Jeremiah 19
Pastor Rick Beaudry expounds Jeremiah 19 and challenges us to obey the Great Commission, using practical evangelism tools like the Romans Road to bring the gospel to others. He unpacks Jeremiah’s potter’s vessel object lesson and the Valley of Hinnom, connecting Topheth and Gehenna to the biblical picture of national judgment and the horrific consequences of persistent idolatry. Drawing on related passages in Samuel, Kings, Habakkuk and Lamentations, he warns that a people who forsake God invite devastation, siege and even famine. Beaudry urges repentance, prayerful teaching and bold evangelism as our response amid cultural deception and spiritual warfare.
