And for Cora and for Kathy and for anybody else that's been sick, a shout out. We haven't forgotten you. We're praying. And so, father, we come before you, we lift up this night unto you. We pray that you'd anoint and bless and open the scriptures to understanding, that you teach us, Lord, that we'd be equipped and strengthened, that we'd have discernment, that we could discern between good and evil. Right? Right and wrong, and that we discern deception when somebody's trying to hurt us, when somebody's trying to hurt our family, Lord. And and, Lord, that we'd be we'd have ears to hear, that we'd be wise as serpents and gentle as doves, Lord, not just be naive and go along with everything as we see with Gedaliah tonight, Lord. So bless, we pray in Jesus' name. Amen. Amen. Amen. I lift your name on high. Amen. Amen. I sing this simple song of love. To my savior, to my Jesus, I'm grateful for the things you've done. And so be not deceived, nice podcast. Jesus said, be not deceived. Right? That's right. Amen. So that's where many false prophets, false Christ, and, were being inundated with, with, lies. And then what's funny is Bill Gates has the audacity to say to the politicians, you need to pass some laws. You need to pass some laws because this disinformation is ruining the narrative, you know, ruining what they're trying to accomplish. So, basically, what he's saying is they're getting caught in their lies, and, they wanna be able to put restraints on the Internet like Vicki Show would get canceled if anybody that says anything contrary to the official narrative. And, Microsoft will help them, and they'll censor everything. And, and Hillary Clinton once said, we're losing the information war. So the Internet has allowed people, like Whitney Webb and and others to be, independent, you know, journalists. And they're able to do research and and look at things and examine what's said publicly and then refute it and show that it to be a lie. And it educates a lot of people if people will go to these sites and and learn. So Vicky's and Robert doing a great job. Be not deceived. Okay. So we hope and pray that more people come to know the truth and the truth will set them free. Amen. Jeremiah chapter 40. Father, we come before you and we pray that you would bless this night, that as we study chapter 40, that you'd give us discernment, that you give us ears to hear, that you would teach us, Lord, how we can combat the enemy, the, the Ishmaels that come into our life to deceive, how they can cry and deceive us, how they can have a meal with us and deceive us, how they can come as an angel of light and deceive us, Lord. Men of the flesh, women of the flesh, Lord. Pray that we'd walk in the power of the spirit and Lord that we would listen very clearly to what you're saying to us, Lord. So help us, we pray in Jesus' name. Amen. Alright. So Jerusalem bed destroyed. Jeremiah's got a good insight with the Babylonians because he's been telling the truth for forty years. So they're not gonna, you know, execute him or whatever. And they've got a guy named Gedaliah that they're going to allow to be a governor. He's going to choose to govern from mitzvah, which is one of the first places when they came out of Egypt where they where they encamped and made kind of a a capital type area. And and so it says, the word that came to Jeremiah from the Lord after Nebuchadzaradan, the captain of the guard, had let him go from Ramah when he had taken him, being bound in chains among all who were carried away captive of Jerusalem and Judah who were carried away captive unto Babylon. So Jeremiah has been chained, and he's taken to Ramah. And from Ramah to Mitzvah is about about three miles, and and so he's been taken captive there. And this, as I said, this general is favorable toward Jeremiah, and he's pretty straightforward with the reason why Judah was judged by God, why they were spanked, why they why all this happened to them. And so, he says, and the captain of the guard took Jeremiah and said unto him, the Lord thy God has pronounced this evil upon this place. And so the the general's indicating that Jeremiah is a true prophet of God, and the general is telling the truth. It'd be like if we had the Russians, you know, overtake America and got on television and, subdued the Bidens and Obamas and all those people, we'd be cheering, wouldn't we? And if Putin got on there and said or his general one of his generals said, the reason America's fallen is because of your sin. Because of your sin. Because you disobeyed your god. That's what this guy's saying. You disobeyed your god. How tragic that is when the world is used by god to judge his people. He's gonna use secular you know? I mean, there's Christians in Russia. I'm sure that Putin's much more godly than the leadership we have. And I don't know why people love to demonize Putin. You know? There's no way that he's killed as many people as our leaders have. He's there's no way he's killed as many babies as our leadership has. You know? Unbelievable genocide, in motion, from our leadership all over the world, and we act like we're just so excellent, exceptional. You know? And, and it's that pride, as Paul Roberts Paul J. Roberts would say, you know, it's the hubris the hubris of Washington, the pride they have. And and so that pride, pride goes before destruction and a haughty spirit before a fall. Can't wake these people up in their pride. Can't wake anybody up until that dollar crashes. When that dollar crashes, you're gonna hear a howling, and these people I guess Hillary was somewhere at some university or whatever, and people were chanting war criminal, war criminal, and she's, like, trembling. You know? Columbia. And Gates is realizing that people are eyeballing him. And so, god, it would be a great day in America if somehow there's ever any kind of justice. The communists call them the useful idiots. So, apparently, when communists do take over a country like ours, they take all these people that have been helping them in Washington DC, and they execute them. They call them the useful idiots, and they say to them, if if your own people couldn't trust you, how can we? And they and they just they just they just take them out. So it's it's gonna be it's gonna be glorious. Glorious. I wish I'd be there, but I'm gonna be raptured. So Amen. I'll just be there before king Jesus. You know? Do you think we're at the great white throne judgment? We're gonna see some justice on these people? Yes. Know? Yeah. We're gonna be able to see him being judged, before the great white throne. They're bodily resurrected, and they say Hitler's gonna bodily be resurrected and stand before god and give an account of what he did while he's in his body, whether good or bad, think we'll be there. Mhmm. In first Corinthians six, it says that you and I are gonna judge angels, fallen angels, not the good angels. Right? Yeah. We're gonna be judging fallen angels. So Paul says, if you're gonna be judging angels, church, you know, how come you can't handle the least bit of, you know, wrong among you, you know, and mediate? You know? So it's great when you get when you get somebody that says the same thing you've been saying for forty years. Well, finally, you have somebody in the room. You've been being gaslit. Everyone's gaslit, and you're telling you're crazy. And now you've got a a, you know, a general saying the same thing you've been saying for forty years, Jeremiah, that if you obey God, this wouldn't happen. But it's because of your disobedience that that this is happening. And done according as he has said, because ye have sinned against the Lord. Your sin is against the Lord. David cried concerning his sin, against thee and thee only have I sinned. Our sin is first and foremost an affront unto God. Joseph said, how could I do this great evil against God when Potiphar's wife was tempting him? But it's also a sin against, you know, on the the horizontal level with the person too. You've sinned against that person. But mostly, you're sinning against God. According as he has said, because ye have sinned against the Lord and have not obeyed his voice, therefore, this thing has come upon you. So how many times does God need to say it? Just once. But he spends forty years over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over. How many times do we need to say it? I get so frustrated as a pastor where people make up their own truth. You tell them what the Bible says. They go, yeah, but and they do what they're gonna do anyway. You know? And it's it's and they're bold and they're so prideful and they're not doers of the word. They're just hearers, and they don't care what you have to say. They don't really care what the Bible has to say. Then they start labeling you a hater, a bigot, a homophobe because you have the audacity to challenge, you know, the culture and they're trying to change God's word. You know, behavior becomes, you know, an act of love. When the Bible says it's aberrant behavior, the Bible describes it as sin. And so you obeyed the voice, therefore, this thing has come upon you. And now behold, I loose thee in this day from the chains which were upon thine hand, who have seemed good unto thee. And so he's gonna give him three choices. I'm gonna loose you. I'm gonna give you three choices. And the centurion, when Jesus was being crucified, the earth shook in Matthew twenty seven fifty four. He gave a testimony that surely this is the son of God. You know? Pilate said, I find no fault in him at all. You know? And so people can push their lies, and at a certain point, you know, the truth comes out. So I'm gonna lose you this day from the chains which were upon thine hand, and so that would be a great day. You've been you've walked three miles from from Jerusalem to Ramah just outside the city, and you're not at mitzvah yet, but he's taken the chains off of you. And that would be that would be a wonderful thing. It's a wonderful thing when the Lord Jesus strips the chains off of us, the areas of bondage that we were once in, and he came to set the captives free. He whom the son sets free is free indeed. And we don't need to go back to bondage, do we, as Christians? We don't need to play games with the world and see how far we can go into the world to that line of the world and still be a Christian. Don't need to live on the fence. Right? And so we can go as far away from the world as possible and enjoy our freedom. Why would you wanna give up your freedom, and go back into bondage? And so, Peter says, you know, they they go back, when we see people go back, it's because their nature wasn't chained. And he gives an illustration of a pig just as a pig goes back to its wallowing in the mire, so to a backslider. And John describes this, they went out from us because they weren't of us, you know, so they come in, they observe and things, and then kinda like the seed that that the sun beat down upon it and the trials made it wilt and all and and didn't bear any fruit because as soon as trials comes, exposed the the profession of faith as being disgenuine. And so the pig, you know, you clean it up, you perfume it, you put lipstick on it, you call it Hillary, and it still wants to go back to the