Jeremiah chapter 30. Father, thank you for your holy word, and we're just so blessed that we own Bibles and that this Bible is in our native tongue for most of us. And, that you're our teacher and that by the power of your spirit, Lord, you reveal yourself unto us, and we're just so thankful for this, Lord. And we pray tonight that we'd be refreshed, strengthened, encouraged, and, Lord, that we would have a understanding, a greater understanding of the times in which we're living, Lord, and that we'd be aware, redeeming the time knowing that our redemption is drawing nigh. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen. So Jeremiah chapter thirty, thirty one, 32, 33, these four, he's gonna be writing a book, putting this one together. This is gonna be right at the end of the cap the just before the destruction of Jerusalem. And about May according to chapter 32, the word that came to Jeremiah from the Lord in the tenth year of Zedekiah, king of Judah, which was the eighteenth year of Nebuchadnezzar. So about May around April onto October, and then about a year and a half later, eighty six BC is when Jerusalem was finally destroyed. And so the word that came to Jeremiah from the Lord saying, thus speaks the Lord God of Israel saying, write all the words that I have spoken unto thee in a book. Aren't you thankful for the book? Aren't you thankful that we have, you know, bible? When I was when I was reading about the Christians that are in Egypt, and I posted it on our Calvary Chapel Bremerton Facebook page, an article there. Very fascinating the way that there's many different dialects there. Farsi is the number one dominant language, but the people are translating the Bible into their native tongues so that their moms and dads and family members would have the word of God in their you know, the language closest to them, greater understanding, I guess. And and just so exciting to see that in Egypt, it's the fastest growing church, that there's a ministry that a guy has online called transformation. And so the word is word of excuse me. The word of God is able to transform us with the renewing of our minds in Revelation 12 verse two. Be not conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. So that's what's taking place there. The word of God is transforming the people there from, you know, the old ideology that they've grown up having once embraced out of Islam. And and so it's just very exciting to see the holy spirit moving and working in these countries like that, and in China and Africa and all over the world. Even there in Palestine, Gaza area, the Palestinian Christians as they call themselves, two hundred two hundred of them I read in the article have recently had dreams, and and the dreams leading them to Christ. Again, that's posted on our Calvary Chalpermoon Facebook page. Very exciting. Very, very exciting in these last days as the Holy Spirit is is continuing to build the church. And so write it in a book, for, lo, the days come, saith the lord, that I will bring again the captivity of my people Israel and Judah, saith the lord, and I'll cause them to return to the land that I gave to their fathers, and they shall possess it. And so, speaking of Israel, July, the 10 northern tribes were, wiped out by the Assyrians. So he says, I'll bring again the captivity of my people Israel, and then he says end of Judah. Jeremiah is addressing Judah here, the the nation that's there in Jerusalem, say the lord, and I will cause them to return to the land that I gave to their fathers, and they shall possess it. So Nehemiah and Ezra in May returned. So that's a partial fulfillment, but it's telescoping, unto the time when, the second coming of Christ, but also Ezekiel thirty six and thirty seven, that of Israel regathered in unbelief, the nation reborn in 05/14/1948. And so that's, you know, part of the prophecy, part of it. But in Isaac shall thy seed be called, so the true Israel of God are those who believe, and those are the ones that are really going to enjoy the rule and reign of Jesus. Because if you don't believe, then it doesn't matter if you're a Jew or a Gentile if you don't believe in the Messiah. Right? So you gotta believe. And so God's gonna bring when we're in chapter 31, we're gonna see that the Lord is going to cause a new covenant. He's gonna write his law within the hearts of those that believe, and he's going to save Israel. He's going to save that one third remnant that we see in Zechariah thirteen eight and nine. But they're gonna have to go through some really hard times. And what's that hard time called? Tribulation. The tribulation period. In our text here, verse seven is the time of Jacob's trouble. Right? So it's it's fascinating to me that, you know, that there there are people that are the predator's view or a replacement theology view that Israel isn't ever going to get back in the land. They're they're not gonna be restored. They're not gonna be brought to a saving faith that when they rejected Jesus, that was it. And that somehow the church, you know, has all these promises. And I've noticed that a lot of these people that hold to those view, they're not students of the entire Bible. They're not students of the old testament. I mean, how can you read the old testament be here in Jeremiah 30 and negate the fact that God is promising that I'm gonna gather you back in in chapter 31, I'm actually gonna cause you to be born again? You know what? How do you impose that upon the church when it's specifically referring to the nation of Israel? You know? How do you do that? And and it's just it just doesn't fit. And so we're living in a time where there's so many prognosticators, so many people misinterpreting the Bible, and our our approach to it's just very, very simple. We let the Bible teach us, let the Bible tell us what's gonna happen, and we don't need to, you know, come up with all kinds of new ideas and such. And so so the days come, saith the Lord, that I will bring again, God's gonna bring again, so they're gonna be scattered all over the place. Five eighty six BC when Jerusalem's destroyed, there's gonna be the Jews spreading out, and then later, a partial partial amount of them are gonna come back after seventy years, and they're gonna start to rebuild the temple with Nehemiah and Ezra, and then continue in the time of Zerubbabel. And then there's gonna be a gap there about a four hundred year gap between the old and the new testament from Malachi to the new testament. And in that in that period of time, we saw when we were studying in Daniel, Tiochus Epiphanes and the Maccabean revolt and all that that took place and the desecration of the temple in the in that four hundred year period there. And and the the Maccabean family, Joseph Maccabees and all, and they're they're coming against the Syrians that were trying to usurp and take hold, and they offered a pig and all that in the temple. Well, then around about the time that the Romans dominate the nation of Israel. Much much of the folks are in in the land now, and and they've been growing, but they're also subjugated under the Romans, and so they had an Idumian king named Herod the Great. Herod the Great continued in what's known as the second temple period. You got Solomon's temple, then you got rebuilding of the temple with the walls with Nehemiah and and Ezra, and then Zerubbabel, and then that continued to the time of Herod the Great. So when you go to Israel, they'll they'll say these ruins and the the temple here pertains to the second temple period. So Herod the Great was building in over fifty years rebuilding the temple, And then Jesus, everybody's real enamored by all the stones, you know, on that temple. And Jesus said that not one stone remain upon another because in seventy AD, Jesus wept over the city and said, how often I would have gathered you as mother hen does gather brood under wings, but you would not. So your city's left here desolate. So within forty years, general Titus, Roman general, surrounds the city of Jerusalem like we see Nebuchadnezzar putting a siege upon the city of Jerusalem here and destroys Jerusalem, and millions of Jews scatter the diaspora all over the globe, all over the world. And it was like that up until 05/14/1948 where the Jews many of the Jews came back to the area of the the Romans described as Palestine, and and that was a slam against the Jews. They got tired of calling it Israel. And so with their abstinence and their their fighting against Rome, Rome wanted to bring a derogatory term concerning pertaining to the the region, and so they called it Palestine, and it's a derivation of of Latin and such. And so so you have people that say they're Palestinians when in actuality, they're they're probably Arabs. No indigenous people are Palestinian, but the geographical real estate there is known as, you know, Palestine. And and so that's what's happened presently. But after World War two, 05/14/1948, the Belflare declaration, Israel had a chance to go up against, you know, overwhelming odds against Arabs, they won. And then they had to secure it in their sixty seven war and their seventy three war, and they've continued to have to, be adept and aware militarily because, the whole world wants to push them into the Mediterranean and keep them from possessing that which god has bequeathed to him. But they've they're regathered predominantly according to Romans eight twenty five, 26. They're regathered in unbelief, and so blindness and part is happening to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles come in. Come into what? Come into the church age, come into faith during the church age, and then the Lord is going to take the nation of Israel. So the rapture of the church is gonna take place with verse 25. And then the next verse, verse 26, it says, and so all Israel shall be saved. So all Israel, the true Israel of God, not in Ishmael, but in Isaac shall they seed be called. So, and all Israel shall be saved as it is written, there shall come out of