Live from Bremerton. We're in Jeremiah 39 here studying the book of Jeremiah. Let's pray. Father, thank you so much that we can be here once again, that we can open your word, and we can see so many things fulfilled, so many predictions, so many prophecies that Jeremiah had given the nation of Israel, Judah, for forty years now, Lord. And in this chapter, Lord, we see all the deniers, all of the people that didn't wanna deal with reality. We're watching reality bite real hard, Lord. And it's sad, but, Lord, we pray that we could learn from the mistakes of others and that we would keep a short account, that we'd repent quickly, and we'd intercede, and we'd we'd serve you the way Jeremiah has and and Abimelech and and others, Lord, their faithfulness over a long period of time without the attaboys from everyone around them, Lord. So blessed now we pray. Open the scriptures. Bless this time of worship and fellowship. Thank you for all the food that we got to eat, and be with those who are sick, Lord. Everyone that's been sick, Lord, we pray for your healing touch upon their bodies. In Jesus' name. Amen. Amen. Amen. That was for you, young lady. Alright. Okay. Jeremiah 39. Thank you, Rob. Thank you, Rob. Okay. This is This is one of four places within the Bible, four places within the Old Testament, that describes the destruction of Jerusalem. So god listed out four times in second Kings twenty five one, Jeremiah fifty two four, and Ezekiel twenty four one and two, and then here in chapter 39. So, father, we pray that you'd open the scriptures to understanding. Lord, we pray that individually that we would, take heed, that we would recognize, lord, that you're very, very long suffering, but that if we force you to, lord, you will judge us. You will chasten us. And whatsoever a man sows, that shall he also reap, that God's not mocked. And and so, Lord, the nation of Israel mocking you, nations today mocking you. And just because it hasn't happened yet doesn't mean it won't. And so we pray that you give us ears to hear and, just a seriousness, a soberness, to recognize how how short time is. And, any of us that are playing games or any marriages playing games or nations playing games, Lord, we pray that we get right with you and that you would protect us from ourselves, Lord. Protect us from our pride and our indifference and delusional attitude like, oh, it'll never happen. Lord, we we know that you're you're you're just so incredibly long suffering, just crying out for for us to come to repentance. And we pray for America, Lord, that America would recognize it's not a political problem. It's not an economic problem. It's a problem of the heart, Lord. It's a problem of us turning our backs upon you. And and, Lord, because of that, Lord, we don't have any strength anymore to live a godly life. Lord, we pray for purity. We pray that you wash and cleanse us and deliver us from our sins, Lord, here in America, that we could be a light, that we'd be a beacon to a world that's losing hope. We pray for a reprieve, Lord, at this eleventh hour, a revival, if you will. Some means like Nineveh where they turned from their sin and responded very quickly. The nation of Israel's had a long time to respond, but they refused, Lord. So, Lord, we thank you for your faithfulness that ultimately Israel will enter into all that you've promised them. A remnant will be saved. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen. Amen. Okay. So Jeremiah 39. Jeremiah's been preaching oh, my eyes are itchy. Preaching for forty years. He's got one apparent convert, Ebed Melek, the king's servant. So a ministry of forty years. And we see in chapter one, god is saying, before I formed you in your mother's womb. I I knew you. Right? I knew you and ordain you a prophet. You know? And I I think of him and I think of, you know, Moses, and I think of the movie Fiddler on the Roof where Telly says, we're the chosen people. Choose somebody else. You know? We don't wanna be chosen. You know? Choose someone else. And and some somehow, you know, you think Jeremiah would feel like that, but when he tried to refrain, when he first got thrown into jail in chapter 18, I think it was, then in 20, he tried to refrain, tried to stop. I'm not I'm not speaking to your name anymore. And God's word was him like a fire within his bones, and he could not refrain. And so it may be tough, the place that the Lord has you serving him, but it's even tougher if you step outside his will. And his will is the only place you can you can survive. And so don't think you can go it alone when God says, you didn't choose me, but I chose you and ordained that you bring forth fruit and your fruit shall remain. That was whoever you ask the father in my name, he may give it to you. That's Jesus speaking to us in John 15. And so it's not just Jeremiah that's been chosen, you and I've been chosen, chosen by God. And thank God we we we have been. We have a a function within the body, a place that that, God's ordained. He could have had the angels do it. He could have learned from Klaus Schwab and everybody and got gotten into transhumanism or something, robotics or something. I saw the robot the other day gleaning a field of of hay like. You know? And that that robot was bent over, you know, how much it hurts your back to bend over, and had this, like, you know, this threshing thing. And I mean, going to town, whacking it, bundling it, stacking it, whacking the bundle, stacking it. And, I mean, look like a human being. You know, of course, it looked like the Terminator, but the way they engineered it, I mean, you wouldn't have any people out there having to do that anymore. You know? It's just mind boggling, the technology. Well, the lord has made you in his image, and you're fearfully and wonderfully made, and god has privileged us to serve him. So Jeremiah, at the end of this chapter, we're gonna see that he's vindicated. We talked about that word vindicated last week, but he's vindicated and that everything he's told them has come true. Everything God gave him to tell the nation has come true and ultimately, you know, their destruction. But even minor little details, minor things, they all come true. And so some would say when we're teaching prophecy, you know, that it's doom and gloom, and you guys are too negative, and we don't want to learn one third of the Bible. We don't want to go there because it's doom and gloom. And then sometimes you hear the excuse from the pastors, I never studied the book of Revelation. I can't teach the book of Revelation because I've never studied it, and I don't I don't know how to interpret it. And and then you need to say back to him, well, then why are you a pastor? Why are you getting a check? You know? Everybody, no matter what profession they're in, has to do their due diligence and study. You don't you don't just cop out, and they get everybody to feel sorry for you. Oh, he's he he just has never gone to a seminary and teach him how to teach the book of Revelation. You know? It's a mystery book. It's so allegorical. It's blah blah blah blah blah blah blah. And, you know, there's no excuse. The first time I I talked the book of Revelation, yes, it's kinda scary, but but then it just falls into place. It's just wonderful. So God's told us there's a blessing for just reading it. And and so prophecy, one third of the Bible is prophecy, and it's one of the greatest evidence for the Bible being God's word is prophecy, fulfilled prophecy. We have the more sure word of prophecy. So, you have eyewitness testimony from the apostles of Jesus, his death, his burial, his resurrection, eyewitness testimony. And more than two, you know, over 501 times seem resurrected. But Peter goes on to say, we have the more sure word of prophecy. So I love studying prophecy. I love seeing the way it's 100% accurate. And I can't imagine reducing, taking away from God's glory and not discipling people in the full counsel of God, you know, all the way through. So I'm having a great time, a wonderful time, living in a time where prophecy is being fulfilled now. It's very exciting. So for people that watch the Left Behind series and, you know, had pre trib rapture and all that, a lot of them are worn out. They'll tell you, I'm worn out. He hasn't come back. When's he gonna come back? And they're tired of hearing about a pre trib rapture and all. So one of the best ways to find out where a person's at, eschatologically in last day's study, is ask them, where do you see Israel? Ask them, where do you see Israel? Do you see Israel being replaced by the church? That's a loaded question. Do you see Israel being restored at some point and God fulfilling all of the prophecies that he'd promised them? Where do you see Israel today? Is Israel do they have a right to their land that God gave them? Does Israel have to divide Jerusalem? Does Israel have to make way for all the other nations, you know, to trample them? What right does Israel have to the land as a people? And you'll find out real quick how divided the church is on that. And if Berson doesn't have a a correct understanding about the seventieth seven of Daniel, the time of the great tribulation period, they're not gonna be able to differentiate between what the Bible prophesies concerning Israel and that which in Matthew 24 pertains to the church and sometimes what pertains to the world. You know, you have to have your distinctions, you know, all the way through and be able to see who God is speaking to. So so in the ninth year of Zedekiah, king of Judah, in the tenth month came Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon and all of his army against Jerusalem, and they besieged it. So this is January fifteenth five eighty eight BC, and they're able to weaken remember there was a point where the Egyptians were coming and they had to leave the leave it for a brief period. But Nebuchadnezzar is at a at a not directly at Jerusalem, but a nearby city awaiting. And we'll see the name of this. Rabbi, I think it's called. And it's in Syria, and it's kinda the army is intense there around the city, but then there's also an outlying area where Nebuchadnezzar's at. So in the eleventh year of Zedekiah in the fourth month, the ninth day of the month, the city was broken up. So July eighteenth five eighty six BC, the city finally caved in. The city finally fell with the besieging it. So when