can see their face and the reflection and all. But the Bible also uses this as for all of us as Christians, as what's called a fiery trial. So count it all joy. Right? So we wanna look at some verses that describe you and I going through a fiery trial. You're going through the furnace, the furnace of affliction. Okay? Now we're also gonna look at the nation of Israel going through the tribulation period, which is the furnace of affliction. It's a time where the Lord is gonna put them through a greater, more time of affliction the world's ever seen to purify a one third remnant. There's a one third remnant that's gonna be purified during that seven year period of time. Two thirds of them are gonna die according to Zechariah 12 verse nine. Right? Eight and nine. So James says, count it all joy. Who wants James one two through five? Me. Okay. Who wants first Peter one three through nine? Alright, Lee. And then first Peter four twelve through 19. Jocelyn? First Peter four twelve through 19. What was it? I think first Peter three First Peter through nine. First Peter one verse three chapter one verse three through verse nine. And then who wants Malachi three twenty three? Might be three three. Three three. Three three. Or three twenty three. Three two and three. How about that? Malachi three. Two and three. Isaiah forty eight ten. Alright. I got lost with the James. James one three. James one chapter one Yes. Verses two through five. Okay. Got it. Do you want me to send it to you in a box? No. Okay. Alright. Shake the globe. Who wants Acts chapter five verse 40 through forty two? Five forty through 42. Alright? And Christian gets Job twenty three ten. You can call a job if you want because you need a job, man. I have a job. Oh, okay. I got it. I just got one actually recently. Oh, cool, dude. Good. Good. We're proud of you, bro. Proud of you. Just make sure you start tithing. Alright? Alright. Zechariah 1389. I'll do that one. You got that one? Zach 1389. Yeah. So we doing good? Mhmm. And how many of you guys count it all joy when you find yourself in a trial, a fiery trial? Count it all joy. Yeah. Right. Okay. We've got James one Me. Two through five. My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into diverse temptations, knowing this that they trying that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have for perfect work that ye may be perfect and entire wanting nothing. If anything you lack wisdom if any of you lack wisdom, let him ask God that giveth to all men liberally and upbraided not, and it shall be given him. Good. So ask him, and he'll give it to you. So count it all joy. Yeah. You ask him for wisdom. You're learning patience, which in, like, in Romans five is character. Your the dross is being burned off. Your inner man's being changed. God using the fiery trial to alleviate our selfishness and get us to trust in him more. And our faith is being increased as we're learning to trust him rather than in ourselves. First Peter one three through nine. Blessed be the God and father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled, and that fadeth not away reserved in heaven for you. That's really good, but that wasn't the verse I was looking for. But that's really good. And who are who are who are kept by the power of god through faith unto salvation, ready to be revealed in the last time, wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a re for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations. There it is. There it is. You made it. Go ahead. That the trial of your faith being much more precious than a gold that perished through it would be tried with fire might be found unto praise and honor and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ. Whom having not seen, ye love, and whom though now we see him not. Yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory, receiving the end of your faith even the salvation of your souls. So it's working for us, right, not against us. We're gonna bring glory and honor into the Lord, and our faith is increasing. And, the old man, the old dross, all that stuff's being burned off, the impurities. And so we have a great salvation that we're rejoicing in. What else do you see there, Lee? I don't know. Right? Okay. About your trials? The trial. He was called to Okay. In April '19. First Peter 04/12 through '19. Behold, do not think it strange concerning the fiery trial, which is to you, as though some strange thing happened to you, but rejoice to the expert that you partake of Christ's suffering, That when the glory is revealed, you may also be glad with exceeding joy. If you are for the name of Christ. Blessed are you for the spirit of the glory and God rest upon you. On their part, he is blessed. Evil spoken of? Yeah. But on your part, he is glorified. But let none of you suffer as a murderer, a thief, or evildoer, or as a busybody in other people's matters. Yet if anyone suffers as a Christian, let him not be ashamed, but let him glorify God in this matter. For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of the God. And if it begins with us first, what will be the end of those who