Live from Bremerton. It's Monday night. We're in Lamentations chapter two, and, let's pray. Father, we come before you. And, we lift up Nancy and Lee. We thank you, that, Nancy's, stable at home and tired. We pray that you give them a good night's sleep and rest, and maybe they're able to watch tonight online, but just be with them. Bless them. Thank you that that they could go and get the attention they need at the ER. Lord, we lift up Gary. We pray that you help him, Lord, deliver him from his problems also. And anybody else that's sick, Lord, just move and work by the power of your Holy Spirit. And we commit this Bible study in your hands. We ask that you be our teacher. We ask that you would inhabit the praise of your people as we worship tonight, Lord, and, just minister unto us to fill us to overflowing with your love in the power of your Holy Spirit that we might be able to minister to others, Lord. In Jesus name we pray. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. My life is in you, Lord. My strength is in you, Lord. My hope is in you, Lord. In you, it's in you, Lord. My life is in you, Lord. Amen. Praise the Lord. Praise the Lord. Amen. I'm forgiven because you were forsaken. Alright. Thank you, Rob. Thank you, Rob. Alright. Lamentations two. The lament of Jeremiah. Jesus wept over the city of Jerusalem when he could see up ahead about forty years in seventy AD that Titus would surround the the city of Jerusalem, the second temple period, and he'd weep and he could see their destruction, that millions of people would needlessly die. And because they knew not the time of their visitation, they'd rejected their messiah. And in this case here, Jeremiah's giving testimony of the city of Jerusalem being destroyed by the Babylonians, the temple being destroyed, the first temple period, Solomon's temple, and it's just carnage, genocide. It's just more than he can bear, and we'll see why he's known as the weeping prophet. Forty years of trying to minister to the people of Judah, and they would not listen. They listen to the false prophets, but they wouldn't listen to Habakkuk or Isaiah or Jeremiah. And and so God finally finally finally finally, when you force God to, he must judge because he's a he's a holy God. And we're gonna see the word anger be used here several times. That's not a sermon that you'll hear in the churches today in America that God is angry. God's angry with the wicked every day, but you will have a lot of sermons on God's love. And love seems to mean, in the culture in which we live in the time they're living, his permissiveness, that he's permissive, that he'll he's gracious and loving, he'll just allow us to do whatever we wanna do with no consequences, no ramifications. And yet we see in Hebrews 12, whom the Lord loves, he chastens and he scourges every son or daughter because he does love us just as you as a parent because you do love your children, you would instruct and teach them. You would discipline them. You would train them in the way they should go. You don't just leave them under themselves and and let them do things that are gonna destroy them destroy themselves. So we're not talking about Iran here. We're not talking about any kind of demonized or Russia or any kind of demonized nation that God would come in and judge. You know? Five out of every six of the invading force in Ezekiel thirty eight and thirty nine is gonna be wiped out in the future here. Damascus is gonna be made a ruinous heap. So we look at those as enemies of Israel. But in this case, this is God's people. This is Judah. July, God allowed the Assyrians to destroy the 10 northern tribes. And now we're at May, and the temple in Jerusalem has been destroyed. So I love how God always gives you and I space for repentance. I love that when I sin, God isn't so quick to drop Cathy and I like he did to Ananias and Sapphira. You know? Boom. You're dropped. That's quick, man. That was quick. You know? The Lord is long suffering, not willing that any would perish, but it all would come to repentance. I like how he was so incredibly patient with Jonah. The word of the lord came to Jonah a second time. I like how he allowed Samson's hair to grow back after Samson blew it. And so I I see the Lord is very, very patient and long suffering. The church of Laodicea in Revelation three verse 20, Jesus is on the outside of his church. He's been kicked out of his church in the last days. Laodicea means people rule. So the churches in the world today in the time of apostasy, every man doing that which is right in his own eyes, which is an existential humanistic philosophy. And Jesus actually kicked out of the church. The word of God's not taught. Prophecy is not taught. And the reason being the people are delusional. They think that they're what, Vicky? Rich, increased with goods. Right? And in need of nothing. The reality is they're what? Naked, poor, blind, miserable, and and that's speaking spiritually. Just because materially in a time of great affluence and prosperity and pleasure. People misconstrue that at times to be God's blessing. But how can it be God's blessing if it's become an idol and you've kicked Jesus out of the church? So the true blessing is being spirit filled. That's the true blessing, being filled with the fruit of the spirit. So so in this case here, we see the Lord's long suffering. And so how has the Lord covered the daughter of Zion with a cloud in his anger and cast down from heaven under the earth the beauty of Israel and remembered not his footstool in the day of his anger? And so the daughter of Zion, we'll see the daughter of Zion, we'll see the daughter of Judah, the virgin daughter all through this chapter. And, so the Lord covered the daughter of Zion with a cloud. What kind of cloud did he cover him with? Anger. Cloud Right? And so there was a time where the Lord filled the temple with a cloud in first Kings chapter eight verses 10 through 12. Somebody wanna read that? And then we're gonna have Robbie since we don't have her much longer. We wanna hear her read Ezekiel chapter 10. But first of all, we wanna look at God filling the temple with the Shekinah glory. The Shekinah glory when when Solomon finished the temple in first Kings chapter eight. We can turn there if you want. First Kings chapter eight. And then Robbie is gonna look ahead and First Kings chapter eight verses ten and eleven. Who wants to read that? Got a good Ten and eleven. I'll do it. K. And it came to pass when the priests were come out of the holy place that the cloud filled the house of the Lord so that the priest could not stand to minister because of the cloud for the glory of the Lord had filled the house of the Lord. But wouldn't that be neat? Mhmm. Wouldn't that be neat to the God's presence so powerful in our midst that they're just faces on the ground now. The TBN kind of people, they you know, the Christian television, they like to counterfeit this with people falling all over the place, you know, touch their forehead, boom, they fall over and everything. I don't buy it. But they like they like to try and counterfeit these these things, but this is real here. It's the Lord saying it. In the Garden Of Gethsemane when Jesus asked who they were looking for, they said Jesus of Nazareth, and he says, I am, and boom, they fall over. Right? People falling over from the the power there. And and Jesus negotiates with them or actually lets them know, take me, leave Peter, leave the rest of the guys alone. And so he's absolutely completely in control even when Judas is betraying him for 30 pieces of silver. He's absolutely completely in control. No man takes his life from him. He willingly lays it down. And so we see the Shekinah glory when Jesus comes in his second coming. He's coming in the cloud, and it's the Shekinah glory. The brightness of his coming, the sword of his mouth is what destroys the antichrist at Basra. And and so here we have a a sad thing in Ezekiel chapter. Now Ezekiel is a a prophet that's been taken to Babylon, and when we finish the book of Lamentations, we'll start the book of Ezekiel. And he has a vision there as he's as he's in captivity, but he's still prophesying. And so Robbie's gonna read chapter 10, which one of the key words is when the the the ark of the covenant was taken the time of Eli the priest, Hophni and Phineas were terrible priests, if you will, and the Philistines grabbed hold of the Ark of the Covenant in the time of the judges. So when that happened, when Eli, who was heavy, he's sitting on a wall, when he heard that, he fell back and broke his neck. And then his daughter-in-law, one of them married Hafony or Phineas, she said the glory of the lord had departed. The glory of the lord as representative of the ark of the covenant, and the Hebrew word is Ichabod. The glory of the lord had departed. So here we'll see Ichabod, the glory of the lord departing from the temple. So Robbie's gonna read up for us. Then I looked and behold in the expanse that was over the heads of the cherubim, something like a sapphire stone in appearance resembling a throne appeared above them. And he spoke to the man clothed in linen and said, enter between the whirling wheels under the cherubim and fill your hands with coals of fire from between the cherubim and scatter them over the city, and he entered in my sight. Now the cherubim were standing on the right side of the temple when the man entered, and the clouds filled the inner court. Then the glory of the Lord went up from the cherub to the threshold of the temple, And the temple was filled with the cloud, and the court was filled with the brightness of the glory of the Lord. Moreover, the sound of the wings of the cherubim was heard as far as the outer court, like the voice of God almighty when he speaks. It came about when he commanded the man clothed in linen saying, take fire from between the whirling wheels from between the cherubim. He entered and stood beside a wheel. Then the cherub stretched out his hand from between the cherubim to the fire, which was between the cherubim, took some and put it into the hands of the one clothed in linen who took it and went out. The cherubim appeared to have the form of a man's hand under their wings. Then I looked, and behold, four wheels beside the cherub, one wheel beside each cherub, and the appearance of the wheel was like the gleam of a tarshish stone. As for their appearance, all four of them had the same likeness as if one wheel were within another wheel. When they moved, they went in any of their four directions without without turning as they went, but they followed in the direction which they faced without turning as they went. Their whole body, their backs, their hands, their wings, and the wheels were full of eyes all around, the wheels belonging to all four of them. The wheels were called in my hearing, the whirling wheels, and each one had four faces. The first face was the face of a cherub, the second face was the face of a man, the third, the face of a lion, and the fourth, the face of an eagle. Then the cherubim rose up. They are the living beings that I saw by the River Chebar. Now when the cherubim moved, the wheels would go beside them. Also, the cherubim lifted up their wings to rise from the ground, the wheels would not turn from beside them. When the cherub stood still, the wheels would stand still. And when they rose up, the wheels would rise with them. For the spirit of the for the spirit of the living beings was in them. Then the glory of the Lord departed from