Live from Bremerton. It's Monday night. We're in Ezekiel chapter four tonight. Glad you could join us. And so let's pray, and we'll commit this time under the Lord. Rob's gonna lead us in some time of worship. Father, we thank you for this place that we could meet. Rob is home here on the deck and a beautiful day out. And we thank you, Lord, for those that can join us on Facebook. And we commit this night into your hands, and we pray that you would bless, you part your Holy Spirit upon us, that you'd be our teacher, you'd open the scriptures to our understanding, to edify, to build us up, strengthen us. We pray that you would heal Brian Olson, you'd heal Gary Decourt, we pray that you heal Mike Goodson, and anybody else, Lord, that's sick and needs your healing touch upon their bodies, Lord. We pray for your blessing tonight. In Jesus' name, amen. Amen. Amen. Is that nice and loud? Amen. Change the music. Praise the lord. Here you go. Let there be light. Yeah. There's light on him. Alright. There is light on him. Ezekiel chapter four. Father, thank you. Now we ask, Lord, as we study Ezekiel four, that you would pour out your holy spirit upon us, Lord. Help us to rightly divide the word of truth and to learn that what you're wanting us to learn. And, Lord, we just pray, for your blessing that you bless us, Lord. In Jesus' name, amen. Amen. Alright. Chapter four and five. God's gonna have Ezekiel use an object lesson, kinda like theater. How many of you are dramatic? Are you guys dramatic? Am. Practice drama? How how many different ways are there to communicate with people? How many of you like a movie or a play? Or Sunday school teachers a lot of times have object lessons. Right? Props, things like that. One of my favorite movies is Ben Hur. And so when I watch Ben Hur and I see number 41 and he's an under rower like we described in first Corinthians, It's dramatic. It shows me that it depicts what Paul is saying. It's kind of like I'm there. And Passion of the Christ, you know, is a prop. It's a imagery, if you will, a sign, and it kind of, obviously depicts the suffering that Jesus went through. I'm okay. Jesus went through with the with the cross. And so we look at movies, and we can learn from movies. We have in their case, they didn't have the movies, but they've had drama. They'd have skits. And the prophet here, you know, he's a preacher, but the Lord made him mute. Notice in verse 26 of chapter three, he wanted him to be dumb, to be mute, be muted, not going to be speaking. So turn to second Chronicles, second Chronicles chapter 36. Chapter 36 verse 14, or I'll start from verse 10. Second Chronicles thirty six Thirty six. Alright. Okay. You okay? Yeah. Just gonna pull my pants out. K. Perfect. Oh, You're on wow. Okay. Better? Thanks, you guys. Yeah. Get it. Careful. Don't wanna act like a plumber. Okay. Alright. That was great. Thank you very much. We are enjoying the sunshine here in beautiful, beautiful Bremerton. The sun is out. They're chemtrailing, but we're okay. Alright. So in chapter 36. Now, this hasn't happened yet. Ezekiel was a part of the second deportation. The five eighty six hasn't happened yet when the temple is gonna be destroyed. So a couple years away And alright. Verse 10. And when and when the year was ended, king Nebuchadnezzar, brought him to Babylon with the precious vessels of the house of the Lord and made Zedekiah's brother king over Judah and Jerusalem. Zedekiah was one and 20 years old when he began to reign, and he reigned eleven years in Jerusalem. And he did that which was, evil in the sight of the Lord his God, and humbled not himself before Jeremiah the prophet speaking from the mouth of the Lord. And he also rebelled against King Nebuchadnezzar who had made him swear by God, but he stiffened his neck and hardened his heart from turning unto the God of Israel. Moreover, all the chief of of the priests and the people transgressed very much after the abominations of the nations and polluted the house of the Lord, which he had hallowed in Jerusalem. And the Lord God And the Lord God of their fathers sent to them by his messengers rising up early and sending because he had compassion on his people in his dwelling place. So he's sending messengers, and they're communicating through, you know, by preaching, teaching, verbally, if you will. But they mocked the messengers of God and despised his words and misused his prophets until the wrath of the Lord arose against his people till there was no remedy. Where's America at? Is there a remedy? And when we look at a a person, we think sometimes, an individual human being, you know, they're reprobate. They're beyond help. There's no way they're savable. There's no way God can save them. And, we don't know that. We don't know that. And so until there isn't any more breath in them, until they have no pulse, there's still hope. There's still hope that God in regard to his own nation, God's saying, as he's analyzing it, he's saying, I've exhausted every avenue to bring you to a place of repentance, but, you won't you won't listen. I can't communicate. I can't get through to you. Therefore, he brought upon them the king of the Chaldeans, who slew the young men with a sword, and the house of their sanctuary laid no compassion upon the young man, the maiden old man who stooped, for age and gave all into his hand, and all the vessels of the house of the great, and small, and the treasures of the house of the Lord, all the treasures of the king and the princes, and these brought to Babylon. And they burned the house of God, and broke down the Wall Of Jerusalem, burned in all of its palaces fire, and destroyed all of its precious vessels. And those who had escaped from the sword carried away to Babylon, where they were servants to him and his sons until the reign of the king of Persia, to fulfill the word of the Lord of the mouth of Jeremiah until the land had enjoyed her Sabbaths for as long as they desolate her Sabbaths to fulfill threescore and ten years. So four ninety years, they didn't allow every seventh year the land to have its Sabbath rest. So they've got seventy years that they owe God. And so turn over to Ezekiel four. So now the means of communication we're going to see is, as we said, with signs. And so thou also, son of man, take thee a tile and lay it before thee, and portray upon it the city, even Jerusalem. So how many of you can draw? Anybody able to draw? Any you'll be able to go up to a chalkboard and draw in the city of Jerusalem and all that or a whiteboard? Their means of, drawing was using a brick, and so it'd be like two feet wide. The Babylonians used it. And and so he's the city of Jerusalem, so make sure you put the city of Jerusalem up and and lay a siege against it and build a fort against it and cast a mound against it and set the camp also against it and set battering rams against it round about. So when you were a kid, how many of you played army in the yard? Right? And you had little army men. Right? And you had little mounds where you build a mound and all. So he could be building a picture of Jerusalem, a picture of the walls, a picture outside the walls of Nebuchadnezzar's, you know, military. They're as he's described here, a rampart where they're going to build a ramp up of, you dig in the sand, you dig in the dirt out there in the backyard and you're building a moat around it and all that sort of thing. And one of the things we really love to do is to take a lighter and burn the you know, catch them on fire, little army guys. You know? Did you ever catch one of those on fire? Oh, yeah. And they melt. Help. Help. You know? And so you're you're flame throwing them, right? Lighter fluid? Yeah. Little bombs and stuff. Yeah. Throw bombs. So that's how he's communicating. He's saying there's no remedy. I'm giving you a picture. You won't listen to me. I'm dumb. So now I'm going to give you a picture and this is the picture or like Rob can build a ship, Rob can build a model. How many built models? You can build a model, airplane models, army models and and you put it all together and it's a visual. And every day for three ninety days, Ezekiel is going to go out there and lay on his left side and then his right side for another forty days. And he's going to say a whole lot, but he's going to show them the model. So this brick and he puts a sketch on it and or built a model, a model made to communicate. And I believe the Lord communicates to us in a lot of different ways, through our children, our wives, family, through the teaching of the word, many different ways. And it's a matter of if we have ears to hear. Hosea twelve ten, he can speak through the similitudes, the types. And so he laid the siege against it. And so a siege is, you're going to surround that Jerusalem and nobody in, nobody out. And this is their primary means of subduing a nation. You're gonna starve them. You're gonna cause the food to be scarce. So they're gonna have food stored up, but, we're going to stay here. It's gonna stay eighteen months during this siege, eighteen months, and we know