Jeremiah 44-45
Pastor Rick Beaudry expounds Jeremiah 44-45, recounting the remnant who fled to Egypt, their idolatry to the queen of heaven, and their stubborn refusal to repent despite Jeremiah's warnings and God’s judgment. He connects those ancient warnings to modern spiritual complacency, false prophets, and the temptation to trust worldly systems instead of God, with sober talk about famine, sword, and societal collapse as consequences of turning from the Lord. Using Baruch as a touchstone, he urges us to walk by faith, remain humble, and be vessels of honor rather than chasing worldly greatness. The message closes with a call to repentance, spiritual vigilance, and steadfast reliance on God amid coming trials.
