Alright. Here we are in Lamentations chapter four, and I'm lamenting. I'm lamenting the day I was born. Job cursed the day he was born. He cursed the day he was born. He said the day of his death is better than the day of his birth. Alright. Let's pray. Father, we come before you, Lord, and we thank you that we can meet here at Robin Vicks and be able to study your word and worship you and fellowship and pray and have a meal together. And, Lord, we ask that you'd be our teacher now, that you open the scriptures to our understanding and help us to learn that what you're wanting us to learn, Lord, and come to know you to a greater measure, your tremendous love for us, Lord. So bless, we pray in Jesus' name. Amen. Amen. Amen. Alright. So in verses one through 11, we're gonna have a contrast before and after the siege. And so Jeremiah's the siege has it's done its work. May, Babylonians destroyed Jerusalem, and so Jeremiah is lamenting and describing to us on the ground what it's like, but he's also reminiscing. He's looking back and creating the contrast of what it once was. And I we have a reference point we call normal, our normalcy bias of what we think, you know, American where we live and everything is. If we ever went through a cataclysmic time, we'd be looking back saying, guy, I remember when things used to be like this, you know, and now they're this way. And so that's what Jeremiah is describing. So how has the gold become dim? How has the most fine gold changed? The stones of the sanctuary are poured out in the top of every street. So it's estimated that it was over be over over $30,000,000,000 to build the temple today. And so the gold that was in the temple, it's it's gone. It's all over the street or whatever the Babylonians have taken it and all. So that which was valuable is no longer there, temple being destroyed. And and he says, the precious sons of Zion comparable to fine gold. So now you have the nobles, you have the people that were the upper echelon and who were kinda kinda like they're precious. They're like Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach, Medigo would be in that in that group in that they've been exiled. They've been taken to Babylon, taken as captives to Babylon. So that sort of nobility, they're now worthless and they're thrown out. So they're once important people. They're once voted the most likely to succeed and things like that. And now they're they're just like they're they're like anybody else. He says they're esteemed they they are esteemed as earthen pitchers. So they had a a value like a very valuable like gold, rubies, precious things. Now they're the price of them is just like a a a pitcher that you take from clay and fashion is just a vase of a dollar a dozen and the work of the hands of the potter. And so you have you and I are the Lord's workmanship. He's the potter with the clay, and he takes from the dust of the ground. He makes Adam, then he takes from the ribbon, brings forth Eve. And then Paul talks about how we're earthen vessels, and what makes us valuable is what? Jesus. Jesus? How how's that? He us. On the cross. That he purchased us? We're valuable because he created us. Because he's inside of us. We it. We rendered it. He's inside of us. He's inside of that earthen vessel. Right? So all the above. Everything you said is true. But we're we're clay pots filled with the Holy Spirit. And because we're the temple of the Holy Spirit, singularly and also plural, the church, there's a great value placed upon us. Our redemption, blood bought, And so just earthen pictures, work of the hands of the potter. We're the potter. He's the clay. We're his poema, his work of art. And he wants to make you and I fashion you and I as vessels of honor. As we talked about before, Rob's ships that he has here, these are vessels of honor. And the Lord wants to fashion you and I to put on display trophies of his grace. And he says even the sea monsters dry out the beast drought the breast. They they nurse their young. The their young ones, so not the beast. They draw out their breast to nurse their young ones. The daughter of my people has become cruel like the ostriches in the wilderness. And so the even even, you know, a beast, a sea monster nurses their young, and the daughter of my people, they're unable to nurse their young, unwilling. So they're they come to a place of being heartless, and then he likens like a cruel cruel, like the ostrich ostriches in the wilderness. So what are the ostriches known for? Sticking their head in his hand. Leaving their heads, Barry. They're mean to their little ones. They're Me. Yeah. Sticking their head in his hand. But this also means that there's real sea monsters. I guess so. What what would you the Loch Ness monster? Yeah. You ever seen a 4,000 pound sea lion? That's a sea monster. Yeah. Old boy on your boat. A whale. You read the book of Job, the I do. The behemoth? But see, they knew that was a whale. Right? Who's that? Or not Joe. Jonah. But Jonah. They knew that was a whale. So whales aren't sea monsters. This is a sea monster. What it says. Yeah. You're not drinking again, are you? As long as it's here, okay. Alright. I'm not sorry. I know it's It's okay. It's alright. I get it every day. Alright. They nurse their young ones for the daughter of my people has become cruel like the ostriches in the wilderness. So apparently, the ostriches in the wilderness, they'll just leave the eggs of the mother in the sand. Mhmm. For Job thirty nine fourteen through 18 describes that. They'll just walk away and crocodile, anything come along and grab those, you know, those eggs and eat those eggs. They're not gonna protect the eggs. Like, maybe what what would we describe an eagle? What would she do with her eggs? They nurse them. They bring back stuff. They're so high up there. Nobody's gonna get their eggs. Right? In the nest. Right? Ready to knock them out. Right. Can anybody get up at the nest where the where the, you know, where the eagle is? No. But the ostrich, the mommy ostrich, her place of is right there in the sand for anybody to walk on or or grab hold of, and she forgets about them and walks away. So that's what she's saying. The the women, the mothers have become very cruel and just forget about, you know, being mothers and not protecting their young ones anymore. So the darkness within is is exposed and in a time of famine. And we can can act so nice. We put on our best faces at bible study tonight. And when things are going our way, we're all nice. But if things go bad, if we don't have enough food one day, we're gonna see a whole different side of people in America and all over the world in the time of famine. So the tongue of the nursing child clings to the roof of his mouth for