do not obey the gospel of God? Now if the righteous one is sincerely saved, where will the ungodly and sinner appear? Therefore, let those who suffer according to the will of god commit their souls to him in doing good as a faithful creator. Amen. Thank you very much. Acts five forty through 42. Acts five forty forty two. They went away from their rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer for his name's sake. So they got beaten in acts chapter five for speaking in Jesus' name. They were beaten and told speak don't speak in his name anymore. And then the early church went away, the apostles and all went away from their rejoicing that they were accounted worthy to suffer for him. So when James says count it all joy, you could look at the at the trial, the fiery trial as a privilege. It's a privilege that God's allowing you to suffer for him or with him. And so there's a time where God's doing the work, you know, within us, and then there's a time where the Lord's the external part is the Lord's glorified. People are reminded of the cross. Alright. And Malachi three two and three. Rob has that. Malachi, but who may be able on that day of excuse me. But who may abide on that day of his coming? And he shall stand when he approaches. For he is like a refiner's fire and like a fuller's soap. And he shall sit as refiner and purifier of silver, and he shall purify the sons of Levi and purge them as gold and silver that they may offer unto the Lord an offering in righteousness. Alright. In Isaiah forty eight ten. The furnace of affliction. Oh. In Job twenty three ten. Alright. Twenty three ten. But he knows the way that I take. When he has tested me, I shall become forth as gold. So Job's able to trust the Lord as he's in these fiery trials that the end result will be his refinement. He'll come forth as gold, which glorifies the Lord. Alrighty. So Zechariah. Zechariah thirteen eight nine? Yeah. K. And it shall come to pass that in all of the land, saith the Lord, two hearts therein shall be cut off and die, but the third shall be left therein. And I will bring the third part through the fire and will refine them as silver is refined, and I will try them as gold is tried. They shall call on my name, and I will hear them. I will say, it is my people, and they shall say, the Lord is my God. Amen. Alright. So that's the children of Israel during the tribulation period. What is he what is he doing? Is he killing off two of the two The antichrist is the antichrist, the devil's gonna try and destroy Israel. Revelation 12, the woman. They flee. The nation of Israel flees. And a one third remnant's preserved in Southern Georgia in a place called Petra. Now there's 12,000 from each tribe, a 144,000 Jews who are marked out and untouchable, but they're they're evangelists. They're sharing the everlasting gospel. An angel overhead sharing the gospel, but the nation of Israel has a really hard time believing. And finally, when the antichrist is chasing them out of the country into Southern Jordan, their backs to the wall, and then they have the faith. The Lord gives them the faith to realize that they crucified their messiah. Oh, so they do actually Then they come to faith. They recognize, yep, we crucified them. So the Jews now No. Don't think that. They still don't No. They don't believe that Jesus is the Messiah at all. Alright. As they gather silver and bronze and iron and lead and tin in the midst of the furnace to blow fire upon it to melt it, so will I gather you in mine anger and in my fury, and I will leave you there and melt you. Yeah. I will gather you and blow upon you in the fire of my wrath, and ye shall be melted in the midst of it. As silver is melted in the midst of the furnace, so shall ye be melted in the midst of it. And ye shall know that I, the Lord, have poured out my fury upon you. And, you and I don't need to worry about that because we've been redeemed by the blood of Jesus. And God poured out his wrath, his fury upon his son upon the cross of Calvary to punish sin, being holy and just. He's gonna punish our sins, but he punished our sins in the person of his son as a propitiation, a substitute, and, and then we receive salvation as a free gift, by grace through faith alone in Jesus Christ. Verse 23, and the word of the Lord came unto me saying, son of man, say unto her, thou art the land that is not cleansed nor rained upon in the day of indignation. You're filthy. There is a conspiracy of her prophets. So you can see the prophets and the princes, the religious and the governmental people are filthy. They're corrupted. There's a conspiracy of her prophets in the midst of her. So, they like to say conspiracy theorists, you know. Well, these guys are the conspiring. They conspired against Jesus also. Like a roaring lion ravening prey, they have devoured souls and have taken the treasure and precious things. They have made her many widows in the midst of her. So the prophets have have fleeced the flock and exploited the people. And then now you have the priests. And her priests have violated my law and have profaned mine holy things. So they'd they'd offer animals