Live from Bremerton. It's Monday night in Jeremiah 43. Rob and Vicky's home, and, we're here. We're gonna start with worship. We're gonna pray. So those of you on Facebook, we welcome you. Father, we come before you, and we thank you for the nice meal we're able to have and fellowship and prayer. We lift up those that are sick in the body that aren't able to be here, and we pray for your healing touch be upon their on their hearts and lives and bring that healing. And, Lord, we just commit this Bible study and time of worship unto you, and we ask for your anointing and blessing, refresh and strengthen us. Speak to us, Lord. Give us ears to hear. In Jesus' name, amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Draw me close to you. Never let me go. Thanks, Rob. You're welcome. Alright. Jeremiah 43. Any announcements? Anything going on? The rapture's coming. Yeah? Do you know when? Soon. Soon. Soon. June 21, but I'm not telling. I'm not telling. Is it before the tribulation? Oh, are we doing that pre trib? What's true? Whatever trib thing that everybody sleeps on? When? Right now? Date setters. Alright. Father, thank you for the time that we could spend having a meal together, the fellowship, feeling so much like a family, a family of believers, Lord, coming out of the cold, out of the crazy world out there. And and, Lord, you give us such a peace, a peace that surpasses all understanding, Lord, guarding our hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. And, Lord, we desire to know you better, we pray that you reveal yourself to us and teach us tonight. Lord, be our teacher. In Jesus' name, amen. So when it came to pass that when Jeremiah had ceased speaking unto all the people, all the words of the Lord their God for which the Lord their God had sent him to them, even all these words. So, Jeremiah's gonna spend forty years in this ministry when he was just a child. The Lord said, before I formed you in your mother's womb, I I knew you and ordained you a prophet unto God. And and he's been very, very faithful, been giving them God's word the whole time. In the previous chapter, there's a remnant of people here that Nebuchadnezzar allowed to remain in the land. And and, basically, Nebuchadnezzar's letting them know, God's letting them know that if you stay there in Jerusalem, you're gonna be blessed. God says, you know, I'll I'll take care of you and such. And, we saw last week with the importance of abiding. If you just abide there in Jerusalem, God's saying, I'll protect you. I'll provide for you. I'll do everything you need. This this little remnant that's left over, from May when Nebuchadnezzar destroyed the temple, destroyed the city of Jerusalem, and just wiped everything out. So there's this little group there, and they they said, we're gonna pray. You know, we want you to pray, Jeremiah. Pray pray to God for us. And whatever God tells you that we're to do, we will do. But they're hypocrites. They it says in verse 20 of the previous chapter, for ye dissembled in your hearts when ye sent me unto the lord, god saying, pray for us under the Lord, our God, and according unto all that the Lord God shall say, so declare us, and we will do it. So they're lying. They already had determined in their heart what they were gonna do. They were just wanting God's stamp of approval. And and so Jeremiah lets them know, abide. This is what God's saying, abide, and they decide not to abide. And so Jeremiah, as far as he can do, anytime as a parent, as a teacher, as a pastor, all you can do is give them the word of God, give them the truth, model the truth as best you can, keep pointing people to Jesus, and, you know, they'll always find fault with us, with you, but they can't find fault with Jesus. And you just keep giving them God's word, and not in a legalistic way, but in a loving way. And ultimately, you have to respect, as God does, their power to choose and their free will. May not understand why they reject God's word, may not understand why they, over a period of time, continue to reject God's word, continue to move in the direction of idolatry, can be incomprehensible. But Jeremiah can't worry about how many people are showing up or if they like him or if they don't like him or what do the opinion polls say. Jeremiah simply has to be faithful to what God has called him to do. And so to each of us, we can't force anybody to love us, including our our spouses, our kids, or anybody. And the devil try and, you know, cause division with people that you're close with and and try and get you off your game, get you distracted, get you neutralized, get you to where you leave your post, you leave your duty. So it all comes down to being in God's will. What is God's will for you individually? Jeremiah is able to say, as Paul said to the church of Ephesus, you know, for the space of three years, night and day with tears, you know, I gave you the full counsel of God. So now the responsibility, the onus is on you. You have been told, and so your blood is on your own head. So he's given a picture of Ezekiel three Ezekiel 33 where if we don't warn people, then their blood's on us. But if we warn people and let them know what God says in his word concerning the gospel, concerning eternal life and all, then our hands are cleansed. Pilate tried to wash his hands of Jesus, but there's no place in neutrality with Pilate. He's responsible for rejecting and not doing that which is right. But once you've exhausted your duty and you do what the best you can as unto the Lord, not unto men, Colossians, Paul said, whatsoever you do, do it heartily as unto the Lord, not unto men. So you don't give a half hearted effort. You don't you just do it like you're ministering to Jesus is your focus. I'm doing this for Jesus. And and Jesus wants me to minister to these people in his name with my whole heart, not half heartedly. And then, you know, you remember Jesus saying, you know, woe unto the Capernaum, woe unto the Bethsaida, you know, woe unto these cities where he did the his greatest miracles. If, you know, if Sodom and Gomorrah would have seen what happened here, they'd remain to this day. If Tyre and Sidon would have, you know, seen these miracles and and what was happening here, it would still remain to this day. You know? But you guys, children of Israel, you are so incredibly blessed, and you just don't get it. You know? You just it's it's just not computing, so it breaks your heart. So Jeremiah, he's free. He's given the full counsel. He's not a false prophet. He's a true prophet of God and that he's been faithful, and that's what we wanna hear the Lord say, well done thou good and faithful servants. And then spoke Azariah, the son of Hoshiah, and Johanan, the son of Kiriah, and all the proud men, saying unto Jeremiah, thou speakest falsely. The Lord our God has not sent thee to say, go not into Egypt to sojourn there. So they said, for us. He spent ten days praying. He got a word from the Lord. He gave him the word that the Lord gave him. And now these guys' first description we get of them is that they're proud men. What's it mean to be a proud man or a proud woman? What's that mean? Stubborn. Is that a good quality or a bad quality? Focused on yourself. Selfish? Yeah. Pride comes before the fall. Before destruction. Before destruction. I've been before destruction. Just try to hide it. Proverbs sixteen eighteen. Before. Pride comes what? Before destruction. And a what? Before destruction. And a haughty spirit before a fall. One of the greatest examples of someone that fell because of pride is who? Let's say Brenda and I were talking to him about Lucifer. Right? In Isaiah 14. Right? And and so Lucifer had had good ends. You know? He he was an exalted chair. Many feel because of Ezekiel 28 and Isaiah 14 that he possibly was a one of the cherub angels around the throne of God, you know, leading worship and all. Super beautiful and all of that until he was lifted up with pride. You know? And so his I will statements, his five I will statements, I'll be as the basically, I'll be God. And the Lord says, you're gonna be thrust out. So he's an angel that's puffed up, and his puffing up drew one third of the stars, one third of the other angels with him. Ain't that amazing that his coup against God, his rebellion against God would be such