thirst. So look at my daughter, Britney, all these little babies, and you reach a place where mommy can't produce any milk because mommy's not eating. And so the little baby's famished and starving. And so the roof of his mouth for thirst, the young children ask bread and no man breaketh it unto them. So there's a disregard for the smallest, the most innocent, the most needy in society, a disregard for small children, the men. It's every man for himself. Incredible selfishness has taken place. They did feed delicately are desolate in the streets. They that were brought up in scarlet embrace dung Hills. So this would this would be the Bill Gates and these guys, the George Soros, the one percenters. There's a day of day of reckoning and the invading force. The Babylonians don't care about how much money they have or what kind of clothes they once wore or what kind of businesses or anything they have. They're just prisoners of war, and and they're they're experiencing the the breakdown of society. For the punishment of the iniquity of the daughters of my people is greater than the punishment of the sin of Sodom that was overthrown as in a moment with no hands laid laid on her. So how would you interpret that? What what is the difference between the way those in Judah are suffering and the way that those in Sodom and Gomorrah suffered? Wasn't it, like, instant? Yeah. They got in Instant? I hear them in there? Yeah. So this is this is a more long drawn out torturous form of of death. Sodom and Gomorrah, as Sheryl said, was as in a moment. So that's why when when we see that decline in our country and we hear the war drums, war, war, war, war, war, Where's the number one target for our enemies to hit? Norfolk, Virginia? Mhmm. Is that it? In our bases. Number one? Number two, I've been told is banger. Banger. So that's my prayer. Lord, hit Banger with a big nuke and take us all home. Right? That'd be so sweet. Right? Rapture or or a nuke here in Bremerton. That's gotta be the only reason he's put me here. Right? Because I've been tortured long enough. So, Lord, just take me out of my misery. Let a nuke hit, banger, and we all go home. So they're they're experiencing a long drawn out kind of way of dying. Personally, some of us have loved ones that have had cancer, it's long and it's drawn out, and it's just torturous to watch them. And whereas a heart attack may take somebody instantly, whereas cancer, it may be eighteen months. You watch the person go, eighteen months, be a MACI. My best friend Andy, that's what happened to him. And over the course of eighteen months, he became like a skeleton. Three years and three months with my wife. Is that right? Yeah. Just terrible to watch. So brutal. You're quite the caregiver to help her. Alright. So so no hands laid on her, fire and brimstone. And her nobles were purer than snow. They were whiter than milk. They were more ruddy in body than rubies. Their polishing was of sapphire. So these are the are the people that don't get sunburns. They don't go outside and have dark skin. For them, one of the means of conveying to people how important they are is that they're lily white. Their faces are lily white. Means they didn't have to work in an agricultural society out in the sun. Right? So they they're privileged, and we would say that they're polished polished like rubies. Before I became a Christian, there was a magazine I used to I used to get to try and figure out fashion, and it was called GQ, Gentleman's Quarterly. So we say today, we we say, oh, he's GQ. Here he's manscaped. You know? And, typically, the gay guys are really manscaped, and they're polished. And, you know, they I don't know why it is, but but then there's the guys that have the dad bodies. They don't care anymore. And so maybe Hollywood, you'd see it. The the actors, the actresses, the way they have to always be on. So their visage is blacker than a coal. They're not known in the streets. Their skin clings to their bones. It has withered. It has become like a stick. So if we watch some of the movies in regard to the concentration camps where we see people that have been emaciated, the Jews particularly, and their skin and bones. Just horrible, horrible images of starvation that they've gone through. They who are slain with the sword are better than they who are slain with hunger. For these pine away stricken through for lack of fruits of the field. So that of a slow death, much better in Jeremiah's estimation that the sword come and and take you out like right now rather than go through the the process of a starvation. Very, very slow death, very painful way to die. And the psalmist says, I've never seen the righteous forsaken nor a seed begging bread. And so we put our confidence in the Lord that he's gonna make a way for us to get through whatever times are ahead. So Isaiah fifty seven one. Somebody wanna read that? Isaiah fifty seven one is one that I like to every time I hear of a Christian dying, I like to remind people of Isaiah fifty seven one because I'm an optimist. Okay? The righteous perish and no man layeth it to heart and merciful. Men are taken away, none considering that the righteous is taken away from the evil to come. So I see, like, pastor Chuck died, you know, seven years ago or Jeff Johnson recently passed away or Ray Bentley or Steve Mays. A lot of these guys serve the Lord. Pastor Ralph Reese's wife died last week, Sharon Reese of of cancer. So a lot of them lived in a time of, you know, great prosperity and wonderful ministries and a lot of people being saved and a lot of the blessings and all. And and they're with Jesus now. And if things wax worse, if America falls apart, these people didn't live long enough to have to see America fall apart and watch the world collapse. So I didn't I wasn't living during World War two, and I didn't have to see all that happened over in Europe and in Japan and and at Pearl Harbor insulated, protected from all that because of men and women who served to make sure it didn't get here on our shores. But now we're living in the time where our own government is being treasonous and allowing the enemy in. And who knows what's gonna happen? We don't have a reference of of norm normalcy in regard to that. Every now and then, Steve Quell will have a guy on. I forget his name, but Jim will Jim will say his name. But he tries to educate people what it was like to be in Bosnia when Bosnia was hit. And you go from normalcy to the Clinton administration allowing the Serb Serbians, Bosnians, all them to go at it and what it was like to face snipers, to try and get out of your house, what your neighbors were like, different totally different ballgame in a time of of warfare. And so he tries to educate people on possibly, we would call it