we talk about besieging it, what does that mean? He can go over and destroy it. So they have walls. Right? They have walls. Now how is America being destroyed? With the border. An invasion. An invasion. They couldn't invade Jerusalem until they broke down the wall, and they didn't allow any food or any supplies to come in to the to the city. So when we look in Lamentations chapter four, we're gonna turn there, and we're gonna read some of the commentary that Jeremiah gives of what a siege does to people. And we can turn there now. Lamentations chapter four. She remembered he used an app, so now I have King James version. Oh, sweet. It's very anointed. That that's a very anointed anointed one. Okay. Wait. I went too far. Lamentations. There we go. Right after. Lamentations chapter four. So how has the gold become dim? How has the most fine gold changed? The stones of the sanctuary are poured out atop every street. The precious sons of Zion comparable to comparable to fine gold, how are they esteemed as earthen pitchers, the work of hands of the potter? Even the sea monsters draw out the breast. They nurse their young ones. The daughter of my people become cruel like the ostriches in the wilderness. So what do the ostriches do in the wilderness? Ignore their children. Ignore them. Yeah. You're a farm girl. You knew that. They they leave their eggs in the sand. Right? They're heartless. The tongue of the nursing child clings to the roof of his mouth. So a nursing child has no water, no milk, no mom to nurse. Mom's mom doesn't have any milk to give. And so the tongue of the child, you know, clings to the roof of the mouth, but it gets worse than that. Watch this. The young children ask bread and no man breaks it unto them. So it's every man for himself. And Jesus said in the last days that we're living, iniquity will abound in the love of many who grow cold. People are gonna be very selfish once again. They that that they that did feed delicately are desolate in the streets, and they that were brought up in scarlet embrace dung hills. So the richer made poor, the 1% are poor. For the punishment of the iniquity of the daughter of my people is greater than the punishment of the sin of Sodom. So that's pretty picturesque. Right? We're being tortured worse than Sodom and Gomorrah was. At least Sodom and Gomorrah happened in a moment. Right? How would you like it long drawn out? You know? That was overthrown in a moment with no hands laid on her, the fire and the brimstone. Her nobles were purer than snow beforehand. They were whiter than than milk. They were more ruddy in body than rubies and polishing was of sapphire. So the the the nobility didn't work out in the fields and get sunburns and get real tan. So it was real hip and cool to be white, really white, really not afflicted like a homeless person in the heat of the day. Their face or visage was blacker than a coal. They're they're not knowing known in the streets. Their skin clings to their bones. It is withered. It has become like a stick. And so kinda like the Holocaust when you see the victims who didn't get get food, who were, you know, famished. They who were slain with the sword are better than they who were slain with hunger, for these pine away stricken through for the lack of fruits of the field. And so very slow death and how difficult that would be as a parent to watch your children die in that manner. The hands of the tender hearted women, and this is so sickening, have boiled their own children. They were their food in the destruction of the daughter of my people. I mean, that's brutal. That's just brutal. The Lord has accomplished and I can't imagine Britney and Wayne taking little Ruthie and, you know, I can't even finish the sentence. You know? Just just unbelievable. So the Lord has accomplished his fury. He has poured out his fierce anger and has kindled a fire in Zion, and he has destroyed its foundations. And so judged by fire, the kings of the earth and all the inhabitants of the world would not believe that the adversity and the enemy should have entered into the gates of Jerusalem. There's just shock and awe, and they just can't believe. I mean, this is God's chosen people. If the Lord's gonna do this to his own people, think what he's gonna do in the tribulation period when he pours out his wrath upon a Christ rejecting world. For the sins of of her prophets and in the iniquities of her priests, and they have shed the blood of the just in the midst of her. And so the murder that was being committed all over the place, they have wandered like blind men in the streets. They have polluted and blind leading the blind themselves with blood, so they're defiled. So that the men could not touch their garments, they're like leprous. They cried unto them, depart unclean, depart, depart. Touch not when they fled away and wandered. They said among the nations, they shall no more sojourn there. So they're kicked out. The anger of the Lord has divided them. He will no longer regard them. They respected not the person of the priests. They favored not the elders. So these guys were corrupt. They led the people into sin. As for us, our eyes has yet failed for our vain help and our watching. We have watched for a nation that could could not save us. So no foreign alliances. Egypt couldn't save them. Nobody was coming to the rescue. They hunt our steps that we cannot go in the streets. Your end is near. Our days are fulfilled for our end has come, so there's no hope. And you and I have the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and savior Jesus. Right? Our persecutors are swifter than the eagles of the heavens. They pursued us upon the mountains. They laid wait for us in the wilderness. So in the chapter that we read in 39, Zedekiah is gonna try and flee out of the king's gate back way, and he almost does it. He's an hour away from getting across the Jordan, almost made it to safety, and they get caught, brought back. It's like a bad dream. Oh, this is this is God's judgment. In the tribulation period, God's gonna purify the nation of Israel and two thirds of them are gonna die. Two thirds of the nation of Israel is gonna die. A one third remnant is gonna be preserved, which the Bible calls the time of Jacob's trouble and a horrible time that Jesus said the world's never seen nor will ever see again. And he says, then except those days be shortened, if Jesus didn't intervene, then no flesh should be saved. Nation of Israel be completely wiped out. So the breath of our nostrils, the anointed of the Lord was taken in their pits of whom we said under his shadow, we shall live among the nations. So Zedekiah, their leader was helpless to protect them. Rejoice and be glad, oh daughter of Edom that dwell in the land of Uz. That's where Job is from. The cup also shall pass through unto thee. Thou shall be drunk and shall make thyself naked. So a call for vindication is gonna be a bitter cup of judgment. The punishment of thine iniquity is accomplished, o daughter of Zion. He will no more carry thee away into captivity. He will punish thine iniquity, daughter of Edom. He will uncover thy sins. So Edom's gonna be destroyed. Restoration for Israel in the future. Alright. Back to '39. So that's we're trying to rescue people from the tribulation period. We're trying to get people saved. And if they get saved, they won't have to go into the tribulation period. Right? And the tribulations period's gonna be the greatest holocaust, the greatest wiping out of human beings that in the history of the world. Right? So you're gonna have two thirds of the world wiped out from the seal and trumpet and bowl judgments, you know, and in a very, very short period of time. And Jesus is telling us in Luke, pray always that you'd be accounted worthy to escape these things and stand before the son of man. Now, if there wasn't a pre trib rapture, then why would he implore those who are around at that time to pray always that they'd be accounted worthy to escape these things. Why when he's speaking to the church of Philadelphia, does he let them know that he's going to protect them and deliver them from the wrath from the the time to come? It's because there's a pre trib rapture because he's he spoke on it in John fourteen one through three. He's speaking in Luke 21. The apostle Paul's teach teaching church of Thessalonica in chapter four, first Thessalonians. He's teaching the church of Philippi in chapter two concerning the pre trib rapture. He's teaching the church of Corinth in first Corinthians 15. He's teaching those who are reading the epistle of John in first John chapter three. Beloved, now are we the sons of God, it does not yet appear what we shall be, but we know that when he shall appear, we should be like him. He's teaching to the church of Rome in Romans eleven twenty five that blindness imparted happened unto Israel until the time of the Gentiles be fulfilled until the fullness of the Gentiles be fulfilled. Excuse me. Speaking of the rapture. So all through the Bible, we get a pre trib rapture, and yet today, the devil is trying to steal people's hope, trying to steal the glory that's due God's name and relegate people to a place of prepare to enter into the tribulation period. You know? How are gonna survive the tribulation period? Well, I want us to be prepared for whatever comes our way by focusing on Jesus. And it might be something as horrible as communism, which in the twentieth century, the communists, the governments you know, Mao killed 60,000,000 of his own people, not foreigners, and Stalin to implement his communism over Russia, 40,000,000. Hitler's doing his thing. I think fifteen fifteen million. You know? So close to 240 or 260,000,000 people are dying from their own governments in the twentieth century. So now we in the twenty first century, and we see that the the target is people, common people, farmers, moms, dads, homemakers. Just common people are the target of these tyrannical, mindless, demonic entities that are wanting to destroy, want to suicide, you know, the earth. And how tragic that is when your leaders don't lead and cause this to happen. Zedekiah is a very, very poor leader. He could have repented. He could have surrendered and saved the nation, and he could have surrendered to save his own family. But all he thinks about is himself, and he's he's gonna desert everybody, sneaking out a back