that he could influence as a Instagram influencer or whatever, you know, one third of the stars. And so we call them demons, fallen angels. And but the pride of men, God resists the proud and does what? Gives grace to the humble. Grace to the humble. So what's the what's grace mean? God riches at Christ's expense. God riches at Christ's expense. So unmerited favor. And so these proud men so God resists the proud if I'm in a proud state, in a proud condition, you know, God doesn't even hear my prayers. Right? But God many times will pass the most gifted, the most eloquent, the most everything because they're too prideful and they'll steal the glory. They'll take the glory unto themselves. So God likes to use, as we saw before, the foolish things to confound the wise, the base things, things that are not does God use. And lest they be puffed up with pride. Not to lay hands suddenly on any man, a novice, because the tendency to be lift up with pride. So the school of hard knocks a lot of times precedes, you know, serving the Lord, going through times of breaking, times of, you know, being emptied of ourselves so that God can fill and use us. And when he does fill and use us, when he comes to Moses when Moses is 80 years old, two thirds of his life is gone. At that time, Moses is content with just being a shepherd on the backside of the deserts of Midian, tending the sheep of his father-in-law Jethro and married and a couple kids. And by that time, he doesn't have confidence. He doesn't have confidence. Bible says Moses was the meekest man, you know? He doesn't have confidence in his own abilities, and God tell him to go tell Pharaoh, let my people go. He says, I've got a speech impediment. I can't speak. Well, who put that tongue in your mouth and all? But Stephen tells us when Stephen was describing Moses that he was once a very eloquent man, very powerful, gifted in the natural kind of a man coming out of Egypt in this first forty years. But the Lord spent forty years emptying them, and then appeared to him in a burning bush one day. And then he spent the last forty years of his life, you know, dealing with a bunch of mixed multitude whiners and complainers. You know? And so but nevertheless, the Lord prepared ahead of time. When he see Joseph, lest he be puffed up with pride, We see Joseph sold by his brothers for 20 pieces of silver, sold and driven into Egypt. So he's 17 years old when that happens. And then he rises to a place of prominence, second to that of only pharaoh when he's 30 years old, same age that Jesus started his public ministry. And his brothers came later and he says, all that you meant, you meant it for evil, but God meant it for good to save many people this day. We saw the Lord reject King Saul when the children of Israel, when they wanted a king to be like all the other nations. And God told Samuel, they haven't rejected you, Samuel. They've rejected me because they enjoyed a a theocracy where God was leading them. And and so David, when God rejected king Saul, God instructed Samuel to anoint David as the next king, but then David ran from king Saul for ten years, a marked man, and David being humbled, you know, powerful in that he mightily used of god in slaying Goliath. And they sang songs in the top 40. Saul has killed his thousands and David's his tens of thousands. So in a lot of way, exhibiting great prowess and abilities and things like that, and yet the Lord used that ten years to prepare. When when David had Solomon, Solomon was the wisest guy on the planet, and Solomon started out okay, but then Solomon became apostate in that he had 700 wives, 300 concubines, And many of those wives were foreigners, foreign women that brought their idolatrous practices to Jerusalem, you know, to where Solomon is. And then Solomon began to build temples for them and began to introduce Israel, David being a man after God's own heart, but Solomon bringing in these heretical doctrines and and and idolatry. And and then so as he passes on, he's got a son named Rehoboam. And Rehoboam had not been prepared to be a king. And so you watch all this glory, all this greatness of of the nation of, you know, Judah and Israel as one under David, a man after God's own heart and peace and all that. And then Solomon coming in with all the wealth, amass, and everything, able to build the temple in just the glory years of Israel, but in a time of great prosperity, but no preparation for who's going to succeed him. And Rehoboam was the worst of the worst of the worst, although there's a lot of worse ones. But but they they lead the country into idolatry and they lead the country to apostasy and and also the dividing of the kingdom. The kingdom became divided, you know, thereafter. So and in many cases, it's you'll see that it's pride that brings men down. So Paul says, if any man thinks he stands, take heed lest he fall. So Paul said, I have no confidence in my flesh. In me that is in my flesh dwells no good thing. How do you stay humble so so you don't become one of those proud men? Keep getting knocked down. Keep getting knocked down? God will knock you down? Yeah. Yeah. God will do. God will keep you humble. Just get married. Just get married. Your wife will keep you humble. Kathy, I love you. I love you. Yeah. She's rolling her eyes. Well, isn't that true, though? In marriage, you you can't be selfish. You have to keep dying to self. You have to humble yourself. As soon as one or the other spouse becomes prideful and it's all about me and it's all about me, that that's a detriment to the marriage, to the harmony of the marriage. So John the Baptist, he's telling his boys, he must increase, we must decrease. And that's what the Christian life and marriage is like. It's a death to self. Right? Christ living through us. So god resists the proud, gives grace to the humble. When we die to self, you know, take our cross and follow him, now the holy spirit is living through us, and the holy spirit always points to Jesus. Right? And holy spirit's not gonna exalt man. Instead, we're gonna see the lord be exalted. So it's there's a lot of proud men today that think they're gods. Right? Now I said this on Sunday, but part of the architects of the of the whole new world order thing that we're facing today, guys that worked years and years and years, and there's quotes from Rockefeller about this, how they use the media, and they're almost you know, they think they almost got it done. But there's four key players that have died recently in the last ten years. One is Brzezinski. One is Rockefeller. The other is Kissinger, right at about a 100. And now you've got Jacob Rothschild. Maybe it'll be Soros tomorrow and Gates the next day, but Klaus Schwab or whatever. But you see them in Psalm two, oh, how the heathen rage and imagine a vain thing against the lord and against his anointed. That's pride, and that's the spirit of antichrist that's present today of people living in rebellion to God, coming up with plans in in in rebellion to God. So God uses these people according to Revelation seventeen seventeen to put within their hearts to do these things to set the stage for when Jesus comes, and he humbles everybody because every knee is gonna bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. How many of you have had a problem with pride? I haven't. Anyway, anyway here. So it's it's part of our fallen nature. And and so now in the world, they'll want to groom within the children a pride, you know, a national pride for America, personal pride, confidence, if you will. And and so another guy that I like to follow is like Peter. Peter was confident, and the Lord broke Peter, emptied Peter of his self confidence so that God could fill and use Peter. And so before the cock crows Peter, you're gonna deny that you even know me three times. So all the proud men saying unto Jeremiah, thou speakest falsely of the Lord God. So we know if God resists the proud, these guys haven't had any time with the Lord. We know that they asked Jeremiah to pray for them, so they have no access to God. So they're speaking according to themselves, and they're they're basically coming up with a conspiracy theory against God, against Jeremiah. They're conspiring. All through the Bible, there's conspiracy theories. All through the Bible, it's political. I don't