the threshold of the temple and stood over the cherubim. When the cherubim departed, they lift their wings and rose up from the earth in my sight with the wheels beside them, and they stood still at the entrance of the east gate of the Lord's house, and the glory of Israel hovered over them. These are the living beings that I saw beneath the God of Israel by the River Chebar, so I knew that they were cherubim. Each one had four faces and each one four wings, and beneath their wings was the form of human hands. As for the likeness of their faces, they were the same faces whose appearance I had seen by the River Chibar. Each one went straight ahead. So when we're hearing talk of aliens and spotting UFOs and all that, a lot of the phenomena we're gonna we're gonna we know, in some cases, are fallen angels, but in other cases, as the description here, the wheels and all that are holy angels if the Lord pulls the curtain back and allows people to see. So the devil the devil's gonna use these fallen angels to try and deceive people, but this is legit here. This is Ezekiel by the river Chebar, and the Lord's given him a vision. And so we have not just angels, we have cherubim. Im is plural. So there's cherub angel. There's seraphim, seraph angels, and and then we have angels, so different ranks of angels. And so these cherubim around God's throne, Ezekiel sees it, so Lord's allowed him to see it. And verse 18, send the glory of the Lord departed the Ichabod. So as we're reading in Lamentations and Jeremiah is describing the destruction of the temple and all, Ezekiel gets a picture, gets a vision from the Lord as he's been taken captive to Babylon by the river Chebar, and and he's describing this vision that he has of the cloud, the Shekinah cloud, the Shekinah glory of the Lord departing from the temple. So pretty fascinating, very fascinating to allow the, you know, the Lord to Ezekiel's description of of the spiritual realm and what it looks like to see an angel. And I've I've never heard a description of these little fat, little chubby, little baby cherubs. You know? But it's cute. It's cute. You know? But that's okay. It's cute. You can have them all around your house at Christmas and all that. It's it's it's nice. So, anyway, the cloud there, it the cloud that filled the temple, the cloud that leaves the temple, and which is the Shekinah glory of God. And you and I, we're the temple of the Holy Spirit. And the Holy Spirit dwells in each of us who are Christians singularly, but also plural in all of us collectively as Christians. And we have the promise that the Lord will never leave us nor forsake us. And like we talked about David when he's praying in Psalm 51, he's praying, take not thy holy spirit from me. You and I never need to pray that prayer because Jesus promised he's gonna never leave us nor forsake us. So we don't need to worry of Ichabod, we the Lord departing from us. Even at our worst state, our worst condition, I mean, I wouldn't even know that Lot is saved unless Peter gives me a commentary and righteous Lot. You know, there's no way I could picture Lot in Sodom and Gomorrah as a saved person when he's offering his virgin daughters to these sodomites. You know, that to me is like beyond the scope of of decency. And but because Peter says in righteous lot, then I have to come back to my understanding of salvation is a free gift imputed to lot by grace through faith alone. So not by his works, not by his actions, you know. But James reminds us faith without works is dead. So there is some fruit in Lot's life that of obeying the angels that came to rescue him and to remove him from there. So he he did he did cooperate as they as they he was hesitant, you know, but he did cooperate. So I'm thankful that the Lord arrested me, gave me a measure of faith, came into my heart and lie. And no matter what happens to me or Kathy or my family, I know that the Lord is my portion forever. He's my portion. And and I can I can be very, very thankful for that? So I hope you are too. So we don't need to worry about in the time of judgment if America comes out under judgment that somehow we that are in the church suffer the loss of fellowship with Jesus, you know, because of man's disobedience. It's not gonna happen. But these guys, Judaism ends. They don't get to go to the temple anymore and worship, you know, worship God as as as they once did. And when the church is born in at Pentecost, there's no more use for the temple. There's no more use for that of Judaism. It's over. It fulfilled its purpose in being a shadow pointing to Christ. But in the tribulation period, the the regathering of Israel in Ezekiel thirty six and thirty seven, regathering them in unbelief, they feel a need to rebuild the temple in their unbelief to rebuild the temple. You don't need a temple if you already believe in Jesus. Right? But because you don't believe in Jesus, you're gonna rebuild the temple and you're gonna set the stage for the antichrist, the one who's in place of Jesus Christ to declare himself to be God and demand to be worshiped as God just as Daniel had said in Jesus in Matthew 24, which is the abomination of desolation spoken of by Daniel the prophet. So like at Taekes Epiphanes, in the time of the of the period between that four hundred year gap there from the end of Malachi where he went into the temple, the time of the Maccabeans, he went into the temple and desecrated with a pig and all, you're gonna we're not gonna see it, but the bible describes a point in time where not only is there no Shekinah glory in that temple, but you have the epitome, the opposite end of the spectrum. You have the devil seed, the seed of the devil, the antichrist within the temple, declare himself to be God, demand to be worshipped as God. Now at the end of the tribulation period, there's a 75 interval. And during that seventy five day interval, Jesus, he comes and we come with him, before the millennium starts, we read in Daniel chapter 12, blessed is he that comes to the thirteen hundred and thirty fifth day. So twelve hundred and sixty days after the midpoint of the tribulation period where the antichrist declares himself to be god, demands to be worshiped as god, you can count forward twelve hundred and sixty days, and that will be forty two months or three and a half years later, or twelve hundred sixty days later is the return of Christ. So there's a seventy five day interval where many believe that's where Jesus will cleanse the temple. He'll he'll restore the planet to a condition where there is no more curse upon the planet as we read in Isaiah 11, and he's going to make them he's gonna set the stage for the millennium where he's gonna rule and reign for a thousand years and you and I are gonna rule and reign with him. But one of the things he has to do is I'm trying to get to his cleanup. You gotta clean up that desecrated temple. You gotta clean up Jerusalem. You gotta clean up the planet because the planet has gone through catastrophic events in that seven year tribulation period. So I've got a question. Okay. What am I missing something what the Daughter of Zion is? Daughter of Zion is a way a a name for Jerusalem. Oh. Zion's Jerusalem. Yeah. Okay. And that that's that's the scene here. Makes a lot more sense. The scene here is well, that's a good question. So how has the Lord covered the daughter of Zion with a cloud in his anger? So not a good cloud, this is a bad cloud, a cloud of anger. And cast down from heaven under the earth the beauty of Israel, and remember not his footstool in the day of his anger. So if we look at his footstool, the earth as being his footstool, in Acts seven forty nine or Matthew five thirty six, Isaiah 61 verse one, the earth is his footstool. But in first Chronicles twenty eight two, Solomon's temple, as he's as he's dedicating it, It says, then David the king stood upon his feet and said, hear me, my my brethren and my people. As for me, I had in mine heart to build a house. David wanted to build a house for the Lord, for the ark of the covenant of the Lord and for the footstool of our God and he made ready for the building. So in that case, the context here is not Solomon, but David is the temple's his footstool. So when it says here, the beauty of Israel, remember not his footstool in the day of his anger. The heavens, the heavens can't contain God, but David wants to build him a house. So it's, you know, it's just a footstool. It's it's just a little meeting place there, but God is spirit. They that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. And so when he talks here also about the beauty of Israel, You look at your children, your boys, your girls, and the beauty that God has gifted them with, and then maybe they go through a time of disobedience. Maybe you have gone through a time of disobedience, and that beauty that God gifted you with is eroded through alcohol and meth and and drugs and riotous, rebellious living. And and then later, you know, they you see it that way. And so that's how Jerusalem is. It was once a very beautiful, beautiful city. We see many of the cities in America, particularly San Francisco, beautiful, beautiful city, but being being destroyed, losing its beauty because of sin, and many cities in America in the same way just because of because of our sinfulness. So in the day of his anger, the Lord has swallowed up all the inhabitants or the habitations of Jacob and has not pitied, so there's no pity. He has he has thrown down in his wrath. So we see anger, we see wrath, we see anger, anger, anger. And our God's a God of anger. Our God's a God of wrath. He's gonna pour out his wrath during the tribulation period. It's a Greek word like thumos. It's an explosive anger. And you and I, vengeance is mine, saith the lord. I'll repay. The wrath of man works not the righteousness of god. You and I are very poor at exhibiting or being trusted with this kind of anger. Our anger, if we try to be wrathful toward evil, we tend to overdo it. We tend to do it in a selfish way. So that's why the Lord says vengeance is mine, I'll repay. And James reminds us that the wrath of man works not the righteousness of God. So there is a righteous indignation, but we need to be careful if we're brought to a place of judgment where God's using us to judge evil that we not overdo it. And so in this case, this is his anger. And during the tribulation period, the reason you and I in the church are not in the tribulation period is why? And where do you find that? First Thessalonians five. Five? Five nine. And also and also first Thessalonians chapter one verse 10, the wrath to come. He saved us from the wrath to come. Right? Yep. And so we've already been saved from the wrath of judgment because of salvation at the cross of Calvary, but there's a there's another kind of wrath, and that's the wrath of eschatological wrath, saved us from the wrath to come of the tribulation period wrath. When Jesus said it is finished, he that knew no sin became sin. God poured out his wrath upon his son and punished sin. So he's holy and he's just. He's gotta puny punish sin. And and you and I, because of the propitiation, Jesus being the substitute, we're not subject under God's wrath. Right? You understand that? So you're not gonna be in the tribulation period in a time of God's wrath. Now could you suffer as a result of the breakdown of our culture and our society simply because of what we would term communism? Certainly. You and I might suffer because of the breakdown of of America just as