Vickie Wiederrich welcomes Pastor Rick Beaudry to continue a careful, scripture by scripture look at the rapture, tracing the term from Latin rapturus back to the Greek harpazo and grounding the teaching in passages like 1 Thessalonians 4:13 18, John 14:1 3, 1 Corinthians 15 and Revelation. They present a pretribulational, imminent rapture view, using Jewish wedding imagery to explain betrothal, the fetching, a seven year marriage ceremony and the marriage supper of the Lamb.