being wise as serpents to understand what happens in a time of war, the desperateness of people and how personalities change and people people change. The hands of the tender hearted women have boiled their own children. They were their food in the destruction of the daughter of my people. So they go from being tenderhearted mothers. Rob and Vicky went were a part of a baby shower. Right? Mhmm. And when you go to a baby shower, it would never enter into your mind that one day you're gonna eat that child. Can anybody imagine anything like that? That you would boil your infant child so that you could live, you as a mother, so that you could live. Aren't there instances of There are instances of Wow. That sounds radical. Yeah. I can hear you in there now. She'll adjust it. So can a mother who doesn't have So can a mother who doesn't have She'll turn it down. Doesn't even really sound like an echo. There's a little delay. Yeah. K. Anyway Just start saying echo. No. The hands of the I'm just afraid I'm gonna do something else wrong, and they're gonna come grab this thing or tell me to shut up. Or what is it? What is it? Are we okay? Are we okay? Reach it, sir. I'm gonna Alright. Have a second. Are you okay? I'm okay. Are you okay? There's latency. Forget it. I'm okay. Technical difficulties. So this is a pretty serious verse. The hands of the tender hearted women have boiled their own children. They were their food in the destruction of the daughter of my people. Do I need to repeat that? It's the end of the world. That's what I know. About three times. I think we need to go over this again. Well, think I'm so sad. The Lord has accomplished his fury. So who's bringing it? The Lord's bringing it. Yeah. When it talks about his fury, it's his wrath. God's bringing his wrath upon his own people because they, over a long period of time, exhibited rebellion, not sin, rebellion. And gay pride month is a display of rebellion against God. It's not sinning, it's premeditated rebellion against God in your face, And then it's also an aggressive attempt to get everybody else to comply and tolerate and mimic and say certain things that would show acceptance of aberrant, you know, wickedness. And so the normalization of of homosexuality, pedophilia, LBGT, they stole our flag from Noah, and they wanna steal everything else. And so I would I would say, yeah, God loves them, but man's gonna sow what he you know, he's gonna reap what he sows. You sow to the flesh, you're gonna reap corruption. Sow to the wind, you're gonna reap the whirlwind. And God's not mocked, whatsoever man sows, that shall he also reap. So the Lord has accomplished his his fury. He has poured out his fierce anger, and he has kindled the fire in Zion and has devoured its foundation. So judged by fire, and the Lord's accomplished it. And and so now we see the cause of the siege. Why did it happen in verses 12 through 20? Jeremiah is gonna let us know why did this have to happen. The kings of the earth and all the inhabitants of the world would not have believed that the adversary and the enemy should have entered into the gates of Jerusalem. So there'd be the shock and the awe, like, maybe like a Belteshazzar in Daniel chapter five. They thought it was impregnable, that there's no way that the Medes and the Persians could breach their secure walls and all. And as in a moment, one night, there's Cyrus and Darius and Belteshazzar, great grandson of Nebuchadnezzar dies that evening. And so for the sins of her prophets and the iniquities of the priests that have shed blood of the just in the midst of her. And so what's the cause? The cause is corrupt leaders. Corrupt leadership from the prophets. Judgment begins at the house of God. So the first area of weakness is found in the church today in the pulpits where where the word of God won't be taught and where the leadership don't aspire or desire to live holy lives. And so very corrupt. That shed the blood of the just in the midst of her. And so a lot of the dark ages in the Catholic church and many of the churches in the name of, you know, in in Judaism, in the name of God. Jesus said they're gonna they're gonna persecute you and murder you thinking they do God's service. They're not doing God's service. They're they're not serving the true living God. In John eight, Jesus let the religious leaders know that their father was the devil, and the deeds of their their father they would do. And he was a liar, and he was a murderer from the beginning. So Jesus spoke real clear, real plain. He used real words that have meaning, and he got his point across. He wasn't concerned about being liked or being tolerant. He let the guys know that I see who you are, and this is who you are. So they're murderers. And from the blood of Abel all the way forward, you know, all the prophets, Jesus, which which of the prophets, you know, have not your fathers, you know, killed to the religious leaders? So to be a prophet means that it's it's not a rare thing. It's a common thing for a prophet to be killed. Paul told Timothy, All they that live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. And if you're going to stand up for truth, John the Baptist was the last of the Old Testament prophets. How did he die? He died because he told the truth. And they murdered him. So they have wandered like blind men in the streets. The blind leading the blind. Where do they wind up? In the ditch. In In the ditch. Blind leading the blind. So leadership, we need leadership. How are we going to fix that which is broke? And when you see guys like Biden and Obama and Trump gonna run against Michael Obama, Michael Mhmm. Whatever. And, you know, you you see the communist methodology of defaming, demoralizing, letting the whole world know that America is not what it once was. And so on the stage, the world stage, we have these leaders that are put in place there that erodes the confidence that the world once had in the office of the presidency and in our military and our dollar and our way of life. And it's tragic to watch to watch this take place. So they they've polluted themselves with blood. So they're defiled. They're cowards so that men could not touch their garments. So the leadership, the priests, the prophets are so filthy, so corrupt. They're like lepers and completely defiled. They cried unto them, depart unclean, depart, depart, touch not. When they fled away and wandered, they said among among the nations, they shall no more sojourn there. So the blood is crying out from the ground, from the martyrs, the people that they've killed, that they're responsible for killing. And sometimes you'll see what's called the useful idiots, where they'll turn on their own people, their own country, and you'll see people turn us