the Christians in China did after Chiang Kai shek was subdued by the globalist Rockefellers and and as they as they presented Mao. And Mao with his communistic efforts killed 60,000,000 of his own people in a communist revolution with the help of the globalists. And Stalin, killing 20,000,000 of his own people in Russia. Pol Pot, Idi Amin, others throughout history have killed many innocents, and many of whom are Christians, and many of whom still today suffer because they are Christians. That's not the wrath of God. That's simply the devil, the prince, the power of the air, the little g god of this world wanting to destroy as many as he can. And so the martyrs, they get a crown of life. Right? Stephen, the first of the martyrs within the church. And so Jesus said, don't fear them that can kill the body, but fear him who can not only kill your body, but cast your soul into hell. So we as Christians, we're ready to be asked on the bodies to be present with the Lord. If the Lord gifts us and privileges us to that of martyrdom in the next year, two years, three years before the rapture. There's no no event for the rapture to happen. The rapture could happen right now. And but if the rapture doesn't happen and we go home as a result of martyrdom, that's a privilege. It's a blessing to be privileged in that way. So but we don't want you to be a prepper to get ready to have to white knuckle it through the tribulation period because God's gonna part his wrath during that time. We don't believe that's a biblical position of a pre wrath rapture or a mid rapture, mid or even a post post toasties. We don't even we don't even eat post toasties anymore. We don't do that. So we're so pre trib, we'd never eat a bowl of cereal post toasties. We'd never do that. So that's how pre trib we are. Okay. So but be careful be careful of the you know, some some of the real nice books to read are books about the attributes of God, maybe A. W. Tozer. And one of the attributes of God is that he's holy and also that in that in that holiness that he he will punish sin, that he's a god of anger. He'll bring forth his anger, and his wrath. And so it's it's a doctrine that a lot of people are afraid of. How could a loving God and then you gotta fill in the blank. How could there ever be the millennium? How could there ever be a heaven if God doesn't punish sin? He has to punish sin. Otherwise, we don't have no millennium. We don't have a a millennium where the curse is reversed and where Jesus rule and reigning with the rod of righteousness if sin continues to prevail and overwhelm that which is good. So God God has judged the angels in Isaiah 14 and Ezekiel 28. God judged the angels when they rebelled against him. One third Revelation twelve, one third of the stars of heaven fell with Lucifer. And, Sololinsky rules for radicals. He dedicates his book, to Lucifer, son of the morning, who rebelled against God. And these angels have no plan of redemption. They have no way back. Two thirds of the angels are the holy angels that rule and reign with the lord, and they're they're messengers. They're servants of the lord. And so so we see the pattern. We see where god judged where the five I will statements of Lucifer. I will be as God. We see the root of sin is to be as God. The Satan deceived the woman within the garden Adam transgressed and that you can be as God. And we see the lie in second Thessalonians two that God would give the world over to a strong delusion in that they would believe the lie. The lie that's gonna be propagated again and preached again is that human beings can become as gods, and which is a bold faced lie. So God's gonna gonna deal with the devil. The devil's going to spend a thousand years in the abyss and then be loosed at the end of the tribulation at the end of the millennium, But the antichrist and the false prophet are gonna be destroyed with the brightness of the Lord's coming and the sword of his mouth at at Basra as the Lord is going to intervene except those days be short and no flesh will be saved. But for the elect's sake. For the nation of Israel, the Lord Jesus intervenes when the nation of Israel cries out, blessed is he that comes in the name of the Lord. And so so the Lord has swallowed up all the inhabitants of Jacob and has not pitied. He has thrown down in his wrath the strongholds of the daughters of Judah. So you have the daughters of Zion, the daughters of of Judah. He has brought them down to the ground. He has polluted the kingdom and its princess. And so its military is destroyed. The homes are destroyed. He has cut off in his fierce anger all the horn of Israel. He has drawn back his right hand from before the enemy and he burned against Jacob like a flaming fire which devours roundabout. So the hedge is removed. You and I are intercessors. You and I are a what second Thessalonians two describes as a preserving influence. We are what Jesus described as the light of the world, the salt of the earth. We stave off putrification. We take meat that can't be refrigerated and we salt it. We salt this planet. You're the salt of the earth. You're slowing down the putrefying, the corruption of this world simply by being a child of God and the Holy Spirit working through you. So in second Thessalonians two, when the restrainer, restraining evil, When the restrainer is removed with the rapture of the church, this planet, these people, one of the greatest cataclysmic event that's ever gonna happen to this planet is the rapture of the church. When the rapture of the church takes place, America is toast, you know, because there's not gonna be there's not gonna be your voice, your influence, the holy spirit working through you to slow down the corruption that's taking place. It seems to be accelerating, and it looks to be. The birth pangs that we're watching are increasing in frequency and intensity. These are the birth pranks of the birthing of the tribulation period, right? And we see these things begin to come to pass. We're looking up knowing our redemption is drawing near. So the sorrow of the planet, the poor planet, the poor trees and animals and all of creation is, according to Romans eight, is groaning, groaning, waiting for Jesus to come back because they see the the evil. They see they are experiencing the evil, the upheaval of evil, and they're groaning and travailing, yearning for that day where the curse is reversed and everything's made right once again. And so I talk to rocks. Do know why I talk to rocks? Because they talk back. Do they? Because in the hosanna, hosanna. Right? Hosanna, the people are shouting, hosanna, hosanna, hosanna. If we don't praise him, then the rocks will cry out. An inanimate object. But Jesus said the rocks will cry out. Ain't that amazing? Do you have a pet rock? I get no. I'm just kidding. I don't talk to rocks. I don't but you could. You could if you take the bible literally. If you take the bible literally, he's not joking them. The rocks would cry out. They would cry out. All of creation crying out. Right? The trees clap their hands. Alright. So and the thing about the birds when they sing, what do you think they're doing? They're praising God. In the morning, as as the planet comes, they're praising God. You know, they're worshiping God. Blows my mind. And so he's caught off with his fierce anger, all the horn of Israel, so the the hedge of protection, they would have they would if you've watched there was a show that I watched, I love it, is the ghost in the darkness. Remember the ghost in the darkness? Remember what they tried to do to put a hedge up? They took thorn bushes to keep the lions away from the place where the people were living. So you could grow these thorn bushes, these hedges, to try and make it, you know, difficult for any kind of animals or any kind of enemies to come through those thorny bushes. One of the things we did when we had our house is we had a chain link fence, but we allowed the blackberry bushes to grow up all along the fence. And so my dog didn't like to try and get through that and dig a hole underneath the chain link fence, you know, because of the thorns there. But what he's saying here is he's removed. You you they'll burn they'll burn those hedges down and make it so that when they invade, they don't have to deal with all of the, thorns. So all the horn of Israel, the horn speaking of the strength, he has drawn back his right hand from before the enemy. So the right hand the right hand is this the hand of strength. So the restraint is removed. He's taken his right hand away. He's not gonna protect them, with his power. Burned against Jacob like a flaming fire which devours roundabout. He has bent his bow like an enemy. So rather than bending his bow as a as a savior to save us from our enemy, he's allowing the enemy to come in like a flood. He has bent his bow like an enemy. He stood with his right hand as an adversary and slew all that were pleasant to the eye and the tabernacle of the daughter of Zion. He poured out his fury like fire. He's talking about God. Right? The Lord was an enemy. The Lord was an enemy. Now you and I as Christians, we don't ever need to fear that God's our enemy. If God before us, who can be against us? Roman eight thirty one. Right? Or since God is for you, who can be against you? The devil needs permission to get at you. Your enemies need permission. God is sovereign. He's in control. Jesus ever lives to make intercession for you. Not one little hair of your head can fall to the ground. Not one little sparrow falls to the ground without his knowledge. His good thoughts concerning you and I are numbered more than all the stars of heaven, numbered more than all the grains of sand at the seashore. Right? His good thoughts, not thoughts of evil. His good thoughts concerning you. I know the way that you take, saith the Lord. You know, I know my thoughts concerning you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil to give you a future and a hope. Jeremiah twenty nine eleven. Right? And so I know my thoughts concerning you, of Israel. I've got a good plan and purpose for you. But in this case here, it's judgment time. They're cooked. They're ripened for judgment. There's a shelf life for every nation. Right? Every nation's got a shelf life. All these empires, the Babylonian, the Persians, the Greeks, the Romans, the rebirth of the Roman Empire during the tribulation period has a shelf life. Fortunately, for the earth dwellers, it only lasts seven years. Right? And boy, what catastrophic events. Jesus said, except those days be short and no flesh would be saved. So he's an enemy. He didn't wait for you and I to become friends to save us. While you were an enemy, he brought forth reconciliation. Right? He doesn't need to be reconciled to us, we need to be reconciled to him. So he brings terms of surrender to you and I, terms of which is complete surrender, terms of reconciliation. You wanna be reconciled with me? You wanna be at peace with me? You've been my enemy. So you're coming to the line where Stalin and Churchill and Roosevelt are sitting after the end of World War II, and they're gonna divide up the spoil, right? We need terms of peace, terms of reconciliation. How are we gonna divide it? What are we gonna do? So with General MacArthur to the leader of Japan, it's unconditional surrender. Right? Yeah. Unconditional surrender. Surrender. I surrender. And that's what you and I. We we're his enemy, but he's offering terms of peace of reconciliation if we will surrender unconditionally. No no we have no terms. Well, Lord, I'll I'll serve you if. Lord, I'll become a Christian if. You know? No. There's none of that. It's it's it's all or nothing. So but while we were enemies, justification. Colossians one twenty one. And you that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now have he reconcile reconciled. Reconciled. Reconciled. Thank you guys. So but now, but God, now so in the past, you're an enemy. Now, even though he had a wicked mind and all those bad thoughts. Right? In me that is my flesh dwells no good thing as a man thinketh in the heart, so is he. I need a transformation. I need to think different because I'm wired to hate God. I'm wired in my fallen nature to be an enemy of God. I need to be rewired. And Elon Musk can't do it, he doesn't know how to do it. So he can't put a chip in my head and rewire me. There's no pill, there's no therapy. I need to be born again. I need to be transformed by the renewing of our mind. I need to be converted. Right? I need to become a new creature in Christ Jesus, and that's the work of the Holy Spirit. Philippians three eighteen. Oh, three eighteen. I'm sorry. Thought you Oh, I'm sorry. 