know why pastors and people and Christians are afraid to engage. Every facet of society is our responsibility to speak to speak the truth. And so thou speakest falsely, the lord the lord our god has not sent thee. Now before, you know, they wanted Jeremiah to pray for him because they didn't know god. Now he's saying he's our God too, you know? And who do you think you are to come up with the only way? We we talked to God too, and God told me this. And so one of the things if you if you're ever in a church that you feel convicted and you feel a responsibility to respond, to be a doer of the word, not a hearer only, and you have that conviction, all you need to do to get out of it is say, god hasn't spoken that to me. Or do this one. I'm not called to do that. Well, what are you called to do? I'm not called to do that. Somebody else gotta do that. That's that's one of the best ways. Hey. I prayed about it. No, pastor. I think it's okay to marry this person. I think it's okay for me to live with them outside of marriage because I prayed about it. And God says it's okay. And, well, what's the word of God say about it? Well, God says it's okay, and I prayed about it. And so, you know, who are you pastor Rick to question it? So you you just say, well, what's the word of God say? You keep coming back to what's the word of God say? And you can't people marry nonbelievers and such, you know, you can't get through to them. They say they're in love. They're gonna do it their way. I'm gonna I'm gonna get them saved later, you know, that sort of thing. And a lot of these things are pretty clear, but it's pride. It's it's a pride that blinds people to the truth. Somehow, we're the exception to the rule. So thou speaks falsely. So you're telling that Jeremiah is a false prophet. The Lord of God has not sent thee to say, go not into Egypt to sojourn there. But Baruch, the son of Niriah, sets thee against us. So your secretary, Jeremiah, Baruch is setting you against us. So now they're the devil's trying to divide Baruch and Jeremiah, and they've been buddies against us to deliver us into the hand of the Chaldeans. So you guys gotta plot. Baruch is plotting to give us back to the Babylonians. So these guy you know, they're they're speaking babble. They're come up with a fairy tale, basically, to deliver us into the hand of the Chaldeans that they might put us to death and carry us away captives into Babylon. Well, didn't you hear what Jeremiah said to you last week? God's saying that he'll take care of you. Why would you think God's gonna trick you? I haven't lied to you all these years and give you back to the Babylonians. The Babylonians are the ones that said you could be here, that you could stay here, and God said you could stay here. And so and that they might put us to death and carry us away captives into Babylon. So they're filled with fear. They want control. They wanna do it in the arm of the flesh. People have been starving. People have been dying. It's horrific what the Babylonians did to many of them. Some of them don't have the measure of faith to trust god. They don't have a relationship with god to get through these things, so they're gonna rely upon themselves. And the common people are gonna rely upon the military force, the men with force, the proud men, the the leaders there. They're gonna just rely upon them. Let them make the decisions. And, you and I need to be, critical thinkers. If they put a guy up in front of us and they call him the Fauci and he says the science says this, you know, you and I need to research and we need to, look at the science. We cannot follow proud men in public on the television telling us to take the jab, to do this, to stay six feet away. It's a bold faced lie, but they're always trying to convince you that your breathing is causing c o two footprints that's gonna destroy the planet, and your c o two actually causes the plants to grow more. You know? So the truth is actually the opposite of what they're saying to you, but for some reason, people can't articulate, they can't explain, they can't use their words to refute what's being said, what's being lied unto them. And it's so simple. It's Christianity one zero one, but the whole world goes crazy because these lies upon lie upon lie upon lie, and even now, when there's just thousands and thousands, even millions of people dead because of this conspiracy against humanity, people don't wanna talk about it. They're afraid to talk about it. It's it's bizarre. It's the most bizarre thing in my lifetime. It's like people are Barabbi's posting all the time. Die suddenly. Die suddenly. Die suddenly. In the prime of their lives. In the prime of their lives. There's no explanation. There's no prosecution of Fauci or Burke or or any of them. You know? Fights or any of them. And it's undeniable. It's undeniable truth. You know? But it's the pride of man, isn't it? It's just it's mind boggling to me. So so Johannan, the son of Kiria, and all the captains of the forces so here, that word forces, military guys are left, and all the people believe not the voice of the Lord. That's a really difficult thing for a man of God to lead unbelievers. Very difficult. Very difficult to be in the presence of unbelievers who don't believe the mouth of the Lord. And on the flip side of that, it's a huge blessing to be with people that do. And it doesn't matter how many they are just as long as you're with some that do. You know? Because a mixed multitude is so difficult to lead. It's factions. It's division in the church. You've got those on this side that believe, and you got those on that side that don't believe. And, boy, it's just it's it's weary. That's what happened to Moses. So weary, the mixed multitude, saying, let's go back to Egypt. Let's go back to Egypt. We had remember we used to have savory food there, the spicy foods, and we had fish, and we had all sorts of good food there. We're tired of this manna. We're tired of it. We want something spicier. We wanna be entertained. We want smoke machines. We wanna feel good. We wanna have goosebumps, you know? And we're tired of Jesus. We're bored with Jesus. We're bored with the word of God. What they're basically confessing is they're unbelievers. If they don't love the word of God, if they don't love the bread of life or the the milk of the word, they're unbelievers. Now you're trying to entertain unbelievers and you're trying to make unbelievers do what you want them to do as a social club. That's I would never want that duty. I would never want that job. So part of what you want in a church is a constant flow of people leaving. That's what you want. It's a filter. It's a filter. It's a it's a filter that that purges. We would call them in the book of acts in acts five, when Anais and Sapphira died, we'd call them the blessed subtractions. Because remember, there was people added to the church, and then they multiplied, and then you have in the arithmetic, you have the subtractions. So sometimes it's great when the Lord removes a family or two or three, and they and Lord bless them wherever they go. And so what we do is we say, this is not a perfect church, and I am not a perfect pastor. And I agree with you that we just can't please you. And, you know, God probably has a church that can. You need to start looking. That's how you do it. So and that way you just freely admit. So they but if you if you have tried to please the world and bring worldly people in into the church and tell them it's deeds, get them all rallied together to go out and change the world through public service, but not teach them, not bring them a place where they're saved, you've got a you've got a division there of light and darkness and kingdom divided can't stand. And so, and then the believers that are in this situation, they're they're left in new neutral. They're not able to grow. They're not able to keep growing. And pretty soon they dry up, and you have even worse problems. So these guys are the guys with force. So if I see force here, I don't think of force in Jesus. He doesn't force anybody to go where they don't wanna go or believe or do anything. Jesus is not gonna force you to serve him. He's not gonna force you to love him. But in Islam, somebody explained to me how Islam uses force, their god. How does their god use