they reach a place where they're actually eating babies. They resort to cannibalism because there's no food left. There's no more livestock to kill. There's no horses to kill. There's no more grain. They'll be selling dung, doves dung and stuff like that. But then pretty soon, the women who have had babies are boiling their own babies. Remember when we read in Lamentations and the horror of cannibalism. And so lay siege against it and build a fort so you can have these you wanna get some height so you're gonna build these I don't know. You guys watch some movies, right? Lord of the Rings. See some of those big tall things they make to get up high so that they can get to the height of the walls of Jerusalem and all. And so they can shoot arrows and not be shut down at, but gain some height. So you want the high ground so they can build a fort against it. They cast them out, so now they need a ramp. Now they wanna build out of dirt a ramp to get up to the top of the wall if they can. And they're wanting the height. They gotta get over those walls, set against it, and the camp also against it. So you've got the camp of Nebuchadnezzar's guys. You gotta put his camps outside the wall and let them know that, hey, the guys are here. And then you got a battering ram. And so the lower rocks, the foundational stones are really huge. So that ramp will help you because if you got a battering ram, you can come up a height a little bit higher and you're going to be able to ram some stones, some rocks that aren't as big. That you have a greater chance of breaking them and entering the city to break the walls down. And and so you got this battering ram against it round about, and you can kinda see it. Right? You can get a visual. So that's what God's created, a visual. And Nancy was giving me a visual today of Revelation four and five. She was seeing it in three d pictures that she's reading, and and that's a good exercise. Vicky wants Germ when he shows up here to draw a picture of a seraphim angel or a cherubim angel. Right? And I would love it. Gotta do some background to what these angels look like. And so that would that would be he's you know, obviously, Jeremy already drew one angel. He drew my wife. So that's I'm slick, man. I'm so slick. Gosh. You guys can write that one down. You guys can use that. Oh, I love you, honey. All right. And then Lacey, okay, battering ram's against the roundabout. And so today, if we wanted to communicate in that way, you guys, a lot of you watch, people watch The Chosen. Pastor Greg Laurie makes movies and others make movies, Christian movies to depict these things, the birth of Christ and such. And so the visual is a good way to communicate. Moreover, take under thee an iron pan, and set it for a wall of iron between thee and the city, and set thy face against it, and it shall be besieged, thou shalt lay siege against it. This shall be a a sign to the house of Israel. And so now he's gonna take like a girdle pan that the priest would wear. Ezekiel's a priest, chapter one verse three. And and they would have this iron kind of a girdle thing that they'd wear and that they'd have in the in the offering of animals and stuff. And so you're going to take this iron pan and you're going to use it as a means of separation. And so the picture is that your sins have separated me from you. God's saying, you got the siege around you. You don't have access toward me. There's a wall of separation, that this iron pan is depicting. And so because of the sin, because of the rebellion of their heart. Isaiah 59 verse two. My ear is not so heavy that it cannot hear. Right? My eyes that I cannot see. But your sins have separated you from me, and I will not hear. Right? So God sees everything, but it's not that he can't hear their prayers. My ear is not so heavy that I cannot hear, but it's your sin. Your sin has separated me from you. So when God told Adam and Eve not to eat of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, or you'll die, When Adam and Eve when Eve was beguiled and sinned, missing the mark, and then Adam transgressed, knowing what he's doing, stepped over the mark. Satan lied to him, said, you won't die, but death is defined as separation from God. So they tried to cover their nakedness, their sin with fig leaves, which was a religious effort. They knew they were naked and they were experiencing the guilt thereof. And the Lord gave them coats of skins, which speaks of Jesus, the lamb of God, who would one day be born as the seed of the woman, the virgin born son of God, and that he would die. But then they were expelled from the garden. Adam, where are you? And it's the voice of a heartbroken father in that Adam used to be able to walk in the cool of the day in the garden with the Lord and have sweet fellowship with the Lord. But now there's a spiritual death. There's a separation. Then ultimately later, as he's in his 900 years old, 900, Adam will physically die. And when we have someone in our life that dies, death is separation. We're separated from them. And for us as Christians, when we come to know the Lord, there's no longer that separation. In John nine, the disciples described how we know that sinners, their prayers, you know, God doesn't hear the prayers of sinners. So the disciples are concerned about a man that's 40 years old and was born blind. Who did sin, this man or his parents that he was born blind? And Jesus said, neither. This man was born this way, not by accident, but to bring glory and honor unto God and that God was going to heal him. But the disciples had this mindset that unbelievers, people that are sinners, you know, God doesn't hear their prayers. And that's true. God doesn't hear the prayers of sinners until they pray that one prayer, God be merciful to me a sinner. And then they have access. You and I have the privilege of access. And it's if you want an illustration, a picture of that access you have, tell me where in the bible is a description of physical description that communicates access. The of the temple. There you go. So that veil that the nobody could go past and the holy of holies that only the priest could go once a year. And we read in, you know, Hebrews four that rather than a judgment seat, it's his throne of grace, mercy to find help in time of need. And so we can boldly come now before that, throne of grace. So we have access. There's no separation. And we also see in Ephesians two where Paul said there was a middle wall of partition that separated Gentiles from Hebrews, from the Jews. And at the temple court, there's a sign there that any Gentiles have passed this you know, crossed this line, your death is your own at your own doing, at your own risk, you know. And so because of Jesus and because of the cross, there's no separation between Jew and Gentile, male, female, barbarian, Scythian, bonded, and free. We're all one in Christ Jesus. So there's no racism or bigotry or hierarchy, if you will. Jesus brings us all together as one. For these guys, there's a wall of separation in that they've crossed the line. And so Pharaoh, when God was sending Moses and Aaron to Pharaoh, there came a point in time where Pharaoh his heart was hardened. God confirmed Pharaoh's heart. God said, Let my people go, and Pharaoh wouldn't do it. And then there came a point in time where the Lord confirmed, as we read in Romans nine, when we read concerning the hardening of Pharaoh's heart. You can reach a place where God finally says, Not my will be done, but your will be done, Where you're past the point of where your conscience, as Paul described it, is seared with a hot iron and you have what the Bible describes as a reprobate mind. So your past feeling, can do unconscionable. Today, people call them psychopaths or narcissists. But people who have resisted the Holy Spirit for so long that finally God gives them over to their base desires and their past, the point of no return, so to speak. One of the worst men in the Bible, that of Manasseh, fifty five years of doing things worse than all the nations around him, but God saved Manasseh as God caused the Assyrians to put hooks in his face and bring him back to Assyria. And in that pain, in that humiliation and struggle, Manasseh gave his heart to the Lord. So examples in the scriptures, examples throughout history of people we thought that were too far gone and yet they become trophies of God's grace. But the nation as a whole, there's no saving this nation. There's no remedy at this point. There's no reprieve coming like the city of Nineveh was given. God sent us prophets. He sent Jeremiah the weeping prophet, space of four, forty years. And ultimately, the Lord, would send His only begotten Son to the nation of Israel and would walk for three and a half years among them, showing many signs and wonders, irrefutable proof of who he is. He would preach. He would teach. And if you don't believe me in my words, you know, believe me for my very work's sake. Man that was born blind in John nine, he said, it's an interesting thing you don't know who he is. Never in