gate, and he gets caught, and then he gets brought back. And the Chaldeans, the Babylonians, they execute all this family. Well, the previous chapter, Jeremiah is telling him, you can save your family. You can keep your family from being subject to that if you would just surrender to, you know, Nebuchadnezzar. So it isn't like he didn't know. He knew, but he chose to rebel. He chose in his pride. He chose to rebel, you know, that that take his chances. So it's very sad. Now Jeremiah, on the other hand, by the end of this chapter, he's given a choice, three different choices. Jeremiah, you can come with me to Babylon. We'll take really good care of you. Somehow, Nebuchadnezzar and the nation of Babylon heard about Jeremiah's prophecies, and they liked the fact that he'd been telling the truth all this time. And so you can come with us. We'll take really good care of you. You're older now, Jeremiah. We'll take care of you. Or, you know, you can you can stay here. So you got Zedekiah deserting the people, and you got Jeremiah deciding to stay with the people because there's gonna be a very poor remnant that are allowed to stay in Jerusalem with Gedaliah, who the king is gonna appoint as a governor for a period of time. And then once we get into chapter 40, we're gonna see that this guy named Ishmael is sent over to assassinate Gedaliah and and a bunch of the others. And so Jeremiah is grabbed by the remnant that's there. Rather than staying, they try to flee to Egypt. And when they're in Egypt, they they can't protect themselves. Nabi's gonna become but they're such sore losers. Tradition says that they execute Jeremiah when he's in Egypt. After all that, these sore losers kill the messenger. You know? So it's very, very sad to watch this. And so that people may not like the doom and gloom. The solution to the doom and gloom is repentance. We're not projecting like Eric Metaxas, he was recently speaking out of his mind concerning the rapture, saying there is no pre trib rapture. And this guy just wrote a book describing why there isn't one, and he's a guy that can even read hieroglyphics inside of caves. Oh. Now we're gonna follow a guy that can read the writing in caves. You know? And so and and he's angry, Eric Metaxas, because he feels like we're losing the country because we as Christians who are pre tribbers that were too passive. So what's the solution, Eric? There's no political solution. You know? What's the solution? And and he's written comparisons of how Nazi Germany was just prior to Hitler taking over and all and putting the blame upon, you know, the apostate church and the people and all. And but for us, us pre tribbers, they're angry at us because we are letting go of this world and putting our hope, our faith, our trust in Jesus. And the reason is because we know what time it is. We know what time it is. We can see because we're in first Thessalonians five. We can see the birth pangs. We can see the handwriting on the wall. We know that Jesus is coming. We can't deny the one world economic system. We can't deny the one world governmental system. We can't deny the Abraham House where the religions are gonna all, you know, come together as one religion. And so many other things, the rise of Gog, Magog, the rise of the other nations and the the subjugation of America, the wiping out of a superpower of America so that these other countries can be raised up. And the world divided into 10 regions. The club of Rome has a map of the world divided into 10 regions. And the Bible tells us in Daniel two and Daniel seven and Revelation thirteen and seventeen that there's gonna be 10 kings, one over each of these regions. And so we see that. We can see it coming. But apparently, these other guys call that doom and gloom. And I don't It's hard to I mean, I don't I don't I hear both mid trib and pre trib, and I'm just I don't have enough knowledge to know. And that's one of those things I just give it over to God and say it'll happen when it's happened. But it's hard to to not believe that the Jews who went through the holocaust were not thinking this is the wrath. I mean, how can you not think this is not how how can you have a worse than you know? I mean, I've walked through the concentration camps at Dachau, and it's overwhelming to to not think that but, of course, you know, like you're saying, it it wasn't set up. The beast system wasn't set up like we have now, and and all of that plays into it. I know. I just my brain can't handle it all. But but then there's also the the idea when you get into originals original languages, there's five different kinds of wrath. So to me, then that just blows me over the top because I'm like, oh, I can't I can't process all this. I mean, is it the wrath of accountability? Is it the wrath of judgment? Is there you know what? Then you gotta get back into original languages. I'm like, I got I I gotta go to work and pay my mortgage. So I I I can't get there. You don't have to go into those original languages. You stay with the Hebrew. You stay with that that exact word that's used, and it's a it's a boiling over. It's a boiling over described in the Hebrew, the wrath. How how is it that happened to them in the concentration camps was not and granted, it like you're saying, it was the rest of the system wasn't built up. It wasn't divided. They didn't have control. They didn't have one world economic system. They didn't have all these things that we see now that are clearly more writing on the wall, but it's just you know, you could I I guess my point is is you can see where people get bogged down because we're we're not learning in this, and we're trying to be, but there's so much that in my mind, it just it overwhelms me. And I'm like, it'll happen when it happens. When the trumpet sounds, I'm out of here. That's all I know. I mean, it's you know? It takes more faith to deny the pre trib rapture. It's so line upon line, so overwhelmingly proven that to try to follow a guy 1980 that came up with a pre wrath, where's the where's where's the guy come up with that? Yeah. That's something Jesus would have taught. That's something Paul would have taught. That's some we'd seen epistles, but you don't. You don't see it anywhere. So they it's poor scholarship that that's happening with these guys, and most people have no working knowledge of the scriptures' ability to refute it. So, you know, they get away with it because of the ignorance of the church. And so It wasn't important twenty years ago. No. I'm not saying it's not important, but it it's important now. You better get it. You better think about it now because it's there's so much writing on the wall that even us that couldn't peel back the 30,000 layers of onions to get to the middle to figure out what the truth is. You know, we're we're, like, at three layers before you get to the middle of that onion, whereas, you know, back in the eighties, it was like, yeah. It'll you know, We we mock God. When's it gonna happen? It's not gonna happen, and it was easy just to live your life and you know? Then that becomes a fulfillment of prophecy where Right. Peter says, you know, where's the promise of this coming? The people begin to scoff. And and so we walk by faith. The early church from the very first century has lived with an expectancy, a doctrine of eminency that Jesus could come at any moment. So God designed it this way, that he could come at any moment so all of us would be watching and ready and that he wouldn't come at a time where we're taken unaware. So that all throughout history, when Mao was allowed to wipe out the Chinese after king Chiang Kai shek got wiped out, the evangelists that were going over there were teaching concerning the pre trib rapture, and they kept anticipating to be raptured when Mao was coming against him, and it didn't happen. And so they were very, very, you know, upset and caught off guard. That wasn't the tribulation period. What wasn't taught was the tribulation period starts with the signing of a peace treaty with Israel. So they were taught poorly in their eschatology. So we don't say that the tribulation period starts with the rapture. We the rapture, there's no prophecy that needs to be fulfilled for the rapture to take place, the doctrine of imminency. No man knows the day or the hour. So we live with that expectancy that Jesus could come today. He could come at any moment, and that keeps us ready. Those that fall in love with the world are not gonna be ready. And so the Bible has much to say about about Christians being in love with the world, and we're a very prosperous society. So if you look at the church of Laodicea, which is the church of the last days, the apostate church, There's we're rich and increased with goods, need of nothing, and Jesus is on the outside of the church. So the church is in love with the prosperity since the eighties, even after World War two is that's what America's been about. And the other thing is Jeremiah does not get to realize or experience the blessings of the American church. He he's got nothing. There's nothing in the ledger. He has nothing after forty years of serving the Lord, where in my generation, every material thing you're given is a blessing from God. Mhmm. And if you don't have the material things, you must not be blessed. But Jesus said the cares of this life and the deceitfulness of riches can choke off that that seed and cause us to not have that first love for Jesus. We're in love with the stuff now, the blessings and all. And that's the that's the attitude of the church in Laodicea. The church of Philadelphia is a church being persecuted, and in that persecution, like any of us under persecution or sick or in a time of suffering, we're crying out, even so, come quickly, Lord Jesus. We want him to come. Him coming is the solution to every problem any of us will ever have. One of the pastors phrased it this way, what problem do you have that the rapture won't solve? You know? So that's where we need to be. We need to be occupying till he comes about our father's business, but we also need to be diligent in giving people hope that as the church, Jesus has promised that he's coming. Now if we miss that time, if we missed and set aside that hope, then we're robbing him of the glory that's to his name. We should be a bride that's awaiting this you know, he could come at any moment. I my lamp's burning. I got I'm