pigpen. Right? It wants to go back to the mire. To wait. And just can't wait to get out of there. Right? And or Dianne Feinstein or Pelosi or any of these or any of these people that are just so incredibly demonic. Pretty soon, we're I guess we're gonna see Camilla. She says she's ready. Is she Camilla Camilla? Camilla? Camilla? The vice president? That's gonna be amazing. And, and then Michael, Michael's gonna probably fill in, and help her out, be the VP or maybe the next president. I don't know. But, man, linebacker Michael. And that's gonna be interesting. So crazy times we're living in. So you haven't obeyed his voice, therefore, this thing has come upon you. Now do do you think that there's any soldiers on the Babylonian side that are dressing up as women, playing dress up? Probably not. Do you think there's any soldiers in the Russian army dressing up as women? Do you think there's any health directors in Russia that go from being a man dressed up like a woman and say they're here to help you with your health? I'm here to help you with your health. Are are they the most butt ugly people you've ever seen? You know? These various western countries that have, like, four of them I've been seeing. You know? And and we're here to help you with your health. You know? Well, anybody looks that ugly, man. Stay away from me, man. I don't want any of that. So, I mean, we're being demoralized. That's part of what communism does. They demoralize you. And, I mean, by the time an invading army, you know, comes against America, it's like you just set down your arms because there's just no there's no courage. There's no caliber. There's nothing, you know, that that no will to fight. You know, what do I wanna fight for? Just stop this. Get it over with. I wanna go back to gaming. And I'm tired of this. This is mean. You know? Don't be so mean. You know? And so it's gonna is gonna bite hard. So and and it's I look at it as America as a rabid dog, a dog like Old Yeller that's got all that white stuff coming out of its mouth, and it's just got this ferocious desire for children and to destroy children and to, you know, the pedophilia and all the wickedness and evil and the fentanyl and all the stuff, the suicides and all of it. And there's no fixing it. There's no political person you can bring in to fix this corruption in this country. It's so pervasive. And so you say, you know what? It's gotta be put down. God says, he looks at Sodom and Gomorrah and he says, I gotta put it down. You know? And it's it's beyond. And the the time of Noah, the flood, God looked at man, and the the intent and the thought of man was only evil continually and murders way up and just just a vile, vile society. And, God says, I gotta put them down. They'd been to they'd been, meddling with and interacting with with demons, with fallen angels, and the Nephilim is the result thereof. And God mentioned that nothing would be impossible for them from the standpoint of of the intelligence that the demons are able to give them, the technology that they're able to give. So God says, gotta put it down. I'm gonna put it down. And but Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord. And Noah was perfect in all of his generations. Right? So Noah had a pure DNA, a pure DNA that the globalist hadn't been able to defile and that the Nephilim haven't been able to defile because Jesus came as a human being, and the devil wants to destroy human beings, wants to be a creator of something else, you know? And so a mixture of genetic, you know, like with the crops, the genetically manipulate manipulation and all. And so with the CRISPR machine and all this different technology they have, so God says, you know what? I'm gonna put it down. And so it doesn't necessarily always take like, with with Rome, you know, you you fall from within. You're so corrupt. You fall from within. Now behold, I loose I loose thee this day from the from the chains which were upon thine hand, if it seemed good unto thee, number one, to come with me unto Babylon. Come with me to Babylon. We've got some other guys there. We've got Daniel. We've got Shadrach, Meshach, Abednego. They're gonna be hanging out for about seventy years, and they're gonna have good positions, you know, there. And Babylon's really nice. It's the seventh, one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. You should see Nebuchadnezzar's garden, the Gardens Of Babylon. You should see the walls. You should see all that's there in Babylon. So come and I will I will look after these. So not only come, but I'll take care of you. I'll put you under my wing, and you won't have to deal with these people anymore, and you can retire, man. But if it seem ill unto thee to come with me into Babylon, forbear. Behold, all the land is before you, where it seems good and convenient for thee to go there. So what would you choose? You know, where number two, you can go anywhere you want. You you choose where you wanna go. And then he has a third one. Now while he was not yet gone back, he said, go back also to Gedaliah the son of Ahikam, the son of Shaphan, whom the king of Babylon has made governor over the cities of Judah and dwell with him among the people, or go wherever it seems convenient unto thee to go. So the captain of the guard gave him victuals and a reward and let him go. So, hey, here's some walking money. My grandkids, when I see them, I always open my wallet up and I say, hey, do you guys got any money? They go, no, papa. I says, man, you need some walking money. And so I give them some money and I put it in their pockets and everything. They get so excited. I said, you can't be you can't be without some cash, man. You might stop at a candy store. You never know. And when they get so excited, they just man. And and so get Elias saying to Jeremiah, you need some walking money, man. I'm gonna reward you here for your faithfulness. And who knows how much money it was, but, you know, enough. He gave him some food. You've been in chains. How probably haven't been eaten that well. And God was able to use the ravens to, you know, to feed Elijah, but God's using a foreign, you know, a foreign general to feed Jeremiah and to reward him, give him some monies and all. And so the question is, what would you choose? If you're Jeremiah, if this was you, what would you choose of the three choices there? Would you go back to Babylon? If so, why? I think I'd to Babylon. Is that where his family is? No. He didn't have any family. Yeah. They didn't like it. Yeah. Yeah. Anathoth. I'd go to Hawaii if he gave me Hawaii. Go to the beach. Go to the beach. But, you know, Babylon's right on the Euphrates River there. Maybe there's some real nice nice little places to fish and do some stuff. I don't know. There's a lot of stuff to learn in Babylon. Would you would you wanna be in a place that just been raped and pillaged and wiped out? No. You know? No Internet, no phones, no TV, nothing. You know? Just a desert. Where Where would you go? Would you is there a would you go back home, check out that land that you bought a little earlier, dream of building a house on it, build something there, go back home like Betty said, see if there's any family that would that would have you? Or you go with Gadalaiah where there's gonna be a small remnant of people there at mitzvah. And that's what Jeremiah chose. He chose to he chose not to flee. He chose to be a shepherd. Gedaliah provides the political, the government part of it, and Jeremiah can provide the spiritual sustenance that the people are gonna need. And and so we see that this general didn't send him away empty. He gave them the free will choice. And James two fifteen and sixteen talks about how if you see somebody, you know, broken and poor and needy, and you don't just walk by and say, hey, be warmed and filled. Faith without works is dead. You would take and provide and give them a sandwich, give them some some walking money. You know, like Jesus illustrated the good Samaritan as being, you know, his neighbor. And then John tells us first John three eighteen, to love not in word only, but in deed and in truth. So Rick Warrens, you know, deed deed deed deeds, it's true, but you do both. You preach the gospel and you teach disciples. You, walk by faith, studying God's word, creeds, doctrine, but you also feed the homeless. You also do deeds. It's not one or the other. And that's the mistake that he made and people embraced is that as I was talking on Sunday and thinking about some more today, rather than preaching the real gospel and trying to get sinners saved, instead, the objective was let's just try and get the unbelievers in here and fill the place up with unbelievers and don't offend them. And so now you got a church that's a mile long, but half an inch deep. There's no depth. Everything's shallow, and it's on the fleshly level, the carnal fleshly level. And so love not in word only, but indeed and in truth. So truly, if you love the sheep, Jesus said Feed them. Feed them, tend them, care for them, be concerned about their eternal destiny. And that Jeremiah is concerned about these people, their eternal destiny. Hey, in forty years, nobody came to Christ. Well, there's a remnant over here. Maybe there's a couple over here now that'll that'll admit what I was telling them was true, and maybe maybe they'll come to Christ. You know? Years later, in a a time when Jesus is born, there's gonna be some Magi that come from Babylon from the East, and they're looking for the king of the Jews. And it could very well be that the remnant of people that were there in Babylon during the seventy years there, including Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, Daniel looked at Jeremiah's writing. Jeremiah is the prophet, what Jeremiah said, and Daniel knew that they were gonna be there for seventy years. And so that information recorded in Aramaic could very well be what led to the Magi coming to a saving knowledge of the king of the Jews and making that that journey from Babylon to bring gold, myrrh, and frankincense in in the worshiping of the king of the Jews. And so you don't know what the seeds that Jeremiah planted, how far they grew. It looks like, hey, there was no fruit. Nobody got saved, but you just don't know because, you know, we don't see it all. But most likely, there was far more accomplished, far more happened afterwards than than is recorded for us to see presently. So don't lose hope. Don't lose hope. Walk by faith, not by sight. Leave the results up to the lord. And yeah. Interesting thing about that, he went chose to go back. Those are the very people that were hearing him say what was going to happen. Mhmm. Yeah. And some some refugees too. Yeah. Who were there, and they they saw it happen. It did happen. They the false prophets were liars. And just like the general, they're now left behind. So they're probably a little bit more receptive to maybe what he has to say when he gets back. Possibly. I would hope so. Maybe there's one or two. Gadalei was friendly toward him, but, unfortunately, you're gonna see who a huge coup Yeah. Take place here and people being executed. And and interesting that the guy that does this, this guy named Ishmael, is in the