they weren't supposed to offer. They'd bring in things and do things that wasn't in the law that defiled, you know, the temple and the place where they would they would offer the sacrifices. So priests have violated my law and have profaned mine holy things. They have put no difference between the holy and the profane, neither have they, shown difference between the unclean and the clean, and have hidden their eyes from my Sabbath, and I am profaned among them. So if we were to look at it today, the nation of Israel presently, there are religious people that are trying to put together the temple to get permission to rebuild the temple. And part of the rebuilding of the temple is they need the ashes of the red heifer to start the process of cleansing. So profane and unprofane, clean or unclean, they would need a red heifer that doesn't have any white or any color, other color, or blights, or blemishes. So let's say they have six of them. Two of them are already disqualified. They got four of them, and they watch them every day. They keep watching them, watching them, watching them, watching them. So far, you know, there's no no other color than the red that they need. And so they're hoping and praying by the time they they slaughter that, you know, the red heifer, and they take those ashes. Now those ashes can last hundreds and hundreds of years because it doesn't take very much of the ashes to restart the cleansing process. So, anyway, that's that's give you an idea. If they didn't care, if they didn't have any regard for, oh, heck, we could use a goat. It doesn't matter. You know? But the law prescribes the ashes of a red heifer. I think got one, did they? Yeah. They have one, but they They got They they have, like I said, like, four of them that are left. They got it from Texas. Mhmm. But I'm I'm trying to say that in times past, they've tried to do this, and they weren't clean. Yeah. So in these guys' case, they don't care. Hey. It's a business. Doesn't matter. And her princes, so you've got corrupt prophets. You've got corrupt priests. Now you've got corrupt princes, the government. Her princes in the midst of her are like wolves, ravening the prey to shed blood and to destroy souls to get dishonest gains. So they're devouring people. They're devouring devils. They want the money. They want the power. And they'll exploit people and, take everything from them like the Klaus Schwab. You'll own nothing and you'll be happy. You know? And the prophets have daubed them with untempered mortars. So the the prophets, Jesus said to the pharisees, you're like whitewashed sepulchers, but inwardly you're full of dead men's bones. So they take the daubing, they take the white, and they put the, you know, the the white, paint like, to cover up, you know, the ugliness, but, there's no stability to it. It's just it's it's not going to take away the wickedness. And her prophets have daubed them with untempered mortar, seen vanity and divining lies, so they're in the occult, unto them saying, thus saith the lord god. So you two prophets, everybody's everybody's a religious expert today. Everybody's got an opinion and a vision, a dream, and, you know, this whole YouTube, this whole media thing is unbelievable. And the people love it so. That's that's what happens when people get away from the word of God. That's what the word apostasy means. It means a departure from the truth, departure from God's word. So what I learned from pastor Chuck, when all these different, you know, new fads would come along, he would just be steady Freddie. He'd just stay right down the middle. He wouldn't be sucked into some new thing that might be flashy for everybody to get into. He would just keep teaching the word. Just stay right down the middle. Just keep teaching the word. And we'd out weather it. We'd out we'd outlive all those fads that came in. And they come and they go. They come and they go. They come and they go. People get bored with Jesus. They get bored with the manna. They get bored with the word of God. And so they're because they reject sound doctrine, they're given over to the doctrines of demons. And and basically the doctrines of demons appeals to man's flesh. It appeals to the his selfishness, and it's about me. When we go through the word, it's about Jesus. The whole word from Genesis to Revelation is about Jesus and his love for us. 66 books, 40 different authors, and it's got one central theme, God's love for you through his son. And so it's a love letter. It's a love letter to humanity. And her prophets have daubed, them with untempered mourners, seeing vanity and divining lies unto them, saying, thus saith the Lord God, when the Lord has not spoken. Boy, I'd hate to stand before God and answer like those guys are gonna answer. Speaking in the first person, thus saith the Lord. And and, you know, you can manipulate people, pastors in positions, so they can use their position to really, really manipulate a lot of people and lead people astray. And that's why we're told to not be many teachers because we're gonna receive the severe judgment. And Peter warned that they would make