the history of the world has anybody that's been born blind been made to see. Go tell him, John, are you the one or do we look for another? Go tell him. Go tell John that the dead are raised to life, the blind are able to see, the lepers are cleansed, and the poor have the gospel preached unto them. Blessed is he that's not offended in me. And so John needed to be reminded of the uniqueness of Jesus, the uniqueness in the sense that only God can do the things that Jesus is able to do. So he had the credentials. He had the proof, if you will, his very work's sake. And so the siege against this shall be a sign under the house of Israel. Who wants to read Hosea 12 verse 10? I quote that verse a lot. I quote it all the time. Hosea 12 verse 10. Who wants Isaiah fifty three eleven and twelve six through 12? I don't know. When we get when we get there, I'll tell you. Okay. Hosea twelve ten. We got Jim Miller here from Bremerton. Those of you on Facebook. Hosea or Isaiah? Hosea. Hosea. I speak in tongues sometimes. Anybody interpret? Misheard. Holy. Okay. Should I go? Okay. Have also spoken by the prophets. I and I have multiplied visions and used similitudes similitudes by the ministry of the prophets. So that's what's happening here. So what was the first one? Prophesied? Yes. And then visions. God's communicating people getting vision. Right? And the third way in that text there? Similitudes. What's a similitude? Parable? Story. Story, a picture, demonstration, right? A sign. A sign, right? And so similitude. So we talk about types, typological truths in the Bible. What's one of your favorite types in the Old Testament that comes to life in the New? Genesis 22. Yeah? Awesome. Very good. You're a good student. Alright. Isaiah 50 three:six through 12. Missus Miller. This is Marlene Miller, mother and grandmother, saint, prophetess, evangelist, wife. Who wants to who wants to draw a picture of her? Oh, you're An angel. Another angel. I think you're making her. Sorry. Marlene. K. What was She's gonna cry. She's starting to cry. Alright. Isaiah 53, six through 12. All we, like sheep, have gone astray. We have turned everyone to his own way, and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all. He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth. He is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he opened not his mouth. He was taken from prison and from judgment, and who shall declare his generation? For he was cut off out of the land of the living, for the transgression of my people was he stricken. And he made his grave with the wicked and with the rich in his death, because he had none no violence, neither was ye need deceit in his mouth. Seven hundred years before Jesus came, prophesied of what it would be like, of what he'd go through. Now, he says here, lie also upon thy left side and lay the iniquity of the house of Israel upon it. So we just read in Isaiah 53 that Jesus bore the iniquities. Ezekiel being a priest, he could be a mediator. He could stand in the gap, to speak. Job is crying out for a daysman, someone to stand between to communicate with God. But the picture there is that the prophet Ezekiel would lie on his left side for the house of Israel, which are the 10 northern tribes, and he's going to go three ninety days on his left side And as an illustration of bearing their iniquity, putting up with them, according to the number of the days that thou shalt lie upon it, thou shalt bear their iniquity. You and I can't bear somebody else's iniquity. Only Jesus, can bear our iniquities. Father, if you're willing, remove this cup from me, but nevertheless, not as I will, but thy will be done. And so the sins of the whole world, past, present, and future, were placed upon him. Now how many of you suffer with anxiety, carrying a burden that you're not supposed to carry? Anybody? A burden of iniquity, a burden for sin, a burden so Jesus gives you an invitation in Matthew 11. Right? Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden. Right? And I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn of me from meek and lowly in heart, and ye shall find rest under your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is what? If you're carrying a heavy burden, you need to give it to Jesus. You weren't designed to carry that burden, right? He's the only one that can carry that burden. He knows our frame. He remembers that we're dust, fashioned from the dust of the ground. And we can't take on sins and iniquity of other people. We have enough to deal with in our own life. There's enough sin in my own life in any given day that I don't need to be worried about somebody else's sin. I can look in the mirror and cast all my cares upon the Lord. I can confess my sin, and He's faithful and just to forgive me of my sin and to cleanse me of all unrighteousness. My wife can't carry the burden of my iniquity. I can't carry the burden of my children's iniquity. Now I can be burdened in the sense of intercessory prayer. There's a burden on my heart, but I have to give my children over to the Lord. I can't ultimately carry that burden. So I have to cast my cares upon Him. I have to lift those I love up to the Lord. I have to lift these pressures up to the Lord. And I say, Lord, you take it. Lord, you take it. And the problem of casting our cares upon the Lord is it's a real heavy ball and it keeps rolling back on me. It's just I cast it and it just keeps rolling downhill back on me. So I have to keep casting it. I have to keep casting it upon him and leave it there. Don't take it back. Don't go there again. And those of us that are parents, we know what it is to try to carry the burden of the iniquity of our children, the things that they do, the things that as prodigals. And we have to give them up to the Lord. We have to release them up to the Lord. Lord, they're yours. And so we talk about them reaching a place of accountability, being responsible for their own actions. But here, the picture, there's a picture of Ezekiel. You don't have to leave. She can stay. These guys are louder than her. I'm telling you. Alright. According to the number of the days that thou shalt lie upon it, thou shalt bear their iniquity. For I have laid upon thee the years of their iniquity. Man, that make you old, wouldn't it? I'm laying upon you the years of their iniquity. According to the number of the days, three hundred ninety days, so shall thou bear the iniquity of the house of Israel. So you're going to lay looking toward the north, three hundred and ninety years of iniquity, and you're going to lay for about thirteen months on your left side and looking north. You know? That's where you're you're gonna look toward the north. So a picture of how long suffering, how patient God has been with the 10 northern tribes before they were destroyed in July by the Assyrians. And when thou hast accomplished them lie again on thy right side. It's so nice to be able to turn over, isn't it? You're laying on your left side and your for me, if I lay on my right side, my leg goes numb. So I I can't since I hurt my back when I was 34, if I lay on my right side, I wake up, totally numb on my right side. So I can sleep on my left side, and I love to get that baby style on my left side. And then, as I'm getting older, my injury is causing my left side to cause a lot of pain. And so what what is nice is I still have a a spot. When I was young, I used to sleep on my stomach. How many is that used to sleep on your stomach? Years ago. Man, I don't even know what would happen if I tried that one. So now I get to go on my back. And it feels so good to get relief from the pain to get on my back. And I can see Ezekiel three ninety days. Now, we know from verse nine that he's not laying there full time. Well, look at verse nine, he's got to make some food, right? So there's another part, another sign, another picture that the Lord's having him do during this time. So there's two illustrations in this chapter. Then in chapter five, will be a couple more. But the people would come, Hey, when's Ezekiel, that crazy prophet? When's he coming out? Oh, he'll be out pretty soon. He's well, three hundred ninety days. But each day, he'd go out there and lay down on his left side. And not say a word, you know, but have that that model out there. Everybody's looking at the model. Alright. That's Nebuchadnezzar out there, you know, and let's connect the dots. And so let them know this this is God's judgment. So you have false prophets who are saying, don't worry. Don't worry. Nebuchadnezzar is not gonna destroy you. The Chinese and the Russians aren't going to destroy America. Your government's watching out for you. And when Donald Trump gets in there, he's gonna fix everything that's broke. And and it's buying time for the globalist, isn't it? Because the passivity, everybody's passive. They won't do anything presently to alleviate the criminality, the corruption. It's everything's on hold till the Donald comes again. Well, that gives the Republicans and the Democrats everybody all the time they need because