royal line of king David. One of their own, one that used to be a secretary for king Zedekiah in his government, but now he's over helping the the Ammonites king. And so they flee. They flee to area of Judah and Moab and Ammon, and they wait till everything falls apart. And then now when they're weakened and Nebuchadnezzar's not there and his his armies aren't there, they're going to mistreat that remnant you're describing. And tradition says they grab hold of Jeremiah. They're such sore losers that they take him to Egypt, and they execute him there. They they they don't want somebody around that reminds them that they're wrong. They can't handle it. They they don't they just can't handle. I want my, you know, I want my pride. I I want my, you know, I want my way. So like today. It is. I mean, how how many lives have been changed from the work of an atheist? How many people have gotten saved or their lives become better because of somebody that claims to be an atheist and all that they think they know or agnostic? All they think they know about life, is there any good that comes out of it? Is is there any benefit to society in being an atheist? No. No. I mean, they might come up with with a technology that people enjoy if they're, you know, in some ways, but we can be the most insignificant person in the community and preach Christ, and somebody's life can be transformed and changed. Amen. You know, that's the power of the gospel. That's right. But atheists I heard a story where forget the name of the guy. I think it's Harry Ironside. Harry Ironside was gonna debate with some atheists. They they he was gonna debate with them, and part of what he did is he said, alright. I want you to bring to the meeting people whose lives have been changed by your doctrine of why there is no God, you know, your belief that there is no God. Show me the lives that have been changed, and I'll bring a 100 guys whose lives have been changed. They don't wanna debate because it's proof right there. Mhmm. I don't need to debate you. Look at the lives that have been changed. You know? It's it that's it's irrefutable. The lives that have been changed. You and I at church, it's irrefutable. The the school can't do this by acting like evolution superior. Lives aren't transformed and changed. They're destroyed. It's destruction when you go against God and you go against his word. There's no good that comes out of transhumanism. There's no good that comes out of changing them with their hormones and operations and stuff. Nothing good comes out of it. It's suicidal. There's no fulfillment in it. But a simple Sunday school teacher can, you know, just fill a kid's heart with love and and the knowledge of Christ, and their life would be transformed and changed for the rest of their lives. You know? So we're on the winning side. Amen. And so these guys that resist, they're they're like, they got a hammer, but they're hammering against an anvil and their hammers wear out throughout history. Their hammers always wear out. The weapons that they form against God always wear out, and it always comes to nothing. And Jeremiah has gotta be blessed in knowing that he was faithful to what God had called him to do, and you can tuck that away. So so he says, then went Jeremiah unto Gebeliah, the Senna Hakim, to Mitzvah about three miles, a government post, and dwelt with him among the people that were left in the land. So there's a remnant of people there. And Jeremiah's got a shepherd's heart, and he wants to minister to the people that are there for their spiritual spiritual needs. And we were reminded that in Germany, they got out before 1938, they could have come to America, but many of them, the rich Jews wouldn't leave Germany because they were such astute business people. And so that reminds us of the way that you catch a monkey, they won't let go. And if you're sensing danger here in America, where are you gonna go? Is there a country you can flee to? Mm-mm. Is there an island somewhere? Can you go underground? Underground? Don't know where. Where can you go? It used to be you could flee the European war with with Germany and Poland and everything, and you could Over here. Take a ship to America. Uh-huh. And you could start over here, go to South America. But the cartels and the whole world is turned upside down, and the antichrist is coming for these folks. You know? So not for us. So now when all the captains of the forces who were in the fields and they and their men heard that the king of Babylon had made Gedaliah son of Ahaikim governor in the land and had committed unto him men and women and children and the poor of the land of them that were not carried away captive to Babylon. So you've got these soldiers who fled Jerusalem, who are out in the wilderness area, in the in the bushes camping and stuff waiting. And, and now they hear about it. There's no threat now. So I don't know. Would these be the deserters? Would these be the guys that are in fortified cities have been already been wiped out? Are these some of the people that Zedekiah was trying to flee toward, heading toward the Ammonites? If he could just get across the Jordan, some of these countries that were in in alliance with him and with Egypt to try and fight against the Babylonians, but they heard. And so then they came to Gadalaiah to Mitzvah even Ishmael, the son of Nethaniah, and Johanan, and Jonathan, the sons of Kiriath, and Sarai, and the sons of Tanumath, and the sons of Ephthai, and Natophathite, and Janaiah the son of Mecathite, and they and their men. So Ishmael is the one, the prominent one. We'll see in chapter 41 how busy he is. And he's from the seed royal of king David. You can see over in verse one of chapter 41, it says, Nehemiah the son of Ephanes, of the seed royal and of the princess of the king. And so Ishmael worked for king Zedekiah, and he's in the lineage of king David, the royal seed. And so he fled, and he went to he's working for Zedekiah. He fled. He got away, and he got over to the king of Ammon in the area of Jordan. And so now he hears that there's a small ragtag poor group of people there that are coming back, And and the king of Ammon doesn't want that, doesn't want Nebuchadnezzar to be, you know, focused on them and helping them and all. He wants to make this a weakened area, not an area that becomes strong, lest Nebuchadnezzar deal with them. And so wants to try as much as they can to keep this area weak weakened. And so that's part of the strategy of what's what's gonna happen. They and their men verse nine. And Gedaliah the son of Ahikim, the son of Shaphan swore unto them and to their men saying, fear not to serve the Chaldeans, dwell in the land and serve the king of Babylon and it shall go well with you. So Gedaliah is repeating the same thing Jeremiah's been repeating, been saying, same message. Same message as the general. It's gonna go well with you if you obey. If you obey, it's gonna go well. And then that word fear not. Two words, fear not. Why does Gadalei have to say fear not? Because they're afraid. You might be afraid. And no need to fear. We saw that fear not 63 times in the Bible and fear ye not 144 times over and over and over and over again. You'll hear Jesus say, be not afraid, fear not, and fear ye not, it's because we are afraid. And fear is the opposite of faith. So Joseph Goebel said, if you can get them afraid and tell them a lie and keep telling them a lie, you can get them to do anything you want them to do. And so the key for us is to walk by faith. We walk by faith. We keep walking by faith. We don't put our trust in princes. Right? Don't put our trust in men. And we question everything. None of them are gods. Mandates aren't law. They can threaten us all they want. But as for me and my house, we're gonna serve the Lord. And we're gonna determine to put Jesus first, to honor him first. And they were so bold in the way that they structured it, the way they phrased it. You know, you you can only go to strip clubs and places that are essential, but church is not essential. And and when you do go to church, you gotta you can't sing, gotta stay apart from each other, be in your car. I heard where 500 I think it's 550 people. I forget what it was, but the police think it's in Australia. The police actually came where people went to church in their car with their windows rolled up listening to the service in their car, and, like, 500 got tickets from policemen and had to roll down their window to get the ticket, the citation, you know, All in the name of COVID. Right? So it's just idiocy. Just complete idiocy. And Australia today, I read they're talking about before the summer issuing a national ID for each and every person, which is exactly what Bill Gates is paying these governments to enforce upon, you know, the populace is they have to have a digital ID for everybody, for everything else they're going to throw at us. Your medical records, your money, everything is going to be based upon everybody in the system. And if they can put it into your body, every man receive a mark in the right hand of your forehead, that's even better for him. Right? Do you think Bill Gates will go for that for himself? He's like he'll be put this Well, it says in Revelation thirteen sixteen through 18 that rich and poor, that everybody is gonna have to have it, but I don't think they have to do anything. They make their own rules up. Yeah. You know? Yeah. Like, for instance, you don't think his kids have been vaccinated? No. No. No way. None of those people. Probably have sent to private schools and stuff. Yeah. They're they're protected bodyguards, and Oh, yeah. His daughter's got a $51,000,000 place in New York now, and it showed his granddaughter there and and how he wants to help the world. He wants to help the world with vaccinations, you know, and save lives. Well, it's the complete opposite. Complete except for his children, his family. You know? So it's the use of cedars they wanna get rid of, and they want half a million people upon the planet after they destroy seven and a half billion. And it's demonic. Oh, how the heathen rage and imagine a vain thing. And God God is allowing, according to Revelation seventeen seventeen, for them to put these things in place. And when you think of Joel Osteen, you know, being attacked, when you think of Gedaliah here is gonna be assassinated, you look at the assassinations of various people, he reminded you think back to Hitler, and today we're thinking like, how come god doesn't just wipe these guys out? How come spec ops or somebody doesn't just take these guys out? And then the answer comes back, when they try to get Hitler, they can't get to him. They put a bomb in the room and it doesn't blow up. You know? None of it works to try and get rid of him. Why is that? He's supposed to do what he's supposed to do. God's protecting them. Not his plan. God is protecting them. They they are protected by God to be used by the devil for a purpose. There's a purpose in it. And the same with the antichrist. They're gonna try and assassinate him, and he's not gonna die. You know? He's gonna faint like a like a resurrection and all that, but these guys are protected because in Revelation seventeen