Zion the deliverer and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob. And so for this is the covenant, unto them I shall take away their sins. And concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes, but as touching the election, are beloved of the father's sake. For the gifts and the calling of God are without repentance. So there is no replacement theology. God's promise to Israel are yay and amen. He's going to fulfill it. But the the distinction is that not all that claim to be Jews or claim to be Israel are Israel. In Isaac shall they see because so it's the seed of faith. Those who believe in Jesus Christ during the tribulation period, the time of Jacob's trouble, a time that Jesus said the world has never seen or never see again, they're going to go through a disciplinary period of time. The present day Jews that are in the land are going to go through a disciplinary period of time where God is going to break them because Jesus said, you're not gonna see me again till you say blessed is he that comes in the name of the Lord. So so that's what's what's being laid out here. Verse four. And these are the words that the Lord spoke concerning Israel and concerning Judah. For thus saith the Lord, we have heard a voice of trembling, of fear, and not of peace. And so the Antichrist is gonna come along peace, peace. Right? Peace, peace where there is no peace. And he's gonna sign a peace treaty according to Daniel nine twenty five through 27. Right? And he's going to cut it off at the midpoint. And Jesus said, like Daniel pointed out, nine twenty seven, that he's gonna go into the temple that's gonna be rebuilt, the Antichrist temple, and he's gonna declare himself to be God, demand to be worshiped as God. And twelve hundred sixty days after that, Jesus is gonna return. So some some argue that the great tribulation, we'll see the word great used here, is the second half. And the the seven year period of time, the covenant, the seventieth seven of Daniel. 69 sevens are have 69 sevens already been fulfilled in the first coming of Jesus. There remains a seventieth seven year period of time, which is the seven year tribulation period. And so some hold that the first half is not the great tribulation, and some would even go so far as to say it's gonna be peaceful and and prosperous. I strongly disagree with that because the tribulation period extends from Revelation chapter six on to 19, and the seal and the trumpet judgments are not pretty. It's as as as one guy said, it's not a picnic. And and so it's it's gonna be brutal watching, you know, one fourth of the population die, and then another one third of the population die. You got 8,000,000,000 people. You're you're gonna lose lose 4,000,000,000 people in a heartbeat. And, with famine, pestilence, war, and, all other sorts of things that man hasn't seen before. And and that second part with the bold judgments that are gonna be poured out is gonna climax at Armageddon when Jesus returns and Jesus said, except the, you know, except he were to return there, no flesh would remain. And so except those days days be shortened in that he intervenes, no flesh would be saved. But for the elect's sake, for Israel's sake, Jesus intervenes because the armies of the world, the Antichrist begin to chase after that remnant that's gonna flee to Southern Jordan, present day Petra, and we know the story. And so a time of trembling for thus thus saith the lord, we have heard a voice of trembling, of fear, and not of peace. And so, Luke twenty one twenty five says there's gonna be distress of nations, a time of, great distress and, upon all nations, and there isn't going to be, any peace. And so men's hearts failing them for fear is what we're told. The anxiety that's taking place. I posted an article last week that was concerning post vaccine syndrome. And they used the word syndrome so that they could get some traction before the fact checkers would get rid of them. They're not as adept at canceling out the word syndrome. But one of the key features of a post vaccine syndrome, besides brain fog and neuropathy and heart problems and clotting and all, one of them is a predominance of anxiety. So imagine how many people are going be on Xanax. And I'm told Xanax is like incredibly powerful and very and then if Xanax doesn't work, they've got a lot of other ones to try and calm people down because men's heart failing them for fear. Right? So COVID was just a a warm up of what's coming. And I watched people just be, reach a place of becoming irrational. They couldn't think. They couldn't think it through, and they began to say stuff like, well, I've gotta take it because I gotta keep my mortgage. I gotta pay my bills. And then I would say, but you're gonna be dead in three years. How how good is that? You know? And oh, no. No. No. So everybody acts like it's not now. The military is having a very difficult time getting the guys that left the military because they refused to take the jab, get them to sign back up. And and I believe a huge part of the anxiety in the church is so many people took the jab. A part of the post vaccine syndrome is anxiety, intellectually, mentally. They're realizing, oh my gosh. I compromised my my health. I'm young, but I'm starting to develop all these health issues associated with, you know, having taken the vaxx. And that's that's just the that's just the preliminary area of of pressure, tribulation against people. Factor in all the farmland being bought up by the Chinese and Bill Gates and such, the price of inflation and food, you know, going up, the availability of clean, healthy food, availability thereof in the future here short term. And today I posted another one that came along that we've been talking about the DEGL report for many years. And, the Diegl reports reporting that the globalists are right on schedule, that the population of America would go from 330,000,000 people down to 90,000,000 by 2025. They are right on schedule with Western nations, great population reduction. So imagine when you when you get out of your fantasy world and you finally have to face reality that's really happening, imagine how overwhelmed you're gonna be if you don't have Jesus to trust in. Amen. Who are you gonna trust in? How are you gonna cope? How are you gonna deal with it? So part of our objective as Christians at Calvary Bremerton is to build you up in the faith. Faith comes by hearing, hearing by the word of God. If you're strong in the faith, no matter what comes, the Lord's gonna have you ready for what no matter what comes, he's gonna have you ready if you, you know, if you keep your eyes on him. So Isaiah twenty six three says he'll keep him in perfect peace. Who? Who who will he keep in perfect peace? His eyes are stayed on him. Mine is stayed on on him. Mine is stayed on him. Because he trusts in him. Right? Right? That was the last part, but you're right. Keep you in perfect peace whose mind has stayed on him. So your mind and your mind's the battle. It's the mind is the battlefield. Right? The ideas. So in order to stay in that perfect peace, you stay your mind on him. He's sovereign. He's in control. Take your promises that he's promised you. Bank on him. You know? And the reason is because you trust in him. Right? So keep trusting in him, and you're gonna be able to get through it and not be overwhelmed with the anxiety that's coming upon the planet. Men's hearts failing them. It says here in our text that grown men who are not transvestites, trannies, or whatever, but they're so filled with pain, it's like a man is travailing trying to have a baby. That, you know, you look at a woman, the birth pangs that are coming upon the planet. When you see these things begin to come to pass, Jesus said, look up. So when you see the world reeling and trembling and coming to that place of birth pangs, Jesus is telling you and I as Christians, look up for your redemption draws nigh. You're to pray always that you'd be counted worthy to escape these things, the tribulation period, and to stand before the son of man. And so a time where the world is gonna be shaken to the point, some say remember we studied the verse in Isaiah where the earth is gonna shake and tremble so bad that it'll fall off its axis, you know, spinning, but fall off its axis and wobble, have a huge wobble. That wobble will cause enormous amounts of cataclysmic events with earthquakes, volcanic activities increasing in Iceland and all over the Cascadia presently. And, the world is the world is trembling right now. The world is trembling. Right? Can you see it? Can you see it coming? Alright. So so ask now and see whether a man does travail with a child with child. And so these guys that are trying to have babies, no. God's saying, that's not the way I made you. I didn't make you so that men have a uterus and and ability to have a child. Right? Now these guys go and have operations, I guess. And I've seen some guys with some big bellies, but I think it was beer belly. I'm not sure. But right? Robbie says Vicky says beer belly. Yeah. Beer belly. And but they try to act like they're pregnant. Right? And so I didn't feel a thing when Kathy had our kids. You know? So why do I see every man with his hand hands on his loins? You know? It's it's like that guy that got sick at the gym the other day, and I I I better be careful not make light too light because I gotta be really serious. I got a serious position, you know, that I am. But I prayed over him. I I did. I prayed, and it got my attention. And I saw his face his face was really gray. And and if he died, I'm sorry for the family. Well, I'll just shut up right now because I gotta live up to my position. Alright? So can't say it. I'm a sick man. But, anyway, I hope he's okay. It's not easy being me, I tell you. Amen. So so ask now and see whether a man does travail with child. Why do I see every man with his hands on his loins like a woman in travail and all faces are turned into paleness? So Ravi would say, these men lack