310. That's the Oh. 18. 10 is good too. For many walk of whom I often told you, and now tell you even weeping, that they are enemies of the cross of Christ. There are enemies. We have enemies. There's enemies of the cross of Christ. We have Ephesians six where Paul tells us we fight not against flesh and blood, but against spirits and principalities of the air. But the devil's people run around as enemies of the cross. Right? Inspired by the wicked one. First Corinthians fifteen twenty five. For he must reign till he hath put all his enemies under his feet. And he's gonna put them all. So in in chapter 15, it's it's one of the enemies is death. Right? Yeah. 26. What else? Hell, the devil. So he's gonna put all of his enemies under his feet, and we have the victory of the resurrection. So be steadfast, immovable, always abound in the work of the Lord because you know your work is not in vain. Why? Because o death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? It's been swallowed up. Right? We have the victory of Jesus. We don't fear anything anymore. Perhaps some of bodies be present with the Lord. For me to live is Christ, to die is gain. What's the devil gonna threaten me with? Right. Right? When are you gonna leverage me? When are you gonna leverage me? Hey. Shut the church down. Quit singing. Be six feet apart. Oh, you guys eating over there with six people. COVID's not there, but if you go over here with seven people, COVID's over here. Right? I mean, ludicrous. Just ludicrous. It's no. It's hell no. We're not gonna quit singing, Jay. You know, it's like you you overstepped your bounds. And but sadly sadly, people are so afraid. They're just so afraid, they they're seduced by the lies so easily because of fear, and that's what Joseph Goebbels had said. So if we see the victory that's ours in Christ, much easier to gain the victory and continue in fellowship with the Lord. I would be so incredibly grieved as a pastor, as a Christian, to throw Jesus under the bus in that way, to just say you're not essential. We're we're gonna keep the strip clubs open, but the churches need to close. We're gonna give me two weeks to change the curve, you know, these lies. Right? And it would deeply deeply grief me to throw Jesus out and to succumb to those lies. Okay. Luke twenty forty three. My turn. It's a really short one. Till I make your enemies your footstool To him. Praise the Lord. Make your enemies your footstool. So you could rejoice. You could read like Psalm two. Oh, how the heathen rage, imagine a vain thing against the Lord and against his anointed. So Klaus Schwab, the World Economic Forum, the World Health Organization, the gates, the kill gates of hell, the Soros, all these all these Revelation seventeen seventeen globalists that are doing god's bidding, doing what god wants them to do, the lord's setting the stage, but there's a day coming the Lord laughs at them. He laughs from heaven at them that their their God complex is very short lived. In Revelation six, where are they? They're in their bunkers beneath the earth trying to hide from the wrath of the lamb, and there's nowhere to go even in their billion dollar bunkers. They can't escape the judgment that's coming upon them. And so daughter mourning and lamentation. So the Lord was an enemy. He has swallowed up Israel. He has swallowed up all her palaces. He has destroyed his strongholds and has increased in the daughter of Judah mourning and lamentation. He has violently taken away his tabernacle. So, this is synonymous with the temple interchangeable the way the way it's described here. He has violently taken away his tabernacle like that of a garden. He has destroyed his places of the assembly. So you have tabernacle, you have assembly, the church is the ecclesia, those called out are the assembly. Garden, he has destroyed the places of assembly. The Lord has caused the solemn feasts and Sabbath to be forgotten. So if you're a part of Judaism and you're working hard six days and resting the seventh, when you have these feasts where you get to have a week of feasting, a week of celebration, a week, you know, of worshiping the Lord and coming together in that way, those those are those are celebratory times. But now it's a time of mourning. It's over. And and it's the places of assembly of the lord has caused the solemn feast and Sabbath to be forgotten in Zion and has despised in the indignation of his anger the king and and and the priest. So for Kathy and I, the number one favorite thing that we do as human beings today is attend church. Amen. Always been that way. We love to go to church and sing with the saints and worship the Lord, study his word, fellowship and pray, it's the number one thing on a list if we can choose, alright, what do you wanna do? I wanna go to church. Amen. Always has been. And and these guys don't get to do that. They don't get to go to church. We call it church, but temple. It's over. So now now because they've been so adulterous toward God and worshiping the God of the Babylonians of Baal and Ashtoreth and all, now they're gonna be saturated, the remnant, those taken in captivity, taken to Babylon, they're going to go to the center of idolatry. They're gonna just be overwhelmed with the idolatrous practices. But yet you have Daniel, you have Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego and others who refuse to bow down to king Nebbe's image. Right? So there's still, even though they don't have the temple, they don't have the, you know, the ability to go back to Jerusalem, they still, wherever they are, you see Daniel when later when the Persians try to figure out a way to destroy Daniel, they say, you know, that you're not gonna get this guy catch him in doing anything wrong. So we're gonna have to make what he does wrong. So we're gonna have to change the laws of free speech. We're gonna use speaker of the house Johnson, and we're going to make a big ruse that people are talking bad, anti Semitic toward Israel. And and so we're gonna have a big ruse where we make it, you know, a a crime to say something bad about the nation of Israel. And and meanwhile, everyone's gonna lose their rights of free speech because if you do it for one, you're gonna have to it with all of them. Right? What an idiot. What idiots Christians are. You know? Anti Semitism has been around since since Israel was you know, first came along. They don't need our help. Right? So what they do is is the Medes and the Persians would they make a law that nobody's nobody can pray. You're not allowed to pray. And they know that Daniel opens his windows up and he prays, you know, four times a day. Yeah. And so does Daniel abide by that new law? No. They know. So he opens up his windows. In Daniel chapter six, he winds up in Daniel the lion's den. Right? And Ahasuerus, the the king, the laws of the Medes and Persians are binding, and so he got tricked into this. And so Daniel, although a man of God, you know, he loved Daniel, and the king's not even gonna sleep. He's gonna fast and he's gonna pray while Daniel's there in the lion's den, and he comes back in the morning. And Daniel, all beloved of God, you know, and you know the story. You saw it on VeggieTales. And Daniel didn't get eaten by the by the lions. And but his enemies got thrown in, and and their bones were crushed before they even hit the ground and all. So there's no negotiating with a Christian. We're gonna obey God rather than men. It's already determined in my heart. Oh, king, you know Shadrach, Meshach, Abednego, oh, king, we're not careful in answering you in this situation. Our God is able to deliver us and he will deliver us, you know. But if not for some reason, we still won't bow down and worship your image, you know. You can't defeat people like that. They're willing to die for their faith. And that's the that's the faith of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. So they took something with them as believers to Babylon. And then later, some of the book of Daniel is written in Aramaic. And later when Jesus is born, you have the wise men from Babylon coming, right? And they're coming with a story that they learned while in Babylon of the Christ child. We saw his star. The Shekinah glory of God is leading these wise men to Jerusalem, to Bethlehem to see the Christ, the king of Israel. And the star is not just like any star, it's Shekinah glory of God moving them, bringing them, hovering over the house of where the Christ child is. Right? So even though this takes place here and it looks like apostasy and it's the end, God always has a remnant of believers, a remnant of people that do what he's calling them to do. Even if they can't go to church, the church buildings destroyed, they meet in houses. They go from house to house, and they're hiding in Iran presently. They're hiding in in China, Laos, and other totalitarian countries, and and they continue to grow. The the church continues to expand and grow. Fastest growing church in the world is where? Iran. Does the media let you know that? No. So the media's job is to demonize Iran. Right? Some customers that this weekend. Yeah. Big war's coming. Church, was complaining. I felt bad. Alright. Well, you're here tonight. Yes. There's now therefore no condemnation. Right? Okay. Well, I'll find a way of making you feel worse. I'm gonna watch it tomorrow. So strongholds and has increased in the daughter of Judah, a mourning and lamentation. That's a good name for this book. He has abhorred his sanctuary. He has given up into the hand of the enemy the walls of her palaces. They have made a noise in the house of the Lord as in the day of a solemn feast. So there's no life, there's no joy, there's no praise, there's only weeping and sorrow, great, great sorrow. It's very sad when you see a church that you used to attend. And when the founder passes on, you have during his lifetime, you know, a great moving and working of the Holy Spirit. So most of the denominational movements, whether it's Charles and John Wesley with the Methodists, or Martin Luther with the Lutherans, or different people throughout history that God used mightily. The eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth to show himself strong on behalf of a man or a woman whose heart is perfect toward God. So God starts with a man, a man of faith. He raises up an Abraham, brings