force? Don't they kill them? Tax them or kill them. If Islam speaks of force, speaks of dominance. So they'll they'll merge with a culture like in Europe right now, and they'll peacefully coexist with them somewhat. But once they get the upper hand, once they gain a dominance, then they'll give the infidel a chance to believe, to confess, say, Allah Akbah. And if they don't, they can live in that region by paying a tax for a while. But ultimately, Islam speaks of force. They're gonna force you to become Islamic. And Will they let you leave? They leave all the time. People leave all the time. But, you know, that's part of the Arab Spring that Obama did when he destabilized the region by removing various leaders, Mubarak from Egypt and, you know, Saddam Hussein from Iraq. These guys were questionable, but one thing they were is they were strongmen, CIA strongmen, and they didn't allow the Muslims, Islamic fanatics to prey upon the minority Christians that were in the region, old churches and such. So when Obama destabilized these, General Casey said we're gonna invade, I think he said, five nations over the next seven years or seven nations over the next five years. And we didn't have that kind of policy before where we just invade and regime change, but all of a sudden now we were. And and that destabilization of the area with Qaddafi, Saddam Hussein, Mubarak, it lent itself toward a fanaticism. And people forget how many Christians remember those ones in the orange suits at the water's edge getting their heads cut off? In Nigeria right now, there presently are, but you have these Coptic Christians living in Egypt and such that were being ministered to by satellite radio, satellite television. And so a big move of God's spirit in that way, but a destabilization of the area, so forcing. So when you see ISIS does anybody believe that ISIS was developed organically on its own? White tennis shoes, everybody in white tennis shoes and Toyota pickup trucks. Where'd they get that money? Where'd they get all that? That was a creation of Obama, ISIS. And and so they went through the region desecrating old churches. And so as far as people leaving, I think there's over 250,000 people that moved out of the area and moved into Europe and around the world, believers that, you know, that escaped. So, you would you'd wanna get away from these guys. But we as Christians, when we come in in our mission, if we come into a community, we don't force anybody to believe. And we don't lord over people in our position, we serve. So we look at the example of Jesus, he came not to be ministered unto, but to minister and give his life a ransom for many. And the greatest among you be the servant of all. So in order for love to be meaningful, it has to be based upon free will. Free will. I can't force Kathy to love me. Kathy's gotta want to love me. It's gotta be in her heart. And God wants me from my heart to love him supremely. He doesn't want me to try and work him, manipulate him. He doesn't want me to try to make God my debtor so I get something back that I'll do something, but he'll give me something back. He wants a love relationship where he can pour out his blessings upon my life because he loves me because of grace, not a works relationship, a love relationship. So God will never be your debtor. Never ever ever ever. And so so these guys are gonna force them, and the people obeyed not the voice of the Lord to dwell in the land of Judah. And how tragic this is. And we see last week where we talked about those that forsake those that observe lying vanities in Jonah two verse eight. Those that observe lying vanities out of idolatry or lies, the devil's greatest weapon, and we're seeing it today, is deception, lying vanities, emptiness. They that observe lying vanities forsake their own mercy. God wants to be merciful, But if we tell him no, no, then there's a fearful looking to of judgment. Judgment's gonna come. And so that's what's happened here is they God could have been merciful to them, could have blessed them, protect them, provided for them, simply abide in him, but you get outside that place of protection, you get outside that place of abiding, and now you're susceptible to all sorts of enemies that are gonna try and, you know, take you down. So you exercise your free will. But Johannan, the son of Kiriath, and all the captains of the forces, there's that word again, so the military, took all the remnant of Judah that were returned from all nations when they had been driven to dwell in the land of Judah. So they're just taking them. They're running them to ruin and they're quenching the Holy Spirit. God could have done some great things with a small group of people there in Judah. Even though we may not have a strong, powerful, large church here in Kitsap County in the in the area of the least church, large metropolitan city of Seattle. Robbie says we live in Sodom and Gomorrah. Right? We do? We do. But doesn't God always have a witness? Amen. Doesn't he always have his people to remind those that are rejecting of who he is and that he loves them and but also that they're responsible, that they're responsible. So even in Sodom and Gomorrah, you saw the Sodomites get angry at Lot when Lot was finally standing up saying, no, you're not gonna take these two men, these angels who look like men. Right? No, you're not gonna do that. And they who is this foreigner? Who is this guy? You know? And he was sitting at the city gate. He was a mover and shaker by then, one of the government officials. So he's a witness. He's a witness there to Sodom and Gomorrah that, you know, what you're doing is wrong. And John the Baptist was a witness to Herod. So even if we're a small little group, doesn't mean we can't be loving and kind and have a great Christian experience and watch people grow and protect our kids from predators and and make sure that each and every person has a chance to grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ. Can't force people that don't wanna be there to be there, but those that wanna be there, you can have a genuine real Christian experience and genuine real Christian church. The word people use today, authenticity. We want it authentic. And it can be authentic and it can be organic and it can be live and it can be one that produces fruit and where God can transform and change people's hearts and lives. Where sin does abound, like Robbie says, we live in Sodom and Gomorrah. Where sin does abound, grace does much more abound. Right? So I don't ever worry about how dark it is here. Only thing I concern myself with, and I agree, it's so much fun to be a part of a Jack Hibbs type church. That's the kind of church I came out of. And pastor Chuck's church at the time was 25,000 people. Jack's around 15,000, but not to mention all the other ones everywhere, everywhere. But what happens when you're in a church like that, there can be a Gavin Newsom, you know, in Sacramento, and there can be liberals in San Francisco, but they're a long way away. You're you're 500 miles from that. You're in Orange County, and everybody's affluent, and churches are huge. So now you have all the bells and the whistles. You you got a radio station. You got a conference center. You got good seats and parking lot, good reputation, and you're not feeling like a red haired stepchild. You know? You know what I mean? You're not you're not feeling like you're just this outcast in the business community or the whole community. You know? It has a name. It has a reputation. It has a I mean, heck, if you go to Jack Hibbs Church, do you know how many people are saying, my pastor prayed at congress the other day? That's a big deal. That's a huge deal. And they know pastor Chuck all over the place. You got the celebrity pastor, and everybody benefits from the success of that pastor in that church. Everybody's in on it. Everybody's enjoying, you know, the all of the blessings that god's pouring out upon that church. Everybody's a partaker of it. You know? And it's it's a and and faith is infectious. It's like, look what God's doing here. Now one of the things they don't realize is if we took any of them and brought them up here, they'd run back there so fast. And they do. When they go to the East Coast, they run back to Costa Mesa so fast. When they go you know, if