testosterone. These are soy boys. What happened at crunch time? What happened when the women needed some leadership and some men to be men and to deal with the wolf at the door? Why are they acting like pregnant women? You know, like somehow, you know, they're in pain and a sense of hopelessness. And so that's what the Lord is saying, going to bring them. So these big strong men are brought low, and humbled to the point of looking like a woman that's in labor. He says, verse seven, alas, for that day is great. That day. The day of the Lord always refers to the tribulation period. For that day is great so that none is like it. So it's a great day, the great tribulation. Right? None is like it. It is even the time of Jacob's trouble. The time of Jacob's trouble, the seventieth seven of Daniel. But he shall be saved out of it. So it's gonna be a time that Jesus said the world has never seen, nor will ever see again, a cataclysmic time. And let's look at some verses that talk about this period of time. We have to make distinctions. We have to understand. So I'm gonna use a word that people label us with, but we describe ourselves as premillennial dispensationalists. Okay? So it means that we're not in the millennium yet. Some people think we're in the millennium. Some people are pushing to get Trump reelected, the new apostolic reformation people, the kingdom now people. They think that they're gonna take over. And I read today Mike Adams is saying that Trump's gonna be reelected and that, he's gonna bring in tyranny. He's gonna bring things are gonna get so chaotic that the pendulum's gonna swing from the Democrats over to the Republicans. And the greatest way to deceive us is putting a Republican in, your champion, and then he's going to bring in the martial law and the camps and the whole thing to bring about order because of we being overrun by the people from the border that the Biden administration has been letting in. So when the dollar crashes, people are gonna go insane, and, and then everyone's gonna be able to blame. But the other thing is they're gonna trust they're gonna trust Trump Mhmm. Like he's gonna usher in, you know, making America great. Apparently, they're heralding the guy in Argentina presently, make Argentina great. And he's a, you know, a reformer, conservative and all. So I don't know what's gonna happen politically, but I do know that none of it's gonna be able to save us. Only Jesus is gonna be able to save us. So let's look at some verses. A day of distress upon all nations and a day of wrath. Who wants Amos nine fourteen and fifteen? Amos. Amos nine fourteen and fifteen. Okay. How about Revelation six seventeen through 19? I'll do it. Alright. Revelation seven fourteen. I'll take that one. Okay. Matthew twenty four fifteen. I'll do it. 15 through 19. Twenty four fifteen through 19? Yeah. And then second Thessalonians two verse four, I'm gonna give to Thomas since he gave us the four t's earlier. What? What? One of your t's, buddy. One was it? Second Thessalonians. Zephaniah one fourteen. Second Thessalonians what? I don't know. Second Thessalonians two verse four for Thomas, mister Tommy. Okay. Alright. Zephaniah 114. 114Through18. Who wants that? Kathy? Kathy? Anyone? Who wants it? Ready? I'll take it. What is it? Zephaniah one 14 through 18. 1. Okay. 14 through 18. Luke twenty one twenty three through 28. 21, what? 23 through 28. Luke. 21. 21. 23 through 28. 28. Five verses. Revelation sixteen fourteen. Jim. Okay. And Daniel nine twenty seven. I'll do that one. Matthew 24, 21, and 22. I'll do that one. Okay. Revelation nineteen eleven through 21. I'll do that one. Have I left any verses out? I don't know. Any of the bible? K. We're starting with Amos. Andy and Amos. Famous Amos cookies. Amos nine, fourteen, and 15. Nine, fourteen, and 15. How do we get there? This is lot of fun because we're not gonna be in the tribulation period. Fifteen. Nine, fourteen, and fifteen. I mean, it's fourteen. Where is that at? Guy told me Sunday he had a NIV. He's new at our church. And I said, well, that's the nearly inspired version. That's alright. Oh. 13. I can't seem to find 14. Let the I will bring my exiled people of Israel back from distant lands, and they will rebuild their ruined cities and live in them again. They will plant vineyards and gardens. They will eat their crops and drink their wine. I will firmly plant them there in the land that I had given them, says the Lord our God. Then they will never be uprooted again. So telescoping prophecies, sometimes partial fulfillment. My dad called me out the other day because when we're on be not deceived, we were talking about prophecy, and I had said that when Pentecost happened in Acts chapter two, that Peter said this is that which was spoken by, and he starts to quote Joel chapter two. And so I had mentioned that this was Peter was alluding to that this was a fulfillment of what was happening in Joel. And my dad said, no. It's not a complete fulfill I didn't mean a complete fulfillment, mean, but apparently, I said this is a fulfillment thereof. But Peter's words were, this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel. So I wanna make it real clear here for anybody that's straining out of that. Alright? When I say this is a fulfillment, I'm talking a telescoping, a partial fulfillment that extends further further fulfillment, you know, into the tribulation period and the second coming of Christ. Alright? So, anyway So, anyway. So there you go. So telescoping. So if we're gonna look at this verse, he's gonna restore them, and they're gonna have their vineyard and all and and wine and all that. They're in the land right now. Right? So seventy years after May, they're gonna be released and get to go back in the land with Cyrus letting them go. Right? So they get there. They begin to rebuild. They get their vines and and, you know, redo the it all there. Then in the time when Titus wipes them all out, they spread out again. And then 05/14/1948, they they get to come back in again. And then as they're in, they're they're making it blossom and bud and and flowers and and great productivity in that way, but they're not in the millennium yet. They're not in Isaiah chapter 11 where the curse is reversed and they really enter into the full extent of these prophecies. Right? So it's a telescoping prophecy that that we're watching that Amos is pointing out. Okay? It's not a specific one time period, you know, unless it states that. Okay? So Ezekiel thirty six and thirty seven, I believe happened in 05/14/1948. Israel reborn as in a day. You know? Deuteronomy 33 through five, the Lord promised way back in Deuteronomy that he'd restore them. They come back to that place once again. Alright. So Amos. We got Amos down. Are we doing Luke twenty one twenty five or Luke twenty three twenty nine through 32? What are we doing? Luke 21. Six six. Revelation six seven. That's a good one. Wrath. Yeah. You said 17 through 19. Alright. 17. But six only goes 16 or only goes 17. Revelation six seventeen. Six seventeen. I thought I had that one. No? You got it. Okay. Oh. Revelation seven fourteen. I thought you had the next one. That's the one. Okay. Okay. So Revelation six seventeen. For the great day of his wrath is come, and who shall be able to stand? So when God's pouring out his wrath, it's the time of Jacob's trouble. The great day of his wrath had been prophesied way back here in Jeremiah, the time of Jacob's trouble. It's happening. And we could say if we were there, this is that which was spoken by Jeremiah the prophet. Right? Yeah. It's can connect the dot and say, hey. This is I don't wanna use that word fulfillment, but a partial fulfillment because I'm never gonna do that again. You know? And so there you go. Alright. I love my dad. So Revelation seven fourteen. Is that me? Okay. Alright. And I said unto him, sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, these are they which came out of great tribulation and have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the lamb. Now distinctions. Who's he referring to? They came out of the great tribulation. Right? Read it again. These are they. These are they which came out of great tribulation. Great tribulation. And washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the lamb. Okay. So who who are you referring to there? Tribulation saints. Tribulation saints. So how many different types of saints do we have? We we have to make distinctions. Right? We have Old Testament saints. Right? Yep. We have Rapture New Testament saints. Saints. Yeah. We have tribulation Tribulation saints. And we have fourth one. Saints. Millennial saints. Millennial saints. The millennials. Yeah. Okay. There you go. Alright. Yeah. So make distinctions. Very good. Are we learning anything? Yep. Yes. Alright. Who's next? Matthew 24, 21, and 22? That's me. Okay. Oh, you forgot. There was a previous one. Okay. Go ahead. Well, I don't remember what it is. It doesn't matter which order. 15. 15. 