him out of Ur, the Chaldeans. He brings him out of an idolatrous home, that of Terah, and he makes him a man of faith, Abraham, the father of our faith, a friend of God. And through Abraham, Abraham in your loins, all nations of the earth are gonna be blessed through you. And so a father of many nations. And so in Isaac shall thy seed be called and then narrowed down to Jacob, then you got 12 tribes and the kingly tribe, that of Judah, and the covenant with David, the Davidic covenant that that David, you can't build me a house, but I'm gonna build a dynasty through your loins. And so you have Abraham, you've got David, you bring forth the Jews. The purpose of bringing forth the Jews is to bring forth the Messiah, and we see Israel as the wife of Jehovah, the church is the bride of Christ. And during the church age, the Lord will raise up a guy that or or sometimes a woman. The Foursquare Church was raised up through Amy Semple McPherson. So I don't know how that works, but it happened. And and you've got pastor Chuck Smith of Calvary Chapel. And so God looks for a man, and he finds that man, and then there becomes a movement, the Calvary movement or the Methodist movement through John and Charles Wesley or Luther, the Protestant Reformation, a Catholic priest who's come to a saving knowledge of the just shall live by faith. And so the chains of of darkness, the chains of illiteracy of not knowing doctrine, of not knowing the Bible are are relinquished. So there's a great renaissance, a great light that begins to shine, a great fervor for learning. And God takes the common people and he brings Erasmus and he brings the Koine Greek and it's translated into English, not not Latin. It doesn't remain in Latin. So only the educated people of the Catholic church can read, but Koine Greek, where the common, the poor can have a Bible, and then translated with Tyndale, and Tyndale loses life into English. So all the English speaking people, and Zwingli in in France and Switzerland and all these other European nations, the Bible being translated very rapidly into the tongue of the common people. And so you see a great a great work of God's spirit being poured out in the Great Britain with the sixteen eleven King James and with the proliferation of the word of God getting out all over the planet. You see the blessing that God placed upon. The sun never set upon the British Empire. And so as the church was strong in Great Britain, the church was strong. There was great prosperity, great blessing. Now there's a post Christian era all over Europe. Right? And very, very sad. But so you got the man, you got the movement. And Kathy and I came in during the movement, the Jesus movement, the Jesus people in 1980, and it was phenomenal. You couldn't even get a seat in the sanctuary. The aisles were all filled with people sitting in the way and people would come to church two, three hours ahead of time and stay two, three hours later. And there weren't any rules. There weren't any compulsion, guilt. It was simply you were there because you wanted to be there. You were afraid you'd miss out on something. And so you had new worship songs and all sorts of bible studies and churches beginning to spread out. So you got this movement. And when pastor Chuck took over the church, was only 25 people in 1964. And so and then what happens is it starts with a man and then a movement, then it becomes a machine. You've got to organize. You've got to organize it. So now you've got to organize it in such a way. It's so prolific. It's so successful. There's so much money that now you've gotta organize it, and that's the machine. And the machines can just coast on what happened previously. And as long as that founder is still there and he's teaching the Bible and got it organized to a machine type thing where people know what to expect, it continues to grow. And but then when that man dies, it goes from being a machine and everybody fighting over all the assets to a monument. It's a monument to the founder. And the Holy Spirit says I can't pour new wine into this old wineskin. I'm gonna go somewhere else and I'm gonna look for a group of people, look for man or woman, people that will worship me in spirit and truth, and there's new wine poured out into a new wine vessel. Right? Home bible study, whatever it is. And and sadly, that old place that you used to meet is empty now. It's empty. Where 20,000 people used to go through there in a week, there's 400. There's less than 400. And they're dabbling with erroneous doctrine and women pastors and they're going woke. They're going they're going crazy. Right? And and the Lord just moves along and and works through other groups, other people who are open to leading and guiding the Holy Spirit. So one of the tragedies is in the present situation we're in, many of the Calvary Chapels are living in the past. Every conference, everything is the past because it's a monument. And if I could, I would do like many do, and I would try and find where pastor Chuck is buried so that I could go lay upon his grave so that I could get the anointing. Right? But thank god I don't know where he's buried or I would do that. You know? People do that. People do that. And that's what this whole thing of looking back is, and it doesn't honor god because god shares his glory with no man. And so keep your eyes on Jesus. Don't get your eyes on on any any man. But it is a tragic thing in a time of apostasy, a time of falling away from the truth. And these guys are falling away, but as God told Elijah, I've got 7,000 that haven't bowed their knee to the prophet Baal. So the baton is passed to us, little remnant church, remnant churches all over the planet, and we stay with the word of God. We stay with what got us here. And that's fellowship with the Lord Jesus through the teaching of his word in the power of the Holy Spirit. So there's only weeping. He says verse eight, so the Lord has purposed, so God has a purpose, God has a plan here. The Lord has purposed, you look at verse 17, the fulfillment of the plan, the purpose. The Lord has purposed to destroy the wall of the daughter of Zion. He has stretched out a line. Stretching out a line for you guys to build, it means it's precision. It's a surgical strike. It's a laser guided missile. Right? Surgical. It's not just mamby pamby every which way it goes. No. There's a purpose here. And, God has a plan and a purpose for your life. He's not the author of confusion. And so his precise, a unique place that you fit within the body, He's given gifts to every single Christian, every single Christian, severally as he wills. Right? And so you have a gift to use for his kingdom and glory. You don't bury that gift. You reinvest in the power of the Holy Spirit exercising that gift for his kingdom and for his glory. And so the daughter withdrawn his hand from destroying, therefore he made the rampart and the wall to lament. They languished together. So the walls have been broken down. But you know what? There's a day in Nehemiah two where after the seven years of captivity that Artaxerxes' La Johemiah on March fourteenth, four forty five BC, commissions Nehemiah to go back and to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem and Ezra the priest. And in fifty and two days, those walls are rebuilt, and all of the enemies of Nehemiah know that this work was wrought of God. There were enemies, Tobias, Samballat, right, and others. So you're gonna work with a trowel in one hand and a sword in the other, right? You're gonna move forward. You're gonna move forward with a fight, a battle. If there's no fight or battle against you, you're not a threat to the kingdom of darkness. But if you're a threat to the kingdom of darkness, you're gonna have to keep your armor on, you're gonna have to be ready because there's gonna be opposition to anything that God has us to do. Her gates are sunk into the ground. So the gates that would provide security are sunk into the ground and destroyed and broken her bars. So the gates are just gone. Her king and her princess are among the nations. They've been taken captive. The law is no more. Her prophets also find no vision from the Lord. So no security. The function of government, human government, is the preservation of good. Mhmm. The function of human government is not to be tyrannical and to oppress people. God put human government there for the function of good. When this government ceases to be good, then what? So Adolf Hitler wants Christians to read Romans 13 and somehow convince people that he's a dictator, a king, a tyrant, and you just blindly obey, go along with whatever government says. No. Government is failing right now. Our government's failed. They're lawless. Their job is to preserve that which is good. Their job is to have walls, to have borders, to secure the borders, to make America safe to live and dwell within, not to defund police, not to make it more chaotic and worse in the cities and more crime. They're creating in the power clowered pivot strategy and the and the rules for radicals, they've destroy that, which is good. They've gotta break down society. They gotta spend so much money in all the different agencies of government that they bankrupt the dollar. They bankrupt the currency. So again, the quote of Henry Kissinger, what did he say? If you control money, you control the world. If you control oil, you control nations. If you control food, you control the people. It's all about control. Where are they at right now? Where are they at? How close are they to controlling all the money? No more cash. Right? No more cash. How and so they're gonna control the world through blockchain technology. Whitney Webb is describing what's going on in South America right now in Argentina, and I posted it. They're already moving in a direction of the carbon taxing of all the assets. So BlackRock comes in and they own Ukraine. BlackRock comes in and State Street and Vanguard. These bankers, a banker coup, they own it all. And how do they do it? They pay these little governments through carbon taxation. So they control all the assets, the natural resources in the name of green, in the name of the planet, securing the planet, but they're controlling assets. So that's the money part of it. The food part, the processing plants, all the food. Wanting us to eat bugs? Excuse me? Synthetic meats? Bill Gates and the guys want to want to starve us to death. And and so oil, you can't even drill oil. We've got two hundred years of oil just in the state of Texas, not counting the other states. The electric cars don't work. The electric airplanes, electric, everything doesn't work. Why electric? Because we flip a switch and you guys don't get to go anywhere. You have to remain in your smart cities. You don't have the ability to fill your take up with gas. Today, Eric sent me a thing that the state of California is putting a 50¢ tax on gasoline down there, and gas is already up close to $7 a gallon. Why? Because the funding of communism, the funding of wokeism, pretty soon you run out of money. So you have to keep taxing, taxing, taxing, taxing and with your your ludicrous policies. And so energy is energy is simple. It's simple. Just drill. Just get get the oil out. Quit quit using your strategic reserves, Biden, so that when you put us into a war, we don't have any oil. We don't have any bombs. We don't have anything because we sent it all to Ukraine and left it all in Afghanistan. You know? It's a it's a strategy to to of treason is what it is. And so so you have no leadership. There's no leadership. And don't think for a minute that you're gonna vote your way out of this. Trump is Biden didn't campaign the first time. That's true. Trump was, like, prolific with the amount of people. He's prolific again. So if he gets appointed, and that's what it is, you don't get voted in. If he gets appointed a second time, the strategy is gonna be, to blame all the Christians when everything crashes. Right? We get left holding the bag and because it is gonna crash. So her prophets also find no vision from the Lord. See, he can't even go to church. You don't have pastors. You don't have teachers that have any leadership ability or even teach the bible. One third of the bible's prophecy. 