Jeremiah 28
Pastor Rick Beaudry examines Jeremiah 28, contrasting Jeremiah's faithful warnings with Hananiah's comforting but false prophecies and showing how God tests and exposes prophets who speak presumptuously. He draws contemporary parallels to political false hope, emotional revivalism, and church apostasy, urging us to test every message by Scripture and by its fruit. Rick calls for bold, loving rebuke of false teaching when necessary, continual engagement with the Word, and spiritual discipline so our faith can withstand coming storms. He emphasizes repentance, humility, and the importance of regular church life for families as the best protection and preparation for the difficult days ahead.