15? Matthew twenty five fifteen. Twenty four fifteen. Twenty four fifteen. Through what? Through 19. Thank you. Therefore, when you see the abomination of desolation which was spoken of through Daniel the prophet standing in the holy place, let the reader understand, then those who are in Judea must flee to the mountains. Whoever is on the housetop must not go down to get the things out that are in the house. Whoever is in the field must not turn back to get his cloak. Alright. So it's it's time to run. It's time to flee. It's time to get out of there and try and evade what's coming against Jerusalem. And then it was '21 and '22. Oh, go ahead. Those were two separate ones you meant. Okay. For then there will be a great tribulation such as has not occurred since the beginning of the world until now nor ever will. Unless those days had been cut short, no life would have been saved but for the sake of the elect. Those days will be cut short. Praise the lord. Amen. So Matthew twenty four twenty one and twenty two? Right. That's what I just read. Great. How about someone read Daniel nine twenty seven? It'll tie in there. I have it. Or Do She have it? Oh, okay. I don't have it, but if you got it, go ahead. I have it. Okay. Good. And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week, and in the midst of the week, he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease. And for the overspreading of abominations, he shall make it desolate even unto the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate. And so there's there's Daniel prophesying five hundred years before Jesus comes on the scene. Jesus in Matthew 24 prophesying when you see the abomination of desolation spoken of by Daniel the prophet stand in the holy place. Right? Mhmm. So we see those connecting there. And then Thomas, second Thessalonians two four. It says Tommy. Whoso opposes and exalt himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped so that he, as God, sitteth in the temple of God showing himself that he is God. Who are we talking about there? Antichrist. Antichrist. Antichrist. Antichrist. What are some other names for him? Deceiver. The lawless one. Deceiver. What else? The dragon. The lawlessness. Lawless one. Right? The beast. Right? He's the beast. Oh, yeah. The beast. And then he's got the false prophet. So the unholy Mhmm. Corrupt counterfeit trinity. Right? So Satan is the dragon. Satan is the counterfeit god the father. God. Yeah. That the whole world is gonna be compelled to worship. Mhmm. Right? And Father of lies. Father of lies. Yeah. Murder from the beginning. A lot of different names for Lucifer. And then the AC, the antichrist. And now antichrist means in place of Jesus Christ. So deceiver antichrist counterfeit. John tells us in first John that the spirit of antichrist is already in the world. This and so we would say rebellion against the true living God is what's taking place. It's already happening. Jesus said upon this rock, I'll build my church and the gates of hell not prevail. So greater is he that's in us than he that's in the world, but nevertheless, we're in a battle. We're in a fight. Put our whole armor on. Keep moving forth with the truth. Turn the light on. Expose it, and and we will be successful in the sense of being a witness for Jesus. That's that's success, being a witness for Jesus, not being passive toward evil. And so the tribulation saints back to them, Revelation seven fourteen. In Revelation 20 verse four, it says that they lost their lives because they refused the mark of the beast, and they were beheaded. And there's an innumerable multitude of these tribulation saints, and these are Gentiles in chapter six and seven beneath the throne of God crying out how long, oh lord, before the Lord's going to bring vengeance, you know, upon them. And and so these tribulation saints refuse to worship Lucifer, refuse to take the mark of the right hand of their forehead, and their life is narrowed down to they overcome the lamb in Revelation 12. How do they overcome in three ways? By the word of their testimony. By the blood of the lamb. By the blood of the lamb, word of their testimony. And they yeah. So if you're in love with your life, you're gonna lose your life. Right? Mhmm. If you lose your life, you're gonna find your life. Right? Right. So the key is already being dead. So I watched Band of Brothers again. Lieutenant Spears is trying to encourage a private who's overwhelmed with fear and cowardice, and he let them know that you need to already be dead. Right? Mhmm. You're already dead. If you're a soldier, you're already dead. And Blythe, who was the guy, he wound up overcoming this fear, which was really cool. But so God hasn't given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind. Perfect love cast out all fear. Fear not 81 times. Fear not. Right? Fear is the opposite of faith. He'll keep in perfect peace whose mind is what? Stayed on. Because what? He trusts. That's it. As soon as we quit trusting the Lord Mhmm. Anxiety, weirdness in our head, and we start doing what if? What if? What if? I don't know what if. Mhmm. I don't know. I just know I'm supposed to trust the Lord. Right? Amen. If I knew the what if. Alright. So alright. Who else? Zephaniah one. Zephaniah one fourteen through 18. K. The great day of the Lord is near. It is near, and hasten greatly even the voice of the day of the Lord. The mighty man shall cry there bitterly. That day is a day of wrath, a day of trouble and distress, a day of wasteness and desolation, a day of darkness and gloominess, a day of clouds and thick darkness, a day of the trumpet and alarm against the fenced cities and against the high towers. And I will bring distress upon men, that they shall walk like blind men, because they have sinned against the Lord. And their blood shall be poured out as dust, and their flesh as the dung. Neither their silver nor their gold shall be able to deliver them in the day of the Lord's wrath, but the whole land shall be devoured by the fire of his jealousy for he shall make even a speedy riddance of all of them that dwell in the land. Man, I don't wanna be here during the tribulation period. No. And I admit, I'm a coward. I admit it. Alright? Amen. I don't wanna be here. I wanna be raptured. Alright? Amen. But if the Lord causes us to go through some cataclysmic, very difficult times and such, we know that we need to deny ourselves daily, take our cross up, and follow Jesus. And so he'll give us the faith. He'll give us the measure of faith, the courage, you know, to continue and to not falter in that time of crisis. I know that the father of our faith, Abraham, faltered. I know that all the guys I read about in Hebrews 11 faltered in their humanity. There were times where they they saw the chink in their armor, but I know that God is faithful and that he will pick us back up and and give us that faith and courage, you know, to to continue. So we can be like Polycarp, and we can go eighty six years with the Lord. He never abandons us once or rejects us once or fails us once. So why would we pinch a little incense and say Caesar is Lord at that point in time? We're we're willing to die. Right? So God's faithfulness. Obadiah one twelve through 15? Obadiah? Never had Obadiah? No. Well, you can look that up while I give somebody else Revelation sixteen fourteen. Is that mine? Obadiah. Yep. Sixteen fourteen. Okay. For they are the spirits of devils working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world to gather them to battle of the great day of the lord the the great day of god almighty. Excuse me. Praise the Lord. Obadiah what? Obadiah one twelve through 15. Okay. But thou shouldest not have looked on the day of thy brother in the day that he became a stranger. Neither shouldest thou have rejoiced over the children of Judah in the day of their destruction. Neither shouldest thou have spoken proudly in the day of distress. Thou shouldest not have entered into the gate of my people in the day of their calamity. Ye, thou shouldest not have looked on their affliction in the day of their calamity, nor have laid hands on their substance in the day of their calamity. To what? So that's good. What's happening there is we're gonna as we continue through, we're gonna see where God's gonna judge the nations like in Matthew 25 of how they treated the nation of Israel, you know, during the time of Jacob's trouble. The Obadiah passage has to do with the nations once around Israel that saw when Nebuchadnezzar wiped out the temple and dealt with Israel in that way. The Moabites are rejoicing. These nations are rejoicing. So in Obadiah, God's letting them know, I'm taking you guys down. You know? All you all you Gentile nations that are rejoicing, you know, I'm gonna take you down. And and that's gonna happen during the tribulation period. God's gonna take them all down, every single one of them. Mhmm. And so nobody's gonna escape. Alright. So did we leave anybody out, everybody? Luke 21. 21? Yep. K. So it's Luke 21, what is it? Twenty Twenty one twenty five? Twenty one through 25. Woah. '3 through 28. Yeah. 23 through 28. Alright. But woe unto them that are with child and to them that give suck in those days, for there shall be great distress in the land and the wrath upon this people. And they shall follow by the edge of the sword and shall be led astray captive into all nations, and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles until the time of the Gentiles is fulfilled. And there will be signs in the sun and the moon and the stars and upon the earth, the stress of nations with perplexity, the seas and the waves roaring. Men's hearts failing them for fear and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth for the powers of the heavens shall be taken. And then shall they see the son of man coming in a cloud with power and with great glory. And when they see these things, begin to come to pass, look up and lift your heads for your redemption draweth nigh. Mhmm. Praise the lord. So part of what's gonna happen is the whole world is gonna turn against Israel. And when that happens during the tribulation period, the antichrist with his armies are gonna try and according to Revelation chapter 12, wipe out the woman, which is the nation of Israel. And God says that he's gonna protect Jerusalem in Zechariah chapter 12. He says, the burden of the word of the Lord for Israel, saith the Lord, who stretches forth the heavens, who lays the foundation of the earth and forms the spirit of man within him. Behold, I'll make Jerusalem a cup of trembling upon unto all the people peoples found about when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem. And in that day, will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people, all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the nations of the earth be gathered together against it. In that day, saith the Lord, I will smite every horse with terror and his rider with madness, and I'll open mine eyes upon the house of Judah and will smite every horse of