looking out the window. He could be coming, and that's Matthew 25, the five wise virgins. We're ready. I don't wanna be those that are saying, where's the promise of his coming? And then begin to trust and read books from guys that can read hieroglyphics on cave walls or who are these people? You know? All throughout church history, there's church fathers and the Bible that's speaking of a pre trib rapture. And so I don't don't don't wanna lose that hope. I don't wanna I don't wanna lose the joy and the blessing in this time. Like, what if I was living in the first century and I didn't recognize Jesus? What if I lived at the time that he came and I didn't recognize him? I didn't have the working odds of the scripture or the understanding or faith in him, and I was looking for a conquering king to overthrow the Romans, I missed it. You know? I mean, do you know the level of unbelief those people had? You gotta deny all those miracles, all those things he did, and keep me persistent and like, you know, no, he's not the Messiah. No. He's not oh, who is he then? You know? Mhmm. Unbelief is is is frightening. And It's discouraging when people like Eric Patakis, you know, says things like there's not even any rat. I mean, that to me, that is it's like, where did that I mean, you've you've spent your life as a historical, you know, researcher, and you understand the depths of depravity that people lived through with all your Holocaust and, you know, Bonhoeffer, and then you say something like you're just like, where'd that come from? You know? Well, he's got too much to lose. Same thing that happened during COVID. Those that had too much to lose conformed. They gave in real quick. A lot of these guys are making a million dollars a year. Why would they they don't want no rapture. They're enjoying what they got, and they wanna figure out a way to keep it. But they'll keep it up until the rapture, so how how do they lose anything? You know? I mean, I don't know. It's just They're they're thinking that that we can keep it. We can get a Trump in there. We can get somebody in there to preserve this, and fight this, and fight evil, and we can stop the the Hitlers, and we can stop all these. Oh, Germany should've this, should've that. And it's a spiritual problem. It's a it's a problem spiritually. The church is decimated because of lack of teaching the word of God. The people can't understand the word nor are they willing to apply it to their lives in a, you know, in a big way. So Did did some people think that the rapture was happening when COVID started? Not that I'm aware of. When COVID started, I don't know what they're think they weren't thinking. It was twilight. They're still not It's weird. It was weird. Bizarre time in my entire lifetime. I I can't even imagine how weird all over the world, the talking points, the brainwashing, the propaganda, and just the fear, level of fear that people exhibited was just I've never seen it before. I think they were all scared they were gonna die. Yeah. The way it was the way it was projected. Uh-huh. Alright. Well, let's keep going. So they besieged it in the eleventh year of Zedekiah in the fourth month, the tenth day of the month, the city was broken up. So from the time the siege siege started, the western calculating of time, it was eighteen months. The Hebrew calendar, calculating this period here, was about thirty months. So longer by the the Hebrew calculation of how long the siege because if you look that up, you're gonna get two different opinions of the dates. And so it was bothering me, so I I had to dig in a little bit further. And so the Hebrew calculation is thirty months. The Western calculation calendar would be about eighteen, nineteen months of of the siege there. So in the eleventh year of Zedekiah in the fourth month, the tenth day of the month, the city was broken up. And the princess of the king of Babylon came in and sat in the middle gate, even Nagarlacherezizar, Samgarnibbo, Sarashin, the Rab heiress, Nigal Charizur, the Rab Rabmag. And so this is the quartermaster with all the residue of the princes of the king of Babylon. So no rescue. This is prophesied by Jeremiah that this would happen. Their city remember remember Job or excuse me, Lot. We saw that he was one of the leaders of Sodom and Gomorrah because he sat at the city gate. So this is this is now foreigners sitting at the city gate. So it'd be like the Chinese and the Russians invading Washington DC, and they're seated in the White House. They're seated, you know, at congress, and all of our representatives are are gonna die. They're gonna be hung. They're gonna be something's gonna happen to them. Because that's what they're doing with these nobles. We'll see. They're gonna they're gonna wipe out their their nobles. And so they're in control. It's the it's the loss of the country there. And and it came to pass that when Zedekiah the king of Judah saw them and all the men of war, then they fled and went forth out of the city by night, and by the way of the king's garden, which Nehemiah three five says this is by the Pool Of Siloam is where this is located, by the gate between the two walls, and he went out the way of the Arabah. So the guy has no faith. He's overwhelmed by darkness. Nobody's come to rescue him. He's been told ahead of time, and he persists into thinking that he can flee. When John the Baptist was baptizing in Matthew chapter three verse seven, the Sadducees and the Pharisees came there and he said, you know, you brood of vipers, who did warn you to flee from the wrath to come? You know, the way that he spoke to him. And so he's fleeing. Now, again, we contrast him with the prophet Jeremiah. Jeremiah didn't flee. Jeremiah didn't try to save himself. Jeremiah is going to stay behind to try and console the people and minister to the people as God gives him word. Maybe you felt like fleeing before, fleeing your marriage, fleeing your city, fleeing your job. Things get tough. There's a there's a real strong urge to flee. When Jesus was on the cross, the devil was tempting him with people coming up. If you are the son of God, save yourself and come down from that cross, you know? I don't like the idea of succumbing to that fear and quitting and fleeing, especially if God's called us to to be here and hasn't released us. If the Lord were to release us and say, alright, you're finished here. I'm moving you to a different place. That's fine. Pastor Chuck went to a lot of different locations as a pastor, him and his wife. They were in a denomination of the Foursquare, and the Foursquare had moved these guys every two, three years. Calvary Chapel pastors, on the other hand, we plant a church from scratch in most cases, and we sense God's calling to a location, a place that you're at, and you're to be faithful. You're just to be faithful like Jeremiah is. You just be faithful. It doesn't matter how many years you've been there. It doesn't matter what's in the ledger. Doesn't matter how buildings or no buildings or bank accounts or whatever. You're there to be faithful and just to to witness, you know, be a witness, you know, of the Lord. So be faithfulness is key. Psalm a hundred thirty nine seven says, where shall I flee from your presence? You know, if I go into hell, you're there. If I rise to heaven, you're there. If I go to Mexico, you're there. There's no place you can run that God's not still there. Prison, the palace, he's everywhere. And so you can't flee from his presence. And I like that in the sense that Jesus said, lo, I'm with you always even to the end of the age. Right? That he's we're never gonna be alone. The lord is in a positive way. That's a good thing. So he went between the two walls and he went out the way of the Arabah, which is where the Ammonites are toward the Jordan. So he's heading toward the deserting toward the Jordan River, and he's thinking if I can just get across the Jordan, but they catch him just before he's gonna, you know, make it there and doesn't doesn't make it. And so so after them and overtook Saddaikai in the Plains Of Jericho. And when they had taken him, they brought him to Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon in Ribla. So see how we started out and it said how Nebuchadnezzar was there. Nebuchadnezzar's over in Ribla, so a little bit ways away from Jerusalem in the area of Syria, and they brought him there. And Riblah in the land of Haman where he gave judgment upon him. So real quick, he's 32 years old. He's got children, some of whom are infants. And it says, then the king of Babylon slew the sons of Zedekiah in Riblah before his eyes. Also, the king of Babylon slew all the nobles of Judah, which we would say would be those false prophets. All those people that were fighting against Jeremiah all the time, these false prophets, the ones that wanted him executed and all, they're executed, but his sons, his children. And in chapter 38, remember in verse 23, so they shall bring out all your wives and your children, the Chaldeans, and thou shall not escape out of their hand, but shall be taken by the hand of the king of Babylon, and thou shall cause the city to be burned with fire. So Jeremiah is telling the previous chapter, repent, stop, surrender. You'll save your kids. You'll save the city. Otherwise, they're gonna be burned. You're gonna lose everything. So Nebuchadnezzar commands that his family be burned in front of him. Moreover, he put out Zedekiah's eyes and bound him with chains to carry him to Babylon. Now who wants to read Ezekiel twelve twelve, twelve, and thirteen? Ezekiel twelve, twelve, and 13. Here's a really powerful prophecy fulfilled right here. Ezekiel twelve twelve and thirteen. Close attention to verse 13. Everybody got it? Even Zedekiah will leave Jerusalem at night, throw a hole in the wall, taking only what he can carry with him. He will cover his face and his eyes will never see his tree homeland again. Then I will spread out my net and capture him in my in my snare. I will bring him to Babylon and the land of the Babylonians, though he will never see it, and he will die there. So if you first read that prophecy in Ezekiel, he's gonna be brought there, but he'll never see it. What's that mean? Yeah. Plugged his eyes out. And so Ezekiel is prophesying this ahead of time and and powerful fulfillment right there. He says, moreover, put out Zedekiah's eyes, verse seven, and