98% of the pastors of the churches don't teach prophecy. We're living in a pregnant prophetic time. Pregnant. And yet they don't wanna talk about it. It's doom and gloom. No. It's not doom and gloom. It's the blessed hope. Amen. It's the glorious appearing of our great god and savior. Why would I continue to trust in your lives when Jesus said that he's coming? I'm gonna trust in him. So the elders of the daughter of Zion sit upon the ground and keep silence. Church is silent. Won't even open their mouths about what's going on. Let me find a church where I can be in denial, where I can hide from the reality of what's coming. When I get over here to chapter five, I've got you guys don't see it, but I have it in big red letters, reality. Reality is coming. Amen. You can't hide anymore from the reality of judgment. It's coming. But meanwhile, when things are prosperous, food food prices have gone up 30%. People that make a $100 a year, families that make a $100 a year are having a very difficult time feeding their children and meeting their bills, meeting their obligations. That's a $100 a year simply because of a 30% increase in in everything, but especially, the cost of food. So it's getting tighter and tighter upon the once what we called middle class, and and it's all by design. So the elders of the daughter of Zion sit upon the ground and keep silence, and they have cast up dust upon their heads, and they have girded themselves with sackcloths. The virgins of Jerusalem hang down their heads to the ground. They're not looking for men. They can't trust any man. They don't wanna make eye contact with anybody, the bunch of losers out there, low T guys. You know? Yeah. So if you dry if any of you are lacking testosterone, just ride in my excursion with me. Jesus wept. And we're all put together different. But Kathy's laughing at me. Yep. You're the man. I'm the man. Yeah. But I get what's called grace attacks, not panic attacks. Do you know what a grace attack is? Yeah. Where God is so good, you're just so overwhelmed with God's goodness, you just weep. Right? Amen. Tears of joy. And when I when I think of how incredible God is and how incredible his people are and how incredible Kathy is as a mother, I just get a grace attack. You know? So I I alluded to Kathy putting her hand on the door of Jessica's room, but, no, she opened the door and she crawled in there while Jessica's asleep and put her hand on the bed, the foot of the bed and pray and sensing a very oppressive evil spirit. Now that's a mother. Alright. I'm gonna cry again. May I ask a question? Uh-huh. So when I first the first sunny that I came here, I think that's what I had is what you were talking about because I I just shared with the Lord, and I said, look. If I'm gonna come here, I I really want to know from you. This is where you want me, and and the Lord knows. I'm telling you the truth right now. I sat there and all of a sudden because when the Holy Spirit comes on me, I weep. And I started weeping. And I couldn't stop. And I leaned over to Richard and I said, honey, I'm crying. Richard said, it's okay. It's okay. And but it was. It was the presence in the church was so strong and and god was so confirming to me that this is where I was supposed to be. Amen. And that's a grace attack. That's what you call that because I'm gonna write that down. Yeah. Well, thank you for sharing that. Hallelujah. And Yeah. I've been trying to get out of here for thirty years, but god gives me those grace attacks, and I I know I'm in god's will, and I'm supposed to stay here. So I'm thankful that you're here to replace some people that are moving away. And I hope they can find a church like this where they're going. Yes. Right? So that to me to me, the the I went away just so blessed that I was a part of that I am a part of, like, bible study here. And, you know, we're we're the poorest church in the in the county. You know, we have nothing. But the Lord is our portion. Amen. And we get to come together and worship. And we're not more spiritual than anybody. We're not saying we're better than anybody. But one thing I do know that I know that I know that I know that God is still present Amen. And that and that he's pouring out his spirit. And I'm excited. I'm excited. Like, alright, Lord. What do you have for us in these last days? Dinner together. Dinner? I love having dinner. I love my ribbons. It's the bestest. Alright. Okay. Well, thank you for sharing that. That's that's a blessing. So Vicky's told me that, Rob, other people told me, and that's a huge encouragement to Kathy and I that people still sense the holy spirit. They sense God's presence. Can you imagine being a pastor of a church where it's Ichabod? You could have millions of dollars in the bank and be a machine just going through the motions. Great salary, great house, great all that. But if the holy spirit's not in it, that would suck. That would that would Jason says you speak in the spirit is is what it's he explains it to me. Well, the the it's a spirit filled church. The people, the way they worship, the way they love. See, love's the key. If if you get the people hating each other and factions and division and backbiting and gossip I've been in a church like that. I pastored a church like that, and it's no fun. It's it's the worst. It's a sick church. It's sick. And we had to go through a whole upheaval where the Lord pruned pruned way back, and now we got nothing to fight over. There's nothing to fight over. One one guy came up to me the other day and said, I think it was Sean said to me, yeah. You did you meet that new guy? And I said, oh, what new guy? And he wants to be a deacon. And I said, well, it's his first day there and he's looking for a deacon job? I know. Just go over to Calvary Poulsbo. They give them out like crazy. You know? You can you can have a title and a badge and be a deacon the first day you're there. Our people, they deacon. They deacon. They serve. But there's no titles. There's no nothing to fight over. It's there's freedom. If you wanna serve, serve. Nobody's stopping you from serving, you know? If you don't wanna serve, don't serve. If you wanna give, give. You don't wanna give, don't give. There's freedom. Where the spirit of the Lord is, there's liberty. So we walk by faith. Every single week, we walk by faith. Lord, is anybody gonna show up today? You know? And then I'm behind the the thing there and I can hear I can hear Betty and I can hear her laughing. I hear people talking. And I'm like, Lord, it's so good to have Betty out there. It's so good to have people here. And then you find out that, you know, Tammy and Jim live way out there, and then Nancy and Lee live way out there, and they're willing to drive in. And and so it's a insignificant little church that nobody even knows about, but God knows about it. Right? Amen. And that's that's A lot a lot of my customers all weekend could tell the difference with me. Yeah. And they were like, what? We what's Cheryl, what's going on? What's going on? Baptized in January. It was so cool. You thought they're gonna say, are you pregnant? What's time now, though? No. Because I lost 40 pounds since they've seen me too. So everybody's just like, you look great. You're glowing. You're glowing. Yeah. And I'm like, oh, yeah. Everything's great. And I got baptized, and I go to church, and I have the best people. These people are my people. You found your tribe? I did. Alright. Yeah. Well, you are a blessing to us. Stay. Paula's a blessing to us. She's about ready to have her baby. Yeah. Literally. Alright. Praise the lord. Would have been a grandma yesterday. So but I got divorced. There is a baby. Okay. His name is Ren. Yeah? Yeah. I'll get to see him someday. You will. The laws no more that prophets also find no vision from the Lord. See, they've been false prophets. And now when reality strikes, they don't know what book to write. They don't know what to say on the YouTube prophets. They've been getting away with lies for so long. Now reality is confronting them and contradicting all the stinking lies that they said, and now they don't know what to do. Mhmm. It's undeniable now. It's undeniable. And this is what Jeremiah's been saying all along. But he doesn't get any credit. He doesn't get any in fact, you know what you know what? Thanks Jeremiah gets. Gadalei and the boys, they grab hold of Jeremiah and they take him down into Egypt and kill him. That's what they do to Jeremiah. You were right all along, bud. You deserve an award. Now we're tired of looking at your face that reminds us of your rights. We're gonna kill you. Yeah. The elders of the daughter of Zion sit upon the ground and keep silence. They have cast dust upon their heads. They have girded themselves with sackcloth. The virgin of Jerusalem hangs down their heads to the ground, and my knives do fail with tears. My heart is troubled. My liver is poured upon the earth. So the chemicals that are produced in us when somebody gets cancer, goes through a divorce, or a child dies, or catastrophic events, our bowels can produce all sorts of chemicals that cause us to throw up, to get an ulcer, maybe even get cancer as a result of your immune system being being weakened during a time of great, great trauma. And so he's saying, I'm troubled. My liver is poured upon the earth for the earth for the destruction of the daughter of my people because the children and the suckling swoon in the streets of the city. So as he's watching the starvation of the little ones, does it bother you that your government is a government of pedophiles? Does that bother you? Does it bother you that they human traffic children? I mean, does anybody care anymore? Jeremiah cares. He cares. He cares so much it's making him sick. It's affecting him physiologically. The starvation of watching children die of starvation. They say to their mothers, where is grain? Where is wine? When they swoon like the wounded in the streets of the city, when their soul was poured out into their mother's bosom. So the children are begging for food. They're saying, mommy, I'm hungry. Mommy, I'm hungry. And when I'm over at Wayne and Brittany's house and the grandkids are there, there's times where one of the kids will say that, mommy, I'm hungry. Mommy, I'm hungry. And boy, she pops up. Wayne pops up, and they put something together. They don't let them sit there, mommy, I'm hungry. Immediately, you know, if there isn't fruit there on the counter or something to grab and eat, they immediately start putting together a, you know, a meal. When grandma's over there, she has the privilege and blessing of homeschooling them and babysitting them a couple days a week. And she gets so excited because she goes out shopping ahead of time and she has meal plans. She has food that she's