the people with blindness. And the governors of Judah shall say in their heart, the inhabitants of Jerusalem shall be my strength, the Lord of hosts, their God. In that day, I'll make the governors of Judah like a hearth of the among the wood and a torch of fire in the sheath. They shall devour all the peoples roundabout on the right hand and on the left, and Jerusalem shall be inhabited again in their own place, even in Jerusalem. The Lord also shall save the tents of Judah first. And so the nation of Israel is gonna win some of these battles, and then eventually they're gonna be overwhelmed by the Antichrist and his armies, and that's when they're they're gonna flee out of Jerusalem. But the Lord's saying, I'm gonna fight for them even though all the nations are gonna gather together. Jerusalem's gonna be a burdensome stone, and ultimately, it's gonna be the Lord that returns, and the blood's gonna be as high as the horse's bridle as we see at Revelation fourteen, four and a half feet high in the whole area of Megiddo, the Valley Of Armageddon, and we didn't read Revelation nineteen eleven through 21, but you get the idea of how the Lord's gonna intervene, and it's not gonna be good for the enemies of Israel. So God's gonna discipline his own. He's gonna cause a one third remnant to go through the tribulation period according to Zechariah thirteen eight and nine. They're gonna come through the fire and be purified. This one third remnant, purified in the sense next week when we see he's gonna put faith in their heart. They're gonna be believers, then they're gonna cry out, blessed is he that comes in the name of the Lord. Okay? So it's a work of God's spirit. Verse eight, time of Jacob's trouble but shall be saved out of it. So the nation of Israel, that remnant that believes is gonna be saved out of it. For it shall come to pass in that day, saith the Lord of hosts, that I will break his yoke from off the neck, and will burst thy bonds, and strangers shall go no more no more enslave them. So the nation of Israel is going to be delivered from the bondage and the servitude that they've been under from the other nations. When Rav was reading in Luke, there's a description there, a term called the times of the Gentiles. The times of the Gentiles is different than the fullness of the Gentiles. How is it different? The fullness is when when the last believer has Believe. The rapture. And the time of them is what we're in right now. Dispensation. Of Gentile world rule. Right. Right? The four four kingdoms, and the fourth kingdom is a rebirth of the fourth, the antichrist kingdom, rebirth of the Roman Empire. So those four kingdoms, Babylon, Persians, which is Iran. Third one? Greek. Greek, Alexander the Great. Fourth, Roman. Roman. Then the Romans cut off, but then rebirth of the Roman Empire is the Antichrist last days, and it's imperial. It's an imperial form of government in that the 10 toes, the 10 regions are gonna have these kings over it. And so you can be in your land just like Nebbe's doing with the Jews. Alright. You can stay in your land, but you obey me, and you're gonna send taxes. You're gonna send tax money to me, you know, here. So you and and all over Israel, all over the conquered area, the Romans would have these places like Philippi. Philip Of Macedon was built by Alexander the Great for his father, but it was an area of garrison, a place where, like, Roman soldiers would would be. So you'd have these Roman soldiers, these vets that would be spread all over the region and then different different geographical areas of governors and such. But the indigenous people could live there, but that's why they hated, you know, the tax collectors. They'd use Jews to collect taxes for the Romans. So you're subjugated, but you still get to live in your house and grow food and live there and all. And during the tribulation period, as long as you take the mark of the beast and you follow the rules, you get to live in your fifteen minute cities and such like that. But that's gonna be the rebirth of the Roman Empire. So that's the times of the Gentiles. So times of Gentiles gonna end with the return of Christ, and then you're gonna have Jewish world rule, and that's what we're gonna see here in a second here. But they shall serve the Lord their God and David their king, whom I'll raise up under them. Therefore fear fear thou not, oh my servant Jacob, saith the Lord, neither be dismayed, oh Israel, for lo, I will save thee from afar and thy seed from the land of their captivity and Jacob shall return and shall be in rest and be quiet and none shall make him afraid. And so they're gonna be safe and secure. Notice how he said David the king, but David is not gonna be the king. The king is gonna be Jesus, root the offspring of David. And so David, according to Ezekiel 34, 20, 22 through, 24 is gonna be the prince and, the lord Jesus, king of kings and lord of lords as we see in Isaiah nine, six, and seven. And so Jesus is gonna be ruling in Iranian as king of kings and lord of lords from Jerusalem. David is prince, and then that that Israeli government continues in that the 12 apostles are gonna have thrones that they sit on. You and I are gonna rule and reign, the bride of Christ, as kings and priests during that that reign. So the church is gonna have a role. And and so Jewish domination over the entire globe ruling over whatever gentiles are beginning to repopulate the planet. The curse is gonna be reversed. It's gonna be good for everybody, but there's still gonna be sin, and Satan's gonna be bound for a thousand years. At the end of that thousand years, God's gonna release Satan to expose the free will of the Gentiles. All the Jews are saved, but the free will of the Gentiles, the children, all those that come into the millennium are believers, but they start to have children, and the children, many of them at the end there rebel against the Lord as Satan's loose for a season, and God consumes it with fire at the end of the millennium. And the wicked dead are bodily raised from the dead at the great white throne judgment and judged. And then we go into Revelation twenty one and twenty two, the eternal state, a new heaven, a new earth, new Jerusalem coming out of the sky. And and again, he's gonna show his kindness unto us in the ages to come. Like Robbie pointed out, this dispensation is and what's the word dispensation mean? An administration, an epoch of time of governance of how he deals with this period of time. We would say it's an age of grace. It's not the old testament under the law. This is an age of grace. The church age, we would call it age. Ages plural to come, the next age would be the tribulation period. Age after that would be the millennium. The age after the millennium, the eternal state. Right? And so on into eternity. Okay. So so there's a period of time, an epoch of time that God's dealing with us in the church age. So a sense of occupying until he comes means, hey. I can see the signs of the tribulation period coming, the birth pangs and all. I can see the nation of Israel in the land. I can see the world falling apart, but everything's falling into place from the standpoint of of a one world government, a one world monetary system, a one world religious system, and a and a deceiver named the Antichrist that's gonna come along, and sign a peace treaty with Israel who's in the land and has everything ready to rebuild the temple and to offer the sacrifice, including red heifers from Texas. You know? If they are unspotted and unblemished, it might work. And so so you have that. Okay. So David David as a king or as a prince, verse 10, therefore, fear thou not, oh my servant Jacob, saith the Lord, neither be dismayed, oh Israel, for lo I will save thee from afar and thy seed from the land of their captivity and Jacob shall return and shall be in rest and be quiet and none shall make him afraid and so safe and secure. That's what every parent wants. Our kids that are afar, that we want the Lord to bring them out of captivity, to bring them home, and make us all rejoicing and celebrating that everything's been restored, that we're in the land and the curse is reversed, the lion, the wolf, and the lion lying down with the lamb. Right? And a little child leading them. Right? That's the world we want. We don't want all this crime. We don't want all this craziness, this anarchy. Basically, it's lawlessness is is, second Thessalonians two, the lawless one. The iniquity will abound. Iniquity is abounding because the love of many is growing cold, Jesus said. And so Gerald Celentes, I don't know if he's a believer, but he's got a saying. And the saying goes something like this. When people lose everything, they lose it, and that's what's gonna happen. We're civil as long as we have something to lose. We don't wanna lose everything. Right? So we've gotta play by the rules or we might might wind up in jail and lose everything. So it keeps us falling according to the rules. But when we lose everything, we got nothing to lose. And so they're gonna lose it. A lot of people are gonna lose it. They're not led or guided guided by the holy spirit like you and I. So you and I, regardless of what we have or don't have, we follow a higher code of ethics or a higher leading in that we we don't operate according to the law necessarily. We operate according to the love. Love compels us. The love of Christ constrains us. We we don't lie, cheat, and steal or cheat on Potiphar's wife because it would be a sin against God. We wanna we wanna live lives that are pleasing under the Lord. So even if there's no constraint of the law, there could be a whole pile of money over there, and we couldn't enjoy that money if we knew that we were stole it, you know, and nobody even saw us and we stole it. You can't enjoy it if you're a Christian. So so we live by a higher standard than that of the world. So even Judas took came back and threw it down at their feet. Right? Mhmm. The 30 pieces. So safe and secure for I am with