in, squeal, that sort of thing. And they think that the communists are gonna give them, you know, a great place to live and all that sort of thing. The communists call them the useful idiots. They use them till a point in time that they execute them all because if you're not loyal to your own family, your own people, you you can't be trusted by communists. So the useful idiots. And they're kicked out. Verse 16, the anger of the Lord has divided them. He will no longer regard them. They respected not the persons of the priests. They favored not the elders. So they led the people into sin. The leadership, the godly what's supposed to be godly, the prophets and the priests, instead of being like Daniel, instead of being like Jeremiah, these false prophets, these priests led the people into sin. And that sin permeates like a cancer, like leaven, it leavens the whole lump. And over forty years of Jeremiah, you know, a generation, Jeremiah trying to call them to repentance, it so permeates the whole part of the society that that it becomes a corrupted wall that can't stand on its own, just falls over. And so when we get to Ezekiel, you'll see an analogy and a picture of mortar that they're using, and they're using mortar that can't hold up. So the wall, the whole thing's collapsing. They're trying to whitewash the outside to make it look like it's clean and good, but Jesus said you do. You're like whitewashed sepulchers, you know, inwardly, you're full of dead men's bones, speaking of the corruption there. But many times, try to clean the outside and make it look good. And a lot of times, the most evil among us, the pedophiles, they'll be a part of, you know, a philanthropic group or a nonprofit that is the complete opposite of being pedophiles. They'll try and put a front out there that they're trying to help with human trafficking when in actuality or like they're part of child protective services. And within child protective services, you'll find some of the most heinous, wicked, evil people trafficking children through the system. But on the outside, there's supposedly their job is to help children that are in jeopardy. And so the ones that were entrusted, very easy to deceive us, to disarm us, to look to somebody with a a collar on or whatever it may be. Hey. I'm a pastor. And a lot of times, I'm embarrassed to call myself a pastor or it's getting to the point where we're embarrassed to even admit that we're Christians if they're gonna lump us in with all the rest of them. And that's the view that people have of who we are. It's very it's very sad. As for us, our eyes as yet fail for our vain help and our watching, we have watched for a nation that could not save us. So now you're looking for alliances. Now you're looking for God's send to Jeremiah saying you're gonna be judged, but instead they're looking for Egypt to help them. They're looking for the Assyrians to help them. And they kept looking, looking, looking, and unfortunately, those alliances that they made failed. They weren't able to overcome the judgment that got brought through the Babylonians. They hunt our steps that we cannot go in our streets. Your end is near. Our days are fulfilled for our end has come. So you think in terms of to you know, they're hunting their steps here. You get a tracker out there. They gotta track their steps. They're trying to sneak out the gate. They're trying to get away. Zedekiah, he tried to sneak away, and they're you know, they hunted them down and caught them before they got over the Jordan. In our day and age, facial recognition, all the listening, everything we're talking about being listened, cataloged. Maybe you want a I need a new set of earrings, you know. And when I get done here, all over my Facebook thing will be earrings, you know, advertisements about so everything is everything is being watched and compiled, the NSA and all, the artificial intelligence, the all of it. That's why I've always thought that I can't I could never see the strategy of using an EMP. Why is that? They're ruining their own surveillance. Yeah. Why would they why would they they love their grid. They love their power of watching and listening to everything we do. I've always thought that if if we EMP'd got EMP'd, that that'd be great for us. Yep. We'll have more. Because we'll have gardens. We'll have gardens. We'll have food. We'll we'll be able to provide some time. I mean, we'll just live like the Amish, right, if they did that? And we'll survive. But if they continue to force people into smart cities and increase the level of tyranny against us with the technology. I mean, even your your coin, even your money, every you know, if they get to the central bank digital currency, everything we do is gonna be tracked and traced. And so that's what he's saying here. We've been tracked and traced. They follow our every step. There's no freedom anymore. And they hunt us down. There's no hope. Mhmm. Our end is near. Our days are fulfilled for our end is come. So there's no hope. Our persecutors are swifter than the eagles of the heavens. They pursued us upon the mountains. They laid wait for us in the wilderness, and so there was no escape. I've been told several times that eventually, America will have borders and that we will have walls built. To keep them in? To keep us in. No escape. No escape. Yep. And you look at some of the FEMA camps and stuff or the camps they set up, the barbed wire is always, you know, pointed inward. Yep. Can't get out. Right? So it's a it's a mousetrap. So the persecutor is swift. They have swift horses and, you're feeble. You don't have enough food. You don't have enough stamina. And even if you do get past the wall, they're they're so swift. They're so quick, to hunt us down. The breach of our nostrils, the anointed the breath of our nostrils, the anointed of the Lord was taken in their pits. So this is speaking of king Zedekiah. He tried to get away and so the anointed of the Lord, king Zedekiah, our own king, was taken in their pits of whom we said, under his his shadow, we shall live among the among the nations. So Zedekiah was helpless to protect. His sons were executed right before his eyes, over 20 of them, and then his eyes were plucked out. He was made blind. Rejoice and be glad, oh daughter of Edom. Edom is is from Esau and that dwells in the land of Uz. The cup also shall pass through unto thee. Thou shall be drunk and shall make thyself naked. So they're calling for vindication because those of Moab and Edom and all were making fun of of the Israelites. It was a bitter cup. And and so Jeremiah is talking about where they're going to reap what they've sown in in kinda mocking them. So you got Jacob, you got Esau, and Jacob have I loved, Esau have I hated. So you've got