Jeremiah 23 - Part 2
Pastor Rick Beaudry continues his study of Jeremiah 23, contrasting false prophets who prophesy lies and dreams with true prophets who faithfully proclaim God’s word. He warns that many churches have drifted into therapeutic, feel good messages about mental health while leaving out sin, repentance and prophecy, and he mentions a report that up to 41 percent of pastors are considering leaving. Drawing on Jeremiah, Paul, Timothy and Titus, he urges us to hold to sound doctrine, sound speech and a sound mind, to feed Christ’s sheep with Scripture, and to test dreams and visions against the Bible. Rick also addresses spiritual warfare, perseverance under trial, and God’s promise to preserve a faithful remnant as we rely on the Holy Spirit rather than cultural therapies or false teachers.