bound him with chains to carry him to Babylon. Now the Assyrians, when they would conquer, Jerusalem was conquered a hundred and thirty years after the 10 northern tribes. So in July, the Assyrians conquered the 10 northern tribes. Southern tribe Judah wasn't conquered. The lord didn't allow the Assyrians to do it, but there were periods of time where the Assyrians did get the upper hand. They're able to take, like, Manasseh and others, and they put hooks fish hooks in their jaws and do things that were just atrocious, you know, just inhumane. Well, he's got he's just wrapped up in chains and and taken to Babylon. Now a Roman triumph do you remember what a Roman triumph is? Mhmm. We're triumphant in Christ. Right? Yep. He he's made he's made it so that we are a triumphant. And so Roman triumph would be in a in a battle victory like this. The generals and the priests would walk, and the conquering general would be up on a on a horse, you know, prominent. And they would have the kings and nobility of the of the people that they conquered and some of their exotic animals and things like that. And they would come into Rome where the senate is and and the Caesars, and this would be their triumphal entry. They would enter in their triumph and but they'd have the some of the kings that they grabbed hold of in chains and everything, and then it'd be priests there. And the priests would take this incense and they twist it like this, and then the smell would come up. And Paul uses that imagery to say, to some, it's the fragrance of death because those who are conquered know they're gonna die here in Rome, a spectacle Theatron. Everyone's gonna watch it. But for us, it's a victory. It's a victory because Jesus wins. So for us, that fragrance of Christ is a reminder that we're victors because we share in his victory. So we're more than conquerors through him that loved us. So very shameful. His family's wiped out. I mean, guys like this don't have any remorse, do they? What is it about these guys that can continually make these kind of decisions? All they care about is themselves. It's just mind boggling to me. I mean, wouldn't it be better to lay your life down, let your family live? I mean, you would think. Mhmm. So and then here we come with the with the burning. Verse eight, and the Chaldeans burned the king's house and the houses of the people with fire and broke down the walls of Jerusalem. And in Nehemiah chapter one verse three, seventy years later, Cyrus is gonna allow Ezra and Nehemiah to go back to Jerusalem and rebuild the walls. Remember? Remember Nehemiah? He's got a trowel. His guys have a trowel on one hand, and they got a sword in the other because they have, you know, resistance from Tobiah and Sam Ballot and the guys there that the Arabs that didn't want this rebuilt. And so he's bound in chains, and we're reminded of of Sampson in Judges sixteen twenty one when he was captured and he told Delilah the secret of his strength was his long hair Mhmm. Is that accurate? Was that the secret of his strength? No. No. It was Pardon me? It was God. It was God. His relationship with God. So symbolic of that relationship in that he took a Nazarite vow. He wasn't supposed to be around corruption, and so he gave a riddle about honey being in the mouth of the eater and the lion. You know? He didn't lose his strength. He wasn't to drink anything of the fruit of the vine or vodka or anything like that. He wasn't supposed to drink that. And and he was a partier, so he's drinking. Still had his still had his strength. And then the third one was his hair. His hair symbolized his separation unto God. And so when Delilah said, you know, Samson, the Philistines are upon you, they overthrew him, and he was just as weak as any other man we read. Now the tragedy is it says that Samson knew not that the holy spirit had departed. So there's there's a period in our backsliding where we sort of get away with it. We can still serve the lord, you know, you know, going on fumes or whatever. But there's a day where where God's gonna judge. And he judged Samson, and it says that they bound him, and then they plucked his eyes out. And then they put him into, like, where their temple Dagon was, and they used him as an ox to tread grain. So he was going in a circle treading grain, and it says the next verse, it says, sixteen two, that his hair began to grow back. So we look at it, first of all, that sin, you look at all these people. Why don't they see what's happening? Because sin blinds blinds you. You just don't see. Your your perceptivity is is not there like it should be. You don't have discernment. You look at COVID. You look at all that happened. We're a sinful nation, and sin blinds us. And then sin binds us. We're bound. We go into bondage. We give up our freedom for security. Right? We go in we're going into bondage. Mhmm. And then the next thing is we're gonna be grinding. Sin grinds. When you're outside of God's will, there's a grinding that takes place in your heart and life. You don't have that peace that you once had. And so that's where that's where Sampson was. That's where we go. That's where Zedekiah is. His sin has blinded them. His sin has caused them to be bound, and and he's gonna be grinding. He's gonna be grinding his teeth. Right? Can't see anything. Just kinda grinding away. There's folks so tormented that they grind their teeth at night trying to sit sleep. Jesus said weeping and gnashing of teeth. Right? Weeping and gnashing of teeth, just so wiped out. And so they burned the king's house and the houses of the people with fire, and they broke down the walls of Jerusalem. And, then Nebuchadnezzadan, the captain of the guard, carried away the captives into Babylon, the remnant of the people who remained in the city, and those who fell away who fell to him with the rest of the people who remain. So he's gonna take some as a as a as hostages back and others others as a small the poor, as we read a few more verses here, are allowed to have vineyards. They're able to take the land. They're able to prosper, so to speak. And and so they're able to they're able to stay stay behind. Now turn to Daniel chapter two. Who wants to well, who wants to read Revelation 16 verse 19? I will. Okay. Who wants to read Daniel two thirty four and thirty five? Anybody? I'll read that. Daniel 32, what is that? Two thirty four and thirty five, and then finish it up with 44. Two forty four also. Three verses for you. And then I've got Revelation nineteen eleven and Revelation nineteen twenty one for the next. Nineteen eleven. And then, Cheryl, do you wanna read Matthew five verse five? Mhmm. Okay. Betty, do you want one? Yeah. Proverbs sixteen seven. 16. Seven. Yep. Alright. So really cool verses here. Revelation sixteen nineteen. Oh, sixteen nineteen. It isn't 16 through 19. What what was Daniel again? I can't Daniel two thirty four and thirty five and Daniel two forty four. Okay. Got it. Revelation Sixteen nineteen. And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell. And great Babylon came in remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath. So God used the Babylonians to subdue his people. God in the last days the Babylon originates with with Nimrod in Genesis ten eleven. Right? Babylon, Babel, and they're building a tower. So that whole religious system originates there at Babel. The one world governmental system originates there at Babel, where Nimrod is a great hunter and that he's a rebel against God. He's fighting against God the same way the new world order today is fighting against God. So Babylon, Revelation seventeen and eighteen, 17 is the religious Babylon, the one world religious system, and 18 is the economic and political part of Babylon that's destroyed as as a moment, economic and political. All the mariners, the merchants are looking from afar. And as we studied with Mark over the weekend, you know, part of the indictment was is those who stole the souls of men. Now those who commit fornication, they're they're being one sold with somebody else. They're being sold out. They're a piece of a person goes with the other. So I believe part of it has to do with the human trafficking and and stealing the souls of men, the the illicit sexual activity of trafficking people. And it talks about also the sorcery that the globalists used, that of pharmakia and trafficking they were trafficking in the souls of men. One of the largest businesses in the world now is the trafficking of the souls of children of men, women, and children. So I see. That's There was a guy. He was I don't know if he was a coach or something. He just got convicted of traffic trafficking children. I wish more of them would. I know. Right? I don't know what his name is or anything, but I heard that, and I thought It's horrible. That was closer than you think. Yeah. In Revelation 18 verse 13, it says the it says, and the cinnamon and the incense and the ointments and the frankincense and the wines of the commodities, the oil, the flour, the wheat, the cattle, the sheep, the horses, and chariots, and slaves and souls of men. Human trafficking. Pedos. And then over in verse 23, it says, and the light of the lamp shall shine no more at all in thee, and the voice of the bridegroom and the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee. For thy merchants were the great men of the earth, for by thy their sorceries were all nations deceived. Boy, isn't that COVID? Isn't that the pharmakia? God's gonna deal with them. Okay. So back here, we've got Revelation sixteen nineteen was read. Right? Mhmm. So Daniel two thirty four, 35, and 44. Okay. You continued looking until a stone was cut out without hands, and it struck the statue on its feet of iron and clay and crushed them. Then the iron, the clay, the bronze, the silver, and the gold were crushed all at the same time and became like chaff from the summer threshing floors. And the wind carried them away so that not a trace of them was found. But the stone that struck the statue became a great mountain and filled the whole earth. And then 44? Yep. In the days of those kings, the God of heaven will set up a kingdom which will never be destroyed, and that kingdom will not be left for another people. It will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms, but it will itself endure forever. Amen. So in Daniel two thirty four and thirty five, Nebuchadnezzar