these the Edomites that have a hatred toward toward Israel that's that's long standing, been happening for a long time. And Jeremiah's letting them know that one day they're going to they're also going to experience this sort of judgment. So see, Psalm a 137. Where's the land of Oz? You gotta watch the Wizard of Oz and Oh, I hear it. And then you'll you'll get it. In the day of Jerusalem, who said, raise it raise it even to the foundation thereof, oh daughter of Babylon, who art to be destroyed. Happy shall they be that rewards thee as thou has served us. Happy shall be that taketh and dashes the little ones against the stone. So this Psalm a 137 reminded, crying out to God to judge the Edomites the way they were saying, raise it, raise it. They were cheering that the Babylonians would destroy it. And then also, o daughter of Babylon, you're to be destroyed. So the whole world's gonna look on, Babylon in the future in Revelation seventeen and eighteen, and people are gonna weep. They're gonna weep when they see the city go down, you know, up in smoke as in a moment and Babylon the Great. And so Now in nine, it says, shall he be that taketh and dashes thy little ones against the stones. Yeah. Is that speaking of the daughters of Babylon? Or is that Well, the it's it's like payback. Like, we had our children. We had to boil and eat them, and you guys were saying raise it, raise it, raise it. And so when it happens to you guys, when they when the when the enemy comes into to your place and destroys you and your children are thrown against the stones, you know, you're gonna Be happy? Paybacks. It's kind of like a payback. It's it's like when you hate somebody and something bad happens to them, then there's this sort of gloating, you know, that finally you got yours. That's not Christ like at all. For us, we're to love our enemies. We're to pray for our enemies. So but it is it is nice when you see, you know, Mussolini strung up or, you know, some sort of justice once in a while. Once in a very, very, very, very seldom happens that these guys, these butchers, these people that have done these things, that they ever see justice, you know, in this life. But in the next, will. They're all gonna answer for it. Can you can you see Bill Gates vaccinating his kids and Yeah. And giving them synthetic meat and treating them the way that he wants everyone else to be treated, you know, if ever that happened in front of him. You know? He's a genius. Yeah. So a call for vindication. Vindicate us. Vengeance is mine, I'll repay, saith the Lord. So we see the the martyrs in Revelation six and seven. They're beneath the throne of God, and they've been martyred, they're crying out for the Lord to vindicate them. How long, O Lord? And and so they're crying out for God to judge the Antichrist and those in the tribulation period that that did that to them. So the punishment of thine iniquity is accomplished, o daughter of Zion. He will no more carry thee away into captivity. He will punish thine iniquity, daughter of Edom. He will uncover thy sins. And so Edom to be destroyed, restoration for Israel, but Edom will be destroyed. And so ultimately, Jeremiah is bringing hope that although although Israel's destroyed this time, May, God has a plan with Cyrus to let him go back and rebuild the temple. God has a plan to send the Messiah. God has a plan to send the Messiah's Messiah a second time, and we're gonna see and we are see we do see Israel in the land, 05/14/1948. But you don't see the Edomites, which would be in the area of Jordan, Southern Jordan, but they don't identify as those at this time period that have been offspring of Esau and that of the Edomites. So another interesting thing is the children of Israel, the remnant is gonna flee to Southern Jordan, their area of Petra, which is which is where the Edomites on their tall cliffs and stuff where they thought they were invincible, but, but they were subdued. So there we have it. That's it for tonight. Any other questions? Any comments? Anything? No. Good. Did we read this chapter, like, a couple months ago when we were doing Jeremiah? Jeremiah? No. Are you sure? No. We did chapter four. Right? No. I Wait. We didn't even read We read a portion of it about the babies being spoiled when we were in the beginning of their life. No. Use it as a reference. Yeah. Yes. But we knocked the whole chapter. Yeah. And next week, chapter five, unless you wanna do it tonight. You wanna do it tonight? Let's it tonight. You wanna do it tonight? Yeah. Yeah. We can do it tonight. Hurry up. Alright. Can you guys pay attention? Alright. I got a cat. Technical. I know. It's the devil. It's the devil. It's the devil. So next week, we can start Ezekiel. Okay. This is a heavy chapter. You guys can handle it? Not gonna whine if we go past 08:00? No. Okay. I'll get you a Trump hanky. So am I waiting for people to get back for part two? That look like it does? Yes. No. That's good. Alright. So here we go. Chapter five. We can never wanna finish earlier. Pastor Rick Bible study. Right? God forbid. We never finish early. So remember, oh lord, what has come upon us, consider and behold our reproach. So the emphasis here is reality set, and there's gonna be an emphasis upon remembering verses one through 15. Don't forget us. Lord, one day restore us. Please restore us. And so they're despised, but they're yearning for the day in the future that the Lord would restore us. Our inheritance has turned over to strangers, our houses to aliens, so they've forfeited everything. So they had a Klaus Schwab that said, you will own nothing and be happy. And be happy. Yep. And there's aliens. Aliens, strangers, foreigners. Not like not like they're trying to get you to see now today. It's just fallen demons, fallen angels. Yeah. No no other planets. It's all bogus. It's a lie. It's a false gospel to give people a false hope that, hey. We if we ruin this planet, we can go to another planet. Right. Colonize another planet. Right. Not aliens in the sense of, like, they're portraying it, but what they call aliens, we call demons, fallen angels. Sea monsters, whales. Sea monsters can just be a whale. It could be Leviathan. It could be behemoth that Job described. It could be a dinosaur. A dinosaur. Dinosaurs lived among the men. Right? Underlining aliens. Pterodactyls that fly overhead, fire breathing dragons. What about the dragons? Do dragons feed their youngs? You know? Okay. So our inheritance is turned over to strangers, our houses to aliens, so forfeited. We are orphans and fatherless. Our mothers are like widows, so we're all alone. Nobody wants to be alone. Right? Not good for man to be alone. That's why we love our church family. Right? Amen. Yes. And not only that, but no matter if you go