merchandise. One of the best ways to know if a person's a false prophet is his covetousness, if they're covetous. And in that covetousness, they're never satisfied, and they're always, always bringing everything back to money. It's always they make merchandise of the people. You're a commodity to be sold. And that's the and what's so strange about it is I Alan told me that Daystar is in a huge sexual scandal right now. All the leadership and the family and everyone that's involved in this Christian television station called Daystar. And it's a billion dollar enterprise. In the family, everybody's fighting over assets. And they've got a huge sexual scandal of incest and all of the sorts of stuff going on. And it's just bizarre to me that the false prophets have so much money. They have they fly in jets, and the jets aren't big enough. They need a bigger jet. You know? But by and large, people that tell the truth are ostracized. Being a truther is the hardest job there is. The devil hates the truth. And all you have to do to be liked is what? Compromise. Water it down. Make it a little bit easier to swallow. Give them dessert. Give them honey. Give them Kool Aid. Give them pie. You know, give them sweets and all that kind of stuff. And but people won't grow. It's not nutritious. Not gonna help them. So you have to you have to bring the balance of the word of God. So what I was getting at is pastor Chuck, what he emphasized to us is have a systematic theology. A systematic theology or a working knowledge of the scriptures from Genesis to Revelation, a working knowledge of the Bible, and you won't be susceptible to the false prophets because you'll be able to identify their falsehood. And so that's the job of the teacher, is to equip the saints for the work of the ministry. Alright. And then we all get to do the ministry. The people so you have the prophets, the priests, the princes, and now the people. That could be a good sermon there. The people of the land have used oppression and exercised robbery and have vexed the poor and needs. Yea. They have oppressed the sojourner wrongfully. So tremendous, tremendous corruption from the top on down all the way down. Just so corrupt. Adolf Hitler said that the church in Germany at the time that he was ruling, a lot of the churches are paid by the government. And in Australia and a lot of other countries right now, churches, Ireland, the churches are paid by the government. And if you're receiving money from the government now think of this for a minute. Think for just think for a minute. The Salvation Army, William Booth, when he's standing outside of bars and his Salvation Army is out there playing the drum and taking little ditties, little songs and twist them a little bit, changing them a little bit, and then sharing the gospel with people. Then they got a tinker can out there, a little little thing that people coming in and out of Safeway, and the Salvation Army guys there, and you put a 0.25 in there, put some money in there. It wasn't government funded. It was all by donation. It was all volunteers. Right? And alcoholics, poor people, drug addicts, people come for food, clothing, shelter, warmth, you know. But now you know what the tragedy is? All those organizations like that, they got Catholic services and all these different organizations, they can't share the gospel because they're receiving government money. That's what was happening in recent years. Now I'm not sure if coach Joe, what he did, changed that to where Salvation Army, if they're receiving money, and then before the guys are gonna eat, somebody's gonna get up there and share the gospel, they stop that. You won't receive money from the government if you if you don't if you keep trying to use conversion therapy on them. You know? And that defeats the whole purpose of why we're doing what we're doing. You know? We're trying to save souls. We're trying to get people to Christ. And along the way, yes, we feed them, we clothe them, we love them, but we keep the priority the priority. The number one thing is to save their soul. Even like Lazarus, what good's it do to raise him from the dead if he's just gonna die another day and go to hell? You gotta save his soul. Right? So that's that's the that's the main emphasis. And we're not to just love in word, in deed and in truth. And and I've discovered that Christians are very generous people. They're not gonna let somebody that's just come to Christ sleep on the curb. You know? They're not gonna turn away people that need a meal or need something to drink and that sort of thing. Our society is very, very welfare minded. We give out EBT cards to immigrants coming from Mexico all over. Everybody's got money. The problem we have with homelessness is what? Drugs. It's drug use. The the drugs that have come in, the fentanyl, all these drugs have just so incredibly imprisoned and brought these folks into bondage. And so the bondage breaker is the gospel. They need to be saved, you know. They need to be set free from the power of the wicked one that has them in the the throes of addiction. And so so radical corruption. Now look notice