thee, saith the Lord. And that's all I need to know is God's with me. Amen. And you know what? Am I with God? Am I with God? He's with me. Mhmm. He's promised he'll never leave me nor forsake me. Right? But am I with him? Mhmm. If you find yourself apart from God, you need to know that he didn't move. You moved. Mhmm. You walked away. Now the way back, what's the way back? For presence. He's a prayer away. Mhmm. One prayer away. No matter where you find yourself, he's just a prayer away. Right, Thomas? A 180. A 180, baby. Alright. Thomas, you want oh, never mind. I thought you might want Vicky to cut your hair. Alright. So though I make a full end of all nations to which I have scattered thee, yet will I not make a full end of thee. So he's gonna make a full end of these nations, but I'm not gonna make a full end of you. I've got plans for you. God's not done with the nation of Israel. Right? How do they how do they come up with that? Like, God's done with them. But I will correct thee. So God said, I'm gonna correct you. It's gonna be painful. It's gonna be really painful, but I'm gonna correct you. I'll correct thee in measure. It will not leave thee altogether unpunished. So if somebody calls me and says, hey. I wanna know if this person's saved or not. You know, they I used to break bread with them and have sweet fellowship. We went to church for years, and our families were together and all. And then all of a sudden, he decided to leave his wife, and, you know, he was committing adultery. He was doing this, that, or the other, and and and he just left her. Is he saved? Is he still saved? Was he ever saved? Jules is shaking her head. No? Who knows? Does anybody know how to tell? By their fruit. Fruit? Jesus said, know them by their fruit. So the fruit might be the fruit of repentance, like Thomas said. If there's no repentance, then what do we say? Not say. Not say? The lord, he's not disciplining him. There it is. Hebrews 12. If they're being disciplined, if they're miserable in that sin, that's an indicator they're being chastened of the Lord like David. David did all those sins I just mentioned. Right? Mhmm. And we can tell that David's saved because the Lord loved him enough to chasten him. Right? So if you read in Psalm 32, Psalm 38, and Psalm 51, you see a miserable king David. Miserable. He can't enjoy, you know, Bathsheba and all the sinning that he did. He's waxing. It's affecting him physically. It's affecting him mentally. It's affecting him. He's out of fellowship with God, and God in his grace and mercy does what? To restore David. A year, a year like that, God sent Nathan, the prophet, and Nathan was used of God, faithful are the wounds of her friend, the kiss of an enemy are deceitful. And Nathan's used of God to bring about Matthew 18 that of confrontation. Confront that person. Go in private, go with a witness, you know, bring them before the leadership of the church. But we whom the Lord loves, he chastens and he scourges every son or daughter. Those that don't receive chastening, they can continue in that sin and, hey, this is great, you know, and all that. We just got married too young, you know, that sort of thing. And and they have no conviction, no sense of remorse. Godly sorrow leads to repentance, not to be repented of. The sorrow of the world is, like Judas, my plans didn't work. I'm gonna go out and hang myself. Godly sorrow is like Peter. You go out and you weep bitterly, but you're restored by the lord. You're humbled and restored by the lord. You're restored back to fellowship, and that's what the lord does. And so if any man be overtaken in a fault, you who are spiritual, restore such a one in the spirit of meekness, lest you also be tempted. So we we go with the truth, we go in love, we go in meekness, and and then we pray and we try to encourage the person. If we confess our sin, he's faithful and just to forgive us of our sin and to cleanse us of all unrighteousness. And so those that persist in sin, in their backsliding, one way to tell that they're a believer is the chastening of the Lord. Now how far will the Lord go in his chastening to restore a son or a daughter? Diane. Different people have different times. You know? So in first Corinthians five, a man that took his father's wife and was having adulterous relationships with her, what was the instruction of the apostle Paul to deal with that sin? Cast him out of the church, and then his flesh was turned over to the devil to punish his flesh. Yeah. The point of giving him over to the devil to punish him. Right? And To spare his soul. To spare his soul to the point of even death. Mhmm. Right? For the destruction of the body, for the saving of the soul. God might take and give a person cancer who's been disobedient. My mom got cancer. She died at 65 of cancer, and it was the cancer that brought her to the place of submission and crying out to God and that seed of her faith that she had it from a little girl that I believe brought her to the place of the fruit being identified that she her faith, like the thief on the cross, is imputed to her for righteousness. Right? Okay. So we the chastening of the Lord, whom the Lord loves, he chastens and unpunished. For thus saith the Lord, verse 12, thy bruise is incurable, thy wound is grievous without him. Without Jesus, man, we're helpless. There's none to plead thy cause. I have Jesus ever living as my great high priest ever lives to make intercession for me. He's pleading my cause. Right? I have the holy spirit interceding on my behalf with groanings which cannot be uttered. Right? Yes. The holy spirit. When I can't even come up with words to pray, to articulate and inform a sentence, have the help of the Holy Spirit interceding for me, knowing my heart, expressing my heart. There's there's none to plead thy cause that thou mayest be bound up. Thou has no healing medicines, only him. Jesus is the only medicine, the healing balm of Gilead, and he's the only one that can make me whole. He's the only one that can save me. Only Jesus. He says, all thy lovers have forgotten thee. Kathy will never forget me. I'm too big a character right there, man. I'm amazed she still loves me. It's a miracle of God. Greatest miracle of my whole life is that girl I ask her all the time, do you still love me? Well, I don't know. I don't know. I I don't don't know. Know. Then after a while, she's she'll see me pining away. Yeah. I love you. So all thy lovers have forgotten thee, not him. He's never forgotten you. Right? He loves you so much, like your grandkids, your kids, he can't even take his eyes off you. Pastor Chuck tells a story about one of his grandkids grandkids of one of his sons, Chuck Junior. Once the child knew that God sees everything, he got a little scared. Like, you mean God sees everything that I do? Everything? Yeah. And it's, like, sobering, like, really? The bad stuff I do? And then his dad was smart enough to say, yes. He loves you so much he can't take his eyes off you. Right? Turns it into a positive, that love. It can be foreboding. Everything's naked and open before the eyes with whom we have to do. People act like because they haven't been judged yet that God doesn't see. You know? Well, he didn't judge me yet. You know? If there is a God, you know, they they shake their fist at God. They think they can exhaust the grace, the mercy, the love of god? You're gonna exhaust it with insults? No. I don't think so. So all your lovers have forgotten thee. They seek thee not, for I have wounded thee with the wound of an enemy, with the chastisement of a cruel one for the multitude of thine iniquity because thy sins were increased. And so just overwhelming sin. The only antidote, the only solution is that God intervenes. Except the Lord build the house, they that labor labor in vain that build it. Only Jesus. He's the only one that can save me. He's the only one that can keep me. He's the only one that can get me to the finish line. So why Christ thou over thine affliction? Question. Thy sorrow is incurable for the multitude of thine iniquity because thy sins were increased. I have done these things unto thee. So God's saying in Zechariah thirteen eight nine, your sin is so great. So you look at the nation of Israel presently in the land. They're not better than anybody else. Do you understand that? They're not more moral than anybody else. That's not the reason why they're the apple of God's eye and why God's gonna fulfill all these promises unto them. As unbelievers, they're just as wicked. One of the guys in the tanks put a gay lesbian flag up at the tank, you know, recently, and they misconstrued what peace is. Peace to him was no longer will we be fighting about this. You know? We'll accept this lifestyle. You know? Tel Aviv is just as decadent as New Orleans or, you know, any of our worst cities. So they're they're regathered in unbelief. The Mosaic law is definitely a greater, you know, greater teaching than the Quran, you know, so we understand that. I mean, God's word is perfect. Heaven and earth will pass away, but his word won't pass away. So the problem is not his word. It's a matter of you know, like America, we say that America was built on a Judeo Christian ethic, the old and the new testament. We derive our value system. So we have a biblical worldview. The nation of Israel, some ways, looks at things in a biblical manner. In other ways, you miss the whole point if you don't know that Jesus is your Messiah, you know? So you're operating in the flesh. And so God is gonna purify what he's what he's showing over over and over and over again, and even in the time of Christ is how hard hearted they are, how stiff necked they are, how abdurent they are. So the sun that softens the wax hardens the clay. They're extremely hard hearted concerning Jesus. They'll get angry concerning Jesus, you know, but God's gonna break that obstinance. He's gonna break that that unwillingness. Not gonna force. It says in Zechariah thirteen eight and nine that he's gonna put them through