none of them will go to San Francisco and try. They won't go into these kind of regions because there's a lot of people that hate you and have no intention of changing. There are strongholds of liberal, ungodly people. And if you come into their stronghold like for instance, some of the young people were going to West Hollywood when I was at Costa Mesa, and they were going to West Hollywood to witness to the gay community in West Hollywood. Wow. And the West Hollywood gay community got very indignant and angry, so they came with with signs at Costa Mesa on Sunday and surrounded the church. And, basically, they were saying the same thing that Sodomites were saying, leave us alone. Leave us alone. That's what Sodom and Gomorrah was saying. Leave us alone. Why are you here? That's what the demons were saying, you know, at Gadara. Why are you here? Leave us alone. You've come to torment us before our time. So pastor Chuck made a made a statement. I don't want you guys going to West Hollywood anymore. You know? It was it was like, we got our little place here. Let's you know? And I think that's a huge mistake to do that. But but you can milk the cow a little longer. You can have your little party, and and you can enjoy all the amenities and all the blessings of all the people that pioneered that work years before you and all the people moving to those regions and those places and their conservative thinking and conservative politics and and all of the above until you're infiltrated and until it falls apart, I guess. But but anyway, it's a lot of fun. It's a hard, hard job in here. The weather, the spirit of antichrist that's here, the darkness, the pride of people here, the indifference. I think indifference sometimes is harder than rejection. You know? People just indifferent. Who cares? You know? And I think the hardest thing that I've dealt with of anything is a false Christianity. Just a false apostate Christianity that people here don't realize how false it is. And that's one of the hardest things to to overcome. And so just grow where you're planted, be faithful to what God's called you to do. One of the things that helps me also when I'm here is I don't look at myself as a settler. There's pioneers and there's settlers. Settlers come in and enjoy all the work that people did before them. And they're able to enjoy that community because that community has weeded out all the rebels, weeded out the bandits, all the the stuff that's bad, and established righteousness, established things that are good. You know, you gotta protect your community. Right? And you gotta protect your schools. You gotta protect where you live. You know? Hey, I live here. And I consider myself, and this is what helps me to keep going, I consider myself a missionary, that I'm just a pilgrim and a sojourner passing through. God sent me here to bear witness of the truth. If people don't like it, that's too bad. He said, I'm gonna make you my witnesses in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and the uttermost. God can make the church as big as he wants or as small as he wants, but he he's the only one that can save people. He's the only one that can change hearts. So what do we have control over? What can we do? All we can do is obey him and do what he's called us to do based upon the mission he's given us, the calling he's given us. And you can't do any more than that. It has to be a work of God's spirit. Thomas? Someone says you're either a missionary or a mission filled. Yeah. I guess so. Maybe I'm a mission filled. Right. Right. You guys need to save me. Alright. So so don't lose heart is what I'm trying to say. Jeremiah is known as a weeping prophet. And if you talk to pastors on Monday, one of the biggest thing pastors and pastors' wife deal with is discouragement. It's the hardest thing in the world. The discouragement on Monday morning. And I'm not discouraged today. I'm having a great day. But it's a real thing. There's enormous amount of pastors leaving the ministry presently, enormous amount of mental breakdowns and anxiety, pastors and pastors' wives, kids. It's a it's a huge battle zone. And I told Vicky tonight, I said, you know, Vicky, God put you on my heart to pray for you guys. I I began to realize today, it occurred to me that when Rob and Vicky step out in faith and open their home in this way, and when Vicky and Rob step out in faith to do the be not deceived, there's an entity called the devil that says, I don't like what you're doing. Mhmm. And I'm gonna start attacking you guys. And so Kathy and know full well what that's like. And so I've watched people in the church say, hey, I'd like to help with worship on Wednesday nights. And they'll step out of their comfort zone and they'll step out in faith to, you know, play the guitar and start singing. And then all hell breaks loose at home. And they quit because as soon as the spiritual attack comes against them, they're not strong enough spiritually to weather those attacks, you know. And that closer you get over the target, the number one thing the devil hates is being exposed. So as soon as you have shows like Be Not Deceived or Teach the Bible or Have Bible Studies, and it's genuinely true word of God, guess what? 20 other churches out there don't do that. They're being left alone. Right? They don't teach the word. They're not a threat to the kingdom of darkness. If you don't have trials in your life, trials in your home, difficult thing, that means the devil you're not a threat to the kingdom of darkness. But if you start to study the word, and live the word, and share the gospel, wanna serve the Lord in a genuine manner, and expose the devil with truth, you're a target. He's gonna send he's he's gonna come after you to try and neutralize you. So, woe in you when all men speak well of you, Jesus said. You know? And if they hated me, they're gonna hate you. So you're gonna have a certain level of of opposition in your life, oppression. And and so some guys will say it this way, I guess I'm doing pretty good because I must be right over the target. What's that mean to be right over the target? Ready to drop a bomb. It's like the enemy the enemy doesn't want you that close to the target. You figured it out. You found him. You're exposing him. He wants to act like he's a Christian. He wants to act like he's a angel of light, but you're exposing him. And if more people catch on, then more people are gonna be set free from his lies. Yes. Amen. That's the last four months. Alright. So so Jeremiah, just I just I I can't believe the thanks that he gets from these people. Thanks. No thanks. Or not. I I just it breaks my heart, this guy. He didn't ask for this job. He didn't ask for it. You know? God says you're gonna do it. But it's the greatest joy when he tried to refrain, when he tried not to speak in God's name because he got thrown into a hole. What happened? True misery. He got lifted out, wasn't he? That's a good mistake for me. He got lifted out eventually. He said, I'm not gonna speak in your name. Right? But what happened when he did that? Burned in you. That's right. Within, internally, he could not refrain because God's word was burning in him. So you wanna know that you're called, just try to stop. You know? Try to not do what God's called you to do, and you'd be miserable. Right? So there's a blessing in in being obedient to the Lord no matter how difficult it is. So even men and women and and children and the king's daughters and every person that Nebuchadnezzar, the captain of the guard, had left with Gedaliah. Gedaliah is dead now. Gedaliah is son of Hakim and son of Shaphan and and Jeremiah the prophet and Baruch the son of Neri. So why don't you just leave me behind? No. They're sore losers, so they're gonna take Jeremiah with them to Egypt and Baruch. I mean, why are you doing that? Let me let me stay here. You know? And Jeremiah is so incredibly faithful. Right? And John the John the beloved in in John 21, the Lord Jesus was ministering to John and and Peter was indignant and, you know, jealous. And Peter's like, well, what about, you know, what about John? And Jesus says, if I will that he tarries till I come, what is that to you? Follow thou me. Right. Right. Do your job, Peter. So Jesus told Peter, Peter, when you're young, you got to go where you