seventeen, it says that God puts in their heart to do according to his will. They're setting the stage. Yeah. That's interesting. Yeah. Jesus is gonna deal with them all. You know? Now some of them might drop here and there. Some you know, Brzezinski, Rockefeller, and Kissinger recently died. Well, they've been after this for over fifty, sixty seven years trying to do what's being done right now. They were the ones that, you know, got it going, but they didn't live long enough to see their dream fulfilled. You know? So they do die, but but they are actually actually protected. God doesn't allow them to be taken out because they are they are presenting a choice to people. They're presenting, setting the stage for people to choose whether or not they will take that mark or not. And there's innumerable multitude of people that say no to that mark and glorify God, and get saved in the tribulation period. But Satan gets his moment, is what I'm trying to say. He has his moment. He has his time in the tribulation period where he can put his antichrist in place, and and this deception. And the people are the ones like with Job that are gonna decide whether to glorify God or to try and save themselves and actually worship worship the devil. But very strange. Very strange. The it's called the mystery of iniquity. The mystery of iniquity. And so so they came to Gedaliah, to mitzvah, and even Ishmael, the son of Nekaniah and Joanna and all them guys. Verse nine, Gedaliah, the son of Hakim, the son of Shaphan swore unto them, you're not nothing's gonna happen to you, And so don't rebel and don't fight against it. You guys be the oath keepers. Remember the oath keepers? Mhmm. You know what happened to Stuart Rhodes and the oath keepers on January 6? Hold away. Hold away. Mhmm. Hold away. Right? You you you swear an oath to uphold the constitution. Right? You can send me as foreign and domestic. And you you show up there, and now you're gone. There's no more oath keepers. Right? No Republicans trying to help you. No Trump intervention. No Pence intervening. Even though there's busloads of CIA and FBI wearing mega hats and flooding the whole area, the whole zone, and Babbitt getting shot in the face, and no prosecution, nothing done, just lie upon lie upon lie upon lie. It says, as for me, behold, I will dwell at mitzvah to serve the Chaldeans who will come unto us. So Gedeliah is gonna be at mitzvah, and the Chaldeans are gonna be there, and he takes the role of a servant. We're gonna serve. That's why we're alive here. We're gonna we're gonna do the best we can to provide government assistance to this new group of people that are here. And the Chaldeans are going to assist us and help us, who will come unto us, but but ye gather wine and summer fruits and oil and put them in your vessels and dwell in your cities that ye have taken. So the you can provide provision and shelter. Your refugees are gonna be able to return. The people that have got kicked out of the area due to the war, due to the siege, now they're able to come back in and so have a small remnant of people there. Likewise, when all the Jews that were in Moab and among the Ammonites and of Edom, so this is where Ishmael fled to, And they heard that the king of Babylon had left a remnant of Judah and that he had set over them Gedaliah the son of Ahikim, the son of Shaphan. Even all the Jews returned out of all these places where they were driven and came to the land of Judah to Gadaleh unto mitzvah and gathered wine and summer fruits very much. So they're opportunists. They didn't do anything to plant the foods or any of that or any of the crops or whatever. And they're gonna reap where other men have labored. And it looks like a great bounty, a great boom time, no taxes, nothing. Let's go there. You know, it's a gold rush. There's a gold rush in California. Know? Every everyone run to California. Go west, young man. So moreover, Johannan, the son of Kiri and all the captains of the of the forces that were in the fields, came to get Eliot mitzvah. So these are survivors. These are soldiers that were out in the foreign countries and stuff that had fled the battle. And then now as they come back, they're gonna be some of the strongest guys because there's no Babylonians or any other soldiers to counteract them. So they're gonna be the ones skilled in warfare. And and these people with Gedaliah are just, you know, farmers. You know, they're Jeremiah. They're just common people and trusting people, very trusting people. And said unto him, doest thou certainly know that Baalus, the king of the Ammonites, so this is where Ishmael fled to, to the king of the Ammonites. That's where he's where he was hanging out, has sent Ishmael, the son of Nethaniah, to slay you. But Gedaliah, the son of Ahikam, believed them not. So these guys in chapter twenty seven one through 11, these nations were allied against Babylon. And as I said earlier, they were hooking up with Egypt, and that's why the siege had to go toward Egypt for a bit, and then they came back and finished it. But but, anyway, you can't trust these guys. And so how can how can Gadalaiah be so gullible? How can he be so gullible? So Jesus says in Matthew ten sixteen, behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves. Be therefore wise as serpents and harmless as doves. So do sheep have a chance against a wolf? No. Not by itself. I'm sending you you in as sheep against wolves. You needed to be wise as serpents, gentle as doves. How do you do that in a in a violent, lying, deceptive, conniving time of history, you know? Why didn't Gadaleh a fact check? Why didn't he pray? Why didn't he just pray? You see in James one where it says, if any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God that freely gives. Why didn't he pray? Why did he say, you know what? Hey, Jeremiah, would you pray with me? Where's Jeremiah in this? Why would he just shake it off like, oh, that's never gonna happen. Ishmael and I are buds, man. We're friends. Hey. Do you remember a friend of Jesus named Judas? Do you remember a friend of Trump's named Pence? You know? All throughout history, there's the Benedict Arnold's. There's the people that that stab you in the back when it's when it's up they're opportunists, and they can pardon me? I just thought, you know, since king of Babylon sent him there that there were Babylonians coming in and around, he was accountable to them. So there was some security in that. So that's a good point. He might have thought that there was enough security. No way he tries something that crazy. That's not gonna happen. That could very be very well. But they weren't there to help him, man. Be wise as serpents. So are we ignorant of the devil strategy? Not supposed to have. Second Corinthians two eleven, lest Satan should get an advantage of us for we are not ignorant of his devices, which means his strategies. The weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty of god to the pulling down of strongholds. How are we to engage the wickedness, the deception, the propaganda in the time in which we're living? Why are churches so stupid? Why are they just so incredibly I mean, stupid? They don't they don't know god's word. They don't know the word. I I I believe that's true. Definitely, they don't know the word. They don't ask of the lord. I I it's incomprehensible to me. To stand up for their beliefs? Afraid of fear. Yeah. They're they're afraid to stand up. Definitely that. Also, there's a love for the world. Yeah. I was gonna say that. They're just in led by the good shepherd. Not being led by the chief shepherd, the good shepherd, not looking to Jesus. And they they don't wanna believe that someone's gonna come along and pop their their happy bubble. Right. So they don't wanna believe it. So Luke sixteen eight, this is one that really bothers me, really bothers me. 16. The children Luke sixteen eighteen. The children of this world are in their generation wiser than the children of light. Yeah. I hate that. Yeah. I hate when the Bill Gates and the Soros and these guys are genius with evil. They've studied evil their whole lives. You know? They're prolific liars. They're prolific strategists, you know, with their psycho and and the false flags and all the things they do to manipulate people. And we in the church should be so aware. We we should have such strong discernment that we just pray to the Lord and ask the Lord for discernment, and he leads and guides us. It doesn't allow a wolf or a serpent to deceive us. You know? I see where Adam and Eve in the garden when the serpent comes, mistake they make is they don't they don't ask god. I see where Joshua and the guys when they're gonna go up against AI, they they don't inquire of God. They just decide to go up there. I see when the Gibeonites come down and they make themselves look like they're from a far you know, a country way far away, and they need food and their food's rotten and all. They they played them. They deceived them, and then they make a league with the Gibeonites, and they can't they can't deal with them ever, you know, after that. But deception, all they need to is inquire of the Lord. Inquire of the Lord. Mhmm. Just just pray. Give everything to prayer. Why is prayer so often the last thing we do? Mhmm. You know? So James says, if any man lacks wisdom, what? I am seeking the Lord. So we'll have Shannon read it. James chapter one. James chapter one. Put me on the spot. Sure. Because you're paying such good attention. If anybody needs a gummy, it's okay. You can have a gummy now. Ah, James. Well, you know that Are you in pain? Are you in pain? Not at all. But you do know that that you pray and you seek the Lord, and he's gonna direct you to his word because he doesn't call us to be ignorant of these things because he doesn't want us to be deceived. So if we read his word, we'll become wise and be very very very susceptible to the voice that's not the good shepherd. Okay. So let me let me challenge you here. Go ahead and read that. James what? Sorry. James chapter one about wisdom. About verse three, I think it is. Three through six. Knowing this that I'm sorry. Knowing this that the trying of your faith worketh patience, But let patience have her perfect work work that ye may be perfect and entire wanting nothing. If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God and giveth to all men liberally. Liberally. So he's not stingy with it. Mhmm. And unbraided not, and it shall be given him. But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering, for he that wavers is like that which is well pleasing in his sight through Jesus Christ to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen. So we're trying to discern God's will. We're trying to ask the Lord for wisdom. Should I buy this car or or no, Lord? Can I afford this house? Lord, can I afford this wife? Is is she is she high maintenance? You know? Right. Right. Why are you looking at me? Look at Right. Lord, is this the one? Is this the one, Lord? So you're asking Lord for wisdom. Right? I mean, these are big decisions. Right? Should I go to school? Should I quit my job? Should I start a new career? Should I move? Do you want me to move out of Kitsap County? Do