has a dream, and his dream and his image describes the times of the Gentiles. So right here when Jerusalem is destroyed and burned and all, the transfer from Jewish goes to the Gentiles. So Babylon, that statue that that Nebbe sees, the head of gold is him, and then it becomes, you know, the silver and the brass and then the feet of clay. So the picture there is the picture of the times of the Gentiles, where the Babylonians are going to be subdued by the Persian Empire, Daniel chapter five, and Cyrus and Darius come. And then Alexander the Great is gonna subdue the the have a global empire and subdue the the Persians, who is present day Iran. And then the Romans are gonna come and subdue the Greeks, the Grecian empire of Alexander. And the time of Christ comes along, and he's the stone which was set and not of the builders. So this stone in the last days is Jesus, and he is going to destroy all the Gentile nations. So the rebirth of the Roman Empire in the tribulation period, the sign of the peace treaty, is the rebirth of that Roman Empire and imperial rule. So in Daniel twenty one twenty four, Jesus said that this was happened until the fullness or of the times of the Gentiles is fulfilled. The times of the Gentiles is the times leading up from this point, leading all the way up to the point in time that that the Lord comes back and subdues the Antichrist in that rebirth Roman Empire, that 10 toes. In Daniel two, the image of the image that Nebbe has has 10 toes. That's the kind of imperial government that's gonna roll. In chapter seven, it's ten ten horns. Horns signify power. In Revelation thirteen and seventeen, crowns, and then the Revelation commentary said kings. So these 10 kings going all the way back to Daniel two, the image of the statue that Nebbe had. And so here we have right here, we have the times of the Gentiles starting starting here and ending verse 44 that Robbie read. When Jesus comes, he's the stone that's gonna wipe out all the other nations. You get that? Mhmm. Okay. Who was the it was Babylonian and the king. Nebbe was the gold head. Who was the Medo Persians for the silver? Silver? That's Cyrus and Darius. Oh, Cyrus. Okay. King Cyrus. Okay. God surnamed him a hundred and ninety years before he was Right. Even born. Mhmm. Darius the Medes. So you had the Medes and the Persians. The Medes in Iraq right now are the Kurds, and then the Persians are the Iranians. And so a global empire for a period short short lived, so too is Babylon's empire, you know, less than seventy years before Belteshazzar in chapter five where, you know, Cyrus and his army came in. There was a siege there at Babylon. They were able to come in under the levied gates on into the city. So now when we talk about the times of the Gentiles, it speaks again of the end of the times of the Gentiles is at the second coming of Christ. He's gonna beat the antichrist. He's gonna subdue all the armies of the world with the brightness of his coming, the sword of his mouth. Now what is the what does it mean blindness in part has happened unto Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles be come in? Romans eleven twenty five. That's the rapture. Isn't right? Yeah. Yeah. We differentiate the fullness of the rapture, the times of the Gentiles. I mean, the fullness of the Gentile times of the Gentiles. Now some would argue that in 1967, when the Jews, they had their sixty seven war and their seventy three war, when they took possession of Jerusalem, no longer divided with the Jordanian Jordanians, that that was the end of the times of the Gentiles, but not true because Israel still has to divide up everything, still doesn't have absolute sovereignty over their own land presently, but they will when Jesus comes. And and the Antichrist and them are gonna they're coming to Jerusalem to do battle. The Russians are coming to do battle. Five out of every six of the invading force can be wiped up by god. So not until Jesus comes, that stone that can't be cut without hands, you know, in Daniel seven, not until he comes and crushes all those other nations. Then we see as we read further, we're gonna see in Ezekiel 40 through 48, the millennial reign, the one thousand year rule and reign of Jesus upon the earth. And the Gentiles that come in out of the tribulation period that begin to repopulate the planet in their human bodies, repopulating having children. But you and I and again, different types of saints. We have Old Testament saints. We have church saints. We have tribulation saints, and we have saints that are in the millennium. And Jesus is gonna be ruling and reigning as king of kings and lord of lords. The nation of Israel is gonna enter into all of their promises that God had given to them geographically in every way. And David ruling as a prince, and the apostles various thrones and positions, but dominance over the Gentiles, complete dominance over all the Gentile kings and nations that begin to repopulate the planet. Okay. So I love those passages in Daniel. They're so so amazing. Revelation nineteen eleven and nineteen twenty one. Nineteen eleven. Oh, that's And I saw heaven open, and behold, a white horse, and he that sat upon him is called faithful and true. And in his righteousness, he did judge and make more. And twenty one? And twenty one. And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth and all the fowls were filled with their flesh. So it was a it was a slaughter, a supper for the carnivorous birds of the air. God's gonna feed the kings of the earth and all these rebels to carnivorous birds of the of the air, their bodies strewn, the blood, eyes of horses bridle, and Jesus wins. And then Matthew five verse five. This one's easy. Blessed are the meek for they shall inherit earth. So watch this. Verse 10. But Nebuchadnezzaradan, the captain of the guard, left the the poor of the people who had nothing. They're the meek. Right? They're the meek ones the land of in the land of Judah and gave them vineyards and fields at that time. I like to think of Hannah. She was barren. She couldn't have a child. And her husband, Elkanah, he says, aren't I better to you than 10 sons? Egotistical husband. Right? And Penaya was able to have children, and she would rub it in, you know, Hannah's face, rub it in her face, provoking her. And Hannah went to the temple, the not the temple, but the tent of meeting, and Eli, the priest was there, and she was praying, sobbing, her just her lips were moving, but no words were coming out. And he thought she was drunk. She said, I'm not drunk, heartbroken. And he prophesied over and she wound up getting pregnant and had little Samuel, you know, blessed from God. And she had her whole magnificent like like Mary, her whole prayer and her praise toward God. And she talked about the loneliness of being a handmaiden, and she said the barren are now no longer barren but plentiful, you know, blessed. And so the poor, you know, are rich in the millennium. Right? And the poor are gonna the meek shall inherit the earth. Goes contrary to man's way of communism of the law of the, you know, the strong against the poor. Now Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon gave charge concerning Jeremiah to Nebuchadnezzar, the captain of the guards, saying, take him and look well to him and do him no harm. So Nebuchadnezzar had heard about Jeremiah, that he's the guy that's been telling them to, you know, to, you know, to surrender, surrender, surrender. So here, Jeremiah, even his enemies, when your ways please, Lord, you know, you find favor even with your enemies in Proverbs 16 verse seven. And so he's vindicated here. He's well known even by the enemies of Israel. Do him no harm, but do unto him even as he shall say unto thee. So give him liberty. Give him the freedom to decide what he wants from here forward. So Nebuchadnezzaradan, the rebar Arsis and Nergal, Shar'izzur, the Rambagh, and all the king of Babylon's princes, even they sent and took Jeremiah out of the court of the prison, so he's been in prison, and committed it unto Gadalaiah, the son of Ahikam, the son of Shaphan, that he should carry him home so he dwelt among the people. I mean, you're going home, Jeremiah. You're going home. You're not in prison anymore. You've fought the good fight. You've been a missionary, and now you're heading home. You're heading back home. And is there anybody there to greet him back home? Is there a big celebration? Jeremiah's back. Jeremiah's back. No? They're not gonna do that, are they? And and and again, I wanna remind ourselves that Jeremiah did not desert his people. When you're in the military, you don't leave your post. When you're in the military, you're under the command of Jesus. Right? The captain of our faith. And you do your duty. You have a duty. You have a job. You have a function. And you don't wanna go AWOL. You don't wanna have a dishonorable discharge. Right? You wanna be faithful and bring glory and honor under your Lord. Are they are they understanding that he's prophesizing this and that this stuff is coming true? Are they understanding that it's coming? Jeremiah is writing this after the fact. Oh. This chapter 38, he's telling the future. 