there's no resistance. Nobody's resisting them. So these guys, same sort of thing. God sent Jeremiah forty years and the false prophets keep giving them a false hope. And with that false hope, they're paralyzed in activity. Nobody acts correctly. There's no call to repentance because the false prophets give them a false hope that the Egyptians are going to come and subdue Nebuchadnezzar and God saying to Ezekiel, make it real plain so even a child could understand. Make a puzzle out of it. Make a toy out of it. Make a picture for them because words prove to be inadequate. Nobody's listening to my words. Today, I listened to a portion of JD Frog's Sunday night prophecy update, and very, very fascinating. He gave 12 reasons why we're on the final lap, you know, close to the rapture, And, one of the portions in there is COVID. That COVID is the number one sign that the rapture is close. It's a sign. And the reason is, is because everything else is connected according to JD to COVID. So the devil's able to use the compliance of the whole world with a scripted and we see the behavior of people that we've never ever seen before that can only be explained by demonic influence and that the devil and the powers that be, the powers of darkness are synchronizing the events, the strategy, a convergence, other guys use that term, everything's converging, coming together. And COVID is at the heart of it. COVID is the main component that was scripted ahead of time. And he made an interesting point, something I've been saying forever. This is why I don't go to pastors conferences. This is why I have no stomach for a meeting with leaders because they don't talk about the elephant in the room. Nobody will mention COVID. Nobody will talk about the genocide of people that are dying. Nobody will talk about the mRNA shot that's a prelude to everybody being forcibly getting that shot because that's what ties in the technology with your ID. Everybody has to have an ID for the new currency, for the new surveillance system. But guys are supposed to be into prophecy. They're pastors, but they won't talk about it. It's it's mind boggling. So what's the Lord gonna have to do? Have somebody lay on their side for three hundred ninety days? And and the people scratch their head head and say, you know, well, why is he doing that? Because he can't get through to anybody. Nobody everybody's in denial acting like it's not happening. And so JD was good in that way, and he and he said this, it was very interesting. He said, I've yet to hear a pastor talk about this. Well, I talk about it, but I'm not one of the big guys. And very few pastors apparently are addressing, you know, what's going on. And people have a false hope. The churches are locked into a false hope. They think they're going to get back to normal when the Trumpster comes in. So it's debilitating. It causes people an inaction, no sense of urgency. And and so he talked about many of these pastors. What's happened to them is they took the money. And because they took the money, they can't talk about COVID. Secondly, many of them have skeletons in their closet according to JD. So the big influential ones are told ahead of time, do not try to wake people up and talk about this issue. Don't say a word or we will expose you. That's called having handlers. That's most of the all the politicians before you're a politician, your handler has a whole dossier on you, a whole file on you. That's the way they control you, and that file is exposed if ever you go off the reservation. And then the third way that JD spoke of of why they're silent is they're actually you're threatened that they'll kill you and kill your children. Yeah. Right? And I've always known that about the politicians, but for him to say pertaining to the pastors, I always thought the pastors were free to speak because if God's for me, who can be against me? So why am I so filled with fear that I won't that I won't mention any of this? And so, basically, where where Ezekiel's at is it's over. It's judgment, and I'm going to communicate to you that judgment's coming. It's here. It's at the door. The the Chinese have four forty million people coming across the border in just a short period of time that are already here. Already here. And imagine if you were to lay that out for people. Lay it lay it in a a movie or a picture. Show show the land that's being bought up. Show the farmland that's being bought up. How can your representatives allow Bill Gates to buy up all the farmland? How can they allow the Chinese to buy up all the farmland? How where is your representative government now? Why do you keep waiting for the savior, the Trumpster, to come and fix it all? You have Republicans and Democrats on the same team bringing judgment upon your upon your nation. They don't do anything to stop it. So it's it's mind boggling to me how silent how silent our culture is about the brevity of the times in which we're living. So God's been trying to communicate to these guys just how serious this time is, and and he still loves them, and he wants them to get ready for what's coming. And he says, Judah so Judah gets forty days. So I'll lie again on thy right side, and thou shalt bear the iniquity of the house of Judah forty days. I have appointed thee each day for a year for a year. Now what does the three ninety days represent? What does the forty days represent? So Jesus was without food for forty days. That's good. That's as good a guess as any of the commentators I read. Nobody knows definitively what this means. There is no teacher of the bible that I've read, and I read a bunch today, guys I respect, including pastor Chuck. Chuck Missler made a good one that Chuck alluded to that you take the numbers and it points to a certain day in 1967, the sixty seven war, you know, way out there, okay? Chuck basically in his teaching said, I gotta go home tonight and restudy this because I don't know. So one of the best explanations that I saw was from a guy named Warren Weirsby. And Warren Weirsby, it speaks of the years of the rebellion. So the forty represents the forty years of rebellion of the children of Israel when in the circling in the wilderness. K? The three ninety for the northern tribe, when Rehoboam in first Kings fourteen twenty one, when Rehoboam became king to Zedekiah, which we read about, the last king, is a period of three hundred and ninety four years of rebellion against God. We've got a number that's three ninety, that's March. And then Weirsby brings in that there was three years in Ray Baum's ministry in two Chronicles eleven sixteen and seventeen you can erase three years for good behavior because Rehoboam for three years walked with the Lord. So you have three ninety four, you remove three, we're pretty close. The best we can do is three ninety one. That's the best we can do. Were you here when we studied Jeremiah? Most of it. Okay. Jeremiah is known as the weeping prophet. Jeremiah was a pastor like me in that not like Jonah. Jonah had a huge revival. But Jeremiah had nobody, maybe one guy, that came to the Lord in forty years. But there's 40 years old. Some said Jeremiah's 40 years old. That's good. Some said it alluded to Jeremiah. That's another one. That's good you brought that up. I was gonna bring that up. Good job, Cheryl. But no, that is one of the one of them said that. So that pertain to the was his ministry to the southern tribe? Jeremiah's, yes. Jeremiah's ministry to the southern tribe to Judah for forty years. That's good. Forty years of rebellion. And so four thirty years is the duration that the children of Israel spent in Egypt, the three ninety and the forty. Do you see that? Four thirty is the time that they spent in Egypt. So four thirty years of punishment. And so those I mean, just as smart as all the commentators. I mean, it's up for grabs. So when we read second Chronicles, we saw that they're gonna spend seventy years in captivity in Babylon. Right? And that was because of four hundred ninety years. Seven times seven is forty nine. So four hundred ninety years, not three ninety plus forty. So the seventy is easy to explain because every seventh year, they were supposed to allow the ground to have a Sabbath, but they didn't. So God says, you owe me seventy. And so they spent seventy years in captivity, but these numbers don't fit with all that. Alright. So there you go. You could write a book if you figure this out. You're the first one to ever crack the three ninety and the 40, man, Which a lot of them do. Go be a YouTube prophet. Yeah. For profit. Alright. So any other ideas? You guys are smart. The three ninety four, the northern, that's a hard one. But yeah, 40, there's a lot pertaining to 40. Jesus fasted for forty days, right? Forty nights. Okay. Lie on the right side, and thou shalt bear the iniquity of the house of Judah forty days. I have appointed thee each day for a year. So he's going to spend about eighteen months, thirteen months doing this. So therefore, thou shalt set thy face toward the siege of Jerusalem, and thine arms shall be