you want me to move to Montana? You know? I move? To Hawaii. You know? You know? Big decisions. We all have, you know, decisions we need to make. So Getaliah, god sends a guy, allows a guy to come to Getaliah and say, hey. You're on a hit list. We wanna kill you. Ishmael's gonna kill you. And he's got guys with him. They wanna they wanna kill you. The apostle Paul, when he is at the Antonio Fortress and the Jews were trying to get ahold of him, he appealed to the to the centurion dude, and he grabbed him from the mob of ripping him limb from limb. And as he's being held there in the Antonio Fortress, his nephew comes and says, Paul, there's, like, 40 guys. I forget what the number was exact, but, like, 40 guys that have bound their hearts together and made a made a vow that they're not gonna eat again till they till they stab you, know, till they kill you. You know? There's a conspiracy against you. So when he hears this from his nephew, he tells the nephew to go talk to the the soldier and let the soldier know, you know, what this is. So the soldier hears it, and he doesn't just blow it off. They get, like, 200 horses that night, and they they take off, you know, to Caesarea where Paul's gonna spend the next two years there. But as a soldier, Paul's life is in his hands, and he takes the threat serious enough to make a move at night before these people can organize, you know, to take them out. You know? So there's instances like that where where people take the threat serious. They have the wisdom to look at it from a law enforcement standpoint. And then there's other people like like like maybe me that just kinda say, well, okay, They wanna kill me. Go ahead and kill me. You know? And you don't really take it that serious if if that's if that's what they wanna do. Lord, is that your will? Do you want me to flee? Do you want me to go? Do you want me to stay? I tend to be very trusting in people, or at least I used to be, but anymore. I don't know who I can trust, but I trust you guys. I trust you. Aw. So when it comes to Donald Trump when it comes to Donald Trump, why are the spiritual leaders in this country, the biggest celebrity pastors on the planet, why don't they see him for what he is? Why do they lack wisdom? He's a paycheck. Why do they lack wisdom? What do mean a paycheck? They've scaled up wisdom. It it looks good on their resume to be seen with him. I can't believe that. I just I'm I'm baffled as to you're the most spiritual guys in America. If we look at it from the standpoint of American evaluation, you know, evaluation of success, big churches, and high profile, why are you so stupid? How could you tell people, Franklin Graham, that even Jesus would take the jab? I mean, does the man pray? Does he ask the Lord for wisdom? Amir, why would Amir double down? Why would he? Why don't they come back out and say they're sorry or that I was wrong or the evidence that's out there would would say that I was I was deceived? Yeah. That would be You know? And the premise of your whole the premise of your whole argument is wrong because the premise of your argument is that they're spiritual. That's right. You know? But I'm giving them the benefit of doubt. Right? Yeah. Yeah. Well, that but but that's just it. That'll make you crazy. I mean Can I give them the benefit of the doubt? No. No. There's nothing special about us. No. Why why do why are we able to see see through it? Because he wouldn't be he wouldn't be anywhere in in evangelical's eyes with someone who stood behind him who actually stood on the word of God. They would tell him, you're making a big mistake. They wouldn't they wouldn't say what they're saying to him. So he's he's getting we're talking Gedaliah and 25 people are gonna die because they didn't take this threat serious. Yeah. In our case, we're talking millions of people dying because the pastors didn't stand up and expose the lies. Right. That's all you gotta do. And we're finding Bill Gates and others saying they feel threatened that so many people are awakening just like what we've been saying. If you put the light onto the lie and people start to wake up, you win. Mhmm. You don't have to fire a shot. You win. But if everybody acquiesces and gives into the lies, they just take you right into the new world order, and there's not a shot fired. There's no resistance. Everybody just gets in line. But, fortunately, there are there are some people waking up enough that Bill Gates is agitated that he cannot control the Internet of what he calls the disinformation. He gets frustrated when people expose him. So does Hillary. So do all of them. They're frustrated. So there are people that discern, and I'm thankful for that. And some of them aren't even believers, I don't think. I don't know that Whitney Webb's a believer. I'm not sure if Alex Jones is a believer. He's quoting the bible now. My dad was quoting the bible. But a lot of these guys, Tucker Carlson, they're quoting truth. They're exposing lies. And people hate it. You know? But Well, God's God's word will not return to him void regardless of who says it. Yeah. No. I agree. And truth is truth is truth. That's right. And so I'm not sure these guys I'm not sure even the general is saved, you know, but he's telling truth. Yeah. He's staying with the truth. But I'm looking I'm looking at the enemy's strategy, and we're not ignorant of his devices. The devices mean strategy. So if the strategy of the wicked one presently in America is to demoralize us with Biden and then come back around with a shining knight named Trump, I've been saying that's the strategy of Satan appearing as an angel of light or a minister of righteousness. So the Christians are deceived because they see a guy that's quoting the bible a little bit and maybe carrying one like Clinton did, and maybe saying like Bush junior, hey, gotta say when I came out of his alcoholism, you know, but Jesus said you'll know them by their fruit. They're wolves in sheep's clothing. And I hate being lied to. I don't wanna be lied to. And so there's gotta be something we can learn here about discernment, about in second Corinthians ten one through five, who wants to read that? Second Corinthians 10 through five. And somebody else, after Rob reads that, how about Luke twenty two thirty six? Luke twenty two thirty six, you said? Yeah. Twenty two thirty six. 1010 what? 10101 through five. One through five. Now? Sure. Now I, Paul, plead with you I plead with the the gentleness and kindness that Christ himself would use even though some of you say I am bold in my letters, but timid in person. I hope I won't be it won't be necessary, but when I come, I may have to be very bold with those who think we act from purely human motives. We are human, but we don't wage war with human plans and methods. We use God's mighty weapons, not mere worldly weapons to knock down the devil's strongholds. With these weapons, we break down every proud argument that keeps people from knowing God. With these weapons, we conquer their rebellious ideas and we teach them to obey Christ. And that was my thin version. Okay. I'll interpret that for you. The weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty of God to the pulling down of strongholds. So, basically, what Rob's version is pointing out, it's truth. When you're facing a mob of people, we we we stay with the word of God against against ideas, against imaginations. So it's lies that's being presented, and we don't force people in a carnal manner like Islam to toe the line. We go into the heavenlies. We go into a spiritual battle. We fight not against flesh and blood, but against spirits and principalities. And what do the spirits and principalities hate? They hate the gospel. Mhmm. They hate truth. They hate the truth. They wanna they want to have a, you know, a monopoly on their lies. So Paul's saying, we just bring forth the word of God. We bring forth, you know, the the gospel in the power of the holy spirit to pull down those strongholds. And then in these cities, as people start to give their hearts and lives to Christ, it's the magistrates and the people that have had a system and even the religious people that had a system of manipulating people that that go crazy because they're losing their income. They're losing their influence because people are getting saved, and they're turning the world upside down. They're being accused to turn the world upside down. So Paul recognizes, you know, demons are behind these lies, and so the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, mighty of God to the pulling down strongholds. So the primary is in Ephesians six where we have our, you know, our armor on, and we go forth. It's a spiritual battle, But if we acquiesce to the lies and believe those lies, then we never take the sword of the spirit out, which is the word of God, to counteract the lie. Why? Why pull the word of God out? I already believe the lie. I'm already it's a blessing. You know, there's a blessing always there there dangling, which is the material side. But there is a point. Luke twenty two thirty six, what'd Jesus say? Then said he unto them, but now he that has a purse, let him take it, and likewise his script. And he that has no sword, let him sell his garment and buy one. So Jesus didn't carry a a man purse. That that's what that means. He wouldn't do that. But if you don't have a sword, buy one. So on the physical level, people sometimes need to be stopped by force. Mhmm. They're evil people. So I've always wondered why the Christians are sitting ducks. So if you go, you know, like, in these African nations, the Muslims come in, and they're the ones with the weapons, and these people are defenseless, and they get slaughtered. So it's just frustrating to me. So I I'm you know, obviously, you'd wanna arm them and train them. And there's a sheriff that Eddie sent me last night in Oklahoma that went to a DC meeting, and they're talking about these this invasion, the people that are gonna be coming to our cities and stuff. And so the sheriff was letting his constituents and people know and letting them know they're limited because they don't have drones and they don't have lots of money, but this is what we can do. And so he encouraged every citizen, you know, to be armed. And not only be armed, but then we're going to train you. We will do 30 at a time training you how to, you know, utilize these weapons and stuff. And if the invading force knows that people are gonna shoot back at them rather than just be passive, oh, Ishmael never do that to me. That'll never happen. You know? Well, that's that's when they they revel in cutting you up and just for fun, you know, just because they can do it. So I think a lot of times we don't have, at least I know I don't think I do understand the level of evil we're up against in a in a a time of the breakdown of society. So I used to be like Betty where I didn't want a gun, and I looked at the gun as potentially somebody in my family could get hurt by it. And it's because I lived in Orange County, and every night on the news out of LA in these rough areas, every night somebody was getting shot at and killed and, you know, and all that. And then I came up here, and I discovered a lot of