the fire to refine them. So the impurities are gonna be burned off. So he says, I have done these things unto thee. Because thy sins were increased, I have done these things unto thee. So the Lord's gonna chasten them in their sinfulness with the goal of purifying them. Therefore, all they that devour thee shall be devoured. So we see that Matthew 25, the God's gonna judge the nations in that seventy five day interval into the millennium. Blessed is he that comes at thirteen hundred and thirty fifth days. So twelve sixty days after the midpoint is the return of Christ, and then there's a thirty a seventy five day interval. In that seventy five day interval, he's going to judge in Matthew 25, the sheep from the goats. The sheep from the goats are the believers and the unbelievers, and the criteria he's gonna point out is how they treated the nation of Israel during the tribulation period. And so I was naked and you clothed me. I was hungry. You fed me. I was thirsty. You gave me drink. When did we see thee naked in hospital, in prison, and all that? In as much as you've done it under the least of these, my brethren, you've done it unto me. And so the Lord is going to judge the nations that acted as enemies of the nation of Israel. So what's interesting there is although the Lord can spank his kids, you're never gonna let a neighbor spank your kids. Right? They don't do that anymore. Right? I guess it used to be kind of I don't know. But I got two swats by mister Beasley once, but for fighting the school. But if I'd even let my parents know, I'd have got more spanking, so I never told them. You know? So that's how they rolled. You know? So I I can be the pastor that's like a nurse that holds your hand when you go through a really difficult time. I know I can. And I can pray with you and weep with you and be there with you. But to act like that just to act like that, I'm not that guy. There has to be a reason. If it's looking inward and feeling sorry for ourselves, I'm gonna keep lifting weights. Right? I'm gonna keep moving. I'm gonna keep progressing and moving forward. But I I I just I can't cater or give into the culture we have where everybody's a victim, everybody's got a unique story, and everybody's you gotta drop everything and and hold their hand over and over and over and over and over again, the same story, so to speak. Jesus is the great physician. He's the one that can heal that guy with the seizures. He's the one that sends the experts, the doctors, the paramedics, and all. I'm limited. I will pray. I'll intercede. I'll teach the word. Point people to Jesus. He's the one that is the answer. He's the one that can do it. So I'm I don't have a a callousness or a lack of compassion. I've been in a lot of rooms with people dying. I've been with the families that are dying, a lot of funerals. When it's appropriate, I you know, I can do that, and I will do that. I have done that, and it's it's it's what we need to do. But an illustration of the generation I came out of is if if I came into the house bleeding, having rode my bike and crashed, and I'm bleeding profusely, my mom would look at me and she'd say, get out blankety blank outside. You're dripping blood on my carpet. Yeah. That's the generation I came from. And if you came in the house crying about something that wasn't legit, my mom would laugh at you. She'd laugh. She'd mock, and she'd try to toughen you up. So you didn't do that. You just didn't do that. And then if I went to my grandma and I tried to tell her a sobbing story, she won't she won't tolerate it. Why? Because she's a depression era grandma. They turn everything to the positive. Every time you try to come with some injustice, they turn it to the positive. Mhmm. They don't let you get away with it. They move forward. They keep moving forward in the positive. They're thankful. They're grateful. They don't wanna get mired in this self pity. That might give you a little insight. I don't know how you're raised, but my mom said, get outside. You're dripping blood on my carpet. You know? Kathy would never do that. She'd never she's not like that. Yeah. She'd she'd bandage them up. Alright. So therefore, all that devour thee shall be devoured. God's gonna deal with those people and gonna get after them. If somebody hurt me, if somebody did something to me, my mom was like a grizzly bear, go after them. So she would evaluate each thing. And all thine adversaries, every one of them shall go into captivity, and they that spoil thee shall be spoiled, and all that prey upon thee will I give for a praise. So they're all gonna lose. God's gonna deal with the Babylonians. He's using the Babylonians as an instrument of judgment against his own, but then he's gonna bring Cyrus. He's gonna bring the Persians in to deal with the Babylonians, and then the Persians are gonna be replaced by the Greeks. The Greeks can be replaced by the Romans. So God will deal with the nations that he uses as an instrument of judgment. He comes back on them, And and like with Moab, like in Obadiah we read, if you're laughing at the plight of Israel being chastened, being spanked, god says, I'm gonna deal with you, Moab. I'm gonna deal with you guys. I don't care if you have high walled canyons and sitting up at the top. No? I'm gonna bring I'm gonna bring the enemy against you, you know, and I'm gonna give you for a prey. For I will restore health unto thee. So the word salvation means deliverance and healing. The greatest healing is the spiritual healing. The spiritual healing making us whole, deliverance and healing. I'm delivered from the past penalty of sin. I'm being delivered from the power of sin. Sin shall not have dominion over me. And I'm being delivered in the future tense. I will be delivered from the very presence of sin. But I'm I'm broken, and I'm dead spiritually, and when Christ comes into my heart and life, I'm made whole, I'm made sound, I'm made healthy, I'm body, soul, and spirit, And now I could be a demoniac previously and cutting myself chained and living out with the tombs and be filled with legions of demons, the two demoniacs at Gadara, or the seven demons that were in Mary Magdalene. And when Jesus comes into your heart and light, all those demons have to flee. And the two at Gadara were clean, they were clothed, and they were in their right mind. Ain't that amazing? Amen. Ain't it great the sanity the Lord gives us, the peace that he gives us, the joy that he gives us? What price could you put on that? A rich man that's lost his mind, can't get it back. Can't get it back. The guilt, the shame, the torment, the sleepless nights, anger, no relationship with any of his kids or people around him, you can't you you don't have the love. You don't have the agape love. It's not there and you can't purchase it. For I will restore health under thee. I will heal thee of thy wounds, saith the Lord, because they call thee an outcast saying this is Zion whom no man seeks after. No allies. You're all alone nation of Israel as we saw in Zechariah twelve one through three. You're all alone. All the nations including America have turned their back upon you. Thus saith the Lord, behold, I will bring again the captivity of Jacob's tents and have mercy on his dwelling place, and that the city shall be built upon its own heap, so it's been put into ruins, build upon its heap, and the palace shall remain after its own manner. So partially rebuilt, partially rebuilt with Zerubbabel. King Herod the Great, he made great strides. He's a great architect, a great builder, a great progress that he made, but never reached the place of Solomon's temple, the beauty and the grandeur of Solomon's Temple with all the gold and everything that was there that David had David had stored up. David wanted to build God a house, but God wouldn't let him because his hands were bloody. But he stored up all the wood, all the materials, all the gold, all the everything, and Solomon was able to build build it. But Hezekiah made a grave mistake. He allowed the Babylonian ambassadors to come in and see the treasure within the treasury. And and so later, the different attacks that Nebbe made against the temple, they're taking away the saucers, the cups, the gold, the brass, all the metals, they're there, and then eventually, all of it. And Jesus told his generation not one stone will remain upon another when Titus put a siege and fire broke out. So out of them shall proceed thanksgiving. Hey, that's what's happening now, thanksgiving. And the voice of those who make merry, and I will multiply them, and they shall not be few. I will also glorify them, and they shall not be small. And so there's gonna be a one third remnant that comes through this according to Zarka thirteen:nine. And so in Jeremiah seven thirty four, the lights are out. When we saw in Jeremiah, the lights are out. Now the lights are coming back on. I like driving around and seeing the Christmas lights. I like that we're saying Merry Christmas to people that, you know, are angry or sad or lost hope, and we can remind them of the birth of our savior. I like that today Kathy made a turkey and that Vicky and all of you made turkeys and all these goodies and all these things and that we can celebrate Thanksgiving. Every day is a day of Thanksgiving. But all week long, this week is let's get the party started. These guys are getting the party started. The times of mourning are over. God's gonna restore us. He can bring us back into the land. And so basically kind of a picture eventually where you're gonna celebrate when is the nation of Israel gonna really celebrate in the future? When Jesus comes. At the marriage supper of the lamb. Right? At the marriage supper of the lamb, Israel is the wife of Jehovah. The church is the bride of Christ. The church is made up of both Jew and Gentile, barbarian, Scythian, bond and free, male, female, whosoever will. Right? But unique and different than the nation of Israel. The nation of Israel is not the church and the church is not the nation