Lamentations 3
Pastor Rick Beaudry opens with prayer and worship then walks through Lamentations chapter 3, explaining Jeremiah's acrostic structure and his experience of deep affliction while connecting it to Job, David, and Elijah to show how suffering exposes and refines faith. He traces the turn from despair to hope, stressing that God's mercies are new every morning, calling us to repentance, self-examination, and patient waiting on the Lord rather than chasing a false prosperity gospel. Rick shares candid testimony of ministry loss, betrayal, and endurance to encourage faithful perseverance and warns against fear, urging practical care for body and spirit during seasons of depression. The message closes in intercession for the sick and a charge to occupy until Christ returns.