you guys and everybody around here is armed, and and there's hardly ever any anybody getting shot and killed here like in LA every night or Chicago every night. But it hit me a different way. If any man doesn't provide for his own, he's as bad as an infidel. Right? Right. So you don't just provide food and clothing, you provide protection. So then I saw it totally different. I said, I have a responsibility to have my concealed carry be able to protect my grandkids in the event we go to defyre, we go somewhere, and some guy comes in with a long rifle with a kid, like at Joel Olsteen's church, and how horrible it would be if I was unable to protect them. It's too late to preach the gospel to this guy. It's too late to much of anything, if that barrel of the gun starts pointing towards us, you gotta react in a split second. So even to the point of having the gun and then have to wrestle with, should I have it chambered? If I have a gun, should I have it chambered? Yeah. Cocked and locked. Cocked and locked. Because if I don't have it chambered, I don't have enough time to to react, you know, to to save my family. So there's all sorts of training and things that need to be done, but there's that side, the human side, it isn't the primary one for us as Christians. On the human level, if we wait for it to be a fight with guns with Chinese and Russians and crazies in the streets, we've already lost. Okay? We've already lost. So it's in the spiritual realm. But if we acquiesce and not engage in the battle for truth is what it's about, then we're losing we're losing the war for truth. We're losing we're given into the power of darkness. We're given into the demons where they, as Obama says, they fundamentally mental fundamentally change America by changing laws and getting people to believe in a new morality, which isn't morality. And and that's that's where we've dropped the ball. And historically, I would look back to '61 and '63 when prayer in the bible was taken out of schools and the churches opted for a lie, which was a Texas against status and a separation of church and state. The churches should have been more vigil and fought that fight right there because today, that genie came out of the bottle. We're not gonna be able to get the Bible and prayer back in the schools and begin to educate children as the Bible says, train them up in the way they should go, and when they're old, they won't depart from it. We've got to get them like the communist know in the first five years. If we don't get them in the first five years, a lot of their pattern is set, and and they're gonna believe the lies. They're the lies that are pumped into them eight hours a day, then your society, the older people that have values are gonna die off, the younger people coming up, and you're not gonna be able to persuade them. So and especially if the churches are apostate and not teaching the word of God, then the Christians don't have discernment. They're easily deceived. So there's a spiritual component. We need the help of the Holy Spirit where Kathy, she's much better at it than me. We all have different gifts, but she's got a gift as discernment. And we go in a room with people, and we could go somewhere, and we're just in a lobby or restaurant and somebody we don't even know. There's those of us that have a gift of discernment and can listen intently and have that poker face where the person can't read them. Kathy can have that poker face because people who are manipulators want to look at body language and your eyes and everything about you. Right? Right, Ravi? And they wanna try and figure you out. And she's very good at not letting people figure out what's going on in there. And and then later, she'll say, Rick, there's something really wrong. There's something really wrong. I got a huge check-in my spirit. And then what we'll do is we'll say, well, let's just watch. Let's not be sucked in to the hype. Let's just give us some time. Let's let's watch, like, if they come to church or whatever. And then sometimes people come up to me and tell me stuff that somebody's doing, and I'll say the same thing. Well, you know, it's on my radar now. Thank you for letting me know. And let's let's watch. Let's communicate first off if they're doing something wrong, politely tell them, I I don't appreciate that. But if they're a wolf that's coming in, and you're discerning that, then there's a point in time where they're gonna show their true colors, and you're already ready to ask them, you know, to leave or whatever. But it's so important because you wanna protect the children. You wanna protect your teenagers. We've had lots of wolves come in, you know, youth group age. And so one thing about the youth group that we had before is I knew every single kid, and none of them were ever in that situation. I was on guard and nobody ever got hurt. Before that, I wasn't on guard and my daughter got hurt. But that's when I first came to Kitsap County, and I thought churches thought the way that I think. And I thought they would they would act the way that I would act as a parent, and but I was so wrong, so incredibly wrong. So it took us some some lot of pain getting bit to realize that these predators are everywhere, and we gotta be very, very careful. And then at the daycare, I had cameras everywhere before anybody had cameras, and we didn't have any kids sexually molested. We didn't have any mark on anybody's body. Nobody got hurt in five years, you know? So that was huge to me because I was so afraid that some of the workers or somebody would hurt one of them. And so that's those are the kind of things that we do background checks on and try to anybody teaching the Sunday school, we wanna see their background, their record, and things like that. And we know they're sexual predators. But there's also older people that wanna prey upon vulnerable people that just recently gone through a divorce or lost a loved one or whatever. They're vulnerable, and then the people come in and try and prey upon them in that vulnerable, you know, condition. So we we might have discernment, then we try to comfort that person. Don't leave them alone. Don't leave them isolated, and begin to disciple them and point them to Jesus to to because point them to Jesus and spend time with Jesus, they'll get discernment. And especially young believers, brand new babes in Christ can be so incredibly deceived by people because they're they're coming out we'll use a term that'll overuse, but they'll come with rose colored glasses or they'll come with a Pollyanna spirit that everybody's good. You know? And so and then there's gifted people in the body that come more from a military law enforcement background and understand the importance of standing watch, guarding, investigating, that sort of thing. So so anyway, I don't I don't wanna be lied. I don't wanna have anybody hurt because we believe they're lies. Our government is one of the probably the best in the world at lying, and and they you cannot prosecute them for it. You can't prosecute them for their lies. They don't they don't shirk away from it. So I've I've said for several years now, your greatest enemy is your own government. Yep. That's the one that's after you. And and so but here's the thing. When I was growing up, and I've been listening to some tapes from 1980, some teaching tapes. You wanna be successful, you wanna do what's called mainstream as a pastor. As a pastor, you don't wanna be a weirdo like me. If you wanna be successful, you've gotta malligate. You've gotta mix what the world is saying on the mainstream media, and you gotta take the Christianity and blend it in and present that. And we're all moving in a direction of it's Jesus and our great country, Jesus and country. You know? You don't wanna ever question what's happening with the government unless it's a Democrat and you're the conservative and you're mad at them for doing abortion or something. But, you know, that's an easy one. But to take the bait on all the other stuff as a conservative and they're moving you in a direction of globalism, you've been deceived. You're deceived. But if you how can you possibly wake everybody up when they're all watching the same news program and they just don't get it yet? They're just not there yet. You know? So some of my friends have told me that that's my biggest weakness is I might see these things years before, and and then there's the frustration that I can't wake people up, and then later, it's a moot point for me. It's like, well, that's old news. There's all sorts of new stuff coming now. You know, where were you back when we were trying to shield you from this? So we went real hot and hard against pharmaceuticals and antidepressant drugs, you know, fifteen years ago. And I went to the pastors and pastoral meetings and asked them, hey. Do you see this stuff just flooding into your churches? And the people are just sucking them up like crazy. And what happened to the joy of the Lord? What happened to trust in Jesus? What happened to going through trials by, you know, you know, and all that? And they they slammed me. They shut me down because I didn't know this, but they and their wives are on them. Mhmm. And it was mind boggling to me. And then we began to fight a little bit more, and I lost a lot of people because you're not a doctor. So that's why we're that smock during COVID because I've already been through that before. And so you got your media and you got the doctor, and the doctor's a pill pusher, the sorcery. So fifteen years later, it's easier because now the world is now coming out saying that whole serotonin thing was a fraud, total fraud. And this whole antidepressant thing was a total fraud. So is anybody gonna come back to me and say they're sorry? No. Nobody's ever gonna admit it. You know? So it's that's the frustration of someone when you start to get discernment, it's hard to wake other people up. So if I were to say the JFK assassination or nine eleven or Robert Kennedy assassination or Martin Luther King, all these years later, if you have more information and you can prove that it was your own government doing it, what good to do you today. Right? Everybody believed the lie at the time it happened. Everybody believed the lie of nine eleven and went and invaded Iraq and, you know, in all these countries. Now you see it later. You're giving money to Iran, but now you're gonna go to war with Iran. You're twenty years in Afghanistan and leave all billions of dollars of military equipment. Just stop. Just quit. You know? What are your men doing? They're guarding poppy fields over there. There's so many lies. So many lies out there. Where do you start? You know? How do you navigate? How do you how do you use that discernment, to awaken people? So, unfortunately, here, I I would interject this. Paul was told, Paul? Felix told him, Paul, your much learning has made you mad. Ignorance is bliss. If you don't know any of this stuff and you don't think about it, back in the eighties when I just went with the flow, the mainstream and everything, everything was great. But then later down the road, some of it comes back to bite you, and you start to realize, oh, I was deceived. I should have been