would, where you wanted to go. In your ministry, very little attack against you, got to got to go where you wanted to go. But when you're old, and I'm not old yet, another shall grab hold of you and take you where you would not. Right? Mhmm. Signifying what death he would die. So the Lord is letting Peter know, Peter, that's why in John in Acts 12, Peter wasn't afraid. Why? Because he's still a young man. He listened good. So when he's laying there and James had already been dead, they killed James, they're waiting for the Easter, the Passover holiday to end, and then Herod was gonna kill Peter. Peter, rather than being the guy that would deny the Lord, you know, before the cock crows, being pacing the floor in the prison cell and anxiety and, you know, all that, he's asleep. He's peaceful. He knows that, God, you've got a problem, like Abraham when he lifted the knife to come down on Isaac. You know, oh that Ishmael might live before you. No, Ishmael is not gonna live before me. In Isaac shall your seed be called. Well, God, if I bring this knife down, you don't have Isaac anymore, you know? It's your problem, so you put it back to the Lord. It's your problem, Lord. Hebrews 11 says that Abraham believed in the resurrection. God, you're gonna have to resurrect this boy, you know, to fulfill your word. So with Peter, he's there asleep in Acts 12, and an angel comes in there and wakes him up, tells to put his shoes on and opens the doors, big jailbreak and all that. But Peter, Jesus indicated you're gonna be taken where you would not. Someone's gonna take you, gonna force you to go where you don't wanna go, Peter. And in this case here, I don't believe Jeremiah wants to go and how horrible it must be for him to leave Jerusalem and to go to Egypt and to be going with these people, but he's faithful. He's faithful to the end of being a shepherd. He's got a shepherd's heart trying to minister to the poor, minister to the weak, minister to anybody he can. But the proud guys are so prideful. They don't want the memory. It's kinda like COVID right now. There's a lady last night, and she didn't respond back to me, but it's it's in the Facebook thing. And have you had anybody come to you and admit they were wrong for taking the job? No. Mm-mm. One person. Do you hear anybody describing the regret of being wrong and saying they're sorry for being so kicking you out of the store, kicking you out of getting your haircut, kicking you out everywhere I went? Is there anybody anybody out there with enough honesty and kindness and love that would say, you know what? I was deceived. I was deceived. They don't do that, do they? They double down, most people. They double down in their pride, and they won't admit that they're dying young of cancer, dying of this, dying of that, or my family died of this, that, or the other. Because of their pride, they won't admit they're wrong. So too with Jeremiah and these guys, they don't wanna admit they're wrong. So we're gonna kill the messenger. We're gonna kill Jeremiah so we don't have to look at his face and always be reminded of how wrong we are. You know what I mean? Every time they look at him. Right? And last night, somebody said in regard to the COVID shot, there was a picture of it, boy, I I I will never do that again. I made a big mistake in doing that. And I wrote to her and I said, you were the first person I've met that has admitted. That is so honest to you. That's so kind of you. That's so humble of you to admit that. And I said that really blesses me. Now I wish Franklin Graham and Donald Trump would do the same thing. Yep. You know what I mean? Do you know how far that would go? To just humble yourself and say, I was tricked. If he was tricked. You know? I don't think he was. But You know what's amazing, though, is we I mean, we have hundreds of people who took the shot, and they're waiting for us to file a class action. But they were all found to have had a sincerely held religious belief. And all of them are like, I hate these people for what they made me do. Oh. I hate them for making me make this choice. And and I'm so angry about it. And and That's another side of it. But it but but what's interesting is they're all very professed people of faith. Now don't think it's real. And and they said no to the shot, and they lost their job. And and then they took it because they had a family. Then they did take it on. Right. So but my point is is that those who are regretful and and and, you know, resent the fact that they had to do it are those who clearly are professing their faith. They tried to walk in faith. Right. They filed the religious exemption they had. Yeah. They were found to, even by their employer, to have a sincerely held religious belief. Yeah. And those are the ones who are saying, I didn't wanna I didn't wanna do it. And, you know, I'm so sorry I did it, but I didn't have a choice. And Yeah. Have compassion toward that. That's honesty. Exactly. That's honesty. But it's really a difference for those who Franklin Graham. I mean, if it was there, I think he'd come out and say, I don't know. He's had heart surgery? Yeah. Yeah. His pericardium worked on. You know? Yeah. So Grand Jeffries. Right? Daughters. I think Grand Jeffries was supporting it. Oh, big time, enforcing it in the church to everybody else. This is what you're gonna do. And so, anyway, I see the I see a parallel there with Jeremiah. When people are wrong like that and they're in charge, they they'll continue to try to bury the guilt of what they've done. So let's kill. Let's stone Jeremiah. So Jerome says that Jeremiah was stoned at Tophanes when we get down here, and so they they stoned him. They executed him there. So they came into the land of Egypt for they obeyed not the voice of the Lord. So these people all knew the voice of the Lord. They can't tell Jeremiah that we didn't know or we think it's a lie. No. They're lying to themselves. They're lying to Jeremiah, and they they know the voice of the Lord. They know what God was requiring of them and of the Lord. So thus came they even unto Tophanes. So Tophanes is where the pharaoh's royal palace is at. And and so they're going back to Egypt, so to speak, back into the world. In Numbers one eleven verse five, the mixed multitude wanted to go back to Egypt, and they won't walk by faith. In chapter 44 verse 23, when we get there, the Lord's gonna use the word because, he's gonna let them know point blank why they're being judged, why it's not gonna work out for them in Egypt, that he's gonna send Nebuchadnezzar, and he's gonna let them know. It's because, because you didn't obey me. Then came the word of the Lord unto Jeremiah. So even when Jeremiah is in a foreign land, even when he's with the people of totally rejected, God in His grace and His mercy continues to speak to Jeremiah. So no matter where you may go, sometimes we say stuff like, hey, I sense the presence of the Lord there. Or when we're at church, we associate being at church like, alright, now I'm in the presence of the Lord. Can you ever be out of the presence of the Lord? So really what we're saying is, I sense the presence of the Lord. Lord, help us to sense your presence. Lord, we we know you're here. So you could be taken to Egypt. The Lord's still there. You could be with Daniel in Babylon and the Lord's there with you. You're a believer. He's promised he's never going to leave you nor forsake you. You could go even into hell and the Lord is there. God's everywhere. He's omnipresent. So for us, we want to spend some time with the Lord, whether it's a jail cell or wherever we're at, and nurture our relationship with him and pray, Lord, I wanna sense your presence. And I want fellowship with you. And fellowship with him is sensing his presence. So we can be distracted and not sense his presence, or we can worship and focus and adore him and go away from that sense in his presence. We can be in our car driving away, still sense his presence. Be at work, sense his presence. So we we wanna walk as close to the Lord as we can because he's always there. And sometimes we get far away from him. And so we come back to the place of worship and spend time in his word and prayer. And it's it's it's we that begin to sense his presence as we spend the time. The Lord's never left us. If if there's a