uncovered, and thou shalt prophesy against it. So no fluff, no little sermonettes. You're going to God's arm, His right arm, His strength is not gonna be available to them. He's gonna give them over. So you're gonna you're you're gonna your face is toward the siege of Jerusalem, and thine arm shall be uncovered, and thou shalt prophesy against it. Not for it, but against it. So Ezekiel, like Jeremiah, is gonna be against the false prophets. And the false prophets, they're very profitable. They're very wealthy. They're very pampered. They get away with everything. Nobody holds them accountable. They make it up as they go. Whole lot of people love what they have to say. They get tired of with their itchy ears, they look for false prophets that'll tell them what they wanna hear. They begin to give in to doctrines of demons and fables, little stories. And but ultimately, they're judged. Ultimately, one day it comes to where they're found out to be liars, and it doesn't work anymore. So in the interim there, why does the Lord allow the false prophets to get away with so much? Expose the hearts of the people. The Lord speaks of sending the false prophet, allowing the false prophet to come to test your heart where your heart's at, if you believe them or not. So you're going through a trial, you're going through a test, there's a test. And in churches, in one Corinthians 11, we're going to come where division, the word division when a church is divided over an issue. A lot of times, the church is divided over peripheral things, things that don't mean anything. And it's just flesh. It's it's horrible. But there's times where a pastor has to stand up and not compromise on central issues. Maybe the deity of Christ, maybe sharing the gospel, maybe concerning sin, marriage, homosexuality, transgenderism. All these things are non negotiable for a real pastor. It's non negotiable. It's God's way or the highway. But there'll be people that will threaten and coerce and fight and try to convince. And I think we should have women pastors and things like that. And when that happens, that's a test for the church. That's a test. Paul says, These sex, S E C T S, are necessary for it manifests, you're going through the fire of testing, it manifests those approved. Approval is you came through the fire and you're still following Christ. You made it. You made it through the struggle. Now what happens is the false prophets when they're doing this, when Satan's strategy is to destroy a church through division, to infiltrate and divide, it's not the frontal attack from the communist. Right? It's within the church he's come in. He's infiltrated with the goats and the the tares. Right? And he'll one of the most effective, most powerful tools when that's happening is simply tears. People are irrational. They don't listen to reason. They don't listen to the word of God. They'll begin to say, Pastor Rick's mean. He made me cry. And all I said was one word, No. And when people get in that mode, you're not allowed to say no as a leader within the church. You have to try and make every faction, every group happy, and it's impossible. So I told you last week I have an audience of one, right? And that my audience is Jesus. He's the only one I'm preaching to. And so Kathy and I have weathered many, many, many of these things over twenty nine years. And it breaks our heart because we think we're one, we're moving forward, we got some momentum, we're a threat to the kingdom of darkness and things are starting to happen. And then all of a sudden, 30 people leave of a church of 60 or 70. And then the worship leader says, without me, all you've got is a boombox. You don't give in to me, I'm going to take 30 people and leave. And they do. They do. And they they hold you hostage, and it's a power play and the whole thing. So so all I know is I have to weather those things. It doesn't matter the size of the church or whatever. It's a matter of integrity. It's a matter of COVID. It's a matter of integrity. If I have to, that night that we were here, out of respect for Rob and Vicky, I said, well, if you don't want us to meet here, that's your decision, but I'm gonna still meet. There's no doubt in my mind, I'm going meet somewhere. May not be here, but I'm going to meet. We're not closing the church. So those are the kind of decisions that prove that I'm a pastor and also prove that you're a Christian. It proves. You're proven. You passed the test. And so these people are people are not passing the test. And it's tragic because there's so few believers, and yet the Lord says, have 7,000 out of the whole nation that haven't bowed their knees to the prophet Baal to Elijah in a time of great, great apostasy. The Lord always has His. So, and I'll behold, I will lay cords upon thee. So I'm going to tie you up. And what do you think the ropes that tying him up symbolizes if we're looking at types? Bondage is sin. You're going into bondage. You're going into slavery. Those of you that survive this that don't die, you're going to be slaves of Nebuchadnezzar. You've lost your freedom. Now how many people today will give up their freedom for security? They're deceived, aren't they? You're not going to give up your freedom as a Christian. You're to replace not Jesus Christ with worshiping and trusting in government. How many people trust in government today? And what does government want? More and more and more. Because who's behind the government? The devil. What's the devil want? Worship. The devil wants to be God. So the devil uses trillions and trillions and trillions of dollars to buy off everybody that's for sale. But you're not for sale, nor are we. So we're willing to suffer. We're willing to be impoverished. We're willing to be like in Hebrews 11, the others were willing to be like the others. Some were sawn into like Isaiah, and they were in goatskins, and they were in caves and dwellings and hiding and under attack, whom this world was not worthy of, right? Because we wanna glorify the Lord. And behold, I will lay cords upon thee, and thou shalt not turn from one side to the other till thou hast ended the days of the siege. So no escape. No no escape except Jesus Christ, like we talked about Sunday. You're in bondage to sin. There's no escape from that bondage to sin unless the great emancipator, unless Jesus who came to set the captives free. Free indeed. Do you love your freedom? Do you love your freedom in Christ? Christianity is resisted by people in many cases because they say, I just can't give up and fill in the blank. To them, Christianity is bondage. I would have to give up alcohol. I'd have to give up promiscuity. I'd have to give up lying. And if I don't lie, won't make any money. My whole business is based upon deception, lying to people. And so they count the cost and they look at it, and at least they're honest because in John three, it says, you will not believe because your deeds are evil and you love darkness rather than light. But for me as a Christian, I recognize on the other side of it now, I'm more free than I ever was. I can have all the alcohol I want, I just don't want any. I I that's not freedom to me. That's bondage. I'm free in that I don't need the things I used to need to try and rely upon and cope to get through life. I'm free. I'm really free. Just give me give me a double portion of meat, and I'm I'm good to go, man. Did you guys see that platter yesterday? Did you see that platter? Double. It was a when when Elisha was being anointed by Elijah, he wanted a double portion. That's what I got. I got a double portion. Of everything. Man, I tell you. I love it. Okay. Verse nine. New paragraph. Another illustration. Now, I don't want to be crude, but some of you guys in your minds, you're going to think about a certain kind of a sandwich. And you don't need to say it, but it's not going be pretty. So take also under the wheat and barley, beans and lentils. Now what is the grain? What is the vegetable? Come on. Come on. Wheat, barley, meat, lentils, and millet. So you got three types of grain and two veggies. Right? The beans and the lentils, veggies. Now how many of you go to the store and buy Ezekiel bread? Anybody ever buy Ezekiel bread? The prisoner guy on it? Got a lot of seeds in it. Right? A lot of seeds and different mixtures. So when you're when you're in good times, you're gonna make some bread probably with a really, really good organic wheat. Right? Right? Is that what you'd make your bread with the best wheat you can find? What's a high end bread with the best ingredients ever? Steak bread? Dave's. Oh, Dave's bread. Okay. So what Dave's have in it? Is that the Azeka bread? Okay. So we're on a roll here. Here we go. So Ezekiel bread, there's several ingredients because they're poor. There's scarcity. They don't have an abundance of different types of enough wheat. Barley is the grain for poor people. The book of Revelation, they're going be drinking they're going to have barley whole day for barley burger, barley bread. And so they're in there's a food scarcity here. And in the great