Vickie Wiederrich hosts part two of Be Not Deceived with Pastor Rick Beaudry, taking a deep dive into prophecy by walking through the book of Revelation and reminding us that John’s apocalypse unveils Jesus. They outline Revelation chronologically, from John’s vision and the seven churches as the church age, to the rapture, the seals, trumpets and tribulation events (including the 144,000 and the two witnesses), Babylon and Armageddon, the thousand year reign, and the new heaven and new earth. The conversation applies the Laodicean warning to our prosperity-minded culture, urges us to repent and rely on Scripture plus the Holy Spirit as our decoder, and rejects rapture theories that would leave the church under God’s wrath. Throughout they press evangelism, resisting the mark of the beast, the blessed hope of Christ’s return, and God’s grace even for the worst sinners.