into a prison cell, you're still not alone because Jesus promised he'll never leave us nor forsake us. Right? Amen. So we'll never be alone. We have drunk our water for money. Our wood is sold unto us. So now we're slaves, and our own resources are being sold back onto us. So why is our government allowing China to buy up all of our farmland? Good question. Are they gonna are they gonna produce food and then sell it back to us? No. Gave them all our manufacturing, all our technology. Now we're going to give them the tangible assets. And that's another thing to Maybe there's copper underground. They want us to be all electric. They're saying we're going to run out of copper. There's enormous amounts of wealth in the ground in America. We have drunk our water for money. Our wood is sold onto us. Our necks are under persecution. We labor and have no rest. So the only reason we keep you alive is to Row 41. Mhmm. You're you're you're laboring to the point of exhaustion and you're slave labor. So if you're allowed to live, you're simply living as a means of slave labor. We have given the hand to the Egyptians and to the Assyrians to be satisfied with bread. So we're subservient to these foreign countries just so so that we could get bread. Our fathers have sinned and are not, and we have borne their iniquities. So now we're treated like criminals because of our fathers, because of our they sold us out to the nations. They sold us out. They they sucked all the wealth that they could. They leveraged everything going into debt. And then they got continued to get loans from from China and other countries, and they gave assets. And the assets were tangible assets, our country. Right? So that's part of the what we see with China. Servants have ruled over us. There is none that does deliver us out of their hand, so there's no justice. The lowest of the low, the dregs of society, the gangs are ruling. We got our bread with the peril of our lives, so we're scavengers. We've become scavengers because of the sword of the wilderness. So there's nomads, there's bandits, there's terrorists. If you go out of the protection of your home, you don't know if you're going to make it back. But you got to get out there, you got to get some food somehow. Our skin was black like as an oven because of the terrible famine. So the malnutrition, they're malnourished, is changing the color of their of their skin. They ravish the women in Zion and the maids in the cities of Judah. So your women are raped by sadistic soldiers. Read some articles on the UN peacekeepers. UN peacekeepers, when they're sent into these countries, this is one of the things they do. They rape and pillage, the women and the people. They're anything but noble and good and and peacekeepers. So princes are hung up by their hands. The faces of the elders were not honored. Oh gosh. I pray for that day that Washington DC, they'd all be hung by their hands. That's not very Christiana. I think I'd help. That's not very Christiana. No, that's justice. Yeah. That's The leaders are judged. Well, you just told us. Yeah. We can't prevent I mean, I I could actually see and this is this is gonna be crazy, but I could see where I don't trust the Chinese, but I could see where Putin, if he were allowed by God to subdue America, that we would have a better future with his leadership than we do with our present leadership. Yeah. That's true. Because our present leadership are demonic. And Putin doesn't have gay pride month. He doesn't have gay pride month. He doesn't have pedophilia. He doesn't have any LGBT baloney. He doesn't have any of this stuff, this wokeism, this crazy stuff that's being introduced in our country. They've gone back from their communism that didn't work to a traditional Russian federation and even to the point of Christianity being legal That's true. Churches and such. You know? Yeah. They changed it. Yeah. They changed it. That. Yeah. They they saw the corruption, and they said, we can't have this anymore. The government themselves did that. It didn't work. It it didn't work. And Didn't work. Doesn't work. And they flushed it all out. Yep. Amazing. It's weird that friends. They're more honorable than us. That's probably why they like him so much. They seem to like who who we are. His people do. Yes. And they they're Russians. You know? It used to be good that we're Americans. We're not even allowed to be Americans anymore. Fly our own flag. We're flying foreign in people's flags. Can you imagine them flying a Chinese flag in Russia? Or a gay pride flag or anybody else's flag, you know? So princes are hung up by their hands, the faces of the elders were not honored, so the leadership was judged. They took the young men to grind, and the children fell under the wood. So even even the younger made in into slaves, Samson, when he was subdued, he was grinding. So you're to be working like animals. How do the people in China work? You know, what kind of work conditions do they have there in China? You even have, you know, organ harvesting in China, your own people. They're so brutal, so wicked that there's a whole industry of organ harvesting of the Chinese people. The elders have ceased from the gate, the young men, from their music. So the elders used to, like Lot used to sit at the city gate, so it's a place of government, a place of city council. So the elders aren't there anymore. And then the young people, they're allowed to be dreamers and go to college and write music and follow the Beatles or become the Beatles. So their young men are unable to sing anymore. Psalm 9five 12 talks about no joyous music. So there's a sadness of mourning. They're writing mourning songs, songs of mourning, songs of of unhappiness, and no longer the joyous festivals. Think of the Jews, the festivals they have when they're dancing and the way that they worship the Lord, all that's gone. They're told not to sing. They get to sing taken away from told they can't sing. And so they're really sad. The joy of our heart has ceased. Our dance has turned into mourning. So there's more of a funeral attitude, a deadness that's permeated the culture. The crown has fallen from our head. Woe unto us that we have sinned. So their faces are down. They're filled with shame. The temporary glory of man has ceased. For this, our heart is faint. For these things, our eyes are dim. So they're they're filled with tears. Their eyes are filled with tears. It's affecting their vision and all. Their hearts are faint. We're told that during the tribulation period that men's hearts would fail them for fear. So anxiety, there would be a perplexity. There would be such great fear that men's hearts would fail them during the tribulation period. Jesus said it's a time that the world's never