depression, or maybe some of your grandparents, when they'd come home, there'd be a pot. And that pot would have leftovers from some meals. And it's just that pot that's always going on the stove. Go get you a bowl of soup. Go get you a bowl of soup. And it's it's several different ingredients are thrown into that pot, and it's kept going. And and that's because you're poor. Right? But it's really good for you. And it's just always there. You come in out of the cold working, and you you got a really good bowl of soup. Kathy made the most incredible chicken noodle soup. It's like Jewish penicillin, This stuff is unreal. You could go forty days with no food after that. So many vitamins. So take wheat and take barley and take beans and lentils and millet and spelt and put them in one vessel and make bread of it. According to the number of the days that thou shalt lie upon thy side, three hundred and ninety days shalt thou eat of it. So he's not lying on his side all day long, like we said. There's a certain part of the day he's gonna have to be the top chef, and he's gonna have to get his apron on and go make some bread. How many of you had a have a bread maker? I do. Think How many of you never use it anymore? I use it all the time. Okay. All the time. I like waking up in the morning when Kathy used to, and that smell of fresh bread in the morning. Hit the button at night, you wake up and there's this cube of bread. Put butter in it. Oh, man. It's so good. It's so good, man. I want my square. Alright. So there you go. And make bread of it according to the number of the days thou shalt do that. So Ezekiel diet. The Ezekiel diet. You're You're gonna eat of it. This is his diet. And thy food which thou shall eat shall by weight be 20 a day from time to time shalt thou eat it. Sheckles. Okay. So it's about eight eight ounces a day if you compute that. And two third quarts of water. Thou shalt drink also water by measure. The sixth part so what he's illustrating here is the scarcity, how you got to be really careful with your portions. Need to hydrate, but your portions are going be small portions and you got to be exacting to make sure you have you know, so that you can make it go. For me, there is no portion control. There is eat until you can't fit anymore in that belly of yours and until you're uncomfortable. That's my portion control. Hey, I don't stop. Whatever it takes. And unless I'm fasting, then then I have to back off. So thou shalt drink also water by measure, the sixth part of a hin. From time to time shalt thou drink. So hydrate, hydrate, hydrate, you military people. Two thirds of a quart. A pint, apparently. You guys know your measurements? Two eight ounces of bread. Eight ounces. That's what I said. Let me say it again. Yes. We didn't hear that. Okay. So here you go. Two thirds of a quart. Two thirds of a thirds a Three thirds of a quart. Alright. And thou shalt eat it as barley cakes, and thou shall bake it in their sight with dung that comes out of man. How many of you want some Ezekiel bread? What kind of sandwich is that? To cook. They're cooking with it. It's a source of fuel. There's no fuel. There's there's but but when Mitch does the brisket, where does the aroma go? How many of you would eat it? So what's the Lord doing with these guys? What's he saying? He's saying there's no wood. Now imagine Ezekiel. Now who is Ezekiel? He's a city boy like me. Alright? He hasn't been exposed to a lot of stuff, you know? So he doesn't do goats and he doesn't do all this stuff, but sometimes he has to. And he does now. And so he's a priest. He's a Jew. He has a strict kosher diet. And he's never defiled himself like Peter in Acts chapter 10 verse 14 when he told when he was in a trance, rise Peter, kill me. Not so, Lord. Well, it's an oxymoron. Right, Kath? Oxymoron? Not so, Lord. If he's Lord, can't say not so. Right? Not so, Lord. I've never eaten anything that's common or unclean. Don't call that common, which I've planned. So speaking concerning the Gentiles. Right? Share the gospel with Cornelius, house of Cornelius, you're Jews, and you can eat with them now. And Peter was caught up when some guys came down from Antioch, Paul said. Even Barnabas was caught up in it, where they separated themselves. When the heavies came down from Jerusalem, they separated themselves from the from the Gentiles. And Paul says, you know, that was hypocritical. Shouldn't have done that. There's no more wall of separation. So Ezekiel is in a panic. He's in a panic. He's just like, you want me to eat that? You want me to cook it that way? Yeah. Are you serious? You're asking a lot from a a dude. You know? So he says, you need to use the dung that comes out of man. And the Lord said, even thus shall the children of Israel eat their defiled bread. So this is how bad it's gonna get for the those under the seeds. There's going to be no more fire to fuel the fire to make the bread. They're going to have to they're going to have to do it, and they're going to be defiled. It's going be humiliating. And just to go on record, I say this a lot, but I mean it. I don't ever want crickets, mealworms, anything that Bill Gates and Claus and all of them can laugh at me because look at what you're eating now. I want to have a certain dignity where I eat food that God provides and not give in to these nut job synthetic meat globalist, whack a doodle nut jobs, just tell you. Next thing we know, they're going to be taking humans, grinding the humans up and putting that in our food. Soilent grating. Yep. So it's it's just degrading. It's so degrading. And in Deuteronomy chapter 23 Deuteronomy twenty three twelve through 14, if you're going camping, who goes camping? You're to go outside the camp and you're to dig a hole and you're to remove the human excrement to a hole outside the camp, not in the camp. Right? That's how crucial it was to keep things clean and to remove, you know, the human excrement. How many of you, when you go for walks, carry a little blue bag when you're walking your dog? Right? Yeah. And you pick that stuff up, don't you? You don't want anybody stepping on it to file the walkway. I know it's so warm. It's so warm when you pick it up. Now how many of you wanna be a dog walker? Nothing. And have several of them. You ever seen those people out there? Oh, golly. Golly. If you're a dog walker, I'm sorry. I'm just I'm a child. I'm a child. Alright. So this is what you got as a pastor. So when you go camping though, you dig a hole, you teach the kids, the campers, alright, we dig a hole out here, and this is where you put that stuff. And and or you go out of the camp, way outside the camp, to do your business. And and the Lord said, even thus shall the children of Israel eat their defiled bread among the nations, where I will drive them. So you're not gonna have your old kosher kind of bread. You're gonna have this you're gonna be poor, and you're not gonna have the good kind of unleavened bread that you're accustomed to as you're growing up. You're going to be grabbing forth whatever you can put together and where I will drive them. Then said I, watch look at Ezekiel. I can feel it. I can just feel it. Then said I, oh, Lord God. I mean, it's intense. It's like everything he's got. Everything he's got. Says, this is a deep prayer. Behold, my soul has not been polluted. For from my youth up even till now, have I not eaten of that which dies of itself. So you're not to some there's roadkill. Something dies of itself. Oh, look. The dog died. Let's eat the dog. No. I I don't do that. I don't eat anything that dies of itself or is torn in pieces. So some coyotes came in and tore up your cat. You don't go eat the cat after that. You're not you're driving down the road and a deer gets hit by the car and, no. I'm not I'm I'm not gonna make venison out of that. I'm not gonna eat that. Well, why not? Some people say why not? Okay. Go ahead. You're not kosher. You're just not kosher. Alright. And it could have been a diseased could have been a diseased deer that went out in front of that car. That's what happened. That tasted so bad. Then said, oh, Lord God. Oh, Lord God, from my youth up has been polluted from my youth up even till now. So we look at food, but what are other ways we can pollute our soul that we allow into our lives? TV? What's that? Weed? Yeah. Foreign substances. But through the eye gate, the ear gate, the things that we allow into our house can corrupt and pollute us and pollute the minds and the hearts of our kids. So when you're thinking in terms of the movies and stuff that we watch, if any of you do, a lot of times, there's a sex scene. And the movie is super super good, and I don't know why they have to put that in there. And they also they put in nowadays, they just have to put in a a lesbian and a gay guy, you know, always. Always, always, always. The characters now are so dominant. So you can get certain type of programming that moves all the vowel words and stuff like that. And you can fast forward if you know the bad spots there so your kids don't see it and