what the word says. This is this is a word for you. God's speaking to you right here. And I sought for a man among them that should make up the hedge and stand in the gap before me for the land that I should not destroy it. That man, that woman's you. That's you. Second Chronicles sixteen nine, what's it say? The eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth to show himself strong on behalf of one man, one woman whose heart is perfect toward God. And the Lord says here tragically, but I found none. It just takes one man. It just takes one angel to kill a 185,000, you know, Assyrians. Just takes one. Just one intercessor. Just one. And I found none. So you know what happens when the Lord finds none? He sends his he sends his son. He sends his son. So in first Timothy two five, there's one mediator between God and man, the man Christ Jesus. He's the only perfect one. He's the bridge. He's the mediator. In Hebrews eight six and Hebrews nine fifteen, Hebrews twelve twenty four, he's the mediator. In Exodus thirty two ten through 14, the children of Israel, you could you could go there, and you can also look at Psalm hundred and six twenty three. But in the Exodus account, what had happened was, Moses went up on the mount to receive the 10 commandments, And Joshua couldn't go up there with him. He has stayed down at the base. And any animals that would get near that Mount Sinai, they'd they'd be thrust through with the dart and killed and stuff. So it's a holy mountain. And he's up there getting the 10 commandments, the tablets, the finger of God that's writing down these tablets of stone. He's up there for forty days. And if you read the story, the people become impatient. Where's Moses? He's not back yet. It's only forty days. And and so they say to Aaron, and Aaron must be having some problems within his heart about maybe being passed over. Why is Moses, you know, the big dude? And Moses and Miriam, there was a time where they told Moses, you take too much on yourself, and they tried to usurp some authority away from Moses, and the Lord humbled both of them. Aaron's a priest, a high priest. Miriam's a prophetess. But Moses had been prepared by the Lord, you know, through the desert of suffering, deserts of Midian. He's about 80 years old, and he didn't ask for this job. The burning bush appears to him, he even told God, send somebody else. Send somebody else. I don't want this job. And so anyway, he's up there to get the law, and the people started saying that we don't know what happened to Moses. Maybe he's died. Maybe he's dead. Blah blah blah blah blah. And maybe we should go back to Egypt. Maybe we, you know, we need to worship. We need to do something. So he told them this is his idea. He told them all to take their earrings off. They got gold earrings, and everybody's got gold. They they despoiled the Egyptians. So when they left Egypt, after four hundred and thirty years of working, the lord gave them reward, gave them a pension, you know, gave them compensation for the years that they worked as slaves. So they despoiled the Egyptians. They had this gold. And he said, alright. Give me the gold. Bring all the gold. And then he made a a calf, which was indicative of how they worshipped how the Egyptians worshipped. It was an idol. And he fashioned a golden calf and they began to worship the golden calf. And part of the worshipping of the golden calf was also sexual orgies. So now they're playing. Now they're messing around, making a lot of noise. And Joshua, when Moses comes out and comes down, Joshua says, oh listen, it's the sound of war. And Moses says, no, it's not the sound of war. It's the sound of idolatry, the sound of people playing, you know. And so they came back and God was angry. And Moses took the tablets and he broke them. And God said, I'm gonna destroy this people and I'm gonna make up a people from you Moses. And Moses the intercessor began to pray and intercede on behalf of the people. Moses is passing the test. Instead of him saying, yeah, I'm tired of him too. You should work for me. He's a mediator. God's looking for a man. He's looking for somebody that will intercede. He's looking for reason not to judge him. And and so Moses began to dialogue with the Lord and say, well, what are the other nations gonna say that you were powerful enough to bring them out of Egypt but not powerful enough to get them into the promised land and, you know, blah blah blah and all that? And it repented the Lord that he that he even had these guys and wanted to destroy them all. And Moses says, if you're gonna do that, then blot my name out of your book too. The apostle Paul said a similar thing in the book of Romans, that he wished that he could save Israel, that he'd even be willing to have his name blotted out if that were possible. And then God says, no, I'm not gonna blot anybody's name out of the book. They're gonna be responsible for their own sin, and the Lord began to discipline them. And think, like, 3,000 died right at first. But God was looking for someone to intercede. He's always looking for prayer warriors, people that will intercede on behalf of the