more aware. I shouldn't have bought into that. And then you start to see some of the pastors starting to change. And that's why at the pastors conferences, I can't go to them because they won't deal with present day the present day. They're living in the past when Calvary Chapel was, you know, flourishing. They won't deal with COVID or the jab or the fall of our country. Instead, they'll try and teach civics. So now you're gonna teach civics, and you're saying the solution is get Christians to vote, and the one they need to vote for is Trump? That's your solution? Now that's one part. The other part of the church won't mention any of that. Stay out of the politics parts and just paint your walls white and get some softer chairs and your church will grow. Well, it's like, why am I here? What what how is that even relevant right now in the times in which we're living? You know? We're being invaded. They're they're gonna starve everybody. You won't talk about the food, and you won't talk about the c o two lies or just the enormous the enormity of the lies. The beast system coming, the one world economic system, you won't talk about it? If I were to direct a Calvary Chapel pastor's conference, I would simply divide up the book of Revelation and and go through the book of Revelation with the pastors Mhmm. Because that's contemporary. That's happening right now. So much of in the book of Revelation is happening right now. Let's deal with what's happening right now. And let's look at the beast system that's coming. Jesus is coming. Teach the rapture. Let's deal with it. Let's not deny the elephant in the room. You know? Yeah. So, alright, I had to get that out. So do you like being deceived? No. No. No. It hurts, doesn't it? And it hurts when your daughter's deceived, Someone in your family's deceived. And it hurts when someone you love so very, very much, I'll use a different word, when they're under a spell. Yeah. Mhmm. Not just lied, but under a spell. So Kathy used to take and put her hand on Jessica's door, and Jessica was under a powerful spell. She'd been seduced. What happened to our daughter? You know? And and some Christians helped bring that about. And and we were we were trying to rescue her as much as we could, but there was definitely a demonic, what we would call stronghold. And some of you have had kids who are under a demonic stronghold, and you can't shoot them in the head to get them to understand. So it's not carnal, but you learn to pray, and you learn to intercede, and you got other people praying with you, and you tried to come against that stronghold, that demonic stronghold, because we don't fight against flesh and blood, but against spirits and principalities, that their eyes would be open, that the scales would come off, that their ears would be able to hear, that the prodigal daughter or son would come home from the foreign land. You know? They'd come to their senses. You know? And and that's part of being a parent. That's the hardest part of being a parent is when the enemy we're in a war here. We're in a war. And sometimes the enemy is trying to get Rick and Kathy to quit and stop and trying to get you guys to quit and stop in this battle, and they can't get you to stop. But as Kathy always says, they're gonna look for the the devil's gonna look for the weakest link in the chain connected to you. And the devil devil's gonna knock on this one, see if he can get in there, here. And in many cases, it's your children or your grandchildren. And that will, in many cases, neutralize you. You'll be so overwhelmed, so just dumbfounded that you can barely concentrate, that you can barely concentrate and keep going. And but what you find is if you persevere through that and you get to Sunday, God always shows up, and God always ministers to people. And as you're driving away from there, you're so thankful that you didn't give up, that you didn't give into it, that you didn't quit. And then and then you there's enough fruit. There's enough encouragement that you know you're in God's will, that's all you need to know. And then you continue to pray. You pray for that loved one, and you you you could pray for twenty years. It can be twenty years of praying, you know, trying to rescue them. So in a war, there's always those who are prisoners of war. There are those who have been injured. They lose a leg. They lose a part of their brain. That's what this is like. And these are people that you love that the enemy's after. And and so I look at it not as let's condemn them because they did this bad thing or whatever, they deserve that and blah blah blah. No. I look at it as as, boy, the devil really came after her. Boy, the devil went after her with everything he had and took her down and and took this beautiful, innocent, wonderful little girl and just so incredibly seduced her, preyed upon her, and brought people into her life that were predators. They weren't they weren't the right kind of people. You know? And and it wasn't somebody underneath the bridge. It was somebody in the youth group that the devil used. Now had my daughter had discernment, all she has to say is no. But if she doesn't have the discernment, then she's gonna suffer the consequences of believing a lie. So this is something we all need to work on. Ask him the Lord for wisdom. Ask him the Lord for discernment. Being a man, a woman of the word, thy word have I hid in my heart that I might not sin against thee. And the way that you dispel and counteract the lies that they're learning everywhere they go is the word of God. You pour the word of God into them. Now here's the difficulty. If they're receiving lies at church, they're disarmed. If the church has become a place of disseminating lies in the youth group or to the adults, by and large, the Christians are disarmed. They're respectful of the leadership, so they try to follow along with the leadership and what they hear. There's very few Bereans that will critically think and examine what's being said and compare it to the word of God and hold the leadership accountable. So so again, a lot a lot of us are are what what we would call duped. We're duped. We're deceived. And so let's finish up here. So we we're recognizing a greater need in our lives to exercise spiritual discernment, to exercise the gifts of the spirit, and the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty of God to the hank, pulling down a stronghold. So we would the illustration of Daniel in Daniel 10 praying twenty one days, and the angel Gabriel coming to him saying, Daniel, beloved of God, you know, from the very first, he began to pray to present, but we were fighting with the prince of Persia. So in the unseen world, there is a battle going on for the souls of the people you love and the souls of people in this community, but you persevere. You keep persevering. And as Shannon was reading James, it starts out with a trial, and the trials lead to endurance or or patience. It it helps you to have endurance to continue through to not give up as you're in those trials. And so you just, and then you ask the Lord for wisdom. And his ways aren't our ways. They're past finding out. So it isn't that he's gonna explain everything to you, but but he's going to he's gonna guide you if you ask him. So you keep asking, seeking, knocking. And if you're in doubt, you bug out. When you have peace in your heart after praying and laying it before the Lord, you move forward if you have peace. If you don't have a peace in your heart, you don't move forward. No matter how good it sounds or seems, if you don't have a peace in your heart, let the peace of God guide you. You don't move forward. You you wait. Devil's always in a hurry. Mhmm. Can wait till it's till it's clear, until it till it's sure. And I've run up ahead of the Lord in many many seasons of my life, and it hasn't been good. Very difficult to wait twenty five years to get a church a church building. So I went out and borrowed money to buy buildings so that the church would have what it needs, and and it didn't work out ultimately. But but I I don't regret going for it because it was fun while it lasted. So verse 14, and said unto him, doest thou certainly know that Baalas king of the Ammonites has sent Ishmael now look at this. This Ishmael's in the royal line of David. He should be loyal to Judah. Right? He's a traitor. And and that would that would disarm you if hey. This is the guy in lineage of David. This is the seed royal. He used to work for Zedekiah. I could see where, you know, you'd be disarmed. Has sent Ishmael the son of Nathiah to slay thee, but Gedaliah the son of Ahiakam believed them not. Then Johannan, the son of Kiria, spoke to Gedaliah in mitzvah secretly saying, let me go, I pray thee, and I will slay Ishmael, the son of Nethaniah, and no man shall know shall know it. And why should he slay thee, that all the Jews who are gathered unto thee should be scattered and the remnant and Judah perish. And I'd like a couple guys and gals like that in our church. You know? Mhmm. They're ready to go take care of the wolves. You know? I'll go take care of them. And I think those people are a gift from God, you know, that would that would preserve the whole, you know, preserve the group, the this remnant of people that need some leadership. The devil's going after the leader, Gedaliah. So you got a bodyguard that's saying, hey. I'll deal with him quietly. I know how to deal with this. This is warfare. But Galilee, for some reason, you know, doesn't want to, you know, doesn't want to preserve the whole. You know? It's frustrating, isn't it? And pastor Chuck has a saying, let the Lord defend you. Let the Lord defend you. And that's true. And the Lord might be defending Gedalai by sending this guy. I'll deal with this guy. On a human level, I'll deal with him. Now how many people have the Clintons killed? How many people Soros? All these other people killed. They kill anybody that's a threat to them. We don't have that in our arsenal. We never ever ever we can't even get the courts to defend us. You know? We're a sheep sent to the slaughter. You know? Uh-huh. It's very frustrating. That's why now and a few times I've mentioned we need Denzel. We need Denzel. Yeah. I need the equalizer, man. I need him to go in there and put the fear of god in these guys. And so the so now granted, I I'm not the kind of guy that can develop a plan and and determine I'm gonna go beat this kid up. I'm gonna beat this man up, or I'm I'm gonna kill this guy for what he did to my daughter. I can't do that. That would be disobedience to God. I've never been able to get past the thought. Kathy asked. No. She she's she's really wanted she's really, really wanted to lay into some of these guys. And I've seen her put them in their place verbally, and they didn't like it. I haven't done that because there's a switch that could go off, and then I'd be in jail. So I sit there and I wait. You know? I wait for them to make a mistake. And what I mean by that is if that guy would have touched my wife or done anything aggressive toward my wife or my daughter, that's the switch and I'd be in. But for me to initiate, even after they've done stuff, all that is put in jail for assault. So