all that. And but one time I heard a guy say that people were saying, well, you know, it's just got a just a little bit of inappropriate thing in it. Just a just a tiny bit. Just just one scene. It was so it was so it was so minute. It it really it really wasn't that big of a deal. And the guy says, well, what if I what if I made some chocolate chip cookies? And I brought the chocolate chip cookies to bible study and I passed them out to everybody. And I let everybody know that not all of that in there is chocolate chips. There's just a little bit of dog poop. Just a little bit. Just a little bit of dog poop in there. Don't worry about it, it's just a tiny bit, tiny bit. What would you think? When you filled the file? So why is it we act like that pollution, that corruption is just a little bit? Paul reminds us that a little leaven leavens the whole lump. Right? You allow a little bit in into our lives, it inflames us, and it it and the other thing is, like, in my home, when I grew up, there was hot water, cold water, and beer. The kitchen sink. And it was it was like rock star. My dad had all the umpires, everybody in the neighborhood that come over there. And that was before it became a common thing. And so that's how I grew up. Just draw me a cold one, Rick. Draw me a cold one. And you go to the freezer when they get home, and you put it on the side, and you make the head be real small, and you just start passing those out. So I mimic that, and I tried to get into drinking alcohol before I was a Christian in high school and a couple years out of high school. But when we got married, we didn't even have alcohol at our wedding. No alcohol. No smoking on the grounds, the church grounds and all. People mad. There's some really angry people. And we had a fountain, and in our fountain, we put milk, just just pure, pure milk. So anyway, so now I'm thinking in terms of being a husband and a father and what kind of home that we want to have. And you guys heard me say this before, but holidays, when we go over to any kind of family members holidays and all, No drinking. Nothing foul on the TV. If anybody wanted to show something foul on the TV while we were there, we get up and leave. We're not going to subject our children to that sort of thing. And pretty soon they're calling us Mary and Joseph, and they're making fun of us. And we're fine with that, but as for me and my house, we're not gonna do that. And they began to stock the cooler with near beer and sneak their beers or whatever, but nonalcoholic beer, is fine. And I go down and visit in San Diego. My other family members can't control that down there. We gotta get in, get out quick, try to avoid and they're on their best behavior as much as they can. But then, all those years in our home, never ever ever ever ever ever can I recall filling our refrigerator up with alcohol? Right? So what I was afraid of was, even though it may just be a little bit, just one beer that they see dad drinking, just a little bit, which I could do, right, as a Christian? Just one glass of wine. But what if one of my kids, one drink went to a lifestyle of drugs and alcohol? You know, what if they don't have the the ability to say no? So, anyway, on the side of caution. All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient. I won't be brought under the power of any. I didn't go out for my birthday because I was afraid of the tempting We didn't take any out. Well, here's what Christians do. You come off of smoking and drinking. Some of us Christians still smoke. It's fine if that's what you want. But what we do is we substitute marijuana and drugs and alcohol for food. For chocolate. And we eat till we can't fit anymore in for the pleasure of eating. I do on Monday. Okay. We're always going to restaurants after service, at least we did we'd have bible studies down there, and then we'd go to a restaurant and have late meals. Love to fellowship around food. Jesus love to fellowship around food. And food is our we're foodies, man. We're just foodies. This is Callery Chapel. Callery. Yeah. So and you can anyway, there's a whole other study there somewhere. So Ezekiel, he's like trying to be real careful about his food. He doesn't want to defile himself. The thought of cooking that and then eating that just he's like begging God. He's begging God, please. Please. And so then notice verse verse 15. Then he said unto me, lo, I have given thee cow's dung for man's dung. So you don't have to cook your bread with man's dung. I'm gonna let you use the cow's dung. And thou shall prepare thy bread on it. And so he's like, praise the lord. Praise the lord. Now cow's dung is a prominent thing, a common thing. It dries out and then they take sticks and straw and they mix it there, know, put it together like kindling and all. And they'll get the rocks, they'll cook it, then they'll get the rocks real hard and then they'll cook the bread like a rock type little oven or whatever. And so it's very common for that part to be done. And that wouldn't defile him. It's not against the law for that sort of fuel to be used, although the human waste is. So when you hear municipalities around here messing with human waste and parts of humans that the water you're going to drink in Bremerton is going to come from your sewage. And we're going to clean the sewage up and we're going to cause your waste to be turned into drinking water. That's way off the charts. That's way wrong, way unhealthy. And all the different type of drugs that people take are in that type of water. They can't separate it out. Not to mention, one of the things that plagues and disease take place is when the sewage systems in communities break down, when you don't have the hygiene and the proper separation of this pollution, this stuff that you got to wash your hands, man. Compulsive. Wash your hands and don't mix this stuff. Make sure you're not around it. Have lots of wet wipes. You know? Wet wipes are good. Alright. So keep your hands clean. Keep the grandkids' hands clean. They're they're crazy. They go out in the chicken coop with bare feet. You know? The rats in there, all that stuff. Mind blowing. Mind blowing to me. And but they get through it. You know? So he's just really stoked. Hey. No human dung. I get to use cow dung for man's dung, and thou shalt prepare thy thy bread on it. Moreover, he said unto me, son of man, behold, I will break the staff of bread in Jerusalem, and they shall eat bread by weight and with care, and they shall drink water by measure and with consternation. So one of the things the guys at the gym tell you to do is to buy a scale. And you have to weigh your food. You have to weigh your macros. So you're allowed 2,000, 2,500 calories a day, let's say. And you have a gram of protein per pound of body. And the only way you can accomplish that and eat discipline is to measure everything. You've got to put it on the scale and measure it. Well, I can have this much, this, this much of that. And that's how disciplined they are. And that's the same thing here is that you're not going to just be able to binge and eat till your belly is full. You're going to have to measure and weigh out your food. So if you're in a boat and you're just drifting out at sea, you know, catch a fish, eat a seagull, you got no food left, whatever those rations are, the amount of water you have, you get one sip, you know, one sip of the water in the desert, one sip boat there. And then, lo and behold, one of the guys dies. And pretty soon, you're killing yourself. You're hating yourself because now you're eating your buddy, you know, to try and stay alive. I read about Stalingrad when the Germans were putting a siege upon Stalingrad in Russia. And the guy said that the only people that weren't emaciated thin from the scarcity of food were people that were cannibalistic that began to eat other people. And so if you saw somebody that wasn't emaciated, you knew because of the scarcity of food, what they were doing. So who knows what we would do. I mean, I know when food gets scarce, you guys are all gonna share food with me. Right? It's not gonna be every man for himself. Right? I'll give you the barley. We're gonna share. Right? I'll give you the barley. Okay. Hopefully, we as Christians are a little different than the world. Neither came abominable flesh till cow dung. Moreover, he said unto me, son of man, behold, I will break the staff of bread. Food scarcity. Why are the globalists so intent upon creating food scarcity? To control. I mean, they're actually destroying when we say they, it's really the devil destroying food production in America and around the world, The Netherlands, everywhere. They're killing cows, they're killing chickens, They're just genocide them, lying through their teeth, wiping out food production, putting small farmers out of business, seizing the land, corporate farming, the poor Amish guys being invaded because they got raw milk and stuff like that. And so what was Kissinger's quote? So you know the strategy of your enemy. Well, there's three things. If you control