distance, it's because we left him. Alright. So so they're in Egypt and taken captive, and yet God still speaks. He still cares about this group. He could have said, I'll never speak to you again. I want nothing to do with you guys. I've labored all these years. So take great stones in thine hand and hide them in the clay in the brick brick and the kiln, which is at the entrance of the pharaoh's house in Tophanes. So another sign, God's gonna give a sign, an illustration. And this illustration is that Nebuchadnezzar's throne is gonna be Nebuchadnezzar's gonna take this throne. These stones are foundational, and God's gonna bring Nebbe here. And the entrance to the Pharaoh's house in Tophanes in the side of the men of Judah. So it's symbolic that, you know what, Pharaoh's not able to save you. God's gonna bring another king here, Nebuchadnezzar, to subdue you guys. And say unto them, thus saith the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, behold, I will send and take Nebuchadnezzar, the king of Babylon, and notice that, my servant. Job, my servant, Job, my servant Moses. I wanna be the Lord's servant. Nebuchadnezzar is the Lord's servant. And Charles Spurgeon said, if God has called you to be one of his servants, don't lower yourself to become a king. You're the Lord's servant. Better be a doorkeeper in the house of the Lord. Right? You know what I mean? And so now in in the eighteen hundreds, there was an archaeologist named Flindr Petrie. And he apparently went and did some digging here in Tophanes in this general area of the royal palace, and he found these stones that Nebuchadnezzar I mean, that Jeremiah had had set there. In Revelation two thirteen in Pergamum, you remember that Hitler had his architects take up the throne where Satan's seat dwells, Satan's throne in Pergamum, city of Pergamum. You know what he did with those? Because the Nazis were real big into the occult. Right? Brought him back to Germany and built that big what do you call is it a zeppelin? What is that thing? The starts with the z, I think. But, anyway, a big stadium. And that big stadium has a throne there. That was in Pergamum where Satan's seat dwells. And Obama wanted to speak from there. That's where Hitler would do all of his ranting and raving speeches where Satan's seat dwells. You remember that? So you can Google this. I mean, you can go on YouTube and you can see this. And you can look at archaeologically how the Nazis brought this stuff back. And it wasn't in Berlin, but what's the other big city that Munich. Munich. Munich. Munich is where it was. And he built this big there's a name for it, but this big stadium. Do this big old I think he was building it for the, you know, the Olympics, but it's where he'd speak. And and Obama wanted to be able to speak from there, and they didn't let him. So when Obama was elected president, the Democratic convention, the Democratic whatever, they did a movie mock up of Satan's throne, Satan's seat that Obama could speak from, like a movie a movie set. They had a movie set built. So it tells you where his head's at. These guys, I tell you, I'd I'd wanna stay away from that. So the great stones in your hand and hide them in the city, and the clay and the brick and the kiln which is at the entrance to the pharaoh's house in Tophanes, in the sight of the men of Judah. So the word of God being proven once again through the archaeologist spade. Those that dig in Israel are always proven the Bible. Everywhere you dig, they would have tells. So you have a city, and the city would be razed, but they don't excavate it. They just build on top of it. So it's a archaeologist dream to go there and to excavate and find coins, Caesar's inscription, and different things you can find. And so historical evidence. And The ark. I haven't found the ark yet, but Ark of the Covenant? Do you guys know ark. Right? Noah's ark, Turkey. What about that red heifer gonna be offered here soon? Built an altar for the red heifer. Do you know that red heifer came from Texas? Mhmm. Had five of them. Now there are four of them, and they're pure, And they're getting ready to bring forth the ashes of the red heifer. Boy, we're getting close, aren't we? A lot of red peppers. No. At the end here, if you guys wanna talk about the signs in the sun and the moon and the stars that's coming, the all the cities that are Nineveh. Right? Named Nineveh. You guys see that? It's pretty amazing. I don't know. I I'm I'm not a stargazer. Alright. They say unto them, thus saith the lord of hosts, the god of Israel, behold, I will send and take Nebuchadnezzar, the king of Babylon, my servant, and will set his throne upon these stones that you have hidden, and he shall spread his royal pavilion over them. And so when a conquering king come in, they could make a a, you know, like a tent, a pavilion that comes over, and this is where he's gonna he's gonna have his throne there when he conquers you, pharaoh, when he conquers Egypt. And Ezekiel twenty nine nineteen, this happened in May to May, Nebuchadnezzar came there and conquered. So promotion comes not from the East, the West, North, the South. God's the one that lifts up one man, sets down another. God's the one that raises up kingdoms and take kingdoms down. And so he's gonna take the the nation of Egypt down for about forty years, I think, when Nebuchadnezzar conquers them. And when he cometh, he shall smite the land of Egypt and deliver such as are for death to a destiny of death. Here's your destiny. You're going to death to death and such as for captivity of captivity and such as for the sword to the sword. So the destiny ordered of of destruction in graves. Now we're gonna have mass graves of people dying. Today, boys came up and they knocked on the door and they said, papa, we're gonna bury Rambo, and we'd like for you to come down and say some words over him. You know? So one of the things I've learned living on the farm there with the kids is a term that they I'm a city boy. I never heard this before. But they call it the cycle of life. And so we have a phrase around the farm there. Raccoon raccoon died, dog died, chicken died, goat died, two goats died. The goats have a really weird belly, and if they eat a potato or if they eat some stuff they're not supposed to eat, their bellies swell up or if they eat too much or something. So anyway, Rambo and this other one died. So they they already buried one, dug a hole and buried them. Now they got this other one, the hole's the hole's dug out. So we went over there and they put Rambo down in there and they dug the hole in there, you know, burying it and all. And that's something I never experienced as a kid. You know? Never dug graves for animals dying. We didn't do that. But anyway, the kids are learning about life and death, the cycle of life. And they had a hawk that got into the chicken coop and was eating the trying to eat all the eggs. So the boys, they they just go over and they get a gun and they shoot the hawk in the head. You know, they the crow or whatever it is. They they just take care of business. You know? So destiny to death. And I can hardly kill a bug. You know? I don't like to kill anything. But if something comes into the where we live, if it's a mouse or any of that, there mice used to come into the house, and Kathy, she'd go over there and start doing her karate, man, and stomping on him, man. It's so funny. I say, Kathy, there's a mouse, and she'd come in and kill it for me. You know? And sometimes I jump up on a on a on a a chair because they're running around. Kathy, there's a mouse. Come in there. But I don't wear a dress. She's she's you're standing on a chair. Oh, jump quick. I'm quick because they they'll run up your legs. You know? So so yeah. But she's she's the one that kills all the mice and stuff. Gosh. She's always been because she knows I won't do it. So and when he cometh, he shall smite the land of Egypt and deliver such as are to death and to death and such as are for captivity, captivity, and such as for the sword of the sword. And I'll kindle a fire in the houses of the gods of the Egyptians. So they have these big idolatrous temples, and the Lord's gonna I'm gonna I'm gonna burn them. I'm gonna burn these burn these things down. And he shall burn them and carry them away captive. So some of them