community that you're living in, the place that you work. It's easy to spot, like I said, it's easy to spot the corruption of a Democrat. Easy to spot it. And we love, we love to condemn what they're doing. But for some reason we can't see the filth in our own house and in the church and in our own lives and in the Republican Party. And we're we're just we're blind to it. And that corruption so undermines and weakens us that Adolf Hitler said that he was able to use the church. He could pay the church and use the church as a means of gaining favor with the people, and that anytime he wanted, the church was nothing but a rotted wall that he could topple over anytime he pleased. But they were useful to him in their corruption because they would help facilitate the government's agenda of wiping out Jews. And so there's always a remnant. There's always people that didn't abide by Hitler and all that. I think 700 pastors that didn't. But the corruption, once the church gets that corrupt, once Constantine gets in there and the church is taken over by unbelievers, there's a huge corruption and and the Lord's looking for for people that will stand. Jesus ever lives to make intercession for us. He's interceding. And the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth to show himself strong on behalf of a man or a woman whose heart is perfect toward God. God's always looking. He's looking for people that wanna be used of him. And who am I gonna send? He says in Isaiah chapter six. Who am I gonna send? And Isaiah says, here my Lord, send me. Right? So if the Lord's tugging on your heart, everybody's moving away from Bremerton. If you gotta go, you gotta go. I'm just don't I'm just saying. Just kidding. No, I'm kidding. Some of you might want to stay and be intercessors because it's a tough place here. But some of you are gonna stay and you're gonna intercede and you're gonna pray on behalf of these people here. And because God sent you here. He sent you here to be that intercessor, to be that person that would stand in the gap and not give up. So therefore I have poured out mine indignation upon them. I have consumed them with the fire of my wrath. Their own way have I recompensed upon their heads, saith the Lord. And so it's like in Romans one, you know, your own sinfulness when you reject God and we worship and serve the creature rather than the greater, your own actions wind up coming back on you. Men with men, women with women, the reproach of living like that and the emptiness thereof becomes your own judgment. You're your own judge. And that's why you watch the the gays, the lesbians, the LBGT, all of it, all the aberrant stuff that's going against God's design. One of the things they crave is acceptance, normalization of their lifestyle. And because they're feeling judged, they're feeling ashamed by their own actions because it's abnormal. It's it goes against the design of God. And so we don't want that. Alright. So Merry Christmas. Alright. Let's pray. Father, we come before you, and thank you for tonight. Thank you that we could study your word, and we just pray that you pour out your holy spirit upon us. Give us traveling mercies home. Be with those that are on Facebook and at home and watching and just comfort them, And help us to be those intercessors, Lord, those prayer warriors that stand in the gap and intercede. And help us learn to be wise as serpent, gentle as doves, be able to confront truth that we can simply discern between that which is good and that which is evil. That we could use the scripture to sift and to test everything and to to look, Lord, through the eyes of faith. What you require, not man's standards, but your standards, what you require. So, Lord, we pray that you bring a great move of repentance, a godly sorrow that leads to repentance, not to be repented of. And in that repentance, Lord, that we'd see people revived, that we'd see a purity, we'd see a cleansing and an empowerment, that you'd empower us to live the life of a Christian in the power of the spirit instead of so weak, so anemic, so the salt being no good but be trodden under the foot of men, Lord. We don't wanna be like that. We don't wanna be so compromising. We have no influence in these last days. So Lord, help us to be the truthers. Help us to speak the truth in love in the power of the holy spirit. And Lord, you do the work. You do the work. You do the the taking down of the wicked one and taking down the wicked, taking down the lies, and exposing the truth, Lord. We pray for our country, Lord. We pray for president Trump. We pray that he would appoint, people that represent, his constituents, those that voted for him, who he said he was going to be, who he said he is. And, and, Lord, we pray he not compromise even one appointment. No excuses. That he would appoint people that that represent a nation that's supposed to be a Christian nation. And, Lord, I pray that that, the overwhelming amount of evangelicals and people that voted, that, president Trump, he definitely understands, and, I pray that he would follow through. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