food, you control the people. If you control energy, oil, you control nations. If you control the currency, you control the world. So remember how we talked about when they get to a digital currency, it's game over? The tyranny is so great that you can't buy or sell without approval from the banks. And you're watching it already. Banks removed themselves from people. No. We we don't want you to be here anymore. So food is a huge thing to control the people. So Stalin knew that. He starved his own people, 20,000,000 of his own people. And they use food as a weapon, as leverage. And if you read Steve Quayle and a lot of these guys, when you hear of, hey, we found something wrong with the chicken at Costco and we're going to have to get rid of it all. That's a bold faced lie. That's what's happened there is the government stepped in for their bunkers and they took all the chicken that Costco had. They're not destroying it. They're taking it for themselves. And there are deep underground military bunkers all over America. So big that you can drive a semi truck into it to deliver food and turn around and come back out and the whole thing. Know? Enormous amount of Bill Gates and the guys, I remember what's called heirloom seeds. You know how you have genetically modified seeds, GMOs, destroying Betty is a farmer. You have to have good seed, right? So they take heirloom seeds and they put them in what's called seed vaults. So that in the future, any kind of food production can be the type of food that God made, natural heirloom seeds. They know how important that is, but they want us to eat genetically modified. Now Kathy and I, when we try to buy an apple, melons are super hard, cantaloupes, watermelon. You take that bite into it and it tastes like insecticide. It tastes like medicine. It tastes like glyphosate or something. And it's like, ugh. And it's not just on the outside that you already washed, it's in the apple, in it, you know? And it's horrible. So when you go to Costco or Traders or wherever you go, you finally get she'll say, Rick, I got some really good cherries. They taste like cherries. Because the previous batch, you bite into them, oh, what's wrong with that? You know, it tastes like bug spray, you know, all over it. They can genetically alter it too. They can have seeds that can handle right. But I mean, they'll alter them so that they can handle, like for instance, they can grow around weeds and the weeds don't affect them. So glyphosate already in the seed. All right. So here we go. Food. Scarcity of food. Time of famine. Pestilence. Who wants to read Psalm one hundred and five sixteen? It's about Joseph. You know? Joseph knew there'd be a famine. Hundred and five sixteen? Yep. And somebody else, Matthew five verse six. I'll break the staff of bread in Jerusalem, and they shall eat bread by weight and with the care, and they shall drink water by measure and with consternation, that they may lack bread and water and be dismayed one with another and pine away in their iniquity. Wow. Alright. Go ahead. Psalms a hundred and five sixteen. Moreover, he called for a famine upon the land. He broke the whole staff of bread. Whole staff of bread with with around Egypt. Jacob with the 70 went down. They were all starving. God caused the famine. A couple of times, God allowed a famine with Abraham and Sarah. And rather than walking by faith, trusting in God, Abraham went down into Egypt. Shouldn't have done that. And another time, a test for Abram is with Abimelech, the Philistine area. He went to get help from them. And so both times, God was allowing a trial of famine. To lose your job, it's a time of famine. Economy crashes, a time of famine. There's not as much abundance. And it's a test of whether we're going to trust in God or you're going to go down into FEMA camp to get government cheese. And maybe live in a van down by the river with government cheese. So they're going to draw you in the FEMA camps with the promise of food and you better be prepared and better be ready. Now Matthew five:six. Blessed blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness for they shall be filled. So how does God use hunger? Amen. So do you have a spiritual hunger for the word of God? God uses hunger. So if if there's a famine on the land for the word of God and you have an appetite and affinity and desire for the word of God, God could use that hunger for his word to cause you to move. Have any of you ever decided to move somewhere? And when you were deciding to move, is the first thing that you researched, is there a church that teaches the bible there? Wasn't that the first thing you checked out? It's the last That should be the first thing. Because if you are healthy spiritually and you move somewhere where there's a famine in the land for the word of God, you're going to dry It's going to affect your marriage, affect everything. Everything. So when you a church alive is worth the drive. Right, you guys? Lee and Nancy are far away. So anyway, I I personally watch how the Lord uses hunger to draw us closer to himself in that blessed are they that hunger for they shall be filled. Right? You hunger and thirst for righteousness. God's putting that hunger within you. You're gonna seek him. You're gonna seek for righteousness. But if that hunger is not there, one of the things that's worse than outright rebellion is what? Indifference. Indifference. You could take it or leave it. Jesus said, I'd rather you're hot or cold. But if you're indifferent, if you're lukewarm, you make me sick. You're insipid. And so he's trying to motivate people and get people excited about the things of the spirit and the people are just indifferent. Take it or leave it. We don't care. We don't care. And but it's exciting when you're around a group of people that are hungry and thirsting for righteousness. Now typically what happens in a cycle of nations, cycle of people, is when you come through a time of destruction, your nation's been destroyed or the great depression or something's taken away from you. And you come through it and now you have to rebuild. That next generation hungers. They hunger. There's a drive in them to work and provide and to build a church and have a meeting place because it was taken from them. They weren't allowed to meet. They weren't allowed to have a bible. They weren't allowed to sing. And when they finally have the freedom, when they finally break through, and it's a season of freedom now, now they prioritize and put the Lord first and then revival breaks out. And then the next generation just takes it for granted. They don't appreciate all the blood, sweat and tears, the sacrifice that went into providing for that generation. And they just take it for granted. And then the next cycle is that of apostasy and turning away from God because they don't value the things of the spirit. And so the cycle repeats itself, goes into bondage and tyranny and such. And then you come children of Israel come out of it, four hundred and thirty years there with the book of Judges. And so I like to be a part of the group that appreciates the things of the spirit. Caleb and Joshua going into the promised land with that new generation, that mixed multitude. There's nothing you can do with that mixed multitude. God's just gonna let their corpses drop with that new generation of people. So you can't put new wine into an old wineskin. Right? That old wineskin, they don't have a desire for it. They don't have a desire to do the things of the spirit. So I like when the Lord brings us people who are hungry for the word of God. And they tell me, we've been searching for a church that teaches the Bible, and we can't find one. And they're hungry for the word of God. It's not an optional thing for them. It's a must. It's an absolute. We have to find a church that teaches the Bible. And then I say, Well, I think you belong here. Think you found the right place. But if they don't have a desire for the word of God, I'm not going to accommodate them just to keep them. Right? This isn't the right church for you. Alright, well, let's pray. Father, thank you for tonight. Thank you that we didn't get bit by any mosquitoes. Thank you, Lord, that we didn't have to have grilled cheese sandwiches with Ezekiel, cook cooking style and all that. And thank you for the way we cook. Thank you that we can eat and the hygiene and the purity and the blessing of all the nice sweets and all the stuff here. Lord, we have such a huge abundance in America. And Lord, I'm reminded when the African children's choir came to our house, and Lord, they were so fascinated by a bowl of fruit, the young girls, because as they came from Africa, they hadn't seen that before. And when we went into the grocery store, they were blown away at all the food in there. So Lord, I pray that we'd never be ungrateful and lose sight of just how incredibly blessed we are in America. And bless the churches, Lord. May the churches be a place that feed your people, the pure word of God. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.