39, he's recording what happened. Okay. This is this is the dates there that we started with. This is he's given you the picture, the eighteen years, Western calendar, thirty years, the Hebrew, the siege, and I told you what was gonna happen. This is what happened. Okay. And it's written four times in the Bible. It's that important. Four different sections describing historically, you know, what happened. Okay. Okay? And so that he's with Galilei, and now verse 15. Now the word of the Lord came unto Jeremiah while he was shut up in the court of the prison saying, go and speak unto Ebed Melek, the Ethiopian. So this is the guy that went to the king when Jeremiah was down in the in the pit. Right? The mire? And he went and got the cords, and he got the nice little old shirts, rags, and put them underneath his armpits, you know, lifted them out. He went and told the king, he's gonna die in there. He's gonna die in there. And so Zedekiah allowed him to go and and rescue him. So go and speak to Ebed Melek, the Ethiopian saint, thus saith the the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, behold, I will bring my words upon this city for evil and not for good, and they shall be accomplished in that day before thee. But I will deliver thee in that day, saith the Lord, and thou shall not be given into the hand of the men of whom thou are afraid. So Ebed Melek is being rewarded. He took the risk. Now he's being rewarded. In chapter 37 through 13, he was being helped, helping Jeremiah, and and now Jeremiah's reminded of of what God said concerning Ebed Melech the Ethiopian. So this is a guy from Africa. Right? Ethiopia. And and he's a servant to the king, to Zedekiah, but he must have some faith. Right? He must have some faith in God, that you're a living God. Right? And so now the Lord says to him, but I will deliver thee in that day, saith the Lord, and thou shalt not be given into the hand of the men of whom you are afraid. He's afraid of being given to those guys that that were trying to kill Jeremiah. For I will surely deliver thee, and thou shall not fall by the sword, but thy life shall be for a prize unto thee, because thou hast put thy trust in me, saith the Lord. So you can put your trust in man. Psalm a 118, eight, nine. Right? It's better to put your trust in God than in men. It's better to put your trust in God than in princes. Mhmm. Right? In your government. If you're putting your trust in Republicans and Democrats right now, you are not thinking. You're just not thinking, and you gotta put your trust in Jesus. That's why it's so astounding to me that people keep thinking in America, so many people that you should be able to respect, keep falling back on this if we could just get Christians to vote. Well, you know what? Christians do vote, and we did vote. They stole the votes with their dominion and their their Diebold machines and all their other chicanery not counting votes. They stole the election. Okay? And and they've been doing it for a while. And and besides that, it's the uniparty. It's the Republicans and Democrats are globalists, paid off by the globalists. So I had a last week, I had a a video that I watched, and the guys were talking about in the video. You'll have to go on my page. I think I posted it. But there were 20 did I tell you guys about the 20, like, spec op guys, guys that do foreign, you know, infiltration and then regime change and or, like, bombing up bridges and stuff like that. And there's a Texarkana nuclear power plant, and these guys were offered, and their commanding officer, their commander guy was, you know, looping them in. And they were gonna create a false flag by bombing a Texarkana nuclear site in America, in Arkansas. And they were given duffel bags of money, $5,000,000 each. Remember how I keep saying that over and over again? Part of the way the guys are succumbing to this is there's unlimited funds, unlimited money if you'll do it, if you'll do the evil. All of them being paid. All of them are taking this funny money. And the guy said, no. This isn't what we signed up for. This isn't who we are, you know, to do this to our own people. So at the end of the runway where they were brought in, they just left the duffel bags of money and, you know, and left. So there are some good guys still, if that story is true. There still are some good guys, and they can't be bought in that way. And so hopefully hopefully, some of those kind of guys, God's not done with them yet. You know? They'll be able to slow down the putrefaction, the corruption that's coming as Rome was destroyed from within. So we don't have a siege around us. We have an invasion force. Replacements are coming in. Chinese, with the help of the UN, are bringing in their people already, pre preposition them all over our country, given thousands and thousands of dollars to get ready their military age, and prepositioned weapons all over our country, prepositioned weapons and ready for the chaos to ensue. Already, started in New York. You've got, you know, I don't know if it's it's if it's an antifa, you know, Black Lives Matters type stuff. What happens is is they got brand new shoes on and and hoodies, and they're supposed to be these immigrants beating up two cops and stuff like that. A lot a lot of that is, crisis actors. It's designed to get people filled with rage and anger and, oh my gosh. You know? And then the crisis reaction solution, what do you think the solution is? Our police officers can't handle it, and we're gonna have to bring in UN peacekeepers, martial law. That's the endgame. That's where they wanna, bring it to with this chaos they're they're creating. And then with with war, all of our troops and stuff, everybody being, know, in The Middle East as it escalates, then what happens here on our soil if things get out of hand here? And so you can kinda see it coming with an economic crash mixed in there, the BRIC nations, Saudi Arabia, China, Russia, India, these these countries are already depegging themselves from the dollar, and so we can see it. He says, so I will deliver thee in that day, saith the Lord, and thou shall not be given into the hand of the men of whom thou art afraid. For I will surely deliver thee, and thou shall not fall by the sword. So if God be for us, who can be against us? But thy life shall be a prize unto thee because thou has put thy trust in me, saith the Lord. And so vain is the help of man. So Hebrews eleven six says, without faith, it's what? The hospital will please god. For they that come to him Must believe that he is. And what? A rewarder. A rewarder. There you go. So you might have to wait for the reward. You might have to wait. In Hebrews 11, the guys had to wait. Right? In the ledger, the heavenly ledger, there's a whole lot of good things Jeremiah did. On the earthly bank account, he didn't have a bank account. He bought a piece of land. He doesn't get you know, what's he gonna get to that piece of land the lord had him had him buy? Not a whole lot. And for all that he does for these people, they wind up killing them anyway. So which of the prophets did you not kill? Did your fathers not kill? You know? So we keep being faithful. So in Matthew five verse seven, we're shareholding dread. Blessed are the merciful for they shall obtain mercy. Hebet Melek was merciful, the only guy merciful, but he got somehow got the king merciful to Jeremiah, and God's rewarding that faith that he had and that intervention in rescuing Jeremiah from that. So God says, hey, I'm singling this guy out. He's he's one of mine. Now when we talk about god's word being fulfilled, Jeremiah vindicated after forty years. You guys can write this down if you want. I think he has it. So god said, there would be disaster from the North. Jeremiah one verse 14, God said, there would be disaster from the North. Jeremiah four verse six, there would be disaster from the North. Jeremiah six twenty two, there would be disaster from the North. Jeremiah thirteen twenty, disaster from the North. A strange foreign nation would attack. Jeremiah five fifteen. Now remember, forty years. I got saved in 1980. So it's been how long? Twenty forty three years. So a lot of talk about the rapture and prophecy and getting right with Jesus, people can blow off. Like Robbie says, that's a long time ago. People don't care. Well, there's a day of vindication. There's a day of vindication where God's word, heaven and earth will pass away, Jesus said, but my word will not pass away. It's gonna be fulfilled. Every jot and every tittle of his word is gonna be fulfilled. That's one consonant. That's one thing we can bank on is God's word will be fulfilled. We don't need to be confused about that. And here here's a instance of that. Strange foreign nation would attack, Jeremiah five fifteen. Jerusalem would be besieged. So way back in Jeremiah four seventeen, Jeremiah said that. Jeremiah six verse three, God said. Jeremiah six verse six, God said, you would be besieged. God told them ahead of time there would be famine, and we read in Lamentations the extent of that famine. Jeremiah four fourteen one through six, the famine. Jeremiah fourteen sixteen through 18, the famine. Jeremiah eighteen twenty one describing the famine. When you get a lot of food, you know, you're not afraid. But Bill Gates and these guys are buying up all the farms. They're ruining food production. They're destroying places of processing chickens and beef and all that. They're making three d meats and synthetic stuff and bugs and crickets and all that. And they're moving the world in a direction of famine. Stalin wiped out 20,000,000 Ukrainians by famine. Why would you demonize farmers? Why are the French farmers going insane? Why are why are the farmers, in Norway, you know, with their tractors and all that coming into the cities? Because these governments are trying to destroy farms. Why are they visiting the Amish who are the best farmers out anywhere and trying to describe that they're hurting the planet? You know, it's because they wanna stop food production. They wanna create a famine. The whole land would be laid waste, god said. Jeremiah twenty five eleven. Nations and kingdoms would be torn down. Jeremiah one verse 10. Death would enter the city. Jeremiah nine twenty one fifteen seven through nine and eighteen twenty one. Enemy kings would sit in the gates of Jerusalem. Jeremiah one verse five. That's forty years earlier. God heaven Jeremiah warned them and let them know that. The city would be burned. Remember when Jesus looked at the city of Jerusalem and wept over it? Knowing that in seventy AD that Titus would surround the city, besiege the city of Jerusalem, that not one stone would remain upon another. Do you know why that is? You guys know why. There was gold in between them. Because they caught fire. There was a fire that broke out in the temple, Herod's Temple. And as Robbie said, the the temple wasn't as elaborate and beautiful as Solomon's Temple, but they had gold in there. And the gold melted and went in the cracks of the stones, and so the soldiers priebared every single stone. Jesus said not one stone remain upon another. You know? And he wept over the city knowing it. You know? So the city would be burned. Jeremiah twenty-one 10, Jeremiah twenty-one 14, Jeremiah 3two 39, Jeremiah 30 four:two, and Jeremiah 3four 22, Jeremiah 3seven:eight, Jeremiah 3eight 18, and Jeremiah 3eight 23. Boy, God's letting you know the city's gonna be burned. People taken into exile, God said. Jeremiah ten seventeen and eighteen, Jeremiah thirteen seventeen through 19, Jeremiah fifteen