gonna feed them. You know what their favorite meal is from grandma? Chicken legs, Caesar salad, and rice. They die for it. Just die for it. And I never miss miss a meal when when she's doing that, you know? So and but it's so fun to feed hungry children. Isn't that one of the funnest things? To watch these kids be so hungry and and and then you you plan a meal for them, you know, you mothers, your fathers, our family to come together and to eat? What a blessing. If that was ever taken away from us, if we could ever fathom and conceive that there'd be a point in time that somebody in this nation would die of starvation? Really? I mean, our grocery stores are are world renowned. When people come to this country from other countries and they see just our grocery stores just packed with food everywhere. We had the African children's choir come to the church and do a performance. And sometimes we get kids that have been on tour with them for six months or eight months. But this one time, we had the African children's choir and the group were fresh here. They'd only been here like a week. And they did their performance, and then the families in the church get to have two or three of them come stay with them, you know, you move them around. And we took the four, I think, that we had, and we went over to the Red Robin. And they were tripping out. The kids were just blown away at all the, you know, the design and the architecture and everything there. And then the food, they were looking around at the food. Their eyes were so big and, you know, and then you're buying them the food. And then I remember we brought them back home, and Kathy had baskets of fresh fruit, and they were so blown away. They could have as much as they wanted, you know, whatever they wanted. And it was like they were so incredibly appreciative. And one of their chaperones, the lady was there, and she was, you know, from Africa. And I'll never forget the way that she grabbed hold of that wood and began to make kindling out of it, man. You know, I mean, she knew what she was doing, you know, and put it in the wood burning stove. But these people were not pampered chefs. They weren't, you know, they've done without. They know what it is to do without. And I don't know if many of us know even what that means to to do without, but mommy, I'm hungry? That gets mommy that that gets mommy moving if she if she hasn't already been moving. You know what? I just fed you breakfast. These kids eat so much. They eat so much. You gotta be on your game. When Britney goes to Costco and they go shopping in grocery warehouse, I mean, they come home. As soon as that paycheck gets in Wayne's account, it's time to blast. First place is the grocery store. First place is food. I mean, six kids, now seven on the way. And so we have much, much, much to be thankful for. These children are dying in their mother's bosom, which means these little infants who are a span long, there's no milk in their mommy's breast anymore because mommy hasn't been able to eat and trying to just keep them alive. What things shall I take to witness for thee? What things shall I liken to thee, oh daughter of Jerusalem? What shall I equal to thee that I may comfort thee, oh virgin daughter of Zion? For thy breach is great like the sea, who can heal thee? And so there's no comfort. There's a flood the sea has gone past its bounds, its border. There's a flood of the ocean coming against them, and there's nobody that can stop it. It's unstoppable what's happening. And you look at the plight of this and how terrible this is, but there's hope in Zechariah eight verse five, it says in the future, during the during the restoration of the nation of Israel, that God's gonna cause the future boys and girls to be playing in the streets of Jerusalem once again. Remember when you're growing up playing in the streets, playing baseball, basketball, football, riding your bike in the street, all the neighborhood kids come over and all, and just amazing. That's gonna happen again. And thy prophets have seen vain. Look at that. Thy prophets, your false prophets, have seen nothing. They bring forth doctrines of demons, Paul told Timothy. Doctrines of demons, fables that seduce people and foolish things. That's why there's Vicky and Rob went on a trip and they saw Christian television, and they expressed what I feel when when you guys tell me about what's going on, you know, at various churches or what people are teaching or whatever, I feel ashamed. I feel ashamed to be a Christian, to be a pastor when I see that stuff because I know the unbelievers want authenticity. They want something real. And many of them see through it, and and they don't want any part of Christianity if that's what Christianity is. And it it's just it's shameful. Pastor, there's a in the Midwest, there's a new church going up, and it's kind of chain, and it's called brand new church. It's called the brand new church. Huge. Huge parking lots, brand new buildings. They're going up everywhere. And the the thesis of it is they have the Mickey Mouse commandments. I'm not kidding. And, apparently, the person who started this chain is a Disney person. Oh my. He's a Disney past executive or something really taking off. And some of the good churches that we know of there, they said we're we're actually losing our young people who are going to this brand new church, and they're just popping up everywhere. I mean, as we were traveling, we're like, oh my gosh. There's another under construction Called brand new. Called the brand new church, and they they have the Mickey Mouse commandments. What what is that? It's what they make and they're not even based on the real commandments. They're new commandments. I never even heard of Mickey Mouse, Kenora. Well, it it's there's you know, everybody has to have their shtick. Yeah. Their shtick. Yeah. And it's really it's very upsetting to the people because they're they're pretty you know, a lot of people there are pretty sheltered. They don't live the reality. We live here where we see the evil all the time. They're just like, that's not their reality. I mean, they know what's going on, but it's not their reality. But they're seeing this happening, and it's it's very upsetting to them. It it just it it blew us away. Because I we probably saw eight to 10 of them just everywhere. So I I would think there's a whether it's Disney or BlackRock or some NGO that's funding it, you know, underwriting it. Yeah. Somebody's. Yeah. Yeah. Underwriting it. Yeah. It's it's it's hard to my buddy, Eric, down in Tennessee, he's got a bunch of them around him, and it's smoke and mirrors. It's fog machines. It's there's no substance. There's no, you know, real Christianity. It's it's fluff. It's just fluff. It's cotton candy. So that's that's interesting to see that taking place now. Rob's mom was a part of the Mickey Mouse Club. Right, Rob? Mhmm. What what's the standard? What's the rules of engagement? I have no idea. M I c k e y That's my o u s c h. Wear the wear the hat hat. I mean yeah. But that's that's that's viable. I mean, what could be more juvenile, more shallow. Let let me let me read you a passage. I got I gotta stop here. This this ministered to me. Hebrews chapter five. Turn to Hebrews five. This is how I respond as a pastor. Hebrews five. I posted this last week. I was trying to understand. I was trying to understand why would Jesus need to suffer? I get it at the cross. Right? K? But in our growth as Christians, why the necessity of going through suffering? What why is suffering so a part of being a Christian? Notice verse five. So also Christ glorified not himself to be made a high priest, but he that said unto him, thou art my son, today have I begotten thee. And he saith also in another place, thou art a priest forever after the order of Melchizedek, who in the days of his flesh, Jesus took on the form of a man, the babe of Bethlehem. He lived thirty three years in this tabernacle of flesh, who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications, with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death. So that's a picture of Jesus in the Garden Of Gethsemane. Right? He's praying. He's sweating as it were great drops of blood. And he's crying. God's able to save him from death. Father, if you're willing, remove this cup from me, but nevertheless not as I will, but thy will be done. It was heard that he feared. So he's got this reverence for God, this awe for his father. I do always those things that please the father. Right? Though he were a son, and the and the I mean, how much more are you and I? This is God the son. Though he were a son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered. That's radical to me. How much more us? Now that Mickey Mouse church, there's no mention of suffering in that list of things there. It's all about entertainment and pleasure and your best life now. That's what sells. Joel Olsteen's proven it. But it's antithetical to real Christianity. So watch this. And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that what? Obey him. The obedience. The obedience of faith in Romans one. Called of God a high priest forever after the order of Mephesic. Now watch this. This this is what we're this is who we are. Of whom we have many things to say and hard to be uttered, seeing you are dull of hearing. There's a whole lot of people I can't reach. And they don't like me. They come they hit the they come in, they're gone. They're looking for the Disneyland church. And I used to call Southern California, some of us used to call Southern California Christian Disneyland. Why is that? Because we have every ride and attraction that you would ever want as a Christian. Big churches, big worship teams, good sound systems, harvest crusades, baptisms of Pirate's Cove, movie produced, every ride and attraction and whistle and everything you'd ever want as a Christian is available to you. Christian radio, Christian teaching, everything. Right, Cath? Yes. Then you come to this desert here, this spiritual desert with a phony Christianity. And you know the difference because you've tasted and seen the real, and you're just amazed at how many go for the baloney. I mean, do you want a baloney sandwich or do you want a filet mignon? What do you want? Do you want Bill Gates bugs or do you want the real meat of God's word? What what does he want? What what do you have an appetite for? So notice what he says here, of whom we have many things to say and hard to be uttered, seeing you're dull of hearing. Well, pastor, it's getting late and I gotta get up at three in the morning. I'm really tired. For when for the time you ought to be teachers. So you've been a Christian how long? How long? And Vicky, they have a a what? A rested A rested state of development. You've been a Christian forty years, but you're still a babe in Christ? Did your pastor take you through the Bible? No. I had a guy come up to me, and I I love this man, but he said to me, pastor, do you understand that some of these pastors don't teach the book of Revelation because they haven't been taught the book of Revelation. Nice look. And and I'm thinking in my head, study to show yourself approved on the God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. If you're gonna be a pastor, you better be a student. You better study the book or get out, go do something else. Do you know a lot of the guys are taking marketing classes and acting classes and drama classes? Because they're drama queens. They're not bible