seen before nor will ever see again. For this our heart is faint, for these things our eyes are dim because of the Mountain Of Zion, which is desolate, the foxes walk upon it. So when years ago when Detroit went in into a blighted condition, animals, wild animals would return to the cities of Detroit that was once, you know, a manufacturing hub of all sorts of cars and such, you know, Chrysler, Ford, Chevrolet, all of them out of Ford, the industry that was there. And when it died, when the industry was sent to China, Ford had to remake itself and they said that wild animals began to return to the, you know, the parts of Detroit that used to be so busy as a city. And so desolate foxes are walking in upon Jerusalem. The wild animals are coming back into the city because the city is no longer vibrant with tons of people and everything. So thou, O Lord, remain forever, thy throne from generation to generation. So he's coming back to the sovereignty of God, that God is God is sovereign and reminding himself that God's on the throne, that none of this, you know, can happen without God allowing it. So we see the emphasis upon remembering verses one through 15. Verse 16, there's an emphasis upon repentance, one to us that we have sinned. And verses 17 through 19, an emphasis upon God is in control. For this our heart is faint, for those things our eyes are dim because of the Mountain Of Zion which is desolate, the foxes walk upon it. Thou, O Lord, remains forever, thy throne from generation to generation. And then verse twenty and twenty one, an emphasis upon renewal, that God would renew us. Why does thou forget us forever and forsake us for so long a time? And so a cry to act now. Sometimes we have to wait for a season of of renewal. We want the Lord to act now. We're impatient. Turn turn thou us unto thee, o Lord, and we shall be turned. Renew our days as of old. So a desire here of fellowship. Turn us around a 180 degree turn. Lead the nation to repentance. Do you see any political leaders that'll lead the nation to repentance? Do you see any religious leaders like Franklin Graham or any of them that have the desire to lead the nation under repentance? Turn us around. Our days as of old, so we desire the fellowship. We desire the worship. We desire the sweet times of communion that we once had. But thou has utterly rejected us. Thou art very angry with us. And so a God of love who is faithful to complete the work that he's begun in us according to Philippians one verse six. In Habakkuk three two, the prophet cries out, Lord, in your wrath, remember mercy. Mercy is not getting what we deserve. So now let's look at how to pray when we see destruction coming. How do we pray when we see destruction? So the first part of it is to remember. So who wants to read Revelation two, four, and five? When you see the destruction coming You know, we did 22, 22, 44, 44. Yeah. Sorry, numbers. Yeah. I have it. 66 was in the middle. Really? Yeah. I thought it was 44. Really? Was it '44? Yeah. 2322, '44. '66. Oh. Oh. Darn it. '22, 2025. Steve, are you gonna do it? Yes. That's Revelation two, four, and five. So the church of Ephesus. Right? Yes. Nevertheless, I have some somewhat against thee because thou has left thy first love. Remember, therefore, from whence thou art fallen and repent and do the first works or else I will come unto thee quickly and will remove thy candlestick out of his place except thou repent. So remember, repent, and repeat. Remember, repent, and repeat. Do thy first works. Is the candlestick thy light, the light that he puts in us? Yeah. He's gonna remove his presence. Yeah. He'll remove his presence from us except thou repent. And so Ichabod, the glory of the Lord has departed. So remember verses one through 15. Don't ever forget. We this do in remembrance of me. We partake of communion, lest we forget Gethsemane. We can kind of cruise along in our walk with the Lord and forget the cross, forget what Jesus went through for us. And apparently, these people have forgotten the, you know, the true and living God and they're following idolatrous. They're involved in idolatry. Jeremiah is trying to get away from the idolatry. They won't do it. So what's the solution? Remember where you started. Remember where you've from where you've fallen is what the Lord Jesus has given his recommendation to the church of Ephesus because they left their first love. So you can fall in love with America, you can fall in love with the stuff, fall in love with all the blessings, and forget the blesser. And so the solution is to remember from where you've fallen, come back to your first love, and repent and do your first works. Repeat your first works, which was which was walking by faith, being in love with the Lord. So after you remember, then there's repentance. So verse 16, we have sinned. And and then recognition, verse 17 through 19, God's in control, recognizes sovereignty. All things work together for good for those who love God and are called according to his purpose. And then you want renewal. We want renewal. We wanna be renewed as a a nation. And we're gonna be renewed after the day of the Lord, after the Lord judges the world and the second coming of the Lord. So not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy, he saved us by the washing of regeneration, renewing of the Holy Ghost. And so I hear Thomas Poole out there, that of renewal. So when he says come back and do your first works, there's a renewing of washing, a regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost. So you left your first love, that's the indictment. What's the solution? Remember therefore from where you have fallen. Where you at? Have you forgotten from where you once were? Mhmm. Backsliding is it happens very slow. And and finally, that wake up call, I need to return to where I'd fallen. And so he says, repent and do your first works. So get your Bible out, start to read your Bible again, pray again, attend church, attend bible study, resist evil, so to the spirit, and I will come unto thee quickly. And so you repeat your first works, but if you don't, he's gonna come quickly, remove the candlestick. And if I go to Turkey today, the church of Ephesus is not there. It's gone. Candlestick removed. The witness of Christ is in Turkey. The seven churches are gone. They all eventually faded away. And so there we have it. Post Christian era in Europe, a post Christian era facing America, a much of what we call Christianity today. Rob was real excited about the word very few, very few. Narrow is the way that leads to eternal life and few there be that find it. Only eight people made it into the ark and the fastest growing church is in Iran. God's moving to work in Iran. And the seven Mountains, the 7 Hills, the