fourteen, and Jeremiah seventeen four, people would be taken into exile. So everything that Jeremiah said after forty years of ministry has come to pass, he's vindicated. And so too the Lord will vindicate you to all your enemies, all the principalities and powers. God is going to fulfill his word in your life. Every single promise that God's given you is gonna be fulfilled. You can bank on his word. Sometimes Kathy will say, no, it's just not Kathy. Someone else says this. Do you ever think the Lord will renege in heaven? Do you ever think we're gonna get to heaven and be surprised like, oh god. It's not as good as we thought. You know? No. No. I think that's better. Better. Better. Better. Much better. In this life, a lot of a lot of what we learn when we're young Christians, so much of the prosperity doctrine and stuff, positioned us and put us in the spot where we expected a lot. As we looked around, Christians have a lot, and I'm a new Christian, and God's gonna bless me like he's blessing them. You know? And then as you move forward to a time like this, it's gonna be way different, way, way different as we start to lose things. And a lot of these pastors make a million dollars a year. They're not gonna be making a million dollars a year. A lot of the Christians, you know, two, three houses and all this stuff, and they don't wanna lose it. They're they're they're still young, and they wanna they wanna enjoy it. They work so hard, and they have it. And why would you wanna lose it? And none of us would want to. But for a lot of us, when Robbie got married, she didn't dream that after twenty five years, she'd be in this situation. You never could have conceived that. Doesn't ever enter your mind. It would never happen because you're in God's will. We would we would have never thought that we'd plant a church up here and pour our hearts, everything, the best years of our life in it and then lose it all. You never could have told me that was possible. There's no way that can happen. No way. That four people closest to us would die right at that same time. Incredible over the top cruelty. Cruelty. And we never we never could have anticipated that. That was just not possible. But but we have promises that all things work together for good for those who love God and are called according to his purpose. We can bank on that. And that that which the enemy meant for evil, God's gonna turn around for good to save many people. So whether it's Robbie or me or Kathy or you, the divorce, the loss of a child, whatever it is, you may not anticipate that as, you know, but God has promises within his word to comfort you, to help you that are yes and amen. He's going to fulfill his plan and his purposes for your life. And in some cases, your life may be like Job. In some cases, your life may be like Jeremiah. In some cases, your life might be like Jesus or Paul. Right. Your life may not be like we see in this anomaly, this period of time of unprecedented prosperity for us as Christians. Throughout history, Christians have always been persecuted. And we live in the epoch, a period of time where unprecedented prosperity, and and in many ways, that prosperity was used to draw people to Christ as the bait, that if you come to Jesus, he's gonna bless your marriage. He's gonna give you your house. He's gonna give you a good career. Your kids are never gonna sin. You know? All these wonderful things. You know? And and then one day, it comes crashing down and burns, and you can't you can't compartment. You never saw it. You don't you don't know why. So what do you do? You you fall back on what you do know that God's faithful, that he's loving, he's kind. Picture these people in Lamentations there. Jeremiah watching the people suffer, for many of them, it's like a shock to their system. It's just shocking because all their false prophets tell them, oh, don't worry about that. That's never gonna happen. It's never gonna happen. And they have a false sense of security. And when it does happen, they don't have the ability to cope. So Jeremiah is there to help them, remind them that God's faithful. And he chooses to be there with them in that sorrow, in that difficulty, to help them understand that God means what he says. And there's a whole lot of additional promises that are positive promises. You know, Jeremiah 31 was the new covenant. He could remind them of that new covenant of what God is going to do when he saves that remnant. Right? Mhmm. And so that's our objective is to remind people of the eternal covenant that everything's gonna be made right when we get to heaven. In this life, it may not all turn out right. Who was reminding Jeremiah that I know. He's gotta be thinking. He's gotta be I don't know what he's thinking. He's trying to think that eventually, it's gonna turn around. Yeah. Look at Jesus' ministry. It's only three and a half years. Exactly. Anybody could do that. No. No. I'm sorry about that. I know. Well, it's even worse when you say you spend a couple hours on the cross. Yeah. Have to say nine. Six hours. Yes. Six hours. Yeah. You know? Like Yeah. Just get get get me over with that. I'll do but, you know, we have no clue. That was pain beyond grief. And Yeah. But you still think it. I mean So let's look at what Paul says. He says, this light affliction, which is but for what? Moment. A moment. So our lifetime may think, like, forty years in the hole, man. Forty years. You know? Paul says, it's light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working a far more eternal weight of glory while we look not at the things which are seeing, the material realm, but the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen is temporal, the things which are not seen are eternal. So Paul's willing to suffer a short period here because of eternity. Now Moses, Moses esteemed in Hebrews 11, the reproach of Christ leaving Egypt and all the splendor of Egypt. He resteemed the reproach of Christ suffering with the children of Israel as greater riches than all the splendor of Egypt. Why? Because his value system was such, he had respect unto the recompense of the reward. Risk and reward. Ebed Melek took the risk and now he's rewarded. And those that walk by faith are eventually gonna be rewarded. So we're storing up our treasures in heaven Yeah. Amen. Where moth and rust can't corrupt, where thieves can't break through and steal. So it's based on faithfulness. Each of us has to just be faithful to what God's called us to do, and Jeremiah was faithful, and he's vindicated, and so to Ebed Melek, the servant of of the king. And so whether you're the great Jeremiah the prophet, you know, or Ebed Melek, you know, the Lord's gonna reward you no matter where where you are. Can you just give us a little more rewards this side of heaven, though? Just get that bowl just A little easier. Get it out of you. You know? I know they're there, but, you know And that's You want to spike the football. Right? Can't we spike the football? I know. No. I do. I keep I keep thinking, alright. Kathy and I'll say this. You know? I want the second part of Job. Yeah. When do we get the second part? You know? You got twice as much. Right? And you're just come on. Let's get the second part. Let's get you over there. You know? And but we're running out of time. And so you just gotta trust the Lord. Let go. So a lot of your dreams, a lot of what you wanted, you gotta lay them at the cross and recognize God knows. God knows. And so that's why I believe a lot of mothers with small children, they got a lot of dreams, and a lot of them can't endure prophecy. They can't endure the thought of America collapsing and all that's coming. So I would encourage young moms to read Fox's Book of Martyrs and to see what it was like for mothers under intense persecution, what happened to their children, whole families being thrown into the Colosseum. But God's always gonna give you the grace, the strength, the power, as Paul demonstrated, when I'm weak, then I'm strong. And so, like, Corrie Ten Boom's, the story of the hiding place, you guys will have to help me with the story, but, basically, it was when do we when do we, you know, get the ticket or whatever? And so, basically, her dad was telling her in the time that you need it, God will give you the strength, but not before. So we're anticipating evils. And at this point, looking at us like, I I can't do that. I'm not strong enough. But in that crucible, the lord, his grace will be sufficient because when we're weak, then we're strong. And he'll pour his holy spirit upon you and give you the the faith and the grace and the power to glorify him no matter what he's called us to do. So alright. Well, let's pray. Father, thank you so much. Help prepare us and help us for maybe a tiny bit of what we just read here is gonna happen to us. Maybe we're gonna see America collapse. We don't know. We're praying for you to rescue America, to rescue families and the children, and to fight against the evil, fight against the evil the evil one that's inspiring these demons. And, Lord, we do pray for a reprieve like Nineveh had. None of us wanna go through a time of judgment, Lord, a time of collapse, a time of communism, of war, pestilence, famine, and all that. Even though it's not the tribulation period, we know that America, like China of old or Russia or other nations that have collapsed, Lord, we too could collapse. We could even be dropped down 50 or 60 or 70%, and it would be a collapse to us, Lord. It'd be something we could never fathom. And so, Lord, we just pray that you would bear strength. As we trust in you, we would our faith muscle would grow, our ability to let go of this world and to trust in you, rely upon you, and enjoy you, Lord. Enjoy you instead of our phones and entertainment and all these other things we look to, that we always have you there, Lord, to be in fellowship with you and to spend time with you. Thank you for the time you've given us, Lord, the time that we have to worship, to study, to serve. And that's why we're occupying until you come, Lord. We we there's a lot more people to save, Lord. We want the rapture, but Lord, we also know that if the rapture doesn't come, then there's greater opportunity to reach people. So Lord, we pray that we'd be about our father's business, that you'd be well pleased. So anoint and bless, we pray. In Jesus' name, amen. Amen. Amen.