teachers. They don't teach the bible. For the time from when the time you ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again the first principles of the oracles of God and are become such as have need of milk and not of solid food. One thing I know about the people leaving the church, they've been taught the word of God. And wherever they go, they're gonna be able to pass on what they learned. Right? That happens all the time. For everyone that uses milk is unskillful in the word of God, unskillful in the word of righteousness, free as a babe. So they don't have a working knowledge of the scripture. They don't know how to articulate the gospel or to explain the rapture or explain the book of Revelation or the tribulation period or any truth. But solid food belongs to them that are a full age. You wanna grow up? I don't wanna be a part of the Disney brand new church, you know? Why would I do that? Even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern. Remember COVID? Why didn't people why couldn't they discern between good and evil? Right there. Because they weren't taught the word of God. Mhmm. They couldn't discern good and evil because they didn't have a working knowledge of the scripture. And whose fault is that? The pastors. Who was Paul rebuking in Acts chapter 20? The the elders, he brought them there and he said, hey, I'm not I'm innocent for the blood of all of you because for the space of three years, I've given you the full counsel of God night and day with tears. So after my departing, you're gonna have grievous wolves enter in from within and from without. Take heed over the flock that was purchased with the blood. Right? Blood bought. Take heed. Right? These aren't your sheep. So that's and and again, Jesus is saying to Peter, do you love me? Feed my sheep. That's the job description, guys. Right? Mhmm. Alright. But thank you, Robbie. You got me off on a tangent there. Hey, Robbie. Good one. Thy prophets have seen vain and foolish things for thee, and they have not uncovered thine iniquity and turned so uncover your iniquity. Remember when we talk about conviction of the Holy Spirit? When we teach the Bible, the word of God convicts of sin. So what he's saying here, the prophets have seen vain and foolish things for thee and they have not uncovered thine iniquity. I'm not the holy spirit. It's not my job to sin sniff and point out all the sins that you're committing. My job is to simply teach the word of God and the word of God through the Holy Spirit convicts you. And then you come to me and you say, who told you that? How'd you know that? I didn't know that. Did my wife tell you that? No. I didn't know. I just know you're as big a wretch as as I am. I just that's what I know. Exactly. You're not the only one, bro. Alright. They have not uncovered your iniquity. And so they're it's the opposite. They wanna cover you in your sin. David tried to cover himself. Whosoever tries to cover himself isn't gonna prosper. God in his grace and mercy sent Nathan the prophet and said, David, you're the man. It's time for you to repent. You're miserable enough in your sin for a year trying to cover your adultery and your murder, David. Most loving thing God can do is to is to send somebody to deliver you from yourself and come to that place of repentance. To turn away, that means repentance. Your captivity, you're in bondage to sin. But have seen for the false burdens and causes of banishment. So you're living a lie. There's no truth. There's no repentance. All that pass by clap their hands. So picture the cross. Picture Jesus upon the cross. The the enemies of the cross will mock you. Before Jesus healed Jairus' daughter, what did he do? He mocked the mourners, didn't he? He removed the mockers. They were the Yeah. Mourners. Yeah. They're hard mourners. Before I do this miracle, you guys aren't worthy to see this miracle. I'm gonna remove you unbelievers. Right? Yeah. I wanna remove you. And so he says, all that pass by clap their hands at thee. They hiss and they wag their head at the daughter of Jerusalem. In Matthew twenty seven thirty nine, that's what they were doing. They were hissing. They were mocking. You that destroys the temple in three days, you know, save yourself. If you're the Christ, come down from the cross. You know? And they knew his claims, and they're mocking him. That's the voice of the devil. The devil the devil how many times did the devil try to kill Jesus? Remember how they tried to push him over the over the edge and he just went right through the crowd and left? Until that hour of darkness, until that hour, Judas, that what you do, do quickly because this is the hour of darkness, he's invincible. It's not gonna happen. The devil wanted to keep Jesus from the cross, wanted to kill Jesus before he even get to the cross. Right? And then at the cross, he's thinking, I gotta keep him down once he did die. He thought he he thought he might have won. But, no, he didn't win. He couldn't hold them down. Right? And the devil can't hold you down. And so he's saying Jerusalem is saying, is this the city that men call the perfection of beauty, the joy of the whole whole earth? I thought you were a Christian. The enemy mocks. If you're the son of God, come down, save yourself. All thy enemies have opened their mouth against thee. They hiss. They gnash the teeth. Remember how they gnashed their teeth upon Jesus? Remember how they gnashed their teeth upon Stephen? Stephen, the first martyr? And they pulled Jesus' beard out. Do know what kind of disfigurement pulling a man's beard out would be? You know? Reach over and grab somebody's beard, pull on it. No, just kidding. And a cat of nine tails, the beating with rods, the beating with fists, the putting a bag of blindfold and not being able to move with the punches. John in Revelation five said he saw him as a lamb that had been slain. Jesus in his glory still bearing the scars, the disfigurement that our sin caused. So they hiss, they gnash with the teeth, they say, we have swallowed her up. Certainly this is the day that we look for. We have found, we have seen it. The Lord has done that which he had purposed. Remember back in verse eight that he purposed everything according to his purpose. I think it's verse eight, wasn't it? Yeah. And God has a plan and a purpose for your life and for my life. God has a plan and a purpose for the tribulation period. Everything is falling into place. Things aren't falling apart. It's falling into place. And he has fulfilled his word, praise the Lord, that he had commanded. Jeremiah's been telling you guys this. He's fulfilled his word, and God will fulfill his word in your life and my life that he has commanded in the days of old. He has thrown down and has not pitied. He has caused thine enemies to rejoice over thee. He has set up the horn of thine adversaries, so you're overwhelmed. Now notice the people wailing. Their heart cried unto the Lord, O wall of the daughter of Zion, let tears run down like a river day and night. Give thyself no rest, lest not the apple of thine eyes, eyes cease. And so Israel's the apple of God's eyes, your little your little that circle thing there in your eye. And arise, cry out in the night, in the beginning of the watches, pour out thine heart like water before the face of the Lord. Lift up thine hands toward him for the life of thy young children who faint for hunger in top of every street. So prayer, little bit too late, guys. It's too late, but this is what you still need to do. You need to wail, you need to pray. And who knows that you might not turn the heart of God. The children are starving. Behold, oh Lord, and consider to whom thou has done this. Shall the women eat their fruit? Shall the women eat their own children, Lord? Children of a span, a span, little babies, little infants? Children of a span long, shall the priest and the prophet be slain in the sanctuary of the Lord? This is devil times. This is demonic times. There's cannibalism going on. They're eating the children. The young and the old lie on the ground in the streets. My virgins and my young men are fallen by the sword. Thou has slain them in the day of their anger. Thou has killed and not pitied the young and the old, the rich, the poor, all of them. Thou has called as in a solemn day my terrors round about so that in the day of the Lord, the day of the Lord, the tribulation period, right? But picture up ahead what's gonna happen. In the day of the Lord's anger, none escaped. There's no escape, Bill Gates. There's no escape, George Soros. It's appointed unto all men once to die and then the judgment. You're all gonna be judged. You're just pawns that God is using to set the stage for Jesus to return and to destroy your champion with the brightness of his coming. Amen. Right? Not escaped. What was that? Not one unbeliever will be left. Not one. Not one. Right? Believers. Just believers. Only believers enter into the millennium. Yep. Not escaped or remained. So the most important thing in life to be is what? A believer. You need to know that your name's written in lamb's book of life, that your sins have already been paid for and forgiven. After that, it's like, you know what? Lord, whatever. None escaped or remained. Those that I have swaddled and brought up has mine enemy consumed. And that's the hardest thing is to watch your children, those you've swaddled, those you've cared for, those you brought up, those you invested in greatly, to watch them be destroyed is just overwhelming. It just overwhelms your heart. But the good news is God loves our children more than we love them. Right? And and he's got a plan and a purpose for each of them. And our job is to continue to pray, to continue to intercede, continue to live the Christian life in such a way that it provokes jealousy in others that they would want to know Jesus the way that he's revealed himself to us. Lord, there's so much more we could learn. Lord, continue to be our teacher. Continue to give us the appetite, the desire to to learn to man shall not live by bread alone by by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God. Lord, give my children, grandchildren, family members, friends, all of us an appetite, Lord, to be in your word, to be students of your word, to feast upon your word, that we might not accumulate knowledge puffing up, but Lord, it's not just external knowledge, but intimate knowledge. The gnosis, the experiential getting to know you, as Paul said, that I might know him, the power of his resurrection, the fellowship of his sufferings being made conformable unto his death. Lord, we want to know you. So help us Lord as we're getting into your word, as we're praying, as we're fellowshipping, as we serve you. Give us great opportunities this week, Lord, to share your love. Be with Robbie as she gets her house ready. Be with Ronnie and Fred as they load up the U Haul on Friday. Be with John Jogers as he seeks your face about your plans and purposes for him. And Lord, we thank you for Facebook. We thank you for social media that even though they're moving away, Lord, we can still connect. We can still be with them. And it's not all for evil. These these technologies can be used for good. And I just thank you for the time that we got to know each one of them. And I just thank you and praise you for bringing in new people that we get to get to know. And I pray that you continue to build your church, Lord, that the gates of hell not prevail. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen. Amen.