Christian nationalism, the Bethel stuff, it's all apostasy. The Rick Warren stuff, the three legged stool, it's all apostasy. So these are apostate churches just going through the motions. They have no power, no power to stem the tide of corruption that's taking place. Instead, they're delusional, and they're raising up their champion, the Donald with his own bible, and they think that they're going to take the country back. And and then Jesus will return. Amen. Hallelujah. No. That's what they think. Oh. They think that they're gonna usher in Yeah. They're gonna usher in the return of Christ after they take control of these seven hills. And what are the seven hills? Seven areas of influence, seven mountains? Yeah. Are She's gonna pull it up. The schools. Education, government, the church, business. I said government already, didn't I? So I would say rather than seven hills, I would say there's just there's the throne of God. Just return to Jesus. Let him sort it all out. But just call the nation to repentance. Return to Jesus. Return to your first love, and and let him fight for you. Let him sort it out. So it's family, religion, education, media, arts, and entertainment, business, and government. Alright. We're gonna say that. Repeat that. Family. Family. So wait a second. They want to reestablish the family? Like Putin is doing in Russia? Redefine the family. I don't know. No Come back to the traditional definition of what a family is? I guess. I don't know what they wanna do. I can't eat dinner together. What's the second one? Religion. So religion what a of a form? We're in a reform religion? We have freedom religion. They're gonna have all religions together in in unification. Not in religion. Wow. Okay. Then what's the next one? Education. Grab hold of education again. They already got that. Yeah. No. The Christians wanna grab hold. Yeah. This Christian nationalists wanna take control Yeah. Of the board of education. Yeah. Yeah. The seven mountains are they the the church wants to take control of those seven elements of humanity. Right. And they want to have a full influence. And once they have full influence, that there's Christians in government, there's Christians on school boards, there's Christian families that worship God. They want all of the once they hit achieve all of that, then they're making the way for Christ's return. Christ will be, like, happy. They're like, hey. Good job. Cleaning up the world. Understand. Getting it ready for that. So family? So religion. Religion. Order education. Media. So grab hold of the media and no more of the fake news. They're gonna control all the information. What else? Arts and entertainment. So no more pornography. No more smut. No more bad stuff. Business. Business. Lots of Christian business owners. K. We're on the executive boards. Yeah. That's what they want. And government. And be in the government. Who's that? Those are the Yeah. What have they been smoking? That's right. What have they been smoking? They have a lot of work. They're smoking your gummies. What have they been smoking? Only way any of that's gonna happen is Jesus. He's the only one Amen. With the power to rule and ring with a rod of righteousness. I was I was gonna say one thing about China. Back in 1966 when Mao was ruling, between 1966 and 1976, ten years, he shut down all the schools and the education and the and universities and millions of people. And they've sent the educated to to labor camps. So they he dummy down everybody for power and control. Yeah. So we were talking about, well, how does, you know, tyrant tyrannical government work is they're gonna get rid of people who are thinkers Yeah. Who have education. Yeah. Yeah. That's that's and then they use an indoctrination, not education. The educator is a threat to them. So they have to indoctrinate the the youth is where they start with and develop a whole new ideology or belief system. And when Tenement Square happened and the college people saw the brutality, it opened their eyes to the emptiness of communism. And so too in the Islamic nations, their eyes are open, the young people's eyes are open to the emptiness of Islam. So that's why there's a a surgence toward Christianity in the Islamic nations. The the mosques are empty. And and so too in in China, prior to Mao coming into power with Rockefeller's support and Nixon and the favored nation status and all, it's totally been created by the globalist bankers. There was a whole lot of evangelism taking place in in China Mhmm. The seeds that were sown. And and you're right. Chiang Kai shek got thrown under the bus like America does. They use these leaders and throw them under the bus. Then they raise up another one, and it's regime changed. And the one child policy, the whole everything is the beta testing for where the globalists wanna go with the beast system. So China's been a beta test. Yeah. Yep. And Mao died in 1976. 1976? That's why they and that they realized that this is such a detriment. It was it was a terrible thing. Like when Marx Stalin died, they so yeah. It's Were they afraid of him? Were they afraid of him? So he rules by the barrel of a gun. All government is ruled, he's quoted as saying, at the end of the barrel of the gun. So you confiscate all the weapons from everybody else, and only they have the weapons. And so alright. Well, let's pray. Lord, thank you that we've enjoyed a very free society and that we've been so incredibly blessed as our lives have been built upon you. And, Lord, we thank you for the the residue. We thank you for the that which remains. But, Lord, we see that it's it's rapidly waning. It's rapidly dissipating the lifestyle, the quality, the the fervor, the zeal that we once had for you, Lord. And there's a tremendous lukewarmness. And Lord, we pray for repentance. We pray that people remember you, they stand upon the truth, and that they would not comply, they would not give in to the lies of the wicked one, that people would resist evil. They'd stand up and expose the evil and stand for righteousness. We pray for a great awakening within the church, Lord, that the church would awaken to our responsibility to be salt and light and not give in to the allurement of money, Lord. The love of money that's corrupting so much of what we call, you know, America within the church and within the hearts and lives of the Christians, Lord. The idolatry of hoping in Donald Trump that he'll get us the money back, get our lives back, and all that. And so, Lord, I pray that there'd be a true spiritual awakening, Lord. Use our lives, Use this little fellowship to bring hope to those who are perishing, Lord, who are filled with anxiety and have lost hope, Lord. Let us give the glorious gospel in Jesus' name. Amen. Amen.
