Jeremiah 16 - Part 2 thru Jeremiah 17
Pastor Rick Beaudry walks us through Jeremiah 16 (part 2) and Jeremiah 17, exposing Judah’s deeply engraved idolatry and the coming judgment that follows trust in man rather than God. He contrasts the curse of relying on flesh with the blessing of trusting the Lord, using the tree-by-the-water and Psalm 1 imagery to urge meditation on Scripture, repentance, and dependence on the Holy Spirit for true heart change. Drawing on David’s failure and Psalm 51, he reminds us that only God can create a clean heart and warns that neglect of Sabbath, pastoral faithfulness, and wholehearted obedience brings ruin. The message closes in prayer for Maui and for a missing girl named Jasmine, and calls us to choose holiness over worldly comfort.