I'm not gonna be that stupid to the enemy wanting to get me, you know, into jail. But any of us, if we're in a room and somebody slaps one of our grandkids or hits our wife or anything like that or, like, even in the mall, they're they're coming along smacking people in the face, these these kids, I would see red. There's I that would that would initiate something to me, the switch go off, that it's game on. But when these when these people hurt your family like that, it's so hard to let the Lord deal with them. So here's how I get through it. I pray for them, their brothers and their sisters, their moms to get saved. That's the only way that I've been able to get through it is, Lord, save them. And it calms you down, and you start to see it in a different way. And then you also recognize that your daughter, whoever it is in your life, they have free will, and all they need to do is pick the phone up and say, you know, daddy, come get me, and you're there. But you can't you cannot take it in your own flesh and force your will upon adult children who are even, you know, in a bad situation. They they have to the father of the prodigal is looking out the window, and he's waiting for the child to at least make the effort to turn toward home. He doesn't go out and rescue the prodigal while the prodigal's still not in their right mind. So, sometimes we give our loved ones over to Satan when they're living lives of disobedience, that Satan would be used to discipline them, to hurt them, to chasten them. And then they come to their senses and say, guy, I'm I'm eating pig's food right now. You know? I got a much better rack, you know, back at home. I'm gonna head toward home. So that's the beauty of having family and a church family that's there ready to to rescue you. So so anyway, Hitman I I never I never tried to find somebody to go beat him up either. I never tried to find somebody to, hey, can you go beat this kid up for me? I had a bodyguard guy go look for my daughter one time, and and he and he found her. But we were very worried about her. Alright. So but Gedalai the son of Ahikam said unto Johanan, the son of Kiriath, thou shall not do this thing, for thou speakest falsely concerning Ishmael. This Ishmael must have been the slickest dude you ever saw because in the next chapter, he deceives people by crying. He starts a drama. He's a drama king, and he deceives another group of people by coming up towards him like he's crying. And once he disarms him, he kills him. Him and his men kill him. So this guy is the worst kind of deceiver you ever saw. You know what I mean? A manipulator of emotions and stuff. And so I don't know. You need some really good people with discernment, and some people would call that crocodile tears. You know? Mhmm. They would say it's I mean, you could get that guy to stop crying real quick if you called him on it. You know? And then you you see this other face on them. It's the face of the devil. They got these different faces. Right? Mhmm. And and people with discernment can call that out so quick. And others would take the shirt off their back, pull their wallet out, and give them everything in it as soon as the tears start flowing. Right? And Kathy would say, Rick, you're such a dope. You're such a dope. You know? So nice and naive, no discernment, disarmed. And I believe guys like Gedalia, they need some people around him to protect him from himself. Yeah. They really need some people that have some what we would call street smarts to, you know, to to just protect him from himself from being so stupid. You know? And I don't I now there's another way to find somebody out, and this is another way that I do it, is I I will let a person in, and I will let them in far enough to lie to me or hurt me, and then it's over. So it's my way of finding out if they're real or not, if if what I'm hearing is real. And but I don't let them in so far it's gonna be like a real bad thing or whatever. But, you know, take a chance on them. Take a chance. Love looks for the good. And give him a chance. My discernment might be saying, hey. This guy's potentially lying to you. This guy seems like a con man. He's talking real fast. I'll blah blah blah. But give him a chance. And and a lot of guys come through the church and talk a good talk. You know? And but everybody has a chance to grow, has a chance to make mistakes, has a chance to to fail. And if you see a desire to learn, if you see humility, if you see brokenness, if you see a willingness to repent, you keep working with them. But if they're just there to take and to deceive, you gotta nip that in the bud quick because it it it can it just gets worse if you are passive in your leadership and allow that element, you know, to go for too long because they're very good with their tongue, and then they begin to spread gossip and slander, and and they've got just an evil spirit, and they're trying to destroy the sweetness of the group. And that's been my mistake is trying to win them over with love. I'll win them over. I'll win them over. And you can't win them over. They they got a different spirit, and they're jealous. They're envious. They're greedy, and it's all flesh. It's just flesh. Mhmm. But they come in as an angel of light, like like you know? And but as a young pastor, you make a lot of those mistakes. And I see you need a group of people like we have now an immune system where when somebody comes in, I very seldom have to say anything anymore because there's enough mature Christians around that have suffered enough in various churches they've been in, and they don't want it to happen to this one. So when somebody comes in and starts messing around, you guys take them aside and you talk to them. And some of them stay and correct their behavior. Others say, you know, they're out of here. So that's the way a church should work. It shouldn't be just on one guy having to face all that. You know? So because you as a pastor, you only see the good side of them. They give you the good side. You know? Well, then when the pastor's not around, you see it's like at work. When the boss is around, everybody's on their best behavior. Well, you gotta have discernment if somebody's infiltrating us and trying to poison the sweetness. And that's the main thing that we guard is the integrity of the sweetness, the love, you know, within a body of believers because without love, we're nothing. You guys wanna form a I had a call today. You guys wanna form an official security team. A lot of churches have them. I don't I'm not opposed to it, but I'm really excited to knowing we already have one. There's so many people carrying at our church. The women, the men it's like, I don't need to organize anything. They Sue told me, pastor, you know, if somebody bad comes in here, don't you try to shoot them because you might hit one of us. We we've got them. We've got them, pastor. You know? So, I mean, even the women in this church are are, like they're like Israeli women. You know? They're Israeli women walking with their kids down the street with their weapon on their shoulder, and it's so cool to know that and to see that. And I don't fear any any of this. I don't fear any of it. I feel like people are safe there. We actually have we actually have two search groups come out to the range, and they have a security group that come out and they do their balls and everything. Yep. Well, I'll get that kind of one. There's a grease point. Yeah. Yeah. I'll actually come out there and actually go through it and recall and everything. Yeah. Yeah. There's a right way and a wrong way. Wayne and his dad train train also some of those groups. And even the way that you talk to the police afterwards and everything, there's a there's a whole protocol, what you need to know, how you handle the threat and the whole thing. So but, anyway, I I I think if Wayne if Wayne put together a training, he'd have people sign up just because it'd be cool to do it. Yeah. Yeah. He he he could do it. He he had John Joburg come over to his dad's training. His dad goes to Phil Fernandez's church and asks Wayne's dad to to conduct a class. So John Joergers, our guy in the lobby, went over to it. And so Wayne definitely could get everybody on the same page at our church, but I personally think it's already happening. You know? It's already it's organic. You know? The Lord has people there that are ready. I don't think there'd be this crazy confusion. I think people are ready and aware of the times we're living in, and we're gonna be stressed. There's gonna be a whole lot of things we've never seen before and, you know, if these invader guys start coming out to Kitsap County. But I think we're pretty aware a pretty aware community. We're not we're not in denial acting like we can just blow it off. You know? A lot of military, ex military, everybody here. So but you guys are free to organize a class if you feel like you need one because this guy's an assassin. This Ishmael's an assassin can come in and take Adelaide out. And Joel Olsteen, somebody tried there. And then in Colorado a few years ago, there was the New Life, a large 10,000 people, and they had a guy kill two people out in the parking lot and then came into the facility with a duffel bag of far more weapons. And a woman from Minnesota who was an ex police officer, part of their security team, took him out and saved a lot of lives. And then in Texas, there was that guy that made that shot 50 feet away. The guy and he taught he taught shooting marksmanship and took a guy out. So so my joke is I'm licensed in state of Washington to marry and bury them and send them to hell if they're bad. Right? Alright. Well, let's pray. Father, thank you. We pray for those that you send, Lord, that we can love them and save them, not to bury them, Lord, because that's all for eternity. And we pray, Lord, that you would give us the anointing of your spirit, the power of your holy spirit for discernment. And and Lord, a soft answer turns away wrath and that you give us a word in that season. We don't have to think beforehand, but you give us the words and the ability to diffuse problems. And but also, Lord, to nip it in the bud, to deal with evil as evil, to not always think with our heart, but also with our heads strategically with the anointing of your spirit in the word. Lord, you show us. You you put impulses within us and and and speak to our hearts and minds in how we're to act and how we're to lay our lives down if need be to save the others. And so, Lord, we we pray as it's your church that you keep your hedge of protection about us, about each family, each person. And and Lord that we'd be walking in that liberty and that freedom of knowing we're walking in all truth, not living according to lies and being deceived and in the bondage of this chaos of this world, Lord. And so, Lord, help us evermore to be students, students, Lord, truth, your disciples. Awaken us, Lord, in our lives, Lord, that we not succumb, that we not give into taking the easy way out of believing lies and conformity to the world. Help us stand against the lies no matter the cost, Lord, and to stand for righteousness. So bless, Lord. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