are gonna be burned. Other ones that are made of gold, Nebuchadnezzar's gonna take them captive. When Nebuchadnezzar conquered Jerusalem, he took back remember in Daniel five, the the sauces and the the cups, and that's what Belteshazzar was using for his drunken, you know, party that he was having, drinking out of the, you know, the sanctified vessels that were made for the temple. And so that's where he was weighed in the balance and found wanting. So they're gonna despoil it. They're gonna plunder these places, the idols, carry them away captive and shall air himself with a self with the land of Egypt as a shepherd puts on his garments. And so there's a picture here of a shepherd putting on a garment of cleansing, of plucking, and apparently part of it in the ESV is like the picking off of lice, taking lice off of the the garment. So he's gonna he's gonna pluck the lice off, he's gonna pluck everything out of there, everything that's unclean, he's gonna bring a cleansing of judgment. And how many you think Sodom and Gomorrah needed a cleansing of judgment? Amen. And how did God do it? Killed them all fire. Fire. And so fire purifies. So how many do we know approximately how many Israelites there were that went to Egypt? In this group here? I don't know the number, but it's a small group. I I don't there's estimation, but, you know, it's like, I wanna say a couple 100. You know, there's there's not that many. It's a small, small group. And and the forces, there's not that big of an army here to help them either. But I forget I don't know. And the Egyptians gave them permission to be there. Yeah. The Egyptians the Egyptians gave them permission to come on in. That's that's a good point. I don't think they had resources to buy the Egyptians off before they did, before they were trying to buy Egyptians off, and Nebuchadnezzar stopped that. And so Nebuchadnezzar's won, and he's willingly leaving a remnant there of the poor. The poorest of the poor there and some military, and he left Gadalaiah there to be a governor, and they were supposed to be compliant with Nebuchadnezzar. And they could but he took the nobles, the rich, many of them are dead, but he left behind the poor, and Ishmael went over with the Moabites, and he was in the seed royal, but he came over as a as a terrorist and killed Gadolai and killed a bunch of priests that were there, like 80 of them. And so Johannan, this guy would have killed Ishmael, but Gedalai didn't want him to. And so now we see Johannan being a bad guy and that he's not listening to the Lord and he's taken he's taken this remnant of people to to Egypt. But that'd be good homework. Someone could try and figure out how many estimated. They'll be know for sure. So where I was going with that then is that Egypt is getting judged because the Jews are there. Or do you think that was part of God's plan anyway knowing what the people would do? All the surrounding nations are being judged. God's using Nebuchadnezzar, my servant, and he's judging all the surrounding nations. Nebuchadnezzar is his hammer, and and then later, God's going to judge the Babylonians with the Medes and the Persians. So for that period of time there, God's using this instrument that he that he raised up Nebuchadnezzar as. If Nebuchadnezzar ever went there if the Jews hadn't went there. Right. He did he did go there. He had to stop with his siege for a brief time to go and deal with the Egyptians because Zedekiah was trying to get the Egyptians to come over and attack a neighboring city. And so Nebbe and the guys had to stop for a brief time, and that's when all the false prophets began to say, see, see, see, we're gonna win this. But it was just a brief period, and then they dealt with that threat, push you know, expelled the Egyptians back. And at this time, the pharaoh's still there and all that, but Nebbe is gonna come in now, and he's going to destroy the pharaoh and and Egypt. And like I said, they're gonna I think it's about forty years that they're subjected to Nebuchadnezzar. So it's a it's a bad thing to get in the way of what God's doing. So I see your point, though. So then he so the shepherd puts on his garment, and he shall go forth from there in peace. He shall break also the images of Beshemesh. And and so this is the pillars, the oblast. Excuse me. Bethshemesh means the house of the sun and Heliopolis. And so Bethshemesh that is in the land of Egypt and the house of the gods, little g gods of the Egyptians, shall he burn with fire. So demolished these impotent idols, plundering. So Nebbe is gonna be used as the Lord's instrument of judgment against the Egyptians. And then sadly, according to Jerome, historian, Jeremiah was stoned at Tophanes. Don't know when, but sad. But he's the weeping prophet. And one of the things about Jeremiah when Jesus asked, who do men say that I am? One of the people that Jesus reminded them of was Jeremiah. Nobody said Jesus reminded them of Jonah. And Jonah had the largest revival recorded in the Bible. All of Nineveh repenting. And his message was not a loving message. His message was 40 and you're gonna perish. And from the king all the way down, they repented. Jeremiah spent forty years trying to get through to these people and didn't have one single convert, not one single person. So maybe Baruch, his secretary, but that's about it. He didn't marry, didn't have kids, got a piece of land, didn't get to use it. Forty years of telling people the truth, and God's using Jeremiah and Ezekiel and a bunch of other prophets, Hosea. All of them are trying to get through to these people, but they can't get through to them. And then they're judged. They're in Babylon for seventy years. They get to go back and rebuild the temple, Zerubbabel's temple, then Herod the Great is the second temple period. And then Christ comes, and they still don't get it. So it's gonna take the tribulation period, and two thirds of them still don't get it. And a one third remnant going through the fire are purified, and they say blessed is he that comes in the name of the Lord. And the Lord Jesus comes, and Jesus said in Matthew, except those days be short and no flesh be saved, but for the elect's sake. For the true Israel of God is not those that are gathered in unbelief, but the true Israel of God are those in Isaac, those that believe. In Isaac shall your seed be called. So it's not just it's not the natural heritage or posterity that makes you a true Israelite. It's the spiritual, the spiritual offspring. God told Abraham, in your seed, all nations of earth would be blessed, and so those that believe in Jesus. And so there we go. Alright. Well, let's pray. Father, thank you that we could spend some time in your word. And, thank you for Rob and Vicky opening their home, and we pray that you undergird and strengthen them. Keep your hedge of protection around Vicky, especially, Lord. And Rob, he can handle it. Watch over Vicky, Lord. And thank you, God, her new car and help her with be not deceived. Help her as a grandma and a mother, friend, and just continue to watch over this household. Be with Brandon and and Rob and the grandkids, extended family, just any way that the devil tries to come in and to neutralize or distract or hurt. Lord, we pray your hedge of protection be about this family, this place, and that you continue to part your holy spirit, and we watch you move and work and do great things. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen. Alright. I don't wanna talk one thing. Alright. One thing. Just one. I'm having a I'm not gonna go into it, but a a residential situation that needs the Lord's hand in. Okay. Residential. Right. Right. You want me to pray? Yeah. Go ahead. Okay. Father, we come before you and we lift up Thomas Poole. What a joy and a blessing he has, Lord. Thank you that he loves you so much. He loves you with his whole being, Lord. Thank you for the songs you've given him, the song in his heart. Thank you for his countenance and how it always makes me smile. And, Lord, we lift up his predicament that of a residence, Lord, that of a housing issue, I guess. We just pray that you would go before him, prepare a great place, and bless his sister and his family and continue to use him for your kingdom and glory. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen. Amen.