of Israel. And so John the Baptist is a friend of the bridegroom, and so the nation of Israel is gonna be a friend of the bridegroom of Jesus with his bride, the church, Revelation 19. Right? So we're all gonna be celebrating at the marriage supper of the lamb, at the very start of the millennium, a thousand year rule and reign with Jesus, and somehow the church is gonna get along with the nation of Israel and all the hierarchy, the everything, and there isn't gonna be that angst that that you see today, and there's gonna be huge celebration. We're gonna wear the right right garments. We're not gonna come to the party, you know, not dressed appropriately. Our garments are gonna be clean, white, unspotted, unblemished, which is the righteousness of the saints, and no guilt. And so they're gonna glorify them and they shall not be small. The children also shall be as they were before and the congregation shall be established before me, and I'll punish all that oppress them. So God's gonna defend them, gonna defend us. And their nobles shall be of themselves, and their governor shall proceed from the midst of them. So you're not gonna have foreigners ruling and reigning over you. No alien, no false prophets or politicians. None of it. No more. And and I'll cause them him to draw near and he shall approach unto me for who is this that engaged his heart to approach unto me, saith the Lord. And ye shall be my people, and I'll be your God. So you're gonna be home, his homies. You're gonna finally be home. You're gonna be in the land. You're gonna enter into all the the geographical area that he promised to Abraham in the Abrahamic covenant. So I like how a lot of you have posted in Facebook where you've said Israel isn't occupying the land, they own the land. Now why do they own the land? Because God gave And it to so God says in Genesis twelve two, I'm gonna bless those that bless you, curse those that curse you. So it's good to bless the nation of Israel. It's good to be favorable, be friendly with the nation of Israel. And behold, the whirlwind of the Lord goeth forth with fury and continuing whirlwind and shall fall with pain upon the head of the wicked. The fierce anger of the Lord shall not return until he has done it, until he has performed the intents of his heart in the latter days, ye shall consider it. So judgment of sin before blessing. God's gonna judge sin. God's gonna judge the world. He's gonna judge the nations. He's gonna judge them at how they treated the nation of Israel. And notice it says in the latter days. Mhmm. That phrase, the latter days. What days are we in? The latter days. And how do we know we're in the latter days? His people will be lovers of money. Yeah. There's there's characteristics Yeah. Of So when did the latter days start? Where did you? When Jesus left. Pardon me? When Jesus left. After he When Jesus returned. When he returns? No. No. When in his first advent. In his first advent. Yeah. So if we look at Hebrews chapter one verses one and two, god who at sundry times and on diverse manners spake in times past through the prophets has in these last days Mhmm. Spoken unto us through his son. His son. The babe of Bethlehem, when he came on the scene, when he started his public ministry, those are the last days, the beginning of the last days. Culmination of the last days, his return, and continued reign on into the millennium. Right? Of the campaign of the last days. That's right. But we're in the last the last days. So we're not we're not in the time of Noah. We're not in the Old Testament time. We're in the New Testament period of time, and so we're in the last of the days. We're approaching that time where he's gonna return, and it's getting so incredibly close. Now he could have see, God who at sundry times and an adverse manner spake in the past through the prophets has in these last days spoken unto us by his son. He could have set up his kingdom during his first coming. Could have happened if he'd have been received by the nation. He gave him a chance, but they rejected him. It's fulfilling prophecy that he'd be cut off. Right? Mhmm. But it could happen, and the rapture could have happened any time since then. There's no prophecy that needs to be fulfilled for the rapture to take place. So the eminency, the doctrine of eminency that he could come at any moment continues up right up to this point in time. We're living in the last days. He could come at any moment. Right? So there you go. So be ready. Be watching. Be ready. Alright. So let's let's go around the room, and let's have each person say one quick thing that they're thankful for. Start with Jules. I'm very grateful for healing that I've received, and I'm grateful to everyone here. You guys have been wonderful, And, mostly, I'm grateful to Jesus for salvation. Amen. Amen. Shannon. I am very grateful for my salvation and for my church family. Mhmm. Praise the lord. Rob, what are you grateful for? I'm grateful for the lord's salvation. I'm grateful for a church that is fire for the lord and who is discerning. Mhmm. Even if I don't hold your hand, Rob? No? Robbie, how about you? Probably rebuilding my life. Grateful for God rebuilding my life. Me too. Me too. I'm so sorry what you've gone through. There was nowhere to go but up, so that's I'm sore I'm so sorry what you've gone Absolutely. This church is a rock. And you're thankful for Greg too. Yeah. I know. Greg, she's thankful for you. Jim, how about you? Like, Rob, absolutely grateful for God's salvation, and I'm also grateful that God has got more patience than I do. Oh, boy. Me too. His mercy. Me too. How about you, Thomas Cole? Well, I thank God for all the good food, and I I believe that this will not be the last supper. Amen. Amen. More to come. More eating this week. But I thank God that I had good reports in the last couple times regarding Your health? Healing on my legs. Nice. Oh, man. Nice. How about you, Vicky Sue? I have a lot of things to be grateful for. First thing that pops to my mind is my six grandchildren. Oh, boy. Oh. Oh, man. Amen. You're not bragging, are you? I love them so much. They are the second most beautiful grandchildren. They're so amazing. And my family, my husband, my friends, everybody here that I love so much. I have tons and tons of things to be grateful for. You're a thankful person. Yeah. Anybody else? Kathy? She'll just say she's thankful for me. Did she go? Brandon? Marlene? Miss Kathy is not present. Oh, really? Yeah. She's outside. Corey, are you thankful? Thanks. Nancy? Nancy, what are you thankful for? I'm thankful. Sister. That I have the holy spirit that gives me the strength and wisdom to raise a little boy by myself. Oh, you're doing a great job. Great job. Corey's great. We used to sing a song at the at the church that says, name count your many blessings and see what God has done. And then somebody was singing, count your many blessings, wave them tongue by tongue. Amen. Amen. Amen. Alright. Anybody else? I've had hundreds and thousands of blessings. And one blessing I share with Vicky, we have Christmas birthday. I think that's a real blessing. I have Christian parents. I've had I got to be in the military and be a vet by playing in the band, which was great. I have wonderful I've had wonderful animals even though I never had the blessing of being married and having children. And my brothers are great, and I have two nephews. And I have a great nephew who's half Indonesian and, you know, just God takes care of all our needs, and he goes with the brothers too. Amen. Praise the Lord. Amen. Amen. Lots to be thankful for. Lots to be thankful for. Amen. And what In every get in everything gets thanks. Thankful for? Yeah. I'm thankful for my salvation. I can't believe you saved me. Amen. Amen. Thankful for my family. I'm thankful I get to serve them. I'm thankful for you guys. I'm just thankful that we're not walking in darkness that we Mhmm. We we have help. The Lord's helping us navigate this time we're living in. Mhmm. And there's such a peace. There's a joy and a blessing in knowing that he's coming soon. And Amen. We're right in the pocket. We're right in the groove. We're right where we're supposed to be. I I like the sense of of contentment that I'm we're right where we're supposed to be. I'd hate to be on the outside, you know, trying to make sense of all this and navigate it. So, yeah, I'm I'm very thankful you saved me every day. I thank the Lord. Thank you for saving me, Lord. Thank you for saving me. Right? Amen. Alright. Father, we come before you. And, Lord, we thank you for Rob and Vicky. Thank you for each and every person, for Betty and everybody that brought food, and thank you for all the healing that you've been doing. I pray that you continue to heal those who may not be feeling well tonight. Maybe Cathy outside there. I don't know. Mhmm. But, Lord, just thank you for your healing touch. Be with Ronnie and Fred and continue to heal them and Dee, her cold, and Robbie's getting over her cold. And, Lord, we lift up Jason. Pray that you continue to do miracles with Jason. Thank you for Dennis and Christine are getting better, and Johnny and Charlotte, and just others in the body. Lee, we pray that you heal his knees, and both knees, Lord, get them strong. And Nancy, thank you for them. Thank you for Tammy and Jim and others that you brought this Sunday to remind us how much you love us, Lord, seeing people from abroad that have been watching. And, I just lift up all of our family members, lift up the Thanksgiving holiday proper, and just pray that you give us traveling mercies and help us to be a blessing to those around us, an encouragement to those around us, and that your love would prevail, Lord. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen. Amen. Marlene, did you wanna say what you're thankful for? I'm thankful for his forgiveness, and mercy is new every day. Amen. And mercy is new every day. That was Marlene Miller. Yeah. She knows what a sinner she is. And I wanna It's true. I wanna
